    A couple of years back, we were looking for specific tickets and we found them on Vivid Seats. I've had a good experience, so I continued to use them. I like their pricing, but it depends on what the concert is. They're expensive, but I like the seating chart, availability, and the app. Vivid Seats is easy to navigate and it's also easy to receive tickets.     Vivid Seats works with Ticketmaster, and every time I buy from Vivid Seats, they always take me to Ticketmaster. Everything's been fine. I have Vivid's app and I always see if they have good sales. I use the app when I get tickets. I go there and look at seats, then after that, I go in another place and look at how far it is. I've been buying tickets for a little while and I haven't had any problems yet. It's easy for me to get tickets, and I always get the good ones. That's what I look for.

    I get good seats, because if I go to a game, I would like to get in the front seat or the first line. If I get those and a good price, it should be fine. That's what I like. I got a couple points last time when I bought a ticket and that's good ‘cause the price is a little lower. I went to FIFA Club World Cup and if there will be friendly games, I'll definitely use Vivid Seats. I recommend them. I sent the app to a couple of my friends and they’ve been buying tickets from there. My friends love it too.

    Updated on 08/05/2025: This was a really disappointing experience. This was the first time I used Vivid Seats. I clearly will not use this pitiful platform again. Basically it gave a bunch of template corporate, string-along apologies and claims of escalation/supervisor reviews since I made the first complaint from the moment I reached my obstructed view seat and contacted you via chat. It seems evident it had no intention of doing an "investigation", or remedying the situation. I wonder what happened to the company standing behind its product?

    I've bought tickets for numerous events in the past from other vendors. This experience with Vivid Seats is the absolute worst and that is saying something. Their marketing slogan promises an unforgettable experience. Well, it delivers. This has been an unforgettable and regrettable ticket and customer service experience. This is a bad and sad way to do business unVivid Seats.

    Updated on 07/26/2025: This is a terribly operating absentee business. It sold me some obstructed view seats for a 2 day event. The chat customer service just gave corporate runaround answers, and went silent when I repeatedly asked how to get a copy of the chat transcripts. I have chatted with them for over a hour now, with 3-4 different reps. Then it was sent to a higher level evaluation/investigation. This clearly is more jargon to avoid responsibility for misrepresenting the tickets. This was a huge concert in Cincinnati, and now I am chasing these people for a refund. Never, ever again will I deal with this group. I actually canceled a conference to attend this with my wife. Just a bad time.

    Original review: Worst experience ever at an event. It sold me horrible angled, and obstructed view tickets for 2 nights event. Resolution was, "Sorry, we didn't know." Wife and I hated it. Customer chat line is the poorest excuse for customer service I have seen ever. Wow, never again.

    Had to download Vivid Seats AND Ticketmaster, create log in for each, then had to load ticket into Google wallet, which I never use...Awful experience. Waste of time. I expected a readable ticket to be sent directly to my email as has been done in past years. This was a waste of time.

While we would love to be able to offer every ticket in-app or as a download through email, the way you access them depends entirely on how the venue issues your tickets. Some venues exclusively use other apps or services for their ticket transfers, meaning that's how they have to be delivered. Many venues are moving towards digital wallet tickets as they provide an extra layer of security and protection for your tickets to prevent theft or fraud. The good news is that now that you've done this process once, the next time you attend an event with the same type of ticket, it should be much quicker and easier to get through to the point where you can scan your tickets!

    I wanted seats to a minor league baseball game. The team site only had "Standing Room Only" tickets and I cannot stand for very long due to back issues. So I went to Vivid and paid 4x more for tickets because I thought they would be for "seats". A week later the tickets were delivered digitally and they were "Standing Room Only". Customer Service was worthless and only suggested trying to resell them instead of acknowledging they deliberately misled what the tickets were for. I'm never using Vivid again and I hope this review helps someone else from being Ripped Off!

    Online tickets presented as $75, I went to purchase on 3 different devices and none of them went through. I tried calling to purchase the same tickets and when the purchase was about to go through, they informed me the tickets were no longer available. The next tickets were $25 more.     Do not trust Vivid Seats to deliver on its promise to deliver tickets online. I was left waiting outside the London Stadium and not tickets did not come through. Their excuse was that the supplier did not send them. I repeatedly asked their live chat agents to check on the tickets and was assured that the tickets would come through before the start of the event. 3 of the agents even told me that they would personally take on the case and ensure all was OK. Total BS! They use scripted replies and even told me that the tickets would be delivered before the event date whilst in contact with them on the actual day of the event. Do not trust this company and steer well clear if you want your tickets delivered on time or at all!

    I bought tickets for my daughter's first MLB game. We are fans of the opposing team, so this is a once a year chance she will get, if that, to see her favorite team. There was a group of 8ish tickets together. I talked to a very kind gentleman who I shared I'd like the tickets in the bunch farthest to the left closest to the dugout, he assured me he got them for me. I asked multiple times and he told me he did. Once we hung up, about 15 minutes later I received the tickets only to have them be the furthest to the right. I called back and explained I was clear before I made the purchase of what I needed and was told I was given that. Could we possibly message the seller and ask for seats to be switched?

    The person said they would look into it and get back to me in a couple days. A week later, nothing, I reached out again only to be told no absolutely not, we cannot do anything, all sales final. It would be one thing if that was told to me from square one, but I was sent on a wild goose chase and told I would get the tickets I wanted (and paid good money for!) and that I may be able to switch them. I was so upset. Then the Customer Service Rep said... it's in the same row, umm yes, but 5 seats down, also not the point anymore! Very disappointed and not the way to run a business!

    Hi Katelyn, we understand you were disappointed with the location of your seats here and that you wanted to give your daughter a special experience by being seated closer to the Visitor's dugout. When you order tickets for an event from us, we can provide you the section and row, but typically we do not have the seat numbers on hand and cannot guarantee specific seats. This is because the seller may have a group of 8 tickets, and you'll receive a pair of adjacent seats. They can move you around within the group of 8 to ensure that everyone who bought tickets from them is seated together. Still, if a sales agent makes a promise we can't keep, we absolutely want to double check and hold ourselves accountable!

    We reviewed the call in question and can confirm that the agent explained that we can't guarantee specific seat numbers, only the section and row. We're not sure where the misunderstanding about where your seats would be located came from, but we were at least able to verify that the agent did not promise any specific area in the row. We hope that you and your daughter still enjoyed your time at the game, and we recommend next time the team is in town to play that you try to snag tickets in the sections directly behind the dugout so you can get her even closer to her faves!

    We bought 6 tickets thru VIVID and one of our party couldn't make it so we tried to sell one ticket. Vivid makes it very difficult to sell a ticket, had to create a PDF copy and upload it to the site, etc. We won't be using Vivid again, they charge excessively high fees on top of the ticket price too.

    I purchased a ticket through Vivid Seats to see Gary Owen at the Palms in Las Vegas. The digital download of the ticket did not work. I phoned Vivid Seats before leaving my home for the event. According to Vivid Seats’ pre-recorded message, “Please note our phone team heavily prioritizes customers whose events are today or tomorrow…” After 35 minutes on hold, I linked my phone to the car, hoping someone would respond before I arrived at the venue. Upon arriving at the Palms, 30 minutes later, I was still on hold. A Line Security staff member directed me to the box office. The line was incredibly long, as I was not the only one with a ticketing problem, so I remained on hold, hopeful that a Vivid Seats representative would respond before I reached the counter—unfortunately, no such luck.

    Twenty-five minutes later, the box office staff provided me with a paper ticket for entry. I had inadvertently put my phone, while still on hold, in my purse. At the end of the show, I noticed that I was still on hold more than four hours later. So, why is Vivid Seats charging $22.78 for service that they don't provide? And $2.50 Flash Seats fee, by no means did I get to my seat in a flash. My experience illustrates how Vivid Seats “heavily prioritizes customers whose events are today.” This level of poor customer service is inexcusable.

    Hi Patrice, we are grateful for you taking the time to describe your experience with us and what happened when you attempted to locate and use your tickets. The tickets you ordered were issued by AXS, which is also called Flash Seats. This only refers to the delivery method, and is not a promise of instantaneous delivery or quick entry to an event. These tickets cannot be downloaded, and must instead be accessed via the AXS app as these tickets are "rotating QR codes," meaning they change or update every 60 seconds and screenshots are not valid for entry. This uses AXS' proprietary technology, which is why they have to be delivered through their app and not ours, and are not made available to download directly to your phone. In some limited cases they may offer the option to add your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet, but this depends on the venue.

    We apologize for the long wait time on the phone, and we are doing our best to get to every customer that we can. This is our busiest time of year with numerous festivals, NFL Preseason, end of the MLB season, and the start of college sports season all happening at once. This means there are many thousands of fans who have events taking place on the same day as you. We absolutely prioritize same-day events as best we can.

    Thankfully, with AXS tickets, you are able to go to the box office and provide your full name and email address that you used for your ticket order and AXS account, and they will be able to pull up your ticket in their system and print you of a paper stub for entry. This is a great backup system for any time you may have technical issues or connection isn't great and the ticket isn't loading properly on the AXS app. It's also a great option if you happen to not have a phone that is compatible with the AXS app! We're glad they were able to help you out and we hope you understand the reasons for our longer-than-usual hold times. We are actively working on improvements and tweaks to our customer service channels to help ensure that everyone gets the assistance they need.     Tickets were ordered. My wife purchased them and put them in my name then they were canceled. Now we have to wait for a refund! We had to re-purchase them over the phone. The last name is the same. They should've called a phone number before ordering taking the money and then canceling and now having us have to wait for a refund.     VIVID is a total and complete SCAM.... All my friends ordered concert tickets on another site - which were electronically delivered the same date ordered... My ticket from VIVID still hasn't arrived - weeks after I ordered it - and I'm told the concert is selling out. VIVID'S RESPONSE???? Are you ready??? "If your ticket does not arrive by the concert date - we'll give a refund." are you kidding me???? Do yourself a favor and don't EVER order tickets from VIVID.

    Hi M, we totally get why you'd be a little concerned about your ticket! As a marketplace, the tickets sold through our site are listed by individuals each with their own limited quantity of tickets. It's quite typical these days that venues not only release tickets in batches (to help prevent site crashes from a huge influx of traffic) but also that they disable transfers between accounts for some or all tickets until closer to the event. Some sellers also wait until closer to the event date just in case something goes awry, so they have time to fix it before they send your ticket over - that means less overall stress for you! It looks like your ticket was transferred successfully the day before the concert, and we hope you and your friends had a blast jamming out together!

At least with StubHub you can actually speak to customer service.     I have used Vivid Seats several times and never had an issue until this last weekend. I had purchased 2 parking passes for an event over an hour from home. Vivid Seats called me as I was trying to get ready to leave because they needed our plate #’s to pass along to the lot but the person who called couldn’t help me with that. I was told to get online to complete it. Went online but couldn’t even find where to input the info. I called back a couple of times and couldn’t get a real person. I used their live chat and on the 3rd attempt got someone. Gave the plate info then a vivid seats box popped up that I couldn’t close or use the screen. I could see the agent's comments but that was it. Closed it and started a new chat where the agent asked a question and then immediately ended our chat. I gave up and left for the event only to get to Portland and find we were given 2 different addresses for parking.

    I called vivid seats to verify the address and try again to confirm plate numbers. Was put on hold over and over, the person helping me was horribly rude and I was on the phone for so long with them that I was late for my event. I finally gave up and paid at the lot to park only to have the agent come back on the line and yell at me for wasting his time. Are you kidding me? I basically threw away $125 and was treated awful. I contacted them the next day about a refund which they declined. Never acknowledged their wrongdoing or even apologized. It wasn’t the people selling the tickets - it was all on Vivid Seats. Horrible customer service! They talked to me like I was an idiot and wouldn’t even listen to what I was telling them. I closed my account with them. Can’t do business with a company who has no respect or concern for their customers.

    Hey Nitin, the issue you're describing is quite common and the usual reasons include: you're clicking the Magic Link using a different device other than the one on which you've installed the Vivid Seats app (you need to click the Magic Link on your phone or tablet!), your email provider scans the email to provide link previews, which can invalidate the link (try disabling this feature temporarily!), or your Vivid Seats app is not updated to the most recent version (check your phone's App Store equivalent for updates!). We see that you were able to download your tickets successfully, so it looks like you were able to get this issue resolved on your own. Hopefully now that you've had some experience with troubleshooting, it will be much easier to resolve this if you run into the same problem in the future.

    If I could leave a review with 1/2 a star or less I would! Paid for a parking pass. Got to the event to find the parking lot full. I was there 1.5 to 2 hours before the event. I had to pay to park elsewhere. Contacted them and they tell me that it states on my parking pass first come first serve basis! Laughable! It never stated that. Then they proceed to tell me that it said on the parking pass what time I needed to arrive by.... Yeah, it stated the event start time. They kept feeding me ** that they could not show me. What a SCAM!!!! Chatted several times about this and kept getting told they were investigating it.... Live chat and phone call. They repeatedly lie to you. Then to tell me on Day 5 of chatting that it was first come first serve. They are committing theft by doing this. I will never use them again, and will tell everyone about this!

    When entering my credit card info I put in my billing address for the credit card which is a PO box. The website said that was not allowed because they don't ship to PO boxes. Dumb because you are not shipping anything there and dumb because it is the BILLING address on the credit card not a shipping address. I tried the street address but the bank declined the charge of course. I called the number and spoke to May who was very helpful and pleasant but every word I spoke was loudly echoed back to me and it was hard to speak clearly constantly waiting for the echo to die down.

    If I could give a 0 star I would. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Overnighted tickets on a Thursday for a concert that started the next Wednesday. Have called multiple times talking to multiple rude individuals including the self proclaimed “owner” “Elise”. Tickets never showed up and no refund allowed. This place is a complete scam don’t buy tickets through them.

    They send so many spam emails that my tickets were delivered to my spam and I couldn't find them. Don't use them. I tried to contact them to explain that I couldn't find my tickets but their phone line was just a bot and were not helpful at all without an order number that was in my spam.

    They don’t return tickets. Don’t even offer a grace period. You should have a BIG sign on your website that says NO RETURNS. People should NOT go through this AT ALL. Wasted of money and time. On top of that the only thing you allow is to resale the tickets which add more to my plate and pretend for me to open a PayPal account to “resale” these tickets. WORST experience of the year. I am a total loss with this website, and I don’t even want the tickets anymore.

    Not sure what I am being asked to rate here? I am EXTREMELY upset and frustrated with my experience with buying on Vivid Seats, but the customer service rep. did a very good job in dealing with a very bad situation. So, my Rating of Vivid Seats is 1, the worst possible! My Rating of the Customer Service Rep. is a 4/5; Very Good.

    After spending considerable time searching for tickets that would accommodate my family and represented a fair value, I purchased 5 tickets located near each other in two separate transactions. Thinking that I was all set for the event, I went about planning the weekend, adding hotel reservations and dealing with other logistics.

    Then, to my utter shock and disappointment, about 10 days later, I received an email that I needed to contact Vivid Seats 'Immediately' about an issue with my tickets. It seems that the Seller incorrectly listed the tickets, and what I thought was a contractual business commitment/transaction and done deal, turned into an major upset and frustration as the tickets I thought I purchased were in fact not available and were incorrectly listed by the Seller. If you put yourself in my place, I hope you can understand my extreme frustration and disappointment in trying to purchase tickets from Vivid Seats. I read where Vivid Seats 'verifies' Seller tickets before listing them for sale.

    This obviously did NOT happen in my case. The experience that I have suffered through is a major threat to the Buyer-Seller relationship that Vivid Seats represents and guarantees. If a Seller is permitted to misrepresent their ticket offering, how can a Buyer make a Vivid Seat purchase with any confidence? My transactions represent a significant time-investment and $ expenditure from my perspective, and I ended up with a great deal of frustration and upset with my Vivid Seat experience! NOT a HAPPY CAMPER here...

We don't verify tickets specifically, as we don't have integration with every single ticket system, which is why we do our due diligence at the seller level. While rare, occasionally sellers list their tickets on multiple sites and they may accidentally confirm orders but have miscounted how many tickets they have left. In these cases they typically try to offer replacements, but given that you would be attending with family, those replacements didn't work with your plans. That's okay, that's why we have agents to help save the day! We were able to get you replacement seats that were closer to the tickets in your other purchase in the end.     The parking ticket I bought said was .8 miles from the venue and was further.! It was a 30 minute walk.! Secondly 34$ I paid and found 15$ parking a lot closer. I mean A LOT closer.     I’ve purchased tickets through Vivid Seats such as Rise Against, Portugal, The Man, Zeds Dead, and Lady Gaga. I use them because of the availability. It is also a convenient one-stop shop for getting your tickets. They’re all in there. It’s easy to find them, easy to pay the price. Their website is user-friendly.

    There was a little bit of confusion around specific pre-sales, this presale versus that presale. Do you qualify for this one or that one? Which seats are you available to purchase, depending on which pre-sale you're in? That's pretty specific, though, to big concerts, big pre-sale, trying to get in under the wire kind of thing. But in general, Vivid Seats is quite good. And they also have a reward program where, for every 10 tickets, you get free tickets or something.

    I bought a ticket for a concert, and accidentally bought one for the wrong day. But I forgot to protect it. So I couldn't refund it. So I tried to sell it and the process was extremely confusing and I don't think I ever fully figured it out. The part of the process where I have to transfer my ticket to your guys' team so they can sell it it was very unclear. The type of ticket I have is an electronic transfer ticket and nowhere on your website did it say how to transfer it to you guys. All it said was that all I had left to do was transfer it. But it didn't tell me how to do that. I emailed you guys about it, but it's been a few days and I haven't gotten any response. I'm not convinced that I'm able to sell my ticket, even though your website says I should be able to sell that kind of ticket through you guys. There's also no way to sell tickets through the app, it's only on the website. That was very confusing and seems like an oversight.

    I bought “Hamilton” tickets more than 6 months in advance, and two days before the performance I got notified that the tickets were not available. Of course by this time it was too late to repurchase them. Customer service was a bot that repeatedly said the same thing. So what if they refund your money, but two days before the performance seems like a scam.     I bought tickets through Vivid website. I was then instructed to download the Vivid app to access the tickets. After downloading the Vivid app,. I was instructed that I need to download the Ticketmaster app to access the tickets. After I downloaded the Ticketmaster app, I was told I need to download Google Wallet.     BUYER BEWARE! I ordered Stanley Cup playoff tickets a week in advance. The order said I would have them by 6/9 which is the day of the event. I chatted with support the evening of 6/8 due to not having the tickets. They basically said there was nothing they could do. Here it is the day of the event, we have a 3 hour drive to the event, and still no tickets. I chatted with support, still nothing they can do but they will refund if the tickets don't show up. THAT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME!! We bought a hotel and have a long drive. They won't contact the seller either, just keep blowing me off. This is ridiculous, $950 purchase. BUYER BEWARE.

    I tried to access my tickets the day of the event and I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get to them. I never had to make a Ticketmaster account to access tickets purchased through Vivid Seats before. I eventually was able to access my tickets but not before being redirected repeatedly and having to make a ticket master account. I also was unable to add the ticket to my Apple Wallet

    The transfer of the tickets to Ticketmaster didn’t work. It just loaded for an hour and a half and I couldn’t get in.     Do not buy tickets through Vivid Seats. I just used them for the first and last time. I bought a ticket to the AC/DC concert in Nashville and it was cancelled. It was cancelled to the next day after I drove all the way down there. Vivid Seats won’t give me a refund and blames it on Seat Geek and when I call Seat Geek they blame it on Vivid Seats. I have notified my credit card company. You will have to get your credit card company involved. Don’t ever use a debit card to purchase tickets with these scam companies like this.

    If you use Vivid Seats and a concert is cancelled or postponed; you will NOT be refunded by Vivid Seats. They will scam you out of your money. Below I have posted picture proof that the concert was scheduled for May 20th but was postponed until May 21st. I bought my overpriced ticket for May 20th and could not make it May 21st and so it should be an obvious refund. If this was Ticketmaster there would be no issues but we are talking about Vivid Seats here.

    My recent experience with Vivid Seats was extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a first time user, I expected the ticket delivery process to be simple and reliable especially since I was trying to attend a time-sensitive event. Unfortunately, it was anything but. After purchasing the ticket, I was required to verify both my phone number and email address. I was able to verify my phone, but I never received an email verification code, despite multiple attempts. This prevented me from accessing my ticket entirely. I reached out to support before the game, but the issue wasn't resolved in time, and I missed the event including the promotional giveaway I was looking forward to.

    In a time sensitive situation, it should be enough to verify either a phone number or an email not both. Requiring both creates unnecessary obstacles and delays.

    To make matters worse, the additional step of accessing the ticket through Ticketmaster was confusing and not clearly explained. The process should be more intuitive, or at least provide the option to continue as a guest, rather than forcing users to sign in or create a new Ticketmaster account. Overall, the experience was a mess, and I’m now hesitant to purchase any more tickets this season. I'm still hoping to hear back regarding my refund request, which I believe is valid under your Buyer Guarantee.

    That was a frustrating experience. The seats are not Clearview seats unless you are over 6 foot four. The signs hanging on the fence are right in your way of the front row. Both of my sons could not see over the signs without standing up. Pretty frustrating for $150 per ticket.

    Horrible, it literally took me and another person almost 2 hours to find our tickets. First, we had to download Vivid app, then guess what? They're not there. It says, "Oh you have to download another app." 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ So frustrating when you're at the ballpark trying to get in. Ya, never again.

    The Vivid seats site and app work functionally. Usually when I’m trying to get a ticket quickly there’s not a problem unlike some websites. They actually have them customer service that’s responsive and I really love the different incentives. They have on the app game Center area. It’s cute. Don’t hesitate to find a last-minute ticket!

    I paid for a parking pass through y'all. The lot did not exist. I drove around for over an hour, asked at least 10 officers and event staff and no one knew where the parking was.     I was expecting the parking to be ready as soon as I made payment since I was basically there. However it didn’t become available for 30 more mins or so, the concert started at 630 and I believe I got there around 710. Because of that I had to spend another 40 dollars for different parking because IDK what I would’ve done until 741 when the notification came through parking was ready. I got the notification parking was finally ready. I have screenshots of that. I paid through Klarna. I already talked to a customer service agent. Hopefully I will be getting some kind of refund. Klarna has already taken my first payment and I didn’t even use the pass. Also it gave no information on where I’d even go to park so it was stressful and wasted. Screenshots show me finally walking up to stadium at 722. The tickets were ready at 741. I paid around 650 when I was already in the line of cars to park. All pictures are time-stamped.

    Do not buy tickets through this ** app under any circumstances. I was unlucky enough to buy tickets for a concert that I paid for more than six months before it started. I chose the section and row that I was most interested in. As a result, 3 days ( 3 days Carl!!!) before the concert I receive tickets with another section and another row that I am not interested in at all and technical support tells me that according to the rules they can replace the tickets with any similar ones.
