    Original Review: April 25, 2021

This company is the most unprofessional and corrupt company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I used this company to book a trip to the Bahamas for my girlfriend and I. First off, the booking process was extremely difficult, but after hours we finally got someone on the phone to book the trip. They proceeded to book the completely wrong dates for us, so I called the hotel directly the week before we were going to make sure everything was set, and they let us know our trip had come and past and we were a no show. I did not receive one piece of communication from Tickets at Work asking why were no shows or maybe a final bill receipt. They got their money on the front end and they gave zero regard to make sure the customer was taken care off.

After this, we booked directly through the hotel because Tickets at Work was completely unresponsive we ended up getting a better deal from the hotel after explaining to them our horrible experience with Tickets at Work. We then got a tickets at work supervisor on the phone after hours and he assured us in an email of a full refund back to my AMEX if the hotel would refund them in full. We had the Director of Rooms at the hotel send them a full refund and have email confirmation of the full refund. Once they got their full refund, Tickets at Work proceeded to start with giving me a tickets at work credit for HALF my money... I then told them this was unacceptable so they decided to have half a conscious to refund my AMEX for HALF my money.

Sooo, where did the other half of my money go after Tickets at Work got a FULL refund? You all decide! Maybe the staff went out of my dime! I would never recommend this company to anyone and we know this company has a partnership with Disney. Thankfully I have a close family member that works at Disney, so we are already in the works of getting Disney to cease this partnership immediately!

    Thanks for your vote!

I usually don’t write reviews on companies, but I literally keep getting the run around from Tickets at Work! I purchased a car rental from an agency through this company for my birthday. Tickets at work took the money off my card for the rental. Once it was time for me to get the rental I was not able to get the rental because the card I used to purchase the rental was a prepaid debit card. Had I known I would of used a different card, but that’s besides the point. The rental car agency told me that since TAW took the money off my card they would have to give the refund. I have been contacting TAW for the past 3 weeks trying to get my refund and have been getting the run around. All they want to offer is a credit which I told them from the beginning I did not want! I would never use this company again!

I booked a 2 night hotel stay with Ticketsatwork. Unforseen circumstances came up and I had to cancel. When I booked the booking fine print stated I could get a full refund and free cancellation if it was cancelled before 4/22/2021. I canceled today 4/16/2021 which was is way before the 22nd and well within the time period to receive a refund. Then I get an email stating I can only get a voucher. I did not agree to a voucher and am unable to use this.

That money was for my daughter’s gymnastics competition travel and since the event was moved we are unable to book elsewhere without a refund. This is ruining a little girl's chance at competing and you aren’t honoring your agreement set out when I booked. I’ve tried to call customer service and sit on hold for hours with no answer. Not only is this poor business practice but it is absolutely horrible customer service. I will make sure to tell all of the employees of the company I work for not to use your site or book with you due to these shady practices. Tickets at Work needs to make this right!

I have had two issues just this year. Most recently TicketsatWork advertised a one bedroom suite in Cancun. When I arrived for my reservation, I was given a basic hotel room. I was promised a refund by the property, but Ticketsatwork claims the property did not authorize a refund. Ticketsatwork acknowledged that I was downgraded but has told me to kick rocks. In February, I purchased a room in Las Vegas and they lowered the advertised price. When I asked Ticketsatwork to honor the new price, they stated they had to cancel my reservation and rebook. When I arrived for my reservation, I was told that I had two reservations and would be charged for both rooms. I have yet to receive a refund when it was a failure on their part for not canceling the room. There is zero accountability with this company.

If I could rate this any lower than one star I would! Went on to the TicketsatWork website to purchase Legoland tickets for my family trip to Chicago. There were not enough tickets available for the time I needed so I kept getting an error message. Finally I said forget it and backed out of the purchase changing our plans. 30 mins later I get an alert in my email that the transaction went through! I immediately called tickets at work and they said there was nothing they could do but they submit a complaint for a refund.

Surprise, I was refunded a voucher to use in the future! My card information was used because of a website glitch and I am being punished by not receiving a refund. I cannot get anyone to answer my complaint or attempt to fix the issue. It wasn’t like I purchased something and changed my mind days or even hours later. My card was charged because of a problem with their website. Now they are refusing to correct it with a refund! After this situation there is no way I will ever use this site again, why in the world would I want a voucher for the future.

    Updated review: April 2, 2021

Richard from Consumer Affairs, in conjunction with TicketsatWork, was amazing. He listened to my concerns and immediately got me my refund.

    Original Review: April 2, 2021

After being referred by my employer, I booked a car rental through this service for 9 days. It was for a minivan rental and the car rental agency was Avis. I walked through the website and placed the order with a debit card. At no point in the purchase process is there a warning stating this rental vendor requires a credit card. When I arrived to pick up the van, the rental agency wouldn't release it to me because I only have a debit card. They said to contact TicketsatWork and request a refund because I was not eligible for the rental. Since I still needed a car, I used my debit card to rent through Enterprise with no issue.

As I was leaving the Avis counter, I called TicketsatWork to request my refund and gave them the reason supplies by the rental company. The rep kept trying to give me a credit voucher but I finally got through to him that I want the money refunded to the card it was charged from. He said they needed approval from their partner and I would receive an update in 72 hours. He also stated the whole process should be resolved and refunded back within 10 business days.

After 72 hours, I got an email saying there was no update. Same thing after another 2 days. I called and spoke with another rep who said they have to get the money back from the vendor before they can refund my purchase but since we are still within the 10 day period, to sit tight. After the next "72 hours with no response" email, I called Avis directly. Avis states they do not receive payment for a rental reservation until the car is picked up. Since I wasn't allowed the car, they didn't receive payment so they don't know why I haven't been refunded.

When I called TicketsatWork again, the manager still insisted that the partner hasn't paid them so they can't pay me. I told the manager I had spoken with Avis and gave them that info and they say they pay a different partner to pay the rental companies and that is who they are waiting for approval from and the only way to contact this partner, Connexions, was through email, once every 72 hours.

At this point, I am extremely frustrated, out another $730 for the Enterprise rental, and just want my money back. I asked the manager what the next step is because we are now past the 10 business days mark. He said to send an email and the 10 business days mark starts over. I told him this is unacceptable and that, while I would give them an additional 10 business days, once that is done I am opening a claim in small claims court for the original rental price, court fees, and lost wages because each of these calls takes at least an hour.

It is ridiculous that I would even have to take that step and it shouldn't be this hard to refund a customer for a rental under $500 on cost. Just be honest and honor the refund. Word of advice, do not use this service. I have put a complaint in with my employer about this service, as well as the BBB and now here.

We’ve initiated a complaint through the Better Business Bureau but keep getting the same canned responses after many attempts to obtain a refund. This shows they clearly do not care about their customers and are only interested in hiding behind policies that do not take into account a global pandemic and stealing our money. Worse, they have issued full refunds to credit cards to others in the same situation as us so there is no reason they should discriminate and not issue us a full refund to our credit card. Here are the details of my experience:

I purchased Disneyland tickets through Ticketsatwork on 01/18/2020 totaling $3,545.88 for a planned vacation Summer 2020. Because of the COVID pandemic and closure of Disneyland we would not be able to use our tickets. Several members of our party are high risk for COVID and could not safely use our tickets for the foreseeable future. My wife sent a Refund Request via their website in July 2020 and received a canned response stating all refund requests were subject to approval from their "partners." I called Ticketsatwork on 7/17/20 & 1/14/21 to request a full refund to my credit card. Each time, the rep advised they needed to check with their "partner" before providing a response on whether they could refund. We received email response after email response stating they were unable to issue a refund.

This back and forth has been going on for 8 months now causing me and my family terrible stress and frustration. Every legitimate business we've dealt with during the pandemic has treated us with respect and understanding. Issuing a credit voucher instead of refunding my credit card is dishonest. Suddenly, we received an email 1/24/21 with a voucher for their site we never asked for and cannot use! I called 1/29/21 to insist on a refund, told to wait to hear from a mgr but no further response. Please have a manager contact us and fully refund our credit card as you’ve visibly done for others who purchased Disneyland tickets!

I made a reservations for a hotel from Ticketsatwork. I called customer service to cancel but Maria, customer rep, claimed that refund is only by credit voucher. I argue that 8 days away from cancellation deadline. She asked the manager then approve credit back on my credit in 60 days upon receipt from hotel merchant. Also the resort fee rate on their website was incorrect, should be $37.43 per room per night and not $13.61 per hotel. Today I checked the website, resort fee shows $33 per night.

They even owned up to the mistake but gave me no recourse and could not change my dates for the hotel. They would not give me my money back and they could not get my dates changed. They should not be allowed to do business. I am out almost $600 and after 7 phone calls to the company. They will not refund my money and they did not get my booking dates changed. A complete scam. I implore anyone thinking of using this company to absolutely DO NOT. This is a terrible company. They take no responsibility for their own mistakes and actions. I must say that I was most impressed by his patience. Thank you Richard, you make it possible for me to trust enough for a repeat visit with this service.

Original: On November 12, 2020, I reserved and prepaid $354.00 for a rental car. When I went to the airport to pick it up, I was told I didn't meet the criteria but could go to another location to pick up a car. Unfortunately, it was closed until 11:00 AM the next day so this wasn't an option. I was given the phone number to Avis customer service to get a refund because I didn't qualify for the rental. When I called, the representative discovered that I used a third party, TicketsatWork, to pay for the rental and therefore, would have to get a refund from them.

I called the customer service number for ticketsatwork but it was a recording stating that all correspondence goes thru email. I emailed them and waited until December 2, 2020 to get a response stating ticketsatwork will not give me a refund. What kind of company takes $354.00, doesn't provide the goods or service, and keeps your money? I will be letting my coworkers know about my experience so they don't have to go thru the same thing. What a shame.

Over a year ago I purchased tickets for my daughter. Over $600. Initially they said no refund because it wasn't canceled but postponed. Now it's canceled and they still won't refund after weeks. They just keep giving a run around about 3rd party approval. Every business has 3rd parties but when a refund is due they refund. Not these guys.

This company is ridiculous. We spent a good amount of money on our tickets through them prior to covid. When the shutdown happened we could not go and they refuse to give us a full refund. I am tired of this company telling me it’s non refundable and that their partner (Sea world) won’t allow the refund. I have spoken to sea world corporate as well as San Antonio and they all stated they would refund us immediately but Tickets at work is refusing to. I have spent many hours calling them to fight it and have gotten no where. They offered a voucher again. Hello we’re in a pandemic we can not travel and won’t jeopardize our health during this time. Especially since I have an immune disorder and my child does as well. Please do the right thing and refund us our money back. It’s several hundred dollars and during this time we could really use it for our family. We will not be traveling at all and don’t care to ever use this site again.

I bought a Ski Ticket as a Christmas Gift for my husband in 2019 the Ticket was to be good till 12/2020. I contacted TicketsAtWork in April 2020 and requested a refund due to the closures caused by Covid-19 there was no way the ticket was going to be used. Their response was "As it relates to your request for a refund for Sierra-at-Tahoe, we are regretfully unable to proceed with issuing a refund at this time. While we understand that your travel plans may be required to change due to recent events, we highly encourage taking advantage of your tickets at a later date. If you can reschedule your visit, we would recommend you do so before they expire. Your tickets will be valid through December 20, 2020".

I thought OK maybe things will get better and we will be able to use the ticket. But as everyone knows the pandemic did not get better and now Tahoe is Shut Down and the ticket can not be used before 12/2020. I contacted TicketsAtWork again and requested a refund as there is no way to use the ticket because Tahoe is closed and again "We understand Sierra at Tahoe has closed due to concerns related to COVID-19. We highly encourage you to retain your tickets to enjoy this exhilarating experience! Due to early closure, our partner has extended tickets so they may be used through December 20, 2020. Regretfully, we are unable to issue a refund for these tickets." Now how do I use something by December 20, 2020 if the City is Closed??? This company has no compassion and will rob you out of money even if you're dead. It's sad that this company is not willing to help customers out even in a pandemic and would rather rob than do what's right.

The manager Richard ** worked quickly on it once he got it. It was a frustrating experience but it was resolved as we requested. I will not buy non refundable tickets again but appreciate that Tickets at Work did the right thing.

Original Review: We purchased 4 adult and two children’s 3day Park Hopper with Disney Max Pass in December 2019 through TicketsAtWork. The tickets expire January 12, 2021. Original reservations set for May 2020. Disneyland closed March 2020. Contacted tickets at work they said tickets still valid when reopen. We rescheduled to October 2020. We had to cancel again due to closure. Contacted Tickets at work numerous times. They told us to wait and see what Disneyland policy was. We contacted Disneyland and they said it was up to agent Tickets at work. We requested a refund from Tickets at work. They denied refund and told us to wait on Nov. 13, 2020, Disneyland still closed with no reopening date.

Tickets will expire in less than two months and no refund or help. We were promised a refund was approved by two of their agents. They did not ever approve a refund as promised. We DO NOT recommend Tickets At Work as they don’t stand behind their promises. We stand to lose $2,300 to them when these tickets expire. We can not use them because of COVID pandemic. Tickets at work is not an ethical nor reliable source of entertainment tickets. We can’t say much good about the Disney Company's practices either.

I have booked reservations for rental cars thru TicketsatWork before and have had no issues until 10/24. I booked a rental car as my car was in the shop thru Budget on their site. Got to the rental location to pick up my car and Budget DOES NOT take Visa Debit cards as payment. I tried to go thru Hertz but they would not rent to me unless I was taking a flight out (rental location was at the airport), so I was stranded.

I called ticketsatwork 3x to try to get my money refunded and spoke with 4 different people (NO FOLLOW THROUGH) and eventually was able to submit a request for refund. I was told it would 72 hours before the request was looked at. What?? 72 hours? Wow! It has now been 3 weeks since my request was taken, I kept receiving emails saying "hey we are really busy, but we will get to your request when we can".. ok?

Today I received an email stating and I quote: "Please note, as Tickets At Work is a third-party facilitating a transaction between you and our partner, we must wait to confirm funds have been received before we can re-issue them to you. Please know these refund times will vary and you will receive regular updates on the status of your refund". Since their partner (Budget) would not take my form of payment they NEVER received the funds, Ticketsatwork did! I will NEVER USE ticketsatwork again. Ever. I am going to discuss with the benefits specialist at my place employment since we use Ticketsatwork as a vendor and see if they can get anywhere with them and maybe find another vendor.

I would not recommend this company. I reserved a hotel room through them and because someone caught COVID, I called them to simply change the date not ask for a refund. The room was the exact same type and the same cost. I was told an "investigation" would be done only for them to send me an automated message saying they would not be able to assist me with my request. I called the hotel to see if anyone from Tickets at Work had called regarding my reservation and was told NO one had called. We could not prevent our circumstances with someone contacting covid. Shame on this company for not having policies in place especially during these unprecedented times to assist customers the best that they can. Now, I have lost over $100 and was not able to change my room to a different date. I made sure to place my complaint with the better business bureau. Do not use them. They are a complete ripoff.

Planned vacation with family to Disney World, Sea World and NASA. About twenty of us in four groups were going. We were all set up for the last week in May. Everybody except for us booked directly. We made the mistake of using TicketsatWork. It was a "perk" at my daughter's work. So of course the parks were closed due to the pandemic at the time we were supposed to be there. The other three groups got their refunds no problem as they booked direct through Disney, etc. Everybody including us have been refunded for airfare, lodging, and car rentals no problem. After several attempts, we've been turned down for a refund from ticketsatwork. So we are out $2600. We are from Wichita, KS and we have been affected by the pandemic so replanning and going to Florida in the next year is not a possibility. One star is too generous. This is just wrong!

What a horrible experience. I honestly cannot express how upset and angry I am after booking a hotel reservation through Tickets At Work. I booked my reservation for October 10, 2020. On October 6, 2020, my entire family tested positive for COVID-19. When I initially called the customer service line, I was promised a full refund. Then, I received an email stating the refund was denied but that I could modify the dates. Which was upsetting but okay.

I attempted to modify my dates and I was advised that I would have to pay an additional fee. After speaking to a supervisor, they advised me that they would request for the hotel to modify without charging a fee. I now received an email stating that I cannot receive a refund, I cannot modify the dates and that I basically lost the $250.00 that I spent because I was sick with the coronavirus. If you value your time and money, I would suggest paying more money by purchasing the product directly from the company. For someone who has worked in customer service for over 7 years, this is absolutely the worst.

My husband and I purchased Disneyland tickets in early February 2020 for a family trip in March 2020, but then COVID-19 happened and we didn’t get the chance to use them. I have contacted this company 4 times as to what could be done since we spent $700 for the trip we’ve been wanting to take for a couple years. I honestly don’t really even want a refund, I want to be able to go once it reopens. The biggest problem with this is that the expiration date of these tickets are January 12, 2021. As of yesterday (10/20/2020) it doesn’t look like Disneyland will be allowed to reopen before January due to state guidelines.

I understand that they are a third party and that refunds are difficult to do but what is so bad about extending the expiration date the same amount of months that the park has been closed? Also they keep telling me that these tickets are considered gate ready and we could transfer them to another party. How in the world would this “other party” use them if the park isn’t even opened?! Ridiculous. I will just go through Disney or a travel agent for my tickets from now on.

Original Review: I had purchased tickets to Disney and Seaworld. I requested refunds for both due to Covid and my compromised immune system. My Disney tickets were refunded in the form of a credit voucher that I can use on the tickets at work website, which is fine with me because I can use this towards the purchase of gift cards. However, they declined my refund request for Seaworld stating I have 1 year to use them from date of purchase. Given the fact that I'm immunocompromised, I do not intend to visit Seaworld or fly on a plane anytime soon. When I first made the refund request I asked them if they wanted me to provide them with proof of my medical condition but they insisted they believed me. Now I'm left trying to decide which email from my surgeon or infectious disease doctor I need to forward to them so that they'll believe me and reconsider my refund request. Instead of waiting 2 months for a refund, Richard processed it right away. He was friendly, warm, and helpful. Thanks!

Original Review: I booked a hotel through Tickets at Work. The rate was advertised as fully refundable up until the day before check-in. I knew I was still doing some shopping around, so I only booked the room because I knew I could cancel. I found a better rate later that same day, so I called to cancel. What a nightmare! The "fully refundable" rate required special approval to cancel. This was not disclosed anywhere! Eventually the customer service rep offered me credit rather than a refund. Again, this policy was never disclosed when I was booking my "fully refundable" rate. After 10 minutes of negotiation, she got me a full refund back to my credit card that would take 3 days for approval.

After 10 days, I hadn't heard anything or seen a refund. I called back only to be told that my refund would take 60 days! Not the 3 days I had previously been told. I will never use Tickets at Work again. Their deceptive practices are simply unethical. And to top it off, it wasn't even a good rate! That's why I wanted to cancel in the first place, because booking directly through Marriott was 10% cheaper.

I booked a rental car through this company for a trip I had planned in July 2020. COVID-19 cases were increasing in the area I was traveling to, and due to travel restrictions, I decided to cancel my trip. I called Hertz to cancel my reservation and they were granting full refunds due to COVID-19. I was told since I had booked through a third party vendor, TicketsatWork, that I would receive my refund through them.

I reached out to TicketsatWork numerous times regarding my cancellation and had to keep following up on my request as I received NO responses from the company. Finally after a month, I received a response stating they were reviewing my request and Hertz was granting refunds on a case-by-case basis. I explained I had already contacted Hertz and was told they were offering a full refund, but this did nothing to expedite my refund request. I even requested the case number they had with Hertz so that I could contact Hertz myself and expedite the request since I already had confirmation this was being refunded.

Almost TWO months after cancelling my reservation and having to follow up multiple times with TicketsatWork I received an email with a voucher for the amount paid. I went to the website to see what I could redeem the voucher for, and the only available options are for travel. Which until there is a vaccine, I will be not be doing any time soon. I have reached out again multiple times requesting a refund from TicketsatWork instead of the voucher. I have received NO response from the company. I have used TicketsatWork for years but I will not be doing so moving forward.

They told me that it had to be officially cancelled by the "eventholder" even though the entire organization of the Big Ten said all events had been canceled and if they played football it would be conference only. I called the Sporting events office and they said they already refunded the money but since Tickets At Work was not an authorized dealer of their tickets they could not help me. I booked two hotels through this company for a trip I had planned in fall 2020. These hotels are unfortunately in areas impacted by recent wildfires. As a result of the fires, I called the hotels to cancel my stay given the fire danger and unhealthy air quality as documented by various government sources. I reached out to the hotels and they were granting full refunds given this unparalleled natural disaster. I was told since I had booked through a third party vendor, TicketsatWork, that I had to receive my refund through them.

I reached out to TicketsatWork numerous times regarding the wildfires in the area and the need to cancel my two hotel bookings. I was told each time they were “looking into my concerns” and would get back to me. I even explained I had already contacted the hotels in question but this did nothing to expedite my refund request. All said and done, I received what appeared to be an automated email notifying me that my cancellation/refund request was being denied. This was truly shocking as the hotels were granting refunds to all guests who directly booked through them given the nature of the wildfires in the area. I have used TicketsatWork for years but I will not be doing so moving forward.

I bought 4 Cedar parks tickets, with the season opening deal. Unfortunately within weeks of purchasing these, COVID struck. First, Cedar Parks Great America delayed their reopening (as though totally should have!). However, to this day, they have not reopened. While I 100% agree that it is fair for them to remain closed, I feel they should refund tickets. Cedar Parks offered to refund my tickets yet TicketsatWork will not. I have reached out several times now, only to be told that my tickets are extended through next year. This would be helpful, if I were going to be in California next year, but I'm not. I have no way of returning these tickets, gifting them or redeeming them.

I feel incredibly bothered because when I asked to be escalated (which is not something I would typically do) I was just completely ignored by TicketsatWork. I understand the typical refund policy, but how can they morally collect money on a service that won't be provided, during a pandemic? And without even courtesy responses? It shows how little they value my money and my business.

I highly recommend you avoid this company and purchase tickets elsewhere. It is not worth the trouble for the minimal discount you get (if any). I purchased Disneyland tickets for my family in February 2020 for a trip at the end of March. The park shut down due to the pandemic, so I wasn't able to use my tickets. The park is still closed with no foreseeable opening. I contacted the customer service department and was simply told they don't issue refunds. When asked why and for more information, I was ignored. I spent a considerable amount of money on these tickets that could have been used on many other necessities during this pandemic. I was able to receive full refunds for my hotel reservation and airline tickets, but TicketsAtWork will not work with me. Really shows what type of company it is.

Original Review: PSA--- > Protect yourself and buy directly from the provider never through TAW. My Lesson is this... We purchased 8 2 day All Day Dine tickets to Seaworld and Busch Gardens through TicketsatWork, total cost was $1100+. We had flight, and hotel booked for our family of 8 for August 2020 and due to Covid-19 flare up in Florida, kids have medical conditions we are not risking going.

No problems canceling the hotel, No Problems cancelling the FIight! But TAW would not cancel our tickets, or issue a refund, stating they are non-refundable, non-transferable, etc. Not even during a COVID-19 crisis in Florida and not even when Sea World said they would cancel them, HAD WE BOUGHT THEM THROUGH SEAWORLD. We will not be able to make it back to be able to use the tickets, so I guess we are just out a $1100+. Feel like everyone else in the travel industry is doing the right thing, except TAW. That's just wrong in my opinion, but I guess I learned my lesson and will never buy through them again.

Booked 2 nights stay for 2 rooms and my reservation cancellation policy stated as long as cancellation was made by 10 am the day prior to my stay, it was fully refundable. I cancelled 32 hours prior to and TicketsatWork is trying to keep 1 nights stay! My husband and I both called/ emailed and customer service just keep saying they are looking into it and that I would get a call back by end of day. That never happened! In fact the night of cancellation and the following morning, when calling no agents to take calls because in light of COVID they have reduced hours. It prompts you to send email so that’s exactly what we did (again 32 hours before a required cancellation period to be fully refunded).

Tickets at work is also trying to give the one day back with a voucher for something on their site or discounts to sams club or car rental. I am not interested in anything else they have to offer, I just want MY FULL REFUND! I will be reporting them to the BBB, plus I’m disputing the charges with my bank! I would never recommend tickets at work to fellow employees or anyone else for that matter. My daughter in law has used under my account for a variety of things and she won’t be using anymore due to this!

I’m tired of being jerked around with the promises of call back and being told they are trying to reach their partners to see if they can cancel. Because I was unable to reach someone by phone 32 hours and then again 25 hours to their cancellation policy, I contact the hotel we were supposed to stay and the lady I spoke with told me that although she wasn’t supposed to cancel because I was using a third party, she’s so it anyway. The phone agents at tickets at work will say anything to get you off the phone. I’d advise, DO Not BOOK ANY HOTEL STAYS THROUGH THIS SITE! There’s no savings here, it’s a scam! Again disputing with my bank and reporting to BBB! They robbed me of $508. I’d give them ZERO STARS, but they prompt to give at least one. I will never use tickets at work EVER AGAIN! Plus my company is a very large company across the USA. I am very good friends with the CEO and I will be reaching out to him to advise!

Purchased Disneyland Park Hopper Tickets in December 2019 for our trip in March 2020. Just prior to our trip, Disneyland shut down for COVID and has yet to reopen. We have contacted Tickets At Work 3 times and have no resolution except for request for refund denied. Disneyland did right by all their guests and fully refunded tickets/trips that have been cancelled due to COVID. However TicketsatWork continues to hold my money hostage, provide no refund. I have asked to be connected to a supervisor in multiple calls and have been denied that by the customer service rep saying all they can do is send an email. The emails have come back denied. I have filed a complaint with the BBB this morning. I don’t want vouchers, a refund is the only acceptable answer. Such a disgusting response from a company who should be taking care of their customers who have been impacted due to COVID related closures.

I ordered Disneyland tickets for my family back in February 2020. Then the pandemic hit. I've been trying to get a refund for months now. I've called them several times & they say they will contact Disney to get a refund, but it keeps getting denied. I called Disneyland & they said they weren't denying refund requests, but I would have to go TicketsatWork to get the refund. So, I'm out $600 for a trip I'm never going to take.

This is unacceptable. I was able to get refund on my flight, hotel, rental car & even my Go LA passes through TicketsatWork, but not Disneyland! Disneyland hasn't even been open for months now. I shouldn't have to pay for something I'm not going to use. I've ordered many tickets through them in the past, but never again. I get emails form them saying they are willing to work with their customers throughout this tough time, doesn't seem like it to me. It's been a terrible year. My father died, my wife lost her job & now I can't even get my money back for these tickets. Please do not order anything from this company as they are not consumer friendly.

However, we do have a manager looking into this further and will definitely escalate this to the hotel and/or supplier to see if we can get a better answer. Original Review: Aug. 13, 2020

I ordered a set of tickets to Discovery Cove, Sea World, Aquatica in Orlando Florida from Tickets at Work for this upcoming November. It was cheaper to purchase from Tickets of Work than from Discovery Cove direct. The savings was around $100 for 6 tickets. I will never make the mistake of ordering from them again to save money. I purchased the tickets months before our travel dates. After purchasing Discovery Cove ran a 40% off sale that Tickets at work was also offering on their website. The promotional purchase period ran for over 10 days. The savings from the price I paid to the promotional price was over $500. I called Tickets at Work twice to see if they could adjust the price I paid. I was told they were unable to help me both times I called, and that Discovery Cove was all sales final and would not allow the tickets to be refunded and repurchased at the discounted price.

After hearing it wasn’t possible from two Tickets at Work customer service reps I called Discovery Cove to see if something could be done. Well, upon talking to Discovery Cove’s customer service department I found out that the information I received from Tickets at Work was untrue. They explained that Tickets at Work could cancel the tickets on my behalf as long as it was 30 days in advance with a full refund and then repurchase at the current promotional price. I promptly called Tickets at Work back and the representative I spoke with was going to work with a supervisor. It was suggested that if I changed my ticket dates they would possibly be able to secure the promotional pricing for me. They changed my dates, did not offer any refund, and have not returned my calls requesting to speak with a manager or my emails making the same request.

I have been working with Tickets at Work over many phone calls and emails for over a week and have received less than satisfactory results. I find it appalling that their company would not help when the price difference is over $500. This is a difficult time for the travel industry as well as for families like mine. They have the ability to help and are opting not to. That is not a way to earn repeat business. They are taking advantage of consumers during a pandemic when things are already unsettling.

I purchased what I thought was season passes for Six Flags. After I called six flags to set up my reservation, six flags told me they were only single day tickets. I called TicketsatWork right back, which was all in the same day might I add. They said that they need to reach out to six flags to get me a refund, but I bought my tickets through tickets at works which didn't make sense. I had to wait almost two weeks and finally they sent me the email that I have received my refund but inform of a credit.

I called tickets at work and told them that because the ticket were bought in error and that their rep told me that they were season tickets that they should give me a refund back to my method of payment. They told me that their policy has changed two months ago that they are no longer giving cash refunds only credit. I have been a member for a few years and no emails was sent to reflect this new policy. So tickets at works are forcing me to use their services for which I don't want to use anymore. Updated on 08/19/2020: I purchased tickets and requested a refund. To make a long story short they used their policy to their advantage to not issue a refund. Their policy states if show is reschedule they will not issue a refund. The show was “rescheduled” a year and a half later, and I still have not received email communication about the new show dates.

The current issue is TicketsatWork said a manager will review my case; however, they didn’t ask for any details like my ticket number, date of purchase, or even my name. So what case is the manager reviewing? In other words, the company responded to my previous inquiry stating they will review my case so the public could “see” it was being handled, but never contacted me. Even when I sent them a personal message, I have yet to receive a response. The lack of communication is poor customer service.

Original Review: I purchased show tickets in February 2020. The show was for April 2020; due to COVID-19 the show did not occur. I requested a refund and was eventually told after several communications, that the show was postponed. Due to the show being postponed I cannot receive a refund, I can only choose a new date for the show. When asked for the new show dates company stated that the show has been “postponed” a year and a half from the original show date; furthermore, I never received any additional information. For this company to avoid providing a refund for an obviously cancelled show is poor business. This is a clear example of a company trying to take consumer's monies, by using a policy to their advantage.

Postponing a show date beyond a reasonable time so the consumer will eventually forget about the money lost. I still have received no email communication regarding the status of my show tickets. Again the lack of communication and updates proves to me they want their customers to forget they even purchased the tickets.

I went through Tickets at Work for motel reservations in Orlando for a family of three. Unfortunately a Hurricane had formed in the south and was expected to hit us at landfall. Being a manager in a health care facility, my company canceled my days off. It was short notice to cancel. I contacted the Motel and they were more than happy to switch our reservations to a later date. Due to a third party (Tickets at Work) the motel was unable to assist us. Tickets at Work advised that they would do whatever they can to get us a full refund.

Two days later I was informed that unfortunately they were keeping $194.00 dollars of our $660.00 motel fees for penalties. Then I get an E-mail telling me that my remaining refund of $451.00 was coming back as a Credit voucher... What makes them think that I would ever do business with them again... I had to make reservations for two weeks later and was able to get the same room, for the same amount of days for $240.00 dollars cheaper. Also not to mention that when I was advising the CSR (Jamie) of the situation, she hung up on me!! Bad Business!!

I booked my hotel for an event in Las Vegas and I made the hotel choice based on what was refundable if my event got cancelled. My event was cancelled and I called for a refund. The hotel was 100% ok with a refund with no charges, but TicketsatWork is not giving refund all of a sudden??? I was offered a credit, but that credit sitting on a site where you go do things is not helping me in a time when you can't go do things. This feels like they are holding my money hostage. "The money doesn't expire sir"... Dude, if the money expired, you'd have a class actin lawsuit on your hands. Ridiculous!

I purchased tickets for a concert for March 2020, that due to the Pandemic was postponed, I accepted the new date of Oct 2020, it has now been postponed two more times. I know this is unprecedented times And a $300 set of tickets that we cannot use due to the new date can only be credited to a voucher to be used on tickets at work only. Not to mention in a time that everyone is feeling the crunch financially. If bought through the venue or ticket agency, would have been fully refunded with cash. Very poor customer service also, would never use again. Buyer beware!

    Original Review: July 26, 2020

I purchased 6 adult Park-to-Park passes early 2020 to take my family to Universal Studios Orlando during Spring Break. Our trip was cancelled due to COVID and I have been trying to retrieve my $2000 since. I have requested a cancellation/refund twice. The first time I was told TicketsatWork had to wait for their Business Partner (Universal Studios) to see what was being done for ticket holders as the result of the park closures. Universal released a statement that “unused tickets” could be used until Dec of this year.

Out of my 6 family members-I am the ONLY one who isn’t a student, a teacher, or otherwise dictated by school breaks for travel. We have no idea when we will be able to travel as a family again, so I contacted Ticketsatwork to explain and was told that they would submit a refund request from Universal Studios, and if it was approved - the funds would be returned to Ticketsatwork - and then a refund would be issued to me. After waiting A MONTH to call back (they asked me to be patient because of the large number of requests they are receiving and the length of time refunds are taking) - I was told that Universal approved my refund request, but that I had been issued a CREDIT VOUCHER from Ticketsatwork instead of a refund to my credit card used to purchase these tickets early 2020.

At this point, Ticketsatwork is literally HOLDING MY MONEY HOSTAGE. I used them as a 3rd party vendor - and although they act like they cannot refund tickets because their “Business Partners” won’t allow it- Universal has issued them a full refund and they refuse to return those funds to me. I have called and spoken to their Customer Service reps and I keep getting the same spiel - they fall back to their Terms and Conditions about refunds...and how they have the “right to issue Credit vouchers”.

These tickets were purchased before the Global Pandemic decimated travel in the US. I expect all sorts of Companies have had to amend their policies to provide some level of Customer Service during this unprecedented time. Not Ticketsatwork. They have decided to penalize those who tried to save a few bucks by using an Employer “savings” vendor to buy theme park tickets. It’s not worth it. If you buy directly from the Theme Park, they will at least TRY to do the right thing by their customers. Ticketsatwork has $2000 of my money - don’t let them have yours.

Check out experience was easy, however this company has no value of its customers and I question their ethics. I purchased tickets to a Florida amusement park back in January planning for a trip for April with my family and senior aged parents. Obviously our trip was canceled due to Covid-19 closures. After multiple requests for a refund on the tickets I am still being told in July that refunds are not being processed and they are still good for six months. They can be used by a relative at the gate if we are not able to go ourselves.

Living across the country, rescheduling the trip is not realistic and there are no affiliated parks open locally to offer to another person. Apart from the irresponsibility of Florida theme parks being opened I would hope that after multiple requests the refund would be granted being the current state of our country. There is so no vaccine in sight and it is irresponsible and a disregard to public safety to pressure people to still take part in these types of amusement locations or have someone else go else being at a loss for the ticket cost that no service was received on. I will not be using them in the future.

Instead they told me that as of 6/22/20 they are unable to issue a full refund to my card and that they can give me a credit voucher to use anywhere on their site. This is sneaky and feels illegal. I buy a concert for 2020 and due to Covid it is moved to 2021. Ok, understandable but I think I am entitled to a refund since I paid for a concert in 2020 and I don't know where I'll be in 2021. Will they advocate for their customers? No. I was basically told tough luck by their CSR. If I am going to get bad service I'll just go straight to Ticketmaster.

I ordered tickets for me a friend back in January 2020 before the whole Covid issue was even a forethought. Our planned trip date has come and gone four months ago back when California first issued its shelter in orders. I contacted Tickets at Work twice and the first time got no response. The second time around they replied and said that I should either hold on to my tickets or give them away because I would not receive a refund.

The party that I was going with is a single mother out of work because of Covid and needs her money refunded. I on the other hand have had my hours reduced and lost money trying to meet my kids schooling issues. How can a company like this send an email talking about unprecedented global hardships when you aren't even willing to refund money to customers who are more worried about feeding their families and making sure a roof is over their heads then figuring out if they want to go put their family at risk just so they don't lose money on tickets to a park that might not even open again in 2020. Further, they continue to sell tickets to venues that aren't even open but are refusing to refund their customers money. That has scam written all over it. Steer clear of this company. I am going to contact my HR to make sure they know what kind of company they are dealing with and let their employees know not to buy from here.

We are now unable to take the rescheduled trip and requested that our Disney tickets be refunded. Tickets at Work has changed its policy and will no longer issue refunds in the original form of payment. They will only give us a credit now. In Feb 2020, I purchased 4 tickets for the Cincinnati Music Festival that was supposed to occur in July 2020. The concert was cancelled in May 2020, due to the current Corona virus pandemic. According to the website, those who purchased tickets for the 2020 concert can use those same tickets for the 2021 concert.

I contacted TicketsAtWork.com via email and requested an explanation about what they were going to do about the Cincinnati Music Festival being cancelled because Ticketmaster was offering their customers the option of a refund or attending the 2021 concert. TicketsAtWork.com replied with a general email stating that refunds would be processed within 45 days (instead of the normal 30 days) due to so many cancellations being processed. They ended the email by stating that if an event is postponed then they would not be issuing refunds. The Cincinnati Music Festival is an annual concert. The concert is not being postponed if the organizer is allowing the 2020 guests to attend the 2021 concert at the same exact timeframe that they always have the concert. The 2020 concert has been cancelled, not postponed. I waited 45 days and noticed that I still had not received a refund.

Then, I called TicketsAtWork and spoke with Vanessa on July 6, 2020. I told her that I was inquiring about my refund for the cancelled Cincinnati Music Festival. She stated that they had not received any information that the concert had been cancelled or postponed. She said that she would submit a request for a refund and that it would take up to 14 days to get a response. I received an email response from TicketsAtWork on July 19, 2020 in which they indicated that I would not receive a refund because the concert has been postponed to 2021. Pushing off an annual festival for an entire year isn't a postponement, no matter how fervently promoters would like the public to believe it is.

When I purchased the 4 tickets, I agreed to attend the concert on July 24-25, 2020. Once the organizer changed the date, they are not allowed to not provide the option for a refund. The services that I was promised on the date indicated on the ticket are no longer available. The organizer and/or ticket broker does not have the right to keep my money for a service that was not provided as promised. We are also in the middle of a pandemic in which people are losing their life from this infection. No one is guaranteed to make it to July 2021, and it is unfair and unethical to hold my money. TicketsAtWork doesn’t seem to care about this pandemic that we are all experiencing together and the fact that people are facing unimaginable financial hardship.

Even politicians have gotten involved: Two Democratic members of Congress wrote a letter to the Ticketmaster that read, in part, "With Americans weathering the brutal and continuing impacts of this global crisis, your decision to confiscate their money is reprehensible and should be reversed immediately." Ticketmaster then changed their process in the following manner: Beginning May 1, any events that have been rescheduled with new dates will be eligible for refunds. From that point on, refunds will be available for 30 days beginning from the announcement of the rescheduled date.

Along with Ticketmaster, EventBrite began allowing their customers to receive a refund for rescheduled and cancelled concerts if they made the request within a certain timeframe. Also, the hotel room that was booked under a “non-refundable” category was also refunded back to me. Organizations understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and it is truly unethical to not refund a customer’s money. Job loss is at an all time high because businesses had to close for several weeks.

Tickets at Work stole my money. $240.32. I booked a hotel through them. Had to cancel due to COVID. Our concert was canceled and parents who were staying at the hotel can't travel outside their state due to their federal jobs. I called Hampton on June 29th. Said yes can cancel and refund but tickets at work had to do it. Called tickets at work 06/29. Could not get through!!! Called again 07/3. Finally talked to a male. He said he will have a credit on my account for me to use. To call back and reschedule the hotel anytime. That he canceled the room at Hampton. That I would receive an email in 2-3 business days. No email. I used their contact us via email. So I did basically was told no money/credit back. Non refundable or non reschedule.

I called today to tickets at work. Rep says same thing email says but also read the previous rep's notes that say I would get a credit!!! She said their dept. Declined the credit!!! She said they sent me an email. They did not!!! I would have been at my hotel if I did receive one just to chill out. Now my hotel is a no show. 07/13-07/15. I called Hampton. Let them know what's going on. They said ticketsatwork has to cancel. That I cannot. They would be happy to work with them. Ticketsatwork keeps saying their client denied allowing me to reschedule or refund me. Completely opposite of what their client told me... Ticketsatwork is just a fraud in my opinion. Waiting on a supervisor call. If it is not resolved I'll take to my HR dept. To advise to cancel connections with them, send BBB report, and leave bad (but accurate) reviews. I am extremely angry with ticketsatwork.

Beginnings of the year 2020 I purchased tickets (2) for Disney afterhours through TicketsatWork for May 25th 2020. Due to the pandemic and unfortunate circumstances of the world, Disney canceled all after hours events and confirmed in all their platforms that money for those type of tickets was going to be refunded. After weeks of not getting the money back I reached out to Disney thinking that the problem was on their end and I was told that they refunded everything/gave the credit back if it was a third party and that my money was on ticketsatwork end. I then called ticketsatwork and was told that they had to summit a request for the refund... Then waited for about a week when I was told it should only take about 72 hours but I wanted to give them a chance, I called back after the week just for them to tell me that they have to submit the request again because the first one was submitted the wrong way...

I then waited another week to call which brought me to today's date 07/16/20. I call ticketsatwork and was told that they couldn't do anything because I had linked my tickets to my disney experience app (stupid excuse) that I had to call disney once again to get the refund. I then call disney for the 100th time to ask and was told once again, "You paid the third party. You need to contact them." Yes! I called ticketsatwork again and NOW was given a different story. The girl who helped me basically said, "WE CAN'T GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK BUT YOU CAN USE THE TICKETS FROM NOW UNTIL A CERTAIN DATE IN 2020."

I called disney again to confirm that there is no such a thing when it comes to special event tickets. I can completely say that I have been robbed $200 & something dollars that I paid and have records of by ticketsatwork. This has been a terrible. It makes me so upset that after everything we have been through this year companies like this one are dealing with customers this way and just taking their money... unbelievable! I purchased Disney Park Hoppers and Universal Tickets in early March before these parks were shut down. Once all of the cancellations started (fireworks, parades, Halloween party, dinner shows, etc), it was not feasible for my group to take the trip. I was advised by TAW that it was approved for me to get a refund for these tickets. That was on 6/23/20. The conversation on that day was sketchy and I was unsure whether the refund would happen or not. The person I talked to did not sound confident in her answers, kept placing me on hold and was vague in explaining the process.

I called back on 6/29/20 and asked if I could have some sort of verification that the refund was processing. I was sent an email dated 6/29/20 that my request was approved. So, was it approved on the 23rd or 29th? Is this even approved or did they just send an email to appease me? I have left messages with no return call since I don't even receive updates that this is being worked on. I don't feel confident at all that they are processing this request and will be sure to advise my employer of the service provided by this company. I have had no other issues with cancelling anything else related to this trip (AirBNB, flight, car, etc). This was my first time purchasing discounted tickets and will definitely never do so again.

I booked 3 rooms at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas back in March, ensuring that these were refundable if I had to cancel for any reason. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 I am having to cancel the trip. I reached out yesterday, which was within the cancellation period, to request a refund. I was told that there would be no problem issuing a full refund and that I would absolutely get my money back. It was only AFTER the rooms were cancelled that the representative told me that I would be receiving my "refund" in the form of a voucher. This is unacceptable. I had confirmed and re-confirmed that these would be refundable and now, during a pandemic, I'm being told they're not.

Meanwhile, The Cosmopolitan IS offering refunds for customers who booked directly with them. I was told that a supervisor would contact me the next day to try and resolve this, but by this evening no one had called so I called them back instead. I was finally able to speak to a supervisor, but they are still refusing to issue a refund back to the original payment method. I was also told that the voucher "refund" was only recently implemented, but was not at the time I purchased the tickets. This company is not trustworthy. It doesn't seem like they're very interested in retaining customers, only the initial money they can make off of them. Issuing a voucher forces me to spend my money with this company, which I will not be using again after this experience. Going forward, I will book directly with the hotel or use a more reputable company.

Terrible experience and it’s not right. First I thought I was just reserving the room and then realized they took my money. I called to have room cancelled because of the protesting and curfews and they never told me how the refund would work. I had to email them for them to tell me it would take 30-45 days. What? For refund? And I still don’t have refund and it’s been close to 45 days. This policy is not right and it didn’t take them that long to take my money.

Updated on 09/01/2020: I wrote a review almost two months ago and received this response from the company then never heard from them again. "We appreciate the opportunity to speak. As a 3rd party we have been reaching out to the partners to see if they are willing to provide a refund. We apologize about this matter but the venue has postponed the show to the following year. We are still trying to see if the broker can obtain a refund from the seller and we will keep you posted." Their customer service is horrible and I am extremely disappointed in the way they handled this matter.

Original Review: I purchase tickets for the Sea Hear Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ through Ticketsatwork.com in March right before the COVID pandemic. This festival has since been postponed from September 2020 to September 2021 due to COVID restrictions/precautions. I am unable to attend the dates for next year and when I contacted Ticketsatwork they refused to issue a refund stating that the event is set to take place at a later date and the tickets are still valid.

I explained that Sea Hear Now is issuing refunds to fans who purchased tickets through them directly and are unable to attend the new dates, but they still will not refund my money. I reached out to Sea Hear Now to let them know what a disgrace this is and they state they are not even familiar with this company and therefore cannot be of any assistance. It's a shame that TicketsatWork is taking advantage of this global pandemic to profit for themselves. I will never purchase anything through their site again and I will spread the word to everyone possible.

Richard reached out to me and took care of the situation.

    Original Review: July 3, 2020

First off, I am an essential front-line worker at 2 local hospitals. I am a Respiratory Therapist and I have been on the front-line during this whole pandemic. My family and I were hoping that this pandemic would ease up so in April of 2020, we decided that we would go on vacation to Florida and take the family to Universal. I have used Tickets at Work in the past and absolutely loved the discounts, so I thought that I would try again. I spent a great deal on 6 adult and 3 children's tickets.

Well when the pandemic picked up again and Florida became a "hotspot", we decided best to cancel our trip. I have 2 children who have asthma and this would not be in their best interest for their health. So I called Tickets At Work to request a refund due to underlying circumstances. I sat on hold for the better part of an hour and was told no several times, I escalated the call and the person I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional making me feel unimportant and that my family's health and welfare was of no concern to them; and that all they care about is their profit and their bottom line with no concern about their customer's needs or concerns.

I booked a hotel room through TAW with a refundable rate and when my travel plans needed to get canceled a month in advance due to more positive cases of covid-19 in the area they would not refund my money due to my reservation being non-refundable according to them. I am very disappointed and will not be booking anything through this company anytime soon even though it is promoted at my work. Save yourself and book directly through the hotel so you can cancel if need be.

Updated on 07/07/2020: I posted a negative review of my terrible experience with Ticketsatwork and the nightmare of getting a refund. While I wouldn’t take that review back, I would like to post an update. I have to give credit where credit’s due. Richard **, a manager at the company reached out right away to resolve my issues, he kindly apologized for the inconvenience and the runaround and was extremely quick to provide a refund, provided proof of the refund and even checked in after the refund to make sure I rec’d it! What a contrast in customer service! I can’t thank Richard enough for helping my family and I out, he has excellent customer service skills and should be training the other reps! Thanks Richard!

Original Review: TicketsatWork sounds great but it is NOT worth it. I have been trying constantly for 3 months to get reimbursed for Disney tickets. Covid made Disney close and therefore my tickets were unusable! Emails get generic responses and phone calls get you 50 min holds and then the cust svc rep hangs up on you! AWESOME! Avoid the headache and just buy direct from the vendor! This is a nightmare! And not only my nightmare but 5 of my other family members that bought tickets as well! Horrible.

We booked a hotel stay, ensuring we picked a refundable room type as there were questions on whether we’d be able to travel at that time. 5 days prior to the deadline to cancel, we reached out through the form on their website, requesting a cancellation and refund per the booking. Ticketsatwork issued a “voucher” rather than a refund. I called to have a refund issued as I requested but was told that I “have already accepted the voucher”. The representative stated they would submit a request for the voucher to be cancelled and a refund to be issued but that vouchers aren’t able to be cancelled once accepted (which I never did). I was told I would hear back within 24 hours. At this point, I’m done with website. I would recommend they be avoided at all costs.

Richard had reached out to me regarding the policies for both Tickets at Work and Walt Disney World. I appreciate his timely response and empathy. I definitely have to admit some misunderstanding on my part, and I am pleased that the situation could be resolved.

    Original Review: June 28, 2020

The amount of savings I received on Walt Disney World annual passes was not worth giving up Disney customer service. I bought a total of 3 passes in February, after 4 cancelled trips I can’t get a refund. WDW has changed the policy to offer full refunds, but since I purchased through Tickets At Work I was referred back to them. Even with Covid 19, I received an email reply that the passes are non refundable. I am out over $3000, and it’s disgusting. I understand policies, but WDW is CLOSED and we are traveling from NJ. I was even willing to take credit or a different ticket. It’s unreal that this company cannot refund tickets during a pandemic. Next time, buy direct! I’ve learned my lesson.

I was very disheartened when I started this complaint process. I truly felt TAW and I were on opposing sides. I no longer feel that way whatsoever. Yes, I have done a full 180. This past Sunday, I was contacted by the nicest man ever (Drew). He not only took the time to assure me I'd been heard but further explained they were working on my ticket order, exploring every possibility for resolution. We exchanged info and I was to be contacted by Richard. (For those who do not know, Richard is mentioned in numerous resolved reviews. Richard has since called me, he understanding, knowledgeable, helpful, and dedicated (He contacted me on his day off). These gentlemen changed my perspective, with their over and beyond customer service!.

    Original Review: June 25, 2020

Tickets at Work has a no refund, no exchange policy. For an event where you know nothing will keep you from attending, this company offers fair pricing. During a worldwide pandemic, where events can not proceed as planned, it appears this company is focused on keeping people's money instead of helping their customer get funds refunded. Bottom line, when times get tough, through no fault of anyone, true colors start to show. Unfortunately, I feel TAW is focused on money and not overly concerned of the well being of the ticket holder. I am not happy. Think twice before dealing with this company.

The customer purchased Santana concert tickets from our Preferred Access section on the website. These tickets comes from a trusted broker and under the terms of sale that was agreed upon these vouchers are considered a final sale. The concert, due to the Covid-19 situation, is postponed and we deeply apologize that a refund cannot be provided at this moment. We recently reached out to the broker to see about a refund, but they confirmed that the show is postponed and will not be able to issue a refund. We will definitely check periodically for this guest with the seller to see for any future updates or changes. Also, if the artist and/or venue decides to cancel the show then the guest will definitely get a full refund.

Richard reached out to me and was very personable. He explained to me the expiration policy. Thank you, Richard. I appreciate your time reaching out and helping me understand.

    Original Review: June 25, 2020

I bought my Disneyland tickets on Feb 12. Clearly, this was before covid shut Disneyland down. The expiration date on my tickets say Jan 12 2021. We were supposed to go for spring break and then thought we could try for the summer. With today's announcement, there's no way we'll be going on this trip of a lifetime if there's no parades, no fireworks for my kids now in the summer. I was even thinking of going around the holidays but with this reservation system going to be in place trying to get the school holiday days (like everyone else) makes me too stressed out. I don't want a refund. I don't want my money back. I just want my ticket expiration date to be extended.

My issue is TicketsatWork told me if I had bought the tickets on Feb 21 or later the tickets would of been good till 2022. Really? I missed a whole additional year by 11 days? The fact that they won't extend my expiration date is quite frankly BS. Had I of known at the time of buying the tickets, I would of waited the 11 days. We weren't going till April anyway. I would not recommend TicketsAtWork due to their unfriendliness, lack of communicating as to how they came up with Feb 21st and how that impacts people who bought tickets in the beginning of 2020 thinking they were going months later. You'd think I'm asking for my money back. I just want my expiration date to be pushed out like everyone else who bought tickets 11 days after me.

It is now 6/24/20 and I still have not received my refund. They continuously tell me their back office is working on it and they are waiting on a response from their partner (Discovery Cove). I finally decided to call Discovery Cove and they tell me that have not notes or information requesting a refund on my tickets. I have allowed plenty of time for resolution and I now have no choice but to contact the Better Business Bureau and an attorney. Buyer beware.

I am saddened to not recommend Tickets at Work. I've used this service for the last 4 years. It was a good service when it came to me buying show tickets, booking hotels etc., But when it came to getting a refund, getting a hold of them became impossible. I sent an email about getting my money back for a hotel I booked about 10 months ago. Due to the covid situation the hotel on Vegas is closed and is forecasted to be closed the days I booked.

The only email I received from them was one that said they would gladly refund me my money but I would have to pay the cancellation fee. I then replied with an email asking if even though I had no control over the pandemic, even though the hotel isn't open, and when I booked the hotel certain amenities and restaurants would be offered but are not because of closures I still had to pay cancellation fees. The hotel isn't even open plus the whole landscape changed. I wanted to know if it's still on me to eat up the cost. No response. It's been about a month and I've sent them numerous emails and no response. I think it's disrespectful and wrong. Don't think I'll be using this service ever again.

I would not recommend purchasing tickets for any concert event from TicketsAtWork. I purchased tickets in December 2019 for a May 16 2020 concert (Sturgill Simpson @ MSG). Sturgill cancelled his tour on May 2. I would have expected a refund from TicketsAtWork within 30 days, because that's what Ticketmaster has pledged to do (the TAW tickets actually came funneled to me through Ticketmaster). It has been 50+ days and no refund yet. TAW even states on their website:

"Event Cancellation, Postponement, and other Event Changes.

Should an event be cancelled (and not rescheduled), or should a contingent event (e.g., a playoff game) not occur, you will receive a full refund (including any Preferred Access Ticket Fees) for your purchase." TAW emails me every 5-10 days and tells me that they are working on getting my refund, and that I don't need to reach out to them. Well, OK, just refund me $$$ already. It's gotten to the point where I have contacted my senator because this lengthy waiting time is just ludicrous. Don't use TicketsAtWork. It's that simple. Go directly through the venue if it's at all possible.

I said I purchased the tickets for $50 a person plus fees, you can currently buy the tickets for $30 and you receive a free ticket for the next year. Also several attractions are closed at KSC. We had two hotel reservations for mid-June that we can't use now since the area we are travelling to is shut down to anyone non-essential. We were informed that we could not even change the reservations to a later date or transfer the reservation to an essential worker so that at least someone could use the hundreds of dollars that we've lost. My employer promoted this site and had a wedding at Disneyland that I was to attend in May of 2020. I purchased tickets in the beginning of March that totaled out to be over $700. When COVID-19 hit, the wedding was cancelled so I reached out to this company for a refund. They told me all sales are final and no refunds would be issued. I called Disney. They were offering complete refunds that I would have gotten had I bought directly from them. (Which I should have done anyway since this site only saved me TWENTY dollars!) So I called this company back and demanded a refund since disney was issuing refunds.

The representative told me, "No refunds would be issued since disney is allowing people to use unused tickets until December 2020." I told her, "I’m not going to Disney because the wedding had been canceled and a new destination was picked." She told me her manager said disney is now extending the tickets to be able to be used until December 2021. If they don’t get used by then I’d be able to get a refund. Again, NOT going to Disney because the wedding has been relocated. And they want to hang my $700+ up for a year and 7 months?! I’m livid. The lady spoke to her manager who finally approved it. She said I’d see the refund in 30 days and that I'd receive an email within 10. I receive an email every 10 days saying my refund is delayed. Very disappointed in this company and I will be sure to tell my friends, family, and everyone at work not to use it and suggest my employer stop promoting it.

Basically, I was sold tickets that the seller will get refunded (I emailed the Red Sox site to confirm.) but they also get to keep my money. Does that seem fair? So why would anyone want to use this company? You are better off going direct and bypassing this group. I am out A LOT of money and this was a gift for my young son. He provided great service and processed our refund immediately (2-3 days to process back to the account officially). It took less than 5 minutes for him to process. I wish this was the same outcome when I submitted my initial cancellation to TAW over 45 days before reaching out to Consumer Affairs. I give Richard 5 stars and TAW 3 stars; it is still unfortunate that it had to get to this level.

We booked our hotel reservation with Tickets At Work (TAW) on March 5, 2020. We had a refundable reservation and submitted a cancellation request on April 7, 2020 due to the pandemic. TAW stated the refund was processed on April 12, 2020 and would be completed in 21 days. TAW communicated they were working with their Partners for a credit; however, when we reached out to the hotel, they communicated that they didn't even have our reservation in the system at all. If the Partners (hotel) did not have the reservation request nor the money, then why has TAW not processed our refund? Where is the money? It has been over 45 days and no refund still. It has even exceeded the 30 days that a business would normally credit a transaction back. Their last communication stated “we do not currently have an estimated date of return.” Again I ask, where is the money or better yet who has the money?

Due to the global pandemic a concert I was going to attend on September 5th was cancelled. I no longer need the room I booked through Tickets at Work. I contacted Tickets at Work on May 27th, as soon as I found out the concert was canceled, and asked for a refund and stated that it was due to the pandemic. The response I got was I could cancel but they would still charge me basically the full price of the room. It's not like I wanted to cancel. This happened out of my control. I will no longer book hotels through Tickets at Work. There are many other options I can use.

    Original Review: May 27, 2020

I booked tickets for Disney back before this pandemic began, I even tried to wait it out after the pandemic began before immediately requesting a refund. After losing my job, I decided to go ahead and request a refund being that I’m due to give birth in now less than a week's time and I have no income coming in to help support myself, my son and my newborn child on the way. Tickets at work claims that my refund has been approved in full and that I only need to wait 30-45 days to receive it. There is no escalation process which I find to be absolutely ridiculous.

You were able to take my money from my bank account in a matter of seconds but you can’t seem to put it back within a 10 day period? I understand there are many requests coming in but NONE of your consumers asked for this pandemic to happen. I’m sure none of us wanted our events to be cancelled in the first place. So here I am, about to go into labor in less than 3 days and I have NO money to my name right now and waiting on a $1400 refund which might not even get here within the next month.

My family and I were suppose to go to California in mid-March from Maryland to visit grandparents. We had purchased tickets to a few theme parks including Disney (directly) and Universal (Through TicketsatWork from my company). When Covid 19 hit and California locked down the state, so did the theme parks. We were sad to cancel our vacation plans.

We called Disney and they were very prompt to refund us for the ticket purchases understanding that it was not easy for us to fly all the way across the country. However, TicketsatWork kept lying to me that we will get a refund. After calling numerous times and getting the runaround over a 2-month time span, I finally got an email saying that we would not get a refund and our Universal tickets were extended until the end of this year. That is not helpful at all. I can’t just fly a family of 4 with small kids to California from Maryland anytime I want during this pandemic. Please be a little more understanding here. I would just like for Ticketsatwork to refund me my money. Thanks.

Warning to anyone considering using this company. I would not recommend purchasing any travel related services from this company. They falsely represent discounts that are no better than what you can arrange on your own and the deals are nonrefundable. In addition, they offer these services through work related app making it seem more legitimate. This would typically not be problematic but given the pandemic, they are not issuing any alternatives despite the fact that travel restrictions are in place. You cannot communicate with customer service in any fashion except via email. They basically apologize but state no refunds or accommodations are going to be given due to their arrangements with the hotels they work with. In my opinion they are stealing money we paid for a family vacation for my son's graduation and will now not be able to go.

    Original Review: May 23, 2020

We were going to purchase our tickets directly from Universal Studios but last minute I checked if my job benefits had discounts and I found TicketsatWork. I purchased 6 tickets around late February and a hotel stay for early March. Then the Covid pandemic hit and we canceled the reservation for the hotel as things were escalating in Florida - no problem, I told them I would wait to talk to the rest of the people going on the trip because they said there was a 10% fee for tickets and I needed to confirm with the rest of the people going. Then everything got shut down due to covid and we had to use up some of our vacation days and the other people going on this trip needed their money back due to hardship. The Tickets at Work phone lines were extremely long so I found their cancellation/contact us email page and sent an email to cancel with a detailed explaination.

They sent an email back a couple days later and it was confusing - to submit a cancellation confirmation and to contact them if I hadn't received a refund. So, I hadn't heard back so I sent another email confirming my first email. After a couple days I received a reply to that one and was told they were not refunding. I called them and told them the same things as on the emails - that we weren't going to be able to go and needed our money back. When I purchased them the site did not state nonrefundable. I requested a manager and was denied - I was told that if they refunded my money that universal was not going to refund TicketsatWork back because they were 3rd party sellers and also the lady advised the policy changed on March 15 when Universal changed their contract with them.

I called Universal Studios directly to confirm this and they denied it - they are refunding 100 percent of unused tickets to direct buyers and denied what the rep told me and suggested I file a dispute with my credit card company. I called my credit card company and explained the situation back in the middle of April and today I received a letter in the mail asking for all the documentation. It's now May 22nd. I am over this, I wish I had never found this site. I had to refund my friends out of pocket. The pandemic has been a real burden and we don't know when we will recover from this and all this company cares about is profits.

    Original Review: May 21, 2020

I booked a Disney hotel room for 2 nights and Disney is closed due to COVID-19 and this business refuses to let me change the dates even though I asked way in advance (6 weeks). It's extremely ridiculous during this time of COVID-19 to not be willing to let someone change their reservation dates. This was a lot of money to me and I cannot afford to waste it. I understand not being willing to refund the money, but to not be willing to let me change the dates is unacceptable. I will be at work on those days and unable to go to the hotel to use any of what I paid for.

When I requested to change the dates, this is their response: "Unfortunately due to contractual agreement, we are not able to amend the dates on this reservation." I did not sign any agreement. This company is also very hard and time-consuming to get a real person on the phone, and they never bother to respond to questions submitted through their website. It also concerns me that I have called the hotel and they are unable to find any reservation for me. As with everything related to COVID-19, these are very unusual circumstances that I couldn't have possibly predicted and this company should review their policies during this difficult time.

I will never purchase from TAW again. I purchased tickets to a show in March. COVID-19 canceled everything. So even though the show was technically canceled it shows in postponed status. The promoters for this event have stated in their website that you are eligible for a full refund if the event is in postponed status for greater than 60 days, if you purchased the tickets through them. The venue for this event is stating that you can mail your tickets into them and they will refund your money, if you purchased the tickets through them. TAW of course says that the tickets are non-refundable. So it seems to me it is not worth buying from them if they refuse to give refunds for tickets where everyone else involved is refunding.

Apparently even a pandemic isn't enough reason to give customers their money back. I have seen on the BBB that they have refunded tickets to other customers that were purchased for other events that were non-refundable and also on this site. So I am confused why their situation is different from mine since we are all suffering from the same pandemic. TAW has even referred me to a site to prove that the event is still postponed. But also on this site it states refunds are provided for this event if it is postponed more than 60 days. They give the option to get your money refunded. When I brought this up in my reply on BBB the issue was "administrately closed" by TAW. The way this situation has been handled so far shows me that they are not a company that deserves my business.

We got a refund for 2 out of 4 tickets after about close to 10 calls. I specifically told them refund all 4 or none at all. What good is that? I will never use them again, this has been a nightmare. Why can 2 out of 4 be refunded? Beyond frustrating and I have invested hours of time on this.

We appreciate the opportunity to speak. As a 3rd party we were able to refund the guest for a part of his order even though our partners have extended the expiration dates on all tickets. We do have a manager looking into this matter to see if anything could be done, but if the guest alters a voucher then we are unable to cancel and refund it as an example. Once a date of entry has been changed by the customer it then becomes full ownership of the park. As a result, the 2nd order the guest had allowed us to void in the system as it was not changed or altered by the customer. The tickets the guest has can be still used at the park for a later date due expiration extensions and Disney is honoring that full credit in the future as well due to the virus situation.

In December 2019, I booked a week's stay in Las Vegas for May 23-May 30, 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic all our shows and hotel are closed during this time. The shows booked directly through the hotels refunded our tickets within days of the cancellations without us even having to ask. I contacted Tickets at Work regarding the hotel room and waited for nearly 2 weeks for a reply. The good news was that Tickets at Work would be giving me a full refund as long as I cancelled prior to May 20th, but it could take up to 30 days to process the refund. I cancelled immediately and was very happy to know that they were going to be taking care of me and my family. Three weeks later I received an email to let me know they were still working on my refund and I did not need to contact them as I would hear from them in 5-10 days, still a happy customer.

The 30 days is now up and I receive an email advising me that my request has now been delayed and once again do not contact them, they will contact me again in 5-10 days. I am no longer a happy customer, I had to reach out to them to get the refund process started, wait 30 days for them to process it only to be told, on day 30, it is being delayed longer. I understand that they have had a lot of cancellations to work with, but the pandemic started nearly 2 months ago. I only saved about $200 using their service, but am having a big run around when it comes to the refund. I will never use a third party service again and would caution anyone using them to book hotels, shows, concerts, or other experiences. My family and I will be rebooking this trip for a later date, probably sometime next year, and I guarantee you we will only book directly with the hotels for our rooms and show tickets.

We used TAW for our hotel reservation for May 9, 2020 in Vancouver, due to the pandemic and all the travel restrictions our trip was cancelled and TAW refuses to give us a refund or a credit even though I talked with the hotel and the hotel told us that TAW does not pay for the room until after the guest checks out, and due to the pandemic the hotel would have refunded the money, but because we used a third party and they haven't received our money there was nothing the hotel could do. So TAW was not out any money. I could understand not refunding if I cancelled just because I changed my mind, but that is not the case, everything was cancelled due to the pandemic.

    Original Review: May 11, 2020

We purchased tickets for a hotel on March 5 to be able to take our daughter to Disneyworld for her birthday on June 18-22, 2020. We purchased right before all the pandemic started with Coronavirus and everything starting to shut down. I contact TAW on 4/10/20 and requested for our reservation to be canceled due to the pandemic, which is beyond our control. Our reservations were nonrefundable, however, due to the pandemic figured they would honor a cancellation like all other major hotels were doing, including Disney. They responded same day and said "we regretfully are unable to proceed with issuing a refund at this time because the room type selected is a non-refundable rate. While we understand your travel needs may need to change, we appreciate your understanding of the limitations surrounding a final sale purchase."

Our travel needs did not change, the global pandemic changed them for us!! I responded right away and asked that even though travel is restricted and them parks are closed, refunds are not allowed, even though major hotels, Disney and BNB's are issuing refunds. Of course, no response. I emailed again on 4/16/20 asking for an update as no response has been received. Still no response. I submitted a new ticket on 4/21/20 and got the generic response that due to high volume of requests for cancellations they need additional follow up time.

On 4/22/20 I got an email with apologies for the delayed response and that they had located my order and have submitted a request to the hotel partner to cancel and refund the reservation. On 4/23/20 I received an email stating they have not been able to reach a resolution yet, however they will continue to reach out to the partners. Another email was sent on 4/29/20 with the same update. And then no more updates. I sent an email the morning of 5/11/20 and as of the afternoon no response.

I sent an email directly to the hotel I have a reservation at and they advised that they are giving refunds and if we had booked directly with them they would refund it. They stated that if TAW would call them directly they would authorize the cancellation/refund. So from the hotel's response, TAW has never contacted them!! Who is the partner? Disney World resorts are not taking reservations until July 1 and after. Since our reservation is before this date there should be an exception to a no-cancellation policy reservation as this is something that no one could have predicted and not something we are trying to change ourselves. At this point, I would not recommend TAW to anybody no matter what the savings is. I would rather pay more and be able to deal with a company that is more sympathetic and responsive to their clientele during a pandemic.

This is the worst experience ever. We had a trip planned for Chicago and pitched tickets for Wild N Out and Chicago Skydeck. Obviously due to Covid19 everything was cancelled or postponed. I contacted TicketsatWork in mid March for a refund and was told that since one was postponed and not cancelled they cannot refund for that show but but since Chicago Skydeck closed and stated they were honoring all refunds that I would get a refund for that one and to call back by April 30 if I have not received refund.

I called in the beginning on May and was told that my request was never even seen as the person who took the request is no longer with the company and she was the one responsible for following up with the claim so it was never even addressed. I was being told by the associate on the phone that all sales were final and that they were not issuing any refunds even though this is out of our control.

I then asked to speak with a supervisor to then told me that since the previous employee who initially took my request faked to do her part that she would push the request through again for a refund and it should be final without 72 hours. Well 48 hours later I received an email stating the refund request was denied. I am in Ohio and will not be visiting Chicago anytime in the future and will not be able to attend either of these events and due to being out of work I don’t have $250 to just throw away. I have now contacted the attorney general offices in Ohio and Illinois to address this matter. I will never purchase anything from this company again.

We planned our spring break vacation, and it had to be canceled due to Covid-19. This being completely out of our hands, I called for a refund. I was advised, there was nothing that can be done and these tickets are final sale, and basically give the tickets away, or figure out a way to get to Florida before they expire. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I would advise that you just purchase directly from SeaWorld, so you are not donating $800, if there is ever a global pandemic out of your control.

Sea World at this moment has decided to extend their expiration dates on all vouchers. They are taking reservations on their website and the extension dates are listed there as well. We apologize about this matter but they are not giving us refunds at this moment.

We had to cancel two trips due to covid-19. I called both hotels and they said they are offering refunds at no charge. I am still waiting almost 30 business days later after calling Tickets at Work. I have called them multiple times with no updates. I booked a hotel through Tickets at Work earlier this year for the last week of May in Clearwater, FL. Due to the Coronavirus, it does not feel safe to travel within the next few weeks. I asked for a refund very politely having explained the trip was cancelled and we would be postponing to next year. The hotel that we booked stated that they are authorizing third party refunds, so it makes no sense why a refund could not be returned given the circumstances. I do not recommend booking hotels through this company and will not be doing so in the future.

We purchased tickets through Tickets at Work for a family trip to Universal Studios and Disney World planned at the end of May 2020. Tickets for a family of 5 are expensive but it was a family trip planned for a few years. Due to Covid-19 our reservations and trip have been canceled but TicketsAtWork refuse to provide a refund on our tickets even though the parks and hotels are closed! We are unable to reschedule our trip for multiple reasons and the thousands of dollars are needed for other means during this time. Highly disappointed in what I thought was a reputable company. Even Universal and Disney are providing full refunds so you know they would not be out this money.

I bought my family a Disney Land vacation for my family with Tickets at Work on 2/20/2020 not know this COVID pandemic would shut everything down. My vacation was scheduled for June 1st and there is no way they are going to open by then. Due to these hard times and no way I can do my vacation I asked for my money back. They have refused saying that the tickets for disney are good until January 12 2021 and the room I got was not refundable. First off I am not able to use the tickets. I am not going to be able to go to Disneyland to use these tickets due to the circumstances. Second my receipt for the room list the rate type as refundable.

I have read the other reviews here from people who had this experience and got their money back so here is what I am going to do if not resolved. Like the others I will bring this complaint and theft up with my state and your state's Attorney General. Second I will forward everything including the lies to my HR department which I am good friends with and we are a large company. I don't think they will like that you won't refund me. Third if needed I will dispute this charge and with Paypal. Lastly if needed I will take any legal steps necessary to get my money back. My one star review is based of them not giving my money back and also lying to my face about the room. I will never recommend tickets at work to anyone due to this experience. If Tickets at Work wants to resolve this my case is **.

Even though it was my mistake, I appreciate the kindness, and professionalism when communicating. Thank you so much Richard! Yes, I will be using TAW again for any future travels!

I purchased 4 tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood as a gift to my niece for her 9th Birthday. We literally have to plan 1 year in advance because it's not easy saving money and getting the time off of work, but we were pushing to make this happen. We worked HARD for this! Finally the day came when I could finally buy the tickets and thought I found a great deal with Tickets At Work. It wasn't long after when Covid 19 hit and everything began shutting down, beginning the same week we were supposed to go. Absolutely crushed, I called TAW and stayed on the phone on hold for 2 hours before someone finally answered. The rep was kind, and professional and did say that a refund was approved and going to be processed in 72 hrs, but I received nothing. So I called back and they weren't taking calls anymore, so I followed directions from the voicemail and emailed them. A

gain I received an email saying a refund was approved but this time it would take 30 days. This was in March. It has been well past the 30 and still no refund. Then I received an update saying it was processed and I should see the money shortly...still nothing. Then another email saying it would take ANOTHER 30 DAYS! Every time I try to email them I get a copy/paste response and nothing more. They had really good deals, but I would hate for anyone else to be in this situation. I just need to talk with my HR at Amazon and Alorica and begin the process to have them removed from our employee benefits discount options. I'm sure there are other companies that can use the business. Absolutely crushed.

We received an email the next day that we would be receiving a refund for the full amount for disney and seaworld in 14 days. It's now been a month and no refund so I called today again and was told at first it would take 30 days for my refund. I told the representative that was unacceptable. I've already waited over 30 days.

I received a call back. We would be getting the refund for disney but not seaworld. I again said unacceptable. I have it in writing last month I would have a refund for both. Basically I was told too bad o well. I'm waiting for a higher up supervisor call me. At this point we will not use tickets at work again. Save yourself headache and avoid this company at all costs. I Purchased 12 month tickets March 4 for Busch Gardens. Mid March the state of VA closed due to covid. The park is closed and remains closed. I called end of March and inquired about a refund and I was told it has to be reviewed and can take up to 21 days. I called just this week April 21 and Lucinda informs me that they sent an email denying the refund, which I never got. Lucinda was difficult and very argumentative stating no refunds and these tickets will still expire March 4 2021 DESPITE park closure!!!

I asked to speak to the manager and was transferred to Yoav ** who had even less customer service skills than Lucinda and was really just downright arrogant. I asked to see the terms and conditions as I doubt it included a force majeure clause, which he refused initially and then finally agreed to email it after we went back and forth.

I agree with a previous reviewer in the statement that these people who work for TAW do not appear to want to amend or offer ANY accommodations and appear to be looking for an argument. They state the tickets will still expire on March 4 2021 even though if we had bought the tickets from Busch gardens directly we would be privy to the extension they are offering but since we bought them from TAW, that perk is not applicable to us and apparently they do not comply with that extension. (How is this even legal?) The park has been closed now for 2 months. How are these by definition, 12 month tickets? THEY’RE NOT!! Essentially we aren’t even receiving what we purchased!

I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and plan to move on to the attorney general because this cannot be legal. I also plan to report this to my HR department as my company should not promote TAW. Shame on TAW for taking money for a service NOT rendered during a pandemic! A word of advice to TAW - during a traumatic period of time i.e. a pandemic nonetheless, you may want to consider putting your employees through some Customer service training with a focus on compassion. Avoid this company.

Our family booked a hotel through their website for spring break in Dallas, TX. I have screenshots of the email indicating their cancellation policy when I booked it. I had to cancel the reservation due to the Coronavirus outbreak. When I called to cancel, they told me there was a fee of $194.81. This was also in the booking email. However, I did not receive a verification email cancellation and called them on several occasions about that. Sure enough, after the time frame of refund cancellation, they sent an email saying I was not eligible for any type of refund—none. So hurt and angry that a company would do this to a family.

I never received my refund and my husband works for a large company where they advertise this company. I will make sure this experience is shared throughout the entire company. I have every single piece of proof needed to validate my claim. So buyers, please be aware before purchasing or feeling safe because of a cancellation policy you see on the page. The issue is that they don’t send confirmation of your cancellation to you and then claim you never canceled in time. Be cautious before making a booking.

Our Universal Orlando vacation planned in May 2020 was unexpectedly cancelled due to COVID-19. First our flight was cancelled on us, then the hotel (Hard Rock) notified us of cancellation and we discovered that the park would be closed through the end of May. Even though we had non-refundable airline tickets, we were able to obtain a full refund from the carriers. We also did not have any problem getting a refund from the hotel. HOWEVER, when I contacted TicketsatWork, I was given the response that the passes we purchased were nonrefundable.

I tried calling to appeal, but the number I called had a recording stating to contact them via e-mail. I've e-mailed 3 times, but no response at all - very disappointing. I understand that in a normal economic environment, yes, they are non-refundable. But due to the circumstances, we feel the company should be more lenient in their rules and try to help out its customers. My pay has been cut due to COVID-19 and there is no way we can plan a trip any time soon to Universal Orlando. It would have been nice to at least receive a response to my appeal, but I haven't heard a peep. Very discouraging.

On March 15, 2020, I spoke with a representative who advised me my recent Hotel/Ticket experience would be refunded in its entirety, less a $25 processing fee. I was so relieved. I was told I would receive my refund in 5-7 days. On day 8, I called and was told 7-14 days, on day 15, I was told 21 days, and then on day 22, I was advised it could take UP TO 30 days. On day 31, I spoke with a representative who advised me that my CARE request was inadvertently closed as complete even though no actual refund had been given. I was given a new CARE request # and told it would still take another 24-72 hours for them to release the funds AND another 15-30 days for me to actually get my $2160.46 back. So here I sit, more than a month later, with very little confidence that I will get my money back.

Taking the time to review this business as I'm appalled at their insistence on sticking with their normal refund policy despite the fact that the economy has fallen to pieces. Bought tickets to a Braves/Giants MLB game for 4/17/20 on 3/2/20 and have been told on a couple of occasions that they will not refund the ticket purchase until the event has been changed from postponed to cancelled, despite the fact that we have no idea if or when games will be played at this point. I'm supposed to just swallow the fact that they have my money tied up this whole time when other businesses (mostly outside of the ticket exchange universe) have made exceptions or changes to their policies to help consumers. I will not be using their services ever again.

I booked a room at a resort back in August 2019 for an event that was happening at ESPN at the end of April. Due to Covid-19, ESPN is closed and so is the ACTUAL HOTEL until this travel ban is lifted. They are offering no refunds and no help at all. We prepaid for the hotel which was $1500.00. Since this company is a third party booking they are blaming it on the actual hotel stating that they will not allow them to cancel the reservation and offer a refund. I just got off the phone with the hotel and they stated that they ARE offering all third party booking companies a full refund at this time. The actual process is frustrating also. Every time you call, the person on the phone has to "submit a request" through email to someone. Then they send you an email back stating the request to cancel and get a refund is denied. Then you have to begin the whole process over. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

    Original Review: April 16, 2020

I purchased Disney Park tickets through TicketsatWork for the end of March. Due to the global pandemic the theme parks have closed down and my trip was cancelled. I requested a refund for my tickets and was met with generic email responses, the latest of which told me that Disney extended the ability to use the tickets until the end of the year so they would not be issuing me a refund and I should contact Disney to make changes to my tickets. So I did just that and was told by Disney directly that they WOULD issue me a refund, however the refund would need to be initiated by TicketsatWork since I purchased the tickets through them. When I called TicketsatWork to initiate the refund I was met with continued resistance and they are still refusing to give me my money back.

The customer service rep just kept repeating to me that they are not providing refunds for Disney tickets with no legitimate reason why, since Disney was obviously approving these types of refunds. I asked to speak to a manager, was put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. The company is 100% scamming people out of their money. They are a third party, so if their supplier is offering refund to their customers TicketsatWork should honor that! Not to mention now is not the time to be greedy! We are in the middle of a global crisis, and people will remember the companies that treated their customers poorly. They've essentially proven that they don't provide a valuable service. I clearly would have been better off purchasing directly from Disney! I would highly advise against purchasing tickets from this company, and will obviously not be utilizing their service anytime in the future.

My husband Andrew and I were schedule for a cruise leaving out of Florida for the 6th of June. Because of Covid-19 our cruise was cancelled. Carnival refunded our money. We had to book a hotel because we were traveling from Texas. We had booked the hotel through our work at ticketsatwork.com. We called TicketsatWork and explained that our trip was cancelled because of the virus. The lady explained to me if we could get the hotel to agree to not charge for the room and get their name of who we spoke to they would give us a refund. Now, mind you, everyone's trips are being cancelled because of the virus and wait time to talk to anybody at ticketsatwork is atleast an hour or more wait. So, did as she told me, I called the hotel, spoke with the manager, explained the situation. The manager told me, "Of course we aren't going to charge you, here's my name and number. You have them call me."

Called ticketsatwork again, stayed on hold over an hour only to be told "lady I don't know who you talked to, but this isnt how this works. We are not going to give you a refund." I said, "But that's not what I was told yesterday, and I was given instructions as to what I needed to do." By this time the customer service rep was yelling at me and finally she simply hung up on me. I have every intentions of calling the Benefits assistance office and making a complaint and letting the Company I work for handle this. This is a time in which greed should not be tolerated. This is just inexcusable behavior out of a company and its customer service representatives. I will not rest until they no longer have this account.

I booked a rental car through TicketsatWork. They offered an excellent price on a reputable car rental agency. With CO-VID 19, I had to cancel my reservation. I was instructed to do so directly with the car rental agency, which I did in the middle of March as soon as our plans were canceled which was well within the policy guidelines. As of 4/14, I am still getting the runaround to have the refund processed. Each time I call the Customer Service line, I've been told a variety of things including that I would see the refund which was over two weeks ago. It's frustrating to have to call multiple times and still have no resolution.

Update!! Richard got in touch with me and resolved my issue!! I'm very happy now and would use Tickets AT Work again! Thank you!!

    Original Review: April 13, 2020

Don't use Tickets at Work unless you can afford to lose all the money you give them. I bought 11 tickets for the Holiday Gator Park in Florida for a family reunion in March 2020. Of course, the venue had to close due to covid-19. We were there, but the venue was closed. So we called and emailed TicketsatWork about getting a refund. Their response was that we could use the tickets at a later date! Really? What are the chances that we are going to get 11 people together at one time to travel to Florida and use these tickets? So I'm out more than $270 and they couldn't care less. So my advice is to avoid using Tickets at Work for anything! The amount of the savings isn't worth it if a disaster happens and you lose all the money you spent! But as long as Tickets at Work is making money that's all they care about. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I had bought tickets for a Spring Break trip to Universal Studios Orlando. Universal Studios will be closed for over 2 months including the week I was supposed to go. I had a horrible time trying to get a hold of somebody which is somewhat understandable given the circumstances. What is not understandable is being told I would be reimbursed on a phone call and then getting an email saying no reimbursement. I was told I could use them at a later date. The problem is I work as a nurse and I am limited on when I can take a vacation.

The other members of our party are unable to take off at the same time in the future. I am very angry that other vendors have refunded their customers with no difficulty, but we are being told that we cannot get a refund for a product we did not receive. It sounds like even Tickets at Work is getting refunded but not passing it on to the customer which is very unethical if true. I will be reporting this to my Human Resources department which advertised this company.

We were penalized by TAW for cancelling our Vegas trip after the state of Nevada shut down Las Vegas while Covid-19 spread to every corner of the world! Caesars Palace contacted us to communicate that they were closing the entire hotel and casino for all of April and the foreseeable future. I contacted TicketsatWork whom we had our reservation through to request a refund, later I was informed my cancellation would take time, but they also wanted to highlight I would be charged a fee. They also had no shame in wording their response as if it were our fault we had to cancel, because a world pandemic is not something they could possibly sympathize with when it comes to their set in stone cancellation fee.

Never-mind people are losing their jobs at rates most have never even seen in their lifetime, and that the majority of reputable companies are contacting their customers informing them that they are automatically issuing a FULL refund, nope, not tickets at work. I had to contact them and they they quickly reminded me of that cancellation fee for changing my plans, never mind that the hotel is literally closed. In times like these behavior like this speaks volumes, what a vile company with no morals. I would love to see where their cancellation policy state “and if your hotel is forced to close due to a world pandemic”.

Here is part of their response to me, as if I should just let them keep the entire booking amount because I am "choosing" to cancel. "As it relates to your request for cancellation at Caesars Palace - Resort & Casino we must regretfully advise that a refund would include a $103.09 cancellation penalty. While we understand your travel needs may change or even be rescheduled, we appreciate your acceptance of our need to enforce the policies agreed to at the time of purchase."

I purchased 7 GoCity New York Explorer passes for 7 attractions (totaling $1128) through TicketsAtWork for my family visiting from abroad. They had to cancel their trip due to Covid-19 and will not be visiting USA for at least another year. I have absolutely no use for the passes now. I tried reaching out to TicketsAtWork for a refund and all I got was a templatized email saying that they are still working with their partners on this. Recently GoCity extended their pass validity for up to 2 years, but our passes are not extended since we bought it through TicketsAtWork. When I contacted them regarding this, they again replied with the same email without any resolution to my problem. This wouldn't have been the case if I had bought the tickets directly from GoCity. I would not recommend TicketsAtWork to anyone given their response to the current situation.

I spoke to Chris and Carlos. It is a time of unprecedented Pandemic and the NBA suspended the season. Both Chris and Carlos belittled me, but Chris was much worse. He honestly seemed to be looking for an argument, and was quite aggressive. I understand they both have a job to do. I purchased tickets for my son’s Birthday so he could see Lebron James play. It was such a huge purchase for me, a single mother of two sons. Instead of taking into consideration that the Pandemic took this time from all of us, they rudely spouted rhetoric about rules. They stated there would be games at some point in the years to come. When I tried explaining that it may not even be the same players, they cared not. Lesson: THEY DON’T CARE!!!

When I was contacted they used this review as an ultimatum also and tried to make the refund contingent upon me updating the review. Well I gave my word I would update the review, I will update it to 2 stars because they did refund me, but not until I reported them for illegal activity. I still wouldn't use this company, but I am sure during a different time when the world isn't under siege by a life ending virus they may act differently. Tickets At Work, as a word of advice, don't try and screw over your customers.

    Original Review: April 7, 2020

I ordered Universal Studios tickets through them, and unfortunately our trip had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 park closure and our availability to fly to CA within the time frame that the tickets were due. I was promised a refund from them within 72 hours on my first call to them, but that refund never arrived. Then I called again and they told me refunds were taking up to 15 days. I waited 15 days and no refund. I called again, but this time was told to email.

Several emails later, over a month’s time, and a couple of tweets at their company I received a call from a gentleman named Drew ** at **. He said that they will no longer refund us, but would extend our tickets expiration. The problem with that is that we cannot find time to travel to CA within that specified time frame. We live in MN.

I am at a loss of what to do here. This was not in their terms and conditions of the tickets and in speaking with Universal Studios they would have refunded us no matter what and they have also refunded their third party vendors. So there is a common theme. TicketsAtWork is collecting the refunds from Universal, Disney, and SeaWorld, but not passing them on to the consumer. Terrible company and I can't wait until the lawsuits start pouring in. I have already contacted my attorney and also ADP who is our benefits partner that introduces our employees to them for a small discount. Sounds like ADP is going to dump them also. Scam of a company. AVOID.

Both myself and my brother-in-law purchased tickets in January through my TicketsatWork account in anticipation of a family trip to Disney World for both families, including 7 children. The trip is to begin 4/26, so we've had to cancel due to the current shutdowns, etc. After calling 3 times since the day after Disney announced it's closing and giving our order numbers, we were told to await a refund and to confirm online via the Contact Us link. We were told today that we will not be receiving a refund and have not gotten any reply when asked for further explanation and reasoning.

This is detrimental to our families and I am absolutely taken aback that this is how a company would respond, especially when Disney World itself is approving refunds through June. This was planned meticulously as we are from Pennsylvania and they are in Texas, and there is no way that simply extending the dates for the tickets would work, as this trip was a year in the making. I can say that I would not use this system again and cannot justify the marginal amount I saved by using on TicketsatWork for this to be their protocol in a time of crisis.

I booked a non refundable hotel at the Wyndham New Orleans on 9/20/19 for the upcoming Essence Festival in New Orleans July 4th weekend. Essence Fest just announced that the event is postponed due to coronavirus yet they don’t have a new date. On 3/28 I reached out to the hotel to cancel and they told me I need to cancel the third party which I did. I received an email back from a CSR apologizing that they can’t do anything for me. Many other companies are extending cancellation policies. I had no issues with Southwest Airlines or Priceline with cancelling and receiving credits and refunds for this same trip. I don’t know why TicketsatWork is not doing anything to help.

They didn’t offer any type of trip insurance or anything. The event cancellation us beyond my control. I don’t even need a refund I can use the credit and stay at the hotel when the essence festival gets new dates. Ticketsatwork is acting like they can’t assist me at all. I don’t even think they contacted the hotel to help me. I really hope this can get resolved. I’ve never had any issues with ticketsatwork until now.

They even have a whole section on their website about cancellations due to coronavirus which says: HOTEL CANCELLATION REQUESTS: We are working with our hotel suppliers to cancel existing hotel reservations and can accommodate most requests. Please contact us via our contact form and detail as many specifics as possible, including hotel name, location and dates of stay, so we can help expedite your request.

Hello, I purchased tickets for Disney back on 2/14/2020 for an upcoming trip to Disney World on 4/8-4/13. As you know Disney World is currently closed due to COVID-19 and Orange County FL is going to shelter in place indefinitely starting on Thursday. I have reached out to Tickets at Work and they have stated that they will do nothing to accommodate me. This is very unsettling as I spent $2381 on these tickets and the fact that I am possibly going to lose this money without recourse. I understand these are final sale tickets but these are unforeseen circumstances and I am willing to take this to whatever length necessary to seek a resolution. Please someone help me out before I start going to social media/news outlets to get someone to speak my concerns if you will not work with me.

Tickets At Work appreciates the opportunity to speak. The customer purchased tickets from our reseller section called "Preferred Access." These tickets are sold by trusted brokers and sellers. Once they are purchased, as agreed in the terms and conditions of sale, these tickets are considered a final sale. We definitely understand there is a global issue that is impacting everybody and we have reached out to the broker a few times to see about a refund which was declined. The NBA has not cancelled games due to the virus issue and has postponed the matches for a later date. They are not providing a refund to the sellers and they hope to have games played some time during the year.

I purchased three tickets at a total of nearly 700 dollars for Disney. I was denied a refund in these times after Disney was shut down due to the Corona Virus. Disney even refunded my money but Tickets At Work denied because said Disney can be used at a later time. I am off work, being quarantined and in a State of shelter in place and could use my 700 dollars not knowing how long going to last. Also I have no plans in the near future to go to Disney. This is awful customer service in a time like this.

Approximately 3 wks ago (2/26/2020), I have made a hotel reservation for the last weekend in March (3/27-29/2020). Every year, about this time, I book this reservation through TAW because my son and his high school rowing team have a regatta (rowing race) at the Sandy Run Regional Park in Northern Va. We live about 4 hours away (south) hence why we drive up the night before and just stay for the weekend.

Well, in light of the current situation with COVID-19, the organization that host this regatta has canceled all events until further notice; therefore, I have no need for this hotel reservation. I have spent hours on the phone multiple times and even left my number (to hold my place in line) for a call back. I have emailed the company as well. All to no avail. I understand and can appreciate the high volume of calls and longer wait times but a couple of hours just waiting for someone to come on the line is just ridiculous. I will never use TAW to make any hotel reservations in the future nor will I be using them to purchase tickets of any kind. Based on this experience alone is enough for me to go ahead and pay regular/full price just to avoid this headache and frustration.

I checked my Ticketmaster account, no tickets. I contacted TicketsatWork over 15 times, was on the phone for 1 hour, 34 min on 3/5 and also contacted Ticketmaster. Since the tickets were purchased through a 3rd party, Ticketmaster cannot help. No one, team members or managers have been able to locate my tickets. When you accept the tickets, you are then supposed to receive an email to transfer the tickets. I did not receive this email. Customer Service asks the same questions and no one can help. The $884 has been charged to my credit card. This has been a horrible experience. Crying and headaches with no one to help! And what am I to do about the $884????

I have purchased a hotel package in Cancun thru Ticketsatwork at the end of January of 2020. The trip was booked for 03/17/20. I purchased what I believed to be "all inclusive" package. Confirmed by phone with two different salespeople. First call couple days prior to purchase. Second call, I have asked the representative to confirm that in fact this is a "all inclusive" deal, and she said it was. This call was recorded and there is a proof of our conversation.

Fast forward to now, I have called the hotel directly on 03/08 to make sure everything was set as expected. To my surprise, the reservation existed but it was a "room only" deal. I have attempted to call ticketsatwork right away and was told the supervisor will call me back as soon as she/he is done with other call. I waited till 11:30pm and no one has called me.

I called again on 03/09/20 6:30am and was told that the only thing they can do is to refund my money within 5-7business days because they do not sell "all inclusive" packages anymore. If I have not called the resort to confirm, I would not found out about this problem until me and my family got there. We would have been charged additional $400 per night for what we thought we already paid for. This could put most families thru serious financial hardship.

Now, not only I have to wait for my money I had to reserved directly thru the hotel, and it's costing me $1100 more than what I have planned for. In addition, my hotel choices are limited at this point because of Spring Break travelers. So disappointed and stressed. I will never book thru them again and definitely letting my company HR and benefits person about it. Save yourself some stress and book it thru a reputable agent.

I don't know why you would have to call in IF you want a refund, who wouldn't want their money back? We should have took the money and ran away. We talked to them and booked the rooms only to find out after that the currency was in USD and not CAD. Buried deep in the FAQ; it says that all payments are in USD, but it should say currency on the prices or at least at checkout. We ended up paying almost $850 CAD more than what we would have on Expedia.

I bought Post Malone tickets for my 16 year old daughter and 3 of her friends at this website in December that is offered through my employer. These tickets were a Christmas present to the girls from the parents. I offered to purchase these tickets at a good price and never had a concern that tickets would be invalid. Concert was Friday 2/21 and received a frantic call after the girls went to concert that the tickets were not valid and were resold. They had to go to box office and I spoke with ticket office contact that the issue was with third party site where I bought these tickets and girls couldn’t get in. I had to buy new valid tickets at a higher price to ensure girls could get in concert because concert was starting in 40 minutes. I had no time to contact Tickets at Work as I was not home and didn’t have their contact information with me.

I called them after I got new tickets to get refund and they told me they emailed me replacement tickets (no guarantee these tickets were valid) after my daughter was denied access to concert but I wasn’t checking my emails at a frantic time with 4 upset girls and me trying to make a wrong right with limited time. I am embarrassed with the other parents that bought these tickets that they were voided as buying these tickets from work discount program should be valid. I was told by ticketsatwork needs to review and will take 10 business days If they will refund me original tickets and the difference I paid for valid tickets which is very frustrating. Waiting to see if ticketsatwork will make this horrible situation girls and I went through right. Ticketsatwork promise on website terms and conditions states all tickets issued will be genuine and valid entry into event which is a false statement.

I've purchased concert tickets for several years, and even mobile tickets are sent before the day of the show.

I have several waiting to be used, that are for August or later. But the ones I purchased from TicketsatWork.... I have to wait until the day of show. How can I feel ok driving 6 hours to not have any proof of ticket? Aside from that the upcharge was insane. I compared their prices to venue prices. Triple! I know it's too late to cancel, but will not purchase from TicketsatWork again. Not knowing if I wasted 506.00 for 2 concert tickets and just trusting I can get them the day of show, is no way to provide good customer service. Tickets At Work appreciates the opportunity to speak. The guest purchased tickets from our re-seller section called "Preferred Access." The tickets bought on this website, as stated, can be higher or lower that the actual face value on the voucher. However, these tickets do come from trusted brokers and sellers and we do guarantee that the customer will get the vouchers before show time.

As a firm believer in great customer service and quality, we have a manager working with the seller to see if the customer can get the tickets sooner than anticipated. He is also investigating the prices of the tickets compared to what Ticket Master has them for. In addition to this, the manager has also been in contact with the customer directly to see what can be done to make sure she has a great time at the show. We recommend the guest work directly with that manager that has been contacting her directly for the past few weeks.

I have always booked hotels and bought concert tickets on the TicketsatWork website, as I have discounts for employees. I have always believed in the slogan "Exclusive Employee Discounts". I bought two tickets today on the ticketsatwork website via ADP system and to my surprise the ticket was almost double the original value that is being sold at Ticketmaster. I bought ticketsatwork for $ 132.00 each ticket and in ticketmaster the same section - row was $ 75.00. I tried to cancel my purchase a few minutes later and was told that they could not cancel and that I would have two options:

    1. These tickets are direct entry and require no personal identification. Therefore, you can gift your tickets to a loved one who can enjoy the experience.

    2. You may explore service providers who assist in the legal resale of tickets. We are unable to endorse any specific provider.

We purchased tickets to Disney's Christmas party through TicketsatWork and it rained the entire night. Events did not go on as planned. Disney is offering refunds for this. We called Disney and they said that they would issue refund but because the credit card went through tickets at work they can't. We got the representatives name and phone number and she put it in her notes that they would issue us a refund if possible and told us to contact TicketsatWork. We contacted TicketsatWork and the representative stated that they can issue refunds in situation like these and they would get back to us in a few days.

TicketsatWork then contacts us and says Disney said no and that we should contact them. We then contact Disney again and it took a whole minute for the representative to pull up the first ladies notes that they would issue us a refund. So again we contact tickets at work and got the same response. Buyer beware. They make up excuses. Save yourself the time, hassle and money by buying directly from company or venue. It is not worth saving 5 dollars a ticket to be out 700 plus dollars. So basically if you buy tickets from this company and they venue or event gives refunds tickets at work WILL NOT.

I booked the hotel on December 10th, and never got notification from TicketsatWork that the hotel reservation got canceled. I have their confirmation email and never got any cancellation email. I called TicketsatWork about the situation, they told me that they were going to relocate me without any additional charges to another hotel or refund full.

I asked them to find me another hotel given that it was a extremely busy time in Honolulu, and I personally couldn’t find any other options by googling hotels. At first, they called me back in 30 mins and told me they found Hilton Waikiki beach hotel, which they confirmed with the hotel already that there is a room available for two nights. I accepted without a second thought even it’s a less nice hotel than the original one I booked. Then they put me on hold for another 20 mins and finally told me that option wasn’t available anymore either. They said they will keep searching for next option and call me back again. When I got their call back in another 40 mins, they informed me they will keep searching but nothing so far is available for 27th and the chance to find one for 27th is very slight, but there is plenty of options available for tomorrow.

While I was waiting for them, I googled again and found one place available for 27th and another place available for 28th. So I told them if they could book the one i found for 27th for $900, they refused to book it for me because that hotel wasn’t showing on their platform, so I have to book it myself and they won’t reimburse me for additional fees. I felt really frustrated at that point but can only accept the fact that they can’t do anything with 27th, so I asked if they can book the 28th for now since there are options available and keep searching for 27th. The person put me on hold again because she wasn’t sure if they can split my reservation. After 20 mins, she came back and refused to do it again because their system didn’t allow them to split my reservation.

I felt this is too inflexible especially in this real extreme situation. I asked to escalate to a supervisor and hoping they can make exception for this. Then, this customer care manager, named Carlos took over the line. When I told him this situation, he told me that there is nothing they can do but to refund me. I asked why can’t they book me a place for 28th, he said if they put a reservation for me for 28th, the hotels will reject the requests anyways because it is too short of time and it won’t be guaranteed I will get a room. I asked him if this is the case, what is the purpose for ticketsatwork to exist?

First, I didn’t get any notification that my original reservation got canceled, and second they can’t relocate me for only 28th even I accepted the fact that there is nothing on 27th. And I asked him why I didn’t get any notification for the canceled reservation. He simply said that because the hotel didn’t communicate with ticketsatwork that they canceled the reservation so there is no way for them to inform me. I then asked him then why this hotel even show up on on their website if there is no communication between the hotel and the website. He got inpatient with me by asking these questions and he spoke to me with a very unpleasant tone by asking, “Do you want the refund or not?” From a customer perspective, I simply want to understand what is wrong with their system and I was completely frustrated by not getting any answers nor resolutions from this website.

That is the end of the story with ticketsatwork, but not the end of the story of my night of December 27th. I spent five hours from 3:30pm to 8:30pm waiting for ticketsatwork to find a another place. I was frustrated and try everything at the same time in order to find a place to stay for my family. My husband kept calling around including Airbnb and even hostels. And literally nothing is available in Oahu. After another few hours, we finally found a hotel that they just got two rooms canceled, so we were able to stay for 27th. And it costs us $700 for one night and we still don’t know where to stay for tonight, December 28th.

I usually use Priceline, TripAdvisor, Expedia or bookings.com and never have issues with them before. Since Honolulu hotels were very expensive during holiday season, we thought to give it a try since TicketsatWork offered the lowest price and we thought they are legit since it was popped from our company’s employee website. I will contact my company that this website should never never show up as an option again for anyone to book. TicketsatWork is the one who is responsible for this disaster. We would never imagine that we deserved this while spending our vacation and celebrate holidays together. I personally never had such bad experience before in my life. Please STAY AWAY from this website. Don’t ruin your vacation by using ticketsatwork. It does not worth your money, your time with this website.

I purchased tickets to a musical, on Dec 12th never received them, then on the day of the show spent 3 hours on the phone with them trying to get my tickets. They finally send them to me 45 mins before the show is about to start and I was shocked that I had only purchased 2 tickets but the seat were separate. Why would anyone go to a musical and have separate seats. They refused to refund my money and I never saw the show! Very poor customer service. I will never recommend them to anyone!

I purchased a set of three 1-day tickets to Disneyland, lured in by the "save over 10%" tag that they put over the price for the tickets. They include a $25 Restaurant.com gift card presumably as a bonus. It was quite a surprise to find out that they charge ~ $23.00 in fees, which I discovered only after I purchased the package (they sneak in taxes and fees without telling you about it until you've completed the sale).

When I realized the hidden fee a minute or so after purchased, I called them and asked for a refund on the entire purchase, or at least a refund on the handling fees and was given a sarcastic response by one of the TAW phone agents that the transaction details were all there for me to read. Truly an unprofessional person. I asked him to submit a refund request and was just told by another employee Maricruz that my request was denied because the fees were provided on the order summary prior to check out. So, I went back to the website and tried to repeat the purchase (without submitting my credit card info again) and the fees were not there on the screen prior to checkout - proving the fact that the handling fees are added on at the time of the credit card transaction.

Here's the facts - the tickets they sell are the same price as at the park (deceiving that they make it look like they are $25 more at the park when they are inflating the number with the restaurant.com gift card). There are no taxes in my state and no taxes on Calif. park tickets either, so that doesn't explain the "taxes and handling". The scam is that they get you to essentially pay for the 'bonus' gift cards from restaurant.com cards with the TAW handling fees. Why would anyone want to purchase park tickets + a restaurant gift card on a discount site for their face value? Perhaps because they are being scammed? I can't believe my US Veteran worker union lists these fraudsters as a discount benefit vendor, and that they get away with this. STEER CLEAR!!!

I booked three rooms at hotel through this site. Well within the dates of the cancellation time frame stated, I called to cancel one of the rooms. Tickets at Works refused to cancel the room and asked me to call and cancel the room myself. After canceling at the hotel, I called back and gave them my cancellation code. They then refused my refund and ask me to call the hotel again and speak to a manager to approve the refund. Long story, tickets at work denied refunding the room and gave me the run around for 2 days. They took nearly $250 for a room that has been cancelled. I will never use this service again. Avoid at all costs. They are just a go between company who contracts with another vendor (i.e. Get a Room) to book rooms for you. Some of the worst customer service I have ever received! I should never be asked to call another company and basically do their job for them.

I was reached out to very quickly by a representative Richard who worked with me on this. He was really nice about the mix up and made sure we understood what went wrong. They do have good prices so it's unfortunate this situation happened but again, this representative was incredibly nice to talk with.

We booked a reservation for the Venetian through Tickets At Work. They always list resort fees with their hotel reservation order summaries. This hotel didn't list any. Surprised, before we booked we called customer service to verify this. Talking to multiple people we were told with absolute certainty there would be no resort fees since the hotel is required to disclose those fees with Tickets At Work and they are required to list them. This is all laid out in their Terms of Sale. In addition, refund information is listed for any typographical errors. Since it was an error to not have this information listed and we made our reservation based on that info Tickets At Work is at fault for the surprise resort fees.

We tried talking with customer service about this both with the Venetian who understandably has resort fees as nearly all hotels in Vegas do and with Tickets At Work who refused to accept any responsibility for this. I'm sick of being lied to by this company. The sheer amount of disrespect they have for their customers is disgusting.

    Original Review: Dec. 7, 2019

A close family friend passed away suddenly in August of this year. His birthday would have been October 11th and he would have been celebrating with his wife and family at Knott's Scary Farm. In our grief and the want to celebrate his life, I wanted to do something nice and take his family to Knott's Scary Farm. We made and confirmed plans, and I went on my mobile phone to ticketsatwork.com to purchase 10 tickets for October 11th for $481.

The first time I hit purchase, the system timed out, so I had to re-enter my credit card to process. I clicked purchase, and when it finally went through, I was horrified to see that the tickets that I received were for 11/1 and not 10/11. Immediately, I made a call to customer care at ticketsatwork, com letting them know that the tickets that ended up being purchased after the system had timed out on me was for the incorrect date and that I needed an exchange and would be willing to pay any fees incurred in order to get tickets for 10/11 and not 11/1.

The customer care person told me that tickets were non-refundable and that when I clicked to purchase it, I was accepting these terms and conditions and that there was nothing that they could do; however, because they empathized with my situation, as a courtesy, they would contact Knott's Berry Farm and send a request for a refund for me.. They stated there was no guarantee, but to check back again tomorrow.

The following day, I called ticketsatwork.com customer care again to see if there was any status and was told that someone from Knott's Berry Farm responded back and said that if I re-purchase tickets for the correct date, they would consider the refund but needed proof of the repurchase of tickets with the correct dates. Based on that, and in good faith, I purchased another 10 ticketsatwork for 10/11 for $552 over the phone so that ticketsatwork could submit the request over.

I called ticketsatwork.com every day for 2 weeks thereafter and was told each time that they haven't heard back from anyone at Knott's Scary Farm and that they are still awaiting to hear back. Fast forward now to December 7, 2019, just finished tearfully talking to another customer care person at ticketsatwork.com STILL saying that they are awaiting from Knott's Berry Farm for their response and they haven't heard back and to wait another 7-10 business days from today for a response and approval for the refund. If you were NEVER going to give me a refund, WHY TELL ME THAT IF I BUY ANOTHER 10 TICKETS FROM YOU, YOU'LL CONSIDER IT? I could have bought it directly from Knott's Berry Farm cheaper with a generous refund policy and no heartache.
