Best Egg makes applying for a personal loan very simple and the initial inquiry does not affect your credit score. You fill out the form and they come back and tell you how much you qualify for. You can then accept that amount or choose a lesser amount. You can also choose the interest payback option that works best for you. You also get to choose if you want to either add the application fee to your loan which of course will increase your loan amount or have it deducted from your loan amount. They send you emails so you don't have to guess about the status of your loan. A representative will call to confirm your info and then in a matter of 1-3 days you are approved and the money is in your bank account. Using autopay ensures that your payments are always on time, just make sure that the funds are in your account.

I held a personal loan with Best Egg. Due to temporary personal hardship circumstances, I was unable to comply with my loan agreement and had to negotiate a settlement with the company. I completed the settlement on schedule and the loan was closed. Best Egg reported the loan as closed to the various credit bureaus. Having fully understood the underlying tax implications, which will see the amount written off being designated as income on my next tax filing, I was hoping to see a possible increase in my credit score, having now closed an account and lowered my overall credit balance.

Best Egg has been my best experience by far in taking out a loan. The loan process itself was quick and easy. And my dealings with customer service since taking out the loan have all been very helpful. Recently I had to change a payment date and the process was very fast and easy with no problems whatsoever.

I set up my routing information and then my bank account information. I have a lot of background in the financial institution world but I think the process would’ve just been easy for anybody. Things have been great and I was fine with the rate.

I requested a preapproved loan on Credit Karma and Best Egg was one of the top one that came up and had the best rates. There were a couple of things like submitting documents that took a little bit more time. But other than that, the process was really simple compared to other lenders. It was easy. I needed to have them verify my bank account because they needed a check from me and I didn't have a check for that bank account. So, they got on the phone and called my bank along with me and verified everything was correct. I received the funds in one day. I'm pretty happy and the rate and terms were fair.

My experience with Best Egg initially was good. They did what they said they would do. They gave me a great rate. I paid up a bunch of bills with it, and I did some home improvement. And I did it again, and everything worked right. The third time I tried to do it, they kept denying me. They kept sending me pre-screened offers, but then when I would apply, they would deny me saying that my debt to ratio income was too high. What I tried to explain to them is that I did this on my own. I'm married, but I never involved my wife. She has an income and even though she benefit from what I did, I never involved her with it. But they never took her income in consideration. They just kept denying, and I got frustrated with them and I ended up getting another loan company at a slightly higher rate. I wasn't happy about that.

The annual percentage rate and the terms of the loan is kind of high, but I needed to have it. And the payment plan was affordable.

I felt confident with the rep. Also, the rate and terms were pretty fair.

I was very impressed and satisfied with the whole experience. However, I did not recieve a copy of the loan agreement and would like one. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the quick and efficient process. That is about all I can add.

We did a LendingTree thing one time and since then, I’ve been getting some emails every day to borrow money from various lending agencies. I looked up Best Egg four years ago and everything has been good so far. It has been a while since we established the loan and I called recently since I had a little hardship going on and I asked for a little extension for this month’s payment. The rep was very helpful. I had some grace periods accrued, which is good news, so I hope next month I can get on track, but if not, I was told to give them a call and I need to extend it again. I wish I could borrow more money because I could definitely use it again.
