I purchased two tickets to a show on October 23 and was only issued one ticket. The venue would only allow entry for one of us. Stubhub refused a refund. I 100 percent do not recommend using their site. Most of the reviews I’ve seen say the same. Do not give them your money. Worst experience I have ever encountered!!!

My concert was cancelled and I was advised I would have the option of receiving a refund voucher or full cash refund. That was on Oct 5th. I opted for a full cash refund. I reached out 2 weeks later because I had not received my refund and they advised me that they sent it and it can take a few days. I have now spoken with AI twice, 2 phone representatives, and 4 live chat representatives who have all given me different answers about my refund. I truly feel scammed by StubHub and will not ever be using them again.

The fee for StubHub was almost 50% of each ticket and I didn't realize until it was too late. Once I realized what had happened I quickly checked to see if I could cancel. There are no refunds. I wasn't paying close attention and thought I was actually in the venue's site. I had no intention of buying through a third party and will be sure I never purchase anything through StubHub again. I'm just hoping I actually get the tickets before the show. After reading other reviews, I'm afraid I may have just thrown $334 away ($108 in fees).

We bought tickets to Sabrina Carpenter in July and the vendor had still not transferred the tickets with a proper link a month before the show in October. I called repeatedly and they assured me not to worry because they contacted the vendor and he has the tickets and will resend. They also assured me that is anything went wrong, they would get me other tickets to the show of equal or better value. This went on until the day of the show. I stood outside the United Center with my kids, waiting for StubHub to transfer me the promised tickets. Turns out the vendor was scamming me all along, sold them to someone else for more money and StubHub holds no accountability. They wouldn't give me any answers until the show had started and by then tickets skyrocketed to over $3000 a piece. At that point, I couldn't get any other tickets and my kids were crying and crushed to miss the show we had anticipated for months.
On top of it, StubHub does not hold the vendor responsible in any way. I got a refund, but they will just keep letting these vendors disappoint and scam people on their website. It is disgraceful the way these companies work and power they hold to charge people exorbitant amounts of money and then screw them over if they can get more from someone else. Something has to be changed in the ticket buying world.

I am the only person who has access to my account, I had 3 separate orders that said I bought tickets and 1 in Italy and I somehow got them canceled, then a few weeks later I have 2 tickets to Bears–Packers and somehow they were listed and sold for 3.80 after I paid over 700 dollars. I tried 2 times to resolve this telling them I never listed or bought anything but my Bears tickets, a week later I get an email saying they are not responsible for family listing my tickets. Then I finally canceled them with no help from StubHub and they charged me 4 dollars for cancelling, I would never buy these inflated tickets or use this dangerous website with my personal bank info, as soon as my parking pass comes I'm deleting my account and never coming back here again, hurry before it's too late. I had one of the worst trading experiences with StubHub. The company does not make you aware that all sales are FINAL and there is no Refund or Cancellation. I made an accidental mistake with buying a ticket and emailed StubHub within a few minutes to ask for cancellation. I got no response and then found that its initial confirmation email was from a "no-replay" address. The company's website does not provide its contact information. It was through a live chat I got its phone # - 866-788-2482. Supervisor refused to cancel the order, citing the policy that all sales are final. Where is this policy? Small fonts at the bottom of its website - the user agreement. So it is the buyer to blame. Do not be fooled!
Supervisor also cited the reason that ticket's owner was informed for the transaction and thus cancellation was not possible. But StubHub's initial email wrote, "hold tight" and the ticket would be delivered before the event (in 10 days!). After about a 2-hour talk about the matter, the tickets were emailed to me (so I cannot cancel them). Lesson? If anyone still worries about a ticket not being delivered on time, just ask for cancellation, right?
Finally, when I asked about selling the tickets that they cannot cancel, the company's agent could not clearly explain the selling procedure. After many probes, he said the seller must pay a fee to StubHub and the amount of fee is unknown until the tickets are uploaded to the website for sale. hahhaha... The supervisor cannot even provide his badge# and the location of the company's headquarter because of the company's "policy." I cannot find honesty or trustworthiness in StubHub and its employees. I will never use StubHub.

They canceled 2 of my 3 tickets. Didn’t give answer properly when called but instead they redirected me to Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster told me to buy tickets from their site since they didn't cancel them either. They also said that I must be able to get refund from StubHub. So bought tickets from ticket master thinking that StubHub will refund me since they canceled the tickets.
Called them for refund. They kept asking me for proof for canceled tickets. This was bizarre since they canceled my tickets and not me. Took a while but sent them in email the screenshots of the cancelation of 2 tickets proof. They said they will refund. Kept emailing them for few days and they kept vaguely promising that they will refund. Then they said they won’t and instead gave me tickets again that I no longer needed since I already bought from ticketmaster. I told them this as well. They then gave me option to sell those tickets in their site and not refund.
Event is tomorrow and they put the burden on me to get refund myself. All I wanted was to buy tickets to events. I must have been careful with clicking on google search results which led to StubHub where I bought these "tickets" but did not know that they can steal my money and abandon me. I didn’t know what I signed up for until it’s too late and lost 257$. This has been a tiring experience for a week and I am never going to use this site again. I would suggest that you guys do the same.

My son wanted to go to the SF Giants game for his 9th bday. He has Cerebral Palsy so he is in a wheel chair. The site didn't have any info on ADA seats so we downloaded the map of the baseball park and choose 6 tickets that appeared to be wheelchair accessible. The next day I called the customer service line to make sure we had the correct wheelchair accessible tickets. Stub Hub was absolutely no help, after speaking with 5 different managers, (as everyone who works there seems to be at the manager level) we were told they don't have an ADA option.
One man actually said, "Sorry we don't sell handicap seats. You can only buy those kind of tickets directly from the stadium." I explained we already bought these tickets, and the site doesn't say anything about not selling ADA tickets. They again told me to call the stadium. I requested a refund and the only answer I could get was "You need to repurchase tickets directly from the stadium. We do not give refunds for any reason. Sorry the only way to get your money back is to repost the tickets for sale yourself." I feel like this is not all my fault. I searched all over the site and could not find the "We don't sell ADA tickets" anywhere. We will never buy ticket from StubHub again.

Their app is designed to hide the fees and to automatically scroll the final cost details up so you click continue. I did because every company shows you at some point the fees. But them hiding it by giving you a scrolled up page is very deceiving and I just lost $320. Btw, the fees were $99 for$220 in tickets! Avoid them at all costs. There's a bunch other platforms that make a better job at being honest. They are being sued right now because of shady practices, no surprise so avoid. The order id ** if you wanna confirm. $99 dollar fees is just crazy. I show in this YouTube video how they hide it **. Notice how the "review order" button just takes you to another button. On 08 April I purchased 3 tickets via StubHub, to the 06 Oct Packer/Ram game at SOFI. I had called stub hub countless time over that 7 month period, in order to download the tickets. Was never able to talk with anyone who understood English, so it was a very frustrating experience, as I had people booking expensive flights to come to this game with me. ON GAME DAY, I was told that stub hub couldn't reach the seller and that I "should have them by kickoff time (1:25). If not, they said, I could call back...wait the 30-40 minutes for someone to answer, then start ALL OVER again to describe my situation. At that time, they would either offer me alternative seats (not necessarily together), or refund my $2,300. I also spent $137 on parking.
Standing in the hot sun, waiting three hours for the email, so we could get in line, at 1:15, I asked one of my colleagues to search online for alternate tickets (NOT STUB HUB), in case the stub hub tickets never showed up in my email, which she did. At 1:25 the email still had not showed, so I waited an additional 3 minutes, refreshed my email and check the spam box. NOTHING from stub hub, so my colleague purchased the alternate tickets. Almost immediately after she completed the purchase, I got the email from stub hub, directing me to download my tickets via the Ticket master account.
The stub hub tickets (with the $530 "service fee"), had cost me just under $2,300, PLUS I had (2 days before), purchased ANOTHER game ticket from stub hub, for $272. Now I had a total of $2,572 in tickets I never was able to use. When I contacted them for my $2,572 refund, I was told that they HAD sent me the tickets before the 1:25 deadline (which they had not), and so I couldn't get my refund. This is case number one.
Case number two: A couple of months ago, I had also purchased (through stub hub), two tickets to the UNLV/Boise State football game at ALLEGIANT, that was originally scheduled for Saturday, 26 Oct but had since been moved to Friday, 25 Oct. No way we can attend that so, the option is to offer them up for sale, through stub hub. I read the fine print, and it reads that, if I fail to provide the buyers the tickets by game time, stub hub will offer them alternate tickets which...wait for it... I would be CHARGED FOR!!!! I ALREADY know that I'll not have these tickets by game time, because stub hub left me hanging at the Packer game. I'm stuck with these $375 tickets and $119 parking pass, because who, in their right mind, will trust that these tickets will magically show up as a transfer from me JUST prior to game time?? I'm STUCK with no option but to eat these tickets as well, because stub hub will CONTINUE to swindle me.
I've lost a total of $2,931 to stub hub, unable to use or sell ANY of these tickets, and all I can do is suck it up. I'm retired Navy and I don't have lots of extra cash, so this wasted $3,000 Just before the holidays WILL sting!! If this country still has a BBB, or ANY entity that cares, I hope that somehow stub hub is shut down and forced to refund.

Sale Info. Monterey Jazz Festival - 3 Day Pass (Sep 27, 28 and 29, 2024). Friday, September 27, 2024 | 19:00. Monterey Fairgrounds, Monterey, US. Order ID # ** 2 Ticket(s). Section: Adult. Row Arena | Seat(s) ARENA LAWN - Access to grounds. The above is what I posted on StubHub to sell my 3 day pass for one person. The pass has one ticket for each day of the festival. Due to some misunderstanding, the buyer thought he/she was getting more than one ticket for one person for each day. StubHub told me I needed to upload more tickets (which I don't have). As a matter of fact, they said the buyer should receive 9 tickets rather than just 3. (Buyer asked for tickets for Friday and Saturday only.) I had 3 long conversations with StubHub representatives located in the Philippines.
Yesterday I spoke with a "manager". He accused me of deceiving the buyer and told me that I would not only not get paid for the tickets, but StubHub would charge me more money and penalties. I obviously had no intention of deceiving anyone and take responsibility if my posting was not clear. However, I do not deserve the treatment I received. I still do not understand how the buyer expected more, especially when one compares the price of the 3 day pass (3 tickets) I was selling with the price of other tickets and 3 day passes for the MJF StubHub has posted.
I received several emails from StubHub telling me to upload the tickets (as if I had more). I uploaded all 3 tickets which equal the 3 day pass on the StubHub site when I originally posted the sale. I received another email this afternoon telling me to upload tickets. I called StubHub again and spoke with Regina. She told me I will be receiving an email from StubHub within a few days to let me know how they will handle this issue. She indicated to me that most likely StubHub will expect me to pay them money besides not paying me back for the tickets sold. I am very disappointed and bothered by this. I will be looking for informed support if StubHub actually does try to charge me more money or not reimburse me for my tickets. I will never use their services again as a buyer or seller. About a quarter into the game, I got an email which said that they couldn't give me the pass I bought but to "click here to obtain alternate tickets". Of course, I didn't click it for fear that they would then claim that I had accepted the alternate one. (I was already in the stadium and the game had started well before this.)
Shortly thereafter, my parent had a 3rd stroke and wasn't expected to survive. As a result, I didn't contact StubHub until a few weeks later. The operator was (of course) in another country and it was obvious that they have been trained to place the customer on hold to "see what they could do." She came back on and said that the email that indicated I could choose an alternative pass also had an option to choose a refund. I had the email in front of me and I told her that it did not. She claims that I should have clicked on the email and the refund option would have appeared.
When I told her that there was no "refund option" apparent in the email, she then said that I didn't call within 7 days and therefore had waived it. When asked, she could not point me to any provision that required a time limit or to click on a vague email link in order to get your money back for an item that you never received other than saying that "it was in their contract". She admitted that they could see that I was charged for the pass and that I never received that pass or any other. I purchased tickets for a concert at the Western WA Fair from Stub Hub.. We paid $732.73 for 4 tickets. I received the receipt but StubHub doesn’t allow access to the ticket QR until the day of. On the day of the concert only 2 tickets would pull up. I attempted to resolve it with StubHub but the AI chat option sent me round and round. We attempted to use the tickets at the venue and were told StubHub often rips patrons off by selling the same tickets to multiple people. I had to purchase 4 new tickets from the venue directly in order to attend the concert.
After the concert I again attempted to resolve the issue with Stub Hub and was told the reason the tickets didn’t pull up was that the concert was over. I assured the company this was not the case. I had documentation of the issue and venue manager also documented the issue. The Stub Hub employee ended the chat and would not respond when I attempted to resolve it again. Visa took care of the issue the next morning.

Please add negative stars to give StubHub. This is how Stuhub really operates they promise you tickets but keep telling you tickets could arrive shortly before your event starts or maybe not at all as in our purchase. Long story short you are promised tickets that they really do not have and they purchase the tickets at a discounted price shortly before the event to provide to you. The issue comes when an event is sold out and they have no tickets to provide to you. The support is chat based and takes forever, calling them gets you nowhere. They also will not issue a refund and blame everything on the seller of the tickets. Scammers. Stay far away!!! Given I live in Texas (not Chicago) I will not be able to attend this show and was advised it is my responsibility to resale the tickets purchased. Luckily, I was able to do so but recently found out I do not get paid on the tickets sold until 8-10 days after the newly scheduled show takes place.
I called StubHuB customer service explaining the situation to see what could be done, and was greeted by an extremely rude customer service agent named Luis who was not helpful at all and continued to contradict himself and speak down to me (in an aggressive / angry tone). Apparently, per StubHub’s policy they do not pay the seller of tickets until after the event occurs due to their “protection policy.” My argument to this was around the fact that I did not get to test validity of the tickets (again, purchased on StubHub) myself given the show was canceled, and if that is their policy, shouldn’t my sale be processed and they hold the new purchaser of the tickets to this policy? I then had 3 more for sale, and one-night I received an email saying thank you for your sale on the last 3 tickets I had posted making $54 total. As a seller on StubHub I now have 0 zero trust or respect. Several weeks after a transaction had occurred and payment received StubHub was contacted by a buyer and filled a complaint against me. StubHub requested proof of purchase, proof of payment and proof of transfer of the tickets to their system. I supplied all the requested items 3 times. Their escalation team communicates only via email. I called with no avail to speak with that team. The answering rep did verify all items were received and that I should continue to reply. With no evidence from the buyer and all of the requested material sent by me (seller) they refunded and removed $260 from my bank account. This shows me a buyer can simply say they had issues and the seller has no strength. The bank said the removal of the funds could be considered fraud with it being outside the terms and timeline at StubHub.

In November 2023 I purchased (3) tickets to a July 2024 show on StubHub site. I listed these same tickets for sale on StubHub the week prior to the show date, and sold them in (2) different sale transactions. I never received them from seller by the show date. I made (4+) separate phone calls into StubHub’s customer service line from June 22 - June 26 where I advised each representative my concern that I had not received my tickets and feared I wouldn’t be able to deliver them to my (2) buyers in time. I was assured by each different representative that I had to wait until the delivery date (July 27 - the actual date of the show) and could then transfer them.
On July 27 at 4:01 PM EDT (date of the show) I received a call from StubHub asking where my sold tickets were. I informed him that I had not received them from my seller by the promised deadline; and also told him about the (2) subsequent sales of SAME TICKETS which I could now not deliver. I was informed by a 5th supervisor that my ticket purchase and subsequent sales were not “linked” on the StubHub site, and therefore StubHub can’t figure out that the original seller owes the money. I am out $650.06, and my buyers are out $216.90 and $433.80 - money which StubHub retains.
I have now received emails regarding the (2) unfulfilled sales that I will be charged for non-delivery. My issue is that I purchased them in good faith on StubHub’s site from a StubHub seller; re-listed them properly; and sold on the StubHub site with the exact matching ticket information as the original purchase. StubHub has a written "buyer guarantee" policy. Therefore, Stub Hub needs to: A) refund me for my original purchase ($650.06) and B) refund the two subsequent buyers since StubHub's original seller did not deliver tickets as contractually promised.

About 2 months before the concert I still had not heard anything. I saw cheaper VIP tickets on Ticketmaster. With the ok from a manager from Stubhub who guaranteed we can choose refund once we get the email I bought the tickets.
The day of the concert I got an email from Stubhub that they have tickets for us, but no ability to choose refund. I called Stubhub on the way to the venue and fought with them for 1.5 hrs to give us a refund. They kept saying that since the buyer came through we have to take the tickets. I am a regular user of Stub Hub and have experienced a mixed bag. I think what it comes down to is the luck of the draw when you seek help with customer service with there is an issue. Some are real helpful, while other intentionally mislead you as a means of stalling until it's too late to replaced tickets, then they just send you a refund. First off, I have purchased many concerts and event tickets from Stub Hub that have went through without a problem...I was perfectly happy with the transactions. However, there have been a few times I have come across scammers, etc and had to work with their customer service. These experiences are why the 3 star rating.
One of the scams that sellers will run on Stub Hub is they will sell you tickets to a high demand show, then send you tickets to something completely different, then just disappear from the site. So the system shows that you were sent tickets. which as an extra couple of hurdles to clear up. Only once when I contacted customer service did the rep handle the matter immediately and send replacements for the tickets in exchange for the incorrect tickets per their policy. I think it was handled so quickly because there were still tickets available at the price I paid for mine, so there wasn't a price discrepancy issue.
However the other couple of times, the concerts were for high demand tickets, whose prices were rising as the event got closer. In this case, Stub Hub was not willing to replace the tickets until tickets of equal or less value were posted, even if there were tickets in the same seating sections were available. They simply wouldn't honor their policy if it meant they had to purchase tickets at a higher price. I really didn't think much of it until just this last week when I again had tickets for a country concert whose demand was high, and ticket prices had gone up because it was small venue.
When I bought the tickets and was sent the wrong ticket, I immediately notified Stub Hub of the scam. Their response was to make me jump through a bunch of hoops, each time telling me that doing so would result in my tickets being replaced. They did this for 5-6 contacts during the 2 weeks before the show, stalling until literally hours before the show, as they kept guaranteeing that I would have tickets for the event. I just had to wait for their processing team to handle it, and it would be done in time for the show.
As probably easily predicted, I contacted them right before the show and asked where my tickets were. The representative informed me that they could not honor the ticket replacement and all she could do was refund the amount paid for the tickets. I informed her that I was already at the show, and that they had assured me that I would have tickets for entry. Again, she reiterated that they were not provide tickets and a refund was already in the works. And if I still wanted to attend the show, I would have to buy another set of tickets. I was shocked by the lack of customer service, and an unwillingness to honor their own policy if it meant they have to eat $20.
I even offered to pay for the difference, and they said that they couldn't process a transaction that way. So basically their customer service just kicked the can down the road for 2 weeks, then said "sorry we cant do anything for you", leaving me at the concert venue without tickets. Unacceptable. I send their corporate office a letter explaining the situation and about the lack of customer service... They never responded. So, I recommend that you be cautious when using Stub Hub, and if you have to exchange tickets, check the website first to see if there are tickets available at the same price or less. If Stub Hub would have to take a loss to replace your tickets, then just tell them that you would like a refund.

Lucky they had a spot as online site claimed sold out & had charged about $118 plus $47 StubHub fee. Package onsite was $30, so StubHub's fee alone was more than 1.5 times actual price.
After package, took me about 45 mins before I was lucky enough to get game ticket to open, but ended up missing first couple innings. StubHub is refusing to refund the $167 as they have "no record of (me) calling for assistance"... I hadn't been a ph# in short time I had while in line. First ever experience with StubHub. My work had me create a corporate account to buy a gift for our clients. I bought baseball tickets and nowhere in the disclosure language did it say the tickets I was about to purchase would be non transferable. There was a little checkmark box and everything to indicate the purchase would be a gift. I clicked the box and proceeded with the purchase. Next step, it made me download the app, there is not a desktop setting for this. There should be for organizations. For security reasons, I do not like that I had to download the app and now have the corporate card information on my phone. That isn't the problem though. The problem is that nowhere in the disclosure language did it communicate that the tickets would be non transferable. Instead, they suggested I give our company login to our client with all of our personal information. Excuse me? No, thank you.
In addition, there was disclosure language from the vendor that said to call the 800 number and the vendor could print them at the stadium. I called the 800 number and they do not print tickets even thought the terms and agreements clearly states to call for printed tickets in the opening paragraph. I asked for a refund, and StubHub then tells me I can resell them. They do not offer refunds. Why even offer a "Is this a gift" box to check if I cannot actually send them as a gift. Never use Stubhub!!! The last month has been a nightmare! I am so upset with Stubhub. I bought Taylor Swift Tickets in March for the 27 Jul Munich concert. It was mobile transfer on 11 Jul. Due to a change of plans we listed the tickets for sale on Stubhub in June, a month ago. The tickets were deactivated after a week due to the venue needing personal transfer. I told them under that logic I can't use the tickets either so want a refund. I called 4 other times and never got a resolution. I finally was able to CNX the listing and rebook and it allowed me to. A week later I went to lower the price and it deactivated my listing saying I needed to provide proof of Purchase. I spent 3 more days, and 3 more representatives trying to upload the data while asking all why do I need to provide proof of purchase from tickets I bought from them!!!
I finally was able to get them relisted. We are up to 10+ calls to Stubhub over a 2 week period. Finally I found a buyer for my tickets. The buyer I bought it from moved the transfer release date for the mobile tickets from 11 Jul to 14 Jul, then just moved it to 27 Jul, the day of the concert! The previous representative said if by 9am Pacific Coast time the tickets have not been released they would refund the money. I called them just now and after 15 minutes on hold got disconnected. I have put in another phone call. Bottom line, reading these reviews below is exactly what I have been going through at Stubhub!!! I will never use them again. Please tell everyone don't use Stubhub. The tickets were extremely expensive. As were the travel arrangements necessary to attend the California event. Needless, to say we were extremely nervous, we contacted StubHub, and they assured us not to worry, they would guarantee good, better, or my complete refund if the seller didn't come thru. We reminded him/her we didn't want a refund, we wanted tickets to see the concert. The morning of the event, we called StubHub again, the StubHub representative said, we would receive the tickets via email from the seller by 6:00pm that day. The StubHub representative assured us of their guarantee. Once again, we reminded him/her we didn't want a refund, we wanted tickets to see the concert.
We traveled to the event, made several more calls to StubHub, finally after 5 calls we were told by the StubHub representative, the seller sent to the tickets to the will call office at the event. Long story short, the tickets never arrived to the will call office. We never received replacement tickets, the StubHub representative said they would refund our money within 6-8 business days. StubHub made absolutely no attempt to replace the tickets or provide us with tickets at all. After walking to two different will call offices, we were left outside the event with no tickets.
Finally, we went back to the will call window, pleaded and explained our situation to the employee and asked if him/her could provide us with two tickets to the event. We ultimately got into see the Rolling Stones. Thank you to the event employee for helping us. The experience was a complete disaster and one we'll never forget, the concert was truly amazing, but the StubHub experience we felt was utter criminal. All of the employees are uneducated and don’t understand how transactions work, while also suggesting you take action on your end and report it back to them as a way of removing themselves from being responsible for confirmations. They have employees who are adding statuses to your account without yours or the bank’s authorization, and if you speak to a supervisor, also expect to be given the runaround with them. I paid $1,053 for two seats that were on the 4th row. As it turned out, StubHub sent me a bogus seating chart showing only a few rows. The actual seats are on the very last row of AT&T Stadium in Arlington. As soon as StubHub sold the seats to me, they re-sold them to a third party vendor so that they could wash their hands of the problem. The actual seats are selling for $90 and are actually located on the highest row of the stadium. The actual value is probably no more than $25.
I believe in my heart that StubHub knowingly is running a scam company. Here is part of their business process on how they make money. 1) Advertise an event sending a bogus seat map, 2) Sell tickets at a high price, 3) Unload the seats to a third party company to wash their hands of any problems. A Stub Hub agent will then say, well I would help you if I could, but we no longer own those tickets. Be Careful!!

As many others on this site has mentioned, StubHub does nothing to ensure your ticket. Will gladly take your money months in advance while offering you no guarantee to actually receive those tickets. Instead you're left stressing, wondering whether or not you will miss your event. It wouldn't be so bad if they confirmed a month before that you indeed have the ticket you purchased. In that case you have enough time to find a replacement. Sadly they do not. One is better buying direct from the event seller, it is cheaper and guaranteed. I had to scramble the day before escapade 2024 to find a ticket off someone on Kijiji, luckily I did and it was $100 cheaper. Don't use this website!

I purchased tickets the min they came up. Waited 2 weeks for tickets. On day of event I started to panic a bit 'cause event started at 7 and it was already 330. I called, lady tried to contact seller to no response. They did offer other seats which were absolutely horrible considering the ones bought were in 6th row, 1st level and they offered 2nd level nosebleed section. I called back explaining these tickets were not going to work and they had 1st level seats still available online. I was told since a looked at the seats offered they could do nothing else other than offer money back.
The seller had taken my money, kept tickets posted and sold them again. I was furious. I asked when I would have been informed of all this? They had no answer. And the guy told me to stop being pissy.. grrr!! Anyway, I took money back, went to ticketmaster and got tickets and got them within 10 min of purchase. Never again will I deal with Stubhub. It may have not been their fault, and yes I got money back the next day, but that seller needs to be banned from selling and they didn't even seem concerned this happened.

We went for no reason and missed the event entirely. The customer service was utterly unhelpful and unreliable. We received no assistance and no viable solutions. I was excited so I was looking right away for tickets and Stubhub was the only one that was selling it at the time in May. I found the tickets weren’t for sale yet. I paid about 1700.00 for the tickets, the tickets went for for 600.00+. Tickets weren’t officially for sale until middle of June. So even there was some changes for the event, they said they can’t refund and they said they only could put help me put the tickets up for sale. So I bought the tickets at 600.00+ but the tickets are now being sold for 250.00 for the section I bought it. And when I bought it, it only showed the section not the row. And now that I got the tickets the it shows that it’s the freaking last row section 209 row z. I’ve made the mistake to buying the tickets early and buying them here in Stubhub. I’ll NEVER BUY FROM STUBHUB AGAIN.

The only answer was that they had until game day to process the tickets...What, I wouldn't know until possibly game day if I had tickets (they had no problem taking my money right away). I asked for a refund, and was told "my request was put in". Meanwhile all the game tickets were being sold. I felt I had no other choice but to buy more tickets, this time from the official Worcester Red Sox. Absolutely no problem, I instantly was able to 'accept' the tickets, lol it was $1.35 cheaper. I had HORRIBLE experience! DO NOT APPROACH THE SITE! After I bought tickets to a show I could not attend to, I listed them for sale. Two weeks later I got a notification that my tickets have sold for the price I put them for, so far so good. A week before the date of the concert, I opened my email to TONS of threats from Stubhub, saying that if I do not upload the tickets, as their customer policy states, I will be charged for either 100% of the ticket's price or for the alternative ticket that Stubhub would have to find in my place.
Confused and shocked, I talked to customer support who said they saw *2 sales* from my account, for the same tickets, at the same date. I was told that for 1 sale, they uploaded the tickets for me, and marked the other sale as "pending ticket upload." Let's leave aside the fact that it's even ridiculous that the SAME user can upload 2 listings for the same EVENT, the same SEATS and at the same PRICE. I know that I NEVER made 2 listings for the tickets, but one.
After more than an hour and a half of back and forth with their so-called customer support, they said there's nothing they can do since they see that I made 2 listings, at one point of me begging for help they hung up, saying there's nothing they can do. After talking to my bank company, they said that I could sue the company but nothing is guaranteed out of it.
To sum things up, I:1. Paid 2,260$ for 6 concert tickets
2. Was charged for the 6 tickets I "Could not sell": 1,000$ - Meaning I got a total of 1,260$ back.
IMO nothing screams out scam more than this. Be careful!

Purchased six tickets to see the Kentucky Derby 150th Anniversary. Unfortunately, unable to attend. Listed the tickets with StubHub. Horrible experience. Four different sales (1, 2, 2, 1 ticket) occurred with the majority purchased by professional scalpers. Scalpers contested sales with multiple reasons that included 1) not the ticket I wanted 2) ticket listed incorrectly.
StubHub favors the buyer/scalper because they will bill the seller for the listed value of the ticket. Seller beware! Whatever your ticket list price will be billed to the credit card you provide if the buyer contests the ticket. Stubhub gets paid thrice in this scenario. First, fees to list the ticket occur. Second, once the ticket is sent to the buyer, the seller is dependent on stubhub customer service to resolve any buyer issues. Stubhub customer service will request the ticket from scalper and refund their purchase while billing you, the seller, the full list price. Finally, now they have a ticket to barter/sell with other buyers/scalpers/Stubhub.
If you call customer service and are willing to wait, complain, argue for hours on end, then you may be able to reduce the price billed to your credit card. However, Stubhub is counting on time delay of payout to help ensure seller burnout and frustration with process. Only one ticket was actually sold, but due to the policy of billing the seller for any issues with ticket sales, this amount is "debited" from your negative balance. USE THIS COMPANY AT RISK!!!
StubHub's software allows direct transfer from seller to buyer. Once the transfer occurs, Stubhub customer service cannot retrieve the ticket if the buyer is unhappy for whatever reason. I requested that tickets were returned to me. I wanted to attend the event instead after receiving messages thru StubHub application that buyer was unhappy with purchase. With two days prior to event, StubHub was either inept in using their software to retrieve tickets or this is a scam to steal tickets and use the ticket multiple times for profit. I was able to argue the sell of two tickets was legitimate to StubHub customer service with a representative whose first language was not English. But instead of paying me the value of the tickets, the response was to remove the debit from my account for the list price the buyer didn't want to pay.
Lesson learned, if you are the Buyer, StubHub favors a positive outcome for you. As a Buyer from StubHub, argue/complain with customer service about the tickets. You can retain the electronic tickets from the third party seller and not be billed the sale price. StubHub is capitalizing off the seller, not the buyer. StubHub is the worst. Originally, I purchased the tickets thru Churchhill for ~$1K. StubHub attempted to bill me for contested sales = $1.8K. Complained over the phone all morning during the Kentucky Derby event and was able to reduce bill to $800. I am very, very, very, very, unsatisfied with the company and its customer service. On a scale of 1 thru 10, this pirate company is a negative 800.

I purchased relatively pricey MLB tickets. The game ended up being postponed and I was no longer able to attend. This should not have been an issue because I could just sell the tickets....or so I thought. Due to issues with the stubhub app the tickets could not be relisted. Calling customer service was no help. The first 2 times I called, I received an automated message stating they are experiencing technical difficulties and cannot take calls. I waited and called back the following day just to be told there were no resolutions to this issue. So I'm stuck with tickets that I can't use or can't sell.
Overall, I am confident that this company's dysfunctional app and incompetent customer service team have ensured that I will do my best to never do business with this company again. All I can say is buyers beware. If you absolutely have to use this company, be sure to buy insurance if for no other reason than to protect you from stubhub.

StubHub is the the absolute worst company on the planet!!! BEWARE!!! They should get negative stars, but to put a review you are forced to give at least one star. They deserve to be shutdown. You will NOT get your tickets and have to FIGHT for your money. This company is the equivalent of scalpers. DO NOT purchase tickets if you actually want to see a show.
We got to the venue after purchasing tickets in January for a May show to see Norah Jones at the Apollo theater only for the start time to arrive and after having to call Stub Hub 3 times, for them to to say that they do NOT have the tickets we PAID for in advance. They had NO replacement tickets, NOTHING! Their version of an acceptable solution is to refund our money which we have to go in and ACTIVELY request?!?! So this is still to be determined as we do not have the money back in our card at this time. They did NOT contact us at all!
This is completely unacceptable! We already drove to the venue and paid for parking, none of which has been refunded! They had our money in their possession since January to do as they wish. We had to call THEM to get any form of resolution. I will do anything in my power to make sure buyers know what an outright awful company this is...Simply look at their reviews here, on BBB, Google, etc...They can't maintain over 1.5 stars and that is because the public is forced to give one star to write a review. They should be shut down!

Purchased a parking pass for an Atlanta Braves game through StubHub, the game got rescheduled and StubHub would not issue a refund or allow me to resell the ticket. Leaving me with no options to recoup money.

Someone hacked my account and stole my tickets and Stub Hub said it's my fault and will not honor my purchase or refund my money. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. And to top it off, yesterday I spoke to a supervisor who told me they would remove the tickets from the person's account who took them and reissue them to me. Today I get a call that the supervisor who told me this was incorrect and that technically the tickets are out there twice and I have a 50/50 shot of getting into the show. They do not care nor cover their customers as it relates to theft. If you use StubHub BEWARE. If anything happens they DO NOT stand by their FanProtect policy. They are fine with their customers having their money and tickets STOLEN and FRAUDULENT activity occurring on their site because they got their cut so they could care less about YOU the customer. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET A DIME OF MY MONEY!!!! This company is a disgrace.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this site before I did business with StubHub. I bought three tickets to Bruce Springsteen at approximately 500 plus dollars per ticket. For total 1600 dollars or so. Then they offered their parking vendors. They sold a parking spot that was completely in an abandoned lot very far from the venue. We drove around the block several times thinking it was a mistake since the marketing for the spot was last spot going fast! There was not a soul in the parking lot and it was a lot that was free. Nobody was in the parking lot to collect money.
Somebody sold me a piece of concrete that they didn't own. And there was no competition for the spaces at all. It charged me $77 for this spot that was extremely out of the way and in a lot that was free. It was Sunday in parking was free in that light and all around the neighborhood. That lot was not able to accept money except if you use the meters that were free for that day. So they charged me $ 77. I called back and told him the entire story, they took one of the representatives was quite honest and said that it happens often. He said that it was elevated for an investigation. This was not true, nobody got back to me. 3 weeks later I called them and they offered me a coupon.
I would not buy anything from this company. I would not use their coupon even if it was worth more than the $77. They are scammers. They sold me something that they were not legally allowed to sell me. You can't sell something that's for free and also a parking space that's in a lot that's abandoned miles from the venue. And supposing said the lot was full only one spot left and going fast. Which was completely fraudulent. There was Zero people at the lot except for one older gentleman who told me that I probably was scammed. Scammers.
Don't you StubHub ever. Don't give them their money. Even if you have successful transaction, I'm sure they're scamming You by adding lots of fraudulent costs. For example: I paid $77 but the receipt they sent to my email said $35. It doesn't make a difference because there was not a soul at the parking lot for me to show the receipt to. The customer service will go round around with you and act like they're very polite but at the end of the conversation you're back where you started. They are puppets and they act like they're working with you and pretend to empathize but they're really just talking in circles so that they don't give you your refund. Rip off!

I bought tickets to Melanie Martinez on Stubhub. They were very expensive but I wanted my daughter to see her favorite artist. I bought them on payments. The seats were rated 10.0 Great View. Well, we got there and they were awful. Seats that shouldn’t have been sold. We were basically behind the stage. I reached out to their customer service and was told that I got the seats I paid for. When I told them that their website said it was a “great view” and unobstructed, they told me to “prove it”. This was the first time I bought from them so I didn’t think to screenshot the rating on their website to keep as proof. I sent them the photos and they gave me and $89 credit. I told them that wasn’t sufficient and they pretty much told me that was all they would do.
I attached photos. We only saw the back of the artists and none of the video footage behind them. In the picture with the red circle around the screen, that shows where we were….behind the screen. The big screen was what everyone was watching the show on from the other side of it. We never saw the faces of any of the people playing the music. I felt so stupid and was out almost $400. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets elsewhere. When you do call customer service, they are rude and belittle you, that is, if you can understand them through the heavy accents. Awful company!!

Buyer beware. This reviews rates Stubhub a zero. If something goes wrong your money is gone. Absolutely fraudulent business. Their reviews speak for themselves. After realizing I was unable to attend an event I purchased tickets for, I put those tickets up for sale. I never received those tickets so I was unable to forward to the buyer. This was months before the event. I called Stub Hub for months in an attempt to receive those tickets. I was told I would receive them a week prior, then a 5 days prior, then the day prior to the event. The day before the event, I still had no tickets. I called them and told them I had to get this transaction done because within 12 hours I would be on a plane and would not be able to forward those tickets to my prospective buyer. The representative told me, Stub hub would do the transfer for me since I'd never received those tickets. Assuming this issue was taken care of I never checked my email.
Hours prior to the event I was in the air and the order came through. I called stub hub and argued with a representative for an hour and a half who was convinced I was a liar until I finally convinced him to play back their recorded call. I gave him the date, time, and duration of the call. After putting me on hold he came back and apologized. He'd heard the previous representative tell me Stub hub would do my transfer for me. Then he escalated the case. I asked for a case number. He couldn't provide one.
I called for several weeks to check the progress and was finally told Stub hub will not be reimbursing me regardless of their mistake. I spent $486 on tickets I never received, I was misinformed, then refused refund. This process lasted months. I disputed it with all evidence to my credit card company who reimbursed me in full. Stub hub took money, lied, gave no service, and dropped my calls. Complete failure from start to finish. There's a word for this type of business.... fraud.

Drove 1100 miles from Montana to Minnesota for the Timberwolves/Nuggets game on Friday night. They assured us our tickets would be ready by 5 pm which was only a couple hours before the start time of the game. We call at 5:10 to explain we hadn't received our tickets. They said they couldn't get a hold of the seller and would reissue us new tickets. Two minutes later I received an email saying they could not find other tickets so were offering a full refund as they said they tried to offer us replacement tickets but we declined. They never offered or gave us any information on replacement tickets. So after tons of gas and hotel money we were out of luck and my son and his two friends were very upset. So I ended up finding new tickets for over $500 a piece instead of $240. This site is a sham and the government should shut them down immediately.

Ripped off by StubHub. I understand every company must make a profit to survive, but the fees charged on my last ticket purchase at StubHub were outrageous. So much so that I have deleted my account and will never purchase from them again. The fees for the purchase on two tickets listed at $104.06 was $78.79, then I had to pay taxes on top of those charges. Like my wife said, "someone has to pay for those executives' Lamborghinis". It's not going to be me.

Horrible experience. I tried to list tickets for a game 1 day before a game with them and the tickets would not list. I received an email from Stubhub that stated (right after I tried to list), "Do not try to relist your tickets, we are checking to see if the listing is valid and will get back you in 72 hours." So, Iisted them with another account and sold them. Stubhub listed the tickets anyway, sold them and then charged me a fee. I called x 3 and they said, it may have been an error and they would have a supervisor call me. STILL WAITING for the call 3 mos later.

All Stubhub does is lie, lie, and lie. I bought tickets on there from a seller one year in advance of a concert. Come to find out, the tickets include an age restriction that was not disclosed. Stubhub then lied to me and told me the restriction was inaccurate. Come to find out it wasn’t. Stubhub refused to let me return the tickets which could then not be used, and the only option was to resell them. They still charged me the fees to resell, and when I explained the situation, they lied and told me they would recommend my tickets via the platform to try to get more eyes on them and then they didn’t. I tried getting a refund on the fees, asking for them to charge them back from the original seller who lied on the ticket details, but they refused. This was after 4 hours of runaround with their customer service department. Stubhub should be shut down.

I purchased two General Admission (standing) tickets to a Taylor Swift concert planning to bring my 11-year-old daughter, with StubHub's only disclosure stating that under 15 should be accompanied by an adult. Only later did I learn from the internet that children under 12 are not allowed in this section. I had to buy a second set of tickets for a seated section and am still trying to get StubHub to refund the $1800 I spent on the first set of tickets. After about 10 messages back and forth with customer service they have admitted there is an age minimum in the section I originally purchased, but still are writing circular responses suggesting that somehow they can't refund my money and are taking no responsibility. Total scam.

Don’t use StubHub!!!! I had two tickets listed for sale, which contained an aisle seat. Someone just wanted one seat, which they thought they were buying the aisle seat. Unfortunately they picked the other seat. I was told by StubHub that I HAD to refund the money to the person and give them the other seat. All this happened as I was selling the aisle seat. The tickets transferred to the purchaser already, but StubHub said they would take my money back anyways!!!! The way StubHub handled this means at anytime they can cancel the sale and take your money away! Really bad! I will NEVER use StubHub ever again, and will tell everyone possible to stay away as well!!!
