Quick and easy process. Customer service was exceptional and loan rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. After loan was approved the next day I was sent an email asking if I had any questions and was given customer service numbers in case I needed them in the future. This whole process is how it should be done, top notch business. Would recommend Freedom Plus to anyone.

Done very well at explaining options and or other information is needed, was quick and virtually painless process. Was able to do all of it over the phone which made that handy. No real issues, would recommend to a friend.

Updated on 02/28/2020: Since my review of Freedomplus posted on February 25, 2020, I have received daily calls from them. Each one ending like the last; the representative claims that they will deactivate my application. But then, another call. I made them an offer, if their desire to do business with me warranted daily calls, if they met my terms I would consider doing business with them. They have called me two more times, since I made my offer, neither call was an acceptance, only a representative trying to sell me a different loan. I will likely not ever do business with this company, and I will strongly discourage family and friends from entering into any agreement with Freedomplus. It is not worth this harassment at work and at home.

From the start is was so simple. I read a lot of negative reviews so it worried me, however my experience so far was nothing like that. Within a day I was approved. I don’t have a perfect credit score or anything. I just bought a house so I needed to consolidate my debt to pay it off faster. All the representatives I had to deal with were wonderful and very helpful. I couldn’t be happier.

I am utterly shocked and disgusted about the illegality and fraudulent business practices of this company!!! A total and complete SCAM. After THREE DAYS and countless hours/emails, I was first conditionally approved, then completely approved for a loan. As in, I specifically asked the loan consultant-this is a final approval, correct? I was told “I no longer will have to make those credit card payments as it will be paid off within 3 business days”. I made it CLEAR in the first 5 minutes of the two hours that I did not have one particular document. The agent told me no problem, and then started asking for it two hours later and GHOSTED.

Very helpful. And they did everything for me. Sent in paperwork and they had everything done in less than 10 days. Very pleased. And my loan person was very pleasant to work with. Will recommend to anyone.

My experience with Kathi ** was great. Most of my accounts have been paid. The loan was processed on Monday September 23rd. It has been 11 days and my Capital One line of credit still had not been paid. Unsure why that is.

Today for the second time in 2 months Freedom Plus online payment system debited my bank account twice in he same month. The first taking my vacation money the day it began, then again today taking rent money. The first was refunded 10 days towards the end of my vacation, but today I was told that they could not refund this time because they did last month and kept accusing me of accidentally making the mistake, telling me the second debit will be applied to my account. Even after I told them it was rent money. I’ve been making these payments for years, this wasn’t user error.

Just here to warn consumers about this company. My wife and I recently took out a debt consolidation loan for $40,000. The loan was easy enough to obtain and the loan officer seemed professional. Then comes the real dealing with the customer service and the group know as Freedom Financial Network. If you look up FreedomPlus on BBB you will find that they have an A+ rating. From what I have seen these are just the loan folks. Begin to deal with their customer service or should I say customer disservice and that is where the trouble lies.

Freedom Plus was very easy to work with. The loan specialist was excellent in explaining all the loan details to me. Got my funds in a few days. No more high interest credit card payments. I would recommend FreedomPlus to anyone indeed of debt consolidation.

My experience with FreedomPlus was less than subpar. I waited over two weeks, jumped through unnecessary hoops, provided the documentation and my credit scores are in the good category. I had a pretty good experience with Victoria the Lending agent, until the very end. I was trying to borrow 20K. I have a credit score of 740, and I had my father co-sign because he had the income that they asked for. His credit score is 850. I thought for sure that we would get a good offer. We got an offer of 13% APR, which I can live with, but then she told me what the loan origin fee was.... 5%!!!

I received direct marketing mail from this company and after a soft credit check I was preapproved. I make 90,000 a year have a FiCO Score of 700 and they offered me a 15k loan at 16.9 APR. They are insane. They claim that it would be cheaper than having my 3 credit cards in the long run as I would only be paying one loan. This company might as well be a credit card company with those rates. This lender does not even show up on the top 10 best lenders review. Steer clear from these unscrupulous lenders. They are bad for your Financial Health. They have horrible reviews and probably the good reviews are from professional reviewers. Not real folks like me. Edgar ** Philadelphia

After just receiving a rejection for a loan by Lending Club, I was not enthusiastic about trying another company as we couldn't comprehend why our credit score of 730 and no history of late or slow payments for over 40 years would have resulted in that decision. I contacted FreedomPlus in an effort to obtain a loan to pay off my credit cards. My credit history was somewhat blighted with a bankruptcy in 2016 and my card usage at over 50%. I have not had any issues with late payments but thought my negative history was a Huge problem. The rep I spoke to was very accommodating and my loan was approved in about six hours. All but one of my cards were paid off in six business days and I expect the other subprime card to be paid shortly. I would reccomend this organization to anyone.

I did a soft inquiry online, and my phone rang like crazy. I finally answered to a Dana **, who was quick to do a hard inquiry. Well sad to say she never called me back about my application and every time I called her to check on the status, her voicemail came on saying Dana is at home. Very unprofessional...if my loan wasn’t approved for whatever reason, I would have liked a call back, as I do have other options with other companies.

I am surprised that to see people are giving FreedomPlus 5 stars rating! This is purely a “predatory” lender. No question on that. Be aware of the LendingTree which is very dishonest and misguiding people straight. It send your loan application to this type of predators. You will receive a call immediately even you did not select their services. They start asking personal information without disclosing their information. I fall into this trap of LendingTree and paid $2000 just for loan processing. I am trying to find out the information on how to file proper complain with authorities.

Our payment is affordable and we are saving 400$ a month in interest fees! We would definitely recommend FreedomPlus to friends and family.

All went well with the exception of not being made aware of the 300 something dollar processing fee. Borrowed 7500 and got 7100 and something, don't have the exact figures right at the moment as I am at work. Otherwise it went well.

I was pre-approved through a Lending Tree application and the status stated someone would reach out to me after I entered accounts to payoff. A rep reached out and I thought it was someone related to the pre-approval but it seems to be a 3rd party through Freedom Plus. Point is that I ended up with two personal loans when I only needed one and a 2nd credit pull when I was already approved through Web Bank. I thought it was weird that the rep that called asked to pull my credit but only one rep reached out.

There were fees which were not discussed prior to signing contract. As you can see the attached file does not show an additional fee for 748.50. Should this be listed? When we were signing the contract it wasn’t mentioned either.

This company FreedomPlus is a scam. They run my credit without my permission. When I call them they ignored me. Never did I apply via phone or written. Stay away from their scam. I contacted all the financial control, plus the FBI and state attorney general.

The loan process was fairly painless but instead of sending me the money as other loan consolidation companies have done they wanted to pay off my creditors themselves. No problem but then after over 2 weeks 1 of them was still not paid off and when I called they said they still had about 5 days because those "10 business days" they say they have to pay them off only starts once they actually send a check which can add days and weekends and holidays don't count against them. I would suggest another company. I have done business with a couple of others over the years and FreedomPlus while not horrible is at the bottom of my list. I doubt I will ever do business with them again and their rates were about 3 points higher than the competition. I found out too late. Fool me once...

I was trying to figure out to get my credit card debt back under control and a loan from FreedomPlus helped me get all my credit card debt and other loans consolidated into one payment. The interest was a little high but my credit score was gradually sinking and my debt didn't seem to be getting any smaller. A personal loan through Lending Tree made getting my debt under control possible. Now I have one fixed payment and know when it will be paid off as well as having the opportunity to review my loan in a few months to possibly lower my interest rate.

I just wanted him to change the name he had spelled incorrectly and it took him a loooong time to respond. I had already submitted all necessary documents to him, and he spelled my co-signer's name incorrectly, he refused to fix it or get back to him. Horrible person. I had to cancel my loan. This loan provided me a way to have lower total monthly outgo. I was very impressed with the customer service I received. I was also very happy about the 6% APR, that neither one of our (2) Credit Unions could offer (10% APR). In addition, the lower monthly payments could now be supplemented with any additional money I would like to pay through their customer service. No prepayment penalty and no loan origination fees were a factor in my decision to go with Freedom Plus, I would highly recommend that people should check you out for their needs.

By 2015, my husband and I accumulated about $18000 in credit card debt and I began panicking. We were in our late 50’s so this could mean putting off retirement plans. However, he researched debt consolidation loans thoroughly and began a conversation with Joseph out of the Phoenix office. I am generally suspicious of “salespeople,” but Joseph was extremely informative, respectful and encouraging. This company is the REAL DEAL please believe! I contacted FreedomPlus on Sunday 3-3-2019, and spoke with (NIC **). It was around 5:30pm, and they close at 6:00pm. I was shocked they were even open on a Sunday, and I gave him all of my information to send it to the underwriting team. He told me the documents that, I needed to send which was my (last paycheck stub, a voided check, and a copy of my license). They also only pull 1 credit bureau to see if you are approved which is EXPERIAN. He told me he would call me in the morning to proceed with processing my loan since they were about to close. Well Nic called me around 9:30pm, and told me he received all of my documents the night before. He said I was approved for the 20,000, and the interest rate would be 16.99%.

Brett ** wa's my loan officer. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional. The loan process itself was very easy and fast. The terms is a reason I give 5 stars, I think based on my credit and my partner's credit we should have got around 10 to 12% instead of 15, but considering it was unsecured money and we needed it fairly quickly not is how capitalism works and I support capitalism.

I decided to check into their loan offer they sent to me, pre-approved, to see if I could better the interest rate on a loan I have with another company. After speaking with them on a Friday afternoon, the rep in Phoenix told me he would call me back in 20 or so minutes, after their underwriter reviewed my credit and then he could give me the loan details they could offer, I said, "Great." I never received a phone call back, the only other communication I received was on the following Tuesday, saying, "Let's go forward, just provide one of these documents requested and the loan would automatically start," he also asked me to call him direct. I called, it went straight to voicemail, I returned his email stating that, "You have not provided me any information about the loan details." I haven't heard a word since then. My credit score is 723, so I am not a high risk of default type.

An agent named Shelby called me as soon as I entered my information online. Mind you, he called at 6pm while I was about to sit down to dinner with my family. He asked a few questions, seemed nice enough. Until... I asked if this credit inquiry would affect my credit. He said it would be a hard inquiry and I said I would rather not do the application at this time. He hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Return of funds A lack of a 72 hour period for recession of the decision on the loan is an unfair business practice. I believe adding this measure would help drive more business. I am an extremely qualified buyer (FICO 830) and was treated with a rate of 27% APR and wasn't even close to your competitors which came in at appx 8%-10%. I'll pay off the loan in entirety within one week and find ways to write to your state senator to document the unfair business practices performed by your company along with reporting you to the BBB and other platforms alike. As disabled veteran, I also plan to encourage other disabled and non-disabled veterans to NOT use your company, ever! I'll make this a common practice on a weekly basis. It's unfortunate we couldn't come to terms over a measly $1,900. Expect to lose 100X more as a result of this decision.

Miriam ** was my loan officer. I am fortunate to have her processing my loan. She was very professional, a good communicator, and kept me informed on every step to loan approval. It is obvious to me, she is also has very experienced because she knew the answer to all of my questions.

Keith who was our contact was easy to talk to and deal with. Our loan was approved in 2 days, debts were paid off 11 days after loan approved. As long as you have the right documents, and income, the loan is approved fast.

They dangle great deals expecting perfection which my wife and I have. However, due to a few extra credit inquiries (from buying a house and two cheaper cars recently) they declined any offer that has good interest rates and offered a joke of a rate. The employees were awesome and nice however the underwriters are morons. Steer clear - god forbid you get another credit inquiry. They treat it like you're high risk even with a 780 credit score.

This guy who says he was a loan officer from FreedomPlus refuses to put in writing what he is requiring for any loan request and he also refuses to state what is required for the loan. Instead all he states is that he can only discuss with me verbally anything related to the loan. What a scam. If they won't put anything in writing then you should never deal with any lender that will only do things verbally.

I was paying off my loan 3 years early. Made a $19k pymt on 12/15 in addition to my monthly auto withdraw of $521 on 12/16. Should have had $140 in overpayment but instead charged me $15 for a NSF because I made a typo in my acct #. They were very unforgiving and refused to credit me back that $15. Poor customer service.

I agreed to all terms of the loan that I e-signed onto. But I was not given the verbal agreement with Jeff **. He wants to make it seem that I misunderstood the date the loan was to start. Not true. I was aware that the FreedomPlus loan started Dec. 16th. He assured me that the loan would finance by Fri., Nov. 2nd (my birthday). If it would have been true I would not have to make the loan payment with One Main therefore, I would have had a great birthday! Needless to say, that payment was taken out of my account and then I had late payments on other bills I would have been able to pay.

Today is Wednesday the 7th and my cards still have not been paid off. I have call Nicholas ** at least 5 time and emailed at least 5 times and no response!! I just would like some reassurance that it will be paid and when. Terrible customer service experience.

Although there were obstacles because my credit score was not as desirable as most would like, I truly think that he believed I was trying to take the steps in the direction to get my credit score up, and did what he could to help me achieve that. I was able to complete all the information through my phone, and he even taught me things I didn't even know my smart phone could do. He spent a lot of the day on the phone with me, and answered every time I called, which I find very scarce nowadays. Very good experience! The loan process was great, and the service worker made sure only the accounts I show to payoff was listed or the payoff was within a certain payment, and rate I could afford... the amount of time it took to receive the loan was little longer than expected, but it was a holiday that was was between payoffs, so they was a little more time spent getting the accounts paid.

Watch out people. It might be a scam. They took all my information, did a personal interview, I emailed all my documents including voided check, then I never heard from them anymore. I called and email several times to see why they are not responding to me, but no one answers me back. I am reporting them to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Had a great experience. Would recommend this company to anyone. The loan was completed and approved the same day (I was refinancing a loan). The original loan did take about 3 days. Brittney was a great help, she kept me informed with what was going on.

My rep was super nice and I never felt pressured. Great customer service skills. He was about to leave for the day, and even though he didn’t have a status, he called to let me know he was leaving and would call me back next business day.
