This is my first experience with precious metals. It was to convert my thrift plan to precious metal. Dimitri and Mike explained everything in order for the transaction go smooth and see that I had some knowledge about precious metals.

As Administrative Assistant to an investor, it is always a pleasure to work with the staff at Lear Capital. We have been treated with absolute respect, dignity and courtesy regardless of our concerns. Lear takes time to inform and educate their clients so as each decision made by the client is truly an informed transaction. We have previously worked with a handful of other investment houses lacking the skills and concern we receive from Lear Capital. We have happily cultivated both a business and friendship with those we have worked with. Lear Capital is to be commended and recommended for their professionalism and standards. I have recommended Lear to many others and will not hesitate in the future.

Overall the experience was very good. The only exceptions were very inaccurate processing estimates: the time clear my check, the time estimate to ship, and the delivery (transit) time all were very different from what I was lead to believe. I will certainly do business with Lear Capital in the future.

I enjoyed the order visit with Dana. This is all new to me and the wife. We converted a part of our savings to silver and gold. We are afraid of bank closure due to the huge debit. Dana helped us out. To save our savings. Thank You Dana.

I will order again. The experience was a pleasant one that worked well for me. Being able to complete the entire transaction electronically is very important to me. The process is always just as expected with no surprises. If anyone should ever asks about a recommendation for a broker of precious metals, I would submit Lear.

My experience with Lear Capital and Tom ** was wonderful. Tom was very patient with me. He was willing to wait while I found out important information about what I needed from this purchase. This was the Third or fourth time I have purchased from Lear, and they make it easy to do business with them. The person I worked with was very helpful and gave me the options I needed.

I'm pretty satisfied with the overall experience. The conversations with Charlie were informative and confidence inspiring. If there is anything of concern since I made the purchase, it'd have to be a close to 30% charge for the service. I realize that to stay in business, you must make a profit, but the amount seems a little excessive. That is not going to make me scratch you off my list, however. I'm presently thinking about how to liquidate my 401K and still maintain most of what I have saved.

I order silver coins several times a year. Always an easy process with great communication from start to finish of the ordering process. I will buy more in the future from Lear Capital. Also I have recommended Lear to several friends with their precious metal needs. Thank you for your continued great service.

This was not my first purchase with Lear, but was equally excellent in the care with which Craig ** answered my questions, processed my order, and made sure everything went as planned. Lear Capital is an outstanding company with thoroughly professional account executives and world-class customer service.

I believe your employee called it a "Bait and Switch". We discussed the spread and I believed that we had agreed on 2 to 3 percent for gold bars. Another employee called and started with another term that I believed meant spread at about 7 percent. I mentioned that we had agreed to 2 to 3 percent. He then told me that it would be 3.68 percent. Then he launched into recorded verbal contract. I had never realized it would be verbal business contract. In fact the first employee and I had discussed me signing the invoice and I thought that it would be a written contract with the signed terms and conditions that I had earlier signed and returned and the signed invoice. That does not seem to be the way it turned out and I never would have agreed to verbal contract of business transaction of this size.

I was fortunate to be connected to William ** on my first call to Lear. During that call and subsequent calls he has always been very generous with his time and counsel. I have confidence in his recommendations.

My wife and I are very pleased to deal with Joanne. She is patient and explains things very well. She tells us both sides of the story and doesn't try to sell us something we don't want. We plan on a doing a lot more business with her. Thank you very much.

Treated very well by a good salesman. I feel gold and silver are important to have as our paper money is in bad shape, mainly because of excess government spending and debt not backed up by real money. We need to go back to the gold standard.

I was very satisfied in dealing with Cal **. He was very professional and helpful, and I would deal with him in the future, as well as recommend him to my friends that were in the market for gold or silver. My only concern in my experience with Lear Capital, was the delivery. I received my tracking number and everything, however, FedEx said they would deliver my item on Friday sometime before 8 P.M. Now, I realize that they had to have a signature for the delivery, but I wasted an entire day waiting for them. The delivery came at 5 P.M. Most companies that I deal with at least make it a morning or afternoon block. If I were still working and had to take an entire day off and then the delivery didn't come until the end of the workday, I would be very perturbed. Now, I seriously doubt that anything will come of this complaint, but keep in mind, you asked for my opinion and you got it!!!

On August 16, 2006, I purchased 17 one ounce gold American Eagles from Lear Capital. My account representative was Tom **. This was after initially contacting him several weeks earlier and was accompanied by several telephone conversations. I had only purchased gold coins once before and that was back in 2010. Throughout this process everything went well, but I just couldn't "pull the trigger" so to speak. During this time Tom did not put any pressure on me. I saw him as a consultant for an area that I did not have much expertise. Throughout this process he answered all of my questions, plus I gained a significant amount of knowledge about gold as well as silver (which we also discussed). In the end, I chose to make my purchase with Tom. The whole experience was pleasant and extremely professional. I would do it all over again. As well, I would not hesitate to recommend Lear Capital and Tom in the future.

Cindy and I had a wonderful experience with Lear Capital! Charlie and the rest of his team went above and beyond with their customer service. Charlie was especially helpful in educating us regarding precious metals. We cannot thank him enough for all his help.

At the time I ordered from Lear I purchase items from 2 other companies in a test run for service and quality. I got the shipment from Lear first, a week or so later, the shipment from # 2 and as of today, I am still waiting on the 3rd order. As of this date, Pierre has been good to work with and I liked his communication on my account.

I am extremely disappointed in Lear Capital. In my 60's as a new silver buyer I expected truth and transparency. Instead I got sold what was going to make my agent and Lear Capital the most profit. Arctic Silver Fox coins. 300 hundred of them. $46 each. Today I found them at $33. With spot near $20 and not being privy on how to sell it I think I'm going to lose on this deal. I wanted silver as part of my portfolio but I have to believe I was better off buying 1 ounce Maple Leafs. $ signs by Lear got me here. Be very careful what you buy. This is very disheartening. Sad really. Sorry I don't have order number. My email and phone are on file with ConsumerAffairs. Don't believe I would get a reply anyway.

Very bad experience. I have notes of what I was buying and a confirmation email from Lear Capital of gold and silver that I was buying. They did not send the correct amount silver to the depository. Email confirmation stated I was to receive 489 oz of silver falcon coins in 1 1/2 oz coins. They only sent 300 oz. I am having a hard time getting matter resolved.

Lear has resolved my complaint and was very concerned about my being upset and have eased my concerns.

Always enjoyed doing business with Lear Capital. Dino has always been helpful and takes the time to explain what I don't understand. I trust him and thank him for his expertise and the smooth way each transaction has been handled.

The only thing I have anything to say about is I don't recall anyone telling me what you charge as a commission until after the purchase was completed. I would not have invested through you had I known.

After my experience working with Michael, I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. He took time to explain and answer all my questions and concerns. He promptly returned my calls, friendly and very respectful. If I decide to invest again in precious metal I definitely would use Michael.

My two recent orders went exactly has I had been told they would. Only time will tell if I had made a wise investment and/or if I paid a fair and reasonable price for the products I purchased. I did feel the representative (Ped **) was being honest and above board with me. I am very pleased with the service I am receiving from Derrick at Lear Capital for the purchase of precious metals. My experience with customer service has been ok since I have been a new customer. Mr. ** seems to know his products and would hope he is looking out for my best interests. I purchased certain silver coins on the recommendations of Mr. ** as these were a better investment. The only issues so far is having him or customer service return my phone calls which rarely happen. I understand they are busy and am not requesting an immediate phone call but it would be nice if they would return my message in the future.

Very happy with Dana **. Think that the timing was good. Would like to know a little more about the value of the coins other than just the going rate of the daily value of silver prices. The value has already increased by around 20 percent but when I do the math it still shows that I'm paid more for the coins than their value.

This was my 1st purchase of metals and Brad was very helpful and gave me good advice.

The problem I have is that I requested bullion and bars, not coins. All I received was Snow Falcon coins. I felt like this was being "pushed" upon me. I received a $500 certificate for opening my account, and was willing to receive that in the coins. Thus, my experience was disappointing.

Set up Precious Metals IRA - My only problem was with not having the rep state at the beginning that the amount of gold or silver I would get was not at the current spot price until the final day the sale went through. That I feel should be understood long before that.

Rep could not have been better. I was ready to buy from Monex when he made a follow up call so I didn't go through details, assuming Lear would be competitive. Rep steered me to Silver Falcons which I appreciated. I find I paid a very heavy premium, which my rep is trying to adjust. Steered a friend spontaneously today to Monex albeit reluctantly. Will be buying again within 2 months and another friend will be buying gold soon. Can't in good conscience recommend Lear.

33% COMMISSION. At the very end of the deal they did a BAIT AND SWITCH. They convinced me to purchase Canadian Silver Falcons instead of Canadian Maple Leaves. As a result I was charged a 33% COMMISSION. I was rolling over $70,000 into an IRA. That would have gotten me close to 3500 1 oz Maple leaves at a cost of about $20.00 per oz. Instead I ended up with $1520 1.5 oz Silver Falcons, or 2281 oz and paid close to $30.5 per oz. So instead of paying $20 per oz I paid 30.5 per oz. They offered to buy back my Silver Falcons at a price of around $28.00 per coin. So in 3 Weeks time My $70,000 investment with Lear in now Worth $43,000.

Mr. ** handled the order in a very expeditious and courteous manner and the delivery of the coins I ordered were delivered within 10 days. My only concern, which I voiced to Mr. **, was the FedEx delivery man left the $6200 package on the porch while we were home and no door bell or knock was heard. Mr. ** assured me this would be passed on to the shipping department manager.

I'm generally happy with the experience. I just got the letter showing the details, and I feel I may have been overcharged a bit, but it's too late now. My investment was in silver, and it was quite large for me. I expected, from all I read and heard, that silver would go up; but since I bought it, it has gone down 11%. I do realize it is a long-term investment. Hopefully it will perform well over time.
