In October, I flew to England to watch Cleveland Browns professional football game. Your app went down and I was unable to get into the game. You all comped me with a refund for the money I spent on the ticket. Now I have this gift card and I want to use it on a Cleveland Browns professional football game that I missed because of your app going down. After having to call because a gift card payment type was not available, I was told that, "Even though you missed a pro football game because of us, we ain't going to let you use that gift card on a pro football game." What's up with that? Can I just get my cash back? **.

I was given a $350 gift card for TicketMaster. That card can only be used on tickets sold by Ticketmaster directly. But Ticket Master doesn't have tickets for sale directly anymore. EVERYTHING is bought up immediate and sold as resale. And you can't use gift cards on Resale. Which means... Ticketmaster gift cards are a total scam and they are useless. The responsible thing to do would be to regulate sales to all those damn 3rd party sellers.

I purchased Egg Bowl tickets on Ticketmaster.com. I have purchased tons of tickets from them however I guess they have not been resale tickets before. They emailed me my ticket but said, "This isn't your ticket. You will get another email to download your ticket." I never saw the email to download my ticket from a lady named Jamie, her email went to my spam folder so when I arrived at the game I only had emails from Ticketmaster and tickets that said this is not your ticket yet but luckily the lady let us inside the stadium. When I contacted Ticketmaster they were like, "Well you got in didn't you." even though I never downloaded my actual tickets from Jamie.

Bought tickets for an event earlier this year. Concert was moved to a new date November 15 and we had to resell tickets. In August we re-sold our tickets on Ticketmaster and as requested, we verified our bank account with Ticketmaster, so as to receive funds. Was notified we will get funds seven days after the event takes place. Event held November 15, November 22 no funds. Called Ticketmaster and told funds would be in next day November 24th.. November 24 no funds… Just called again, was told processing wasn’t done till November 21st and no payment till November 28… 13 days after concert and 93 days after Ticketmaster received our money for the tickets… Feels to me like the process is being delayed to make extra money off of customers money on the bank float… I'm sure a more competitive marketplace might help get this fixed.. Especially given the exorbitant fees I paid to buy the tickets and then paid again to resell them…

We went to the MET for the “Twilight in Concert,” we were surprised by how everything completely went. Before we went we spent 2 HOURS trying to get our tickets from Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster did not upload our tickets prior the event, even though we paid in advanced in August of 2025. After we got to the MET, which was hosted by Ticketmaster (disclaimer none in which is the MET's fault, just Ticketmaster) which in no sort of explanation or prior knowledge we could not see ANY of which the left side of the screen which was showing the movie. This obstruction was caused by speakers for the movie that we were unaware of while buying these tickets. This was never brought up, which we thought was a good view that we paid $200 plus.
We tried multiple times once we got to the event trying to move our seats, bringing in most managers to the attention we were seeking about this obstruction. Fortunately we, from most, got to see more of the screen compared to other patrons. After this erroneous occurrence we thought we could have a possible good night, which in fact was the COMPLETE opposite. This concert was from 7:30-10:00, with a 30 minute intermission. We watched the whole movie that had music, there was an orchestra/band, and a singer. That you could barely hear. The singer from the four hours sang in total 6 times for about 30 seconds increments (sorry if I spelled that wrong) which we did NOT in fact know.
The other instruments were very inaudible due to the volume of sound the movie was playing at. Which the instrumental parts that were originally in the movie were kept in!! So in the end we basically watched a movie that we paid $200 plus that BARELY was even a concert. Now knowing myself I am not usually like this but these extreme conditions were not $200 worth. It would probably be better to just watch it at home. So SAVE YOUR MONEY because this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Ticketmaster.

I recently purchased 12th row orchestra seats for an upcoming show in Albany, GA (Manheim Steamroller) and paid top dollar for the event, $70/ticket. The venue was then changed to a new site and my 12th row orchestra seats exchanged for far right balcony seats. Not comparable at all. I chose the orchestra seats near an aisle as I have a broken leg with limited mobility.
I contacted Ticketmaster who told me they could not issue a refund as the event organizers have a policy of no refunds for any reason. Even fraud. Selling one class of tickets and then replacing them with an inferior product without offering an option to decline is fraud. Not even the airlines do that. In addition, when I asked for a number to call the organizers to argue my point, I was told there was no contact number available. That is convenient. No option to opt out of the change and no way to argue about it. Seems fair to me.
I would avoid Ticketmaster if at all possible. Unfortunately, they have a stranglehold on many events today, being a virtual monopoly. To sell tickets while being the only outlet to purchase through for the event and then claim they are powerless to assist, the enormous monopoly that they are, is totally disingenuous. Why would they care about their customers getting robbed? They got their “convenience fee” so what incentive do they have to assist? The system is completely rigged against the little consumer, without who they would have no business.

The guy says it hasn't been working on androids, do I have a barcode? NO. I spent the afternoon on the phone trying to get a barcode, and it hasn't worked! So, I have to GET OUT OF LINE and go to the ticket booth to get a physical ticket. The venue was standing room only, sold out show! I lost my spot in line and lost my chance at a better spot to see the show! Bring back barcodes! Tap to pay is not more efficient, it just makes everything harder. The app and website are constantly having issues. More times than not, I have to delete the app and reinstall it before it will even work. If I'm on my laptop or desktop, I have to clear all my history, cache and cookies. This wouldn't be a problem except, sometimes tickets sell out fast. Or sometimes you're trying to get your ticket to load to get inside a venue and it won't so you have to hold up the whole line. Or you're trying to download your ticket to your virtual wallet prior to a show and you can't log in. You'd think as much money as Ticketmaster collects for fees they could do better!

I have never gone out of my way more than what I am doing with Ticketmaster. For years now some other person linked their phone number to my account and ticketmaster has not been able to help me whatsoever, in fact their advice was to delete my account and make a new one even though there are tickets on my account.
After hours of phone calls, bad attitudes, refusal to help, they would tell me the same thing which was "just go to the event and show them your bank card and ID and they will let you in". That would be great.... considering the fact that I would start by telling them I cannot go to this certain event due to health reasons and I need to sell or transfer tickets.... which require the phone number.... that I cannot change because it is some random person's number not linked to me or anyone I know. I would give all of my information, numbers, IDs, order numbers, etc and still they cannot correct this mistake. I refuse to use ticketmaster ever again. Thank you for wasting my money and time.

And when the system has had it with the customer, instead of allowing for any extension of time to finish, the system just ABRUPTLY kicks the customer off. NO queries "still there?" or "need more time?" NADA. Too bad I can't buy event tickets directly from TPUSA.

I had signed up weeks ago to buy pre-sale tickets to see Rush. I purchased 4 tickets in Toronto. They were very expensive but I have been a devoted Rush fan since the 1980's. The initial Rush shows that were planned and that I had signed up to buy pre-sale for, sold out. So the band and promoter decided to add more shows. I decided that I wanted to bring a high school kid who is a huge Rush fan but has never had the opportunity to see them. So at 11:45 am, before the pre-sale tickets for the newly added shows went live (at noon) I jumped on to enter the queue. But I received an error message saying that I wasn't signed up for these new shows. So I tried to edit my presale show choices, since those shows were sold out anyway, but there was no way to do that.
So I used the Ticketmaster chat to seek help from an agent. After their automated system failed to address my concern, a person joined the chat. They took some time to "look into" how to edit my pre-sale choices, and by the time they got back to me, it was after 12 pm, the tickets were already being sold, and they told me that it was not possible to edit my pre-sale choices. They also told me that they have no control over this and that allowing me to buy presale tickets to other shows was up to the promoter.
If Ticketmaster systems are being used, but do not allow customers to edit their initial pre-sale choices, even on shows that are sold out, that needs to be remedied. The general admission seats that will become available are the worst seats in the arena and quickly get bought up by resellers, so I won't be buying them. And after this experience, I likely won't be buying tickets from Ticketmaster again. I can go to 30+ local shows and support talented, striving up-and-coming bands for the price of one arena show anyway, and they need and deserve my support and money more anyway. I understand that automated systems are often efficient, but when they conform to rigid rules that do not serve the customers' needs, they should be re-examined and altered. I am very disappointed. And I'm confident that the members of Rush would agree with me.

This company is bad. Bought a ticket for $300 from Vivid Seats that in turn sent me to Ticketmaster for my link to access my ticket to the Eagles at the Sphere in Las Vegas on 10/11/25. Ticketmaster never sent the link. Called Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster for an hour before the concert started trying to resolve the issue to no avail. I was in a continual loop between Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster directing me to change my password (which I did at least 10 times). The link to my ticket never arrived. The Vivid Seats application sent me to Ticketmaster site which produced a link that sent me back to Vivid Seats/change my password screens.
I finally bought a floor ticket for $450 as the concert was starting. It takes about another 15 minutes after they go on sale to pick tickets. Once I'm in, there are no tickets left except for lawn and wheelchair accessible tickets. OH, and RESALE FRIGGIN TICKETS! Why the heck are there already resale tickets for triple the price? HMMMMM... Scalpers! It is 2025! End this ticket price-gouging BS already! We're sick of it and this is essentially making it possible for lazy scammers to make quick money. After all is said and done, only higher-class individuals can afford the tickets. Purchased tickets on May 3, 2025 from Ticketmaster. Within a couple of minutes I received an email from them that my credit card had been charged & now I could access the tickets with a mobile phone with the Ticketmaster App! Whoa, camel, whoa! We live in a rural area with no mobile service, only landline phone. I quickly chatted with a Ticketmaster agent & asked what happened to the print-at-home option that I had used in previous ticket purchases. Agent said print-at-home was not available for this event, but not to worry, for $10 extra the tickets would be mailed via USPS. This was now my only option to receive the tickets. Their website states tickets will be printed, shipped, & arrive at your mailbox 10-14 days after purchase. The agent said, NO, with this event the tickets would be printed & shipped closer to the start date of the event, but not to worry, I would receive an email from Ticketmaster once they shipped the tickets.
I waited over three (3) months, & no email, so I contacted their Fan Support in August. The agent said to wait until 10-14 days before the start date of the event which was Oct. 12, & if I had not received the tickets by mail by October 2, to call Fan Support. However, concerned that I was getting the run-around, I contacted support beginning 14 days ahead of the event. Eight different answers from eight agents as to the status of my order, & squeezing down the time to 48 hours before the start date to alert Ticketmaster that my tickets never arrived by mail. This I cannot do because we will be traveling to the event on the day they want us to sit by our mailbox to see if the tickets arrive!
Ticketmaster charges $10 for "mailing" your tickets, yet they do not put USPS tracking on the shipment, instead using your $10 to buy a 1st Class postage stamp! Last comment from Fan Support was a "specialized team" was handling my order. I pleaded for a supervisor to contact me, but this was ignored. Today, Oct. 2, Ticketmaster sent me a "poke the bear" email, asking if we were ready to enjoy the event & a reminder that we should have received our tickets by now! Of all the unmitigated gall! Ticketmaster cannot mail their SafeTix tickets. It can only be accessed by mobile phone, period.
The first agent should have told me that Ticketmaster only uses digital ticketing via mobile phones now, no mail, no print-at-home, no e-tickets. I would have immediately requested a refund to our credit card on May 3 so that the seats would be available for others. Instead, they dragged us along for five (5) months with no intention of mailing anything. Time to have our credit card company handle this problem!

If I could give a lower rating I would. 1) It thinks I'm a robot sometimes on my home computer. 2) they charge unnecessarily high service fees (fee is on average 27% of the ticket price for this site- and I have seen it be close to 50% at times) just because they can. 3) Ticketmaster has a problem with scalpers buying up all the tickets then reselling them. They don't seem to even want to try to prevent this when other apps do this well. 4) I have to authenticate on a new device, like 3 times, and sometimes it takes a really long time for Ticketmaster to finally believe it's me, when MFA should be instant. Overall it's a PIECE OF CRAP website that overcharges and only cares about profits, at the expense of the consumer base. The only reason it is used is due to the MONOPOLY they have on the market. I recently went to a live event in Portland, and took my son. It was a birthday surprise (on his actual birthday), something he really wanted to do (that I originally told him he wasn't old enough to go to, so he would think I couldn't take him), and would be his first live event. I originally purchased tickets through StubHub, and that was a terrible mistake I will never make again. At the time I didn't know I would have to transfer the tickets to Ticketmaster, otherwise I would have just purchased through them directly. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with stubhub trying to get my tickets, but it was a losing battle. I was told I could still purchase tickets from TM, and refund my previous purchase. I couldn't afford two new tickets the day of, without immediate access to the refunded tickets money.
The ladies at the window were so helpful. They navigated through the issues with stubhub as much as they could. Eventually they were halfway through the show, and I began to wonder if it was worth it at this point to go in. Mid argument with Stubhub the women in the ticket window GAVE me two tickets. I was shocked and asked if she was sure and if it's okay. She assured me it was. I thanked her profusely, and my son and I ran to see the remainder of the show.
This was such an amazing act of kindness, and I could not be more grateful. This was genuinely an experience that reminded me that there are good people out there. At the time I was so excited that we just ran to the show. But later that evening when crawling into bed, I ugly cried. They took what was quickly becoming a terrible night, into one of the best experiences I could ever have asked for. My Son was so grateful, and had an amazing time. I asked for the recordings of the phone conversations from my calls with the customer service reps but they have refused to provide those to me. Don't ever use this company to order tickets. If you have a customer service issue be sure to document EVERYTHING as they conveniently lose documentation that they claim to take down in their notes. On top of that, they charged additional service fees per ticket that whittled the return back even further. Then, I learned that I won't get any of the refund/sale-price back until after the event, which is still months away. I was surprised by how bad their consumer policies are.

Stay away from this company. I won't share previous difficulties with you but today's was another scam. I paid $7,000 for a pair of front row tickets to Lady Gaga in Toronto, seats 4 and 5 row 1. When we arrived they said we were now in the 3rd row as 'The Venue' added rows 1A and 1B at the last minute. This is purely 'Bait and Switch' tactics with no accountability. It's time we put an end to this sort of stuff. As we were sitting there we checked the Ticketmaster seating map for the show we were at and it still showed our seats as front row 1. 1A was shown added 4 seats to the side at each end and no 1B. The premium was for the front row seating and then it was switched.
We were actually seated in the front row by the usher but then asked to move by another usher. Then a couple more people came and said we were no longer seated in the front row. Then the security said they would ask the police to remove us. There was never any hiding of the fact the new seats were just created 24 hours before the show and sold online by Ticketmaster but still don't know how as they weren't shown on the seating map.

Contacted Ticketmaster and there was no way to refund, transfer, or get my money back in any way. They would not cooperate to let us switch the tickets we bought to the game I intended, so I was forced to sell the tickets. This company gives them full access to your messages of complaints that are meant for them and how THEY run their business, NOT the people who are also using their services to send out tickets from them! Booked hotel in March 2025, drove 4 hours from Canada to Canandaigua (NY), arrived to check into hotel on Aug 29, 2025 around 3:30pm to be informed that my booking was cancelled on Aug 25, 2025, front desk associate advised that since I booked through Ticketmaster they had no contact information for me so that is why they could not notify me of the cancellation, we were travelling with 2 other couples and one couple called Ticketmaster while we were still at the hotel to find out that the reservation was still active on their end/not cancelled.
Only other vacancy in the city was approximately $1000/night (CDN) and since we were backed into a corner with nowhere else to stay we had to book it, they only had 3 rooms left which is exactly what was required for our group/what was originally booked through Ticketmaster, I called Ticketmaster to open a case file (as the other two couples did the same and got a file #), the agent advised that my email address was not valid so she had to text me a verification code, she would not confirm the phone number on file and I did not receive the code after 3 attempts, the email was valid as I have the original confirmation/booking email used with the booking, she would not escalate the issue to anyone else and would not talk to me at all.
We filed an incident report with the Ontario County Sheriff's office who called Super 8 Canandaigua since we consider this theft, the manager on duty advised she has a copy of the cancellation of the booking and will be emailing that to the sheriff who will then email us a copy, I called Ticketmaster again this morning, the agent (Jane) was extremely helpful unlike the first agent (name unknown), she would not confirm my phone number however when I gave her my old number she said it was not the same as I was calling from and once I provided my last name on the account (maiden name, not married name) she was able to send me the verification code via email, she opened a dispute claim but would not provide a case number for it or email notification which is not professional on Ticketmaster's part.
Additionally, during the wait at the hotel while on the phone with Ticketmaster, we were privy to renovations occurring at the hotel, multiple low income guests that the government was subsiding to stay there who definitely did not book in March 2025 and are paying more to stay there, we clearly got cancelled as our rates were much lower than what the government was paying or others who booked after us. One of the other couples in our group received an email from Wyndham after calling them to file a report/open a claim advising us that we were cancelled due to ongoing renovations. Shouldn't parties who booked 5 months before others have a valid reservation??? Seems logical to me, whoever books first keeps the reservation.
On top of the full refund (100%) I am expecting for the cancellation I am also expecting compensation for the out of pocket costs I had to incur for the hotel I had to pay for due to the extreme and disgraceful inconvenience in a foreign country. Looking forward to a speedy and positive resolution to this issue, until then I will be speaking negatively of Ticketmaster to everyone I know as well as others in the entertainment industry and posting as many bad reviews as I possibly can, this is an extreme abuse of commercial power, the fact I cannot speak to anyone that could assist me and the poor customer service received is atrocious.

However, when I recently tried to sell tickets, I was blocked because I could no longer verify the account via the original (now inactive) travel number. Despite explaining the situation in full—that the number was temporary, used years ago, and long gone—Ticketmaster insisted there was no other way to verify my identity or update my number. The ability to sell your existing tickets is just not easy. I was in a situation where I had to sell my tickets to be with a family member in the hospital and they required me to sell them at such a high price. I was way over the price of everything in the section and there was no way I was going to ever sell these tickets for what the lowest threshold they would allow me to put them at. I think this is a horrible practice. I understand they don’t want people selling tickets at a very low price, but you should be able to sell your tickets at the going rate for the section.
I was at least $35 per ticket over and above everybody in the section. Nobody would ever buy the seats I listed. So instead of being fair Ticketmaster required me to sell them at a price that no one would purchase them at, so I lose out on the ability to recover any of my investment. As a result, four tickets go, unused and four empty seats. If I could give a negative rating I would. I hope something changes with how these platforms are able to control pricing in all scenarios. Also, they cannot provide me the seller's name so I can at least reach them and get a receipt... Frustrating Experience with Ticketmaster – Poor Account Management System. We recently had to sell tickets for a NYC show we couldn’t attend and were glad to see Ticketmaster allows reselling through their platform. Unfortunately, we hit a major roadblock: our account still had an outdated phone number from years ago, and we were completely unable to update it.
To list tickets for sale, you must verify your account using the saved phone number — which in our case was from college, six years ago. Despite speaking with a very friendly customer service rep, there was no way to update the number without access to the old one. Seriously? People move, switch carriers, change numbers — it’s absurd that Ticketmaster offers no workaround to update basic account info. We were locked out of a service we paid for and couldn’t resell the tickets. This is a terrible design flaw and incredibly frustrating for users. Ticketmaster, please fix your outdated systems. Until then, I’ll be avoiding your platform.

I’ve tried different browsers, deleting and reinstalling the app, creating a new account, my partner trying to purchase on his account, I’m suddenly unable to make purchases through ticketmaster. Customer service is a joke. What's the point of $90 service fees to pay a rep who can’t do anything and only instructs you to delete and redownload the app? I couldn’t even make a purchase directly on the phone. They no longer accept payments over the phone and require using the app.

I am frustrated because for the last few years, ticket prices have become way too high with the system in place. You can really only buy resell tickets at exorbitant prices. There is something wrong when a concert ticket costs $250-$500 if you are lucky. In most cases the hot acts are min $1000. This makes concert going elitest and unattainable for most people. I am losing hope of ever attending a concert. Sad.

Ticketmaster uses Dynamic Pricing and and per their policy: Purchase Policy and Terms of Use are agreed to, including Section 11, titled Refunds, Credits, and Exchanges. Paragraph 6 outlines the following: “We may occasionally offer tickets at a discount after the original on-sale date and will not refund the difference between the original price and the sale price.” Completely scams consumers if they buy early and then the price drops 90%. At least airlines and hotels, you can get credit or cancel and get your money back.

Ticketmaster makes false claims that the seller will be paid within 7 days of the conclusion of the event in which the tickets were sold. This false claim is misleading to consumers. It’s a false claim because I was emailed by customer support that 6 days after my event concluded, my payment has finally been processed, of which I would now have to wait 7 additional days from the payment processing date already having been 6 days.
I’m pretty sure Ticketmaster got their portion by now of both hijacking the seller & the buyer on resale. I’m confused as to why Ticketmaster is getting paid before I am- when it was my ticket, my sale. Ticketmaster is the middleman that needs to do their job. I already looked to sell elsewhere based on their 7 day payout. But went with them anyways, based on that claim. Which was misleading, costing me money & damages now. I expect a proper response from the company prior to any escalation in arbitration.

Cons: The overall process is not set up well. My issue isn't resolved at all because it was impossible to reach someone on the phone and because there isn't a way to resolve my issue online. The agent who contacted me via email after the chat sent my issue in was kind. Yet, they didn't answer within the 24 hour window I was informed I would be contacted back. I sent a reminder after the 24 hour mark and then was given a reply. Since that department isn't able to update a phone number, I was given the customer service phone to call. Which I did. The bot took my information and said it was connecting me to an agent. I waited on hold for 15 - 18 minutes without anyone picking up. I'm sorry to give such a bad review.
Pros: I like Ticketmaster's website and the ease of how it works and the prices. Updating my phone number should be very simple. The online FAQ instructions aren't logical either. The instructions assume that you have access to both the current number on file and the one needed to be added. That just isn't a typical scenario. I bought tickets and they were described as able to resell. I specifically went for that option because the tickets were a gift, and I wasn't sure the recipient would be able to go. I tried to resell them, and Ticketmaster first told me looking at my account there was no option to resell, then after offering to send pictures of my screen saying I could sell them but only for one set price, they realized I could accept offers. So, the offer I had was a 50% decrease even though the seats I was planning selling went up in value. So basically, the agent explained they are a third party and Ticketmaster is loyal to the organization who sold them to me through their site, and she went on to say that I can't resell the tickets but if someone sends me an offer to buy them from me that I can sell them, but I cannot counteroffer for a better price.
The agent immediately, after sending this closed out the conversation so I couldn't ask any more questions. There was no resolution or responsibility taken for supporting an organization that was selling tickets on their site with false advertising, not even an "I'm sorry this is your experience". They didn't offer to reach out to the organization to see if they could get a resolve or explanation from them. So basically, I'm out 350.94$ if I accept the offer or I don't sell and I'm out 685.84 for the price I bought them for which by the way costs even more now because resale value is up even more.
I've bought tickets here before, but I won't be anymore. I don't even write bad reviews but all in all this was a horrible experience, and it felt like I was conned in a way. When talking to the agent, I never once mentioned wanting a refund, I just wanted to resell, an explanation that made sense, or someone to talk to with some sort of apologetic tone or solution. I'd have even settled for the initial seller's business info. The agent I talked to flat out said, "Alright, you won't be getting a refund so..etc". She gunned up with attitude for a conversation that wasn't disrespectful, and I want people to understand resell doesn't mean you can resell for even close to the same price, and Ticketmaster will not accommodate any mistakes or provide solutions if things do go wrong.

I can only surmise that the email customer support agents don't actually read the details of the emails they receive and respond generally and using a script. I was trying to receive payment for tickets I sold to show in the US, I am in Canada. After selling my tickets I realized that I could only receive the money from the ticket sales in USD to a bank in the US. Funny how I was able to purchase the tickets through TicketMaster in CAD and send payment from my Canadian credit card, but they tell me there is no way I can receive this payment except in USD to a US based bank.
Anyway, that aside I do have a USD bank account at a Canadian bank, but it has information to accept wire transfer through a US bank intermediary so I was able to enter all that info and was told to expect two microdeposits to verify my account information. I waited the 7 to 10 business days and when no deposits arrived I did contact customer support, via email, for the first time. After explaining my issue, I was told to delete the information and re-enter it. I did this and waited another 7 days before contacting support again. Then they told me to delete the information and re-enter it or use a Debit card (US bank) instead. I explained that this is the only US banking information I have and asked if there is another way to get the payment.
I was told to call my bank and see if they were blocking the small deposits (thinking it was fraudulent activity or something). After I contacted my bank, I reported back that they were not blocking the deposits. The next email I got was from a completely different agent who wanted to verify my email address before proceeding. When I confirmed my email, she asked me why I wanted a refund. When I explained (again) that I wanted my payment for tickets sold through TicketMaster, she basically started all over again with telling me to delete the banking information and re-enter it, or better yet use a Debit card. My ticket had been restarted.
Fortunately, some time during this process I had read on Reddit about how the TicketMaster customer support is non-functional and I had taken the advice of one commenter to contact the Better Business Bureau. I opened a complaint and within a day had got a resolution from the BBB that TicketMaster would mail me a cheque. But I continued with the customer service emails just to see how long it would take. I did finally have my ticket "escalated" and the person who responded to me this time did seem to actually read my email and realized that I was getting a cheque mailed.
TL/DR - don't bother with TicketMaster customer support, it is useless, just do a credit card chargeback if you are owed a refund, or contact the BBB to get your issue resolved in any kind of timely fashion

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience with Ticketmaster. On April 24, 2025, I purchased a ticket for what I believed was a Michael Bublé concert in Kamloops. However, after receiving my confirmation email, I discovered that the event listed was actually for Riverdance, not the Michael Bublé show. I immediately reached out to Ticketmaster’s customer support, but the response I received was dismissive and unhelpful. I was told that the website had been updated with the correct information, and that I could no longer retrieve the original details I had seen before making the purchase.
This situation is even more frustrating as I am currently facing financial difficulties, and the $235 I spent on this ticket is a significant amount of money for me. I had planned to surprise my mother with tickets to this concert for her birthday, as she is a huge Michael Bublé fan, but this has turned into an unnecessary stress. I feel misled and taken advantage of by the company, and I am still seeking a resolution. Despite my attempts to resolve this directly with Ticketmaster, I have yet to receive any meaningful support. I hope this issue is addressed, and that others do not have to experience the same frustration. I am requesting a full refund for the misrepresented tickets.

I paid for tickets. At checkout they had a Capital One Ad that said I could get $40 off my ticket if I downloaded Capital One Shopping. It was a lie. I downloaded it and installed it and Ticketmaster said they have nothing to do with it being discounted from the price I paid. They said contact Capital One for their terms. The link was deceiving. They are both liable for deceptive practices.

The total for two $55 tickets comes to $150 after their ridiculous fees. I'll never buy an event ticket through Ticketmaster again. It's absolute extortion, and none of that extra money goes to the artists. You know, the people who actually have talent that TM is making absurd profits off of. An absolutely gross company.
