I bought tickets to a Met game at city Field for August, and after completing the purchase which went fine instead of coming out of the website on my phone a page appeared asking me about do. I want a parking pass and I thought let me look and see what they’re charging for parking passes. When I clicked on the button at the bottom the next thing I know I had bought a parking pass for $161 plus a $50 service fee came to almost $212 which is absurd. No one in their right mind would pay $212 the Park city field.
When I contacted StubHub I spoke both to a customer service person and then super supervisor. Neither of them were willing to help me out whatsoever even though I notified them within five minutes of making this fraudulent purchase and I say fraudulent because it was why they put the screen on your phone after your purchase is ridiculous. I can imagine how many people have done the same thing as me. Oh I will be immediately contacting American Express as soon as it posts to have this charge back.

Horrible people and horrible site. They are scammers. I purchased tickets to a comedy show to which showed one price in Canadian dollars. When I continued to purchase the tickets prices changes drastically. I contacted the company and also provided screenshots showing it was in CAN $ then Switched and also added a surcharge of $180.00 or more. I contacted my credit Card Company and started a case. I lost as when I purchased the tickets I checked off "Agree to terms and conditions". I am Very Disappointed, I will make sure to make everyone I know of how this company works.

My tickets for my event were cancelled due to inclement weather. On the event page they showed they cancelled it, Stubhub posted that it was postponed so they didn't have to issue me a refund as my tickets would be good for the reschedule date that would never happen. I contacted customer service 4 times, provided links and screenshotted evidence that it was cancelled not postponed and they gave me the run around. Still don't have my tickets. They scammed me out of hundreds of dollars and this was a gift to my mom for Christmas.

I ordered tickets on StubHub and it was close to game time. They didn't send me my tickets until after the game started. They sent me 300 level tickets when I paid for 100 level tickets. I thought it was responsible to call them the next day since we didn't use the tickets to go in and it was late so I wasn't looking to be on the phone arguing about this situation. I called the next day and they said I should have called the same day and it was too late. Completely unreasonable and I will never do business with them again.

If I could provide a negative score, I would. I bought $950 tickets on January 12th for a Knicks game on January 30th. I went to accept my tickets on the 30th. They were showing as ready to accept on the StubHub app. I unfortunately got an error message saying something went wrong in Ticketmaster. I missed the game after being on a call with the StubHub support team for 2 hours. Apparently, the link to claim your tickets can expire if you don't accept them right away with no recourse and no refund. This might be the worst tech I have ever experienced. I thought StubHub was reputable. If the link expires and I lose my tickets, I want an auto-refund. Where are the tickets? How does a tech breakdown prevent me from getting my tickets. I will never use StubHub again, nor should you.

StubHub is the worst app I've ever used to buy tickets. I will never use them again. Not only is the app NOT ever working but not allowing you to print the tickets before the event is just plain stupid. I am NOW waiting for my complaint to escalate, and I still may have to wait until 2PM THE DAY OF THE EVENT to either get a refund or replacement tickets. I live 2hrs away from the event and Texas is 1hr ahead of NM. Honestly, this is the worst experience I've ever had purchasing tickets I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. $220.00 is a lot for me and I rarely get out, I'm completely disgusted.

I bought 2 tickets in the 3rd row for a concert in Fort Lauderdale in May. I never heard of Stub Hub before, and thought I was dealing with the Parker Playhouse's ticketing office. The first e-mail confirmation came with no seat numbers. I used the messaging system to communicate with Stub Hub, and basically was told to go pound salt. The Stub Hub rep told me that my 2 seats probably wouldn't be next to each other. I used my Wells Fargo credit card for the purchase, and immediately contacted them. My complaint with Wells Fargo was dated 12/16/25. Yesterday, 1/28/26, I got notification from Wells Fargo that my case was closed, in my favor. I will never to business again with Stub Hub. Don’t believe this company's LIES! I bought tickets for a play. 4 days before I still hadn’t gotten my tickets. They said to resubmit a request. I did. 3 days before I got Covid and said I wanted to try to sell my tickets. They said to list them and I should receive my tickets the next day. I listed them. 2 days before, my tickets sold, but I still didn’t have tickets. They said that they were escalating it and that I shouldn’t be charged and if I did to file a claim. 1 day before, still no tickets and if I didn’t turn over the tickets to the buying party I would get charged again. I contacted them again and they said to wait.
The show came and went. I was charged not only for my tickets, but also for the ones I sold. Total of about $400. I filed a claim like I had been advised by customer service. I had a receipt of the purchased tickets, the charge for the sold tickets, and a screen shot of cs advising me that I would not be charged. My claim was denied. Their guarantee is bs and they don’t actually follow through with any cs advise given. Don’t buy through them!!

Am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent ticket purchase for Dancing With the Stars, scheduled for Sunday, January 25. I purchased two tickets believing I was buying directly through Ticketmaster, only to later discover that the tickets were actually sold through a third-party reseller, StubHub—a fact that was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
On the day of the event, a significant snowstorm occurred. Due to the weather, the show was rescheduled from 7:00 PM to 1:00 PM, which required attendees to travel during the height of unsafe road conditions. For the safety of my family, we made the difficult decision not to attend. This decision resulted in extreme disappointment, particularly for my teenagers, who were very much looking forward to the show.
When I contacted StubHub regarding a refund, I was informed that no refund would be issued. Instead, I was offered $27.00 for tickets I originally paid $150.00 for. This offer felt unreasonable and dismissive given the circumstances—especially considering the weather emergency and the significant time change of the event. I am extremely disappointed by:
The lack of transparency about purchasing through a third-party resellerThe refusal to provide a fair refund under unsafe weather conditions
The inadequate compensation offered for unused tickets

Stubhub refused to refund me and called me a liar after I told them that our event was cancelled due to extreme winter weather. They claimed we had to wait on their "review" process that would last at least a week then we might get our refund 10 days after they change it in their system. I told them that it was dishonest to post that it was postponed when really it was cancelled. They didn't care and kept saying to wait. They still haven't fixed it going on 3 days now so far after I presented them with all the evidence in the world that it was indeed cancelled. Still not changed in their system and still no refund in sight.

I have used StubHub three times, and each time has been worse than the experience before. Their policies are absolute trash and favor the sellers. First time was for Zach Bryan tickets in Brooklyn which I spent 3000$ for 3 tickets, only to have my tickets rejected at the gate and forced to call StubHub in the crowded entrance while the opener played… Thankfully, we got replacement tickets 10 mins before Zach took the stage. Second purchase was Maluma in Medellin, where we purchased the tickets two weeks before the show, tickets were never sent and we contact customer service multiple times with nothing being resolved, only to find out our order was cancelled for a refund 2 hours before the concert... Beyond disappointed…
Now our third and final order, Bad Bunny in Medellin… Our worst experience and why I will never use them again. Bought our tickets almost two weeks before the day of the concert, the following day the seller contacted me directly, trying to convince me to send him money directly, and that he owns a ticket business, etc.… I told him I had already paid by PayPal to StubHub and this is not how it works… I contacted StubHub customer service, one agent was worse than the next, one spoken more broken English than the next… I explained to them what happened, sent screenshots of the seller's emails to me directly… How was trying to do something underhanded…I didn’t want a refund, I wanted the tickets… after speaking with close to a dozen customer service reps over 10 days, being assured that they are still tickets available for the show and if the seller did not send the tickets, we would be given replacement tickets.
Again, down to the wire and finding out 1 hour before the concert that we would be refunded… Not only that, but I was refunded less money because the exchange rate was different than the day I bought them. Their business model is atrocious. I wouldn’t wish these experiences on my worst enemy. I would encourage everyone to stay far, far away from them and shop elsewhere. When I proved the seller was shady and the reps all agreed, they still had to wait until 5 pm PST before being able to give me a definitive response. The time of the show.

This platform has no protections against scammers, because they depend on the seller to transfer tickets and StubHub doesn't verify who they are sent to or who accepts them. I ordered last-minute parking passes that were supposedly sent by the seller and accepted by me via email. No such thing happened, and StubHub refuses to refund the amount because I contacted them after the event. Fortunately, I did not buy expensive tickets through them, and I never will. Buy at your own risk. I've attached the StubHub email saying to look out for the seller email, and the next email saying to enjoy the event. I did not receive the parking pass.

Bought tickets to see Taskmaster Live in NY months ago for a Christmas/honeymoon gift since it was $600. We both took off from work, knew it would take all day to get to a train station pay for parking/food. It was also one of the coldest day and got warm clothes. StubHub does not, let you bug them until the day of the event and even then they tell you not to ask about tickets not showing up until 3 hours before the event. Didn't get my tickets 3 hours before the event, called support and they said they couldn't get it from their contact??? Then I said ok what seats can you get since we came all this way and pretty much made a day just to get here. There were tickets available but wouldn't get them or even offer to sell them to me. Just offered a refund that's it.
By the time I got off with their support those tickets sold so we were completely screwed and ruined what was to be a joyous christmas/honeymoon. I started calling Stub Hub at 8am the day of the game because I didn't get the tickets and must have talked to them 30 times over the course of the day, I never got my original tickets so they said I could pick from 4 other spots all not even close to the floor like the tickets I paid for. I asked for a full refund, and they refused and said i need to pick one of the other options, I picked one and didn't get those tickets either until half hour after the game started.
My father drover over 4 hours to get to my house then another 2 to the game. We purchased two tickets for a concert in Boston. Due to a personal issue I had to cancel the trip. The StubHub recommended listing the tickets in their sales site. No news for months. Just one day before the concert they texted that someone wants to buy the tickets. I immediately went to the StubHub web page and explained them that I am going to use the tickets myself and the tickets are not on sales.
Today (one day after the concert), I was just charged for the full amount of the tickets ($360) for penalty. Penalty for what? They said I did not delist the sales. Ok I did not de-list but when they contacted me I immediately let them know that I am keeping the tickets myself. What kind of harm did I make to the StubHub? So we went on StubHub, got a parking pass e-ticket emailed to us and when we got it, it said just to park at The Dome, but The Dome has no parking so we paid $40 for it and couldn’t use it. I called customer service. They said, "Oh you’ll get the full e ticket electronically in about 45 minutes."
Well, the time came and gone. We didn’t get it till after the event started and it not still did not have the address of the garage where we paid for parking. It just had America’s Dome parking which The Dome does not have parking itself so it’s one of the garages around it, which we didn’t know cause I didn’t get the address. I called customer service and they said they’re trying to get a hold of the seller to get the address, but they could not get a hold of the seller. Following a date change for the Bad Bunny concert in Peru, StubHub emailed us confirming that resale fees would be waived for this event. - Suppressed our listings unless prices were reduced by $100 per ticket
- Denied the existence of the written promise when presented with the email
- Required ticket custody via the Quentro app, preventing independent transfer to buyers
- Multiple customer support interactions failed to resolve the issue or escalate appropriately.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with StubHub that cost me time, money, and the entire value of the event. I purchased 4 tickets for approximately $1,500, well in advance. On the day of the event, I even contacted StubHub about 4 hours before it started to confirm everything was fine. I was explicitly told that all was well and that I would receive my tickets before the event. I drove 1.5 hours to the venue, and right when the event started, StubHub informed me that the seller had failed to deliver the tickets and asked if I wanted a refund. At that point, a refund was not a real option. I was already at the venue with my group and had planned the entire day around this event.
StubHub offered “replacement tickets,” but the replacements were dramatically inferior. The seats were extremely far away, with limited visibility, and not even remotely comparable to what I originally purchased. Had I bought those replacement seats myself, they would have cost around $500, not $1,500. Despite this, StubHub refused to offer any partial refund, credit, or price adjustment.
This is a deeply unfair and misleading business practice. Waiting until the exact start time of an event to disclose a seller failure leaves customers with no meaningful choice and forces them to accept inferior seats or lose the event entirely. I paid for premium tickets and received budget seats, with no accountability or compensation. StubHub’s assurances earlier in the day were inaccurate, and their resolution was unacceptable. I will not use StubHub again and strongly caution others against relying on them for important or expensive events.

It's about money protection; nobody wants to be out of pocket; Customers/fans experience the inconvenience. I'm sure the Seller Andric Chase sold our tickets for a better profit and Stubhub still collected the fees. How do you expect fans/consumers to purchase with confidence. That's what your platform is based on.
All Stubhub wanted to do is offer the same type of SEATS the Seller sent us around Section 115, Row W. This is the worst experience ever. Stubhub let us down. Stubhub said they will fine the Seller and keep the money from the fine for their "Due diligent" work they put in to sort things out; for their inconvenience, but the buyer gets the real "Inconvenience". It's about the money for Stubhub, It's about a great experience for the customer. It's about purchasing great seats and Seller/Stubhub not fulfilling their agreements, is very disappointing. I'm sure they can care less, they got their profits worth!

You guys pulled a huge scam on me by giving me a parking spot in Long Island when I was going to Radio City in Manhattan for the Rackets concert. How was I supposed to walk an hour in the cold to Radio City with my kids??? Besides having to pay you for the parking reservation, the bridge toll to get to Long Island, then the tunnel toll to get back to Manhattan, and then another parking fee of $55. This was a huge rip-off, and I will report online for this, in addition to offering me orchestra tickets and giving me tickets on the second floor. You are frauds and I will report all of this online... And I demand my refund for this online scam! I'm very disappointed with StubHub!

I did a quick search for a pass to a SPECIFIC parking lot, let's call it "Lot A", to see a Falcons game. The add-on fees were frankly outrageous, but I just wanted an easy in-out because I'm familiar with this lot and it's very close to the stadium. I arrived days later at "Lot A" for the game, where I was told that my ticket was for a different lot, let's call it "Lot B". "Lot B" is further away, and not as nice. I decided to just pay to park at Lot A, then got customer service online. StubHub service basically said, "we've confirmed that your ticket is for Lot B, so there is nothing more we can help you with, but we value our customers yada yada".
I re-stated that I searched specifically for Lot A, clicked ONLY on Lot A in search, and either it is an error that you delivered me a lot B ticket, or your system misled me. They asked if I had screenshots to prove I was looking for Lot A. Of course I don't, because while I was using the StubHub process, I did not assume that there would it would be a shady deal and I'd get shafted. This was all before the game, and I never used the expensive ticket they sold me. They DO NOT value their customers. They DO NOT care if you return of not. They DO NOT fix problems. I personally will never use StubHub again, but if you take the risk, double check that what they're selling you is what you wanted. I should have come here and read the many similar reviews before using StubHub. I lost a bunch of money, and they don't take any responsibility. My advice is to stick with Ticketmaster and Live Nation, or parking apps, where I've never had a problem.

I am filing this complaint because StubHub has failed to resolve a clear ticket delivery issue, despite multiple contacts over the past two days. I purchased two tickets under Order #**. Although StubHub claims both tickets were “claimed,” only one ticket (Ticket #7) actually works and appears in my Ticketmaster account. The second ticket never appears and is not accessible, making the purchase unusable. I have fully verified all possibilities: I have only one Ticketmaster account. I have only one email address. I have checked all inboxes, folders, and accounts repeatedly. Ticketmaster itself shows only one ticket in the order, as evidenced by screenshots already provided.
Despite this clear evidence, StubHub has refused to resolve the issue, insisting on explanations that do not match the facts. This is not a technical inconvenience — it is a failure to deliver what was purchased. One ticket alone is completely useless, as the purchase was made for a pair. Keeping my payment while delivering only one ticket is unacceptable and contrary to StubHub’s FanProtect Guarantee, which explicitly states that buyers must receive the tickets they purchased or receive a full refund. I have therefore formally requested: Immediate cancellation of the order, and A full refund of all amounts paid, including fees. StubHub has not honored this request, leaving me with no choice but to escalate. I am traveling shortly, and further delays are unreasonable. I am requesting urgent assistance to resolve this matter fairly and in accordance with consumer protection standards.

I called stub hub and all they could offer me were 3 options. - 1) Send back the tickets for a full refund, which means I would miss the concert. 2) Send back the tickets and then receive alternative tickets 1 HOUR before the concert. Alternative tickets would be based on availability and the price I paid originally, which at this point was much less than what they were going for the day of the concert. or 3) Accept these wrong tickets, guarantee myself entry to the event, and receive a 25% voucher, which does not actually compensate me for the price difference. For whatever reason, not sure if something happened to where they needed the Tucson Convention Center for something else, another bug event was on town, or something happened with PBR. I verified with Stubhub that our tickets would automatically switch to the new date and our seats reserved.
Fast forward to tonight. We waited and waited for the email that our tickets were transferred. Never got it, so we chatted with Stubhub to find out what happened. We were told that the "time for the seller to transfer the tickets had expired" (this was half an hour BEFORE the event even started and I watched my email all day to check foe tickets, spam and junk folder as well). Stubhub sent us a link to replace the tickets, however no replacement could be made. Unfortunately, after MONTHS of waiting for this event, we would miss the event. Ok, at least we would get a refund, right? Well, the debit card/bank I used is no longer in use. The first person said all I have to do is first update my card on file, then accept the refund, and it will go to whatever card I have on file. So I did that.
I got an email confirming the refund will go to the old card used to make the purchase that is no longer active. They robbed me of nearly $1000 from the money I should have made from sales, then had the audacity to CHARGE me an EXTRA $1000 on TOP of this for "failure to transfer tickets" - which was something caused directly by them, and NOT on my end. I have filed multiple disputes and have STILL not heard a single word from their team. This was nearly 1.5 months ago.

Of course they instruct you to go through the virtual app for customer service. I didn’t want talk to a virtual assistant. I wanted to talk to a live person. Nowhere do they publish a number in the app for calling customer service. I had to Google to try to find a number to call to talk to a live person.
Finally got through to a live person and they told me now that the email has been updated that it would take an additional 10 days for things to be rectified. I am writing to inquire about a potential class action lawsuit against StubHub regarding its unfair terms and conditions and its practice of failing to deliver tickets in a timely manner.
My Specific Issue: I purchased FIFA event tickets through StubHub. The company has failed to transfer the tickets until hours before or, in some cases, during the scheduled match time. This practice causes significant distress, travel disruption, and the risk of missing the event entirely, even though the tickets were paid for well in advance. This non-delivery of service is a clear violation of consumer expectations for a ticket purchased through a major broker.
Basis for Class Action: This issue is not isolated. StubHub's policy and execution regarding high-demand, time-sensitive events like FIFA matches appear to systematically expose a large number of consumers to this unreasonable risk and harm. I believe StubHub is unjustly profiting from hard-working people while offering terms and conditions that are unfairly beneficial only to StubHub.
I am prepared to serve as the Lead Plaintiff to represent others who have been harmed by this practice and am seeking legal representation to compel StubHub to change its policies to be fair to all consumers. Please contact me at ** if you are interested in discussing this matter further.

I purchased my tickets on October 12, well before resellers drove prices up, and trusted StubHub to deliver what I paid for. Weeks later, after countless calls and even having a family member reach out on my behalf, I received no clear answers or help. On the day of the event, multiple representatives gave conflicting information, brushed me off, and hung up on me. StubHub had weeks to fix the issue but waited until it was too late, leaving me without tickets. Their “FanProtect Guarantee” is a complete joke. There was no protection, transparency, or accountability. This was not just an inconvenience — it was a preventable failure caused by negligence. I went to the event and got in the security line but the ticket never arrived, even after the game had begun. I contacted StubHub customer service. By around 12:30p they determine that my ticket was not available, and agreed to get me a replacement ticket. I selected a replacement ticket on their app (using the link StubHub provided) that indicated a ticket for a specific row and seat.
The replacement ticket also never arrived to me and by about 1:15p StubHub blamed the person who was providing the replacement ticket and told me the replacement ticket was no longer available. I talked to customer service more and they offered once again to provide a new replacement ticket. I again selected a replacement ticket on their app (using the link StubHub provided) that indicated a ticket for a specific row and seat.
This third attempt at getting me my ticket also failed, and StubHub customer service eventually told me this new replacement ticket was no longer available. By about 1:45p (remember, the game started at 12 noon), the StubHub customer service representative told me "the event had passed," that I should go home, and that I was not getting a ticket for the event. I left. At about 2p, I received an email saying that I had a StubHub ticket for the game - which had started two hours earlier. I did not open the email since I had already left based on the instructions of the StubHub representative. I had spent about three hours in the MN November cold outside waiting for my ticket to get in, and I never got past security. The customer service representative said I would receive a refund. Since I no longer had access to that email address, I contacted Customer Service to request assistance in updating my email address. I first had to navigate through an AI virtual assistant before reaching a live agent. A very nice young man named Mohammed joined the chat and asked me several relevant questions to make sure he understood my issue.
He advised me to create a new account with the correct email address, then he would move the tickets over to that account. I did exactly as he instructed, and he confirmed that he would move the tickets and would also notify the seller of the change as well. StubHub's FAQ section advises that tickets are often not sent until the day of the event, but when I still had not received them four hours before the concert was to begin, I contacted StubHub Customer Service again. There is no option to call or email anyone; there is only the virtual assistant channel to communicate with them. I went through my issue with a live agent named Dayana, who must have gone through different training than Mohammed because she was incredibly rude.
She said that Mohammed gave me the wrong directions and that I needed to contact Axios. I had no clue who that was - then I discovered that Axios is also a ticket broker. I thought that StubHub was the channel through which individual buyers could buy from individual sellers, but apparently StubHub is part of a network of brokers/sellers that are companies, not individuals.
Dayana directed me to log into Axios to get to their customer service; since I don't have an Axios account and didn't know who they were until 3 hours before the concert, she said there was nothing else StubHub could do. I asked to speak with a manager, and she said that there was no one else for me to speak with, and even if there was, they would just tell me the same thing - that StubHub could not assist with getting my tickets from the ticket seller, nor would they refund my purchase. Again, this agent was exceptionally rude and it was clear she had no intent of trying to help me further. I concluded my chat with her and said that StubHub would be hearing from me.
Unfortunately, there is no other communication channel with that company. No email address, no phone number, not even a street address to mail a complaint. Just that virtual assistant which is useless for anything other than order status. So - I went back through the virtual assistant and reached another live agent named Julia. I explained my situation for a third time and received the same response - there was nothing that StubHub could do to get my tickets to me, and furthermore, my situation did not warrant a refund.
At this point it was too late for me to use the tickets anyway, as the show was to start in less than an hour. I insisted on speaking with someone in a more senior role, and although Julia was professional about it, she said that she could not connect me with anyone else. She did agree to submit an escalated complaint on my behalf and committed to a response within 72 hours. She also sent me an email with the case numbers for my escalation (one for the tickets, and one for the parking pass).
I never heard anything back, and today was the 20th day. I contacted Customer Service through that darn virtual assistant again, and this time reached an agent named Elaine. After Elaine made me go back through all the details again (this makes 4 times now), she said she could not help me and that the first agent gave me the wrong instructions. I asked her to find out what happened with the escalations, and she said they were denied; she said that, because the event was over two weeks ago, there was nothing StubHub could do.
I followed StubHub's Customer Service directions exactly to the letter to update my email address one week before the concert, and StubHub failed to follow through. I am retired and cannot afford to lose $600+ dollars, but StubHub does not care about that. Their guarantees are BS, and I will never EVER do business with this company again. I strongly warn other consumers against doing business with them.

I got the feeling they knew somethings was up a few days prior and I called every day to pressure them. Has they told me earlier I could have found a ticket.
Ticketmaster released my ticket the following day, after the event was over, which I paid almost $1000! While they refunded me, they advised me that it is not possible for them GUARANTEE ANY TICKET. I bought tickets to the Suns/Spurs game in Phoenix, together with a parking pass. The parking pass is described as "Jefferson St. Garage", which presumably is proximate to the arena, since the cost, with fees, was $25.34. Turns out the parking is not in a garage, but in a church parking lot which is over a mile from the arena (the arena entrance is on the far side of the arena facility). There is no address on the parking lot, and there are multiple signs that indicate that parking in the lot is solely for church goers, and others will be towed. Had to drive around the block several times to conclude that the garage must instead by this surface lot.
It was a 28 minute walk to the arena entrance. The arena is on first street; the parking lot is on 11th street, so it is 10 blocks from the arena. Outrageous that they would advertise this lot as a parking garage for the arena. I'm sure that the parking garages proximate to the arena are much cheaper than this very remote parking lot. Total scam by StubHub. My ticket experience was also lousy. You receive digital tickets, which were supposed to be delivered no later than 3:00 pm for a 6:00 pm game. When they didn't arrive, I had to navigate their website to figure out how to contact StubHub. I ended up chatting with some bot, which initially indicated that my tickets were for a 2024 game. Spent over 30 minutes trying to reach an actual human.
Finally I chatted with someone who indicated that they would either issue a refund or alternate seats. I said a refund wasn't what I wanted, and ultimately received replacement tickets which were relatively comparably, but between the delay in receiving the tickets, searching for the garage, and then a 28 minute walk to the arena, we missed the first quarter of the game.

Bought seven tickets 3 weeks before a comedy event, had the order confirmed through StubHub, email confirmation and everything. I waited patiently, but contacted the virtual customer service through StubHub's app about a week before the event because I had not received my tickets yet. It said my order had been confirmed and I will receive my tickets before the event starts, even up till a few hours before the event starts.
I reached out two more times leading up to the event with the same response. A couple hours before the show started, I eventually got ahold of a live customer service representative through the app and was told to wait about five minutes to see where my tickets were at. She came back and a message popped up saying the seller is not able to provide the tickets that I originally purchased.
Then the chat function ended and I was not able to get new tickets because it was sold out. I was extremely disappointed because we had been waiting weeks for this! They are supposed to be reimbursing me my money for the tickets. I will never be using StubHub again and would stay far away from this company. I purchased a parking pass through StubHub on 10/30/25 because I had also purchased tickets from them to a concert at the Hollywood Palladium for 11/5/25. I had been led to believe the parking lot was conveniently located near the venue. The email notification regarding the parking pass purchase said, “Over a 15-minute walk to the venue.” I don’t live in Los Angeles so I am not familiar with the area.
When I made it to the parking lot on the evening of the concert I found out it was way too far from the venue to make any sense. It would have been a 40 minute walk to get to the Hollywood Palladium and then another 40 minute walk to get back to it the parking lot. I didn’t park there because I was able to find a spot that was much closer.
The parking pass said it was provided by a company called ParkWhiz. So I tried contacting them about requesting a refund. They made the process difficult so I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I found out that the parking pass was actually purchased through StubHub, which was a third party retailer, and ultimately they were responsible.
So I contacted StubHub via their live chat service. The representative, who called herself Pearl, was at first very accommodating and said she would escalate the issue and refer me to a representative who would be better able to handle the issue. Then after a brief pause she completely changed her tune saying I reported the issue too late and there was nothing they could do. I told her that was unacceptable and the reason why I was late reporting was because I first tried working with ParkWhiz for the refund request.
I told her I wished to speak with a supervisor but she became uncooperative and argued the supervisor would tell me the same thing. I informed her that I would report StubHub, they lost a customer for life and I would warn as many people as possible about there deceptive and unprofessional business practices. She said my statement was noted. She then proceeded to argue with me and then kept repeating that there was nothing they could do because I reported the issue too late.
I checked and there was nothing in their emails or in their website saying there was a time limitation on requesting a refund. I told her as much and then I called her out for lying about saying she would escalate the issue and refer me to someone better able to handle the issue. After that she became belligerent and abruptly closed the chat. Ultimately I am extremely upset at StubHub for doing such a terrible and unprofessional job of handling this issue.
In the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I found out their website that not only are they not a BBB accredited business but they have a rating of “F” with thousands upon thousands of complaints filed. The “F” rating is due to failing to respond to many of said complaints or failing to resolve those they did respond to. They are also the target of a lawsuit in which a DC Attorney General has sued StubHub for deceptive pricing and junk fees. So I am warning everyone to stay away from this business and by no means proceed to purchase any tickets or passes of any kind from them. They will rip you off one way or another and clearly believe they are justified in doing so!

I contacted StubHub and they told me the parking pass wasn't available (no email or notification was sent to notify me) and the tickets would be available at latest the day OF the event, 3 hours before curtain time. Really?
Cut to the chase, after multiple phone calls promising the tickets would be released, being on 3 different customer service calls during the entire drive (over an hour) to the venue, paying for parking and standing in line for the play I was told no tickets were available 15 minutes prior to the show's start. I got a refund - so what - I didn't get to give my husband his birthday present and we set aside a whole day, drove to DC and paid for parking for an event neither of us got to see. I have since found this happened to friends of ours and is a pretty routine occurrence for StubHub. Terrible business model. Of course, the tickets weren't there at 5.
Contacted customer support a 2nd time: did get replacement tickets sent to me. However, these they were decidedly worse than the originals. When contacting customer service they stated the parking pass was different but because it was the same parking line and was within 30 minute walk that unfortunately it was still considered valid and they could not help me. Customer service admitted this was misleading, but unfortunately falls within their guidelines as valid.
As we were unable to walk this far, we ended up parking in advertised location on purchase and received 75.00 fine. On 4/15/25, I received an email from StubHub stating my tickets are ready. On 11/16/25 I received an email from StubHub stating that “the primary ticketing vendor unexpectedly canceled the transfer of your tickets. Don't worry! We are contacting your seller about this to ensure you can get your tickets in time for Patti Smith.” I spent an hour on the phone only to be told this will not be sorted out until ONE hour before the show, because “This is StubHub’s protocol”. I was also asked to download the TicketMaster app and look for the tickets there, knowing full well they weren’t.
I spent an hour on the phone this morning, and another 45 minutes just now. Even the “Replacement tickets” they offered us at 7:15 p.m. (for an 8:00 p.m. show, and we would need to wait for up to 30 minutes to receive) did not materialize. The StubHub agent suggested there’s an issue with my phone, and that I should try to download the tickets on my desktop, knowing full well these were scam tickets also. I need everyone to read this, especially parents. What happened to my family today was beyond disappointing — it was heartbreaking, careless, and completely unacceptable. I bought two tickets in JULY for my 16-year-old daughter and my husband. My daughter is a wonderful girl — respectful, responsible, and she never asks for anything. When she finally got excited about something impossible, I did everything in my power to make it happen. For months, she looked forward to this moment. She’s very sensitive emotionally, and when she gets her hopes up, she feels things deeply.
I invested time, money, clothes, planning — everything so she could have this special day. We got ready early, bought outfits, prepared everything to make sure she would be on time and happy. As a mother, you do whatever you can when your child’s happiness is on the line. StubHub destroyed all of that. If you’re considering buying tickets on StubHub, PLEASE READ THIS first. I wish someone had warned me.
I purchased two tickets in JULY — yes, months ago — for an event happening today. I paid in full, trusted the platform, and waited patiently. As the event approached, I checked my order and noticed it was still “processing,” so I contacted StubHub’s automated chat. The system told me my tickets would be available at 5:00 PM today, so I stayed calm and waited. At 5 PM I checked my email… nothing. No tickets. No updates. No explanation.
I contacted the automated system again, and it reassured me that sometimes transfers take a little longer but that “I was guaranteed to receive them.” So my family and I got ready and started driving — we live far from the venue, so we had to leave early. Halfway there, I suddenly receive a message saying there was a “problem with the tickets” and that I would only be offered a refund. A refund was NOT what I needed. The event was TODAY. I was already on my way. I wanted the tickets I had purchased since JULY. I insisted on a replacement. They told me to check Ticketmaster for the “new tickets” — and when I tried, Ticketmaster showed the truth: The seller CANCELLED the tickets.
When StubHub tried to contact the seller, the seller didn’t pick up the phone, sent them straight to voicemail, and never replied to emails. And instead of truly helping me, the representative (who was also rude) kept repeating the same thing: “We can only offer a refund.” Even after I explained — repeatedly — that I was already in the city, right in front of the venue, ready to enter.
On top of that, StubHub closed my live chat, hung up on me twice when I called back, and only on the third attempt did I reach someone respectful. But even then, they made it clear: Their so-called ‘FanProtect Guarantee’ protected absolutely NOTHING. They held my money from JULY until the DAY OF THE EVENT. They reassured me all day that the tickets were coming. They let me drive all the way to the city. And only THEN did they tell me the seller canceled and that a refund was my only “solution.”
StubHub didn’t care that:• I purchased months in advance
• I was already halfway to the venue
• I had a guarantee of delivery
• I lost the entire experience
• The event was TODAY
• I wasted time, gas, emotional energy, and my night
They didn’t even attempt to replace the tickets or take responsibility. They simply shrugged, hid behind scripted lines, and treated me like the situation was my problem — when THEY failed to deliver what I purchased. This is unacceptable, irresponsible, and disrespectful. StubHub’s system failed me completely. And if you’re considering buying tickets here, you need to know that this can happen to you too — even if you buy MONTHS in advance. This was my first and absolute LAST experience with StubHub. Please think twice before trusting this platform

I've never purchased concert tickets before but wanted to surprise my wife. Turns out my wife can't take off work that day so I had to cancel. Only I couldn't cancel, I had to resell the tickets. That's when everything went downhill because it was so easy at first. Not only did I have to resell the two seats next to each other but the parking pass as well. The parking, if nothing else, shouldn't have to be sold by the customer, it should be completely refundable. I even got insurance on the tickets. Anyway, my 1 star is for customer service. I was having a hard time selling because of the instructions Grubhub gave me. They wanted me to send the tickets to an email they created for me. Only I couldn't transfer it to the buyer from StubHub to StubHub, it had to be third party. So I had to cancel my transfer to myself, send it BACK to Ticketmaster then finally I was able to send it to the buyer.
With one seat sold I only had one more left to sell and I'm frustrated but I'm determined to make my money back or at least close to the amount I spent. I downloaded the apps by this point to make my StubHub and Ticketmaster experience a little easier than using the web browser and having to sign in Everytime. It didn't help because even on the app I still have to sign in Everytime I close the app only adding to my frustration. The 2nd seat sold but unlike on the web browser where I was able to type in section 104, the app didn't have an option to type. I saw numbers 1 through 4. So I assumed it must be 1 because according to the map of the stadium the seats were decent seats when I purchased them. I was wrong. I didn't find this out until a phone call I received from Viagogo at work later in the day.
Prior to the phone call from Viagogo I chatted with virtual agents, live agents, lost connection, got a phone call for StubHub, got the run around, and finally had my case escalated to a higher level. So Viagogo calls me later that day on the behalf of the buyer of the 2nd seat. They are frustrated because I'm not understanding them, only I am. They just aren't explaining themselves well. I had to calm him down to help him help me because he is extremely frustrated with me after only a few seconds of being on the phone with me. I kept telling him the transfer went through. He said no, no, NO it's not the transfer that is the issue! I'm like, "Okay you should've said that the first time I mentioned the transfer." He said it was the section. It should've been 104, not section 1. I told him the app gave me trouble and I never saw a 104 option.
I asked how do I remedy the situation at this point because I already transferred the ticket and the buyer is refusing to accept the ticket likely because the section isn't the section they want. I can't make the ticket magically become the section the buyer wants. He huffed and hung the phone up on me. Extremely unprofessional. Now the buyer has canceled from the looks of it and they are expecting me to pay the buyer. Mind you, I don't even have any money from the buyer because the money doesn't transfer to our account until 5 to 8 business days AFTER the date of the event, which is Dec 16th. That's PLENTY of time for StubHub to reimburse the buyer. Simply cancel the payment or something. And they always have the scapegoat of blaming us customers for other customers' bad experience and if not they blame the third-party vendors. It's not fair to us the way they do business. Horrible experience.

It was around halftime. When you purchase tickets StubHub doesn't accept the tickets from the seller so they don't send them to the buyer. Ticketmaster is instant I think. I waited around. If things go smoothly then maybe you're fine, but if things go wrong then you might be out of luck. If StubHub is reading this I'd suggest maybe some sort of screenshot with the verification of transfer or to accept the tickets and send them yourselves because relying on random people can really mess up your platform. When asked to have infield, they waited until 2 days before to say they couldn't give us assigned so just gave refund. Had to get new tickets that were 4x the price. Awful customer service!

I wish I can give 0 star. Brought tickets for an event 4 months ahead, website keep saying I will receive the tickets close to the event day, day come, no tickets, chat with cs and tickets should it be email by 4:30, on the way to the event still no tickets, contact cs again just to find out my tickets was never transferred and no other tickets was available. Even they refused tickets money, where's the fact that a birthday gift was ruined, the gas, and the inconvenience since I was 45 mins away from the event.

Never buy through them again. Had a problem with getting tickets and wait time for phone help was too long. And they refused refund. Their policy is to not address any issues after the event. Wait time at box office would have taken almost as long as the event.

Complete scam! trying to sell 3 tickets to Alabama. If they are not priced lower than comparable ones in the section, they do not "recommend" them and actually show them as "hidden", until you lower the price. So they force the sellers to lower the prices in order to have them displayed as "recommended". They won't permit you to change them to individual sales (must sell all 3) unless you remove the listing and relist them as solo seats. IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone and the live chat feeds you scripted responses, despite the nuances of your question. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE STUBHUB FOR ANYTHING. SCAM.

Premier League tickets are not honored!! StubHub is not an authorized reseller of tickets for the English Premier League. Clubs are absolutely cracking down on unauthorized tickets, and they are increasingly sophisticated in identifying a buyer with illegally sourced tickets both at the entry and even within the stadium. Stubhub does not respond to fraudulent ticket sales and will not reimburse you so you will be left trying to get credit from your credit card company. It is generally no more expensive to buy from the authorized resellers so do your due diligence and go the authorized route, or buy in town via a hotel concierge.

If I could give Stubhub a negative score I would. They scammed me by showing the ticket prices and I am telling you how it appears when you go on their site. I wanted 2 tickets. When you choose where you want to sit it allows you to choose section and row but not seats (at least in my case) what I chose showed (verbatim) 2 tickets row section 144, row $340.00 fees included. I expected to pay $340.00 plus tax because fees were included. When you choose payment method you select card type like Mastercard and put in the info. You also pu5t your name, email address etc. The final cost does not show until after they have processed your payment. To my shock I was charged $752.93. They chose what seats and they happened to be 2 tickets being resold from a scalper. I immediately contacted them and all they did was lie and double talk.
When I got my tickets they were not in row 30 because there is no row 30. Everyone in the row we were in all paid an average of $250.00 for 2 tickets plus tax. I am pursuing this in court which will cost them more than they ever profited. I and everyone I know or ever will know will never use stubhub. You should check out the reviews. Not the reviews on their site but just type in stubhub customer reviews and you will see that they have a lousy reputation and it is well deserved. Their customer service is rude and ineffective to say the least. It is just a waste of time. I bet they won't let this review stay in here but I will be posting this review in several places to make sure the public is well aware of stubhub's fraudulent business practices. The tickets were transferred to Ticketmaster and I picked them up at the Alamodome box office which get scanned from your mobile phone.

Since there was no way to deliver the tickets I didn't have anymore they CHARGED ME the full price of the tickets AGAIN!!!! I'm beyond upset on how much money I just threw down the drain. I bought tickets for “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg for November 12, 2025. Naturally, I picked the most expensive seats—because apparently I enjoy financially suffering for “prime location.” I even bought parking in advance, because I’m thorough like that. So imagine my joy when I discovered later that StubHub—sitting smugly at the top of Google like it owns the entire internet—isn’t even part of the theater. Silly me for assuming the site plastered all over the search results was, you know, legitimate and connected to the actual venue. Nope. I could have clicked one inch lower and bought everything directly from the Mahaffey for much less. What a concept.
But let’s get to the main attraction. I paid $39.74 for a parking pass. Pricey, yes—but I naïvely assumed “prime parking” meant somewhere within the same ZIP code as the theater. Turns out this “prime” parking was a half-mile away—basically a scenic urban hike we had not planned on. But since we didn’t know any better, we gamely trekked the distance. And when we finally reached the theater—slightly winded but still upright—what did we see? A huge onsite parking lot for ten dollars. Ten. So yes, we paid more than triple the price to park farther away. Because apparently, at age 80, what we really needed was a cardiovascular challenge disguised as “parking.”
So here’s my public service announcement: Scroll past StubHub. Scroll like your financial sanity depends on it. Go directly to the venue’s website unless you enjoy surprise hikes and premium prices for bargain-bin service. Sure, I missed the fine print—that’s on me. But companies that charge top dollar for bottom-tier convenience? That’s on them. And trust me, they’re happy to take your money and give you as little as possible in return. You’ve been warned.

Worst experience ever in purchasing tickets with this company. The night of our event, we couldn’t receive our tickets due to a system error. We spent 45 minutes on a call with an agent who was unable to provide a solution. We ended up purchasing two new tickets at the event as StubHub did not produce the tickets in time. Since we’ve requested a refund and the company refuses to provide. I would not do business with this company, zero protection for purchase. I made a complaint to two managers at the call centre and which point I was told a refund was possible but then to my surprise, I was asked to log onto my phone App Store and send a gift card in order to verify myself. I declined, yet another attempt of fraudulent behaviour. I have since opened an investigation with the fraud department of my CC & filed a police report.

Worst experience ever! I had an extra ticket to a Bad Bunny concert so I posted on StubHub. It sold. The buyer was sitting next to me all night. We even spoke. Everything seemed fine. The next morning I get a email from stub hub stating the buyer was denied entry and the buyer was getting a refund and I was going to get charged a penalty (the amount of the ticket $531.00). I disputed it. Sent even pictures of the buyer sitting next to me. At this point it was my word vs hers and stub hub went into investigation giving no information. They said I was wrong and charged me the penalty. I had no say. I hope people see this and do not use stub hub to sell tickets.

I bought tickets through StubHub because they advertise “100% guaranteed” and say you can “buy and sell with confidence.” That’s a lie. Here’s what actually happens: you buy tickets, they take your money immediately, and then you get an email saying your tickets will “arrive soon” and you’ll need to “accept them.” Translation: they don’t actually have the tickets they just sold you.
In my case, I was told I would get my tickets at least 3 hours before the show. The time came and passed and still no tickets. Two hours before the event, I had to reach out to them because they didn’t even bother contacting me. It took 20 minutes to get someone in their chat, only to be told I could either: Take worse tickets (literally last 2nd to last row of the stadium), for the same price, or get a refund and not go at all even though we’d already planned the night, gotten ready, and paid for a babysitter. So basically, StubHub sells you premium tickets they don’t actually have, waits until the last minute when you’re too invested to back out, and then offers you garbage seats or nothing. That’s not a “guarantee.” That’s bait and switch.
They did have better tickets listed on their own site when they offered me the trash tickets but wouldn’t give me those. They wouldn’t discount the worse seats. Just a robotic “we understand your frustration.” StubHub’s system is broken, dishonest, and fraudulent. They ruined our night, wasted our time, and turned what was supposed to be a fun event into a headache. If you’re considering buying through StubHub, don’t. There’s no confidence, no reliability, and certainly no guarantee. Only regret.

On the day of the show Stubhub contacted me that there was a problem. This was at 5:09 pm and the show had already started and I didn't see the email until the next day. When I disputed the cancellation of this transaction and the penalty I provided Stubhub with the pre upload confirmation and they denied my request, Not only does Stubhub charge very high fees but they don't provide adequate support for loyal customers. On September 22, 2025, I purchased tickets to an event at the Arlene Schnitzer Hall in Portland, OR, along with a parking pass. These were purchased as a gift for my best friend's 50th birthday. On October 22, 2025, I received an email from StubHub stating, "These tickets are no longer valid and will not gain you entry to the venue." These tickets were supposed to be instant download and are not available. I attempted to resell, but lack of access impacted my ability to do so. An hour was spent going back and forth on a chat with an "agent". I requested a full refund for the invalid tickets. I was told the matter would be forwarded for investigation. Nothing was resolved. On October 22, 2025, I received an email from StubHub stating "We have escalated your case to the internal team. Please wait for a separate email regarding our request."
On October 28, 2025, I received another email from StubHub stating, "These tickets are no longer valid and will not gain you entry to the venue." On October 29, 2025, I contacted customer support via their chat box. First it was a virtual assistant who then connected me to an "agent". After insisting on a full refund for the event tickets, the first agent hung up on me. The second agent was even less helpful. They both insisted that they only way to resolve the issue was to "wait and see IF StubHub was able to find replacement/comparable tickets" and that I would be "notified by November 17, 2025, THE DAY OF THE EVENT. If they were not able to find replacement tickets, only then would they issue a refund ". I told them this was totally unacceptable and asked for a customer service phone number to speak with an agent.
First, they gave me a bogus number with a sketchy answering machine for "Via Go Go". I then did an online search and found 888-720-9452. I spoke with a woman who proceeded to read off of the same script. I told her that waiting to see IF they could find replacement tickets was not an option and that the only easy way to resolve the matter was to issue a full refund for event tickets. I was told that the matter was being forwarded to an investigative team for resolution. I explained to her that protecting scammers working through the StubHub system and allowing their customers to become victims of fraud was not good business and that, if necessary, I would report their actions to the appropriate agencies. She reiterated it would be investigated and that I would receive an email on the status of my request for a refund.
An hour later I reached out to their customer service via the chat box and requested a transcript of my communications regarding this matter be sent to my email address. They ignored my request. On November 4, 2025, I received yet another email, the third since my online purchase, from StubHub stating, "These tickets are no longer valid and will not gain you entry to the venue."
All I want is a full refund. And yet, despite being the victim of an obvious scam to which they have basically admitted to, StubHub is not doing anything other than protecting the scammer. I have since filed complaints with various state government and consumer protection agencies, as well as the FBI's internet crime division.
Once StubHub was notified of my complaints by multiple agencies all of a sudden, they had "replacement" tickets available. Strangely those replacement tickets are the same exact seats of my "original" tickets. I sent them an email telling them that it was too late, alternative plans had already been made and that I want a full refund. No response from StubHub.

I bought tickets through StubHub for the Hondo Rodeo Fest in Phoenix, AZ (Nov 8, 2025). At first, everything seemed fine — the tickets transferred smoothly. Then, about three weeks before the event, I got an email from Ticketmaster saying my tickets were voided because the seller violated their terms. StubHub told me not to worry and that they’d give the seller 72 hours to fix the issue or provide replacement tickets or a refund under their FanProtect Guarantee. A week went by — nothing. I called multiple times, and every time I was told the same thing: that my case was being “escalated” and that I’d receive replacement tickets soon. First it was “24 hours before the event,” then “2 hours,” then “1 hour.” It just kept getting delayed.
We drove all the way to Arizona, booked hotels, and took time off work for this event — all based on StubHub’s empty promises. Now we’re here with no tickets, no clear answers, and a ruined vacation. This was supposed to be a fun getaway, but StubHub turned it into a nightmare. I will never buy tickets from this website again. Nobody deserves this kind of stress and disappointment, especially after spending their hard-earned money in good faith.
