I was online the very second that tickets went on sale only to be told they were sold out. Immediately thereafter those same tickets were listed on StubHub and other ticket sales websites for 10 times the face value. A $500 ticket was $5000 plus... EACH! What a scam! It's a disgrace to the supposedly down home "American family values" that country music tries to imply they cater to. Calling out the CMA to do something!! This has been going on for years. Is someone getting a cut of this money? Is that why nothing changes???

Since I was taking two children to their very first concert, I wanted it to be special. I spent twice as much as I had originally planned so that we could the front row of the balcony. These seats were designated as front row, and yet when we arrived at the venue, there were box seats in front of us with tall adults lining the railing. It was a sold out show so we could not move. I contacted Ticketmaster first thing the next morning to ask them to address the issue. After all, my children saw none of the show. It was heartbreaking for them in addition to a waste of money.
The rep viewed the online seating plan from which I selected my seats and agreed with me that it showed that these were front row seats, and that no other rows or seats should have been in front of us. He apologized profusely, then transferred me to a supervisor for "a refund." The supervisor left me on hold for 45 minutes and then came back on to say that they would be happy to send a $25 Ticketmaster gift card... To me to make me feel better about the $364 in tickets I purchased based on their fake seating arrangement?! Had I only paid $35 per ticket we could have been down on the main floor with a much better view of the concert stage.

I can hardly stand it anymore. Every time I use Ticketmaster it seems amazing to me that such a big corporation cannot get it together. I have trouble with the website every time. Hey Ticketmaster - people have iMac computers, maybe you could sell to them. So I tried my iPad but the App doesn't take gift cards. Why???? So I went to the website on my iPad and bought the tickets, entered my gift card but it didn't take it. Argggh. Btw the gift card was a refund of outrageous service fees paid for spending an entire afternoon buying hockey tickets last March. With service fees that high the service should be exceptional. Too bad we are stuck with using Ticketmaster for a lot of events. It is an awful experience every time.

I was online to purchase tickets as soon as they went on sale. Clicked on 'find tickets' and it proceeded to search. It tells you not to refresh or leave page or you will lose you place in line, so I just waited it out. Seven minutes later a message pops up saying no tickets are available. The only ones you can purchase are top tier VIP packages. They do however have a bunch of their "fan to fan" resale tickets available (apparently from the pre-sale earlier in the week) here is where it gets really sketchy.
Ticketmaster is supposed to be against bots, yet they have nothing in place to prevent them. They allow resale of tickets immediately after purchasing calling it "fan to fan" resale, which is about as far from the truth as you can get. Then, not only do they charge fees for the initial sale of the ticket, but they charge again for the "resale" of the ticket so they can collect even more money. The truth is that they want the bots to buy the tickets and resale them so they can collect fees twice instead of just once.

Don't ever purchase Ticketmaster' pre-sales. They take your purchase and send it through a different company called Ticketstoday. The problem with that is that their policies are completely different so even though you're under the impression you're purchasing through Ticketmaster, whose policy is to send the tickets within 10 to 14 business days, Ticketstoday's policy is to wait until 10 days before the event to send the tickets.
That may be ok for some people but these were a Christmas gift, and the person they're for will need to take the time off 2 weeks in advance, which means I'll have to tell them "Well, I bought you tickets but I don't have them yet." just doesn't have the same effect. I even called Ticketmaster and they said they have no record of my purchase. There was no benefit to me purchasing through the presale. My sister’s tickets were slightly cheaper, still floor seats so just as good, and I purchased on 09/08/17; still don't have my tickets. I got back on for my sister during general sale, purchased hers on 09/15/17 and she got hers in the mail on 09/22/17. Do not purchase through Ticketstoday; or sign up for Ticketmaster presale as the purchase may be sent through to another company and not actually done through Ticketmaster and you could get screwed.

Ordered WWE tix, got the original tix in August. Today, the day before the event, get a duplicate pair of tix with a different price-point. Called customer service and waded through the frustrating as hell IVR prompts only to be informed the rep had no clue and wouldn't look into it. Will likely update this review tomorrow with angrier language when I find out I am driving into town for nothing because TM is a customer service nightmare. My complaint is more with the IVR system than anything. For the love of god, why can't I press zero to get a human. The stupid voice prompts couldn't even understand one sentence they were asking me and I got stuck in an IVR loop asking me the same question over and over again. Please, for the love of all that is humane make them fix that stupid, non-customer-focused IVR system. ZERO should be allowed. Please stop the madness. I doubt I'll ever purchase through overpriced TM again after this.

I was just online for Ticketmaster to purchase Robert Plant tickets at the EXACT time they went on sale to the public. After the screen loaded for 30 seconds it said there were no tickets available at any cost. I called the Ticketmaster number and when they finally answered after five minutes I was told I had been transferred to Front Row Tickets. (I can only assume this is a subsidiary of TicketMaster.) Keep in mind that tickets on Ticketmaster were priced at $100 or less. When Front Row Tickets took my order they said each ticket was $400 for the seats I wanted. What the hell!?!? I'm furious over the scam that these companies have managed to do on us.

In planning events for the holidays this year I attempted to purchase 2 tickets to the Moscow Ballet production of Nutcracker Suite in Chicago. After a lot of time planning and choosing the time and selecting seats, I moved on to the actual purchase. The two tickets were $28 each so $56 for the tickets to be delivered digitally. When I got to the checkout, the total was $80+ (can't remember exact) so nearly $30 in fees on a $56 purchase. It is simply over the top when there is no "handling" of any kind as this is an electronic transaction. Normally, I can put up with a reasonable fee but this time it is just too much and I will not purchase the tickets and I will actively avoid Ticketmaster for all future ticket purchases. The fees are so ridiculously high in relation to the actual ticket cost that it just feels like a complete rip-off.

I wanted tickets for a concert at the Fillmore in San Francisco. When it came time to choose tickets, there were 2 choices. First choice was general admission standing for $25, then there was a second choice which had more expensive priced tickets and stated, you will receive your seat number after your purchase. So I wanted seats, and bought the more expensive tickets. Turns out, they were resale tickets for standing only, and the exact same tickets as the first choice. I called Ticketmaster to discuss the wording which said I would receive my seat number and the man was very rude and said that was my interpretation and all tickets at the Fillmore are standing only.
How is someone supposed to know that when you are from out of town and the wording in black and white says you will receive your seat number??? Also Amy at the Fillmore has the best customer service! Although it was not her fault (problem is with Ticketmaster not the venue) she was very apologetic and she is the prime example of customer service!

Went online to purchase a CIRCLE CITY CLASSIC ticket for $20. The fees for each ticket were $10.50! This is ridiculous. Fees should not be half of a purchase price. I then priced a event at Lucas Oil Stadium for today 9/19/17. For a $43 ticket the fees were only $7.43 per ticket. I feel you are purposely over pricing guest who want to purchase classic tickets. My question is why are these fees so high? I will never use your services again.

I posted two tickets for resale via the Ticketmaster app. They appeared for a while but then all of a sudden, the section the tickets were for sale in showed no available tickets. Thinking my tickets had been sold, I checked the app and the tickets were still classified as being listed for sale despite the fact they were not showing up as available. I contacted TM and they saw the issue and said nothing could be done about it. I then asked them to escalate to a supervisor and they made me wait so long for help that the show started and then no tickets were available to purchase and they said there was nothing they could do about it because I couldn't prove what had happened. I asked for a refund on my tickets and they said no.

I purchased October tickets to a basketball event. The website makes no indication that these were pre-season tickets. I purchased two tickets, which each had approximately $42 transaction fees attached to them through the website. I entered chat with a representative with a company several hours after making the purchase, and I had no option to refund. My only option is to re-sell the tickets, and it only makes me feel worse given that the website is exploiting the transaction fees of each re-sale, and the new ticket buyers may similarly not be aware of this as being a pre-season game. I believe that information is incredibly pertinent to the value of the event.

I live in Seattle. I purchased a ticket to a concert in Texas (Irving) from Ticketmaster. Received an email today from another company letting me know the venue for the show has changed to a general admission only venue. I contacted Ticketmaster to discuss the cost of the original ticket for an actual seat vs the change to standing room only. Requested a refund for the difference in ticket costs. Original ticket with fees was $70.01, cost of ticket at new venue standing only with fees is $29.75 which would be $40.26.
Gabby placed me on hold to come back and tell me there is nothing they can do for me, no full refund and no partial refund until the promoter informs them of what they can do. I was told I can call back tomorrow and spend another 39 mins on hold to potentially be told that I won't get any money back even though I am not getting the same service I paid for. I even booked my hotel to be within walking distance of the venue and now the new venue is further away, so I need to figure out transportation to get there as well. This entire experience is very disappointing since I use Ticketmaster multiple times a year.

My son purchased tickets to a Neil DeGrasse Tyson lecture for the wrong venue. (New York, we are in Boston). He immediately noticed his mistake and emailed Ticketmaster to ask for a refund. The email notice said someone would get back to him in 12 hours. Not true. So, he called the very next day. The purchase was made on a Saturday, so that made it Sunday. The phone just rang and continued to make a beeping noise. He called them again on Monday morning, explained his situation and was told by the representative that the venue did not offer refunds and therefore there was nothing they could do for him. I'm not sure what the venue has to do with the refund since the transaction was less than 24 hours old. I told him to ask for a supervisor. He waited on hold for 37 minutes for a supervisor to come to the phone.
Jonathan was very short and he didn't want to hear any of the circumstances surrounding the mistaken purchase. He was condescending with my son so I got on the phone. He kept saying, "The only advice I can give you is to post it on our sister site to try and resell them." I, in turn, said, "Right. Your sister site is just Ticketmaster under a different name." I continued to ask him if there was anything that could be done. Could they at least refund the processing fees a total of $40? Nope, nothing he can do. "It says no refunds on the site." That is up for interpretation as it is misleading. Nowhere on the ticket page does it say that the tickets are nonrefundable. All that it says is: "Get a full refund on tickets for participating venues and teams if you change your mind within 72 hours of purchase. If eligible, a refund link will appear on the order details page of your TM account."
This is the first time my son, he's 19, has purchased tickets on his own. But even I would have interrupted that statement as I had up to 72 hours to change my mind. Ticketmaster is sneaky and isn't clear about their refund policies. It was literally 5 minutes after purchase that he realized his mistake. I have spent thousands of dollars on the Ticketmaster site, you think they could refund my college age son $260 of his own money. Ticketmaster is a 5-billion-dollar company. $262 is 0.0000000524 percent of 5 billion. Another example of the big companies taking advantage of the little guy. I won't be purchasing any tickets from Ticketmaster again. Note: When I asked for the supervisor's full name he said they aren't allowed to give out their last names and gave me an op code. Has anyone else received this response? How do I report him directly to Ticketmaster?

I bought tickets from someone else and they transferred the tickets to me via the Live Nation App. I check the tickets on my phone multiple times and am excited to go to the event. The night of the event I show up to the door and they say I'm already inside, so I think I've been had by a scammer. I call Ticketmaster that night and can't get through to anyone. The next day I call them and they tell me that once I have the tickets transferred to me they void anything else out so I can't be scammed. I then ask why my tickets didn't work and they tell me I never opened the tickets. Which I know is wrong because I showed about a dozen people and had them scanned multiple times at the event.
Now they are saying that they can't give me a refund because I purchased them through someone else. I don't want a refund for the price I paid someone else, I just want a refund for the amount that TicketMaster sold the tickets for. They clearly see that the tickets are under my ownership and they are figuring out that something went wrong. Once that is verified I don't see why they can't refund me the value of the tickets plus their service fees.

I bought tickets to see Iron Maiden and Metallica a few months ago through Live Nation/Ticketmaster which I now know is the same company. I was emailed my Metallica tickets after purchase but my Iron Maiden one was never sent. Despite purchasing the other ticket first, it was never sent to me. I went online to see if I could print it out but was unable to so I called customer service. The agent informed me I could download the app and do it or I could have it printed out and mailed to me for an extra service fee. He also said I could get it at roll call at the event. What is the point of buying tickets online if I'm just going to wait in line at an event?
This was the day before the concert so I asked the agent how I was supposed to get my ticket mailed in before tomorrow. I simply asked him if he could just print out the info and email it to me. I don't understand what the difference it would make if I can't see the ticket online why I would be able to on the app. My friend that went with me was told the tickets had to be mailed in for an extra mailing fee when he bought his. He also downloaded the Ticketmaster app which was flagged as malware on his phone's protection app. Eventually the agent was able to send me my tickets through email but this whole ordeal wasted my time. Next time I will consider if going to an event is worth dealing with the extra hassle of trying to get my ticket from Ticketmaster/Live Nation.

I waited patiently for weeks for individual tickets to go on sale for a hockey game, which happened to be one of the last teams to go on sale for the season. I was going to buy them for my brother and his younger son as a birthday gift. I set my alarm and was ready to go at exactly the time told. I found some tickets and went to purchase them; however, the only option for delivery was something they called Mobile. Now, I get that it's 2017 in a tech age, but their mobile delivery specifically says that you can't email nor similar tech option. I could not do this because it was a gift, and I had bought tickets for a different gift to a football game the day before which were emailed to me. After searching for awhile on their disorganized, unfriendly website, I found the info to email and call them.
The first phone call was a robot and it said that I could not buy these tickets over the phone - even though the website said I could. It was very frustrating "talking" to this robot because we had to repeat the information several times. The second phone call, we were on hold for awhile and talked to two representatives. That phone call was over an hour! Neither really said much of anything besides "I'm sorry for the hold" and "we can't do that." No pleasantries, no sign of comprehending the conversations, no effort that showed they wanted us to be satisfied customers, definitely nothing above and beyond!
One of them worked in the "escalations" department, which I saw somebody else on here say. (Aka I was clearly frustrated. I'm confused though; if your company is that bad that you have to have a whole department called that, then why not fix the problem and work on getting a better business and providing better customer service?) At one point, the guy in the escalations department said he would credit me the extra cost of mailing the ticket. This was the only solution I actually heard from this company. However, it turns out that it was not true because I literally could not be mailed the ticket.
I still have never heard a reason for this. I could not get my so-called product emailed, mailed, faxed nor anything. So, they never got my money and I plan on never giving them any again. Another frustrating part here is that there are concerts, events, etc that I would like to go to, but I will not end up supporting these artists, venues, etc because they continue to use such a terrible middle man/3rd party.

My Ticketmaster account was hacked back in December without my knowledge. I received no notification that my email and or password had been changed or that someone had used my account. Fast forward to 8/7/17 and we get all the way to the Pinnacle Bank Arena, get to our seats and within 15 minutes we are escorted out of the building because our tickets that we bought the day they went on sale back in November were no longer valid tickets. The people that purchased our tickets from a 3rd party with a name of "Chris **" printed on the tickets got to keep our seats and neither of those people were Chris **.
Since the concert was sold out we were given no options to being able to purchase new ones and left with nothing. We have since opened a fraud claim with Ticketmaster to at least try and get a refund on our tickets. The way we were treated at Pinnacle Bank Arena was ridiculous and I really have no desire to ever go to a show there again. I had ID on me showing that the tickets belonged to us, I had email confirmations that we indeed purchased the tickets. I have since changed all my login information for the site, not even sure I will ever use it again to purchase event tickets. After doing some searching it appears that this is nothing new for Ticketmaster as they have several complaints against them for this type of hack/scam. Finally when I got through they informed me I could not refund the tickets. Their blurb on the website about being able to get a refund within 3 days is misleading and not entirely true. Only certain tickets allow you to do this, also cannot resell them easily on their site as advertised again. Only certain tickets have this functionality.
Unfortunately you have to buy the ticket to find out! Whilst they have a long list of vendors who participate in refunds I think this is inadequate and really a customer trap... I suggested to them there is a simple solution... state on each ticket NOT REFUNDABLE AND\OR NOT AVAILABLE FOR RESALE. This company is quick to take your cash but offers no customer service in return. I suggest potential customers use their site to see what tickets are available and purchase from the venue direct. That way you can refund them if needed.

We booked 6 tickets for friends and family through Ticketmaster in advance in US. After created an account on the site, I saw the tickets were reserved. But when we arrived at the park a week later, we could not log into my account. There was a Ticketmaster representative on site, but he failed too after 30 minutes of resetting passwords multiple times. By the time he gave up, the show was already started. We then called the Ticketmaster customer service, but the line was so busy that we were told to hold for at least 20-30 minutes. We decided to give up, the most exciting event of the visit. And the representative agreed with us that we should get refund because those tickets were never scanned, used.
Well that was not the case. When we called customer service after got back home, they would not make the refund. First, I was told that I should print out the tickets, then, said I should call the customer service on the spot, last, told I should have called them within 72 hours. Yes, we called them on the fourth day after the event, but was second day we got back home. Let me preface my review by saying that the rep I spoke with on the phone was a total pro. She was nice, helpful, and really tolerant of the fact that I was extremely dissatisfied. So, Kudos to her for her patience and professionalism in the face of this despicable system. The product however - is a scam. Now, as to Ticketmaster and Platinum Tickets: Though they are not allowed to sell tickets for these venues above the face value - somehow they have a magical supply of these 'platinum tickets' from a 'third party' available just days after all the good seats were sold out. So, somehow Ticketmaster has exclusive access to tickets that have never been sold before - and they are able to charge 2-10 times the retail price because supposedly these tickets are recently made available by the artist or event promoter.
I spent 3 hours on the phone with TM today (1.5 of which was on hold), and no one was able to tell me who the promoter was, who made these 'platinum tickets' available for sale, or exactly where the tickets came from. And, to top it off, one hour after I paid WAY too much for some of these rare and fancy 'platinum tickets' 20 more of these tickets became available for sale at a lower price. All front row, all equal distance from the stage, and now all cheaper than the ones I just bought. What just happened? Though I was able to come to a reasonable resolution - bear in mind that the official Ticketmaster policy for Platinum Tickets is: No Refunds. No Exchanges. No Cancellation Protection. No Transparency. No Kidding.
Somehow, Ticketmaster has turned their website into a resale portal and they are offering 'deals' on brand new tickets available from anonymous entities at an exorbitant rate. They long ago decided to join the "it's just business" folks who try to excuse their total lack of morals, decency, or social responsibility. So, the next time your favorite artist tries to offer their fans tickets for a fair and negotiated price, and on hour one of the public sale you can't buy tickets because they are all gone, please feel comforted by the fact that Ticketmaster does not care about music, fans, or people because, "it's just business".
And should you ever try to contact one of these platinum representatives, and the phone line is not giving you the busy signal, be prepared to wait a lonnnnng time. Ticketmaster only has about 4-5 phone reps in the office at any given time - and these 4-5 reps have the responsibility of handling all of the Platinum Ticket phone calls for the entirety of USA, Canada, and also parts of Europe. 4-5 phone reps to handle millions of customers?!? It's just business.

On the first day... when tickets went on sale for Barcelona-Real Madrid game in Miami, there were NO tickets available OTHER THAN THE MOST EXPENSIVE seats (thousands of dollars). I purchased the cheapest 2 tickets available for almost 400 per ticket. Then a few days later they made available ALL THE TICKETS and were selling HALF the price. So they overcharge me $ 200 per ticket. When I called to get a partial refund to match the current official price... they just said no refunds or exchange. I'm not happy at all due to being a genuine fan of "The Weekend"... The tickets went on sale at 3pm and at 6pm after work I try to purchase a ticket and they are sold out due to the scalpers, and Ticketmaster quite happily say "we have a resale site you can purchase a ticket" which has jumped in price from 139.00 to anywhere from 175.00 up to 570.00 per tickets. It's absolutely disgusting. Where is the justice in this???? Those people have no intentions of going to this concert and are just out to make money off the celebrities and these ticketing places quite happily are allowing these idiots to do it. Plus there's another part you're only allowed tickets if you own an American Express card, now how many people do you know that own one of these cards???? The rich ticket scalpers???? Something needs to be done about this coz it is absolutely ridiculous that there isn't a law against these money making scammers.

I originally bought tickets for June 9th tickets to go see The Weeknd. It would have been my first concert ever for myself and I was beyond excited to get some back in early March. I go and select a ticket, I wanted to buy two but there were "resale" tickets? I had no idea what those were until after I bought them. I wanted to buy two seats in the same row. So, I thought, "Oh, it said I could buy one or three". So I bought one and it chose where I sat in the row? That's horrible. I go and try to buy another individual seat but they say, "Sorry! You can only buy tickets in pairs!" So I wanted to switch them for the individual to buy both seats and they said... "That's impossible, I'm sorry that's up to the reseller." So I'm already pissed off because that's sketchy, and they offered little help and they said, "We can't give you a refund. You have to sell your resale tickets! Sorry!"
How does this make any sense! (I'll explain further down what happened...) So I've already spent 200+ dollars on one ticket so far and I'm pretty upset that I can't get two, because my friend decided to ask to join me... but, anyways, I asked if I could get information about the reseller to see if he/she could open the tickets to selling individually and Ticketmaster told me once more, "Sorry! Can't do that or can't change it!" So. I gave up and decided to give in and sell my awful ticket at this point. I resell the resale ticket (this was already ridiculous), and there's an AGREEMENT! It says, "In order for you to sell your tickets you have to check mark this box just in case your buyer wants a refund on the event!" (Now this is stupid) - I could have easily gotten a refund from the resale ticket I bought it from unless it was impossible, being from a bot! But, I wouldn't know!
They refused to help me get a refund, yet expect to say yes to getting a refund taken out of MY account versus TM to pay up or the venue to refund the money to /That/ buyer! That's horrible! It should fall under an agreement after you sell the tickets you should be severed of this agreement where if the venue fails it is RESPONSIBILITY of TM to pay back! I put in my card information and agree to the awful checkmark, and then maybe a week later change my card information because this one "Was not a valid payment", thus I ended up with over 5 different emails telling me "I have to verify it", the card was completely valid, and had plenty of money on it, but... let's continue. I'm frustrated and honestly will never get another ticket with Ticketmaster after the phone tag I played with Ticketmaster to hear them tell me, "Your card information is VERIFIED".
Then I get another one telling me the information doesn't exist on the website after verifying it like it instructed in email. (The emails sent were not false email or viruses. I checked.) So, headache after headache, my tickets FINALLY sold, and more "unverified card" issues... I check and call them every few days since late May after my tickets initially sold. I call and I leave them my name, etc., information they would need in general. I call them back the next day and they say, "There's something wrong with our card information processor online, we're going to give you a call back when there's an update on your account. What's your phone number?" I give the number... it's been 5 days, no emails, no phone calls. I call them again, they say, "Oh we don't have a phone number in the system."
The last lady said they put it in and would call me back! I feel like she was listening to me and was careless and failed to put or write down my issue let alone my phone number to call me back! This lady actually put it in and told us an email would be sent too. A email gets sent saying the same thing, "It's still down we don't know when it will be back up." That's hilarious. It's been almost two weeks yet specifically when I want my money from a sold ticket it takes almost half a month just to get to a point where they actually verify my card or give me anything?? Anyways! I give them another call after getting an empty time. I get forwarded to resale in less than 2 minutes, I swear they knew I was going to call or already saw the amount of calls I've made in the last month.
It finally got to a point where I'm now waiting on my "micro deposit" but that'll take another 5 days. Then I verify that, then have to wait another 10 days... it takes so long to deposit yet they're a multimillion dollar company? It's horrible service and they're rather careless and don't care about the people trying to buy from them to constantly ruin it! It was the biggest headache I have had since April... It has taken forever to get my payment. I don't understand what failed on their part. It's taken so much of my time. Let's hope after adjusting my current information from my card to direct deposit that it happens... or it'll be more phone calls and email tagging, I just wish the system was simpler and more in and out rather than what I ran into...

Ticketmaster continues to try and resell tickets at higher than face value for concerts they perceive as being high demand. This often results in low attendance at concerts reported as "sold out", like Prince's last concert in Calgary. The amazing thing is, Ticketmaster lists the "resale" tickets on their official website. They've dispensed with the third party facades. That, friends, is ballsy.

Ticketmaster seem completely incompetent. After erroneously purchasing tickets for a concert in Monterey, CA for this Friday as opposed to Saturday, I contacted Ticketmaster via its chat function to be informed that while it would be possible to exchange the tickets I could only do so by calling Ticketmaster on Monday. After being placed on hold for almost 40 minutes the following Monday, the agent first informed that it would not be possible to buy tickets for the Saturday. Upon my insistence to speak to a supervisor, the same agent came back after another 10 minutes to correct her earlier incorrect statement, and assured me the tickets were transferred to Saturday. She also assured me that the electronic tickets will be forwarded with 20 minutes.
More than 4 hours later, I still had not received the email and called again. Again I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes, upon which the agent told me that the problem has been fixed and that I will receive my tickets in 20 minutes by email. Yet again, this did not happen. This morning, I called again. After another long holding period the agent (Giselle) told me that the previous two agents made a mistake with some setting and that this has been fixed. Again I was assured that an email with my electronic tickets will be sent by email. Another 3 hours later, and the email has not yet arrived. I decided to now cancel the tickets and will request AMEX to put a fraudulent block on the charges. DO NOT USE Ticketmaster. I will definitely never do so again. If it was possible, I would rate the service in the negative!

My experience with their customer service call center was the most dissatisfying experience I've ever dealt with. The WORST ever! On June 2nd, I went on their website and bought tickets for my daughter as a birthday gift to see a comedy show. I made the mistake of typing my email incorrectly. For days, I kept checking my email and never received the tickets. I checked my credit card and there was a charge. So on June 8th, I called their contact number to find out what's going on with my tickets (this was around 3:30 pm). The lady I spoke to verified my email and I realized it was incorrect (which was my mistake). She fixed it and told me to wait 15-20 minutes to get the tickets through my email. I waited 30 minutes and no email. Called back, a different representative I spoke to verified my email and tried emailing me again. I still didn't get my tickets. I called again. This time we decided to try a different email. I still didn't get my tickets.
This went on few times. Every time I called, the representatives said they resolved the issue and I should get an email w/ my tickets. It got to the point where I was on my 5th call over a 3 hour time frame of trying to resolve the issue and waiting for the email, I requested to speak to a supervisor. The representative kept trying to resolve the issue instead of getting a supervisor to talk to me. Then, he puts me on hold for several minutes (5-10 min), came back on the phone just to tell me that he's still trying to get a supervisor, and while waiting for the supervisor, he's trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Again, he puts me on hold and we get disconnected. I called the 6th time, another representative kept finding excuses not to let me talk to a supervisor, said she fixed the problem and guarantees that I will get my tickets through my email in 5 minutes.
We disputed for few minutes about what guarantee she was going to guarantee me if I don't get the email. She just kept saying that she fixed the problem and that she guarantees it. She waited with me on the phone and after 5 minutes, no email/tickets, so I requested for a supervisor immediately. She puts me on hold and several minutes later got disconnected. By now I am extremely frustrated and furious. The 7th call I made, I got disconnected again while I was put on hold for a supervisor. The 8th call (around 8:45 pm), I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold. After 15 minutes on hold, someone from the escalate department picks up to tell me that they will mail my tickets free of charge through UPS.
I got off the phone at 9:05 pm...still very dissatisfied about how poorly the situation was dealt with, the amount of time that I spent dealing with this issue, how the representative guarantees me, and how complicated it is to talk to a supervisor (which I never got to talk to). In addition, every time I called, I had to go through a process of providing my information to an automated teller before speaking to a representative and every time was a different representative, which I had to repeat myself and explain the whole situation. This is the first time I had ever wanted to complain and write a review about a horrific experience.
Updated on 10/22/2017: So, I left off that the customer rep. from the escalate dept. was going to ship my tickets through UPS. Well, I never got my tickets either. I was told that I would receive it on June 16th. I was off that day so was home all day. UPS came but I only got my shipment of clothes that I had ordered... No tickets. I gave it a few days before calling Ticketmaster again. The customer rep. that I spoke to this time was no different from all the others that I've spoken to in the past... Rude. He checked the tracking number and told me it was delivered and nobody was home so the tickets are now at the UPS center.
Well, I was home and even if I wasn't, UPS would have left me a note, which I never got. Then, he told me I need to pick up my tickets at the center. By now, I want nothing to do with Ticketmaster and want my money back. Plus, I shouldn't have to drive out of my way to pick up my tickets. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me a refund. He stated that "We did our part. We sent it through UPS." So I told him that I'm going dispute this transaction with my credit card company and we hung up. As soon as I got off the phone, I called my credit card company and my problem was resolved... I no longer had to deal w/ Ticketmaster nor will I ever again!

I had gotten the pre-sale code from the artist's website so I purchased via their site to get to Ticketmaster. I was going for what I knew to be best as VIP. As I saw the VIP seats offered, I saw listed Platinum Seats for about 35% more, at least. As you know you have a timer going on your current seat offer. So, I went for the Platinum as these were Christmas gifts and I figured this would be like VIP + better seats.
A few days before the concert, my daughter asked what exactly she got for Platinum. I told her what I 'had thought' but yes, I had forgotten about verifying what perks she would get. So Google of course and it says that these are considered Best Seats in the House thus the higher cost. It listed no perks like shirts at discount, anything!! Something!! Marked it up to duh mom and lesson learned. When she got to the venue with her friend for the concert, they were asking her what were Platinum seats. She told them all we knew. The lady being very kind checked and nope she wasn't on a VIP list nor was I as the purchaser.
A couple of employees kept saying for sure you get something at that price. I tried to call TM in the meantime and it was Sunday evening. Of course nobody is working. Seriously, why would there be? So I told her just enjoy the seats and I was sorry. She had known prior that there were no perks, it was the venue employees that were determined she MUST get something. But no.
During the concert she and her friend chatted with some people in the seats in front of them. They were VIP seats and they had gotten something from the Band, a piece of art I believe she said. AND, the kicker, their tickets were substantially cheaper. But yet I had bought Best Seats in the House section. One row diff to see the band was nothing. I'm saying I paid, for 2 tickets over $120 more total than the folks in front and NO perks. Now, what's wrong with this picture.
Since then I have Googled again and saw people totally angry about their Platinum seats' costs with similar complaints. Many just said it was just a way for TM to get more money out of people. LIKE ME!! LOL. How is it feasible to sell Platinum for much more, seats in front of them cheaper? I don't know what I expect to happen here but it's just flat out a price hike that is seriously without any factual incentive to purchase them. Best seats imply at least from your row forward are the top of the line, cream of the crop. But nooo!!
It's very late and I can only hope I am making sense with little sleep last night. I think they should stop this ridiculous gouging of customers, or include VIP perks along with the Platinum price. Basically I feel Ticketmaster gouged us prob for seats that would have been VIP for less money but I fell for the Platinum which sounded like an UPGRADE! But ended up being an extra $120ish bucks more to them for nothing!
I thank you for at least letting me sound off. I do know my daughter loved the concert and her seats. She like me, feels badly I spent that much more for the seats. This is not something I would normally do, but yep, I did it this time. I hope you can make some sense out of all this dialogue. I can't tell a short story!!! It's embedded in my genes. I'm originally from the South!! :)

Tulsa show was great except, 1. bought VIP package, did not get any VIP at the arena. No Early entry. No swag that was promised. No Lanyards, ect.... To make things worse, I just got back home to Little Rock and found the T-shirt I bought during the stampede at the table was not the one I asked & paid for. I asked for the "US & THEM" shirt with the two outstretched hands but got some BS crap shirt that my four yr old could have copied and pasted. Wow. I know Roger can't oversee everything but, when you pay in advance for "VIP", Early Entry so you don't have to fight the crowd.... Maybe this mistake would not have happened. Very, very unhappy with Ticketmaster. Let's start with fees, handling fee really, inconvenience fee even crazier than venue fees. Have you heard this 1 before? The promoters aren't allowing refunds. Or we can contact the venue but they're not guaranteeing refunds. But Ticketmaster is the 1 that sold you your tickets. The venue has no say. They're rude and such liars. They also own the "TicketsNow" site (I believe). Not positive but heard that. Which is a secondary market for their tickets to sell at a greater rate. They do (pre-sales) and only give the codes to ticket brokers who scoop up all the best seats and sell them on Ticketmaster site. I'm so sick of their rude, lying, fee grabbing practices. I was unable to print the tickets. "You will not receive paper tickets for this event. Log in to our website or app on your smartphone to view your mobile ticket." I installed the app on my phone and logged in and noticed that the event was immediately listed under "Past Events". The ticket was "ANY ONE DAY" between Thu and Sun. This was Saturday morning. I noticed that I was indeed able to view tickets I have purchased of other upcoming events. But this particular ticket was inaccessible.
I went online twice to chat with representatives to resolve this. One told me, "The best I can do would be for me to set these for will call for you." I went to the event - went to Will Call. No tickets. I showed them my receipt and explained that I can't get to my tickets and they said that wasn't something that they can allow me entry with. So I purchased another ticket at the door for $80 (incidentally over $14 cheaper)!! I tried to dispute this with my Amex. Apparently they have an interesting relationship with Ticketmaster where you cannot easily file disputes with them. I don't have the exact message to copy/paste because I've been logged out since I attempted to dispute online, but it was something resembling, "Ticketmaster has very strenuous dispute regulations and you will need to reach out to Ticketmaster directly in order to resolve this."
I called Ticketmaster and spoke with someone and got a semi-unhelpful response of, "I'll submit this for you to see if they'll resolve it, but it may not be possible." My daughter freaked out and was hysterical (yes, she is a little dramatic).
Well she had been planning to go and was really excited so... my husband looked in his email and a message said that THE TICKETS WERE STILL IN HIS CART. Thinking that he DID NOT buy the tickets he went to another site and bought the tickets online. I checked our credit card and at that point NO CHARGES had been applied. He called Ticketmaster only for them to say "that this is out of their hands because they are just an intermediary and ONLY resell tickets and it wasn't their fault the site crashed... if we had done this on our their mobile phone they could track the crash but since we did it on the computer they had no way of tracking it". That was the first time we spoke to them.
And those notices about the tickets still being in your cart "will come even if you bought the tickets that message is always generated" though ODDLY WE DO NOT RECEIVE THOSE MESSAGES anymore after they said THEY WOULD NOT REFUND our $230 (which is now $460 because of buying the tickets from another site). They transferred my husband to another associate of TICKETMASTER who said she could file a complaint (yeah right). Our credit card company said we were welcome to file a complaint. "They COULD NOT stop a pending charge from occurring". The insult to injury part is where they added you can always "try to sell those tickets on OUR SITE though we do add a $17.16 upcharge per ticket which is a handling charge!!" On the band's (Gorillaz) FB page, another fan wrote that he was able to get a ticket YESTERDAY with a presale code. What is the point of sending purchasers to your website on ticket sale day if you also send people there a day earlier with a presale code?? Why hasn't Ticketmaster been held accountable for these horrible practices?

5 months before the show I selected 5 upper cost tickets for a Saturday matinee Phantom of the Opera show in Birmingham, AL. When I printed my tickets & went to the event we couldn't enter because the tickets showed the 1st night of the show (Wed.) which had already past. There were also two other families I ran into at the ticket counter (I had to buy left over seats on Sat. for the grandkids & I to go to the show). While the show was still running I contacted Customer Support who assured me they would send my case to an appeals group & wait 10 days & call back.
Today I called back & customer support person said nothing was on my account about appealing case & show wasn't running anymore so couldn't help me. I'm just out $1,500! I think there is something wrong with your system. I asked just to be reimbursed for the ADDITIONAL tickets I had to buy. If I thought I'd bought tickets for a certain night, I certainly wouldn't miss the event after paying $1,444 for them. Please consider this request.

Finally, a company who cares about people. I called Ticketmaster to find out if my tickets would be eligible for an exchange because we recently learned that my 19-year-old daughter had a life-threatening heart situation that would require surgery this week. I was fully expecting Ticketmaster to tell me NO, that I could not get an exchange, because my tickets had been purchased more than the 72 hour exchange policy they post. To my great surprise, I was advised that due to my extenuating circumstances, I would certainly be able to exchange the tickets for a different date, and if I needed, they would refund. This was a great surprise to me, and I really appreciate the people who are operating Ticketmaster because they care about the customer more than their profit bottom line. This is a rarity that you see these days. Thank you Ticketmaster for having a moral compass!!!

I would like to know how Ticketmaster are legally allowed to scalp their own tickets via their Resale site? Today I purchased tickets to a concert via a pre-sale code. I was lucky - but my friends were not. They missed out as the allocation was quickly used up. My complaint isn't there, it's that within three minutes of the tickets being available I found four up for sale on Ticketmaster Resale for approx 280% of retail value each. This is not what Ticketmaster advertise this site is for. It is proposed to be a legal place to sell your tickets if you can't make it etc. But it is clearly being used by scalpers to make cash. Would the same transaction outside the front of the venue be legal?

What's the point of the nav bar? The website is awful. They don't tell you that they won't allow you to print your ticket (my ticket) without installing the mobile app. In other words, they are trying to force me to install their mobile app by holding my tickets hostage. Customer support agreed, only their whole mantra is, "You didn't read the fine print, so it's on you." I will not be forced to install an app to receive a thing that I purchased.

I waited impatiently for the timer to hit 0 at 12 pm and immediately clicked for my tickets. The site gave me an error 5 times in a row before finally coming back with "No Tickets available". When I called to customer service, they bounced me around basically telling me that ticketmaster is not responsible for the errors on their own website, and that they will do nothing to help me get the tickets I was promised by them. To that, I take home that Ticketmaster does not care for their customers, and you're better off buying from someone else who will be responsible for their own site errors.

I really wish I had read through these reviews before purchasing tickets. Ticketmaster is such a scam. I have never purchased tickets from there before but have learned a lesson the hard way. Bought tickets for Paw Patrol in NYC, thinking they were VIP. I clearly filtered my search first by checking the VIP option. The only tickets That came up said resale which I never thought twice about being a first-time buyer. I bought the tickets for a hefty price thinking I was getting to meet cast afterwards. Well, when I printed out tickets nothing said VIP so I called Ticketmaster and they said I was in VIP section but because tickets were purchased resale I was not entitled to any VIP amenities (meet and greet and after party).
Seriously, I could have gone away on a mini vacation with my family for the price I paid. I hope someone reads this first. Do not buy resale tickets for Paw Patrol in VIP section because you are only paying for seats and nothing extra! They then contacted me several days after the event and apologized that there was nothing that they could do since the event had passed.
I was able to prove that I attempted to reach out as soon as I was notified about the obstructed view, which was a week before the event. They still said there was nothing that they could do. Not only could they not offer me any sort of discount or incentive to make up for any of the inconvenience, they offered no form of assistance whatsoever. Quite the opposite, actually. Every reply they came back with was that they had confirmed something that was, in fact, INCORRECT. I was able to prove differently, therefore their rebuttal was simply that there was nothing they could do. Very frustrating! Zero customer service!

I found a Live Nation pre-sale password for King Crimson at Massey Hall, Toronto and took the day off work to assure I'd get a decent pair of seats. Or so I thought. I Sat refreshing the screen for most of the day, watching each pair of prime, clicked-upon seats I reserved on the venue map disappear as the software refused to complete every transaction. (FYI: I have every combination of CAPTCHA verification images memorized now after viewing them multiple times throughout the day). Even "Find Seats for Me" without the map would not complete the requests.
By mid-afternoon I gave up refreshing and ordered by phone. Ticketmaster's voice recognition robot (not a human being as I'd hoped) offered me seats that were as far away from the band as you could get without actually standing outside the venue. Ticketmaster's antiquated software obviously can't handle the onslaught of scalper-bots for even an obscure, non-mainstream band like Crimson. "Limiting" tickets to 8 per buyer is a joke! The scalper-bots obviously scooped them up by the fistful and they started to appear online at StubHub within the first hour of sale for 2-5 times face value. I guess when you have a monopoly and a backroom deal with a resale service, you really don't have to give a damn. BUT: This has to stop.
Limit sales to pairs of seats, period. (At least it will make life difficult for professional resellers.) Update the pathetically inadequate, antiquated software to handle demand. Hire real human beings to answer the phone. Purchasers can only pick up tickets on the day of the event at the venue box office with ID proof that they are the purchaser. How difficult is that to allow true fans the opportunity to see their band or team at the fair retail price? Ticketmaster has successfully killed my desire to even attempt buying concert tickets again, and this is from someone who has been attending concerts since 1972. Nice job.

I had been looking forward to placing a presale order for Ed Sheeran tickets since last Wednesday (today is Monday). I signed on with my presale code and was all logged in a half hour prior to the event even starting, and I watched the timer clock countdown with bated breath. Finally it was time to purchase my tickets. I had resigned myself to buying the first set of tickets that came up, no matter where the seats were because I wanted to go that badly. I chose my section, input my credit card information, and waited for my confirmation page. The next screen was a blank white screen, save for the "By proceeding, you accept our terms and conditions" at the bottom of the page. There were, of course, no buttons to proceed, however the title of the page in the URL clearly said "Confirmation Page." I never received an email confirming my order, and it didn't show up in my account.
I tried just placing another order but, of course, now the pre-sale tickets were all sold out - in less than five minutes. I gave it a few minutes, figuring there might have been a delay, especially considering the craziness that probably accompanies an Ed Sheeran pre-sale, but after a half hour of double-checking, I decided to call. After over a half hour of waiting on hold, someone finally answered. She double-checked my credit card number that I used to place the order, the phone number I used for the order, and my email address. Nothing pulled up any orders of any sort. My card was never charged - there was never even an authorization submitted to request the charge from my credit card company.
And, on top of all of that, the customer service rep said that maybe it was my fault, that I had too many tabs open (four), that I input the card number wrong (nope), or that there were just too many people placing an order at the same time (shouldn't you be holding my seats and section for me specifically?). The best she could suggest was that I try again with the general public sale at the end of the week. Great. Crappier tickets for double the price. I had heard that Ticketmaster went down the toilet since that class-action lawsuit was won against them, but this just confirms it. This was supposed to be a gift for my birthday from my husband, and now all it is is a disappointment. Thanks for nothing, Ticketmaster.

The extra charges endorsed by Ticketmaster are nothing short of greed. The ticket will cost £155 plus £15 booking fee. It doesn't cost £15 to process a ticket so as my partner won’t be able to stand I am not paying this rip-off ticket handling charge (£30 for processing two tickets). I just received my tickets today (3 days before the event) and they were NOT the seats I ordered, they are on the side. I specifically wanted front facing seats. I paid $70.00 per ticket for $48.50 seats plus $40.60 service fee, and $14.95 for delivery to Secure Tix. So if they didn't pay the seller, they collected $83.60 plus $14.95 shipping from me on $48 tickets, what a scam. I paid almost $200 for $48 tickets. Boatloads of resale tickets are available however, listed screen left, on the Ticketmaster website. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office. I received standing. T/LN responded with the usual BS. Their response avoids the issue of scalping resales altogether.
What we need is a citizens' movement blocking public funding for the venues that these events are being held in. If the public is called upon to guarantee bonds, pay for the necessary infrastructure and finally suffer the traffic inconvenience that building or remodeling stadiums entails, then the people deserve an orderly and honest system of purchasing the tickets necessary for attendance. Further, the voting public is entitled to a political class that aggressively follows up on complaints of obvious end runs around anti-scalping laws.

Tickets went on sale at 10 am sharp and I found myself at my computer at exactly that time feverishly selecting sections on the arena map hoping to get a pair of tickets for this hyped show. As time passed Ticketmaster said that other fans had beat me to tickets in that section and I quickly moved on to the next section again searching for a pair of the "best available" seats in that section. That was a mistake. As it turns out when I finally did get seats, 3 instead of 2 as I had requested, they were over $500 a seat. With Ticketmaster's additional $84 fee per seat my bill was in excess of $1600. Wow.
Ticketmaster has a policy that they will refund your purchase price for your tickets within 72 hours of your initial purchase which I did try to do later that evening. After being on hold in excess of 30 minutes the rather rude person on the other end of the phone informed me that I had purchased "resale" tickets and that their refund policy did not apply to resale tickets. I asked him how it was possible to purchase resale tickets within the first ten minutes of ticket sales. Who could possibly buy tickets in the first 5 minutes and then put them back up for resale at double the price so some unsuspecting sucker (me) would purchase them. The whole thing smacks me in the face with an undercurrent of dishonesty and corruption. What a monopoly scam this company is.
Please be wary when purchasing anything from this company and most certainly never ever select "best available seat" when ordering tickets. In fact I have found resale tickets on this site at a fraction of the cost that I paid for my "best available seats" that I scooped up during the frenzy of my initial purchase. I attributed this issue to not being on an actual computer. I then tried to purchase tickets from my work computer and still was unable to do so. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes to speak to a representative, I purchased tickets on December 27, 2016 for my 10th Anniversary on January 19, 2017. I chose to have my tickets delivered to me through an email so that I could print the tickets and present them to my husband as his gift. The day before my anniversary I went to the email that I believed contained my tickets and found that there was nothing attached.
I called them again to try and get them to send me an email with the tickets attached. The representative told me that my tickets would be sent to me through an attachment on the January 19, 2017. Therefore I was unable to present the tickets to my husband on the day of our anniversary and still was unable to present them to him on the 19th because the tickets would not be released until exactly 48 hours prior to the event. This is unacceptable because I have purchased tickets through other websites that sent me my tickets immediately and I was able to print them immediately. I am unable to print them from my home because I will not be home when the tickets supposedly get to me.
I will say that the customer service representative that I yelled at on January 19th remained very calm and offered to have my tickets issued to me at Will Call free of charge and supposedly refunded me $35 which I am assuming were the fees associated with purchasing the tickets with them. We will see if those tickets are at Will Call or if I ever receive the refund. That's rich, given that is exactly what Ticketmaster did to sell me the tickets.
Also, the website allows me to transfer or sell the tickets, which means I could "scalp" them, but I cannot print them until just before the event. I will be out of town to see the event, and thus it will be difficult to print them out just before the event. The rep just kept repeating nonsensical statements about how all of this was for my benefit. Shameful, but it's a company that doesn't care, and has no shame.

Christmas time 2016, we flew to Las Vegas. On the 28th of Dec. 2016, We bought 5 tickets for Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas. The tickets are listed for the night show of 29th Dec. 2016, we chose for eTicket delivery. Yet no eTickets were delivered. In the afternoon of 29th, I logged onto the Ticketmaster website trying to print my tickets. However it listed as past event and as a result I could not print out any tickets. I called Ticketmaster. After nearly one hour phone call, I was told the event agency communicated the wrong timing information and as a result it was listed as past, even though at the time of the phone call, the event is actually still ongoing, however Ticketmaster was not able to re-list it as on-going because of technical reasons. I was promised to get a refund.
On the 4th of Jan. 2017, I called Ticketmaster and was told they have sent a refund request to the event agency and cannot guarantee to refund me. On the 6th of Jan 2017, I again called Ticketmaster (after one corporate person left a message). The person was very impatient and condescending and did not appear to be aware of anything regarding this matter. She stated the ticket was valid for a year (which is completely not true). I spent another half hour on the phone explaining the whole situation.
In short, this is what went wrong with Ticketmaster: 1) Bad/no communication. There is no email sent after the purchase, no email acknowledging any of the communications/phone calls; There seems to be a lack of internal communication too. As a result, I have to explain the whole situation each time; the communication between Ticketmaster and the various agencies on whose behalf ticket master sells ticket is also very flawed, which caused the situation. 2) Denial of the multiple mistakes on their side. Each time, somebody would blame someone else, the agency, the customer... 3) Refusal/Reluctance of refund. Because of the various mistakes Ticketmaster makes, not only did I not get to go the event as planned, but I also had to spend hours on the phone trying to get a refund.
As of now, I have still yet to hear from Ticketmaster as for the refund request. As of our Vegas experience, we had to scrap our plan for that night after spending our precious time on the phone with Ticketmaster representative. Conclusion: Never use Ticketmaster again. You may spend money on tickets that Ticketmaster have no accurate information about and you will have to spend hours trying to get your money back for an event you cannot even go to.

You are only able to see the seat information AFTER you put in your credit card information. Totally deceitful, unfair and unreasonable and said their resale tickets are posted by private and confidential owners and so I asked them to contact directly since I purchased from their website and they should assist or guarantee the satisfaction of the purchase. They would not even attempt to contact them to explain the situation and move our tickets only 4 seats down.

In a perfect example of no good deed going unpunished, I tried to buy five tickets for my out-of-state family to attend the Alamo Bowl this year. I'm not going to attend, but I wanted them to have great seats near other fans of our team. The online "map" to buy tickets was pretty wonky and kept stalling, so I downloaded and used the App for my phone. I found a great set of seats, all sitting together in the upper club section (perfect for my 78-year-old mother). Going back and forth between my computer and the App, I confirmed that these seats were the best deal I could find and would put my family squarely on the PAC-12 side of the field (our team side). The "map" on my laptop was horrible at updating, so I chose to buy the tickets on the App.
Important note: at no time did I ever click (to open) on any section of seats on the other side of the field or stadium: why would I? That's where the BIG-12 side of the field is. Ok. So I selected the club level seats on our side (clicked on the correct seats in that section), and reviewed the price (and "service charge") and purchased them! Great. I was so happy. I sent my family the good news. We were all thrilled - for 2 minutes. When I received the confirmation email, the section where the seats were was completely different from where I had been looking - and right in the middle of the BIG-12 side of the field. I IMMEDIATELY called Ticketmaster, assuming they could just cancel the transaction (as it had only been a few minutes), and I could repurchase the tickets I thought I was purchasing.
Apparently, that is impossible! In order to achieve such a reasonable result, I would have to prove that their computer system made a mistake and not me. (Interesting shift of the burden of proof.) I demanded to talk to a supervisor, who discussed the matter with me and told me he would call me back when he got a "report" from the system on my transaction. I insisted that he call me back within the hour so I could deal with the transaction with my credit card company if I needed to. (All of this was after an hour on the phone and being on-hold in between being transferred around.) While I waited, I called my credit card company to discuss my options, as clearly this was not what I intended to purchase. (Short version: I can dispute the charge, but that will take 30 days, and the tickets are for an event in 14 days.)
So. The Ticketmaster "supervisor" did not CALL back. Instead, he somehow "sent" a voicemail (which never rang on my phone) saying that the "report" indicated that I had always been in the section in which the tickets I received are located. If I want to discuss the matter, please call back - to the main, root line - not even to his extension or department. Fascinating, considering that I never opened that section, or even that side of the stadium. Why would I? If their App is so touchy as to create that possibility (without me having any idea that was what was going on), perhaps the problem is with their system. This thought reminded me of the first question I was asked by "customer service": did you see an error message or have a problem with your order? Funny. You'd have thought they might have debugged that system before setting it in motion with real money and consequences.
$817 worth of tickets. My Christmas present to my out-of-state family members! To be clear, I am not a computer neophyte: I spent the first part of my career developing and writing computer software/code, so I understand how to move around a screen and properly point-and-click - complicated as that might be with an App (website) like this one. Oh. The "supervisor" also mentioned (on the unreturnable voicemail) that maybe I can re-sell the wrong tickets to someone else on the site. So. I looked into that. Funny thing about that: once you "own" the tickets, Ticketmaster charges you an additional "service" charge to sell them, which gets added onto the ticket price, ensuring that the price for YOUR tickets are now more than other tickets in the same area (unless you choose to take a substantial loss on your "sale" price). This is assuming anyone buys the tickets in an area that is not optimal viewing.
Mind you, this is - apparently - the ONLY way to buy tickets for this event, which is why the company does not seem to care one iota about the slew of horrible reviews on sites like Yelp. I'll make sure to reiterate my experience on as many review sites as I can find. Apparently, that is my only recourse. Now, unless I find another sucker to buy my tickets, my family will now be standing in row 11 of the end-zone, in the midst of the other teams fans during the bowl game they have been waiting 10 long years (yes, we are CU fans!) to see, when they should have had a wonderful view from the Club Level on our side of the field. Welcome to modern capitalism. I did not attempt to do this on the cheap. I paid full price, and I got fully screwed!

DO NOT PURCHASE RESALE TICKETS FROM Ticketmaster!!! I just bought two tickets to the Dierks Bentley concert for my wife on February 3rd, 2017 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta at an (unknowingly) over inflated price! After realizing this, I looked up their refund policy on their website which said 72 hours (so I thought)... I called Ticketmaster for a refund. After spending two hours on the phone with them, I am forced to take the hit for double what they are worth!!!
Their excuse is that the tickets are non-refundable because they are seller to seller... My only option is to relist the tickets on THEIR website in hopes that someone will purchase them... Here's the kicker... When the person before me listed them, they (Ticketmaster) added an extra amount per ticket for their "fees"... When I relisted them, they also added a $70 fee PER TICKET... So now they are making $140 plus what they charged the person before me off of the AUTOMATED transactions from their website... Seller to seller yet they have made probably $140 off the person I ended up buying them from, and another $140 off me... Crooks!!! No empathy whatsoever from them... If you are in the market for any tickets to an event, DO NOT use Ticketmaster resale!!! You are better off going with StubHub Canada... At least they are transparent with their prices and policies and won't bend you over...

On top of the $50 mark up there was a ridiculous $130 service fee (who knows what that's for). In the end I essentially got ripped off for over $250. Had I known they are able to mark up resold tickets as well as charge you a bogus service fee, I would have avoided Ticketmaster all together. I have recently purchased tickets and contacted Ticketmaster immediately afterwards in order to change the tickets for the following day (December 10th). Ever since, I am in contact with Customer Care: they are telling me that the tickets were exchanged and that I have access to them. As of yesterday, they are telling me that I had actually printed the, But there was never any print option, except for the receipt. Here is Customer Care's response: "Thank you for reaching out to us. Glad to assist you today! Sorry to hear of your troubles with printing your exchanged tickets. We checked your account and order, we see that you were finally able to print on November 11, 2016. We hope you enjoy the show." Here is my response to it: "I am sorry, but where did you see that I could print any tickets on November 11th???" I COULDN'T!!!
Again, I am attaching screenshots just taken now. Please look at them carefully. There is ONLY a "print receipt" option when I log into the www ticketmaster webpage. No "print tickets" option anywhere to be found. And, again, if I am using the app (please look at the first screenshot) on my phone: the ticket order has been canceled by you and not exchanged. I give you one more shot at fixing this, then I will have to cancel these virtual tickets that are not accessible to me, and hence worthless to me."

First they tell me that they don't do that, then she said it's there ready to print. They told me I could pay again and get pass which I wouldn't do because already paid. Then they asked for order number and when I gave it, the next email from them said I gave wrong number, which I reviewed my email and had given correct number. Many back and forth emails stating different information every time.
You'd think a lucrative company would just issue the pass especially since I paid almost $200. They offended me, talked down to me and each email from different employees gave information that contradict the prior one. This company must've gotten too big since they have so many bad reviews. Someone high up needs to see what's happening in customer service. I mean just look at how many people they've done wrong. I will never use them again. I'll even pay extra if I have to. I have a lot of money so it's not about the ten bucks, it's the principle. I have string of emails should management needs them.

I'm gonna try to keep this short and to the point. This is probably the only review I've ever written and that speaks volumes about how bad my experience was with this organization. To start, I purchased a vip ticket for 125 dollars thinking it was for meet and greet with Korn. I have never used Ticketmaster before and their website is misleading in the product description. Upon calling the day of the concert to inquire about what I was entitled to, I was informed that I had VIP for early entry only. This was useless to me as I couldn't enter early as I had plans with other friends. I called Ticketmaster to try and switch my ticket, granted I had purchased the insurance for my ticket and thought this would be no big deal. I was wrong. I was transferred about 3 times from Ticketmaster to insurance and back. Insurance would take 10 days to get my money back and the regular pit tickets were sold out so I was basically told I was SOL.
The service representative was extremely rude and placed me on hold for 20 min for no reason just to come back on the phone and tell me her system was down, to which she transferred me back to the automated system. (She did all this after I asked for her employee ID and name.) So after being frustrated, I tried to look for the good. I had tickets and at least I would get a free t-shirt or so I thought. A t-shirt was a part of my package, but when I showed up at 8 for the concert, I found out the vendor had already packed up and left. I went ahead to enjoy the concert thinking that I could call and explain things to Ticketmaster and they would make things right. Wrong again. They were pretty much telling me that shirts are first come first serve (even though they are a part of my package) and gave me other numbers to call.
This ends my transactions with Ticketmaster. I have never been more frustrated with a business in my life. I will never use this service again and will make it my personal goal to make sure others don't get screwed over the way I did. I paid 125 dollars for the same thing my friends got at 60 a piece. Oh, and in case you're wondering, my t-shirt issue has still not been resolved.

Way to crush dreams Ticketmaster. We bought what we thought was a platinum package which your website described as "meet and greet, lanyard, private song and cassette tapes with upper deck seating". We paid our $319 and thought that was that, back in June. We went to will call at #myrtlebeachouseofblues for the show yesterday to pick up our VIP passes with my vinyl in hand and a wedding card for some good friends whose friendship was founded on this band to be signed. Ready to meet Claudio Sanchez and the rest of the band after months of anticipation. I've been waiting for YEARS for this dream to come true. Listening to this band since 2005, dreaming of one day meeting them just to get told you sold us just "pew seating" platinum tickets. That we did not get the meet and greet, that we basically paid $319 for a bench seat... a bench seat? General admission was $60 for two.
When I called customer service understandably upset, I was talked to like a five year old by a rude man. He treated us like we made the mistake. This happened to 3 other groups in line with us, and later in the show met 4 more groups this happened to. How could this be "user error"? How can this mistake happen and ruin so many peoples' nights? After getting the run around I finally got a "manager" who would only give me the name "Joe" who said he would refund us our tickets but wouldn't give us a confirmation email or number, no proof he refunded these tickets and told me to wait for 7 to 10 days. With my previous experience with your company, you can understand my fear of not being refunded. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. We will never be going through Ticketmaster again, and will continue to tell people of our experience as I'm sure all the other couples you did this to will as well.

This is going to be long so bear with me. I went online at 10am to get 3 tickets for a pre sale. I tried 3 times to order them and every time I would try to process my order I would get an error message about not being able to contact the server. I tried to call but could not get a person to talk to due to high call volume. After 30 minutes of this ridiculousness, I broke down and used the automated ticket line and paid for tickets that were not as good as the ones I SHOULD have been able to buy on the website. I emailed them that night to tell them about my experience and was told I could exchange them if I found better ones when they went on sale to the general public.
Fast forward 2 days later, I go to the website at 10am for the general public sale and snag fifth row seats! Try to call to do the exchange but again high call volume and it just tells me to call back later. So I buy the tickets so I don't lose them. The next morning I finally get to talk to a real person and explain that I do not want the tickets. I had to get through the automated system and I would like those refunded. First was told no refunds and I should have called to see if better seats were available even though it was impossible to get a live person so I don't know how I would have done that. He finally says he will reach out to the venue and ask for my original tickets to be refunded and I would keep the fifth row.
I used a different payment method for each order because the Ticketmaster site would not accept my MasterCard stating there were not sufficient funds even though there was $5,000 available. So identifying which order needed refunded should have been easy and I verified it with the customer service rep twice. I check my credit card statement today and notice it has not been refunded. I call Ticketmaster again only to find out they refunded my debit card for my fifth row tickets that I wanted to keep and voided that order, leaving me with the original, not-as-desirable tickets.

Ticketmaster won't refund my purchase price and they make it impossible to resell the tickets. They cannot be transferred through my account.
The only way they can be sold is if I e-mail or snail mail the PDF files which is a security / fraud issue for the potential buyer. To make matters worse they said they won't refund my purchase price because I could sell them on their other site, ticketsnow.com. They told me to go on ticketsnow.com and list the tickets. When I go through the self check-out in the grocery store, I don't get charged extra fees to do the work.

I bought a ticket to the Janet Jackson concert last year when I moved to Washington. Of course when she announced that she was cancelling the rest of her tour, I contacted Ticketmaster for a refund. The problem is that since purchasing the ticket, I had closed my account with the bank that I used at the time of purchase. They told me that their policy is to refund to an account whether it's closed or still open and they have to receive the funds back from the institution in order for them to send me a check. On May 6, 2016, they said that they processed the refund. I've talked to the bank several times and they have stated that number 1 they have no way of tracking when funds are received for a closed account. If they receive funds and the account is closed they send them back. They have no way of holding on to funds that don't go into an account and they can't deposit into a closed account.
Also, they stated that they would never just mail the funds to the person because they have to verify that the person is still at the same address. If the account is closed they have no way of contacting the person. They're not going to do investigative work to find for an account that doesn't exist with them anymore. Ticketmaster keeps telling me that they can't help me and this is their policy. I even said at this point I'll just take a credit on my account that way it's not about them giving me cash back. I paid for a service I didn't get, so I want to at least be able to use the $89.09.

Purchase tickets for Guns & Roses final show at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego. Chose seats in Row A because front row seats are always best. Drove 2+ hours from LA to SD, get inside with no problem then get to usher for the section who says "I've worked here 20 yrs. There has never been Row A". Due to Guest Services office being closed nobody that worked for the venue knew what to do or offer any kind of help. We were told to sit in any open seat, only to be kicked out every few minutes when the actual ticket holder showed up. After about 1 hour of looking for help then musical chairs we had to find places to stand or miss the entire concert. By 11 pm we were simply exhausted from walking, carry our food and beverages, standing in walkways to catch bits of G n R.
On the way out my friend got angry at a event staff member who said this eticket says "Ticketmaster Guarantees entrance to this event (as if it's all general admission seating)". Literally could not imagine the night getting any worse when we left Qualcomm stadium early. However on the drive back to LA that is normally 2 hours the freeway was down to 1 lane for 30 miles. We didn't mind driving, don't blame anyone for the things outside the event but when you purchase your seats from Ticketmaster you expect someone to find you a seat if your ticketed one is not available.

Honestly, if you are going to sell a seat to a concert for $120 for a Bruce concert at Met Life Stadium, it would be nice to know in advance that a huge speaker would be directly in front of your face thus obstructing the view of the stage. Every other venue ALWAYS tells me if there is any type of obstruction, but not Ticketmaster. DO NOT sit in section 128 anywhere above row 10, or you will be staring at a tower with a huge speaker on top.

Ticketmaster had the same seats in the same section available that were previously marked as Meet and Greet VIP now as "Standard Ticket" and the price jumped again. When I got to the show there was no Meet and Greet with the Band at all. Ticketmaster are liars and just out to steal your money any way they can. I purchased seats to the Coldplay concert at Soldier Field in the VIP section based on the original posted seating chart online. Our seats were in a small section between the main stage, catwalk and backstage so we could see the band from all directions. Pretty sweet tickets, so we thought. Three weeks before the concert our seats dramatically changed. The Ticketmaster site states venue layout can vary or change before a concert; however, Ticketmaster does not disclose that there is a high probability for seat layouts to significantly change; therefore, the original concert experience purchased may become null and void. I paid $495 per each ticket and because they were in the VIP section they could not be exchanged or re-sold. Some VIP treatment!
The venue removed the catwalk and stage and added a hundred plus seats creating a very cramped floor space. I called Ticketmaster three times before the concert to try and get another seating assignment as I saw that they were now selling better tickets next to the stage for the same price I paid months ago. No one ever followed up like they said they would. I spoke to a person at will call on the concert day, but they told me there weren't any other seats available. A Ticketmaster rep told me that some people completely lost their seats because of the stage change and would not get seat assignments until the day of the concert! As can be expected our concert experience did not work out as well as planned and I feel like we were scammed at the mercy of Ticketmaster due the popularity of Coldplay.

How Ticketmaster scammed me for $1060.02. Beware when you purchase any ticket through these thieves. It all started when my wife wanted to see Andrea Bocelli on June 4th at the San Jose SAP center. So we asked our married children who live in the SF Bay Area if they wanted to attend with us. We live in San Diego and when heard back from our children and spouses that Sat June 4th would work I went ahead and went to the Ticketmaster site to buy 6 tickets together. It was my first time buying tickets from them and ran a search for 6 tickets together and I wanted them to be under $200 ea.
The search came up with 6 Tickets and I contracted, paid for and downloaded these tickets from Ticketmaster and when I printed them out they were marked as resale tickets. Ok, so I printed out the 4 pages of Ticketmaster terms and conditions from their site and had an understanding of the terms. I went ahead and made flight arrangements and my children and their spouses also calendar Sat June 4th for this wonderful event together. Last Friday at 8:15 PM I get an email from Ticketmaster that because the Sharks need the SAP Center for June 4th my Andrea Bocelli concert was cancelled and rescheduled for tonight Friday June 3rd. This cancellation and rescheduling made it impossible for any of the 6 in our party to make this event so I called Ticketmaster at 8:30 PM last Friday to request a refund of the cost of the 6 tickets at $1060.02.
Ticketmaster has refused to issue a refund and I gave called them at least 8 times since last Friday and have spoken to no less than 6 people who refuse to offer any customer service and deny their own listed terms and conditions. Their only response was to give the tickets away or list them on their site for resale but since Friday of last week 1000's of tickets were added to their inventory and they even released and lowered the prices of seats.
In no uncertain terms their policy clearly states that if an event is cancelled or rescheduled, then a fan to fan resale ticket is refundable to the buyer who's requesting that refund. Ticketmaster is a fraud and uses their rude and unprofessional customer service people to rip off and legally steal from consumers. I'm out $1060.02 because Ticketmaster will not live up to their own posted policies. There is more and I'm ready to share this travesty with the world and if Ticketmaster has done this to you also I'd like to know. BEWARE IN ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY.

The manager came on the line. The connection got very bad and I couldn't understand what she was saying. But she didn't want to call me back because she could hear me. I had to insist repeatedly that she call me back so that I could understand her. So she finally did. She said there would be no refund and that I can't use the gift card on the presale tickets. Beware when buying tickets from Ticketmaster. If the show doesn't sell out immediately it could be subjected to something called "dynamic pricing," which mean they keep lowering the price to attract new buyers. It's a marketing strategy but you'll really get screwed if you buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. I bought tickets to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl for $375 each. Bit of a splurge but I was okay with that. After fees I paid $823.65 for the pair. This concert was added "by popular demand" after two earlier shows practically sold out. Ticket sales for this new show appeared to be slow & within just a few days the prices were slashed by about $100.
As I write this, just two weeks after I bought tickets (and a full month before the show) the same seats I bought for $375 each are now $185. Who knows they may go even lower. So if I waited a week or two, after fees I could have spent $408.80 on the pair instead of $823.65. That's a difference of about $415. Ticketmaster says they implemented dynamic pricing so they can determine the actual value of tickets. Well, the value appears to be $185, at most. Yet I was charged $375. I feel like I was totally overcharged.
I contacted them via Twitter, email & phone. I asked politely for some sort of partial refund or credit since I assumed a full refund was out of the question. They were very unsympathetic & kept shooting down my requests, despite the fact that I'm a good customer & have spent thousands of dollars in other Ticketmaster shows this year alone. One agent I talked to was rather condescending, saying they value their contract with the Disney company more than they do my business. I get that, but it was said in such a blunt, almost arrogant way. I was so turned off. I've previously never heard of this dynamic pricing scheme & from now on I'm going to be very weary of it. Unless the show you want to go to is guaranteed to sell out I suggest waiting on buying those tickets especially if it's a high price tag.

I purchased 3 tickets in February for the Shinedown concert in May at the Prairie Capital Conventional Center in Springfield. When I purchased the tickets, I used my debit card to pay for the tickets. No problem whatsoever. I put 2 tickets up for sale and eventually they sell. I put my debit card information in as well as my checking account information so I could get paid for the tickets I sold. From the time the tickets were sold I've received 5 or 6 emails saying that my debit card can't be verified. I called TM each time and like everyone else had to wait for more than a half an hour before I was able to speak to anyone. 3 of the 4 times I called I was told to erase all my information and put it back in. So I did that and I'll be damned if I didn't get another email saying they couldn't verify my debit card.
So I called again... I waited the normal 30 minutes and was told that my account would be sent to someone else, I would be called back within 24 hours, and that the money owed for selling the tickets may be forced into my checking account. I never got the phone call so I called back again. The normal 30 minute wait and finally talked to someone and I was told that it was put on my account that the wrong information was entered. I argued with the gentleman for a good 20 minutes and then he tells me that I have to call my bank and find out why the 2 deposits needed to verify my account aren't posted... and this is after being told for 2 weeks that all the information has been entered correctly.
So to make a long story short... TM has no problem accepting my debit card as payment but they sure have a difficult time refunding the money owed to me for tickets I've sold. Yeah $80 isn't a lot of money but it's simply the principle. TM is a shady poor excuse for a company and it's absolute BS that I have to fight with multiple people who can't get their damn stories straight. I want my money and come hell or high water I will get it and if I don't ** will hit the fan.

Avoid Ticketmaster at all costs. Purchased tickets for specific seats to the Penn & Teller show in Las Vegas. Upon arrival at the show we were directed to seats totally opposite to the ones I had picked. I complained to the usher, but he insisted these were the seats shown on my tickets. The seats were directly in front of the jazz musician who played throughout the show. We could not hear Teller or maybe it was Penn because one doesn't speak at all, over that piano throughout the entire show. There are numerous complaints about this company and they should be shut down.

For months we have been getting emails for a Rod Stewart at the Sands in Bethlehem, PA. We received emails with a pre-sale code to get advanced tickets. This code never worked, not even when we were only seconds after the sale started. By the time the General Admission tickets went on sale (again, we were online exactly when they went on sale), there were none left. The Sands, Rod Stewart, and Ticketmaster seem to only want to have events for select groups and ticket scalpers. Ticketmaster is a monopoly that should be disbanded and Rod Stewart, the Sands, and all other entertainers need to stop enabling them.

I put tickets for re-sale in their new re-selling platform. It looked just like TicketLiquidator and StubHub so I gave it a shot. As the seller, they charge you a very huge percentage for the service - fine, I understand that's part of ensuring all parties are protected and circumstances prevent me from going to this event anymore so I don't mind taking a hit and selling for less than I bought them for. After months of my ticket not selling, I put the tickets in a different website as well to see which one would get me results. I was notified they sold on the other website and that very second I went to Ticketmaster to cancel the listing - except it said my tickets had been sold.
Ticketmaster failed to notify me of this: I checked my email inbox, spam folder, trash bin and found nothing. Tried to see the transaction and was not even allowed to see when they sold or for how much. Concerned about this, I got a hold of a customer service representative who told me that it was too late - they cannot help me with the issue as it was out of their hands and they were sorry I was not notified of the transaction but I was going to have to tell the other people who bought the tickets of the situation and come to an agreement with THEM.
Why charge me so much money for re-selling if they're not even going to provide services to help, at this point I am willing to do anything - people have duplicate tickets and I want to fix it but they refused to provide options. They pretty much accepted that a client that bought tickets through their site could arrive at the event and be turned away, unless I did something on my side because they weren't going to do anything with this information.
I went to the other ticket reselling site I used and explained the situation. They said it was no problem; the transaction would be voided and that I would just have to pay a small fee since the buyer was going to have to get replacement tickets. Needless to say I will not use Ticketmaster to sell tickets again and don't recommend anyone to do it either. Please go to a website that specifically specializes in ticket reselling as they will protect both the buyer and seller from potential seller error before the event date. Ticket reselling system did not contact me of the re-sold ticket. Additionally, I cannot even access the transaction online. Ticketmaster will not help track down the transaction as I do not possess these tickets anymore, I was not aware of the sale and sold my tickets elsewhere. They will not assist with the problem.

This website is severely flawed. The amount of times I go on it to purchase tickets and then I go through all the steps for there to be a "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again" error message is mind-boggling. Then when you go back to re-do, you have to match all the pictures again to make sure you're not a robot. Then you finally get back to the find tickets portion and sure enough, seats are nowhere near as good as when you first confirmed. EVERY TIME!!! I HATE TICKETMASTER.

I ordered tickets (camping) for a show at the Gorge Amphitheater for 2016 Sasquatch Festival. I received an e-mail to "verify my address" for shipping. I wrote back and also called asking them the method I was going to receive the tickets and tried to explain to them that the way in which they were going be shipped determined which way that I would answer - we do not get mail delivered to our local addresses and are required to use a PO Box (different complaint about how lazy our postal workers are), if it is coming UPS we use our physical address.
I have copies of multiple e-mail asking for clarification from March 28, 2016 through March 30, 2016 - with the last one saying "UPS" from "D'Risen". This doesn't included the multiple calls weekly to verify this. I have heard SO MANY EXCUSES such as "there is a delay" to "we don't ship them" to "we have no idea." Yet I received my wristbands via USPS with a notification in the envelope that says "you will receive TWO packages..." So now my calls are daily BUT still no response. I purchased four tickets for the June 26th, 2016 Reggae Event with Burning Spear. The tickets I received did not have the row I had selected. When I did the order, I specifically chose Section M1, Row 2 and seats 1-3-5-7. I have been to the Hollywood Bowl many times in the past so I know the seating arrangement. I wanted to be as close to center (Section M1 or N1) and be as close to the stage as possible. I know exactly what I ordered! I received the tickets and lo and behold, I get the right section and the right seats but I'm now in row 18! How does that happen? I spent good money for those seats plus an extra $7 for each ticket for a service charge?! So, I call Ticketmaster to ask what happened. I'm on my cell and have to go through the automated system and then, wait for over a half an hour, listening to the same old songs over and over again.
When a young man finally answers and I explain the issue, and all he does is apologize and spins the issue as though it was my fault! I know what I ordered and I did not get the row I asked for. He offered no compensation, no exchange for better seats, and to make things worse, he tells me there is no refund! How in the world does a business like that stay in business? So, it turns out that it's my fault and tough luck buddy. I planned to give two tickets to Larry White, the pianist for the Sandpipers (a 60's/70's band) and a renown song writer who was up for a Grammy recently. I boasted about the location of our seats and planned on giving him the tickets tonight. But when I saw the 18th row, there was no way I could do that to him, as it was a birthday gift I promised him.
I had to go to Vivid to purchase four new tickets at a higher cost but received Row 1 as a courtesy after that young man heard my story. Those tickets are refundable, can be exchanged and I didn't have to go through a machine for a long period of time before someone answered. He answered immediately and was outstanding in his effort to assist me. I will never buy nor recommend Ticketmaster to anyone. Shameful way to do business. File your complaint with the BBB as well. Let the whole world know not to get burned by Ticketmaster. Incidentally, I did received an email from their main office. He did absolutely nothing!
I got an insincere apology and got mocked by him telling me to "Enjoy the event". Please, save yourselves the anguish and frustration and stay away from Ticketmaster. This is far from over, I plan to publish and push the envelope against these rip off artists. That's right David, it's going on every internet site I can find and to the media as I push my agenda to get justice. Blaming me, the Hollywood Bowl and spinning the fault that is yours doesn't cut it. You sold the tickets, it's your responsibility to make it right! Your apology is worthless with action.

After a ten minute hold it finally gave me tickets, which were not great, but I took them anyway. When I went to print my receipt I noticed the time had changed from 7pm to 1030pm! Contacted TM through chat, they said that due to high demand shows had been added and that the system was offering me the best seats it could find. He claimed that there was box that should have come up alerting me to the fact the tickets were for a different date (time) and that I clicked continue.
I NEVER saw any such box, I was completely shocked that they were for a different time. I am questioning whether a performer can do two shows a night and still give a quality performance but I decided to keep the tickets anyway. They did offer to refund me the tickets BUT I would have had to go back into the system to try to get different ones which makes no sense because they are probably all sold out by now. Just really unhappy that their system can pull a switch a roo like that and I do not believe there was any notification as the rep stated. When I bought them my bank account was automatically deducted their charge for the tickets and my purchase was automatically canceled. I called them and asked them "why did you guys already take my money yet didn't give me the tickets?" And they told me that it was because my purchase was canceled since it wasn't verified and blamed my bank saying that my bank thought it could of been fraud. So I called my bank. Told them what was going on and said "well we can dispute the charges with you. Just add ticketmaster to a three way call" and said "okay can you guys hold for a half hour because that's about how long they take to even answer." They said "max is 5 minutes" which I understood so I said "okay I'll call them then give you guys a call."
So I went back gave ticketmaster a call. It took almost five minutes to get passed their stupid automated system, then I was on hold for a half hour. Finally talked to someone. Told them what was going and if I could contact my bank? And they said "yes but I have to transfer you to another department", so I told them "alright that's fine". Little did I know that it took another half hour! So the rude lady finally answered. Told her what was going on, and ask her "mind being on a brief 5 minute hold max so I can add my bank to this call". She calmed the longest she could be on hold was a minute! I instantly got pissed off and told her "that's messed up. How are y'all gonna expect customers to wait for a half hour every time you guys want to transfer, but can't return the favor and wait 5 minutes" (she would of only waited one minute with 30 seconds)?!
She said "sorry I could get in trouble". I tried arguing it out for 20 minutes I refused to give up, but they refused to even remotely try to help. So now I'm down 600$ for 3-5 days because they couldn't ask me to authorize something I had no idea I had to authorize plus they still charged the 95$ service fee when they didn't service **!
