I typically do not write reviews unless I am angry. However I am trying to give back and StubHub deserves a good review. I was purchasing my tickets for Euro 2016. My tickets did not arrive via UPS even though UPS confirmation said it did. I called StubHub and emailed. They called me back and tried to get me new tickets. Unfortunately, the venue was sold out. They gave me a full refund on my Visa. The fellow, Mitch, on the phone was super helpful. Although I am SUPER sad I do not have tickets to the game, I am still hopeful I will score some tickets at the door in France.
I am travelling from Canada to visit Europe in general, but catching a game would be a cool experience for a Canadian. I have used StubHub for many NFL and NHL games and never had an issue. I prefer the direct download so I know I get my tickets. I have ZERO trust in the FedEx and UPS system. But, Euro tickets were hard copy only. So I took my chances and lost, but I don't believe this was the fault of StubHub.

I sold 2 tickets on StubHub on 5/17/16 and am owed $270. The site says payment will be made to my PayPal account within 5 business days but I have received nothing. When I didn't receive payment, I called them on 5/25, and they acknowledged there was some problem, pretty much blaming PayPal, and said I would have payment by the end of the day. Nothing happened. I contacted them again on 5/27/16 via their chat feature and the rep said that I had to wait ANOTHER 3 to 5 days because when I called on 5/25 they had to cancel my first payment processing. And why is that MY fault and why did the previous rep say I would get my money by the end of the day on 5/27??? This second rep via chat actually PROMISED I would have my money in 3 to 5 days. But here I sit with no money.
In addition, while their site shows that I sold the tickets, it has never once said in their payment processing section that they are processing a payment to me. It says there is no payment being processed. I have purchased and sold tickets on StubHub in the past and never had any problems. Based on the reviews here and the number of others having problems either with selling or buying tickets from StubHub, I will never use their site again. I have one ticket left for sale there and I plan to remove it.

Had never used this site before. I bought tickets for a concert in New York, 3 months in the future. Noticed somewhere after that it had a "guaranteed ship date" of 2 days before the concert. We all buy stuff online today. They give us a ship date, most times it gets there early. I just assumed that the seller had the goods and they would be coming in a reasonable time. Ended up, couldn't go. Went to resell the tickets on StubHub. It was asking me to ship them. I contacted StubHub, found out the dirty truth. If the buyer doesn't agree to the fall for the same scam I did, then they are going to charge me 20%. Thing is, this could be a scam, won't know until 3 months out.

Stubhub is a complete ripoff. My husband plans a super awesome getaway to Vegas, for he and I, after returning from a 7 month deployment to include a set of JLo tickets and what we thought were going to be super amazing seats, not so much, but you would think for the price my husband paid the seats would have been at least "enjoyable". Not only did we realize once the ticket was printed that the original price was $169.00 each and we paid nearly $500.00 each, we had to stand almost the entire time of the show and it was still hard to see JLo's performance; the couple next to us actually left because they were unable to see anything at all. Who would have thought sitting center and only a few rows from the stage that it would require you to stand on tiptoes to see a performance?

I spent over 300 dollars and there was NOTHING they could do? ARE YOU ** KIDDING ME??? So I ended up eating the tickets, didn't get to go to the game, AND WILL NEVER use this website again. I tried to use StubHub to sell some tickets recently. I'm not a professional ticket broker, I simply had something come up and was unable to go to the event. I specifically requested that the tickets not expire until the date of the event. Much to my surprise I received an e-mail that the listing had expired, days prior to the event. When I contacted customer service, they acknowledged that the mistake was on their end, but they were completely and totally unable to fix their mistake. Complete incompetence and that incompetence resulted in my having to eat the tickets. Very unhappy with my experience and will never use StubHub again to sell or buy tickets.

StubHub seems to have very accessible, but extremely poor customer service, especially in regards to accurate and timely delivery of payment. StubHub still owes me about $800 (for an event that occurred last month and with an original payment processing date that was also about a month ago). There is very little alignment across their departments, as I have been told several different things by different representatives. Additionally, they have very apparently made clerical mistakes on an alleged check that was sent out - ex. incorrect payee on the check, no addressee name on the mailing label - which they not only failed to take accountability for, but also have not followed up on. Despite their "FanProtect Guarantee" statements, I have no idea when and if I will ever receive my reimbursement, but hope that this serves as a fair warning to anyone who is considering using StubHub for their ticketing needs!

So like a typical 800 number I talked to someone for 10 minutes, to the be told "I will transfer you to someone else" who then wanted me to take a picture of all the gift cards and email them pictures of the cards! Now I've got 45 minutes wasted trying to load gift cards. I had to hang up and spend an additional $200 on my credit card and I now have $200 in gift cards for StubHub that I still can't use. :( StubHub website user interface is GARBAGE. I went to the box office where they only referred me back to calling StubHub. They said they couldn't do anything. StubHub runs some line past Father about how they're set up so that cancellation isn't possible. Father asks how a transaction that hasn't been posted by the bank can be finalized and is advised to "put the tickets up for sale to get some of your money back". I had a friend purchase tickets for the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters for me as he spoke French and I do not. When I could not make the planned trip to Monte-Carlo, I placed 6 e-tickets for the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters quarters/semis/and final (2 each) for sale on the UK Stubhub site (they were the ones handling that event). Initially, I had problems uploading the tickets... There was some kind of security error. I changed the security permissions on the e-tickets and managed to get them uploaded, and then all looked ok online. When I went online to change the price a few days later, the application kept telling me there was an error, "Try Again".
When I tried again, the same error box came up. I contacted both the US and UK help desks numerous times and both help desks told me all was ok with the listing. My concern was that no one could actually buy the tickets with this error. I tried to perform a fake buy to see if anyone could access them but they do not allow you to buy your own tickets. I asked the help desk to perform a fake buy to make sure the offering was accessible, but they said they could not do that.
Additionally, Stubhub took down my listing 2 days before each event day even though they had the e-tickets in hand. The help desk told me I should have been able to sell up to the last minute in that case, but they never did anything about it. Mine were the only tickets that did not sell in the end ($1500+ worth of tickets) and they were excellent tickets - Row 3. So I was out the money for the tickets. Then a few days later I receive a call from AMEX telling me they had a fraudulent charge for UK air tickets and pizza on the card I had provided Stubhub. Since Stubhub was the only company in the UK I had dealt with, I assume access to my card info was obtained through them. Now I am going through the inconvenience of having a new AMEX card issued. BEWARE.

There was two different buyers - 1 buyer in CA and one in NV. I sold the tickets at face value of $1,250 each. Each buyer purchased 4. Anyhow both shipped out next day. For any unknown reason although both packages were due to delivery by end of day on Friday one order was delayed in UPS system for the whole weekend. That monday around 2 phone goes off - email stating buyer gets tickets, payment will process. 10 minutes exactly later StubHub calls. Says they need to hold payment until I provide proof of sale for the listing that was a delayed delivery (Delayed by UPS, not me. Shipped with other pair of tickets, exact same time, same due delivery date). I tell rep, "Ok, just email me whatever proofs you need and I will send in today".
Seconds, I ** you not seconds from hanging up. Cancelled sale, money reversal. My credit card is charged $1,000.00. No joke. Seconds. I received two emails within 5 seconds of speaking to what seemed like a reasonable rep. Buyer complaint. Ok. I send receipt of purchase and anything you need. ** Joke. I was robbed. Not only did StubHub rob me clean of $5,000 dollars worth of ticket sales But charged my Credit card $1000.00 as well, closed my account to insure I have no way to file any suit, and their customer service reps now say I need to send in a front and back copy of both my drivers license and my credit card.
Not joking or making this up. They paid me out $4,5000 on one sale. Within 2 days other sale flat robbed me of, then charged my credit card for $1,000 in tickets. I have used StubHub for quite some time, and one day they accidentally charged my credit card three times. I called StubHub and they can't seem to figure out why, so I disputed my credit card. A few weeks later I get an email saying my account is locked, so I called and they said it was because of a chargeback on my account. I gave them the reason why I issued the chargeback, and they finally admit it was their mistake, so they said if I drop the chargeback they will refund the charges, so I did, but they did not lock my account. Keep in mind that I had purchases and tickets for sale on the account, so time couldn't be wasted. I was told my account would be fixed within 72 hours, I waited, nothing happened. I called about 10 times, and I got the same ridiculous answer, a department is handling your situation and they cannot be reached by phone, what is your best number for them to contact you, no kidding I got this answer so many times!
Weeks passed and I kept getting the same repetitive response. So finally I was told to create a new account to sell the tickets that I had, so I did, then eventually that account was locked as well. And when I called and told them what happened, I received the same message, over and over again. Finally I received a response from them saying I am banned from StubHub. I DID NOTHING WRONG, STUBHUB CHARGED MY ACCOUNT FOR THEIR MESS UP! Their customer service is terrible and their company is flawed!
StubHub is a dying company. The only reason their company survives is because Ticketmaster has print-off tickets, but what is funny is that Ticketmaster is actually getting rid of print-off tickets, and StubHub will not have anything left. Ticketmaster re-sale is the best way to buy tickets, they just need to update all their stuff and they will soon be the powerhouse in ticket resale. With StubHub the buyer can complain about anything they want and get their refund if they wanted to. It is nuts how flawed their company is.

Before the following event, I had spent well over $25,000 over the years buying tickets on Stubhub. Bought 6 fantastic dead center tickets for NFR Finals months in advance. Order was confirmed and set to be delivered about 4 weeks before the event day. Fast forward to 3 weeks before the event, I still have no tickets nor has tracking shown up.
I call in. Customer services reaches out to the seller. CS comes back to me to tell me that seller who happens to be a "large seller" does not possess those tickets, even though he created a shipping label on UPS, and that they will have to forward my order to their fulfillment department but not to worry because I am covered by the fan protect guarantee and I'll get equivalent or better. (Rep emphasized that 99% of the time the buyer will get better seats.) I pointed out that the demand had gone through the roof since the time I purchased and had no intentions of paying more, and again I was pacified by the rep telling me not to worry, that when they find substitute tickets it'll be at the seller's expense.
So I wait another week. I call back, still nothing that they've found. They offer me a refund. I tell them no, they've had my money tied up for months and want them to abide by their own fan protect guarantee and promises made to me. Flash forward 2 days before the show. I get a call telling me all that is available in the entire arena for 6 tickets are these seats all the way in the upper level... they literally waited until there were no options. At that point they basically tell me in so many words to take it or get a refund. I begrudgingly tell them, No, I need what I ordered, flights and hotels have been booked, and I pointed out that there were plenty of options available 2-4 weeks out when they knew about the issue, they just refused to buy more expensive tickets. I'm met with, an I'm sorry but there is nothing they can do about it now.
We go in circles with this for a while. I hang up, and email one of their higher ups whose email I had been given weeks before. I never received a response to that email. Instead, I received the following: "This email is to notify you we had to cancel order for the National Finals Rodeo. I understand you were willing to wait and see if there are other options being posted in those specific sections you were referencing. Unfortunately there are still no listings within those sections and if there were to be listings in those sections we would expect they would be priced higher than those which are lesser seats. For the inconvenience we will provide you a full refund and $150.00 coupon to your Stubhub! account which will be available to you immediately. If you do see tickets in the sections you are interested in, you can feel free to order them. If you have questions or concerns please call us at 866-788-2482."
So in other words, their fan protect guarantee is garbage. They have no guarantee. If you are smart and buy tickets before the prices go up, and then happen to get screwed by a seller, they do nothing more than give you $25 per ticket as an inconvenience... and I have a pretty good hunch that they still charged that seller a lot more than $150. My original order was for around $300 a ticket but the prices for equivalent tickets 3 weeks out were at $450 a ticket. 2 weeks out they were $550, 1 week out they were over $600 and eventually they sold out... except for the ones that were in the upper level. And that's how you lose a long time customer.

I have been a long time Stubhub customer who has purchased and sold tickets for many years on Stubhub. I have tickets to the 2016 Final Four which I purchased for my own use but will not be using and want to resell. Because these tickets were purchased through the NCAA, they reside in an electronic account with Flash Seats, another ticketing agency that Stubhub does business with. Stubhub has provisions in place to allow these types of tickets to be resold but they are restricting the resale of these tickets to only "very large volume ticket sellers" (aka, ticket brokers and scalpers). This is essentially "screwing" the casual seller, like myself, who is just looking to dump tickets they can't use. Stubhub clearly has no interest in providing a service to a casual user and I will be looking to take my small, casual ticket business elsewhere.

I bought 4 tickets to a show on Stubhub.com. My brother and his girlfriend ended up not being able to go so I listed 2 of the tickets on Stubhub to resell. I couldn't get the price change feature to work on their website, so I had to delete the listing and re-post it each time I wanted to change the price. (very annoying) I kept changing the price to a lower price because the show was getting close and I didn't want to get stuck with extra tickets. I got an email one day saying that my tickets were sold. Good, all done then. Well that's what I thought anyway...
About a week later I got an envelope from Stubhub. I knew it was the check I had been expecting, so I didn't bother opening it right away. Then a day or so later I got another envelope. I thought it was weird, so I opened them both and to my surprise they had sent me two checks. The one that had came before was for an incorrect amount so I figured they saw their mistake and sent me a new check with the correct amount, so I discarded the first check.
A couple days after the show I noticed my credit card had been charged for the amount of the first check plus another charge for $38. I called Stubhub to ask what was going on and they said the amount for the check was because they sent me that check in error (and assumed I cashed it). Then they said the $38 was because I "double sold" the tickets and they had to pay for 2 other people to get into the show. What?! I never at any point "double sold" any tickets!
After spending over an hour on the phone, they finally conceded that the mistake was on their end and agreed to refund me the entire amount. Oh, and this was only after the first representative passive aggressively accused me of possibly "giving the other tickets to friends." What?! The second representative was nicer, but was still implying that this was somehow my fault saying that I re-listed them several times. Well no **. I re-listed them to change the price because the price change function wasn't showing the price change whenever I refreshed the browser!
After thinking about what could have possibly gone wrong here, I've concluded that their website is full of issues/glitches. First of all, if I have tickets for sale, and they sell, then why would the site let them sell again from the same user? If I go in and try to re-list them for a different price thinking they haven't sold yet, then the site should say something along the lines of "hey buddy, they've already sold." Apparently, that's not what happened.
Bottom line, I'm due a refund, they say it's on the way, but we'll see. Also, I feel bad for the other two people who thought they were going to have great seats next to me like the two people that DID buy my tickets. Wasn't their fault either that Stubhub's site is screwy, and I would be equally mad if I showed up and they said my tickets were no good.
After reading some of these other reviews, I'm wondering if this is why so many people think they bought "fake" tickets. I don't think they're fake, I think the website sold them twice and the second party to show up gets the shaft. Use Stubhub at your own risk! I know I'll never use them again. If I can't get tickets directly from the vendor from now on, then I guess I'm just not going, because this has been a nightmare.

Bought online tickets thru Stubhub for a hockey game. When we tried to use the tickets to enter the arena, we were told they had already been used. We called Stubhub who immediately said they would issue us replacement tickets. The arena, however, wanted to charge us $30 to print the tickets for us. We ended up buying replacement tickets directly from the arena. Contacted Stubhub today and they have launched an investigation into the seller and have already issued us a full refund plus a $20 credit towards a future purchase. I have used Stubhub for years and trust them completely. Was extremely pleased with their quick resolution and kind customer service.

I have purchased a lot of tickets through StubHub. On three recent purchases, I was very surprised at what happened. I purchased tickets for three baseball games in Anaheim. I live in Chicago. The tickets for the first date were said to be delivered by UPS. It wasn't until after I purchased the tickets that it became clear that UPS would deliver the tickets to my home a few days before the game - when I would already be in California. Their website says that UPS delivery is "In progress" - an outright lie since they won't be sent for nearly two months. So I would advise anyone purchasing tickets from StubHub for UPS delivery to make sure that the tickets will arrive in time to be used.
The tickets for the second and third dates were said to be "electronic" delivery. It wasn't until after I purchased the tickets that it became clear that "electronic" delivery was on the same day as the game. For both of these purchase, their website says "Waiting for upload." It should say "Waiting two months for upload" since that is the truth. So apparently I need to bring a computer and a printer with me to California if I expect to download these tickets, print time, and use them. When I contacted StubHub, they assured me that I could pick them up in some office somewhere in Anaheim. Well, I don't expect to have a car in Anaheim. Apparently Stubhub thinks the best use of my vacation time is going to their remote office THREE TIMES to get tickets for three games.
I won't say any more about StubHub. I shouldn't have to. Anyone using StubHub should take the necessary actions to avoid being surprised. If tickets aren't to be sent by UPS in a timely manner or available for "electronic" download in a timely manner, then StubHub should have a pop-up to make sure that the buyer knows what the buyer is getting into. Stubhub's response to these issues is that they are not the seller. They are just the middleman. Well, they get a HUGE fee for being the middleman, and it would be good policy for them to make sure that the buyer is aware when delivery of tickets bought months before an event will, in fact, be made 0-3 days before the event. That's called "customer service" - something that StubHub apparently does not understand.

For the Metallica concert (Feb 6) in San Francisco, CA, I purchased tickets on this website. After purchasing the tickets, I realized that both the price AND the service fees were much higher compared to Ticketmaster. How is that possible? When I called them I was on hold for 45-50 minutes!!! The customer service was incompetent and was not at all helpful in resolving the matter. NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM STUBHUB. Last summer 2015, I purchased $200 in tickets for my parents' anniversary to see ZZ Top. On the DAY of the concert, they checked to see in with the venue in Atlanta before they left to discover one of the band members had fallen and broken his hip and the concert was cancelled. Not only did we not receive a notice about this via email or phone call, but I NEVER received money back or a notification of a rescheduling of the concert.
I have since then emailed them twice with the original confirmation ticket number and have not heard a word from them in the 7 months since this has happened, except for recently where I was told they were busy due to weather related issues with tickets and customers, etc. I am FURIOUS that they would not do anything to try and rectify this, nor contact me and will be happy to let the entire social media world know about it. Not to mention it was a lousy let down for my folks on an anniversary. Keeping the money is called THEFT! Thanks StubHub.

This may or may not happen, but I purchased tickets for a price better than what are being sold for Bruce Springsteen on StubHub. I already have received my paper tickets for another show through Ticketmaster. I asked StubHub, as the tickets have been delivered to the StubHub seller already, but he hasn't shipped them, if he finds a higher price for them and cancels last second (he can do so 2 days before event) what prevents him? The seller is penalized 20%, but if he can make a significant profit by cancelling, 20% is minor. I get a refund, but there would be no chance I would get equal tickets for that show, as there is such a high demand. The moral... very little prevents a scalper from cancelling a sale, if he can make more money somewhere else. That said, the customer service agent was very helpful at trying to relieve my angst.

Stubhub used to be easy to use. Listing tickets was relatively painless and the site gave all the necessary information. When you listed a price it gave you the price the buyer would see and the payout the seller would receive. For some unknown reason, Stubhub decided to change the site! Now, when you list tickets you can't see the price the buyer sees. You have to enter a price and use trial and error. Also, the new site doesn't show other listings. You have to open another window and search listings as if you're a buyer. Further, the edit feature is so hard to use it is almost impossible to change the listing price once it is set. It seems Stubhub has employed programmers who don't have a clue about selling tickets. I'm a season ticket holder who can't get to all the games so I sell some of them. I'm looking for a different site because I'm done with Stubhub.

They "had no way" of reaching them immediately, and assured me I would receive a call back "ASAP." 16 hours later, I'm eating lunch at work and decide to follow up with them. I spoke to customer service who, after a few minutes on hold, told me the issue was with my bank, CITI. I hung up and immediately called my bank, and logged into my account online. The charge for close to $500 showed up on the card, and the representative told me there was no issue on my end.
The StubHub team falsely stated the issue was with my bank, and reiterated the statement, refusing to accept responsibly or find a solution that would allow me to purchase the tickets for a concert I would LOVE TO GO TO. I called StubHub, having spent nearly 2 hours on this, who were still unable to explain why my account was locked, and were unable to "push the transaction through," offering no further explanation, assistance or solution. A couple weeks ago, I was selling 4 tickets to a college football game and just before the deadline, I went in to lower the prices...didn't work. I clicked several options several times and never did get to the page to lower the prices. I went round and round in the same circle. This week I was selling 2 tickets to a college football game. I listed them last week near the lower end of what others were priced at. Yesterday, I lowered the prices to where they would have sold and quickly. All looked well... Today I received an email reminding me of the upcoming expiration date of my listings. I opened that email...to see that StubHub had me with NO listings!
I tried to re-list them at a definite selling price and again went around and around in the same circle. I have tickets-in-hand, thus that sell was also prevented by the illogical, unreasonable, ever-changing, obscure means that StubHub offers. Thanks StubHub!!
The options are not clear. I pick one and then proceed only to learn it won't work, so I try the other one...no explanations are ever present. It asks if I want to go to StubHub Classic...so what in the heck is that? Why cannot there be a tiny paragraph somewhere to explain it and why or why not I would go there? I listed on Stubhub once before. The tickets did not sell and I ended up giving them away. But I went through the process and it seemed very easy. I am a concert-goer who occasionally buys tickets and cannot attend due to work/illness, etc. etc. Bought tickets to Foo Fighters which was a sold out show in Phoenix on 9/25/15. Was very excited about going. Fell ill with food poisoning that same day at work and rushed home to get the tickets listed for sale. I had "e-tickets" and the pdfs would not accept. I created a pdf out of the pdf. They were ETICKETS. Bar code was very clear and scannable as well as all numbers etc. I priced them at face value even though they could have sold for more but I just wanted to get my money back. They sold within the hour and I saw the email stating so and saying that I would have my payment in 7 days.
Well, the next morning I check my email and 2 hours before the concert started it said that the sale had been cancelled and another email stating that I was being charged $30 for non-delivery of tickets. I immediately called and was confused! How could this happen? My tickets were genuine and no one called me. Well Stubhub does not ask for you to check or update your phone number or information. No matter how long it's been since you last logged in. The phone number they "supposedly" called I have not had in over 7 years! They didn't email me only to state the sale was cancelled. I lost out on the tickets and the money. They claim that the buyer decided that they looked scanned and they wanted a refund. So they GAVE the buyer my tickets and that person could have used them and then they claim that they gave them another set. I have no recourse? They told me it's "buyer protection". Where is the seller protection?
They should have someone checking all tickets posted to make sure that they meet their standards or do not accept them! I was told by stub hub that their site is "self-service" and it's my responsibility to make sure that all of my info is updated and the tickets are uploaded correctly. SELF SERVICE? I am probably hypercritical being a Marketing major in college, but I am appalled to have customer service in any industry today blaming the customer. I think that is absolutely ridiculous. I think they could learn something from Amazon, Costco, even eBay, that if you let people sell to one another, you should step in and help provide the best help to both parties. All the other companies I've dealt with online bend over backwards to help the customer whether it is the company's fault or the customer's fault. I can tell you I will purchase my tickets from somewhere else. This may not be very fair to StubHub, but I am very vocal about my purchasing habits, and always advocate for products I believe in, and likewise I'm very loud with my opinions on companies I think are terrible. I will advocate to my friends and family to purchase tickets for events through other means than this company that can't seem to help a customer in need out.

I listed two football tickets for sale on Stubhub for a game on 10/3/15. Four days before the game, I offered them to a friend and went to take them off of Stubhub website and it said my listing had sold. I never received payment and contacted Stubhub 4 days after the game. It took them a while to even find my listing then they claimed the tickets had not sold! I would have never let the tickets go unused- I would have given them away first. There are obviously big problems with their website- the word "sold" is pretty clear. Either that or a major scam/ ticket fraud with them.

StubHub is a major rip off! The most expensive tickets I saw on StubHub for this Disney Halloween Party this year was $350 that was per ticket. They have them split into two groups; General Admission or Annual Passholder General Admission according to their website, screenshot of the outrageous prices and how they split the tickets into two groups included in this review below.
On StubHub if you purchase the General Admission ticket for the Halloween event at Disneyland through them you get nothing but to go the event. No free parking, no three hours early entry. Now if you purchase the Annual Passholder General Admission ticket for the Halloween event at Disneyland through StubHub you get free parking and 3 hours early entry prior to event. StubHub told me that it all depends on the seller and the seller controls what type of tickets they have.
Tickets to the Halloween event at Disneyland include free parking and three hours early entry prior to event. It doesn't matter what price they paid or if they are an Annual Passholder or what day they got them for, those two perks are INCLUDED in each and every ticket, Disney is just nice like that. I have included screenshots below show prices and what is included in the tickets when purchased with Disney. I really think this is crappy that the ticket sellers on StubHub are taking away what SHOULD be included in EVERY ticket on top of charging a outrageous amount for them when they are only $69-$84 dollars through Disneyland.
So warning to anyone thinking of purchasing Disney Halloween tickets through StubHub, don't do it, you will be ripped off! Just do it through Disney! I feel sorry for a anyone who purchased the General Admission tickets to the Halloween Event this year at Disneyland, they got suckered out of two major perks that are included when you purchase them through Disneyland!

I purchased two $150 theater tickets through StubHub that I can prove with my receipt. However, when I presented my printed tickets at the venue, I realized that they had been substituted with $64 tickets (farthest back row of the upper balcony). When the usher saw my surprise, she said, "You used StubHub didn't you? Ugh, this happens all the time, but you're lucky the seats on your ticket exist - they often don't. There really should be a class action suit against them." If this were an isolated incident, then I would let it go and consider it an honest mistake; however, based on the usher's remarks and all of the similar complaints online, this seems deliberate and systematic.

Beware of the Stubhub Mobile App. I placed a sell order for my parking pass last week later that day. I used the Stubhub Mobile app to reduce the price by approximately 20%. About an hour later my ticket was sold for 45% less that I had changed it to. I contacted Stubhub to find out how this accrued and was told that they would have their Tech people look into this. I wanted the sale to be voided but was told that if I didn't deliver the tickets that I would be penalized 20% of the selling price.
With this information I delivered the ticket and waited for the Tech department to get back to me. About a week later I was informed that there was no error on their part and that there were subsequently three changes made within an hour. I asked for proof from their Tech Dept and was told that I would receive it within 48 hours. Later that evening I received a call from Stubhub informing me that they could not legally release the information to me and that I was to just believe them. I find it very suspicious that they would not send me this information. Are they hiding something.

On September 18, 2015, my daughter purchased a Chris Brown concert ticket. We received an email confirmation and instructions how to print the ticket. The next day we tried to print her ticket but it stated that it was in progress. We checked our credit card and we had been charged $154.35. Her friend, who also purchased on Stubhub received a phone call from them stating that they could not get her particular seat but ungraded her instead from lawn approximately 30 minutes before the concert.
We never received notification that there was an issue with my daughter's ticket. When the "in progress" did not go away, we contacted Stubhub who informed us that they were terribly sorry but she would not be getting a ticket because the ticket she purchased was fraudulent. I had 6 girls going to the concert and spending the night at my house with my daughter. The girls left with another mother hoping to get a ticket on site.
This is completely unacceptable. They offered to refund me my money and gave me 1/2 credit for a future concert. Why would I ever buy a ticket from them again if I really don't have a ticket? I thought their service was to ensure that tickets were not fraudulent. Finding out 30 minutes before an event that you don't have a ticket is completely unacceptable. In addition, they charged me and now I have to wait for 10 days. I believe this is a fraudulent business practice that should not be allowed. Nowhere was it ever apparent that we did not have a ticket. They should have done all of the pre-screenings before they ever sell the tickets.

I have always purchased my tickets for any event through StubHub and moving forward, never will again. I mostly attend football games and never have had an issue until now. I purchased UPS tickets and paid extra to have them shipped to my home. I LOVE the traditional actual ticket (not the print-out). Most often, the instant download or electronic tickets are cheaper but it means a lot to me to have the actual ticket so I always choose the UPS option when purchasing tickets.
Not only was my order delayed, I purchased them Aug 7th and just received them yesterday (Aug 25), which normally wouldn't be an issue but when I finally received them, they were paper, print-out tickets. First off, if I wanted paper print-out tickets, I would have intentionally purchased them and had them on Aug 7th! I reached out to StubHub and all they kept telling me was that the ticket holder never had the actual ticket and that they would refund my $10.50 shipping fee as a CREDIT to my StubHub account, not even the credit card I purchased the tickets with.
If I had known these would be print-out tickets and not an actual ticket, I would not have paid for them. It was listed incorrectly on StubHub and not what I had ordered. I even called the football stadium directly to see if they would exchange these print-outs for actual tickets and they said they do not support StubHub for reasons like this. I posted two tickets for the Fleetwood Mac concert in Los Angeles. Each ticket was posted for about 200 dollars, for a total of 400 dollars. Within seconds of posting the tickets for sale, they sold and I was sent an email by StubHub that I would receive the proceeds of the sale minus commission. About 12 hours before the concert, I get an email from StubHub saying the sale had been cancelled and that I would be charged applicable transaction fees. The email was cryptic and gave absolutely NO INFO on what the problem was.
Since I could not use my Smart Phone to repost (this is another of StubHub's tactics to make it more difficult for customers who are selling) I had to call StubHub to find out what the problem was. After waiting a long time on the phone, I reached a customer service rep who told me that the tickets were posted in the "B" section but they were in the "F" section. I was told that it was my mistake.
It was hard to believe that I posted them incorrectly as there were three people at the computer when I posted them. Besides myself, my two tech savvy nieces were watching me post the tickets. You would think one out of the three of us would have noticed an error in posting. StubHub tells posters of tickets to check to make sure their tickets are posting correctly by going online to check the listing. Since my tickets sold so quickly after posting I did not have time to go in and check. And once I got the email I thought the transaction was completed.
The only option I had after StubHub had cancelled the sale was to repost them. Since I was away from home and only had my Smart Phone which can't be used to post tickets, I had to drive home to repost the tickets. Now we are only hours before the concert. I kept dropping the price of the tickets but they did not sell. Meaning I lost the value of the two tickets plus StubHub had the audacity to charge me a fee related to the cancellation.
I called Customer Service and they had their tech team look into it. The tech team told me it was my mistake but could offer no proof. After wasting too much time with Customer Service and the tech team, I wrote a letter to management. I asked to see a screen shot of the ticket information I had posted the first time in the transaction that was cancelled. I got a call from Customer Service saying that "at the time the ticket was posted, they were unable to provide a screenshot of the posting." She finished the message by saying something about StubHub's great Customer Service.
Therefore StubHub cost me about 400 dollars in lost tickets and fees. They were stubbornly non negotiable about the whole thing. And could offer absolutely no proof of my error by showing me a screenshot. So how do I even know it was my mistake? Why did the tickets sell so quickly and then why did it take them more than a day to tell me I made a mistake in posting. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. And reeked of bad business practices. Most reputable companies will listen and try to offer a solution. Not them.
And by the way, I have noticed so many online complaints about StubHub. Better Business Bureau, Ripoff Report, YELP and ConsumerAffairs to name only a few. The amounts lost are significant-most over 50 dollars and some quite high. Yet StubHub keeps right on doing "business as usual." Do they have any pride in being a reputable company. I will never ever use them again. STAY AWAY or RISK LOSING MONEY- POTENTIALLY A LOT OF MONEY.

I attempted to place an order on two different credit cards, both with no balance, and they were declined. I reached out to my credit card company about this and, while they initially refunded my card, they have since sent a letter stating that the charge will now be added back on to my account. The reason being because Stubhub remitted information showing that the order was placed and the confirmation email was sent (never mentioning what time it was sent, of course). He was very nice and described the rules and explained it's against the rules to sell the tickets many times to many different people, like I was fearing- you can only sell them once to one person through ONLY Stubhub OR a different website. Then he went as far as to go into the names of the two people I got my tickets from, and he told me they were known to buy tickets and resell them (for a lower price), and they don't have bad reviews for screwing people over.
So I decided to risk it anyways, and just hope for the best. They let sellers price tickets WAAAY above what they're really worth, and do you know why they don't care? Because the higher the ticket price, the higher the commission they make from the sale. The price you see when you buy a ticket on StubHub not only includes the fees they make the BUYER pay, but fees they make the seller pay as well! So it's literally a DOUBLE rip off!
When selling, you still get ripped off (unless you're the type to jack up the price of your tickets to compensate for this fact). And then, if the event your ticket is to get canceled for ANY reason, even though it is no fault of your own, StubHub will STILL debit your bank account for the cost of that ticket! And this is with or without your consent! They can't deposit your fare from selling tickets into your bank account, but they can debit from it? Such **. Then, they had the nerve to tell me that if I disputed the charge with my bank that they would immediately deactivate my account! And, on top of that, they use a shady company such as PayPal to process their payments. That should tell you what kind of company this really is. NEVER AGAIN. Filing with the Better Business Bureau ASAP!

I selected to purchase 4 tickets in their website. A total cost of $273.94 each ticket was $64 plus tax and fees. I received my order confirmation with the about charged but only for 2 tickets! They said I would just have to buy more tickets from the seller. That doesn't make any sense! Either they logged the wrong amount on the order confirmation or they doubled charged me. Either way I'm not gonna pay more money to fix a problem. They refuse to cancel the deal. So I had to file a dispute through my credit card company.

Was excited when my boyfriend called me to inform me he bought us tickets to the Brooklyn Nets playoff game for Saturday, April 25 at the Barclay center. We both rushed our way to the center. We waited on long lines to enter. Waited for about thirty minutes when the Barclay attendant scanned our tickets a huge red X alerted him that our tickets were no good. He directed us to the box office to speak with a representative. She grabbed our tickets and began to looked for our tickets on her computer. By this time we are about 15 minutes late to the game. She tells us she can't do anything for us and stamps "void" on our tickets.
She suggest we call Stubhub to receive a refund or reissued tickets. My boyfriend calls Stubhub. The Stubhub operator answers the phone and my boyfriend states to her the issue he were having with the tickets. The tickets were not working and were not gaining us access inside the stadium. The Stubhub operator puts my boyfriend on hold about 10 minutes when she takes him off of hold and explains to him that she has other tickets she could reissue us. After so long and super late to the game, my boyfriend had no choice but to say "fine."
She puts him back on hold to reissue the tickets that are nowhere near where we wanted to sit or knew where we would be. By this time we are about 30 minutes late to the game. She puts him back on hold for about 15 minutes as we wait for her to explain to us what will happen. She tells him that the system is down and she doesn't know why but the tickets are not being reissued because of system failure. So a refund was issued. We stood outside the stadium for about an hour only to be issued a refund.
It was disappointing to know that we traveled 2 hours all the way to Brooklyn to watch the game and the tickets we purchased on a "secure" site was not working. Then to make matters worse after leaving the stadium and returning home we receive an email that tickets would be reissued however the tickets had the same barcode as the previous "non working" tickets and we were clearly told by the operator the system was down. This experience was highly upsetting and it has left me with a distrust and I will not be recommending the use of Stubhub to anyone and will not be using this system in the future.

First the Stubhub website would not let me create an account... then the Stubhub website would not let me link my PayPal account to pay for tickets. Needless to say those 2 red flags made me give up on the site completely. I mean if I have to jump through hoops and go through this amount of trouble just to register on the site it scares the ** out of me of what could happen if I would have actually bought tickets for an event after reading some of the complaints on here... Notice this has never happened to any other site I register with or pay for things with. I purchased tickets for a concert for April 16, 2015. I drove over 4 hours away to concert. Upon arriving at event I found a sign posted on event stating concert was cancelled and to contact seller for a FULL REFUND. I was NEVER notified about a cancellation. I immediately contacted StubHub. They did not even know about a cancellation. Upon further communications with StubHub I was informed that I would not get a refund since the concert was rescheduled for 08/21/2015. I am not able to attend in August nor should I be expected to. I lost over $250 in costs for gas and hotel to go to the event. StubHub never even acknowledged my experience. They made no apologies...
StubHub CHEATS their customers. StubHub can get reimbursed from whomever they got the tickets from so I am entitled to a FULL REFUND- just as the sign posted at event stated. I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to file a complaint with the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, Rip-Off Report.com and any online complaint forum. If enough people complain, StubHub will eventually become accountable for their illegal and immoral actions.

I bought 2 tickets for a total of £375 for a The Who concert in December 2014. This was cancelled the day before. On the day at 9:03 I received an email stating the rescheduled date. I then tried to contact Stubhub to see if I could get my money back but found out that that the best I could do was to resell the tickets through their website... This, in spite of paying around £200 in fees to Stubhub.
I put the new date in my diary. The night before, I went online to print the tickets, only to find out that the concert was taking place the night before the revised date I had been given. It was too late for me to go so I called Stubhub in the USA. I was promised a call back in the morning... nothing. This after 40 minutes on the phone.
I called the UK number this time and was told that another email had been sent out 15 minutes after the first (in December) changing the rescheduled date to the day before. Another 20 minutes later, I was told that my case was pending and I would receive another call in 24 hours. 10 minutes later I was called by a different employee (who claimed to work for the management team ) to say they had no responsibility. They finally offered a £20 Stubhub voucher, which to me Implied that they felt responsible. I declined that as I want a full refund. When I asked about at least refunding the Stubhub's fees/taxes, I was told certainly not. I was also told that if I emailed a complaint, it would only go to the same team to which the man I was speaking to belonged.

I called and spent 20 or so minutes on the phone trying to find out why and was told that my account was being investigated (I could no longer log on). I was told the tickets were no longer available and I could buy new ones. Only lousy to very expensive tickets were available. Tickets didn't arrive by Tuesday when they were supposed to, or indeed Friday when the concert was. UPS showed only a label was printed and NEVER sent or intended to be sent. Stubhub didn't help when I contacted them the day before the concert to cancel it because my ticket hadn't even been sent yet and they replied with something about a "fan protect guarantee" - which basically means I go back onto the Stubhub website, see my concert is now a "past order" and there's no button or way to file a claim or complain. I wrote an honest review which is what the first couple of lines of this are and they wouldn't publish it.
The service is a lottery, you have zero guarantee of getting a ticket you paid for, you might well get your money back but Stubhub don't care when that might be. I had to file a claim with Paypal and still waiting to get my money back. It's not rocket science, this "service" is weak and they rely on people to send these tickets, which they may put up for "sale" just in case they decide to flake and not attend. So they have a backup sucker to dump the ticket(s) on just in case they need it.
Being my first and last experience with Stubhub, I've found the service a joke. When the tickets have not arrived and I ask for my money back, you don't list off some "fan protect" garbage, you give me my money back. Wouldn't trust this service personally at all. You have no guarantee you'll get what you pay for and it certainly ruined my weekend, and week leading up to it stressing over a ticket. AVOID, if at all possible and do not make plans relying on anything bought via Stubhub. Ruined my weekend and all I know is I can apparently have my money back at some future point. Zero percent impressed, ruined my weekend and I've just split with my long time partner so a good night was needed and I was let down.

Well tonight my wife and her friend went to the enter the concert but were turned away due to her tickets not being valid.
I of course hung up with my wife and called Stubhub. I spoke with ** who was helpful, he said that it was possible that either the seller double sold the tickets or the seller contacted the company where they (seller) originally purchased the tickets and had them reprinted. It's basically unknown at this point in time what exactly happened.
While I am upset that my wife and her friend didn't get to enjoy their show, Stubhub said they will be giving me a full refund plus a 20% coupon for future use (Not going to happen). I asked ** why the company doesn't have it set up where the seller gives up the right to the ticket when using their service, he said normally they do, but sometimes certain transactions don't. I would implore anyone seriously considering to purchase tickets from this website to instead buy them from a genuine source. My e-tickets were available for me to download, print, and attend Download festival 4 days before the event. However, I was emailed the day before the event and informed that the tickets were not valid for entry into the festival. Being informed less than 24 hours before I was to depart was appalling, and the attitude of the customer service staff that I spoke to on the phone was even worse. Stubhub's resolution to my problem was to attend the event a day later, as there was always a slim chance that the seller could post actual tickets via special delivery. A string of hope and an empty promise from a company that has taken payment for a product they were unable to deliver.
So here I am, a day before the festival, letting down 4 other people that were suppose to be attending with me and needing me for transport. And £160 out of pocket. Stubhub's guarantee to refund me within 3-5 working days does not fill me with hope, considering their "fan protect guarantee" also apparently ensures the ability to enter the event on time and for tickets to be valid for entry. A horrific demonstration of customer service and reliability from a first time user of Stubhub. Anyone reading this review would be foolish to consider purchasing tickets from a company that cares less about having fans attend event, and even less about customer service.

So I purchased two tickets for the Wrestlemania 2015 event in San Jose back in December for my brother and his wife. They were great seats for great prices and I was so happy that I found them. I know that we're only a few weeks away from the event, but my brother suffered a heart attack and just passed away. I contacted their customer service via chat and spoke with someone named ** and he/she assured me that I would be getting a refund back to my card within 2-3 business days. I was so happy with their customer service for understanding the situation and for giving me a refund.
Next thing you know, I get an email, not 5 min later, saying that I have received a "coupon" for the amount of my tickets on my account and that I can use it for any event but that it would expire in a year. It threw me off because I thought that I was going to get my refund back via the credit card I used, not in a coupon. I thought that maybe I was just reading it wrong so I decided to go back on the chat option to talk to a representative again to confirm. Next thing I know, I'm being told that there was a "misunderstanding" and that they don't give cash refunds, only "coupons".
By now I'm irate and I explain to this new rep that I specifically asked "when should I expect the refund to my credit card? The funds will be used towards the funeral costs" and **, the first rep answered, "it can take anywhere from 2-3 business days", to which I said thank you. She keeps insisting that it was a misunderstanding and I had to go into my ** mode which I hate, and told her that if indeed there was any misunderstanding, it was on their part, not mine. I asked a specific question, and got an answer from THEIR rep. He/she did not say it was going to be a "coupon". He/she SPECIFICALLY said it would be refunded back to my card. After I schooled her on ethics and business laws, she said that she was going to speak to a supervisor for more information and so she could "look further into this."
After waiting for 5 min, she comes back and tells me that I have been approved, as a courtesy, for a full refund on my credit card. Not a coupon. FINALLY, after almost an hour of chatting with these people, I get some satisfaction. Needless to say, I will never, ever use Stubhub again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

They only offered to try to re-sell the tickets at a profit to themselves of course. Our credit card company indicated that Stubhub should immediately cancel the transaction since the issue (misrepresentation) was caught immediately by the buyer; anything else being unethical.

Two stories here. Last two experiences to be exact so these are not well separated incidents with any successes in the middle.
I bought 4 up front seats to the Fleetwood Mac concert in Columbus Ohio. Paid for several months in advance of the show. Got to 10 days before showtime (did I mention that these tix were in the thousands of dollars?) - no tix. Contact Stubhub. Very nice, prompt etc. Tell me that "This vendor has an excellent track record and we have never had a problem with them." I'm like "Great but I'd like my tix please." Stubhub says they will call the seller and "Please hold the line." They come back a few minutes later with "They're not answering so we will email them." I say, "OK then what?" They tell me that I'll get an email when tix ship. (Sound familiar folks who have had issues??) Huge relief!!
Get email with tracking number for tix. Tracking says "label created." Next day still says "label created." Next day same thing. Time is running out. I'm starting to imagine my embarrassment in front of my close friends now. Call Stubhub back and call BS on seller. They tell me to expect a call from fulfillment department next day. So now I know that Stubhub knows their reliable vendor is crap in reality. Next day fulfillment guy calls - asks me to hold while he reads my case file. Comes back in a somber tone and offers me replacement tix that are front row. YAY! Relief etc. Stubhub stands up and takes a major financial bath. I'm happy but it's a survival kind of happy. Skin on my teeth happy.
So now it is present day. My friend buys similar tix for Maroon 5 in Columbus. Pay big bucks up front months ahead of event. Ten days before event. No tix. Calls Stubhub. "This is a great vendor! No problems at all. You'll get an email when the tix ship." Sound familiar? Get track number. Package en route. Yay!! Right? Tix show up. Friend goes to event with sister. This is a birthday present for the sister btw. Go to gate. TIX ARE 100 percent fake! Venue actually gives friend paperwork to certify fraud tix.
Whatever Stubhub had going. However hard they try to make things right. Their system is now absolutely rampant with fraudulent sellers. If you want to experience real stress and probably drama use them. I actually feel real sympathy for Stubhub workers. They are good people that want to make things right. It is not fair for them or their customers to be put in these situations.

But I'm starting to read more and more about buyers scamming the seller. So even if it's rare (or so they claim), it's happening!
Once I sold a ticket on there and it was valid and the buyer got into the show, but didn't go to the meet and greet because of the band's management preventing her to...yet I was charged for that. Completely out of my control and I sold a valid ticket, yet StubHub took money out of my account for it? Such a disgusting business, they don't care about anyone, especially the sellers. I have been a long time user and advocate of Stub Hub....until today. I have purchased tickets with no problems and took to selling tickets in the last couple of years. There was a problem 5 days ago where their system couldn't validate the bar code of a ticket I was trying to sell. I called them and was told that their IT dept. would be in touch with me as the venue was having problems with bar codes for that event.
I re-downloaded my ticket (after hanging up with them) to get a new bar code and Stub Hub accepted that. I immediately called them back to let them know that my ticket was listed, so there was no need for their IT dept. to address anything. They thanked me for calling them back and updating them. Later that day, I get an email from their IT dept. saying that they set my account to accept .pdf uploads, so if I was trying to list my ticket, I would have to upload a .pdf version. I didn't bother since my ticket had already sold.
Fast forward 2 days to when I tried to list another ticket. My account would ONLY accept .pdf format and not bar code verification. I downloaded the .pdf version of my ticket and listed it. It sold fairly quickly and the day after the event, I get an email saying that the buyer claimed the ticket was invalid and that if I couldn't provide proof that the ticket was not scanned, I would face fines, etc.
I got in touch with my season ticket rep and he provided the proof that my ticket for that event indeed WAS NOT SCANNED OR REDEEMED IN ANY FASHION, and even stated that their IT dept. was looking into problems with my account. Didn't matter to StubHub, they said that my ticket was downloaded multiple times (where a new bar code is issued each time) and that the ticket's bar code I provided didn't match the last download. Doesn't matter to Stub Hub that I only downloaded the ticket ONCE, and that there is a problem with my account that IT is working on....they just want the money.
Longevity and customer track record means absolutely nothing to StubHub....they just want their money and will go about getting it however they can.

I listed tickets on both Stubhub and Craigslist when I found out my job would require that I travel on the same dates of the event. I had never listed tickets on either before...and I had purchased from both before. Although I hadn't logged into Stubhub for years I was able to quickly login and create a listing. I was prompted for my credit card number for their fan protect guarantee; I skimmed the screen and didn't see anything suspicious so I figured it was to verify I was a real person?
A couple months went by and someone from Craigslist contacted me and I sold these tickets for face value. Then a couple weeks later I got an email from Stubhub stating my tickets sold. I was shocked because I forgot about the Stubhub listing. In 2.5 months I never received one email from Stubhub to remind me of this listing. The event was still over 2 weeks away so I quickly notified Stubhub I had already sold the tickets. They notified me they may charge me 20% for a "dropped" order...and sure enough a few days later I had a 500.00 charge on my credit card. I complained, filled out their complaint form, complained to the BBB, etc. and nothing happened. I had no idea this would happen and they certainly HID this fine print. What's worse is they could have sent regular emails about the status of the listing and info about this policy. However I believe it is their business practice not to make it clear so they can make money from this unethical channel as well.
As I saw over 75 tickets still available on their site the day I notified them I couldn't deliver, I'm sure they found similar tickets immediately and lost no money. I however admit I'm not a lawyer and didn't read through many many screens and links to know this precise detail... So a fair penalty would have been OK. 20% of the ticket listing price is ridiculous. I was only trying to get the price I paid for my tickets and I ended up paying Stubhub 500.00 for nothing. They are top of the line, lawyered up, scammers. I encourage everyone to take their legit complaints to the California Attorney General...because it will eventually stack up to something bigger. Additionally laws need to change to catch companies like Stubhub; a bank would never get away with this due to customer protections.

So, I called Stubhub again, and they would not budge, saying it was now being called "postponed to an undetermined date" rather than "canceled." Again, what?? I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and we all spoke together on a 3-way call with Stubhub. The Stubhub guy was cocky and arrogant (smarmy), saying, "Sorry, it's just the way it goes." The representative from Capitol One jumped in and said that this was flat out wrong and that they would be disputing the charge and that they would indeed WIN!
The punk on the line from Stubhub went on to say, "No you won't win, and if you do even file a dispute, we will automatically close your account." Really? Haha! Was that a threat of some sort? Please! Like I'd ever even purchase anything from them again anyway. But the rep from Capitol One said, "Don't worry, you'll be refunded in full and we have this call recorded with his 'threats'." So... I guess I got my $1,004.00 back, but will wait till I actually see it on my statement. But be advised - this is NOT a reputable broker, obviously. Shop for tickets elsewhere - not at Stubhub!

Probably the worst customer experience, online or offline. I tried to open a new Stubhub account to purchase tickets for a 40th anniversary surprise gift. There was an issue with my Canadian address. So, I was directed to a customer a service rep., on 12/18/14. She took my order for tickets for the event dated 01/28/15. When she repeated the order details, she repeated the event date 12/28/14. I corrected her, and she repeated the order with the event date 01/28/15 and placed my order. The next day I checked the order online. The tickets were dated 12/28/14. I immediately called the customer service line. And I was told that the tickets would be changed to 01/28/15. And someone would be contacting me within 24-48 hours to confirm the change.
I checked again the next day and saw that the tickets dated 12/28/14 has been shipped. I call customer service again requesting they correct the issue or take the tickets back. I was told the following, and I quote, “Stubhub does not take tickets back, you can resell them online.” My comment was that Stubhub made the error, but that I was left with the cost of their error. And was told the same thing, “Stubhub does not take tickets back, you can resell them online.” Obviously, Stubhub does not stand behind their service. Beware as you have no recourse if there is an error on their part once the tickets have been shipped.

They charged me $150.00 for "cancelling" the tickets, when I called them within minutes of receiving the "sold' notice. Buried about three clicks into their "policies" is a clause where they can charge "up to" 20% if one cancels the tickets. Let me say again, about three clicks into the policy. To even find out how much they would pay me required a phone call or chat, NOTHING is listed that is easy to find. I asked them to document to me what the loss was to them or their client to have charged me so exorbitant a fee. No response. I filed a dispute form, IMMEDIATELY got an answer that the dispute was declined, so obviously no one reviewed it. AND to even file a dispute, one has to again "agree" to their terms and conditions. This appears to be just another way for them to collect money along with the hidden until the end fees charged to buyers. Try any other site but this one.

I checked that section many times and there were never tickets available for sale the entire time (until 8:01 when I relisted them, but it was too late for them to sell).
StubHub refuses to produce any documentation showing that buyers could see my tickets and they refuse to admit there might be a glitch in their system. When they came in the mail, I saw the face value of each ticket was $93. I called to find out why and was told I bought the tickets from some 3rd party. Stubhub allows the seller to list the tickets for any price they want and Stubhub's policy is to not restrict the price to something reasonable or to list the true face value of the tickets. Yesterday I purchased what I believed to be two Wiz Khalifa tickets for Mr Smalls in Pittsburgh PA on November 22nd for $153.50 on StubHub. It turned out that the tickets that I had purchased were tickets to a COMPLETELY different show that had been rescheduled from November 22nd to December 13th! The tickets I had bought were for a band called "The Show". The seller had obviously taken advantage of the rescheduling and the name of the band (who got the bump courtesy of Wiz.) I was led to believe that I was buying two tickets to "The Show" aka "The Wiz Khalifa Show". A VERY VAGUE description indeed, made to look even more convincing due to the prices of the tickets ($76.75 per ticket). To add, the tickets to this band named "The Show" are still available for purchase on ticketweb for regular price (about $20 each). This was an obvious bait & switch transaction.
I called StubHub customer support and explained to them my situation, but instead of refunding my money before the seller had a chance to send his falsely advertised tickets, they suggested that I use their site to try to re sell the tickets! StubHub refuses to refund any purchases. Needless to say, I will not be getting my $153.50 back and this will be my first and LAST time using StubHub. StubHub is a LAST RESORT place to buy tickets. Sellers on StubHub use the site to flop tickets. Sellers buy out tickets at regular price from regular ticket retail sites such as ticketweb, ticketfly, ticketmaster, etc. and sell them for a higher price on StubHub. The tickets were mail-in only, and since the venue didn't mail the tickets out until after the date they told everyone they would (I called the venue and was told someone there dropped the ball), Stubhub cancelled my sale and charged me 20% of the ticket price. I had 2 other tickets for the same game that had sold on Stubhub. It was getting closer and closer to the game time and I finally went and looked at the site and the ORIGINAL high price was all that was showing up.
I called Stubhub right away and spoke with Dewayne ** and he checked their website and agreed that it was their website that was malfunctioning and was not reflecting the correct price of my tickets. He offered me $100 credit on Stubhub and to waive the fees on my next listing. I declined and told him to have a supervisor call me. She did at 8 pm that night. The game was at 11 am. Their website malfunctioned and they would not take responsibility! I could have sold those tickets for $200 a piece at the game.
My request is that they take responsibility for their malfunctioning web site and give me the face value for my tickets. They would not honor my request. Very, very Poor Business Ethics! Their reasoning was because they did not own the tickets and they were just a secondary ticket marketplace. Well they sure held my tickets hostage at their LMS ticket office! Stubhub's system of fees are so needlessly complicated that it is quite easy as a first time seller to be duped as to how much you will actually receive for your tickets. For example, they have your ticket price - $100. They have the price the buyer sees - $110. Then they take 15% commission from your ticket price when your tickets sell, i.e., in this case $15. So from the list price of $115 on the Stubhub website, you as a seller are giving up $25 or approximately 23% to Stubhub. Now they may say that in fact the buyer is paying the $10 over $110 and the seller is only paying the 15% fee. However, since the buyers only see the all-in ticket price, you as a seller are really the one who loses out. Confused? So am I. I couldn't recommend Stubhub less.

Right in my account was a button they happily provide exclaiming, "Sell Your Tickets." I went through the process, which was quick and easy and gave me no reason to be concerned. WELL, when the tix sold, I wasn't able to upload the tix to their site because they were e-tix that the crook sent me in the mail... I didn't know this was a problem! I phoned Stubhub customer service and was placed on hold numerous times. The agent said they were trying to get replacement tickets for us but after about 45 minutes they said it wasn't possible. They offered a refund but this does not cover the expenses of two hotel rooms, taking a day off work for 4 of us, gas for the 600-mile round trip drive, road tolls (Illinois), plus the hassle and waste of time in the whole deal.
Stubhub also offered me a $600 credit which expires in 1 year. Why should I take the chance of this happening to me again, especially considering that I usually have to travel at least 250 miles to attend the concerts I want to see? Thus a denied entry is much more expensive for me. Also, I prefer to buy my tickets from Ticketmaster and have never had the problem with them. I've only used Stubhub for a 'sold out' concert. How many 'sold out' concerts will I want to attend in the next year? And why would I want to overpay for a non-sold out concert on Stubhub, versus paying face value on Ticketmaster? All I want from Stubhub is a check for $600. This will make me satisfied, not a $600 credit that I won't use in 1 year.

I contacted stubhub to tell them that something had happened & I was sold 6 tickets instead of 3. For another thing they stayed logged into my acct since Feb. Didn't even ask for my paypal password. They said it'd take 24 hrs to decide, yet they took the money from my acct even after I had filed a complaint & there hadn't been 24 hrs lapse for them to get back to me. It was $408. It was only suppose to be $204. Rip off!

I bought two tickets to a concert and ended up finding better seats so I listed the original two on Stub Hub. I progressively lowered the price and 24 hours before the concert the tickets went into a pending state giving me the impression they had sold. Two days after the concert I contacted them only to find out they hadn't sold. They went into pending because I changed the price through their edit feature (apparently I'm an idiot using edit feature to change prices). I was told this was my fault, too bad, have a nice day. I will never use Stub Hub again and will tell everyone I know not to use them. I have sold many tickets and this has never happened before. I will be sure it will never happen again. I lost over $100.00.

Deceiving seller fees. As an example I was selling 2 concert tickets and trying to find a price to set them at. It stated as follows. Your price: $315.00 per ticket. Buyer Sees: $329.45 and below this number is says (Fees included). Come to find out that about 4.5% fee in the fees included does not included the total and far from the 15% robbery they hit you with. I made 7% over what I paid $500 what a rip off!!

I had used Stubhub several times in the past without any problems. I recently bought a ticket for a Washington nationals game and when I checked out it asked for my security code on my card so I put it in, it then popped up again, so I assumed it hadn't worked. I receive two emails saying I had bought two seats when I had clearly ordered one. I called customer service and requested a refund for the ticket I didn't want. They told me that once I had bought the ticket, it was a done deal, so I'm being charged twice for a ticket I didn't purchase or want and am being penalized for their website screwing up. Safe to say I won't be back.

I had an extra pair of tickets that I ended up selling on StubHub to Dave Chappelle's show at Radio City Music Hall on June 25th. They were sold very quickly, but to my surprise two days after the event, I received a notification stating that the tickets were being claimed as 'invalid' by the buyer. Very frustrating as StubHub's version of the tickets was the only one that ever existed (aside from on my computer which were never printed) and I saw the buyers that evening as I attended the show.
If that wasn't bad enough, I was sent on a fool's errand to prove myself as a seller by being asked for ticket verification from Radio City that they, as a strict policy, never release unless legally compelled to do so. Essentially, I was asked to provide something that was impossible to achieve to recoup my $300+ for tickets that I could've easily sold elsewhere. I've never had problems with them before, but seller beware if anyone "cries wolf" about their tickets being invalid due to a bad experience at a show. You'll have to jump through hoops to get your money back.

I tried to sell 2 concert tickets on StubHub. I bought the tickets the day the concert went on sale, and found better tickets later on so wanted to sell these just to get my money back. A month later, the tickets sold and I was notified. Unfortunately, I wasn't near my computer and StubHub suggested they cancel the sale since I hadn't delivered the tickets the same day. StubHub then charged me 2x what the tickets were row in cancellation fees. $370!
I contacted them and they shrugged me off because policy states you have 24 hours to upload the tickets. The seats next to mine are on sale for only $180 so StubHub clearly is making a profit. So angry that I am now losing at least $200 when I sell these tickets now. The buyer was never in danger of getting to the concert - it's over 2 weeks away! I bought my replacement tickets last week and they still haven't arrived - double standards? Now that I know what happens, I'll at least give them ample time to get the tickets over to me before cancelling the order.

Purchased 3 tickets for White Panda. 1 of the tickets was rejected at the door. There is no way to get help from Stubhub and you're left hanging. They will refund you the $ for the ticket but who cares, you didn't get in. Definitely do not travel to a venue if you're relying on a Stubhub ticket to get in. "Customer Service" could care less, must happen a lot. Buyer Beware!!!!!

On 6/11/14 I purchased 2 tickets for the Luke Bryan concert at Heinz Field for Saturday June 21, 2014 for a cost of $395 on StubHub. I received the tickets and realized my fiancé couldn't go so I scanned in the tickets I received and uploaded them on StubHub to sell. The tickets sold the day before the concert but the day of the concert I received an email saying my credit card was charged $75 and they cancelled the sale because I couldn't upload tickets that I scanned in (Even though I bought them on StubHub).
I've done plenty of business on StubHub buying tickets and can't believe they would charge me and not give me enough notice. So now I'm out $470 for tickets and didn't get to go to the concert. I will never do business with StubHub again and feel they should not have even let me list the tickets in the first place then this would not have happened, and I could have listed them with an overnight delivery instead of an instant download.

I listed tickets for sale on Stub Hub early in the morning, but found that the ticket pdf was security-protected. A customer service rep at Stub Hub removed the protection and e-mailed me the new pdf to upload. I uploaded it without problems, and she assured me the tickets were good to go. By 4 pm, they still did not show up on the Stub Hub website. I contacted Customer Service twice, and by 5 clock the supervisor still had not contacted me. This should have been a simple transaction, but it was a nightmare. Will not use Stub Hub to sell tickets again.

Buying tickets for concerts has become even more of a joke. With Live Nation and AEG owning most of the venues and controlling the primary AND secondary ticket sales, it is almost impossible to buy tickets at face value. Case in point: I was online and submitted a ticket order with AXS in the first 30 seconds of them going on sale today, and was told the show was already sold out. But one minute later, StubHub, which has an affiliation with AXS to be the exclusive secondary seller for AEG owned venues, (AEG owns AXS) had hundreds of tickets already available for sale at 3-5 times the face value. How is this legal?

I was scammed by StubHub. I called to order tickets for a concert and I asked if the tickets were guaranteed and I was told they were. They mailed the tickets to me. The tickets were lost. I called them to get them reissued and they refuse to do anything about it. They told me to purchase additional tickets and they would give me 25% off. They charge a huge service fee and yet they cannot replace lost tickets. Stay away from StubHub.
