When I opened the letter to find the phone number to call, OF COURSE, an individual whose 2nd language was English answered the call. They wanted to "verify" that I was who I said I was, which, ironically, was what I was attempting to do with them..... I *never* applied for a loan from this company..... and when a "business letter" shows one address in the main letter (Phoenix, AZ) and another in the body of the letter (in New Jersey, another "shifty" state) - If that's not a "red flag", I don't know what is!!!!

This is my second loan with Achieve and both times have been a very good experience. Gerardo was especially helpful. I talked to him a few times and he always answered my questions right away. In fact I just referred one of my friends to Achieve. We will be calling tomorrow to set up the loan.

Dealing with Achieve is a total and complete waste of time. Predatory in nature. Will call you over and over to offer you a loan from them that you really don’t want. Will badger you in to believing it would be the best thing for your credit profile. They’ll hassle you and badger you about your personal affairs that have nothing to do with your ability to pay. Total nightmare to deal with. Not worth it for a small personal loan less than 6k. I’d rather save my bandwidth for a mortgage lender. Just got to your credit union or bank, especially if you actually have the credit and means to pay. They’re not worth it.

After a hard pull, I received a conditional approval. While I understand what conditional means, there was no expectation of a denial following timely submission of all requested documents. With a credit score in the mid 700's, a 7 figure salary and no debt aside from deferred student loans, it's not rational that they'd decline a loan for 30k.
