I had the worst experience buying tickets off of this site. Who runs this? I understand you guys omg. Be careful buying tickets from this site. They don’t protect the customers. I understand they are a third party site but wow can you say non helpful also non considerate, non caring and absolutely no compassion if there's a problem with the tickets you purchased. Can you say scam because I thought this company gives replacements if the seller can’t provide wrong. No thank you never again!!

BEWARE of doing business with StubHub. I bought concert tickets to see Paul Simon in Seattle and at checkout was asked if I would like to purchase a Parking Pass for the Event. I clicked yes. It was a big rigamarole to actually get the pass after I had paid for it. I was able to print it on the day of the event. I drove 2 hours to the concert venue site, where there is a secure garage, for which I thought I had purchased this pass. The price at the garage was less than I paid, but I thought that was the cost of paying for a convenience I didn't need.

At the garage across the street from the event site, it was pointed out that the Parking Pass I was issued was for a different site. I drove to the site for the prepaid parking pass and I found that the pass was for an empty lot with a small sign nearly a half mile away, over the freeway, in a neighborhood that was mostly abandoned. It was scary and insecure. I communicated initially with the Virtual Agent that said StubHub has a customer satisfaction guarantee if the product they delivered was not satisfactory, and it connected me to a Live Agent.

The live agent said that my misfortune was my problem, and StubHub would not help. When I called StubHub the next day, I was told the same thing. The agent and their supervisor said that Stub Hub actually does not guarantee buyer satisfaction, and implied it was my fault for using them to purchase a parking pass, because they are only a Transfer Agent that does not pay any attention to or guarantee that a parking pass sold as "for an event" is actually a reasonable place to park for the event. They said that as long as the seller claims it is for the event, then it must be so. The seller was obviously a scam artist, and StubHub was complicit and unhelpful. AVOID STUBHUB!!!!!

Purchased parking passes for two different events at the same location, Chase Field, in downtown Phoenix. The parking garage is right across the street from the venue, and we have parked there many times in the past. Upon purchase, I received the passes which were not the location I purchased, but at a church parking lot one mile away from the venue (I would not pay $40+ to park a mile away!). I contacted Stubhub and told them the tickets I received were not the tickets that I purchased and I wanted my money back. I was told that the tickets I received were what was listed and basically nothing could be done. I then sent customer service the screenshot of the tickets as I was purchasing them, which clearly showed the location that I wanted. I also provided a screenshot of the tickets I received, clearly a different location. I was again told that the tickets I received were the tickets that were listed and too bad.

I decided to resell the tickets and went to Stubhub. When I got to the section that asks "where are your seats", it populates automatically and showed the address that I originally purchased (not the address listed on the tickets I received). The system would not let me put in the address of the tickets that Stubhub said that I bought!!! There is clearly some type of fraud or a glitch in the Stubhub website and they do not want to do anything about it. Their “FanProtect Guarantee” is worthless. I will be reporting Stubhub to the Better Business Bureau and will never use Stubhub again. Save your money, they are scammers.

When you list your tickets, sometimes Stubhub will not categorize your tickets as "Recommended." Their website will tell you what to do to get them "Recommended," but doing those suggestions does not necessarily make a difference. The three main things their site tells you to do are to price tickets competitively, give row and seat details, and to pre-upload the tickets to their site. I did all of those things. My price was significantly below what I paid for them when they initially went on sale on TicketMaster. What really irks me, is when viewing which tickets were recommended in my same section on Stubhub, seats that were behind my row with obstructed views and costing $50 more per ticket were recommended and had no seat or row details and were not preuploaded.

My tickets had a clear view, all row and seat details, were pre-uploaded, yet would not change to "Recommended," no matter how much I dropped the price. When I asked their agents about this, they said that the "Recommended" setting is set by their system, and they cannot change that. They also told me that high volume sellers are able to get "Recommended" even when the prices are higher. In other words, "Recommended" does not necessarily mean much to buyers, just to their high volume sellers. They would not escalate this issue, their customer service is really quite horrible.

I would not recommend using this platform to sell tickets. I tried multiple times to transfer my tickets and spoke to customer service at least 7 times. I have the emails to prove it and shared it with them. Despite all that, they were never able to help me complete the transfer. Since the tickets weren’t selling and I couldn’t get support, I decided to just attend the concert myself. Of course, the day before, someone finally wanted to buy them, but by then I had already traveled. The company still charged me the full price for the sale, even though I used the ticket myself. So I ended up paying double. I pleaded with them and sent all of the email documentation showing the back-and-forth. A month later, they finally responded just to deny my request. Absolutely unacceptable. I’ll never use this platform again.

Ticketmaster issued tickets two hours before the event, I called them and they said they cannot handle it since I didn't buy tickets directly from them. So I called StubHub, from one agent to another, three agents later, still no resolution. I cannot fully express my disgust and dissatisfaction. I used StubHub for the first and last time. I ordered tickets that included a parking pass. At the end of the purchase, I saw two add on boxes (one for parking and one for insurance). Both boxes were automatically checked. I didn’t realize that I had to uncheck those boxes to decline those add ons. I didn’t think it was obvious how it was set up. Not knowing that cost me an extra $78 (parking and insurance I didn’t need). The freaking concert tickets were $60! As it wasn’t an intentional purchase, I contacted customer service chat and was told StubHub has a no refund policy. No refunds for any reason. As far as the ticket insurance, I was told to call the insurance company directly, who also have a “no refund for any reason” policy. My only option was to resell the parking pass by listing it on the website (which is difficult to navigate).

The parking pass resold within a day, though I noticed $8 was missing. The original price of the extra (accidentally purchased) parking pass was $33.50. I got $25 on the resale. The way checkout is set up, extra fees are nearly unavoidable. With resales, you won’t get the full amount you paid (assuming due to fees they take out without explanation). After all that, they had the balls to send a survey. Fill in the blanks on that one! I can only assume the person on the other end of the resale also loses out, which is two losses to StubHub’s gain. Hard pass. I don’t do business with companies that operate like this.

My husband bought me tickets in early May 2025 to see The Fray in DC on 8/1/25. It was $500 for our 2 seats. He also prepaid for parking. He constantly checked the app in the weeks leading up to the show, and the tickets were never delivered. He tried their chat feature at least 6 times leading up to the day of the show and was reassured each time that the tickets would be delivered by 4 pm that day. Needless to say, that never happened. He then reached out 3 times after 4pm on the day of the show and was told the seller would not release the tickets, but they would give us 2 other seats (general admission) despite the fact that we paid for premium seats.

When my husband refused that offer and asked for a refund, the chat agent disconnected the chat, all 3 times. They said they need to review our refund request for 72 hours to determine if we are owed a refund. I am confident every single person employed by Stubhub (from the pathetic chat agents to the slimy executives) does not have a soul, never mind any morals. To make matters worse, I had actually called customer service three days prior to the concert to verify the legitimacy of the tickets, and they assured me that everything was fine. It feels incredibly misleading and irresponsible on their part, especially given the special occasion for which I bought the tickets. Do NOT trust StubHub — especially for major events. I purchased tickets back in January for the Bad Bunny concert in Puerto Rico (August date). StubHub said the tickets would be emailed on the day of the event but they never arrived. After multiple calls and long hold times, we were offered alternative tickets and told to wait. Two hours passed, and still nothing. StubHub agents eventually said our only option was a refund even though their FanProtect Guarantee clearly states we’re entitled to comparable or better tickets if something goes wrong. What makes this worse is that we found better tickets available online at that very moment and StubHub’s team flat-out refused to honor their policy. Every time we asked to speak to a supervisor or someone with decision-making authority, we were either placed on hold indefinitely or hung up on.

We flew to Puerto Rico specifically for this concert paying inflated prices for flights, hotels, and everything else. If we had known StubHub would leave us stranded, we would have traveled at another time and avoided the unnecessary expense. This ruined what should have been an unforgettable experience. StubHub failed to deliver what they promised. Their customer service was evasive and dismissive, and their guarantee means nothing if they refuse to stand by it. I paid for tickets well in advance with great seats to an event that I would be traveling for. Five days before the event, I was informed that the seller could not deliver the tickets and StubHub gave me a button to click on to find replacement tickets, which of course, there were none that they would be willing to pay for since it was only five days away and prices had skyrocketed. I contacted customer support and they told me the only thing they could do is refund me. So I had to rebuy new tickets with worse seating for hundreds of dollars more. I don't know how they can allow sellers to post and sell tickets for sale and then not follow through. I'm extremely upset about this and will never do business with StubHub again.

Stubhub sucks because their entire business model sucks. It depends on other randos actually making their tickets available if they ever existed in the first place. It's like if only half the products on eBay were real and most of the time, you are having to get refunds. People suck, so StubHub is going to suck no matter what.

Do yourself a massive favor and NEVER give your money to StubHub. This company is a complete scam. I purchased two tickets for my fiancé’s birthday, then received an email saying they were canceled. Panicked (since we had already booked a hotel and rental car for this event, I am travelling from a different country for this event), I bought two more tickets to make sure we didn’t miss it. A short time later, I received another email saying the original tickets were not canceled. I immediately contacted StubHub and spoke to a representative who assured me that I would be refunded for the extra tickets. I sent them proof. The cancellation email, the duplicate ticket purchase, everything. I was told my refund would be processed in 5–8 days.

Fast-forward a few days later, I follow up and speak to someone else who tells me I won’t be receiving a single cent back. Why? Because after I bought the extra tickets, they magically decided the originals were still valid. No apology, no responsibility, no integrity. So now I’m out over $300 because of their screw-up. I was misled, lied to and treated like my time and money meant nothing. StubHub does not care about its customers. They will take your money and leave you hanging without a second thought. I will NEVER use this platform again and I will go out of my way to make sure none of my friends, family, or followers ever do either. You’ve been warned!!!

For some reason when I got to the parking lot at the event I could not pull up the pass. When I tried to log into my StubHub account to retrieve the pass, I was told I could not do so because my email address and password were not a match. I repeatedly requested a new password be sent to my email address and it never was. I had to go pay to park at another lot. I later attempted to recover the $100 I spent on the pass, but it was a waste of time - their customer service is not the greatest. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other available parking pass sites.

TERRIBLE experience. My friend purchased a ticket to the Chris Stapleton concert at MSG to join my Mom and I for her birthday. We spent the entire day trying to get her ticket through StubHub. We were told that it’s normal to get them right before the event. We got to the event… no tickets. MSG ticketing staff tried their best to help but since StubHub is a third party there wasn’t much they could do. We spent most of the afternoon trying to get in touch with someone at StubHub to help us either get a refund or our tickets only to be put on hold for 30+ minutes at a time which took away from us enjoying the evening. We tried all the way up to an hour before the event but ultimately the show was sold out and my friend had to take the train back home and couldn’t attend the show with us.

The next morning I tried to request a refund but they denied me because the refund needs to be requested the same day of the event… terrible customer policy. Did they expect us to spend hours waiting for someone to initiate the refund while we were attending the concert? Absolutely not. We are now in the process of declining the charge with my friend's credit card company. Even the ticketing staff and security at MSG warned us about the issues they’ve had with StubHub. The security woman told us to decline the charge. Insane. So disappointed and angry. We will NEVER use StubHub again and believe they should be shut down. Ticketmaster is the only validated way to buy tickets per the ticketing staff at MSG, so I’d recommend that or buying direct from the venue if you can.

This is quite the racket you guys have developed. Take a customer's money, hold it for 6 months, fail to provide the service, give the money back. The customer should be happy, right? They were not actually out any money. Except, you guys do this to a couple hundred customers at every venue all over North America every week and it adds up to millions of dollars in an interest bearing account and you guys just keep the interest. That interest adds up to hundreds of thousands of dollars a week and must be millions of dollars a year. Pretty smart, neat scam.

We bought these tickets on 12/9/2024, and did not find out the "seller" did not actually have tickets to release until 7:00 pm on 7/26/2025. Too late to get tickets now. This was not just some concert. It was a Christmas present, a promise. It was not just a half hour in traffic. It was a four-hour drive there, and a four-hour drive back...To another country. I sincerely hope your bonus is great this year. Please know it is paid for with children's broken hearts, unfulfilled promises, unanswered wishes, and a lot of people's wasted time, so spend it wisely. So, the buyer is stuck with a "trust factor" that the description in the heading of the post is all you have to go by. In my case, no exact row/seat was in the posting.... The heading said "Center Close" for the location. I bought the ticket. The sale went through. I look at the location and it's the rear section, 4th row from extreme back of the venue. Nowhere near any subjective assessment of "close", in fact, 4 rows from furthest extreme.

I contact Stubhub. Was Told someone would call me within a week. No call, but, today finally an email. I question the deceptive practice and fraudulent nature, they blow me off. Buyer beware, do not ever purchase unless location is disclosed. Throughout my attempts to resolve my issue, I was met with dismissive attitudes and a complete lack of empathy. On several occasions, the representatives hung up on me mid-conversation, which not only prevented any progress toward a resolution but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for my concerns as a customer.

The most egregious example of their unprofessionalism was when a representative stated, "You can ask God to give you a refund because we won’t." Such a comment is not only inappropriate but also deeply offensive. This level of disrespect is unacceptable from any customer service interaction, especially from a company as large as StubHub. I expect a higher standard of service and a genuine effort to assist customers, neither of which I received. Myself, my wife and 2 daughters were going, it was the first concert we were all going to attend together. Throughout those 10 months we check the account to see if we can download the tickets just for peace of mind. Received an email from Stubhub indicating that the seller won't release the tickets until 24 hours prior to the show (not an uncommon practice for second party ticket agents). Checked email today (7/15/2025) and Stubhub account this morning, still no tickets.

I placed a call at 9:00 AM to Stubhub customer service and they told me that they have reached out to the seller and they have not returned their emails. Their Customer service representative said he has until 3:00 PM today to release, if the seller does not release the tickets Stubhub said they will replace the tickets that are comparable in price and seat location. They said there were plenty of tickets available and that should not be a problem.

3:00 PM passes and still no tickets. While we are on the road to Gillette we place 5 phone calls all significantly helpful to their representative flat out lying saying that they sent us emails with our new tickets only to open emails saying there were none available. 5:17 PM we are in the parking lot and after 3 more calls we get a customer service representative saying they have four tickets, reciting the section and seat numbers and saying she emailed them to us. We finally received the email and we got the same message saying tickets were not available. Just a flat out lie!

6:03: At this point the concert is about to start and we are in a parking lot at Gillete on the phone just trying to get a straight answer and if we are lucky maybe the truth would be conveyed. Much to our chagrin the same story..."we sent you tickets and it took you too long for you to claim them. Each line they recited from their script was a blatant lie. My kids were upset and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement.

6:24: No tickets for a sold out show and a car load of people who have been looking forward to this concert for 10 months!! We are now realizing that we are not getting tickets for tonight. We ask the customer service representative if we can get tickets for tomorrow night (7/16) same thing; "we sent you tickets and it took you too long for you to claim them... Not getting anywhere and frustrated that we made the ride all the way to Foxboro only to turn around and go back in traffic.

6:43: Finally we asked for our refund and they said that our refund will be available immediately, in the hope that we can use it to purchase tickets from another 2nd party ticket vendor. "You should be receiving your refund right now." I kept this person on the phone for 20 minutes knowing that in the contents of the 10 fake email links they send me in every correspondence it says, "refunds can take up to 7 business days to receive." Just another egregious lie. Now I'm not so sure if I will receive my refund. To StubHub: A Grandson’s Disappointment After a Cross-Country Journey. My 10-year-old grandson Elijah recently called me with a huge request — to take him to see his favorite K-pop group, Blackpink, in concert. It would be his very first concert, and it was all he could talk about. I live in Florida, he lives in Arizona, and the concert was in Los Angeles. But for him, I said yes without hesitation. I immediately went to StubHub and purchased 4 tickets. My best friend and her 11-year-old grandson decided to join us for the trip. I flew to Arizona to pick up Elijah, then we flew together to San Diego, where we met our friends and drove to LA. The kids were bursting with excitement — especially Elijah. He knows every Blackpink song, and the idea of seeing them live was a dream come true.

When we arrived at SoFi Stadium, we noticed the boys were among the youngest in the crowd — but Elijah was proud and ready. This was his moment. That’s when everything fell apart. The tickets I bought had not yet been released. StubHub support told me they’d be available by 5 PM. But as we got closer to showtime, there were still no tickets. Eventually, I was told by email that the tickets were no longer available and that I could accept a full refund or pick new seats. Unfortunately, the concert was completely sold out. There were no seats left.

We had flown across the country, spent hundreds on flights and hotels, all for a night that never happened. My grandson was devastated. His first concert — the one he’d been counting down the days for — was gone in an instant. I am sharing this not just for a refund, but for awareness. When families trust your platform, they’re not just buying tickets — they’re investing in memories. Please, do better for the next Elijah.

    Sincerely,

    A heartbroken but hopeful grandma

I missed the entire event because StubHub failed to deliver tickets or provide real-time support.

The next day, I called StubHub for a refund. The first agent hung up as soon as I mentioned it. The second agent blamed me for not resolving it during the event — even though I was chatting with their support team while at the box office before the show started. They even denied I had contacted them, despite proof. Imagine paying $200, getting broken links, no tickets, no help, a ruined night — and then being blamed for it. StubHub’s customer service wasn’t just unprofessional — it was insulting. They failed to deliver tickets, denied responsibility, and left me with nothing but a ruined evening and an empty wallet. If you value your time, money, and dignity, stay far away from StubHub. Their platform is unreliable, their support dismissive, and when things go wrong, they’ll blame you instead of fixing it.

StubHub is a scam. They operate as a platform for scammers and do little to protect their customers when things go wrong. They don’t keep proper records of phone calls or online chats with their agents, making it nearly impossible to resolve. Buying tickets on StubHub is no safer than buying them from Craigslist: you face the same risk of being scammed. And when that happens, StubHub’s response is, “There’s nothing we can do. Our system says we can't do anything.” The Bowl box office and Ticketmaster confirmed in writing that the tickets are invalid. StubHub should issue a refund, but StubHub refuses to act. They show no interest in proof that a seller was fraudulent. According to Ticketmaster, they’ve have a lot of issues with StubHub.

Then after I had sent the tickets to the buyer they didn't want them and said I put the wrong seat down. I email them and StubHub to tell them what happen. Again. Remember the buyer has my tickets... They canceled my payment then charged me $300 to replace the tickets.. Why didn't the funds come from them. I never received a payment because the show is on July 20th. Today is July 10th and you don't receive payment until 5 days after the show. So the buyer has my tickets for free and stubhub has $300 of my money!!

Stubhub got me to click it to book tickets to my local Bend baseball team game. But instead somehow linked to a game elsewhere with different teams. $152 + for 5 tickets. I am unable to cancel or get my $ refunded. They are impossible to deal with via phone; no better than an AI robot reading you their carefully scripted legal defense. They are shameless. How they managed to fool me is that they had the tickets listed under the other team scheduled to play in Bend. Yet the Elks box office says that they have no right to do so; to sell tickets that way.

Recently Purchased 2 Tickets through StubHub to a Yankees game, the tickets were bought approximately 3 weeks before the game. I kept checking the site to see if I had received the tickets but nothing, fast forward to game day I’m getting ready to leave home for the game at 5 pm first pitch. 7:05pm I’m checking the site still no tickets available. Because it was so close to Game time I have already left home on my way to the stadium calling customer service trying to figure out where is my tickets I’ve purchased over 3 weeks ago. Customer service representative told me that there was a problem by seller to transfer the tickets and those tickets aren’t available right now. So you mean to tell me nobody could have followed up or sent an update about this development but only knew until I reached out already on the way to the venue to learn about this “discovery”.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Stubhub worst experience of my life!!! And also the resolution that was offered were alternative seats switch. The one offered to me were terrible options. Not anywhere close to the seats I chosen 3 weeks ago. The prices for the game went up because it was a popular game. But that wasn’t my fault. I felt like better options could have been offered to accommodate me considering the circumstances. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor the Customer service representative told me they wouldn’t do anything different he was doing. That this was the Ultimate solution either accept these terrible seating options or you can get your refund in 5-7 business days. Well I took my refund and had to scramble looking for tickets last minute because I was already at the venue but as far as me being a customer of STUBHUB again forget about it. 🙅🏼‍♂️

On the day of the event, I waited as long as I could, but the delay forced me to find alternative parking. I did not use the tickets because they arrived after I had to park elsewhere. When I contacted customer support, I was told they wouldn’t issue a refund because I didn’t reach out before the event started. This is unfair. I couldn’t waste time chasing them while trying to attend the event I paid for. The delay was entirely their fault, not mine. They refused to refund or credit me for a service I paid for but could not use. It’s a SCAM! Stay away from it! The “FanProtect Guarantee” is pure misleading information. We bought tickets 3 weeks in advance (Order # **). 3 days before the event, I received an email to transfer the tickets. Followed by an email stating: “seller has cancelled the sending of a mobile ticket”. For over 72 hours and more than a dozen customer service representatives apologizing, promising resolution, “will call you back in 4 hours or less”, etc. etc. nothing was solved. The day before the event, they told me to call by 5 PM on the day of the event and they will let me choose other comparable tickets or reimburse me. I clearly stated every single time that I don’t want a refund. At 5 PM they changed the story, and the problem will be solved between 5 PM and 8 PM. BTW, the event was at 9 PM (6/20/25).

Long story short, we were seating in the parking lot and never heard from them. We called unsuccessfully, just to keep hearing excuses and empty promises. Around 8:20 PM we bought other (VERY OVERPRICED) tickets through a REAL company. The next StubHub email was received at 6:53 AM, the following day of the event!!! They RUINED the whole experience! Instead of us seating inside the venue, enjoying the moment, we were all stressed out and anxious sitting in the parking lot! And we NEVER got the chance to select alternative tickets. Sadly, I can't leave a ZERO-star rating... NEVER AGAIN! My advice: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!

⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Experience with StubHub. I had a horrible experience with StubHub and their customer service. My account was hacked, and my purchased tickets were transferred to another account without my authorization. It has been over 30 days with no resolution, and the concert is next week. After waiting for weeks with no updates, I had no choice but to repurchase another ticket out of my own pocket.

To make things worse, when I called customer service today, I spoke with an agent named Joe who was extremely condescending and unhelpful. Instead of assisting me, he blamed me for the hack, falsely claiming that I must have shared my password (which I did not). When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he refused multiple times, saying I had no reason to escalate the issue. He even made insulting comments, implying that I should “comprehend” his explanation by now. StubHub’s lack of security, poor communication, and awful customer service make purchasing tickets through them a huge risk. If something goes wrong, do not expect them to help. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience with StubHub, which has not only been frustrating but has also led to significant financial inconvenience and a complete loss of trust in your platform. On Monday, June 23rd at approximately 10:00 AM, I purchased two tickets for the Jackson Browne concert scheduled for June 28th. The seats were located in Section 101, Row V — a premium section close to the stage — for a total cost of $418. Based on this confirmed purchase, I also secured a hotel reservation in Philadelphia at an additional cost of approximately $500. However, at 11:17 PM that same day, I received an email from StubHub stating that the original seller was unable to fulfill the order. The message continued by offering replacement tickets in Section 207, Row N — claiming they were “comparable” to my original selection. They are not.

The substitute tickets are significantly farther from the stage and clearly of lesser value. As of my checking, tickets in the originally purchased section are currently priced around $324 each, while those in the replacement section are around $250. This disparity in both seating quality and market value is unacceptable — and calling them "comparable" is misleading at best.

With no viable alternative presented, I reluctantly accepted the replacement tickets, as StubHub left me with no real choice. Yet even by 4:30 PM the following day, I had not received confirmation of delivery. When I contacted customer service, I was told only that I should expect the tickets no later than 2 PM on the day of the event. Frankly, based on how this has unfolded, I have no confidence that I will receive the tickets at all. If I don’t, I’ll be left with not only a ruined experience, but also an unnecessary $500 hotel bill.

What’s most disappointing is that this situation feels like a textbook example of a bait-and-switch: I purchased tickets of a certain quality and price, only to be forced into accepting lower-value seats with no recourse. This is not just poor service — it’s unethical business practice. Until now, I’ve been a loyal customer for over ten years and have generally had positive experiences with StubHub. Sadly, this situation has eroded all trust. I will no longer be using your service and will be sharing this experience publicly to ensure others are aware of the risk they assume by purchasing through your platform.

Don't use Stubhub, it's as simple as that! We bought tickets and parking to a concert at the Greek Theatre. The concert tickets arrived but the parking did not. Day of the event, I started reaching out to Stubhub about the status of my parking pass. Come to find that The Greek does not accept parking passes from any outside vendors like Stubhub or Ticketmaster, yet they still sell it. So basically, Stubhub was selling something that does not exist. When I complained, they told me they would refund the parking but not the tickets to the event. When I asked them how I was supposed to get to the event, since parking was sold out, they basically said that was not their problem and disconnected the chat I was on, which was very rude. They gave me the run around, told me someone would call or email but I never received either.

The concert now starts in 3 hours and I guess I have 2 choices, pay for an Uber (I'm talking over $300) or lose out on the tickets. I am livid. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee is a myth. They don't care. They were offering parking for an event that will not take their parking passes, which is FRAUD to me. StubHub says "your trusted site." That is such a joke. The worst part is that the "seller" of the parking pass on StubHub will be blocked just reappear under another name, pocketing all this parking money. Yet my husband and I will miss out on the concert we wanted to see and still won't get a refund on anything. Go directly with event sites or don't go at all. Shame on you StubHub.

Finally after hours they sent me the link. We had seats in Section 31, they offered me General Admission. I said that this was a significant downgrade as these seats were listed on their website for $200 per ticket less than what we paid and there were comparable seats available for less $100 per ticket more than we originally paid. I said I wanted those, and they absolutely refused. I ended up being forced to take the refund and buy those tickets and was out over $500. Folks DO NOT buy any even tickets from StubHub!!!! I had a disappointing experience with StubHub. They shamefully overcharge for event tickets, and on top of that, they add an outrageous 50% in additional fees to the ticket price. To make matters worse, refunds are not even an option, leaving customers feeling trapped. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, it felt like they were just pretending to help without actually addressing my concerns. I would not recommend StubHub to anyone looking for a fair ticket purchasing.

I'm now being told after a review, I will get my money back. I'm not holding my breath. Don't deal with this group, no matter how good the seats/price might seem.

Stubhub violates their seller agreement, routinely. I sold tickets on May 22, uploaded as instructed, but Stubhub failed to transfer them and then charged ME penalties! I have proof and spoke to agents who said Stubhub had it covered. What was advertised as simple convenient way to sell tickets (for a substantial fee) has turned into a costly and time intensive endeavor for me. Stubhub makes an error, charges seller hundreds of dollars, then tells seller to wait for over a month for them to "look into it". A ridiculous situation where the user takes the hit, not Stubhub. After researching, I've found out this isn't an uncommon scenario. Seller beware!

When the game started I texted customer support who at first agreed to refund me but then changed their mind when the tickets were sent 7 minutes after the game started saying it was close enough, even though this violates the terms of the Fanprotect guarantee policy. This company is a joke, the fees are much lower on Seatgeek and they sent the tickets immediately.

StubHub offers a valuable service, but when you are trying to sell tickets to an event that isn't mainstream and in their wheelhouse they are sorely lacking. Their event website is a joke and their customer service people can only tell you what is on their screen and that is what you already know. They seem to have some agreement with the Goliath of the industry, Ticketmaster, but their customer service people should know the ins and outs of that relationship and how it affects buyers. I am so glad this event is soon and I am rid of this nightmare.

Two days ago, several months later, they emailed me saying my tickets have been “upgraded.” This “upgrade” meant that I was moved to the VERY TOP and VERY BACK of the stadium. This is in no way an upgrade. When I called and asked about this issue, they assured me that they would find me “comparable tickets.” After two days with no communication from StubHub I finally called back and they informed me that the “upgraded” tickets WERE the comparable tickets and they could do nothing about it.

They kept repeating that they were “third party” but refused to give me any information about the original seller which meant any resolutions had to go through them. I repeated that my current physical condition did not allow me to climb to the top of the stadium. They refused to acknowledge this and did not offer any other solutions. They refused to let me speak to any managers or higher ups. They have given me no other explanation as to why the tickets I bought last year are suddenly unavailable to me. Please avoid StubHub. Do not use this service. They will give you awful seats (which cost a fraction of the small fortune I spent on the originals) and tell you to be grateful that you are in the arena at all.

When speaking to a customer rep today, 5/9/25, I kindly explained that I purposely did not select the option for a refund as I wanted to dispute the cost of the original ticket plus the cost of the new tickets I had to buy last minute.

The customer service rep proceeded to tell me I selected the option for a refund, which was false, and therefore there wasn’t anything that could be done to further compensate me. They also proceeded to tell me that I was sent emails days prior to my event stating that my tickets wouldn’t be delivered in time and that there was something wrong with my email, which was false. I did not receive any emails, nor is anything wrong with my email or they wouldn’t have been able to send emails during the time of my dispute. Additionally, the status of the tickets wouldn’t have still said “tickets on time,” meaning, they would be on time to deliver to me up until 15 minutes before the start of the event.

After speaking with more than one customer service rep about my position, they refused to compensate me for the difference of my tickets with either money back or credit to use in the future. I got no compensation and when I tried to tell them about what happened, they told me that, there is nothing they can do. No partial refund, no credit, essentially, nothing.

So their customer service lied to me, barely reached out to the vendor, if at all, and made me waste my time. It would be one thing if I had waited until right before the event to cancel and get my money back, but I reached out to them well ahead of time, at least a few months before the start of the event. These tickets cost well over $950 dollars.

If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. Do not do business with them, if you can avoid it. If I could make it it the event, sure, great, fine, I have the tickets, but if you have to cancel the order, too bad for you. It might be different if they had said this from the start, but their customer service lied to me and gave me false hope. StubHub sold me a parking pass for the NCAA tournament. I paid $53.84 after fees and services. Three weeks after the event I was notified of an additional $92 fee because the parking agency does not authorize a resale of their parking passes. StubHub refused to assist noting that it was more than 7 days after the event. The fact that they had no right to sell the pass was deemed not to be relevant to the matter. If I had purchased directly from company, I would have paid just $22. Thanks to StubHub, my total bill is $145.

I know when and when not to use Stubhub for the most part. My wife on the other hand had no idea until now. She was surprising me with tickets to a Brian Regan show at The Clyde Theater in Fort Wayne, IN on Sun, April 27 for my 40th birthday. Looks like they double booked him, and he had a show in Ohio the same night. After numerous calls to StubHub, they still cannot confirm that this event was cancelled. They have the email showing proof directly from The Clyde in our file, mind you. I am a very patient man, but this is overboard.

Here we are May 4th and can't even get a reference number for the claim. They will do whatever it takes to not give money back. As you know, there is no such thing as a cheap ticket from StubHub. We have 3 littles ones and full-time jobs. Our "free time" is really nonexistent, and this was a very nice gift and much needed date night. Thank you, StubHub, for wasting any extra time we had so that we could get nowhere with you any time we call. I now know to never use your services again.

Bought the wrong date and immediately (30 seconds later) called Stub Hub to try to change the tickets. They refused and said I can buy another set with all of the fees. Then try selling the other tickets and lose money on the fees. I asked if that was ethical and the representative had no idea what the word ethical meant. I’d stay away from this company and buy tickets elsewhere.

I wish I could give zero stars. I had the worst experience ever with StubHub. I bought a ticket weeks ahead of time to see Dead and Company at The Sphere in Las Vegas. A few days in advance, my ticket was not there. I called multiple times a day - they kept saying it would come, and that the seller would resend the ticket. I asked them to give me a refund so I could buy another ticket (while there were still reasonable tickets for sale), and they would not, and told me I had to wait until 4:30 the day of the show. Fast forward to the day of the show at 4:30 - they said, "Oh, we don't know who told you that, you have to wait until 30 minutes before the show!!"

I spent hours on the phone with them that day, trying to get my ticket - ruining my entire day where I was supposed to be enjoying myself at the pool - at 6:30, still no ticket. 30 minutes before the show I was on the phone with a representative, and they told me they were sending me a link to my ticket - the link was actually a refund! THAT DOESN'T HELP ME WHEN I AM SUPPOSED TO BE LEAVING FOR THE SHOW! They did this despite the fact that I could see multiple tickets for sale on their website - they just didn't want to give me one of those because they could sell it for more (and the rep actually told me that - he said they have potential buyers for those ones, so they wouldn't give me one).

I had to turn around and buy a ticket for twice as much for a seat that was 10x worse than my original seat. DO NOT BUY FROM STUBHUB. I had a similar thing happen with Vivid Seats once, and they promptly replaced my tickets early the day of the show. I will be pursuing a complaint with StubHub and disputing the charge on my credit card for their predatory acts and horrible service.

Anyone that has had this happen to them is aware of the headaches of going through contacting all of the accounts being paid on a regular basis by their credit card. I have had multiple bad experiences with Stubhub, and will never be using this service again. The first bad experience I had was when I bought a Bonnaroo ticket in 2019. My wristband came in the mail CUT IN HALF. When I got to the ticket office, and presented my broken wristband, they said it had already been scanned and could not be used for entry. Stubhub was unable to contact the seller, and therefore, the issue was never resolved. Eventually someone at the ticketing office felt bad enough for me to give me an extra wristband. I never received a refund.

The second bad experience was last weekend (2025). I bought a ticket to a concert 4 days before the event. I was unable to accept my tickets although they had been transferred by the seller. I went through the process of reverifying my email, and attempting to accept the ticket, multiple times. Customer support was unsure about the root cause of the issue. The ticket prices kept going up as the event got closer, and I was worried about them selling out all together.

The evening before the event I went ahead and got another ticket hoping that in the chance my original ticket successfully transferred, I would be able to request a refund. Given the long record of notes on this issue (45 min phone call with customer support, multiple email outreach attempts, and complaints to the website chat bot), I don't feel like getting refunded should've been an issue. Several hours before the event, I was finally able to claim my ticket. When I asked for a refund, and explained my concern with rising prices and the uncertainty of being able to secure my ticket, my REFUND REQUEST WAS DENIED.

My first and last experience with StubHub. I purchased concert tickets in September 2024 for a February 2025 show. In January, I received a notice saying the show was to be postponed. Now it's April. They've had my money since September - 6 months, over $400! The artist already has a future date scheduled for the same venue yet it is not considered a reschedule of my show. StubHub says I would get a full refund, if my show is "cancelled" or my tickets will still be good if my show is "rescheduled". By not officially cancelling or rescheduling a show, they just get to hang on to your money indefinitely. This is a deceptive business practice. Bad Experience. Do not use. Do not trust.

I never received my tickets from the seller for tonight’s concert! I called StubHub this morning, and they said that the seller had until 4p CT to send them to me, and if I didn’t received them by then, to call back. I didn’t receive them so I called back shortly after 4p and the man said he needed to put me on hold for 10 MINS! I said, 10 mins?! He said yes, he needed to speak to his supervisor. So I held the line and he came back on and said to look for a link at 6p (1hr before the concert) in my email inbox and that he would also call me at 6p to follow-up. He never did.

I called back at 6:30p and got a woman, Dolce, who was very nice. She immediately sent me a link to some tickets in sections to choose from for free that were “comparable” to my tickets. But they weren’t at all. I had floor seats near the stage and the two sections offered were in the balcony and nosebleed sections. So I opted for a refund. I also bought a parking pass from StubHub, however, when I went to the lot, there was a huge QR code that anyone could drive up and park/pay, and the lot was full!!! I was so angry, as I thought since I had a pass that I had a guaranteed spot. I am never using StubHub again. Dulce was the only person that actually tried to help.

I purchased tickets to a Tampa Bay Rays game and also tickets for preferred parking. All this was done at the same time, two different tickets. I have not been to Tampa for a Rays game before. Since Stubhub offered the preferred tickets, I thought it was a good idea. The approved reseller from Stubhub sent me my tickets, I accepted and on game day, we went via Google Maps, to the parking venue. Turns out it was 5 miles from the stadium.

Stubhub, after two virtual assistant chats and one 45 minute chat with their call center in the Philippines, agreed that I had been scammed and the ticket they confirmed was nowhere near the stadium. They offered me a 25% credit on my next purchase. I will never use that credit, I won't use Stubhub. Even after they agreed that they sold me the wrong ticket, no indication of what happens to the reseller. The odd thing is that the parking garage (Westshore Plaza) turned out to be FREE anyways! It's a mall parking lot. What a scam and even worse, the only loser was me! Never ever trust this company. If you have a problem, you are on your own.

I purchased tickets for a game on a Thursday and received an email for confirmation the same day with my tickets. A few days later (Saturday morning) I received an email that said my tickets were sold. I was confused and messaging a rep with StubHub and was told that unfortunately there was nothing that could be done. I purchased tickets with intentions to attend the game and that was stolen from me. I requested a refund or tickets to replace what I bought and was told they do not do that. I will not ever use or recommend stubhub to anyone that I know. I also called the Texas Rangers customer service and let them know as well and they informed me to never use them again.

I really wish I could give this company zero stars but unfortunately that’s not an option. My sister and I purchased tickets to take my niece to see Wicked when it came to San Diego in February. The tickets did show up in my sister’s app with just a barcode. When we got to the theater the app wouldn’t load. We understand glitches happen and we went to the Box Office to get them printed. When we talked to the Box Office it took a while for the tickets to be located and they said there was no record of us having tickets and we should report it to our bank as fraud.

When we got home we checked our StubHub account first and the tickets were there, so we contacted the theater thinking it was an issue on their end. After some back and forth we found out the tickets weren’t under our name and that’s why they couldn’t admit us. So they were transferred incorrectly. We then contacted StubHub customer service, who did seem genuinely concerned at first, took our info and the screenshots we sent from the theater showing our unusable tickets weren’t used, and said they’d review the claim. Don’t know how long it takes just to verify a name but it’s now a month and half later and we’ve heard nothing back. Now we’re out a lot of money and we’ve missed a show we all really wanted to see that rarely comes to San Diego. Do not trust this company!!!!

I purchased tickets 4 months ago. It states that they will be transferred the day of the event. I have received several notifications that the seller needs my mobile number (which is listed in my account). I have tried calling several ties to speak to someone and am hung up on every single time. It is a total scam with insanely high fees. I will not use again.

They are impossible to work with. I resold some tickets. I was charged the initial amount. Never got a refund. Then I was charged another amount. I kept track of all of my dealings and I tried to get in touch with StubHub and could not get in touch with a representative. Their long, long, long chat requests are incredible and I WOULD NEVER BUY anything from them again. I feel I am being cheated.

I had a confirmed order for a ticket for opening night MLB game in Phoenix. The ticket never arrived and I contacted customer service. I was told I had to wait till gametime. The agent said my case was escalated for a quick solution. I was offered alternate tickets when the game was nearly over. Customer service is a worthless joke. I was finally told I would get a refund in 5 to 10 business days after wasting a trip to the stadium and paying for parking. Stubhub guarantee does not mean you will get the ticket you purchased. Buyer beware.

I am having a very hard time with an order. I bought tickets to the Dodger game last night along with a parking pass. When I got to the lot, I found that it was a 2.5 hour walk away. I got back in my car and drove like crazy to the game, missing the pregame ceremonies (the only reason I wanted this game), paying another additional parking fee, of course. StubHub customer services said “You should have checked the address first” and “You should have contacted us immediately”.

If I would have spent time with them immediately, I would have missed the entire game. They are refusing to admit their mistake and off a refund.

I will never buy a ticket again from StubHub. The concert was changed twice due to an illness in a member of the band and the third time we could no longer go. We try to sell our tickets. After sometime we had two sets of individuals that wanted to buy our four tickets. My husband spent over three hours trying to get the tickets to transfer and even after we had email confirmations That the buyers accepted the tickets, weeks after that StubHub is asking for proof or they will not pay us for the tickets. We emailed them proof, got the survey asking about our happiness with their customer satisfaction. One day before the concert they are now emailing us telling us that if we do not proof that we sent the tickets they will not release our money. I’m not sure about most people but for privacy reasons, my husband and I clear out our emails every other week. We don’t have these emails anymore. StubHub is the worst!

Tried to sell tickets for a game that was rescheduled to a date I could not make it to. Spent two days on with customer service trying to repost them. They could never fix the problem and said, Sorry that’s all we can do." Then when I asked to speak to someone else to resolve this issue they told me to write a letter to their legal team. No email address, phone number….they only accept mail. Terrible service will never purchase anything from them again.

I purchased two tickets from StubHub for an event. There were three classes of tickets. Stage, Floor and General Admission. I selected the Floor tickets which were about $150.00 each plus their fees. The General Admission tickets were less than $50.00 each. Subsequently, I found out that there were no such thing as premium priced Floor tickets and that all tickets except the stage were general admission, nearly a $300.00 difference. I contacted StubHub by chat and live person. A mistake was admitted and that there should not have been more expensive floor tickets. However, no refund was made.

When I pursued this further, a StubHub representative blamed Live Nation. Live Nation wrote an email back to me that only StubHub published those sections and prices and the blamed lied with them. All of this is in writing. StubHub denied reimbursement and fought my PayPal claim successfully by merely showing they sent me tickets. Yes, worthless tickets. There was complete misrepresentation on their part. Don't ever buy tickets from these folks. Caveat Emptor. Invoice attached showing the gross overcharging for fakes.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I had no idea that StubHub ONLY resells other people's tickets. We paid over $600 for friends (from out of town) to see a concert with us. The site kept telling me the location had not released the tickets yet. Then the day of the concert, it told me they would not be released until 4pm. At 6pm we still didn't have tickets. I called support and they told me they had to send me an email with options because the ticket owners never released the tickets. The email options were to find another set of seats, but the concert was sold out, so our only option was to get a refund. WTH!? How can you spend that kind of money and not get your seats? If you don't have the tickets don't sell them! I will NEVER EVER USE STUBHUB AGAIN. It is a lie and a scam!

In October 2024, I purchased tickets for the 3/22/25 Tyler the Creator (Orlando, FL) concert for my son's birthday. The $900. tickets were not provided at the time of purchase and after purchase, Stubhub informed that they wouldn't be provided until four hours before the concert. The day of the concert we drove 2 hrs to the event and checked into our hotel. I kept checking for ticket release all day long and when the time came for them to be released, they didn't. I called Stubhub and asked them what I was supposed to do (again, two hour drive,/$400. non refundable hotel stay/sitting all day long while stressed about the tickets). Stubhub told me to wait until an hour before the concert was scheduled to start and call them back. The time came and still not tickets. I called them back and they said that I could get a refund on what I paid for them, or they could provide alternative tickets/seats (this is all one hour before the concert began).

They sent me the alternative ticket option (seats worse than what I paid for) and would have costed less. Out of desperation I took the seats and asked for a refund for the difference. Stubhub said that the seats costed more (the day of the concert/an hour before the event started), than what I paid for five months earlier. I'm exfederal law enforcement and will say with confidence that the business model is rife with fraud/bait and switch. The company supports sellers who post tickets for sale on multiple sites in an effort to maximize profits and leaves buyers in the dust.

Even though tickets are insured (the company will reimburse your money if the seller doesn't release tickets), they will not pay for travel, hotels, etc. to get you to the event. You will be stressed out all the way up to the start of the concert. What's more is that once your tickets are released, you must transfer them to Ticketmaster then push them to an Apple Wallet in order to scan them for entry.

It's a total scam. They did everything to sound and look legit, stating the ticket will be delivered same day as the event. However hours close to the event it still seems very far away. If you want to book your travel, miss the event and waste your money and time, go with them.
