I have used StubHub for years for baseball games. I recently purchased tickets for the Pump and Dump show. The rep at StubHub informed me they were mobile transfers. I figured great they will be on my phone in the app just like my baseball tickets always are. The app read “4 tickets ready”. Assuming they were “ready” my friends and I set out for a fun night out.
We got to the show and apparently the tickets were sitting with Ticketmaster and I didn’t accept them... so I contacts StubHub and Ticketmaster via phone to resolve the issue using my email address and confirmation number. No one could help me and we missed the show that we spent $70 a piece to attend. I contacted StubHub the following day to ask about reimbursement and was told they couldn’t help me it was “buyer error”. Yet I am told Ticketmaster and StubHub are not connected. My tickets were with Ticketmaster and it wasn’t StubHub’s responsibility. My StubHub app still says I have “4 tickets ready”. They offered no willingness to reimburse us. I will not use StubHub again!!!

I bought a ticket to Emerald City Comic Con Friday general admission at over double face value. When I received my ticket in the mail it was a kid’s all-week pass. Thinking this was a simple mistake I called customer service and was told that there was a comment by the seller that it was a child’s ticket. I told them I saw no comment when I bought the ticket. Also there is no such thing as a Friday kid’s ticket. The only Friday ticket was a general admittance ticket. The only children’s ticket was an all-week pass (with a face value 40% of a Friday GA ticket). Also the order confirmation email didn’t mention anything about a kid’s ticket. Customer service told me this was my fault.
I should have read the special comments and the seller had provided a way in for a child on Friday which according to them is what I ordered. I asked about their guaranteed entry policy and they said that it doesn’t apply to this. They said I can’t resell the ticket as the event was so close and they suggested I sell it to a friend or family member. I never raised my voice and remained calm, but I was told that as we are not getting any closer to coming to an understanding he (the call center manager) was going to be forced to disconnect the call. I’ve never been treated like that by any customer service. Unapologetic and treating me like I’m trying to scam them.

First off, StubHub does NOT sell tickets, they merely 'list' them from private sellers. I purchased mobile tickets on March 13th for a show on May 8th. The tickets were not made available to me until May 7th, the day before the show. The 2 tickets cost $513 and StubHub charged $150.80 in fees for a total of $ 663.80. I ended up needing to resell the tickets a few days after I bought them and when I contacted StubHub to do so, they set the price at the recommended $221 per ticket (less than what I initially paid) for a total of $442. I would only receive $396 of that though, on top of the fact that we're charging the new buyer the same fees they charged me the first time AND was told by their representative that I could be "penalized" for not having the tickets in hand when they are purchased. I basically feel like I paid almost $700 to learn that StubHub is a waste of time and money. Just stick with Ticketmaster.

I got ripped off by StubHub. As I was purchasing tickets to the 2019 Big East semifinal. The final step stopped and said there was a quantity change. I went back and checked the same quantity (2) and saw the same ticket price I originally clicked on. Then as I hit button to purchase I noticed the total price had increased by about $50. I called in my complaint to no avail and I’m stuck overpaying when there are about 10 other similar seats within $5 of my original price. I will never use StubHub again.

I bought a great ticket for the Atlanta Braves and NY Yankees game, near home plate on the 5th row. With the fees, the cost was $134.00. When I sought to get the emailed ticket, said ticket got lost in the digital space. I called StubHub and spoke with four different representatives who were all very nice and apologetic, but could not access the ticket I paid for. They never could. After some three hours of phone and internet and mobile app involvement I gave up and said I wanted a refund, which I thought would be consistent with their customer satisfaction guarantee. I was wrong. I was told that the ticket was sent to me and that they could do nothing about it. Keep in mind that the previous 3 hours were spent on a futile attempt to get the ticket that I paid for. I will never deal with this rip off bunch again, and would warn others of the same BS they will encounter.

Bought some basketball tournament tickets, drove 500 miles and went to pick them up and was told order cancelled!! Reason was seller made error in listing price. StubHub policy say orders can not be cancelled, all sales final, and even says if seller didn't get what he wanted all sales final. It also say StubHub will replace with comparable seat when possible. They tell me there are not, however I showed them 10 seats in same row and same section! They say I will get a refund in 3-5 days, that is their buyer guarantee!! Very polite the whole time they were telling to to go pound sand. Been a customer for years and have spent 1000s with them. I asked to close my account because never want this to happen again. They said no problem. Great customer service, NOT.

Was looking to buy concert tickets for an English alternative rock musician, Yungblud whom is not greatly known here in the United States and is just playing at a small little venue. On the day the tickets went on sale at they were "sold out" within 4 hours only to find out StubHub had apparently purchased ALL of the tickets and turned around and is selling them at 3x their original price. The reason I know this is because after I had purchased the ticket for over $65.00 the concert ticket shows $20.21. I will NEVER purchase from StubHub again, it's a complete ripoff!

Purchased tickets online. Paid an enormous processing fee. The event is out of state more than 2 months away with a UPS delivery 2 days prior to the event. Cannot change delivery of tickets to electronic and there’s no guarantee the tickets will be received before I travel. Cannot cancel order. They have my money and I have nothing. StubHub should be forced to establish a 24 hour order cancellation policy for these types of situations. This is not a consumer friendly model. The only guarantee is that StubHub earns a fee and buyers have no rights. Stay away. Would have given zero stars.

I was so excited to learn Peter Frampton was coming, I went in to the StubHub site. After I click on the seats I was unaware that I wasn't purchasing Peter Frampton, as the page changed out so fast I could even look at the final page. I called StubHub immediately then told I had tickets for something else! Had no clue what they are! Using up all my credit on my credit card! The person said, "That's your problem. You can resell them!" I said, "Are you serious? Your site did some kind of switch & I have to now sell them?" & it just happened. "Nothing else we can do for you." I'm in an ICU with my mom fighting for her life, StubHub won't do anything to switch for the tickets I want. & Stated even if they put them out to sell for me no guarantee I'll get my money back! Then stated they're the biggest ticket sellers, more like fault stealing people's money.
I shouldn't have to eat tickets I never wanted & found out on accident that they weren't Peter Frampton. Right after the purchase. Seconds! Bogus. This is fraud at its best. I purchased Bruins tickets. I'll look elsewhere for tickets after this. Their actions are very deceitful practices & Consumer Affairs & Attorneys General should be looking into these fraudulent actions. On top of outrageous fees these companies are charging two to three different ones. There should be regulations on this practices. The consumer being taken to the cleaners. It's disgusting. I should be & everyone who has this experience be refunded. Not have to pay for product never intended for. It's fraud.

I bought 4 tickets to Panic At The Disco on 2/12/2019 for the March 3rd show at the Houston Rodeo. I received confirmation through the correct email that I entered along with my credit card number. Printed it out order numbers the same night and set up Flash Seats, (that I didn’t even know was a thing or I would have gone through them in the first place). So we think we are good to go. My tickets never show up on Flash Seats, I call them, they let me know that I have to call StubHub, so I do. After speaking to about 3 or 4 different people someone lets me know that they have the wrong email address. I asked them to fix it, that I never used that email ever and didn’t even know how they got it. How did I receive my confirmation email and order number at the right email but the tickets were linked to an email that I couldn’t even recover because it had not been used in so long???
They're extremely rude. StubHub staff told me it was my fault and cut me off and couldn’t explain how this happened, and told me up until 2 hours before the show that there was nothing they could do and I was not going to be refunded. We were 2 hours away from home and ready for the show with 2 teenage girls who were over the moon to see this band. Thanks to my bf buying more tickets they were able to see them. I will NEVER use StubHub again, and would like to know if this has happened to anyone else. It may be time for a group lawsuit if this is a common occurrence. I’m pretty sure it is. Contact me if you would like to start one with me, time to find the right attorney to take the case out of pure principle. Shady multimillion dollar companies should be put out of business.

I bought two tickets for Elton John, in the 4th row. I paid over $1,000 each for these tickets. When I got to the venue, I was told they were fraudulent tickets, and had been resold over 8 times that they knew of. The woman at the venue wrote "VOID" over my barcode and said there was nothing she could do. She said it happens every day. People are buying tickets from the venue, and reselling tickets again and again, and the first person to the venue with those tickets is the only one to be admitted to the show. Wow! I'd purchased one ticket from StubHub in the past, and had not had that experience.
I called StubHub right away, and they said they were sorry, and told me "this only happens about once a day." ONLY?!? Now I wasn't going to get to see the show, which was a farewell tour that would never happen again. After 19 minutes on the phone with Nick, a manager, I was assured that I would have a full refund within 48 hours, after they conducted an investigation into the matter. I don't know what the investigation had to do with me, but there was nothing I could do.
I contacted StubHub after the 48 hours had passed and I hadn't received my refund. Another employee told me that I should have never have been promised my money back within 48 hours. What?!? He told me that their investigation was complete, and I would be receiving my money within 5 days. So, after 8 days, I received my refund. I wonder how much interest StubHub made on my $2,000? Also fishy is the fact that StubHub is the "official" partner of Ticketmaster now. They need to figure out how to sell tickets only once! Stay away from this company, and every other seller of 2nd hand tickets!

I purchased 2 tickets to a futbol game over 5 months in advance. I planned my vacation around this purchase. When purchasing the tickets it took less than a few minutes so I had no idea what a nightmare was coming. I received confirmation numbers and could look at my account and purchase at will. I was able to set up delivery to my hotel and thought all was good. Then was notified by mail 2 months out that I needed a stadium pass that they do not sell in order for the seller to ship my tickets and if I didn’t have this pass I would forfeit my tickets and money. I knew I didn’t need it and after many phone calls was told I was wrong that it was policy.
I purchased the stadium passes from a separate ticket agency located in the country I had them delivered to the hotel. Once I got these stadium passes someone from Stub Hub international contacted me said that I was right that I did not need the pass and refunded my money. So again I thought I was back on track. Next a few weeks out I received another email making sure my hotel address was good and for me to confirm with the hotel that they will accept the tickets. I did all this. 3 days before the event I get a standard email saying my tickets purchased were canceled and I was refunded. No explanation.
I call service rep who says they can’t do anything and the stub hub guarantees can’t be followed because they already canceled the order. After going round and round I speak to a manager. He informs me that the prices now have gone up and I can just repurchase tickets My take is the seller realized a few days away from the game they could get more for the tickets and pulled out. Again the guarantee doesn’t apply. Lol my favorite part is they gave me a credit for future purchase. Like that will happen. Stay away. Customer service was awful from start to finish. And the so called guarantee is a joke.

On February 12, 2019, I purchased tickets for the February 23rd show of Aladdin in San Diego as a Valentine's Day present for my wife. The seats were in the orchestra section and, after adding in the inflated service fee and delivery charges, cost about $150 each. I paid for and downloaded the tickets. Eleven days later, and about five hours before the show, I received an email from Stub Hub customer service telling me the tickets I had purchased were "unavailable." No explanation was given, and no telephone number was provided to call. Instead, the email stated I would receive a link to "even better seats" as part of Stub Hub's fan guarantee. I waited several hours but the promised email did not arrive. Each time I checked online using the access code I was given, I reached a message stating my replacement tickets were still not yet available.
After searching, I was able to locate a telephone number for Stub Hub customer service, which I called about two hours before the show. The customer service rep blamed the sellers of the tickets, claiming the sellers of both my original and replacement tickets had failed to deliver them. The customer service rep was unable to satisfactorily explain how tickets I had downloaded eleven days earlier were now "unavailable." All he could say was that it appeared the tickets had been sold to multiple purchasers. Since the replacement tickets I had been promised were also "unavailable" all Stub Hub could offer me (now less than two hours before the show) were less desirable seats in the balcony.
After conferring with my wife, we decided to cancel the order. I was told I would receive a refund within five days, but haven't seen it yet. I told the customer service rep that Stub Hub had ruined the romantic evening my wife and I had planned, and that I will never purchased tickets from Stub Hub again.

StubHub just sent the tickets that I ordered to my old address. There is no way in their system to change your address. When I called to complain, my call was handled by a computer who kept trying to route my call to irrelevant departments ("Are you calling to buy a ticket or to sell a ticket?" -- neither: I simply want to update the address on my account, but neither that nor any general questions is an option for routing your call).
After spending 5 minutes sorting through this, I finally just told them that I was buying a ticket and got routed through to a rude "customer service" representative who simply hung up on me when he realized I wasn't buying a ticket and was quite angry about my whole StubHub experience. For this "service", I paid $80 in StubHub fees out of the total $300 cost of the tickets that I had ordered and that StubHub sent via UPS to the old address that I cannot change. The staff attempted to scan the tickets from 3 different scanners, and subsequently referred me to the Box Office for support. When I arrived at the Box Office I was told that they were unable to retrieve the ticket information from what Stub Hub provided via the app, (QR Codes instead of barcodes), and that according to their seating chart, the seats were already checked into. This meant I had to pay the admin fees and I was forced to re-list my tickets, luckily enough I re-sold these tickets, as such I will never see the tickets as they changed the address on my original order to that of my new buyer...
The hugely disappointing fact is they are not transferring the money owed to me until 5 after the event. This means that they still have my money and also my buyer's money for 5 months, this is completely unjustified. I understand that the original person listing the tickets shouldn't be paid until the event to ensure validity of the tickets... But in my circumstance it is unacceptable for them to hold onto this money. The sheer arrogance of the company and inflexibility is truly shocking. The event box office employee told us STUBHUB makes a habit of this practice. BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!
We called StubHub and were told the was nothing they could do. No offer to provide tickets for the correct night, no offer to refund the money, nothing.

I purchased 6 tickets for a concert, and received hard copy tickets through UPS. The night before the concert I looked for the tickets and couldn’t find them. I must of thrown them away by mistake. I called StubHub right away and they told me they would contact the seller to see if they would be able to send me an email with electronic tickets. Finally the next day after calling all morning about 4 times they told that they got in contact with the seller and that because they were hard copy tickets the seller wasn’t able to generate electronic tickets. I was mad and decided to purchase another 6 tickets, but the cheapest ones since I had the email with the seat numbers that I had purchased originally purchased.
So we go into the concert with the tickets I purchased and printed them out and go look for the seats that I first originally bought and the seats were taken. I asked one of the girls that was seating there that these were my seats and she showed me her tickets and they were sitting in the correct seats, which means they sold them twice. Because even if I lost the tickets they were not suppose to resale them. I put a complaint and got an email stating that based on their investigation they would not be able to refund me because the tickets were valid. Am so mad and will never do business with them again.

I tried to buy 2 tickets online, but kept getting an error message. I called StubHub to purchase the tickets, but the representative said those tickets were no longer available, even though it showed that they were on my end. She said the only seats available in the same section were $300 more than the price of the tickets I tried to purchase. I had to tell my grandson I couldn't take him, after I told him I would. I believe this is a scam. They post two very reasonably priced tickets that can't be purchased online and tell you they are no longer available so you buy higher priced tickets. I'm very unhappy. Will never do business with StubHub.

I ordered tickets "Tickets" on StubHub. NOT ELECTRONIC TICKETS OR ELECTRONIC DOWNLOADS. I specifically always select TICKETS to be delivered by UPS. Well my 2 tickets arrived and they are black and white copies of a PDF 8.5 x 11 inch black and white copies of tickets. I contacted StubHub who informed me these tickets are valid. I told them I ordered tickets not a PDF to specifically avoid PDF type tickets. I told them their own website states "When selling tickets on StubHub, you need to deliver them to the buyer the same way they're received from the primary issuer." Last time I checked PDFs are not mailed to anyone!! I am holding black and white copies of PDF tickets of which I did not order.
The tickets that were delivered to me from the seller violates StubHub's own policy. I have made 4 calls to StubHub regarding this issue. Three of the people I spoke to said they would contact the seller & days have past and no one has spoken to the seller. During my third call StubHub asked me to email them pictures of my bogus tickets and they were going to escalate it to some other department for validation. No one has ever got back to me ever on this matter. On my 4th call I asked them what was the outcome of my concerns they had escalated? Well you guessed it. They told me my black and white copies of the PDF are valid!!! I told them my tickets are copies and nothing prevents the holder of the originals from entering the venue. They then tell me about their fan Guarantee!!! If I can't get in just call them and they will provide me with other tickets. The event is Sold Out!
I told StubHub, "Let's be proactive. I am calling you now to avoid a problem the day of the show at the venue." They said no I will get in with my copies. On the PDF it reads one entry per this bar code. I then simply asked them to return my money and I would purchase additional "tickets" on their site for this show. StubHub said no! Now friends the venue is a 3 and half hour drive from my home. What should be a fun event is nothing but a worry to me. I am holding two of four identical bar coded tickets. Who will the winner be that night. Rather than have a pleasant evening maybe grab some dinner before the show I feel like I have to be the first guy in line to guarantee I get in.
Remember I did not even order this type of ticket yet a Black and White PDF is what I received and StubHub said it's okay with them. They make up the rules as they go. They don't care if my ticket is valid or even a duplicate as it is. I want to resolve the issue and they don't. They don't care about their clients and I have used them for a number of years! They are trying to contact the seller regarding my concerns and oh yes they told me they will get back to me after. Today is 4th call to them!!?

Ordered four tickets to an NHL game but the confirmation email came up with an error page saying a different email accepted the tickets. When I contacted customer support I was greeted then put on hold for 10 minutes. The process then repeated. I would talk to the representative for 5 minutes then be placed on hold for ten. An hour and a half later I'm informed they will need to call me back the next day. Two days later no callback but I instead receive a survey asking how well the representative fixed my issues. So I call again and am told that they can't help me because another agent already has notes open on the case and that they can only leave him a note. I will never use this service again and I will encourage everyone I meet to not use it as well.

I want to start by saying I have never written a negative review for any company, service, product, etc., and I’ve been trying very hard to hold back on writing one for StubHub. But, at this point I am BEYOND frustrated with their customer service. For more than a month now I have been going back and forth and back and forth over a $300 refund I am owed. On January 4, I was told that the refund was confirmed, and that I should expect to see it refunded to my PayPal account within 5 business days. More than a week passed and I still didn’t see anything in PayPal – and from there have been given the runaround for weeks. Every time I call, they “escalate” it and the person I finally land with tells me they can’t help me over the phone (including being able to provide me with a transaction number so that PayPal can help try to track it) and that I need to wait to speak with someone through email.
Then, every time I get an email it’s just a confirmation number of my refund and telling me it was processed on the 4th. No help whatsoever. Then, after weeks of going around and around and being told that perhaps it’s PayPal holding my funds (though, again they can’t provide me with a transaction number so that PayPal can check) today I get an email telling me that actually the money was NEVER refunded on their end and that they’re looking into it. I can’t help but wonder if this is a tactic by StubHub to avoid refunding a customer. Like, hoping that after me fighting this for so long that I’ll eventually give up. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced, hands down.

I've been in an ongoing battle with StubHub for the past 3 months with this company. In an attempt to make a long story short-ish; I sold 1 of my 4 NFL tickets through StubHub. The other 3 sold on Ticket Exchange, and the StubHub app wouldn't let me remove the listing. Within 30 seconds of selling on Ticket Exchange, I then received notice that it sold on StubHub. They had been sitting for days before this point, and ironically they sell on 2 sites within 30 seconds. Whether this happens to be a coincidence or not isn't for me to say.
I then called "Customer service" right away to tell them of my issue and that it's not possible for me to provide the tickets. I was then informed that there would be a 40% fee so they can replace the tickets with comparable ones. On the sale of these 3 tickets, I would've made a total of $364.50. StubHub in turn took that money to buy other tickets to replace mine (so no monetary loss to them). Even though I was told their policy is a 40% fee for not being able to provide the tickets, they in turn send me a charge in the amount of $413.85 in fees, and blocked the $121.50 that I would've made on the sale of my other ticket.
I tried numerous times to call and get any sort of information, but no one would give me straight answers. I requested to talk to anyone that could give me an answer of where these numbers are coming from, and the best I got was "someone might call you." I never received a call, only harassing emails about how they have not heard from me regarding the amount due, and they'll send me to collections if I don't pay. So after 6 calling attempts to find out any sort of information, I had to pay double what I would've made because they threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay immediately. Meanwhile StubHub purchased replacement tickets with the new buyer's money, charges me more than 100% of the amount of my tickets, and blocks my payment on an actual sale! It was an unbelievably terrible experience, and a complete SCAM! This company should be regulated better or just SHUT DOWN!

I went on to buy tickets for a show in New York. Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked on the wrong date. I called customer service IMMEDIATELY after buying the tickets to inform them I had clicked on the wrong day and I wanted to cancel. I explained that I wasn't even going to be around that weekend to accept the tickets that were being sent to me and it was going to be too late to resell the tickets once I did receive them. They still refused and the first customer service agent I talked to hung up on me. I understand their policy that they've already told the seller that the tickets were sold. However, I seriously doubt that the seller was able to run to the ship the tickets less than 5 minutes since I clicked buy on StubHub. I'm now going to buy the correct tickets that I wanted to buy unless that means I have to go through StubHub. I'd rather not go see the show after going through all that.

StubHub is a horrible company. Bought Bob Seger tickets months in advance. Printed tickets and they were invalid at two different doors. Pulled up the email for scanning and that was invalid as well. Tried to call StubHub at venue and no answer. The ticket box office tried our tickets as well. No success. They had many people around experiencing the same trouble. The box office made an announcement that lots of fraud is happening with third party sellers. People sell the same tickets over and over again or tickets were not real from the beginning. If there was a true valid ticket and it was sold numerous times, the first person to arrive at concert will get in the venue when scanned. All others will show invalid for the seats. Our credit card company issued credit and now StubHub is disputing trying to charge it back to us.

This company should be party to a class action lawsuit in my opinion. Be VERY careful listing your tickets with them. We attempted to list our tickets and after the final step no tickets showed, so we re-entered them thinking they had not successfully listed. Apparently they had sold so fast that they didn’t show. Seeing nothing listed we relisted them. They sold again. We were held financially responsible for them and they charged us $600 extra! The system should alert you and say “Hey! These tickets already sold from this seller!” StubHub has a responsibility to design a system that protects sellers from this. The manager hung up on me. So frustrating. We will never use this company again.

Last week I got the urge to go to the Elton John concert literally just days before his Portland concert. StubHub was the only source I could find. Bought two pretty good tickets. When we arrived at the gate we were told the tickets had already been scanned and were no good. We were directed to the Ticketmaster ticket office where they confirmed the tickets had been already scanned. They gave us a toll free number to StubHub customer service. The service agent that answered our call took our information and then immediately passed us onto a fraud agent. He was able to confirm our tickets where invalid. He suggested we get back into line and he was going to forward us new tickets, which he did.
He then stayed on the phone with us until we had been scanned in and on our way to our seats... and the seats were awesome! Better than what we had paid for, and more money but I wasn’t charged any additional. I of course had to “visit” our original seats which was filled with some tweakers that looked a little worried when I told em the Stubhub cops where looking for the people the tried to defraud them and me and it was gonna cost someone the price of my upgraded seats. Thank you very much! Overall they did what was necessary to make sure we made it into the concert and had good seats... Thank you.

My first StubHub experience went terribly, inconceivably wrong. I decided to blow my annual entertainment budget on 3 Elton John concert tickets this a.m., StubHub confirmed the order so off I went on my merry way. Hours later, during my lunch break, I happen to check email and find these words in an email from you, "Hi **, We found an issue after receiving the following order from your account. For your protection, we've cancelled this order and temporarily locked your account. Please contact us and we'll help you fix this."
What? WHAT?!? I frantically dialed the customer service number, where I spend the next 50 minutes talking with three different agents trying to figure out the problem (I never was told). The first two agents played the "let's put her on hold for a very, VERY long time and just see if she'll go away." So I was forced to hang up and call you a total of THREE TIMES before finding someone who would actually provide me customer service. Throughout my lengthy hold times, I get a 2nd email saying this, "Hi **, Thank you for choosing StubHub. I apologize for any inconvenience in placing your order. Our system thought there was an issue with your account and, for your protection, prevented the transaction from completing. We have updated our system; however, you will need to place a new order."
PLACE A NEW ORDER?!? I'm sure you all can imagine how this went... I log in to StubHub and look at available tickets. The ones I bought this a.m. are no longer available and the next cheapest (if you can call these cheap) are conveniently $25 more PER TICKET. On top of that, the service charge has suspiciously gone from the $24 I paid this morning to $50.81 PER TICKET. And agent #3 is more than happy to help me get those purchased now that YOUR system no longer thinks there's an issue. Quite a financially advantageous "system issue" you've got going and some very deplorable business practices you're engaged in, StubHub.

Last fall, I took my gf to NYC to see a show. Bought the tickets through StubHub because it was sold out. Traveling from Baltimore, we went up for the weekend. Hotel, dinners, etc ran about $1,000. Tickets were another $400. Got to the show and our tickets wouldn't scan. The box office said they were apparently double sold, and that it happens a lot with StubHub. StubHub gave me a refund and a credit of 20%, but the show was sold out, so our weekend was wasted.
I used that 20% credit to buy her Justin Timberlake tickets for Christmas. Spent $800 on 2 seats. Went to the venue, had dinner, a few drinks, stood in the security line, and guess what? Yup. Tickets had already been scanned by someone else. Double sold AGAIN. Fortunately, the show was not sold out and I was able to purchase tickets at the box office. I got seats one section over for $150 per ticket. Lol. StubHub once again refunded my money and issued a 20% credit on top of it. This time however, I want my hotel paid for too. If anyone wants a 20% credit for StubHub tickets, call me. I'll sell it to you for half price, along with some swamp land in Florida. DON'T EVER USE THIS SITE, unless you want to hold your breath standing in the security line to your event. Several days later, we never received any notification from StubHub on status of tickets and our listing disappeared. We unknowingly went to the game and thus were turned away since our tickets had been re-sold online via the "Barcode", rendering our actual paper tickets invalid. When I contacted StubHub, they denied any wrongdoing. Sariah from StubHub's Trust and safety team, explained our account was never hacked, and the listing for our tickets were taken down "one ticket at a time" and resold on Ticketmaster. She instructed me to deal with Ticketmaster direct, since they were the vendor whom sold the tickets and StubHub's hands were tied. I said I do not have an account with Ticketmaster and they would not be able to help.
She was unapologetic and irritated, and refused to give me the contact information of her supervisor. So I called Ticketmaster and surprise, surprise; they told me there was nothing they could do, given I posted my tickets on StubHub and StubHub should've notified me if the tickets were taken down. I purchased tickets through the venue vendor for the national volleyball tournament in Minneapolis. We fully intended to go. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to go. I waited until after the regional finals were completed to post the tickets on StubHub. I selected the flash ticket sale on the website because I have never had actual tickets that I could not electronically transfer. There was no description of what a flash sale ticket was. If I had chosen the hard ticket option, I wouldn't have been able to sell them. My tickets sold on the Wednesday prior to the event. I filled out all the paperwork as provided to me by StubHub.
I received an email later from Stubhub that said that the buyer had not yet received her tickets. I called the 800 number that they provided and the person from Stubhub said that I was stupid and I should have known that I was unable to transfer these as a flash transfer. How would I know that there was no description of what a flash transfer was and why I wouldn't be able to do that on the website. So I told her it was no problem that I would just overnight these to the buyer. I had the email of the buyer and reached out to her to sell these tickets. She sent me her address and I spent ANOTHER $80 to overnight these tickets to her so that she would receive them prior to 10:30 a.m. the next morning.
I ran out like a madman to get them to the UPS store before the deadline and I after I returned I got another email from StubHub that said that they had canceled my sale and that I was being fined $400.00 in addition to not being paid for my tickets. These tickets were over $600 each plus shipping. So now I am out $1700, considering the cost of my tickets, the fines and cost of overnight shipping. After the game on December 13th, the purchaser sends me an email requesting that I call her, which I do.
She tells me that StubHub send her an email canceling my order and selling her ANOTHER set of tickets (sale number 5 to her because all of the other tickets had the same problem mine did, they couldn't be flash transferred). She received a phone call from StubHub telling this buyer that I was a scam artist and was committing fraud on their site as I never had tickets to begin with, which was a lie and slander against me. She then received her sixth set of tickets because number five also couldn't be flash transferred and before she left for the tournament, my tickets were delivered to her overnight. She said she sold them at the tournament for me. I will NEVER do business with StubHub again.
Think of the windfall they received just from this one transaction. They received a $400 fine x 6 for all these sales transactions being canceled for their lack of ability to communicate and instead of sales commissions for the tickets. The original amount received would have been 6 x $120. Instead they received 6 x $400. I bought my boyfriend Toronto Maple Leafs tickets - Sec 120, Row 2. This was for his birthday. To be honest, I was extremely nervous purchasing these tickets because they're SO EXPENSIVE, almost double the retail price and there were a ton of negative reviews and I was afraid I'd get fake tickets and get denied at the door. My best friend purchased tickets from StubHub before and told me they're pretty legit and never had a problem. I took a huge gamble on these and bought the tickets for $500 each. The day of the game, I was literally shaking in fear and prayed the tickets were real and they would scan properly and thank God THEY DID!
My boyfriend had the best time at the game. We were so close to the rink and the player's bench, we even fist pumped each player as they were going in and out of the rink. Thank you seller/StubHub. We had such an incredible experience! For anyone thinking of buying tickets from StubHub I would still be a little bit careful only because there are sellers out there that scam people which is unfortunate. But the good thing is StubHub provides their customers with the Fan Protection plan meaning if you ever run into any trouble with your tickets they can either find you a replacement OR a refund. So there's that to consider. Good luck!

Now they claim that they have figured it out, it's December 21st 2018. Still no results. I have lost tickets I wanted 3 times now. This company does not give a damn. The associate I spoke with admitted error and assured me they would reimburse. Next day however another individual gave a circular argument insisting it was my fault. Maybe for the best as I had grown tired of their extortionate fees and am ready to move on. If you are a seller look elsewhere. These people do not value loyalty. Can you not give zero stars?

We listed our NCAA tickets on Stubhub and were offered two options - paper tickets or Flash Seats. Although I had paper tickets the time to sell part was past so I researched Flash Seats. I located the venue and found that you could convert paper to flash seats at Target Center which was where the event was. I listed the tickets as flash seats. My tickets sold and I went to transfer via flash seats. When I did this my transaction was denied and I soon found out NCAA restricts flash seat conversions.
Ok so I call StubHub and ask how I can get the tickets to the buyer. Historically they had a drop site downtown for paper tickets similar to Will call so they could verify the tickets were picked up and voila you get paid. They said they no longer do that and since I couldn’t deliver the tickets they would cancel the sale - no problem. The transaction was very cordial and polite. 24 hours later I get a charge on my credit card for $396 for a canceled sale. They said they had to buy the person other tickets but other tickets were available for much cheaper.
I inquired and found out you are charged the cost to buy the new tickets or 40% of the list price whichever is GREATER. This was an honest mistake and I was willing to do whatever it took to get the tickets to the buyer. This is a scam - of course they got rid of their drop locations because they make more money this way. Nowhere was this enormous penalty disclosed (well I have been told it is in the fine print). It certainly wasn’t disclosed over the phone when they told me no big deal we will just cancel the sale. I have canceled my account and will never use them - there are lots of ticketing resale vendors.

So seller beware, it's probably buried somewhere in their user agreement that they can charge you 40-100% of the sale if the buyer has a problem with the tickets, regardless of whether the tickets prove to be totally valid. I bought two sets of tickets, 2 & 2 from StubHub for $100 ea. $400 total. Because they require you to "Accept the tickets" as like a double opt-in, I did not receive the actual tickets until the day of the event. So StubHub took my $400, I knew I couldn't attend so I listed all of the tickets for sale on their site. No one could bid or buy on them because I had not accepted them (but I had paid for them), so I kept dropping the price. Once I accepted the tickets day-of they were sold immediately for 1/2 of what I had paid. Loss of $100.
The other 2 tickets, I decided not to accept them because I didn't want to take a bath on those too. But StubHub informed me that because they sent an accept email, despite allowing me to list them for sale but not accept bids... that I am out that $200. A total loss of $300 for an event I did not attend. They can’t get others, and after an argument, agree to send me a full refund. They follow up with an email confirming same. Next day, I get confirmation of a credit to my account, HOWEVER, it is for less than 50% of the cost with no explanation. I had called twice yesterday to see why. The first person after going through the process/discussion, says someone in the ‘claim’ department would have to call me back later. After no response from them, I call back. Same runaround, nothing but passing the buck and avoidance of answering questions. Finally, get a ‘manager’ on the phone. He gives me some excuse about needing to investigate the incident.
Keep in mind that they have already given me written notice that they will give me a 100% refund, and nowhere in that notice does it say there is any further investigation. He then says he has to be fair to their customer, the seller, who provided the invalid/fraudulent tickets. That is ridiculous to me, as I too am the customer, and I was the one that was deprived of the goods they were sold with a 100% ‘guarantee’. Oh, and by the way, we know we told you that the claim department would be calling you back shortly, but they don’t work weekends! The longer process begin with the system kept kicking us out when we got to the final step to purchase, two when we got past that step the system was stating the tickets were no longer available to purchase. At this point we decided to call StubHub customer service to see if we could get this issue resolved. Lo and behold the customer Representative was having an issue as well. A different one. At this point we're on the phone another hour attempting to purchase these tickets. Once the Representative was able to get into his system and locate the tickets we were trying to purchase the price amount had changed.
In attempt to keep the price the same we had to literally pleas with the representative. After another 30 mins of being on hold he final came back and stated that he could change the service back to the original price. For the long inconvenience it was asked per a family member could the service fee not the ticket amount be waived. His response was no. A superior was asked for, his response to this request was that "I can get you one but, he will tell you the same the answer." We found it very odd that this representative could answer on the behalf of his authority.
Again, we were put on hold waiting for a supervisor, the Representative returned and stated one was not available and did we want to proceed with our purchase of over 1900.00. At this point we are frustrated, once the purchase was made, it just so happened a Superior was "NOW" AVAILABLE. Needless to state the supervisor response to this entire issue was the same as the Representative. In the end we did not get anything accomplished and we walked away being very dissatisfied with the service provided to us. We got to the show with our %100 guaranteed tickets and found people in our seats. We were told that their tickets were valid as well, and they arrived first, so we were out of luck.
The helpful staff at the theater tried to assist but they were sold out. Since that time I have, very patiently, tried to work out a resolution with StubHub. While they did refund our tickets, that is simply not good enough. This was beyond disappointing or inconvenient. It completely ruined our trip, and honestly was damaging personally and emotionally to both of us. StubHub refuses to provide Hamilton tickets, even to closer venues like NYC or Boston, or to compensate us in any way for our expenses. It is clear they place no value on the experience of the customer. From my e-receipt confirming my ticket purchase:

"Though highly unlikely, if you have any problems with the tickets or the venue, give us a call right away." "Remember, you're fully covered by our FanProtect Guarantee." Well, based on my experience, I never got to my seat, they were not at all helpful, I did call them right away, and their "FanProtect Guarantee is garbage. StubHub gave me the UPS label to print use for shipping which I did right away for overnight delivery. The day after the tickets were delivered, StubHub called me and told me the buyer had misplaced the tickets and asked me to see if I could get reprints made. I reached out to see if reprints could be made and was told the reprints would be made available at the venue and that I just needed to pick them up at will call and show ID. I notified StubHub that I could get the reprints for the buyer. They then told me the buyer had not actually lost the tickets but had them sent to the wrong address and they told him to try to locate them.
Then I was contacted again by StubHub 2 days before the show, at which time they told me they could not arrange for me to meet the buyer to provide him with the reprints as it was against their policy. The concert came and went and I never picked up the reprinted tickets. About a week after the show StubHub contacted me saying the buyer had gone to the show and the tickets did not work. Apparently the buyer had been able to locate the tickets but they did not work as they were canceled when the reprints were made.
No matter how much I talked with StubHub they would not take any blame for the issue - I lost the sale of the tickets as well as StubHub penalized me approximately $250. According to them it was my fault for actually getting the reprints and causing the original tickets for getting canceled. I lost about $750 total. After contacting customer service, I was told that "the prices change whether you click save or not." When I asked why there was a save button if the price saves either way, I got nothing but attitude from them. I waited 6 hours for the seller to transfer tickets and then called StubHub and asked if I could purchase instant download tickets instead. This is counter to the terms they advertise (tickets that day) and horrendous customer service. In addition to the many online stories that suggest mobile transfer is often scammed, I believe this approach sets up sellers to hunt for the highest prices for a ticket, holding out on delivery for a day. StubHub could be a strong company if both buyers and sellers were protected against fraud. Instead, the burden of liability placed on sellers - with limit of only 48hrs to investigate and resolve any fraud claim (such as a claim that a ticket didn’t work), irrespective of whether seller at fault. Inexplicably, StubHub fails to recognize their long term viability hinges on their ability to serve two clients - both buyer and seller.
Thus sellers beware! You can easily end up on hook for both the price of your tickets and punitive damages. In my case, I resold 3 tickets I’d purchased on a reputable site. Weeks after the show, StubHub informed me the buyer claimed tickets did not work & I had 48 hrs to resolve! Didn’t matter that I was out of state, at a funeral and unable to personally investigate. StubHub refused one week extension, instead charging my credit card ~$1,000 (including $500 service fee for their trouble). At best, unprofessional and unethical business practices... Possibly illegal?

Never use StubHub... I purchased two tickets on StubHub to attend an EPL game. Upon arriving to the UK, I learned the tickets were sent to an address that wasn’t correct (even though it was registered mail and signed for by someone) as there was one letter wrong on the address. After numerous phone calls (which was a pain because I purchased the tickets on the international website but they don’t have an inbound number) and emails to StubHub they outlined it was my fault for having one letter wrong in the address and didn’t provide any alternatives, information or a refund (which by my reading of their own policy goes against it). Pretty much they outlined it was bad luck! The end result was that I paid for the tickets ($400+) and didn’t get to go to the game which was obviously very disappointing as I traveled to London just for this game!

I used Stubhub.co.uk for the first time to book tickets for my boyfriend's birthday to see Andrea Bocelli concert at the O2. When I received the electronic tickets I was concerned they were fakes as they did not look like typical O2 tickets and called StubHub to confirm. They assured me these were genuine tickets from Amex VIP and sold by an established seller. You can imagine my surprise when we turned up at the venue to be told that another couple had used the same tickets and that these had clearly been sold at least twice thereby voiding ours!
I had to purchase new tickets from the O2 and was seated in a 'crisis box' along with other victims of this type of fraudulent behavior. Apparently this is common especially for sold-out events - how can this be allowed to happen? I have filed this with incident with action against fraud and obtain a crime reference number - hopefully StubHub's fan guarantee will compensate me in full. Sellers like that should be struck off their list. This was the first and last time I will use this service. Always buy direct from the official vendor!

StubHub claimed to have the very difficultly available tickets, so I paid almost 9x more than the official price was just to be sure to come into the concert. In reality, they didn't have any tickets and didn't deliver them at all. Moreover, they were reassuring me all the months of sending me the tickets in time, which lead us to organize a trip from Prague to Amsterdam where the concert was held. The announcement that they won't deliver the tickets came first in the moment we already were in Amsterdam - hotel and journey paid... A few hours before the concert. Now… I WAS about to leave a negative review on Google about my experience but reading other people’s negative experiences on Google, I saw that StubHub had been reaching out to customers and asking them to contact them via Facebook and Twitter to resolve the issue, so that’s what I did. I instant messaged StubHub on Facebook and I received a response less than 5 minutes later. I told them my situation and how the customer rep I spoke to on the phone wouldn’t help me with my order and they told me not to worry, they would apply the 10% off NBA promo code as well as my gift card and refund me the difference in charges back to my credit card. THANK YOU STUBHUB!!! I almost lost all faith in you but now I am at ease. This time I received GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Original Review: Nov. 2, 2018
I saw on the StubHub website that they were advertising a 10% off promo for NBA games so I decided to finally pull the trigger on a NBA ticket purchase. I downloaded the StubHub app, added the clutch-10 promo code at checkout, it said $20 off, I saved and checked the box to include it. Also added my $200 StubHub gift card that I received as a gift, checked that box and saved it onto my order and submitted my payment. 2 days later I check my credit card statement and I see that StubHub has charged the whole ticket purchase onto my credit card and neither the 10% off promo or my gift card balance was applied to the order.
I call the customer service phone number to let them know of my situation and the rep basically told me I was a liar and that I never added the promo code or my gift card to my order and I was out of luck, they couldn't do anything about it, all sales final. They offered to list my ticket for sale so I could get my money back with the service fees waived. They wanted me to list the tickets for $70 cheaper than what I paid total for them. I told the rep I would be LOSING money if I sold them for that price and that he just stated 10 seconds earlier that I would get my money back if I sold them on their website. You've got to be kidding me.

I had purchased tickets to a concert on September 24, 2018 but when I saw better tickets on StubHub for another date I bought them and attempted to sell my original ones online. I posted them to a few sites and when they sold on a competitor's site and took them off all of the other sites. I double checked StubHub later (to make sure I hadn't missed any of the sites) and there were no tickets listed under the "selling" section.
Months later I received a phone call and email that I needed to upload my sold tickets (a few days before the concert date but months after they supposedly “sold”). I contacted StubHub to clear up any confusion. Not only had I removed my tickets, but I also had no idea that they had ever sold there. He told me that he would be charging me 40 percent of the ticket price as a penalty but that he would contact a manager to clear up the matter. He never did. I called back and was told the same thing again. Someone left a message but debited my account before ever speaking to me. A difference in price, or the standard fee that StubHub would receive on my sold tickets would have been reasonable. StubHub had the opportunity to sell cheaper tickets, get the standard cut, then charge me almost ½ the price of my tickets.
StubHub makes more money off customers through manipulative or deliberately deceptive practices than they do through legitimate business practices. StubHub makes it deliberately difficult for users in order to make it easier to collect additional money from them. (I got no reminder emails that the tickets had sold until a week before the event. I still have not seen the selling email. Perhaps I overlooked it but I’m not certain it exists.) There are a VARIETY of buying and selling sites other than StubHub. Stub Hub may have better advertising, or a closer connection with Ticketmaster, but they are not the only reselling site. People need to be made better aware of this so that StubHub cannot continue this way.
StubHub does not value their customers. (As a repeat buyer and first time seller, I was not respected, valued or treated courteously. At no time was any effort made to work with me on my issue.) Money was debited from my account without ever having a follow-up conversation. Since these tickets were sold out instantly on the venue site, but available in great quantity on the StubHub website, your practices are already suspect. There are SO MANY other reselling sites. Don't use this one.

Tickets were purchased for me as a gift - prior to the date of the tickets being available for presale. Didn’t have a good feeling about that. As event date got closer, I continued to monitor the ticket status as they were going to be shipped. On the date that the tickets were promised to have arrived and still no tickets, contacted StubHub customer service who confirmed that there was no tickets shipped. Offered a better ticket for the same price of the original sale. Why would I do that since I could purchase a ticket in the same row and same section AND save over $200 PER ticket?
The tickets purchased were already great seats! Told customer service we wanted a refund instead. The agent said no problem. Now, we wait to see if the credit card of the person who made the purchase is actually refunded in 3-5 days like she said. StubHub should monitor their program better and the “person” who we were purchasing the tickets from should not be able to sell through them any longer.

I thought that this was simple/somewhat fair fix to a mistake made by StubHub. However, the representative failed to tell me that I wouldn't get refunded for my initial purchase of fraudulent tickets. I now understand how their business model works and it is fascinating! If you buy fraudulent tickets off their website and arrive to the event with those tickets, you either have to skip the event and call it a day or pay double the price you were supposed to in order to get worse seats. I accidentally listed tickets incorrectly on StubHub (listed them as a 2 day pass instead of just 1 day). Totally my bad, but an honest mistake. Someone purchased them, and then realized I listed them wrong. StubHub called me, we canceled her order IMMEDIATELY, and she was never charged for the tickets. StubHub told me I might be charged 40% of the total listing price as a penalty (INSANE), which worked out to about $55. I was really upset - that is a huge cost for what seemed like a small mistake. However, when all was said and done, I ended up being charged $153!!!! ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE DOLLARS. What?
When I called to find out why, they told me they had to buy her the 2 day pass, even though she never paid me for the tickets & we handled everything before any transactions ever went through. I know I made a mistake, but this is an insane fee/penalty structure. Plus, they were not honest about what the penalty could be (only told me it would be 40%). Moral of the story... I have proof from the Director of ticketing that my tickets were never scanned, they are simply taking the buyer's side. Furthermore, the festival where my tickets were already scanned, has a policy that you can enter and exit up to three times a day. They scan you in and out. This argument makes zero sense. My theory, the buyer lost my tickets. Called StubHub right before and lied to get new ones. I've spent countless hours emailing and calling them and they are worthless. I used StubHub 3 times. First time was for BTS in Seoul. I was still in China so it was a slight hassle. I was quite worried that I would not get my tickets in time 'cause I had to go to Seoul. (The hard copies will only be sent to the original buyer a week ahead to lessen the chances to resell, so that's why). In the end I got a mail, asking to provide the address in Roman characters as I put it in Chinese. Afterwards, they recommended me to pick them up at a point near the venue because of Chinese customs taking often too long. Well, that's what I did. No issues at all and got my shipping fee back in a few days. Second time, for BTS in Seoul again, also just picked up my tickets, as it was the following day already.
Third time was a mess. Tickets for the BTS exhibition (I think you can guess by now I'm a fan of BTS). Basically, you had to show your ID and confirmation to get the actual tickets. I got the ID scan as well as the confirmation, but staff refused to give me the ticket, 'cause reselling is forbidden. Messaged StubHub, and they said I needed proof of rejection. Staff didn't want to help me, because what I did was wrong. (Fair, but too many tickets were scalped so I couldn't get one in the proper way). I told StubHub I couldn't get a proof of refusal, but they kept saying I had to in order to get the money back. They said an e-mail of a refusal of giving a proof of rejection was enough.
Well, if they don't want to help me at all, they would just ignore me anyway, is what I was thinking. I was on holiday, didn't want to spend too much time at that moment trying to get it, but before I was home and tried to e-mail them, I got my money back already. I guess Stub realized I spent over €800 on their site, so why would I suddenly make up a story about not getting in at a €22 event, rather than a €400 event. In the end, they even gave me a €22 voucher for further purchases. So although it was a hassle the last time, I'm very satisfied!

I called back the next day again and after about 45 minutes they told me my tickets were no longer available but that they would provide me with replacement tickets of similar value.
At this point the tickets had gone up in price and their "same value" tickets were not even close to the same tickets that I had purchased. They kept offering tickets that they were calling comparable, which they were not. My original tickets were one section right of the 50-yard line and 8 rows back and the comparable tickets they were offering were obstructed view tickets in the same section or tickets 3 sections right of the 50-yard line and 25 rows back.
After an hour and half of arguing with them and getting nowhere I asked for a refund of my money, which I still don't know who they could have charged me in the first place if they had not secured tickets for me at the time of purchase. I ended up buying tickets on a different website and had to pay more since they were not truthful with me on the day that I first tried to "buy" tickets and did not tell me the tickets were not available. Stub Hub's "100% Guaranteed...Because 99% Guaranteed just sounds sketchy" slogan is exactly THAT... Sketchy! Buyer Beware! I guess an Order Date, Order #, Row, Seat #'s, confirmation emails, and credit card charges mean NOTHING to Stub Hub. I am a customer no more!

Stubhub do not guarantee tickets at all. They will take your money and tell you that you will have a ticket by the time the event comes around. The guarantee? A refund? Who the hell wants a refund the day before a concert! These guys are jokers. I am flying across the world for this concert and they won't give me a refund. Other sites have instant download options for this concert but I have to wait until the last minute to know if I am going or not. Other sites are cheaper too! I really regret going with Stubhub. I asked them for a refund and they told me they wouldn't do it. Now I just have to wait and see if I am actually going to a concert I am flying across the world to see. There are other resale sites and I strongly suggest you use them instead.

I received confirmation the same day and waited for my transfer ticket email. 24 hrs later...no email. Called customer service everyday for 3 days. The first 2 service people were patient and kind. They sent emails to the seller, no response either day. The last service person was rude and all but called me a liar when I told her I hadn't received the email. The seller lied and told her I had not accepted them...makes no sense whatsoever. He didn't send the tickets and why on earth wouldn't I accept them?! Purchased a StubHub e-gift card as a birthday present for my little sister last night. Paid online, received my confirmation email from StubHub, received alert from my credit card company that I had been charged for the purchase. All good, right? No, not all good. In fact, it has been a total disaster thanks to StubHub. Awoke this morning to find an auto-generated email from StubHub saying they canceled my order. No explanation nor forewarning.
Have had a StubHub account for years and it contains all of my current contact information, but StubHub never bothered to reach out and confirm that I had, in fact, authorized a legitimate purchase before they canceled it (after I had already been billed for the transaction). The automated cancellation email from StubHub provided no contact number, no reason for the cancellation (other than a blanket reference to "security") and no indication of how long it will take for my money to be refunded to my credit card. Meanwhile, I am out the money and I have no gift card to show for it.
After I finally tracked down a contact number through my own research (i.e., Google search) and phoned StubHub, the situation simply went from bad to worse. One rep just refers you to another rep, another number to call. You call the other number and they refer you back to the original number you called. I was told four (4) hours ago that someone from StubHub would contact me about the issue. As you can probably guess, I am still waiting for that call. Safe to assume I'll never hear from StubHub as they seem incapable of dialing a phone.
Anyway, total runaround from StubHub. Customer service is abysmal and borderline nonexistent. Reps are clueless. They can apologize for the inconvenience STUBHUB HAS CAUSED and that's pretty much the extent of their "assistance." I will file a dispute with my credit card company since I don't think StubHub can be trusted to return my money since they have failed to provide an ETA regarding a full refund. Never again with StubHub. They do not take responsibility nor assume accountability for the problems they create. BUYER BEWARE!

Purchased tickets for the New England Patriots vs Eagles pre-season game. Found the game, selected the seats, purchased the tickets and then I received an e-mail saying I have purchased tickets to the New England Revolution soccer game. I called StubHub within minutes of my purchase to explain what happened and was told there is nothing that can be done. My only option was to try to sell my tickets. I was nice and asked to speak to a manager, but all the employees at StubHub do is read from a book and repeat the same thing over and over.
So basically, my only options were to go to the soccer game, which I don't even like soccer, try to sell my tickets (which no one is going to buy over $100 worth of soccer tickets to a game that isn't sold out) or lose my money... which I did. Tried to dispute the charge with my bank, however StubHub denied my claim, stating that "they tried to help me sell my tickets". Seriously, will never purchase from this site again. First and last time! Now that I am writing this review I see this has happen to multiple people. StubHub is just a scam. Wish I could give them a - rating.

I reached out again and they said that my sale has been canceled and the buyer has been refunded. This happened without any e-mail or any confirmation so if I hadn't contacted them I wouldn't even know.
They said my account is being reviewed for suspicious activity and couldn't even tell me what that means. I was very surprised as I have not done anything wrong. I just got an extra ticket for a concert and was trying to sell it. Obstructed views for these seats that are listed on the Husker.com webpage were not disclosed during ticket transaction on StubHub.com. When StubHub was notified via telephone, they indicated if the school itself considered these obstructed view tickets, then a refund would in fact be issued. Both myself and the representative located the information on the Husker website, yet suddenly they were not able to issue a refund until verified with the university.
Not sure how much more verification you need if the information is clearly listed on the University of NE athletics page. I requested an immediate refund so I could purchase tickets in a different area and was told I'd be contacted once the case if reviewed. The refund should have been issued immediately after confirmation that University indicated the seats were obstructed. Game is in less than 48 hrs and they aren't concerned about making this right.

Long story short, went to the windows to get the rest of my tickets (as told by StubHub) and let me tell you by then we have already missed the whole first half of the event, got to the gate, the first mobile ticket the guy scan was already used by someone else!
Thank God the guy saw my frustration after I told him the situation and he let me in. They said to send them back and they gave me four tickets in a better spot that cost about $700 per ticket which they did not make me pay for. So far, so good. The tickets were due to arrive by UPS on 8/28.
On 8/29, I called CS and was told the seller reneged and they were refunding my money since no groups of four were left. I said I want tickets not money, and I checked different days and found them. After numerous calls and different people, I was finally allowed to get a swap for tickets on 9/6 that were not as good as either sets of tickets which I tried to buy. There were four tickets available on 9/6 in an almost identical location and price as the replacement tickets (the ones that were reneged upon), but I was told over and over that StubHub's policy is to only replace tickets if available the same day.
One of the people on the phone admitted to me that StubHub gets a 40% fee from sellers that do not deliver! At least two other agents did not deny this when I mentioned it. I got an email that said they were going to this old address. I immediately called to inform them that was not my current address. They said they would change the address on file and resend the tickets. I called a total of five times in the 6 weeks to come and had to change my address each time. On the 5th call I finally talked to a supervisor "Javier **" who found out the tickets were yet sent again to the old address.
These people are completely incompetent. He tried to tell me that I did not change my default address. Your tickets will be valid for entry. Your tickets will be the same as those you ordered. If any of these things do not occur and you comply with applicable policies and timelines, we will find you comparable or better tickets to the event, or offer you a refund or credit for use on a future purchase." I would give StubHub negative stars if that was an option. They are an online scam that charges extraordinarily high surcharge fees for any activities. This review is based on my attempt to resell a ticket on their website which I had initially purchased from them. I had bought 3 soccer game tickets for my daughter, husband and me. My daughter is a sophomore soccer player and my husband a soccer coach so this event was intended to be a birthday gift to these August babies. It turns out that we had a conflict so I tried to resell the tickets back on StubHub.
First, they suggested that I sell the tickets at $100 each. I initially paid $388 for each Coaches Club ticket so that suggestion was absurd and a poor attempt at online robbery. I decided to sell them at $325 but I would receive less than that given the additional surcharge StubHub charges for the resale. I unexpectedly sold only 1 ticket and was concerned that we would be left with only 1 ticket so I took the last 2 tickets off the market at the last minute and we rearranged our personal schedules to attend the game. When we went to the stadium, the agent scanned the ticket from my phone and I even asked my husband how do they know which ticket to not scan? A week later, a rude StubHub representative called me to tell me that it was my fault for not scanning the correct ticket so they are charging me for the full ticket and an ADDITIONAL $70 penalty fee. In essence, I paid $500 for a ticket that was not used by my daughter.
I asked to speak with a StubHub manager, and she told me that there was not one available. I then told the StubHub representative that their online system is very flawed if they did not disable the ticket I sold and they allowed more than one person to have the same seat scanned. It is not my fault that the stadium agent scanned the wrong ticket from my phone.
My lesson is to never use StubHub ever again, and I want to publicize what an online scam they are. The representative refused to tell me her name, and she was arguing with me online. She was being extremely vindictive and it is not fair to a retail consumer like me to be yelled at online and then robbed from my account since they have access to my personal information including my credit card. This is online robbery that must be investigated as soon as possible, and there must be a stop to this. I will dispute this charge and refuse to pay for a mistake that is not mine.

Since I wanted to go to the game I first asked to see the comparable tickets. Within minutes I was offered center field, better-valued tickets than I had purchased (I had bought 3rd-row sideline, these were center field, row 31 - about a 10 dollar difference in price). They mentioned that they tried to reach out but I never once received an email or a call - my email, phone number, and even my personal address is on there. I felt terrible for the person who had bought the tickets, and if I had known that the tickets sold, I would have definitely transferred the tickets immediately.
StubHub went on to say that it was my fault for not monitoring the site - even though I had logged on and did not receive any notification or alert that my tickets sold. I spoke with SAMANTHA and CURTIS on August 1st, 2018. Both were very rude, and had attitude problems, and needless to say - very unhelpful. They told me it was my fault and that they would not reimburse me for the charge, even though I did not receive any email or any alert from them that my tickets sold. Needless to say, I will not be using StubHub again. ZERO STARS. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER.

They did not pay me the amount for 2 tickets I sold, and the only explanation I receive was that I had a penalty of previous cancelled sell, for which I was never notified. The cancelled sell I had to cancel it via mail because their international website had a glitch that did not allow me to pause or stop the advertising of the tickets. To my email they only told that they will find different tickets for the customer, but that was all the communication.
Two months later I was waiting for the payment of the tickets I sold, but they just said you will not receive payment because previous penalization, but to the date I have no notification of any penalties or the amount I supposedly owe. So, they just charged me x amount of money the day they have to pay me other sell, for the exact amount they have to pay me that day. All of this, without a single notification. Do not use them, the is another company that have lower prices for buyers and pays the sellers without delay after the even so VIA GO GO there instead for selling or buying.

I uploaded 2 .jpg tickets to Zac Brown concert at Citi Field Flushing New York the morning of the event and 9 hours before the event was to start. I have several emails and acknowledgment from StubHub that my tickets were accepted later on that they were sold and later on that the tickets were given to the buyer. Approximately 10 hours later and 30 minutes after the event that started I received a cancellation from StubHub stating my ticket images were improperly uploaded?
I was not offered any compensation. I contacted customer service after waiting an hour on hold and was told there was nothing I could do is that the fine print clearly stated they had to be uploaded a certain way. I informed the customer service rep that my images were accepted hours later they were purchased and hours later they were transferred to the buyer. Had I known this in the morning I could have easily uploaded the correct version or whatever version they were looking for?
Any other public site that requires images to be uploaded will reject them if they're not proper. Not only am I stuck with two tickets that cost me $577 I'm out to 300 plus dollars they were sold for on StubHub and offered no compensation. I could have easily corrected the problem long before the event started or sold them elsewhere. Not only am I left holding the bag but I was told by the customer service rep that the buyers were left stranded outside the event and unable to get in with their printed copies.
This is a company that specializes in re-sales of Concert and Event tickets and there is no better method to verify proper ticket upload? If I were to upload a picture to print at the local Walgreens, it would kick it back if it was improper so you can't tell me they don't have software for this when this is all that they do? Here I am now two hours after the event started, left with nothing, no apology and "too bad you can't even speak to a supervisor " and then I was hung up on. How could you possibly run a business like this?

I purchased tickets to a concert for $281.90 - I then saw the charge on my credit card, except it was for $380.28. When I contacted the chat line for help, they said the ticket prices are in US dollars, but nowhere on the receipt or confirmation page before confirming my purchase did it say this. I spoke to a supervisor who came out guns blazing before I could even explain the issue. She told me the USD pricing is noted on the front page when you're first looking at tickets. I confirmed this and said, "Yes it is, but in small writing." Why is it not on the receipt? She could not answer that. And when I explained how shocked I was to see an extra $100 charge on my credit card because they neglect to put USD on their receipts or warn customers of the exchange costs, she was fake and told me, "I'm sorry you can't read." She offered no help, no refund. I will never purchase tickets from this site ever again.

An absolute nightmare. StubHub has a terrible website function and has cost me hundreds of dollars in lost work time and ticket sales owing to poor customer service and glitches in their system. I would absolutely never list tickets here again. I had several NFL tickets to sell for the 2018 season. At first the site erred in listing only ONE ticket for sale, although I had listed two tickets for six games, using the electronic bar codes. I discovered that error purely by accident, but it cost me money in lost sales. They told me to relist. I did, and then they removed the listings as ALREADY LISTED.
We tried again. It appeared the tickets were listed. Except they were not. No, after two weeks StubHub arbitrarily UNLISTED the tickets, and DID NOT INFORM ME OF THIS. Yet more money lost. I called to try to resolve the problem. No luck. The StubHub customer service rep was snippy, nasty, and condescending. And, ultimately, she could not solve the problem. She was going to punt it up to their "technical support" team to resolve "within 24 hours." NFL tickets cost thousands of dollars. Because of the absolute incompetency of StubHub, I lost many opportunities for sales, and spent an entire morning--actually more than one--trying to resolve the problem. And they couldn't even SOLVE THEIR OWN TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY! LIst ANYWHERE but StubHub. And DEBACLE in online ticket sales.

I purchased two tickets for about $100 each at the last minute for a concert. Next thing I see are service fees adding up to $61.84. Then they included an $11.90 "discount". Gee thanks. There is no reason for "service" fees to be so high. I spoke with an agent and he basically said if the ticket is in demand, the fees are higher. So it's a nice big fat cash grab for StubHub. They are obviously extremely greedy. They know suckers will pay if the act is in demand. I was close to cancelling, but I promised my son we'd see the show. I'm done with StubHub.

I tried StubHub to buy tickets for concerts for me and my family. I thought it worked well and I had great experiences. That was ten years ago. Fast forward to today: I was "window shopping" for tickets for a concert in another state as a surprise for my son. The two day concerts, same venue and band, were not sold out on the band's site. So I was looking around to see what was available. I X-ed out of the StubHub website and immediately saw an email from StubHub "Congrats! You purchased the tickets?" WHAT?! So I immediately live chatted SH Customer Service. The rep asked me how I was looking -- using phone app? Computer? She said "depending on how you were looking at the website, I can help you".
I figured they must have issues with their apps, but I was honest and told the truth: I had been looking at the site on my home computer/desktop. But I had NO idea how something I had been only looking at became a PURCHASED item? (I was not even sure at that point my son could go). She then said "So here's what I can do! I can re-list those for you!" I went around and around with her... questioned why she asked me what method I was looking at the website… Nada. No use. Nothing they could do and nothing I could do. I was stuck with the tickets that I was not even sure I could use and that I KNOW I did NOT PURCHASE. Confused, I accepted the fact that I had the tickets and I told my son-- who was beyond excited.
So, night two of the said concert and I texted my son to send me a picture of him and his friends at the show. He texted back that he was having a blast but "the tickets he received in the mail did not work". I asked him what he meant and how he got into the show. He told me that upon being scanned the tickets read on the scanner "STOP. VOID! SHORT BAR CODE". 1. I was mad that he had not told me that so I could call StubHub and raise holy heck (the tickets were over $100 EACH) and 2. I was so angry that I had not even WANTED these tickets and now there was a major problem with them and my son had to get in without being able to see them!
I immediately live chatted STUBHUB because it was almost midnight Sunday and offices were closed. The rep said they would need to talk to me on the phone. She said someone would call me within 24 hours. 24 hours came and went. I was determined to see how long it would take for someone to call me back. It is now Tuesday and I just received an email asking me to complete a form saying the tickets I received were not able to be used. I am beyond disappointed. My experiences back in 2009, 2011, etc were so good and now this happened and... reading here all the other similar stories, it makes me sad and angry. But, smarter too! I won't use StubHub again. Too risky and not a good enough site. BUYER BEWARE!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM STUBHUB!!! It's my fault for confirming the order when I had doubts while placing it, I own my part but the way the tickets were worded read Parking Passes Only Willie Nelson Tickets, the price would be the cost of both and it listed 1 under tickets that read GA (did not read Parking). I assumed it was for General Admission. The seller knew what they were doing when posting the tickets! StubHub does not do refunds or cancellation of orders so my complaints fell on deaf ears but to top it off by adding insult to injury the manager (NOT IN THE USA) who took over the call told me she wouldn’t have made that mistake because she is careful with her money. Thank you StubHub for taking my money and insulting my intelligence! Your seller knew what they were doing when posting the tickets as they did. This will be my last time using this service and I will make sure to warn people about placing orders with your company.
The site is not transparent, sellers can mislead with wording and the “Chat Now” button on their email goes to a Q&A page, not live chat, with no contact info for StubHub! It takes digging into the site to find a phone number to call and you are transferred to another country where they apologize and tell you how sorry they are and understand the issue but they won't help. READ THE FINE PRINT, DO NOT USE!

I purchased some tickets for a concert at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto. Obviously, they were re-sale tickets of some kind and had the original purchaser's name on them but apparently that is not unusual. As the security person scanned the tickets at the venue's gate, the scanner alerted us that these were fake tickets or at least invalid! You can imagine the irritation and disappointment. So why am I giving StubHub a positive review? Simply because of their "FanProtect" 100% money back guarantee.
The following day I called them and after a brief questioning period, conducted by a very polite and attentive StubHub representative, they fully refunded my money with no hassle. I was impressed with their customer service and the fact they clearly take that money back guarantee and their reputation seriously. Realistically, this is the risk you take with re-sale tickets but I can honestly say that StubHub may not guarantee the validity of your tickets but they do guarantee your money. I should also say I used them at least once before this incident and had no problem with the tickets on that occasion. If you are leery about StubHub tickets, maybe just bring some extra cash and look for a scalper in case your tickets are rejected. That way you can at least see the show and rest easy because StubHub will refund you.

I don't get paid until 3-7 Business days after delivery. Because StubHub didn't update the UPS shipping information I now have to wait another 3-7 Business Days to get paid. I had to dig to find a phone number to call and straighten it out, prove that the tickets were delivered, (which the Stub Hub representative confirmed with UPS), and then updated my account to show them delivered. Now, I wait another 3-7 days before the money is in my account. Makes me think they are playing the "float" with the buyers money before they release it to the seller. Is there another source for ticket sellers? I don't that many transactions and I would like to find another more reliable and predictable source.

Please think twice before you sell tickets with StubHub. I am working on a lawsuit and would like to make it a class action lawsuit for the thousands of people who have tried to sell tickets and been charged hidden/ridiculous fees. My mother fell ill on the day of an event that she was attending and asked if I could help sell her tickets. I put her tickets up on StubHub with an option to mobile upload them. The instructions tell you to capture a photo of the entire ticket and then upload them directly on the site, which is what I did. The site said the tickets uploaded successfully. Within 30 minutes I received an e-mail that my tickets were sold. I called StubHub customer care directly to be sure that the tickets uploaded properly and were going to be valid for use.
I was told that the mobile upload option doesn't work like that (even though the site clearly gave me instructions and allowed me to upload the tickets). So I told the representative to cancel the transaction because I only have hard copies of the tickets. I asked what my options were and she said that I could try taking them to will call but they needed to contact the buyer first to get approval. After an hour on the phone with customer support, I was told that they couldn't do anything to help me and they would be charging me 40% of my list price for tickets that weren't even sold. I demanded a manager and was denied very rudely and then hung up on. I called back and spoke to a representative named Kathy who said she was communicating with a manager to get my problem resolved.
They proceeded to tell me that I never uploaded the tickets, which was false because I took screen shots. After 2 1/2 hours of being put on hold and rude representatives, I was finally told that the issue was resolved and given a service request number which was supposed to have all of the notes, stating that I wouldn't have to pay the fee.
Two days later, I received an email stating that I had to pay them $810 + $405 in fees because the buyer could not get into the venue. WHAT??!! I never sold the tickets. The transaction was cancelled!!! I spoke to someone named Matt in Marketplace investigations who was very rude! Did nothing to try to help even though I gave him the service request number. He even confirmed that he saw notes that I wasn't supposed to be charged, but said the other manager was wrong and I am going to be charged anyway. I will be getting an attorney. DO NOT trust this company or service. They are deceitful, money hungry, and have terrible customer service! You will regret doing business with StubHub!

A few day later I see in my email the ticket sold within hours when it was not even suppose to be on StubHub. Called and chatted with several agents and they all were very rude and did not want to rectify the problem. Basically said they could waive the fee but it is what it is and they are charging me $600 because the listing was posted. After pleading with over 6 agents no one would help me and they blatantly refused to let me talk to a supervisor. I also requested to see my app session and they just hung up on me. BAD BAD COMPANY!
I am a single mother of 4 and cannot afford to just give away $600 when the StubHub app does not even work properly. I even clicked on the links in the email they sent me and they don't work. This was an error and they still steal your money. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SELLING ON STUBHUB!!! They steal your money. There are other sites. Please check them out before you are charged for their website/app issues. In the end someone should really do something about this company. One of the guys asked me to list his four seats for the Fourth of July as he was unable to attend. I listed his tickets on June 12, 2018. This was first time I had ever tried to sell tickets on StubHub. Heath keeps his tickets in a bank in a deposit box in Nacogdoches, TX. I live in Henderson, TX. 45 miles away. They said I did not send barcodes for the tickets. On June 14, 2018 they said I relisted the tickets. If I did, it was inadvertent. I was unable to give them the barcodes because I didn't have possession of the tickets. On June 26, I received an email stating that the tickets had sold and they had the barcodes. Keep in mind, they are still in safety deposit box some 45 miles from me. July 1, 2018 I received another email saying my tickets had sold and they needed barcodes. I thought they were talking about the first sale.
I phoned Heath and he said he would go to the bank and send me barcodes. July 2, 2018 he sent me email with pictures of the tickets. I tried to enter them on StubHub and was informed that the tickets had already been sold and that I would be charged 40% for not being able to deliver the tickets. I told them I was not trying to defraud them, just wasn't sure of what to do. 10 seconds after hanging up my American Express card was charged $356.40. 10 days later I have still not received payment for the tickets, $651.60.
I have tried 3 times to get them to refund the 40% and to pay me for sale of tickets. They are saying I gave them bar codes on the June 26th, yet I didn't see tickets until July 2. I have canceled my StubHub account and will never use them again. #1 Why would I want to list the tickets twice? #2 Why would their system allow someone to list tickets twice? #3 Why would they sell the same tickets twice? Sounds like something dishonest is going on in their business model.

If I could give zero stars I would & like a few others, set up this account for no other reason than to explain the horrible experience I had with StubHub. Back in May, I was trying to purchase James Taylor tickets (4) as a birthday present for my sister. After looking at many different sites, including the one my friend used last year for the same tickets, I decided to go with StubHub because of their name alone. Didn't know of the other company & was a little nervous using them. My mistake! The first problem was I had to make 2 separate purchases for lawn seats (1 ticket, 3 tickets). I paid for them both & was sent a confirmation email on both orders stating that the tickets would be in hand by Friday, June 29th. In my opinion, with the concert being July 3rd, that was cutting it close.
The morning of the 29th, I received an email from StubHub, stating that the 1 ticket order was on its way & I'd have it via UPS by 8:00 pm that evening. No tracking #, no information on the other 3 tickets but since that was a separate transaction, I figured I'd get another email. By mid-afternoon, I had not received an email about the other tickets so I went onto their chat. Spoke to someone who assured me that they would be there, but if not, they would look on site to find other tickets. But ONLY after reaching out to the seller to see what was going on.
Saturday, late morning, nothing. No tickets, no emails, no information from StubHub. I got back on chat & spoke to a person who said that yes, they were still trying to reach the seller. I pointed out the very obvious fact that IF the seller had fulfilled his obligation, I'd have my tickets. However, since that day had come & went, it was obvious I wasn't going to receive them, could they please replace the tickets. Because, according to their "fan guarantee" one thing they say is "We go out of our way to find replacement tickets if there is an issue with your order." - Yeah, THAT isn't true!! I hopped onto their site only to see that yes, there WERE tickets still available. However, they don't want you to have them because then THEY are out $$. So what did they do? They waited till Sunday - no tickets, have to offer a refund.
So 2 people who had to take (unpaid) days off tomorrow AND my sister's birthday present? Who cares, they aren't losing money. So yes, it's going to be my mission to get this out to as many people as possible because StubHub, in my humble opinion, sucks. No customer service to speak of. And no, I don't feel like telling me "we understand your frustration & will refund your money" is good customer service. "We understand your frustration & let us offer you these tickets" would have been fine with me.

I purchased music tickets through StubHub using their mobile web platform. When you purchase tickets on StubHub you can click on various options and an arrow displaying the price hovers above the section you are purchasing. So I purchased tickets and several days later received tickets in a completely different section than was displayed on the screen. I called StubHub and the first person I talked to said she saw that this happened and assured me they would fix the situation. Later I received a second call stating they would not fix anything and the tix I received were the tix I purchased. I filled out a Better Business Bureau complaint and then received calls from the executive team with whom I played phone tag for two weeks.
They then told me they would put my tickets up for sale and give me a $200 credit on my account. Sounds great, only the tickets will likely NOT sell since there are so many other better seats available. So I would have NO guarantee that my tix would sell. The total of my purchase was $424. So if they didn't sell, I would be out $224 AND still have to purchase additional tix. The person I spoke with was getting frustrated because I'm not willing to let a company that rips people off for millions per year make me think they're giving me some great deal. And as if I would EVER use this site again. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SITE.

Consumers beware! I made this account solely so I can share my appalling experience with Stubhub. I purchased some concert tickets and ended up having one extra. I thought might as well sell this and make a few extra dollars. To my dismay, I found out the venue would be doing a delay release (4 hours before the event). I was in contact with Stubhub through the hours leading up to the concert. They assured me that they were having the same issue with other customers and that they were aware of the venue’s policy. Two hours before the concert I received an email notifying me that the order was canceled despite having spoken with a Stubhub employee 20 minutes before the cancelation who also assured me “they would take care of it”.
One week later I received another email saying that I owed Stubhub a cancellation fee. I immediately contacted Stubhub and asked them why I was charged when they knew the venue was the issue. They explained it was because I did not deliver the tickets on time. I repeated back to them that they knew (because they had on file) the venue delivered them late. If it were up to me, I would have uploaded those tickets as soon as I was able. However, this was out of my control.
Stubhub decided to do a 50% price reduction on my fee as a “courtesy”. I explained to them that since there was proof of the venue being the issue, they should waive the entire fee because even a 50% reduction is far too much. Especially considering it was not in any way my fault. After having multiple conversations about this issue, I realized that all Stubhub employees respond with the same robotic answer. There is no reasoning with this company. They take their profits from the buyer and seller, and do not care about anything else. Stubhub does not care about their customers.

I took a picture of each of them separately, listing went through and someone bought them only to find out that they were not approved at the venue. I then lost my money on the sale and was charged a $175 seller fee for my mistake. How hard is it to just put "You cannot sell hard tickets this close to the date of the venue." How about keep your normal Hard ticket option and just put a landing page there. It would be so easy to add a sentence to the listing page to warn sellers. Put UPS or LAST Minute Services on that page. So easy but yet they made out just fine, gouging me for $175!

I recently purchased 4 floor tickets for a music festival, but they shipped me incorrect tickets (non-floor seats) less than 3 days before the show. After several customer service calls, my options were to 1) refund & cancel the tickets for the sold-out show or 2) accept my worse tickets with the price that I paid for floor seats. Not to mention the flights and hotels that I already purchased for the show. I was a long-time StubHub user but will never be using them again! Please beware that their “FanProtect Guarantee” does not protect you from receiving the wrong tickets! The saddest part is that StubHub is owned by eBay, which did $2.2 Billion in PROFIT in 2017. But they were unwilling to spend any money on a 12-year customer to fix their mistake.

Buyer Beware! If they get a better offer they cancel your tickets that you ordered and paid for 2 months ago. My daughter purchased Pearl Jam tickets 2 months ago in Boston to get great seats for her boyfriend's birthday back in May, she purchased Section A4 Row 22 and paid over $3,000 for them. This morning I received a call from StubHub saying the tickets are no longer valid. They didn't do anything to help relocate other than what they had available on their Website which was off to the side which was not acceptable. They did nothing I mean nothing to help her out, their attitude is, "Oh well. The seller reneged."
So now after buying Airline Tickets for this Concert in Boston with front & center tickets gone needless to say I would not recommend purchasing tickets on this site. Imagine giving these phenomenal tickets for a Birthday gift to someone special only to receive a call from StubHub 2 months later to say your tickets are no longer valid, did I mention these tickets were paid in full. Over $3,000 I guess they got a better offer. My daughter is extremely upset as the Birthday experience is now ruined. Not who I will do business with again. This could happen to you. I have had more luck with Vividseats.com.
