Do not sell your tickets or purchase tickets from StubHub. They kept my money from the sale of my SEC TICKETS and tried to charge my charge card for additional money. I was able to stop the charges on my charge card with the fraud department. I have been dealing with Stub Hub's customer service department that put my case in a review department that will not answer me and ignores all my correspondence. I even had an attorney send them a letter which they returned back. Beware of this company. Just read all the reviews and you will see these people in California are just ripping people off.

At 11:30pm on 8/5/2023, we were on the site looking to order tickets for the comedian Matt Riffe. We were looking to go see him next year in August. Mind you it was 11:30 at night. We found tickets for August 5th but there was no year listed. The show was in Canada which is like an 8-10 hour drive for us. I went ahead to order the tickets while my friend ordered an Airbnb in the town where the show was going to be. The show was to begin at 10:30pm. At almost 11:45 I got an email confirmation that my show had started and I could enter the venue. They went ahead and sold me tickets to a show that was almost over for $451.13.
I tried to call immediately to cancel the order but stubhub was closed. My credit card company refused to refund me or even try to go after them for my money. Be very careful when ordering from here as there is a guarantee that you will Never see your money if you make a mistake. I will never order from this site again and I will urge everyone I know stay away from this site….

We purchased tickets for Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks at Ohio stadium 7 months prior to the show. Tickets were supposed to arrive 3 days ahead of the show date. They did not arrive so we called every day before the show and every day they told us we would get alternate tickets. It came down to an hour before the show and they told us that there were no tickets left. They said our refund is processing but has not shown up yet. The main problem is that we had driven from 6 hrs away and were then forced to buy more expensive and worse seats. They told us each day that we would get different tickets. They had three days to do so and they waited until we had no options left. They said the most compensation they could give us was $100 dollars over our refund. A drop in the bucket when we had to pay $500 dollars extra for worse seats. Stubhub is a scam, use Ticketmaster instead.

We bought tickets almost 2 months in advance. The week before we tried to download the tickets and to our surprise they were gone due "cancellation of the event" which is not the case. It was for Monday night raw and everyday for a week StubHub was contacted, and every day they said "they'll email you the replacement tickets." Mind you the money was taken from my account when originally purchased, and every day I never got an email. Then they tried to say they transferred them on August 1st, but funny thing is that was not true either.
Twenty four hours before the event I'm still being told they'll email me replacement tickets, mind you after waiting 75 minutes on hold to even talk to someone, and the answer was again they're going to email me. Then I read about Taylor Swift tickets that went "missing" and people missed out on events and lost thousands of dollars. How is this a thing in 2023? I feel robbed. I feel violated. And worst of all StubHub never refunded me my money, fixed the issue, or seemed to even care there was a problem. Honestly, the only way we can stop this from happening is to NEVER use this service again. Please if not for my case, or many others similar to it, for the fact that they've outsourced their customer service to overseas and their StubHub guarantee is legitimate crap. This will happen again and again till we stop using this service. They simply do not care.

Purchased two tickets several months ago to see the Smashing Pumpkins at a town 9 hours south of us. Drove down to see them and as of the day of concert still no tickets available. After waiting over a half an hour on hold, someone at StubHub said that they had sent me an email which probably went into a spam folder containing a link that expired within 24 hours. And it was basically sorry about your luck. They said they would replace the tickets and then sent me an email saying, "Sorry. No replacements available." Do not buy anything through this company. Absolutely no follow-through or Integrity behind their service.

Bought $695 worth of tickets to a concert. Show was canceled due to “Medical issues” of performer. Didn’t get notified by Stubhub, just happened to find out when I tried to book a hotel room at the casino where the show was supposed to take place. Asked Stubhub for a refund when I found out, but was put off for weeks. Was promised a 120% refund due to cancellation. Only got 100% weeks later after many emails. They never responded when I asked where the rest of my refund was. Looks like they’re going under… Sad…

Purchased tickets three months before concert. When I went to print the tickets it brought up an error. Spent hours on the phone with multiple agents who would keep me on hold, tell me I had to call back later and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. Turns out the tickets were through a 3rd party and he/she were not responding. I was assured that Stubhub's policy would provide me with replacement tickets. However, I was then told there were none available even though they were still selling them on their website.
When I finally spoke to a manager they told me that there was no one above them to resolve the issue and that I would need to hang up and call back if I wanted to speak to someone different. Stubhub allowed someone they verified as legitimate to scam me and then, in my opinion, continue to scam me by not providing the tickets that had been purchased for months. I will never use Stub Hub again and I would encourage others to spend their money elsewhere.

One of the worst companies to buy tickets from. They do not stand by their sales...and can cancel your purchase at any moment. Which they did to us. Buy from ticket companies that have a 200% + guarantee on their website so the seller doesn't cancel on you if prices move up.

WARNING! Bait and switch and horrible customer service! Please be very careful if you use this company. We had a very bad experience recently trying to use a parking spot we reserved for a concert. We reserved a spot in a particular parking lot that was .3 miles away from the venue we were going to for the concert. We reserved a spot to be sure we were able to get a close to the venue, since one member of our group is mobility challenged (can walk short distances slowly with a cane). We specifically booked that lot because it was close as identified by the cross streets for the lot that we selected (we knew exactly where the lot was). This lot was confirmed when we booked. We were given a receipt but a ticket would not be issued for another day or so.
Once we received the email ticket a few days before the event, we took a quick read and verified a ticket was indeed there, assuming it was for what we purchased. We printed the ticket shortly before leaving the house for the concert. Upon arrival at the lot we had reserved our spot, they said the ticket was for another lot, which was over a 1 mile away! Obviously, we had no choice but to find that lot since all lots were filling fast and we didn’t want to miss the event. We found the new lot and that lot was closed and full! We spoke to the attendant and told him we had a paid ticket. Thankfully, he felt bad and “created” a space for us in a corner (it wasn’t really a space). Travel to and from the venue was horrible for our friend which set a bad tone for the evening. Keep in mind, we were not late arriving to these lots, we were well within the arrival window.
When we called Stubhub the next day to explain the situation and ask for a refund, we expected an easy conversation and refund since we did not get a ticket for the lot we reserved and purchased. Instead, we spend over 30 minutes on the phone arguing with the person and they finally agreed to a maximum 25% refund (which basically covers the service fee). This is completely unacceptable. The fact that the company committed to a parking lot then supplied a ticket for a lot much further away is unacceptable and perhaps even illegal. We clearly did not get what we paid for. We won’t be using this company again as I do not agree with their potentially unlawful practices and horrible customer service, I suggest you think twice as well!

I listed and sold a Taylor Swift ticket in Stubhub for $1400. After completing the listing process, no listing or sale in progress was showing under My Account, even after refreshing during several minutes. I assumed the listing did not go through and entered the listing a second time. This time, it did show in my account. Later, I got notified that the ticket was sold twice, to two different buyers. I delivered the ticket to the first buyer. For the second buyer, I was charged $1000 by StubHub, supposedly the cost they incurred to provide a replacement ticket.
Several things are wrong here:
1. The listing never showed on my account the first time I entered it. This misled me to think it did not go through.
2. When listing it a second time, the system gave me no warning that I already had an active listing on the same numbered seat.
3. Stubhub charged me $1000 above and beyond the $1400 that the second buyer paid. They sold a much more expensive ticket to that buyer, charged full fees on all transactions, and passed on the full bill to me.
After several calls with support, they apologized for the glitches but did not waive any of the charges. Not even their fees on any of the transactions. They made all their money on all ends, showing zero accountability for the misleading faults in their system. First and last time I use StubHub. Sellers beware and stay away.

We purchased 2 tickets for Dave Matthews concert $181 and got a confirmation email that the tickets will be emailed to us the day of the show. As we have a life and work and kids we did not check our email till we got to the concert and discovered that the tickets were not there. We tried to call multiple times but the wait was over an hour long and as the concert started and we wouldn’t be able to hear anything on the phone.
We stayed in the parking lot and listened to the concert, very sad as we paid for a baby sitter and drove over an hour to get there. When calling the next day and waiting 1 hour 45 min on the phone they looked up the account and said the tickets were sent to a wrong email and there is nothing they can do since they don’t give refunds! How can we get a confirmation email stating we will get our tickets but then the tickets were sent to the wrong email? After looking into it they said the tickets were send to .con instead of .com .... but their system has no way of catching the error so they are not responsible and will not issue a refund. This is horrible costumer service and I would never use their website to purchase any tickets and hopefully whoever is in charge of this terrible business gets a better system in place when a customer does not receive their tickets, otherwise I do not see them staying in business much longer.

This website is a fraud, and they fool people into buying tickets for a better price, but they are actually taking more money from customers. I purchased a ticket for a concert, then I thought I might not make it, so I listed my ticket for sale. I decided to cancel selling and go to the concert. The StubHub agent called to confirm the selling cancellation but didn't mention anything about an additional fee to do so. So I got charged almost the ticket price, and now I called them they say it's their policy. They fool customers and make money by not being clear, and they are very sneaky.
The other experience was I purchased a ticket by mistake because on their website it showed a good price for a good spot. After I submit the payment, it showed a totally different seat, then I called them the same moment, to cancel the purchase, they said, "We can't help you with that and the only solve is to sell your ticket to someone else." I hate this website and will never use it again.

I sold a ticket to an event and apparently the ticket wasn't to the buyer's liking (no idea why). The buyer sent the ticket back to me and Stubhub cancelled my sale saying that it might incur charges. They then took money from my account to cover the refund they had to give the buyer when he didn't accept my tickets. LIKE WHAT. By listing my ticket for sale on Stubhub, I ended up paying for the ticket TWICE. I should have never listed it on their site, never again.

I bought tickets to the New England Revolution game the day before the event. I received a confirmation of my order but never received the tickets. I called 7 hours before the event and was told that "not to worry StubHub has your back. If the seller doesn't release the tickets then we will give you your money or give you better seats" I said OK. Well Gillette Stadium is 3 hours from my house. The game started at 730. It was 3pm and still no tickets. Called Stubhub and was told that I had to wait until 330 PM and if nothing was resolved with the original seller StubHub would step in and make it right. 330pm came so I called them around 340pm. Their representative said we are in the process of getting you new tickets and you will have them within an hour.
So we Head off to the game. So me, my wife and our 3 kids jumped into the car and started to drive. In hour into the drive and we didn't receive anything from StubHub. I pulled over and called and was reassured they are on the way. So I drove the rest of the way to Gillette Stadium. Still nothing and the game was going to be starting in 30 minutes. So I called again and was told that she was working with the department that issues replacements. Prior to me leaving my house and when I initially called at noon there were over 500 tickets available on Stub hubs website. When I got to the stadium there were hardly any. The only solution StubHub gave me was a refund or worse/cheaper tickets than I paid for. I accepted the tickets as my kids wanted to see the game but feel duped by StubHub for not resolving this issue 7 hours earlier.
I could have had the same section that I originally purchased if StubHub actually did their job but they waited until 30 minutes prior to kickoff to get me my tickets. Buyer be warned Stub Hub does not care about what their website policy says. They will make every excuse to not give better or equivalent seats to what you purchase. My last conversation the Stub hub representative said well either take what we gave you or drive 3 hours home and you can have a refund. Thank you Stubhub for making a what was supposed to be a fun family night into a begging you to do the right thing. I will never use your company again.

I will never buy or sell from StubHub ever again. Long story short… I had 2 tickets for Taylor Swift. I was having trouble listing them due to technical difficulties but was finally successful. I received notification that 1 of my tickets was sold which was odd because I listed as a pair. I called Stub Hub and was told that it was my mistake for listing one of the tickets twice and I would have to pay the $500 I was asking for my ticket. I was able to contact my ticket buyer and she gladly said that she would cancel her order and buy another ticket.
After she reached back out to me to say she had spoken with Stub Hub and cancelled her order, I called customer service back. I was berated for doing that and was threatened with having my tickets pulled and being banned from Stub Hub. This was in December and the concert was in July so there was plenty of time and plenty of inventory to purchase another ticket. It seems odd that a company like Stub Hub would not have a system that would recognize a duplicate ticket. Please be aware of this company’s disgraceful customer service and look elsewhere for any of your ticket needs!

My wife wanted to go to Harry Styles' final concert in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and in her excitement, she ordered 2 tickets, not realizing that she did not have time to get her passport updated. So, we put the tickets back up for sale. They sold quickly, but the process for transferring the tickets was never properly explained to us. I called StubHub several times to make sure that the sale was going forward and was assured that all was normal. All of the CSRs were very professional and assuring, but I was never given any kind of "you need to do this" or "follow this process". As time grew shorter, I called and was assured that everything was proceeding normally. I got some confusing emails that the tickets had to have the names of the attendees, so I tried to get names from the purchaser.
I was not told that it was forbidden to contact sellers or buyers. On the day of the concert, while I was at work and my wife was not available, my wife got an email with names for the tickets and then shortly thereafter got another email saying the sale had been canceled. I called when I got home and was told that I had lost my ticket investment and the sale. Then, three days after the concert, my wife was told that we were being charged a penalty for a failed sale. All told, we lost over $1500 to this company. I will never use nor recommend this company for ticket purchases or sales. While the refund was processed quickly, I have called the customer service line over 10 times over 6 weeks to process the compensation payment, only to get run-arounds and outright lies. The latest call was with a manager who guaranteed the payment would be in my bank account within 24 hours, and that was 6 days ago, and we still haven't received it. After seeing all the reviews of StubHub on here, I truly regret not checking before I purchased the tickets from them last week. Ugh! There is a common theme that we the consumers are experiencing which makes this platform feels more like a black market/scam. I purchased 5 tickets two weeks prior to the concert and a week before the concert I woke up one morning to an email notification saying that the seller does not have those tickets I purchased available! What?!!! I called StubHub immediately and escalated to a supervisor. There were no alternate tickets available at the time and the best they could do for me was a full refund and a 30% coupon of what I originally paid for. I explicitly explained that I was not looking for a refund and that I simply wanted these tickets because my friends and I already planned on driving two hours and staying overnight for this concert!
At this point, I took the entire rest of my work day scrambling to find tickets online and just towards the end of the business day, I saw a pair of tickets of the same seats that I originally purchased for except for a higher price point. My fiance bought tickets to the Era's tour as a birthday surprise. He had been hearing horrible things about Ticketmaster (he bought them when the whole tickemaster debacle for the tour was all over the news). Our tickets were in the nosebleeds, but front of stage. He specifically selected them because he wanted me to see the whole stage, choreography, set, etc. He purchased the tickets in Novemeber and still hadn't gotten the tickets a month before our July concert date. Before we booked our flight he called StubHub to make sure the tickets were legit. They reassured him and we booked our flights. The day before the concert rolls around...still no tickets. He calls them, "the reseller has till 11pm to release them".
We wake up the day of the concert, still no tickets. He calls them, "the reseller has an hour to release the tickets". Hour passes... No tickets. He calls them again and they give him the regular spiel, "Your tickets are guaranteed. For whatever reason if you can't get tickets we'll let you pick new comparable seats at no charge." 3 hours before the concert still no tickets. After multiple phone calls they finally let us pick out new seats and our only option was behind the stage, or a refund. Not comparable at all. We couldn't see the stage, the choreography, the massive screen background, etc. In no way what my fiancé wanted for my first Tay Tay experience. We've had a hard year. My Dad died, shortly after our dog died, and a week later someone spiked my drink and it led to a massive ER bill. He got me these tickets to cheer me up and help me through the heartache. His intentions were so sweet and pure, but my Swiftie heart was crushed.
Don't listen to StubHub, if your tickets aren't received in a timely manner, they probably don't have them. They'll tell you everything you want to hear to buy more time so that when the day of the concert arrives, you'll just ask for a refund. Taylor Swift put on an amazing show! But the woulda, coulda, shoulda mentality during her performance broke my fragile heart. I just kept thinking about how I was supposed to be able to see her and the stage, and not just a screen.

StubHub said I would receive the mobile tickets the day of the event and I could just forward them to the mobile phone of the attendees.
First, I'm not comfortable with my guests driving 160 miles to the game only to have a snafu with the tickets. I wanted a refund. They said all sales are final and I would have to relist the tickets for sale. Goodness gracious. I could barely buy the tickets online. Now to have to resell them?? I will never use them again. AND I'm going to share my experience on every website and social media outlet I can. Customer service is horrible. 3 days later I ask for a refund and they say no. I should have looked at this company's reviews before using them. I would have saved $627.00.

Stub Hub is a complete group of scam artist. It is sad we have to deal with companies like this every time we want to go to an event, I don't understand how this company is a legal company. I purchased a VIP parking ticket months ago for a concert at Jones Beach tonight. I complained multiple times for about three weeks that I didn't receive my ticket. This company allows scammers to sell tickets to their customers and get away with not transferring them to you. I got the run around every time I tried calling and didn't get any responses to the emails I wrote. I had rep on the phone yesterday morning saying, "Don't worry you will have a ticket by the end of the day."
I called the end of the day and the rep on the phone said, "Dont worry you will have a ticket in 10 minutes." Then this morning I received an email with a general message that they are sorry they are still trying to reach the scammer who obviously is not responding. Now about 5 hrs before my concert I talk to yet another rep on the phone who tells me they can't issue me a parking pass when there are plenty still for sale on their website and they are giving me a refund. I bought a parking pass on Live Nation and got it right away. I think so far they are the only company without scammers! Use them not Stub Hub or Seat Geek. Had a simpler scammer issue with them too!!!

I listed tickets to sell for a NBA Basketball event I no longer wished to attend. Just after I sold these tickets I realized that I had accidentally listed them on the wrong event listing. I had meant to list for NBA Summer League Las Vegas - Day 2 but actually listed them for NBA Summer League Salt Lake City - Day 2. A microscopic difference that's easy to mistake.
Upon realizing my mistake I did the right thing that I caring human being would do, I instantly contacted StubHub to notify and assist them in this mistake. This helped them to quickly assist the buyer within just 1 hour of the sale, resulting in a cancellation of the ticket order the next day. You'd assume there would be no issues to worry about now that I had quickly contacted them to handle the situation, right?
Wrong. They sent me an email that I had been *charged* for the full price of the tickets I *sold*. They say that this is their policy to "remedy" the buyer. Why can't they just refund the buyer like a normal company would do? Instead they have to steal extra money from me to do what? If you want to open yourself up to being stolen and thieved from then go ahead and use StubHub. Their "policy" justifies poor and unfair treatment to their users.

Stubhub is a horrible third party ticket sales company. I bought tickets to a baseball game in San Diego for the 4th of July, 2023. We got inside the game only to find out our seats were double booked. The seats were taken by two people that had tickets issued by Ticketmaster which is considered the only viable ticket sales company for that ballpark. StubHub double booked our seats, and when I complained and asked for a refund they refused saying it is not in their policy to refund money for seats that couldn't be used, given we were able to enter the event. I will never ever use stubhub again and I highly recommend others to stay away. They are horrible!

I never received any money from the Stubhub nor the buyer of the ticket. I got charged for a ticket I didn't sell. On the seller's policy it says that you are responsible to provide a ticket when you go through a sale and that you may be charged up to 100% if you cannot provide the ticket. I thought that if you receive the money for the ticket and you cannot ship it correctly THEN you are responsible for giving back 100% of the ticket but no. I never received any money and got charged for a ticket I did not sell. I tried contesting it with my credit card and since I accepted the (seller's policy which was not well explained), I couldn't get my money back. This is fraud. I filled out forms, I sent screenshots, and jumped thru every hoop they asked. I had to call the day of the event, because they never got back to me, to which I was told my tickets would not be available because the seller would not be transferring them. I’m posting about the facts of my experience here as a warning to others, since I have tried to do the same on the StubHub community forum and the company removes my posts every time (why would they do that, I wonder?). I purchased front row tickets to Dead & Company at Saratoga Springs on June 18, 2023 about 9 months prior for $3,000 total (2 tickets, plus StubHub’s massive “service fees”). I also booked a hotel in Saratoga for the event since the venue is about a 4 hour drive from my home.
On June 17 (24 hours before the show) when the tickets were scheduled to be transferred, they did not arrive. I spent probably 3 hours attempting to speak to customer service, being put on hold and getting dropped. I was told by customer service that they had spoken to the seller / owner of the tickets and that he would “resend” them (although I had not received an email in the first place). This was not true, and over the next day and multiple calls to customer service, StubHub finally admitted 5 hours before showtime that they did not have PIT tickets to give me (which I paid for 9 months prior). They offered me $30 lawn tickets as a replacement! I thought they were joking. Meanwhile, they listed many orchestra level tickets on their site that they would not offer as compensation. This would seem to contradict their claim that they “go above and beyond” to replace tickets.
Basically, StubHub will take your money for tickets and give themselves a one-way option to sell them at a higher price later if they can, and will only tell you a few hours before your event that you don’t have the tickets you thought you had paid for, had planned around and were waiting for. Sure, they might give you a refund weeks later, but meanwhile you are missing the event you spent a lot of money to attend. You have no recourse. And their incentive is to do this over and over because they can’t lose. I hope this saves others the same agony, frustration and disappointment we experienced. These are not honest people. They exist to rip off fans of music. Stay far away. These are all true facts. My order number is **.

Since all tickets issued by the UVA Athletic Department were sold out, I searched for other ticket purchase options. I identified two tickets on StubHub that were listed as General Admission Bleachers. However, when I finally received the link to the e-tickets, there were two different locations noted on the Ticket stubs; One was Level L while the other was SRO (i.e., standing room only). That was not at all what I thought I paid for, nor wanted, e.g., two actual seats, not a "virtual seat" to stand in a bull-pen.
Further, the cost I paid was over 3x face value of the original ticket + service fee (almost as much as the original ticket). StubHub's response was not helpful (it took two emails for them to assess the issue and provide a negative reply) and basically implied there are different labels for General Admission tickets including SRO. In my experience with over 30 years of buying baseball tickets to many games, it was always clear if your ticket did not include a seat. So if you buy from them just beware that they accept no responsibility for how the tickets are advertised, described or priced. I might add that their fees are exorbitant-almost 40% of the ticket price-and it remains unclear to me exactly what service they provide for this charge.

The day of, no tickets had been emailed to them. Since they are not calling internationally, I made the call to Stubhub. Stubhub gave me a human rep after more than a 45 minute wait on hold. After another 30+ minutes, Stubhub told us that they would not honor the passport numbers and that we needed to purchase 2 "membership codes" in order for the tickets to be released to our student's email. My guess is that these "membership codes are a way for the ticket seller to scam more money because they would have to be paid for on a separate web site that wants local Italian address and so on.
My student went directly to the AC Milan stadium and was told that the entire ticket purchase was a scam and that it was sold out by the time these tickets were offered. I am now on the phone with Stubhub again, and they are giving me the run-around with having the tickets canceled and the money refunded. Traveled 3 hrs for nothing. They are terrible. No supervisor would even get on the phone. What's the point in purchasing tickets months in advance and then not get to see event- mind you after driving 3 hrs. They are TERRIBLE. They should also try hiring employees within the U.S. Terrible customer service all around from reps to supervisors that don't get on the phone.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Stubhub for years– but after the incident, I unfortunately will never use Stubhub ever again. They falsely advertised an event for the artist Eden used the image of the artist in the ad. In fact, the event was simply called Eden, but Eden was was not performing and had no affiliation with the event, despite the ad using the artist’s image. (Imagine buying a ticket called “Taylor Swift” next to an image of Taylor Swift, but in fact being ripped off and the event has nothing to do with her).
My friend called customer service and was given a refund under the same premises. After calling six times and speaking with six people, I was ultimately denied a refund. This goes against their own FanProtect policy, which guarantees Valid Tickets or money back. This goes against consistency and just treatment of customers. I am sad to leave Stubhub’s customer base. But after this unjust and rude treatment, I simply cannot trust their service going forward.

I purchased tickets for an upcoming concert but due to a conflict I am unable to attend the show. I wanted to see how I could list my tickets so I can offer them to others that can attend. To do so, I contacted customer service and they walked me through how to list my tickets to resell. I attached the proof of purchase and I was good to go. I later received an email saying my listing has been denied. They had a list of reasons to why my listing was denied, however, none of them applied to me since I completed what was needed correctly. This would happen several more times, being denied. I even received an email telling me once again how to list my tickets.
Now, when you try to attach the pdf file it requires for proof of purchase, it won't let you. StubHub can clearly see that I purchased the tickets directly through their company. It shouldn't be this hard to relist the tickets but yet they are making it extremely difficult to do so. I would never use this company again, ever. All they did was rob me of my money. Every time you call to find out the status they have to escalate the order only to be denied to relist the tickets. Please do yourself a favor, do not purchase anything through this company. When it did not work, I spent a month sending emails and making multiple phone calls to try to resolve and after several hours of wasted time was finally able to get resolved. While Stubhub is very stringent and inflexible about rules that govern both buyers and sellers, the organization appears to care less about how it supports either party as long as Stubhub is collecting their guaranteed money. Today is one week after the concert took place, and the tickets are still on the way back to me. He tried to use fan protection, and I got a chargeback for the price of the tickets. Two of the tickets sold immediately, but StubHub would not pay me until after the event- two months away. An hour before the event, apparently, the other two tickets sold but I was not notified- I later received notice that the tickets had been sold and that I hadn't fulfilled my end of the ticket sale (but I never knew they were sold).
Stubhub then decided not to pay out the sale for the first tickets because of the issue they claimed with the second sale. They kept my money and the money from the second sale for the first sale. Then they kept my money for the second sale also! I do not understand why I was not paid for the first sale, and why they do not have a better system in place to notify people of a last minute sale- they seem to never want to pay out sales and do everything they can to deter you from asking about it- hang up on me, put me on hold.... It’s been weeks and I haven’t received them. I’m leaving soon out of the country for a concert. I read I might not ever get these tickets, it’s happened numerous times. StubHub lied to me by saying 48 hours because actually, you can get them up to the day of the concert. That means I can fly all the way to Portugal and if I don’t get my tickets, I don’t see the concert. If the seller is selling the tickets online, why can’t I have the tickets within 48 hours? StubHub is a scam. They will not stand behind the buyer. Actually they won’t stand behind the seller either. They don’t care as long as they make money. I listed tickets for sale on StubHub, but ended up selling them outside of the site. After selling them, I tried to take them down from the site only to notice they had just sold on StubHub too. StubHub had every opportunity to connect the buyer of my tickets with other sellers offering tickets at less than or equal to the price the buyer paid, but they failed to do so and instead tried charging me the full price of the tickets. Despite showing them where they failed to meet their own terms, and submitting a BBB complaint, they stood by the unilateral decision to charge me for the tickets. A full accounting of my experience is below. I highly recommend AGAINST using StubHub to sell tickets.
3/25: I listed tickets for sale on StubHub. 4/5 at 5:30pm: I sold my tickets to a friend (outside of StubHub). 4/5 at 5:39pm: I logged on to StubHub to cancel sale of the tickets, only to realize that I received an email from StubHub that someone had just purchased the 2 tickets (which I no longer had). 4/5 at 5:42pm: I read the email from StubHub, immediately clicked on the the "Make Changes" link in the email, and followed the prompts to notify StubHub that I no longer had the tickets on hand. In accordance with StubHub's seller policies, Section 3.3. Reporting an issue and offering replacement tickets; Consequences for Dropped Sales and Invalid Tickets, it states: "If you dropped a sale (as defined above)...we may charge you for the cost of the refund...(c) If replacement Tickets cannot be found..."
4/5 at 8:50pm: With the above in mind, I took screenshots to document that the exact replacement tickets I had been selling were available on the StubHub website, therefore the replacement tickets could clearly be found and I should not be charged for the cost of the refund. 4/5 at 8:50pm: I emailed StubHub support requesting confirmation that StubHub was able to assign replacement tickets (which were clearly available on the StubHub website). I received an email back from StubHub confirming receipt of my e-mail.
4/7 at 10:25pm: I received the following response from StubHub: "When you confirm a sale, you commit to sending the tickets to your buyer so that they have them in time for the event. In the email notifying you of the sale, we also notified you of the date by which the tickets must be sent. If you are unable to send them out immediately (e.g. you're on holiday), it is fine to send them at a later time as long as they are sent as soon as possible. Failure to ship by the deadline given may result in us having to cancel your sale and replace the tickets for the buyer. In this case, you will not be paid for the sale and you may be charged for the cost of replacing the tickets for the buyer."
4/7 at 10:28pm: I responded with the following: "I don't think you understood my question. I sold the tickets elsewhere, I don't have them anymore. I notified StubHub right when the tickets were sold, but I don't have them anymore, and I saw something that said they were going to try and locate another set of tickets for the buyer. I just want to confirm that happened so I don't get charged anything. Can you please confirm?"
4/9 at 4pm: I received a call from StubHub (representative: Edward) where I notified the representative of the previous events noted above, and that I expected not to be charged due to availability of the tickets. I received the following email following up from this conversation: "We do acknowledge your request that you wanted to cancel the sale. We are sorry to hear that you are unable to fulfil your order, and we will start trying to find replacement tickets for the buyer...Since we're still looking for replacement tickets for your buyer, we aren't able to confirm how much you'll be charged. When we find tickets, you'll get an email with this amount once the sale is replaced." This was very disturbing to me as I had notified StubHub back on 4/5 that I didn't have the tickets, and that replacement tickets were available on their own site, but it seemed that StubHub made no attempt to connect the buyer with those replacement tickets at that time.
4/9 at 4:20pm: I responded with the following: "Per our conversation, I notified StubHub the day the tickets were sold that I had just sold them to another party. I understand the policies however, at the time I notified StubHub, the exact tickets I was selling were available for sale on your website at prices at or less than the amount I was selling them for. Therefore, I don't agree that it's my responsibility to pay if StubHub didn't connect the buyer with those other sellers at that time." 4/11: I received an email from StubHub: "Because you didn't fulfill your sale correctly (for example: missed in hand date, reported an issue, buyer refused a change you requested), this sale was canceled." and "Status: Charge applied...Reason: Order Not Fulfilled".
4/11: I spoke with StubHub representative "Michael", recounting all of the above and expressing my disagreement with any charges. After a long conversation, he stated that he was only authorized to offer a 50% refund. I told him I would take this refund, but with the clear understanding that this case remains open and that based on the above, I am due a 100% refund. 4/17: I followed up with StubHub, and was told that the matter was "resolved" due to the 50% credit. Despite a long back and forth conversation, StubHub would not waiver from their stance that the matter was fully resolved.
4/17: I submitted a complaint on the Better Business Bureau website with screen shots showing proof of availability of replacement tickets below the price in which the buyer paid. I received responses from StubHub over the next few days, and while they pointed to their Seller policies, none of their responses directly addressed their non-compliance with their own Seller Policies in Section 3.3. "If you dropped a sale (as defined above)...we may charge you for the cost of the refund...(c) If replacement Tickets cannot be found..." BBB closed the complaint after a few exchanges. I've emailed BBB asking them to reopen this claim to no avail.
It's concerning to say the least that StubHub collects money from the ticket buyer, then double-charges the seller for the same price for the tickets. I look forward to the future class-action suit where StubHub will be held responsible for this gross negligence against Sellers.

Since June of 2022, listing for sale MLB tickets has been an absolute train wreck. Listings are removed without notice and transactions get cancelled due to Stubhub’s failure to repair their barcode integration with the MLB. Today was the last straw. On 4/11/23 I sold 4 premium tickets to the Cubs/dodger game on Stubhub. Stubhub does not allow the upload of barcodes upon listing so when they sell, you are required to upload the barcodes - which I did within a couple of hours.
5 days later, on GAME DAY, I received an email from Stubhub notifying me that my transaction had been cancelled because I did not fulfill my seller's obligation to upload the barcodes - but I did! I was also able to confirm that my sale had been moved from the “Open” category to the “Completed” category. Again, I did everything right. Nonetheless, Stubhub refused to honor the sale and I was forced to delist them on Seatgeek where they were distressed sold at approximately 1,000 less than the Stubhub transaction. I proceeded to delist the rest of the season off of the Stubhub platform and I now feel liberated but remain very angry about the last 9 months that I suffered with this horrible platform.

Had a couple tickets up on StubHub for a couple weeks. Hopped on a 3 hour flight without service and in that time period Stubhub double charged me the seller for ticket sale that occurred over this 3 hour period. Ticket was sold and then canceled in this 3 hour period. StubHub went on to collect both the buyer’s payment AND my charge for the ticket price. I went on to lose both my original ticket value AND the charge to my account. When talking to customer service and escalating to Michael the "Selling Supervisor" they said there was nothing they could do and that I would be on the hook for the 100% seller fee for price of ticket.
Not sure how this malicious tactic is seen as legal. With this same logic I could be charged a fee for sleeping for more than 3 hours. The total price I had to pay was $400 for ticket and the fee. I didn't go to the show and instead lost more money than the ticket was ever worth thanks to StubHub. In this transaction StubHub made 15% off my ticket, then 15% off the other seller for replacement, then 100% off my for seller penalty, resulting in stubhub making 130% markup on a ticket, literally insane. I was unable to get tickets through Ticketmaster as it had sold out. I knew that Stubhub is a resale company, and that I could get tickets at an inflated price. My daughter's favorite artist was coming and specifically asked me to take her. I purchased 3 pit tickets totaling 530 dollars. More than double the face value. Price wasn't my concern as long as I got them for her. Upon reading these reviews I became stressed out and felt like I may have made bad decision. Tickets rehit the Ticketmaster resale market and it made me more uncomfortable. Nosebleeds were even more than what paid for pit tickets. The pit tickets jumped to 400 each. I was then sure I was going to get hosed. So I almost bought horrendously inflated nosebleeds backups through ticketmaster. I'm glad I didn't. I received all 3 of my tickets 2 days after payment at the agreed price. It would have cost me 1300 for the same ones had I waited any longer.
I get people have gotten bad experiences but when you compare the numbers of fulfilled orders to bad ones, I'm sure it works out to a pretty favorable number. I felt the need to say this because I almost spent needless amounts of heavy money because of the anxiety these reviews provided. My friends have had no issues using this as well. I know to check venue ticketing at first and if it's sold out I'll go resale market. Not a very cool market price wise but sometimes it's worth the artist and experience.

That happened to me, and although I understand StubHub isn't responsible for a flaky seller, they did not notify me about the tickets — no call, no email, no account notification.
I called an hour before the concert to learn that my tickets were unavailable. They said they would provide a refund and small account credit. Guess what happened next — concert started and seller finally emails the tickets. Stubhub NEVER processed a refund and NEVER provided an account credit. I was unable to attend a Broadway show, so instead of just losing my money, I decided to list tickets on this website but I did not do proper research of company beforehand. Long story short, my tickets were listed at face value since I was not intending to make any money from them. Tickers were sold and I delivered them as stated in sale offer. Buyer was in possession of tickets for a week before the show.
The day before the show Stubhub unilaterally dropped the sale as the buyer called them to cancel it. Stubhub has this dropped sale policy that you should be aware of, they really can do whatever they please for any reason against sellers. Not only did I lose the opportunity to get my tickets sold elsewhere but Stubhub charged my credit card the full price of my tickets without authorization and after I had closed my account with them. So I was charged for my own tickets!! What sort of business is allowed to do this?! This is surely a SCAM company and it should be investigated by the BBB. Needless to say that I am in the process of fighting this charge with my cc company. STUBHUB NEVER AGAIN!

Purchased 5 spring training baseball tickets on Jan 24 for a game on March 16. These were good seats, 11 rows off the infield. Tickets were to be delivered in early March to me (buyer). It was getting uncomfortably close to the date of the event and I notified StubHub that I'd like some reassurances that my tickets were going to be delivered. As I feared they responded that the tickets did not exist and offered me replacement tickets in the second deck and down by the foul pole. The replacement tickets, StubHub said, were the same costs as the tickets 11 rows off the field. After I regrettably agreed I went on the StubHub website and saw 5 tickets 3 rows behind my seats that I originally ordered. They were asking $81/seat vs the $47/seat I paid back in January. This price does not include all the add on costs.
I called StubHub and asked if they would give me those seats as a replacement for the original seat order that StubHub could not fill. Got the runaround basically saying that computers picked the replacement tickets and they could not manually override the computer. So I got screwed twice. First on not being able to fill my original order and waiting 6 weeks to tell me and secondly I got screwed on the replacement tickets. Stub Hub has gone from what I used to consider a reputable company to a company I would not ever do business with again. StubHub is not customer friendly and provides horrible customer service. They had a chance to right a wrong and would not do it. My advise is to avoid StubHub entirely. There are several better options out there for purchasing tickets to events. I did not have the option of rating StubHub below one star.

I had a terrible experience with StubHub, and I would not recommend their service to anyone. I purchased Taylor Swift tickets for a significant amount of money, but the company cancelled them and offered me replacement tickets from a less expensive section. What's worse is that when I checked their website, I found that there were still floor seats available for purchase, which leads me to believe that they cancelled my tickets without a valid reason. The compensation they offered me was only a $300 voucher, which is a completely inadequate amount compared to what I spent on the original tickets.
In addition, the customer service I received was incredibly unhelpful. When I contacted them to try and find a solution to the problem, they offered no other options other than what was already presented. This showed a complete lack of concern for my satisfaction as a customer, and it added to my overall disappointment with their service. In my opinion, a company's customer service is a reflection of their overall commitment to their customers. In this case, StubHub's customer service failed to meet even the basic standards of professionalism and empathy. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against using StubHub for any future ticket purchases.

I have used StubHub in the past to buy and sell tickets and had been unaware until now of how they choose to "market" tickets. I listed two VIP tickets to a concert several weeks ago and was confused as to why I was not able to find my own tickets listed on the website. I had asked family and friends and they were not able to find them either. I proceeded to call the customer service number and the person I spoke to told me they were hidden under a default filter "recommended tickets". This filter is automatically on whenever anyone tries to search for tickets to buy. If a consumer is not aware of this filter and the fact that they need to manually turn it off, they will not see my tickets as an option to buy,
In addition, it states that if there are tickets that are the same price section/level and so on, only the cheapest price will show but that is not true either since mine have been the cheapest and were still hidden. Finally, when a consumer searches for the same tickets for the same event on the app version versus the desktop website, they are given different prices for the same tickets and the seller is not made aware (neither is the buyer).
This company is creating a situation where both buyers and sellers are not given full transparency into the inner workings of how they tickets are shown once they list them as well as why - even when they fit within the category of "recommended" per the company's own definition, the tickets are still being hidden from buyers under the default filter. This creates a poor experience for both buyers and sellers. I have contacted the company several times and am given the run around with no answers provided as to why my listing is hidden yet others in the same section and VIP level that are more expensive than mine are not hidden under this filter.

I asked if I could be refund just the ticket purchase price since the seller has not received any payment and I haven't received anything but an email stating it may take up to the day prior to the event. After a few hours, Stubhub finally refunded the tickets and offered a minimal voucher as compensation (less than 5% of the purchase price). Further, the voucher never came through!
Now I am left a dissatisfied customer without tickets and trying to buy last minute tickets that are even MORE expensive than what I had paid for. The amount I originally paid plus the voucher (if it comes through) won't come even close to meeting the cost of the cheapest tickets. While the customer service representative was apologetic, they couldn't come to a solution to find me a replacement ticket, or a voucher that would cover one of the 100s of pairs of seats that were still floating around. I called the theatre who could only provide me with the name of the person I spoke to that night at the ticket office. The theatre employee me told me that from their experience that I would continue to get the run around from StubHub, that they never call the theatre to check this out and their recommendation was to dispute the charge with my bank. Please do not offer for me to contact your customer service because I have already gone that route with no success.

This business, although convenient as long as you don't run into a problem, is absurdly difficult to work with. Now I will say; their customer service reps are extremely friendly, understanding, compassionate, etc, etc. Everything you could want out of a customer service rep. However, where they drop the ball is the follow through. And let's face it, that's the most important part. Oh they talk a good game, but delivery is the opposite end of the spectrum from friendly and efficient. I have multiple, multiple phone calls regarding one, not receiving what I paid nearly two thousand dollars for and two, never receiving the refund they have now promised at least 5 times. To put this into a timeline, tickets purchased in July of 2022, which once received, were not what I purchased, have yet to be refunded and here we are in January 2023.
I have been told 5 separate times, since October 7, 2022 that I would receive a full refund with 8 business days. But again, here it is January 9, 2023 and still no refund. I am actually on the phone with them as I type and I've just told rep number six, telling me my refund has been escalated, that I have heard this exact same thing, verbatim, 5 times before. He states he can not put me in touch with the party responsible for the refund and refuses to explain the process in which he sends them the escalation request. This department has no phone nor email? I find that extremely hard to believe. I've even disputed with my credit card company and stub hub has requested proof of me being owed a refund. What?!?! Check your multitude of notes! You state every phone call is recorded for quality. Check your recording. Check the emails. At this point, I guess to be continued is all I can say.

We purchased tickets on December 29, 2022 for the Broadway show “Six”. The tickets were never delivered by the seller via email nor phone. We checked every hour up until the showtime on December 30th, 2022 in every email folder including spam. There was nobody to get a hold of at StubHub (great strategy on their part). What stood out the most isn’t the fact that we were defrauded out for $523.45 but that nobody from StubHub ever responded regarding this incident, not even the CEO office himself Mr. Baker. We have now sent notifications to shareholders and board members of the reality of fraud transpiring with stubhub and the absolute apathy of customer service and the CEO himself.
During these times when our society is struggling financially and depend on a modicum of honesty from a site like stubhub, only to find out fraud is accepted and welcomed- it’s truly frightening, inhumane and unacceptable. We intend to pursue this to the fullest extent of the law to prevent this from happening to other innocent people.

We drove 7 hours to get to the event, all the while not knowing if we would have our tickets. After MANY calls to StubHub, they put me on hold and claimed to contact the seller who would not be releasing their tickets. Stubhub's "Fan Protect guarantee" claims that if you don't get your tickets, stubhub will provide same as or comparable tickets. To them, comparable means not even close! We were on the 50 yard line and offered 10 yard line. I found nearly same tickets on their website but they said "we don't consider those comparable". We ended up paying TWICE the price. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews here and now I am scammed out of $800. StubHub made a mistake and I pay for it!. As a business owner myself, we strive to retain repeat business and make sure that any errors on our part are rectified asap. StubHub clearly does not! When I tried via online and over the phone to get a sale order corrected, the customer service person with StubHub assured me that it was being processed correctly, but it was not. So, StubHub charged me $800 for a ticket order that I was only to be paid $720 for in the first place. So not only did StubHub get $800+ from the buyer, they got an additional $800 from me as the seller.
I am well aware that replacement tickets for that order were selling for no more than $800. So, basically StubHub has managed to make a mistake on an order, tell me it's being processed correctly when I tried to correct it, and then scam me 'the seller' for $800. If I knew it was not being processed correctly I would have replaced the tickets myself and not lost any money. This is very poor business practice from any business. Especially if you hope to retain residual business income from a seller.
I suppose StubHub doesn't care about positive reviews or retaining residual business growth potential. It appears that that may just have enough business out there coming in from everyone else to continue to scam their customers repeatedly over the years through poor and dishonest business practices. Shame on StubHub for conducting their business this way. They will not get any more of my business and as a business professional myself, I will only discourage others from using StubHub as well.

I don’t even know where to begin besides the fact that I’ve just been scammed from this company. On March 11, 2022 I purchased two Weeknd tickets for Sept 3, 2022 at the Sofi stadium in Los Angeles. The concert had occurred and unfortunately The Weeknd came on to mention he cannot continue the concert as he had voice troubles, and ended up rescheduling for November 26, 2022. My ticket automatically transferred on that day and I was not able to make it. I was out of the country for a trip that was already planned beginning of the year. I contacted Stubhub at least 6-7 times. I was more than communicative. I asked them to help me transfer my tickets since I want to sell them. Everyone gave me some excuse from left to right on how to transfer from Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster and stubhub disagree with one another so I was not able to transfer. It was grayed out.
Next, a few weeks go by and they charged me $168.30 for not selling my ticket. ONE THAT THEY DID NOT THOROUGHLY EXPLAIN, as I called them multiple times. I NEVER authorized my card to be charged without my permission. That is SCAMMING. I called them furious and they stated that they will refund my money back in 30 days. Very difficult to believe. I never saw a refund nor a refund receipt. Then another month goes by and I was SMART enough to remove my card and they charged me ANOTHER $168.30 for my second ticket that I never even tried to sell. It was absolutely terrifying.
PLEASE NEVER PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS HERE. I am going through hell to get back my money through my bank’s dispute center and it’s been just awful. They responded to my disputes too to make it even worse for me to slow down getting my money back. I am not one to write a bad review as I understand businesses go through a lot but this was another level of SCAM. Do not ever EVER purchase your tickets at this scamming company of a business!

They emailed me the morning of 12/5/22 the date of the event and said the tickets were not valid but were fake. They did not have or offer any replacement tickets. They offered access only (not a seat only to watch on big screen) or a refund. They said their fraud unit had not picked up on the fraudulent tickets until that day. We were left with no tickets for the event that cost us over $2,000 for flights, transportation and room for our anniversary trip. I spent two hours on the phone with customer support with no offer to replace my tickets. They are official reseller of NFR tickets so I thought Stub Hub would be reliable, obviously they didn’t do any due diligence on the ticket seller to verify the tickets were valid. Spent 2 hrs on the phone with customer service. Then was sent an email saying that they weren’t able to get those tickets so I picked another set. These tickets were also said to be transferred to me 2 hours later. I also did not get these tickets. I was told two hours before the show that they could not get those either. Spoke to the only manager who would call me back. His name was Drew. Spoke with Drew for over two hours. He was unable to give me credit so I could purchase tickets for 12/10/22 show but told me supposedly reputable suppliers for tickets from your company. I spent another $1600 on these tickets while Drew stayed on the phone. He told me these tickets were good and print them out. I printed these tickets and also had them on your app on my phone.
I showed up to the venue with my fiancé for our anniversary. Paid for parking and dinner. Went to enter the avenue and was told the tickets were no good. Contacted customer service again and was put on multiple holds for over an hour. Then was told that they could not get me into the show, while they were still selling tickets on the app for almost half of what I paid. I was hung up on and told nothing else could be done. I am an avid concert goer and have never had a company treat me like this. They just didn’t care and kept putting me on hold and then hanging up. I stood there dressed to the nines with my fiancé looking like a complete fool.
StubHub did nothing but lie, take my money (which I can’t get back for 10 days) over $3000 dollars that I could have used to purchase tickets from someone else. Then they continued to sell tickets online to other clients. Spent over 7 hours in a two day period talking to your customer service. Mostly refused me to talk to a manager and when a manager would finally get in touch with me, they would put me on long holds then mysteriously hung up without a call back so I had to start from scratch with a new agent.
All I asked was that I could have tickets that I paid for multiple times to take my fiancé to see Adele. Instead I was called a liar, put on hold for hours and left standing at the entrance to the show looking like an idiot with my fiancé crying. This is how stubhub treats its customers? Customer service states that their Seller policy says this can and will happen. There is no transparency - if they claim they sourced passes through other means, how much did it cost them? Did they not simply refund the Buyer? I'll never know, but Stubhub will make sure to take money from you in any event simply for the 'inconvenience'. StubHub charged us $608 because we would not turn over the tickets, which I never listed on their web site. Of course they sited they multiply page agreement- what no one without a law degree could truly understand- saying I signed and approved to have the tickets reposted when I first posted them for the old date. Be very very careful when dealing with this company. Their are a lot of hidden rules and regulations that they will enforce and charge you hundreds of dollars- read others people's reviews. I left the family reunion early to go home and get on my laptop to transfer the tickets. I got them transferred with 4 minutes to spare.
Later that night I received an email stating I didn't transfer the tickets in time so they took over my sale and sold the customer a different set of tickets and that I would be charged a fee for not following policy. I cancelled the transfer and reached out to stubhub and got no response. Today they took the full price of the tickets out of my account. I never got my tickets sold so I basically paid for the same set of tickets twice. Stubhub only charges a percentage for selling your tickets so why they think they are entitled to the full price of my tickets they never sold is beyond me. I finally got in contact with them. StubHub acts as a middle man brokering the ticket sale between two people and I am shocked that with the risk of tickets not being delivered that they would adopt policies that allow their customers to come under the gun in the eleventh hour before their event. Customer service said seller didn't release tickets (this is 2 days BEFORE THE EVENT I AM TRAVELING TO in CHICAGO) and so they had me choose other tickets, which are WORSE SEATS and they DO NOTHING TO rectify this - also the new tickets are from TICKETMASTER so why the hell should you buy through this middleman and go through the unneccesary frustration and hour I just spent on the phone trying to get the tickets I paid for originally? This is a joke of a company.

I bought [what I thought] was GA tickets to a concert -- because even though they said fast lane pass under SECTION [not in the title] it said GA ticket in the description. Once the original seller sent them over via email [shows live nation ticket] THAT is where it stated it was not an actual ticket. Just a fast lane pass to get through lines. I was unaware of this until AFTER I spent $324!!!! Called customer service and the first time I spoke to some, she was RUDE, inconsiderate, and didn't care AT ALL! I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor and she said over and over again "I do not see that as an option here." I told her at that point to get up from her desk and go find a supervisor. She refused!! All she said was I could relist it and hope someone buys them.
She tried walking me through how to relist it [which I already knew] and it didn't give me the option to list it as a Fast Lane Pass - only a GA ticket [which is the whole issue to begin with!]. It's misleading and causing people to spend $300+ on what they think are actual tickets until after they buy them!!! I asked what will happen if I can somehow PROPERLY relist them, and they aren't purchased before the concert? Her response was [in nicer terms] I'm S.O.L. -- all because the company she works for [that is worth $4+ BILLION] allowed them to be listed as the wrong thing! ---- With that being said, I am currently waiting on a call back from a supervisor now [after speaking with someone else who was truly trying to help me figure it out, so we'll see if they can fix this... which isn't looking good.
Will NEVER use them to buy or sale again! Absolutely ridiculous! Especially when they have the "Fan Protect" for if your tickets don't work for whatever reason, but I was told by the first girl I spoke with that even though StubHub dropped the ball and allowed them to be listed as the wrong thing, that doesn't fall under the FanProtect section. WHAT. A. RIP OFF!!!! I'm left here with passes to skip long lines [which IDC about] to a concert I don't even have proper tickets for now!!!

Sold tickets on October 1. Still not paid one month later. Called four times told Problem was sent up to sales. Asked to speak to supervisor who said would call me in one hour. Never received a call. Nobody there cares that they are holding onto my money despite everything done properly on my end. Would stay away from this service. Use another site for sales!

StubHub updated their website over the summer and it has been a poor experience ever since. Yesterday was the final straw for me. When you go to purchase a ticket it does not show the seat #. Just row and section. So terrible, I cannot even know the seats I am buying! The app froze up on me and it looked like the purchase did not go through. I waited and did it less than two minutes later. It wound up giving me two sets of tickets in the same row. I did not know right away because again, no seat numbers. I called within minutes of it happening and called again in the morning. I was told StubHub does not view those as a duplicate because I did them 2 minutes apart.... I have tried to get them to see it was an accident but I am getting nowhere. Never again. I have bought and sold from StubHub for years. Never again.

I ordered tickets to a show and when I ordered the tickets I was told I would have them the next day. After a week I still had not received an email with tickets so I called them and was told the seller did not have the tickets and they would find me new ones and I would get a email within 48 hours with some tickets to pick from. After another week I still had no email and called to cancel my order since I had not got what I signed up for. They told me I would get tickets 2 days before the event. I told them I didn't want to wait until 2 days before to maybe get tickets and that's not what I payed for. They keep telling me they can't refund my money. I would not use this service again and their customer support is really difficult to deal with. The customer service rep eventually just hung up on me because apparently they have no ability to cancel an order.

What a horrible site- I listed my tickets a few days before my show- Got the message they were under review but would be posted shortly, went back a few days later and there was no listing nor did I get any notifications, silly me, I tried again, same message, a few MINUTES later I received an email saying they didn't sell, I called customer service and they were nice but unable to resolve quickly, now I'm stuck on day of show with 2 tickets.

Was sent an email on Friday confirming my tickets; logged in to get ticket Sunday day of concert; clicked get ticket - nothing; researched and spent 2 hours watching video searching everywhere for my tickets; directions gave did not say to call nor provided a # without searching diligently. I emailed StubHub before concert & said I needed help; I then went to the ticket booth late to concert & showed them my receipt; they said my only option was to buy another ticket & call StubHub to get reimbursed; we called StubHub with no reply; I bought new tickets.
Called Stubhub today; they act like they cared & said they would call me back in 24 to 48 hours but instead about an hour later sent an email saying they would not refund me basically avoiding speaking to me. Their site says Every order is 100% guaranteed but this is a lie. They do not guarantee your ticket & I traveled 2.5 hours to see a concert & was left paying more money for bad seats. STUBHUB has 3000+ bad complaints in the last 3 years for the BBB & 1200+ this year with the same experience as mine. Buyers beware!

Highly recommend purchasing or selling your tickets elsewhere. Customer service does not exist in the traditional sense. First person could not communicate well or offer any assistance. My call was disconnected when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I called once again to speak to a supervisor and was told my call would be returned in 24 hours. My original issue was a fraudulent review process that disabled my tickets from being listed for sale. The review process can take up to three days. The tickets are for the World Series so they are very expensive and without much time to spare. My tickets will be available for purchase on StubHub for one day, best case scenario. Also know the tickets were purchased, without fraud concerns, from StubHub the very same day I attempted to list them for sale. In hindsight, I should have reviewed StubHub. Plenty of information out there providing a clear warning.

I sold my tickets on StubHub and never received my payment. I called to inquire and I was told there was a processing issue. My concern is they didn’t not contact me. I called back they told me that the reason I didn’t receive my money is because my ticket wasn’t escalated. This is not the first time I have had a delay in my payments.

This was the worst experience having to deal with StubHub. We purchased tickets for a concert several weeks in advance and after repeated calls to StubHub in advance of the event to get our tickets they were unable to get them for us. They then contacted the seller for them to send us the PDF version of the tickets which they did and we received from StubHub. All this to find out that the tickets had been reimbursed to the seller weeks in advance. After standing outside the concert and trying to work with StubHub we get nowhere. We then had to pay 3x the amount of the tickets since we had to buy them at the door. StubHub still did not want to take any responsible. Having to pay so much more for the same tickets over a mistake that StubHub made is insane.
I strongly recommend that no one purchase any tickets from StubHub. Worst experience ever. While I'm only one consumer I hope this message makes it to several others so they avoid having to deal with the same thing. Oh and to make matters worse they tell me the day after that they will be issuing a fine to the seller.... So as I understand this now StubHub stands to make a profit out of this by issuing a fine to seller but yet the buyer on their platform gets screwed. All I can recommend is to stay as far away from StubHub as you can.

StubHub is horrible. I purchased tickets for an event that ended up being cancelled. Stubhub said they processed my refund but it never showed up. They even went so far as to give me a fake tracking number. The bank said there was never an attempt to refund me. Customer service is no help and there are no supervisors to talk to. I'm out $300. The dispute resolution department at the bank said this happens all the time with them and to sue and publicly shame them. Never use Stubhub. There's no insurance for your purchase. Completely a scam company.

I bought a thousand dollars worth of tickets to the 2022 World Cup, Portugal vs Ghana in July of 2022, I wrote over 10 emails, and endless calls to the incompetent, complete morons at StubHub, this is a criminal enterprise, they take your money and don't deliver. ON ANYTHING, can't the attorney general address this and shut them down?
