I do not have any experience. The app was recommended by a technician during repairing my laptop. I did not hear about the app before and I did not have been aware of the danger of being threatened by identity robbery.

Provides important information for email security, bank and cc security and alerts of sex offenders in the area. They offer a host of coverage not mentioned. This is helpful to me as I am very busy and have been hacked several times. So far so good and the price is affordable. Highly recommend this service.

So far, on the website, I can't set text notifications and I can't add my Instagram account for it to monitor. As for the app, it's a complete mess. Every time I click on the notifications button to set up text notifications, the app crashes. Sometimes the app crashes for no reason. Allowing it to use the fingerprint reader is pointless, because it makes you use your pin to log in. Also, there are several things that you still have to go to the website to do. I just signed up and I'm already thinking about cancelling my membership.

Most of our accounts were added as they should be, but I have three that are being added due to your system. I get a message that the account can't be added right now but check back in a few days, or similar. I've done that and they are still not able to be added. Also, finding the accounts in your system is difficult. I have trouble with my CITI AAdvantage (American Airlines) MasterCard. You have to put the right words in that the system recognizes or it won't find it and says no results...

You seem to have two Discover Card accounts listed for me. I have only one. The other was closed because I never received the card. Your interface won't tell me what the card numbers are so that I can delete the incorrect one!!

An online purchase was made in my name for 286 at Bed Bath and Beyond and we did not get an alert. That was in May. We did not get reimbursement from our bank. It is still being investigated. We CANCELED. Not worth it. Judith

Got 2 alerts today, suggesting that two of my accounts have been "disconnected", namely Freedom CC and Chase Mortgage. I checked. The Freedom CC is listed as CC #2 and seems to be active. The Chase Mortgage has been closed now for at least 12 months if not more. I believe that I tried to cancel online and was not able to do so and then call someone who did cancelled it. So, I don't know why these alerts. Please check.

When I called I received excellent customer service - she told me about a discount that she could apply and let me know which family options were available and what would work best for my situation - she was very knowledgeable. I will try this service for 1 year, but so far after day 1, I will NOT be renewing this service for a second time...extremely poorly managed...what a waste of money. If people are reading this "DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE", like myself you will greatly wish you never took this service.

I was having trouble recently with my Identity Force shutting off. Zoom discovered that, at least on my MacBook Pro, you can’t use Identity Force in conjunction with VPN. VPN shuts off Identity Force. The Identity Force rep was very nice and jovial and we all got it straightened out.

I decided to get identity theft protection when a coworker had their bank account emptied. After a bit of research, I decided to go with Identity Force and have been satisfied ever since! I like that they send me notification in regards to sex offenders in my area as well as they keep me updated on my credit scores. The process of logging in and changing/updating information is very easy. Would definitely recommend!

I just got many alerts that my e-mail password had been breached. Some of these were from sites I have never held an account on, or from sites which are simply gone. The flurry of scary e-mails sending me to your site, which then advised me to change non-existent passwords on defunct sites was not useful. It makes your system look bad and untrustworthy, and that you're using scare tactics to convince customers they must keep your service.
For example I have never had accounts on verifications.io, Spectre Middle East, or ServerBox Pack The advice to change my password on verifications.io is worthless because the site is long gone. The alert that the Domain Whois Database was "exposed" was ridiculous because this was always intended to be public information. There is no password to change. Many of these alerts are several years old (as far back as 2013!) and hardly relevant any more. The passwords on those accounts had long been changed.
In addition, I get e-mails I can't turn off about something I consider offensive and wrong - the sex offender lists. Those lists are heavily abused, full of people who've served their time and should no longer be harassed, and contain many people for lousy reasons. They're a symptom of fear and I don't want them, and yet, can't shut that fear-mongering feature off. If my office didn't pay for this service, I wouldn't keep it. I find it annoying, inaccurate, useless fear-mongering.

I received notification about an alert on my credit account by Core Logic Credco in San Diego, CA on 7/19/2020. It turns out it was by their client, Wells Fargo Bank in MN, for a condo that I was applying for financing. I had forgotten about it. I liked your notification because it was very specific about what I needed to do and next steps to take, otherwise it would have been very intimidating.

In my opinion, the core of IdentityForce seems to be the same or similar to the stuff my credit card companies provide me for free. I don't see the value of paying for this product when I'm able to get the majority of it for free from my credit card company. Notwithstanding, I could also request my free credit report from each agency once per year and obtain much of the information shown here.

Identity Force dropped my SS #, my banking info, social media information from my profile for an unknown amount of time. None of my information was monitored and I was still paying for the service. This is extremely frustrating. I reached out to their team to find out what happened and kept getting this same response "we are looking into the details, we are unsure why this occurred." That is unacceptable and they didn't offer any kind of partial refund for the time that was lost. It seems unfair to have to pay for a service that is broken and when their own employees don't care that you are paying for something that doesn't work.

I am disappointed that I do not receive alerts/reports when someone pulls a credit report on me. I also don't have a way to ensure that you are monitoring for use of my SSN and ID information. I don't receive any monthly reports and cannot see if everything is ok or not. I used another company in the past and received regular reports on their monitoring. I am considering changing companies to do this.

When I tried to go to purchase lookup to unmark automatic payments, the site from the email went nowhere and the homepage did not have a tab for Purchase lookup. I would really like the option of trying this out for a year before it automatically renews.

I have been extremely pleased with the swift services provided by IdentityForce. I originally enrolled as a part of my employee benefits package for my new job last year. I was really interested in the credit monitoring and sex offender listing options provided. I was blown away by the accuracy alone in the credit monitoring and pleased to say I have been able to improve my credit thanks to IdenityForce. The sex offender monitoring was much more accurate than the national listing and gave important details than made me feel safe about where I lived. All in all, I highly recommend IdentityForce.

I was recently a victim of identity theft. The problem with a lot of the free credit monitoring services is they only work with one credit reporting agency. I like that I have one site. I can get access to the serials from all 3 agencies.

Get an email from Identity Force saying they were going to cancel my account for non payment. I then log into Identity Force to Make a payment and there is nowhere to add my credit card. I then call support. First, they say click the link in the email. I find this odd as one of the number one security protocols is to NEVER click links in emails but to go to the website directly and login. It is even more concerning to me that the company that is supposed to protect my data has no clue about this. Anyway, I click the link and it doesn't work. Support person then says someone else will have to help and I have to wait for them to call me back. I would think that a technology company that is monitoring my credit would have enough development expertise to program in payment information in the website. This experience has left me with the feeling that Identity Force doesn't know what it is doing. Also, it wasted my time.

I am really disappointed with Identity Force. When I purchased my subscription for one year, I thought my credit score could be updated frequently. I went with IF for that reason. To have to pay to have an updated report is ridiculous when I already spent money for a one year subscription. I would not refer my friends or family to go with IF.

I found all of their services to be satisfactory. I signed up after the Equifax breach when all of my personal information was compromised. I chose this company because it had the best reviews for identity theft protection which was extremely important at that point in time. Although it took a lot of work to go through the initial setup I felt confident that my information was protected and safe from identity theft. Any time I had any questions about an account or about anything else, customer service was readily available and able to answer my questions.

So far, I'm unimpressed with my subscription. I'm beginning to think that I should've went with Creditwise (FREE) or Lifelock's combination of services. In the beginning, I was told that my email was on the dark web but no followup on any damage to my credit! Second, my credit scores don't match what my credit cards are reporting...Why? And how about a little innovation on your part? For example, I've been getting an inordinate amount of unidentified phone calls and every Jonny come lately wants you to PAY FOR ACCESS TO CALLER IDs. How about you guys offering to at least identify the spam, telemarketers and potential fraudsters as part of your package???? I currently have NOMOROBO but they only block about 50% of the frivolous calls but how many are really fraud? Hint: that's where you should come in!

Do not waste your money on this company. Their software will not protect you, their customer service is unable to assist you with real problems, and that is on the off-chance that they even answer the phone. I have requested cancellation of the service 3 days ago, verbally, for cause. There is no way to do this online despite the "cancel anytime" verbiage in the initial agreement. I was told I would receive an email confirmation (have not) and my account would be canceled. No confirmation of this. I chose this company after a major US data breach occurred & requirement was to obtain identity theft protection for one year as part of the claims process. They have NOT met any reasonable expectation for customer service and in consideration of their line of work, you would think this is something they would at least give the appearance of being proficient with. Very dissatisfied.

I am a totally dissatisfied customer. I thought I was buying protection, turns out I was just buying a hook to sell me four different kinds of protection (SSN, Name, Dark Web, Credit Reports). If I had received these gotcha messages within the first thirty days, I would have bailed so fast you wouldn't even know I had purchased. Really upset over this, I consider the whole thing misleading. I would not recommend this protection to anyone.

You do a good job of reporting one type of transaction on one account. Unfortunately, you do not report on--therefore, we assume you are not monitoring--any other account. We have contacted you numerous times and have been assured that this is not your fault but the fault of the other institutions. Of course, they all say that you have never contacted them to resolve this failure. Needless to say, this is completely unacceptable.

I use a Credit Union for my checking, savings and money market accounts. When I used Lifelock, these were monitored. IdentityForce continually loses access to the accounts so they are not being monitored. The only alerts I get are for sexual predators in my area. I will be cancelling my account.

I received an alert last week. I tried calling to find out more about it, as the description online I didn't understand. The system said to leave a message and someone would get in touch with me. That was over a week ago, and nobody has reached out. Being a victim of identity theft, it is VERY important to me that the company monitoring my information be available 24/7. July 2019 someone attempted to open four credit cards using my social and birthday. I was alerted by IdentityForce and with their help was able to stop all of the applications and Correct my credit report. Without IdentityForce my credit would have been destroyed. Thanks for your help!

Be careful as they tried to ongoing bill us after my contract without notifying me in advance. They said I have to notify them in writing, not call! Crazy. The program went fine and kept updating me monthly. So far mine was clean and safe.

Great price until you add another family member (ie Wife) then the price goes up alot. Reports are always behind schedule, but alerts are awesome. Never able to use the Credit reporting part of the service, it always kicks back and I end up going into the Credit reporting agency to get corrections or challenge mistakes. Overall a really good product, with many really good parts to protect your credit reports.

I have received a couple of fraud alerts since I became a member but I have had to address the problem by contacting my credit card service and bank myself in order to get detailed info and resolution. I have tried to speak to an actual person on several occasions, but all I can get to are canned responses that do not address my issues. The latest problem I had was a couple of weeks ago. Someone hacked my credit card and tried to make two purchases. My credit card service declined the purchases and contacted me. We cancelled the card and they issued a new one to me. I heard nothing from IdentityForce about any of this problem. I will not be renewing.

I've had IdentityForce for a few years now and am so glad! Just recently I had someone try to use a closed credit card to charge some kind of travel/entertainment on it in FLORIDA--I live in OHIO! IdentityForce caught it and I was able to speak to the credit card's company to let them know so they could let the credit bureaus know, so they could put an alert on my file. I would never have known had it not been for the monitoring by IdentityForce!

I appreciate the sex offender alerts. In regards to the credit monitoring alerts, those alerts appear rather useless. Historically, when I receive those, the alert instructs me call Identity Force for more information. When I speak with a representative they have not been able to actually provide more detailed information about the alert. I am simply directed to speak with one of the three credit bureaus. Last year I received a credit monitoring alert from Identity Force, was instructed to call one of the credit bureaus and the credit bureau wanted me to pay a fee to get more information. Very frustrating. I considered switching to LifeLock but they have really bad reviews regarding customer service. I am also considering dropping Identity Force simply because I cannot get detailed information regarding the credit alerts that I receive. I will continue with Identity Force until I can find a service actually able to help when I receive an alert.

I have never used a product like this before and I found it very easy to use. It records a lot of information and keeps track of it all in one place. The software only send alerts when something is found that could be a problem. It doesn't send so many that it is annoying. I don't waste my time with your site very often. Today I decided to try again. Your message said to get a credit report, but because I don't have your website memorized, like you do, because you work there and are familiar with it. I went back and finally figured out how to get a new report. Then after waiting several minutes, I started over and got a message that your system didn't work (no wonder I don't bother with Identity Force very often). It said I have to call. My spouse has hit the password change limit and you require us to mail documents in to reset a password. My husband has become so frustrated with the site, he refuses to use it. Question why do I need to risk sending documents via mail to prove identity when mailing is a huge risk. Why can you not work with us via phone with codes to allow him to change his password. Agree with the security, just not the added risk you are asking us to take to change a password.

The passcode that was sent to my phone expired before I could enter it. This was while I was signing up for the service. I didn't realize you were going to send me a code. I thought I was to select a code and enter it. If there had been just a short message to tell me I would receive a code, and enter it in the box below it would have been most helpful. The web page message, "said try again", however, there was not a box to input the code once I saw I had a text message (my phone was on silent so no alert was received.).
Now I just received a text message to sign in. I tried to do that on my phone but it would not allow me to sign in. Could it be due to fact that I am already on your webpage? I am frustrated and nervous about entering all of my personal information on this website. Also, I have 2 addresses and 3 emails that I use. My primary is **. All must be monitored. The lady that called to pitch this service to me said that my email had been compromised but could not give me any details. I would like to know more about this, and how do we make sure I can sign in going forward since I messed up the code piece?

Unable to complete the registration of my credit cards. I tried to follow the prompts/questions. I did get in my checking and savings but I have several credit cards and a credit union that I need to add for monitoring. When I get an alert, there is little information about what the problem might be. I call in and am told to call the possible entity to find out what might be happening. If there is a problem, they tell you they will get back to you in several days. Frustrating to say the least.

I did my best at reading and trying to clearly understand published information regarding identity theft on a number of websites, and then determine if I’m ‘needy’ of such products offered, and whether the cost negatively outweighed perceived need. Once I confirmed to myself that the need warranted investment, I compared as many products as seemed reasonable and necessary. After my choice was made, I proceeded to call and ask some relevant questions.
The agent I spoke with, Kelly, was very polite, very personable, and answered every question with sufficient detail. One specific point to which she spoke was regarding the support from Identity Force upon which I could count in the event of a security breach. She did a most excellent job of explaining the details to which Identity Force is prepared to go, dependent on the nature of the issue. At this point in our conversation, I could say that the cost of the product, to cover my wife and I, made me a bit uncomfortable. But, at that moment, just believing (through her affirmative encouragement) that we would be receiving that kind of support in the event of a breach gave me the confidence to go forward with the application.

I just received my first financial alert that you detected a credit inquiry made using my personal information. I immediately contacted my wife who advised me that she just moments before had authorized a particular company to run a credit inquiry. I felt relieved, but noticed that the information IdentityForce provided as the inquirer, was not the same company that my wife had authorized.
Using the information from IdentityForce, I contacted the company, Credco, who advised that they were just a software provider that other companies use to make credit inquiries, and that they could not provide me with any information, unless I provided my personal identifying information to them, which I refused to do, not knowing who they were. I then logged onto my TransUnion account which provided me with the Credco information, but also who the user of the Credco software was. It turned out to be the company my wife had given authorization to. I was certainly pleased with the speed of the alert. It would been more helpful if you had provided the complete information as to who made the inquiry. Thanks!

I love the service. I think the monitoring is helpful and knowing that I have the identify protection insurance puts my mind at ease (somewhat) about having my identity compromised; however, my one problem is that every time I pay off my credit card (I do this weekly), I get an email when the cash comes out (Checking) and when my credit card gets paid (Credit Card). This is overkill. I would love it if they could identify when a credit card is paid off and not report on that. If someone wants to pay off my credit card, let them. I don't need a notification every time I hit "Submit" to pay off my credit card. This resulted in over-communication and I had to stop looking at the email notifications, so if something really occurred, I would miss it.

I just signed up for Identity Force but had problems completing the personal information. I called for assistance and got a voice message confirming the tel # from which I was calling and was told I would receive a call back. Then was disconnected. 40 minutes later no call back. What kind of service is this? Very tempted to cancel my service after 1 hour.

One of the really irritating things about this service is the fact that it sends registered sex offender alerts (they live in your zipcode) as identity alerts. I don't care about registered sex offenders living in my neighborhood. They've done their time and they're certainly not going mess with me. What I care about is somebody stealing my identity. But I have to keep logging in for what I consider to be bogus identity alerts.

I had placed a freeze on my Equifax account. I lifted the freeze in order to co sign for an auto loan for my son. The bank did a credit check on me today and your system did not alert me. I'm very concerned that I wasted my annual subscription for your services. I would expect ANY credit transactions associated with my identity to be reported immediately. Why was this not done? What am I paying for? I would appreciate a response.

Every single alert, about every single sex offender that I've ever gotten are simply "THE SKY IS FALLING" alarms. These people don't live anywhere near me, their names are nothing like mine and yet for some reason IdentityForce INSISTS on sending me these continuous FALSE ALARMS about the safety of my online data. If/when there is a way to finally TURN OFF Sex Offender Monitoring alerts, then I'll be raising my experience with IdentityForce. Until then, just remember THE SKY IS FALLING!

I was robbed of my passport, credit cards, and driver's license in Barcelona. Called your customer service and asked what their service was in such case and they said "we monitor your data on dark web." Well they didn't even check to see if they had my passport number--they don't. No record whatsoever of the theft on my "dashboard." No help canceling cards. Utterly useless. All you ever send me is sex offender nonsense. So I will NOT update my billing info and you can drop me. USELESS.

It would be five stars, except that the password reset feature does not allow me to view the complex passwords I try to match. This generally means multiple tries and frustrations. I think that it should allow the option. I mean, when I am alone in my house with the doors and windows locked. The risk of being shoulder surfed seems minimal. And if it is for security beyond that, how then is the ability to password peek okay on the login?

The activation process was easy and quick. I was able to send an activation email to my spouse for quick completion. Why the hell do text alerts go out in the middle of the night? Why can’t I set what time a text alert is issued? Why can’t I set a text alert just for a specific warning such as credit card only? When first joining IDF, I was allowed a monthly, free credit score refresh. A couple of years later, they notified me that henceforth I would get only free refresh per year for each bureau. When I complained, they then agreed to allow a free quarterly refresh for each bureau. My concern/question is why not allow for a free monthly update? This service was a big selling point for me; it should be no big deal as the information is readily available and, I continue to be a bit disappointed at this cutback. As an overall product and service, though, I still am very satisfied with IDF.

It's distempered to suggest me to delete the content I produce because your simplistic system expects the whole world to be in English. I just signed up, and it was mostly painless until the very end. You sent me a verification code for my phone. It arrived and I input successfully. However, in the next step where it asks if I would like to receive mobile text messages, I select my number (which is correct and the same number verified seconds before), it populates the field, but there is an error message claiming that I did not select a number, and the save icon is greed out. So whatever you can do to allow notifications to my ** number will be greatly appreciated.

I signed up with a 14 day trial and then a monthly $14.99 account after. When I subscribed, the payment page confirmed that nothing was due at that time and I would not be billed for 14 days. However, 30 minutes later, I noticed that they had charged $14.99 to my credit card. While this amount is not the end of the world, I find it concerning that this is what happened in my first experience with them. It will certainly give me pause when considering whether to continue the service if I am having billing issues on day one.

I have been with this service for several months now and I see no reason to stay with this. So far you have done nothing. When asked about the low scores on my credit rating you stated that is the way you figure them, even though FICO does them completely different. You have given me no useful information on anything and as far as keeping me safe on my computer although you have reported hacking, you have never suggested any way to stop or minimise it. So the the fee I paid you I do not believe you are worth it and I will try to figure a way to cancel.

I have received several alerts throughout the process but received an alert from my Credit Card company about a breach with my email and password on some account my kids play games on but yet have to receive anything from Identify Force and their monitoring cost me nothing???

Love that I can access my credit reports and that they don't hound me with unnecessary emails. Only when and if it's business related. I feel comfortable and safe knowing they have my back.

Called by phone, got the temp password-link, followed the steps, SUCCESS! It only took 5 minutes. Excellent representative. Went back and entered a new password, logged out, logged back in and NO problem. I checked to see who was trying to gain entry into my computer. I got hacked Dec 17, 2017 and lost over $30,000. PNC Bank DID NOT reimburse us for the loss.

I accidentally moved two notifications to the “trash”, but I would like to keep them in the “inbox”. How can I move them from the trash back to the inbox? I also find some of the information confusing and never really know what to do to help myself except to change my password.

It wont let me see my alerts. Just keep asking me questions to authenticate which I do then asks me more questions to authenticate!! What the hell is the deal! I don't need to type 200 character to tell y'all whats wrong either! I just want to view my alerts without all this bull.

I work in SecOps so it's critical I know if my information has been found from service provider or commercial outlet data breach. IdentityForce has been an excellent resource in doing the heavy lifting and research regardless of if a breach is known or not. MFA only goes so far! As I surely know, it's challenging to find new ways to keep up, much less stay ahead, in this chess match. Without IdentityForce, the threat landscape is much more daunting and my finances would be in dire straights right now. I work to re-evaluate what I pay for on a monthly basis to see if my money really works for me. The easiest decision I make is investing in Identity Force as my SecOps Monitoring provider. Last week when I paid my bills I did not receive one alert from your system regarding money being withdrawn from my checking account. I always have received alerts now suddenly the alerts have stopped. If this continues I am going to discontinue your service and go back to LifeLock. When alert stop working that means your system is no longer the working. This should have nothing to do with the holiday traffic. Your system should be able to handle the load.

When I checked the Identity Alert, after Authentication, I was required to authorize Trans Union and all subsidiaries to access information. Uncomfortable with such a blanket authorization, I stopped at this point. So I don't know what risks I may be at.

I've dealt with similar products. And, the information IdentifyForce requests for the Lost Wallet service just doesn't seem sufficient. For instance, other products ask for the name on the card. This is handy because my name appears differently on different cards. There is also no field for expiration date or for notes (which is a nice place to list the international number for lost card). Also, it would be nice if there was a field asking whether it was a credit card, debit card, store card, etc. Attached are 2 screenshots from another product.

Someone tried to apply for a credit card using my identity. I use two other identity check companies and both of them alerted me within one day that a credit check had been initiated. Four days have passed since then and haven't gotten any alerts from IdentityForce, but I did get a Christmas greeting. What's funny is that the other two services are provided free and I pay yours $19 a month. I will be canceling my service.

I appreciate you being precise, and doing your job about monitoring my credit, credit cards, bank account, but contacting me and sending alert at 3:20 am to tell me I have a credit bureau alert is too much. I tried going back to sleep but I got worried, and had to check it out. Please try to be more considerate when sending just a credit alert bureau that I received back in October 2019, not at 3am, sure hope you are on top of my information, if I really get hacked.

I have delinquent accounts and other things that have impacted my credit rating but none of these details are reflected on this tool. None of the credit services are reflecting their actual credit rating. I haven't actually used this service due to these results.

The site provides prompt and accurate alerts of activity in accounts that have been registered. Easy to set the limits that trigger alerts. The only shortcoming is that only ten credit cards can be registered for monitoring. If there is a need to contact customer service, there is little hold time and the representatives are very responsive.

How do you monitor the family when no information is required for family members to monitor? Only asked for drivers license and SSN from primary account owner. What about the rest of the family??? How are they monitored without knowing their information??

PRO: This program does what it is supposed to do. The user interface is "clean" and easy to use. There are no pop ups to distract the user or take up real estate. CON: There are few cancel or back functions. I had inadvertently deleted on monitored subject and could not find a way to retrieve the function.

I use this mainly because it promises restoration support and insurance. I like that I get notification when any of my email or passwords are found in the dark web. The platform has some bugs like I keep getting email telling me that my new credit score is ready but when I go in to the dashboard it says it's not available for another few months. There is no way to manage your subscription from your online profile which is strange. You need to call the sales department if you have questions about your subscription or if you want to change your credit card. Also, another free credit monitoring services (Credit Karma) sends credit changes alerts much faster than identity Force and that worries me. I do have to say that so far, any time I have contacted customer support they have been helpful. I hope I never need the restoration or insurance service but if I do, I hope they deliver what they promised.

Have a question about a recent alert sent today. Please have a representative call me back asap. I’m very happy with the service I have received from the IdentityForce Program I have. I am always alerted to the multiple issues that are privy to our identity and will continue to keep the program well after my previous Security Company expires their part of the plan.
