I saw Best Egg on Credit Karma and I applied for a consolidated loan. They sent me a link, I filled it out and submitted it. I had a couple questions, so I left part of it blank. They called me to make sure everything was okay, and they answered my questions. Within a few days, it was submitted and the money was in the account. The application process was very straightforward. It was very easy and it didn’t take very long. Also, the specialist was excellent. I was impressed with the whole process when they spoke to me. They were very knowledgeable and I had time to speak. It wasn't like they had an agenda.

Honest marketing will get my attention faster than anything and the offers that were on the post card that I got from Best Egg did not seem too good to be true or too little for them to be a reputable company. Their terms were also very reasonable, were exactly as advertised, and there were no smoking mirrors. Then there is ANOTHER piece of paper "Pay off your credit card debt in as little as 36 months.* (notice the asterisk). NOWHERE does it indicate that your credit report WILL NOT be impacted! Now for the "Prescreen and OPT-OUT notice", on the bottom back page, will send you to a totally different location. I take companies at their word.

I wanted to consolidate credit card debt and reached out to a lender I had previously worked with and the offer they gave me was not what I was expecting so I looked at online reviews and found Best Egg and filled out the application and when I called to speak to someone about some confusion I had with the information I needed to supply, they not only answered my question but took care of the rest of the application and approval right then on the phone including calling my bank to verify they could transfer money in and out of the account I listed. The interest rate from Best Egg was half of what the other lender had offered me and the money was in my account in less than 48 hours.

Best Egg was quick and easy to use with ability to complete the entire process online. I am happy with the experience. However, I did notice that when I set up my online profile, my account has been set for auto-draft, which I do not want. I don't remember making this choice, so that makes me think that it was somewhere in some fine print and was not emphasized or brought to my attention particularly during the application and acceptance process. I now will have to call someone to have it changed. This I am not happy about because I feel like I have been somehow forced into an auto-draft status for my monthly payment.

Was overall satisfied with my experience- don't understand the mandatory auto payment. I was eligible for 4.99% interest so obviously I pay my bills and if I wanted it waived I would have to pay $7 a month... Thought that was another ploy to get money out of customers. Will keep this loan until I find another.

My loan was for 13,500 and I got 13,500 minus 800. The loan was funded in about three days. I've read some reviews and people were really upset about their rate and terms. I felt Best Egg was really transparent and upfront about those. For someone like me with a credit score of 600, it was the best I could do and the rate was only 19.9%. With all the credit cards I had, I was paying 29%. So, I figured I was going to come out ahead and be totally out of debt in 3 years. Overall, getting a loan from Best Egg was a great experience. My credit core shot up 50 points in less than 2 months. It hasn't been cheap but still it was a second chance and a godsend.
