Ticketmaster should be ashamed of themselves. They are a ruthless, gauging service with no conscious. My wife was online 15 minutes before the pre-sale for Chris Stapleton tickets this morning only to get booted out of the queue, logged back in and was told there were ZERO tickets available. I use the service to resell my football tickets when I can’t go. Ticketmaster charges me and the buyer. Absolutely criminal. My wife called their customer service where she was only able to talk to someone reading from a script and not very well at that. Both people she talked to said sorry, we can’t do anything for you. What’s a disabled person supposed to do to get tickets to any show with such a crap platform and ZERO customer service? This is a terrible company with no morals or social responsibility.

While in the purchase screen for Chris Stapleton Tickets, Ticketmaster's servers decided to poop themselves, telling me that we were unable to connect and make a purchase after loading for 10 minutes. There wasn't a chance for us to buy any more tickets because they had all sold out by then, hours of my time wasted in queues just to come up empty handed all because Ticketmaster doesn't work.

Ticketmaster is the worst company for tickets. They gouge you with ridiculous fees when you buy the tickets. Then they changed the entire date of my event to a day that I could not attend and refused to give refunds or credit. They said I had to sell them myself. Using their site to try to sell them they gouge the seller and the buyer with fees. They shouldn’t be able to charge fees to both the buyer and the seller. I wasn’t able to sell them and they wouldn’t give a refund despite the fact that the date was changed to a date that I couldn’t attend. Ticketmaster has no integrity and terrible customer service. When attempting to deal with their customer service the reps lie and pass you around to other reps in an effort to get you to give up. NEVER use Ticketmaster. Now I know and if it’s between going to event that only sells with Ticketmaster or not going, I just won’t go. I will NEVER use Ticketmaster again.

The ticket purchasing system is flawed. In the last month I bought tickets to two shows (which is rare), and the system asked me to change my password at every login even though the previous password was not expired or locked out. And there are technical flaws on the system.. It kept asking me to fill in sections that were already filled in and it kept stalling and timing out... Waste of time. Other apps work just fine.. It's definitely not my computer that's too slow, it's the design and functionality of the ticket purchasing system. I'm definitely not going to use Ticketmaster anymore.

So far my personal experience reselling tickets with Ticketmaster has been nothing but troublesome. Sold my tickets due to unforeseen circumstances and needed my cash back and listed them lower than what I paid for with all the fees and they still want to charge fees for selling them without refunding the fees paid in the original purchase. Says to add a verified payout method and refund method in case the buyer cancels the event. It's been a week and haven't received my "verification deposits" to verify my account. It says payment would be deposited 5-7 days after ticket is sold but they fail to hold up to their word. You would think once they receive their payment it should be transferred to you in a timely matter. No. They hold onto the funds for however long they want.

Now if you list tickets it says you won't be paid til 7 days after the event. So in all fairness why can't they give us tickets and we pay them after the event? Ridiculous right? Don't sell with them. Why even have to refund a buyer if they cancel if they won't refund the original purchase also?? Something isn't right. Trust me when I say stay away or don't sell your tickets here.

The way the site works is people/bots buy up tickets as soon as they become available then they resell them at absorbent prices. The reseller pays &30 for a parking pass. You now have to pay $80 plus an additional $40 in fees and taxers. They put not limits, rules or regulations on these resellers but you as the buyer cant get a refund for anything. You agree that no matter the circumstances you can’t get a refund. Your only option is to resell at an even greater price to recoup your costs thus perpetuating the cycle.

I reached out to ask why and apparently there were blue and pink dots indicating if you could or couldn't resell them. I explained there was only 1 ticket choice to pick from and there are no dots or anything in the ticket detail stating these couldn't be resold. The rep just continued to give me the same generic response and not even able to direct me to where it states this. Pretty much told to take the lose or go pregnant. Still have no idea where they disclose this information on their site. But hey they already got their money from me so who cares.

The phone line just automated, if lucky enough to finally get a live person, has people who are untrained and tell you you must have VPN & that's the problem, when you don't. Then they hang up on you! Lol. Just absolute insanity! Nothing is functioning,... Which is depressing because Ticketmaster used to be THE reliable ticketing service; and as of a few years ago it was the only one left... We just had someone hack Christopher James French Ticketmaster account, so we changed the password however if the hacker selected stay signed in there is nothing that Ticketmaster can or will do to kick them off of his account. Every other account that I own right down to Disney Plus allows you to see anywheres where your account is logged in and select log out of all devices, nope not Ticketmaster. So I called them and had his account pushed up to escalations, where they have also confirmed that there is no way that they can log out of the account on every device that it's been logged into, regardless of if I'm telling them we do not own the device.

I don't understand how it is even legally allowed to be considered a secure ticketing platform. Especially given the fact that they allow you to store your MasterCard information on your account. Absolutely God awful. The only way to completely stop other people from being on his account at this point is if we delete the account and start over from scratch, thankfully we have no tickets on there so this is an option for us. If not, from this point forward, every time we purchase a ticket using his Ticketmaster we are at risk of the tickets being transferred out of his account, and there's literally nothing Ticketmaster is going to do about it.

But what about two-factor authentication, don't even get me started on how big of a joke their two-factor authentication is. You should have to get a code every time you're signing in from a new device or before you transfer any tickets right? NOPE, that's not the case, the only time that you need to use two-factor authentication is if you try to make a change to the password or you know if you want to join a queue.

Ticketmaster needs to be investigated, this has to be illegal, they have no cybersecurity and hold personal details of thousands of people, including credit card information on file at all times. So if any of my friends have their credit card information stored on Ticketmaster please be aware that you should remove it immediately, because God forbid your account get hacked there is quite literally no way truly get it back and know it is secure.

I purchased tickets in July 2024 for an event for December 4th. I was supposed to receive the tickets on December 3rd, one day before the event!! I found this a little strange, but I just followed instructions and waited as I was told to do. I did not receive the tickets on the date I was told (December 3rd). I called the following morning, and the customer service rep. said I would receive the tickets later that day. Waited until noon and spoke with a different representative. I was told the same thing; to wait and check the app and I should have them well before the event. Remember, this is roughly seven hours before the event started and I don't have my tickets yet, but was reassured by the rep. that I would receive them.

Later in the day, I decided to head to the event (without tickets) hoping and trusting what they had told me earlier about the tickets. I called ticket master again while I was driving to the event. After an hour on the phone, I was able to get to a rep. and then I was transferred to a different person, but not without waiting for another 20 or so minutes. I was told that my case was being escalated and that I would have my tickets before the start of the event at 7:30 PM. By now the time was around 6:30 PM. According to the representative the tickets would be transferred to me by email.

Fast forward to 7:20 PM. I arrive at the event and park my car after paying $40 for parking. I wait for the email. I get it and read it. In a few words they are cancelling my order and refunding my money. I asked the rep. to call which he never did. All I was able to do is complain by email replying to the one they had just sent me. This is frustrating to say the least. I was embarrassed with my wife of 27 years, yes embarrassed because I purchased the tickets 5-6 months in advance and yet I did not have them. Embarrassed because I should have never trusted these people to do what they were supposed to do. Embarrassed because I took the day off work, had babysitter arrangements and had driven to the event two and a half hours for NOTHING!

They did not give me a good reason to cancel my order/tickets, they just cancelled the order like it was nothing. No accountability at all. Just like everything else, we're just numbers and our concerns or issues at the time are discarded like trash. No second thoughts or regrets on their side about what they are doing. They managed to spoil a night for a couple that was supposed to be a great night. So, we just drove to San Diego and back home. I drove back with a feeling that they had just stepped all over my pride and left me looking like a total idiot in front of my wife. I know that by writing this nothing will happen, but I'm just venting. Hopefully whoever reads this learns not to trust people like this in this company. Have a blessed day.

Here's a concise breakdown of Ticketmaster's major issues:
    1. Deceptive Fee Structure.
    - Hidden "convenience fees" often exceeding 30% of ticket price.
    - Multiple layered charges revealed only after significant time investment.

    - Dynamic pricing that turns concerts into bidding wars.

    2. Monopolistic Control.
    - 2010 Live Nation merger created unprecedented control over venues, promotion, and ticketing.
    - Survived Pearl Jam's 1990s Congressional testimony challenge.

    - Maintains iron grip on venue contracts despite public opposition.

    3. Anti-Consumer Practices.
    - Forces account creation and data sharing.
    - Mobile-only ticket system locks users into their ecosystem.

    - "Verified Fan" program creates false sense of fairness while acting as lottery system.

    4. Artificial Scarcity Tactics.
    - Reserves large ticket blocks for special programs and presales.
    - Forces fans to join multiple presale programs and obtain specific credit cards.

    - Profits twice through their own resale platform.

    5. Technical Failures.
    - Major system crashes during high-demand events (like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour).

    - Deflects blame to "unprecedented demand" rather than addressing system inadequacies.

Despite lawsuits, investigations, and unified opposition from fans, musicians, and politicians, Ticketmaster continues these practices due to their market dominance.

What a disappointment, throughout, from my interaction with Ticketmaster! Their website has a timer - it forces clients through their orders as fast as possible, with virtually no time to read "details". After a few attempts, I bought 2 tickets, and was then told that I wasn't allowed to print a physical copy, but told only "Mobile" phone tickets can be used. I only use my mobile phone for voice calls and rare texting. I have no intention of loading an unwanted extra App onto my phone, and then gamble if there's no guarantee of a working Wi-fi connection when I get to the event location to present my "Mobile" ticket for entry. With this deal-killing no-printing restriction, I asked for a refund; and was told "No, it's our policy".

I was simply ambushed by the whole process of dealing with Ticketmaster. I'm left with the feeling that this corporation just can't get money in fast enough, and to hell with anyone who has an issue with their arcane inflexible online system and unhelpful customer support. Ticketmaster conveyed to me a strong image of a firm lying well within the corporate psychopath spectrum - no authentic empathy, a policy-mandated lack of concern; ('it's our policy, so no, a refund is not possible'); unwarranted pressure on others to get what they want - your money (yes, they really do have a deadman timer forcing clients to wade through their website and complete an order before it times-out and requires a re-start of a ticket order over again at the beginning); and, they're outwardly charismatic (lots of glitzy self-promotion) to attract customers; just to mention a few telltales.

If you don't like being 'sort-of deceived', put under unnecessary pressure, dealing with an entity that sees it's transactions as a one-way track that's only for their benefit, or dealing with a firm that mocks the meaning of "customer service", then avoid using Ticketmaster at all costs. This old man will never use them again.

Avoid purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster at all costs as well as their customer service agents. We recently purchased tickets for a NY broadway show and could not attend the performance because our flight was cancelled. All we asked was could they apply the ticket to a different date in that same week. Ticketmaster absolutely refused to refund the cost of the tickets or accommodate us in any way. We lost money to the tune of $600. Customer service is a joke when communicating or following up. Never again.

Since Friday. It is now Monday. Now, the only handicapped tickets left are for literally 7x what they were because people do the resale and try to rip off disabled people with our limited seating choices. The affordable handicapped seats are gone and what was $62 (each) tickets, in this case, are being resold now at over $450 each. Thanks, Ticketmaster. Again.

Their customer service line sits for hours without an answer and their chat gets nowhere as well. The company has adopted a "DGAF about the consumer" mentality since they know that they are the go to online retailer. They don't have anything to gain from providing an appropriate level of service to their clients so instead they are rude and ignore questions/concerns.

I purchased tickets for a show 7 weeks ago and attempted to utilize a concert cash code. The website coincidently glitched during checkout and deleted the code, which I did not realize until I had already purchased the tickets. I reached out to them MINUTES after this happened in an attempt to utilize the code and/or get the amount refunded to me. It took over a week for a response through their online chat other than an automated response, and then I was told that the code had expired (over a week later, shockingly) so there wasn't anything they could do.

I explained the issue several times and asked for the issue to be escalated to the next level. It is now weeks later and when I reach out to them I am told "we will get back to you in 3-5 days" but they don't actually call or email back. Absolutely ridiculous. They are just waiting it out hoping I get frustrated and stop reaching out to them. What doesn't make a difference to their bottom line means a huge difference to the consumer, but the company couldn't care less.

This is a “minor” issue compared to most but in the interest of complete transparency of the ridiculous company that is Ticketmaster I’ll share my experience… I purchased 2 tickets for a play for my friend and myself. Shortly before the date we both had a change of plans. No big deal, I would just list for sale and likely take a loss which I was fine with. I had previously transferred the ticket to my friend and she transferred back to me to sell. I called tm to have them sold as a pair which is obviously more desirable than single tickets. They told me that because I had transferred it they couldn’t put them back together even though both tickets were in my account. Again, not a huge issue but another example of tm doing anything possible to create a miserable customer experience.

It’s unfair to people who just want to enjoy the concert, since most people buy tickets to resell them and make a profit! Not to mention the huge fees you have to pay. This is ridiculous!

Ticketmaster is one of the very most consumer 'unfriendly' websites out there! Tried to buy tickets to a local concert; it had been a while since I'd done that, mostly because there haven't been that many local performances of interest to us. In choosing seats, we noticed that most 'good' seats were those with the scalped prices. We avoided those, choosing some 'next best' alternatives, then the 'march against the clock' to pay for the tickets. That's when it got interesting.

Ticketmaster apparently didn't like how long it had been since we'd last made a purchase from them, so we had to 'update' our account, while the clock was annoyingly ticking away. We did that then went to enter the credit card data and just a few seconds before we got the CV code entered, the clock ran out! Then we got a message that the tickets were no longer available! We tried the back button to see if we could find those seats again and they were 'grayed out' as 'unavailable.' Ticketmaster lost some business tonight! I wonder how many performers realize the loss in ticket sales that they are probably experiencing because of Ticketmaster's jack** policies!

I immediately call them and explain everything and filed a claim to change my email and update my phone number and they said I'd get a call back in 1-3 business days. Never got a call, I call them a week later asking for an update and they never even filed the claim so I asked to redo the claim and again they said they’d call back in 1-3 business days. ONCE AGAIN never got a call so I call back again and the claim was NOT filed! At this point I’m frustrated because “customer support” was doing everything but supporting.

This time they said there was nothing they could do for me without confirming my identity (which they couldn’t do without my email/number. They said I had to contact the person that transferred the tickets to me which I did and there was nothing she could do either because the tickets had already been transferred. I called back the support number and they said they were sending me a confirmation number to verify my identity before they could help me, we got nowhere because I’ve repeatedly told them I can’t get into that email, they said they’d call me with an update on my claim the day after. Fast forward a week later, my concert is TOMORROW. I called them and was on hold for 45 minutes before someone answers and asks me to explain the issue, I told her I’ve filed about 4 claims and I’m needing an update.

She said my case is still open and I reminded her this is the 4th claim, 7th phone call and all they had to do was change my email❗️ She noticed a change in my tone of voice and HUNG UP THE PHONE! I call back and was on hold for another 20 minutes, ironically the same lady that hung up the first time also picked up the second call. I told her I need an update and she says my case is still open for verification and that I would receive a phone call before the concert which again is TOMORROW. I am so frustrated and upset because this was the only thing I was doing with my family for my birthday. It’s the only birthday money I had in all honesty. I don’t know what else to do. The calls are stated to be "escalated" and then they say to wait for a call back. I have repeated this process five times now and no resolution.

I will be reporting the ticket purchase as fraud if as solution is not found. It doesn't make any sense to me, because I can contact the venue directly, explain my situation, and they have told me that the two tickets were indeed purchased by me and Ticketmaster should be able to provide them to me so I can attend the concert. Ticketmaster is a nightmare! Between the ridiculous service fees and the constant site crashes during popular events, it feels like they're just exploiting fans, hope event organizers start working like FIFA which doesn't allow ticket transfers, they buys back the ticket for the customers at a fee to resell it so that real fans can enjoy the experience without falling into Ticketmaster's scam. To make matters worse, the resale ticket situation is so out of control—It's hard to know if you're even buying legitimate tickets. So many cases of people getting scammed with fake resale tickets, and Ticketmaster doesn’t do enough to prevent it. The whole system is broken, and it’s the fans who suffer.

Ticketmaster always looks out for itself. The fees are exorbitant. We have had WNBA season tickets for 12 years. We opted in for the playoff games without know when they were. When we went to sell some tickets they put a minimum price on them, while at the same time, selling tickets that they control for less. We are not able to sell our tickets for face value. That is really low! Unfortunately, they control so many Pro sports tickets. It’s disgusting! Also, when you try to call to speak with someone they never pick up. They probably have one person working in the call center.

Ticketmaster customer service was unable to help get them transferred back, they gave me a case number and keep telling me someone will call me back. This is unacceptable customer service, they should help their customers retrieve stolen merchandise or offer a refund. We disputed the charges and went straight to the box office to buy tickets for the event. I would recommend anyone attending an event to just buy your tickets at the box office, much cheaper and much safer than using Ticketmaster to buy your tickets. Ticketmaster accounts are convenient but not safe at all to use in my experience. Ticketmaster customer service doesn’t seem to know how to help their customers when fraud happens in a timely manner at all.

Ticketmaster is one of the most unethical and dishonest companies I’ve ever dealt with. Last week I purchased what I thought were artist VIP Banquette tickets during the artist's presale. On the artist's site it stated ALL banquette tables came with meet and greet and photos artist VIP perks. During the presale, both the artist VIP and venue VIP tickets were released.

    1. This should not have happened as many of us believed they were all the artist VIP tickets. The wording on the Ticketmaster site was also very vague.
    2. I found out that fans were being refunded for purchasing the incorrect tickets. After being on hold forever, the first customer service agent said there was nothing that could be done.

    3. I called again speaking to a different rep who told me if I purchased more expensive tickets I would be refunded. I found out that other fans did not purchase more expensive tickets and were refunded.

I called back speaking to a third representative who escalated the situation and said a supervisor would call me back. I also opened a chat that went unanswered for days as well as an Instant Messenger on Facebook which still hasn’t been answered. Also during the ticket purchasing process I had multiple payments declined. After waiting all day without a return call, I called Ticketmaster again speaking to another person who stated my ticket was still open and a supervisor would call me back but suggested I call Allianz Global to inquire about a refund. I called the insurance company who told me purchasing the wrong tickets is not covered. I stated this in my still unanswered chat. Over the weekend I was told via chat my ticket was closed without ever receiving a call from a supervisor.

This week I received an email saying the event organizer was reviewing my case as did a friend of mine. She received notice she was being refunded. Today I received notice I am not being refunded. To summarize, they chose to refund some people but not everyone that was misled by the artist and Ticketmaster which is unfair and unethical. More artists need to stand up and refuse to do business with this company. It has only gotten worse since they merged with Live Nation and they have a monopoly on ticket sales. They also should not be allowed to own the venues where concerts are held. This whole thing has soured me on both the artist and Ticketmaster. If we the people refuse to pay their exorbitant fees and pricing, they won’t fill the venues. It will hurt both them and the artist.

On September 7, 2024, I was supposed to attended a concert with my 3 family members and my self, it was a birthday present to myself, and we were very excited to get into the concert. Upon arrival I checked my tickets for the scanning codes and realized there were no codes. I ask my daughter to look into it and she said, "Mom why does it say the tickets were sold." I immediately went into panic mode. I called customer service and was connected to this cold, not willing to help with any solutions and was just told those tickets are gone, I would have to make a complaint. At this point I was so devastated. Here I am with my family all dressed up ready to enjoy this concert that I have been waiting for over 6 months and to just be told tickets are gone. Apparently Ticketmaster allowed someone to fraudulently get into my account and sell my tickets. I did not authorize any sell of my tickets or did I receive any notice of my tickets being sold.

This was an inside job. In frustration, and tears I ended up buying these last minute bad seats because I was embarrassed and couldn't let us not see the concert at all... We spent our hard-earned money on... weeks and hours of work just to be turned away and treated like garbage when I am a paying customer! To be told only to contact ****??? I did contact customer service and I received responses only telling me this is being passed on to fraud dept and someone will get back to me. It's been over 4 weeks and still no refund or anything. This was horrible treatment and I will never use Ticketmaster again.

This is also the second fraud that has happen to my tickets. After purchasing my tickets a few weeks later someone got into my Ticketmaster account and customer service. By-pass the security measures that are set up and allowed this person to transfer my tickets to themselves. I was able to talk to talk to customer service and they were able to get the tickets back since the concert hadn't happen yet.

The day before the concert (in Sept) it wouldn’t let me log into my acct I’ve had for years, saying the acct did not exist. That couldn’t be right, because they literally emailed me a confirmation of the purchase to that email. I couldn’t use the service chat because I could not log in and it requires you to be logged in. I called customer service at 8 am when they opened. Was put on hold for 30 mins. This was call #1. I was told my acct had been broken into and someone had changed my email address on there. Despite being able to validate everything else (order number, phone number, name, credit card etc) they refused to give me my tickets. I was told they had to escalate it to fraud and would receive a call. This is the DAY OF the concert. 4 hours go by, nothing. No call. I call back (call #2) this time I’m on hold for an hour.

I’m told the first agent never even put a ticket through to the fraud department at all. The second person puts one through and says yet again I’ll be contacted shortly by them. 3 more hours goes by… nothing. I call back (call #3) and am told AGAIN I’ll be contacted by them VERY SHORTLY as my concert is quickly approaching. Once again I remind them I have ALL the info I just can’t access my ticket barcodes. THREE MORE HOURS GO BY. At this point I have to leave for the event in an hour. No call. Nothing. I call back (call #4) and am told “maybe you can try to buy new tickets at the box office”. I’m told that there’s nothing they can do and that I should now pay for duplicate tickets, and that they have no idea when or if fraud department will call me at all. Ticketmaster is absolute trash.

Ticketmaster sold me a fake resale ticket for the Def Leppard/Journey/Steve Miller Band concert in at Nissan Stadium in Nashville TN for 7/20/24. They have played games ever since. Over the years; especially over the last 3 years I have bought literally hundreds of concert tickets through them without issue. Better hope you never have an issue because they will not fix it. The resale ticket they sold me did not have a scan bar, was fake, and wasn’t even a real seat number. The ticket would not scan first of all so I couldn’t get in and second of all even if I could get in, the seat number did not exist in the whole stadium.

I have called them literally 17 times in total beginning with 4 times on the 20th of July. After going through their awful prompts to ever get to a person at “customer service” I am told each and every time they can NOTHING for me and would have to transfer me to the resale department. The resale department never answers the phone morning, day, or night. I wasted $252.06 on a ticket I never got to use plus $53.50 for parking I never got to use and plus the cost of a rental car and traveling 4.5 hours to Nashville and then back. What a waste of my time and money.

I finally turned it in to my credit card company for them to dispute this charge because I was sold a bogus ticket and guess what? Ticketmaster is fighting it because the concert wasn’t cancelled. Well guess what? The concert was cancelled for me because you sold me a fake ticket that could not be used which had a seat number that did NOT even exist. They gave me a seat number of 950 which does not exist. Section 121 Row N seat 950 does not exist. The seats are all 1-12 in each and every row. I have been to 2 more concerts through Ticketmaster since this because I had already purchased those tickets and I have two more shows pending through ticketmaster that I also had already bought before this happened but never again.

I will never ever never ever buy another ticket through Ticketmaster ever again. If my only choice is Ticketmaster then I won’t be going. I won’t be scammed again and I certainly won’t play one sided phone tag with Ticketmaster ever again. Their customer service sucks and they also claim whenever I call that there is never ever a supervisor there to help me and that I can only call and get no help. I’ve told customer service literally 16 times that no one ever answers in the resale department and what do they do? They transfer me over there anyways. This company has gone downhill and they will be bought out by some company one day and rebranded into another piece of trash under another name. I was scammed by Ticketmaster and they have done absolutely nothing to make it right. They don’t care. They do not care if the tickets they sell you are legit or not.

When I requested a refund due to the unexpected rescheduling, Ticketmaster refused, stating that it was my responsibility to check my emails and it is not possible to refund. This response is unacceptable, especially considering the volume of promotional emails I regularly receive from them. It’s easy for important notices to get lost among the constant stream of advertisements.

Ticketmaster should ensure that their customers are properly notified about significant changes to events, rather than putting the burden entirely on us to sift through emails. After this experience, I will definitely be looking for another ticket provider. Their lack of effective communication and refusal to provide a refund has left me with a very negative experience. I would strongly urge others to be cautious when using Ticketmaster, especially for events that might be subject to changes.

I paid $209 a ticket and they only would give me $188 for the both tickets. I went up to the concert and that same day the show was cancelled I wanted a refund for all the tickets but they only gave me the refund for 4, so they made money when I bought them and money when they bought them back from me and now they won't give me a full refund. They are horrible and all they do is make money off you! I really wish they would give me back the difference. I have a blog of 60,000 followers and I sure will post about this!

I had purchased two lawn tickets earlier for my son and I to use for last night. When we found out his best friend could come enjoy his first concert with him - it said I successfully purchased two seats in section 404 as well and his mom and I would sit on the lawn. When I went to go to the gate to access tickets to scan them in - the tickets wouldn't appear to scan! None of the staff on hand could help and said it was a Ticketmaster issue! I tried accessing the chat option and it kept opening and closing, so that was no help and I couldn't show them the confirmation email either as that's not considered an actual ticket.

So I purchased these tickets last minute for nothing and am not out the cost of them! I'm so incredibly disappointed in the reliability of this app and how I couldn't get a hold of anyone to help me! The tickets went unused and said it was transferred to me, but I couldn't even view them. It left such a sour taste in our mouths for the kid's first show. So disappointing and am trying to recoup the money lost.

I purchased tickets to a concert and afterwards the date of the concert changed. Ticketmaster then did the reasonable thing and emailed me saying I had about a month to request a refund. The link they provided went to a customer support chat. The support took over a day to get back to me, and once they did, they said they did not have the ability to refund me... I said OKAY, let me explain better what the situation was. I sent them the pictures of the email, explained that the concert date had changed, yet they still said they could not refund me.

I called up their customer service, waited 30-40 min to get to a human, and they were finally able to provide me the refund Ticketmaster promised. To add onto this, I looked at ticket prices for the new concert and new venue. Prices were $36 instead of $69 after the date change. Ticketmaster did not even automatically refund the difference in costs.

The worst part was when we got to the event the ticket master app wasn't working, so we were re-directed to the venue's ticket booth where it took them 15 minutes to sort out the problem. I have come to the conclusion that Ticketmaster has dumb rules on exchanging tickets and they also allow bots to buy tickets and people to resell for more than 5x's the face value cost of tickets. For instance....someone was trying to sell Chris Brown tickets, like 16 rows back for $15k! A 3rd row seat was $8k.... Front row didn't even cost more than $1k. Someone at the show told me they sold a front row for $2500. Anyway... Last year I tried to purchase front row seats but they were not available possibly due to them being in someone's cart, so I got 2nd row seats. Eventually, I noticed that the front row seats were available, not for resell but regular price. I asked to exchange my seats and they told me I couldn't because the front row was 4 DOLLARS CHEAPER than the 2nd row seats I purchased and that I could only exchange them for equal or greater value.

Now this year, I tried to exchange some not so great VIP pkg seats for some better non-vip seats. Even though those seats would have cost me $400 more, they told me that I can only exchange VIP seats with VIP seats of equal or greater value. I declined at first because the VIP seats they had left were not as good as the non-vip seats.... but eventually, I decided to do it. The VIP seats I requested was the same package and the same price. This time they told me that my request had to be sent to the VIP people for approval, only to now tell me that I couldn't exchange them. I don't know who makes the rules but I think they are doing bad business.

Negative stars if possible and a kick in the teeth to all Ticketmaster employees and managment! We ALL know this is one of the worlds most disgusting and corrupt, worthless ** companies in the history of the world! They charge outrageous fees on their tickets and if you can't go to the show you purchased tickets for when you re-sell them on their platform they charge you another fee again! But that's NOT ALL! They also w/o your knowledge ADD more fees to the listing so the new buyers will have to pay extra fees on top of the fees you are paying them! a true double dip which costs you and the buyer and makes it more difficult for your tickets to sell.

For example: If you purchased a ticket for $100. and try to resell it on ticketmaster for $100 they will give you like $75 as a payout. But if you go to the events site map and look up your ticket you will find that its NOT listed for the $100 you listed it for but something like $125. So if it sells they are making $25 each off of you and the new buyer. This practice ALSO makes it harder for you to SELL your ticket because now it's priced higher than the competition. Ticketmaster's business practices should be illegal and someone needs to sue their asses over this!

When I called CS to see if there was an issue with my card, or the event or system I was told they couldn't even find the event in question. Funny: I found it 8 times. I was getting pretty good at it actually. What a disaster! I bought tickets to Bonnie Raitt in Burlington, VT. Very expensive and we booked a hotel room for the night. A week before the concert I logged on to put my tickets in my wallet. My account had been suspended because they suspected I was a bot. I buy tickets once every couple of years! I immediately contacted Customer Service. They responded with solutions. Great! Except the solutions don’t work. This went on and on. They need a Customer Service intervention! There is no record of my emails and phone calls. Each contact was as if I was contacting them for the first time. The day of the concert arrived. Still can’t access my tickets. The only reason we got in was that someone took pity on us and believed our story. The stress this caused me for a week was so frustrating! Something I looked forward to was marred by the insensitive Customer Service “team”. There is no team there. I think they are all BOTS!

The rep I was connected to was HORRIBLE!!! I have never been cussed out and called names like that by a "customer" service rep in my life! He called me a ** and said very insulting, sexual things to me. I called back and got the exact same guy! There's no way Ticketmaster is monitoring these calls, either that or they simply do not care about their customers and how their treated.

As stated in others' reviews, you are made to listen to a message before you connected to a rep that states bad treatment of employees will not be tolerated. Oh okay, but it's okay for your rep to sexually harass your customers that pay overinflated prices for tickets?!?! Gotcha. I called and left several messages for executives in the CA office, but I never received a single call back. Ticketmaster is being run by people that could care less about their customers. They're chasing the almighty dollar and they don't care who is trampled along the way. As such, we attempted to resell 4 tickets (original purchase price $359.51/ticket) via the Ticketmaster website, at a price ($260/ticket) far below the original purchase price. As the concert date got near I tried to lower the price, only to find out that there was a minimum resell price, as dictated by Ticketmaster, which was $260. When you resell your tickets on Ticketmaster they offer to buy them back at a ridiculously low price, yet not allow the reseller to set any price they want. To finish the story, I was not able to resell my tickets at the initial price I set, so on the afternoon of the concert I resold the tickets to TM at $51.42/ticket.

However, there are two ways that you can give tickets to employees. One, that you need to be there at the game and scan your phone and let them in. Two, you can make your employees open up a Ticket Master account and then transfer the tickets to each employees accounts. This is a ridiculous policy. When I called Ticket Master, the first thing that the message said was "We have a zero tolerance policy for abusive behavior, please be kind", wow, that was a red flag. What type of company introduces the their first impression with that message? Obviously, one that has an Executive Management issue. That would be a horrible place to work. Terrible. An infuriating experience. I love the message that customers are expected to be nice and respectful but this company does not do this to begin with. Purchased 2 tickets for a venue 4 hours away; the artist has just added a location that is 20 minutes away which was not on the available locations several months ago at the time of purchase. Ticketmaster will do nothing. I asked if I can just get a credit so I can go to the closer location .They told me I can sell the ticket on social media; or sell the ticket through Ticketmaster. The ticket total is $350 and the current offer is $71 from Ticketmaster.

My opinion is this is a money driven company with no regard to customers. Just treat people how you would want to be treated. To make me spend money on gas and hotel when there was a recently announced closer location is just not right. Also the” VIP host” that comes with the VIP ticket is non existent; no response. Never even spoke with the person or saw them. I called Ticketmaster and it's like talking to a robot. “We will provide your feedback.” Someone was supposed to call about a previously purchased ticket that did not populate in my account no one ever did.. I had to call the box office at the venue for help and they went out of their way to help since they seemed aware of how poor the customer service is from Ticketmaster.

The sad reality is most concert tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. This company takes the joy and fun out of attending concerts and events. If you decide to purchase, ensure you are happy with your seat, the location, and the date. This company is all about the money and will not even issue a Ticketmaster credit. The reality is as long as people continue to purchase through Ticketmaster, they will continue their practices.

The "Ticketmaster" experience is absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to take our exchange student to his first every concert and purchased tickets for his holiday gift. I waited in queue for pre-sale. Go the tickets - had to buy 4 when I really only wanted 2 anyway. Because the prices were so high the tickets haven't "sold as expected." And now, a week ahead of the event, the floor seats are literally half the price of my actual tickets (in the 300 section). And I'm not allowed to exchange them? I didn't even want the difference in the price back - literally just better seats. But since there are no better seats at equal or lesser value than what I originally paid, I'm unable to exchange. Or do anything but sit up high in my ridiculously priced seats.

It's shady, unfair, and really feels unethical. Blame the artist, the event organizer, or whoever you want. But ultimately Ticketmaster is the purchasing interface and that's the source everyone is going to be upset with. If you can have algorithms to enforce "demand pricing" then you can have a process in place to not alienate those trying to buy in advance. Do better.

We are extremely angry at a company of their size NOT having the technology to prevent their application from being able to operate for an event entry without crashing nonstop. We were only able to get 3 tickets scanned after holding the entry line up for 12 minutes trying to get tickets scanned before it crashed. We were clearly not the only people with the issue, but so many of them had printed or screenshotted tickets to gain entry.

We watched security leadership at the venue to basically start letting people in with the screenshot or printed off tickets after just looking at the tickets and date to make sure it just "looked legit" As the supervisors was telling people. We tried transferring as I'm sure the system shows and everything possible before finally having to be told to step aside unfortunately. We drove 1 hour 50 minutes one way for this event. I let my mother, daughter and wife go ahead while I sat in my vehicle for over 3 hours since I was the only male.

This is unacceptable for their company to force majeure digital tickets but they can't even keep your app functioning for people to be able to utilize it. We took screenshots of my Samsung S24 and Google system flagging your app. Needless to say, we will no longer utilize their platform if they're so poorly ran that they don't have business continuity plans in place for backup servers for volume or crashes to convert their platform to prevent these types of massive failures.

Thank goodness at least 3 of my group of four were able to get in and enjoy the show so it wasn't an entire waste. Again, they can't blame internet or wifi because my Samsung and Google platform clearly flagged it repeatedly as their mobile app issue. We'll be sure to share the experience, especially with it being a bucket lost item of mine. Ticketmaster was the biggest joke of the comedic show tonight and it should be embarrassing that the talent even called you out for it during the performance.

If you ever use Ticketmaster to purchase anything concert tickets that have "add-ons", BEWARE!!!!! The verbiage on their website is extremely misleading, ambiguous and confusing when purchasing tickets on it. In November of 2023, I purchased (2) “Meet & Greet” tickets for the April 11th, 2024 Scorpions event in Las Vegas. If you wish to go to the actual concert in addition to the Meet & Greet, you must purchase separate tickets for each. I spent $1,805 for what I thought was Meet & Greet AND the concert.

Actually, $292 of that was "service fees"; the only "service" I got from them was from behind. As you can see on pic of my purchase receipt, it indicates that I have purchased (2) tickets in the General Admission section, right in front of the stage. To me, that’s a very clear message that I had actual seats at the concert. Since I don't live in Nevada, I paid for a hotel room and airfare to Vegas, as well as incidentals such as transportation while in Vegas and meals, etc., in addition to the $1,805 I already spent for the damned tickets. Three hours before the Meet & Greet is to begin, I go pick up the tickets, which have actual seat numbers on each ticket, as you can see in the picture. Then, just below the seat numbers, it indicates that the tickets are not valid for admission to the show itself.

When I asked the girl at the box office to confirm that I had admission to the actual concert, I’m first told "probably", then I'm told “No”. Ticketmaster indicates on their website, that this “add-on” cannot be purchased without event tickets, i.e. admission to the concert, so how was I able to do just that? So, a mere 3 hours before the event I am told I don't have tickets to get into the concert, but I could go to the Meet & Greet. I’m then told that there were a few General Admission tickets left, and if I wanted to, I could purchase (2) for an additional $375. There was NO WAY I was going to shell out another penny for this! The only positive thing to come out of this was that Ticketmaster did give me a refund since, thankfully, I called them prior to the event to request it. So, after all this, I never did see the Scorpions concert, nor did I go to the Meet & Greet. My advice: DON’T USE TICKETMASTER TO PURCHASE EVENT TICKETS!!!!!

And because they're pre-sale tickets, they said they couldn't exchange them until they're publicly released.
