What is eFile?

Along with having access to tax professionals, eFile also offers tax over 15 free tax calculators and tools, including a tax return estimator and calculators to help you discover your tax bracket and personal tax rate.

With eFile you can file individual tax returns, including taxes if you are self-employed, through its premium services. However, it does not offer tax filing options for business owners. All e-filing is secured with SSL protection and is encrypted between eFile’s web servers and your browser. The company says that its hardware servers are located in a non-disclosed, limited-access area with constant monitoring.

Once you create a free account with eFile, you can start filing your taxes. If it is your first time with eFile, you must input everything manually. If you choose to use eFile again, your previous year’s information will upload automatically.

The eFile platform will guide you through filling out your taxes and allowing you to access every form that relates to your tax situation. If at any point you need help, you can contact one of its Taxperts.
