I secured a loan through Discover to pay off my Best Egg loan. Funds were sent to Best Egg 7 weeks ago. I have been dealing with customer service on both ends since trying to get the loan paid off. Each one is blaming the other. No one is being helpful. The funds were sent electronically, but Best Egg says they don't accept 3rd party funds electronically. They asked for a fax confirmation from Discover, which has been sent 3 times. The blame game has gone on long enough. I am now paying on a Discover loan to pay off Best Egg and the Best Egg loan because they won't acknowledge it has been paid. NEVER NEVER have another vendor monies on your behalf.

Most places you have to sign a form with new info on it & that's the back & forth thing that I get aggravated with, but I did it all by phone, love it, so easy to talk to & deal with. I was given a preapproved loan application and I applied. They asked for a lot of sensitive information including (I was not happy about this) access to your banking to verify, my mortgage company never asked for that just statements. After I gave them everything they wanted a representative called me to ask me more questions then they denied me. I make enough to pay the loan and then some with my salary but they kept saying they could not give me the loan. I really feel this was a scam to steal our personal information. Please beware of them. They were very uncaring and insensitive.

Best Egg needs to be more in tune with the consumer. Other than that, things are going well and I've been paying this off.

Christmas is coming. I'm gonna apply for another loan. I pay them on time. I should be able to get another loan." They would not give me another loan because of those first two payments.

Best Egg was the quickest with responding and delivering the funds. They are also a bit more flexible than the others and the rates are decent. They could be a bit lower, though. The better the rate that they give me, the longer I'll be as a customer. One suggestion I have is a loyalty program. In the past, I've had a bunch of loans at one servicer and all them were paid off early. That should tell them something but most of the loan providers don't look at that and that's very unfortunate.

Don’t bother, they hate self employed individuals. Have good credit. Made over 100k. Just wanted to get a small loan to use for a temporary investment. Was going to pay it off within months. Wasted my time and brought down my credit by running my credit. Then had the nerve to say, I said I was a salary person. Still ran my credit to say because I am self-employed they couldn’t give me the loan. Don’t bother. Or they just don’t want to give them to Latin self-employed.

Sometimes, I was a week early, sometimes it was on the day, so the interest rate kind of changes a little bit. If you pay it early, naturally, your interest isn't going to be as high.
