CHANCE OF A LIFETIME FOR ME!!!! My husband, Danny ** purchased 2 tix for me on November 5 2018 @ 11:09AM for $383.50 per ticket, total $775.18!! I would NEVER pay this price but the chance to see George Strait AND Chris Stapleton was going to be worth it. So a couple of days before the concert I still don't have tickets. Danny contacts SeatGeek to follow-up on the tickets. They tell him they contacted the seller and the tickets would be emailed on March 28th. That day gets here and nothing, so he contacts them again to find out the seller did NOT have the tix! Why I do not know, BUT Ticketmaster has a guarantee to get me tix to this concert. So that afternoon I get an email to accept a couple of tix, I accept thinking this is my only option.
They are on the floor in the VERY BACK! I'm 5' 3" so I can't see anything. My friend and I go and it was the most miserable concert I've ever been to. I prefer seats in the upper level, where I bought them so I am able to see. I don't know why I wasn't offered tix in those sections except the ones sent to me sold for $130 the day of the concert!!! I paid THREE times that amount! The lady and her daughter beside us told us that themselves. I went online and sure enough that's what they were selling for. I was sick to my stomach to say the least! I will be very cautious buying any further concert tix online at either SeatGeek or Ticketmaster. Worst experience ever!

What kind of business can't offer a cancellation of an order placed only minutes earlier? I bought tickets and realized minutes later I couldn't go. Their product is digital - the tickets I accidentally bought are not even on sale to the general public yet and they refuse to refund me. I have no power - they simply said I can use THEIR service to sell the tickets to someone else! It's pure evil. We need regulation of this absurd company that exploits its consumers with zero consequences.

Ticketmaster fees are insane. A $95 dollar seat to see Iron Maiden end up costing $160 at checkout. That is an insane markup on price. Then add in the mobile only ticketing system. We have to load an app with crazy levels of permissions to access a mobile ticket... They are obviously collecting user data with the levels or permissions. I try to use a browser, but the security settings I use won't let the javascript load and my anti-fingerprinting on my browsers won't let me load the web page. Absolute garbage. Any BS they tell you about mobile ticketing being easy and fast is marketing crap for 'we don't want you selling tickets without us getting another cut'. They have a monopoly on ticket sales. They should be broken up.

I was quite excited that I was eligible for a verified fan presale for a concert. There are no bargains with these prices! I see no difference! What a gross waste of time. Almost $300/a ticket and this is presale? This is absolutely outrageous. This band has so many shows and keep adding more, I'm sure as the concert gets closer, prices will be cheaper than this rip off price! False advertising is what I call it!

I ordered two tickets to a concert through Ticketmaster. The site clearly stated that delivery by Standard Mail was Free, as did my confirmation. When I still did not have my tickets after 45 days I rechecked the website to confirm free mail delivery and emailed Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster responded that my delivery method was Mobile and that I would need to pay $3.50 for mail delivery. When I rechecked the website I saw that they had just changed the order method from mail to Mobile and the reference to free mail delivery was no longer there. So unethical and sleazy.

Bought tickets for Boston Bruins April 23rd game. Put them up for resale and chose option to have them on sale until 1 hour after the game started (8:00). At 6:15, game day, got an email that "Your tickets for the following event did not sell and are no longer listed for sale". Tried to relist but was blocked out. Spoke to Customer Service and she admitted that this is happening often and that they would look into it. They got back to me with the response "that I had cancelled the order" and they would do nothing even though they admitted there was a glitch.... I am out $600....

I ordered with Ticketmaster's re-sale system to go and see Ricky Gervais' new stand up show. I booked the tickets 5 days ago and the event is in 2 days but I am still yet to receive my tickets. This company is awful and they don't have a proper helpline to call. I also sent them an email form about my enquiry and they're still yet to reply. I found a number for them and called them up, but the woman I spoke to was incompetent. She said my reference number wasn't correct (it was from my confirmation email) and then asked if I could read out my whole debit card number (to which I said no). She then asked me to repeat the booking name & venue at least 5 times as she didn't understand me. She finally said she was going to terminate my call and hung up before I could ask why. Awful service from this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM AT ANY COST!!!!

Bought a ticket to the Jonas Brothers for my daughter and kept getting an error message every time I tried buying a ticket. One finally goes through and the price goes way up. It was $196. Went up to $415. Wtf. How can you do that. Then I asked if I could get a refund the very next day only to be told no. I can’t even exchange the ticket, unless I want to buy a more expensive ticket. Ticketmaster is the worst for buying anything. The only reason I purchased it through them is because of the pre-sale. Horrible prices! Now I’m broke because I wanted to buy one ticket for my daughter.

I've had it with Ticketmaster’s self-scalping (Platinum), excess fees (EVERY ticket pays the parking fee), game-playing, and QUEUES! Why is it so hard to get a decent seat to see my favorite band and not have to pay $400+ to be up close?

In reference to my previous review. Ticketmaster corrected my issue at no charge. After I discuss my issue with a phone rep who was no help I sent an e-mail explaining my issue. They changed my seats from 3 and 4 to 1 and 2 that I thought I was buying.

When I booked my seats it stated seats 1 and 2. But when I clicked on purchase tickets it came back with seat 3 and 4. I get aisle seat because I have a artificial knee and can’t keep my leg bent. I called Ticketmaster representative and was told I would have to pay $10.00 per ticket to CORRECT it. I explained to the representative I did not select seats 3 and 4. The seats showed 1 and 2 until I made the final purchase. The representative confirmed seats 1 and 2 were available. This is nothing but SORRY customer service.

I bought tickets online on April 4th. My receipt said they'd be mailed in 10-14 days. It's been 26. Called and had the same problems as another reviewer with the bot. Finally got a rude human on the phone who told me there was a "ticket delay" and they wouldn't be mailed out until August 28th! He said it was in the "fine print" but became very rude and talked all over me when I asked him to navigate me to that language on their site. I repeatedly asked him to stop talking over me, yet he persisted reading to me as if I were a 2 year old. I asked 3 times to speak to his supervisor.
He said he had to put me on hold (again) for 1-2 minutes. Six minutes later someone from the "escalation" team (NOT the guy's supervisor) got on the line and basically told me the same thing. So, I can't give hard copy tickets for a gift as I'd planned, they have my money and I have nothing, and... I'm moving before that date. What are the chances I'll ever receive these tickets? It's not the first time this has happened but I didn't expect any delays since this event is not likely to be a sell-out. Somebody in government needs to do something about this company's monopoly on practically all things related to entertainment. Enough! I've had it with their self-scalping, excess fees, game-playing, and rudeness.

You can't speak to anyone until you give some information to the automated system and that was impossible. It asked for my 17 digit order number, but after giving 10 digits I was cut off and told that the order number was incorrect and I needed to put in the 17 digit order number. After three times, it was programmed to ask another question - the city and state of the venue. Apparently, Louisville, Kentucky has been wiped off the earth because according to the program there is no city by that name and I should try again. All this because I wanted to know how to get my tickets if I didn't have a mobile phone. Absurd!

I recently purchased 4 tickets to the UniverSoul Circus in New York. I arrived with our special needs child just to find out that our tickets were not valid. The amount was taken out of my account but my tickets were invalid. I was not notified. I drove 2 1/2 hrs with a special needs child. I had to purchase 4 expensive tickets due to my seats being sold to someone else. I called Ticketmaster the next day only to find out they canceled my tickets without notifying me. This is horrible customer service. We missed the first part of the show because I had to go to my car to get my credit card and then stand back in line and buy tickets that cost much more than the tickets initially bought. This was a huge inconvenience and very embarrassing. I am appalled that Ticketmaster operates likes this.

Went on Ticketmaster site and put in to purchase 2 2nd row balcony seats for Boston Bruins game at Paid for seats. Got message seats were secured and I paid. 200. Great price! Got message order in progress. Then got email, “Sorry your order failed." Absolutely ridiculous. Now same seats are 275. They’re playing games. Beware!

I decided to see if Ariana Grande had any last minute behind the stage tickets on the day of the concert, which she did. The seat map showed the price at $72, Perfect for my daughter's budget, but when you click on the seat and go to the next page to purchase the price jumps to $249! I tried this over and over for several seats in that section and the same thing every time. Unethical bait and switch tactic.

No one was helpful. Have not used Ticketmaster in years. Bought 1 ticket. Had to print at home. Concert night rolls around. My email link to print tickets directs me to a blank page "forbidden access". Any different computer did the same thing. Logging into my actual Ticketmaster account I click tickets or account and still directed to "forbidden access". From what I researched online my IP could have been auto banned by the system... Wtf? Waited 30 minutes on phone to be hung up on by an employee who never did what they said they'd do.
Ok, 2 hours already into the concert. Still home, no ticket, about to put me in a bad mood all weekend... I call AGAIN to wait another 30 minutes for someone to "place delivery service" of said ticket to show up at box office with ID, etc to collect ticket. Nothing else I could do but drive all the way and trust his word. Showed up to box office but people never have received any call or have any information about my ticket. Thank God old-school Rockers are cool. Saw my dismay and said, "Just go through man." Caught the last band thankfully.

Phone number leads to you being hung up on. Be careful not to switch the 47 around. Can anyone find the 24/7 live chat? The instructions lead nowhere! Oh and the human call back I'm still waiting 72hrs and refresh tells me 23mins. Finally got an email reply and it told me that I could not get a ticket to an OPEN seat. Next to 2 seats that I have already purchased. Because it is included in a bundle package now. It's wasn't at the time I purchased my 2 tickets 3 days prior. Which are all standard admission tickets in nosebleed sections. So tell me Ticketmaster what part of any of this is Customer Service? I can bring up the event I am going to and see the seat I need/want and you are telling me I can not buy a ticket to that seat. Why?!

Hello I bought tickets for Las Vegas Aerosmith concert for April 8 and the system gave me for the 6 and when I noticed was too late. I want my money back. I didn’t receive the product I paid for and I am really worried. Faulty app and the problem is that I am going to have to pay for my rest of my party and assume 2700 usd of scam due to faulty Ticketmaster app that showed the incorrect date and purchase. Ticketmaster sells me 3 seats to Justin Timberlake's show at Oracle Arena which ends up being 3/15/19 after he reschedules. We spend a small fortune for these seats, we get to them only to arrive to a huge screen blocking our whole view of seeing anything but a huge black abyss. Just to let all of you know, I used to work for a large concert promoter, and if you arrive at a show with obstructed views, you go straight to customer service at the venue and demand a seat change... which we did. Even with better seats, Justin and Oracle had one of the most crappiest stage setups and screen and post blockages I've ever seen. The workers were rude too.
Ticketmaster has become one of the worst monopolies of ticket selling of our times. I honestly believe they release very few tickets to the public to buy, they probably "deals" with secondary ticket sellers where they sell mass quantities to them, and the tickets we are left with are exorbitantly expensive with extremely unnecessary high fees attached to them. Years ago, Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam tried to go against the evil Ticketmaster. They did a concert (with other bands) at Chrissy Field in SF and everyone had to show their IDs to pick up their tickets at will call...NO SERVICE CHARGES! Eddie! We need you to fight the fight against Ticketmaster again, PLEASE!!!
PS: Please, everyone, please buy your tickets with a credit card (not debit or PayPal, etc). There is no reason for you to fight with Ticketmaster! If you receive your tickets ripped up, you don't receive them, they change them to horrible seats... Document and dispute directly through your credit card! Only give them ONE CHANCE to remedy the situation. :)

Unreal. I'm glad I somewhat figured it out. I had bought tickets from TickPick because Ticketmaster is just an expansive scam of a seller. A user from TM had 2 tickets I bought for a hockey game. Received an email from this person to accept his offer (he was transferring them to me). I accepted, and they were not in my account. NUMEROUS times I logged in and out of both the website and app. Wondering where they are. They only showed when I clicked on a special link. THE ONLY WAY I SAW THEM was to transfer them into Google Pay. Meanwhile I had transferred them to myself again. STILL didn't show. Ridiculous. Good thing I just saved it. Who would of figured this out?

I entered in three presale dates for the Metallica tickets and the web site and mobile applications have a lot of issues that is clear are made on purpose so people are not able to buy tickets at a normal price. When you select available tickets it tells you to use a laptop to buy, and I was using my Mac Pro and it was still saying same error. I was logged in and still was not allowing me to buy. It is clear that these bugs are there so people are not able to buy tickets and let the resellers get the tickets to later on sale them at double or triple the price. Ticketmaster is collated with the resellers so that for Ticketmaster is a double win. Shame Ticketmaster Shame!!!

Ticketmaster is a scam. Tickets are sold at 3 to 4 times the printed price. No refunds! Customer service was very sarcastic. They even compared themselves to the airlines, yep scammers. They call their scam, “dynamic pricing”.

I went onto Ticketmaster's website to purchase tickets to an event. After I put in my credit card information their system popped up a message that said "order timed out, seats will be released to available". I tried to call but the recording said they were all assisting other calls and I could leave a message. No option to hold for the next available associate. I tried the online purchase again and it timed out again. I eventually drove to the venue and purchased the tickets in person (for nearly half the price). A week later while reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed that Ticketmaster had charged my care 3 TIMES! I filed a complaint and they refused to refund the money. I WILL NEVER PURCHASED FROM TICKETMASTER AGAIN!

I purchased 2 tickets to an event mid February. I received one email with tickets to print off. When my March credit card arrived I was double charged. I had to figure out how to find my purchase history and they had charged me for 2 seats in 2 places. I notified them and their reply was basically too late for a refund. That is not how you handle business, that is their error not mine. I certainly did not give my credit card twice.

A girl messaged me on Twitter about how she has the same seats and so I checked my acc and it said my tickets were canceled. I did a live chat with Ticketmaster 5/9 to cancel my delivery method and change to e-ticket...not to CANCEL MY whole ticket. They canceled it probably around around 2 pm? And I asked the girl when she bought her tickets and she said 2 pm. They haven’t emailed or sent me a refund. If she didn’t message me I probs would have shown up at the concert looking like Boo Boo the Fool. I have stayed up for hours waiting for this ticket drop and finally got it but due to yalls representatives that messed up my order, I AM SUFFERING AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE MY IDOLS.
I at least would like a better seat than originally. I AM EVEN WILLING TO STAND IN THE AISLE ON THE FLOOR BECAUSE MY SEAT WAS A FLOOR SEAT AND WAS REALLY GOOD. This is really disappointing because I liked Ticketmaster when everyone says Ticketmaster is trash...Truly indespicable. What if I had already booked a hotel and airplane to go to Los Angeles for this concert and to have it be canceled?!! I would lose so much money because cancellation fees means I have lost money for what is not even my fault. I have been trying to get in contact with customer service through email and have not gotten a reply. It has been over 48 hours when the Ticketmaster website said it would take around 12 hours for a reply. I can’t even live chat on website anymore because having a ticket “cancelled” revokes it, so I had to call the line many times and the guy on the phone said, “There’s nothing we can do?!”
How would you feel if you waited hours for this ticket launch to see your favorite artist, got your desired ticket (floor, the best), booked a hotel, 2 airplane flights, canceled all your plans to attend and is excited to go to the concert only to find out from someone else (the person who bought the ticket, not even Ticketmaster), that your tickets were canceled?!!! Not only do I have to pay cancellation fees for my hotel, and flight, but also do not receive anything but stress in return, and many complications. The cost is a lot just for ME TO NOT GO TO THE CONCERT AT ALL? AND YOU ARE TELLING ME TO BUY RESALE TICKETS? UNBELIEVABLE. I don’t even need a seat at the concert. I am even willing to stand in the aisle on the floor, but they won’t even let me do that. A friken joke I tell you. I’m so mad because I won’t be able to see BTS and will have to pay cancellation fees and have all of this hassle. They won’t give me a ticket or anything.

Inconvenient, Inconsiderate and Unhelpful. What a joke. These people clearly don't give a damn about anyone. My little sister bought concert tickets for us as a Christmas gift. The show isn't until September but I wanted to plan ahead. It turns out that I can only get into the venue by using my phone as there are no more physical tickets. Not even the option to print them out. Not trying to be a jerk, but taking my business phone into a rock concert does not sound like a good idea. The customer service people clearly didn't care and offered no helpful advice or suggestions. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything from this company again. Furthermore, I will make sure to tell my friends and family to avoid Ticketmaster at all costs.

I went to an internet cafe to purchase some Stray Kids tickets for myself and some of my friends. However, once Ticketmaster let fans into the pre-queue they made me wait 1 MINUTE more than when the actual sale started! Even though this number may seem very insignificant, because of this delay we had to wait for 2000+ people to purchase their tickets first (and mind you Pasadena Civic Auditorium holds slightly less than 3,000).
I am very very disappointed because we've been waiting to buy tickets for their first world tour ever since they debuted and we did not do anything wrong putting in the information when attempting to purchase these tickets. I am 100% sure that this was Ticketmaster's fault and that they handled this situation poorly (by selecting random fans and putting them at the back of the queue despite being prepared and early, with fans who tried to get the tickets later). I am INFURIATED and I hope Stray Kids or any other artists won't use this website to handle ticket sales ever again.

I bought Elton John tickets last year for a show on March 15. Found out yesterday that my tickets were stolen and sold. Ticketmaster is only offering a refund. Say they know who stole them but won't release information. Why are the tickets not invalidated and money returned to the 2nd buyer? The tickets are my property and should be returned to me.

So I went on a Pre-Queue at Ticketmaster for BlackPink Tickets and bought the Official Platinum ticket for $720 plus fees which end up totaling to $850. It was pricey, but in my mind since it's a VIP ticket, at least I'll be given some perks and merchandise of my favorite artist. Note: there was a 5 minute counter on the upper right corner of the purchasing page so I wasn't able to get a chance to do my due diligence. Purchasing the ticket was suppose to give me the feeling of satisfaction, somehow I felt a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Somehow, I felt I just got robbed. To make matters worst, after checking back after 2 hours, I discovered Official Platinum is NOT actually a VIP ticket, it is simple seat assigned by Ticketmaster to sell at a Premium price to put SIGNIFICANTLY MORE money in their pockets!! 3 times the amount advertised to be exact!!
The VIP tickets are selling for less at $420 which includes GA tickets, merchandise and a meet and greet and send off to BlackPink, as well as early entry, that is what I am expecting to get for paying $850!! Yes, I paid more than double without all those perks!! I was also shocked to find out that the prices of the tickets are going down by the hour, with more tickets being made available. In fact, the seat beside me was now selling for only $670 and the one in front of me for $470. That's $300 cheaper for a better seat!! I can't believe TICKETMASTER would do something like this. I never had this problem before in other retailers.
I will surely not buy any tickets at Ticketmaster again in the future and will recommend all my friends, family member, Facebook groups and other concert aficionados to NOT buy from Ticketmaster. To add insult to injury, upon checking the event posters, the highest priced ticket was supposed to be the Blink VIP package which was $430, the rest, including the ticket that I just bought should have been only $230 something and less for the rest!! I went online early hoping to score the best ticket at the lowest price, instead it was the total opposite of what transpired. NEVER AGAIN, TICKETMASTER!! Don't even try calling their customer service, they suck!! They don't even deserve a one star to be honest!!

Ticketmaster asked, "What is your likelihood of recommending Ticketmaster to a friend, on a scale of 0 to 10?" I answered: "A 50% surcharge is NEVER EVER EVER acceptable. Ticketmaster will ultimately be destroyed by equitable competition." Tickets were listed at $39.50. Cost was $59.50. That, my friends, is ludicrous.

I purchased a concert ticket for the first time through Ticketmaster. I couldn't figure out how to print the ticket so I called their customer service number and got a foreign lady that told me to research it myself and hung up on me. I will not be making big ticket purchases through Ticketmaster.

I had two gift cards that expired and wanted to know how the funds can be reinstated on the cards. Ticketmaster explained to me that unclaimed funds are forwarded to New York State's Attorney General's office and can be reinstated to my accounts. I contacted the Attorney General's office in NYS & the Controller's office as well. They explained to me that they receive unclaimed funds in bulk from Ticketmaster, so Ticketmaster needs to request that the gift card funds with all the specific information and forms must come from them. Only Ticketmaster has the power to request NYS with the proper forms to reinstate the funds back to my gift card.
After learning all of this, I spoke with Ticketmaster several times again, and they continued to refer me back to the NYS Attorney General's office to handle, with no explanation. I have no choice but to file a claim against Ticketmaster through the New York State's Attorney General's consumer fraud division. The Ticketmaster organization has no real consumer service department, they just keep "pushing the can down the road", and hoping you'll go away out of frustration. What a horrible experience.

I went to this website to purchase two tickets for a show I wanted to see in April. I found the listing, clicked it, filled out on my information and waited for my confirmation email. Imagine my surprise when the ticket I purchased for Seattle in April ended up being sent to me as a ticket in Georgia for 3 days from now! I contacted their customer service within a minute of purchasing and was on hold for 15 minutes. I explained what happened and was told that since I did not purchase their protection plan(???) that I could not be helped and that they recommend me to SELL THEIR TICKETS ON THEIR OTHER WEBSITE.
I verified that I was on the proper page for Seattle again, and I was. so why was I sent ones for Georgia? I'll never know. After talking to the rep longer, apparently these tickets were also resellers which they offer no refunds on. The page never said they were resellers and I had to go to the depths of their website to see this. I will not use Ticketmaster again.

Having contacted Ticketmaster they stated that their policy was not to take the tickets back in exchange for a future performance date, instead I would have book further tickets and try to sell my existing ones, the current tickets were valued at £51 each x 2. This was I feel a bit risky since the timescale to sell was short.
As such on the day in question we attempted to travel to the venue after 5 hours of chemotherapy but once on the train station platform we felt it too much of a risk to continue due to side effects and decided to return home, missing the performance, which was our concern when trying to change the performance date. We obviously felt aggrieved at this situation and the Ticketmaster policy.
We did, in error, phone Birmingham Hippodrome prior to contacting Ticketmaster who stated their policy being taking tickets back in exchange for a future performance, with a small charge of 7% of tickets costs, which I thought was excellent. Pity Ticketmaster are not so mindful, as I did fully explain my position fully to them. I would be grateful for any response that may be forthcoming from Ticketmaster. My reference was for stalls row N seats N18 and N19 for the 7.20pm performance.

I ordered 2 Monster Jam tickets with the pit pass for my son and husband to go for my son's first time. I had a code from Boy Scouts for free pit pass tickets. I ordered the tickets online, tried to use the code, and the code was not applied and not accepted by Ticketmaster, therefore, I was charged full price for the tickets and pit passes. The pit passes should have been free with the code I was given from scouts. I tried to get a refund, but was also denied a full refund from Ticketmaster. Another scout parent tried the same night and the next day and the code did not work either. When I called into their customer service, I was greeted with an I don't care attitude, no compassion, no professionalism, and too bad I'm sorry. Instead of the tickets costing me $50 for 2 tickets to Monster Jam and the free pit passes, they have now cost me $112.00. I will NOT use Ticketmaster in the future!

Ticket Master seems to be holding a monopoly on a lot of events (especially in the NYC area) where they are the only ticket providers. It has been my experience across many purchases through the years that you simply are committing money to a service that will never stand by you - the customer. The two most vivid examples that come to mind are: 1) Steve Angello concert on NYE a few years back where the venue was either oversold OR the management for Steve Angello likes lines outside, they simply didn't admit the rightful ticket holders in until well after midnight. We just couldn't get in in any reasonable time frame and ticket master had refused to refund us for a ticket they sold us that didn't fulfill its promise.
2) I purchased two tickets to a Broadway show and wanted to switch to the row behind me (I purchased the front row and from pictures it seems the barrier on the mezzanine level would obstruct my view, I'm not tall). I called within minutes of the purchase (around 8:30 a.m. in the morning), but their automated phone response system said they aren't open until 9 a.m. even though they sell tickets 24/7. Calling after 9 a.m. yielded the same exact result where their customer service line would quote their support hours (starting at 9) and would hang up shortly after saying they aren't yet open. This continued until 09:50, at which point I reached out through chat and chat agents refused to assist until I specifically asked for an escalation process. Once I asked for an escalation, somehow the chat agents got the phone line support team to give me a call.
The lady on the phone simply stated that the policy is to never exchange or refund anything that is sold on TicketMaster but because I just purchased they would refund the full ticket price if I preferred that. Once I asked for clarification, they said that they would not refund the service fee (for the service they didn't actually provide) and that they would charge a new service fee when I purchased tickets for the new seats.
Overall, I find this entire process completely ridiculous. These systems and processes should be designed with customer satisfaction in mind and instead, what this massive monopolistic company throws rigid policies at us and they train their human staff to regurgitate them. We all know in 2019 there is no technological barrier preventing a seat change on a completely electronic system and yet TicketMaster is simply refusing to do the right thing for its customers.
Contrary to many other solid businesses, when you engage with TicketMaster chat or phone support, there is no request for a satisfaction survey to collect any feedback from customer either, proving the fact that they simply don't care. At this point, given their lack of care for customers, rigid policies designed to actually shortchange customers, and simply bad technology, I sincerely hope they fail soon and be replaced by the new wave of customer-centric technology and service providers. I would advise all potential customers looking for tickets to avoid them completely if they have the choice.

If you like paying outlandish prices for tickets this is your place. If you like having your tickets voided two days after purchase this is your place. If you like paying ridiculous handling fees this your place, handling fees for tickets you print yourself. I bought Fleetwood Mac tickets to only get an email two days later saying “you don’t have the tickets you thought you did” and still have a hold on my card after they decided to void my transaction with no reasoning other than that. So good luck. I’ll be glad when these scam artist get shut down. They’re no different than ticket scalpers.

I had a horrible experience from start to finish with Ticketmaster. When I tried to purchase tickets online, the transaction was denied twice. They put a hold on over $500 dollars from my bank account!! For tickets I never received. When I called Ticketmaster, they said the bank would have to release the hold on my funds. I did purchase tickets through them as it is an event I really want to go to, but the rep lied to me. I asked if we would be guaranteed the seats I was paying for and he said yes. Then once he had charged my credit card told me that the seats might not be the same I paid for. This whole process was horrible, took too long, and I DO NOT recommend using their service!

The experience of looking forward to seeing a concert is becoming way too expensive. RESELLERS should not be allowed to increase the price of a ticket to the point of one ticket when the lowest price comes in at $700 - WHAT!! This should be illegal. I have tried to get tickets to see Joe Bonamassa and Mark Knopfler and I would have to shell out between $350-$1500 to see Joe Bonamassa or Mark Knopfler. This is not right, reseller should lose their consumer license to do business because they are shutting your average income earner out of seeing an artist they love. SHAME ON YOU.

I tried to purchase seats for an event via Ticketmaster.com. The website said the selected seats were not available. I then picked another set of seats. Unknown to me Ticketmaster billed me for both sets of tickets even though I never received the 1st pair of tickets. They are denying my request for a refund. Ticketmaster even researched and acknowledged the tickets in question were never used/scanned at the event. The customer service was horrible, no calls back, long wait times, etc.

I attempted 4 times the same day to purchase Elton John tickets and would get to the payment screen and not have the opportunity to enter payment information. I tried again days later because I thought that the site had problems due to high demand and encountered the same problem. I attempted to call Ticketmaster customer service and would only receive an automated response. Over several days I never had the opportunity to contact a live agent. Not only did I give up and miss out, Elton John missed the opportunity to sell tickets.
If the Elton John experience wasn't enough, I tried to purchase Ludacris tickets for my kids. Again I had problems with trying to purchase them through Ticketmaster.com. Finally I received a message "It's not you, it's us" from them and was instructed to click a link to check status. To my surprise the tickets were processed. What if I hadn't clicked the link? What if I tried again and was successful? I cringed because I could have lost my hard earned money because the Ticketmaster site is unreliable and there is no way to speak with a live agent.

There was a concert to be performed by Nas at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for March 5, 2019. I tried to purchase tickets Jan 26, 2019 the day that they were supposed to go on sale but as soon as I tried to purchase the tickets all of a sudden the tickets weren't available and yes I too believe that there is a third party purchasing tickets because when you go to StubHub the tickets are there at triple the price.

I posted Elton John tickets I had purchased through another service on Ticketmaster as I was invited to a suite. 9 hours before the event Ticketmaster, in their infinite wisdom, pulled my tickets off line and did not notify me. I learned of it by checking to see if they had sold and could not find them listed even though I got a confirmation email from them. I spoke to 6 people over the course of 4 calls and no one would tell me why they were pulled other than "potential fraud". Well guess what, today they called (4 days later) and said the reason why is that my account had been inactive for a long time and a new posting set off a trigger. Again, no one told me and no one is willing to take accountability and refund me my money for their decision. An email or a simple call from them would have remedied this.

Friends bought us Ticketmaster gift cards to the value of £60. The event we wanted to attend came to £66 after fees, delivery processing etc was added. Trying to locate and purchase the tickets on the Ticketmaster website has taken at least 10 years off my life. I have never experienced anything so chronic or frustrating. Decided to phone this morning after 30 minutes of different phone numbers, options and price of call info then waiting waiting waiting... Have decided to consider which people I dislike the most and give them the gift cards! Maybe the 'friends' who gave us the cards have already been through this and passed them on to us!!! Grrrrrrrr! Do yourself a favour and do not have anything to do with Ticketmaster if humanly possible. Just live a good and simple life.

I was trying to buy 8 tickets for a Miami Heat Game at American Airlines Arena. I choose one option and the screen said that the transaction couldn't be finalized because the number of tickets exceeded the number allowed. So I went back and chose other tickets and tried again, the system went through and it says that I have my tickets. Then I received two emails confirming both transactions, it means that they charged me for 16 tickets. I called immediately to make the claim and they said that now I have to sell the tickets that I don't need, and of course they will receive double commission for the sale of the tickets. I was for more than an hour with the agent and until now nothing is resolved. Asked to talk with a supervisor and I still waiting for somebody to call me and help me.

I purchased tickets for my father for a concert through Ticketmaster. I had to transfer the tickets to my father who does not have an email address and/or smart phone. I attempted to call Ticketmaster however they have no call waiting function. It simply says all their operators are busy and to phone back. After several days of calling I decided to email. I was very clear that I needed another method to transfer the ticket other than email. The response to my email... a link as to how to transfer the ticket via email.
Despite making my request being made clear on multiple occasions I received two more responses where I was informed to transfer online. On the third attempt they finally sent me another number to call. This automated system was horrendous as well. It took 20 minutes just to reach a person and I had to hold for 10 minutes after I was transferred to an operator. The operator then informed me I should transfer the tickets via email. After much arguing she set the tickets up so that they would be available at Will Call. Or so I hope... as I have since received another email indicating that I should transfer the tickets via email.

On Feb 9, 2018 I purchased 2 tickets for Elton John through the verified fan presale. The seats were on the floor at the LA Forum, so good seats. I had planned to surprise my gf with these tickets for Christmas and had also bought plane tickets and booked accommodations (we live in Boston). On 12/21/18, I logged on to the Ticketmaster app on my phone and was shocked to discover that the tickets were sold and that I would get paid in 7-10 business days. I had not listed the tickets for sale. I immediately checked my email (I have sold tickets on Ticketmaster before and know that they automatically send an email when you create a listing). There was no such email nor was there a listing of the tickets on the "My Listings" section of the app.
I immediately called Ticketmaster to find out what happened to my tickets and was on the phone for at least 30 mins while they tried to sort things out. They finally told me I had to call their partner company, TicketsNow, because that is who handles the ticket resales. I called them the next day and was told that my case would be sent to their fraud department and that I would be contacted about it after Christmas. I was never contacted and called them again on Thursday, 12/27/18. I was told I could speak directly to the fraud dept but when I was transferred, a message said there was no such number and I was hung up on. Frustrated, I waited a day or two to call back then spoke to somebody again. This person said that they would transfer me to the fraud dept. I explained that the last time the connection did not go through.
They assured me that it would this time and also told me that they would speak directly to someone in the fraud dept and give them my contact info. Needless to say, the call didn't go through nor did I hear from the fraud dept. I called again on 12/31/18 and was finally told that I would get a call sometime on New Year's Day from the seller verification dept. I did get a call and they asked if I'd sold the tickets on a different site. I told them I hadn't. They said all they could do was refund me the cost of the original tickets. When I tried to explain that I had bought these tickets as a surprise for my gf and had planned a vacation around it, they had no sympathy and told me they were sorry but all they could do was give me a refund.
Now Ticketmaster has made a bunch of money from a crook who sold my tickets for way more than what I purchased them for. When I originally saw that the tickets had sold, I also checked Ticketmaster resale and saw my tickets listed for $614.00 each! In order for me to get tickets to the show, I'm going to have to pay almost the same amount as the floor seats to get lousy balcony seats. Ticketmaster/TicketsNow should void the original tickets or refund me the difference to purchase floor seats on their reseller site. As of today, 1/2/19, I have not received a refund. So much for a Christmas surprise... Thanks Ticketmaster, NOT!

I bought my fiancée tickets to Wicked at the Pantages Theater. It's all she had been wanting for Christmas. I was expecting two full tickets to the theater, what I got was four ripped pieces of paper and still not even a full ticket. BOTH of the tickets are ripped in pieces. Ticketmaster, I will never be using you again for tickets of any kind and I highly recommend you buy your tickets elsewhere. At least anywhere else you will get the full ticket. I need to figure out if I can even get in with the tickets that I have since I was never supplied with the full ticket. The dissatisfaction I felt when I opened the package was indescribable especially when you are spending over $300 on tickets. So, I highly suggest to whoever is considering using them - DO NOT DO IT.

Booked tickets from them 4 days ago. Never received any confirmation email. So I called them to find out why they did not send confirmation. Adviser said, "Will send it straight away", never received. Called again next day. Another adviser said, “We have no notes that you have called or whatsoever.” When I asked to send it over again I will be checking my email. She said she cannot stay on the line until I receive it and also asked, "Why you need that confirmation email if you have reference number." Like really??? Thiefs. Ripped me off. I purchased tix on presale and they gave my tickets "a unique name/Club PRODUCER seats." The next day they call those exact same tix (date, section and row), Standard seats and charge less than half price with no different benefits. They fraudulently misrepresented them and refuse to refund the difference as "non-refundable, all sales final." I get prices change, but they misrepresented them for more. Spoke with several persons and nothing. Total scam. I was told my tickets were better seats and that's the difference in name; but they're not. Same ticket available for less than 1/2 price.

Purchased front row tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Milwaukee, 12/30/2018. Got an email months later that our seats had been moved due to a "stage reconfiguration", and we were now in a worse section and in the third row. Emailed customer support, no one could provide a new map of the venue and Trans-Siberian Orchestra says nothing has changed stage wise. Now our ORIGINAL seats are back up for sale on Ticketmaster and we are stuck with crappy seats we did not want. Total scam, avoid at all costs. I'll be getting my money back.

I purchased 3 tickets from TM on 12-1 for Rolling Stones/Houston for $1245.15. They took $$2,576.95 from my PayPal/checking account. I have been on hold for a total of 30 minutes, transferred to 3 departments, the last one the fraud dept. I was told that was the transaction that took place and there was nothing they could do since it was purchased 7 days ago. I opened up a dispute case with PayPal, but I have a feeling this will not work out for me. Wow.

I purchased tickets to see Travis Scott for a Dallas show this past November. Once I realized I couldn’t attend show, I decided to use the Ticketmaster “Resale” option. Within 24 hours my tickets were sold! Awesome... except I’m still waiting for my $350 to be deposited into my account. After updating my payment options and speaking with multiple customer service reps and emailing back and forth non-stop... I still have yet to receive my payment for my sold tickets. It has been almost 6 weeks yet their website claims you will be reimbursed within 5-7 days. They keep telling me to be patient and wait for my micro deposits to verify the account info. I have done this multiple times to no avail! Total scam and horrible customer service! Never again will I buy or sell tickets through Ticketmaster!!

On top of excessive fees and shaky re-sale practices, Ticketmaster has yet another deceptive practice called Official Platinum tickets. This is their way of taking advantage of high demand through a demand-based pricing system. Be very aware, as you could end up paying much higher prices compared to other seats that are close to your seats. Unfortunately I got caught up in this when purchasing Rolling Stones tickets, and there is absolutely no protection or recourse!

I am an avid concert goer going to many concerts a year. Unfortunately there is a company that has managed to buy off enough politicians to maintain a monopoly on the ticket market and the only company you can buy tickets from for more than 3/4 of venues. Ticketmaster is a crooked company lined with crooked executives in which they have created a monopoly, overcharge in ticket fees, rig all their sales so that the great seats make it to their secondary market ticket site TicketsNow, and make your buying experience terrible.
Today just like the many other times, I went in to buy tickets for Brooks & Dunn in Allentown. I jumped in at 10:00 and got front row seats and when I went in to buy I got this error: So that you may continue to shop, we recommend using a different device (laptop, phone, tablet, etc.). Using a shared device. This is an error all too common for most people and just another way that Ticketmaster rigs their sales to make sure you don't get good seats. I run into this error quite often and am wondering when our government is going to get a clue and do their jobs and stop Ticketmaster from these illegal rigged ticket sales. Ticketmaster needs to be stopped as they rip off people every day and should be stopped from these crimes. Today I got nothing just like the many times I have tried for a show that TM runs. Have no problem getting good seats for shows that TM doesn't sell for. Coincidence?? Stop the crooks. Stop the Ticket**.

I went online to buy Dead and Co tickets for the Gorge in Washington State. I bought into the verified fan pre-sale. Almost all the seats in the general admission PIT section could only be purchased if you bought one of their expensive "packages" but after refreshing and entering my code, I was able to buy one GA Pit ticket. It cost me $175 which is crazy but got even worse when the total bill came to $207 because there was $32 dollars in fees! FEES of $32! I don't have another option for purchasing tickets to this show so I am stuck paying for the fees for each ticket I purchase! How is Ticketmaster NOT a monopoly? It's an absolute rip-off! Ticketmaster is horrible and should be investigated!

I bought 6 tickets for Oakland Raiders vs Pittsburgh Steelers in December for almost $400 a ticket. The tickets in my section are now $200 a ticket, they seriously dropped the prices in half. That would be almost a $1200 difference I am out because I decided to buy tickets earlier. It just seems like a total rip off how they can change the prices on events and leave you with the bill, when I called customer support they just said there isn't anything they can do about it not even an explanation.

Please don't purchase tickets from this place, go to the location and get them from there. I got some tickets for a event and it directed me to this crappy company to get my tickets. When I looked at the tickets it stated that buying 4 would be less so I did keep in mind that. It was done thru my phone so when it stated how much I was paying (without the breakdown) I paid with my card. I looked at the ticket and did the detail and it charged me an additional $16 for each ticket and also for the parking ticket which should of only been $15. That is what is charged at the event. SO DON'T DON'T USE THEM. DON'T GIVE THEM BUSINESS.

I purchased 4 tickets to the Twenty-One Pilots concert in Lincoln, NE for $290, about what you would expect. When I received my email today, it said I purchased ONE PLATINUM ticket for $290 plus $44 in fees. I contacted them immediately because there aren't even tickets that high for sale for this concert. I got some song and dance about how I bought my ticket when the demand was high... Like the first day MONTHS before Awolnation announced that they would be touring with them (which would make the demand higher). There is NO WAY! I selected BEST SEATS available and bought FOUR at the best seat price which was $72.50. Ticketmaster will not refund NOR let me exchange them.

Over time Ticketmaster has become worse. Try to get customer help and you go through voice automation hell only to eventually speak to a real person, who still cannot help. Of course that is after five minutes of reverification of the information that you already gave to the automated attendant. Customer call center sucks. At the fees that they surcharge for tickets they should be able to be efficient, experienced and helpful. I will only buy from them as a last resort.

Have used Ticketmaster many times. Have regretted it many times. Just ordered tickets for Seinfeld in Rochester for 4/19/18. I get that he is popular still, but after logging in to order tickets at exactly 10:00 am, it showed hardly any tickets left and the groupings left were in threes which, as we all know, you can't can't leave a single hanging there. I unfortunately couldn't leave work, so ordering online was my only option. My friend who was able to actually go to the box office, got much better tickets. Officially done with TM.

Recently bought 8 tickets to an event along with extra pit passes & parking. Went thru all screens & never once did anything show extra fees, just kept a running total in top right hand corner (which I trusted was the accurate amount... silly me). After clicking on "View Receipt" once my purchase was made I saw that an extra $120 had been added to my bill for additional fees. That makes my tickets 1.5 times more than planned! Called customer service to let them know it seemed a sneaky way to add in fees. I was forwarded to a manager who insisted they do have that screen (detailing the fees) & if I didn't see it it's probably because I'm using the wrong internet browser. Really? Every other page came up but that one?
I assured him I wouldn't be calling if I'd have seen & agreed to that screen showing me extra charges prior to my purchase, however, he proceeded to tell me I was wrong & there's nothing he'd do about it because it was my fault for not finding out what the fees were ahead of time & adding it up myself before I made the purchase to make sure the amount was right. In hindsight yes, I wish I would've dug further into it but I also trusted the amount Ticketmaster was showing was correct & that if there were extra fees they would show those prior to purchase (as most websites do such as hotels, clothing, etc.)
After this experience I will not be using Ticketmaster again & urge anyone considering using them to call the venue directly or find other avenues of purchasing your tickets! They have hidden fees, their customer service is horrible, & even though they have a satisfaction guarantee they won't refund most tickets once purchased or do anything to make it right!

So I bought tickets for Cher in MGM Park for the 8pm show on November 3rd. I was aware that the tickets were for 8pm but when we left the hotel around 7.40, the app was showing that the show was at 9PM. So we took our time and still made to the venue around 8.40 and got in close to 8.50. We had missed about half the show already. We flew to Vegas just to watch Cher and booked it months in advance. I get that, as a customer, I should do my own due diligence with the tickets that the show but why do you create an APP that shows the wrong time? (I have the screenshots, which the Ticketmaster customer representative did not even give me a chance to share them because 'apparently, in their system it's showing the right time.)
Shouldn't you create an app that is reliable and convenient for the customer? Is it our job to constantly check on other sources what time the show is? I've been buying all my tickets for games, concerts and stand up shows through Ticketmaster, but their non-accurate app, lack of incentive for their app's mistake and lack of after sales service, where I could share what was showing on my APP to help better themselves, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

TICKETMASTER RIPS EVERYBODY OFF. This has happened to me twice now, and was reported in September after an investigation. The first time it happens, I didn't understand it, but knew I had been ripped off. This time, not as badly. HATE TICKETMASTER. The pants ought to be sued off of them, and the system changed to be fair and to sell seats at their original price.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Block H Row 40 Seat 22 - Comfort — nil — view — large obstacle blocking main screen, main stage not completely visible. The screens are only an excuse of a facility. Your charges are outlandish in the hospitality department — total Rip-off. Never again. I won’t be back.

When buying tickets from Ticketmaster be very careful! You are probably buying insurance you did not want from Allianz Insurance. I bought tickets on-line and all went smoothly until half an hour later when I received an e-mail from Allianz Insurance thanking me for buying their insurance. I definitely was not asked if I wanted to buy their insurance. So probably some well hidden box was already ticked in the ticket purchase agreement with Ticketmaster.

I booked a ticket to a Broadway show on their website. I of course didn't double check anything before I entered my credit card details and clicked 'purchase.' I sent the details to my wife who spotted the issue straight away... I was pretty sure this would be a black spot in the marriage forever! I checked the Ticketmaster website for returns/changes to booking policy. The theatre was not a member of Ticketmaster's 'Fan Guarantee' program and there was no option at all to change one's booking.
As a last ditch effort, I called the customer service helpline. I could not have had a better service. I explained my problem (and admitted my mistake) and the customer service representative did everything possible to rectify my problem. It took 40 mins on the phone (while she had to look up the returns policy, speak to manager, unlock reserved seats etc) but the job was done. When I realized I'd made a mistake with Ticketmaster, my heart dropped as I had heard about their bad reputation. I thought I'd lost my money. However, this OUTSTANDING customer service experience has totally changed my opinion of the company. Thanks!

Do NOT buy tickets here. We Purchased Jeff Dunham tickets in Binghamton, NY. Paid a lot extra for 2 or the 4 seats. I bought to receive 1 premium reserved ticket, throw blanket, lithograph and squat plush doll. Needless to say did not receive and they claim I got a different package!!! I know what I got as the were for my nephew and daughter. PERIOD! I emailed and called and nothing. In the email they don't even tell you the kind of ticket you purchased. UNACCEPTABLE. I will never get tickets again, $365.55 kids seats off to the side of stage VS our seats $128.15 with better view than kids had right in front EXTRA paid for nothing.

We wanted tickets for MercyMe. When you go to the site it auto takes you to Ticketmaster. I realize the tickets will be higher than list. They were listed at $119 each. Click pay and suddenly $159. Called, emailed, etc immediately. Nothing can be done. All sales are final. Ticket price was $87 so paid about double. I am not upset about the higher price of $119 but adding another $40 at the tail end should be considered fraud. I wish all artists would band together and forbid use of ticket agencies. Let the fans see them without being frauded.

So I bought some Widespread Panic tickets for their upcoming shows in Las Vegas back in mid-June. I won't be able to make it so I went into my account to figure out how I can sell these "mobile tickets". Via their website, there are two options, resell via Ticketmaster or transfer to an outside company (StubHub for example). Well, for these tickets, neither option was available so I got in touch with Ticketmaster figuring something was wrong with the site.
I have now chatted with them twice and was told neither option is available for these tickets. I have no recourse to sell these tickets. I was actually told the only way I would be able to sell them is to give someone access to my Ticketmaster account and have them log in to pull the mobile tickets themselves. I was then hung up on...both times. All I can say is these guys are ripping people off left and right. The FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection needs to come down on these guys. Absolutely a terrible company.

I bought 2 tickets for my daughter and son-in-law as gift for Circuit of the Americas in October. Before the final order I was not given an option to review my order nor was I given the option to put in shipping address. After paying I was told that tickets will be mailed to the billing address. I called the customer service and told them that I need the package to be mailed to my daughter and not the billing address. I gave them the shipping address and was told the package will be shipped to the address I provided and not the billing address.
On Oct 9th I received an email notifying me that the tickets was on its way and shipped to the billing address (my address instead of my daughter's). I called the customer service again and talked to Andrea and she again told me that don't worry about the email since the package was sent to the address I had provided (my daughter's). However, I received the tickets like I feared and had to mail them to my daughter. I paid twice for shipping. First to Ticketmaster and then again to send them to my daughter. This even after calling them two times. Very disappointed in their poor service.

Literally everything about this company has let me down. They have now erased all the customer service in Ireland, which is illegal. they have numbers online which are not in service. I have a 150 euro voucher which Ticketmaster are saying was already 'used' - not by me. So my birthday present form my parents has apparently been used by Ticketmaster. so now I'm out-of-pocket 150 euro, missing my gig with no customer support, I literally feel as if I have been robbed 150 by Ticketmaster - well I have! not to mention all the disgusting and corrupt practices this company is constantly trying to pull off. Laws in Ireland literally had to be changed so this scumbag company would stop ripping-off its clients and its customers, for decades!!

I tried to buy tickets for a particular game, and accidentally selected the wrong date (same day and date, wrong month). I called within 10 minutes and they said there wasn't anything that could be done, except to "resell" the tickets. We have lost all our money (2K, because the tickets didn't sell, and Ticketmaster puts a minimum at which you can sell tickets). Needless to say, we can't attend the game we actually wanted to -- which was a wedding bachelor party. A terrible outcome, and really upset a lot of people. Heartless, ruthless, and greedy. DON'T buy from them -- ever!!!

I want to warn anyone who has an older cell phone not to do business with Ticketmaster when it is a question of getting the tickets on your mobile. In particular, if you have a Blackberry operating system of any kind, stay away from this company. Basically, they take your money, and then you find out that you have to have particular types of cell phone operating system to receive the tickets on the cell phone. And of course, they won't return your money. If there were reliable consumer laws in this area of commerce, these folks would be out of business. I won't do business with them again, and I am going to look for someone who actually says old fashioned hard copy tickets.

I had two tickets to Phil Collins, but can’t use them so I put them up for sale. After they were sold on September 30, I was given an email that said I would receive my money in 5-7 business days. Well after that time passed I received another email that I need to reset my bank information, why? I am not sure but they said my bank would not accept the deposit. I called my bank and they said no had tried to make any deposit electronic or otherwise to my account. And now because of their email to reset my bank account info I have to wait another 5-7 days?!
I now called them and spent over 2 hours on the phone with 3 people who did nothing but tell me my bank, Chase, does not know how to accept deposits? I said please just mail me my payment. They said, "We can’t do it" and now I had to reset my information yet again. Let’s see what happens yet again in 5-7 days. I was told nobody has issues but after finding this site I see I am not alone. Wish I had seen this before! They need to be held accountable for their actions.

I had a presale code for Elton John 10am today. I populated all the information as to how many tickets, etc and it threw me off my own laptop. Advised my to switch to my phone or another device. By the time I did that nothing available since we were already at 10:07. There is so much deceit. Wanted concert tickets. Only available online. Was directed to site instantly when tickets supposedly were available. Set parameters very quickly and then watched the blue spinning wheel for 10 minutes while the screen said: don’t refresh or navigate away or you’ll lose your place in line! When the wheel stopped spinning, it read “Nothing available”.
These guys sell to and encourage the ‘bot sales so individual buyers can’t get reasonably priced tickets! There’s no way that regular people could have bought up every ticket that fast. I opened 2 new windows and went to reseller sites immediately after I got the message, and there were all the tickets, for higher prices. I’ll never attempt to buy Ticketmaster tickets again! If everyone just walked away and didn’t attend the concerts, that would force these guys to treat people properly.

He got an email with the transfer but... when he tried to accept the tickets he got the information that the tickets have been accepted by different email address... so I sent a massage to customer support. I bought tickets to Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods concert back in February. I believe it was the day the tickets went on sale or perhaps American Express pre-sale. I paid $160 + fees, totally $371.13 for the 2 tickets. I thought the tickets would be hot, having just come off of his Super Bowl halftime show. Unfortunately, the tickets were not selling. There is still a lot of tickets available in Ticketmaster. To my surprise, they DROPPED THE PRICE TO $95 for the same tickets! My friend and I lost interest in going to the concert and decided to put the tickets on sale. We were willing to take some loss since Ticketmaster is selling them $65 cheaper. To our surprise, Ticketmaster would not allow us to list the tickets for less than $160.02. Is this legal? This is so unethical!

About a week ago, my best friend and I bought tickets to Adam Gontier's acoustic concert in Greece from "Public" stores. We went at Kyttaro, the place where the concert was to be held, about three hours before the event, to make sure that we would get front row seats, since we'd been dying to see this man perform live and it was his first time coming to our country. When the time to get inside came though, the people who were supposed to scan our tickets and see if they were real or fake couldn't do that because, apparently, Ticketmaster had forgotten to send Public the barcodes they were supposed to put on our tickets so that they could be scanned.
So we were waiting there for three hours to get a nice view of one of our favorite singers on stage and suddenly we're not allowed in and have to wait along with some others in the corner for our tickets to be verified. All this, while watching everyone else, even the people who arrived there last minute, get inside before us. Finally, they let us in since they understood it wasn't our fault and I still managed to get my friend through the crowd and get a seat at one of the corners in front of the stage. Concert was amazing (as expected), but this experience before the start of the event almost ruined it for us. If Ticketmaster is to collaborate with other companies and stores and allow them to sell their tickets, they should at least do it right or not do it at all.

Paid for a concert that I could not even attend & got charged for insurance that I did not ask for on top of that. Bought tickets for the Drake/Migos concert for what I thought was the September 1st concert (Saturday) knowing that I would not be able to attend a weekday event due to school & work. Not to mention, I purchased 2 tickets for my boyfriend and I!!! However, when I went to check for my tickets the night prior to the Saturday show it showed up as August 28th (Tuesday; past event)... I called Ticketmaster and asked them if they can refund my money because I would never intentionally have bought tickets for a weekday show knowing that I wouldn’t have been able to attend due to priorities. Ticketmaster proceeded to put in a lost form to see if my money would be refunded.
Later, that same day I asked if I could possibly get other seats for that same show & again, all they did was put in another lost form just for it to get denied... I was not offered any other seats (my tickets were for section 106 seats 11-12). Long story short, I was not offered a great amount of help with Ticketmaster's services, I did not get a refund for my $269.00, nor was offered any extra assistances or advice for getting other tickets for the same event. My money went to waste & I missed my first concert! I would not recommend Ticketmaster services as it became inconvenience & no help at all! It was a terrible experience with their service and return policy even after getting charged for insurance that did not help anything!!! I would not recommend this service for purchasing tickets!

We were given Ticketmaster gift cards totaling $150.00. We have tried to use them for sporting events including professional and college games. In every case using a gift card was not allowed, as they are only allowed for their chosen events. Which are hard to find and don't include anything popular. They blame it on partner companies and will not refund the money. This is after being on the phone with extremely poor customer service for more that 2 hours. Get the news out there to not use Ticketmaster and do not give Ticketmaster Gift Cards as gifts.

Their incompetence is beyond anything I have ever seen. The first two attempts were to an account that hasn't been linked to Ticketmaster in months. Each time I have been told to "update my payment info" but what they didn't bother to tell me is that by doing so I reset the 7 day clock. They are now telling me that I will finally be paid on 9/13... FIVE DAYS AFTER THE EVENT and just over a month since I sold the tickets. DO NOT USE.

I purchased tickets for the Women’s Final at the US OPEN. I selected the section I wanted. To my surprise, my receipt showed a completely different section. I immediately contacted customer service whereby no one was willing or able to rectify the situation. Ticketmaster is using deceptive bait-and-switch tactics to sell event tickets. They also fail to identify that these were resale tickets and hence are not refundable. Purchasing tickets should not be a game of luck and chance. Worst experience. I should not have to go to my banking institution to resolve unscrupulous practice. Will not use them ever. Issue for the FTC.

Today, I tried to buy tickets to a concert in Toronto, Canada. Only automatic attendant was available during working hours. She kept asking for the name of the event, the performer, the date - again and again - but could not understand or find anything. Also, I needed some information, but the voice refused to put me though to an agent, until she finds the event. Finally, the automatic attendant made three offers of seats - and hanged up. There were many other seats available, but I was not allowed to make my own choice. So I cannot buy the tickets, although I want to.

I purchased 2 tickets for OTRII Tour at FedEx Field. Almost $500.00. The seat map was very misleading. Where the stage was shown, it was actually not as far back as shown. When I purchased it did NOT say obstructed view. I buy tix for Beyonce all the time and the jumbo screen is a large part of the show. We were seated BEHIND the screen. We asked to be moved, spent too much time at customer service, thus missing some of the show, and was never accommodated. I emailed 3 times, called and it took a month before I was told my refund was denied. Pure greed for them to sell those seats when you could not see the show! And no disclaimer! Everyone around us was saying the same thing. Ticketmaster is a ripoff! Scam. I will never buy from them again.

I purchased Concert Tickets for Jack White in Phoenix. Unfortunately I have to travel out of town. No problem you think. I can just re-sell them via Ticketmaster. Wrong. I listed them and a few days later I noticed the list was gone. I reached out to Ticketmaster via chat. The agent saw the same thing. My tickets were not sold and were not listed. He told me to cancel my listing and re-post them. Well to my surprise I can't list my tickets or transfer them now as that option is not available.
I then contacted Ticketmaster via chat and the agent told me to wait 24 hours or list them on a 3rd party site. I told him this was a Ticketmaster system issue. He did not care and said to try sell them on a 3rd party site. At this point I want to just transfer them to someone. Can't do that either. So I say buyer beware. I think they hid my tickets for sale as they still had tickets available that they wanted to sell. I will never buy from Ticketmaster again. Very unethical company.

I like many, had vouchers given to me from the Schlesinger class action lawsuit. They had said they were valid until 6/2020. Well first off, I just learned that the Avenged Sevenfold show I used some vouchers for was canceled. They say I do not get the voucher returned. And that is because a supervisor at Ticketmaster has just told me they have met the requirements of the lawsuit completely. I assumed this went on until 2020 as I thought they were providing tickets to the public every summer. So not only are my remaining vouchers I have useless, but the canceled show they won’t even credit me anything even when the tickets have a $20 face value. What a joke.

I bought tickets for a Placido Domingo concert to be held on October 2017. The concert was canceled. I contacted Customer Service to request the refund of the tickets. Customer Service informed me that it will take several days before I can receive the refund on my bank. I realized that I didn’t receive the refund on my bank and contacted Customer Service to inquire about this refund. Initially they told me that the refund has been processed, that I needed to contact my bank to inquire about the refund. I contacted my bank and they could not find any deposit/refund coming from Ticketmaster. Their recommendation was that I should contact Ticketmaster and request a printed/official receipt (coming from the bank) with the Amount and Account used to perform the refund by Ticketmaster.
Since then, I have been trapped by Ticketmaster for not providing the printed/official receipt for the refund issued from the bank to Ticketmaster. I have called numerous times to Ticketmaster Customer Service and they have provided doubtful information citing different dates when they processed the refund. Ticketmaster provided me with a supposedly confirmation number although the bank has not been able to find the transaction/refund with that number.
There is doubtful information provided by Ticketmaster during my calls and emails that I have received that indicates that the refund may not have been processedI am very disappointed for the long time Ticketmaster has taken to process/confirm the refund and for the attention of the Ticketmaster Customer Service Representative who hanged up on me on a call. I would recommend NO to use Ticketmaster (as much as you can). In addition to issues like this, do you know that you can buy your tickets directly at the box office of the venue where the event is going to take place, and avoid all the expensive service fees that Ticketmaster charges? Depending on the price of the ticket and other aspects you can save up to $20.00 - $40.00 if you buy directly at the Venue ticket office.

I got a presale code to buy my tickets before they were available to the general public. I was under the impression that a presale means you get first dibs on the tickets and the best deals. I buy my tickets in the section I wanted but I'm closer to the top of the section instead of towards the front like I wanted. I accepted that fact because I thought all the front rows were sold out to other presale individuals.
Then, 10 hours later I decide to log on for the general public sale of the tickets and find out that all the front row seats are available for sale FOR THE SAME PRICE! I am pissed! I called Ticketmaster customer service and wait on hold for 30 minutes. They proceed to tell me that I can exchange my seats for other seats for a fee. That would have been perfectly fine EXCEPT all the good seats are now SOLD OUT because I had to wait on hold. I try to get them to do something like compensate me for the lies and deception of the PRESALE event. They say "sorry but the presale event is just so people can guarantee a seat before the general public." Do not fall for the PRESALE SCAM.

Well let’s see. I purchased my tickets. Get into venue. Everything looks good. We get through one of the bands and here comes a gentleman and his son stating that we are sitting in his seats. At this point we have security, managers looking at our tickets. After about 10min of them talking they inform us we have to go to the ticket booth. We get pulled away and taken away from the concert that we paid almost $400.00 dollars for. We missed about an hour of the concert having to deal with their mistake. They finally get it straight and we heard back to outlet seats.
I wanna say not even an hour goes by and a larger group comes by and states that they have to whole row and that we are sitting in their seats!!! At this moment I’m so upset and cannot enjoy the concert. We get pulled again only this time they don’t have a clue what is going on. I missed majority of my concert thanks to them reselling my tickets. Worst experience with them ever. I would never buy from them and will tell my family and friends not to purchase from them!

I bought some tickets and needed to either change the date or get a refund, they couldn’t help me at all. They told me I can resell on their partner site but still couldn’t seem to list my tickets. I tried asking for assistance in getting started and they told me exactly what the instructions told me to do in the FAQ section of their website, so long story short I’m stuck with tickets I can’t use and they offer ZERO help in any way. I will never use Ticketmaster again and I will be sure to never use any partner site they own either. Poor customer service equals no business from me.

On August 5, 2018 I logged on to the Ticketmaster website to look for a theater ticket for Hamilton in New York City. When I got to the day I was interested in August 23, 2018, I saw 2 Center Seats Available orchestra midway between front and back of the orchestra. I requested one and after providing all necessary information for purchase while waiting for the purchase confirmation, the computer froze. I relogged on to the website to now see that neither of those tickets were available but 4 others were available in row D Orchestra left for the same price and the seat would be between numbers 17 and 21, the specific seat assigned after purchase. I completed the purchase and received seat number 21. When I went to print the ticket it said “partial view.” I was in shock as there was no mention of partial view for seat numbers 17-21 when I purchased the ticket.
It took several attempts to reach customer service by telephone the next day. I told them that I did not want a seat with a partial view and would never have purchased it had I known. The 1 customer rep and 1 supervisor I spoke to refused to refund the ticket. I find it unscrupulous that they should sell a ticket without making the buyer aware that it was a partial view. Would I have spent over $700 for a partial view ticket? No, I wouldn’t. Beware of what you purchase on Ticketmaster. This horrifying experience makes me question their credibility.

I bought 2 tickets to see Foo Fighters in Toronto, Canada months in advance through what I thought was a trusted reliable website TICKETMASTER - Canadian version of. PAID $587 for ground level 8 rows from the stage in seats apparently. Figured it was a lot of money but this was going to be worth it. We didn't rush to get there because we had seats. We arrived and when we presented our tickets we were told that we did not have seats. The general admission area was full and we had a terrible location. If we'd known we didn't have seats we would have arrived much earlier to get closer. This seemed like a lot of money for just GA and found out that I could have purchased the tickets the same day as the show for $100s less than I paid months in advance.
I contacted ticketmaster.ca to complain afterwards and they told me that I had purchased verified fan tickets and that the fan sets the price. This was not clear/visible in any way when I bought the tickets. Also there were seat #s & row# on my tickets which is fraud. If Ticketmaster is allowing this on their site it's on them. I hope these reviews will do something. I feel like I'm wasting my time complaining. I wish the entertainers would do something about this because we lowly poor fans don't have the resources to take action like they do.

My mother in law bought four Panic! at the Disco concert tickets in Deluth, Georgia (3 hours away from where we live) for my niece and her friends. She bought the tickets, the money was taken out of her checking account and we printed the tickets as directed. They drive to the concert, and are refused at the window and told tickets were void. Had to buy tickets there! (AGAIN!)
Talked to Ticketmaster today and was told they cancelled the tickets (two days before the concert!) because there was a problem with seating and they tried to contact us. No email was sent, no call was placed. It will take 10 days for the money to be refunded. It’s absolutely ridiculous my mother in law (who is in her 50’s) had to deal with this from a reputable organization. They should be ashamed! I wish someone from corporate would contact me so I could let them know exactly what I think.

I participated in the Verified Fan Program, in which I watched hundreds of hours of video and bought merchandise, to earn a place in line for the concert in Atlanta Georgia. I have a copy of the webpage that stated that my place in line was good ONLY for the Atlanta location that I had been working for. Once I was given the time and link to purchase tickets in Atlanta, I went online and bought tickets immediately. They created a sense of urgency, so I quickly bought the tickets from the site that they had sent to me based on me working for tickets in Atlanta.
As soon as I checked out, I looked at the tickets and saw that they said Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on them. I immediately contacted Ticketmaster but there was no way to contact them by phone. Once I sent an email, I was told that someone would get back to me within 72 hours. After 72 hours, I was told that they were busy and would get back to me within a week. Once someone got back to me, I told them about the error with their website and asked to exchange the tickets for the correct city that I had been working for.
They said that this was an in demand concert and that they would not exchange them, even though the error was their fault. Ticketmaster said that I could list the tickets for sale on their site and I immediately listed them for sale. However about 2 months ago, I received an email from them stating that they had removed them from their site. They told me that I could list them on TicketsNow, which is affiliated with them. I listed them and have been attempting to lower the price so that I can at least get a few dollars for them, instead of losing the entire $900. However, Ticketmaster will not allow me to list these tickets for less than $161. They are holding me hostage and not even allowing me to resale tickets that I already paid for. Ticketmaster should be ashamed of themselves and we will never buy another ticket from them.

I don’t have a question. I have a complaint. When I bought my tickets my seats were supposed to be in the middle row, when I presented myself to the game I was in the last top row. Your website had a sketch of the stadium that was false information. Not only was the sitting a problem, but also when I purchased my tickets I had to pay for parking and when I got there my parking was in a golf course all the way to the back. It took me two hours to get out of the stadium after the game was over. I'm very unsatisfied with your service and your fees are ridiculous, I paid almost $300 and was scammed by your website according to the place where I was going to sit down.
At the event I met a few other people that bought tickets from your website with the same problem and even a lady who had tickets for row that didn't exists at the stadium row 88, the last row there is row 77 which was where I was sitting and according to your website my seats were supposed to be in the middle area. I will never buy tickets from your website again. Your prices are ridiculous. Other websites like StubHub were Selling tickets for a much more better price and the tickets were not a scam unlike yours. I will make sure to notify Google and other several websites about my experience, I will never recommend this website and will go ahead and file a complaint with my bank. Ticketmaster is horrible. I bought two Rod Stewart concert tickets a few months ago and had to cancel my plans a week before the event due to my friend's illness. Ticketmaster does not refund tickets... So okay. What they do allow, is to let you sell your tickets on their website... BUT, they only allow you to sell them for FACE VALUE. So, you have many other sites (StubHub for example) that are selling the same tickets for a MUCH LOWER PRICE, so now, you can't compete.
One day before the event I got an email from Ticketmaster stating "your tickets haven't sold, you might considering lowering the price..." Laughable! They won't let you lower the price! (I even chatted with a customer service rep from Ticketmaster who confirmed, no they don't allow price reductions!) Just two days before the event I listed my tickets on StubHub and was able to sell them, but Ticketmaster was useless for this. Bad business practice Ticketmaster! Never again!

I've been a fan of Twenty One Pilots for many years and when they announced their new tour I immediately opened the Ticketmaster website and watched the timer go shift from days to minutes. I was redirected to purchase the tickets because I received a pre-sale code and when I purchased my general admission tickets, Ticketmaster swapped them for seats on the top balcony in the stadium all the way in the back. After trying to contact them for over an hour, I was told there was "nothing they could do about it". I called the next day and they instead said that I had "two choices; to exchange the tickets the day the general on sale comes or get a refund on the tickets entirely".
The next day I called again and another person told me I was "required to purchase another ticket in addition to the order". I called again that same day and someone else told me that was "untrue and it's required to pay another $10 per ticket on top of the already over $300 purchase. Today I called them and they said "no refunds are provided and there is no exchange available". After yelling at the manager he barely agreed to cancel my order and told me I would get my money back in over a week. Never, ever, ever using Ticketmaster again. I can't see my idols perform because I don't have a lot of money and Ticketmaster messed up my order and almost left me with empty pockets and left me with no tickets to attend a concert that I have been waiting for since the past year. Please don't trust these people. Don't use their website. Don't use this platform unless you want to be manipulated and mistreated.

I paid over $1,000. for two VIP tickets for Skynyrd. Only because it was the farewell tour and I've been a fan since I was a teenager. We're suppose to receive the two tickets and they "fanbeat" was suppose to mail us memorabilia... to this date have not received it and probably never will. Then they send us an email stating "we're not allowed to ask for an autograph"... Um, what's the purpose of a meet & greet??? This company is such a scam artist and someone needs to start a class action lawsuit. Never again. I've learned that Ticketmaster has loopholes and the consumer gets screwed.

Purchased a ticket yesterday that was listed at $24.00. When I got the email with receipt, I noticed the total was $42.00. A total of $18.00 on hidden fees. Tried to find a way to contact them to cancel the order but when I emailed them, I got a message letting me know that they will contact me within three business days which is useless as the event is today. My advice, go directly to the event venue for tickets and STAY AWAY FROM TICKETMASTER. It’s a total RIPOFF.

I order one ticket for the Jay-Z and Beyonce OTR II tour when they open the second date for the Atlanta. On 06/27/18 I went on to Ticketmaster to see that they open a 2 new section Club Carter VIP and just a regular Club Carter. So I called in to upgrade my seats to the regular Club Carter. I spoke with a total of 6 people 5 being Ticketmaster reps. The first rep told me that I could only upgrade my ticket online, I knew that was wrong because online it says I would have to call in. So I ended the call and call back in and got another rep. I was on hold with her for 30 mins. She kept checking back in saying that she was trying to grab the tickets. The last time that she checked she told me that she couldn't get the ticket and she didn't understand why she couldn't get it for me and for me to call back later to see if the next rep can get it.
I called back in and the next rep said the same as the previous rep but she told me I would have to call Live Nation to do the upgrade or get a refund. She gave me the number and I called, turns out that she gave me the wrong dept number. So I got the correct and I spoke with the rep from Live Nation and she told me that she didn't understand what Ticketmaster told me to call. They are only handling the VIP section. She told me to call back and ask to speak to the supervisor and not let them transfer me to the VIP department because it's nothing they can do. I called back into Ticketmaster and spoke with a guy and he act as if he didn't care at all to what I was saying when I said that I would like a refund. He says I couldn't get one to just resale the ticket back on Ticketmaster.
I ask to speak to his supervisor and transfer me to him. Supervisor gets on the phone and I had to tell him everything over for the 6th time. Only for him to tell me he couldn't do it however he say if the rep told me that I could get a refund then they will have to give it back. He ask what rep said. I told him. I gave him a call back number and he said they will playback the call and they will give me a callback. I've never received a callback from anyone.

Dealing with Ticketmaster was a waste of time. Calling their "customer service" with an ticketing issue was useless. Their reps on the phone were totally unhelpful. They seemed to just want to end the call. There was clearly no interest in resolving ticketing issues. Their second level strategy seemed to be to put the call on lengthy holds. If you need event tickets, I recommend avoiding Ticketmaster if at all possible. If you can, buy at the box office or through StubHub or other online brokers; that's definitely the way to go. Be warned, with Ticketmaster, when there was an issue, they made it clear to me that they had no interest whatsoever in resolving it. Fortunately, there are no other ticket alternatives.

I bought tickets for a concert in Seattle... and sold 3 of them thru Ticketmaster thinking it would be the best way without getting ripped off. BIG MISTAKE. It has taken weeks... and about 6 DIFFERENT customer service people to figure out this problem. It was supposed to be as simple as entering your information to be credited... but none of them could figure out what the problem is. I even sent them two credit cards and a voided cheque to deposit the money. 7 people later, they decide they will just mail me a cheque. NEVER EVER again will I sell on Ticketmaster. As a veteran, I am a member of VetTix, an organization that offers free tickets for numerous events at various venues for a very minimal handling fee. Normally the tickets are available on a box office will call basis or a print at home basis. This past week I obtained tickets for an Arizona Diamondback baseball game. The offer was processed through Ticketmaster. I received an email from Ticketmaster that basically said that the tickets would only be available online, non-printable, by showing a barcode on your cell phone at the entrance gate. Last night we arrived at the ballpark, I opened the email and when I clicked on the "Claim your tickets" image the screen went blank. Panic! I attempted to call Ticketmaster and after struggling through their "automated" system finally got to the talk to an agent standpoint - and was told there was a 15 minute estimated wait time!
Now let me digress a minute to elaborate on the situation. I am an 82 year old Korean War veteran and had invited my niece and her boyfriend who were visiting us from out of state for the day, along with my daughter to the game. I consider myself fairly computer savvy but confess to having difficulty with my cell phone at times. My daughter took over at this time and managed to get an agent immediately. But the agent wanted the last four digits of the credit card that had been used and the phone number that had been used along with the order number. However, we had not used a credit card or phone number with Ticketmaster as our transaction had been with VetTix. The agent therefore could not help us.
We eventually met with a customer representative from the Arizona Diamondbacks who using the Ticketmaster order number, that we had, was able to print the tickets. She told us that Ticketmaster was attempting to go further paperless and yes, they were having problems with their new system. This is not widely divulged and is of no help to the people who have this problem, especially if you are not computer savvy.

Ticketmaster is the WORST!!! I have never had a problem ordering tickets before... until this week. I tried using the Pre-Offer code to get tickets one day in advance. I picked my ticket, submitted my payment method, declined the insurance... but could not make a payment for the ticket. The green box would never unlock. I called Ticketmaster three times and no one could understand what the issue was. So I figured I had to wait until 10 am the next day when tickets officially went on sale. I literally started looking for tickets at 10 am.
This time though, I couldn't even see the tickets. There was an error with the website. I called the actual venue the event was being held in. They wouldn't even accept tickets sales via phone. You had to come in person to the box office to purchase tickets. (I live 45 minutes away). I have been trying ALL DAY LONG to purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster with the same exact problem I had the day before. It is the most ridiculous experience I have been through. Not a fan of Ticketmaster... AT ALL!!!

First of all, I closed the window on the computer immediately when I walked back in the room, and it all shut before appearing to have processed anything at all - however, that is not the case, I have been charged and I’m disappointed. Unfortunately my info had been entered and saved previously for purchasing tickets and as I was looking up options for purchasing tickets (in the middle of the night which is often the only times we parents can get to such matters) to surprise one of my children for their birthday this summer - I had a child who had a bad dream get up in the night (not unusual if any of you are parents).
The child thought they were helping me by completing the order when I had gone in the other room and they heard me saying I was in the middle of something and had wanted to finish it. Isn’t it illegal for young children to buy such items, order things online, buy stuff with credit cards, etc. all I asked for was a simple uncomplicated refund. I called immediately and multiple times the next day after it happened, as well as emailing them and they are busy and cannot help.

We purchased Lion King tickets as a Christmas present. Our tickets were for a Sunday evening performance. This performance ended up being canceled because of "scheduling conflicts" and was replaced with a Thursday afternoon performance. We were NOT notified at the time this was done. We learned after the fact that this change was made in February for a May performance. If we had been notified at the time this happened, we would have had time to rearrange plans. Instead we were notified the day before the performance. Most people cannot attend a Thursday afternoon performance with a day's notice. And if we had overlooked the email for even 1 day, it would have been too late to do anything at all about it.
We ended up taking a refund. Rescheduling at that point involved an expensive change fee (which in my opinion should have been waived) and available tickets were too expensive, plus the impossible task of rearranging plans at the last minute especially when out of town travel was involved. We are very disappointed with this approach for handling canceled events. It is hard to understand why a company would think this is an acceptable customer service practice.

From the purchase process on the Ticketmaster site: "If you can't attend this event for any number of reasons like covered illness, airline delays, traffic accidents, if you are required to work, and more, you'll be reimbursed for this purchase." This is a complete fabrication and lie. If you are required to work, your claim will be rejected by the insurance company they use, Allianz - even in appeal. And the only thing Ticketmaster will do (over and over) - besides not answer their phone - is to apologize for the "misunderstanding" and recommend you call Allianz. I made the insurance purchase based on exactly what they say above and I am not out over $400 with no recourse other than this. Which I will do far and wide. Way to go Ticketmaster!

I bought event tickets for a music concert via Ticketmaster. Firstly, for an FV of $375 tickets their service charge is $85! So the total cost to me was $460. Second, I am checking the event line up a week before and the artist is not performing anymore. They refused a refund claiming 'line-up subject to change'. Good CYA and screw the customer line! If you change your part of the contract, why should I be held to pay a hefty amount for seeing people I am not interested in seeing? Absolutely unfair practice.

May 10th, one week before the show I added my credit card information and selected (2) tickets for Kenny Chesney. Website started to "Verify" then a message popped up "your tickets were purchased by someone else, RETRY". I attempted again in same section and same message, "your tickets were purchased by someone else, RETRY". I gave it one more try and the transaction went through. I received a confirmation email and all was good! NOT. I checked my credit card account 2 days later and all three transactions were on my statement! Twice, on two separate occasions, I have been charged by TICKETMASTER for initial online orders, without them initially producing tickets. When I have called them, both times, they admit that it's money pending against my account, and for me to get the tickets, I would need to do a re-purchase... so, I would get my tickets, BUT when I pay the second time, and then, after two-three weeks, the initial purchase money would eventually come back out of pending.
I don't have the money or the patience for this overcharging and poor business and fraudulent practices like this and don't know how TICKETMASTER gets away with it, considering all the regulations out there. With the money being placed in pending, and then, in ordering again, this company is putting the customer out of double the initial purchase price on the upfront expected cost and at their leisure, releasing the money back - why??? I am not sure what kind of game is being played here but I hope like hell you get caught, and I hope other people read this in my fair warning, you'll be out of double the money for a while, and I promise you I will never use your company, ever again.

I noticed on my bank account that there was a $1,164 charge from Ticketmaster. Which cleaned my bank account out of my Social Security check. I called the bank first and told me to call them. I called Ticketmaster. After waiting 10 minutes on the phone listening to deafening music I was connected with a real person. They told me it wasn't their department and they connected to me the resell department. Apparently anyone can sell tickets they ordered from them and don't want. The person on the phone said there are no refunds from that department. I told them I never ordered them in the first place.
He gave me all of my correct account information, name, where I lived, etc. Then said, "It is on your account and we can't do anything about it. Maybe you can resell them." WHAT? I want my money back... I did not order them! "Sorry It is on your account and we can't refund them." What a poor excuse for a company to do business! Apparently they don't even know who was reselling them on Their resell site. So, being a senior citizen and no money for a lawyer to fight it I won't be paying my bills at the end of this month.

Tried to use their site to purchase Platinum (resale) tickets and the site was broken, wouldn't complete the process. Tried to call and after 30 minutes finally was able to reach a person. Was told that I can't purchase those tickets on the phone, I'd have to use the site (which I explained did not work). I purchased Devils playoff tickets for 04/16/2018 game. I did not look at the tickets when they were delivered. Before I ordered the tickets I called everyone to see if they would be able to get off work because it was a Monday night game. We went to the game and they would not let us in because the tickets were printed with the wrong day and date. The tickets were printed with Monday 04/21/2018. 04/21/2018 is a Saturday not a Monday.
I then had to go into the box office, explain that Ticketmaster made the mistake and after almost an hour I was forced to have to purchase more tickets when the mistake was Ticketmaster's the whole time having security standing over my family and guests as if we were criminals. I have a DISABILITY!! And purchased these tickets so I could sit and enjoy the game and Ticketmaster refused to honor them and forced me to have to purchase more tickets and sit where we were forced to rather than where I would be more comfortable. Ticketmaster did refund my money for the first screwed up purchase.

I order my tickets well over a month ago and immediately got sent my tickets via e-mail. TicketMaster was also to send a parking pass for my concert via separate e-mail. It was never sent. I called and spoke to their support personnel at least 3 different times and each sent me to a different department. I was finally sent to the ticket resale dept., but was never able to speak to anyone there. I ask for a callback when someone got free, but never got called back. Now here it is the night before the concert and still no parking pass. TicketMaster appears to believe they can do whatever they want and they can still sell tickets. Though Ticketmaster is the only agent for some Broadway Shows, it is totally inept and not designed for those purchases. ON the phone, the automated system does not recognize the names of the shows that it sells. Online it gives no option to pick up tickets at box office. For Angels in America, with two parts it does not give any way to purchase both shows on Wednesday at once. Purchase one and take your chances with the second. And all this for outrageous "convenience" fees. If only they didn't have a monopoly.

The wait time was 15 min so they were to call me back. I never got a call and had to go thru the process all over again. Very very frustrating. Reba concert July 28/2018 - This was the first time purchase tickets from Ticketmaster. I needed 4 tickets. They wouldn’t sell me 4 tickets so I had to purchase 2. Had time. That was ok. The one ticket price was 435.00 the second one 500.00. Now the problem is they charge me US prices when it was to be Canadian prices. I assume now that this company is not honest. I've been using Ticketmaster for years now and this is the first year that I've had such a horrible encounter; not once, but twice, in a span of a week! I was trying to purchase 3 tickets for Jimmy Buffett and I know his concerts always sell out in a matter of minutes so time is always limited. I found a bunch but every time I clicked on it, it said no longer available. Each time, I had to change the number back from 2 to 3, which takes more time. I finally got 3 that worked, I checked the location and the seats were good, I clicked yes and it was processing. I was so excited that I got them, I told my mom. My aunt apparently got tickets as well so we were trying to see which ones were the best. When I went to look, it was completely different area than where I had clicked on. Then, when I clicked on the ticket itself, it said $54 each yet I paid $156 each! Apparently, it was a "fan to fan" purchase and I wasn't aware of it! These were nosebleed seats that I paid $156 for - ridiculous! I will never be able to sell these as no one else will buy them for that disgusting price!
If that isn't bad enough, I went to buy Camila Cabello tickets for my daughter as her and friends want to go. I went online and saw tickets for $87, though she thought they were only $40 or so. Whatever, it's my daughter so I bought it anyway. When I went to print the tickets out this morning, they were only $39 dollars!!! Are you freakin' kidding me??? I was very careful as I was burned last time and I was trying to look for anything that said "fan to fan" but I didn't see anything! I was doing it from my phone this time! Ordered Spring Training tickets online. Ticketmaster said I was to be able to download or print. I clicked on the e-mail to view tickets. Nothing there. Showed the order, but I could do nothing but transfer to someone else. The game was later that day and I was on hold and then transferred. After 40 minutes they could not help me. I just wanted to purchase tickets to my friend's play at the Broadway Playhouse. The theater's website linked to Ticketmaster--the only way to purchase these tickets online. I confirmed that I wanted eTickets (no shipping costs) and that the total price was $81. I got to the page where I entered credit card info and saw that the price on the right--with no explanation at all--had increased to $124.85. I looked everywhere on the page for an explanation and couldn't find any except that there was an insurance option at the bottom that would cost $7.99 per ticket; with fees, I thought this explained the new price. But I opted out of the insurance option and clicked forward--and the price was still $124.85!
It took me a while to find the source of the fees, and I found in a printable "receipt" on my account page that they had charged a $9.00 "Facility Charge," a $4.55 "Order Processing Fee," and a $30 "Service Fee." In total, the fees were 53.77% of the ticket price, which is outrageous--especially because they clearly went to great lengths to hide the fees and trick people into making a purchase thinking that the real price would drop after they opted out of insurance.

First the app would not let me select the seats I wanted as it left one seat empty even though this was greyed out and restricted view. Then I get an email saying I purchased Allianz insurance and I most certainly did not. Finally spent 15 minutes on phone waiting for a machine asking me what I wanted. I could tell you what I wanted to do but instead I have come to warn everyone about this scam. I probably spent more on hold than the £8 charged for the fake insurance.

I find it absurd that Ticketmaster is allowed to advertise ticket prices that are, in fact, NOT reflective of the actual cost. Various fees (which are vague and refer to basically nothing) make the actual cost anywhere from 15% or more than the advertised price (exclusive of any gov't taxes). This is blatantly fraudulent, and I have no idea how it is allowed to continue. Further, it is abhorrent that the company is allowed to re-sell tickets through its own partner company (IES). How can a retailer sell an item to itself and then charge significantly more for the same item ON ITS OWN WEBSITE?? Everything about this company sucks. It is tragic that more artists do not insist on independent ticket sales. I hate Ticketmaster with an undying passion.

I bought expensive tickets to the Shania Twain Concert that were next to the stage that was created like a catwalk. However, I just found out that my 2 seats are now not next to the stage because they added more seats and took out the catwalk. Ticketmaster refuses to reimburse me for my tickets. I only bought them because I wanted to be next to the stage. I am not made of money and I saved to take my daughter to this concert. It doesn’t surprise me though. Curious if anyone has had this experience: A good show comes to town that everyone is excited to see, big buzz, fanfare, etc. You go buy your tickets online, 3-4 months in advance at Ticketmaster, and only the absolutely most expensive tickets show up, so you buy them. $122 each including fees. Bought 4, then you find out the night before said show, Ticketmaster is dumping tons of remaining tickets for only $39!! NONE of these tickets even showed up when you first purchased. You try to exchange, or "buy down" only to be told they will not issue refunds, or credit!

I'll try to make this short and abbreviated. I have $100 worth in Ticketmaster gift cards. I tried to use them for a show at Red Rocks in Colorado. I selected the tickets I wanted, but when I went to cash out, it would not let me use the Ticketmaster Gift Cards that I had. So I thought certainly this had to be a mistake, so I tried again. Next time I tried the tickets I selected were gone and I had to select another group of tickets that were 10 dollars more than the previous ones and, same thing happened, I could not apply the gift cards. So yes, I tried one more time, and again I had to pick more expensive tickets.
At this point I should have stopped, but instead I mistakenly thought, crap these tickets are selling out fast. This time I bought the tickets with regular money, thinking I would contact them later and just try to get the gift cards applied. Immediately after buying them, I called them to tell them what happened. At this point I still thought it was an error, as WHY wouldn't I be able to use Ticketmaster's own gift cards on Ticketmaster's own website??? Well, it turns out I was buying "someone" else's tickets, which they did not make clear at all. That being the case, they would not let me use their own gift cards for this transaction. Which make absolutely zero sense as I was paying ** themselves with their own cards that are to be treated like cash.
It gets way worse. Turns out the show I bought tickets for had plenty of tickets left and if I would have just gone through the box office itself instead of **, my tickets through ** that cost me $419.00 I could have gotten and still could get for around $200. So, I COULD NOT use my $100 in ** gift cards, and I was spending $200 MORE than I should have if I would have not used **. I found this all out only 10 minutes after my transaction was completed. So I called them back to cancel my order and get a refund, as my order was only 10 minutes old, the concert wasn't for 4 months, and I did not have any tickets. The only thing that happened at this point was I gave them $419 for tickets I still don't have. So they refused to refund my money. Was stuck with 4 tickets that cost me $200 more then what I can get them for today.
Do you think it ends there? Nope it gets worse. So here I am with a $100 in ** gift cards that I still need to use. I looked up 8 different events through **, and in all 8 cases I cannot use my $100 in gift cards for a single one of them. So I call them again (this was today) and I demanded to know do I really have $100 in gift cards that I cannot use? The simpleton manager told me I could use them, I said "really, for what?" I tried 8 different events and I couldn't use them for any of them. He insisted I could, so I said, "For what again?" He just changed the topic, still insisting I could use them for something. Great right? That would make everyone feel good right?
Basically I got ripped off $200 and, I still have a $100 in gift cards I cannot use!! So with this knowledge I just sold my gift cards to Cardpool.com for $12 less than their value bought value. ** has been ripping people off for years. I'm 40 years old and been buying tickets since I was 16, and they always have elaborate fees intended to screw over the consumer. One of them was called the convenience fee, hilarious.
Last part. The last event I looked up was for my children, Disney on Ice here in Colorado Springs. This event had 7 different show times. Still, ** only sold "other people's" tickets and they had hundreds of them. I called the Box office and found out not one of the shows was sold out. This leads me to a very solid conclusion. ** buys a bunch of tickets and then sells them as if they are someone else's tickets. There are not 100s of people that bought Disney on Ice tickets that did not plan on going, and just wanted to resell them. This is not the case, I don't believe it. ** buys a bunch of tickets and sells them for way more than you could get them for at the box office itself. NEVER NEVER NEVER, buy tickets through Ticketmaster. They is no longer a possibly of them ripping people off, they are officially and without question jackin' people for their hard earned money and are extremely anti-consumer.

After contacting Ticketmaster in the correct time frame it took them 3 days to respond and told me I was outside of the exchange or refund period and that I wasn’t eligible for a refund. 165.00 out. My dad wasn’t able to download the app. I tried to reach them. Horrible customer service. He had to purchase tickets there so charged twice. That’s insane.

Buyer BEWARE - watch for the "type" of ticket you are buying from Ticketmaster. I just found out that Ticketmaster allows people to resell tickets on the Ticketmaster website, AND they allow these folks to "name their price" AND THEN they promote said tickets as "verified resale" to make people think they are good tickets. What a scam! I understand that sometimes honest people cannot attend the concert they legitimately bought tickets for. These people have no choice but to resell their ticket or give them to friends. Since Ticketmaster does not give refunds, it would be fair for Ticketmaster to allow people to resell tickets for events they can no longer attend - but ONLY for the price shown on the ticket, (plus a the service charge). They should NOT allow people to jack up the price to whatever they want.
By allowing the customer to name their price, Ticketmaster is encouraging scalpers, and making it easy for these scumbags to prey on unsuspecting ticket buyers. Scalpers no longer have to stand in dark alleys trying to scalp tickets, they just let Ticketmaster do their dirty work. Ticketmaster - you should be ashamed! It is no wonder that concert tickets sell out so fast when there is such easy profit to be made with Ticketmaster helping you scalp the tickets. Be cautious when you buy tickets from Ticketmaster, you may not be getting the best deal. I paid 93.00 (plus service charge) for my tickets, then the week before the event Ticketmaster is selling the exact same tickets for $40. When I called customer service they said that there was nothing they could do. Turns out I bought "resold" tickets.
When I purchased them, I was only shown one price and was not given any other options. My ticket clearly shows the Ticketmaster logo, and my credit card showed the purchase from Ticketmaster, yet I was told that my tickets were from a private seller, and that seller was allowed to ask whatever price they wanted. I got ripped off and Ticketmaster really does not care. I am certain they got a cut of the profit, they call it a service charge; but it is really profit from scalping. The whole scalping issue is wrong and should be illegal, but until laws are put in place; major players like Ticketmaster should not be openly encouraging the process as it makes the issue so much worse. I would rather not use Ticketmaster ever again, but the sad fact is that most events use this site to sell their tickets. So, I will just have to be very careful the next time I order tickets to anything.

I just cannot believe that the fees need to be as high as they are. The last purchase a friend made increased from ~$148 to ~$196, which is a 32% increase in price. It just seems entirely unreasonable. It is worth noting that this did not involve receiving a physical ticket. It would have cost more to receive an actual ticket. I made a purchase myself not too long ago as well. I ran the numbers and it was a 24.5% increase in the price based on fees. (275.20 > 342.70).

They advertise the event at $99 dollars. I bought one ticket. A week later they changed the price of the seats for $55. I called and ask for a refund (two month before the event). They told me to sell it online. The website doesn't let me. I called again, they told me they will call the venue and I am receiving an email in two days. I never got the email. I called again, manager refuses to go on the phone. They will not give me my money back. BE AWARE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR $.

I bought two very expensive tickets the minute they went on sale. Right after I got them, I realized the date and time I got them for was wrong. I totally know that was my fault, however, I caught it right after I bought them, the concert wasn't for almost 2 months out, so, didn't think it was a big deal. I was so wrong. They said there was no refund, and even the "Sale" button was greyed out. I called them, they said there was nothing they could do for me. To read the fine print. I argued with them, but to no avail. So, I am stuck with a pair of tickets, I will probably post on Craigslist or something. But, I am here to tell you. Never buy from these jerks. I went on their website and purchased tickets for a Broadway show and I selected my date 3 times before it decided to go to the next screen. Then I picked my seats and paid the price but then they told me I wasn't paying attention because the tickets I purchased was for the same day. I went to see the show on the day I selected and I was told the tickets I purchased was for the week before. In fact the same day when I told them, "I didn't select that date and it must be your website" I was told they haven't heard about any problems with their website. Even if they didn't they wouldn't have said so because it's a big franchise and refuses to take any blame. I am highly disappointed and will be buying my tickets elsewhere from now on. Ruined a birthday and dinner plans for family and friends.

Several issues with purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster. Purchased presale tix to a concert. Show sold out quickly. Then a week before the show, more tickets went on sale cheaper and better seats than I purchased. Tried to purchase two row 6 seats for another show. Wouldn’t allow me because it would leave one empty seat in that row. Yet in many other places there were single seats available- meaning other people had purchased seats leaving a single seat for sale. I tried to leave a review on their site, wouldn’t allow me to submit. Emailed them about the ticket issue with no response. So shady.

How can I possibly have 3 computers ready to go and refreshing the countdown to Celine Dion AMEX Pre-sale tickets to then have them all sold out immediately they come on sale??? Even the most expensive tickets are supposedly gone??? For AMEX to advertise this as a benefit of having their card is disgusting as the same thing happened with the Pink Concert.

Bought tix for Dancing with the Stars in Rosemont. Bought one ticket online, was bounced from website before I could buy a second. Site wouldn't let me back in so had to buy by phone. Tix couldn't be accessed until day before the event. Phone ticket was emailed to me as pdf. Site wouldn't allow me to print the other, online purchased ticket. I have spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone trying to get it rectified - ultimately I have to pick the ticket up at Will Call (I am concerned they will have screwed this up - hopefully not). I have previously, during this process, tried calling customer service - I've never been able to talk with a person.
I have asked for some sort of compensation for this really, horrid, horrid service and they've offered me a refund of the service charges and a $10 GC towards future service charges - ridiculous. I asked them to simply refund the price of the tickets so I can buy more reliably on StubHub and they've refused. Terrible systems, bad policies, understaffed, and underqualified people. Absolutely worst service I've ever had, doing just about anything, Not first bad experience with TM. They just agreed to refund me completely - bought better, cheaper tix on StubHub.

Ticketmaster has completely taken over on ticket sales. I was registered successfully for the verified fan pre-sale for Elton John but then was on the waiting list for an actual invitation to buy tickets. The day that the actual tickets went on sale to the General Public, I tried to get tickets in multiple cities across the United States and could not find any at a decent price. I really wanted to see him at Madison Square Garden or in Boston but no tickets were available except at outrageous prices.
Next, I tried the next hour to get tickets in New Orleans, San Antonio or Dallas but it was the same story. The next hour, I tried to get tickets in Los Angeles, Oakland and San Jose and you guessed it, no tickets. Because of the time difference across the United States, I was on my computer for more than 3 hours this morning in order to be on the Ticketmaster site right when the tickets opened for each venue, taking into consideration the time difference between Eastern, Central and Pacific times.
Having no luck getting decently priced tickets, I finally bought two tickets from a verified reseller on the Ticketmaster site and paid $799 for the two tickets. Even though it's more than I would have ever thought about paying to see any artist, it actually seemed like a bargain because most of the tickets being resold were for thousands of dollars! This was immediately after the tickets began selling to the general public in each venue. It would absolutely seem to me that Ticketmaster is doing something very shady. Their fee for arranging the transaction between the reseller and myself was about $140. Why would they be invested at all in helping me get presale tickets or tickets at the normal, face value price? Does anyone think that we have a lawsuit that we could do class action against Ticketmaster? I'm not an attorney but this seems like monopoly to me.

When I heard that Elton John was coming I immediately tried to get tickets. I was instructed at the Ticketmaster site to preregister in order to get tickets at the presale date. I registered, got my email the day of the presale and tried to buy my tickets. All I kept getting from 10:05 AM on was a message no tickets available. So I called the customer service rep and after waiting 30 minutes I was told by the rep if I wasn’t logged in at 10:00 I wouldn’t get them as they sold out in minutes. During the preregistration it was stated the reason for the preregistration was that Elton John wanted to ensure everyone got a chance to buy the tickets and preregistration would make sure of that. That is a load of crap! They ran out of tickets in minutes!

Ticketmaster totally SCREWED me! I sign up for the presale codes and verified fans for EVERY concert I want to go to. I have spent ENOUGH money on tickets through Ticketmaster and contributed to enough of their BS fees, yet, they totally ROBBED me of the tickets I secured in my cart, and immediately made them unavailable + jacked up the price. I had 4x Elton John lower level presale tickets for $121.50 and the site errored. Then I could only get upper level tickets for $47.50. I had 4x in my cart and the site would not accept my CORRECT payment info OVER AND OVER again, then said I 'had too many tickets' even though the verified fans were allowed 4 - so it just kicked me out and I lost my tickets. Ticketmaster is a RIP-OFF, ROBBERY, A GIMMICK, HORRIBLE TO FANS. And now they're trying to charge me $270 for the same tickets I had in my cart for $121.50 that they stole from me. THIEVES!!!!

Ticketmaster e-mailed me back after my review post on Consumer Affairs and after I complained a couple more times. They ended up mailing my tickets to me, however, I had to e-mail them back because my mailing address had changed. I did receive the tickets at my current mailing address. I don't know why this was such a process to get done, but in the end I did get closure. I give this experience two stars because it should not have been this difficult.

Purchased over $200 in tickets for a concert in Madison, WI and chose "Will Call" as my ticket delivery option. Since then, I had something come up at work that may delay me getting to the concert on time on 6 March 2018. I've contacted Ticketmaster twice online (can't reach them via phone) to request that they change my ticket delivery method to mailing the tickets to me instead. I would gladly pay the delivery fee. Both times the agents I spoke with told me they could not do that. I then asked to escalate my situation to someone above them and both times I was told that they would do that and I would receive a phone call back within an hour. It's been over a week now with no callback. Needless to say I will not give any future business to Ticketmaster based on this awful experience.

Any concert I try to get tickets for these days costs a million dollars. Ticketmaster has presales (mostly with American Express cardholders) and sells most of the tickets. Then those customers resell the tickets for outrageous prices. Once the sale opens to the public all that is left is extremely expensive tickets, whether through Ticketmaster or resellers. It's unbelievable. Never have I had such a hard time getting tickets. I refuse to buy tickets that are so overpriced. Ticketmaster needs to get it together and make it fair for everyone but as long as they make their millions of dollars they don't really care. I wish something could be done about them. They basically have a monopoly on concert tickets.

I have never had a more awful experience with any purchase in my entire life. I purchased Taylor Swift (presale) tickets through their app as a verified fan. I had great tix in my account before the app crashed and told me my order could not be processed and tickets had been canceled. Therefore, I went through it all again. 3-5 days later I had one order in my account, but two separate orders taken out of my bank. Customer service was AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL until I finally spoke with Aaron ** after an hour of arguing with the previous guy, who then refunded the order since it was their fault.
They claimed they couldn't tell from their end that there was an issue with the app during my purchase. DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU THEY CAN'T REFUND YOU! I've worked in ticket industry and know how it works. That still didn't fix my overdraft charges my bank charged me. Aaron was so kind on the phone, and told me he would help get me the information I needed to fix the overdraft charges. I've tried contacting him and he has ignored my emails ever since. If I knew I was going to lose over $100 because of this right before Christmas time (or anytime), I would've never ordered through Ticketmaster and never will again. I'm just thankful it's only $100 I lost because it was almost over $300 total if it was up to the first guy I spoke with. They don't care about you as a person. Just a typical, money-hungry company.

It is way too hard to buy wheelchair accessible seats. If you try to do it online, the site inevitably tells you that you will leave seats orphaned in a row so you can't have them. So you call the ticket line. I have tried that on Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday. It is too busy so no one answers. Instead of on a person on the phone, you can get the automated ticket line. There, after about 10 questions, it finally asks if you need accessible tickets. If you answer yes, it tells you to press 9. I press 9, 99999, 9# and nothing happens. It has NEVER worked any of the times I have tried. I finally called their customer support phone and was able to get tickets. But there needs to be a better routine way to get wheelchair plus companion seating through Ticketmaster.

I went on TICKETMASTER website to purchase Dancing With The Stars tickets for my mom for Christmas. I was very confused as to what were 1st run tickets and resale tickets, which the site is very vague about. I finally bought tix and they sent me the printable version of tix. I wanted some confirmation since they were listed as seats 39 & 41. The lady was trying to make me feel stupid because I didn't know that 39 & 41 were together, even tho she had pulled up seats 1 & 2 on her end. SMH. Either way, I felt comfortable moving closer to the date. That all would be good.
Get a call from my mom the night of the show and she wasn't able to get in. Her and her friend are standing out in 18 temps so I called Ticketmaster to address the situation. They told me the tickets weren't sold thru them and I should contact the reseller. I explained the confirmation email AND printable tickets were sent to me by TICKETMASTER, not a reseller. She puts me on hold forever, and comes back with telling me to call a number and ticketmaster is not in any way responsible. When I told her I thought this was **, she took it personally and starts lecturing me about my vocabulary, which I felt I perfectly described the situation. Well needless to say, I lost it! I reminded her my 75 year old mom was standing out in the cold over their incompetence and asked how she would feel if it were HER mom. Crickets... That's what I thought.
So then I called the reseller who had me on hold for 15 minutes and I hung up. I had earlier sent my mom the tickets on her friend's phone and they worked it out with the venue even tho they still weren't scanning. This is ridiculous how you charge enormous service fees but don't take responsibility after the sale. Let me say that SERVICE includes sale and everything including getting into the event. They show no customer service whatsoever, and btw, training your reps to say "sir I do apologize" sounds very condescending and non-caring when it's not backed up with a true solution. I'll never buy a gift for someone from TAKE IT MASTER again. Too embarrassing. They should be completely ashamed but they aren't I assure you. They're only about their money and could care less about the customer. If I could give a negative rating I would!

I tried to inquire about the Bulls game for Family Day games through my phone for 6 tickets. I selected the tickets and was waiting to enter the "family" promo code to get the $25 price per ticket. After I entered my card info I was under the impression that I would see the breakdown of the ticket prices and the field to enter the promo code before the order would go through and saw nothing. The following page was a "thank you for your purchase" and was charged $60 dollar per ticket. Because I'm an idiot I used my check card and now I'm out 400 dollars from my checking account. I called Ticketmaster right away and they were closed. I called the very next day and spoke with Anna and explained to them that I was only inquiring about tickets to see what it would cost at $25 per ticket with parking and fees etc. and that these tickets were purchased accidentally and was told that there was nothing they could do, and I had an option to sell them.
I told them no one would buy these tickets at the price I paid for because they are $25. I called them back again and spoke with Liz and she said that she would contact the venue to see if they would approve a refund and they would give me a call to let me know and a few hours later I received an email stating that the refund was not authorized by the client was the email I received from Arturo from Ticketmaster fan support. Purchasing ticket through the phone is very deceptive as it doesn't give you the breakdown of all the charges before submitting. The insurance cost didn't appear until after I received an email of all the charges. I will never buy anything from these crooks at Ticketmaster.

12/17/17, Janet Jackson concert at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA. The seats that I paid for were "supposedly" unavailable due to recent renovations to the venue. We were re-seated to TERRIBLE seats that were NOWHERE NEAR the location or QUALITY of seats that I paid for. I selected/paid for seats in Section 306 (upper level, just left of centered-stage). After standing in a looooooong line waiting with 50+ other annoyed, confused, and inconvenienced concert-goers AND dealing with the RUDE ushers at the "re-seating" table we were finally reassigned seats--just minutes before that concert started--that were HIGHER UP and to the left of the stage. We were given seats that were a lesser value than what I paid. Ticketmaster should be aware of any renovations done to the venues where they sell tickets AND update their website accordingly. It is unethical to sell tickets for more than $100 each BUT reassign people to seats valued around $45-55.

I received an email directly from Ticketmaster stating my tickets to an event were sold. I immediately called them to state I didn't want these tickets sold. After 2 hours of dealing with different people giving me different answers, I ended up speaking with a supervisor from the fraud department. I was told that since I was being paid for these tickets, it wasn't fraud. I told them I never listed them. I was told I had made a mistake. The tickets were well undervalued for what they sold for. The tickets were listed at midnight on a Wednesday my time, and they could not provide the IP address they were listed from. Ticketmaster has no incentive to help me with this. In fact, they have an economic drive to not help me with this, since they make money on the sale.
I have seen multiple people claim the same thing online. How has a class action lawsuit not been filed over these types of occurrences? Seems like an easy way for people to commit fraud, without it looking like fraud and Ticketmaster has no economic drive to prevent, since they would actually lose money preventing it. (Loss of their fee on the resale.)

I wanted the best seats at House of Blues - Chicago for a show in Feb 2018. Live Nation (Ticketmaster) is the controller of tickets. The scam is crooks buy tickets then post them on the same website as resale. The tickets are advertised as better or reserved seating when in fact they are standard general admission tickets set at a gouging price. The Live Nation has a price scroll bar so if you slide to the highest price (better tickets) all you are doing is filtering out the standard price tickets and getting nothing but ripped off. Ticketmaster response to a refund is "no refund" you agreed to terms when you purchased. The website is incredibly deceiving to a first time user. How about a warning (you can purchase these same level tickets for less). Na then the crooks would not have any advantage. Oh and Ticketmaster already has gotten to the Credit Card companies - no disputing their charges. Unbelievable!!

How could they possibly be linked to a new purchase I dont know but Mona and Zack in customer service did nothing to rectify leaving me with 2 purchases of 2 tickets for the Nutcracker for $140 at a community center. I recently purchased a ticket to a concert. Since I only had to buy one ticket for myself for this particular show, I decided I'd splurge and get the best seats I could. I had the code for the pre-sale and was online at 10:00 when the sale began. I selected the $175.00 "Platinum" tickets again, because I wanted to get the best possible seat.
Considering the price was more than double the regular ticket price and the option was labeled as "Platinum tickets", it is absolutely reasonable to expect either, significantly better quality seats than those available at the regular ticket price OR some other additional benefits/amenities. However, what the customer gets for paying more than double is nothing. After completing my purchase, I got in touch with a friend to tell him the section and seat I got for the $175 "Platinum" ticket I purchased and ask where his seats were.
He informed me then that I had just been scammed if my tickets do not include any extras and then proceeded to get back online and was able to pull up a ticket for a seat in the same section and only one row behind the row my seat was in for $65. So I was charged a $110 premium for a seat that's only one row better than a regular priced ticket. Of course, the fact that there's a timer running that limits the amount of time you have to complete your purchase and there is no way to compare the seats that are available in the different categories/price ranges without going back and losing your place in the "queue", makes it impossible to see exactly what your options are without the risk of being dropped back to the end of the line.
The response I received from Ticketmaster's "Platinum Ticket" fan support reps was as follows... "Official Platinum Seats are some of the best seats in the house, set aside for fans by artists and event providers. Official Platinum Seats offer safe and equitable access to up-close event experiences, however they don't include additional amenities like merch or VIP perks. Official Platinum Seats are only available online."
So, basically they blame the artists and promoters for the ticket prices and if their explanation that "Platinum" seats offer is correct, that they "offer safe and equitable access" to events, does that mean that customers who do not pay a surcharge of more than double the regular ticket price do NOT get safe and equitable access to the events they're selling tickets for? I fell for the Ticketmaster/Live Nation "Premium" ticket scam this time but it will never happen again and will do as much as possible to inform others of this fraud being committed.

I TOLD the agents that the card I used for the purchase was a one time use disposable card that I DEACTIVATED right after the purchase and that refunding the money to that card will be useless. I told the rep it needs to go to a valid credit card of mine, I gave her the info and she said, "Ok it's taken care of, refund will go to the card you provided me with." It DIDN'T and now I lost my money because they refunded the money to an INACTIVE disposable one time use card. Called Ticketmaster and they didn't give a damn to fix this. All they said is, "Sorry nothing I can do." Wow what customer service. If they don't fix this and refund back to the VALID ACTIVE card I have as opposed to the one I TOLD them was DEACTIVATED and ONE TIME USE, I will be reporting them to BBB. Their choice. Let's see if they make this right or don't care.

I have tickets in my online account but because I refuse to put the Ticketmaster app on my phone they won't give me access to the tickets. Told I have no choice. Must download the app to get the tickets. So now I have one of the worst companies in America app on my phone. Then the online account did not sync with the app locking me out of my account.

So disorganized. I was trying to buy tickets for Taylor Swift and it kept on trying to load verifying my tickets, for I’d say 30 minutes. Then the page went completely white and blank. At this point I was having a full blown panic attack while my dad was trying to get on the phone with Ticketmaster customer support, and for 30 minutes he was on the phone being transferred to the next agent. Then my dad refreshed the page and I had to enter the presale code in again, and it wouldn’t let me in, since it thought I already used the code to buy tickets, which I didn’t.
I had a severe panic attack and was throwing a fit and was going insane for an hour and a half until my sister finally somehow bought tickets, much farther back than the original ones I was trying to buy. I am very very unsatisfied based on this experience, they need to get more people to help on the phone and for people’s access code to not be considered as used until an actual purchase is made. This whole situation also could’ve been avoided if I just received a message that my tickets had been bought and was able to select new ones. I was expecting a more organized purchase so I could actually be excited for the concert instead of being angered at the horrible experience.

My granddaughter paid $170 to see Evanescence in St. Louis, MO on December 3rd. The price was to include coasters, and a pre-show experience where she could watch the band rehearse. She was told to be at the Peabody Opera House 2 hours early to watch. She arrived in time, and along with about 100 others, was told that there had been some "mistake" and that the pre-show experience was NOT included in the price of the ticket. All the guests that had been told they were to be there for this experience had to sit and wait 2 hours for the show to begin... No offer for a partial refund or anything else. This was false advertising.

Ticketmaster Jay-Z 4:44 Tour - I am very upset with Ticketmaster. I had mistakenly ordered 2 tickets for a show that was located in a different state and the show was happening on the day of. I called that same day to have my money refunded but the customer service was closed. The other option was that I can email customer service but it would take 72 hours for them to reach me back. I then decided okay well I can call them the following business day to have my money refunded. I called and I was told that I was supposed to have called the day of the show in order to get an exchange/refund. I argued that I did but service was closed and I emailed instead.
This lady argued stating that it’s unfortunate and she cannot refund me my money and that there were no other options she could do. All I asked was to either have my money of 564.80 refunded/exchange or receive tickets for the show that I originally wanted to go see in MY city. I was willing to be offered credit to my account, however she made no exception and would not accommodate at all!! I have been a valued customer for years and for them to treat me with such careless and non negotiable way was pathetic and very disappointing. This will be my LAST time that I will EVER purchase through Ticketmaster again. I have spent over 500 for two tickets and they couldn’t reimburse me. I am very upset with you all and again WILL NOT recommend Ticketmaster at all nor will I shop here again.

Will stop going to concerts after this last Ticketmaster experience. Continuous errors during purchase process. Website said I had up to 72 hours to cancel transaction. Tried to cancel and fine print states not all artists or venues will allow cancel. Cannot even re-sell these tickets on their site. I selected print tickets at home and was charged for mail delivery. Have been trying to call them for 3 days and get a constant busy signal. Will NEVER go through them again. They are a terrible company.

I attended the Big 10 Championship. I bought my ticket from Vivid Tickets. The ticket was not really a resale, TM and the B10 still owned the ticket, they just listed it as a resale to 2X and add 20%.

I purchased general admission tickets for Lady Gaga in Miami almost a year ago which isn’t uncommon. These tickets were credit card entry only (meaning you needed the physical card to enter and tickets were not provided for transfer or resale). I understand the concept and the idea is to protect the fans so they aren’t forced to pay extremely high resale value from 3rd parties for “hot” seats. However, a lot changes in a year… I moved to the other side of the country. Ticketmaster has no plan for supportable life changing circumstances and I am now out hundreds of dollars because I couldn’t attend the show.
I offered proof of address, proof I repurchased Tickets in the state I now live. I couldn’t give them away, give them back to Ticketmaster, sell them… They offered no solutions except “oh well”. I was fine not having the ridiculous fees returned (which is a whole separate issue in itself). They should not be allowed to make you feel hostage when you have a legitimate reason for not attending that can be supported. I wish I had other options to never use them again but they monopolize the entire event area.

Terrible, rude customer service, was not read the terms and conditions on a totally different transaction and was charged anyways, I could have gotten better tickets somewhere else... These companies then wonder what went wrong and they don’t see that customer satisfaction is the key; they prefer to hold to your couple of hundred dollars and not bend even a little, not buying anything ever from them, I would advice no one to buy anything there! Greedy company!

I purchased the tickets for The Killers concert in Sheffield on 25th of November (just note that English isn't my native language) and have received numerous emails and one of them said that if tickets doesn't arrive 5 days before the event they will find the way for me to get them. The event is in 5 days, still no tickets, on their page the shipping is confirmed, the tickets sent normally, but no tickets at my mailbox and I've received an email in which they claim to haven't even printed the tickets yet so they couldn't send them! And I can get them before the event but no address, no hour, no information. So I've tried to call them and have waited for 18 min! No one is answering. Great service guys.

In January of 2017 I purchased two tickets to Queen + Adam Lambert for the July 23rd 2017 show. It was advertised as the Ultimate experience. My sister and I love Queen + Adam Lambert. I bought the onstage tickets. Almost $1,250 a piece. We were so excited that day. Then we were shown our "platform" off the stage. We couldn't see a thing. Brian May and Adam had their backs to us the entire concert. I never saw the concert! It was falsely advertised and we were upset when we left the arena. It was a big dream that will never happen again.
I have reached out to my credit card company, I have posted on social media to try to make sure people don't buy an onstage Ultimate experience only to see a better view of the exact same concert at home in my bed on YouTube. I was allowed to take pictures but no video. I have many pics that back up my claim that this was far from an onstage Ultimate experience. I have too shared them so people can see how disappointing the view was. I believe I should pay something just not $2,500 for two tickets. Thank you.

Purchased tickets for a special occasion - artist postponed - heard this from the news, not from Ticketmaster. 11 days after the date of the show had gone, and this special event activity had been replaced by another - tried calling Ticketmaster to cancel ticket. Have held over a half hour listening to same messaging repeatedly - including telling me how easy it will be to get a refund... (Tickets do not have the 'get refund' option.) Tried the Chat option... that's 'down'. This event was important enough not to go through usual 3rd party ticket provider - lessons learned!

Bought a pair of Katy Perry tickets on a Citibank CC presale. Tickets were $150 + fees, then a few weeks later I find normal tickets adjacent are $90 + fees. What a scam - how unfair is it that they rip me off by $60 per ticket more than the person I'll be sitting next to. Obviously no refunds, and can only hope the concert is decent enough to outweigh my disappointment at Ticketmaster scamming me.

Bought tickets at a presale for Elton John 6 months before show date. Went to their website and somehow ended up buying tickets from a 3rd party that were triple what their value was. Paid $400 for 2 seats that should cost $100. Never been to this venue so we weren't sure of seating and thought it was strange the tickets came in a different name. Pretty convenient that while waiting to discuss this matter with manager at this Ticketmaster location there were about 2 dozen others in the same boat... One older lady paid almost $500 for her 2 seats that should have only been $49.50 each!! I called and customer service is absolutely no help!! Will Never buy tickets from Ticketmaster again! Complete scam and rip off!! Buyers beware.

I just purchased 4 tickets for an event with 2 additional add-ons which are listed $10 each. Like I normally do, I assume the system will calculate the total correctly. So I purchased the tickets. But when I look at it again, I see there's a missing $12.50 charge. I look closely at the details (adding up each processing fee, service fees) and I can't seem to find where this $12.50 comes from. So I contacted them, and they told me it's because the add-ons has an additional $6.25 processing fee on them each.
I was like wow, why didn't it states that there's such a high processing fee for such small items? Or at least list them on the details. I would have notice it first hand if I see that. I asked if I can cancel these 2 add-ons as I was only planning to pay $20 not $32.50. All they can do is crediting me $5 for this inconvenience. Since they are the monopoly (and StubHub), I would call the theatre or go personally to the box office to purchase the tickets. I will try to avoid Ticketmaster if I can. Please someone create another place for consumers to purchase tickets and don't let Ticketmaster get away with these high fees and charges.

I purchased four tickets for a theater production at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. I was told the ticket would arrive at my address w/in 2 weeks. It's been a month and they are still not here. Every time I call, I get a busy signal -- day or night. I will contact my credit card company to have them refuse payment if I do not receive tickets in the mail today.

I recently 2 purchased tickets to see Neil DeGrasse Tyson. I just printed them out, and saw that they are for seats 102 and 104 in the balcony level. They were not purchased separately, so I do not know why they would not be next to each other. I am hoping that my boyfriend and I are somehow able to sit next to each other.

I attended a concert with my wife recently. We purchased tickets at a VERY hefty price. When we arrived at the venue, and got down to the seating area, we were told by those around us (going through the same issue) that the seats did not exist! (We purchased seats 19 and 20. The seats in the row stopped at 17!). The other fans in our same situation now had to CRAM into the aisle and our "premiere" seats turned into standing room only. My wife has lupus and cannot stand for that long. In short, the entire night was a disaster. The ushers were no help.
On Live Nation's site (Ticket Master's parent company), they explicitly state that Ticketmaster Resale tickets would be refunded in full if the ticket "does not conform to the listing description". I would think arriving to find out your "seat" did not exist would certainly qualify! The total cost was over $2,000.00. Further, their follow up / "customer service" has been dreadful! Several emails stating: can't find a record of your purchase (I provided scans, order numbers, etc), "please give us 7-10 business days to investigate" (sent 3 times, extending this out for 2 weeks each time beyond the promised resolution date), providing a number for a woman named Pam in West Virginia which goes right into her voicemail (and she never called back). According to other online reviews of TM, many others have experienced the same experience with "Pam".
The section in question: Special Refund Provisions Applying to Resale Tickets (note clause 'c'). The following applies only to resale tickets to Illinois events: If you purchase resale tickets to an event located in Illinois, you will receive a refund of the amount you paid for that resale ticket if (a) the ticketed event is canceled (in which case you will not receive a refund of any delivery fees), (b) that ticket does not allow you to enter the ticketed event for reasons that may include, without limitation, that the ticket is counterfeit or that the ticket has been canceled by the issuer due to non-payment, unless the ticket is canceled due to an act or omission by you, (c) that ticket fails to conform to its listing description, or (d) you failed to receive that ticket. This is out and out theft. A complete scam.

Received an e-mail from my local theatre with a special offer on discounted tickets for a upcoming live show. Clicked the link and wound up on the Ticketmaster website. The website showed empty seats side by side in the center of the 1st Balcony of the show venue but would not let me select them. Wound up selecting seats off to the side. Gave my credit information and received a receipt from Ticketmaster for $164.95. A few minutes later I got an e-mail from a company called Ticket Protector-CUMIS saying I purchased ticket insurance for an additional $16. I did not want this insurance and do not know how I got it from Ticketmaster.
Now I am attempting to cancel this insurance with Ticket Protector-Cumis. To put a cherry on top of this bad experience with Ticket Master, I checked my credit card today and found Ticket Master charged me $180.95 which is $16 more than I was shown on the receipt they gave me and Ticket Protector-Cumis is also charging me $16. I will never use the Ticketmaster website again to purchase tickets and I e-mailed my local theatre, who sent me the original e-mail that put me in touch with Ticketmaster, letting them know about all the problems I have experienced with Ticketmaster.

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with Ticketmaster. Spent 150$ on tickets to a show months ago, never received tickets, and was told I could not get a refund. Chargeback on the way. Trash company, Trash Service. What a joke. Abigail ** should be fired. I've gotten nothing but the runaround. I want my money back!
