I have bought and sold tickets through Ticketmaster for years. In the past few years they have stopped their phone support. Their customer support sucks even more now! It basically does not exist beyond a FAQ page. Try to get them on the phone – just try. If you sell tickets with them they insist on getting all your Social Security tax information. They force you to fill out form before you can collect any money even if you took a big hit or loss on the sale. I don’t trust this company with my personal information especially my Social Security information. I only buy from them because It’s the only way to get tickets for certain events.
I will not sell through them again. They take tons of fees while providing little to no support. I purchased tickets for an upcoming event and it is not showing up in any of my account information. I’m not sure why this is happening. They recommend emailing them and they’ll get back to me in 72 hours if they get to it. I know how to use the app and have been on their site many times. It took signing in and signing out several times before my tickets showed up. I was interested in the special guest artist for this show. I see that has changed and I have not been notified so I don’t want to go to the concert. I will find a third-party site to sell these tickets and to hell with Ticketmaster and their crappy service.

If you want an awful experience, use Ticketmaster. All of these negative reviews are accurate. Bought tickets for Phillies playoff game. Ticketmaster promises "tickets will be delivered before gametime". Six hours prior to game, still no tickets. Impossible to contact Ticketmaster, no online phone numbers work, online chat/access is automated canned responses. Upon sending inquiries we are continually informed tickets are in process we'll have them before gametime. So based upon this we drive the hour trip to game and pay expensive parking. Never received tickets.
45 minutes before game we finally get a live chat response that tickets were never "processed". Assume that means seller never confirmed. Shouldn't Ticketmaster hold them to their commitment? Chat response said they can't get us original tickets nor any other tickets and we'd get a refund. That doesn't help when we're listening to game cheering from parking lot and we can't get in. Final insult - we still don't have a refund and, again, no way to contact them. This is just plain theft.

Poor customer Service, very deceptive practices on resale tickets. I had a lot of difficulty, with purchasing the tickets, then they resale without being specific about, then no customer service, just machines answering. The website didn't work often, it is very hard to get help from someone and people were not very helpful when I did get a hold of them. Further, one of the events I had tickets I tried to get a refund because now I have to install a new app to get someone else tickets.

Ticketmaster made purchasing concert tickets the absolute worst experience possible. I thought I had purchased tickets for an upcoming concert, but did not receive an email confirmation. I contacted Ticketmaster, who replied that there was no sale associated with my account. I immediately re-purchased concert seats to avoid missing out. Imagine my surprise when transactions for BOTH purchases hit my credit card. Apparently, I missed the "m" on gmail.com when I made my initial purchase. So, the original tickets were sent to a non-existent email account. Ticketmaster refused to refund either of my purchases. So, I was stuck with two sets of tickets (or at least, that's what I paid for).
I invited some friends and made the best of it-- or so I thought. I realized I couldn't access the first set of tickets because they were sent to a non-existent email account. I sent a new email address to Ticketmaster, and they said they redirected the tickets to that account. After logging into the new account, the tickets were not there. I contacted Ticketmaster again, and they said it was not a problem on their end; that they'd done everything right and the tickets were in my account (even though my account was still showing zero tickets purchased). THEN, I tried logging back into my old account (where the second set of tickets was purchased), and both the app and online website were not functioning or showing ANY tickets.
The online help provided by Ticketmaster was completely unhelpful, and they told me I'd just have to go to the Box Office at the theater. They have stated several times "there is no problem on our end" even after I sent screenshots of both their website and app malfunctioning. So here were are 2 hours before the concert, I'm out hundreds of dollars, and I have no verified tickets. This has been the most unnecessarily stressful experience possible, and I avoid this business at all costs in the future.

Terrible way to purchase tickets. Was not able to get into the event using photo ID and form of payment as instructed at checkout. Event needed a QR code that wasn't provided. Tried to contact while standing at the event and no one ever would contact me back. Then 5 days later received an email saying the issue was resolved and no refund was allowed because the event had already happened. NEVER again will I purchase anything from Ticketmaster.

Please buy tickets directly from vendors.. Ticketmaster does not have a direct customer service to even ask questions. I purchased tickets online and was unable to validate a bar code .. so once I got to the ticket gate they could not find a bar code only a receipt and a debit of my account I paid.. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough.. I was embarrassed.. so I paid cash to get through the gate… so I paid twice for tickets.. Finally after all the tricks and hoops to to customer service Ticketmaster live chat said ask the vendors for a refund. Never any customer concerns, no apologies for embarrassment nor an explanation whatsoever where or what happened to my tickets. Took my money and blamed the vendor.. I purchased my tickets directly from Ticketmaster’s website not the vendor.. Please be aware. Take my word. You will not talk to a human being and they will shift the blame after they take your money.

Do NOT buy any tickets from Ticketmaster... Please scroll and read all reviews before considering buying! I wish I would have done this prior to purchasing my tickets. I purchased tickets to a baseball game about 3 weeks before the game. I downloaded the app as instructed and waited for my tickets. I was informed they would download before the game. The day of the game, there were no tickets. I started the chat online and called and Ticketmaster, they assured me the tickets should arrive any minute. Hours later, no tickets. I am at the gate waiting and NO tickets. I am frustrated because I am with my son who is disabled and he is getting upset and not understanding... I had to leave!
The next day, I looked and no tickets were ever downloaded. I called and emailed and finally got a reply stating the tickets were downloaded (which they were NOT) and no refund would be given. I was told by Nicholas at Ticketmaster that they almost never give refunds because people do not know how to use their app. He further stated that if you buy tickets (which I never will buy from them again) that you must read between the lines and fine print. (Apparently once you download their app, you have to download another app???).. This is ridiculous!! There are may other places to buy tickets, so Ticketmaster lost my business and my company's business! Ticketmaster does not care about their consumers and I will never purchase anything from them again.

I purchased 2 tickets to a show (MJ Live, 12/28/22 in Detroit), and they listed them for resale due to a schedule conflict. Ticketmaster keeps advising that they are listed, however they are not as they do not appear for resale on the seating chart map. The seats on each side of my seats, MIX 20, Row CC, seats 11-12 and 15-18 are also for resale BY TICKETMASTER and identified as such with the pink circle. I believe that ticketmaster buys and resells tickets at higher costs and is therefore not listing my tickets because they are competitively priced. Regardless, per their policy, they are obligated to list my tickets for resale.

I called today regarding an upcoming event we bought Tickets to & asked if it was possible to exchange seats for a different area & I was yes but I had to pay a processing fee of 300 which would be refunded. It was not correct. It was a scam. They wanted to buy a gift card from Target & read them codes for processing. I was then told that the billing manager made a mistake & they refunded me too much. I was ask to pay them back 400 dollars. This experience went on for a couple of hours. I was able to reach customer service & found out that my oringal tickets were being transferred. They had me change my password & cancel transfer. So my event tickets were safe & my bank had me cancel my credit card right away. Be Careful most tickets are not refundable or transferable! I hope this helps save somebody.

I was supposed to be given a discount and the ability to purchase tickets three days prior to the day they would go on sale to the general public, because I am a Citi Bank card member. The Ticketmaster app allowed me to gain access to purchase the tickets presale, however when it came to purchasing the tickets, the app refused to recognize my City Bank credit card as a valid card. I spent over an hour on the phone with a Citibank representative who could not figure out why Ticketmaster refused to recognize my valid credit card to purchase the tickets. So I had to go through StubHub and pay $70 more, because Ticketmaster didn't set up their system properly. I will never give them the opportunity to do this to me again.

Honestly I was really scared to buy Kendrick Lamar tickets from Ticketmaster due to all the negative reviews. It was my first time buying concert tickets from this app, so I was very nervous but I bought 2 tickets in August 2022, I received my tickets two 2 weeks after with no issue I loved how it allowed me to save to my Apple wallet. The concert was September 10, 2022 in Phoenix and had no issue at all. It was very easy to get in. They just scanned my tickets from my Apple wallet and has amazing seats! I thank Ticketmaster for a fun experience and definitely will be going thru them again to purchase in the future. Just thought I would share my positive review since I didn’t see many and I know many of other people were just worried as I was ordering from them so I hope this review helps!

Ticketmaster was absolutely horrible and the fact they have a monopoly on tickets means they don't care about the customer in the LEAST. I almost missed the show because of their lack of help. Their APP does not work on my phone and I was getting emails with one line of instructions which did not work, I had to wait another 12 hours for the next email containing another sentence of instructions. I begged for alternative ways to receive my ticket (let me print them at home, send the code to my computer..etc). I was given the middle finger in my face at 12 hour intervals. I had to call the theater box office directly to get my tickets. Thank God for the Theater Box Office.
Ticketmaster doesn't even have a phone number for customers, that tells you exactly what they think of you. They charged an extra $50 which should be deemed highway robbery. No different than being held up in an alley. Thieves never give you good customer service. If you can get your tickets ANY other way than ticketmaster. I would advise taking that avenue.

I bought my daughter tickets from Ticketmaster.com and have bought many tickets through them. We spent nearly 500 on 2 tickets and we buy from Ticketmaster so we can purchase directly. When we buy from Vivid Seats and other places we know we're purchasing from a reseller so decided to use Ticketmaster to ensure our tickets. Well my daughter is going to a wedding and can't use them for the date. So she found she could transfer and use them at another stadium for an earlier showing.
She called and because we transferred the tickets to her she was told we needed to call so she could give them last 4 digits of cc used to pay for tickets. So we did a 3 way call and the rep on the phone said they can't be switched because we bought them via resell, which we had no idea Ticketmaster did resell tickets. He said it was on the site but I honestly didn't see anything about it saying these were resale tickets. So we kept getting run around and were very upset!!!! So we asked to speak to a manager and oh no!!!! We have to be called back, I persisted on speaking to a Mgr now, and never got anywhere.
So I finally gave up and said, "FINE have a Mgr call us back...." It's been 2 weeks and no Mgr called. Hmmmm suspicious. Why can't I speak to someone in authority when I call!!!! So now we are out our money because the tickets can't be transferred to another venue (same ** show). So now we are out almost 500....NEVER, NEVER, USE OR TRUST TICKETMASTER!!!! IDC WHO'S COMING. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN because of their lack of customer service and misleading!!!!

That didn't work with an international number. I called their service, waited 15 minutes, and got the most stupid answers. So I sent them an email and got an answer that has nothing to do with the issue I had. I was told to check my spam folder... Before you order tickets from them, make sure you have a working account. As a big music supporter we look inevitably to Ticketmaster for tickets. Life happens and tickets need to be sold. The venue rep/liaison confirmed our tickets could be refunded or sold but when it is time to actually work that out on the website it is IMPOSSIBLE to maneuver into a conversation of any type to address this problem. Insurance fees on top of all the other fees for buying tickets has always seemed excessive. Having no friendly way to communicate any longer with this company we will avoid using Ticketmaster going forward. The world is hard enough to navigate. Let's not make it more difficult when it affects our artists/entertainers.

This experience I had with Ticketmaster makes me never want to spend another cent with them. I don't care who the artist is playing going forward. That is how upset I am. I can't believe I am being responsible for Ticketmaster's mistake. I relisted a ticket for sale with no service fee. I was assured there was no fan to fan selling fee. Of course, I adjusted the price every now and then and the confirmation page with the payout was always the full amount. One day, the page didn't work and keeps giving me an error message, so I delisted and listed it again and now the payout include a service fee.
I immediately called Ticketmaster to try to revert the changes. Had I known of the change in fees, I would not have changed my prices. I asked to be revert back and was told they don't have the power to do that. I am like, "Look change it back once, if I do anymore changes feel free to charge me. In this case your tech messed up and I would not have made that change in any way." Undeterred, the going back and forth happened for 2-3 weeks. I am like, "Wtf?" Then it suddenly got sold! So now Ticketmaster is now charging the buyer a higher commission and charging me a higher service fee.
I am like dude, "You need to refund me the fees." I was told it is because I didn't adhere to the policy, but the policy wasn't stated anywhere when I first listed, nor was it an email or anything that was sent to me. In the end, Ticketmaster wants me to pay for their mistake. This is messed up. I don't know if I want to ever associate myself there ever again, even if Ticketmaster is a monopoly. I would even consider flying to a different country to do it. It is not really about the money, it's more about the principles at this point. I feel being taken advantage of their systems.

I purchased tickets through this site MONTHS before an event I wanted to attend. The day of the concert, I get there and the website is completely down. I stood outside of the gates for about 45 minutes with my wife, because the site wouldn't open, and screenshotted tickets aren't accepted on their site.
We weren't the only ones either, there was a line of people at the office area trying to get into the concert because Ticketmaster was down. We had to give them a confirmation number from the email I received months earlier, and then security had to escort us inside because we didn't have tickets, but could prove we had bought them. It ended up making us miss the first part of the concert, and leaving us in terrible seats even though we had arrived early. You should buy your tickets from somewhere else, that doesn't depend on this site or app working or not.

Yes, this was my mistake. I just got over open-heart surgery and was rushing to celebrate. To make sure I got tickets for the right date, I immediately bought tickets for Jul 13, figuring I could easily get a refund for my Jun 14 mistake. Wrong!
I was never able to get a refund and lost $960. TM customer is beyond horrible. It is unconscionably non-existent. It is impossible to reach a human being by phone. The alleged written “chat” with live humans is a total fraud with seemingly computer-generated “names” with each response, the nature of which clearly showed that no live human was there. I was promised a response, if needed, in 48 hrs. or so. There was never a response!
TM says it can resell your tickets for you. Their website would not allow me to. It first said that my low price had to be higher. When I tried to punch in the price they recommended, it would not respond to its own “enter” button”. I re-tried on successive days and it would not take my re-sale request. A couple of days later I went back to the Ticketmaster site and I was again shocked that there was an abundance of tickets for sale for the same concert. These were not resale tickets. I was obviously furious. I decided to buy another set of tickets so that we would have better seats with the intention of selling the StubHub tickets. As the concert is not sold out now, there is no possibility of breaking even. I would have to sell my StubHub tickets for less than what I paid. I felt that since this was Ticketmaster’s fault that I had to pay for premium tickets that they should refund me the difference between what I paid and the face value of the tickets. I thought that was fair even though some would argue that I should get the entire refund.
I tried to find a phone number for Ticketmaster customer service which was impossible for me. I used the online chat which is simply a robot and was useless. I sent an email numerous times with similar replies that they are sorry to hear about this and then would instruct me on how to sell my tickets which didn’t address the issue.
After a few weeks, I was able to find a phone number. Pure luck. Same results however. The morons would continue to tell me that I can sell my tickets. I was able to get it escalated to higher people but it turns out that they are even more moronic. I was told to go to StubHub for a refund even after I kept telling them that this has nothing to do with StubHub. I only went to StubHub because Ticketmaster was showing as sold out at the time. I was told that the concert isn’t sold out and insinuated that I was lying. Why would I pay a premium price for worse seats if I could get better seats cheaper on Ticketmaster? I was told that the reason the seating was greyed out at the time was because of my filters. I told them that I have never touched the filters and on the day I first went to purchase tickets, it was all blue in the morning and then all grey in the evening. The filters did not change.
I was told that the organizers of the concert do not allow for refunds. Again I told them that this had nothing to do with the organizers and that this was solely Ticketmaster’s fault and that they need to refund from their own profits. I was asking for $140 which was the difference between premium tickets and face value tickets. Again, there answer was to request this from StubHub. This is why we need to get rid of monopolies like this. If you live in Canada, we all know what happened with Rogers, another monopoly. These companies only care about their profits. They do not care about customers nor will they ever take ownership for their corrupt actions. I hope they get what they deserve.

This site is an absolute scam. They boast they are the most trustworthy to use to sell your tickets but what they fail to tell you is that they will sell your tickets and immediately transfer them to the buyer and DO NOT SEND YOU PAYMENT. I was told I would be paid within 7-10 days which came and went and no payment. I emailed them questioning this and they said it's 7-10 days after the event takes place. They claim this is part of their selling policy that sellers agree to, I would never have agreed to that because that is sketchy to me. They just like to make things up as they go and screw people out of their tickets and money. I'm mad I hate to rate them with 1 star - they don't even deserve that.

The fact that there is no contact by phone for customer service is infuriating. This company didn’t take into account delays from COVID and refused to appropriately handle my grievance for over a year. June 2020 concert was cancelled, understandable but my money should’ve been refunded immediately when the 2021 concert was cancelled. Instead I went 7 months trying to work through emails with customer service to get my money back, each time being told it’s being review and give 30 days to see refund in my bank, I did this 3 times before one agent decided to tell me I couldn’t get refund bc my tickets were held by someone else who transferred to me (I did not opt to buy from another person, I was sent to TicketMaster from LiveNation to purchase lawn seats) and they received the refund. There’s no way to contact the original ticket holder through the site and they don’t give you a contact info for them.
2022 rolls around and I get a code to use for presale of the 2022 Halsey concert and I missed the presale but code wouldn’t work for concert anyway! Contacted customer support again and took a week to get an email back to which the rep says they can’t locate my original ticket and I need to look for email around the date I got the original tickets back in 2020 and go to that vendor source. It’s LiveNation! When I request customer support on LiveNation for tickets it automatically redirects me to TicketMaster’s website. They take no responsibility beyond selling of a ticket regardless of show cancellation. I’m out of money and out of time with bank as well, which I waited because the concert was rescheduled within a year then cancelled again and it was too late to dispute charge with bank by then.

In 2021, when things were starting to open again, I purchase really good tickets for a concert happening in 2022. When the date was getting closer I realized it was my daughter's birthday party so I decided to re-sell them on Ticketmaster. They emailed me that they sold a week prior to the event and I was thrilled. Then they emailed me with instructions to set up my bank account to receive the payment, then again to set up my tax ID to declare the earnings...so many steps. 3 weeks after the event I realized that I did not receive my payment and contacted them via chat (which is usually replied hours later by email) which is the only way you can get in touch with them.
I spend DAYs going back to the chat because their agent would tell me that my tickets were not sold and that the event expired, and he would not give me any more info. But when you went to my account on their site it said they were SOLD and that I would get paid 7-10 days after the event. The agent's replies were scripted, repeated, and limited. I finally get him to escalate my request, only to get somebody else to inform me that my tickets were sold but then refunded to the buyer, so I could have used those tickets but since they failed to inform me, I was left with no ticket and no money. Nobody apologized for this action and they didn't; even acknowledge the issue - because if they did, they would have to refund ME for what I originally paid for those tickets.
This was the worst consumer experience I've ever had and it's really disappointing because I've been purchasing tickets from them since I was a teen. To me, they sold the tickets and kept the earnings and they are probably doing this to many other poeple and since they don't have no entity to control them, they get away with it.

I had to sell tickets again, which sold right away (May 2022). I went to the tickets, which said sold, and it indicated that I would be paid within a week AFTER THE EVENT. The event is in NOVEMBER 2022. Since they sold my tickets, then they are holding the money from two different parties & earning interest on my funds when I need my money back. Is this even LEGAL? How can you sell something for someone and keep their money for the sale for SIX MONTHS? I intend to present this to the State's Attorney General. I really can't see how this could not be criminal.
If you call their customer service number you get a recording to use their website and if you must stay on the line, it will be a long wait. Well, it wasn't. The call disconnects as soon as they tell you to remain on the line for the next available customer service representative. I was disconnected 23 different times, calling at all hours of the day or night.
Now they have a bot that comes up if you are in your tickets and it keeps looping back to the How may I help you? as soon as you type in your issue. I am 78 years old now and have been a baseball fan since 1955. Yesterday, I tried to purchase two high-end seats for the Boston @ Seattle series next weekend. What a nightmare! Their website creates all kinds of problems with code numbers and passwords required. Then the codes disappear and you have to reapply for a new temporary code and create yet another new password. Then the site states the new one is invalid! So you go around in circles for hours until you can call customer service. They put you on hold (and I got disconnected) for a very long time. Their accents are difficult to understand.
I wanted the tickets I had purchased with a credit card to be sent to me via email. They said they cannot do that. If my wife did not have a T Mobile phone, I would have two paid printed tickets with nothing for them to scan at the ballpark. The first rep says they could not leave the tickets at "will call" whereas the second one, after hours of waiting, said they could do that. I long for the days when I could walk up to a ticket agent behind bars who was a baseball fan and had interests besides my password and credit card. This company is a monopoly and they wasted 5+ hours of my time this weekend.

I had to drive to the venue in order to have my issue resolved. I don't think it's legal to take a customer's money, say you will help them and then never contact them again. Ticketmaster should honestly be ashamed of their customer service. Clearly Ticketmaster does not care at all about their customers.

Today I received a phone call from the supervisor. My refund was approved IN FULL. Overall, while it was a difficult process to get the refund, Ticketmaster resolved my issue. The supervisor was very nice and thoughtful.
Original Review: June 2, 2022
Overall Ticketmaster is the WORST site to purchase tickets from and has even worse customer service. All of the reviews I've seen are nothing but factual. I went to purchase three tickets on May 25, 2022. I quickly realized that once I had hit purchase the site glitched and only gave me one ticket at the price of all three. I called my card company to see if they could cancel the charge before it went through, but they couldn't. Instead, they were able to provide me with a phone number to Ticketmaster customer support. It is my belief that Ticketmaster purposely makes it difficult to get into contact. If you have a Ticketmaster issue, I'm sure you will... Call 1-800-653-8000. The line will (more than likely) be busy. KEEP CALLING. After 34 tries, I finally got through.
The first time I called, I was told by a representative (after explaining my situation) that they would put in a request for a refund/to speak with a supervisor. I was told that the waiting period for a call back is 24 hours. I called the next day and was told "No, it's actually 24-48 hours." Okay, so I wait through the weekend and through Monday (Memorial Day) just in case they are closed. I called back Tuesday, May 31. At this point, I start recording my phone calls with them. I was told that my refund request was denied yet no comments were left on my account explaining why. So this new representative tells me that she will put in a request for me to speak with a supervisor (which I thought was already done). She then told me to wait 24 hours for a callback and then verified my phone number.
I asked, "So if I don't get a phone call by 5:30, then to call back?" She said yes (I have all of this recorded, as the state I am in is a one-party consent state when recording phone calls). I called back today June 1st and was told, "Oh no the actual wait period is 24-48 hours." I will say the representative was very nice and tried to get me in contact with a supervisor, however, Ticketmaster makes it impossible for both the customer and representative to get in contact with a supervisor. So I wait on hold for 20 ish minutes. When she returns she tells me that they told her I need to wait for yet another 24-72 hours for a callback. So I was told if I don't receive a call by June 4th, then I need to call back.
Now I am just waiting for a phone call. I will not back down until I receive a refund for Ticketmaster's TERRIBLE service. Almost every person I know that has used Ticketmaster has had a bad experience. I nor my friends/family will EVER use Ticketmaster again. Tickets to events are not cheap, and you would think that Ticketmaster would be considerate of others' valuable earnings being that it is SO expensive. At this point, it's seeming like they are telling me different times thinking that I won't call back, but I will. So I will put it here that if you need (albeit very bad) assistance regarding Ticketmaster, call the phone number listed in this review. They are open 7 days a week 8 a.m.-11 p.m. CENTRAL time.

A customer service agent from fraud called me back, told me there was absolutely nothing they could do to fix this, basically accused me of being a liar, threatened to terminate my account if I took it up with my bank, and hung up in my face.
After doing research I found that platinum tickets are essentially tickets that Ticketmaster marks up to see how much money they can charge for tickets in the future. They even wedge the platinum ticket selection option in between actual VIP packages to make it seem like you're getting a special offer. The fact that you have to purchase "insurance" to potentially be refunded is preposterous, especially considering that it only covers a refund if there is an emergency or death...Ticketmaster is sick and their practices should be illegal. Ticketmaster website system is a big scam system giving scalpers opportunity to buy tickets to just resale to escalate prices over what normal tickets would cost because of their scheme,if you research this event there is so much inventory of resale tix at a higher price after release date for not so great seats.I’m sure the venue will have some empty seats due to ticketmaster unethical practice. It’s unfair for concert goers to pay sky rocketing prices, when I checked their site again on 4/29/22, there are the same ticketmaster official platinum tickets that are closer to the stage (not resale) that’s sold directly from Ticketmaster at lower price at $644/each ticket but w/their fees would be $1712.10,
All I wanted was to exchange for 2 official platinum tickets for even exchange, but Ticketmaster policy makes it impossible to exchange because it needs to be of same value or greater, in this case I would even be ok for just an even exchange just to be closer to the stage. There must be a way for them to see I bought platinum tickets directly from ticket master website & it clearly states I have official platinum tickets. So I asked them “Are you telling me your website is incorrectly stating I did not purchase official platinum tickets when it states it here in this screenshot? I provided screenshots to them for reference. Please investigate the way Ticketmaster is charging outrageous prices/fees making it very expensive for people to enjoy concert experiences.
There should be ease in exchanging tickets that are directly purchased from ticket master website especially when what I have are not resale tickets & they just responded with the following: “1. The only orders that may be eligible for exchange must have been purchased directly from Ticketmaster, and have an order/confirmation number in this format: 12-2345/FLO. Please note that if the tickets were transferred to you or you purchased them from a 3rd party site, they are not eligible for an exchange, even if your order/confirmation number format looks like the above.” Irregardless of their invoice order/confirmation # system, I feel a victim of this scam because it’s unethical for consumers, that they are operating in a criminal way,no true customer service nor phone number/email contact. My bank statement shows ticketmaster w/ this number to call the number listed here. Ticketmaster response back via email advising me my tickets were ready for download. When I went to the site it tells me to go to the original purchaser's site to download the tickets which is them. I would not recommend purchasing ANY tickets from them. They will only give you the runaround & you will not be able to speak w/ a live person.

Buying tickets from Ticketmaster has made concerts a terrible experience. The system is riddled with bots eating up all the tickets available. Their systems are never capable of handling the influx of purchases and seat selections when tickets for any show go on sale. Customer service is pretty much a person paid to lie to you about what's available and that they don't allow bots to eat up all the tickets. There is however only one piece of information that lets you know they want the bots. When you buy a ticket it charges a Ticketmaster fee (which is way too much money to begin with). Then when you resell a ticket to another user (like bots do for the scalpers) you have to pay that fee again. Their entire business model is built on allowing tickets to be purchased by bots for scalping so they can cash in on the Ticket Master fee 2 or more times for every purchase.

I paid for a ticket to a Rammstein concert and selected USPS delivery (5-7 days). They decided to ship it to an old address on file which I had no decision in selecting. After a month of waiting I logged back in to see the tickets weren't even shipped. When I checked the Shipping address, I saw an old address so I raised a query with the TM support team to change the shipping address. They responded back with some instructions that made me change my delivery method to 3-day shipping. I thought may be while changing the delivery method ($14.50 extra charge) I would be asked for an address confirmation. There was no prompt, not even for the payment. It got instantly posted to my Credit Card without any authorization.
Now TM Support is saying they cannot change any address on file but they can hold the ticket in Will Call but they will not refund any shipping charges. So I got charged for shipping $4.50 + $14.50 for tickets that were not shipped. I guess I have no other option but to comply with them. I have been a TM customer for the last 12 years and spent thousands of dollars on their website. Unfortunately they are a monopoly in this business, but I will always try to refrain from doing business with them and discourage other people from doing the same.

Ticketmaster is absolutely terrible. We bought hundreds of dollars worth of tickets through them for the monster jam show in Philadelphia PA and we get there hours early. It is standstill traffic trying to find a place to park. Move forward to not a half hour after the show has started and we still cannot move so we missed the whole show because they scheduled three different events at the same time in the same area. We asked for a refund obviously because it was a lot of money for a show that was impossible to get to and they actually said they could provide refunds for past events. First of all it wasn't a past event. I asked for the money while the show started and missing this show was completely out of hands and they refuse to reimburse us anything. What a joke. Just take people's hard earned money, disappoint our children and refuse to give it back. They are not worthy of anyone's money. I promise you. Smh.

The customer service phone number tells you to submit a ticket online and then automatically hangs up, but to submit a ticket you need to have already placed an order to have an order reference. They don't even mail you a ticket (and in my situation I couldn't even print them at home).
Does any on-line company you know of (or any company for that matter) charge this kind of service fees? If you buy something through Walmart.com or Amazon.com do they charge these fees? Of course not! And really, what 'service' is Ticketmaster really offering you? They don't even have a phone number or chat to talk to a customer service agent live. After hours (and some messages weren't replied back to in days) someone finally got back to us and said that they JUST realized the tickets couldn't be refunded as they were resell tickets. This was after they've already been taken down for hours during what I'd assume was peak selling times. (Day of event afternoon.) When we saw this we were able to re-list them but it was only minutes before the show started, resulting in much lower sell prices.
Again, we reached out multiple times, multiple platforms and didn't hear back for DAYS!!! When we arrived at the concert and showed our tickets we were told that we missed the meet and greet, which was at 6pm, and there was nothing they could do. I was left with a very disappointed teenager.
Yung Gravy brought his mother onstage for her birthday, and said she had flown in for the concert. So it seems that created a change in the meet and greet time. Ticket holders were never notified of the original or final meet and greet time. Ticketmaster refuses to refund my ticket for the meet and greet. The venue has a legal responsibility to notify ticket holders of the times of events to which they sell tickets, and any changes thereto. These packages cost $700-900, and because the name of the package is the same and the price is the same, you are deceived into thinking you’re getting the actual meet & greet package the artist is selling, when in reality all you’re getting is an extremely overpriced ticket. This happened to me, and I have been working to resolve this since November 2021 (the day after I purchased the “Official Platinum” package sold by Ticketmaster, not the artist. There was no way to speak to anyone from Ticketmaster. The phone number directed you to send them a message on their website, then hung up on you. There wasn’t even an option to chat with a representative.
I sent a message (and then additional messages in the future) which then took days, and in my case weeks for them to respond. After countless messages, and requesting to speak with an actual representative in every message, I finally got a call today, 1/18/2022 (months since I’ve been trying to contact them, and 1 month after the show has passed), only to tell me that because the event had passed there was nothing they could do because the funds were no longer available. Had they helped me BEFORE the show, and responded to my multiple requests for help, I wouldn’t have been overcharged $600 for one ticket. I am extremely frustrated with how Ticketmaster does business and how they treat their customers, especially during these difficult times. I will avoid this company at all costs.

This is the only bad experience I've had with Ticketmaster, but it was truly terrible: Before the pandemic I bought two tickets for the Alanis Morissette concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It was postponed twice, and both times I chose to wait instead of requesting a refund. On June 8, 2020 I got an email from Ticketmaster informing me that the event had been rescheduled and that my tickets were still valid. The date for the concert was finally set for October 5th, 2021. Seven days before the concert, I got an email from Ticketmaster saying “Can you still make it?” with instructions in case I wanted to sell my tickets. I did not want to sell my tickets and did not even log into my account.
On October 1st, 2021 I logged into my account. My Events page showed as “Upcoming” the Alanis concert. The Event Details page showed the concert information, and said “Your event has been rescheduled: your tickets are still valid.” I attempted to print my tickets, and could not. The tickets did not show up at all on the Ticketmaster app. That same day I emailed customer support. Their response was a standard email reading, in part: “Thanks for reaching out to us. We are extremely excited that live events are back…etc., etc…We appreciate your patience…we are increasing our staffing levels to meet demand.” In the evening of October 1st I again opened the Ticketmaster app. The tickets were finally visible, but it said I had sold them. I emailed customer service again, informing them that at no point did I sell my tickets. I received another standard email.
From October 1st until October 5th I sent daily messages informing Ticketmaster informing them that I never sold my tickets. October 3rd: sent a message via Twitter to Ticketmaster Fan Support. On October 4th I called their 800 number and got a recording. I sent a message via Twitter to Ticketmaster Fan Support. October 5th: sent a message via Twitter to Ticketmaster Fan Support. I finally received a personalized reply via email saying “Thank you for reaching out to us. However I do see that your tickets have been sold.” I replied repeating that I had not sold my tickets. Later that day I got a reply informing me that the “fraud team” would contact me within 24 hours. I received that same day another email asking if I wanted to have “…our team look into this. Please reply by email or call us on [their 800 number]. Thanks. Alex.” I tried that number again, and again got a recording.
On October 6th I emailed “Alex” letting him know I did want to make a fraud report, and that the number he had given me did not work. I got a reply apologizing for the inconvenience and asking for my phone number. Then, I got another email from a “Miguel” asking for the last 4 digits of my credit card and my zip code. I finally received two phone calls from Ticketmaster, but could not pick up. On October 7th I called back the 888 number they left in my voicemail. I told the person who picked up that I would be recording our call. I explained everything that had happened, and requested that Ticketmaster also refund me the shuttle tickets that I had bought.
I was fully refunded a few days later. This was a great relief. However, what I really wanted was to go to a concert for which I patiently waited for two years. On November 1st I received one final email informing me that “We are working hard to keep pace with an unprecedented volume of inquiries, etc., etc…” SUGGESTION: Ticketmaster should implement a two-step verification system when someone allegedly wants to sells their tickets. If I’d gotten a notification asking me to confirm this, this whole mess would’ve been avoided.

I am not sure how that happened as I entered state where I live. Among the worst when it comes to customer service. I realized the second that I placed my order for Washington Capitals tickets that I had chosen the wrong date - a date that my group could not attend - and attempted to reach out so I could exchange for the correct date. Literally cannot reach them by phone. Received a message stating that calls were higher than usual (I'm sure) and the line disconnected. Tried to call back four more times, same message. Sent emails via their "contact us" system. Explained my situation and that I had placed the order just minutes ago, that I literally cannot afford to cover the cost of this purchase (6 tickets, 75 each - after a ridiculous surcharge of $16 per ticket, brought the total to $550). Received a message the next day stating that under no circumstances do they offer refunds or exchanges for sporting events. Emailed again pleading my case, was denied again.
Ultimately I made a mistake, but this is the kind of draconian policy that makes me avoid using this company altogether. They could easily have allowed me to switch dates, given that I attempted to reach out immediately after my purchase. Absolutely merciless. Don't use them if you can help it. The venue site uses LiveNation/TicketMaster for all ticket sales. My daughter apparently accidentally hit purchase on 2 tickets that were marked "verified resale" (the only available tickets). When I realized how much was spent, I requested a refund but since they were earmarked as "verified resale" they won't honor any refund whatsoever since they were "purchased 3rd party" even though it was purchased THROUGH Ticketmaster and TICKETMASTER is who charged my bank account.
If you try to "resell" your tickets through them, they charge you AGAIN for service fees so you are forced to post your tickets for sale for WAY more than you paid for them in order to get all of your money back - and even then you will have to PRAY that some poor soul actually purchases them. Oh, and you won't even get your payout until AFTER the show actually occurs. So they hold onto your money to collect interest for as long as they desire apparently (in my case 6 months). This is robbery on some many fronts and a scam. Plus you can only do one ticket per smartphone and My husband has a flip phone so he couldn't do anything to get his ticket even if he wanted to. Then...I read were all tickets are mobile tickets but it also stated that you can not bring your phone into the concert with you??? OK, So how is that gonna work?!? After several Months of emails and phone calls trying to just undo the order, get a refund or credit...concert has came and went...We did not go...Still no reply from TICKETMASTER.

Two days prior to our reservation (For Las Vegas Zip Line) my wife contracted COVID. We immediately called the Zip line people to either reschedule or get a credit. They stated they have nothing to do with it because we bought the tickets on Ticketmaster. So we contacted Ticketmaster, asking if we can reschedule the two tickets for when my wife is safely out of the COVID watch. Their response...NO. I emailed two additional times and they refused to respond. In today's tough economy and a dangerous VIRUS, we should have just gone on the ride and got everyone sick because Ticketmaster only cares about MONEY.

My first experience was last year when getting tickets for the MOTS Tour BTS was going to be having and I managed to get floor seats an hour into sales luckily. For obvious reasons the tour was canceled altogether this year however, they decided to do 4 shows in LA for the Permissions to Dance Stage Concerts. This past week has been a nightmare fueled by Ticketmaster and their lack of care for actual fans wanting these tickets especially after keep hold of tickets from MOTS for over a year.
I was supposed to have this “early access” to tickets for being a past purchaser and to have priority in getting tickets for these new concert dates. On Wednesday evening I was attempting to get into the waiting room for presale and it would not allow me for at least 10 minutes because it said it was a verified sale. (I got an email and a code for this sale.) I finally got in after refreshing tons of time and managed to get in 18 minutes before sales began. Moving along into my ticketing experience I could NOT purchase any tickets on this presale day without getting an “error 007 code” and this ultimately ruined my chances.
Reasons why you should downvote Ticketmaster1. They did not care about the fans of this event, nor did they bother to let us know about a secret presale for “seasonal ticket holders of Sofi stadium” where they released VIP/Floor tickets. (They said they did not have VIP available for verified fan presale.)
2. They did not favor PAST TICKET PURCHASERS FOR MOTS TOUR as they said they would/implied. They gave us limited tickets while on Thursday they released half the stadium with VIP/Floor and other sections. (They said there were no VIP packages for Wednesday.)
3. Tons of kicking from queues and checkouts along with error codes and so forth. You name it.
4. They claim they were sold out after 10/08 verified presale however, opened waiting rooms and had random tickets magically appear and say “reserved seating” on the side tab. Big scams.
There's probably more I could address here but I think that’s all for now. (:

Only received a presale for being a buyer of the MOTS7 concert and then was told that I was no longer verified and was not given any more codes for the rest of the presales. Only had a minuscule limited amount of seats available for MOTS7 buyers, but had plenty for people who they deemed “verified”.

I was trying to make my own Ticketmaster account but didn't make it very far. When it got to the mobile phone number verification code I never received one even after almost an hour of waiting then refreshing and requesting a new code. There was also an option to receive a call if the text didn't send. It didn't work either. Gotta say really disappointing and infuriating.

It's truly disheartening that on ticket sale days, that it's like playing the hunger games. People are being kicked out of the site while in the ordering process. Many times, people have had to refresh and be put back on the end of the queue that takes 2-3 hours of a wait. As this is literally your only job and have a monopoly on ticket sales, please make it easier for people to buy tickets. We're already willing to pay too much money for ** seats.

Ticketmaster is an all-around site for event ticketing and exploring venues, seating charts and locations. I have used Ticketmaster for several years and usually get the best price for the event, whether you are looking for sports or theater and anything in between. You are not limited to local events only.

Overcharged by Ticketmaster. I paid Ticketmaster $1440.30 for an Eric Clapton concert seat at Amalie Arena in Tampa Florida. The people next to me paid $378 for their seats. The woman to my left showed me her ticket master receipt for $378. I was way overcharged and I want a credit or compensation for this immensely overcharged ticket. Let's just forget about the tons of extra fees that Ticketmaster charges and talk about the fact they have no customer service. Once they have your money you better hope your concert goes as planned or you are just out of luck. My experience is a concert was canceled and rescheduled down the road. I couldn't make the rescheduled event so I went to get a refund and went through the steps then got an email saying it was too late to cancel but I can sell the tickets. So I tried that and my tickets cannot be sold for some untold reason. The untold reason is there is no customer service, no phone number, no way to talk to a human. This way they just screw you and go on. So do yourself a favor and watch Concerts on TV drinking cheap beers at home. Ticketmaster is a rip off factory.

I purchased a parking add on for a family event in Nashville. On the ticket purchase it said Pinnacle Parking and gave the address to Bridgestone Arena. When I showed up 40 minutes early, the security guard told me to view the ticket details because Bridgestone parking is not called Pinnacle parking. I sat in traffic 30 minutes driving my 3year old through the drunk Broadway with a bunch of ** mommas bouncing their butts on party buses. The parking was a mile away so I gave up and parked in the parking garage across the street from Bridgestone Arena at $10 less than what I paid. We got in the doors and were in our seats 5 minutes late.

Folks, please don't do business with these con artists as that is what they are! They do not honor their word even if it is written in email. They will never refund you anything they owe you. You cant even speak with them over the phone. They will email you (maybe) a week or so later to give you the same spiel. They asked me to buy a second set of tickets for the same event because I wanted to change the date. They stated they would refund me the original as long as I send them the order # of the replacement I made. Yeah right! Now I have $1,000 of Mickey Mouse tickets. Terrible company!!

The show was rescheduled several times them (Ticketmaster) stating that the tickets were still good. That is a total lie! My account now has no tickets in them and we have tried several times to know avail to reach them either by fan email or phone. They have made it impossible to get your money back or get the original tickets for the show. So now we're out $250.00. We will never ever go online for tickets ever again. The rating system is also terrible. They should get minus stars.

They have hidden service fees that you can avoid by buying tickets for events directly from official websites of the events. The response process to questions is too slow.
