My main experience was with Debora **, who was especially professional, friendly and helpful with my transaction. I was a bit upset with the extra charges added to my balance because instead of my balance remaining the same, it increased 5% so that I'm once again starting out with a higher balance. All seems to be well now that we are complete, but Don confused me all along the way. In the first place I told him I would need a cosigner and provided him with my father's email address and told him to reach out. Instead, he submitted my application and I was rejected. I emailed him twice and he would not respond to those emails. Then I called and he didn't seem to understand why I was confused. Then a lot more confusing back and forth where I had to repeatedly follow up and what Don needed versus what he asked for in emails was not always consistent. I was glad when it was over with.

Because of them I don't have worry about what bills are due and when I should pay them without lowering my checking account. Or when the auto pay will kick in and is there enough in the account at any given time.

We did go with the loan however the representative who we were dealing with was very frustrating. She had to keep asking for the same information, sent information to the wrong email address, then got information wrong and we had to give it to her until she got it right. We didn’t get the rate or the original loan amount we wanted and then she kept changing the terms and didn’t explain why very well. Just dissatisfied with her in general as she did not seem knowledgeable or confident in her information she was giving.

I called to complete your welcome review, though I was already a customer and shouldn't need to redo all of that. Then, I asked about my old loan and if it had been paid off so my withdrawal wouldn't come out this month. Of course, it had not. I am constantly disappointed by your company. I keep hoping you'll do something right to bring me back to your side, but alas it hasn't happened. First, you helped destroy my credit by not paying off a lender that you assured me you had paid off. Then, you wouldn't refinance my loan due to said destruction of credit. Then, someone was supposed to work with me to make the refi happen. Nope. Then, I finally get the refi and am told I should be able to skip this payment because you should be able to get money to yourselves within the 9 days since we signed everything to when the payment was due.

Most financial institutions go through the contract with you and are up front. We trusted you did the same; however, YOU DID NOT!! Not when we signed and not when we reviewed payments. NOT ONE PERSON NOTED THERE WAS A $375 fee, NOT ONE!!! When I called to complain, the ** on the phone got an earful because she was VERY condescending. WE ARE NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! WE WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING YOU. I have never had a financial institute "slip" the fees by me! In the end, my bad for not reading everything, but again, I truly thought the amounts discussed were right! I could go on, but I feel that you get my point!

I did a refinance w/ FP back in February!! Loan office was great. Everything was submitted and turned in, and two weeks later FP takes a payment out of my account for the old Loan that had been closed. Then when I call for a refund, I was told no problem 2-3 days. Call back again, get the same thing but since February 19th was a Holiday give until the end of the week. I call again, I get a different story and now told I will not get back my complete total of the payment that was taken and not authorized due to the fact the loan passed the payoff amount. NO not true, the loan amount was pulled and the new loan was submitted w/in a day and finalized. This is not my fault or my issue or should cause me to not get my complete refund just because you guys didn't file it or do what YOU needed to do on your end, I should not get penalized for it!! It is now March 9th!!! and I still have no refund... This is unacceptable.

When I signed up for this Brittney ** couldn't wait for me to get everything together. I have called her many many times and she will not get back to me. I have no contract she said I'd get and when checks were going to be sent out to my cards. I'm really upset set she couldn't get back to me. I do not want email bill I want a paper bill. As a result I not know what's been paid and I'm going to get late charges. She can't be at a meeting or with someone else every minute of every day.

We found FreedomPlus through Lending Tree online. The loan process was fast and the loan officer was thorough and efficient. We were funded within a few days as promised by the lender. Getting our access to the website took a couple of tries though it was not hard, the website did not accept my information to create a login and password the first time around. Customer service was slow to respond to my email for help - 2 days... Eventually I tried again after they got back to me and I was able to log in with no problems.

Was kind of surprised by the all phone interaction when most lenders do everything online today. Was also surprised that I don't have anything that gives me online access to my account. Other than that the person we worked with was great.

It is pretty interesting that in 2018, a bank is not capable to offer direct deposit payments to customers. If your loan office guy would have disclosed that I had to send a cashier's check every month, I would have gone with another lender.

Then, my loan funded and they had my routing number/acct number completely wrong. It was a completely different bank. How does that happen? On top of all this, my first payment drafted today and it's not due until 3/16. Basically, they drafted my first payment and I'm still waiting on my loan to fund correctly. BIG BIG UNEXCUSABLE errors that have caused a lot of grief.

I was not completely satisfied with the overall leading experience. The overall interest rate and payment date. I do not feel that I received the full amount of days prior to the first payment due date and one of my credit cards are still not paid off.
