I had tickets to an event that I could not attend. When looking for a solution to my problem I stumbled on their website. I posted my tickets and didn't understand why I had to give my credit card. I found out soon enough. Even though I followed their instructions to the letter I still got ripped off. Whomever purchased my tickets just didn't accept the the tickets that I sent and when they showed up to the event called Stubhub and said that |I never sent them the tickets. I think they did this on purpose because bam they got into the event for free. Stubhub charged my credit card for two new tickets.
I called to complain. the rude person told me that I didn't read well enough to know this would happen. Don't sell your tickets on StubHub. There is a built in loophole that anyone can get to see any show or event for free, just like what happened to me. If you add in the service fees they collect for the first tickets and the second tickets they charged me. You can see this is very profitable for their company.

Purchased tickets to a show 30 days in advance. Tickets were to be delivered the day before and never arrived. Contacted customer service. On the morning of the show I was told that my tickets couldn't be delivered, no alternate tickets were offered and money was refunded. Although my money was refunded, the inability to see the show that I had planned for a month to see was unacceptable. I will not use this site again. Buyer beware. The guarantee will get you your money back but not your desired experience.

The Fan Protect Guarantee is anything but. I purchased 2 Lion King in tickets two weeks in advance and I got 2 days notice that they were unable to fulfill the order. They tried to move me from the orchestra level to basically the last row of the balcony. There were very few tickets available, BUT there were 3 tickets available in the same row. I was unable to just purchase just 2 of the tickets and had to get 1 or all 3. StubHub had the opportunity to make it right and “protect” me but said they couldn’t cover the cost of the 3rd ticket. Given the situation and incredibly short notice, this would have been true customer service and would have “protected” me, but I guess if it causes any minimal financial loss for them that doesn’t matter.
Desperate, I ended up buying all 3 tickets at a substantially higher amount. I just started dating a girl and is a big Disney fan and was going to give her a full immersive experience, and I even told them this, so last row balcony is unacceptable, I even told them this. I don’t know how I can trust them anymore, since they seem to pride themselves on this 100% Guarantee but didn’t bend over backwards to make it right.

I purchased tickets to the Niners playoff game for 1/11/20. Got the confirmation of the tickets which were electronic. Then a few minutes later I get a cancellation confirmation from Stubhub which says contact them to resolve the issue. I spent over a hour on the phone as they insisted it was a security issue. I've purchased tickets prior to this transaction without any problem yet this time they say they could not help me as it was a different department that handles this issue and my account has been suspended and I can no longer access my account until that said department calls me which will take 48hrs.
This is highly unacceptable as these are playoff tickets and I was absolutely happy with the seats I have selected and pay for which now the price of those tickets are going up and will most likely be gone. I had a 50 dollar coupon that they gave me to apply to any transaction for being a new member which they stated they can't transfer to my wife's account so that we can try to repurchase tickets to this event. This is the very worst experience and I demand a resolution immediately as I will escalate this problem even further if it is not.

I had flown thousands miles away only to get humiliated because we are disallowed from entering the stadium. Sending them so many notes, and different people respond without solution, asking me to send pictures of the tickets, which I could not do because the day after I sent it to the advised address in Birmingham via post. But I sent them Arsenal letter which is legitimate but still too many hassle and wishy washy. Unprofessional!!!!

I have bought tickets to a football game, Chelse FC vs Southampton. I traveled from abroad to watch the game. I have informed the hotel about the package, which should have been delivered by December 25th (the game is on December 26th). I have contacted them and they promised the tickets will be delivered by any means until that day. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel claimed they received nothing! I called StubHub's emergency number, and they promised that the tickets will be in a pickup point near the stadium, and promised me I will get them by any means. They also said they put my case as a 'TOP PRIORITY' case, and that I will be informed early in the morning of the 26th, the match day.
I woke up early and - nothing. I called them; spoke to 3 different agents, wasted 3 hours of talking with them - and every one of them said I am not getting those tickets and I am not getting a refund! Each one of them gave a different excuse. They claim their calls are recorded. When I said that their agent has promised me yesterday that I will get those tickets, they said some of the calls are recorded, and that one might not be. When I said I have a screenshot of their support chat, when they claimed I have a "Fan Protect Guarantee", they also said their chats were not saved and that whoever I talked to before does not matter. To sum up, STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVING LIARS! Disgusting company. They stole 415 Euros from me!!!!

Brought tickets on StubHub for $22 somewhere were up to $1000. Come to find out once we got to the venue the tickets at the door still available for only $10. How can you sell tickets like this? I'm sure the artist will not get the money for those tickets sold on StubHub. All seats were general admission. So people who paid more than the $10 got the same seating as the $1000. Very sad.

Oct 2019 I purchased a ticket to a kpop concert in Paris from StubHub. When I got to the entry gate I was told that somebody had already entered on my ticket. I went to the box office and they confirmed that it was true. I called stubhub and they didn't do much to help me. I was told International stubhub will call me right back. They never did. They didn't even offer me a replacement ticket. Long story short I missed the concert.
When I got home I reached out to them and they did respond by email saying that they were looking into it. I did get a full refund of what I paid but no extra incentive for what I went through. Imagine flying from the United States to Paris to see a concert only to not be able to see that concert. It was said that the seller sold the same ticket to more than one person or they listed the ticket on several sites and sold it. Due to this I'm not so trusting of StubHub. There's no guarantee that sellers can't sell the same ticket on other websites. What really hurt was that StubHub didn't even offer me a replacement ticket.

Bought tickets to an event last year through Stubhub with no issues and the event was great. Bought them early for this year but when learned we wouldn't be able to attend listed them on Stubhub. After listed for several weeks received an email this morning saying the tickets had expired. We went online and saw other tickets listed for the same event still available to buy. We can't relist because it says the event isn't available for listing or the event has already happened. We can't sell them anymore because the event isn't available or has already happened but we can still buy them from others who are still listing them.

I purchased two tickets in September for the Hamilton Show in San Francisco on December 11th. They were a Christmas gift for my wife. We booked a hotel and flights to see the show. Last week, a week before the show, we received an email after hours to describe that our money was refunded for the show and the tickets were no longer available. This was after hours and no one answered their telephones. After many calls and demanding a supervisor I eventually was given replacement tickets, I still had to pay, that were not good with obstructed views.
I continued to ask about the guarantee that is bold and highlighted on their website? They only guarantee a refund, not your seats. It’s a complete scam. Today, I was informed that once again my new bad seat tickets were no longer available, really? Again, after many complaining calls my seats were replaced with two seats in the very back row, horrible seats. How can this company get away with this? Please, somebody start a class action lawsuit against this fraudulent company. I want to do something about this, please contact me. Joe

Bought and paid for 3 tickets to Hamilton musical in SF. I was told to wait for tickets' delivery information 2 day prior to the show. We were looking forward to the show on our vacation but three days before the show date, I received an email from Stubhub saying that they’re unable to deliver the tickets I ordered. I was very disappointed; I didn’t realize that the purchase was not guaranteed.
Why would Stubhub charge my credit card and held on to the money if the tickets were not yet available? I think they should make it clear at the point of sale that the tickets are not guaranteed so that the customer can decide if they want to take the risk. Also, they should informed me as soon as they realized they can’t deliver the tickets so that I can make alternative plans. They did issue a full refund but only after I called in to ask the reason for the delay. Stubhub didn’t include their customer service contact information in their email or on website help center. I bought four tickets to Dane Cook together. They sent four tickets seated together seats 8,9,10,11. Seats 9 and 11 were for a show that was 2 months earlier. I didn’t notice this until an hour prior to the show. I made a call and after 45 minutes spent on the phone they promised they would email me the correct tickets within 15 minutes. It’s now showtime and I’m still standing outside the gates in the cold. I sent my parents into the show and my wife and I waited for the tickets.
We both called and spoke to two different people. The one my wife spoke with said she was cancelling all tickets and refunding them bc it was sold out and there was nothing she could do. The person I was talking with said they were working on it and trying to fix the problem and get me the tickets. I made them wait on the phone until I had the tickets in my email.
Overall, this took almost two hours on the phone! I missed both opening acts and 10 minutes of Dane Cook. I waited a few days to let it settle and I still was not happy so I called to talk to stubhub customer service. Customer service was less than helpful. Eventually after talking to a manager I received a refund on my stubhub fees and shipping but it still didn’t feel right (43 minute call itself). After all of this I would recommend going through another vendor. The fees are super high and the quality assurance is just not there.
A side note is that the automated call back system that “guarantees you don’t lose your spot in line” is BS. I put my number in and waited the 17 minutes + and extra 10, then made the call back. I waited the 20 minutes and then talked to an agent. I did receive the callback but it was more like 55 minutes later and I definitely had lost my spot in line. They showed me their tickets and they were my exact tickets I had on my phone from StubHub. They just had the actual physical copy. All of us were baffled. Luckily they were bench seats so the two gentleman and people next to them were super good about it and we all squished together.
I will say StubHub did say they performed an investigation after I told them about it but said they couldnt reimburse because the ticket numbers never showed as being scanned more than once. Well I found one of the guys on Facebook and asked him if they were able to get in the venue fine with their tickets and they said they had some sort of field pass to get in the field before the game started so they used that to get in and then they thought they'd have to scan their tickets later but never did since they were already inside. So in StubHub's defense I think they tried to get to the bottom of it but it comes down to the fact I had bought some expensive tickets and didnt have a seat. This is about the worst case of misrepresentation that I've ever experienced - and unbelievable poor customer service. Ticket Buyers beware - the Fan Guarantee means nothing and Stub Hub is apparently happy to misrepresent ticket information to sell tickets. Happy to speak to anyone with questions. (If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would.) I go concerts constantly, but I will never purchase tickets through Stubhub again. This is what happened to me: They sold GA tickets at the price of the "Pit GA" and when I questioned them about it, they told me that it was my fault for purchasing regular GA and not the ones for the Pit. Regular GA was $50, and "Pit GA" was $150. When I was purchasing the tickets at $150/each, I assumed it was for the Pit, and apparently they just jacked up the price to make it look like they were. So I lost $200 for no reason. I questioned them, they said there was nothing they could do except waive fees if I resold them.
Then, the same show was rescheduled due to flooding (I'm in Houston). ALL other vendors who sold tickets to the show honored refunds if you were unable to make the reschedule date. Stubhub did not offer refunds. I have spent thousands (easily) in concert tickets, but NEVER will they get my money again, since it is clear that they do not value the customer.

I contacted chat support after noticing my ticket and fee prices constantly fluctuating. The agent lied and told me the seller changed the price plus or minus 2 to 3 dollars 12 times in a matter of minutes, all with coincidental fee price changes that matched the ticket price changes. The company shifts a few dollars from the ticket prices or fees to try and make it seem like the buyer is getting a better deal but it's just the placement of the charge.
I asked the agent about my 30% fee and she told me that the company doesn't charge that much, it only charges 10 to 15. I told her that's what's in my cart right now and she called me a liar. I told her again that's what's in my cart and she called me a liar again. I asked if I bought the tickets right now and if I was charged more than 15% if she would refund me the difference. The idiot told me she can't give me a refund because I hadn't bought them yet. I repeated that I can click pay right now at this very second. But if I do will she refund me. She told me no because the company doesn't charge more than 15% and because she can't refund me if I haven't bought it yet. What a total idiot! She proceeded to disconnect the chat.
I reconnected with someone else and sent the previous transcript. That agent told me that the previous one was wrong and the fee can be more than 15%. She refused to actually address her colleague calling me a liar over this matter. The second agent told me that had I clicked pay with the first agent she would have refunded me the difference between 30 and 15%. I explained that I told the first agent I am ready to pay but she disconnected me. The second agent informed me that because the first agent disconnected me before I hit pay and because I had to reconnect a second time to get an answer, that now I know the first agent was wrong and I will not get a refund.
I asked why it is fair to punish me for the first agent's lack of professionalism with disconnecting me after calling me a liar and the second agent told me I didn't have to contact a second time and could have just bought and tried to sort it out later. Another idiot with fake logic working for the company. She then told me she is too busy to talk to me further and disconnected.
I called in and asked for a supervisor. The agent disconnected me.
I called and spoke to another agent which repeated the same brain dead logic as the second agent.
I'm never using this awful company again.

When we attempted to do this, we kept getting error messages from both the Ticketone website preventing us from purchasing the tickets. We then tried to go through the Napoli website and it would not let us or Stubhub select from the drop down, thus not letting us get the card.
A Stubhub agent was able to go through the purchase process with us on his end to determine if it was just the browser we were using but they also saw both of these issues and could not purchase the card on their end. They stated they could do nothing else and not refund our money as when the tickets were purchased, there was a note in the "Disclaimers" that said this was needed. Given how big of a deal this is, there was not a single email until the week before telling us to do this and when it could not be done, no fault of our own, Stubhub's reply was that they were a separate entity and could not refund us the money.
Every person we spoke to had the same generic response as if they were reading straight from a script. I was sent the wrong ticket the day before the show. I spoke with someone from customer service and since they did not have any other tickets for me that were equivalent to what I ordered they refunded me and let me keep the ticket because of the mistake and inconvenience. I thought that was very nice until I got a call from StubHub 2 hours before the show started that they needed my permission to charge me for the ticket that they refunded. I did not give my permission as it was not fair to go back on their word that it would be refunded. They did offer me the choice of sending back the ticket and then they would not charge me.
Unfortunately at that point there were no other tickets available so that would mean I could not go to the show. Had I known that at the time when I was initially refunded I could have looked for other tickets when there were still tickets available but since I was refunded I did not. The agent asked again for my permission to charge me and I said NO. Despite that they still charged me. They had saved my credit card information without my permission and charged it without my permission. THIS IS FRAUD. DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AS THEY SAVE THE INFORMATION AND USE IT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.
On top of that when I called to complain about being charged without my permission the agent could not help me and refused to let me speak to a manager. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially CHAD who laughed at me on the phone when I was upset I was given the wrong ticket and I could hear other agents laughing in the background. They don’t give you any warning or confirmation before they take the money out of your account and they don’t tell you whether or not the buyer chooses to cancel the order or they buy a replacement ticket. There’s absolutely no line of communication or cooperation. Essentially, if I have $200 left in my account. Recommended resell price was $61 and after fees I would have only received $103. That would have been over $100 in fees you collected just from me for the same event. However there was no transfer button. I was told it might take a couple of days for it to show up. Went to look again and couldn't access the tickets at all! $600 and I can't even access them! Tried multiple browsers. Would not work. Called and was told I could not transfer them (seriously?) and finally got them on the StubHub site by not logging in and finding the order. Hope it works when I try it again! Also had many issues changing my password. Only Chrome would work. Their technology sucks! The customer service folks were nice. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!

Purchased great tickets to a concert, and as anyone who has used this horrid company before knows, you have to go through 27 steps and applications to actually access your ticket. When I finally completed all 27 and reached the stage to access my tickets, they were GONE. After a very long story, turns out because StubHub isn't the seller of the ticket, the company "AXS" who sold the ticket to transfer to me, is allowed to revoke the tickets at any time before I click the "Accept" button, even though the money was paid in full. So now I'm down over 2,000 euros and have no tickets.

My wife bought tickets on StubHub to Hootie and the Blowfish at DTE Music Theater in January of 2019 for August 16, 2019 concert. We arrived early planning to get good lawn seats but was told at the gate our tickets were invalid and told we needed to contact StubHub to see what they could do. As we were walking away from the entrance to place a call we saw at least a dozen others who had the same issue. After 40 minutes on hold and talking to a rep from StubHub they were able to rectify and get us new tickets (no upgrade). Sadly this delay put us at the back of the venue where we could only see the Jumbotron. Seeing this happened to literally a few dozen people at the concert I will make a point to avoid StubHub in the future.

StubHub was late getting me my tickets. Furthermore, there was an opening band at the show that wasn't on my ticket. I had to leave early and was there to see the opening co-headliner. My tickets said nothing about a third band playing. Long story short, after six hours of driving, food, gas, parking, etc. I missed the band I drove to see. I just called them and they could have cared less.

When I asked what happened to my ticket they didn’t have an answer. They offered to refund my tickets or keep the wrong tickets with a 25% discount. StubHub is a scam. Don't assume your tickets will work. Absolutely appalling customer service. Turned up to an event in Sweden I'd purchased tickets to. They did not work as someone had gone in with the same barcode. Called StubHub on the night, but ended up sorting out tickets myself as it was getting convoluted. In trying to get a refund, I have had in excess of 20 contacts with them via telephone, email and online chat, have gone back to the Swedish Stadium to obtain evidence of denial of entry and wasted hours and hours. Each time I spoke to someone at Stubhub (usually after long periods on hold), they said the delay was "much longer than usual, but the team who looks at this doesn't have a contact number".
The final straw, 3 months after the event, was an email in Spanish(!) from a help desk requesting a copy of the stadium evidence which I have already supplied 5 times via email and direct upload. StubHub is a disgraceful scam, and I cannot believe the scale this business has achieved which such appalling customer service. To stuff up and sell me a duplicate ticket is one thing. To then screw me over on a refund for tickets which did not work is unforgivable. Avoid at all costs.

Have used StubHub for years as we see a ton of shows. I always thought their 100 Fan Guarantee meant something but I was wrong. On May 4 I purchased 4 tickets for $432 for the Aug 8th Billy Joel concert at Coors Field in Denver. It was a birthday surprise for my 13 year old son. Upon entry my tickets in my ticket master app did not contain a barcode. I was sent to customer service where I learned my tickets had been (not through me) transferred back to the seller and without a barcode they were invalid. Upon contacting StubHub customer service I was told that I had accepted my tickets in their app and it was out of their control?! I had to purchase on site $800 worth of tickets to attend.
My second call back was somewhat better as I was told she would file a claim. Today 8/12/19 I was told that my claim had been denied as I accepted the mobile tickets which were invalid. I then called Coors Field customer service and their manager was able to trace the tickets which had been retransferred twice back to the original owner. The Coors Field manager did send a letter in regards to my tickets being invalid as they were transferred back to the original owner. Upon relaying this letter to Jordan my StubHub claim associate along with a receipt for my new tickets, he told me how appreciative he was, and how he needed to investigate further and that I should perhaps call Ticketmaster and ask them what happened which I already did.
He really stressed appreciate over & over as if he is helpless and his appreciation of doing his work somehow makes losing $432 feel better. They have had my $432 since May and sent me invalid tickets and I have been continually shrugged off or postponed. I told Jordon I should be receiving a refund immediately but he really stressed the appreciation of me giving him more information and that he again needed to investigate. I have spent HOURS dealing with StubHub and Ticketmaster and tracking down the Coors Field manager who was so helpful and kind. Still no refund!?
I was told if I filed a complaint with my credit card company that my StubHub account would be suspended. Hello?! Why would I be using them again if they don’t issue me a refund on invalid tickets?! What I think is complete bs is that I’m pretty sure both StubHub & Ticketmaster are able to see the history of my ticket. They both said "Looks like your ticket was transferred back", but then their reps put you on hold forever and come back with the "but you clicked on accept tickets." Well, yes!? If I purchased $432 tickets I’m going to accept them?! At StubHub the customer is definitely not right. Worst customer service EVER!

Now mind you we were to be seated VIP section center stage with leather seats and food and beverage service. We were offered fold out plastic chairs in the area where the seats should have been and I replied, "No. That is not what we paid 200 dollars a seat for." The only other solution was in the left stage corner with an obstructed view of the stage and free drinks or no show at all. We drove 5 hrs for this concert. No show 5 hrs away for 200 seats. I am not pleased because StubHub says they are not responsible. The guarantee states if seats are not what you ordered you get a full refund. This is fraud!!!! They have an insurance to refund me or give me new tickets, but they insisted that they sort out why the seller who bought the tickets through their platform did not get his tickets. They would make his seller send me directly, but they could not reach him. It is 7h after my first call that I asked to send me a refund as they were not able to give me this or other tickets.
Unfortunately I did not get to go to the concert now and had to cancel the babysitter. Most disappointing is that they write I have the tickets although they dont. I have been buying baseball and hockey tickets on Stubhub for over 10 years and have never had a problem. The tickets were always described as "instant download" and within minutes were emailed to me as a PDF file and I was able to print them and use for entrance. However this year I noticed the tickets were listed as "mobile ticket-instant".
I recently attempted to purchase tickets to an MLB game. Thinking "mobile ticket-instant" means either mobile or instant download, I proceeded to checkout where I read "straight to the Stubhub app - and your Stubhub account - on your phone within minutes." What's that mean? Do the tickets go to my phone? Are they also on my account available to be printed? Are they still downloaded to my computer? The help section says some mobile tickets can not be printed, but what about "mobile tickets-instant".
Fortunately I was able to chat with a CSR before I made the purchase. The rep said that due to Stubhub's agreement with MLB, all tickets are now mobile phone only. You must have a smartphone to get them and they are not able to be printed. So those of us like myself who do not have smartphones are out of luck. I'm not sure who drove this decision, MLB or Stubhub. But what got me was the lack of information on Stubhub's website. Unlike other ticket sites I visited after this experience, nowhere on Stubhub's site does it state that you must have a smartphone to use these tickets. And despite being a long term customer I received no notice from Stubhub that the ticket delivery method was changing. (I did not purchase any tickets from them last year, however I had in 2017 and my account was still active.)
I'm amazed that Stubhub/MLB could make such a change and completely disregard the 20% of us without smartphones, but Stubhub not only implemented the change without notice, they use misleading terminology that could easily lead someone to believe the tickets are also available for download and printing. I really think they hope people without smartphones still purchase the tickets and then find out the hard way you can't use them. So this is a warning to folks. Unless the tickets say "mobile or print" (like NHL tix) you MUST have a smartphone as you can not print mobile tickets.

They took all this info and the ticket was listed. I was not in cell coverage area for some hours afterwards. They claim my ticket was sold and since I didn't transfer my ticket, they sold the buyer another ticket and charged me for the difference between the selling price of my ticket and the price of the ticket they did sell to the buyer. WTF? They sold someone else's ticket instead, got paid in full for that ticket, remitted something less to that seller, and then charged me for the difference what I listed my ticket for and what they "had" to pay to get the buyer a ticket.
So they're making money from both the actual seller and me (the seller who didn't actually sell my ticket because I wasn't aware that it had sold or aware that some further action is required even after I list an eticket for sale). How they're allowed to stay in business by scamming two sellers and one buyer is beyond me. Buyer/Seller beware, never do business with StubHub.

It was my first time to purchase concert tickets last March because it was for BLACKPINK. I bought 2 tickets for me and my friend for Blackpink Melbourne - General Admission June 13, 2019 and paid the full amount of $1167.76 including shipping fee to NZ. I got an email stating that I will receive the tickets June 7. It was fine with me and was very happy and excited. Last June 5, StubHub contacted me to offer a change in the category of the tickets I bought for the reason that “seller has communicated that the tickets selected are no longer available”. From General Admission, StubHub offered to change it to Lower tier, section 7 row G (right side of the stage and is already almost side view) and was much cheaper. Since I had no choice and was panicking already as the concert was already near, I decided to accept the offer.
On June 6, StubHub replied that Lower tier, section 7 no longer available, as the seller sold it elsewhere (What the heck?!!!!). They then offered me another ticket from another seller - Section 12 row J side view, (left side of stage) with AUD 150 partial refund. Was very frustrated and annoyed but still decided to accept the offer as we were already running out of time. Our flight was on June 10 and we needed to get the tickets before we fly to Australia from NZ. Stubhub then replied: “Thank you so much for the acceptance, the new tickets will be electronic, and they will uploaded by the new seller. We also have proceeded partial refund of AUD 150, to the same method of payment when you finalized the the purchase.” - I DID NOT GET THE REFUND UNTIL NOW.
On the same day (June 6) StubHub sent me another email stating: “We will contact you shortly to let you know that we have returned $106.25 for the ticket(s) of type General Admission corresponding to the event BLACKPINK Melbourne that you bought from StubHub. You will receive this amount in your account within the next few days.” - I STILL DID NOT RECEIVE THIS REFUND UP UNTIL NOW.
Because StubHub changed the paper tickets to e-tickets, they sent another email on June 6 stating: “We will contact you shortly to let you know that we have returned $46.92 for the ticket(s) of type General Admission corresponding to the event BLACKPINK Melbourne that you bought from StubHub. You will receive this amount in your account within the next few days.” - I DID NOT RECEIVE THIS AMOUNT TOO UP UNTIL NOW. StubHub finally sent 2 E-tickets on June 6 (with TICKETEK logo. Should have just bought it from Ticketek directly) for the Section 12 row J side view. Each ticket was only 203.50 Aud as shown on the tickets.
Last June 21, I sent an email again to StubHub to follow up the refund. Luciano from StubHub replied stating: “Regarding your query, we will investigate it with the finance department. We will be contacting you as soon as we have news.” But it has been more than a month and still no refund and no update from them. Today, I sent them another email to follow-up the refund because I needed the money badly and am still waiting for their reply. My experience with StubHub is just the worst. Very poor service. However none of this makes a difference because if the buyer is a scalper and has sold the tickets they bought from me multiple times then the scan report will show that it has been scanned many times which "proves" to them that I sold invalid tickets. I paid them 4,500 euros for a ticket to the 2019 Champions League final, the biggest event of my 63-year-old old life. They followed up the next 3 weeks with emails, saying things like “only a week to go, are you getting excited!” Then, just three days before I was flying from Bangkok to Madrid, when everything was booked, they phoned to say I wasn’t going to get the ticket after all. The prices had soared to even crazier levels and the ticket holder had opted to sell it for more elsewhere. I was distraught and yelled down the phone “for god’s sake get me another ticket. I’ve booked my flights and hotels!” The girl replied: “We can’t, I’m sorry.” And that was it, conversation over.
The flights and accom were non-refundable so I went over anyway, spent the whole 3 days before the game running around Madrid pestering ticket touts and anyone who would listen to try to get one ticket but by then the cheapest were fetching 9-10,000 euros, way out of my league. Long story short, Stubhub honored their pledge to refund my money and later sent me 1,500 euros as compensation, provided I promised in writing not to sue them. An American businessman friend said they’d never be allowed to get away with this in the US – they’d have had to spend whatever it took to find me another ticket.
The compo they sent me covered my flights/expenses but it’s hard to explain the absolute distress this whole episode caused me – flying halfway across the world, only to find I was one of several thousands, tearing around begging for a ticket. I finally tried my luck outside the stadium and got to 100 metres from the ground, where police on horses swept us all away and out of sight. It was truly ghastly. Why the rant? These people lied in their follow-up email, saying they had done all they could to find me another ticket. Even worse, their entire business practice is based on promising tickets they don’t have in their possession. THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.
I don’t mind reselling websites onselling tickets for whatever price the ticket-holder wants to charge – I really don’t. But it is disgusting that they can willfully offer tickets they don’t actually have and can’t guarantee delivering. They should only be allowed to sell what they have in their hands. Yes, they compensated me – but it doesn’t go anywhere close to making up for the enormous stress they caused me and a trip of my life that became a nightmare. The law should stop websites like this from operating. I’m sure they’re not bad people but be very wary about buying from them if the event is popular and prices are rising.

I bought a pair of tickets. The service fee was 40 bucks, but because i was buying 2 the service fee is charged per ticket. $80 before you even buy your pair of tickets... I calmly reached out to StubHub to explain that the customer should not be paying 2 SEPARATE service fees for ONE TRANSACTION. They fed me a line about how that goes towards making sure you get genuine tickets from the seller and bla bla bla. So for instance if you buy 4 tickets be prepared to shell out $200 just in fees!!
The icing on the cake is that if you were to buy 4 tickets for instance, they will charge you 4 SEPARATE TIMES FOR SHIPPING! EVEN THOUGH IT IS COMING IN ONE ENVELOPE! These people have the audacity to charge you the cost to ship 4 tickets individually even though they are going to be shipped to you all at once and in a single envelope. You guessed it, the pair of tickets i bought? I am getting charged for 2 separate shipping fees.. They wouldnt waive one of these charges either, they said it is part of their fees. Meaning they acknowledged they are just pocketing the other half of the shipping charges. NEVER USING STUBHUB AGAIN, THEY ALSO DID NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

Apparently StubHub is saying that Caesars denied ticket because they didn't get their cut of money. Or is it StubHub scammed me! Buyer beware. I would not use this company for anything. Buy from box office and you will be guaranteed to get a seat. Will follow up when corporate office calls me to to tell me why the tickets were denied. I have no faith in a company that lied about getting original tickets. The face value on ticket were 120.00 a ticket and I paid 899.50. What a absolute joke. All they could do was say sorry. Well sorry is not good enough.
I have read reviews after this altercation and it seems I'm not the only one this has happened to. Where is the honor or bond by your word. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Absolute train wreck. StubHub can’t get a hold of the seller so offers us replacement tickets that are HORRIBLE! Basically in the back. We had no choice but to accept or not go and we had already drove 5 hrs to be there for our anniversary. 10 minutes later the tickets are back on the site for INSTANT DOWNLOAD. We call and they basically tell us, "too bad." After some arguing they say “we will give you your fees back at least cause we understand.”
I said, "Whatever. At least I get 60 bucks back." Well... they raised the ticket price. So when they submitted the refund they got their 60 dollars back cause they put the ticket were 50 dollars more than we originally paid. We had screenshots of the original cost however and will now be making a 3rd call to them. They are just dirty POS’s that don’t care about the customer at all. Here is details of the event: #**. 2019 Cricket World Cup - Bangladesh v India Tickets. The ticket was sold and apparently buyer complained to StubHub that one of the ticket was a child ticket and in Alcohol free section. Now, StubHub is asking me to buy these tickets for the buyer. This is clearly StubHub who misadvertised to the buyer on what I was selling.
Here are unethical behaviors from StubHub:
1. Now, they have introduced a new option post June 8th, mentioning that child tickets cannot be sold. This was not there before.2. I had chosen alcohol free and now they are saying it was not chosen.
My ask from them is, to give me the committed price buyer agreed to buy.

Bought tickets using StubHub a week and a half ago for the concert last night (06-21-19). Upon arrival to the gate the lady scanned both tickets and told me they were already used. She kindly explained that this has been happening and I needed to call StubHub. I agreed and she let me stand on the other side by her as I called versus putting me at the back of the long line. After being on customer service for nearly 15 minutes (already missing the opening act...), the guy on the other end of the phone call said that he found another set to send me to my email address. I got them and he said he would stay on the line as I went through. As I told him I'm getting ready to go back through he hung up on me. (Maybe miscommunication?)
After I told the lady at the gate that I received a new set she promptly scanned them and told me they were invalid. After already wasting so much time getting another set. I recalled back to customer service and explained that I was already sent another set and that I'm finished with StubHub and want a refund. Now they have to investigate my case and will get back to me instead of just issuing my refund immediately like the first guy on the line offered to do. Missed the concert, time getting off work early, and driving to the concert only to be disappointed. Put a pretty bad taste in my mouth and won't be using StubHub again. I bought tickets to a Washington Nationals game that was rained out and postponed. I cannot make the rain-date and my only option is to resell my tickets. People who purchase their tickets from MLB.com may exchange for different dates or receive a refund. The problem with the StubHub model is that all responsibility is owned by the buyer for "acts of God" even though StubHub makes a hefty commission on each transaction.
In fact, until I argued with customer service, they intended to charge me a service fee to resell the tickets I can't use. Then they "magnanimously" agreed to waive the service fee when I made a stink. Still, there's no way that I'm going to recoup the cost of my tickets (two at $30 a piece) plus the $16 service fee. My recommendation to StubHub is to take some loss yourselves and provide more flexibility to customers in these situations. I believe there's no chance that StubHub will change their policies. My recommendation to y'all is to never use StubHub for events that are prone to postponement unless you have a completely free calendar.

I purchased 2nd row seats to see Kinky Boots. I was able to get into the venue, but soon found out that the entire section where we were supposed to be seated did not exist (probably 100+ seats). The venue ended up seating us in Row Y towards the back of the theater. I called Stubhub to complain and to try to reach some resolution because I would never have ordered seats so far back in the theater. They would only offer a $17 refund.
I asked about their FanProtect Guarantee, which guarantees that you will receive the tickets you ordered or something comparable/better. The rep said that I did receive the tickets I ordered, I simply didn't receive the actual seats that I ordered. Apparently there is a difference. I'm not unreasonable - I know that glitches can happen and I did get to see the show. However, $17 off for 2 tickets did not seem like fair compensation.
Anyway, I tried to escalate this to a manager but she told me no managers were available and that they would just tell me the same thing anyway. In addition, Stubhub continued to list seats in the same non-existent section for the 3 Kinky Boots shows that occurred after the showing I attended. They literally had dozens of seats listed in that same section and barely anything else in any other legitimate/existing sections. This seems kind of sketchy, like someone knew there was a glitch in the ticketing system and was exploiting it. Stubhub should have removed the listings after I and probably many other people complained.
I have never filed a credit card dispute because I have always been able to go up the chain of command at a company's customer service in order to fix problems. However, this option doesn't seem to be available at Stubhub as the only people I can talk to are powerless customer service agents. This left me no choice but to file a dispute in order to get this resolved.

For anyone who understands the significance of this, it was really disheartening to hear that after midnight (Quite a while after the Raptors win which led to game 5 being the potential last game for the Raptors), StubHub contacts me and says there is a security issue with my Raptors tickets on a guest account.
I open the support email immediately as I receive it and upon explaining that I had purchased the tickets with no issue etc. the "Live Assistance" provider told me that he would connect me with the trust safety team of StubHub. However, this team responds "within 24 hours" and when I asked if my tickets were still locked and held for me (Since I purchased them and had no issues on my end or my bank's end) and he alerted me that they were re-listed into the selling pool. It is disgusting to see that this happened only after the Raptors won game 4 and StubHub apparently had no issue with my account until the tickets tripled in value.
This was not an issue with my bank as I have done several high volume payments before and my bank/card never bounces or has problems with transactions. I had even contacted my bank after my live chat with StubHub and they alerted me that there was no concern for fraud on their end and this was an issue with the StubHub security team. I am unsure if StubHub is attempting to scam clients in games where ticket prices are volatile and relist tickets for a higher price because I have literally no understanding of why they would "temporarily lock" my account and then instantly re-sell the tickets at three times the price. I hope people see this and make better decisions before buying high-value tickets to playoff sports outings and events.

** company takes. They start off with a ludicrous 45% of the ticket value penalty, BUT the penalty may also be the difference of cost to replace the right tickets for the seller - WHICHEVER IS GREATER. That’s the part that really pisses me off, this company gives such little importance to their customers that they literally try to charge you the greatest amount, rather than the lesser.
What’s more bothersome is that instead of making a standard price for admin expenses, they put a percentage. So if you sell $20 tickets your loss is minimal, but if you sell $5000 your loss is huge, since you get charged a percentage even if they used up the same resources for both sales. Clearly this company has no care for customer satisfaction, they are in the business of quantity, not quality. Boycott StubHub.

Then I listed them again and I chose pdf option because paper tickets was not available this time and I didn’t notice. The person bought the tickets and I went get the shipping label and it said upload tickets. I went to upload them and I was not allowed to copy them for the pdf. I called StubHub to see if the buyer would be okay to have them shipped overnight and StubHub said they would ship them overnight. The person cancelled the ticket purchase again. I called StubHub and they went on and on about how I listed them incorrectly. But nowhere on their website does it say that paper ticket options are erased as an option.
The man I spoke with, Miles, was very rude and said I listed them wrong. He said they do not ship overnight anywhere. It would be a courtesy. Which is not true because I’ve UPS tickets in one day with them before and it never said anything about that being a courtesy, it’s a standard practice. Then I said why did the man I spoke with earlier say he could send them on the weekend. And he said, "No. We don’t send anything over the weekend." So they told me two different answers and I got charged 24$ and 32$ for both listings. I asked where on the website it says they don’t deliver over the weekend and he said in the seller's policy but I haven’t found any information on that. And then he hung up on me after sternly insinuating how I did all this wrong.
I tried to explain I’m new to StubHub and selected what I thought was best given my options. There was no better information on their website over their policy. The man hanging up on me while I was politely asking questions about the process and asking for help finding these policies online so I could avoid things like this in the future was so rude. I was completely baffled by the horrible customer service and how they were blatantly trying to blame me for it all when I was merely trying to find better information to avoid being charged further.

I will NEVER use StubHub again. I purchased tickets for game 2 of the Bucks vs Celtics game. Not cheap tickets might I add. The website showed this game as May 3rd in Milwaukee. Game 2 is on a Tuesday in Milwaukee and game 3 is in Boston, even my order confirmation stated that was a home game when it is not. Customer service is BS. I called and explained the situation and that I wanted a refund and that the info was wrong and I didn’t trust that I was getting the right tickets. They said it would need to be sent to special events and I’d get an e-mail. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Was then told she spoke to a supervisor who said the same thing. I hung up and called my bank. The charge is still pending, so they cannot file a dispute until it goes through. I’ll get my $ back but then it takes 10 days.
So I call StubHub again and finally get a supervisor. They admit their website was wrong and even though it says May 3rd in Milwaukee I did purchase tickets for the home game I wanted. But my order confirmation still does not show the correct date and location. They said they need to fix the website. At this point, I’ve been on the phone way too long to be issued a simple refund. They still refuse to give me a refund. So I’ll have to dispute it. I let them know either way they won’t be getting my business and never again in the future. Terrible customer service and they will not do the right thing. They do not care about losing customers.

Updated 03/01/2020: I purchased tickets for the Queen concert in Melbourne a year ago costing me 350 each. I received them a month before the concert to get the worst seats. 3 rows from the back. When purchasing the tickets I made sure they were going to be tickets on the floor. My tickets were worth $94.00 each which were still available to buy from Ticketek if that’s what I wanted. Absolutely disgraceful. They took my money straight away and gave me my tickets 11 months later that were soooo bad. Called the company several times just so I could hear that they can sell the tickets at any cost, even though I chose a specific area when purchasing the tickets.
Do yourself a favour and never buy tickets from this company. They rip you off. And watch out for terms and conditions. Hidden is that they charge you now and don’t have to give you tickets until 2 weeks before the event. Even Paypal was not able to help me as it was terms and conditions which is pages and pages of small print. They are crooks and so dishonest. Stay away from StubHub.
Original Review: I purchased tickets for Queen in Melbourne which isn’t on till Feb next year, that’s 10 months away. On the terms and conditions it said that I would be receiving my tickets in within 72 hours. Almost a week later and no ticket. Had to make an international call just to hear them say that these terms did not apply and that I would receive my tickets a week before the concert. Paid $2100 for these tickets that they took the money out of my account. Why take the money if the tickets are not available yet? Stay right away from this company. Total fraud if you ask me. I would never use this company again.

Updated on 02/18/2020: This the worst company I have ever dealt with. The original show was rescheduled and then cancelled. I called and asked for a refund and advised the original credit card on file had been cancelled. I was advised to buy some sort of prepaid card and they would refund it on there. Then they took my bank information under the pretense of refunding my money only to find out I was charged again for the tickets. Now I am trying to fight with my credit card company for a refund and StubHub for the second charge. Never will I do business with that company again.
Original Review: I purchased ticket and the show was postponed until next year. Chances are it won't happen at all. I requested a refund and was denied. I contacted the BBB and they did nothing to resolve the issue. Never use them again.

I purchased a ticket to Beetlejuice for my anniversary of April 20th. My husband has passed away so I thought a show would be a nice distraction. I printed out the ticket. An hour later I noticed the date on the ticket was April 13th...a date that has already passed. I chatted with a rep who said they would take care of it and get me the correct ticket but if I didn't hear back from them to call in the AM. No word back so I called and Tanya said my ticket was not available but they would get me a better one. After being on hold for over 30 minutes she came back with Row B Orch Side. I was in row L Center which is a better seat. She could not give me the actual seat number but said it was close to the center.
I said since there are only 6 seats in that section and it's so close to the stage how bad could it be. She said I could not print out the ticket but would have to pick it up but not to worry because the ticket office was only 1 block away from the theater. Well, I get my confirmation and it's not Row B but Row P and the ticket office is 24 blocks away from the theater. I immediately called back and said the new seat was unacceptable but was told since I had accepted them there was nothing they could do. No amount of arguing with them about the wrong information being given to me mattered. They gave me a $30.00 coupon for a future purchase which I will not use. I also will not use the inferior ticket because I don't want to walk the 36 blocks before the show. I'm officially done with StubHub! They do not resolve issues fairly!

I wanted to buy tickets for a Los Angeles Dodgers game the day before to avoid buying them at the stadium as I usually do. Redownloaded their app to buy the tickets, after finding them, had to update my new address and card info, but the tickets were for the wrong date. There is no way to stop the transaction. Called them immediately, even though it is difficult to find their phone number on their app.
Talked with their rep about what had just occurred, and was informed that there is nothing I could do about date. I explained to them about the error date. Keep in mind that the game had already started and I live two hours away, even though I did attempt to stop the transaction, once checked out they will not do anything about the situation other than offer to resell them for less than half for what I bought them. Remember game had already started, who was really going to buy tickets after an event starts and make to see it. Won’t be using them and don’t recommend anyone to them.

I resold a ticket for an event and TWO WEEKS later got a notification that my ticket was fraudulent. I definitely posted exactly what I had purchased and even reached out to the event team and they said they had the same order number for me and nothing should have prevented the ticket from scanning. Stubhub still refunded the seller and charged me for the tickets. I sent the information to Stubhub as soon as I received it and they took three days to get back to me and then said I had missed the two day deadline. Just horrible all around.

I bought two tickets to Dear Evan Hansen. I immediately (within minutes) realized I bought for the wrong day and called customer service to switch the day and they refused saying my only recourse was to buy new ones and sell my old ones in StubHub. I did not but because the ticket prices themselves were a rip off. I then looked at the tickets then and only realized then through some weird coding on the ticket that they tickets (costing over $200 each) were only partial view. Sheesh. Then I have tried to sell them in StubHub and post with the recommended price StubHub gives only to be told a week later to reduce the price even more. I guess eventually I’ll have to give them away for free. I will never use StubHub again. Complete and utter rip off.

I live in California but was on vacation in Texas and purchased a ticket using PayPal on StubHub for a Saturday evening game in April that was rained out and rescheduled for a 1 pm game in June. In Texas. 100 degress and humid. Stubhub said I should try to resell the ticket (so they can get another commission!) but would not refund my money.
I filed a dispute with PayPal and when they contacted StubHub, StubHub promptly deactivated my account with all of my listings on there. The tickets I have listed to sell are locked up on there, being held hostage, a total of about $1000 worth. When I called StubHub, they said they would continue to hold onto MY tickets unless I dropped my claim. This is highway robbery!

I had extra tickets to Aerosmith in Las Vegas for April 18. I listed them with StubHub and got a message that I had sold them. I rushed down to mail them off immediately. Stub Hub said that the buyers had received the tickets and put money in my paypal. On the 16th late in the day, StubHub called and informed me that although the seats were in the correct section and row, I had given the wrong seat numbers. The seat numbers are supposed to be optional when you list the tickets so that shouldn't have mattered; however, StubHub refunded the buyers without getting my tickets back 1st and charged an extra 398.00 on my credit card. Now I am out over 1000.00 because of Stub Hub, and they didn't even consult me. I have been ripped off by this company. Don't buy or list with them. On 8/28/2018, I sold 4 tickets on StubHub. After the sale, I call to ensure Stubhub received my Direct Deposit info. Later, I receive an email stating my sale was cancelled. Several calls and emails to StubHub. No response, except their generic auto receipt email. My $800 sale was cancelled. After cancelling, they charged me an additional 40%. I am still in dispute with my credit card company regarding that charge. So, I file StubHub under 'another morally bankrupt and eventually irrelevant tech company' and made a mental note. If I dealt with them again, keep the bar low and document everything.
Spoiler alert: this is not a feel good story with a happy ending. I re-list those same tickets on SH and they eventually sell for hundreds less. After losing the more profitable sale, the additional 40% they stole without merit, and selling the same tickets for hundreds less, their error cost me over $500. The bar got lower. Lower. Nope, even lower. A little lower. There ya go.
It's 5 months later and I sell 4 different tickets on SH for a show on 1/19/2019. It's 10 days after the concert and I receive an email from SH. The buyer of my tickets claim they were invalid. Still not stressing. The tickets were purchased direct from Ticketmaster and I was willing to provide anything I could. Still, naively assuming this is a streamlined process created by StubHub to allow sellers an opportunity to protect their purchase.
But here’s the truth. Once you receive an 'invalid ticket' email from SH, they graciously (this space reserved for eye rolling) allow sellers 48 hours to provide a mountain of documentation. Many sellers do provide this documentation and can still be charged 150% of the ticket sale price. The hardest document, by far, is the ‘Scan Directive’. This request by StubHub is not authorized for the general public and most venues will not provide it. In addition, Ticketmaster requires 1-3 days-ish (heavy on the 'ish') before responding. You also need to check your email incisively as your 48 hour clock begins immediately - don't forget to search your spam! Personally, I received my StubHub email at 5:30 P.M.
Back to my personal nightmare. So I email documents to 'Patrick' with no last name, from StubHub's 'Marketplace Investigations'. Everything was sent within 48 hours. The only exception was the aforementioned 'scan directive'. The venue does not have a copy of the report and directed me to Ticketmaster. TM sent an email with a response time of 2-3 days. I sent several emails to Ticketmaster with numerous email addresses, made phone calls, tried social media... Hoping to alleviate this 2-3 day wait, but got nowhere.
Still not stressing. StubHub would know the response time for Ticketmaster, where most of their sales originate, right? They obviously have a strategy in place to ensure sellers aren't scammed by every buyer who makes a false claim, right? How else could a virtual marketplace, who only provide a service, justify taking around 25% of each ticket sale?
While waiting on hold with Ticketmaster, I receive an email from StubHub. The email was addressed to me but intended for the con-artist buyer-of-my-tickets, who initiated the false claim. Patrick, with no last name, from StubHub's Marketplace Investigations, tells the buyer that he was refunded for his purchase and was notified that I would not be paid. A StubHub buyer doesn't need to provide ANY documentation, photos... Even 10 days after the concert, this buyer makes a false online claim and it was assumed he/she was the victim. 'We do hold our sellers 100% liable and this seller was not paid for your order and is, also, subject to additional penalties.'
I was livid! After more research, I found many other StubHub buyers who used this false claim tactic to attend concerts for free. Most received a refund and additional incentives. I vowed to stop these con artists and ensure they didn't have the opportunity to steal from my family or anyone else's. Keep in mind, we're not talking about pocket change. The costs incurred from 150% of a ticket sale has wreaked havoc on sellers finances, not to mention create credit card debt and interest which is all incurred due to fraud and greed.
I familiarized myself with StubHub's Sellers FanProtect Policies. The policies state StubHub Sellers are issued a guarantee and an investigation where a sellers history plays a role. Personally, I had 40 sales without one claim. This did not seem to matter. Nothing I said mattered and nothing I provided would have changed their decision. Unfortunately, I was never able to provide a scan directive. This is not something Ticketmaster will provide. They will only verify whether or not the tickets were scanned. I was able to verify that 2 tickets were scanned and several minutes later, the other 2 were scanned. The buyer used all 4 tickets.
So it's 48 hours after the initial email, Patrick notified me that he was withdrawing 150% of the ticket sales price from my bank account. He would consider re-opening the investigation over the next 30 days. "As a courtesy sellers are given 2 business days to responded with the requested documentation..." It's clear that StubHub has no incentive to adapt consumer fairness to their seller policies. StubHub receives an additional 50% of the ticket sales if they side with the buyers. They are judge, jury, and executioner. How convenient... for them!
I recently opened a case for Arbitration, started blogging about my experience, have sought legal counsel, and contacted local news media. I invite anyone else in a similar situation to do the same. Stand up for what is fair and just or they will continue these practices. I will continue to update as the matter progresses and an open to additional suggestions. Purchased 2 tickets to Avey Tare in Chicago - April 6th. I purchased them a week ago and StubHub says they guarantee the tickets. The "ticket due date" wasn't until April 5th....one day before the event, which doesn't allow you time to get them, if the seller falls through because it was sold out. StubHub will do NOTHING until the due date has passed so now it is "DAY OF" event. Still no tickets. StubHub KNEW that the ticket seller was not going to sell, and kept telling me to give them more time....more time that I could have been spending getting real tickets. They finally admitted that they were trying to buy time to find other tickets, and couldn't. So they wasted a week of my time on fake tickets they didn't even have, take no responsibility because they say they are just brokering between buyer and seller.
They can have sellers that decide not to sell at the last minute because they got a better offer elsewhere or maybe they never even had tickets and were hoping to find some to sell higher.... They don't vet out their sellers to make sure they are legit. They don't ask for proof that the seller actually has tickets, and they don't take any possession of the tickets to protect the buyer from the seller changing their mind at the last minute or never having the tickets in the first place. Total scam. They should let you know that your chances that you actually purchased tickets and will get them is very small. Doesn't help that they say they will refund you... They failed on their guarantee to get me to the event or find alternative tickets. A refund doesn't get me to the event, when they cancel on the day of the event, and provide no options.

I accepted, then called back because after thinking about it, what is stopping the new seller from having their tickets revoked. I did not want to send my teenage son to the door with tickets that seem to magically disappear for the app.
At this point didn't trust StubHub and feels like a total scam. And I have spent a total of 3 hours over the last week on the phone with them 70% of that on hold. I called back to ask for a refund, just don't want to deal with this company anymore. I was told no refund is possible and since I agreed to take the inferior seats there was nothing they could do. Then spoke to a supervisor who has zero customer service skills, she put me on hold for another 20-30 mins to review my previous customer service call to see if I agreed to the the new tickets. They should spend the time vetting the sellers, instead of listening to tape of previous customer service calls.
The supervisor refused to let me speak to her superior and gave me a snail mail address for complaints. So in this day and age of electronic everything (including tickets that appear and disappear) the only way to file a complaint at StubHub is: 199 Freemont Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. After spending 45 minutes on the phone I was only able to get 2/4 tickets. After a 57 minute phone call I finally had 6/8 tickets but they were scattered throughout the arena (NOT what I purchased).

My calls weren’t answered, chat fell through and emails bounced back. So I finally just selected the option of not having my tickets (when I have them in my hand right now). Now StubHub is charging me $500.00 for no reason. This company is impossible! Don’t sell or buy with them.

My NCAA tournament tickets were canceled right before the game. They refused to find me comparable tickets because the price had gone up from when I purchased them. I got passed around customer service for 2 hours before being told by a manager there was nothing they can do. I was offered a "sincere" apology and was told I could try to buy new tickets through the site. If they had told me about the ticket cancellation earlier, I could have bought new tickets but now there are none available. I guess I will not be attending the games, thanks StubHub.

Purchased tickets for NCAA tournament in December. Confirmation email said tickets would be *delivered* by March 18th. Delivered means "in my hands". Unknown to me, StubHub then changed the delivery date to the 21st. (The game is on the 22nd) I needed to resell these tickets but now I can't because the closest date you can set to resell is the 20th. Thanks for nothing StubHub! You'll never get any more business from me!

I have always been leery of third party resale sites, but I trust StubHub 100% after my experience. They have a guarantee that most companies would try to get out of in my situation. I purchased tickets on March 12th for an event March 17th. They were to be sent to my email by March 15th.... well long story short I never received my tickets on that day so I called stubhub and after a little bit of the run around, I was issued immediate replacement tickets in my email and they were better seats than I originally purchased. Wonderful job upholding your policy Subhub.

I purchased 2 concert tickets and I was denied entry at the venue. I called StubHub and they adv me I was covered under the FanProtect guarantee, and I will be getting a refund. A day after my refund I received an email advising they needed a letter of denial from the venue. I advised them the venue did not give me a letter, I mean what concert gives you a denial letter? Now I am unable to contact anyone because a venue is only a place the concert is hosted at and they are not responsible for concert tickets. Yet StubHub is stating without that denial letter they will do a chargeback. I ended up purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster for a different date and venue out of town since I was denied entry and I sent StubHub proof of my new purchase and they still did a chargeback. Why would I repurchase tickets for the same concert if StubHub tickets were valid? Just a waste of time and fraud. Do not use this company!!!

I purchased tickets from StubHub Dec 14th 2018 for the Bob Seger Concert. To my surprise, we went to the event March 15th, 2019 and they turned us away from the venue. They said that StubHub has done this many times and we were just another customer that was sold fake tickets. Embarrassing when you gave 2 of the 4 tickets to the couple that was with us for Christmas gift. I called StubHub and they corrected the situation. I will never buy from them again, I would always worry about going to an event and not getting in. Appreciate them taking care it though. Heads Up.
