    Don’t even waste your money purchasing a plan from them. I’ve been in the process of filing a claim for my TV since November 13, 2024. Still no resolution. And they refuse to send a tech out to fix it. I’ve had better service with Asurion.

    I got Allstate through Walmart for a Cinderella carriage ring. It was our 20th anniversary ring that my husband had bought for me. When the sapphire had fallen out of the ring, I filed a claim with Allstate and the claims process was wonderful. It took me 10 minutes. That was probably the quickest filing of a claim that I've ever done in my life, and I was very impressed about that.

    I didn't get paid the amount that I spent on the ring and when I went to try to get a replacement ring, they no longer carried that ring at Walmart so I just got groceries with the money. I wish that I could've replaced the ring, but all in all, I was very happy. I'd purchased that ring three times. On the third time, I happened to see the brochure about the protection plan. It was only $15. They didn't tell me about it but I asked if I could get it and they said yes. But it took a long time to even get anybody there. They're not on hand with a lot of things. They tend to ignore people. The people themselves are not hands-on with recommending it, but I would still recommend it. Allstate works. They cover you.

    The reciprocating saw stopped working and Allstate ended up giving me the full refund of the price that I paid for the item and it was in the form of a gift card.     I got my grandson a dinosaur for $50. They asked if I would like the plan for $2, and I said no. Three days later, that dinosaur broke. I could have paid that $2 and we could have gotten it fixed. Now, I get Allstate from Walmart for all my stuff. It's easier to make a claim now too. I'm understanding the questions and things to do. I filed a claim for my son's bike that would not charge. I got to call them back because they told me to take it to a shop and whatever I would pay, they would reimburse me. But it's not that. It's the plug. I need to know if there is any way they can replace the charger or where I can purchase another one. Otherwise, Allstate is good to have and it's not that much money. The bike cost me $800, and I paid $15 for three years. With the bike boat before, I've needed brakes a couple of times and they've replaced them.

    We had NFM deliver an LG washer and dryer set. But they had to come back the next day and get the washer because it was full of water and spewed water all over me when I opened it after they installed it. Then they brought this one, and this one has been iffy. I am not happy. This washer has been having issues ongoing, and I've called LG. We did some problem solving with them, and they were nice enough to try and help us. It was back working but the washer quit working. They said to call and file a claim.

    Allstate ordered a part in. The guy came and put in the part but then said they'd be back in a couple weeks because they had to replace the motherboard. The guy said, "We'll get you a tracking number for the motherboard.” I said, "Can you give me the tracking number now?” He said, "It'll be tomorrow before we get a tracking number.” For something like a refrigerator and a washer or dryer, they need to prioritize that. I've been without a washer at least three weeks now, and I have special needs kids. I've spent $200 at the laundromat already.

    Allstate had me scheduled for an appointment last week then sent me a text saying the appointment was gonna be canceled and had to be moved. I called them and they said they'd send me a $50 check. It puts a dent in the situation, but it doesn't help. I'm supposed to have my washer fixed Wednesday, fingers crossed. They shipped the motherboard and we're waiting on that to be put in. I'm a strong believer in taking out policies, and Allstate's price is affordable, but if you're gonna have to order in three major parts, is it worth tying up all this time?

    I bought a 75-inch TV in Costco. I bought this protective plan from Costco but is Allstate I am not recommend nobody to buy this plan from Allstate, the reason because my TV is a two years old, the screen is falling down 75 into TV Samsung. I called them today, they told me he is not covered, this is crazy, why I paid this plan for. Please everyone think twice before you guys getting in trouble like me get robbed like me. I wish I can give them a 0 stars but the limit is 1, they are garbage. They only steal your money. When you need your TV broke, first of all they don't like to answer the phone. I have to involve Costco to talk to them after Costco hang up the phone, they said is not carbon, less than two years old TV. Please everybody read my review, do not buy it, you guys gonna get robbed like me. This ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLANS IS Garbage !!!

    You're told one thing and then you find out it's something different. When I first put in the claim, Allstate said, "Okay. It qualifies under the warranty, so we'll replace it with something of equal value 'cause we can't replace it with what you had, or what you had wasn't available." I had an upright carpet cleaner. But they sent me options for handheld carpet cleaners that were a value of less than 50% of what I paid for the original one, the one I had. So, I called back. It takes forever to try to figure out how to get through their system to get to a person. I ended up getting back to a person. I told them that I couldn't accept any of those because I needed an upright one. I bought it upright because I have disabilities. I can't use a handheld. They said, "All right." They had to put it in for review to see if it would be approved to offer me something different. It would take two to three business days.

    About a week and a half later, I had to go through the process again. I called back and the person said, "It would take a business day or two to do it." I said, "It's been a week and a half. I'm wondering if anything's been heard about it." He said, "Well, I need to escalate it and somebody should get ahold of you in one to two business days." Then two days later, I got an email that said they couldn't replace the product. So, they would give me my money back in the form of a Walmart gift card. If I didn't want the Walmart gift card, they'd send me a check, but I needed to let them know which way to go. So, you just check a button if you'll take the Walmart gift card, and that was what I did. Then they sent me another email with a code in it that said, "You could take this to the Walmart store and they'll scan it and It'll be good." But then they had trouble scanning it and finally got that problem resolved at the Walmart store.

    It's a hassle when you have a specific problem and you have to spend a lot of time on the phone trying to get ahold of a person that understands what you're saying to resolve the problem. But other than that, Allstate made good on it. So I was happy. But it was a pretty big hassle to do it. I did have to replace it because I needed to get another vac right away.

    Allstate covers a lot, and it's simple to put in a claim. I sent a tablet to them to get it fixed. It was some superficial scratches and little cracks on the top. When I got it back, you could tell that it was fixed and it didn't have the superficial cracks anymore, but now the inside screen has scratches on it that it did not have previously. There's a bunch of dirt, dust and hair fibers all around the screen. Some had even gotten trapped inside the screen. I feel they just did a quick switch of the screen and didn't care about how they were sending it back. They should be a tad bit more considerate when work is being done.

    When I reached out to them, the only thing they could offer me was for me to send it back out. They didn't tell me how it would go about if they were fixing the inside screen, which I don't know if it's possible because of the way it looks or if I would be getting a new tablet. Allstate did what they could do. But I wasn't happy with the fact that they had my daughter's tablet for a little over a week and I got it back even more damaged. My daughter does schooling on there and the day I got it back, they wanted me to send it right back. It's frustrating having to send it back and forth, but at the end of the day, I don't have to pay for this out of pocket. It's anywhere from $30 to $100 to get this fixed.

    I purchased an air conditioner and during the few hot days in the fall, we turned it on, but the power would no longer support the unit. I submitted a claim online and it seemed a little impersonal, but for what it's worth and for what had to be done, it was sufficient. We tried different plugs and the techs determined that the unit had an electronic failure, then Allstate sent in a new air conditioner that we received. It's not the same model and we didn't put it in yet because it's getting to be winter now, but we're planning on putting it in the spring. I'm very satisfied with Allstate and I appreciate the process being so quick. Based on things that happened in the past, getting a protection plan for items that are over a couple $100 is definitely worth it.

    I got Allstate for a toy and a phone. The payment is good but I have had difficulties with the replacement. With the phone, it had cracked and I was trying to get it replaced, but they didn't replace it. I had to replace it myself then they'd give me a gift card. It wasn't very helpful. The whole reasoning for purchasing the warranty was so that if something happened, I'd be able to replace it, but instead I had to come out of pocket again.

    I bought a recliner that had motors and I thought I ought to get a protection plan because it was mechanical and if something might go round. The recliner didn't work the way I wanted it to work, so I had to have someone come out and look at it. I called Allstate on the phone and they sent somebody out. The guy was very nice and helpful. He took a good look at the recliner and told me to call Allstate back and let them know that the recliner couldn't be repaired, then let them do what they were gonna do. Allstate told me to ship it back to them. However, I didn't have the original box, so they told me to either throw the recliner away or donate it and they refunded my money. Everything was really nice and having the protection plan was worth it. It cost me $100 to pay for a $500 recliner. I would definitely buy the plan again on something that important.

    We bought coverage for a television, and then the television died and we made a claim. We couldn't find our receipt for a little while. So it took us a little bit to get a receipt from Target. They wanted to send us a new TV instead of just sending us reimbursement for a TV. But we had already bought a television set, a different one, while we were going through this process. That was a little annoying. I would rather have a check even if it was for a little bit less than what we actually paid, but they sent us a new TV. From the time that we finished the claim, it took us about a week to get from the beginning to the end for the claim, and then just a few days for them to send us a new TV. It would have been quicker if we would've had our receipt, that we could've emailed them right away.

    There have been several things that I have bought protection plans and had a great result with Allstate. I like that Allstate does cover a lot of accidental. However, there was an issue one time. My daughter got a job over the summer, and she wanted an iPhone. She purchased one from Walmart. I told her, “If you do that, make sure you purchase the protection plan.” Did that. We had to send it in for a repair once. That went smooth. She didn't have it back for two and a half weeks. She dropped it in the lake.

    During that time that we tried to send it in for repair, because it covered spills, Allstate received received the item. It was supposed to be three to five days before we got it back. I sent it out June 19th. I did not have my issue resolved with them until after my daughter started school sometime in August. They had problems contacting the repair company that they use that was supposed to communicate. I called several times and had to be escalated to management because they kept telling me the same thing, to wait for an email. I never received an email from the company that would fix it.

    They resolved my issue by replacing the item. They purchased it from Amazon. Very clearly, it said to confirm the package was sealed and to call them if there were any problems. When I opened the package, because it was sealed with their paper tape, and there was no phone inside of the box that came in the package. That was very frustrating to deal with after taking several weeks to deal with that. I called again. They tried to tell me something else along the line, to wait for an email. I had been going through it for five weeks by that point. I was, “No. I wanna talk to a supervisor.”

    The supervisor issued me a refund of the protection plan. They took care of it. But it was extremely frustrating to have to deal with the same answers for the problem. “Wait for an email. Wait for an email.” I never received an email all the way up until way after when they deemed the item irreparable. Other than that, I always had a great time with Allstate. I have them for my cell phone that I have through a carrier. I was just happy that I was able to get the situation resolved and they took care of it. Even though it took several weeks, they made it right by refunding me the money of the purchase and the money that we paid for the warranty with. My daughter already had the phone for a year.

    I will never buy a protection plan with Allstate again. I would first like to state that I shop at Sam's Club and Wayfair which both offer protection plans and that I always purchase. But this is a scam, the company only covers what the manufacturer covers, it was sold and marketed as if they cover accidental damage which it does not. I called to make a claim and was told after the first call which I was told their system was down and that I needed to call them back, second call was told that even though there is no damage to the screen from cracking that because the picture was spider webbed that is was not covered. I will never be a customer of Allstate and for this marketing lies I will make sure that everyone that I can help not to be scammed by them knows never to buy this. I wish there was a zero star. I warn you. NEVER buy THIS Warranty. You will be better over to register with the manufacturer. This is a scam.

    I broke my headphones. It was a pain in the butt filing a claim with Allstate because they wanted pictures and they took so long. I went and bought a separate pair of headphones to use for the time being. Then the headphones they sent me were not even the right ones. They're not compatible with the video game that I use the headphones for. So, I have a pair of headphones that are pretty much useless. I didn't even bother calling them back because it was such a pain just to make the claim. I figured it was not worth my time or effort to fight with them.

    I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Allstate’s TV Protection Plan, and I must say I am thoroughly disappointed with the service and the limitations of the coverage. I filed a claim after experiencing issues with my TV, only to be told that the problem—image burn-in—was not covered under their plan. Allstate's explanation for this was that burn-in, which is essentially discoloration or remnants of previous images on the screen, is categorized as panel damage and falls under their exclusions. According to the terms and conditions, they do not cover damage caused by burn-in, misuse, accidental damage, or cosmetic issues that do not affect the device's functionality.

    To make matters worse, I was informed that this particular protection plan is a basic one, which apparently does not cover any kind of damage or defects outside of "mechanical and electrical failures during normal use." This was not made clear when I purchased the plan, and I felt misled by the vague and limited coverage. The customer service team suggested that I reach out to Costco for a refund on the warranty, leaving me without any solution for my damaged TV.

    The protection plan, in essence, is useless for anything beyond the most basic issues, and even then, the process of trying to get help feels like a hassle. It’s frustrating to realize that what I thought was a safety net in case of problems is actually just a way to absolve Allstate from responsibility.     My LG OLED TV was purchased 2 Oct 2021 from Costco. An Allstate Protection Plan was provided with the purchase. In July of this year I filed a claim with photos of dark image in the center of the screen and in the lower right colored dots. I got a reply back the the images I sent was from “burn-in” and not covered under the warranty. I called today and spoke to a customer service person and asked them what they were going to do about the pixel problem because pixels are a covered repair in the warranty. She told me that her support team deemed the issue is burn-in. I tried to explain that the dots at the lower right in the image are stuck or damaged pixels. She still maintained it as burn-in. I told her I was going to write Costco about the coverage under this plan. I decide to try here first.

    I bought an Iphone from Staples Canada and purchased the Square Trade warranty at that time. I will never purchase a warranty plan from Square Trade again. After my phone was broken, I had to go to a Staples store where five different employees helped me initiate the very difficult and lengthy process of starting the claim. The claim was accepted, and I paid the deductible which was immediately taken out of my account.

    In the following 11 days I made five follow-up phone calls, which were also lengthy and repetitive, talking to very pleasant "front line" agents, supervisors, and senior supervisors. Each time I was assured that the replacement phone would be sent to me within 1-2 business days, and if I didn't hear from them I should follow up with a phone call. Today the senior supervisor assured me that I will be reimbursed the full amount of my original purchase and that I will receive a confirmation email stating such today. The cheque should show up at my mailbox within six days. We will see. I recommend shoppers stay away from this company.

    At first glance Allstate has good reviews and has good coverage. But when it comes down to actually having an issue, they are pretty rude and negligent. I would not recommend them at all. I had a stain on my couch which stains are covered under the protection plan we bought. We sent photos and everything. They said we will be getting a cleaning kit. 1. It never showed up. 2. An email they claimed to have sent, never was received. They cared not about either of these things. They obviously have a biased opinion on if the stain counts as a stain by a picture and what it "looks" like to them.

    For their better sake it will always "look" like a unacceptable type of stain and they will call normal discoloring. Which it is not. They do not actually try to help you when you call. They say sorry which they are not since they don't want to lose money. I had the 2 worst experiences with the reps on the phone and even worst times getting any help on the claims. We never received any cleaning kit and refused to even send us one since they didn't think the stain was a stain.

    The lady that helped me initially when I put a claim for the drain pump that went out on my washing machine was very good. She helped diagnose the problem. Then she set up an appointment right away with their repair company that they use, and she sent out the parts. Where it got bad was the company that they used. It was impossible to get ahold of them to confirm my appointment. There was no way to reach them. Their phone number that I was given was busy and I couldn't even leave a message. At the same time, Allstate customer service was very difficult to get ahold of. I was emailing them. They also could not reach their own company that they had hired.

    I had been without a washing machine for a week. I was a nervous wreck ‘cause it was a Friday and one of the parts that needed showed up late. Luckily, it showed up at 1 o'clock and the service tech was supposed to be there between 3:00 and 6:00. The saving grace was their tech was amazing. Allstate's companies have to be vetted and they have to be able to be reached, but other than that, I like their process. I've used them in the past, and I've had no issues.

    I had an air fryer that just went out while I was using it. I called Walmart and explained to them that the item was newly purchased. Walmart directed me to Allstate, so I called and lodged a complaint about the item going out on me so quickly. I had a protection plan on, and they said that based on the information that it wouldn't power on, it will be covered under the manufacturing warranty that I had. They said that they would make a claim submitted for me, so I started online and they completed it when I called them. Overall, my interaction with the rep was good. He gave me directions what to do or what I was supposed to expect in my email, so when I clicked on the link, I didn't have enough challenge. I put in what I got from Walmart, the name of the manufacturer and the model of the air fryer that I had, then I called Allstate back after I finished that part, and they helped me to complete the transaction.

    Everything went smoothly, but the claims process could be a little easier. I wish it could just be one way. Either I do everything online or when I call them, they put in the information on my behalf. I was also hoping for a replacement because I liked the air fryer that I got. It gave me good service, but it went out too quick. Allstate issued me a refund by a gift card on Walmart. Still, once the option is available, I'll definitely tell people to pay the couple of dollars extra to get coverage for their appliances because they're guaranteed to get a replacement or a refund once it's under the manufacturer's warranty. I saw the option to get the protection plan on Walmart. It was about $7. I didn't think much into it, and I didn't even think that I would ever use it, but I was glad I got it. It was really worth it because the unit went out within less than two months.

    I have to figure out how my policy works myself, and I find Allstate to be very difficult to work with. I've had to file a claim and it was very hard. It's all online and then you have to fill out online. And then, they want you to call in and you jump through all the hoops and then they lose the stuff and you have to repeat the process. I've had to do that. The last claim I did, I had to do that two times. I'm in the middle of a claim right now that I'm trying to get processed. It's been two and a half weeks. They finally got all the paperwork through after I had to redo it several times. Everybody's polite, but the follow through is rough. Other than that, the price is reasonable. They go by how much you pay on something. The online service is easy for navigation. We're older though, so it's harder for us to navigate the site, and I'm also disabled. I have a lot of problems with my hands.

    I did a claim to Allstate in the past week or so. I called and they needed a particular number from the receipt where I purchased the item and it was aggravating because I had to go to Walmart to get them to reprint me a receipt that they could see. It was just a little inconvenience. They processed the claim and they've already sent me an e-card from Walmart for me to get another phone.

The process was pretty smooth. Allstate sent me a check for an All-Terrain Batmobile and the remote control of that as well. They also gave the option to have it replaced but I haven't heard back from them about the replacement. I didn't get a chance to select the item.     I am writing this review to right a wrong. In an earlier review I had stated my despair of Allstate ever making good on a PROTECTION PLAN claim that I had filed. ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN came through after all. I was pleasantly surprised when Allstate actually came through and sent me a check. Not only did their customer service rep call me in an effort to rectify my claim, but the phone call was followed by a check in the mail.

Good luck collecting from some obscure manufacturing company on mainland China. Why did they accept my money for a protection plan if they do not intend to follow through and pay up? I feel cheated by Allstate.

    I bought my wife a phone. It was over 1000 so I got insurance from SquareTrade. She loves taking pictures and she was on ladder 25 to 30 feet so she used phone to take pictures. Phone dropped. I called them because website wasn't working and it took 4 or 5 days for them to deny my claim because The phone was bent. Well 30 foot drop can do that and I believe any person knows that. So I contacted BBB BOI and FTC and reported them. They call me explained everything to him and does nothing to try and fix the problem. He told me they can't reopen the case. They only called so they can say they tried. What I'm not understanding is how is this even legal.

    Update: They called back and told me because I took the cover off the phone and could of caused more damage they won't claim it. I pulled cover off to make sure the phone didn't have battery damage. My home will not burn down because of a bad business practices. She then told me they will give me 400 of the 1049 dollar if I cancel my plan. They have tried to buy my plan out every phone call.

    Within three weeks of purchasing the plan, I placed a piece of mail. Well, like everybody, I took the mail and dropped it on the table. But it was raining that day. And so, there were raindrops on the paper and it took the finish completely off all the way down to the wood. Nebraska Furniture Mart replaced it, at that time. I made a claim to Allstate, and I've already received reimbursement. The claim process was super easy. The people where I purchased the insurance from did help me fill the forms out.     I decided to get the service with Allstate to have protection on our items in case something were to malfunction or if something were to go wrong with it. We prefer having protection with any insurance that Walmart recommends. One day, the Google Hub was working perfectly fine and the next day, it just didn't turn on anymore.     My son was gifted a Walmart-specific toy and his grandparents purchased the protection plan from Allstate. When the toy broke within three weeks, they had to transfer the protection plan into my name. The claims process was painful. It probably took me about 15 hours of work over the course of three weeks, which is a long time. I had to make a number of different calls and I sat on hold forever. These calls were going well outside of the United States to people who don't speak English and I couldn’t understand them very well. I work with an international community on a daily basis but there's a point where if you're in a customer care situation, you need to try to help them understand. And it's not just purely not understanding the accent. There is something that's lost in translation when you move from any language. So the language barrier was tremendous. I just didn't understand often what I was being asked to do.

    At first, I called Allstate. They have an electronic filing system, which is fine but it just told me to call the manufacturer. Contacting the manufacturer was extremely hard because the product was purchased from Walmart and you can't just find this information online. Luckily, my wife was smart enough to look at the underside of this toy. So, we called the number that was on the sticker near the serial number. They told me I have to wait six months and then, the Allstate warranty kicks in. So, I waited to get to the six-month point after purchase to begin the claims process.

    I was told the first step in the process was to try to repair the toy at a verified repair shop. So, I was on the phone talking to someone who I couldn't understand and who was speaking from prompts and wasn't speaking very clearly. The toy was a power wheel-like toy and wasn’t something that you go out and repair. We don't live in an environment anymore where things are repaired. Typically, they're just replaced. So, my question was where I was gonna get this thing repaired. Toy shops just aren't a thing. This was purchased at Walmart and they’re not gonna repair it. So, the person told me they were gonna send me a list of vendors. I was extremely skeptical about that. I'm 99% positive this person didn't live in the United States and I had no idea how they were gonna get this information. It took about three days.

    I got an email that stated that the first part of the process was to try to repair it and then, Allstate would reimburse me for repairs. I didn't like that. That seems like a lot of work and this product cost $450. I live in Houston, Texas and the store that was provided in the link was a bicycle repair shop that didn't have any locations in the Houston area. There are some products that you can repair and some that you can't. If the heel fell off my shoe, I'd go to a shoe repair shop. There's still a couple of those. But when my \ Walmart-specific power wheel tank fails, that's not a product that anyone would consider to be fixed.

    I got this email and then, I called. I spent another two hours calling around, looking for independent computer repair shops. I called three of them and one of two said they don't do stuff like this. One guy finally said he would look at it. But he charges $150 an hour to do his kind of work and he doesn't work on products like that. And the toy is big. It weighs 80 pounds. I was thinking how I was gonna get there. I got a truck because I live in Texas but after planning on that for about a week, I called Allstate back and told them I couldn’t get it done. There's no repair solution. That's not even a part of the solution. Finally, I talked to a guy who, after speaking to his manager a number of times, said they would just send me a check. So, I got my check and I’m good. It took a lot of time to do this.

    There were multiple times throughout the process that I was left wondering that no one who created this warranty process thought it out. If it's the case that the warranty is simply to replace the product, that's fine. But that wasn't the case. At the end of the day, I don't know if it was Allstate's decision to do the warranty. But I would recommend that they consider that there might be some products that you just don't do a warranty for. It's upsetting because it's hard to see how the intent isn't simply to make the process so onerous and so complicated that people just simply give up. It's hard to see that that isn't the end goal.

    I've had an Allstate plan for electronics, sweepers, stoves, and refrigerators because nowadays, everything is disposable. Recently, my vacuum cleaner went out. If I get it off the charger, it would not run. But if I put it back on the charger and leave it there for 20 minutes, it would charge up and run for a while. Then it would die because it wouldn’t fully charge. So, I decided to change the battery in it. Despite doing that, it still did the same thing.

    So, I went online and submitted a claim with Allstate. The process went pretty well. I told them what was wrong with the vacuum cleaner and they told me that they would check into it. I got one for a radar detector for a car and I filed a claim a month after buying the item because the speaker stopped working and I had no sound. Allstate's customer service was pretty decent.     We purchased a protection plan because we wanted make sure that we could get our Xbox One controller replaced in the event that something went wrong. It's the fourth one we've had, and they're notorious for having problems. There seems to be a flaw in the design wherein eventually the little joystick things would have a mind of its own and start doing its own thing. It's called drift and it's a common issue. This is the third one we've done since the first one because Microsoft said, “Okay, we'll replace it.” After the first one they did, ever since then, we've bought the protection plan. It's only a couple bucks and it's totally worth it.

    The first time we did a claim, Allstate told us, “It’s still within the year warranty, so contact Microsoft.” We did and Microsoft said, “Well, you could just take it to get repaired.” No one repairs those around here, but luckily, my husband had backup controllers. He said, “Hey, can you see if we can do it again?” So I did it online, and all they wanted to do was have us take it somewhere to get it fixed. There's no one around here that fixes those, and if they did, it might cost more than the controller.

    I got on the chat and said, “Hey, we don't have a place around here that can fix them.” The guy I chatted with said, “Okay. It's been accepted. We'll send you a return label. Just ship it back to us.” I thought, “Sweet! Sounds good to me.” It was simple. I printed out the label and sent the controller back. I took it to Fedex yesterday. They scanned it, and within three hours, I had the Target gift card in my email, which is what the guy said would happen.     When my son's eyeglasses fell and hit the surface, the edge of it broke, so the lens fell out and it got scratched as well. I submitted a claim online and Allstate's website was user-friendly. What kills me is I had the receipt, but I still had to look for the manufacturer number and the model number, which are not easily obtained. I had to go back to the store, then they went back and gave it to me. It was seamless and quick after that. Allstate ended up giving me an electronic Sam's card with the reimbursement so I could take it to Sam's, and they would charge that card for it.     When I made the initial call to Grand Appliance Repair, I was referred to and forwarded to the extended warranty number. The gentleman that answered my call was very respectful, gathered the correct needed information from me. I did have little trouble understanding him. There was some barrier in his dialect but when I asked to repeat, he politely and calmly did so. At the end of the call, he was instructing me how to capture a video of the problem when appliance was in use. Sending me a link to access and send video back. The appliance would shut off with no sound each time it was started and one time made a grating sound. Told him first I did not know how to capture it shutting off and I didn’t know how to use a link or send video back. My understanding of technology not the best. I said just send a repairman, I don’t care how long I have to wait for a person to come.

Repairman did not use those parts but replaced what he thought was the problem but machine continued to shut down each time he tried. He said either the motor or electrical problem or both. Only two people in this household, machine not abused ever washing clothes. Received a letter indicating reimbursement would be process, not repair. Was sent check and received in 7 days.

    This has been a horrible experience! Everything seemed to be a loop. You were told to call a number but yet, it directs you to a text. Then nothing comes of it. You pay for a repair, replacement or reimbursement. But Allstate said that I needed to figure out what the issue, buy the parts, make the repairs and then get reimbursed for them. If I was comfortable doing all of that, I would not have bought the warranty to begin with!

    I purchased Allstate for a Bosch kitchen range. It was the extended warranty plan offered at the store. I did file a claim. I bought this range last year and I had about six repair calls with Bosch, the manufacturer. Finally, we got to the point where I said to Bosch, "You haven't been able to fix my oven, give me a new one." They said, "Absolutely not. We're done with you. We have nothing to do with you. Don't darken our door." At that point, I called the store and they said, "You've got to deal with the extended warranty."

    So, I called Allstate. They scheduled a service call immediately and sent me parts that they thought they might need to repair the problem I was complaining about, and they scheduled a visit. A few days before they came, Bosch called me, and the representative from Bosch said, "We don't know what anybody told you, but that's a lot of nonsense. And you have warranties on all the service calls we've made for you. So, now, we're going to fix your oven."

    They scheduled to come out and I called Allstate and said, "Stand down your repair man because I don't think he wanna come and spend time and money if Bosch is gonna fix it." Bosch came and they did things and it's now working. So, I called Allstate back and said, "It's working. Tell me how to send the parts back," and I sent the parts back. So, my experience with Allstate has been fine. They were very supportive.

    Communication was pretty good. Emails were sent within a day or two. But I was disappointed that the replacement TV was not the same “kind” as what I previously had. I had OLED LG TV and was only given Samsung QLED as a replacement. I was told it was a comparable TV. To me OLED & QLED are different TVs. I was happy to have the extra warranty. However not being given the same TV choice as a replacement was extremely disappointing.

    The picture on the first TV went out completely. Allstate asked me to take a picture of the front and the back, and I followed all the instruction and sent it to them. They had more questions and I answered all of them. For the second TV, the picture would come and go, then I would see a blue screen. I took a picture and video of it and sent it to them. They asked me to do it one more time which I did.

    They replaced the TV and called me to ask if I was happy with everything and if everything was working. The first time when they replaced the other TV, the TV was from Best Buy. It didn't work and had no voice. I called Allstate up and the rep said “Ma'am, put them in the box because if you just got it and it's not working. I don't want you have something to go through trouble.” I then took them to UPS. Allstate told me to take a picture from UPS and the claim number and to send it to them. I did and the next day, they said my new TV was on the way. On both claims, Allstate gave me such a good service. They kept in touch with me and every one of them was so polite on the phone. I was in customer service, and Allstate goes above and beyond. Every individual was trained and did an outstanding job.

They said they would send somebody here to take this big old thing up but they are not in touch with me at all. I was in touch with Mainstay Walmart still on the one-year warranty and they assured me that something would happen in 24 hours. They said I would have a new microwave back today but nothing has happened at all.

    I have talked to about 20 different people between Mainstay Walmart, the manager at Walmart, and Allstate. Everybody's been polite. It's just nobody seems to want to take the initiative and nobody is taking any responsibility for giving this thing back to the store and replacing it so I can have a microwave. I'm 66 years old, disabled, and I don't drive and I can't. This thing boxed up is about the size of an ottoman in my living room and there's no way I could get it back to the store. They're telling me they're going to do this and nothing happens. Being a Senior Walmart+ member, this is ridiculous.

    When I was buying a laptop on eBay, there was an Allstate option to get a protection plan, and I bought the plan for a year. The laptop worked really well for about a year, then towards the end of it, the charging port stopped working and then the computer started crashing even when it was at full charge. The problems started within the year, but by the time I went to file the claim, it had been over that year. When I called Allstate, the representative I was talking to said, "Yeah, I can talk to my manager and we can see if we can make an exception like extend that warranty." He did and it was really helpful.

    Allstate had me send the laptop to them and it took about five days for them to receive the package, then they sent me an email confirming that they received it. They're gonna fix my laptop and send it back. I haven't received the laptop back yet, but I had a good experience with Allstate.     I bought an electric bike and I also bought a protection plan from Allstate for about three years for this bike. It has a problem with its rear tire. So, I called and asked an officer whether this problem of tire can be protected by the protection plan and he said that the tire is not included in the plan. So, I can only return this electric bike and cancel the protection plan. The manufacturer said that he could send me a new tire, but it requires me to replace it by myself. It's so difficult for me to fix it by myself. It's just a new bike and I don't want to pay money to fix it. I still haven't used it. The manufacturer said that a fast way is to return my electric bike and I can place a new order. I only returned it and I haven't placed a new order.

    At the beginning, before buying the electric bike, I talked to an officer. He said, "You can fix the tire and you can set a claim in the protection plan and it will offer you to pay your money back." I think that's great. He said that I also can call the fixer at my home to fix this and Allstate can pay money back. I also sent the claim, but they rejected me and said this can't be included in the protection plan. Overall, I don't know what's included in the protection plan. I just bought it and the worker and I both think I can fix my electric bike for free in the future. I paid this money and they said, "Your problem in electric bike can't be included in the protection plan. So your claim, it'll be rejected." Allstate is terrible.

    The TV would not work. It was completely black. It wouldn't turn on or do anything. I first talked to a representative and I had to do a portion of it online. Allstate Protection Plans gave me an option of three. That was a little aggravating on two parts. The online part was fine, but I was instructed to call a technician and had to talk to a technician about everything. I explained everything to the technicians. I had to record a video of what I said so they could make sure that what said was right and I didn't try to just get a free TV out of it. It had to be under eight seconds long for me to be able to send it to them, which was aggravating trying to show them a problem on the TV in that duration. It took me 15 minutes because I took many videos, but they were all too long. I finally had to get to the underneath eight seconds for it to send because other than that, the file was too big. It's hardly enough proof. I don't know if they can change that.

    The second thing that was aggravating was when I got the choice of three TVs to choose from, I tried to do it online and select it but it wouldn't take, and I was not sure why. Maybe that one was out of stock and the computer didn't know that. I had to wait a few more days to call back because that was over a weekend. And when I got in touch with somebody, it took a little while with them, too. We ordered the TV that I wanted out of the three. They called back a day after, and said I couldn't get that one because it was out of stock and that I had to pick a different one. It ended up only being one that I could choose instead of the three. That was a little bad. They shouldn't even have the other options. It should have been more streamlined than that. I ended up with the same sort of TV. It was at least the same size, and it worked. I had no problems with it after setting it up.

    The smart glasses have a power button on the two temple bars and each one powers individually. Then, they Bluetooth pair together to get stereo sound. The button on the left temple bar didn’t work and originally, I tried to get Lucyd, who is the company that makes the glasses, to back their product. But they wouldn't. I had bought the Allstate plan so I contacted them and let them know that the glasses I had were damaged or weren't working properly. The claims process was a bit cumbersome. Since I bought the plan on eBay when I bought the glasses, they were linked. Allstate knew that I had purchased the glasses through eBay and they asked me to look at three similar glasses to the one I bought and select one. They said they would ship them to me.

    I emailed Allstate back and told them that the exact same pair of glasses that I got are still available on eBay. I like the glasses. It's just the one bar that wasn’t working. So I had to choose one of the three and when I got the pair that Allstate sent me from Walmart, it didn't work. So, I had to contact them again and they said they would just give me a refund and send a check. There were three emails and also a phone call before I finally got ahold of the person who took care of the claim. She said it would be one day and they would send me a check. Once Allstate finally got it right, I got the check in two days. So, the total claim was a week.

    The experience could be better. Allstate only gave me the three options that I could get from Walmart. They could have said I can go to this spot and purchase the exact same glasses I got for the exact same price. But that's not how they work so that part was frustrating. But overall, they ended up sending me a check for what I paid for the glasses. SquareTrade used to be a standalone and I've insured several things with them and never had any issues. And now, it's Allstate. I would recommend them. They did what they said they would do.

    I got a laptop and I was going to be careful with it. But if I dropped it or it was defective, I needed some measure because I didn't want to eat the whole amount for the repair or replacement. I got the Allstate plan and I submitted a claim when my laptop wouldn't come on one morning. It was blinking a code off of the caps lock key and I knew that was some kind of code for them because that light doesn't usually blink. I told the guy when I called the insurance company and he told me it was probably memory. So he sent me the shipping label then I packed up the laptop and sent it away to FedEx.

    I had to take the machine to a FedEx place where FedEx picks up. This happens to be a Dollar General store and they wouldn't give me a receipt for it. I didn't want to give out my phone to people at Dollar General, but I had to give them my phone number and they sent me on a text. FedEx is okay, but the image of the Dollar General is not the same. People run in and steal stuff out of there. So now, I'm dependent on the text message I got as being my receipt. But that's the only thing I didn't like about the process.

    Allstate also sent me an email saying it'd be three to five days for them to let me know whether they're going to be able to fix it or whatever would happen next. So they kept me posted and I'm still waiting right now. It took a while to get the label, then I waited a couple of days because I bought another laptop because I couldn't wait. It was going to take 7 to 10 days to get the shipping label. I pay bills over the internet, so I got to have it. And now, I'll have a backup or I can give somebody one if I feel like it.

    The first time I used Allstate on a tablet, I had no problem and I got the replacement. But I bought tow tablets and when I used the protection plan on the second one, I had a hellacious time. They kept telling me that it was for the same item, the first one, and it wasn't. Also, I bought the plan online, so I didn't have a receipt. So, I had to go back through Walmart.com, copy everything, go back into Allstate, then paste it all back in there. I had to prove that it was for a different tablet. I had to cut and paste where it showed two tablets being bought on the same receipt. Because both tablets went out within two weeks of each other and I had to claim both of them.

    I needed my daughter to help me and once we did that, I got the email then I had the new tablet the next day. But it was a hassle. I need somebody to talk to when I have a problem like that but at the time, I couldn't get through t a person. I have another deal of another one that I need to claim, but I don't want to go in their website because it's a hassle trying to put the claim in because I have nobody to talk to. Allstate needs to have customer service, somebody to talk to. You can't do it through their computerized thing.

    I sent my device for repair and packaged it in bubble wrap as instructed. I included my paperwork and charger on top of the bubble wrap. However, I received an email stating that my watch was not in the package I sent. I was directed to call FedEx and file a claim, which I did. FedEx confirmed that my package was delivered as expected, but my watch is still missing. I am out the money spent on the watch and the warranty. Each time I contact the repair service after receiving FedEx's statement, they keep telling me to contact FedEx. However, FedEx did not lose my watch. I did not get any of the packing material back that I sent with my watch despite having asked for it and being assured it would all be returned.

    As a result, my watch might have been thrown away or stolen. If I had received my packing material back, I could have taken the watch out of the bubble wrap and sent it back, as they advised me to use less packing material. Instead, I cannot return it for repairs. This has become a frustrating cycle of communication, with FedEx stating that they received the package and that nothing should be missing. I'm exhausted from this situation, and it's clear that they do not understand that they are in possession of my merchandise while I am left without it, likely due to it being lost or stolen while in their possession.

    On July 30, a “new” washer was delivered to my house. This was a replacement washer for one I had purchased from Costco 2 years earlier. I had also purchased an extended warranty through Costco with Allstate Protection Plan by Square Trade. For over 2 years my washer was serviced multiple times for the same issues and finally had to be replaced. The washer that was delivered did not work properly. I sent an email back saying it was not working just like the email from Allstate Square Trade said to do the next day, you can see the dates on the email it was delivered on July 30 and I responded on July 31. I spent hours and hours on a weekly basis dealing with rude and unprofessional employees telling me lies and giving me different information and just not wanting to help.

    I was supposed to have a new washer delivered on 8/17. No delivery came and I called and was told they would be sending me an email with a new date. Nothing happened and I called again and then I’m told all different stories. Now It’s not their problem, I didn’t report it in time, it’s not under warranty, they don’t have anything to do with it, it’s the manufacturer that’s has to deal with it, it’s the store (Home Depot) so call them… one excuse after another from these employees who didn’t help and ignored my emails…I’m the customer, I purchased the plan and they didn’t deliver. The delivery on July 30 by Allstate (Square Trade) was a nonworking machine from the wrong store. I reported it on July 31. I am due what I paid for. A new, properly working washing machine, from Costco.

    You can see in the emails everything I said is true. Then they lied after I filed a BBB and you can see where they now claim Home Depot is saying it was past 48 hours when it was reported, which you can clearly see in the dated emails that is untrue and say I didn't return a call, and untrue and why wouldn't you call me back? So since that I can prove that is false, why are they still not honoring the warranty I paid for?

    No customer should have to go through this. This company should be ashamed that a customer was treated like this for so long. This is not how you do business or treat people. I will definitely forward this to Costco and have others do the same so they know this is a company they should not do business with and make sure it is posted in the FB groups.

    Updated on 10/23/2024: I finally received the reimbursement check after months of wasted time with your chat department.

    Original Review: I needed a repair to my LG refrigerator ice maker and got approval to get my own repair company to come out and fix and Allstate would reimburse me for the repair. I did so, and send all receipts to Allstate and they approved the claim and said they mailed me a check. I did not receive the check in a few weeks, so I go to online chat and they say they will stop payment and resend a new check, I will receive in about 6 business days. This has happened FOUR TIMES NOW (5 months) AND I still to this day HAVE NOT RECEIVED a check in the mail. They can’t even give me proof that a check was even printed or mailed. I guess I will have to sue in small claims court to get my reimbursement check. WHAT A SCAM! I will never buy an Allstate or Squaretrade protection scam plan again. Home Depot should be ashamed to sell a plan from this SCAM of a company.

    Don’t ever buy a LG fridge. Our three and a half year old fridge with extended warranty through Allstate quit cooling and the compressor quit. We had to replace our fridge in July at our own expense as they would only send 250 to buy a mini fridge one month later. We were told by an agent a fridge was not a necessity. Now we are almost through October and have never been reimbursed for our 2100 dollars for our fridge, a poor excuse for customer service.

    The claim process was easy enough. But then, they lied about sending me an email with a virtual Mastercard. I'm an IT professional and know how to check spam filters. 4 devices and no mail, no spam. It was not sent. Then after about 6 more days they informed me they "ran out of gift cards" and I would need to settle for a paper check in the USPS. Well, it's been more than the 5-7 business days and I'm still waiting. Do not purchase from Allstate. I will be filing a claim with the State Insurance Commissioner for breach of contract.

    Using the service was a lot easier than I thought. I had a Walmart app, which I didn't know I have, and I went through that. It had all my information and I submitted the claim, which was really easy. The only part that was weird was they said they were gonna send me an email with an affidavit to sign and I never got the email. Five days or more later, I replied to the email saying I never received it and right after that, they sent it to me. That was the only thing that was not super smooth but it wasn't a big deal.

    The claim was for a bike for 6-foot and up people. The rear wheel in the gears were screwed up so I filed the claim, see what would happen, and they went for a full replacement. It said that once you make your decision, you can't go back. But the replacements they offered me were smaller and I didn't wanna click on that and then end up getting something that I didn't know. I asked them about it and they emailed me back saying they couldn't find an exact replacement so they sent me a check for the purchase amount of the bicycle. It was a $300 bike and I got it on sale. The check is $122. I can put that towards another bike or maybe find one on sale again.

    Allstate is outstanding. I purchased it for a Friedrich portable single unit dehumidifier. But nobody works on these things. They told me there's nobody in my area that's able to work on it and if I can find somebody, they'll reimburse me $75. But everybody in my area, within 60 miles of the national capital region, doesn't work on dehumidifiers. It requires an additional certification, which is too expensive for them to get relative to what happens. They said it's not worth it because none of the portables has a valve on it which allows them to check it to ensure whether they work on it or not.

    Essentially, I buy a unit by the three-year plan and get reimbursed for it. I've told Allstate people, "I'm surprised that you cover these things because there's no way to get them repaired." They're very understanding. The last time, I did not have to send in the broken unit. I took it to the local dump, took pictures of the serial numbers and the picture of the unit at the dump. This time, they wanted it sent to them to confirm whether it was bad or not. It's a heavy unit. It's about 15 pounds. But they paid for shipping.

    I got Allstate for my Turtle Beach headphones. These headphones were 60-some dollars. I did not want to spend another $60 to get headphones when I could get a warranty plan and have a replacement for free. You get the warranty, tell them exactly what happened and they will give you what best covers that item. When the right headphone piece snapped all the way off, I logged in to Allstate to file a claim.     I have an electronic stereo amplifier and it didn't work properly. It was cutting out. I didn't think it was the amp at first. I switched speakers as well as the radio, then once I switched the amp, I realized what it was. I made calls to eBay, but it had gone beyond the point where I could return it.     I got a robotic pool vacuum and I bought the plan because it was relatively inexpensive. It's a three-year and it was only like $39. The vacuum worked wonderful all summer and then the last time we went to use it, it wouldn't charge. I initially went to the company that made it, as you're supposed to because it still had that warranty, and they only supplied an email. When I contacted them, my Gmail came back and said, "Well, keep trying." But basically, the email didn't exist.

    I bought a Whirlpool washing machine through Menards and with how things are made nowadays, it's not going to last forever. So, I put a five-year Allstate warranty on it. I filed a claim recently and Dave’s Repair Service is going to take care of it tomorrow. We got water leaking underneath the washing machine and it's in the gear drive. Probably, the gasket went bad on it.

    When I submitted my claim, Allstate's website was a pain in the butt. You had to do everything online and you couldn't call anybody right away. Once I got that figured out, I made the phone call to the other company that they use and they called me back. Then they were able to work it out to send me another link which required me to upload two videos of what was going on with the washing machine. So, I had to run the washing machine and show them the noise as well as the water under the floor after a cycle. That seemed like a long process and there were too many hoops to jump through. That could be improved a little better. But other than that, at this point, I haven't had any issues and it's been a good experience.

    I made one claim with Allstate Protection Plans, and the refrigerator only had to defrost 24 hours the first time and it fixed itself. This time, I couldn't get the ice maker to start. I couldn't get the bin out. It has been unplugged for over a week, which is not happy because I don't have a refrigerator. I went online and it logged me in, and picked my item. I only have the refrigerator there, so it was easy to pick that. I had to call in, the robocall started, and that was where it got convoluted because it was hard to figure out which ones to choose. I thought I already opened a claim, but I haven't until I got it approved when I talk to somebody human, which took me a few times to get the right combinations of codes to get a person.

    I tried the text calling. It said, “Let us text you.” When I got to somebody there, they would say, “No, you've got to talk to a human.” It did multiple text calls, shot out for I don't know what reason. I got them in the middle of the night, and it wanted my feedback, and it still wanted my feedback on how my resolution was. But I don't have a resolution yet. Tomorrow, it will be seven days. Allstate told me to unplug it, and the next day, call them back.

    I called them back and with all those issues. They said, “Okay. On Thursday.” I said, “Okay. The family is still gonna be on vacation, so it'll just be me.” I couldn't cook anything unless I would not have leftovers. I eat peanut butter and celery because I don't have any bread. I can't do eggs. Can't put a lot of meat in my fridge. I’m limited on my space. My backup refrigerator is only 10 cubic feet so I don't have room to put leftovers. I should have bought another full size one, but I don't have room in my kitchen for two full size refrigerators.

    Allstate told me that today, there was supposed to be a service man. But the service man made the appointment, he said it would be next Monday, and the parts are supposed to be here tomorrow so I don't have much choice to wait another four days unless I wanna buy a new fridge. I have bought a smaller fridge, so I have a bit of room rather than pay another two grand for a full size refrigerator. I have a backup refrigerator and a backup freezer because of the first one in April where I had to unplug my refrigerator for two days.

    Allstate has been horrific. Insurance-wise, they were lovely. But with these care plans, no. They're terrible. I've lost a laptop. I've lost a printer. I've been waiting for a cellphone that I sent in for over eight weeks, and it's still not resolved. It could take weeks to get in touch with somebody. I would have to wait for hours. If I even got somebody, it would be a good day. Allstate is the worst service to the point that I'm uncertain if I would buy another plan. I generally have always bought the plans if it's something over $100, or if it's an electronic, which I'm not experienced with. Even for my $49 phone, I bought one. It has been in limbo for 10 weeks.     I purchased 18 plans from this company. I have not able to log into my account any longer. I called the company. Very difficult to reach them and get ahold of someone. Got hung up on a bunch of times. I finally requested to cancel all my warranties since I cannot log into my account. Spent hours working on this and now they will not give me refunds without physical copies of all the receipts for all the companies already filed with the Better Business Bureau. I do not recommend ever doing business with this company. Super unprofessional company. I wouldn't trust them to re-warranty anything.

    Claim_**. Allstate proved to me that they do anything falsely to deny a claim no matter what! I purchased my Laptop from eBay, and I decided along with this laptop to purchase a protection for my Laptop with Allstate, a few months later my Laptop all the sudden stopped working for no reasons, not by spilling any liquids or any accidents at all. So I decided to contact Allstate to repair my Laptop, they asked me to ship the Laptop to their center for repair which I did.

    Several days later after receiving my Laptop they contacted me claiming my Laptop could not be covered for repair due to (Liquid Damaged).. They Emailed me 3 photos of the inside Laptop with some marks and stains on the top of battery and speaker and because of that they came quickly to this conclusion the system was liquid damaged and they can not honor the repair. I am 100% honestly acknowledging, I never exposed this Laptop to any liquid and inside of it with some marks were exactly how I purchased it from ebay. So I decided after Allstate refused to repair my Laptop, take it to a local PC repair shop and have a second opinion to find out why my Laptop all the sudden stopped working.

    After their extensive troubleshooting and inspection on my Laptop, they found no evidence of liquid damage at all, Their conclusion was, this specific gaming Laptop motherboard has a very high rate of failure out of nowhere, they also told me they received numbers of the same model of Laptops in their shop for repair for the same reasons!

    We have 2 Allstate Protection Plans, 1 for our electronics, and 1 for our washer and dryer. Sadly, we've had to file (ATTEMPT) to file claims on each plan. The first took over 3 weeks to get the service tech scheduled. The second was attempted today. We were told 'We will not be able to file a claim for this issue'! They refuse to send a tech to determine the cause of the issue... just flat out refused to file or help! They were more than happy to collect our plan payment though! Fortunately, we were able to cancel the plan covering our electronic products. Wish we could get our money back on both plans because they are USELESS!

    When I tried to file a claim online, it was denied. Allstate said that it was under a manufacturer warranty, which it was not. I had to take an extra step, reach out to the manufacturer and provide verification to Allstate that it was a six-month warranty and not a one-year warranty. But when I spoke to customer service, it was wonderful. The person I spoke with was Moses and he was delightful. I felt like I had made a good choice in choosing Allstate. But once the claim was filed with Moses, it was transferred to a different department to do the actual replacement of the four-wheeler. Then it was like dealing with an insurance agency. The claim was put through for an electrical failure on a 12-volt ride-on toy. I was offered the replacement brushless motor for the wheels and I was also offered replacement parts. I had to deny those as suitable options and none of the replacement options after that were equal to what I had insured.

    The purchase price of the replacement that I received was $10 less than my original purchase, but the quality is 70% less and I was not satisfied with it. The replacement one operates like a 6-volt machine so it goes half the speed of the 12-volt. However, it had the novelty of having a music function which my five-year-old enjoys. I let bygones be bygones because he's enjoying it but if I have another option, I'm gonna go with that.

    This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I've had to file a claim with them twice in the past 6 months for separate items and was disappointed both times. The first was with my son's gamer chair. One of the five Wheels on the base broke off with him sitting on the chair, and he weighs 90 lbs. When I filed a claim, I was refused and they stated they didn't cover this even though it was obviously a malfunction of the part. There is no way of contacting anybody other than a chat option on the website and that does nothing if you need to speak to any type of management or higher up. The second claim that I had to file was for my computer since it wouldn't power on all of a sudden.

    I was finally able to get ahold of them and push through a claim and they told me to mailing my item and they would fix it in a timely manner. They don't know what a time like manner means apparently because it took 5 weeks before my PC was returned. Then when I opened it up I was astounded to find that my item still was unable to power on and there was now obvious damage done to my device. I contacted them to figure it out and they had me follow another claim and resend it back out. I'm currently waiting to see what happens next but and thoroughly discussed it with their services and feel that I should be compensated in some way for the damage they caused.

    We got an Allstate protection plan for our Keurig coffee maker. We had bought the duo system - one was the single serve and the other was the carafe. We mostly use the single serve, but when I went to use the carafe to brew a whole pot, it would only brew two cups then stop. I tried it four separate times but could not get it to brew a full pot. I had tried running the descaler through it but it would not brew a whole pot.

    When I did the claim with Allstate, it was really quick. I just had to fill out questions about the item and explain what was wrong with it. And at first, they said that they might try and send a new one out. But since they didn't have one, they mailed a check for reimbursement. I told my sister that Allstate is worth it if she ever thought she might want a protection plan. On the off chance that something goes wrong, the process is easy. It only took a week and a half between the time I started my claim to the time I got the check and was able to go buy a new machine.

Had a Vizio and a replaced it with Insignia and is nowhere near as good a TV as the Vizio the 55 in Vizio that it replaced. 55 in Vizio replaced with a crappy and 55-in insignia.     I called Allstate to send in a claim for the air conditioner and then my mother had to do the claim online. It was pretty complicated, but it worked. I'm grateful for the replacement. But Allstate needs to provide replacement models that are more comparable to the model that was purchased. Our air conditioner now is fine, but it wasn't as big and it didn't have the features that the other one had. It was definitely a huge downgrade. Instead of big push buttons, it has a little touchscreen, which is a big downfall. I'm blind. Our previous air conditioner had a remote with big buttons, which I was able to feel what I was doing. It also had some voice control capabilities and it was able to cool the house better. Then we went from this to a flat remote with buttons that I can't feel and there's no voice commands.

    Our previous air conditioner is no longer sold anymore. But you still wanna find something that will do what that one did. We went from like 14,000 BTU down to 8,000. They could have done 10,000 or 12,000. There was a sale for a 14,000 one that at that time and it had the same features as our old model, just different brand, but Allstate wouldn't spring for that one. But I'm really glad that this program exists because the insides of our air conditioner blew up. We were without it in the middle of a higher 90s heat wave. Even though we didn't get what we had before, we're still grateful that we weren't having to be figuratively baked.

    I get Allstate when I order any type of electronics off Walmart. It's very convenient and reliable for when electronics breaks. I can either get my money back or a replacement for the item. A week ago, I submitted a claim for the Hisense TV that didn't wanna turn on anymore. I went to the Walmart site, went to my past orders, clicked my protection plan and it directed me to the Allstate website. It was simple. However, I don't think anyone has gotten back to me yet.     I did a claim for the remote control for a Playstation that was giving me some trouble. The process was easy. Allstate took it in, repaired it and sent it back to me. Since I shipped it out mid week, it took a little bit longer because of the weekend. In total, it was four days which wasn't that much. But it's still having the same issues though it's not as bad. I will contact Allstate to see if there's anything else we could do.

    The gaming console controller was lagging. If we were using it to go to one direction, it would go the opposite. I did a claim online and it gave us basic details. But there was lack of information from my side. I had to go in and register stuff. It took two days for me. But if I had done what I did from day one, I probably didn't have to go through all that.     I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for a tablet for my kid. I like getting the protection because it saves me from spending $80 every single time. If it's okay, I get 80 back. I gotta pay $15 for it, but towards the next protection plan. But at least I'm not spending $90 in total. I went to where I bought the tab to do a claim, and then it said you can go to Protection, and then it said, “File a claim.” I used the app, and then it took me to the internet browser, and then it walked me through the steps on making my account. It was a step by step on how to file the claim. So, it was really helpful. I didn't feel lost.

    They were trying to find a tablet that was similar to the one that my kid had gotten around the same price. But things inflate and things go up so they were like, “Oh, well, unfortunately, we cannot find the same exact tablet. But here is the money for the tablet.” They gave it to me as a gift card, and it popped into my email. I was able to use the redemption code and put it in my Walmart app. Then I was able to purchase one that was same brand but the same kids mode type of tablet. Overall, Allstate is very user-friendly and they got really good response time. They didn't have me waiting weeks until I finally heard back from them. It was consistent.     When I bought the TV from Costco, they had that option to add Allstate Protection. A few weeks back when I was watching, I noticed there were a few lines on the TV. I followed the basic steps like disconnecting and connecting everything but that did not go away. I then went ahead and tried to submit a claim with Allstate. I was told that the issue is covered by the manufacturer so I reached out to Samsung. Someone came and followed the similar steps that I did. They concluded that it was an issue with the panel and they replaced it. Everything has been fine since that day.

    I bought the warranty on the eBay app for my Ridstar Q20 Pro Ebike and when I made a claim, Allstate was saying that I'm still under the manufacturer warranty. Since I don't know the manufacturer's details, I didn't know who else to reach out to. I didn't get any reply for the manufacturer details. I even reached out to the seller. When I received the item, the axle had protruded or punctured a hole through the box. I told them that I wasn't sure if it was damaged or not but they told me to send pictures and I did. So, it was fine. But I asked if I can contact them again if there's any issue later on and they said yes. So, I tried doing that but they ceased any type of communication. But even though Allstate told me I have to go through the manufacturer, if I pass that one year, I still have the two-year warranty with Allstate. So, there's that backup plan.
