I used Prospect Mortgage before in 2012 and it was a good experience. Their application process wasn't difficult and their loan officer was courteous and very good. I had a conventional loan and the credit was a bit tricky, but they were caring and patient explaining to me. Everything went fine so I'm satisfied with it.

We were at the time under bankruptcy and one of the realtors was familiar with Prospect Mortgage, so we went with them. It was a smooth transition during the application process at Prospect. We hit a few snags but we worked through them, though it took a little while to do so. It was no fault of theirs, but basically I got the information for myself. I'll use them again if I have to, but I'm hoping I don't have to use them again at my age. Overall, I'm pleased with Prospect and I would recommend them to a friend.

I went to a workshop put on by HUD and the person putting on the workshop knew about Prospect Mortgage. We had been looking into buying a house and we thought it was time to take the next step. We did an FHA with Prospect and worked with Tracy who was fantastic. I'd heard horror stories about what the process was going to be like, how long it was going to take and how frustrating it might be. But it was absolutely nothing like that because of Tracy. She let us know what was going on, what was going to happen and what we would need. It was a pleasant experience because of her.

Glenn ** is an absolutely outstanding loan officer. We have previous mortgage application experience but Glenn was referred to us by our real estate agent and his level of service was phenomenal. Glenn was extremely prompt in all of his replies and document processing, often working with us late at night and on weekends and even from his hospital bed! Glenn never once failed to offer to explain any aspect of the process or answer any of our questions. He always took time to carefully explain options and rationale and was patient and courteous. I would highly recommend Glenn to anyone I know who is looking for a loan.

I wanted a house so I went for a USDA Rural Development loan. I was directed to Prospect Mortgage by my sister. It was my first and only time ever buying a house, and the application process was somewhere between good and neutral. There was a ton of paperwork, and waiting and hoping you hear good news. Also, sometimes it felt a little archaic that I had to download documents, sign them by hand and then either scan and email them back or fax them back. And at that time, I didn't have at-home access or at-work access to either of those options plus that felt a little redundant since I had set up a digital signing of documents.

I would not recommend this mortgage company to anyone!! Horrible horrible horrible service. Told me I was going to close Dec 15th! 5 days before I was supposed to close they tell me there is 2 different people involved with my loan and they now need all the same paperwork again! Asked 3 weeks ago if they need anyone's more paperwork and they said they had all they needed from me! Now they cost me another 1400 bucks and they could care less!!

I decided to move out and I wanted to get into a loan. My cousins used Prospect Mortgage and recommended a specific loan officer, Michael, from that company. I went to him and liked him too so I stuck with Prospect. The application process was fairly easy and very quick for me. I'm a new homeowner so I had a lot of questions and they were always very good and available to answer any of my questions. They were very good in addressing instances where I had missing paperwork. I also spoke a lot with Christine on the phone and she was very helpful. She returned all of my phone calls and emails.

Excellent professionals. The process went so smooth. The day they told me we were going to close, we close. Thanks to Brian's team for the help. Really satisfied customer.

Had a knowledgeable agent that walked me through the process all the way. It got a little rocky toward the end but at the end of the day, my agent took care of it. I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

I wasn't sure after contacting Prospect Mortgage and the closest broker to me was 6 hours away, that this was the right place. However, they assured me he was good. I went ahead and submitted my contact info and he contacted me a day or 2 later. Main reason I allowed them to work with me is I was having a hard time finding a company that offered 203k loans (a specialty loan to purchase a rehab). After I spoke with him, he convinced me that he knew what he was talking about and sent me some helpful materials. However, over the next 2 weeks, he already showed he wasn't very responsive.

I was told I would close on a certain date so I planned to be out of my current living situation then. They kept saying "you'll close _____ date", then a day would pass and it would be "oh there's a delay on our end so you'll close _____ date". As I write this I'm still waiting for my disclosure paperwork. Hope I move in before 2016. If I had known it would be like this I would have never gone with Prospect. I DON'T recommend this mortgage company.

It was not a very good experience to do closing with Prospect Mortgage. I lost around $1200.00 in closing because of attorney used by Prospect Mortgage.

Just refinanced and they went over each of the steps and kept me appraised of everything that was happening.

We were relocating from Nebraska to Florida and my realtor suggested I contact Tyler with Prospect Mortgage. Tyler and his team (Julie and Frances) were fantastic from the start! Tyler was there to answer any questions we had - throughout the entire process. Everything processed on time and within the estimate limits originally provided. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Tyler for any future mortgage needs!

Overall great experience working with Bobby ** and his team at Prospect Mortgage! Bobby was always responsive to my sometimes anxious emails regarding close date and various questions. Our close date was pushed back a few weeks from what we initially anticipated due to implementation of the Ocean State Grad Grant I was able to take advantage of. As I understand it, the grant was rolled out to the public before any company actually had a system in place to use it. It seems that it was out of Prospect Mortgage's control as to how long that would take.

Excellent service from Prospect Mortgage. Sandy ** found the best refinancing package for us and guided us through the process. We have nothing but great things to say about Prospect, from start to finish. We recommend it and him highly.

I love Dana and Julie. They have always done a great job for me... This last closing with TRID was a hard one but of course they came thru and got me a great rate!!! And minimal about closing cost. I love them!! Recommend them 10 fold!!!

We were purchasing a home and putting 30% down. We have excellent credit (by rating not just opinion). When the process started, they said no problem to match the closing date. 6 weeks later, they said they couldn't do it. They refused to commit to a closing date. We had to push back our exit from the house we sold. They knew the date we needed to be out and yet they would never commit. Michael & Kevin were the worst. They came back after three plus weeks and said they needed all new pay stubs. They questioned a credit card with a $14.97 balance. It became absolutely ridiculous. Everyday there was some other question or more demands. Ended up terminating our relationship with them. Passed on the house. Lost money in the process but learned a lesson that we would never use or recommended HomeBridge to anyone.

A family friend recommended Prospect Mortgage and I am happy with them. The application process was very good, the entire team was very helpful and we communicated very clearly along the way. Also, the loan officer was always able to quickly answer my questions.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!! Where to start? Our very dear friends are moving home from Saudi and are trying to purchase a home and are having the worst experience with this company!! They've turned in ALL required paperwork plus some and are still being played off! The ONLY response they receive is "They're working on it", every single time! The closing date has changed every week for the past 2 months with only an email requesting more documents that they've already turned in!! Really??? Now the builder is ending the contract because they are NOT able to close. What company operates this way? They should be ashamed of themselves! Karma!

I was ready to purchase a home and decided looking into getting a loan. I chose Prospect Mortgage because of the reference that I received and I knew I could trust the reference. Application was very easy. They sent the application to me and I filled it out. If there was anything I had questions on, they answered them very quickly and made sure that I got everything filled out. The loan officer was very responsive and super helpful. I had a lot of first-timer questions and he was very good about his answers.

The realtor recommended Prospect Mortgage. He knew them and knew they were good and reliable. The application process was made simple. Everything went smooth as soon as we started the process with them. We had a couple of delays but it was a matter of gathering documents so we have no complaints. Prospect Mortgage was good.

So when it was time to buy another house, I just automatically went right back to them because they did such a great job and they were easy to work with, so I just used them again. They guided me through everything I needed and they were very precise about what they needed and how to get it. They made the application process easy.

I learned about Prospect Mortgage from a loan officer that I had dealt with years ago. I applied and got the unconventional 30-year loan. The process was fine and my experience with them has been great.

Tyler ** from prospect Mortage contacted me after I had a contract on a piece of property in Florida. He learned about the contract through my realtor and told me he wanted to do my loan. I was purchasing a piece of property, needed a loan, so I signed up with them. I went with the fixed rate, 30-year loan that was for residential investment property. I have four mortgages right now with Prospect and I am satisfied customer. In fact, I have and I do recommend them quite often.

I like Prospect Mortgage. I heard about them from a friend and I wanted to give it a try because I’m with US Bank before and I just want to get something different and try and see who had a better deal. Prospect made it very quick and easy. We went for a home loan with them and bought a house for rental and I would recommend our loan officer to anyone. He is excellent and is very prompt. He even worked on the weekend. In addition, when I sent them an email they sent it right away. I appreciate that they go above and beyond making sure we got the loan. Overall, the experience was good.

We're buying a house so we got the FHA loan program from Prospect Mortgage. The agent that we used was Redfin and he trusted them. The application process was great. They were very helpful, informative, got us involved, and let us know what was going on. Our loan officer got everything that we needed to get done very quickly and anytime she had a question she made sure to get in contact with me and made sure I understood everything that was going on.

My wonderful realtor, Robin **, hooked me up with this team and I'm so glad she did! I have mastered how to purchase items on-line, but I discovered I knew pretty much nothing about purchasing a home. Stacy ** was my angel! She held my hand through the whole process (which had a some painful moments) and if she wasn't available either Mark ** or someone else from the team would get back to me quickly. I cannot recommend this company enough - even after the purchase went through they have continued to help me with any questions I have. If you are looking for a mortgage company that really cares about helping you purchase your new home then Prospect Mortgage is it!

The first household we're looking at needed a 203(k) loan. I went on the internet and Prospect Mortgage was the first one that came up. The application process was awesome and the loan officer was the best ever.

My broker had an experience with a loan officer named Indu at Prospect Mortgage and had a great experience, so I also started working with her and I’ve never looked anywhere else. I went with the conventional 15-year home residential loan and the application process was a very good experience. They tried to save my old information, used whatever can be used, and just asked me for whatever is needed fresh. When somebody else had filed for my IRS and they were done on my social number and it seemed they were not able to exactly match the tax returns last year with what I submitted, they’re able to find the solution based on all my filed information. There seems to be very good cooperation. However, the company should avoid asking redundant documents from the customer. But other than that, everything’s good. Indu’s just awesome and I’ve been very happy.

I've been with Prospect since 2008. I got them for all my 4 mortgages and I'm happy with them. Everyone was really helpful during the application process so it was easy. Johnny, my loan officer, was honest. I told him from the beginning that if I'm not going to get approved to not do it.

I got Prospect Mortgage's FHA loan and the experience was smooth. There weren't too many questions to answer and all the information was presented to us right up front. Their representative worked with our agent and made the process absolutely smooth and streamlined. She made the closing process even easier working with the title company. She controlled everything from start to finish and we had not one bump on the road. For first-time home buyers, this is the company to go with.

My real estate agent recommended Prospect Mortgage and when I started talking to them, their customer service was really helpful and professional. Everyone there was really nice and friendly. My application process was good, too. The woman guided me through everything and I had a lot of questions which she answered very quickly. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Prospect Mortgage.

The process was a little bit longer than expected because we had an issue and then I had to deal with it by myself. My loan officer was okay, but he told me that I may have 60 days before my first payment because it was a 203k program, but I was surprised that I had to pay right away my first month. The problem is my home is under renovation right now and I have 45-60 days to go live there, and the guy in the renovation department said they're going to pay the first month. I’m not sure.

My first contact with Prospect Mortgage was very pleasant and welcoming. The application process was handled professionally and everything was 100%. The loan officer was excellent and very informative. We never wondered or worried about what the process needed or required as it went through quickly. Everything was over outstanding.

I was looking to buy a house and it was through my brother-in-law's recommendation that I went with Prospect Mortgage. We got the Home Advice program and I started working with Lizy on all business levels. I like the way she operates and it was nice having her personal cell phone number just in case I wanted to call her and ask a question. Also their people were able to answer all my questions and they were quick to respond during the application process so all in all, I had a great experience with Prospect. I don't want to buy a house right now, but the next time I do, I look forward to working with them again.

I started a refinance with Prospect Mortgage. And shortly after starting the refinance, I was laid off. I told the loan officer that I was not comfortable going forward with this new loan because I was unemployed. This didn't seem to matter to the loan and kept moving forward with the refinance. I tried calling many times but never able to get a hold of him. I called 3x on 10/1, 2x on 9/30, 3x on 9/29... I normally would not call that often, but he was not communicating with me. I feel like this was the loan officers refinance not mine.

I had a loan set up but my realtor didn't think that I could get it approved because it needed some fixing up. I looked at 203k loans and Prospect Mortgage came up. It was, however, frustrating because they wouldn't communicate a lot. They didn't even ask how much I want to put down which I thought was rude. I was going through Quicken Loans and they were nice and get you up-to-date.

My realtor, who was also the loan officer that I used when I bought my first house, transitioned to Prospect Mortgage. She did such a wonderful job, so I wanted to stay with her. We had a really good rapport and we always had an open line of communication. I went with the FHA loan program. For the most part, the application process was very easy because I work for a mortgage company as well, so I already knew what they were expecting. I had the paperwork already at hand. We had a little bump because the initial mortgage or loan officer I thought I was gonna have was just an in-between. And when I got introduced to my other loan officer, she had requested the information that was already sent. But they had straightened it out nicely and quickly. The experience has been proficient, efficient and sufficient.

Quin and Susan were outstanding with their service to my client and with attorney, Rebel **. Communication was frequent and thorough and they were always in a good mood. We did a conventional loan with Prospect Mortgage. We had a good representative and everything went well. They did what they were supposed to do. They're polite, professional and on time.

I had a lender that couldn't find anybody who loaned for prefab houses or modulars, so I switched to Prospect because they were able to find me one. The application process wasn't very smooth and easy, but I liked their customer service more than what I was getting at the other place. Loan officer Jen was very personable, friendly and thorough. If there was a change or there was something different, she got a hold of me right away and kept me up to date on everything. It’s got a lot to do with her and just her staying on top of things. Generally, my experience is pleasant and thorough.

We had a bad experience with Prospect Mortgage. We have never experienced buying a home before. We've had an FHA loan and we experienced multiple closings, delays, and foreclosing. It was just horrible.

My husband and I are currently working to sell our home and buy a new one, contingent on the sale of our current home. Contracts were signed and a closing date of September 29, 2015 was set. We found out at 5:30pm on the 28th that the lender for our buyers (Prospect) had not gotten the documents over to the Title Company. Because it was after business hours, we could not try to find out what was happening until the morning of the 29th. My mother in law (our realtor) had been in contact with the buyer's realtor, who had been in contact with the lender, and assured us everything was great, and that we would probably even be able to close early.

I sold my home the end of July, the buyers are financing through Prospect Mortgage. The officer is D'ana **. It is Sept 29th and they still do not have loan docs available to send to title company so that we can close. Only one time have I received a call back when a message was left since the start of this process. She is horrible at returning calls; communicating with the realtors, the buyers, and the sellers. I'm getting all kinds of excuses. Can't reach the underwriter. I had special training I had to attend and then of course apologies.

These guys are completely incompetent. They mishandled my loan through 3 extensions and the loss of my $1000 deposit. The only guys that knew what he was doing was the regional manager from Kansas City. I hope every real estate company in Fort Worth discontinues using them. I for one, will never use them again.

My overall experience with Prospect Mortgage was great. I’d recommend them.

I would like others to know how this company has affected me and my family. Due to the lack of competency from Prospect Mortgage's staff my family and I are having to relocate for the 2nd time. I put my house on the market and my buyer used this company for their pre approval and they were pre approved with no problems as I was told. On 6/10/15 we signed the contract and we were set to close for 7/28. Based on this date I had already moved my family out of the home awaiting the build of my new home. Days before the closing date set for 7/28 I was told we had to wait for more documents to be produced. I was told I had to wait till 9/15 for these documents to be produced. My new closing date was set for 9/17 at the latest. One day prior to this close date I was then told the buyer was no longer qualified for the loan and needed a co-borrower. The buyer obtained a co-borrower and I was given another close date of 9/25.

We got an FHA loan with Prospect Mortgage and it was a very easy and smooth process. Our loan officer was good and knowledgeable and we loved her quirkiness. It was a very pleasant experience.

Prospect Mortgage was who my real estate guy went through and he’s a family friend, so I talked to them. But once I’ve dealt with them, I liked everything so I stayed. I went with the FHA program and the application process was pretty easy. I had great communication with my loan officer, Amy. She's great, very available and helpful, and told me exactly what I needed - if there's any question, she knew immediately. My experience with them was great especially for a first-time home buyer, not knowing what I would get into.

Prospect Mortgage offers great rates and service so I had them refinanced my property. Everything was great with them and I'd recommend them.

We were in escrow on a house and Bank of America promised us a loan and then failed to deliver, so we looked for another lender. We talked to a friend who told us about Brian Minkow from Prospect. I’d never heard of Prospect but I called Brian and within a week he secured us a loan. It was incredible. I had a significant distrust with the loan application process because of my experience with Bank of America but Brian’s team was very confident and they told us not to worry and, "We’re going to get this done. We’re going to get this funded. Everything’s going to go great." In retrospect, they were exactly right. The only thing that made it difficult at the time is not knowing and not being able to be told a hundred percent that we'll get the loan. In the end, Prospect was able to show up with the check and I was so happy. It was a very difficult and nail-biting experience but Prospect got the job done and it was an excellent experience, and I recommend them.

I first learned about Prospect through a first-time home buyers class. The main reason I chose it over another lender is because of regulatory reasons. Based on my research, there's so much scrutiny with the underwriters in big financial institutions and I wanted to move fast on it. And usually other lenders seemed to be easier to go through, plus, just the expertise of Paul, the gentleman who was conducting the class, the mortgage officer. He was very knowledgeable and so having that experience with him, I was comfortable in going to him, cause he seemed to know what he was talking about. I would definitely recommend Prospect to a friend. Their people are friendly, fast and they get things done.

I don't have any issues with Prospect Mortgage. I wish I had found them from when I first started. Everything was on time and they did what they said they were going to do.

My friends referred me to Prospect Mortgage. The application process was really good and their loan officer was professional, which was great. I like the customer service that the company provides, and I’d recommend them.

Things started great, the mortgage consultant met with me and things were perfect. She assured me this was going to work as no one else had been able to help (bank or mortgage co). The worksheet that I was provided with was perfect, everything was too perfect I guess. Then the additional out of pocket expenses began. Then the mortgage company's inspector failed to notice that there were no closets and I was required to have closets to have a room considered a bedroom. Really? No one notices this until it's almost time to go to closing? Now they want to come up with an additional $5000 for closing and have 2 or 3 closets put in (after I have already had to lay out all this additional money that was not on the original paperwork!). This company is a rip off. I would like to be reimbursed for these fees that I was charged since I had to use all of their companies.

The first time I got into a loan program with Prospect Mortgage, I went with an equity type of loan and it was a very good experience. They helped me and I was really satisfied.

Entered into a contract to sell my house and purchase another. My buyer needed me out by a certain date, which we communicated to Prospect. They said "no problem". We started the process with them on June 11th with closing date set for July 16th. July 16th comes, and Prospect had not funded my loan with the closing attorney, which we gave them upfront. Me, my agent and the attorney were on hold all day on the 16th, all day on the 17th, all day on the 20th, at which point I contacted their consumer advocate. Closed on the 21st.

I am a first time home buyer in Birmingham, Alabama and started with getting a pre-approval mid June from Prospect Mortgage. We found the home we wanted, made a deal with the seller, and submitted our contract for the mortgage the first week in July. Everything was going very smoothly and seemed to be going too good. We were due to close on our home August 7th. Everything was going so well that I turned in my notice at my apartment and was due to be out of it on August 9th, reserved the U-Haul, and pre-registered my son in the new school zone. After almost 48 hours of not being able to get in touch with my mortgage officer I contacted my real estate agent to see if she had heard anything and she informed me that my loan had been put on hold and the appraisal still had not been completed. This was August 5th, less than 48 hours before we were set to close.

My cousin referred me to Prospect Mortgage. She had also referred another one of our cousins and he had a positive experience. I went with a conventional loan, and everything was great up until the last time that I worked with Clarissa. But once the loan went into underwriting, it started falling apart. But I really appreciated that Clarissa was very efficient and very accommodating. She made herself available at all hours literally. There were times where I contacted her at 11 o'clock at night via email and she responded, which I really appreciated.

Buying a home for the first time was very difficult, frustrating, and very emotional. You find a home you want, go through the process of paying for an appraisal to later find out things didn't work out. That piece was not fun. I had many questions during the way, but Anthony **, Loan officer on my file field them in a timely manner and answer all in details. From this side, I was not an issue.

I couldn't get help at BofA, and my realtor sent me to Sandy ** and Kamara ** who shepherded me through the process. It is overwhelming and I am still not sure I know how it works. I'll just make my payments. :)

I requested a Sept 1st payment to be my 1st payment and when I got the mortgage docs my 1st payment was due in Aug. Wasn't happy.

My refinance went perfect. I was kept informed the whole way through and was contacted whenever they needed an extra document sent in. Working with Prospect Mortgage for my first home-buying experience was an overall positive process! Everyone at Prospect was extremely professional and timely, which was greatly appreciated. The only negative, at times I felt rushed. I only met with the staff in-person one time, and I felt like decisions were made for me and not with me. Ideally, I would've liked more in-person meetings and for options to be presented to me and to be discussed with me before decisions were made. All in all, one happy customer!

Prospect Mortgage did a good job. They got my loan done in a very short amount of time, which I needed because I had to be out of the place I was in by a certain date. They expedited the process for me and I appreciated that. The only issue I have with them was when they sent the documents over to be signed, they included some documents that were not part of my package, so we had to sort those out at the time of signing. They should have been more careful in sending documents over. Still, I'd recommend them.

My realtor referred me to Prospect Mortgage while we were looking for a new house. Everything went smoothly and it was full speed ahead. The application process was absolutely very good. Their rep would ask for different things and I would email it to her and I'd get a response immediately especially if I needed something else and get it right back. Their team was absolutely fantastic in getting things together and letting me know what we have to look for with the appraisal. It was very informative and was very easy for me. Amy from Prospect was fantastic. She closed in three weeks for us. She was the best loan officer that I've ever dealt with.

We waited over 3 months. Together's answer on a meeting, myself, my attorney, and realtors said they have never dealt with such an unprofessional bunch of people. They piled on charges the last week before denying us. I have never had to go through as much nonsense as these guys have put us through. I have done several other mortgages so I am very aware of how the process works and this isn't it. They ordered an appraisal, last thing, just to con us out of another $550.00.

Prospect was excellent, very good, thorough and done a very challenging closing on time which was a miracle.

Homebridge specifically told us that we would be getting a portion, or all of, our Property Mortgage Insurance refunded to us when we paid off the mortgage. They told us the sooner we paid it off the more we would get back, as it would be prorated. We only had the mortgage for two months, paid it off and had paid $4,500 to PMI at closing. This was the ONLY reason we chose to do a FHA loan, because we were assured we would be getting that money back when we paid off our loan. When we called the PMI customer service number they said we don't get any of it back. We were flat out lied to. DO NOT use Homebridge services!! They will do anything to get you to use their service.

People at Prospect Mortgage were all great, very helpful, reliable, and attentive. They call me back immediately when I have questions. And thanks to their quick thinking, I was able to close at a reasonable time with some other strategies because my lawyer was not very helpful in the matter.

My Agent Larry ** was well misinformed. My case was difficult because I had a previous bankruptcy and foreclosure in my record. I explained this situation very clear because I was rejected from a previous loan because of the time frame to apply for a new loan after foreclosure is 7 years. However, Mr. ** let me continue with the application process without review my credit history very well in complicity with the underwriter. At the beginning the phone calls were very intense. Documents were sent on time and overnighted via FedEx. The underwriter give Ok for everything including to continue with the appraisal. My total expenses were close to $700.00. One day before the closing Mr. ** call very upset telling that I didn't disclose all the information regarding the foreclosures and they can't continue with my loan for that reason. From that day, I requested to talk with the manager but they never answer my calls anymore.

My son applied for a loan with FHA, he was approved right away, then was connected with Consumer Real Estate Finance Co. who was the broker for Homebridge Mortgage. He started the process in April, every week CREFCO would come up with something new Homebridge needed, then every other day. I am the insurance agent. They required me to write a home policy to cover the home in May, or they wouldn't write the loan. Then they told my son he had to find cheaper insurance & he didn't need all the coverage he had. They were constantly asking the insurance company & my son to jump through hoops. It's supposed to close tomorrow, & after my office closed today they sent an email demanding I write a new policy with a different effective date and they need it in the morning!

Everything worked out fine with Prospect Mortgage. There's always a lot of work in their application process but seemed to be fairly easy. The loan officer did exactly what we needed him to.

Moved in a home on a "pre possession" purchase agreement. Was told I would by my Prospect agent that I would close in 45 days. Moved in home under these agreements with the seller and never heard from agent again for months! Extended purchase agreement length. I was finally contacted by the agent who was still most of the time unreachable by any means that she gave me. When she finally contacted back via email she told us to do credit repair so we did that... Nothing happened. Only took our money. Then I started doing my own repair.

I was happy with the service that Prospect gave me and the girl that was handling the loan process for me was very helpful. They did a very good job as far as getting the process going. The only thing is that the closing cost is expensive -- but it's not Prospect's fault because they don't have anything to do with it. It's awful what you have to come up with to have to buy a house anymore. But other than that, it was a refreshing experience.

This was the most painful mortgage company I have dealt with. Poor customer service. Unprofessional people. They never tell you the full truth and write emails in such a way that you feel like you are approved or the documentation is complete and then come back repeatedly asking for the same documentation over and over. There were endless requests for unnecessary documentation. They also have a consumer advocacy group that contacted me and told me that they would help me; so I reached out to the consumer advocacy group when the request for more documentation came. And the person at consumer advocacy told me that he cannot help me with my loan process; all he can do is take my complaint and see what can be improved.

My loan officer did a very good. He helped me understand everything and walked me through every step of the process. He gave the best rate to fit my income and make sure I was getting the correct taxes back and the best way to get as much back. It was also very customized to what I was making and what would benefit me the most. So, our application process with Prospect Mortgage went easy and smooth.

The different time we got Prospect, everything went so well so I thought we should check with them again. And that's why we chose Prospect again.
