I just think it's pretty Bad that people that had a lawsuit fought for what should of been enough. It wasn't and I just did a transaction for 2,800 & JG got 151,000.00 and I'm homeless. I pray one day to be compensated for all the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS I ONE DAY GET BACK. STRAIGHT CROOKS.

I was promised that Monday, August 30th I’d receive my money. They know I have certain obligations and now a representative from JG is saying “there’s nothing he can do.” About a 57k transfer. Are you serious. I don’t deserve this after all of the money I have made JG Wentworth. Will never RECOMMEND.

Process was fast. Information was good and Mike ** was a great guy. Tried his best to keep me informed and got my deal done. Pleasure to do business with 100 percent straightforward no hidden details. Would recommend JG to anyone.

JG Wentworth doesn’t disclose any information to an outside party when you're getting ready to bind that agreement and I experienced that personally. If you want somebody to know anything about your account and the other person calls, looking for information or references to verify, I'm going to call to have a conference call. So, I trust JG Wentworth with my information. I have no problem with it. The customer service has gone beyond and further when I needed them. Even on weekends or off days, if I mail, they would call. Even out of the office, they would call and ask me if my problem was solved. And if it hadn’t been solved, then they would call me and get it taken care of. So, they were excellent.

My experience with JG Wentworth from the beginning to the end has been absolutely phenomenal. I immediately started working with Clark **, he was very knowledgeable in giving me a quote and explaining to me thoroughly the process and procedures that are going to take place in order for me to get my lump sum in selling my structured settlement. Every single time I had a question, a concern, or didn’t understand something he was always at the ready to inform me and help me understand and has a vast wealth of knowledge in The business that he does.

The reps at JG Wentworth helped me out a lot. I had surgery, I lost my car and everything was going down. I was getting a vendor for my house and I was thinking of what I was gonna do. There was issues with my settlement that Mark **, went out of his way to take care of. It took some time and phone calls that at times felt like daily phone calls. The process was about two months long. I was told that everything would have been settled around mid-March but it got settled in April. Also, in the beginning, the customer support wasn’t as good as I would have wanted to. Every time I tried to get in touch with the person that was assigned to my case, they weren't available at all. Then someone else got assigned and that person was very helpful. He called me almost every week and every time I called him, he responded and if he couldn't get it, he would call me right back. They kept me updated with everything and I didn't have to do much. All I did was have to go to court and get my money. They made everything easy. The money came in perfect timing and they gave me more than I asked for. I'm happy I did it.

Jay, the rep I worked with, was good and he helped me throughout the process. It took a bit longer than I expected to sell my annuity but it was also more complicated than it normally is. So, it wasn't a big company-wide issue I was having. JG Wentworth is a big company so they'll get things done probably more effectively than smaller companies, and for a better price.

We've just been working with JG Wentworth for years and they have the best rates. The service is good and they're pretty quick. Sometimes, there were hard times but their rep April made everything better. She always goes above and beyond for me to make sure that I'm taken care of. JG Wentworth is a good company to work with. They helped us get what we need to be done with the funds. Our lives moved for the better.

I liked the reputation that JG Wentworth has. I used them three times and had a good experience. I also used another company once and I got a little better rate on my return. With JG Wentworth, Mark was my rep and he was outstanding. He treated me right and helped me a lot. I have his direct number. If I ever need anything, I call him and work with him.

JG Wentworth was really professional, genuinely cared and I really like my experience with them. They were very communicative and I like that they can text as well as talk on the phone. They worked with my schedule if they needed to talk to me and they were very understanding and it felt like I was talking to a friend instead of a business person because they can relate so easily.

Keeping Wentworth in the loop for my business would be more conventional for me. The process with them was fairly easy because they had my information from prior contracts. Customer support was great, especially Griffin. He was the main person that I worked with me.

Wentworth was a little more upfront. They break things down to me and never lie. Their reps Ryan and Raymar were great. Wentworth was able to help me all the way and pay off my debts. I learned something new and they did too such as doing the stipulations for brokers. Working with Wentworth was a great experience. We told people about the company. They have actually done a deal and completed it.

Lies.. and misleading. I was short $5000. Can't catch me again.. How can you buy my payments I'm still getting.. It was a trick..and God will punish everyone involved.. And know this is not helping anyone. Buy JG Wentworth loan sharks.

I've used JG Wentworth in the past and working with them was all right. I sought their services again recently and I was happy with the customer support that I received from them.

It was a really easy process working with JG Wentworth. They were straightforward about what the process was going to look like and what we needed to do. They let us know everything that we needed to make the process a little easier. They were by our side the entire step of the way. They also followed up with me after the settlement and then a couple of weeks later to see if we needed anything else from them, not to hesitate to give them a call. If we ever need anything in the future, they would love to work with us. They were really great. If I ever need another lump sum, I would not even question it. They're the first ones that I would go to.

They offered me an amount less than what I hoped to get, I countered and they said the best they could do would be an amount $500 less than what I wanted, but if I filled out and turned in the application that day, I would get the $500 bonus being offered that would take me to my target amount. Sounds great, right? Well, I get the deposit into my account and it's $500 short; they never gave me the bonus. I emailed three times and finally got an email telling me it was on its way. That was a month ago and now no one will respond to my emails. Don't recommend this company.

After the contract is signed and the initial payment is made, their customer service is poor. I have partial payments from the coming every 4 years and I have yet to get one without calling them and getting enraged with their lies as to why it has not been sent. I contacted them today about a payment that is over 2 weeks late and they hung up on me! I guess it's time to get the BBB involved!

I have been working with Tim over the past couple of months, almost a year. My experience has been wonderful so far. If I have to make any other arrangements with anything, I will use Tim again!! There’s no one else I would rather work with!!

Would give less stars if possible. My transaction took almost four months to complete. I had more than one representative handling my case, so not only having to refamaliarize the second person with my case, they had an attitude the entire time with me. I would not get very important information until hours before I needed to know it, and instead of just calling me a day or two in advance so I would have this information they would just call me up to SEVEN times in a row! The entire transaction was handled completely unprofessionally and I would have used any other company if I knew this would have happened this way.

Let me first start off by saying that I am still waiting for my money. First of all nobody showed up to court the first court date because your team did not have all the documentation that they needed when they had adequate time. After rescheduling your court date nearly a month later. January 6 to be exact at 1 PM I am still waiting for my funds to be placed into my account although I do appreciate the advances that I got. Up to this point I’m still waiting for my $75,000. I was lied to. Told the money would be in my account. The wire transfer would be completed. I was told lies numerous times by your staff. I do not appreciate it. I would never do business with this corporation again. Sincerely Carlos **. You people should be ashamed of the way you do business.

My experience with JG has always been a great experience. Speedy process and getting my funding was easy and simple. I have done multiple transactions with them and they have been great. Would recommended anyone and everyone to use JG.

I don't know whether the person working with me was new or incompetent. I got incorrect & contradicting information a number of times to where I started to not trust anything she told me. After months & months of them calling me several times a day sometimes, as it got closer and we got into a snafu (that could have been completely avoided if Darrah had told me the correct info from the getgo), I frequently had to hunt her down to get answers to my questions or updates. I finally got my settlement in the end, but I wouldn't work with them again. I can't say that I wholeheartedly recommend them. I mean I know if you're considering this, you might be in desperate straits, and all my research prior indicated that they were the big name in these kinds of settlements. But you would've never guessed that this was routine to them by the number of snafus that came up.

My worker or agent was very good at keeping me up to date and helping me with any questions and whatever I had along the way to get thru the whole process..You couldn't ask for a better company if you are in the market to get a lump sum in place of payments.

Rebecca was always nice and professional when the annuity company hung up on us 3 times. Rebecca also communicated with us a couple times a week (to keep us informed about our annuity.).

The 2nd time working with JG. Now going to be my last time. Have been waiting a month now to get funded and it has just been a terrible waiting game. One place somehow messed up paper work which then affects another and just an ongoing waiting game when even the website said get funded up to 3 weeks the latest. Terrible.

They helped me refinance and now I am saving more money with a slight budget cut. I bought a deep freezer and started shopping at ALDI. ALDI’s food is 1/5th the price of the Normal Grocery Store and now I can buy food in bulk so I only have to go to the store once a month and now I am saving tons of cash with the adjustment. I also managed to get all the things I wanted and have extra cash in the bank. Thank you so much. If anybody else out there is reading this I would advise you do the same transaction and get yourself a deep freezer and shop at ALDI to reduce expensive take out and grocery store costs. You will make all the money back in your transaction and more. A deep freezer is also helpful in emergencies too. I sold the bare minimum of payments I could sell. You don’t have to sell everything all at once. Now my entire house is functional and happy. Thank you Jonathan ** the financial consultant whom made this all possible.

At first I was nervous about calling but after 5 minutes on the phone with Ray I became a lot more comfortable. Ray And everyone else at JGW made my experience very easy and they all had patience with me. I can’t thank you guys enough!

I did two deals with them. My kids are sick and I needed the money for Bill's. The first deal I was totally ripped off. For what they purchased what they funded me was less than 20% but with my daughter being gravely ill and me not knowing any better I took the deal we'd do anything for our kids right I realized later that I should have been funded way more. Then they called me non stop for the next 5 years harassing me to do another deal. I couldn't even answer my phone anymore. Then with the current state of the country and Covid 19 and not working for 3 months I looked into doing another deal with a different company. They call after I get a court date on second deal and offer me a decent amount of money which further lets me know how much they ripped me off on the first deal. So I decided to take it because financially it was the best offer for my money.

The wrong information and I could not get any money. From the annuity company And when I called Mark back. He instantly. Started working to help me get my money that I needed to start my real estate business. His communication was awesome As well as his follow-up. Last year he assisted in the sell off and sales to close out all of my brother, Michael **'s Annuities with Ameriprise. Nick worked very diligently and tirelessly on assisting me with this long and complicated process. I've dealt with JGW three separate times regarding my settlement. I will NEVER deal with them again. They have no idea what they are talking about. Prior to selling the last time I had the representative taking care of my sale reiterate multiple times how my payments will be laid out in the future. Now I am receiving my payments and it is $100 LESS than what I was told multiple times. Now I am having to dig back through contracts to see what I missed. All in all this company lost my respect. They are sneaky and they are crooks. Last week I called customer service and was told one thing. This week I called again and was told that the last person I spoke to gave me false information. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Having sold a portion of my payments resulted in the entire monthly payments going to Wentworth, where I then have to wait for them to pay me. Apparently it was more convenient for them to hold on to the funds and wait for me to call them to remind them to pay me even though I had spoken to them twice already about getting paid. Over 2 weeks delay on when I used to get paid is a hardship when depending on those funds.

I am beyond satisfied with the service JG Wentworth has provided me. Their staff is very knowledgeable about the business, the court system in every aspect aspect of selling your structured settlement payments and they walk with you hand in hand through this process. For 3 weeks JG Wentworth has been claiming that they asked the annuity holder for a benefits letter and that I should have received it in the mail which I never got. I provided them with the one that I had and was told it was fine. Now all of a sudden after the judge signed the order they are refusing to fund me the money after I already signed over payments and that the benefits letter I provided is not good enough. This is not ok. I will be consulting with an attorney. This can’t be legal.

I've been dealing with JG since June 2019. After getting quotes from other companies I decided to go with them because they are "the best in the industry". They claimed that the process was easy once approved and I would have my money within 1-2 days of approval. I went to court THREE weeks ago (9/27) and got approved and have still not received my funds. Every time I reach out to them, they claim they are waiting for approval from another state. They knew that my settlement was assigned in another state from the very beginning and should have had this handled in unison with my hearing or prior. I spoke to a manager back in August and anytime I call in and ask for him he is either out of the office or in a meeting. Not to mention, the receptionist that answers has raised her voice towards me twice now.

Updated on 07/18/2019: Well after complaining about their phone calls, the calls did stop for a couple of days. I just hope that they will stop calling me. I haven't received any calls but today they have a new tactic. I checked my mail and I opened an unmarked envelope. Guess what was inside of the envelope. They mailed me a credit/debit card. I immediately cut that card up and threw the pieces in the trash. I just wish that they just leave me alone.

I called J.G. Wentworth looking for a pre-settlement lawsuit loan. When a J.G. Wentworth employee answered the phone they ask a couple of questions and then transfer my call. The next thing I heard was..."PeachTree may I help you?". I asked myriad of questions of the PeachTree employee that I was just on the phone with J.G. Wentworth and just happened and why. The PeachTree employee told me that J.G. Wentworth and PeachTree are owned by the same Parent Company and that J.G. Wentworth just refers the calls to PeachTree.

I have to say the customer service was excellent! I worked with Anthony ** who was there to answer all my questions, no matter how many times I called. Not only did he keep me in the loop while going through the process, he genuinely checked in on me time to time. He had the right patience, the same attitude from start to finish.

Did business with them and the representative was so busy flirting with me and sending me inappropriate text he didn’t even disclose that J.G. Wentworth and Peachtree are sister companies. I wouldn’t have sold over a million dollars to them for $300k if I had known that. I recently found out that their deals were horrible that I did with them and I could have gotten easily $250k more. Terrible people and scammers. I’ve tried to contact them now to see if there is any way they can negotiate with me since I didn’t know they were affiliated with one another and they didn’t give me the best deals, but their attorney just basically laughed in my face. He said it’s online in their annual reports and I should’ve known they are under the same company. Annual reports? Who looks that up? You are better off taking out a loan instead of working with them.

Anthony ** was the man who worked my case! He kept in contact with me for over a year and continued to give me helpful advice! Periodically we discussed the potential benefits that could come from a purchase especially with the company JG Wentworth! He was never pushy or sounding as if he was trying to con me into anything like most salesmen do!
