I purchased 2 tickets to Joe Bonamassa in November in Sacramento. I immediately realized I'd chosen the wrong seats. I asked for an exchange. They said sure, but it's an extra $10/ticket. And because they're pre-sale tickets, they said they couldn't exchange them until they're publicly released. I asked if they'd sell me my preferred tickets in addition to the ones I already had and they gladly said that they would. So they could make the exchange if they wanted to. They just don't want to accommodate fans even when they're charging for the activity. Congress needs to break Ticketmaster up.

Do not try to resell tickets on Ticketmaster. On April 7, 2023 I purchased tickets from Ticketmaster to Bruce Springsteen at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland for September 2023. Mr. Springsteen was ill and canceled all concerts for the month. It was rescheduled for September 13, 2024. We cannot attend on that date. I listed the tickets for resale at a price less than I paid.

After a few months I checked on my tickets and could not find them listed. I went to My Account and looked under My Listings and it said I had no tickets listed for sale. After talking to “Jeff” in the Philippines call center, it appears they were taken (not sold) by someone. I was told to reach out to that someone to try to get them back. This indicates to me that Ticketmaster’s site had been hacked and my (and probably many more) tickets had been stolen. Apparently they have NO security on the website. More importantly they don’t seem to care about security. This is no way to run a business.

I purchased my 2 tickets for Mariah the Scientist show held at The House of Blues Saturday 4/6/24 because I trusted the site and use them often. I am not sure who is to blame but they refused to give me a refund. Upon arrive at my seats 2 other females also arrived showing me they had purchased the exact same seats as me. We spoke to the usher and a staff member but they said all we could do was stand. This is not what I paid all of this money for. IF I wanted to stand I would have bought the cheaper standing room only tickets. This is such a disappointment and ruined the experience for me. Several other people had the same situation and were all crammed into this area without the seats we paid our hard earned money on. Shame on Ticketmaster. I feel like I was scammed.

When I went to collect the tickets someone else had taken them. I chatted and called Ticketmaster about 20 times for weeks up to the day before the event and got nothing from them except excuses. No remedy, refund or tickets. I was unable to go to the second day of the event. Frankly my worse experience ever. Never going to use them again. I think they resold them at a higher price. I called to get a refund for an event at the Barclay's. It was a birthed present to my son. We arrived, got in the door well after half-time and we really only had the chance to sit in our seats for 10 to 15 minutes. There was chaos at the entrance, and our seats had been given to another family. I reached out to guest services. I reached out to Ticketmaster for a refund. My issue was thrown to escalations where an Allicia sends an email saying I have complimentary tickets from Barclay's. Not true. I email her no response. I call back and get told I can't speak to escalations or a supervisor. So I send a screenshot to this Allicia P and still no response. Buying anything from this scam site is like throwing your money away if you should have any issues or concerns with the ticket. Customer service is a disaster. Not a good company to buy from.

“Easily transfer your tickets on Ticketmaster.com or the app” – I spent half an hour or more pulling my hair trying to “easily transfer” tickets to other members of my family. Turns out they had to create Ticketmaster accounts to accept them – and then the tickets are still accessible only on the web unless one downloads YET ANOTHER app. Not everyone has 128 gigs of storage space on their phone. And don’t get me started on all the extra fees. $25 worth of tickets cost $46. And now I found out student tickets to this event are, in fact, free thanks to a local bank AND I could have purchased the tickets – WITHOUT FEES – at the venue. But, of course, there’s no refund option. Ticketmaster has the absolute worst online ticketing system and is a thief. HIGHLY UNIMPRESSED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

New rep was just as bad, but gave me a ticket #. Wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor, zero attempt to help. Their platform allowed a seller to double sell the tickets. Their platform helped them scam me and they will not do anything to help. I will no longer use ticketmaster and I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere. I wanted to purchase tickets to Blake Shelton as a gift for my son and his wife. I found the seats I wanted and thought I purchased from Ticketmaster. I saw the prices on their site and clicked on a button to purchase but I got switched to Tickets For Sale and not realizing it. That link was right on Ticketmaster’s site. I ordered them and received a confirmation of the order at the prices I saw. I had a weird feeling and checked my credit card the next day and I was charged $200 more that the confirmation I received. I realized there was exchange (thought I was buying in Canadian, living in Canada).

I first contacted Tickets For Sale and they said they are an American company and charge in US dollars and Ticketmaster sets the prices. So, I contacted Ticketmaster and they said, not their problem because I bought from a 3rd party that, happened to be on their website. Basically it was finger pointing back and forth between the two and nobody would take responsibility. I finally dropped it because the $200 wasn’t going to bankrupt me and I was just going in circles.

I was about to completely let it go when I went on my Ticketmaster app and it showed my upcoming concert to Blake Shelton. Finger pointing and ultimately Ticketmaster should have been responsible. I mean nothing to Ticketmaster and they don’t care. I am tired of Ticketmaster ripping off artists and ultimately the consumer. This has gone on for so many years. And you wonder why artists have taken Ticketmaster to court. Ticketmaster is a pitiful example of a company and has made billions off the backs of everyone they have ripped off. I am confused as what value they bring. Absolutely nothing.

I am absolutely livid with Ticketmaster and their despicable practices that allow promoters and venues to get away with straight-up robbery! It's beyond infuriating that they permit these deceitful promoters to advertise concerts with a specific lineup, only to turn around and change it after people have already forked over their hard-earned money for tickets. And to add insult to injury, Ticketmaster has the audacity to refuse refunds to the misled customers! Ticketmaster allowed the venue/promoter to promote a concert with Tamar Braxton in the middle of the flyer for a show in St Louis on 2/18. After I purchased tickets, Tamar Braxton was removed from the flyer and Ticketmaster refuses to issue a refund.

This is nothing short of a scam, facilitated by Ticketmaster's complicity. It's crystal clear that Ticketmaster is prioritizing their profits over the rights and satisfaction of their customers. Allowing promoters to pull the rug out from under unsuspecting concert-goers and pocket their cash without providing any recourse is utterly reprehensible.

Customers shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of Ticketmaster's lack of oversight and accountability. It's outrageous that they are turning a blind eye to this blatant theft. By enabling promoters to engage in this deceptive practice, Ticketmaster is essentially condoning theft and fraud. BEWARE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING TICKETS FROM TICKETMASTER that has multiple artist on the line up. If the line up changes after you purchase tickets, Ticketmaster doesn't care and won't help you get a refund because profit means more to them than customer satisfaction.

Purchased tickets to Shen Yuen on April 6th in Hollywood this morning (January 18th). Purchased 2 tickets at $190 each and parking for an additional $23. Made the purchase on my iPad using Apple Pay. As soon as I clicked submit, Apple Pay notified me that my card was used. And within a second or two, the Ticketmaster website displayed a pop up that my session had expired and that I would have to log in again to buy tickets. Ok I get it, there’s a time limit so as to give others an opportunity to purchase tickets, but then terminate the transaction before you charge my card.

I called customer service. Very disappointing to realize that the call center was in the Philippines. No issue with these people, wonderful people. But as I have come to realize, that companies require and train these people to read scripts. I truly believe that they are more than capable and bright enough to speak off of script but they will not do it. Needless to say, no resolution. I asked for a supervisor, not available! They will call me back.

Later in the afternoon Alberto M. Called me. No offense, I’m sure he is nice man but the level of sophistication was even more disappointing. He likened the situation to me making a purchase just before my power goes out “(Oh is that Ticketmaster's fault”. Are you kidding me? That’s your response? He stated that the charge will most likely not go through. I asked if it does can I speak with him again and what will he do. His response was “Well, I’m not going to sit around and wait to see if the charge goes through and call you, it’s your responsibility as a consumer to monitor charges on your card”. Once again, the sophistication is amazing. Of course not Albert, but if the charge goes through and I email, will you reapplied the issue? He said we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

If that wasn’t enough, I asked what the fees were that Ticketmaster collects for their service? Nether of them could answer that question. Are you kidding? You cannot tell someone what the fees are? I am amazed. I would have thought that Ticketmaster, 50 years old, handles millions of transactions, millions of revenue and this is the customer service I get? Yeah, I’ll contact the credit card company and never use Ticketmaster again.

They sent the email stating my tickets had sold, yet after battling online and still getting no answers, and attempting to use the phone number they provide on their website and finding that number leads to nowhere, I went online to search for a phone number that does reach them.

I have since, made 5 separate calls over the last 6 months, all of which I was told something different. The first time? I was told they didn't have my address - yet they had my information on my account - it was all there - and that since I was now calling, I could give them the information they needed to send me a cheque for the sale of my tickets within 3 months. I waited those 3 months - called again - spoke to someone else, was told I would get a cheque within 4 weeks... I waited 4 weeks, called again - was told that a cheque was just cut and should arrive, again, in 4 weeks. I waited those 4 weeks and called again - this time, I was told that they didn't have my bank information - which I they don't need to cut me a cheque - and that I could expect to receive a cheque within 12 weeks.

That was 2 weeks ago. WHERE do I go to get my money - and WHY when I get a hold of someone from ticketmaster, the number always comes up as SOBOBA CASINO? .. I am not in the position where I can afford to just throw this money away - it is owed to me, rightfully mine and I am at a loss as to HOW to retrieve MY BLOODY MONEY short form? STAY AWAY FROM TICKETMASTER/LIVENATION AT ALL COSTS POSSIBLE - NOT A JOKE BY ANY STRETCH - YOU WILL REGRET IT!

The venue does not sell tickets. I kept asking what the technical issues was no reply. Second day I try again with multiple cards and multiple computers. Same Error. I bought 4 seats ($ 5,400.00) to an Eric Clapton Crossroad event. Couldn't go, had to try to re-sell. Ticketmaster had overestimated or miscalculated the demand for these tickets so they tried to unload. $1,500.00 per seat tickets for $200.00 a few days before the event. So did I. Tried to list my tickets for sale on Ticketmaster - and matching Ticketsmaters pricing for seats they had available practically next to my seats.

But here is the catch, TICKETMASTER didn't allow me to re-sell my tickets at the same price they were selling for, they rather demanded a minimum re-sale price for my tickets at $1,200.00 per tickets, $1,000.00 higher than what they were selling practically the same seats for. This obviously locked me out, and I had no chance of even getting a few $$ back on my $5,400.00 purchase. I am not upset about the $5,400.00 I lost (I got over it...), but I am annoyed at Ticketmaster's manipulation and control over MY tickets. I tried to communicate my concerns with them for several weeks, a complete waste of time- -so be aware of TICKETMASTERS unethical approach and carelessness of their customers' needs.

The concert date has come and gone and they still have not made my refund available. Given the circumstances, this is beyond any measure of responsible business ethics, if not illegal. I'd like to know how much interest they have made on withholding our money? My tickets were nearly $2500. Multiply that by hundreds of thousands. It's just crazy. I absolutely detested my Ticketmaster experience -- to the point that from now on I will forego attending any event for which Ticketmaster is the sole ticket source. Ticketmaster offers no alternative to a digital ticket, and issued me a digital ticket without offering me any options or securing my consent; apparently, the mere fact that I provided a cellphone number sufficed as far as you were concerned. You provided no opportunity to indicate a preference for digital or printed, and you did NOT secure my consent.

I needed a printed ticket because I was giving the tickets as a gift to people who did not use a cellphone; a digital ticket would leave me no option but to lend those folks my phone, and I need the phone at all times as I am caregiver for a very sick husband. Or -- as was suggested -- I could accompany the recipients downtown, park and accompany them to the venue just to get the digital tickets scanned -- an insane proposition, as I am a disabled senior citizen, and this is Winnipeg in December.

With Ticketmaster, it is impossible to get to talk to a human being -- you have replaced customer service staff with chatbots. I contacted your "helpline" and explained my problem to the chat-bot in an extensive "conversation" -- but of course a chatbot can only address a limited number of pre-programmed concerns, and beyond that offer polite platitudes. There is no point complaining; it goes nowhere. This is very convenient for Ticketmaster; after customers have exhausted the chatbot's repertoire, they have no choice but to give up in frustration and helpless anger. This practice of yours ensures that Ticketmaster never need deal with a human situation, employ any flexibility or compassion, or ultimately take responsibility for anything. Your set-up serves your own interest only, and is thoroughly detestable -- and you can be sure that I will share my experience with everyone I know.

When I called back to exchange them I was told that they could not be exchanged for a different night - just different seats for the same night - WHY WASN'T I TOLD THAT TO BEGIN WITH?? I was then told I had to contact the venue to get approval to exchange them for a different night. (1 more hour on the phone).

I then purchased a second Ticketmaster gift card, received the card number and pin, provided it to another ticketmaster representative who promised me, I would have my ticket by the end of the day.

Got a phone call the next morning just to be informed there was another issue with the E gift card I had purchased they couldn’t process the order and requested another $80 in which I had already given 160 total towards the purchase because it takes 3 to 5 days for the first $80 to be refunded. Told the representative he was out of his mind.

What a scam! Ticketmaster is trying to gauge interest in an event and "needing to add extra dates" based on people registering ahead of time with no visibility of price or availability! Ticketmaster should have to disclose those details before people agree to register! We should know whether we can afford it BEFORE we register. Unfortunately, Ticketmaster thinks that people registering unknowingly equals the amount of people who actually want to buy tickets. That is incorrect. We, the people, cannot afford your $565 tickets for the WORST SEATS at a concert featuring a tiny, little lip-syncing, brand-new pop star's concert.

I (like other parents I bet), just wanted to give our daughters a little slice of fun, with a concert they can attend that's fun and features someone they like. But unfortunately, Ticketmaster thinks EVERY concert is Bruce Springsteen or Taylor Swift (I put those two together because they are both equally as iconic for their respective generations). But Olivia Rodrigo? Nope. NO. This is where I draw the line. From today on, I am going to stop buying from Ticketmaster. And I'm not alone. I spoke to MANY of my friends today, across many different friend groups across various locations: and everyone agrees with me.

Also, the receipt they sent cannot get me into the concert. It's set up for a smart phone, which I don't have. Their instructions for chat online is terrible. I had to fumble and finally got a robot, who couldn't answer my question for how do I get into the concert. I have to wait until tomorrow to get that answer. The original purchaser is a friend and I bought the ticket through transfer option on Ticketmaster at original price; he says he never asked for a refund.

As we both are following up on this, I am concerned about how TM is managing our accounts!!!!! No matter who I bought these tickets from, the tickets were in my account a couple of weeks ago and they belonged to me. Ticketmaster failed to provide security to me as a ticket holder; they decided to refund the first purchaser, when doing so they failed to see that the tickets are in somebody else’s account; but they did not fail to remove them from that person’s account!!!! Can you believe that? I guess this is the way they want to stop tickets being sold on black market so they are the ones who can sell tickets two times and more expensive for the second time. This is the last time I will buy from Ticketmaster. Shame! And never trust the transfer option on TM app and TM as a whole!

My girlfriend and I purchased tickets through Seat Geek (which is owned by Ticketmaster) for $265, when we click on the link the link said it had expired and was not active. So we contacted their chat for help. Their chat told us to contact the parent company Ticketmaster and sent us the phone number. We called the phone number and they told us they would refund us the $265 in the meantime to Venmo them $265 cash since there had been a lock on our tickets they needed us to buy new ones but the other $265 was in process of being refunded.

Once we’ve been with them the cash they demanded I asked why I didn’t receive the tickets in my email still. They said they are so terribly sorry. It is their fault but in order to release the tickets we needed to Venmo them $400 more dollars which would be refunded to us as soon as the tickets were released but the tickets could not be released until we sent them the additional $400.

I told him I didn’t have that kind of money available and by law, they cannot sell us something and then tell us we cannot use them without a deposit that Information had to be released before the purchases… so at this point I am $530 out and my girlfriend had also sent them $400 so that’s $930. I felt like something was really funky and suspicious so I went and bought tickets from Tickpick.com for $300. So now we are $1200 out for $265 tickets.

I’ve tried to contact SeatGeek as well as Ticketmaster to report whatever is going on with their employees, but of course we cannot get a hold of anybody. I don’t know maybe Ticketmaster is the ones who are running the scam maybe if their employees. I don’t really know but it is their fault that this happened and we deserve our money back but we can’t get ahold of anybody. This whole experience is absolutely sickening.

Buying Tickets is easy! You can use any standard payment methods, VISA, Paypal etc. but when it comes to refunds it's a whole other story. When it comes to refunding from officially reselling tickets at original face value through Ticketmaster's official re-listing process is absurd. Tickets were re-listed and then sold almost immediately, however instead of refunding it immediately, they make you jump through so many hoops including collecting your personal banking information and delays of more than a week for said refund.

If you can buy the tickets in an instant using traditional methods why then is there a huge delay in actually refunding a ticket that they have now sold 2x. Why is it that they can't (like any other retailer) simply refund to the original method of payment, is beyond me. Then to add insult to injury, they have NO number for customer support, and their live chat is an absolute waste of time as delays in response are up to 4 hours long. Would give zero stars for Customer Service but it won't allow less than one star. When a company has a virtual monopoly on concert tickets for major venues, I guess they can do whatever suits them as they have a captive audience, who clearly is only important as far as initial payment is concerned.

After reading the reviews below, I am now not surprised at the behavior and incompetence I've experienced the past two weeks. I sold tickets on April 28th and have spoken to several different representatives about the status of my payout/direct deposit. Every single representative gave me a different excuse as to why I have not yet received my money. It seems like they are withholding my funds with no valid reason why. When you spend $500+ dollars on tickets, $100-200 of that being strictly fees from Ticketmaster, you expect to receive your money in a timely manner. I am truly appalled at the lack of concern or urgency this company has for giving customers money they are owed. Makes sense they are currently in the middle of a huge lawsuit.

In addition, your representatives are EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I spoke with Charisse via phone where she told me a completely different explanation than what she had sent via email just the day before and when I asked for clarification, she got very defensive. Charisse cut me off multiple times, insulted me, and then hung up in my face when I began to exhibit the same behavior back in response. Ticketmaster needs to be investigated and Charisse needs to be fired asap!

Got in contact with customer service and they refused even though I explained to them what false advertising is, (I am sure majority of those tickets purchased were for BMTH anyways). Ok cool, so you refuse to refund even when you are lying about it.

Went to PayPal and made my dispute about them false advertising right? Well of course PayPal immediately refunded my money in less than 24 hours. Ticketmaster voided my tickets I purchased... Hilarious, and.. AND they blocked my account from purchasing future tickets, oh man I have to make a new account... They got me guys... Ticketmaster's setup for selling tickets is ridiculous. I tried to sell my tickets multiple times, over multiple days. I was having problems despite various attempts, on multiple different devices, including the app. I am fairly technologically savvy and troubleshooted in all kinds of ways (clearing cache, reinstalling the app, etc). I could not reach a human being at Ticketmaster that could talk to me in a timely fashion and assist me. You cannot actually reach anyone by phone. I did get replies on the help chat but it took hours for some of the replies, and I was told to do things that I had already tried.

Finally someone in the help chat sent me a tip that was sensible and helpful (though, sadly, not timely), telling me to enter my banking information into the "payment options". I don't understand why I have to do that, if I already have a credit card linked to my account, the same card that I had originally bought my tickets with. Having no choice, I did try to connect a direct bank deposit with my Ticketmaster account (which I was not particularly comfortable with doing) but there was another delay where I received a message to wait for some sort of deposits to arrive into my account.

I would then have to enter the amounts that were deposited into my account in a confirmation window on the Ticketmaster site in order to confirm this new payment method. The deposits never arrived. This is a uselessly complicated and frustrating process. I finally listed my tickets last minute on StubHub and sold them without any problems, albeit for a third of what I had originally paid for them. This experience has been so bad that I hesitate to ever use Ticketmaster again. I am very disappointed.

It's not as if I've had a traumatic experience recently with this company; Just more general animosity towards their business practices. While there are many companies that engage in malicious surcharge practices, I struggle to find one comparable to Ticketmaster. Consider this example, on the ticket I just purchased moments ago, $71 will go to the artist and the facility, easily the most deserving. Ticketmaster will get $41 for all the hard work they provide in Shipping the tickets (their automated system emailing me a QR code), processing the tickets (automated system checking a box, subtracting 1 from the total capacity total), & other very important processing matters and laborious tasks requiring hours of effort and innumerable expenses I'm told......

Of course they have to handle issues and refunds and all that stuff too right? Wrong. Majority of tickets are: Non-Refundable, Transferrable, or exchangeable. BUT I GOT ADDITIONAL COVERAGE: Maybe so, but let's look at a common one like if you get sick, whats covered under illness? Ticketmaster defines this as: Medical emergencies requiring hospital admittance. So if you're in the process of dying, no problem. Just submit a formal request through the claims division with supporting evidence (like your admittance papers, written note from the attending physician, personal medical details Ticketmaster should know about you, etc, etc...you know simple stuff). My favourite bit is after reviewing the terms and conditions, which are deeply & comprehensively unsettling is this bit: "Ticketmaster may earn a profit on the order processing fee." Long rant, I know, but honestly, companies like this make my blood boil.

With this knowledge, I am left frustrated, disgusted and left to believe that Ticketmaster is money hungry. The prices of tickets, even before resale are atrocious.

Over the years and the incline back to “normal” of events, Ticketmaster does not keep into consideration the consumers that have been avidly using them and are now paying the consequences of their greed, which are especially seen in fees. On top of price scalping, the interface of Ticketmaster is not user friendly. I wouldn't have known my ticket sold if it hadn't been for some credit card activity on the account I originally bought the ticket under. They put a $1.78 charge on my account the day the ticket sold. Then removed it later. Bizarre. Next, when I went to check the status of the ticket, I saw that it had sold and that there was a message that I needed to enter my tax information before they could payout. So I did that.

So a few weeks go by and still no payout. I contact them and they say "You need to fill out the tax info". Then it's, "Oh, you're a Canadian citizen, give us your legal name and address and we'll mail you a check, but it's going to take 12 weeks before we mail it out." With all of this hassle, I should have just forgot about it and left the seat empty at the event. So much grief yet they were probably quick to take the buyer's money and deposit it for themselves. Right? Anyway, chalk it up to a bad experience. I have one more ticket left to use and then it's so long Ticketmaster and I'll delete my account.

To date, no payments have been made and you have to message them to try to contact them. They will eventually answer, but only with the repetitive 'read off a sheet' answer that you need to verify your account or put your account back in, or add another account...etc, etc, etc. I have added my checking account 3 times without success.

Their excuse was I violated the terms of service. When asked which term of service I violated, the response was a link to their website as they could not give me an answer. I asked how long until I was refunded my money and they said 30+ days. 30+ days for their screw up. No email, no nothing stating my tickets were canceled. Figured it out in line for the event. After two weeks, I contacted Ticketmaster asking for a refund on the shipping and to send it to me via email. They refused to do either, saying that the card was already printed and that it would be mailed to me express in 1-3 days. Now it’s been almost a month. No tickets. No express shipping. No refund of any kind, and nothing but attitude from the customer service people, saying that the card is already “printed”. It doesn’t do me any good if it is printed and I don’t have it.

Finally, I called up a number (877-605-5102) that showed up on Google & also answered as Ticketmaster Customer Service.

I was told my tickets had to cancel and I had to pay an additional $600 to purchase the ticket again. Post that, I have neither received my refund nor an email on the same. My assumption at this point is that the number is a fraud number. What's baffling is that even 2 weeks after sharing this with Ticketmaster, I still haven't heard back from them that either gives me a refund OR confirms that this is a fraud number and allows me to file a police complaint. All this while, the number continues to be active and are probably continuing to fraud other customers.

Ticketmaster did issue a refund for my ticket purchase only the day after the event and I think I should be reimbursed for my travel, frustration and embarrassment. I gave 1 star because I did get a refund for my tickets. I chose ticketmaster because of their exchange policy, refund policy, and because you could transfer tickets to other sections if tickets became available. Due to high traffic on Ticketmaster's website the tickets I wanted were unavailable so I bought tickets in a non-preferred section in order to at least secure two spots in the arena for the concert I chose with the thought that I would be able to transfer to other seats or upgrade if better seats became available.

Unfortunately because of the third party resale ticket that is not very clearly explained upfront I am unable to do so. The third party vendor is also unable to issue a refund therefore I am stuck with the tickets originally purchased under the impression there was a chance to upgrade. I believe that ticketmaster's website should be more upfront and flexible with their ticket sales because they are taking on the responsibility of selling tickets for third party vendors who have already purchased the tickets early and then resell them through ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster has provided an overwhelmingly terrible experience for fans of Taylor Swift the week of November 14, 2022. Ticketmaster provided two pre-sale experiences for this event:
    - (1) A Verified Fan pre-sale on Tuesday, November 15, which allowed fans to register prior to the sale for a chance to be "selected" to participate in the pre-sale

    - (2) A Capital One Cardholder pre-sale on Wednesday, November 16 (originally scheduled for Nov 15, but was rescheduled due to Ticketmaster web traffic issues caused by the Verified Fan pre-sale), which permitted only Capital One Cardholders the chance to purchase tickets

As the sole vendor responsible for selling tickets, Ticketmaster failed its customers in the following ways:
    - (1) Failed to communicate necessary information about two pre-sale experiences to fans in a timely manner
    - (2) Failed to deliver a positive experience due frequent website crashes and unclear and misleading instructions

    - (3) Misled customers by encouraging them to register for the Verified Fan pre-sale and/or open a Capital One credit card to improve their odds of purchase ability, directly impacting customer credit scores and history

Ticketmaster could have taken any of the following measures to deliver on their promises:
    - (a) Communicate swiftly via email and SMS text when tickets were out of stock, rather than permitting some fans to wait in their virtual queue for hours
    - (b) Span out the Verified Fan pre-sale over multiple days to avoid web traffic problems
    - (c) Provide customers with transparency by providing seating options, available ticket quantities, and a registration headcount for each pre-sale multiple days in advance, allowing customers the chance to prepare for purchase

    - (d) Added a pre-sale registration for the Capital One pre-sale to better prepare for web traffic and inventory

Ticketmaster should act urgently to alleviate the unsatisfactory shopping experiences it caused for thousands of customers this week.

Finally, I decided to refresh the page, and it sent me back to the check out and then said the tickets were now unavailable. It then glitched back to the blank page and whenever I would refresh it sent me to a number of pages, saying that I took too long or another page saying, "It's not you--it's us" and then a paragraph on how an error occurred on their part. I was never able to read that paragraph, because before I could finish it, it would again turn white. I went to Ticketmaster where the original page said returnable up till Nov. 5th. and listed them for resale, listing #**, found that my tix were at lowest suggested sale price worth more than I paid, so I listed them for the lowest price the pop up suggested and a pop up said "they will sell fast". Then I had to give my Social Security # to list them, so I did. Then no sale, so I went back to find I could lower my price to less than I paid and that did not sell the tix.

I went back and wanted a " return" as on the Ticketmaster page when I bought them using the chat box only to find Ticketmaster allowed Seat Geek to be a "secondary vendor" as such no return. As well the tix were resale tix to begin with! So, who did I give my SS# to? Who is returnable to, why did my tix not sell fast as the pop up said, I am now worried. I talked to the "Grove" the venue where the show is at and the ticket manager said I was sold resale tickets and she tried to help me contact who actually sold me the tix. (Seat Geek). I called Seat Geek who said they were "Secondary vendors" and no refund possible. But that I could transfer the resale ticket offer I had online at Ticketmaster to Seak Geek! That is was simple.

She sent me online instructions using the word "Simply" do this or that, but it would not accept my photo of tickets, not simply anything. Besides, If I have to transfer the tix to them, then I saw they would make a couple hundred dollars by me doing so. Now I get "hijacked" twice? no. I have spent many hours on this issue, not because I have buyer's remorse, but because the show changed! And the returnability is a lie, and because the Ticketmaster allows Seat Geek to sell unreturnable tickets! service is polite but ineffective. So, can anyone go online to Ticketmaster and get sold unreturnable tickets from the very login account on Ticketmaster getting Seat Geek tickets? And where does the Social Security # come in? Have I been scammed?

I bought 2 tickets for a Hall & Oates Concert using Ticketmaster. The concert was held at the Nugget Event Center in Sparks, NV on 20 Oct, 2022. When I got to the gate, I discovered that my tickets had disappeared from my phone (I had checked that they were there just 15 minutes earlier). I spent 30 minutes talking to various people at the event center seeing if there was any way I could still get into the concert. Finally a very nice person looked up my tickets on their database and printed them for me. However, I missed the first 30 minutes of the concert. The Ticketmaster app on my phone said that I had "no events" and therefore no tickets for the concert. A day later that "event" finally showed up again on my phone as a "past event."

I tried to contact Ticketmaster to report this issue but they sent me to another site that I would have to pay to use. I refused to pay in order to report a problem to them; that did not speak to any form of "customer service." If you are a Ticketmaster user, beware as this could happen to you. By the way, there is no way I could have printed these tickets so I could not use them as backup if the app didn't work. I doubt that I will ever use Ticketmaster again. I cannot trust them.

I purchased tickets today and noticed that the seats on the tickets that I bought were not what I (thought) selected. The 2 seats were in totally different sections. I tried to contact someone immediately and was only able to use online chat where someone would get back to me in 12-24 hours. Very frustrating. Wish I had another option to buy tickets.

I have bought and sold tickets through Ticketmaster for years. In the past few years they have stopped their phone support. Their customer support sucks even more now! It basically does not exist beyond a FAQ page. Try to get them on the phone – just try. If you sell tickets with them they insist on getting all your Social Security tax information. They force you to fill out form before you can collect any money even if you took a big hit or loss on the sale. I don’t trust this company with my personal information especially my Social Security information. I only buy from them because It’s the only way to get tickets for certain events.

I will not sell through them again. They take tons of fees while providing little to no support. I purchased tickets for an upcoming event and it is not showing up in any of my account information. I’m not sure why this is happening. They recommend emailing them and they’ll get back to me in 72 hours if they get to it. I know how to use the app and have been on their site many times. It took signing in and signing out several times before my tickets showed up. I was interested in the special guest artist for this show. I see that has changed and I have not been notified so I don’t want to go to the concert. I will find a third-party site to sell these tickets and to hell with Ticketmaster and their crappy service.

If you want an awful experience, use Ticketmaster. All of these negative reviews are accurate. Bought tickets for Phillies playoff game. Ticketmaster promises "tickets will be delivered before gametime". Six hours prior to game, still no tickets. Impossible to contact Ticketmaster, no online phone numbers work, online chat/access is automated canned responses. Upon sending inquiries we are continually informed tickets are in process we'll have them before gametime. So based upon this we drive the hour trip to game and pay expensive parking. Never received tickets.

45 minutes before game we finally get a live chat response that tickets were never "processed". Assume that means seller never confirmed. Shouldn't Ticketmaster hold them to their commitment? Chat response said they can't get us original tickets nor any other tickets and we'd get a refund. That doesn't help when we're listening to game cheering from parking lot and we can't get in. Final insult - we still don't have a refund and, again, no way to contact them. This is just plain theft.
