Best Egg sent several letters which I saw on my iPad. After I read all the information, I felt that their rates were very good. So I just filled out an application on my iPad and then they called me back to talk to me. It took several days to get it approved because I first had applied for more, and then I figured that I could use less than what I had applied for. So, I applied for less. In the end, I still received a personal loan. While I feel that they screen thoroughly before they decide for someone to have the loan, everybody that I talked to tried to help me in every way they could. They were very nice and courteous and I was well pleased with the percentage rate. I also had an option of how long to repay the loan. Just in general, all of it I thought was very good.

I was going to close one of the credit cards out, one was $9,000 and one was $11,000. And now, I'm just going to keep one credit card for totally emergency. I'll pay it and be in good shape. If I ever need anything on emergency again, I'd call them. The way they handle things with credit scores and stuff, it's easy. If you have a good credit score, they're the easiest thing to go to otherwise, you wouldn't want to recommend them because it probably couldn't get them approved.

Seems moronic to send me mail to get me to consolidate with them, to then deny my application. With a 100k salary, I am sure I can get a consolidation loan at my bank or credit union. Not happy I wasted my time with Best Egg. SKIP altogether.

And then, they deposited the money directly into my checking account. The rep that I dealt with was really good and I had a wonderful experience overall.

This is a total scam to get your personal information. Got a 'pre-approved' offer, supposedly based on the credit report info, and after going through the application for a CONSOLIDATION loan, it comes back denied due to 'info on the credit report' and too much debt. No kidding. If I didn't have high balances I wouldn't need to CONSOLIDATE them. I was briefly excited today about taking an 800.00 payment down to around 300, but no. I guess I can't borrow money from this place unless I don't need it. I guess they also didn't approve of my 7.5 years of perfect on-time payments for every bill on my report because my length of credit and payment history was in question. In conclusion, if you've had a card open for 20 years and it has no balance, go ahead and apply for a consolidation loan for it. You might get an offer.

I feel you are getting into my account monthly but I get no reports of changes. It is my opinion you need more contact. I get a notice every month by email of my statement of all my other creditors. I get nothing from you telling me how to check my balance, etc.

Overall the process and experience went okay. A few hiccups due to inexperience customer service reps. They did not seem to know the entire process as far as setting up ACH and verifying with the bank. Other than that I am very happy and satisfied. :>)

I paid my loan payment twice by mistake. I requested a refund for one of the payments. My call with customer service (including time on hold) was 15 min (not terrible, but still a long time), the woman on the phone mumbled, so it was near impossible to understand her. She told me I would see the money back in my account within 72 hours. I called customer service 3 days later since the money was not yet back in my account. I waited another 15-20 min on hold, and then was told that the refund was not approved until the day after I called, so my money has now been tied up for 4 days, plus an entire weekend.

Whole experience took only two days. It was wonderful. We applied online and had our money deposited into our account. The quickest I've ever seen. Making payments is very easy. If you are considering this loan company... read everything!!! I blame myself for not looking that they charge daily interest!! I pay 172.50 a month for a $7000.00 loan. Out of the $172.50... only $82.55 goes to principal and $89.95 to INTEREST!! They tell you to make extra payments and if you want to pay to principal only, you have to call in on the same day your payment is due in order for the extra payment to go to principal only. If you try to pay extra on any other day before your due date they will take interest out of your payment. I will be going to a credit union to pay off this loan by the end of the year.

First off, I received a pre-approved offer for 4.99% up to $40K loan (different payment terms). So I called Best Egg who ran a soft credit pull 3. At that point they quoted three different loan/APR combinations. "Red flag." The lowest APR was 11.99. Why I am qualified for the offer I was pre-approved for, and when they pull my credit it's different? My FICO score is almost an 800 better than your average credit score. My salary is in the top 1% 3 out of a lot of consumers. My debt to income and debt to value ratios are considered excellent. They told me I didn't qualify after doing a hard pull on my credit, taking 2 weeks to get a response, and gave me an interest rate if I was approved of 23.99%. Plain ripoff! I think this is a bait-and-switch scam that should be stopped. No thanks.

I'm a victim of identity theft and have had a fraudulent personal loan opened in my name with a company by the name of BEST EGG/SST. I have a fraud alert on my credit file, and have sent them my police report, affidavit from the FTC, and sent them information regarding this being a fraudulent account. The address on file that BEST EGG/SST have for this fraudulent account does not belong to me, and I've never resided at the address. This company keep trying to validate this account as being a valid account, because this account was opened in my name which is inaccurate. I didn't consent, authorize, apply, nor request for this fraudulent personal loan to be opened in my name. I have several documentations showing that this is a fraudulent personal loan, but this company keep trying to validate this account with the credit bureaus as if this is a valid account.

Best Egg sent an invitation and then I tried to get a loan from them. The loan process took one day. If you are approved the next day it's in your bank. I did it a couple of times for a $20,000 and $10,000 loan. Best Egg is a good company and their loan specialist was nice, professional and courteous.

The process was good, smooth and speedy. It was pretty simple and it took half an hour only because I was asking questions. They also told me what I needed to provide them. The loan specialist was very pleasant and helpful. He answered all my questions and was on target. They were right on time and the funds were in there just like they said.

This seemed like the most legitimate offer. However, and again, these offers should NOT be allowed. They are far fetched and even after they send the PRE APPROVED invitation, and after making the application send you a CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE APPROVED email with the amount of loan and percentage rate. Then they require more information and more documentation. After you send that information, you get a call for yet MORE documentation, on top of what you complied with sending. Now they want Tax returns and schedule C docs... I'm not buying a house, It is a debt consolidation. Like for the amount of debt to lower rates and lower the monthly payment amount. Such a waste of time and now my credit has a damaging inquiry and will lower my credit score.
