Ticketmaster charged me $2,437.20 during the Beyoncé presale on [date] due to dynamic pricing, causing me to pay $609 per ticket for seats that later dropped to $249 — in the same section. When I attempted to exchange for the now cheaper tickets, Ticketmaster would not allow it unless I paid even more. I am not asking for a refund, just the ability to exchange fairly for tickets at the current market rate without penalty. I will take a *now* lower priced ticket in a better section, and take the technical "monetary loss" as right now I have seats in Section 414 that are 2.5x the amount as FLOOR seats. This is deceptive and predatory, and I would like Ticketmaster to either allow me to exchange for a lesser value set of tickets or issue a full refund of the overcharged amount.

Ticketmaster is awful to work with. I'm currently trying to attend Dash Bash for motion designers. The price is listed at $550 and when I tried to buy the tickets, it took me to Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster has upped the price to $637, $87 more expensive than planned. There is a $40.72 service fee for Ticketmaster and $42.60 in taxes. I do not appreciate the fact that I was not warned about this beforehand.

I have ordered tickets through Ticketmaster before and never had a problem. Try to order some tickets today to an event. Tried three different cards and kept telling me that I had to speak with the fraud department. Was on the phone for 30 minutes on hold so I hung up. Then I reached out to customer service for Ticketmaster and the lady was clueless. Her name was Kate. All she kept saying was, "Well ma’am. You’ll have to call that number." They need to train their staff better to help people. I’m actually gonna go through StubHub because this has been an actual nightmare.

They have horrendous customer service and I will NEVER purchase tickets from them again. It's not like I pre-planned to fracture my ankle & leg.

The absolute worst company to purchase from as a customer. I called and asked to move my tickets to a closer seat within the stadium and was told they were unable to accommodate my request; that their hands were tied and some mysterious event organizer had their hands tied. We paid A LOT for our tickets and I wanted cheaper, but closer seats, but it was not possible. I called to try and sort things out and the representative on the other end of the phone called me a week later than they said I would get a call AND was incredibly rude on the phone. HORRIBLE company to work with. I'm hoping a new ticket service company will be popping up soon. I have no desire to ever work with them again.

Possibly the greediest company to exist; up there with pharmaceuticals, lawyers and oil companies. I bought $80 face value tickets. Since the event had high interest, the ticket prices escalated as we were purchasing them through the Ticketmaster website. In the process of around 5 minutes, we paid $330 per ticket. That's because of Ticketmaster's greed algorithm. Also, now if you sell tickets on Ticketmaster, you only get paid after the event. So, they get paid now, they hold your money and you get paid after the show.

I purchased tickets during a presale event, assuming I was getting the best price. However, when tickets went on sale to the general public, I discovered that better seats were available for $150 less than what I had paid. This is deceptive pricing, as presale customers are led to believe they are receiving exclusive benefits, only to later find out they overpaid. When I contacted Ticketmaster for a refund or price adjustment, they refused to offer any resolution, stating that all sales are final. This business practice is unfair to loyal customers and appears to be a way to manipulate pricing to maximize profits at the consumer’s expense. Ticketmaster should be transparent about pricing and offer price adjustments when significant discrepancies occur. I will think twice before participating in a presale again.

Why would I want to purchase separated seats? But the purchase still went through. I tried to get a refund or an exchange, and it was no possible. So I was forced to buy expensive seat tickets that were not together, and then I can't get a refund. Selling single seats that are not together, is going to be a pain to sell. I think it's extremely sloppy look to pressure people to only purchase through the app or website when you can purchase over the phone what is the point of having customer service. I verified this again today and then I found out that when I was supposed to wait for the 2-minute review survey the representative Allen who seem to be from India, a lot of the representatives are from India or overseas, they always got somebody from India answering these calls that didn't even direct me to the review like he was supposed to instead I was on stall on the line till I finally hung up. They're they're a rip-off.

I believe if you're going to have call centers overseas, sell American consumer tickets and I don't want to sound like that but it's true. These people overseas fall short comment and incompetent with satisfying the needs like simply transfer me to the review instead. This is a reflection of Ticketmaster with ill practices of people who feel pressured to satisfy the job to keep so much tight knit of people overseas by paying them less, this and they're not equipped to deal with the public if this is the case. I don't understand why Ticketmaster can't take regular payments when that's what everybody does over the phone. This would have been my first way to buy concert tickets but it certainly wasn't and it won't be my beginning. I'll never consider them again.

Resold my tickets on the Ticketmaster app before I sold my tickets, during the resell process and after they were sold I was told 3 separate times I would receive my payout within 5-7 days after my payment information was verified. My payment information was verified, I call to confirm everything was good which it was. They then let me know their policy has changed and I wouldn’t receive my payout until 5-7 days after the event which is months away. Nowhere before, during or after the resell process was this new policy stated. The customer care rep stated the information I was giving was old and not update. Not sure why Ticketmaster has not updated their policy a month after it was changed. It's false information and false advertising seeing they stated “sell your tickets and receive payment with 5-7 days”.

I’m extremely frustrated, the lack of accountability is mind blowing. I will NEVER buy tickets from them again, seeing they like to lie and cheat people out of their money and hold it until they feel fit. The reason I was given was incase the event is cancelled or the buyer of my tickets return the tickets. That has nothing to do with me Ticketmaster received double payment and pocketed money off my resell so there’s absolutely not reason to hold my money.

I wasn’t going to write a review until I realized my terrible experience with Ticketmaster was not unique. Indeed, it’s pretty common. I bought tickets to a Jan. 23 show for 8 PM. I purchased the tickets Dec. 4 at 11:30 AM, hoping to have actual tickets as a Christmas gift. I also paid extra for UPS second day air. Instead, Ticketmaster put a delay until Jan. 9 on the tickets. I was a little disappointed not to have actual tickets to wrap up, but no problem. It was still a nice surprise for my husband.

Until Jan 9 came and went, and every time I checked Ticketmaster’s website, they said my tickets weren’t quite ready. I finally contacted customer service via their chat feature and was assured my tickets were valid and would be delivered on time. I finally got a UPS tracking number on January 17, with an estimated delivery date of 3 PM on Jan. 23, the same day as the show. That’s cutting it far too close. But it gets worse.

I kept tracking the UPS order, which Ticketmaster created on the Friday late afternoon of a three day weekend. UPS guarantees 3 business day delivery, not weekend delivery. Ticketmaster never took that into consideration. On Jan. 23, UPS changed the delivery estimate to deliver by 7 PM for this 8 PM show. In other words, too late to actually get to the show on time.

Fortunately, I was able to get a customer service rep on the phone, my third phone call to them in a week of begging them to send my tickets, and they were able to deactivate the paper tickets and send my tickets to Will Call. I am luckier than some people who never got their tickets at all, even when they ordered e-tickets online. But it was a miserable, stress filled experience with a criminally irresponsible company.

I don’t even know how they get away with failing to deliver tickets and refusing to give a refund when it’s their fault. That’s illegal. It’s stealing. It’s also breach of contract. Why are they still legally operating in the U.S.? I’d urge customers to find alternatives to Ticketmaster. They seem to fail to deliver and to steal your money with impunity.

Then they changed the entire date of my event to a day that I could not attend and refused to give refunds or credit. They said I had to sell them myself. Using their site to try to sell them they gouge the seller and the buyer with fees. They shouldn’t be able to charge fees to both the buyer and the seller. I wasn’t able to sell them and they wouldn’t give a refund despite the fact that the date was changed to a date that I couldn’t attend. Ticketmaster has no integrity and terrible customer service. When attempting to deal with their customer service the reps lie and pass you around to other reps in an effort to get you to give up. NEVER use Ticketmaster. Now I know and if it’s between going to event that only sells with Ticketmaster or not going, I just won’t go. I will NEVER use Ticketmaster again.

The ticket purchasing system is flawed. In the last month I bought tickets to two shows (which is rare), and the system asked me to change my password at every login even though the previous password was not expired or locked out. And there are technical flaws on the system.. It kept asking me to fill in sections that were already filled in and it kept stalling and timing out... Waste of time. Other apps work just fine.. It's definitely not my computer that's too slow, it's the design and functionality of the ticket purchasing system. I'm definitely not going to use Ticketmaster anymore.

So far my personal experience reselling tickets with Ticketmaster has been nothing but troublesome. Sold my tickets due to unforeseen circumstances and needed my cash back and listed them lower than what I paid for with all the fees and they still want to charge fees for selling them without refunding the fees paid in the original purchase. Says to add a verified payout method and refund method in case the buyer cancels the event. It's been a week and haven't received my "verification deposits" to verify my account. It says payment would be deposited 5-7 days after ticket is sold but they fail to hold up to their word. You would think once they receive their payment it should be transferred to you in a timely matter. No. They hold onto the funds for however long they want.

Now if you list tickets it says you won't be paid til 7 days after the event. So in all fairness why can't they give us tickets and we pay them after the event? Ridiculous right? Don't sell with them. Why even have to refund a buyer if they cancel if they won't refund the original purchase also?? Something isn't right. Trust me when I say stay away or don't sell your tickets here.

The way the site works is people/bots buy up tickets as soon as they become available then they resell them at absorbent prices. The reseller pays &30 for a parking pass. You now have to pay $80 plus an additional $40 in fees and taxers. They put not limits, rules or regulations on these resellers but you as the buyer cant get a refund for anything. You agree that no matter the circumstances you can’t get a refund. Your only option is to resell at an even greater price to recoup your costs thus perpetuating the cycle.

I explained there was only 1 ticket choice to pick from and there are no dots or anything in the ticket detail stating these couldn't be resold. We just had someone hack Christopher James French Ticketmaster account, so we changed the password however if the hacker selected stay signed in there is nothing that Ticketmaster can or will do to kick them off of his account. Every other account that I own right down to Disney Plus allows you to see anywheres where your account is logged in and select log out of all devices, nope not Ticketmaster. So I called them and had his account pushed up to escalations, where they have also confirmed that there is no way that they can log out of the account on every device that it's been logged into, regardless of if I'm telling them we do not own the device.

I don't understand how it is even legally allowed to be considered a secure ticketing platform. Especially given the fact that they allow you to store your MasterCard information on your account. Absolutely God awful. The only way to completely stop other people from being on his account at this point is if we delete the account and start over from scratch, thankfully we have no tickets on there so this is an option for us. If not, from this point forward, every time we purchase a ticket using his Ticketmaster we are at risk of the tickets being transferred out of his account, and there's literally nothing Ticketmaster is going to do about it.

But what about two-factor authentication, don't even get me started on how big of a joke their two-factor authentication is. You should have to get a code every time you're signing in from a new device or before you transfer any tickets right? NOPE, that's not the case, the only time that you need to use two-factor authentication is if you try to make a change to the password or you know if you want to join a queue.

Ticketmaster needs to be investigated, this has to be illegal, they have no cybersecurity and hold personal details of thousands of people, including credit card information on file at all times. So if any of my friends have their credit card information stored on Ticketmaster please be aware that you should remove it immediately, because God forbid your account get hacked there is quite literally no way truly get it back and know it is secure.

I purchased tickets in July 2024 for an event for December 4th. I was supposed to receive the tickets on December 3rd, one day before the event!! I found this a little strange, but I just followed instructions and waited as I was told to do. I did not receive the tickets on the date I was told (December 3rd). I called the following morning, and the customer service rep. said I would receive the tickets later that day. Waited until noon and spoke with a different representative. I was told the same thing; to wait and check the app and I should have them well before the event. Remember, this is roughly seven hours before the event started and I don't have my tickets yet, but was reassured by the rep. that I would receive them.

Later in the day, I decided to head to the event (without tickets) hoping and trusting what they had told me earlier about the tickets. I called ticket master again while I was driving to the event. After an hour on the phone, I was able to get to a rep. and then I was transferred to a different person, but not without waiting for another 20 or so minutes. I was told that my case was being escalated and that I would have my tickets before the start of the event at 7:30 PM. By now the time was around 6:30 PM. According to the representative the tickets would be transferred to me by email.

Fast forward to 7:20 PM. I arrive at the event and park my car after paying $40 for parking. I wait for the email. I get it and read it. In a few words they are cancelling my order and refunding my money. I asked the rep. to call which he never did. All I was able to do is complain by email replying to the one they had just sent me. This is frustrating to say the least. I was embarrassed with my wife of 27 years, yes embarrassed because I purchased the tickets 5-6 months in advance and yet I did not have them. Embarrassed because I should have never trusted these people to do what they were supposed to do. Embarrassed because I took the day off work, had babysitter arrangements and had driven to the event two and a half hours for NOTHING!

They did not give me a good reason to cancel my order/tickets, they just cancelled the order like it was nothing. No accountability at all. Just like everything else, we're just numbers and our concerns or issues at the time are discarded like trash. No second thoughts or regrets on their side about what they are doing. They managed to spoil a night for a couple that was supposed to be a great night. So, we just drove to San Diego and back home. I drove back with a feeling that they had just stepped all over my pride and left me looking like a total idiot in front of my wife. I know that by writing this nothing will happen, but I'm just venting. Hopefully whoever reads this learns not to trust people like this in this company. Have a blessed day.

Here's a concise breakdown of Ticketmaster's major issues:
    1. Deceptive Fee Structure.
    - Hidden "convenience fees" often exceeding 30% of ticket price.
    - Multiple layered charges revealed only after significant time investment.

    - Dynamic pricing that turns concerts into bidding wars.

    2. Monopolistic Control.
    - 2010 Live Nation merger created unprecedented control over venues, promotion, and ticketing.
    - Survived Pearl Jam's 1990s Congressional testimony challenge.

    - Maintains iron grip on venue contracts despite public opposition.

    3. Anti-Consumer Practices.
    - Forces account creation and data sharing.
    - Mobile-only ticket system locks users into their ecosystem.

    - "Verified Fan" program creates false sense of fairness while acting as lottery system.

    4. Artificial Scarcity Tactics.
    - Reserves large ticket blocks for special programs and presales.
    - Forces fans to join multiple presale programs and obtain specific credit cards.

    - Profits twice through their own resale platform.

    5. Technical Failures.
    - Major system crashes during high-demand events (like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour).

    - Deflects blame to "unprecedented demand" rather than addressing system inadequacies.

Despite lawsuits, investigations, and unified opposition from fans, musicians, and politicians, Ticketmaster continues these practices due to their market dominance.

I Joined Ticketmaster yesterday (Nov-2024) to get tickets for a once-only PWHL hockey tour game - something for two senior citizens to enjoy in person, perhaps for the only opportunity in our lifetime. What a disappointment, throughout, from my interaction with Ticketmaster! Their website has a timer - it forces clients through their orders as fast as possible, with virtually no time to read "details". After a few attempts, I bought 2 tickets, and was then told that I wasn't allowed to print a physical copy, but told only "Mobile" phone tickets can be used. I only use my mobile phone for voice calls and rare texting. I have no intention of loading an unwanted extra App onto my phone, and then gamble if there's no guarantee of a working Wi-fi connection when I get to the event location to present my "Mobile" ticket for entry. With this deal-killing no-printing restriction, I asked for a refund; and was told "No, it's our policy".

I was simply ambushed by the whole process of dealing with Ticketmaster. I'm left with the feeling that this corporation just can't get money in fast enough, and to hell with anyone who has an issue with their arcane inflexible online system and unhelpful customer support. Ticketmaster conveyed to me a strong image of a firm lying well within the corporate psychopath spectrum - no authentic empathy, a policy-mandated lack of concern; ('it's our policy, so no, a refund is not possible'); unwarranted pressure on others to get what they want - your money (yes, they really do have a deadman timer forcing clients to wade through their website and complete an order before it times-out and requires a re-start of a ticket order over again at the beginning); and, they're outwardly charismatic (lots of glitzy self-promotion) to attract customers; just to mention a few telltales.

If you don't like being 'sort-of deceived', put under unnecessary pressure, dealing with an entity that sees it's transactions as a one-way track that's only for their benefit, or dealing with a firm that mocks the meaning of "customer service", then avoid using Ticketmaster at all costs. This old man will never use them again.

Their customer service line sits for hours without an answer and their chat gets nowhere as well. The company has adopted a "DGAF about the consumer" mentality since they know that they are the go to online retailer. They don't have anything to gain from providing an appropriate level of service to their clients so instead they are rude and ignore questions/concerns.

I purchased tickets for a show 7 weeks ago and attempted to utilize a concert cash code. The website coincidently glitched during checkout and deleted the code, which I did not realize until I had already purchased the tickets. I reached out to them MINUTES after this happened in an attempt to utilize the code and/or get the amount refunded to me. It took over a week for a response through their online chat other than an automated response, and then I was told that the code had expired (over a week later, shockingly) so there wasn't anything they could do.

I explained the issue several times and asked for the issue to be escalated to the next level. It is now weeks later and when I reach out to them I am told "we will get back to you in 3-5 days" but they don't actually call or email back. Absolutely ridiculous. They are just waiting it out hoping I get frustrated and stop reaching out to them. What doesn't make a difference to their bottom line means a huge difference to the consumer, but the company couldn't care less.

Shortly before the date we both had a change of plans. No big deal, I would just list for sale and likely take a loss which I was fine with. I had previously transferred the ticket to my friend and she transferred back to me to sell. I called tm to have them sold as a pair which is obviously more desirable than single tickets. They told me that because I had transferred it they couldn’t put them back together even though both tickets were in my account. Again, not a huge issue but another example of tm doing anything possible to create a miserable customer experience.

If you don’t buy the tickets during the presale, forget about it — you'll have to pay at least four times more. The website keeps freezing, and I can’t buy my tickets for a decent price (around $140). Now I need to spend over $400 to get them. It’s unfair to people who just want to enjoy the concert, since most people buy tickets to resell them and make a profit! Not to mention the huge fees you have to pay. This is ridiculous!

Ticketmaster is one of the very most consumer 'unfriendly' websites out there! Tried to buy tickets to a local concert; it had been a while since I'd done that, mostly because there haven't been that many local performances of interest to us. In choosing seats, we noticed that most 'good' seats were those with the scalped prices. We avoided those, choosing some 'next best' alternatives, then the 'march against the clock' to pay for the tickets. That's when it got interesting.

Ticketmaster apparently didn't like how long it had been since we'd last made a purchase from them, so we had to 'update' our account, while the clock was annoyingly ticking away. We did that then went to enter the credit card data and just a few seconds before we got the CV code entered, the clock ran out! Then we got a message that the tickets were no longer available! We tried the back button to see if we could find those seats again and they were 'grayed out' as 'unavailable.' Ticketmaster lost some business tonight! I wonder how many performers realize the loss in ticket sales that they are probably experiencing because of Ticketmaster's jack** policies!

The other one blocked me after I accepted it and it wouldn't let me add it to my wallet so it just deleted the ticket. I don't care if this website says it's the cheapest. When contacting them I was pretty much told “too bad for you” since I didn’t pay the extra charge to make them refundable. Figured if anything happened, I could sell them as it’s likely to be a sold out concert. Not likely I could resell them after paying triple what they were worth. Oh, well. Live and learn. I don’t attend many concerts and assumed buying tickets on line would be a straightforward process. Never occurred to me there were companies out there ripping people off this way. I had these Maverick City Music tickets transferred to me almost 3 months ago now and the Ticketmaster app logged me out about a month after and said for security reasons I needed to change my password but that account was with linked to an email I no longer had access to so I wasn’t able to go in and change my password. I immediately call them and explain everything and filed a claim to change my email and update my phone number and they said I'd get a call back in 1-3 business days. Never got a call, I call them a week later asking for an update and they never even filed the claim so I asked to redo the claim and again they said they’d call back in 1-3 business days. ONCE AGAIN never got a call so I call back again and the claim was NOT filed! At this point I’m frustrated because “customer support” was doing everything but supporting.

This time they said there was nothing they could do for me without confirming my identity (which they couldn’t do without my email/number. They said I had to contact the person that transferred the tickets to me which I did and there was nothing she could do either because the tickets had already been transferred. I called back the support number and they said they were sending me a confirmation number to verify my identity before they could help me, we got nowhere because I’ve repeatedly told them I can’t get into that email, they said they’d call me with an update on my claim the day after. Fast forward a week later, my concert is TOMORROW. I called them and was on hold for 45 minutes before someone answers and asks me to explain the issue, I told her I’ve filed about 4 claims and I’m needing an update.

She said my case is still open and I reminded her this is the 4th claim, 7th phone call and all they had to do was change my email❗️ She noticed a change in my tone of voice and HUNG UP THE PHONE! I call back and was on hold for another 20 minutes, ironically the same lady that hung up the first time also picked up the second call. I told her I need an update and she says my case is still open for verification and that I would receive a phone call before the concert which again is TOMORROW. I am so frustrated and upset because this was the only thing I was doing with my family for my birthday. It’s the only birthday money I had in all honesty. I don’t know what else to do. Two of these tickets were for sale at stubhub but I had to pull the sale advertisement because I didn't have the tickets. A few weeks later, about 6 days before the concert, the 4 tickets were transferred back to me. However, the 2 tickets that were for sale were now unsellable because it was so close to the concert date. And one of the other 2 tickets was not honored at the concert venue (and my friend had to buy a ticket from a scalper). So Ticketmaster owes me $864 (for the two tickets I couldn't sell because of the unlawful transfer and the one ticket that was not accepted at the venue).

Ticketmaster has monopolized the ticketing pool for major concerts and events. It is such an unfortunate situation because they constantly make things difficult for consumers. I purchased tickets for a concert back in February for a concert in October. I had issues with seeing my tickets in my account once October came around. When you call the customer service line, you will be on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes before someone answers. I know this to be true because I have been calling approximately every three days since the tickets were discovered to be missing from my account. The calls are stated to be "escalated" and then they say to wait for a call back. I have repeated this process five times now and no resolution.

I will be reporting the ticket purchase as fraud if as solution is not found. It doesn't make any sense to me, because I can contact the venue directly, explain my situation, and they have told me that the two tickets were indeed purchased by me and Ticketmaster should be able to provide them to me so I can attend the concert. Called Ticketmaster and on hold for 25 min before someone who did not clearly speak English (I'm not racist but if I can't understand you, how am I supposed to communicate with you) who said they will file a ticket with the fraud dept (so apparently this happens a lot) and they will call me within 3-5 days and return my tickets. 8 days goes by so I call them and another 30 min on hold to someone who also speaks broken English who put me on another hold saying that because my event is one month away, it'll take longer to "look into it"...then don't tell me 3-5 days!!! I understand the person on the phone is not responsible for what the first person told me but don't lie to your customers! I'll see if I ever get those tickets back and I will never use Ticketmaster again.

Ticketmaster is one of the most unethical and dishonest companies I’ve ever dealt with. Last week I purchased what I thought were artist VIP Banquette tickets during the artist's presale. On the artist's site it stated ALL banquette tables came with meet and greet and photos artist VIP perks. During the presale, both the artist VIP and venue VIP tickets were released.

    1. This should not have happened as many of us believed they were all the artist VIP tickets. The wording on the Ticketmaster site was also very vague.
    2. I found out that fans were being refunded for purchasing the incorrect tickets. After being on hold forever, the first customer service agent said there was nothing that could be done.

    3. I called again speaking to a different rep who told me if I purchased more expensive tickets I would be refunded. I found out that other fans did not purchase more expensive tickets and were refunded.

I called back speaking to a third representative who escalated the situation and said a supervisor would call me back. I also opened a chat that went unanswered for days as well as an Instant Messenger on Facebook which still hasn’t been answered. Also during the ticket purchasing process I had multiple payments declined. After waiting all day without a return call, I called Ticketmaster again speaking to another person who stated my ticket was still open and a supervisor would call me back but suggested I call Allianz Global to inquire about a refund. I called the insurance company who told me purchasing the wrong tickets is not covered. I stated this in my still unanswered chat. Over the weekend I was told via chat my ticket was closed without ever receiving a call from a supervisor.

This week I received an email saying the event organizer was reviewing my case as did a friend of mine. She received notice she was being refunded. Today I received notice I am not being refunded. To summarize, they chose to refund some people but not everyone that was misled by the artist and Ticketmaster which is unfair and unethical. More artists need to stand up and refuse to do business with this company. It has only gotten worse since they merged with Live Nation and they have a monopoly on ticket sales. They also should not be allowed to own the venues where concerts are held. This whole thing has soured me on both the artist and Ticketmaster. If we the people refuse to pay their exorbitant fees and pricing, they won’t fill the venues. It will hurt both them and the artist.

On September 7, 2024, I was supposed to attended a concert with my 3 family members and my self, it was a birthday present to myself, and we were very excited to get into the concert. Upon arrival I checked my tickets for the scanning codes and realized there were no codes. I ask my daughter to look into it and she said, "Mom why does it say the tickets were sold." I immediately went into panic mode. I called customer service and was connected to this cold, not willing to help with any solutions and was just told those tickets are gone, I would have to make a complaint. At this point I was so devastated. Here I am with my family all dressed up ready to enjoy this concert that I have been waiting for over 6 months and to just be told tickets are gone. Apparently Ticketmaster allowed someone to fraudulently get into my account and sell my tickets. I did not authorize any sell of my tickets or did I receive any notice of my tickets being sold.

This was an inside job. In frustration, and tears I ended up buying these last minute bad seats because I was embarrassed and couldn't let us not see the concert at all... We spent our hard-earned money on... weeks and hours of work just to be turned away and treated like garbage when I am a paying customer! To be told only to contact ****??? I did contact customer service and I received responses only telling me this is being passed on to fraud dept and someone will get back to me. It's been over 4 weeks and still no refund or anything. This was horrible treatment and I will never use Ticketmaster again.

This is also the second fraud that has happen to my tickets. After purchasing my tickets a few weeks later someone got into my Ticketmaster account and customer service. By-pass the security measures that are set up and allowed this person to transfer my tickets to themselves. I was able to talk to talk to customer service and they were able to get the tickets back since the concert hadn't happen yet.

Ticketmaster is crap. Do Not sell your tickets through them. Don't take my word for it. Google it. I made the mistake of not checking just thinking they are a huge company. They do everything they can not to pay you. Also, they didnt release my tickets to us until 1 hour before the event. We thought we were screwed so didn't make the 2 hour trip and missed the event. They released them 1 hour before, which was too late for us. We put the tickets up for sale. They sold, after they take out all the fees. You get half of your initial purchase. Then!!! Now we can't get paid for the damn tickets. Never again man. Do your own research, this is posted all over the internet. This could ruin your family whole week like it did ours, and lose half your money. Still haven't paid by the way. Hope this saves someone else from a terrible experience.

Went to a concert and one of the acts did not show up, which is who I wanted to see, Ticketmaster stated they don’t owe me anything but legally one of their employees stated that they do since the musical act was on the actual ticket. Was told that a manager would call me back within 48 hours, and no one ever called. I called again and never received a call. This is such a big organization that they can hide behind their poor Customer Service. I feel that if more people speak out how horrible they are other places that have provided good customer service and Tickets will surely bury this company.

Ticketmaster is the WORST. I paid for a parking pass with the purchase of my tickets to an event in Chicago. My tickets showed up in the Ticketmaster app, the parking pass did not show up. I used the "Chat" feature numerous times. Each rep kept giving me the exact same info each time. NONE of that info fixed my problem. This went on for over a week. I called customer service. After waiting over 30 minutes, someone finally got on the line. She also went through the same steps as all of the chat members. When none of those steps worked, she then insisted I didn't actually need the parking pass..?? I think they are full of it. If I really didn't need the parking pass, it would have been made clear the first time I reached out. All of the fees are over the top to begin with, but to NOT receive "Extras" that you pay for is criminal.

I had purchased 5 tickets for the Packers vs Titans game. The night before the game I was going to show my son where our seats were. When I went to their site, I had a message saying that my tickets were canceled and that my money had been refunded. They had all of my info, my email address and my cellphone number and did not have the common courtesy of emailing messaging me or calling me. All of this after having driven the 10 hours to Nashville I was super pissed. Not even an explanation as to why.

Whenever I try to call them I am put on hold. I patiently wait for over 20 minutes and then hang up. I am a 72 year old man and I am not going to spend the rest of my days waiting for an answer. We were down here to celebrate my birthday because it was the same day as the game. Fortunately StubHub still had some available. They were better seats and I saved $400 on them compared to Ticketmaster. That company can kiss me where the sun doesn't shine!

Which was odd because you want to be prepared before you leave for the game. I traveled hours and booked a hotel for the weekend. My tickets weren't available the day before or when I wanted to leave for the tailgate. I was frustrated and embarrassed. My friend who was attending the game with me was embarrassed. Customer service at Ticketmaster gave me the runaround. Tickets I had paid for months ago. They never got back to me; the game started, and we are outside only able to hear the cheers. Customer service finally got back to me days later, still with same runaround. Worst service. Never dealing with them for tickets of any kind again.

Ticketmaster has the worst customer service ever. I bought tickets in June for a concert. The day before the concert (in Sept) it wouldn’t let me log into my acct I’ve had for years, saying the acct did not exist. That couldn’t be right, because they literally emailed me a confirmation of the purchase to that email. I couldn’t use the service chat because I could not log in and it requires you to be logged in. I called customer service at 8 am when they opened. Was put on hold for 30 mins. This was call #1. I was told my acct had been broken into and someone had changed my email address on there. Despite being able to validate everything else (order number, phone number, name, credit card etc) they refused to give me my tickets. I was told they had to escalate it to fraud and would receive a call. This is the DAY OF the concert. 4 hours go by, nothing. No call. I call back (call #2) this time I’m on hold for an hour.

I’m told the first agent never even put a ticket through to the fraud department at all. The second person puts one through and says yet again I’ll be contacted shortly by them. 3 more hours goes by… nothing. I call back (call #3) and am told AGAIN I’ll be contacted by them VERY SHORTLY as my concert is quickly approaching. Once again I remind them I have ALL the info I just can’t access my ticket barcodes. THREE MORE HOURS GO BY. At this point I have to leave for the event in an hour. No call. Nothing. I call back (call #4) and am told “maybe you can try to buy new tickets at the box office”. I’m told that there’s nothing they can do and that I should now pay for duplicate tickets, and that they have no idea when or if fraud department will call me at all. Ticketmaster is absolute trash.

I was promised a call from a supervisor within 24-48 hours - did not happen. The event is tomorrow, and still have no resolution. I have been kept in the dark about the resolution process and expected outcomes. Because of this, I bought new tickets elsewhere, at a considerable expense. Ticketmaster sold me a fake resale ticket for the Def Leppard/Journey/Steve Miller Band concert in at Nissan Stadium in Nashville TN for 7/20/24. They have played games ever since. Over the years; especially over the last 3 years I have bought literally hundreds of concert tickets through them without issue. Better hope you never have an issue because they will not fix it. The resale ticket they sold me did not have a scan bar, was fake, and wasn’t even a real seat number. The ticket would not scan first of all so I couldn’t get in and second of all even if I could get in, the seat number did not exist in the whole stadium.

I have called them literally 17 times in total beginning with 4 times on the 20th of July. After going through their awful prompts to ever get to a person at “customer service” I am told each and every time they can NOTHING for me and would have to transfer me to the resale department. The resale department never answers the phone morning, day, or night. I wasted $252.06 on a ticket I never got to use plus $53.50 for parking I never got to use and plus the cost of a rental car and traveling 4.5 hours to Nashville and then back. What a waste of my time and money.

I finally turned it in to my credit card company for them to dispute this charge because I was sold a bogus ticket and guess what? Ticketmaster is fighting it because the concert wasn’t cancelled. Well guess what? The concert was cancelled for me because you sold me a fake ticket that could not be used which had a seat number that did NOT even exist. They gave me a seat number of 950 which does not exist. Section 121 Row N seat 950 does not exist. The seats are all 1-12 in each and every row. I have been to 2 more concerts through Ticketmaster since this because I had already purchased those tickets and I have two more shows pending through ticketmaster that I also had already bought before this happened but never again.

I will never ever never ever buy another ticket through Ticketmaster ever again. If my only choice is Ticketmaster then I won’t be going. I won’t be scammed again and I certainly won’t play one sided phone tag with Ticketmaster ever again. Their customer service sucks and they also claim whenever I call that there is never ever a supervisor there to help me and that I can only call and get no help. I’ve told customer service literally 16 times that no one ever answers in the resale department and what do they do? They transfer me over there anyways. This company has gone downhill and they will be bought out by some company one day and rebranded into another piece of trash under another name. I was scammed by Ticketmaster and they have done absolutely nothing to make it right. They don’t care. They do not care if the tickets they sell you are legit or not.
