I sold one ticket - Floor 2 row H seat 8. For some reason on one part of Stubhub it has seat 9 but in my sold part it is correct. We went to the event and the person who bought the ticket was there in the correct seat. But now in my account under payment it has nothing. Nothing under complete or pending. I have not received the money. I know it said 5 to 8 days after the event. Why that is I'm not sure as I gave the ticket she paid. The event is over. But I am concerned that there is no indication of a payment is coming.

Save your time and money, just buy from Ticketmaster. I bought tickets to see a concert a month in advanced. According to StubHub the tickets may not arrive until the day of the show, so I waited. Day of the show came and still no tickets.. Hour before the show, still nothing, so I bought new tickets on Ticketmaster and I got them instantly. I called stubhub after the show trying to get a refund and they told me I can’t get a refund because it’s after the event. All inboxes have been checked and no sign of the tickets ever being sent to me.. Out a couple hundred bucks and I’ll never use Stubhub again. Lesson learned.

I reached out as a ticket that I had been sold to me had the wrong date on it so I was unable to attend. I called, emailed and reached out multiple times to no response. I then disputed the charge and was still charged again as they fought it.

Ordered tickets which were confirmed and paid for $318 back in May 2022. Never received, and no notification of any issues. You have to go to them to find out why you didn't receive your tickets, even though the web site states they can monitor when the tickets are received. Had to speak to 4 different customer service reps to cancel my order, since the event is taking place in a few hours and I'd have to drive two hours to Cleveland not knowing if I would get my tickets or not.
They told me 3 times someone would be in touch and send me an email to resolve and get my tickets or the option to replace for different tickets but that never happened. At least they had record of my issue with each call, and they told me that I am going to receive a full refund. There are many stories of people not receiving their refunds so I'll wait the 5 business days that they promised for my refund. No explanation of who the seller was or why I didn't receive. This is a deceptive business that boasts of guarantees that are anything but. Both buyers and sellers have reportedly been scammed of their money. I strongly recommend not to use StubHub to purchase tickets.

I purchased tickets for a Jack Johnson concert from StubHub, but ended up being unable to attend. Somehow an old email address ended up on my resell listing (auto fill slip?). I never check this old email and believed the resell request either didn't go through or no one wanted the tickets. I was able to resell the tickets at a loss over Craigslist. But StubHub charged me $180 for not delivering the tickets. When I called them (repeatedly!) the front line staff members were courteous but unable to help me.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor (multiple times!) to explain the problem I had the responses from those supervisors of: #1" No." This one would not even talk to me. #2 "You can stay on hold till he gets out of his meeting and then he'll talk to you." When asked how long that might be, the answer was, "I don't know." and #3 "He'll call you back within 30 min." Guess what? Of course no one ever called back. So, in addition to getting a huge charge I was completely and intentionally blocked from seeking a solution to the problem. As many other reviews have noted: Worst customer service ever!! Obviously, I will NEVER buy from StubHub again. I also am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and encourage others who have had bad experiences with this company to do the same. (**) Please spread the word and encourage your friends and family to buy tickets from a more consumer-friendly company.

I only left 1 star because I could not leave zero stars. I ended up having to go to a wedding on a day that I had Elton John tickets for in September. I put the tickets up on StubHub in July, and they sold by the end of the month. The policy with StubHub is that they will pay you 5-8 days AFTER the event. That's weird since they've had the money to pay me since July, but if that's the policy, that's whatever. The day of the event comes and goes, 8 days go by, no money. 11 days go by, no money. So now I call StubHub 11 days after the event happened asking why I haven't been paid yet. A lady on the phone tells me they tried to PayPal me twice to pay me, but PayPal denied the payment. Ok, so I call PayPal, and they say that they do not deny payments in the first place, and they checked my records and there was no such attempt to pay me from StubHub.
STUBHUB OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME ABOUT TRYING TO PAY ME. Ok so, I call StubHub and tell them I was lied to. Their response? "You have to wait 13 more days and there's nothing else we can do about it." This company clearly either doesn't have any cash on hand or they have a policy of trying to not pay their ticket sellers. DO NOT SELL YOUR TICKETS ON STUBHUB, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY, THE ENTIRE COMPANY IS A SCAM.

No protection for buyers. BlackPink tickets for 11/11/22 Chicago show listed incorrectly on the site because of map problems. The tickets were labeled 'standing room only' and appeared on the listing when I selected the GA floor portion of the map. Because of this I purchased tickets, I believed were GA, but they turned out to be in furthest section on the arena. This section is not on the interactive map in StubHub app. This is 100% StubHub's fault due to incorrect venue map.
However, they refused to let me speak to a manager and refused a refund. Zero protection for buyers and now I'm out 800 bucks. They told me to re-list the tickets, but I don't want to do to another person what was done to me. Customer service also told me they don't protect against scams. So anyone can list anything in any section regardless of what they have, and StubHub takes no responsibility for such scams on their site. Never again. Save your money and steer clear!

Updated on 08/27/2024: My bank investigated and I received my money back.
Original Review: I went to the Buffalo Bills game against the Miami Dolphins on September 25th, 2022. I bought tickets from StubHub for just about $315. I got my tickets on the app for the phone. Went to the game. When I was in the car I opened up the app to make sure it was working and it was and then I got to the edge of the stadium just ready to go through the gate and the app would not work at all. I should have bought tickets through Ticketmaster because I have that app on my phone and that app opens up at the gate at the same time I'm trying to open up the StubHub app. So I couldn't show the barcode or anything, so I had to buy another ticket to get in. So I got into the game.
When I got up really high for the seats that I bought some cheap seats the app opened up there. So on the 26th of December I called StubHub's great customer service with the FanProtect and I was told by the girl that she would send it to her great team to escalate it and check to see if the barcode had actually been used and if it hadn't which it wasn't used I would get my money back and I would get an email in 2 days telling me what they found. No emails. Nothing. Wrote some other reviews on some other site and StubHub comes on and they want me to email their great team. I've already called them and talked to them so emailing does nothing either. StubHub I think knows they have a problem with this app sometimes and they brag about their 100% fan protect but they will not give your money back. They are a bunch of thieves.
I have an account with StubHub. I can go on there and see my past ticket but still sitting there but do they do anything to give your money back. Nothing. I suggest if You're going to an event do not use StubHub. Use Ticketmaster because StubHub is a joke. They do not protect their customers in nor do they care as they say. So now I have to do a dispute with my bank which I will and if I have to I'll get a lawyer and so they'll have to answer to a lawyer and prove that that barcode got used and it didn't. Unless somehow the ticket got sold twice but I did not use that barcode and I'm willing to testify to that that I did not go through that gate to get into that game with StubHub's ticket.
Still waiting and it's been over a week now for the results of their investigation. So if you're considering using StubHub and thinking that if there's a problem they're going to protect you! Please forget it. Yes they'll answer the phone and tell you they'll send an email in two days but they do nothing. I still have not received an email from these people. So when I read all these bad reviews now I believe them.

I put 4 concert tickets on Stub Hub to sell. Two of the tickets sold within a couple of weeks. I decided to keep the other two tickets and attend the concert myself. So I canceled the sale of the other two tickets. Stub Hub charged me the amount of the two tickets stating that they had sold the tickets. The person who wanted to purchase the 2nd set of tickets declined the replacement tickets. So Stub hub did not have to pay for the replacement tickets but still charged me $385.00 for canceling the sale of 2 of my tickets. I filed a claim with my credit card company who contacted Stub Hub. So StubHub decided to keep my proceeds from the sale of 2 of the 4 tickets. So basically I was out of $385.00. I WILL NEVER USE STUB HUB AGAIN, THEY ARE A RIP OFF!

No call, no email nothing!!! Offers 120% refund as I have to buy more expensive tickets at the gate. Go to game and run into the seller, as our seats were in a section directly next to the ones we purchased from StubHub. I ask seller why they didn't answer the phone when StubHub called and he said, "Well if I want to go to the game and I didn't get a good price from StubHub or I can sell them for more money elsewhere, I just don't release them!" Fast forward to a week later. I get the refund, but only 100% of it. I call, get "disconnected" 3 times. Finally, a lady says, "We only give 120% coupon, not refund." They made everybody go into their accounts and re-select a default payment method for ticket sales. Their very own prerecorded message says once you do this, they'll process your payment "immediately." Needless to say, "immediately" didn't happen. When I called their customer service, I was told I had to wait 13 days. I sold these tickets 3 weeks ago. First, I had to wait for the show date to pass. Then it took them a week to tell me I needed to update my payment method. Now it's another 13 days. This company is a joke.

The event date was Sept. 15 Kevin Hart in Tampa Amalie Arena. I purchased 3 Tickets using Amalie's sitting chart section 315 row L. I bought the tickets back in April, received an email after purchased with the order # and a message saying I will receive mobile tickets in a separate email with instructions within 24-48 hours. I never received such email. I waited the 48 hours before contacting them. They say that I will get them closer to the event day. Call them back the day before the event and the representative tells me that the tickets were scheduled to go out at 4:00 PST (date of the event).
I was a hesitant because I am on EST 7:00 pm when the show is scheduled to start. She assured me I will have them if not to call them immediately and they will take care of it. ("customer service all the way to your seat") What a JOKE! Event day comes, drove a couple of hours in traffic to get to the Arena, $50 for parking and no tickets. Call them back as requested remember? ("customer service all the way to your seat") The rep asked me for the order # and email, well guess what - my email does not match the order number??? What??? I have called the day before, after I called her that VOILA she found it, after going back and forth I was told there was nothing they could do because they did not own the tickets but they will reimburse my money. I asked her when, she said she doesn't know because she has to send the claim to the reimbursement department, let's see how that goes. To be continued...
I suggest them to have measures in place to ensure customers get the product they’re paying for and eliminate their motto ("customer service all the way to your seat") because obviously, that is not true. I feel robbed and will certainly never use StubHub again. I urge you to purchase tickets elsewhere if you want quality assurance and decent customer service. Happy Birthday to me!!! I will post this experience everywhere I can.

I purchased Box seats from their site, using the seating map which showed box seats, description also said box seats. Once I got the tickets in the mail 2 days prior the show, they were not box seats. I called to complain & they said they would gladly replace them with another box & sent me a link to pick out the section I would like, so I did, as we chatted & confirmed my selection on the phone & an email confirmation before hanging up.
They sent me a return label (after having to call back once again to make that happen). Later received a few more emails, confirmations that digital tickets were coming for the new box seats I selected. Day of show still no tickets, called again & they said the seller cancelled, yet no notices at all to let me know this. Then, they proceeded to ask me yet once again to pick another box, listing several, I picked one, then, a moment later, ALL options they mentioned were gone & they were offering LAWN seats! Then, offered coupons! I saw one box open on the screen & she would not give me that box, I assume they were not willing to replace my box with a $1000+ box (not better seating) just more $ than they were willing to pay. I'm guessing that was probably the issue from day one, they had no intentions on ever replacing my box seat!
My girlfriend & myself both took days off work to attend, bought snacks, bags, etc for a trip that didn't happen. And, I wasted half my day & evenings on phone calls, always asking me to search my email boxes in several ways, as if I don't know how to use my email or aware of my incoming emails. Believe me, I'd find my box seat tickets if they were there!!! And, I was hung up on once, because I was upset & they didn't want to hear it. I was lied to over & over that tickets were coming, that I could have anyone transfer my call to them...all lies.
Now, I've asked that my money be returned, they said it must go through a review for god's sake, that could take 8 - 10 days! Really? Review how much they screwed me over? I'll be back on here again if they don't give my $ back!! Never again folks...If they really wanted to make good on their screw up they would have seen it through. You should not have to continually call back over and over to stay on top of them to make sure their promises happen....which didn't, a complete waste of my time.

I recently used StubHub to sell a parking ticket to an event in July 2022, it is now September 2022 and I still have not been paid. StubHub claimed I did not have a default payment method saved in my profile. I created this default payment twice according to the site instructions, no payment. I called their outsourced customer service in early August 2022 to inquire about my payment, they still claim I have no default payment on my account. I once again entered a default payment and still no payment from StubHub.
I call again September 2022, customer service did find my account and verified my default payment method, I ask then why no payment? They promised payment will be in my account the next day. StubHub was once a premier secondary market for buying and selling event tickets, I used them exclusively, unfortunately this is not the same company, fees are excessive, customer service is spotty and getting paid for sold tickets is hit or miss. I purchased tickets on StubHub for the Alicia Keys concert next week at the Greek Theater that indicated the tickets were in the PIT section, which is at the very front, by the stage. The listing clearly indicated that the tickets were in the PIT zone, yet when I received the tickets, they were at the back of the venue, not the front. I spent over 1-1/2 hours on the phone with Stubhub and was hung up on 6 times before I got someone to finally tell me that they could not reverse the transaction, even though the tickets were purchased based on a misrepresentation advertised on the Stubhub website. I asked several times to speak to a supervisor, but was denied.
I will dispute the charges with my credit card company and hopefully the charge will be reversed, but there is no excuse for the behavior of Stubhub's employees answering the phones, and the failure of a supervisor to even take a call. I have photos of the website where I bought the tickets and the misrepresentation of PIT tickets. This is a warning for anyone buying tickets from Stubhub, which apparently is owned by Ebay and affiliated with Ticketmaster. They don't stand behind the representations made on their website and they don't appear to care if you don't get what you bargained for. I would not have purchased these tickets if they were not in the PIT area. Stubhub doesn't care. Good luck if you do business with them.

First it was because "no default payment method had been selected" (it had). Then it was that my bank "rejected" the transfer (LIE- I checked with my bank, who said no attempt had been made). Then it was supposedly sent to PayPal (it wasn't) but "PayPal sent it back" because I "failed to claim it".
I have called their customer service SIX TIMES. Each time, it is a struggle to communicate with the representatives. I explain the amount of difficulty I have had with StubHub, and I get responses like "Perfect" (seriously!?!), and "I don't know why it didn't go through - only the back office knows the details and you are not allowed to contact them", and "This will *definitely* get taken care of this time" (it never does). Today I have spent more than an hour on the phone with them. The first time, after a half an hour of explaining and waiting on hold, the guy I was talking to never came back to the phone. Some different person picked up, but she hadn't talked to that guy and had no idea why I was calling and made it clear she didn't care. Never use StubHub to buy tickets. We bought 4 baseball tickets last month for a game in July. E-mail after purchase said we would have the electronic tickets by Thursday before the Sunday game. On Monday this week 2 of the attendees came down with COVID and we needed to sell the tickets. Called to get help since we didn't have the barcodes for the tickets yet. Was told that wouldn't happen until 24 hours before the game. No e-mail to let us know this and website had a message they would be available on 7/21. I had to jump through multiple hoops to finally get the tickets listed. After listing we want to adjust the price and system was not letting us see the listing. Had to try 3 different browsers before we could see the listing. I will never use this company again.

Buyer beware!!!! We bought 8 tickets to a Morgan Wallen concert in NY (we live in Minnesota). We only received 4 tickets. Months of contacting them and received no tickets. StubHub asked us to transfer back the 4 tickets we did receive so they could give us our 8 tickets from a different seller. We stayed patient. Flew to NY only to have no tickets for the 8 of us and no concert to go to. Stub hub has given us the run around over and over. They agreed to give us a full refund in 3-5 days but still a month later nothing. Just receiving more Stub hub stories and run around. We are out $620 for the tickets plus airline tickets for 8. If you received your tickets you're one of the lucky ones but we did not. If you have problems they will not be solved. Stub hub is a freaking joke!

They don’t hold to their guarantee. Wrong info from customer service does not even allow them to fix their issue. Bought tickets for concert, within a few days they contacted and said to choose other tickets in another area. Did so, and after a few days tickets never were delivered. Contacted customer service who indicated they were but could not validate and that they were having system issues and to just show up at venue with Stubhub email and license. Called venue and they said this would not work and to go back to SH to push to get valid tickets. When calling back they were not willing to reach out to seller to find out if they could try again to transfer and said only thing they could do is offer a voucher.
Mind me, ticket prices had now gone up and I would now be paying g more than 3x for same section. Ultimately pushed to just refund vs voucher. I then read on their website their guarantee to offer comparable tickets so I called back. The 3rd rep said that they should of tried reissuing with seller as part of normal process. But since 2nd rep did not offer, and that a refund process had been started, that they could not assist. Thus **. No help, no guarantee, no ability to escalate. Pushed a bit more and they said a supervisor would call back before end of day. Never happened. BUYER BEWARE.

Lost approx $500 due to nonexistent customer service. Do NOT use Stubhub. Purchased tickets using Stubhub that included “FanProtect”. Ended up not being able to go due to a sick baby. Tried to get our money back and received the run around. Tried to sell said tickets. Tickets sold at a huge loss because some money back is better than none.
Very confusing process to sell and transfer tickets and we thought the process was complete but guess it was not. Spent an hour on the phone with someone who called claiming to be with Stubhub but when pressed to provide information to validate this could not provide anything. Asked to speak to supervisor. At this point we figured out how to transfer the tickets and told the person and he hung up on us prior to transferring to supervisor. Called back and asked to talk to supervisor. Waited on hold for approx 30 min. Explained bad experience and the supervisor said nothing but started quizzing us on the sale of the tickets we thought was complete. Ended up our sale was canceled.
Asked what the $100 of “FanProtect” got us and he said that it protected us as the seller as long as we transferred the tickets on time (so did nothing). I clarified that I wanted to know what the $100 of “FanProtect” got us when we bought our tickets. He then said that he was the “seller” department and we would have to talk to the “buyer” department and that he could transfer us. At this point I had spent about 2.5 hours on the phone trying to figure all of this out so I asked if he could give a direct line to the “buyer” department so I could call back later. He said no but that he could transfer me. Did not have the energy to go through the process again to get nonexistent customer service. The worst experience I have ever had. Do NOT use Stubhub. If you are lucky you won’t lose money but don’t count on it.

They want us to wait until 10 am the day of the event before they will even try to help us. We spent 524 dollars in these ticket we don’t even have. Are we supposed to fly up there and purchase a hotel and just pray for the tickets to show up? They have scammed our money and won’t even give you a personal contact number to get a hold of them. BUYER BEWARE!!! Bought a parking pass for the Notre Dame Billy Joel concert 6/25/2022 through StubHub. Drove 50 miles when I got to the parking lot at 6:10pm I was told they were full. The attendant said 'the owner overbooked and kept selling so you're on your own." We found another place to park a little ways away (for less $ btw). So I'm out the $50 I paid studbhub for parking. I figured that's okay I'll just call them tomorrow and explain as there are probably many others with the same issue and they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Well I called and after talking to two customer service reps. First one Nick hung up on me and the second Ann said she couldn't do anything because Nick still has my account open. She told me to call back later. Hmmm okay...
Called back in a couple hours. Talked to mumble mumble something??? She said, "Nothing we can do because it was yesterday." I asked to talked to her supervisor she said, "Sure please hold." After 4-5 minute hold she came back and said 'my supervisor is busy but will call you back in 10-30 minutes at my number.' So I said okay and hung up. Well that was yesterday and still no call. So I guess my recommendation is this. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM STUBHUB!!! They don't stand behind what they sell and their 100% satisfaction guarantee is a flat out lie. Oddly under purchases and orders in all three, they never showed. Caused a lot of grief because not easy to find where one can put in access code. Did so and again nothing in all three!
Their support chat is only bot FAQs that were a circle jerk. Worse, numerous calls to their support phone in which I don't care to recall how much time I wasted, hearing their slogan 'we support you right up to your seat day of' over and over, no answer. And for capper, URGENT email to customer support asking for help accessing tickets was NEVER responded to either (neither was my post-event follow email about the experience). I have lost ticket sales twice now this summer… That’s over $200.00. Do NOT use this service; use anyone but STUBHUB. The problems began right after their new app/website came out earlier this summer; MLB links season ticket holder tickets to StubHub. If you can’t attend a game, you pushed the tickets to Stubhub via a link and then punched in the sales price and your tickets posted. Their fees are steep but you got something for your tickets which is better than nothing. The week after the new app loaded I noted a set of tickets I listed were no longer listed. When I attempted to reload the tickets, I got a message that informed me that their site was not available for the week—yes, the week. If you were an MLB ticket reseller, you were out of luck. Now it’s happened again!
I noted this morning there was no listing of a sale for my tickets to last night's game; it should have listed as sold or expired. Neither. The tickets did NOT list, but my parking pass, which I can no longer add to my seat tickets, sold separately. I don't sale that many tickets doing the season--probably a dozen sets over the course of the summer for games we can't make. Those sales help me pay for my baseball habit!
In short, the automatic load of your tickets from MLB to Stubhub is gone. Your MLB tickets will not auto load from MLB; you must type the bar codes in for each ticket—plenty of room for error. The old app allowed you to view your listings with a push of one button. The new app requires you to go through your profile, and after multiple pull downs view your listings. Expired listings no longer appear; currently, the only sales listing are my sales from my tickets in 2021—last year. I am moving to another vendor—there is NO advantage to using this horrible service and paying their big fees with no automation. I’ll manually type my bar codes into another reseller’s system.

Anyway I asked that a substitute pair of tickets be sent to me. They told me I would get an email with 24-48 hours. After not receiving the email they told me they would overnight tickets to my hotel and that I would get a confirmation email. After not getting an email I called the next day and they guaranteed me they would show up at my hotel by 8am the day of the show.
4 hours later I got an email saying I was going to be refunded and my order was cancelled. I spent a total of 6 plus hours with customer service just to get the run around. A few days later, the wrong tickets were removed and a few minutes later, the SAME WRONG TICKETS were re-delivered to my account. After a second call and explaining what had happened, they did the same thing....reached out to the seller and I had to transfer the wrong tickets back to them. So after I did that, 2 weeks before the event, I finally got the correct tickets.
SO, the day before the event, we are driving to the event (7 hours into an 8 hour drive) and I get an email saying that my ticket transfer had been cancelled! 30 minutes on the phone, I try to get it resolved, think I have it resolved, and the line gets "disconnected". I call back and speak to a different person and they say that the tickets I want can be repurchased since it was cancelled. They drop the ball again and don't get the tickets repurchased for me like they said they would!
10:30pm, the night before the event, I call AGAIN and the person tells me that since the tickets were wrong, they cancelled the order! I tried to explain to the person that they were the RIGHT tickets, but she just keeps to her script and says that the only thing that I can do is go back on the website and try to repurchase the tickets myself. I tell her no thank you and proceed to purchase tickets from another source, and didn't have a bit of problem with these!

They fined me for double the face value of each ticket immediately after I sold them to a new buyer. I spent 1200 dollars on tickets from Stub hub but had to receive my tickets on Ticketmaster where the initial confusion started. Then I was not able to make the event so I had to post my tickets for sale so I posted on both stubhub and Ticketmaster. They sold on ticketmaster first and then a day later on stubhub. I was unaware that the tickets sold on both platforms to 2 different parties. To me this seems like it's set up to be confusing and to cause problems for the customer. I was unable to take my tickets off stubhub after they sold on ticketmaster in time.
Upon calling and trying to figure out what was going on with the account and trying to make understand, stubhub customer service stated that I am now penalized 100% of the cost of the tickets sold....1200 dollars!!!! Not chump change for most of us. There was no understanding on the part of customer service and no help to work the situation out. I asked if this is a common thing that happens to people and she stated yes...yes? So if it's a common problem why do you, stubhub, continue to screw people over and take advantage of us? Why wouldn't you create some clarity for customers and make this issue more aware? I'm sure the answer to that question is that you don't care about customers, you flat out don't care about people. You care about making money any way you can at our expense, through the fine print that you hide and make difficult to find!
I then asked for a manager and was told that someone will call me back today. It has been 2 days and not any attempt to call me. Stubhub charged me the penalty and got their money and that's it. The worst experience EVER!!!! I purchased a parking pass for an event, a couple hours later I was sent a single event ticket, not a parking pass. I called StubHub who called the seller and he never had a parking pass, blamed it on a software glitch. They sent my order to their sourcing dept. who didn't do anything, I had to find another parking pass on StubHub and call them, they put that parking in my account but it wasn't set for delivery until the day before the event. I traveled from Los Angeles to Miami to see this event.
The afternoon before the event which started at 11am, I called StubHub to get an update. They told me the deadline for the seller to get me my parking had expired and they called the seller, who never actually had a parking... They receive an email when their tickets sell, why didn't they tell StubHub/me that right away and why didn't StubHub/anyone contact me to tell me it wasn't going to happen and I had to call them less than half a day before the event? By this time there were no good parking passes left so I had to take a parking pass many miles away to get on a bus to take me to and from the event, for 3 straight days. So I went from great parking pass (got screwed), good parking pass (also got screwed) to horrible parking pass, and although they got me the horrible parking pass and refunded the difference, I feel like I got screwed a 3rd time.
Their so-called "Fan Protect Guarantee" says "Every order is 100% guaranteed" and "If there is an issue with your order, we’ll make it right with comparable or better tickets or your money back" but what good is a refund if you've traveled from CA to Miami just to go to the event? I'm not going to just say ok I have my money back and not go to the event, I NEEDED tickets, or in this case a parking pass. So that "guarantee" is worthless.
Not only that, they take a fee from both the seller AND the buyer. When I sold a parking pass for a different event. I listed it for $549.00, StubHub took a fee of $82.35 (15%) and the buyer pays a fee of $144.39 (26.3%) for a total of $693.39. So StubHub gets a total of $226.74 (41.3%) and I get $466.65. WAY TOO MUCH to take from both ends.

Please don't use this ticket venue. Never got my tickets although they were guaranteed. Their only remedy because they tell you no other tickets are available as their delivery is last minute, is a refund so had to buy tickets from a different vender and pay more for last-minute worse seats. Took 5 days to get my refund so money had to be initially laid out twice. Learned that the penalty to the seller for not providing the paid-for tickets is that StubHub charges them the full sale amount on their seller's credit card.
So buyer is completely taking the hit, ends up paying more for worse leftover seats if they can even get them and StubHub makes the total sale price for those who used their site to be totally aggravated, cheated and inconvenienced. And had use of the buyer's money from the date they purchased their no-show tickets until 5 days post the event. What a scam gig. I sold the tickets on Stubhub and went to transfer them. When they wouldn't transfer I called Stubhub and asked them if they could help. She asked if I wanted to cancel the transaction. I said I would like to cancel it as long as the buyer or seller don't get charged a penalty. She said that there would be a penalty so I told her no. 15 hours before I was obligated to fulfill the order. Stubhub cancelled the sell and charged me $550 for not fulfilling the order.
I called Stubhub and told them I still had 15 hours to fulfill the order. They claimed that I said and confirmed that I wanted to cancel the order. This is 100% lie. It's on a recorded line and they wouldn't play it for me. I know exactly what I said and I said I would be ok with cancelling if there were no penalties on the buyer or seller. I had the tickets and barcodes before the expired time to fulfill the order but because Stubhub cancelled the transactions 15 hours before they were supposed to I got charged over $1,000. Come to find out the buyer disputed the charge and that's why they cancelled. Not because I fulfilled the order. They lied to my face 3 times to cover up the fraud. I purchased tickets on March 19 to see a show in DC in October. Upon checking out I was given an option to pay extra to protect my tickets and be able to cancel if I needed to. I purchased this protection since I was buying my tickets so far in advance, and the two tickets I bought are collectively close to $500. Today I found out that I have to be a bridesmaid this same weekend and though I was bummed to miss the show, I thought that’s OK I bought extra insurance for these tickets. Well, it turns out that you cannot cancel. StubHub requires you to resell the tickets yourself, with a lot of hoops to jump through, in order to try to get some of your money back and then when Allianz insurance is mentioned they inform you that Allianz is a different/separate company and you have to contact them about the insurance you purchased.
I brought up that the highest the website will allow me to resell my tickets does not cover the full cost of the tickets because there’s a significant portion of what I paid that’s just StubHub fees. I was basically told that I was ** and those fees are nonrefundable. Stubhub told me to contact the Allianz about my insurance. Upon contacting Allianz I was told that admittedly there is no explanation of what this insurance is when you purchase it from StubHub, but after you receive an email that has the coverage parameters in fine print, and you have 15 days to cancel. If you don’t cancel in that 15 days, according to Allianz, you are ** and it’s your fault for not reading the fine print.
They also said that they are not aware of how their company is promoted on StubHub‘s website (I.e. being prompted to pay extra for cancellation insurance without being told exactly what that entails). As far as I’m concerned both of these companies are scams. Unless you have the money to just set on fire in front of your face I would not recommend purchasing anything from either. They don’t care about their customers, and are lining their pockets via misinformation and misrepresentation. Save yourself the trouble and do not use either of these companies.

There were no disclaimers on Stub Hub at the time of purchase, or warnings given while making the purchase. 3 days later, the "ticket" is delivered via Ticketmaster, and whoops, it's not a ticket, it's an add on for fast lane admittance. I spent more than face value ticket cost plus fees for something that doesn't actually admit me into the show. Called and complained demanding a refund or credits towards purchasing a ticket to the actual show and was denied. I sent a copy of the email receipt which says "General Admittance 1 ticket add on included" and their exact words were "We apologize for the misleading wording." Yeah, THAT's 100% a SCAM.
Some dude sold me a $5 add on for a whole lot of money, how is that legal?! They admit that the listing is misleading. Stub hub and Ticketmaster shouldn't even be allowed to resell add ons. They're explicitly counting on people making the mistake of misinterpreting them as tickets. When I emailed them all of the required documents, it came back as undeliverable. I ended up calling them to find out why my email could not be delivered, and found out that they have discontinued the program and shut down the price match site! However, this time around, my event (UCLA Basketball game) was canceled. I know it was out of Stubhub's control, but it was also out of mine. I received the letter, followed the instructions, and opted for a refund to the original form of payment. It's been ten days and still no refund. Typical refunds are three-to-five business day, but I was told it's 30 in this situation. Now - how does that make any sense? I understand it was unexpected, but it was also entirely out out my control.
It's ridiculous that Stubhub can take money from my account with one click in five seconds, but I have to wait nearly two months for my refund? Remember, business days are different than days and do not include the weekend. This is the last time I do business with them. Perhaps I hold some responsibility and should have read the fine print, but it's hard to predict a game getting cancelled due to Covid two years into the pandemic. A company shouldn't be allowed to take the money from your account until the event is completed if they refuse to refund it immediately. Five business days? That's understandable. Thirty? I got an email saying I would have a credit back to my stub hub account for future use which is fine but I would’ve rather preferred to just have the money back so I selected the option for that to happen. After I selected this option, a screen popped up saying it would take up to 30 business days to receive this refund which would drop me into sometime in late September. Come mid October, it ran through my head that I still hadn’t received my refund so I called and the lady told me to just keep waiting and blamed it on covid but it would definitely be there in the next 5 business days.
I waited the 5 business days and still nothing so I called back after about 10 days and explained what happened to the new agent and she told me it was still in processing and it would be about 10 days at the maximum so I waited once again. Now it’s mid November and I STILL haven’t gotten a refund so I called again and the woman I talked to said that it’s processed and I would see it in my account by December 6th at the latest but most likely earlier and if I don’t see it by then, it’s my banks responsibility and to call them next so I was happy with that response and I wait once again. December 8th rolls around and I still haven’t my $350 back yet and now I’ve reached the point where I realized I will never use stub hub again.
I called back and the woman said it’s processed and now it’s in the accounting department and to just be patient because there’s nothing anybody can do for me at this point which doesn’t seem like the right thing to say when their job is to help you along your way “all the way to your seat” just like your slogan says. Within the last week I have talked to 10 different employees on consecutive days trying to just get an answer and somebody finally told me that there was an issue with the refund getting to my bank which was causing it to fail and not go through.
This particular woman that was helping me this night told me she was going to get to the bottom of this issue and I would receive a call back or an email within a half hour after I hung up with her and I didn’t believe her at the time but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I waited 2 hours before calling back and had to explain everything to ANOTHER agent once again and they had no clue what to do or where do look. I had enough. I hung up with this unexperienced man and called it a night. One would assume that high ticket fees would be enough business protection for the company. Do not use this website or company or else be prepared to be ripped off.

I just wanted to inform the persons or person who is thinking about buying tickets from StubHub. This business is absolutely a false organization that sends you through to get tickets for your event. I purchased my tickets 1 week before my event. Stubhub did not have my tickets ready, and I had to call them 4 times a day of my event. First of all, I did not know that Stubhub deals with second and third parties. Whatever the case is they do not do a good job at what they do. Because of them, my 11-year-old daughter is still crying because she could not attend the BTS event. The representative when I called kept giving me the runaround and time was running out. I usually go to Ticket Master, but my co-workers assured me that this organization was legit.

On Thursday, November 18, I sold tickets on StubHub and because of an issue with a POS glitch, two buyers got the same tickets. I called as soon as StubHub opened on 11/19, and one of the two buyers accepted replacement tickets. The other buyer (Order: **), did not receive replacement tickets, and kept the tickets that were part of their order.
Despite the buyer of order ** not receiving a replacement and keeping the tickets they purchased, StubHub mistakenly allowed them to cancel the order and made an error in billing me a $395 drop sale fee. I immediately called StubHub, and after almost an hour on the phone with them, they researched the issue and confirmed that I was correct and StubHub was the one that made the mistake.
The agent on the phone apologized but said they can't do anything about reinstating the sale. All they could do was refund the incorrect $395 fee they charged me. This was disappointing but this was all they would offer, and I was told they would refund it in 2-3 business days. One week later, I still don't have a refund from them, and spent another hour on the phone with an incompetent agent who didn't know how to fix the issue and couldn't get me to a supervisor.
This is completely unacceptable as the error was on StubHub part and they even acknowledged their error, and they clearly promised a refund of the fine. At this point, I have spent hours fixing their error, and need the following:1) Immediate refund of the incorrect $395 drop sale fee, which I was already promised.
2) Because they can't seem to fix this and I have wasted hours because of their error, I'm also requesting that I be paid for the sale that they incorrectly cancelled, which I was not able to resell again because it was too close to the show time. That would have been $335.75 after commission. I need this fixed immediately.
To others: DO NOT USE STUBHUB TO SELL YOUR TICKETS. They make mistakes all the time, bill you inaccurate charges, and fixing their mistakes will take hours on your part. Instead, I am now only using VividSeats to sell. It is unfortunate, but their horrible service needs to change.

So I’ve listed tickets on StubHub for years and have always had great service. Sadly, that changed two days ago when I received a notice. They were billing me for tickets I failed to deliver. Every sale to date has included an email that stated, "Your tickets have sold." Except this time, there was no email, only a bill for $1764.00 for failure to deliver tickets. I even offered to overnight at my expense to ensure the buyer received them but they said they’d found alternatives. Negotiations resulted in a 50% reduction in the charge, yet some people are billed 40% and even less. Fine print says email notification is a courtesy, not a right. I’m broken by their deceitful nature to destroy faithful customers and not admit they screwed up. Vivid Seats allows you to accept or reject the sale. Use them. I will from now on.

I accidentally purchased an event for an NBA basketball team for the wrong date. Within 12 hours of realizing the mistake, I called the StubHub Center. They advised that since the window had passed, I was not able to be issued a refund. Here's the kicker: the refund I was going to be issued was going to then be used to make a similar purchase on StubHub's website for another event. In other words, they were only making sure that I wouldn't pay twice for the same event. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years. These idiots are so bureaucratic and rigid that they couldn't make an exception to their policy so they can keep a loyal customer. Furthermore, you have to wait FOREVER to speak to a manager. It's like trying to make an appointment to speak with the President. This business is poorly run, doesn't give a damn about the customer, and is only concerned with your money. I recommend using Seat Geek, Ticketmaster, or Vivid Seats.

I called a few months ago because I was not able to attend the rolling loud festival due to medical reasons & then I was told to keel my tickets listed and if they were not sold to call them back so they can work out something with me. Well guess what? I called them back, multiple times!!!! They are completely understaffed and did not take my call at all! I was waiting for someone to pick up for over 1 hr. Then, finally today I called AGAIN & Shantel picked up, I told her I needed the refund because my tickets were not sold. She called me back and said that it was not possible because months has been passed by.
I EXPLAINED to her that I have been trying to reach out to them multiple times. But they do not seem to understand that. I spoke with the supervisor Twoin, and let me tell you the worse experience. They are not customer service oriented company. I actually work for a company and we’re very big on making our customers happy. This company is the worse!!! Purchased full price tickets 6 months ago for outside lands. The tickets did not get shipped until a day ago (event starts today). According to UPS, the tickets will not be delivered tonight. So, I'm missing the first day of the show and in this horrible state of anxiety wondering if my $800 tickets are going to waste. After waiting on hold for an hour, I got in touch with customer service to which they responded, since it's a three day show and the tickets are arriving part way through the show, they cannot offer me a refund. LOL. I suppose next time I will just buy tickets for the second two days? Furthermore, they stated that since UPS now has the tickets, it's not their fault and if UPS has further delays, there is nothing they can do. Absolutely ridiculous.
Furthermore, the companies website and call center is very dysfunctional. When calling in, the automated response continually told me the show has been rescheduled, which it has not been, further adding to my anxiety. What I don't understand is why they simply didn't send me the tickets when I purchased them. Instead of enjoying myself and getting ready for the show, I'm now worried about this and trying to get the tickets last minute. Totally not worth it!!! Agreed with all the others on here that this is a shady company and not upholding their promises. I recommend you look elsewhere for tickets.

I listed the tickets for sale and StubHub suggested I sell them for $600(?). I kept them listed for weeks hoping to get my money back and it came to crunch time and I was forced to sell them at a loss (sold for $700). I was told my tickets were sold and I washed my hands of the terrible experience. Only to notice a few days later StubHub actually CHARGED ME another $700 because of the sale. So not only did I spend $1,300 on the tickets, they took away an additional $700 (that I never even got in the first place) so I am out a total of $2,000 with no customer service email and a phone number that I waited on hold with for hours and never got through. WOW! Do not buy from StubHub unless it's your last resort! Very shady business practices. I paid $500 for 2 tickets because they were advertising that there were only a few left. I went on the venue's website (Which I should have done first) and seen that there were literally hundreds of tickets available for $85 for the exact same seats. I even called customer service on 2 separate occasions right after I seen the price hike to try and cancel but they are no help.
The tickets are for a show in Dec 2021. It's Oct 2021!! They gave the run around and offered to re sell the tickets for me. Absolutely absurd and I'm not even sure how this is legal. I was supposed to receive mobile transfer tickets but received PDF tickets instead, I purchased 2 tickets and received 10 (the 8 additional tickets were somewhat marked through). This concerned me. I called customer service (I spoke with rep Eanna E. the entire 2 hours I was on the phone) and they had me send the PDF of the tickets I received. She said she could not believe someone would send this and she has never seen this before and she was trying to call the seller but they did not answer. She said she was going to reach out to try to get me replacement tickets or a refund. After a long wait she had me check my email and she had sent me what they called “fixed tickets” which was 2 PDF files, each containing one of my tickets from the PDF file I sent them. Customer service had been very polite up to this point, but that changed.
When custom service sent me the PDF tickets the first question I asked was, "Do the tickets need to be printed" and I was advised, "Yes they do need to be printed." I told them I don’t have access to a printer and purposely ordered mobile transfer tickets for that reason. I had already read in several places on the StubHub website that PDF tickets should be printed because all venues will not accept a PDF ticket from your phone. I asked if there was any way they could provide me with any type of mobile transfer tickets because that is what I ordered and I just wanted what I ordered. I was told no they could not do that. I asked if they could provide a refund so I could go back and order tickets that were mobile transfer and they said no.
I was upset because I did not receive what I ordered and they told me it didn’t matter because they were charging the seller and that I had tickets to get in so there was nothing they will do to help me. I reiterated that I had no access to a printer and did not feel secure with the tickets because I also had access to the additional 8 tickets that were sent with my tickets (which means anyone else who bought tickets from this seller has access to my tickets as well). Customer service then said that their sources are saying I can use the PDF tickets on my phone and they don’t have to be printed, I told them about seeing on the StubHub site about PDF tickets should be printed and they said they don’t know what else to tell me and there is nothing they will do, the tickets will work and the only options I have is to either go or sell the tickets.
I told them the tickets were for my daughter's 14th birthday and I was going to have to drive about 2.5 hours to get to the concert and I’ve very concerned that we will not be able to get in and just wanted secure tickets but they said the tickets will work and I can either go or sell them. I ended up selling the tickets as PDF and uploaded the “fixed tickets” sent to me by StubHub customer service and I ended up taking almost a $50 loss. Also since I won’t receive payment from the tickets until 5-8 days after the concert I can’t afford to purchase new tickets to take my daughter to the event. I can’t believe something so simple turned out so horribly. Just being curious I looked and was able to very easily remove the black markings for the other 8 tickets so anyone who received that file had all 10 tickets that could be printed and used, including my 2 tickets!

I bought six tickets to a college football game a month in advance. As game day approached, the electronic tickets were not showing up. It turns out that StubHub allows ticket sellers to wait until game day to turn in their tickets. Our ticket seller never turned in our tickets, so we were left holding the bag, with no tickets to the game, and no time to recover. This policy is clearly 100% in favor of the ticket seller, and puts the ticket buyer in a precarious position. Allowing ticket sellers to wait until the day of the event leaves no fallback position for the ticket buyer. And if you buy alternate tickets, and then the seller comes through on event day, you are left with two sets of tickets and no time to try to recover your money.
With such anti-buyer policies, I don't know how Stubhub can operate as a business. Also, the now famous lack of customer service was very clear. I called their contact center multiple times, sitting on hold for over three hours on two occasions before giving up. On 9/2 I get an email saying my tickets for the 9/4 show won't get delivered until 9/7 which is 3 days after event. So the morning of 9/4 I fly from Texas to Colorado without the tickets I purchased for the event. For the last almost 3 weeks I've been trying to get through to Stubhub without luck. For years I've been using Stubhub to buy and sell tickets and have never had a problem until now. Not planning on using Stubhub's service, nor will be recommending it anymore.

I have used StubHub previously without issues. I told my daughter when she turned 7, I would take her to her firsts concert of her choice. So when I trusted stubhub with our ticket purchase on Feb. 14, 2020 before the world fell apart, little did I know I just paid out $388.03 that I would never see again. They first offered through email a 125% credit. Later, they emailed stating continue with the credit or refund. I followed all of the steps provided to request the refund. I waited 2 hours on the phone x 2 with them and both times the agent states the refund was issued on May 29, 2021 at 9:46am back to the same card. I have checked the statements of any card that may have been used, although I know which one it was and there is NO CREDIT. I am told I have to go to the bank and bank has to dispute however my bank says it is on their end, they do not see an attempt to refund me so they cannot dispute this.
I asked for the supervisor and the lady was so short and rude with me stating there is nothing she can do as it shows the refund was successful. I hate that I have had this experience and now hesitate to purchase through any ticket dealer at this point but they have lost my business forever and I am hoping if you read this, they don't get yours either as they have sent me in circles. I have all statements, emails, etc. to prove them wrong and will continue to do so until I am successful. However, business is forever lost with them.

I purchased three tickets for Alabama/Florida on 8/23/21. The day before the game I received an email from the seller that she had just been notified of the sale and they were already sold. This was $1000 worth of tickets. Stubhub has used my money for almost a month. I sat on hold 4 times that day for over an hour with nothing but their annoying music on hold. I've now written 17 songs to their repetitive tune. It's gameday and my account states that I have been offered substitutions. I have zero emails or calls from Stubhub. I had to pack up and just go home as the game is now underway. I guess small claims court is where I'm heading with this next week.

This site allowed me to place a parking pass for sale for which they later determined would not work. They determined that AFTER it was sold and delivered. They then stated that I needed to pay the full balance ($600). I needed to pay the full balance even though the buyer was going to be refunded. This was all after being on hold for a combined total of 5 hours. So the buyer is being refunded and then I have to pay Stub Hub $600 for absolutely nothing? It was still a day before the event, and of course they would not contact the buyer for me. This site is an absolute joke. The customer service is an absolute joke. Never received email from either that the event was postponed. StubHub claimed they did send an email but it wasn't in the Inbox/Junk/Deleted Items so it's my word against theirs. There was nothing posted on the event page on StubHub about the event being postponed either. Ticketmaster claimed they weren't obligated to inform us as that was StubHub's responsibility. My boss took his clients to this event only to find out the hard & embarrassing way that the event was cancelled. Thankfully, he also looked at the site that day to confirm the info & also never saw any mention of the event being postponed until 2022 so I wasn't fired over this.
Requested a refund. The Customer Service Rep who I had to stay on hold for for over 2 hours was the NASTIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP EVER. Basically told me "too bad, we sent you an email". When I said I'd call my credit card company to dispute this charge she said "Go ahead, because StubHub will then freeze your account until it's resolved and in the end StubHub will win anyway". This company makes a FORTUNE off of their customers. The least they could have done was offer a partial refund. Truly disgusting Customer Service and policy.

The platform has tabs to show pending sales, sales, completed sales, etc. My tickets were nowhere to be found. I tried to call and contact StubHub assistance in a variety of ways and could never reach anyone or have anyone assist me. The event occurred and my tickets were not sold. I placed an order (**) for Luke Combs tickets in Kidd Brewer Stadium, Boone, NC. I placed this order in March 2021. Later, the concert was postponed to September 4th yet, I never received an email to collect the tickets. I called twice in the two weeks leading up to the concert and spent more than three hours on the phone each time and got no resolution. I was assured both times that the problem was being passed onto the next tier to be worked and that I would hear back from someone.
That never happened. The day of the concert came and went and no help from Stubhub, no calls, no tickets. So, I'm out over $600 now because of a failure on Stubhub's part to handle their problem calls seriously. I am highly disappointed that such a used business has such terrible customer service and a complete lack of care for their customers. They offer to allow me to sell with no "sellers" fee and they do not refund the "buyers" fee that I paid. If my tickets sell, I can purchase new tickets and a second "buyers" fee. That's 2 "buyers" fee paid by me for going to one game. Keep in mind that the purchasers of my sold tickets will pay a new "buyers" fee for the same set of tickets that this fee was already paid on. This is unethical that it is not refunded to allow the sale as I could not go to the game. DON'T DO IT! No matter how bad you need to sell tickets, DON'T GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE. THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY. I added two tickets to Garth Brooks. Went in and edited those tickets. The entry didn't show up in my account nor in the tickets for sale. Five minutes went by (I can verify because StubHub customer service told me the exact times that this happened) and nothing, so I added the two tickets again. Went back into my account and only saw that entry, went into tickets for sale and only saw that entry. Went into my account hours later and those two tickets had been sold twice!
Apparently, the first entry I put in "reappeared". Called customer service and they said they were charging my credit card the $200 because I couldn't provide the tickets to the second person, and they wouldn't cancel the second person's purchase. So, not only did the person who bought the tickets that already sold because the entry was duplicated lose $200+fees, I lost $200+fees. StubHub made ~$500 from NOTHING BUT AN ERROR IN THEIR SYSTEM. It's not difficult to code a program to recognize if the same seats were entered twice and reject that second entry.
Instead, they're making out like bandits by their system not posting an edit for well over 5 minutes and instead made it completely disappear for 10 minutes or more (remember, only ONE entry was listed in the tickets for sale after I added what was apparently the second entry, which was five minutes after the first entry, so their system literally removed the first entry and added the update back in AT LEAST 10 minutes later!).
I ESSENTIALLY PAID MONEY TO GIVE MY TICKETS AWAY!! I paid $189.90 for two tickets, sold them for $200 and PAID STUBHUB $200 for them selling my tickets TWICE! I finally got ahold of someone after 3.5 hours and when I explained that I couldn’t list the tickets for the price I paid for them he offered to transfer me to the sales dept to help me. Then he put me on hold for another 30 mins before they disconnected the line… This company leaves you with no options or support. The only part of this company that works without a problem is the part that takes your money.

Do NOT buy or sell from Stubhub. I bought 2 concert tickets a year ago and kept my tickets on the stubhub app on my phone, I could no longer attend the concert so I decided to list my tickets. After I put one ticket up for sale they logged me out of my account and wouldn't let me log in. I sat on hold with customer service for 3 hours and managed to get my other ticket up for sale and the same thing happened. I sat on hold again and they flagged my account and deactivated both of my listings. Overall, I've been on hold with them multiple times just to get my account back and list my tickets, the customer service is terrible and so is the website.

In a nutshell. I just so happen to be working in New York when the Yankees were playing the Red Sox and my coworker and I purchased two tickets. When purchasing these tickets on StubHub I noticed because I hadn’t been vaccinated that I needed to make sure I picked the right section and I did. Well long story short they wouldn’t let us in and when I called Stub hub they said yes that it said I had to vaccinated. Well funny thing is I told her it didn’t and I said I took a screenshot of it. Told me someone would get back with me and they didn’t! I called 3 times to which the first call I was put on hold for so long and they disconnected! The 2nd time I had waited an hour on hold and the 3rd I waited an 1 hour an half to get disconnected again after I explained my situation! I have not yet to hear from them! I hope everyone stops purchasing from this **!!!!

Ordered Cirque O tickets June 29 2021 for a July 3 show. Was committed for a July 2 delivery. Didn't receive. Contacted StubHub July 1. 2hr 23min hold time. Was told to be patient. Received confirmation from stub hub July 3 tickets were available on mobile transfer but no email from seller anywhere. 3hour and 30 min hold. No answer. I gave up at that point. Contacted my credit card to dispute charge.

StubHub is a rip off. I don't know how this company is not shut down. First off after you buy tickets they tell you to watch your email for transfer of tickets however they never send them. This company deals with people reselling tickets and transferring them by email. My experience turned out to be a complete loss. I paid card, was charged, money was taken out. Email told me that the original owner was notified and watch for transfer. It never came. 2nd of all when you call the number to customer service it's a recording saying they're open from 830 to 430 Mon thru Fri. I called at 9 am 1 pm and 4pm got a recording telling me the hours 3 times.
So in the end you get a big F. You lost money and no tickets. No one to help. May as well not bother just buy direct from the venue or Live Nation. At least your money would go to an actual ticket. DONT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME ON STUB HUB. It's not a Better Business Bureau certified company so they can screw all types of people and post pandemic they're trying to make to make money. Be Careful!!!!

I have not received my ticket and the wait time to troubleshoot is 3 hours. I will never use them again. What a stressful experience. I will make it my mission in life to tell everyone not to use StubHub as this is a complete failure.

WARNING!!!! Don’t ever order from #StubHub!!! Because I purchased Alabama tickets in Nashville and I entered a PO Box number and contacted them with a updated street address on 2 different times and tickets was rerouted in plenty of time to receive my tickets. Never received my tickets up-to the day of the concert and they will not refund my money. Customer Service is terrible!!! On hold over 3 hrs!! I’ve called everyday for 7 days to just get the runaround. So I’m out $390!!!

I get it. NO one anticipated COVID, and how far its tentacles reached. Thought it would be nice buying tickets to hear James Taylor at Tanglewood July 4th 2021 weekend. Unfortunately, concert was rescheduled to 2022; since I have no clue what I wanted to do in 2022 and neither did the other 3 folks I was going with we decided not to continue and ask for our money back. What was I thinking?
So here it is in summary form after being on hold for half an hour with co. reps: They will not refund the money. I will need to relist the tickets to see if someone else is interested in purchasing them. Once someone purchases the tickets it is my responsibility to ship the ticket to the new buyer. Oh yeah, by the way the tickets are being shipped to me in June of next year. I have approx 1 month to receive them and email them to the buyer(s). So I guess if I wanted to go on vacation in June of 2022 I can't, since I don't know when I will be getting the ticket and they will need to mail it out in time. And of course if all my tickets don't sell I lose the money. :)
All of this while the customer service guy tells me they are trying to be fair to both the buyers and sellers. At the rate they are going who knows if they will even be in business next year, don't buy tickets or anything else from these people! This is the first negative review I've written and hopefully my last. Don't like to waste my time doing this sort of thing but felt I had to this time. Lesson learned.

I purchased a Billie Eilish concert ticket from StubHub being performed at Madison Square garden in February 2022. The advertisement for the ticket I purchased said "floor general admission row 1 seat 3-4." My receipt also says that. I received my ticket and it says general admission STANDING row GA7 seat 29. I called StubHub and they said "that's the way it is. All STANDING on the the floor, no seats." They could not explain why they false advertised their tickets and told me I could sell my ticket if I didn't want to stand!!!! I will never purchase from StubHub again. Buyers beware!!

BEWARE!!!! MAKING A PURCHASE FROM STUBHUB DOES NOT MEAN YOU GO TO A GAME. They can take it back hours later and cancel the purchase just before the game you planned to attend. It is such a terrible business and they don't care. We bought tickets from STUBHUB this morning for our family of 4 to go to the Atlanta Hawks playoff basketball game. The sale went through on the agreed upon price and they took our money for the assigned seats in the Terrace level. I stopped looking for other tickets and my family all got ready for the game tonight. My husband even got off work early. As we were leaving to go to the game, StubHub sends us a notice that lets us know 2hrs before the game that the tickets we bought and paid for are now not available.
There are no other tickets available together in the stadium except in the most upper deck at the same price. They just said "Sorry, it happens" and stated that BUYING A TICKET FROM THEM DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET THE TICKET OR GET TO GO TO THE GAME. If the seller also sells the tickets on another site (like Ticketmaster), STUBHUB has no way of knowing this but holds your money and leads you to believe you have the tickets which you bought. How do these companies not have a way to guarantee their tickets or monitor if the seller even has the tickets or is still selling them??? You can buy the tickets, make plans, and then find out right before the game the tickets you bought aren't there????
What???? They sell tickets they have no access to and cannot guarantee anything- A PURCHASE MEANS NOTHING!!!. I spent hours on the phone with customer service and their response is just "Sorry". This is such a terrible business model. Please use another way to purchase tickets as Stubhub is a mess - they can only take your money but can't deliver tickets. Even after they take your money, a purchase means nothing. We still haven't even been refunded our money and our plans are ruined. How can they not let you know in a timely manner the purchase made from them was not a purchase???? Their business is to sell tickets but they can't actually deliver what you purchase. We could have gotten tickets elsewhere if if we knew right away, but STUBHUB CAN"T MONITOR THEIR OWN TICKETS. We are all so disappointed. WHAT A SHAM!!!!

I recently purchased Red Sox tickets on StubHub based on their photo of the view from the seats. When I arrived at those actual seats home plate was blocked by a pillar. This ruined the game for us as we could not see anyone at bat. It was never mentioned in the description or the view of the seats. After paying over $500 fir my family’s once a year Fenway experience I am furious and will never use stub hub again. What a sham. They should be ashamed of their greed and fraud.

Stubhub has policies in place that will harm both seller and buyer. Please beware because if you have an issue their customer service will not help, that's if you can reach them through their "3 hour wait time" which exists all the time. Joke of a company.

I had a horrible experience with Stubhub's customer service. I would be very wary of buying anything from Stubhub if you think there's even a remote possibility that you'll have to engage their customer service team to resolve any issue. I'd purchased tickets for a show for $650 back before the pandemic, and when the pandemic caused the show to be cancelled, Stubhub came out with a promotion to allow you to either get a full refund or take a credit of 120%. I decided to take the 120% so that I could do fun outdoors activities with my kids (120% of $650 is a lot of money!). The emails they sent out gave instructions on how to accept the offer, but when I logged in those options weren't available to me. So, I called Customer Service...
Several attempts to call failed because I didn't have the time to wait on the long holds (wasn't expecting to wait more than 15min), so I went digging for a customer service email option or even a virtual chat....nothing.... Finally, when an email came out saying the end of the promotion was a few days away, I decided to find a couple hours and just do the hold game. Sure enough, after being on hold for 54min, I finally spoke to a human being. She was perfectly nice, but she told me she couldn't resolve the issue and that she'd need to pass my case on to the technical team. When I hadn't heard anything in a couple days, I called back, but again the wait times on hold were too long and I didn't get through. Finally, I ended up getting an email saying my money was being refunded, so I called and sat on hold again, until I finally got through to someone.
I then spent longer on the phone with a CS agent who literally kept repeating the same words over and over indicating that the promotion was over (despite my attempts to take advantage of the promotion before it ended) and that they would not honor it. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor after she said she couldn't help me, but she placed me on hold for another several minutes and came back and said there were no supervisors available due to the high volume of calls. I spoke with her more (very politely)...kind of to see how long I could get her to talk to me....
It was a game for me at that point since I was never going to get to take advantage of this promotion. I kind of enjoyed just being very polite and seeing if I could get her to see it from my perspective, but she kept reading from a script or something that said "the promotion is over". Eventually, I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and she said "okay" and put me on hold....I was on hold for 15 more minutes, and then they hung up on me.
In all, I estimate I spent about 4 hours trying to resolve this issue, but had no luck despite my very reasonable request and situation. I always believe, having a calm demeanor, showing people on the other end of the phone respect, and being polite is the best way to handle these types of situations, but in this case....with Stubhub, there is no hope of good customer service.
