I never thought that I would be able to purchase a home. I will tell you this man did everything he could to get me into this house. I'm 55 years old and this is the first time that I have ever purchased a home. Chris was very kind. Each and every time I called him he listen to me and he would tell me not to worry that we were going to get this thing done. It's the best feeling being a homeowner. Chris and everyone that he worked with not only were professional but I really feel like those people cared about me. I don't know if I will have an opportunity to buy another house but if I do I'm calling Homebridge and I especially want Chris to help. Chris, I haven't been able to get in touch with you since I moved in but you are my friend every day and I thank God for this chance to live like most Americans in my own home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I needed a refinance to take my ex-husband off the loan. So my brother and sister-in-law told me about Brian of Homebridge Financial Services. They recommended the company, so I signed up for their 30-year loan program. The experience was fine although I was expecting the worst because it had been a long time since I had refinanced or even did a mortgage. Homebridge made the application very easy. The only frustrating thing was they would ask for a certain document and I would give it to them and they would ask for more documents. I just felt that instead of asking for everything they needed at once, I just had to keep getting more and more documents. Also, the loan was more expensive than I was quoted. But other than that, the application was quick.

Homebridge was working with my realtor on this condo complex. The application process for my FHA loan program was good and easy. The loan rep was responsive. When I called him, he called back and was friendly and informative. Overall, I had a very favorable experience and I would use Homebridge again in the future.

Homebridge Financial Services is the best company I've ever worked with. A friend that had used them recommended them. I went with their conventional loan to purchase a home. The application process was excellent all the way through. Our agent was so professional and his team was amazing. They did follow up to make sure everything was satisfactory. Normally, it doesn't work that way, especially with the home loan. There was a lot of papers and underwriters. I had a lot of different expectations and there were always last minute things. But, everything worked out. Also, the execution was amazing. They had to intervene with the realtor who was quite inexperienced. John, our agent, guided him back in line. It wasn't his job description but these things are time-sensitive especially when you put a date on it because it would change everything when they don't follow the plan. All in all, I had the best experience in my life with Homebridge.

There were payroll issues and different things with my work when they tried to verify my employment but it all worked itself out in the end. He then called me and said that the application was accepted and we were both happy about that. That’s why I recommend everybody HomeBridge with Joe. They have an easy application process and I had an excellent experience. The closing was nice and easy, too. I was looking to do a refinance and thought I could get a better rate with HomeBridge than the way it has been quoted by another mortgage company. A friend of mine recommended me to a HomeBridge agent. I got to work with Brian and he was very helpful. We got started right away and he let us go at a short time frame because I was looking to dip another house I owned in Arizona and I wanted a different refinance before I started that project. Brian got the information very quickly, got the appraisal done and then he did the hand over. I also worked with another agent and she was fantastic. She kept me informed the whole way and really handled a lot of the backend documentation. They definitely got the job done quickly. I’ve refinanced and bought several homes in the past and it’s probably one of the easiest process I’ve been through. I’d recommend HomeBridge.

I recently completed funding of home purchase loan from Homebridge shortly after their acquisition of Prospect Mortgage. The local Calabasas CA team was absolutely outstanding in every aspect from initial phone contact through to funding. Their approach is very proactive in anticipating underwriting conditions and making sure that all borrower documents are kept current and all letters of explanation are in place. We have gotten loans on various properties for many years and I have never had such an uneventful and low stress experience with something inherently complicated. The team built a strong sense of trust and followed through on every commitment. I have no hesitation in actively recommending them to others.

The Homebridge team was very thorough and timely in getting my home loan approved. Their customer service was impeccable. Their efficiency in getting documents signed made the process easier than previous experiences. They were very informative and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them in the future.

We preferred not to pay cash for the house so we’ve decided to take a mortgage. The realtor gave us a couple of names and we checked out those companies and our own bank. Homebridge Financial, which was Prospect Mortgage then, ended up being the most willing to work with us. It had the best terms so we went with them. Their application process was easy and their agent was real good with answering any questions. We’d call him and he’d call right back or else, we’d email him. He’s upfront and was good with us. Also, he delivered what he promised.

Homebridge purchased Prospect and this showed up unexpectedly on some of the paperwork when we were buying a house for the first time. We were really gullible then and we trusted our real estate agent. But it was a real pain because, during the whole process, we had to upload 50 different documents. They kept saying that was everything but then they asked for more, so it was not easy at all. It went on for weeks until we finally said we were not giving them any more documents. And the loan officers were not very communicative too.

Morgan and her team were excellent providing great service, transparency, and support throughout the entire process. I have bought and sold many homes with various lenders but Morgan ** was by far the best I have worked with in 20 years. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking home financing in Maine.

I went on Zillow to search for a home in Albuquerque. When I found the one I wanted, my real estate broker took care of finding the mortgage broker, Walt. They got in contact with me and those people at Prospect were really good. The enrollment process was very easy too. Walt couldn’t have been any nicer and he was very easy to get in touch with. I could pick up the phone, go online, and send him a message and there were no problems. If anybody is looking for somebody that’s easy to work with and knows his business, it’s Walt. So far, I’m just waiting to be given the paperwork for my first mortgage payment.

Wendy ** with Prospect Mortgage approved a buyer. She was rude to all people involved. She knew there was a problem and told the agent "not to tell" then finally did 2 days before closing and ruined 3 families dreams! She says she is experienced? People should not use this company or this agent!

Prospect Mortgage was great and very helpful. The lender that I've dealt with was so pleasant. She went over and beyond and if she didn't know about some stuff I wasn't sure of, she would find it out for me and would let me know through email.

The loan officer from Prospect Mortgage was also my professor when I went to college and as a teacher, he was the best one so I thought that they're gonna be the best one as well. He kept in touch with me on everything and I would recommend everybody to go to him. Everything was fast and perfect, so I'm satisfied.

I would rate my entire experience with Prospect as Five Star except for the appraisal. Every house on his list of comparisons was on a busy street (Patterson, Cambridge, etc.) except for one. That one was sold for $200,000 more than the others because buyers consider quiet street to be more desirable - dah! (child safety, quietness, traffic, etc.). I'm appalled that Prospect would not blackball this appraiser as I'm sure you have many choices. Keep up the good work in all other areas.

I have a mortgage, unfortunately, with this company that I can only say is the most ignorant, incompetent people I ever spoke with. Chanel ** sounds as if she's not even graduated high school - nasty, incompetent, belligerent and to be quite honest with the most unprofessional person I've ever spoken to. This pretty much goes along with the rest of the staff. My mortgage is 1853 this month. They had the balls to tell me this month it's 2900 a month. WHEN CALLING TO FIND OUT WHO LOST THEIR MIND, THIS NASTY INCOMPETENT ** nothing but condescending. That is good that I live 10 hours away from her or I guarantee I'd be in jail for a homicide. I now had to call my attorney and get my attorney involved with this situation. Stay away from this incompetent company and the most nastiest ignorant customer service you ever deal with.

My experience with Prospect Mortgage was good. I got a conventional loan from them, but there was a problem when we did the closing. It was an error on the part of Prospect Mortgage. One of the ladies entered a different number. As opposed to calculating three months, she calculated it for two months, which made the closing cost change the last minute and I wasn’t told about it ahead of time. That created an issue. Now, I have to pay $900 more. That was an unexpected expense that I wasn’t really aware of.

The application process with Prospect Mortgage was pretty easy. We've done most of it all through the computer and they brought down to us to the house when we went through it and we signed the papers. The loan officer was also very courteous. I don't know whose responsibility it was with the home warranty but we were told that they were putting the basic plan on there and they said it covers the big things. And that's all we need. But we were also told it was way too expensive to get the best one. When I got the policy, I looked at it. It was only $220 more for the most expensive one. So I called them up and complained about it and got it switched over. Also, the inspectors didn't really check the house that good enough, 'cause we found quite a few problems with it.

Prospect Mortgage Gave all of my information to a man that my mom was dating/boyfriend. I was trying to help my mother get a home and was going to co-sign for her. One of the loan officers (Christy **) gave all of my information to the man that my mom was dating/boyfriend. He then took that information and tried to get a car, credit cards, and loans using my identity. He was a known felon for identity theft. My credit is now messed up because of her giving my information out to this man. To anyone looking to get a loan/mortgage or anything else from this company, I would not advise you to do so.

The application process with Prospect Mortgage was fine except that I didn't feel like I was given the amount of paperwork that was required with the new laws ahead of time. That was the only hiccup but they got it taken care of over time.

I send my payments out every first of the month, the check is never cashed in a timely manner, always attempting to make me late. Who are these numb nuts that are running this business. It costs me 30 dollars to stop payment, so my credit work get hurt, my time out of my busy schedule to do this with the bank, call in a payment. I want out of Homebridge Financial Co. This is not the first time, second or third time. I am done. Wait... They call me each time and say I need to make a payment. I think the Better Business Bureau needs to take a look at this agency...

Someone that I was working with at a previous mortgage company left and went to Prospect. So, I stayed with their broker. I got a conventional loan program from them. The application process was easy. The loan representative has been very good. I’d recommend them.

My wife and I found the home of our dreams and wanted to buy it and renovate it to our liking as it was VERY outdated. We started the process with our local office in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and a fellow named John **. At first he was a real gem, in the rough, but a real confidant, and knowledgeable. As the process started to gather steam, we were asked to provide the usual documentation and then some, but figured that since HUD was involved, that explained a lot, to me, anyway. We were told that we had to pick an "approved" 203k contractor, do walkthroughs with him or her, (this turned out to NOT be true) submit bids, etc. 3 of the 3 contractors we were given were arrogant, uninterested, and poor at returning phone calls.

We have had nothing but trouble since the day we signed them up as our mortgage provider for our condo. We have had problems with our bills not getting paid out of our escrow account that we didn't want in the first place. So far, our taxes were not paid on time and we just got a notice of cancellation from MetLife for our insurance bill. We are very upset. Taking this to my lawyer first thing in the morning.

Where to begin with this lender from pure h*ll? I had a perfect payment history on my credit report for YEARS until this company purchased my mortgage. I did not purposefully apply here. My loan was transferred and ever since it's been a true nightmare. They WON'T work with you in a day and age where people are foreclosing at rapid rates. If you call and request an extension of A WEEK they deny it. They DON'T offer to slip a payment during unforeseeable circumstances like a job change that then triggers a change in pay dates. They do NOTHING but report you LATE for being a DAY LATE. They won't even note their system or return calls or emails.

I was so impressed with the first visit with the rep of Prospect Mortgage, so I didn't even care to look any further and went with them. It was awesome during the application process. It wasn't difficult at all. Everything went very well with my loan officer. The first payment for my mortgage is due on November 1st.

I talked to Terry at the time by phone and she got it into motion. There was a lot of paperwork, searching and digging. Still, Terry was great, a nice lady, and I loved her. Everything was on the up and up. When we went to sign the closing papers, she was there and brought us a little gift. Overall, they were a pleasure to deal with and we’re very satisfied.

I've got car loans but I have never had anybody to work with me like that. I thought it wasn’t going to go through ‘cause it had to do with things on my credit but she never gave up on me.

This company reached out to us to give us a lower APR on our home, 30 years fixed. We began the initial process of refinance, and sent in all documents needed. We were told all was well and the escrow had begun, well that was a lie. They called my wife 3 times for verification of the same exact items with our current financier. If you get a flier from them or you hear this companies name, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE! Do yourself a favor, call Freedom Mortgage. This company is an absolute failure, drops the ball and literally will leave you hanging.

Homebridge was recommended by someone at my office when we decided to refinance our home. We had purchased our house in 2004 and had not adjusted our rates at all. My wife first spoke to Cassie and over a period of a week we also worked with Taylor. Both ladies were professional and quick to respond to our questions and calls. Even though the appraiser we initially contracted fell through, Cassie was able to recommend someone local to us. The process was quick and the ladies at Homebridge were professional in every way. We ended up saving $210 a month on our payments.

I’ve relocated, I’m retired and I’d seen a house down in Alabama I wanted to buy. I was looking in a magazine with different people for mortgage and saw the picture of one lady from Prospect who looked like she would really succeed. A broker recommended somebody else but I said I'm going with Prospect because I like the lady’s picture and I have never seen her yet. So I called her and she got right back to me and explained the whole procedure, that she would do the best she can, and what I needed to do. She made it so simple that anybody could do it. She walked me through what I didn’t understand and she sounded like she had a smile on her face when she was doing it. She is fantastic and I'm really impressed. I couldn't find a better person to work with. If more people had anybody half as good as her, it would be no problem.

The guy at Select Homes said that Teri from Prospect works hard, is trying to gain business and she'll bend over backwards for me. Plus, he said, "If you want the possibility of the best deal, she'll work with you." So I decided to go with her. Overall Prospect was pretty flexible and they were able to answer my questions quickly.

My first experience was with Bank of America, and I don't know if it's a new regulation but the application process was really tough. When you have any loose, suspicious activity, you'll never get your loan at all. But my loan officer was really good and helpful. He also encouraged me because at the last minute I wanted to cop out. They are strict but they made my dream come true.

So I applied for a loan through Prospect Mortgage and got a regular FHA. The application process was informative, quick, and pretty easy. I read some customer reviews about Prospect Mortgage online through internet forums and Consumer Reports. They really had a high rating and customer service as well as they had competitive APR. I talked to Doug and he was really nice and walked me through the whole thing. He was patient, gave a couple of options, did the math, and was pretty quick to reply to any questions I had. He did a great job. I got a VA loan and the application process was straightforward.

The 203k loan was a bit more difficult than it has been in the past. I was not happy with the way that it worked out with the consultant that we were using. Other than that, everything Prospect did was very timely. They followed up very well and made sure we were on time with the closing. I was very happy with all of that process. I’m very satisfied and with my future purchases, I’d be going back to them.

My experience with Prospect Mortgage was horrible. The broker would say anything to get you started in the process, then would not communicate anything along the way. Inquiries go to his support staff who also do not respond. I feel the broker did misrepresent several items to me, in order to get me to go forward with the mortgage, when I otherwise may have waited a little longer.

I’ll keep this short to make it worth reading. Prospect has been terrible. Their rep was difficult to get a hold of and sluggish to move forward without prodding. He made us miss the listed closing date and potentially lose the purchase. Once he finally got the inspection, he failed to get me the closing numbers. Even the day of closing, (which he delayed to Dec 23, because finding moving help is so simple over Christmas) he never got me the closing costs until at the signing. I then had to drive to the closest bank to get the check and return to finish the deal. Just after closing we changed insurance companies and come to find out months later he never did the paperwork because he quit two weeks after closing and Priority dropped the ball. So, because of the forced escrow that didn’t pay, my insurance was dropped completely on the house.

After several unexpected expenses, and maxing out all of our credit cards... everything became extremely stressful and overwhelming. Joseph ** helped me find the best solution for my family, and refinanced our home. He was patient and worked with me over several months, till we found the best choice. I have a hectic work schedule and he was always available day or night to assist me and answer my questions. Summer ** also was amazing, and when I was unable to make the necessary phone calls, she went above and beyond to help with everything. I've heard many horror stories about refinancing and all the hidden fees, and my experience with Prospect Mortgage was everything I could of hoped for. I feel a huge burden has been lifted. We paid off $25,000 in debt, no longer have to pay the month MPI, and we have a lower interest rate! Life is Good!

Our lease was coming up at our rental and we really wanted to buy a house. It was our first time buying one. We were working with Mac and we had a really bad experience with them. Then a friend that used Prospect Mortgage through buying a home gave me the info about them. We got the VA home loan from them and the process was fast and easy. They worked with us on everything we needed to get in. There were a couple of things we had to get in last minute but other than that, everything worked out great. Jennifer, the loan officer, was amazing. She texted and called and when she hadn’t heard from us for a while. She wanted to make sure everything was going good and if we had any questions. It was nice to have somebody check up on us even though there wasn’t much going on during the waiting process.

HomeBridge is the WORST experience I've ever had with lenders. I thought Best Buy's credit company was bad... No, HomeBridge takes the cake on this. Getting the mortgage was painful in every possible way. The underwriters were demanding and made us jump through more hoops than I can count. Every little detail they complained about. They demanded things that were impossible. Finally the mortgage went through -- they double charged me one month and refused to return the money they over charged. At the very least they applied it to the following month.

My mom referred me to Prospect Mortgage. I wanted to get pre-approved for a house and availed their First-time Buyer loan program. The loan officer was great and ab;e to answer a lot of my questions readily. Since it was my first time, getting all the documents was very fragmented. It wasn't all at one time so that was very frustrating. I almost backed out of the deal completely multiple times, because I felt like one day it would be an email about needing this, and the next day it would be a different email that was needing more. There were multiple people involved that sometimes information got missed and I had to keep providing documents that I already provided. I don't know how it is normally but they were very responsive to emails and respond fast.

I've had a wonderful experience with Prospect Mortgage. During my application, they sent me an email or phone call of what they need. They gave me the time I needed and I gave them what they need as quick as I can and everything worked out great. They’re very nice and very knowledgeable. Prospect had experience in dealing with HFA, one of the downpayment assistance programs I use. I went with their First-Time Home Buyer loan program and it was the FHA loan as well. The loan officers were courteous. Application was a long task - a lot of work and a lot of information together - but Prospect prepared me for it. At the same time, we were also working with another program which held us up, but the Prospect people were very patient, helpful and informative. It was an amazing experience.

Applied for home equity loan at SunWest Federal Credit Union on February 9, 2016 and was declined because there was no record of us owning a house on our credit report. I called HomeBridge on the 9th and was told that they would fix by end of week. I waited another week and checked with Experian and was told not on the report. I called HomeBridge a second time and was told they had sixty days to put on report and that report will be updated by the end of the month. On the second of March I again applied for the home equity loan and again was turned down because HomeBridge still had not put anything on credit report to state that we were paying for this house for 1 whole year. I think HomeBridge should go to customer service school.

When I was closing on my house, I was referred to a representative from Prospect. I got the VA loan program, and the application process was long, which I kind of expected. But it was thorough and I was led along the way. Everything was clearly explained to me so it was a good process. I'm happy to get accepted and enter my home. They provided excellent service.

This company financed my home in nc and the loan officer falsified information on my application and changed numbers, inflated appraisal, frauded the government and now Im in a house more than worth the value and payments thats hard for me to make. Once I closed they sold my mortgage to chase. It was about 9 defendants in this fraud scam. Lots of people lost their homes but I struggle to keep roof over my head. So what this company going to do to help us? I hate the day I ever spoke to someone from this company. Made my life stressful! For a first-time home buyer.

Prospect Mortgage was recommended to me by a real estate broker and it's convenient so I went with them. I did two loans through them. What was helpful was they had an electronic database where you could upload documents that they can access rather than having to fax or email documents directly back and forth during the application process. They were very responsive to questions too and handled all of the communications with the loan officer to the extent that there were follow-up questions by the officer and everything still went through Prospect. Overall, I'm pleased.

Prospect Mortgage repeatedly called us and left messages. I called them back to tell them to stop calling but one of their guys convinced us to go with them. It was fairly easy to apply. We didn't have to give them any information but they had difficulty getting information from our previous lender so the process took a little bit longer. We didn't get what we were promised which is part of the reason that I called Prospect back. Unfortunately, that's been our experience with almost every lender we've had.

We had a few issues for quite some time with Prospect Mortgage. Somebody wasn't answering my loan officer. They kept asking for certain paperwork and we keep sending it to them and they're getting nothing on the other end. They would turn back around and ask for the same document. My loan officer did everything she could above and beyond in my eyes to get what we had to get done and we were just sitting there waiting. But the next step wasn't her. It was Protect Mortgage. We kept trying to get the loan closed to go forward with it. Buying a house isn't easy and everybody I talked to agree but when I tell them how long I was in the process of doing so, they would say "Why would it take that long?"

Everyone I spoke with under the Prospect umbrella was very professional and thorough. All commitments and promises were kept. They remained in contact and kept me up to speed regarding the status of the process. Great customer service with a personal touch. I've bought other houses in the past, originally working with USAA, and it was convoluted, they're condescending and treated you like a criminal. They were unable to satisfy my needs so I asked my realtor for a recommendation, and he endorsed Prospect. There were a few hiccups in the application process due to the new regulations put into effect October first because of the Dodd-Frank provisions, but other than that, it was smooth and efficient. They were very easy to work with. My female loan officer was fantastic. It has been an open, honest and straightforward experience with Prospect.

I cannot say enough about the team. They were willing to answer any questions I had, were willing to meet my schedule as to when certain parts of the process could be done, completed the necessary parts of the process according to my specifications but within the time frames and protocols that they needed to meet. Problems from the beginning until the end. Loan officer was great until I signed a contract to purchase a home. Once I was locked in and on a deadline, the problems started. I was told in writing that Prospect did not offer a 15-year renovation mortgage. They did, but I had to push. I should have cut ties then and started over with a new lender, but I didn't. Then told in writing that loan officer got to pick my HUD consultant. Should have pushed back on that, but didn't. Paid big down the line for that decisions.
