Friendly and the best customer service I could ask for. Robert and Raphael are always pleasant and ready to answer any questions you may have and very quick to return your phone call. They both are so informative and ready to share any information they have about the precious metals IRA. Such a simple process with a great return and not to mention the 10 percent free silver they give you for working with Goldco.

My wife and I started this journey with Goldco in early September. I know that Goldco was swamped with business and had to hire more employees (a good thing). My wife's IRA rollover was quicker than mine. The transfer from my IRA to Equity (handles the new IRA) took quite a while. Once that happened, it was pretty fast for David McFarlane to handle the metals purchase. The confirmation call was quick and easy. David had the recommended order ready.

Goldco seems to be a very reputable company. Only disappointment, and I know the reps are very busy, is I felt like I was being rushed through the process, and that my amount of investment was not as worthy to hold the rep up for questions as the other calls he had coming in. I put him on mute for less than a minute to discuss something with my husband and the rep hung up on me because he had to answer another call. He did text to apologize and said he could call me after hours, but since we were close to the end of our call and I was making a decision for my purchase, I did not think that was very professional.

Being concerned about the direction the economy is headed, I wanted to diversify my retirement savings. Since the Biden administration took office I had lost over 20% of my traditional IRA savings after seeing steady growth before that. I would, however, caution prospective investors to understand that GoldCo's business is focused on buying and selling premium bullion such as limited edition, collector quality, proof coins rather than common bullion such as bars or rounds. If you are only interested in the melt-value of the precious metals, GoldCo may not be the best choice for you.

GoldCo would not provide written initial investment fees. They provided annual fees, which was contradicted between two employees. They would not confirm or reject the amount of fees I figured according to the numbers I was given. I asked at least four times for all fee amounts to be emailed and they refused - even by a supervisor. NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY!! This should be against the law not to provide fees in writing.

At first, everything was great but then was a bit bumpy with no return calls and follow through. However, our representative has worked hard the last two days trying to make amends and has been much more responsive. Appreciate that. He is very personable and friendly. Overall, our experience was decent. I know the staff is real busy so I can appreciate delays. Again, we got things accomplished. He was very polite and answered our questions.

We moved our IRA TO A GOLD BACKED IRA to get out of the stock market. We received a 10% bonus in silver which helped offset our losses in the stock market. Each person we had contact with were highly professional. Tony our personal representative answered all my questions and concerns.

I called in to set up a self directed IRA account. The set up was prompt with required forms sent FedEx. After the funding of the account, it was very easy to purchase gold/silver to be kept in my account. The only negative is that they are very busy and did not call at appointed time. That should normally not be a problem, but I am leaving the country in two days and wanted to get this settled. Also, there was static on the phone lines which made it necessary for the agent to repeat the information. Those are minor annoyances compared to dealing with some other brokerages.

Not pleased! Rep was slow, didn't seem to care, too laid back and disengaged. Process took way too long and stalled over several weekends while metal pricing rose. To be one of the top Gold IRA companies, the website is antiquated and makes the company look bad. The website needs updating and overhauling. You can't see live inventory, current pricing, current gold and silver market pricing, etc. like competitive companies. Offer of 10% in free silver is bogus! I just don't have a good feeling about GoldCo. Maybe it's just the rep, but I'm not pleased. Rep didn't communicate well, on day of coin purchase, we had appt for 10am but rep didn't call until 2 hrs later after we had to call GoldCo to complain.

We have been thinking for a while that we want our 401K’s in God's economy, which is precious metals, iof vs a volatile market invested in companies that have no integrity. David and the other staff members did an excellent job explaining our options as well as the advantages. So glad we did this!!!
