My husband and I used Homebridge to secure a 30 yr FHA mortgage when we purchased our first home and are now interested in using their services to refinance. The home is a perfect place to raise our twin daughters. The process can be complicated, but our loan officer did an excellent job and helped us feel at ease from beginning to end. I recommend Homebridge to all my friends and family.

I’ll keep this short to make it worth reading. Prospect has been terrible. Their rep was difficult to get a hold of and sluggish to move forward without prodding. He made us miss the listed closing date and potentially lose the purchase. Once he finally got the inspection, he failed to get me the closing numbers. Even the day of closing, (which he delayed to Dec 23, because finding moving help is so simple over Christmas) he never got me the closing costs until at the signing. I then had to drive to the closest bank to get the check and return to finish the deal. Just after closing we changed insurance companies and come to find out months later he never did the paperwork because he quit two weeks after closing and Priority dropped the ball. So, because of the forced escrow that didn’t pay, my insurance was dropped completely on the house.

I was looking online for houses and trying to see if I could get approved for a loan. Prospect reached out to me, and I got an FHA loan from them. The application was easy, and the loan officer was very helpful. I was trying to find a house to purchase that fit the loan. My experience with them was great.

I went to one mortgage company and I was not pleased with what they offered. I called my realtor, who was also my landlord for three and a half years, and he gave Prospect Mortgage as a recommendation. I had the FHA loan program and I was very pleased. My realtor recommended a few different names, but Jennifer, one of their reps, was on top of the list. I had a fantastic experience with her. She was absolutely amazing. She was excellent in communication and responded back quickly. Jennifer was professional and made me very comfortable. She was helpful, friendly, and very thorough. She stayed on top of everything and made it work. I’ve already recommended her to several people.

We needed a loan to purchase a home and our agent, who is phenomenal and has a great network of trustworthy vendors, recommended Prospect. It is his trusted mortgage vendor. We went with a conventional 30-year fixed loan and the application process was very good, refined and easy. It's our seventh transaction with them, and they have a great online platform, very intuitive and I can use the e-signature so everything went very smoothly. Their reps always notify me if there is something I needed to sign. I also had a very good experience with their loan officer who was extremely knowledgeable.

We were looking at houses and through our realtor, Lee, we learned about Prospect Mortgage. He said that it was good to work with them so we did. We worked with Julie ** from Prospect Mortgage. They asked for a lot of information and were very detailed. They asked about our job, debt, investments, and banking, as well as other information that we needed to add. They continued to keep in contact with us and looked for VA certification information. It seemed like a lot but it was the information that they needed, so we provided them. It was tedious as every time we turned around there was something else that we needed to provide. But in the end, it worked out.

After several unexpected expenses, and maxing out all of our credit cards... everything became extremely stressful and overwhelming. Joseph ** helped me find the best solution for my family, and refinanced our home. He was patient and worked with me over several months, till we found the best choice. I have a hectic work schedule and he was always available day or night to assist me and answer my questions. Summer ** also was amazing, and when I was unable to make the necessary phone calls, she went above and beyond to help with everything. I've heard many horror stories about refinancing and all the hidden fees, and my experience with Prospect Mortgage was everything I could of hoped for. I feel a huge burden has been lifted. We paid off $25,000 in debt, no longer have to pay the month MPI, and we have a lower interest rate! Life is Good!

Our lease was coming up at our rental and we really wanted to buy a house. It was our first time buying one. We were working with Mac and we had a really bad experience with them. Then a friend that used Prospect Mortgage through buying a home gave me the info about them. We got the VA home loan from them and the process was fast and easy. They worked with us on everything we needed to get in. There were a couple of things we had to get in last minute but other than that, everything worked out great. Jennifer, the loan officer, was amazing. She texted and called and when she hadn’t heard from us for a while. She wanted to make sure everything was going good and if we had any questions. It was nice to have somebody check up on us even though there wasn’t much going on during the waiting process.

HomeBridge is the WORST experience I've ever had with lenders. I thought Best Buy's credit company was bad... No, HomeBridge takes the cake on this. Getting the mortgage was painful in every possible way. The underwriters were demanding and made us jump through more hoops than I can count. Every little detail they complained about. They demanded things that were impossible. Finally the mortgage went through -- they double charged me one month and refused to return the money they over charged. At the very least they applied it to the following month.

Prospect Mortgage was simple and easy. It’s the one that the realtor offered to me and I realized that I had previously done a mortgage with them so I decided to get them again. I’ve had several homes and I just went with the standard mortgage program. The loan officer was great. She was quick and knew what she was doing. She handled everything. My satisfaction on the experience was more on the broker than anything else.

My mom referred me to Prospect Mortgage. I wanted to get pre-approved for a house and availed their First-time Buyer loan program. The loan officer was great and ab;e to answer a lot of my questions readily. Since it was my first time, getting all the documents was very fragmented. It wasn't all at one time so that was very frustrating. I almost backed out of the deal completely multiple times, because I felt like one day it would be an email about needing this, and the next day it would be a different email that was needing more. There were multiple people involved that sometimes information got missed and I had to keep providing documents that I already provided. I don't know how it is normally but they were very responsive to emails and respond fast.

I've had a wonderful experience with Prospect Mortgage. During my application, they sent me an email or phone call of what they need. They gave me the time I needed and I gave them what they need as quick as I can and everything worked out great. They’re very nice and very knowledgeable. Tyler and his crew were very good, easy to deal with and did a wonderful job. They’re very responsive to emails and telephone calls. They were able to answer my questions and if not, they can get it and get back to me.

Aaron was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. When there were bumps he made it sure to help get through them. He was also very cooperative and available whenever I had questions. This is our second time doing our mortgage with Aaron and we would definitely work with him again!

Prospect had experience in dealing with HFA, one of the downpayment assistance programs I use. I went with their First-Time Home Buyer loan program and it was the FHA loan as well. The loan officers were courteous. Application was a long task - a lot of work and a lot of information together - but Prospect prepared me for it. At the same time, we were also working with another program which held us up, but the Prospect people were very patient, helpful and informative. It was an amazing experience.

My realtor was looking for someone that she felt could get me pre-qualified in a timely manner so I chose Prospect Mortgage. The application process was easy but there was one little glitch with the online passcode. However, they were professional and accommodating. They met me on a holiday with no problem. Applied for home equity loan at SunWest Federal Credit Union on February 9, 2016 and was declined because there was no record of us owning a house on our credit report. I called HomeBridge on the 9th and was told that they would fix by end of week. I waited another week and checked with Experian and was told not on the report. I called HomeBridge a second time and was told they had sixty days to put on report and that report will be updated by the end of the month. On the second of March I again applied for the home equity loan and again was turned down because HomeBridge still had not put anything on credit report to state that we were paying for this house for 1 whole year. I think HomeBridge should go to customer service school.

When I was closing on my house, I was referred to a representative from Prospect. I got the VA loan program, and the application process was long, which I kind of expected. But it was thorough and I was led along the way. Everything was clearly explained to me so it was a good process. I'm happy to get accepted and enter my home. They provided excellent service.

This company financed my home in nc and the loan officer falsified information on my application and changed numbers, inflated appraisal, frauded the government and now Im in a house more than worth the value and payments thats hard for me to make. Once I closed they sold my mortgage to chase. It was about 9 defendants in this fraud scam. Lots of people lost their homes but I struggle to keep roof over my head. So what this company going to do to help us? I hate the day I ever spoke to someone from this company. Made my life stressful! For a first-time home buyer.

Everything so far with Prospect is great. I already bought another place with them a couple of years ago. I have a good real estate agent and he's the one who does all the dealing and wheeling so I hardly had to get involved with them.

I found out about Prospect through a realtor and he said they were good. The loan program I got from Prospect was first time home buyer, FHA. Everybody there was wonderful when it came to the process. They made it easy. I'm very satisfied, overall.

Prospect Mortgage was recommended to me by a real estate broker and it's convenient so I went with them. I did two loans through them. What was helpful was they had an electronic database where you could upload documents that they can access rather than having to fax or email documents directly back and forth during the application process. They were very responsive to questions too and handled all of the communications with the loan officer to the extent that there were follow-up questions by the officer and everything still went through Prospect. Overall, I'm pleased.

Prospect Mortgage repeatedly called us and left messages. I called them back to tell them to stop calling but one of their guys convinced us to go with them. It was fairly easy to apply. We didn't have to give them any information but they had difficulty getting information from our previous lender so the process took a little bit longer. We didn't get what we were promised which is part of the reason that I called Prospect back. Unfortunately, that's been our experience with almost every lender we've had.

Michael ** did a great job of managing our refi. He took care of all the details, was patient when there were delays or issues, and handles any issues that came up without making us get too involved. It was an easy process and I appreciate all his help.

We had a few issues for quite some time with Prospect Mortgage. Somebody wasn't answering my loan officer. They kept asking for certain paperwork and we keep sending it to them and they're getting nothing on the other end. They would turn back around and ask for the same document. My loan officer did everything she could above and beyond in my eyes to get what we had to get done and we were just sitting there waiting. But the next step wasn't her. It was Protect Mortgage. We kept trying to get the loan closed to go forward with it. Buying a house isn't easy and everybody I talked to agree but when I tell them how long I was in the process of doing so, they would say "Why would it take that long?"

Everyone I spoke with under the Prospect umbrella was very professional and thorough. All commitments and promises were kept. They remained in contact and kept me up to speed regarding the status of the process. Great customer service with a personal touch. My lending agent showed genuine concern and was always engaging, motivating as well as encouraging. I intend to continue to do business with Prospect for any and all future mortgage financial needs.

I've bought other houses in the past, originally working with USAA, and it was convoluted, they're condescending and treated you like a criminal. They were unable to satisfy my needs so I asked my realtor for a recommendation, and he endorsed Prospect. There were a few hiccups in the application process due to the new regulations put into effect October first because of the Dodd-Frank provisions, but other than that, it was smooth and efficient. They were very easy to work with. My female loan officer was fantastic. It has been an open, honest and straightforward experience with Prospect.

I cannot say enough about the team. They were willing to answer any questions I had, were willing to meet my schedule as to when certain parts of the process could be done, completed the necessary parts of the process according to my specifications but within the time frames and protocols that they needed to meet. And most of all made me comfortable during the entire process in the respect that thorough information was given so that I felt that I could make an informed decision that was best for me. They helped me at a time when I was discouraged about refinancing as a result of a prior poor experience when trying to refinance my home with another mortgage entity. All of the people that were involved in my refinancing with the Prospect team were professional and caring, which was a combination that I needed to feel confident in going ahead with the process. Problems from the beginning until the end. Loan officer was great until I signed a contract to purchase a home. Once I was locked in and on a deadline, the problems started. I was told in writing that Prospect did not offer a 15-year renovation mortgage. They did, but I had to push. I should have cut ties then and started over with a new lender, but I didn't. Then told in writing that loan officer got to pick my HUD consultant. Should have pushed back on that, but didn't. Paid big down the line for that decisions.

Prospect got the job done ad I recommend them.

I used Prospect Mortgage before in 2012 and it was a good experience. Their application process wasn't difficult and their loan officer was courteous and very good. I had a conventional loan and the credit was a bit tricky, but they were caring and patient explaining to me. Everything went fine so I'm satisfied with it.

We were at the time under bankruptcy and one of the realtors was familiar with Prospect Mortgage, so we went with them. It was a smooth transition during the application process at Prospect. We hit a few snags but we worked through them, though it took a little while to do so. It was no fault of theirs, but basically I got the information for myself. I'll use them again if I have to, but I'm hoping I don't have to use them again at my age. Overall, I'm pleased with Prospect and I would recommend them to a friend.

I went to a workshop put on by HUD and the person putting on the workshop knew about Prospect Mortgage. We had been looking into buying a house and we thought it was time to take the next step. We did an FHA with Prospect and worked with Tracy who was fantastic. I'd heard horror stories about what the process was going to be like, how long it was going to take and how frustrating it might be. But it was absolutely nothing like that because of Tracy. She let us know what was going on, what was going to happen and what we would need. It was a pleasant experience because of her.

Glenn ** is an absolutely outstanding loan officer. We have previous mortgage application experience but Glenn was referred to us by our real estate agent and his level of service was phenomenal. Glenn was extremely prompt in all of his replies and document processing, often working with us late at night and on weekends and even from his hospital bed! Glenn never once failed to offer to explain any aspect of the process or answer any of our questions. He always took time to carefully explain options and rationale and was patient and courteous. I would highly recommend Glenn to anyone I know who is looking for a loan.

I wanted a house so I went for a USDA Rural Development loan. I was directed to Prospect Mortgage by my sister. It was my first and only time ever buying a house, and the application process was somewhere between good and neutral. There was a ton of paperwork, and waiting and hoping you hear good news. Also, sometimes it felt a little archaic that I had to download documents, sign them by hand and then either scan and email them back or fax them back. And at that time, I didn't have at-home access or at-work access to either of those options plus that felt a little redundant since I had set up a digital signing of documents.

I would not recommend this mortgage company to anyone!! Horrible horrible horrible service. Told me I was going to close Dec 15th! 5 days before I was supposed to close they tell me there is 2 different people involved with my loan and they now need all the same paperwork again! Asked 3 weeks ago if they need anyone's more paperwork and they said they had all they needed from me! Now they cost me another 1400 bucks and they could care less!!

I decided to move out and I wanted to get into a loan. My cousins used Prospect Mortgage and recommended a specific loan officer, Michael, from that company. I went to him and liked him too so I stuck with Prospect. The application process was fairly easy and very quick for me. I'm a new homeowner so I had a lot of questions and they were always very good and available to answer any of my questions. They were very good in addressing instances where I had missing paperwork. I also spoke a lot with Christine on the phone and she was very helpful. She returned all of my phone calls and emails.

Main reason I allowed them to work with me is I was having a hard time finding a company that offered 203k loans (a specialty loan to purchase a rehab). After I spoke with him, he convinced me that he knew what he was talking about and sent me some helpful materials. However, over the next 2 weeks, he already showed he wasn't very responsive.

I was told I would close on a certain date so I planned to be out of my current living situation then. They kept saying "you'll close _____ date", then a day would pass and it would be "oh there's a delay on our end so you'll close _____ date". As I write this I'm still waiting for my disclosure paperwork. Hope I move in before 2016. If I had known it would be like this I would have never gone with Prospect. I DON'T recommend this mortgage company.

It was not a very good experience to do closing with Prospect Mortgage. I lost around $1200.00 in closing because of attorney used by Prospect Mortgage.

Just refinanced and they went over each of the steps and kept me appraised of everything that was happening.

Overall great experience working with Bobby ** and his team at Prospect Mortgage! Bobby was always responsive to my sometimes anxious emails regarding close date and various questions. Our close date was pushed back a few weeks from what we initially anticipated due to implementation of the Ocean State Grad Grant I was able to take advantage of. As I understand it, the grant was rolled out to the public before any company actually had a system in place to use it. It seems that it was out of Prospect Mortgage's control as to how long that would take.

I love Dana and Julie. They have always done a great job for me... This last closing with TRID was a hard one but of course they came thru and got me a great rate!!! And minimal about closing cost. I love them!! Recommend them 10 fold!!!

We were purchasing a home and putting 30% down. We have excellent credit (by rating not just opinion). When the process started, they said no problem to match the closing date. 6 weeks later, they said they couldn't do it. They refused to commit to a closing date. We had to push back our exit from the house we sold. They knew the date we needed to be out and yet they would never commit. Michael & Kevin were the worst. They came back after three plus weeks and said they needed all new pay stubs. They questioned a credit card with a $14.97 balance. It became absolutely ridiculous. Everyday there was some other question or more demands. Ended up terminating our relationship with them. Passed on the house. Lost money in the process but learned a lesson that we would never use or recommended HomeBridge to anyone.

A family friend recommended Prospect Mortgage and I am happy with them. The application process was very good, the entire team was very helpful and we communicated very clearly along the way. Also, the loan officer was always able to quickly answer my questions.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!! Where to start? Our very dear friends are moving home from Saudi and are trying to purchase a home and are having the worst experience with this company!! They've turned in ALL required paperwork plus some and are still being played off! The ONLY response they receive is "They're working on it", every single time! The closing date has changed every week for the past 2 months with only an email requesting more documents that they've already turned in!! Really??? Now the builder is ending the contract because they are NOT able to close. What company operates this way? They should be ashamed of themselves! Karma!

Application was very easy. They sent the application to me and I filled it out. I heard about them from a friend and I wanted to give it a try because I’m with US Bank before and I just want to get something different and try and see who had a better deal. Prospect made it very quick and easy. We went for a home loan with them and bought a house for rental and I would recommend our loan officer to anyone. He is excellent and is very prompt. He even worked on the weekend. In addition, when I sent them an email they sent it right away. I appreciate that they go above and beyond making sure we got the loan. Overall, the experience was good.

We're buying a house so we got the FHA loan program from Prospect Mortgage. The agent that we used was Redfin and he trusted them. The application process was great. They were very helpful, informative, got us involved, and let us know what was going on. The first household we're looking at needed a 203(k) loan. I went on the internet and Prospect Mortgage was the first one that came up. The application process was awesome and the loan officer was the best ever.

My broker had an experience with a loan officer named Indu at Prospect Mortgage and had a great experience, so I also started working with her and I’ve never looked anywhere else. I went with the conventional 15-year home residential loan and the application process was a very good experience. They tried to save my old information, used whatever can be used, and just asked me for whatever is needed fresh. When somebody else had filed for my IRS and they were done on my social number and it seemed they were not able to exactly match the tax returns last year with what I submitted, they’re able to find the solution based on all my filed information. There seems to be very good cooperation. However, the company should avoid asking redundant documents from the customer. But other than that, everything’s good. Indu’s just awesome and I’ve been very happy.

I got Prospect Mortgage's FHA loan and the experience was smooth. There weren't too many questions to answer and all the information was presented to us right up front. Their representative worked with our agent and made the process absolutely smooth and streamlined. She made the closing process even easier working with the title company. She controlled everything from start to finish and we had not one bump on the road. For first-time home buyers, this is the company to go with.

The process was a little bit longer than expected because we had an issue and then I had to deal with it by myself. My loan officer was okay, but he told me that I may have 60 days before my first payment because it was a 203k program, but I was surprised that I had to pay right away my first month. The problem is my home is under renovation right now and I have 45-60 days to go live there, and the guy in the renovation department said they're going to pay the first month. I’m not sure.

I started a refinance with Prospect Mortgage. And shortly after starting the refinance, I was laid off. I told the loan officer that I was not comfortable going forward with this new loan because I was unemployed. This didn't seem to matter to the loan and kept moving forward with the refinance. I tried calling many times but never able to get a hold of him. I called 3x on 10/1, 2x on 9/30, 3x on 9/29... I normally would not call that often, but he was not communicating with me. I feel like this was the loan officers refinance not mine.

I had a loan set up but my realtor didn't think that I could get it approved because it needed some fixing up. I looked at 203k loans and Prospect Mortgage came up. It was, however, frustrating because they wouldn't communicate a lot. They didn't even ask how much I want to put down which I thought was rude. I was going through Quicken Loans and they were nice and get you up-to-date.

I had a lender that couldn't find anybody who loaned for prefab houses or modulars, so I switched to Prospect because they were able to find me one. The application process wasn't very smooth and easy, but I liked their customer service more than what I was getting at the other place. Loan officer Jen was very personable, friendly and thorough. If there was a change or there was something different, she got a hold of me right away and kept me up to date on everything. It’s got a lot to do with her and just her staying on top of things. We had a bad experience with Prospect Mortgage. We have never experienced buying a home before. We've had an FHA loan and we experienced multiple closings, delays, and foreclosing. It was just horrible.

My husband and I are currently working to sell our home and buy a new one, contingent on the sale of our current home. Contracts were signed and a closing date of September 29, 2015 was set. We found out at 5:30pm on the 28th that the lender for our buyers (Prospect) had not gotten the documents over to the Title Company. Because it was after business hours, we could not try to find out what was happening until the morning of the 29th. My mother in law (our realtor) had been in contact with the buyer's realtor, who had been in contact with the lender, and assured us everything was great, and that we would probably even be able to close early.

I sold my home the end of July, the buyers are financing through Prospect Mortgage. The officer is D'ana **. It is Sept 29th and they still do not have loan docs available to send to title company so that we can close. Only one time have I received a call back when a message was left since the start of this process. She is horrible at returning calls; communicating with the realtors, the buyers, and the sellers. I'm getting all kinds of excuses. Can't reach the underwriter. I had special training I had to attend and then of course apologies.

These guys are completely incompetent. They mishandled my loan through 3 extensions and the loss of my $1000 deposit. The only guys that knew what he was doing was the regional manager from Kansas City. I hope every real estate company in Fort Worth discontinues using them. I for one, will never use them again.

My overall experience with Prospect Mortgage was great. I’d recommend them.

I would like others to know how this company has affected me and my family. Due to the lack of competency from Prospect Mortgage's staff my family and I are having to relocate for the 2nd time. I put my house on the market and my buyer used this company for their pre approval and they were pre approved with no problems as I was told. On 6/10/15 we signed the contract and we were set to close for 7/28. Based on this date I had already moved my family out of the home awaiting the build of my new home. Days before the closing date set for 7/28 I was told we had to wait for more documents to be produced. I was told I had to wait till 9/15 for these documents to be produced. My new closing date was set for 9/17 at the latest. One day prior to this close date I was then told the buyer was no longer qualified for the loan and needed a co-borrower. The buyer obtained a co-borrower and I was given another close date of 9/25.

We got an FHA loan with Prospect Mortgage and it was a very easy and smooth process. Our loan officer was good and knowledgeable and we loved her quirkiness. It was a very pleasant experience.

Prospect Mortgage was who my real estate guy went through and he’s a family friend, so I talked to them. But once I’ve dealt with them, I liked everything so I stayed. I went with the FHA program and the application process was pretty easy. I had great communication with my loan officer, Amy. She's great, very available and helpful, and told me exactly what I needed - if there's any question, she knew immediately. My experience with them was great especially for a first-time home buyer, not knowing what I would get into.

Prospect Mortgage offers great rates and service so I had them refinanced my property. Everything was great with them and I'd recommend them.

We were in escrow on a house and Bank of America promised us a loan and then failed to deliver, so we looked for another lender. We talked to a friend who told us about Brian Minkow from Prospect. I’d never heard of Prospect but I called Brian and within a week he secured us a loan. It was incredible. I had a significant distrust with the loan application process because of my experience with Bank of America but Brian’s team was very confident and they told us not to worry and, "We’re going to get this done. We’re going to get this funded. Everything’s going to go great." In retrospect, they were exactly right. The only thing that made it difficult at the time is not knowing and not being able to be told a hundred percent that we'll get the loan. In the end, Prospect was able to show up with the check and I was so happy. It was a very difficult and nail-biting experience but Prospect got the job done and it was an excellent experience, and I recommend them.

I first learned about Prospect through a first-time home buyers class. The main reason I chose it over another lender is because of regulatory reasons. Based on my research, there's so much scrutiny with the underwriters in big financial institutions and I wanted to move fast on it. And usually other lenders seemed to be easier to go through, plus, just the expertise of Paul, the gentleman who was conducting the class, the mortgage officer. He was very knowledgeable and so having that experience with him, I was comfortable in going to him, cause he seemed to know what he was talking about. I would definitely recommend Prospect to a friend. Their people are friendly, fast and they get things done.
