So I sold 2 concert tickets as they were not transferable via Ticketmaster. I did make a misprint on my ticket, section 110 was listed, section actually 111. Same seats basically, just an aisle over. I was honest and contacted them. I haven't even uploaded my tickets at this point as they are not viewable to me until later this evening. They tell me they can charge me up to 40% of my ticket sale, it then decided to tell me they have already lost 60% as they are eating the cost on behalf of the transaction. SOMEONE EXPLAIN how that works to me... This is one reason people in the world are dishonest. You're punished for telling the truth on an simple mistake. This is utterly ridiculous. I asked for the buyer's email so I could reach out to them, and it's against policy, of course it is so they can gouge people and take their money...

I bought tickets for 9th Oct 2017 Lady Gaga concert. Lady Gaga cancelled those dates. And StubHub refused to refund. They asked me to post my tickets for resale as the concert is now on 4th Feb and now with a few days to go and I can't go on that date I am left with 2 expensive tickets. How can a website not refund tickets if the show was cancelled for the date that you bought the tickets!!! Appalling. I hope someone is going to take legal action.

The fee is very high for customer. The system cannot match the event conditions. If we cancel the sale, then we will get a very expensive fine, and the system does not give us the opportunity to accept the order or to refuse.

I’m absolutely disgusted with your business. Thank you for making it impossible for the average person to purchase a concert ticket. It’s unfair to buy out all tickets and then sell 4-5 times what they’re worth. You should be ashamed. This should be illegal.

Pretty simple and easy to buy a few good seats to a Dallas Mavs game online. Hours before game time, I contact their CS because still no tickets (via mobile) and I am told to be patient, etc. 30 minutes before and still no tickets so contact CS again. This time I get a "so sorry" and a call from CS telling me "Not to worry, we'll be refunding you..." Really? Think my kids who were shivering outside the arena waiting for the promised tickets so they could go inside were happy to hear I'd get my money back?? Congrats Ticketmaster, sounds like you bought a ** company.

I wanted to purchase two ice hockey tickets from Australia for an upcoming trip. On my first attempt with a credit card I received a message "OOPS there has been an error" that the card wasn't recognised and try again. I assumed the site did not like the Aussie Mastercad card or I entered a number wrong. Subsequently the first denied attempts became valid and I ended up with 2 x 2 tickets. On contacting StubHub help they suggested I resell them as they can't reverse the errors. I have continued to contact them as it was their error and am waiting on an outcome.

Purchased 2 Sunday BottleRock tickets for Sunday May 27. The ticket price showed as $243 each, after I put my credit card in and pushed the submit button, I noticed the total came out to $1000.60 for 2 tickets. I called STUBHUB and disputed the charge. I Just received a call back from the "Case Manager" Daniel (would not give me last name) in Salt Lake City. I was told that the sellers have the right to raise the price on their tickets at ANY time. Just so happens the seller raised the price on the tickets while I was putting my credit card in. First of all this is "bait and switch" and secondly STUBHUB has a flaw in their system, prices should not be able to change mid-transaction. All they could offer me is a credit towards future purchases with them. I have used STUBHUB for years without a problem, but why would I want to purchase tickets from them again, knowing that the ticket prices could go up mid-transaction.

My 12 yr old daughter purchased ticket for Korean boyband "Wanna One" for IDR 6,361,189. She was told it is the official price for a front row seat. Ticket arrived Fri Jan 19 for event taking place Sunday Jan 21 in Indonesia. Ticket price is only IDR 2,000,000. What a rip off!!! If you are a scalper, I can understand profiting 50%. But 300%+ and scamming little kids??? And it is not the worst. Tried to call CS. But only listed mobile number. When being called I was told to wait for the next available agent. After 20 calls plus waiting more than 10 minutes each I just realized that CS only opens during business hours Mon to Sat. Why wasting customers' time, money and efforts by requesting to wait for the next agent, while the reality the CS is close on Sat Sun. Cannot do anything now. Except that I will dispute the transaction on my credit card.

I wanted to purchase two New York theatre tickets from Australia for an upcoming trip. On my first two attempts with a credit card I received a message that the card wasn't recognised and try again. I assumed the site did not like the Aussie Visa card and the third try with PayPal went through immediately. Subsequently the first two denied attempts became valid and I ended up with 6 tickets. On contacting StubHub help they suggested I resell them as they can't reverse the errors. As a USA address and credit card is required they suggested a completely impractical solution of sourcing a USA address and getting a USA based credit card. I run my own business and would never treat people like StubHub treat their customers; particularly when they appreciated it was their site error but still say they can't do anything.

Bought Miami Dolphin tickets vs Buffalo Bills as a Christmas gift for my husband. And when we got to the stadium and they scanned the tickets they said it was used already. Try to call customer service twice waiting over 45 min for the rep. Never came on, hung up, went home pissed and missed the last game. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I was recommended by a friend that always gets his football and basketball tickets from StubHub. I did check the reviews and they had good ones because I am usually skeptical dealing with 3rd party companies.
So I went online to chat with a rep from StubHub. They apologized and said they would call me asap and they did. The rep explained to me after apologizing that if I called them at the game they could replace the tickets or give me a refund. Which I called and stated I have screenshots of how long I waited over the phone for a rep after 45 minutes knowing the game already started we went home then I called again on my way home and that was a hold for a rep for 52 min. And I have a screenshot of that call. I was so pissed and embarrassed and humiliated I could not think. She asked questions and I said no to all of it because at that point I just wanted a refund.
The ticket counter at the game told us that only Ticketmaster can resell and verify the tickets not a 3rd party company and that StubHub is known for selling fraudulent tickets. That didn't make us feel any better. The guy next to us had the same issue and said he got his ticket as a Christmas gift as well through StubHub. Well what a coincidence. However StubHub you get 1 star and a zero for allowing this to happen with knowledge of it. Obviously my husband and I were not the only ones who were bamboozled that day which was Dec 31st 2017 around 4pm Miami Florida at the Hard Rock Stadium last football game Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills. Obviously Ticketmaster and the stadium are aware about the negative issues with StubHub. I deleted their app on my phone and will not be using StubHub for any future events.

After searching various ticket sites for the Xscape concert, I was guided to StubHub via reference. The tickets were indeed cheaper and no visible additional fees (not even to download my tickets like another site). So I decided to purchase them. After my purchase, the price increased by $139.99!! When I called in to complain I was told that there should have been an option to click to filter and view price with fees. This was told to me by an agent AND a supervisor who then states that he cannot say for sure where it was located because different browsers show things differently. There should NEVER be a choice to filter to show what I am purchasing. They offered a $39 refund, but I am not happy at all. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. It is unethical and deceptive what they are doing and it needs to be stopped. Just like the consumers can make Apple come clean we can do the same to StubHub for the bad business practices.

I bought Shakira tickets for a Christmas gift from StubHub. The concert was rescheduled for later in the year (June) and we can't attend. All the listings from the venue said contact Ticket Sales for a refund. StubHub does not offer refunds for events that are rescheduled. They have you list your tickets to resell them to another poor soul. The problem is that the tickets were apparently marked up initially so getting the face value that I paid is now impossible. I had tickets for a concert I could not attend so I listed them on StubHub. After learning I was going to be able to stay in town and go to the show, I took my ticket DOWN their site. For some very strange reason, they are saying I did not, and that I sold the ticket. Let's say it was a computer mistake and for some reason my taking down the ticket did not work. (Even though I made SURE so I could attend the concert.)
As I got to the concert, and proceeded to my seat, there was a man sitting there claiming he bought my seat. After this person being rude and saying "What are you gonna do about it?" and "Maybe you will get an upgrade"... I tried calling StubHub but got disconnected as I was in the middle of a loud concert. In the meantime, I missed 7 songs of my favorite band. So I spoke to the people at The Forum. They told me whatever the computer showed was correct, if the tickets were resold, it would show up! Guess what... Tickets did not show up as resold. They assured me I could go to my seat (by that time, who knows how many songs I missed...) and it was no longer my problem.
Fast forward to now that STUBHUB is charging my credit card $150 (for the ticket I "sold") which seems ok since I did not want that money and did not sell it. But they are also charging $75 which they CLAIM it was to make the situation right". I am being forced to pay for something that is not my problem and got no explanation for it! I placed a complaint with BBB and the rep keeps insisting on "making it right for the buyer". This last time, accusing me of entering the concert and causing an embarrassing situation for the "buyer" who could not gain entrance! This man was right there when I arrived!!! Had I sold my ticket I wouldn't have spent money to Uber there and go to the concert!
I am sure that person watched the concert and got their money back, which is not my problem but I am not paying for $75 since HE GAINED ACCESS and watched the whole show! This is so beyond absurd. The Forum employees could vouch for me and so could my friends who had seats near me. But who am I to fight a corporation that big? SHAME ON YOU StubHub, accusing people of doing things they did not and charging them too! Next time, make sure you have your story straight! I don't really understand why I'm being accused of using a ticket and the other person not having access when the person gained access before me and I was the one embarrassed after all!

They said the concert most likely will be postponed until 2018/2019. I have now called StubHub twice and spoke with two customer service representatives and a manager. They refused to refund me my $449.00 because they still consider the tickets to be valid. I asked them how long they will let this go on before they refund my money. They told me that unless there was official confirmation on cancellation, they will consider the tickets valid until the show happens. I cannot believe that they are able to do this. Do not purchase through StubHub.

I have been a StubHub Member for 10+ years. I posted the wrong PDF files to an order for NY Giants Tickets. I noticed the mistake after receiving an email from StubHub letting me know that I needed to call them in order to avoid being charged, which I did 8 minutes after I received their email. They now are charging me over $500 penalty fee. I have listed over $100,000 in tickets over the past ten years. If they do the math, that is over $10,000 in fees and I guess that is not enough for StubHub as far as profit goes. After escalating to upper management, they said they are willing to split the difference. I strongly suggest thinking twice about using StubHub as they not only take 10% of the sale for just being a hosting site, but also take advantage of sellers if they make an honest mistake. StubHub was contacted twice, once immediately from the game and then a few days later. No refund is available since I used the tickets. There is nothing you can do as long as they allow for misrepresentation of the tickets and add to their guarantee that the tickets you purchase are where you expect them to be. This is a review for StubHub Argentina. I tried to buy 2 tickets for a Coldplay Concert. I used a payment method called MercadoPago (the only one available on their website). The transaction was put on hold pending an authorization from MercadoPago that can take up to 48 hrs. A lousy standard for digital times, especially when processing a simple credit card transaction. It is deceitful to offer tickets for a concert that starts in 24 hours subject to a process that can take up to 48 hrs. Of course I never got the tickets. The chats and helpdesk are even worst, no one ever answers and if you call the call center they just answer that they are there for selling tickets and then they hang up. This company policy is a complete disregard of the client, it's like they are doing you a favor in selling the tickets. Their business motive screams “It's fine if you like it, If you don’t go someplace else”. So that’s what I will do, never again buy anything from them again.

I posted 2 tickets for sale on StubHub. I had 14 other tickets to the event. The tickets had not sold by the time I was on my way. Once I arrived, 2 of my original tickets could not be scanned. We were told that they were voided because they had been re-printed by another party. I realized at this point that my tickets had just sold. My friend decided to leave (his GF was not coming) and the rest of us entered the venue. I went to the seats that I had posted for purchase to verify the tickets had been sold. I met the purchaser and saw his printed tickets.
Days later, I was paid by StubHub for my sale, and almost immediately, they took the money out of my account, claiming the purchaser had not been able to use his tickets and was denied entry to the venue. I spent over a month trying to make StubHub understand that they were conned by this purchaser. I sent proof in the form of photos, videos and email conversations to show that this person was lying that I made a legitimate sale for which I needed to be compensated. Not only did StubHub not grant me the money, but they charged me an additional $160 penalty claiming that I inconvenienced the buyer!
I tried to go up the chain of command but the rep, Dominique at Marketplace Investigations, refused to listen to grant me access to anyone else. I went to my bank to try and fight it through them. They contacted StubHub and were told the same lies, that the buyer was not granted access (I had proof he was granted access) and that my 2 tickets were actually used by me. Both statements are false and StubHub never showed any proof of such activity, while I had tons of proof. My bank said it was beyond their capacity and that I had to deal with StubHub again. I tried repeatedly to have someone at StubHub actually review my proof, evidence, facts, witness statements and photos and video to no avail.
I've never had such a frustrating experience. I lost hundred of dollars on my tickets and was charged a penalty because the buyer conned StubHub out of charging him and they refused to see it. I'm assuming they stuck to their decision in order to save face. Otherwise, I cannot explain the unprofessional, unethical and unfair treatment I received from Dominique **, Dustin **, Kaitlen **, Rebecca ** and the entire claims support department at StubHub. Suffice it to say, I will never sell or purchase tickets through StubHub. I heard their reputation was awful, but now I know firsthand!

STUBHUB let the seller get away with reselling our tix at a higher price. The seller was allowed to do this because the seller had not yet uploaded the barcode. When my husband called to report that he saw his seats he already paid StubHub online they said they would "look" into it. They never took his posting down. My husband called back 5 hours later and they told him at this point the seller has done nothing wrong "yet". They said he had until 12 midnight the night before the game to upload them!
They gave him way too much time!! Thus was allowed to sell at a higher price and we were offered other seats. We were so stressed. We gave StubHub 4200 dollars! Our money was tied up for weeks with no tix. Then sure enough he sold them for higher and our sale was finally cancelled. They released our money but not before begging us to take some other seats that were of less value. This practice is allowed because they give the buyer back all their money and charge the seller. No email Tuesday so I called again. After talking to the person on the phone telling me they offered me new tickets, worse than the ones I had. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I spoke with the supervisor for awhile, and we agreed on different set of ticket, and he gave me 1/2 my money back.
I was grateful and appreciative. He emailed them to me and I printed them out. Wednesday night I get a message, "The tickets you purchased are invalid." REALLY! I thought it was a mistake. So I call again and it is true the new set were invalid. After more long conversations with the phone rep and supervisor. They refunded my money. I asked for someone from the corporate office would call me in the morning so we could discuss my situation, and he said, "No one will call you. We don't do that." This is the short version of my situation, but after explaining what happened to a different person every time I called in I am exhausted. I rarely write reviews, but I don't want this to happen to another person. This was a terrible experience.

Ordered last minute tickets to NCLS game 4 from StubHub as a gift. Selecting location, price, etc went fine on their site. Payment process went smoothly. The only glitch is that tickets weren't available for about 3 hrs, which wasn't really a problem but a little disconcerting for finalizing travel plans. Tickets on app were accepted at the game and everyone had a great time. Although many of the following reviews are negative and, honestly scared me a bit during my wait between payment and delivery, I would not hesitate to use StubHub again. In hindsight, would price shop a little next time but seemed easy to go with a well-known company and prices were in the range I expected. Overall, based on my experience, no qualms recommending to my family or friends.

I bought tickets for a football game. A gift to my husband and son for their birthdays. They are both big fans. Have never been to a game. I have always wanted to get them tickets to go found these on StubHub. I spent $145 on them! After I received them in the mail I noticed they have student ID required on them. Called to find out what I can do about it. It was not posted very clear on the site. Obviously I would not have bought them otherwise. They were absolutely no help at all!! They told me to try to sell them again. Chance of not selling them and just losing out on my money! So now I'm stuck with two worthless tickets! And no gift for my husband and son because I spend all that money on worthless tickets, that they will not help correct! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!

I sold a ticket on SH recently. The only ticket option available was ticket in hand, although my tickets are electronic (mobile ticket). I didn't think much of being able to 1. Change it to electronic by calling customer service or 2. Advising the buyer of the great news - no mailing needed, I can send the ticket to you electronically. I was initially stomped by the tone of the SH reps who sounded like this may not be possible. HUH? Who wouldn't want their tickets electronically vs in the mail shipment? Still not realizing, I go about my day. SH calls me this evening to say the buyer DOES NOT WANT THEIR TICKET ELECTRONICALLY and wants to cancel the purchase. Wait what? Yeah, the buyer prefers to get the ticket by mail.
SH's hustle is this; if you sell a ticket on their site, they get a very small cut. But if a sale is cancelled, the seller's CC is charged the whopping price of about 90% of the ticket price. I sold a ticket for $51, SH's cut was $5 and change. The sale was cancelled and my card was charged $41. Yep FORTY ONE DOLLARS. So you see the amount of money they make if a sale is cancelled? And I then understood why they'd rather say it was cancelled because it benefits them. I'll never ever ever use their service to list or sell anything. It's one thing to say, "Although the sale was cancelled, we still collect $5 and change, our fee". How do they justify collecting the cost of a ticket that didn't sell??? I'll be fighting this one. That's beyond ridiculous.

I made a purchase today on StubHub for two NHL tickets. Awesome deal... Order was cancelled 15 minutes later. I called and spoke to a representative to find out why my order was canceled. I was told that the tickets were fraudulent, non-usable, and that the order was canceled for my own protection. Basically, I got scammed and I should be thankful that this was caught, so that I didn't have fake tickets for a game I wanted to attend with my son. Fast forward 20 minutes later, the exact same tickets are on StubHub again, and the cost is significantly more!! So, I called again into StubHub to see what was going on. Because, if these are indeed fraudulent tickets and why are they back online? This time, the representative tells me that there was a glitch in the system and I shouldn't have gotten the tickets for the price that I did.
Then after peddling in circles the representative told me that the seller mislabeled the tickets, and the price, so they canceled the order for him. I told the rep what the first rep told me, as this is unacceptable. She didn't seem to care. Either way, this was a completed transaction and customer service handled very poorly. If this was a glitch in the StubHub system, they should have made it right with the seller, period. As the buyer, not my problem, unless the tickets didn't exist, which they do. And - If the seller listed his tickets for an incorrect price, it is my understanding, when reading the terms and conditions listed by StubHub, that it's irrelevant; and because I paid for the tickets, they were mine, and ready to download, this is a completed transaction - and that the seller CANNOT cancel this transaction, just to list the tickets at a higher price.
Either way, StubHub messed up. And as a buyer, they neglected to take my completed transaction into consideration, caring only about their bottom dollar and revenue, not me as a consumer. I'm not a legal expert on consumer trade, but I'm pretty sure that this whole transaction was handled very poorly, and shady enough - how Leah all the whole thing is, I'm not sure... And from an ethical standpoint, StubHub clearly does not care about any of their buyers. All the customer service reps I spoke with were rude, and did not care... Not to mention the first one LIED about why my transaction was cancelled in the first place. If these calls are recorded... all that information is there. I'm very disappointed and think this may warrant further consultation, as to how this was handled on their end.

A soon time later, I CANCELLED the listing and made the concert, ticket honored as valid without issue. The NEXT DAY I received a notification a purchase transaction was in process. I never received any sort or payment, credit, anything.
Stub Hub went forward to actually charge my credit card AGAIN which despite my report that it was cancelled and no one went to the concert BUT ME - no other buyer. I kind of wish I didn't have to write a review, but I wanted to share my experience and hope it will be of value to other buyers in the future for StubHub. I bought a ticket for a concert a few weeks ago. It was a sold out show and I had no other way of finding tickets other than StubHub. On the day of the show, I got to the venue in Los Angeles and I went in line. Many people bought their tickets when they went on sale on the website that offered them. A guy comes out and says something like if you bought your tickets from a third party, you won't be able to go in. I said I bought mine from StubHub and he said I should be fine, but they will check and see. Later, he comes out again and says he is going to do pre-entry into the venue to check IDs and IDs must match the name of the person who bought the ticket and if we don't have names that match, we need to go to the back of the line.
He was being general, so I believe he suggested this included StubHub. So after waiting about 15 minutes or so to get pre-entered, a guy in front of me has a problem. He explains to the guy that he got his ticket from someone else in Palmdale and that it was a gift. Long way from Los Angeles! The guy checking IDs told him to step aside. Next I came up. I said I was the guy who had the ticket I got from StubHub. He said that I will not be allowed entry and that this was the rules on the sale of the ticket. So I called StubHub immediately. After waiting a little on the phone, I get someone and I explain to them that I am not allowed entry into the venue because I have someone else's name printed on my ticket and it had to match.
They said sorry, issued me a full refund and a 35 dollar voucher. StubHub did make an attempt to make the situation right, I will give them that. I just don't understand why they allowed those tickets to be on sale in the first place. I personally don't agree with the system of IDs matching the ticket (because mine was a legit resale), but if that's the way the venues and/or promoters are going to be, then StubHub need to find a way to make sure those kind of tickets never reach other buyers. Other than that, I feel I am satisfied with my experience. Never had a problem with StubHub up until that point.

I'm a longtime, very satisfied StubHub user... both selling and buying. Never had an issue. Yesterday, I purchased some Hamilton tickets (Los Angeles) for an excellent price. Order was confirmed, and then a few hours later cancelled by the seller. StubHub offered me a paltry $100 voucher to use on future purchases. I asked for replacement comparable seats, which there were thousands. I even said I would take tickets for any of the 100+ shows for rest of 2017, and within 3 rows of my seats... there was plenty of inventory. They refused. Basically, the FanProtect guarantee means nothing.
If my tickets are cancelled/fake, then there are three options: I get my money back, and StubHub penalizes the seller 40% of cost: StubHub wins, I have not lost money, but have no tickets! Of course since I paid with a credit card (as most people do), I could have just contested the charge and gotten my money back from Visa/Amex! Either way I get my money back. Tickets' prices are lower since my purchase. StubHub buys those tickets, makes money on my purchase (difference between my purchase price and replacement) and penalizes seller 40%, thereby making money on both sides of transaction. Personally, it would be better for me if they just refunded my money and I could then repurchase. But of course they won't do it as that wouldn't be as profitable.
Ticket prices go up since my purchase. StubHub refunds my money and I'm out of luck. Meanwhile, StubHub penalizes seller 40% so they still make a decent profit. Or maybe they charge them to full replacement cost and never send me the tickets. How would either the buyer or seller ever know! If you read the seller agreement, the seller is either on hook for a 40% penalty or replacement cost... whichever is greater. In this case, the amount was probably around $1000 (considering StubHub wouldn't have to pay a commission if they bought tickets from the listings). Why didn't they charge the seller in this case? My guess is the seller was an active seller/ticket broker, and that relationship was more important than my dozen transactions per year.
StubHub kept insisting that this was a very rare case... cancelled sales don't happen too often. But my argument was that is what the guarantee was supposed to cover. And the amazing thing is StubHub wasn't even on the hook for the money... the seller was! Plus, StubHub's definition of "comparable" tickets is different than everyone else in the universe. You and I think, same section, within a few rows… maybe stage left instead of stage right. However, StubHub incorporates cost into the equation... so if I paid $100, and the tickets now go for $500, they aren't comparable even if they have the identical face value and are right next to each other. WTF!?!
So in a nutshell, anytime you buy tickets from StubHub and the market moves against you (or you got a great deal on the tickets), the seller can renege and you are most likely out of luck. FYI, there was a high profile incident like this regarding Kobe Bryant's last game at Staples. StubHub said they were going to change their policies... clearly they didn't. I'm not sure if I want to give a company like that my business in the future. Caveat Emptor!

I normally don't do this, but this has been the most ridiculous experience I have had with a customer service group. I recently purchased tickets to a John Mayer concert. Come to find out I was unable to attend the concert, I ended up selling them through StubHub for less than what I bought them. Okay; no big deal. It was my fault to begin with. A few days later I receive an email stating the concert was a week away and asked if I was ready for it. I thought this to be strange since I had sold the tickets, so I log into my account and notice two tickets under my name as being active as if I was still attending the concert. I thought maybe I accidentally bought two additional tickets without realizing it so I listed the tickets and they sold right away. Perfect, everything was going good. StubHub sent me the money for all the tickets I sold and Paypal confirmed it. This is where things get suspicious.
The day of the concert I receive an email from StubHub stating that my order had been cancelled because the tickets were invalid. WHAT? A day after the concert I receive another email stating the original price I sold them for ($99.00) was being taken out of my account as well as an additional fee of $49.50. I called customer support to figure out why and how they're able to automatically take money out of my account and lo and behold they tell me I sold the same tickets twice. If I originally sold the tickets once why are they still under my account available for me to access to use or sell? Their policies and fees are hidden and the customer support team is horrendous.
They'll sit there and argue with you and if you ask for a manager they'll tell you they're all busy. After spending 1.5 hours on the phone they agree it doesn't make sense to be able to sell tickets, but yet still have access and the ability to either use or resell the tickets again so they offer me 50% of the fee they charged me back ($24). How ridiculous is it that I have to spend so much time on the phone arguing to then have them agree with me and then only give me 50% of what they charged me back. I will never buy/sell on StubHub again after this experience. I only wish I would have saw this site prior to doing business with them. It seems they have a lot of complaints against their customer service team.

I don’t check that email every day, glad I somehow did today. Then I spent an hour waiting on the phone for someone who can assist me. Then the representative said unfortunately the seller couldn’t provide the tickets, and all tickets are sold out on their website already, all they can do is to refund me the money and give me a 10% off coupon that I can use within a year. 1. I purchased the tickets on 8/20, it’s Saturday, 9/2, today, and the concert is next Tuesday, 9/5. 2. Now I have to purchase that on the site. I usually buy resale tickets again with an additional $110. 3. Since it’s too close to the concert, the ticket won’t be delivered to my place, I will have to pick them up myself (please pray for me I will get them without any troubles).
Of course I am extremely upset because it is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. What if I can’t even buy any tickets at this moment and I have been waiting for this for so long? Can A full refund make up for this and fix their reputation? StubHub said they will give me the tickets regardless the price difference if they weren’t all sold out on their website. Oh yes? How about you buy the tickets from others and give them to me? I heard you guys charge sellers a lot of money for penalties?
And then the 10% off coupon went from 10% off to $20 off for next purchase (maybe it’s based on my order which was worth about $203. Yeah I know, who cares? Just want to point out how careful they are with their money though). Would I use their service again just for that $20 if they suck like this? And put myself at risk of not being able to make it to the concert I want or I will have to pay $110 or more afterward? A lot of people told me to try StubHub, so I did. I purchased a ticket from stubhub.com on August 17, 2017 and selected to use my PayPal account to complete payment. After making my purchase, I noticed a withdrawal on my checking account. I logged into my bank account and saw that a withdrawal to PayPal had been made in the amount I paid to StubHub for my ticket that should have gone onto my PayPal credit. My PayPal settings are to utilize my PayPal credit as my primary form of payment. I logged into my PayPal account to verify that these were still my account settings, and they were. I also saw that PayPal had a transaction for the amount requesting to draw on my bank account as the selected source.
I went into my StubHub account settings to see if there were management options that govern PayPal from within that (there should not be), and there were none. There was no indication at time of payment, or any settings or disclosures anywhere within StubHub of anything other than "PayPal" being used to complete my purchase. I inquired about the issue with StubHub via their live chat, and was informed that StubHub maintains their own, independent PayPal payment settings that cannot be seen or managed by the user, that override the user's default PayPal settings to favor their bank account, and that the only way to override these settings is to have no PayPal account associated with the user's StubHub account at the time of purchase, and to add PayPal as a form of payment at purchase time, and specifically choose PayPal credit at that moment.
Since there is no way for a user to know this, nor control it, I demanded StubHub reverse the charge to my bank account, since it was not authorized, and appropriately charge my PayPal account so that my PayPal credit would be utilized. I was informed that they did not know how to do this, but that someone from their "payments team" would contact me within 48 hours, or, because of the coming weekend, Monday, 8/21, at the absolute latest. No one ever contacted me by phone or email about the issue. I inquired again via live chat on 8/26, and was told that no one contacted me because no one could figure out how to fix my issue, and therefore no one would fix my issue. I consider this fraud, since I did not authorize the payment method. I believe interest is due me, and I believe the payment should be corrected, even if doing so much be achieved manually.
I have requested resolution through Stubhub.com, PayPal.com, Advantis Credit Union, California's Department of Consumer Affairs, and the San Francisco County District Attorney's Office. All of those who have responded so far have been in denial of having any ability to resolve the issue, which includes StubHub, PayPal, Advantis, and DCA. Since the cause of the issue is StubHub.com and their questionable, if not illegal, secret payment settings and policies, the complaint is against them, and I believe the onus of resolution falls on them.

When I posted 2 tickets for sale in the new Atlanta stadium for the September 4 Tennessee - Georgia Tech game, apparently I chose the wrong section on the site by mistake. My seats are in Club Section 212, which is on the 45 yard line (home team side). Apparently, my mistake was choosing Suite 212, which is on the goal line (home team side). I used the Stub Hub drop down menu to pick the seats from the options given. (I should also note that I had tickets sold on Stub Hub for another event and the same procedure was used. That buyer has kept his tickets with no concerns raised.) I will add these tickets were posted around July 10th, and sold to this buyer within about a week. And I had the lowest prices in the section by a good bit (175 purchase price, being resold for 395).
To make a long story short, the buyer didn't want those seats, because he thought they were in a suite. I did argue with the Stub Hub people about this, that the buyer probably has buyer remorse because other seats in that section are even listed for less than mine. So on August 14, I was notified by Stub Hub that the tickets would be returned to me. Today is August 21 (2 weeks before event) and I still have no tickets. What I do have is a reversal of the money deposited in my PayPal account (billed to my credit card) and a penalty fee (also billed to my credit card). My PayPal funds were deposited on August 17 by the way. So I called Stub Hub today about this. Megan was right on the case, and she called the buyer.
After about 10-15 minutes on hold, Megan gets back on the line with me, and says the buyer was being difficult and had deliberately held on to my tickets and was keeping them "hostage" (her words, not mine). But she seemed to have convinced him to return them to me. So when I got home, I immediately called my credit card company and filed a dispute. And then I get on the Stub Hub chat, and talked to Khloe **, so I could get a transcript of all this. She took my info, and apologized. And called the buyer and basically got him to agree to send the tickets back by UPS tomorrow at the latest. So that means I get them Thursday. At the earliest. I will see what happens. I am not going to re-list these on Stub Hub for sure. I will never use them again. But I am not going to list them on another site until I see they have shipped.
At the end of this, Stub Hub gets their 10% commission on the original sale, gets their return fee, and the buyer gets replacement tickets at the original price he paid me. What do I get? Well let's just say it hurts to sit down right now, because that is where they stuck it to me. Is this fraud? It seems like it to me. Especially where the Stub Hub rep Megan told me what the buyer told her about keeping the tickets "hostage". Thank you for providing this forum.

We purchased tickets to Harry Potter production in London... I don't know where to begin with this horrendous experience. The theater does not recognize tickets bought on the secondary market! That includes any tickets bought on StubHub. We did not find this out until the day before the show. After traveling abroad to London to see the show we were told that tickets were invalidated by the theater. Needless to say Stub Hub has been obnoxious to deal with and has not agreed to refund our money despite documentation from the theater that they sold us fraudulent tickets. Will not use Stub Hub again!

I purchased a ticket from StubHub for a Coldplay concert at Metlife Stadium on August 1, 2017. Five minutes before the concert was to start I received a phone call on my cell stating that the ticket was not available and that a substitute ticket is being issued to me via email. I checked my email and saved to my phone before heading to the concert - luckily we weren't already there!! When I got to the ticket venue I was told by the custodian that no such row existed for the new ticket issued to me. I was provided by StubHub a substitute ticket for a seat that was not even in the venue. This was my first and very last purchase through StubHub!!! Buyer beware!!

I've operated as a buyer and seller throughout the years with StubHub with positive outcomes until recently. Looking to sell individual NFL games but season package was listed and sold at game individual ticket price. Site sets you up for a negative outcome allowing both individual games and full season to be listed simultaneously which should be impossible. Also asks for price per ticket for season package but uses that as price per package. I called to attempt to resolve this and based on my call the sale was cancelled and 40% penalty was taken from my credit card on July 21st even though I never cancelled the sale and had until September 4th to fulfill or cancelled the sale. I've received assurances that my card would not be charged, I would receive callbacks and my calls would be audited by a supervisor. All not true.
The names of each employee are as follows: Yaniquecca on 7/17, will not charge my card, Brian on 7/21, will get a callback within 24 hours and Kamara on 8/6 who claimed he audited the prior two calls which lasted between 50-110 minutes but yet called me within back 3 minutes after I was told by Shawna that Kamara would audit my two calls in their entirety. Karmara kept saying what I see vs what I heard, could not recap the calls and refused to listen to the calls with me.
Both Yaniquecca and Kamari are supervisors and have claim to have no other supervision so attempting to escalate or in Kamara's case holding him accountable to actually listen to my prior calls like he is claiming is impossible. It's clear that these employees are not empowered to do anything but what is even worse is that Yaniquecca and Kumara are not telling the truth and are being rewarded for it. I would love to hear back from someone who is empowered and honest at StubHub.

I have purchased tickets on StubHub many times. And I've never had an issue. I went to purchase Mets tickets for the July 30 game on Friday night July 28. I saw some field level tickets in short left field for about $162 for four tickets. It was a good deal so I went through to attempt to purchase the tickets. When I went to confirm the purchase of the tickets, the StubHub website responded those tickets had already been sold. No problem. I could go search for more tickets that were available. So I clicked on the "search for more tickets icon" on the stub hub page. My screen then blinks and takes me to a page where I am purchasing tickets for over $400.
Well past my budget, never clicked on confirm button to purchase them and they never picked out those tickets. Called StubHub immediately but I was told it would take 24 to 48 hours for them to research it. Meanwhile the game was less than 48 hours away and I live 3 hours from the game site. I talked to StubHub 2-3 times over the next 24 hours and just got the runaround. They promised to call me back with the findings but just sent me an email saying their records show I purchased the tickets and they were now mine.
Further they stated that if I didn't want them I could resell them on the website; they would waive their sale fee. So for the heck of it, I go to the website and find that the average cost of the ticket for that section is now $23 per ticket and not the hundred dollars per ticket that was given to me improperly. The maximum sales price I could resell the tickets for was $65 a ticket. Were they expecting me to take a loss of $35 per ticket on four tickets? The service was horrible and they were less than sympathetic about anything that I had to say. And it was always myself that initiated any contact with them with the exception of the last email. So long StubHub.

I had an awful experience with StubHub. I ordered tickets and they told me they would be ready by a certain date. It seems like a very trustworthy site but they really don't know anything about the seller selling the tickets to you like if they are real or if they even have them. I stayed up all night trying to get answers of when my tickets would be coming and never could get an answer. They just told me to not worry and wait. Let me just tell you my friend and I flew all the way down to San Diego to see this concert and after numerous calls and live chats I get a message saying "sorry about your order you will get your money back." I'm very disappointed with this and will never trust it again.

I purchased tickets off the StubHub website for a Bruno Mars concert in Sacramento for July 18. When my mom sister and I got to the Golden 1 Center the tickets had already been used! Apparently StubHub allows people to create tickets under one name and sell them at outrageous prices. So by the time We got there the lucky winner of my tickets got to go into the concert. We had to go to the box office and purchase more tickets. I spent over $1200 in tickets for this concert and StubHub just doesn't care. They told me the same thing they tell all the people. That they take this situation "Very Seriously". Clearly they don't take it seriously enough. The customer service agent that I spoke to wasn't a manager she was a "pee on" in her terms... like who says that?! StubHub needs to get it together and figure out a way to monitor this better. I'm shocked there isn't a lawsuit against this company yet!

Cleveland Indians vs Toronto Blue Jays on sale for $79, and next thing I know (24hrs before the game) they sold for $9! WHAT! I do like StubHub for buying tickets but will never again sell through them. So many conditions they don't tell you about. I listed an Ed Sheeran ticket I had that wasn't going to be used the day before the concert as I was on vacation and rushing to get these tickets listed and sold. I listed on the app and uploaded the ticket from my phone without any problems. The ticket quickly sold and it seemed like it was going well until literally an hour before the concert I got an email saying the order was canceled and invalid. I wasn't trying to scam the buyer. Wtf??? Besides that it also said my account was charged $55.80 as it was my responsibility as the seller to make sure the tickets were legit. But they were???
Another reason to hate big business always trying to take your money because of stupid penalties. I contacted StubHub through Twitter all heated and they were nice enough to cut my charge down to $27.90, but still why should they charge me for a ticket I didn't know was invalid even though it wasn't and that was my intention. I explained how I was at the airport with a 5 hour delayed flight and wouldn't be home until right before the concert. So selling on my phone was the best bet. They told me the ticket I uploaded was a screenshot and wasn't valid through StubHub. So disappointed in StubHub!!! Disgusting a business like that would take my money for no reason. Be careful when you sell with StubHub!!! I wonder what would happen if I never pay the charge. Ridiculous.

I listed tickets for today's Cardinals/Mets game on Stub. At about 8:30 this morning I was sitting in my driveway and wanted to knock the price down to $30.00. While sitting in my car, I had the distinct thought to make sure I entered the full price as $30.00. A short time later I received an email telling me my tickets sold for $6.00. I thought this was more than odd, as certainly I would have recalled entering such an odd amount.
I called customer support and explained that I did not list the tickets for $6.00. The rep on the phone offered two options, one of which was to cancel the order. He mentioned a $5.00 cancellation fee (did not mention how that amount was determined). Remember this, because it comes up again. I specifically asked if the barcodes on my hard tickets would be affected. He said they would be valid as the StubHub listing would be canceled. I received a cancellation notice at 8:46 AM.
Shortly after this call, I started making arrangements with a buyer through Craigslist who was driving in from out of town. As a season ticket holder, I told him I could contact the Cardinals and have the tickets reprinted and left at Will Call for him. I was unable to do this until after 1:00 when the season ticket reps would be available to assist me.
At just past 1:00 I spoke with the season ticket office and they took my information and said they'd print the tickets for the buyer. Minutes later they called me back to tell me they couldn't print them because they were marked as "sold by Stubhub" in their system. I then called StubHub back and was told I needed to delete the listing from my account (this was not possible). In the meantime, I noticed that I received an email at 1:00 from StubHub that stated that they reissued and attached new tickets/barcodes for the game. Keep in mind that this was at 1:00 and the sale was canceled at 8:45. The game was at 3:15. I was eventually able to forward those tickets to the Cardinals box office for printing. They were also confused as to what was going on with StubHub. No explanation as to why I was told my original barcodes would be valid or why it took until 1:00 PM to receive new tickets/barcodes.
It wasn't until late afternoon that I noticed I overlooked an email notice from American Express at 8:46 AM, advising me of a $47.40 charge from StubHub. This added to an already frustrated day of dealing with StubHub. At about just before 12:30 tonight, almost 12 hours into this mess, I contact chat support to inquire about the $47.40 charge. They advised me the charge was from the order I canceled, which I assumed to be the case. The rep advised of the cancellation charge applied to the seller. I mentioned that I was told it would be $5.00. (Again, remember this $5.00 reference. It comes up yet again.)
I advised the rep that I shouldn't have had to pay any fee considering something happened to cause my tickets to list less than the intended $30.00 price. I also let this person know about all of the other issues I had during the day involving the barcode issue. She subsequently advised me of the 40% cancellation fee because of the cost to StubHub to provide replacement tickets to the buyer. The very first rep I spoke with in the morning did not mention this at all. I asked for the name of someone in charge of customer service. I did not get an answer.
At this point, after going back and forth about the intended price of the tickets, I'm realizing that I'm not getting anywhere, and decide it's time to place a call to customer service. While doing so, I asked the chat rep again for the name of someone in charge of customer service. She provided me with a mailing address. She was unable to provide a name. I ended the chat.
After explaining what I had been dealing with all day, I asked phone support to put me through to a manager, which they did. I spoke Nick **. in Utah, who immediately started using very deliberate language assigning blame to me. Right off the bat he made a pointed comment to summarize what he knew about the situation by saying I made a mistake with the listed price. I promptly cut him off and corrected him.
Nick claimed they listened to the recording and said there was no mention of a $5.00 fee, to which I found incredulous, but said I suppose it's possible I misunderstood. I was certain I didn't. I was blown away by the notion that a so-called customer service professional would basically accuse a customer of lying. Remember this, because it will come up yet again. I asked if he could provide a recording of the conversation and he said he couldn't. Nick didn't acknowledge the issue with the barcodes but continued to take a very accusatory tone. The conversation went back and forth and he said he could meet me halfway and provide a $27.40 refund. The call reluctantly ended after 29 minutes, and I was still out $20. The call ended at 7:36.
Then, presumably as a follow up to my chat support session, I noticed that I received an email at 7:23 that reads as follows: "We have reviewed the interaction where you contacted about the barcodes from the tickets you sold here and we advised that we emailed you the reissued tickets with the new barcodes that you could use. When a sale is dropped here there is a 40% charge or the difference in the price of the replacements, whichever is greater. Had 40% applied it would have been about a $5 charge, in this case the replacement difference applied and that is why $47 was charged to you."
So there it is. The $5.00 charge that Nick was explicitly saying never came up during my original call appeared yet again. Nick was flat out lying to me and was attempting to make me doubt my account of the day's events. At this point, I was furious. I called StubHub back at 7:44 and asked to speak with Nick. I was put through to another supervisor, whose name I didn't get, who said Nick left for the day. I didn't believe this to be the case at all and said as much. As if Nick ran out of the office the very minute he hung up the phone with me.
I read the entire contents of the email referenced above to the supervisor, and expressed my anger with Nick for trying to make me believe there was never a reference to a $5.00 cancellation fee, and that this was validated by the email sent by another customer service rep. Again, displaying absolutely atrocious customer service skills, this supervisor also tried to be argumentative. I told him that I wouldn't just pull the supposed $5.00 fee out of thin air. I also made a comment referencing their policy to not share recorded calls with customers, even if my voice was in that call.
At one point, he said, "Is it possible human error was involved?" (paraphrasing), completely ignoring the possibility that this could also be a technical issue. Of course human error COULD be involved, but it doesn't mean it was. Instead, StubHub was hell bent on blaming me and siphoning $47 off of my Amex. This supervisor listened to my rant about their terrible customer service skills for 16 minutes, and eventually agreed to refund the remaining $20. Even still, he couldn't help but try to take a hardline stance about policy with me.
StubHub's supervisors are dishonest and quite frankly have terrible customer service skills. Had I noticed an error on my end, I wouldn't have made such a big deal about this. But when a customer is convinced they didn't make a mistake, and the company insists the customer did, or lies or manipulates the conversation to imply they did, that is a pretty significant customer relations failure. I do intend to address this with the Cardinals with the hopes that they will ramp this up with MLB. StubHub could have done a lot more to avoid this situation.
They completely failed to acknowledge the failure by the original rep, who told me the original barcodes would be valid due to the canceled sale. The original rep made no reference of "40%". I don't care about the fact that I agreed to it when I posted the tickets, because they didn't bother to entertain the possibility of a technical issue. Additionally, I acknowledged I may have just washed my hands of it had the original rep adequately explained the 40% fee, regardless of the sale error.
It's appalling that Nick W. flat out lied to me about the $5.00 reference and said it was never brought up. He sold out his integrity in order to try salvaging some revenue from a very angry customer. Quite frankly, this guy should be out of a job. Honesty goes a long way, but it seems like the supervisor crew was focused on manipulating the conversation to favor StubHub. The email I received this evening validates that I wasn't just making up the $5.00 fee. They waited until 1:00 to provide barcodes. A little more than two hours before game time. Nobody on their crack support team made any effort to explain this failure. Because of the inconvenience this caused me this afternoon, you would think this alone would have compelled them to say "We'll just give you a full refund."
Supervisors need to lose their ignorant, condescending attitudes. Begrudgingly providing a refund (partial and eventually full) does not sit well with me at all. I appreciate the refund, but the accusatory attitudes are completely unprofessional. It's amazing that these people are allowed to twist reality or ignore legitimate concerns the way they do. Even the final supervisor I spoke with wouldn't allow himself to finish the call without a lecture about how they could investigate and determine it was my error. It's as if he wasn't listening at all. I would fire anyone who conducts themselves the way Nick and the other supervisor did this evening. I get protecting buyers, but without sellers you don't have a purpose. And not every seller is trying to screw StubHub over.

Well on this day, I paid over $300.00 for these tickets and I received a confirmation number from StubHub. When I went got home to print out the tickets, I received another email stating my order has been cancelled due to an issue with my acct supposedly. As soon I read the email, I called to find out why my order was cancelled and my account had been shutdown and placed with the "Trust and Safety" Dept, StubHub states it was for verification purposes as to why they cancelled my order. Apparently, they weren't "sure" the order had been placed by me. My tickets were then sold to someone else and my credit card still had the charge pending instead of being released immediately.
After calling, I received an email from Stub Hub informing me that it had been bought to their attention that I was in violation of the "User Agreement" and that this email served as a "warning" and the next time it occurred my account would be deactivated from further use. I've been working in customer service for 15+ years, EVERY COMPANY WOULD CONTACT THE CONSUMER TO CONFIRM THE PURCHASE IF THEY FELT IT WAS FRAUDULENT PURCHASE. STUBHUB DID NOT DO THAT. I didn't receive any phone call and when asked why don't they call, the rep advised that was apart of the policy and the correct thing to do was to cancelled the account and then confirm if the order then placed by me.
Bottom line is I lost my tickets, my money was still in pending status and no compensation was given for the inconvenience. I had to reorder a different set of tickets from another vendor for more money. But THAT VENDOR DID CALL TO CONFIRM IF I MADE THE PURCHASE BEFORE IT WAS CANCELLED. StubHub policies are ** backwards and are very unacceptable to the consumer market. The way they handle the customers accounts are completely unacceptable and the policy should be changed to further accommodate the customer not inconvenience them. I cancelled my account and will no longer will even think of purchasing anything from them EVER AGAIN.

I found out later that I could've purchased the same tickets from the venue for 1/3 of the cost. Instead of paying 32$ per a ticket, I ended up 100$ per a ticket. StubHub does not care about the fans who make their business possible, rather they only care about the profit from price gouging greedy sellers. There is a reason there is no ticket price comparison information available. They profit off of keeping fans in the dark. This business will inevitably implode. After years of purchasing from StubHub, I made my very first listing for an event I couldn't attend, and sold the tickets. Two weeks after the event I get an e-mail from StubHub stating that they have opened a claim against me due to "invalid tickets", and would charge me what I earned in the transaction in addition to a fee that would double my balance. Allegedly, the buyer was denied entry from the event because of a scanning issue with the tickets. StubHub includes in the e-mail a list of things I can retrieve from the venue to counter this claim. Yes, StubHub does not do any research, like any responsible organization would, but immediately points blame at the seller and requires them to fetch scan reports from the venue. This is a simple call they could have made on their own, and based on what I found out, would have saved them an accusatory e-mail towards a regular customer like myself.
Turns out the venue NEVER even used scanners for the event, and no one was denied entry. Yep. Tickets were ripped of their barcodes to prevent reuse of tickets. So obviously, the buyer was a lying you know what. StubHub is more than happy to provide a safe haven for scammers and throw their sellers under the bus. From other reviews you will see that sellers in my position haven't been so lucky to get their proof, and the monetary losses can be devastating. I wish I had seen them prior to my experience. I purchased 4 concert tickets for over $1100 early April. The seller had stated in the ad that the tickets would not be available to send until a later date (at least 3-4 weeks at the time of purchase). It was still in advance of the venue, so I didn't have cause for concern. Within days, I received a UPS package with a "confirmation" letter of the purchase, but wasn't alarmed there were no tickets included as the ad stated the tickets wouldn't be available immediately. After a month or so passed, I grew concerned as the venue was upcoming. I checked my account on StubHub to see the status of my order. To my surprise and dismay, on my order it showed the tickets were "delivered" back when I received the confirmation. I immediately contacted StubHub and filed the complaint with the facts of the situation. They stated they would reach out to the seller to get a reprint.
They responded back in 2 days via email essentially saying "Sorry but not sorry the seller cannot provide reprints. Have a great day!" I called and went ballistic... How is this so with a FanGuarantee 100% (not 99% as that would be sketchy, according to their own ads). They said that I would have needed to respond to the "confirmation" that was sent within 5 days or they offer no protection. Where is that policy written, I asked?? The MANAGER stated, "it's an internal policy." INTERNAL... As not publicly known or posted anywhere. The consumer is suppose to know this policy??
So here is my assessment as a consumer who isn't a moron, although being treated as one. The SELLER is aware of this policy and claims the tickets won't be available for a period of time. When the buy receives the confirmation, there is no panic and therefore no "complaint" that the tickets were not included. After said 5 days of internal policy time frame, the seller can then sell or keep the tickets. The buyer is out said money, in this case, $1100. Well, I bought another set of tickets in the same section. I will get proof that those 4 seats are not vacant. I will buy rounds of drinks for all those to get verification of where they got the tickets from. Proof of fraud... Ridiculous!!! SHAME ON YOU STUBHUB!!

We were told by the guards to go to the ticket counter number 14 to check our tickets. The stadium employee at the counter number 14 scanned the tickets and told us that there are people already inside the stadium with the same tickets and we were scammed. He said it happens and we need to contact StubHub to get refund. It was 5 mins before the game so we had to run to the other end of the stadium to buy another tickets.
After the game we called StubHub right away who said they will investigate and get back to us. We told them we are leaving Madrid in 1 day but they only called after we left Madrid and asked us to email Real Madrid too and get them to prove that our tickets were fake. We were furious since no one checks ID at the stadiums and Real Madrid will never know whether we had duplicate tickets or someone else did. We told them that is impossible but they were repeating themselves like a broken record. I tried calling US customer service and they said they will email their international office to call us but we never received a call.
We also emailed the customer service who were keep replying that we need to get official record from Real Madrid. We then replied them to call us and they waited 3 days to reply as there is no official proof received within the timeline given, unfortunately we will have to close the case. We tried calling US customer service again but now the international lines seem to have been blocked. I told them I have receipts of the other tickets we had to buy and photo footage to prove I wasn't seating at the seat I bought from StubHub but they did not care. StubHub is a complete scam - don't waste your time and money in this website.

I accept that part of responsibility. The company offered nothing, no refund, partial, credit similar tickets a coupon? The fee back nothing. They claim they did their diligence. Their website defaulted to an old address. It ruined our weekend.

I just got off the phone with a supervisor, Brett, who I wished to talk to after having a promotional code taken off my pending purchase. I was purchasing a single ticket for myself just two hours earlier and was on the phone with a very nice gentleman who helped me acquire a promotional code to get $20 off the ticket. I had to make a few phone calls to make sure I could afford these tickets, seeing I am a college student and these tickets were very expensive; more than twice what they were before they sold out on the original website. This promotional code was very beneficial to me and I was very excited to use it (I signed up for visa checkout just so I could).
When I went to go buy the tickets not too long later, I found the code had been removed from my account. When I called and questioned StubHub about why it was no longer working, they told me I no longer was able to use this code and that they didn't know how else to help me. I asked to talk to the supervisor who basically told me there was NOTHING the company could do to help me achieve that awesome discount and told me to have a nice day, sarcastically. I'm extremely surprised at the way a supervisor handled this situation, any other company would have helped me get that $20 off as a "sorry" for having me stripped of a promotional code that I was offered at first, and then moments after not. Safe to say I'm no longer purchasing/putting my trust in StubHub.

Wanted to provide my parents with a great Christmas gift. Searched for "best available seats"... and come across 4 tickets for Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers at Verizon Arena. Bought the "best available" within my budget on 12/23/16... which note was over $500 worth of tickets for nosebleeds. Finally received tickets for download the night before the concert on 4/22/17... with buyer's name and face value of $36.50 on each ticket. Went to Verizon Arena's site... and see that the SAME tickets I bought were only $15 damn dollars. There were FLOOR tickets available for a quarter of the cost I paid for my tickets.
Completely pissed off, I contacted StubHub and asked how they were OK with allowing sellers to RIP OFF buyers. After wasting 1 hour and 7 minutes of my time on the phone... the only answer 3 different people wanted to give me was "We can try to sell them for you". Who the hell in their right mind is gonna buy $500 worth of tickets that are only valued at $60? Seriously.
The "buyer/fan protection plan"... specifically where they say if they see it fit they will work to find better tickets comparable to the cost and value... pure crock of **. If I were a company with 1 and 1.5 star ratings, I'd probably try to work a little harder at making my buyers happy. The least they could have done with to offer to take the money THEY profited off of me and help me find better seats than the ones I initially bought... but nope. No offers. No nothing. Just a lot of scripted repetition of no integrity, rip off, scam artist money makers who thrive off scalping. In Arkansas, that's illegal. Lesson learned.
I may be a nobody from Arkansas but I know that there will be PLENTY of people who NEVER spend a dime with StubHub after I BLOW SOCIAL MEDIA up with bad reviews on this thieving company. I bought in one-month advance for 4 tickets of BPL game in Southampton taking place on 15 April pm through StubHub, after reading the below service commitment on their site: "How do we protect the buyer? The seller will not receive payment for the ticket until the buyer has attended the event. This way we can ensure that the ticket is authentic and corresponds to the location that the buyer has chosen. "
I've designated a hotel address in London where I'll be staying during my trip to UK for the delivery of the tickets. However, we waited and waited and when we were set to leave the London hotel heading to Southampton in the morning of 15 April, the tickets still hadn't arrived. We have no choice but leave the hotel to catch the train we have booked to Southampton with no any tickets on hands.
When asking for refund of my payment, StubHub just ignore totally and said nothing they can do because the tickets arrived at the designated London hotel at noon time, a few hours before the ball being kicked off in Southampton. According to their claim now, they are saying that nothing they can do so far if the tickets can arrive at the designated location in a minute before the start of the event in somewhere else!!!
I'm not complaining at the price of tickets here (as that have been known when I click the confirm button on their website), although that are really high. But the situation I mention above is really totally unacceptable and unfair. This is very near to the case of a fraud if technically it is not. Can someone from StubHub really help to follow up the case and send me the refund???

Beware of Mailed Ticket options from StubHub. Although StubHub has always come through for me, the latest experience with them proves that they are not a dependable source for tickets. Beware that they do not verify the sellers/or the tickets from their sellers. We purchased 3 tickets for Magic Mike for my mother's 70th Birthday. They were over face value and in the front row. Definitely the spot for my 70 year old single and widowed mother to have a fun and memorable night for her birthday. Flights were purchased, babysitters confirmed, pre-party at the venue confirmed. The option to get the tickets as a download was not available, only the seller could mail the tickets to us. What did we get in the mail a week later? An envelope with a sheet of paper with a generic printout from the StubHub website. No tickets.
We immediately called StubHub. They advised they would call the seller and find out what is going on. There was no call back from this mystery seller. They offered us alternate tickets in a lousy section for a different night (which we cannot attend due to travel/sitters/etc) or a refund. No offer for comparable seats for the seats we purchased, as those seats were more expensive than what we paid for. We had made travel plans to get to Vegas. We had the pre-party planned at the event venue, etc. There was no offer for a discount/voucher for future purchases for the inconvenience of this happening. Nothing but a "We are sorry, but we are really not sorry" from customer service.
We took the refund and now have to re-plan a party in Las Vegas in 4 days. Most of the good shows are sold out. That being said if you are ever planning anything around your StubHub tickets they do not verify the validity of their sellers/tickets. If you buy from them only take the "instant download option". Be sure that you have your tickets in hand before you make any plans. It is very disappointing and I plan on never buying from them again. This will not make a difference for StubHub to lose one small customer, it does not hurt their pocket. The reality is it only hurts our pocket, and more importantly it ruins all the plans we had for my mother's one and only 70th birthday. Thanks for nothing StubHub.

Unfortunately neither the hotel we have booked (Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou) accepted to receive the tickets for us to take them when we arrive. Ridiculous isn't? However I gently answered "Please provide me tickets ASAP as I am the legitimate owner." They said: "No because we want to avoid frauds." Should I cry or laugh?
First of all this is against the law. Once we pay for the product it MUST be delivered immediately. Secondly, I could have store my 1000 USD for those 3 months and get some interest. Someone may say it is very few. But what if they sell the ticket the same way to 1000x users and store that money in the bank? This will be a quite nice interest profit. On 1/18/17 I received an email from Kelly at StubHub. It stated my sale had an invalid ticket claim from the buyers and I needed to provide a scan report. I called the United Center and got a hold of a Manager. She said it showed the buyers entered but somehow tried to use the tickets again. She also said I did nothing wrong and provided the scan report, which I emailed to Kelly from StubHub. I had talked to Kelly prior to speaking with the Jacqueline from the Bulls, but she did not call me back as requested, after I emailed her the information from the Bulls.
To my great surprise I received an email from Kelly on Saturday stating that I would be charged back for the ticket sale plus a $53.00 service charge. I called Kelly, and while I was angry and upset we had a polite conversation. We talked for about 15 minutes - Kelly kept repeating herself that after an investigation I was being charged back for the ticket sale. She said the Bulls Manager was just speculating. She would not provide me with any other information but did say she was crediting me back the $53.00 service fee. I asked to speak with her supervisor or someone else at StubHub and she told me there was no one else to speak to.
I explained to Kelly that I uploaded the barcoded tickets and the only people who had access to the barcoded tickets were StubHub and its employees and the buyers. The buyers could have easily printed the tickets twice and sold or given away both or one of the sets. I have had no other problems in 40 plus transactions but it seems that I have just been lucky. I now realize that anytime a buyer wants to print and sell or give away several copies of their tickets there is a good chance that I won’t be paid. Wow!!! Who would think this to be possible?

I would seriously question whether people should use this site, at all--despite some transactions apparently working out for some--considering the fraud I personally know is associated with it & how they HANDLE that fraud. Here goes: Someone attempted to buy front row tickets to a game in Atlanta through them with our credit card, but luckily our credit card company was suspicious & contacted us regarding it. We denied the transaction, stopping it, and then contacted STUBHUB personally. The woman I spoke with seemed very intelligent and CLAIMED their company had "already caught" this fraud & stopped the transaction. Before telling me this she asked for information that made me very uncomfortable--claiming it was the only way she could look into it for me.
As I'd already contacted my CC and stopped the transaction and planned to close the account, I went ahead and gave her the information she claimed she needed to look into it. (The info could also help Stubhub in getting closer to being able to use the card SUCCESSFULLY for more fraud in the future, but it made sense that she needed the info to look into the situation--and as I was closing the CC account anyway, I decided to give it to her in order to find out who'd culled my card info--all good, IF SHE HAD DONE WHAT SHE CLAIMED SHE WAS GOING TO DO-report back to me on the information of WHO had tried to use the card--their IP address, location.)
The company said they would call me WITHIN 24 HOURS, and she asked for an email account "just in case" they could not reach me by phone. Well, that was three days ago and I never left the house--no call, and NO EMAIL. Should they call me tomorrow, I'll come back and update. The charge, almost $2,000 was attempted on Jan 18, 2017 and today is January 22nd. I should have received an email by now if this was legitimate, right? As it is still showing as pending on my CC account I verified just a few minutes ago with my CC company that it was indeed cancelled and the online status of my account simply had not yet removed it from the pending status on my account--they said it was. But nothing from this Stubhub company as they promised.
If this had nothing to do with STUBHUB, and someone simply stole my account info from a purchase elsewhere, why didn't Stubhub do what they said they would with the "extra information" they asked me for, and get back to me with this IP address and everything they claimed I would receive? It's smelling fishy to me.
Now, let's say they are totally legit and someone is simply not doing their job, and because I'd alerted my CC company that this was a fraudulent transaction and stopped it, they simply don't care and are not bothering to do their job--do you want to spend big bucks with a company that operates in this manner? I wouldn't, and simply wanted to share my first-hand experience with them to help you out in your decision about whether or not it is SAFE to utilize the services of this company. Good luck to you all, and thank goodness my CC company was on their toes and immediately alerted me to the transaction to verify whether it was a valid purchase--which it was NOT!
She wanted my name, address, telephone number, email address, card number and security code. Everything she needed to use the card for another purchase. If they try anything in the next five days, while we wait for my final payment to clear with the CC so we can close it, my CC company will know exactly where to look anyway!

Went on StubHub for first time ever, thinking it was a site comparable to Ticketmaster, etc. Bought 2 concert tickets that hadn't even been available yet to the general public in the hopes they would be great seats in the event tickets were sold out by time I could order. Bought 2 tickets for Section 300, which is up high, but like I said, I was afraid the venue would be sold out if I waited.
Well, general public tickets opened up today and I went on Ticketmaster to compare my awesome deal with what was available now... to find out I got hosed bad! The tickets I bought from StubHub were for Section 300, and on Ticketmaster the same exact section is going for HALF the price I paid!! I just got suckered out of $165 because StubHub allows folks to sell tickets at their price... ANY price. I'm beyond mad, but after calling StubHub was told they are sorry I feel the way I do but allowing people to sell for their own price is totally legal. UGGG... I will never use this site again and I hope you don't either!!

I continued to tell them I'm selling the entire Suite, Parking Passes and Catering all included!!! Still they insisted I could only list 6 tickets? I have been selling tickets thru them for years and paying their outrageous fees too... No longer... They have very poor customer support and a lack of just good common sense? I'll pay that 15% sales commission fee to someone else. $300,000 x .15 = $45,000.00 fee plus the 10% fee they charge the buyer... So they just lost $75,000.00 in fees on one transaction... WOW.

I paid for the tickets and received a confirmation afterwards that I would be able to print out the tickets shortly. I then proceeded to log into the StubHub account and couldn't get in. It kept saying that I was using the wrong password... An account that I just set up less than 2 minutes ago. Then my phone pinged an e-mail that my order had been cancelled for security reasons, so I called StubHub to find out what was going on and NOBODY could tell me anything. All the guy said was that some security department that they have cancelled the order and would be crediting my account within the next couple of days.
I then contact my credit card company to find out if there was an issue with my account and they told me that the account was in good standing but they did show that StubHub had reversed the charge. I was told that they didn't show why they did it. Confused and ticked off I went back to their site to see if the tickets had been sold... I see that I am not alone in my horrible experience with selling tickets for the first time on StubHub. I listed two tickets for sale to an event that I was no longer able to attend. They sold around Christmas and I was relieved to have them off my hands. Well, I uploaded the PDF to the buyer and less than 24 hours later StubHub had allowed this person to cancel their order because I failed to disclose these seats were side stage. Not only did my original purchase of the tickets from Ticketmaster not say it was side stage but I did not know this disclosure was a requirement for StubHub. There were many other listings with seats in the same section as mine that did not mention they were side stage. This is all aside from the fact that it is blatantly obvious that they are side stage seats...
StubHub gives the buyer a map that shows the exact location of the seats in the venue, where the stage is located in relation to the seats, and they even give you an image of what the view from the specific seats will look like. So now I'm being charged a hefty fee by StubHub for being "unable to sell my tickets." I was told that even if I re-listed them and tried to sell them again that I would STILL be charged this fine. Not to mention, StubHub allowed this buyer to receive my tickets! And THEN allowed them to cancel. So who wins in this scenario? StubHub. They get money if you sell your tickets but they get even more money if you FAIL. I'm done with this SCAM of a site. Never again will I ever buy from/sell through them.

I immediately contacting StubHub to confirm the ticket sale as I had deleted the listing 11 minutes prior. I explained the representative what had just occurred and the representative advised me that the tickets had been confirmed sold and advised me not to go the game and that he would complete my sale to start payment. I then went home.
Later that evening I checked my StubHub account and noticed the payment sale had been cancelled. I again notified StubHub of what had happened and the advice I received earlier not to go the game, the rep stated he was going to start an investigation into the matter. I was then assigned an investigator from the Market Place Investigations unit who again took my statement as to what happened.
On 01/03/17 I was contacted by the Investigator who advised there had in fact been a software issue that was keeping postings active for sale that had been previously been deleted by tickets holders. She also went on to say however they were not making payment as the tickets were void when I reprinted a new set. I stated the tickets were printed after I cancelled the listing and was advised not to go to the game after their rep told me not. To begin, I was a first time seller on StubHub. From my understanding, StubHub was a legit ticket selling company. Boy was I wrong! My blood is still boiling over what is going on, CURRENTLY, with StubHub. I intend on filing a lawsuit, as I believe they need to learn to stop screwing over their customers. I listed tickets on StubHub a few weeks ago because I realized I had purchased tickets to 2 separate events in different states, and obviously couldn't attend both. In addition to posting on StubHub, I posted on Craigslist. The day after I listed my tickets (Nov 10), I was able to get in contact with Ticketmaster, who was kind enough to exchange my tickets for a different date. I then went on and deleted my listing on StubHub (or so I thought I did- apparently it never got deleted- some glitch in their system).
On Nov 19 I receive an e-mail that my tickets on StubHub had sold- which as you can imagine my confusion thinking I deleted my listing. I immediately called StubHub and explained the situation and at some point I spoke to a guy on chat (I think before the call). They did not care that there was a system glitch and my ad never got deleted. I asked to speak to a supervisor SEVERAL times, and was denied the chance to speak to one. I eventually hung up in frustration. I did mention that I had exchanged my tickets for a different date, and they said if that was the situation that they would contact the seller and see if they would accept the new tickets instead. I never confirmed that I wanted to do this, nor did they ask if I was cancelling my order.
Today, Nov 20, I had been in contact with the buyer. As her and I were speaking, we came to an agreement to cancel the order, but neither of us wanted to be charged. So I spoke to a girl named Tiffany ** via chat and she told me, Tiffany **: "if a buyer should contact to cancel, we would urge to resell instead of cancel." Casey: "What would happen though if she wanted to cancel? Would either party be charged?" Tiffany **: "but if you insist on cancelling, then a charge would be applied" Tiffany **: "if the buyer wants to cancel no one will be charged."
After reading that message, the buyer began a chat with Rackeen **. She asked if she could be refunded since the tickets had not been mailed out yet. Rackeen responded with, Rackeen **: "Thanks for staying with me Jessica. I cancelled the order. Once your refund is processed you will receive an email, refund takes 3-5 business days to reflect in your account." IMMEDIATELY after the buyer showed me this chat message we BOTH received e-mails that the order had been cancelled.
However, upon further reading my e-mail it stated, "Unfortunately, there was a problem with the UPS delivery and this sale was cancelled. It wasn't your fault, and we'll make sure that you're still paid. Though you may get additional emails from us, you don't need to do anything else. We're sorry for the inconvenience... As a seller, you’re responsible for delivering tickets on time and as promised. When that doesn’t happen, you may be charged an amount generally equal to 40% of your ticket cost. Charge Amount: $400 Charge to: Credit card."
Now I was even more frustrated. Even though the buyer asked to cancel the order, I was STILL GETTING CHARGED $400?! How did this make ANY sense!? So, I immediately begin a chat session to figure out the issue. I got the run around, first saying the e-mail about delivery not being available was not meant to be sent to me, then they continued to say that I told them I could not deliver the tickets and that I cancelled the order. I brought up the fact that I was in contact with the buyer and I copied the message. They refused to answer my question and help me with my problem and IGNORED the fact that I KNOW what another representative said to the buyer. Did I receive a call from a supervisor, of course I did not. So I called and asked to speak to one.
After more than 30 minutes, I finally spoke to a supervisor- which as I read in previous comments, all she did was repeat wording of policies and never ACTUALLY answered any of my questions. She said that when I mentioned in my chat, the day before, about having exchanged my tickets, that they started processing the cancellation of the order- granted WITHOUT my acknowledgment nor asking me to confirm, nor did I receive a single e-mail stating the order cancellation the day before. She insisted that the cancellation took place because of the chat that took place the day before.
If that were the case, why did both the buyer and myself receive cancellation e-mails after SHE (the buyer) requested to cancel the order?! I received a copied message from the buyers chat with Rackeen ** at 7:19pm. When I went to check my e-mail I had a cancellation e-mail sent to me at 7:15pm. So, based on time stamps, it appears as though the order was cancelled because the buyer asked, and Rackeen ** processed the cancellation.
The supervisor I spoke with refused to accept this, or even address my questions regarding this, and continued to repeat policy lines. She stated that the order was cancelled the day before by me, because I could not deliver the tickets. IF that was the case, their policy is to offer the new tickets to the buyer and see if they are interested. Did they EVER offer the tickets to the buyer, NOPE! She never received a single e-mail until after she contacted them via chat and asked to cancel the order. The supervisor continue to say that as a "courtesy" since I was a first time seller, she would offer to only charge me 50% of the fees for cancelling my order, which is still $200.
I will be filing a lawsuit against this company, and I feel everyone who has been mistreated by this company should also file a lawsuit. What they are doing is ILLEGAL! They are just for profit, and do not care at all about their customers. They need to be punished! Not to mention, They are making a KILLING off people! I listed my tickets at $1000 (since they were going to take $100 I wanted to make back my money I spent). They charged $50 PER TICKET to the buyer, so she ended up paying $1200. So, just for listing my tickets on their site they get to profit $300?! Wow!

Evidently while using the phone, inadvertently clicked the mobile app, it logged in and purchased the tickets and immediately to PayPal. I guess it can happen.
But, what happened afterwards with StubHub personal is disgusting, they assumed I was looking at the app, and searching for tickets, and made a mistake. Their supervisors only offered 50 refund and 50 coupon, not a complete refund, because they do not own the tickets. However they were purchased over 2 hours before game time, understood that, but it was their app, which is totally insecure. What if it was for tickets worth $7000, would they offer 50/50 then? As promised you have not heard the last of me. I am sending you this email and will lay out in great detail the wrongdoing by StubHub. First let me start with the fact that I started my purchase for tickets to Insomniac's Escape Phycho Circus on 10/18/2016. These tickets were for my son's 21st birthday (which is today). All he wanted was to attending this music festival with 20 plus of this friends.
The day after my order, I received a email saying that my tickets we unavailable, but don't worry StubHub is working hard to find me a replacement. A replacement was sent to us on 10/20/2016. However these tickets were unusable as whoever was in charge of finding new tickets failed to read the details of tickets and sent us VIP tickets. That would have been great but it states on the event website that "you must be 21 to enter with a VIP ticket". I had to go out of my way to return tickets that should have never been sent to me, as I order tickets for 18 and older.
So back to square one. I had to call StubHub and explain the situation and hope for new tickets. I called every day until I finally got an email stating new ticket were being sent. The arrived on 10/24/2016. We checked and everything looking good. Wrong! At 4:12 p.m. I received an email of that my order was canceled. Yes canceled and the festival started at 4 that day!! StubHub said the seller canceled the order. As far as I am concerned the order was final. Paid for, shipping and received. I have asked every customer service agent I spoke with and no one has an answer as to why a seller can cancel on order after he mailed the tickets to me and after the event start time. (I do not believe the seller did this and after reading pages of very negative reviews, rather StubHub canceled the order and the penalized the seller to line their pockets as the buy is just out of luck.)
I called customer service once I read the email, however the my son was already at the event going through the 2 hour process to get it. He was told that the ticket was already used to enter. As a spoke to customer service (while at work) I asked 3 times to speak with a manager. Was ignored each time until I final said no more. My son did not get in and I was left with figuring out how to get him home. He went with a very large group of friends and was devastating to watch as they all entered and he was left standing outside. The event was about 2 hours from home and we had to put more money out of our pocket to get him home.
Customer service did issue me a refund and a new ticket for Saturday, well it seems that one was also a fraud. My son went through the whole process to get in on Saturday only to be told that again the ticket was a fraud. Again adding more expense trying to get my son home. And this ticket was emailed to me by customer service.
So in short you have robbed my son of his 21st birthday celebration, this as caused him and I great stress both emotional and physical. He had prepared for this show for months. I have countless receipts, emails, text and post that are time stamped and dated detailing my expense and my son's anticipation for this event. A credit was put on my account, however I have no intention of using StubHub again as I can't trust I would even get in with tickets from your site.
I am filing at small claims today but was told by the court house I must first give you the opportunity to hear what I want before the case can be started. I want the credit on my account sent to me. Compensation for having 4 terrible ticket experiences all for the same event should not be a credit on my StubHub account that I can't trust to use. You even issued me a fake replacement ticket for the first mistake. Why would I want to invest the time, money and emotions getting ready for a concert only to find out at the ticket gate, the ticket is no good. If StubHub actually cares about customer service, this should not be a problem.

Beware of Stubhub charging sellers a "40%" fee for any and every error they can find on your listing to "protect the buyer" in case THEY need to buy "replacement tickets". They hide behind their user terms, which are buried when you sign up. As a first time user, I was selling Hamilton tickets and even though I had customer service help me throughout the process of listing & uploading tickets, making sure everything was listed correctly, I was never told to include "partial view". When the buyer rejected the tickets, and my sale was cancelled, I was never told I would be charged to replace them or the amount, $589.20 to be exact, more than 40%. Charge just showed up on my statement and they aren't issuing me a full refund. Total scam. Buyers & sellers beware.

I purchased a $220 ticket back in September to go to my favorite concert featuring BASSNECTAR Halloween Party. I also booked a 2-day Airbnb, bought my costumes and I was ready to leave work early and head to Grand Rapids tomorrow afternoon. Tickets were never delivered and StubHub offered me a refund. GREAT. THANK YOU. I wait 2 months for this event for StubHub to get to me last minute saying "We don't have a ticket for you." For those that plan ahead out, there would understand what it would feel like to be in my situation right now. I don't want the money, I just want to go. I plan on getting refunded including my Airbnb cancellation fee. I'm down for small claims court if they don't refund it.
Not professional, terrible planners. Why offer to ship the ticket last minute? Why not schedule it for an earlier time in case something like this comes up? I am very disappointed with their service, it is truly annoying when something like this happens, especially when you have been waiting for two months. Never STUBHUB again period.

I listed my Austin City Limits VIP tickets on their mobile app which crashed multi times. When I finally listed the 1 day pass it sold it one hour. 1 day before the event Stubhub canceled the transaction stating I listed the event in the "wrong" bucket. The buyer made the mistake of not seeing the 2 tickets were listed for only one day. Not only did StubHub make money on me in the front end (they charged me $90, they charged me a cancellation fee which I did not cancel). When trying to resolve the matter, they were arrogant, unreasonable and not accessible.
I found the name of the VP in charge of customer service to escalate, but they refused to transfer to him. I realize I may have made a mistake, but their choices for listing the ticket was extremely confusing and they took NO responsibility for their error in the transaction. I was unable to re-sell the ticket because they notified me AFTER the event took place. They made $230 on the transaction from me, would not refund the money and I was out $900 for the unsold tickets.

I bought $220 worth of the highest level tickets I could for a concert. I bought them 2 months in advance of the show. 2 days before the show I hadn't received the hard copies in the mail yet so I called, come to find out my tickets were on hold because the seller had missed multiple deadlines for information and shipment. StubHub then told me they could still get me tickets but they would be lower grade and higher price than what I bought. The associate then found 1 more 2-day high quality pass so he canceled my order and tried to get me the other ones. These were a scam post. I was screwed out of the 2-day pass with no help just a "there's nothing else we can do". I then bought a 1-day pass to the same concert which was ALSO held by a scam seller.
I am very dissatisfied with how they treated me. There was no help or anyone contacting me. I had to make every phone call myself, explain the situation every time to every associate I called and no one seemed to know how to help. I will never buy tickets from StubHub again. They claim they protect the buyer but you screwed me out of a concert I've been planning on going to for months as I prepared months in advance and you tell me 2 days before the concert that the seller fell through and there's nothing you can do. Next time when sellers miss deadlines or you know the sale is not valid anymore let the buyer know. You guys are unprofessional and the least bit helpful.

StubHub is a company of scam artists. I am a student and StubHub did not clearly list a way to mark my students as student tickets even when all of the tickets in the section I sold them in are student tickets. When my order was canceled, StubHub charged me $1,500, claiming that this was the difference it cost them to find replacement tickets. Their website did not even display prices for tickets that would be this much to make this charge valid. The customer service people were of no help and dodged my questions and accusations in every way possible.

Perhaps I misunderstood the way this website worked but I did not realize that they were legally allowed to charge unsuspecting customers more than three times the value of a ticket and although they state that there is a 100% money back guarantee, that is not really the case. And now that I am reading the reviews here, I see that I stand a good chance of my tickets not even being accepted when I get to the event! Their customer service sympathized but offered no real help, except that I should post my tickets and rip off someone else. Why is this allowed? I feel like I was just mugged and there is nothing I can do about it. This is so wrong!!!

I recently sold Disneyland Halloween party tickets on StubHub. The sale part was great. Approximately 2 weeks later I get an email stating the buyer claims the tickets were bogus and wanted their money back. I called StubHub customer service and they told me I need to go to Disneyland and get proof that the tickets were used. The StubHub CS agent said she'd be available till 9 pm. So after work at 5 pm I go to Disneyland and they confirmed the tickets were used and gave me enough information to corroborate the fact. I called StubHub for 2 hours to let them talk to the Disneyland agent and nobody answers. Next day I called the StubHub agent and she confirmed my 2 hours of missed calls but she failed to tell me she was on the east coast. After she said the information I provided wasn't good enough and I need to go back to Disneyland.
This is ridiculous. The purchaser bought the tickets. Disneyland confirmed they went and in order to get their money back they just claim the tickets didn't work. StubHub is making me run around like a chicken with my head cut off to prove my innocence. If I don't provide evidence to their liking I will be penalized almost $500 and the purchaser will get their money back and they will have had a great time at my expense. Ticket Sellers Beware. StubHub double sold my tickets for the last game of the (in Boston-Fenway) Boston Red Sox vs. the Blue Jays... Big Papi's last regular season game. We traveled from Toronto to Boston to see this game, on both of our birthday's. They claim that it is not in their error, but offered me a $900 credit to make up for my expenses for my trip (which cost $2000). Yet, a $900 credit would mean virtually nothing considering that Stub Hubs User Agreement states that "StubHub has no control over and does not guarantee the existence..." of tickets or other items. So, essentially we would be defrauded all over again.
They did refund our tickets in full, but not before fighting really hard and having arguments with the Customer Service Representatives, the Escalation Dept., the "Other" department, another supervisor, Executive Claims Dept. and THEN the manager of the Executive Claims Dept... I spoke to 7 people and got hung up twice on. My husband and I would not have purchase the tickets from StubHub if we knew we were putting out the money for the trip for nothing. Recommendation: Never buy anything from StubHub and let your family and friends know to protect them as well.

I had priced and sold a ticket for $90 on Stubhub (received $81). Unfortunately it had already sold and was transferred on another website. I called to Camel expecting to return the money and a possible few and they charged me $152.99! Their policy is a MINIMUM of 40% charge on undelivered tickets but as in my case the fees can go MUCH HIGHER. When I had reached out to the company to cancel and asked for specifics regarding charges the employee only stated that another department handles that service and she was unable to provide details. Certainly they want to make sure sellers can provide the tickets but I could have replaced the ticket for the buyer with better seats at that price. I would hope for greater specificity on charges, beyond the fact that I will be paying at least x percent.

Horrible and arrogant describe StubHub. Their website is right in alignment with their customer service - unhelpful, confusing, and non-responsive. Tried to sell Steeler tickets through them. Was much more of a hassle than it's worth. By the way, if you try to cancel... 40% of the ticket value of what you may be charged. This is another publicly-traded company that cares more about the numbers on the street than they do about their customers. Poor design of website shows their lack of attention to the needs of the consumer.
When speaking with customer service (after being booted off their "CHAT" 3 times... This equaled over an hour of wait time for a CHAT. Idea of CHAT is for quick responses, not hour long waits), they make you feel like you should have know what you got yourself into. Word to future consumers - Don't use StubHub!! The multitude of 1-Star reviews are accurate and a sad picture of what our business models look like in America. Money first - consumer last.

I'm crying as I write this. Back in August my family and I decided to surprise my mom for her birthday. Well, she loves Tony Bennett so we all pitched in, and bought her 2 tickets (front row center: ROW EE; Seat 7-8) to the Tony Bennett concert at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Needless to say, she was super excited. Well, 2 months later, and I receive a call from Stubhub today notifying me that the seller does not have my tickets. This was unbelievable. I thought it was a joke. We did this whole presentation for my mom; we made this 10 page booklet of her photoshopped with Tony Bennett. We even made her fake tickets.
So I called Stubhub, and was told that they are simply a marketplace, and that it is not their obligation. Simply put, they did not want to take any responsibility. They told the seller will be penalized with a fine, but how does that help me? I am utterly mortified. My poor mom thinks she's going to see Tony Bennett front row and center. How am I going to tell her that that whole celebration we had on her birthday, those pure unadulterated feelings of excitement are all for naught? I will never use Stubhub again.

I bought a ticket on StubHub, but I had to sell it, so I sold it on the website. That worked fine, but I noticed you can list the ticket you already sold on StubHub again. My first impression was, "That's not right!" You shouldn't be able to sell a ticket that is no longer in your account. But sure enough it let me. The ticket then sold, and I told them, "Hey, this is a serious system flaw! It shouldn't let you sell a ticket that you don't have." And they said, "We let you sell the ticket even though you don't have it, because we are a ticket seller, so you can sell the ticket."
And I was like, "That's not right! It shouldn't let people do that." And they said, "It's not up to us, it is up to the seller to make sure they are not reselling the ticket." And now they are charging me a fine for selling a ticket I already sold. But really, it shouldn't have let me resell this ticket! Terrible company, and they don't care about fixing this security issue at all. Once you sell a ticket, it shouldn't let you resell it! This is common sense!

I placed an Austin City Limits ticket for sale on StubHub for $300. The ticket sold on StubHub before the ticket was shipped to me from Front Gate Tickets, the original ticket provider. Rather than have Front Gate send me the ticket, which I would then send to the StubHub buyer, I contacted StubHub's help chat (on August 8th) to ask whether I could change the shipping address at Front Gate tickets, so that the ticket was sent directly to the buyer. The StubHub customer service agent said yes, confirmed the address I was shipping to, and then told me that all I needed to do was provide StubHub the tracking number once Front Gate sent the ticket. As soon as I received the tracking number from Front Gate, I chatted with StubHub again to provide them with the tracking information. They informed me that they would confirm with the buyer that the tickets were delivered.
I did not hear anything back from StubHub, and so I checked the tracking information and saw that the ticket was returned to Front Gate as undeliverable to the address provided to me by StubHub. When I saw this, I contacted StubHub again to let them know (September 22nd, I spoke with Ruth-Ann). When I contacted them this time they were very frustrating, asking me why I didn't just send the tickets with the UPS shipping label that they had provided.
At this point I was very upset, since I had specifically asked about this and was told that shipping directly from Front Gate would be fine. Ruth-Ann asked me to have Front Gate re-send the ticket to my address, at which point I could send the ticket to the buyer using the shipping label from StubHub. I told her I wasn't sure whether Front Gate would do this and she assured me several times (in chat and on the phone) that my sale was protected by the StubHub FanProtect guarantee. I contacted Front Gate and learned that the ticket was sent to will call at Austin City Limits and that there was no way for them to re-send the ticket to me. I immediately emailed back Ruth-Ann and asked whether I should put the ticket under the buyers name at will call but did not receive a response back.
So, I contacted StubHub another time (September 25th) to ask them what I should do at this point. After speaking with an agent for a brief time, I asked to speak to a manager. At which point I received a call from Jerome, one of the supervisors. Jerome informed me that since the tickets never reached the buyer they would not pay me for the sale. He reviewed the original customer service conversation and admitted that the original agent gave me incorrect information. However, despite the fact that at every step I followed StubHub instructions, they would not pay me for the ticket sale. When I asked, they also refused to send me a copy of the conversation for my records.
This was the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. I followed StubHub's instructions at every point in this transaction and now am left with a ticket at will call in Austin that I cannot sell. They should take responsibility for their agents giving out incorrect information and pay me for the sale that I made as they say in their FanProtect guarantee.

Stubhub says they can charge 20% to 100% of the ticket value as a penalty. So I figure I have to pay the difference between the replacement tickets and my tickets. Basically, they charged more than two thirds the cost of the tickets which seemed extremely excessive. I asked for proof of the cost of the replacement tickets and they refused. So basically they can charge you a penalty whatever they want. They will not provide you any documentation on how they came up with the penalty. You just have to accept it. Customer service does not care, I can tell from their tone they get a lot of complaints. The worst company.

Called StubHub and was told they were delivered. Now being delivered and being received by me is two different things. According to them they were put in my mail box.
I called them again and was informed I was basically out of luck. I could repurchase but that was it. I asked if the seller could have them reprinted and was told they checked with him/her and they could not be. This was strange. If they were purchased legitimately why would you not be able to get them reprinted? It is not like they would worry that several people would be in the same seats getting in for free. I would not buy from them again. If you have to at least make sure they are sent certified and that they can be reprinted if something happens to them. This was a very expensive painful lesson.

The title may sound overbearing but it is definitely the truth. I will start off saying that I made a mistake and I understand that I should pay for it. I sold tickets on StubHub that I had listed for both Ticketmaster and StubHub. I had a change of plans therefore I couldn't anymore and decided to get them off my hands quickly by listing them in both, both below what everyone else was selling (by about 5 dollars). I didn't realize they would get sold so quickly and had to cancel my order that I sold to StubHub.
I called them letting them know that I no longer had the tickets and understood that I need to pay the difference. I spoke with a representative over the phone, getting her to walk me step by step through process and was told I would need to pay the difference between my ticket price and the next one within the same section and better row. I sold my tickets below for what I got them for at 115 each for 2 so I was suppose to get 230 dollars. I talked the representative to let her know to not pay me out and just bill me the difference.
She told me it was too late and my check had already gone out (I chose to get paid via check) and that I will get billed the value of the tickets and the difference. I had talked to her and gave her examples of tickets that would work within the area and she agreed that all would fit in the description of "Same section and better row." They were all 5-10 dollars more expensive than mine and I understood that I should be paying around 20 dollars from it. I asked the girl if she wanted me to take some screenshots of what I was seeing and keep track of these sells in which she said it was unnecessary.
Couple days later I got billed 270 dollars, which confused me a bit since I expected to only be billed 20 dollars more. I once again called them and they explained to me that I would need to speak to claims about this issue and afterwards told me that it most likely because it was less than 20% of the ticket price and therefore I got billed the remaining amount. I had already submitted to something to claims and they kindly told me that since this was my first mistake, I would get 25% off. Up to this point, everything was done very professionally and cleanly.
Upon the 12 days I should've gotten my check, I never got anything so I followed up with StubHub. No one can explain why I didn't get it and calling back in circles for 3 weeks straight telling me that I would get a call from someone (which I never did). After talking to 8 customer representative, a claims representative and a supervisor who had reached out to accounts, my answer was that somehow the ticket they found to replace mine was 270 dollars more than my original tickets I sold and my check was never mailed out because they were billing me the difference.
It was completely OPPOSITE of what the first girl had spoken to me about and was just ridiculous and unbelievable. I just sat there listening to him explain to me that somehow, out of 1300 tickets in the whole arena that was on StubHub, the "best match" one that they found was more than double of my tickets, in which I have photos of tickets that were better than my seat in the same section for only 10 dollars more. Afterwards, I asked to have my recording because they misinformed me in the beginning and I wanted proof that is what happened and there was more than 100 options at the time of my call with seats better than mine that was less than double of my ticket price. The supervisor said no and that claims won't reopen the order to look if they made a mistake.
I already knew StubHub was making money off the buyer and seller as the middle and they are allowed to. But this so called "Sourcing" team of theirs, just makes things up and then they bill you WAY over the amount. I'm very upset and literally feel like I just got scammed. I might as well got someone to scam the tickets off my hands because I originally bought the two tickets for 250 dollars. I just wanted someone to enjoy them and get some money back so I didn't have a complete lost.
Now, I have to pay more than the actual value of the tickets I bought in the first place. BIGGEST SCAMMERS EVER. They won't even let you listen to your recorded conversation afterwards to prove what your initial phone conversation was. I'd suggest to just stop buying and selling on StubHub and just sell it where you originally bought it from (most likely Ticketmaster) and forget a 3rd party site where they can just publicly scam you.

All within a half hour time I corrected the problem to put the correct date. In the meantime, I received a call advising me of this also. I advised the representative that I had fixed this and he advised that this was ok and a little while later I was charged $198.00. I then contacted StubHub at 866-788-2482 to resolve this issue and was told that my tickets were sold and they charged me on my debit/bank card for the tickets that I was selling.
I then told them this was wrong and was told they would have to file a dispute to be reviewed. I told them this transaction was not authorized by me and I was told they would review this and he would mark it as a rush and it should not be a problem for me to get my money back as this amount wiped out my checking account. I then put in a dispute with my bank and they were also going to fight this charge. I heard nothing back from them for the rest of the day, no email no phone call.
On 9-9-16, I tried calling Stubhub at the 866 number several times and it is now disconnected. I started a live chat with a representative and was told that there is no one I can talk to as they would get back to me and she doesn't see this taking long to resolve (I printed a copy of our conversation). She informed me several times that she completely understands and they will have to call or email me and she can't do anything for me at this time. She said for a mistake like this there is usually a 20% charge to the seller but in my case the buyer found other tickets so it should have been ok.
I was given the runaround and nothing was resolved in this conversation and I am still out almost $200. And to top it off my bank canceled my card and is now involved. I am at a loss for even calling them as the number is disconnected now 866-788-2482. I again called on 9/12/16, 9/13/16 and 9/14/16 and was given the runaround telling me they will contact me at a later date. On Monday, I received an email saying my order was canceled and I owe them a large amount of fee. I once again requested for a supervisor, upon speaking with her, they had told me they canceled my order. At no point did I cancel my order online, or request for a cancel, they had told me they left a voicemail (which I never got) stating they will be canceling my order, and it's based on my inquiry. There is nothing they can do about my fee, and there is no one else to speak to.
Save yourselves the hassle and do not sell on this site. It is buyer protected but it totally screws the sellers. If the buyer decides to scan the tickets twice, they can just say they were not able to get in and to them it looks like someone used the tickets to get in once already, and the second time it was scanned it was rejected, and therefore the tickets did not work. At that point it's upon you the seller to prove that the buyers were actually able to get in. Good luck proving that. I don't know how they can possible cancel my order based on an inquiry. Speaking with their customer service reps is like speaking to a brick wall, they just regurgitate their policies and copy paste sections from it. Never sent an email, never reached out first. Now it's 24 hours before a concert which I have flown half way around the world to get to see, a concert I still have no tickets, and no contact from seller.
So I called StubHub back after much time on phone. Got a number from them for seller. Called him several times and left messages with no response from the seller. Finally he picked up and informed me when he got to the concert city and determined a place to meet he would set up time and make arrangements. Seller was to call me back the next day with the details on the day of the concert before 11 am. Of course he never called to set up time. Didn't answer when I called him at 12:30 pm nor 2:30 pm. Finally 3 hours before concert I got him to answer the phone a second time. He directed us to meet at the lobby of a hotel which to our surprise he was not even registered. So we and others arrived to meet him in a hotel lobby and he was not there but was late by 10 minutes and the show was to start in 35 minutes.
When he arrived he proceeded to send us with a runner to walk us into the venue because as he explained our tickets were "paperless" and we would be scanned inside. At the venue we were rejected from entry as not valid. Runner then ask us to walk back to hotel to retrieve another card to scan which should admit us. OK 109 degrees outside in Phoenix so let's go for a second walk now on concrete and asphalt. We and another couple refused. The concert was to start in 20 minutes at this point. The runner returns now with paper tickets? WHAT!!!! Our bonus is we get to wait in line for long admission queues for a second time. I spent several days trying to obtain my tickets, long distance charges from Europe, wasting time on the phone worrying if I was going to miss a call and did I just waste thousands of dollars. NEVER NEVER NEVER use this site.
Let talk about the 10% fees were actually charged to my card at a rate of 20% when all was said and done. IMO a good lawyer could have a field day with these people in a class action suit. We got in, we saw a wonderful concert and the trip ended on a positive note which was a huge surprise after what STUB HUB put us through. Neither I nor the other couple were aware of anything stating this was a third party sale. The most unprofessional ticket sales I have ever experienced. NEVER AGAIN.

I sold Drake/Future tickets and received an email on 8/12 that I would receive payment via PayPal but it could take up to 5 days. Cool no problem... until I check StubHub's website and it says "$0.00" for processing payments... HUH?? Check my PayPal account on 8/17--nothing. So I do a chat w/ StubHub and the rep says "oh I apologize for that, your payment wasn't TRIGGERED" whatever tf that means... so she had to manually "trigger" this payment and now I have to wait ANOTHER 5 days for my payment.
They didn't even offer a faster method of payment seeing as though it was THEIR FAULT. They charge such high outrageous fees anyway. This is the last time I will sell on their site, I'd rather stick to Ticketmaster or TickPick for resales. BTW, for any of those looking to BUY tickets, do not use StubHub, they are all markups... scalpers' best site (if they aren't going through what I just went through). If you want tickets at face value you will need to search other sites not resale sites. Anyway... lesson learned!

I will never, NEVER, never use StubHub as a buyer or seller ever again! Let me preface this by saying that I am not a typical seller. I'm more of a buyer. I am a music junkie, concert addict, and this was a newer experience... or now known as a very hard, difficult life lesson. I chose stubhub because they claim to protect both the buyer and the seller. I bought some concert tickets many months before the actual event, in San Diego, which is two hours away from me. Due to it being one of my favorite bands, and they had no scheduled closer shows at the time, I bought them. It just so happened they did eventually announce closer shows to me and again, I bought those tickets.
July rolled around and I decided to sell the tickets to the San Diego show since it was further away from me. I chose stubhub thinking I was safe (boy was I WRONG). I thought everything went without a hitch... that is up until 2-3 weeks following the show when stubhub emailed me telling me that the buyer couldn't gain entry and that I had 48 hrs to get a scan report and explain why is it this happened. A) What?!? B) How the hell should I know? C) I'd really like to speak to someone directly because this just makes ZERO sense to me.
Following this email, I replied with a response of just pure confusion and so much worry. I reached out to the venue in San Diego (as asked by Stubhub) and spoke to the manager there, who was extremely helpful (to be clear this helpful person was NOT stubhub) in educating me on all the ways one can be thoroughly ** scalped even on stubhub.
She mentioned this has occurred quite a bit, and that it is possible that since I sold my tickets on stubhub via PDF, that it is impossible to trace how many times they are printed. When I asked how I'm supposed to explain this to stubhub, she said it would not be far fetched that a buyer bought my tickets, printed them a few times and either A) sold them to other people who gained entry before they did (trying to scam others and failed) or even B) that the buyer had friends try to gain entry after they already got in or gave the tickets to friends and then they tried to get in, making it look as if they themselves didn't get in somehow.
Let me explain. That scan report that stubhub is asking for provides VERY little information. It just shows 4 people tried to get into the venue, what time, and where. From what I understand two people came in, and about 15 minutes later two more people TRIED to get in but failed. How this happened, I don't know. I sold these tickets once and only on stubhub. Now I have to pay the original selling price I sold them for on stubhub, a fee to stubhub (the price they say that goes to buying tickets for the buyers to get into the venue despite not getting in with mine (?)) and not mention now I'm losing the original cost I paid for the tickets because I didn't go. Essentially I paid for tickets over and over again so that 4 strangers could see show they didn't even have to pay for!
I sold my tickets ONCE on a supposedly trusted website (HA!) and stubhub could care less about it. When I phoned them after receiving emails upon emails (I wanted to speak to someone to understand this situation and how something like this happens) I was met with the most lackluster, careless demeanor. I called it out and said that it felt like they didn't give me the time of day to "prove" I wasn't a scammer. She glazed over my statements and essentially said they've done their investigation (in 2 days?!?) and they've got to side with the buyer and basically take their word for it.
No understanding or compassion that I'm getting totally and completely screwed over. I guess in the end if you're a buyer you're golden, especially if it's PDF tickets. You can claim whatever you want, if you're a slimy, p.o.s. who has no problem lying and saying you didn't get entry when you did. You can get a free show and totally screw over a complete stranger and never have to even deal with the unjust mess that you've created. Must be nice to be the middle man stubhub. Just collect all the money and not care which is the right and wrong party. Never again will I suggest or give my business to stubhub. Leaving this comment as negative as my bank account will be!

I wound up buying a ticket for a concert from a third party, which I was not aware of, stupid me, and was charged twice the value of the ticket. No, I didn't read the disclaimers, I assumed it was just another ticket company that sold tickets directly from the venue. I have vowed to go on every review site I can find to warn people about this company. I think it is a fraudulent model. They do not offer refunds.

Purchased tickets for Paul McCartney concert the day they went on sale, found out the hard way that scum buy up the tickets and sell them on Stubhub to unsuspecting idiots like me. I didn't realize this practice went on, I believed the prices of tickets were the way it is. Found out I was paying for preowned tickets the hard way. Stubhub channels you to these tickets so they and the scum rip you off... So this is a warning to anyone considering buying tickets... Check that you're not buying PREOWNED tickets.

I bought two tickets for camping and general admission to the Lumineers at the Ommegang Brewery. StubHub sent me two camping only passes that said they were not valid unless accompanied with a general admission pass. I called customer service and they initially told me there was nothing they could do. I had to prove to them on the website what I had purchased. Then finally after an hour gave me my money back. Totally terrible experience and terrible customer service. Wasted hours of my life I'll never get back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

A friend of mine bought the tickets for a unique Radiohead concert in NYC. Long story short, couldn't get in for the life of me! Double sold. The others checked in 30 min before the concert (warm-up band) even started. So one trip to NYC for nothing - check. No concert - check! No money - check! Did I mention they were 3x more expensive than the price written on the actual ticket? Even the band (Radiohead) was so angry with all these scalpers that they wanted to cancel the show when the tickets were sold out 1 minute after they were up for sale on Ticketmaster. All these websites (especially Stubhub) are in cahoots with the scalpers and making profit out of people who only wanna see a band normally.

I sold paper tickets on StubHub. When I went to upload them I was told I could not upload scanned pdfs. I offered to drop the original tix off with the buyer (who lives a few miles from me) but was told to mail them UPS instead. I dropped the tickets off at a UPS shipping depot. But they did not arrive in time with the buyer. Now I have no tickets, my account has been charged a penalty, the buyer can't go either. StubHub may reimburse me the penalty, but I'm still out the cost of the tickets. I wish I had just sold the tickets on eBay or Craigslist.

I bought baseball tickets about a month ago and my credit card co cut off my card and said that it suspected fraudulent use of my card. So after contacting StubHub to see what happened I got a snarky woman who said there never was a charge and that it was my credit card's fault. So shame on me for buying tickets from these guys again!!! And the same thing happened!!! They charged my card twice!!! They tell you that there never was a second charge. They call it a "failed purchase" that was voided. But believe me... It shows up on your statement as a CHARGE and a REFUND... Not a "failed charge" and a "void". I asked the guy... "How can you void the purchase if there never was a purchase to begin with? You don't void things that don't exist!!!" DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

I went to StubHub at the last minute to buy tickets for an event that was scheduled for that evening. Found 2 tickets and went to purchase them. After paying for the tickets, I went to download them and seen that they were not available to be downloaded at the moment. Tickets stated seller has until day of event to upload the tickets. Well it was the day of the event and tickets were not uploaded. Spoke to StubHub and they told me that sellers can wait until tickets are sold before uploading but most sellers upload right away.
After getting the runaround from StubHub I finally got a refund for both orders but yet the seller isn't out any money and they kept his order in tacked because they said it is not his fault. Now I get that entirely but StubHub should CLEARLY state (which they do not) if certain tickets are not uploaded yet that way the buyer can know that if they buy these tickets they won't be available right away. I suggested that and appreciated the refund but now I am out and can't go to the event because there are no more tickets and not only that, I won't have my refund right away! Last time I use StubHub!

I purchased 2 tickets for a very important concert for my husband and I 6 months away. We bought them on Stubhub almost twice more than the face value. After a couple of weeks, StubHub contacted me to tell me they were sorry but the person who sold their tickets to me didn't have them anymore... Consequently, since they didn't have any of the same VALUE on their website or in Get Me In (the only other website they are allowed to substitute) from only for the same price you paid for them, they had no choice but just refund me!!! This nasty experience cost me an additional £100 in order to replace the tickets after I received the refund. They HAD tickets for the same event and same seating available, but the sale prices were too high for them to substitute (about 30 more). This in my eyes in UNACCEPTABLE, and I will never buy from them again.

My son wanted to see Phish for his 21st birthday and we realized that the tickets were sold out. The tickets are usually $45. He really wanted to go so I bought him a ticket on StubHub and it ended up costing me $161.10. This is a colossal ripoff and I will never again use StubHub for anything. StubHub takes gross advantage of customers and I urge someone in the business world to come up with a better system for resale that doesn't line the pockets of a corporation and rob music fans.

After viewing many seats I found a view that displayed no obstructions. I paid more for the seats than I usually would as I was bringing friends from out of town to the game. They were very excited to see a game. To say the least, the seats were terrible. We had 3 seats and in only one could you see home plate. Let me clarify. You could see the batter not the ump or catcher. The other two seats could only see an I beam. How sad. I even spoke with a customer representative asking for seats with no obstruction and asked about the seat I viewed online. I was assured there was no obstruction. Felt bad for my friends. Shame on you StubHub for intentionally misleading a well-meaning customer.

I attempted to use the website to sell tickets. For two days it would not upload the information. Then I am required to either take payment by PayPal or payment by check. I do not have a PayPal account nor do I want one and should not be forced to open one by a website. Further payments by check can be made by bad checks so that is not a good option either. This information should be posted clearly before I wasted my time. I will not attempt to use this site to sell again nor will I use it to buy.

I bought tickets for EDC Las Vegas. The event is on Friday (I bought the tickets 3 months before the event) and I won't get tickets till Wednesday, two days before the event. It works for some people but I want my tickets earlier than that. I used their sell option to resell the tickets, and I took a $30 service charge. I thought the original seller will send it to the new buyer but nope, the tickets is going to my address so I have one day to get the tickets to the new buyer. If I don't get it on time I'll be paying another fee. I had ups redirect the tickets to their last minute pickup center. I lost a lot of money going through this whole ordeal. Their system doesn't work. I'm never using StubHub again.
