I got flyer after flyer from these people. I was foolish enough to take a look. Flyer starts off 4.99% but goes up to 29.99%. They state they are great getting you a lower rate however, not by much. In short, you are paying the same as you started for your rate. My rate was about 14.5% for 3 years to pay off and about 20% for 5 for a 35K loan. In addition, they didn't even start telling you about the fees that will be associated. In short, I would be paying about the same rates as the cards but also have to pay fees... pretty much paying more for the loan. I got an email from them... two now... talking about how great my rate is. Not really.

Every week I kept getting offers in the mail from Best Egg, Months later I needed to get a loan. I decide to look to see if I had any offers that recently came in the mail, Yes I had one, I needed $$,$$$ dollars so I called them up, that was on a Friday night, they told me that everything would have to be reviewed by another dept to see if I would need to send proof of my info. I was able to work out the details of my loan fairly quickly. Chat was useless and annoying. I wanted to find out how much the upfront fee was, to make sure I was asking for enough to cover my loan consolidation, but chat obviously couldn't answer questions like that.
