Repair was timely and professionally handled. I was pleasantly surprised. The screen would not close and I was sure it could not be repaired. They paid for the shipping and returned my laptop within one week. It was seamless. I bought the insurance when I bought the laptop from Costco. I would buy it again.

I would recommend Allstate. I recently used them and the claim was resolved quickly. It was smooth sailing. The item that got messed up was a hoverboard. It was in stock and they asked me if I wanted to replace it with another hoverboard. But my girls outgrew it already so instead of Allstate replacing it with something else that wasn't to my liking, they mailed me a check for the item within a week. The transaction was likable. I didn't even send pictures.

My experience was ok. I thought since I purchased a product on Walmart it have the Allstate plan. It wasn't clear what it protected. So when something happened it was covered. If I known I would had got a better plan. I don't mind paying extra. It pushed me back a little. I think it should have 2 or 3 different protection plans that you can choose from at checkout.

The process was fast to get me a replacement. But the process to make the claim was a long time. It was hard to get in touch with someone. The website was difficult to use. When I got the replacement it didn't work. You can't press around the a button when using the keypad. You can't press application on the edge and camera wasn't working. I tried to make another claim. Allstate website said I could not. Screen crack had a crack. I believed it came like this.

When I bought a hover from Walmart, I thought that Allstate covered everything. When one of my buddies rode it and ripped it, I thought I could use Allstate and replace it but they said that wasn't possible. They only covered the motor and things of that nature. They tried but it was out of their hands.

Allstate is worth having. Electronics tend to go bad so I got Allstate to extend the warranty on them. I've had to put in two claims against the same device instead of having to purchase it again, and Allstate did not have a deductible. However, they no longer accept phone calls. Everything is done through the web which makes it a little challenging. The website is not that friendly.

Allstate is very reliable and helpful. I have toddlers and they're always breaking something. When I bought an iPad, it came with the protection plan. That was awesome.

I got a Yale Nest Lock and I called Allstate about a month ago about having a problem with the Nest Connect. I tried to get them to replace the Nest Connect that plugs into the wall, but they wouldn't replace that, just the lock. I said, "Hey, the lock is good. I don't need a new lock. I need a new device, the little thing that connects to the lock." I also said, "I'm not gonna send in a whole nother lock. Because then I don't have a lock on my door. It doesn't make sense."
Allstate sent me an electronic gift card to use at Sam's Club for the entire price of the lock that I paid for. All in all, the whole process was good. It was frustrating at first, but they gave me all my money back. I still got to keep my lock, and I got to replace the part I needed. I ended up buying the Nest Connect and hooking that up with the lock. It works fine now.

I had to get a new TV. It was still under warranty. I spoke with Allstate and the reps were very good. They sent me pictures of a replacement. I got to choose which one I wanted, and it was delivered here to the house. I was very satisfied. Having an extended warranty worked out for me this time. The only thing is I couldn't get the extended warranty on the new TV since it's a replacement. They wouldn't cover it again.

My air mattress stopped going up. It wasn't inflating. First, I went online with the email that Allstate sent out. Then it sent me over to try the manufacturers first. I reported to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer never said anything back. So, I went back to Allstate and let them know the manufacturer didn't say anything. Allstate's reps were awesome. They were very polite and listened very well. They made sure they handled the business. They refunded me with the E-gift card to Walmart. They used Walmart to purchase another one. If you want warranty coverage, Allstate is the best.

The Allstate policy was offered at Walmart when I purchased the television. I would highly recommend it and I'll always buy the Allstate Protection Plan with every electronics I get now. I filed a claim with them and it was super easy. I got someone on the phone very quickly and they were very helpful. They replaced the television by shipping me another one. It's a lot easier to get a replacement shipped to you and not have to worry about having to pick another one up yourself. It was very convenient.

Allstate was really polite, and they were really nice to me. They sent me my money right away. At the beginning, they didn't wanna deal with my claim. They didn't believe me. So I had to go to Better Business Bureau to tell them what was going on. After that, they fixed the problem right away. So I'm really happy with them. I'm planning again to get another TV and I also wanna get the insurance for it with Allstate.

We were kept in the loop regarding the service. The service was delayed but we were kept informed. The service tech let us know when he was on his way. He arrived in the timeframe. The tech was friendly and competent. He repaired the problem and it is now working great!

I purchased warranties under different appliances when I bought them. I'd rather have the warranty for the extended period of time. It’s worth whatever the value of the item is. We recently had to use it for our KitchenAid refrigerator, and it paid off huge. Our refrigerator was about two years old, and the freezer part started frosting over and it was making a very loud noise. We contacted Allstate and they set up the appointment. The guy came out and thought he fixed what it was, then the whole thing shut down. They came back out and replaced another component (the computer board), and everything works great now. Allstate also told us that if it was something that was internal where it was cost prohibitive to fix, they said they'd make it right, but we never got there. Our refrigerator works like new again.

Wow! Such quick easy service! Have an appliance warranty with Allstate and our $2k DW went out. Called Allstate and we are in a remote area, so “pick a repair service” and we did. Service call on Monday, sent in repair receipt… response back from Allstate... “approved”, expect check within 3-5 days!!

I completed claims for three separate items that I had insured through Allstate. There were failures of the product, different in each case. The claims were approved but I have never received a refund. I will go back and try to find the CLAIM ID but do not have it as I am filling this out.

We purchased the protection at Home Depot when we purchased our KitchenAid dishwasher. Two years later our dishwasher stopped working. There was a beeping noise and it wouldn't fill with water. They sent parts and scheduled a technician. They ended up sending the wrong parts and while the tech was here she found additional problems and said that she was going to recommend that the whole thing be replaced. The seams are leaking. They won't cover anything and won't give me an explanation why. My original claim is 100% an electrical or mechanical problem. When you call them they repeat the same lines over and over. To make matters worse the company who they hired to do the work damaged our home denting 3 cabinets which they also will not fix.

Purchased Allstate/SquareTrade (AS/ST) plan for a Best Choice Products Zero-G chair, both through Target. The chair ripped at the seams where the grommets attach. The metal frame came apart at a joint, the metal bolt separated from said metal joint and the chair collapsed and is unusable. AS/ST initially said my item would not be covered because it was under warranty. It wasn't. Target had to send an email explaining as such because AS/ST refused the explanation.
After Target contacted them, they allowed me to file a claim. AS/ST contract states they cover furniture items with STANDARD use - seam separation, broken hardware, separation of joints and welds, structural defects to frames, seat or back construction, broken hinges, damaged mechanical elements - yet THEY DON'T. Sent pics and videos to support claim and told it is a NOT COVERED at every phone call.
Difficult to understand what is being said. They refuse to explain the reasoning why and tell you, point blank, they cannot stay on the phone to talk as though they are limited to a two-minute call per caller - each and every time. They even hang up on you past whatever magical time they are given! Took my $15 to cover NOTHING!!!! The protection plan is as useless as customer service because neither exists.

Re: E-Bike Protection Plan. I would see if there are any local repair shops before purchasing. Since there were none in my area, after many emails, they reimbursed me for the cost of my bike.

I purchased an E-Ride bike from Walmart, in addition I purchased the Allstate Protection Plan. After performing the suggested adjustments by their Customer Service, we filed a claim with Allstate and it was approved (#0077564843). Unfortunately, they did not have a repair shop in our area. They recommended having the repair done at a local shop and submitting the bill. After several calls, NO ONE works on these bikes! I contacted customer support several times asking for a repair location and have NOT heard back from them since.

We had a repair person come to look at our refrigerator we had bought. He had to order parts. Two weeks later we are told they will give us the money for a new refrigerator. They sent us an email saying a gift card would be sent to us in 2 days by email. We told them the email we gave them was discontinued and we received emails from the one we use now. You can talk to representatives and I have talked to at least 3 and it still does not get resolved. In Square Trade website there is no number to talk to customer service if you need escalation. You have to go through a queue and wait.... And wait.... And wait. We are still waiting. This has been a nightmare.
We have remodeled three homes with Home Depot and will complain to them. Forget trying to get ahold of anyone except offshore people who repeat the same things over and over. And to think we were thinking of changing our Home Insurance to this company??!! So if you like chatbots and people who are unable to escalate your claim when there is a problem. Do not buy!!! Can't get in touch with anyone at Allstate or Square Trade that can assist. Keep sending you through the same procedure with no results. Will try complaining to Home Depot next.

I placed a claim on a Recliner I had purchased 3 years ago because it broke. Allstate quickly and efficiently processed my claim and placed the check in the mail. You need to print larger print concerning what you do cover and what you do not cover; i.e. defective parts versus failed parts!!! I have been trying to reset my password for months now and I cannot! Every time I try it says check my e-mail for the link, but there is no e-mail! Are you having issue with your servers too!!!

I wanted to leave a very positive 5-star review for the Square Trade/Allstate staff (two of them, the first gentleman, my apologies I forgot to write down his name, when I called in to start my broken washer appliance extended warranty claim, and the second gentleman, name Leon, who I called a week afterwards to assist me further, due to the washer still not working after the dispatched technician had came to fix it); both Square Trade/Allstate staff have been super professional, patient, cordial, courteous, prompt, highly experienced, very concise in communications, affable, easy to understand and talk to, and provided the most exceptional customer service!
Even though, unaware I was suppose to have done everything through the Square Trade/Allstate website, to make the claim process quicker and smoother, including registering my purchased Costco appliance, keeping a copy of my receipt on file with the site, as well as initiate a claim from the website itself, instead both customer service reps were so very patient and helpful and courteous did everything professionally and walked me through to process everything all over the phone and via e-mail.
Thank you so much for that! I do know next time now to do it all at the website to make it smoother and easier. I will be buying extended warranties from Square Trade/Allstate in the near future for any upcoming major appliances purchases, as Square Trade/Allstate has been a most wonderful experience, and would highly recommend to friends, families, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone who appreciates great value, great service, and a great company.

My Samsung tv had thick black lines running down the screen. I called my Allstate protection plan and they immediately took care of it by sending a Samsung repairman. The repairman did an excellent job fixing the TV. It's perfect now. I'm very pleased with the Allstate Protection Plan. They were very helpful in getting my problem solved and very promptly.

My dehumidifier failed in the warranty period. I contacted Allstate and the process started immediately. They sent me some options of some units that were in stock but not compatible to what I originally purchase. Could not find a replacement that was comparable to the unit I purchased so I was reimbursed the amount of original purchase price. Payment came in the time that they said it would come. The claim was handled in a timely manner. Overall good experience!

It was difficult to contact someone at first but once I finally sent the information they asked me to send everything was taken care of. I had to call them at least once a day to see if they received my pictures I sent them of the problem. They finally agreed to send me another television in place of the one That needs repair.

My great grandson’s scooter stopped working and I had extended warranty on it. I contacted Allstate and they were so very nice and sent him a brand new scooter within a few days. I was very pleased. Everyone I talked to was extremely nice and helpful. I will get warranty on my purchases that need it from Allstate. Very pleased.

I had good service on my warranty. However I expected the same brand of tv and all its bells and whistles. I wasn't given the choice of my Hisense Tv. When I finally got to speak to a live person he was very kind and walked me thru the steps to test the tv that had the problems.

Email was sent to me dated september the 5th Stating that a check had been mailed out for reimbursement of $118.33 For a night stand that they no longer had in stock. So they issued a check for. I've been in contact with Squaretrade trying to get this issue resolved and they have yet to re Issue the check or locate the check that they claimed was mailed. I purchase this warranty with the tip of never having to use it but I did and when I did so the item was no longer in stock and a reimbursement check that's supposed to be issued that I never received now. No one's telling me anything of where the check may be.

The claim process was smooth and there was a scheduling mixup where the parts ordered arrived on the same day where the technician was supposed to come. Had to call up and reschedule the appointment and it was done quickly. Claim process was quick. I had to send proof and video and then it was approved quickly.

Started the claim online and then called in. They asked for proof and sent in video and pics and repair was approved. This was all done very quickly then started the nightmare!! They shipped parts and then kept the repair appointment the same day.. Guess what? Parts arrived later and the repair person said we will have to reschedule. Now called in and they asked me to contact repair person to reschedule instead of them trying to fix it. Repair person called me back and said he will reschedule and then no call back. And I am stuck now.

My TV was not delivered on the day it was suppose to. I call All-State the next day and told them my tv did not come... they informed me to contact them on Monday so I did. Then Monday I was told it would arrive on that day or Tuesday. Well nothing Tuesday so I just called again at 5:30pm and was told Best Buy would contact me about my TV and when it will be delivered. The communication with this company really sucks because why I'm I calling you, shouldn't you be contacting me by email like you did when you ordered the TV from Best Buy. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They can't give you a straight answer.

Everything was wonderful. Very fast with getting my replacement. Which was a deep fryer. No hassle at all. They did it in a timely manner. I’m very satisfied with my replacement and customer service was outstanding. I love my replacement better than the one I had at first. I will definitely be ordering again. I used my fryer yesterday for the first time. It worked perfectly. Just love it.

Problem reported on a Saturday. Call back wasn't until Monday, a day late. New TV delivery promised for 9-11. No delivery made. Stayed home all day waiting for it. No contact from anyone about delivery cancelled. Next time we would be available to receive the new TV is Tuesday, 9-17. Six days late from original delivery promise. Plus no Samsung TV's available. Had to go with a brand we know nothing about: Hisense.

Purchased a warranty on a Series X console and the only options I was given for a faulty console was to send it to a repair shop which would mean I don't have a console or access to entertainment while it's gone. Presumably a month or more. Furthermore they don't guarantee that your information stored on the hard drive will be recovered. Refused to offer a replacement or reimbursement check because the item is "too expensive".. so the more money you spend, the less likely they are to help you out. These warranties are a fraud, and this company refuses to compromise to ensure the customer is satisfied. Don't waste your money.

We bought a Samsung TV at Costco in 2021 and a 5 year Allstate Protection Plan. In September of 2024 while watching the TV it turned off and a couple of sparks fell from the bottom. It had been plugged in to a surge suppressor although no power surges occurred that day. The protection plan states that "Extended Coverage provides for parts and labor costs to repair or replace your product when it experiences a breakdown due to a mechanical or electrical failure during normal usage during the Coverage Term." We filed claim # ** online and received an email to call them to complete the claim. We called and were told the claim was denied!!! Do not buy protection from them. They will not follow the agreements they wrote. Joanne **

Idk why I keep buying these protection plans. I usually don't need them, but when I do, the claims get rejected. Every. Single. Time. It's fraud and theft at this point. I will never buy another protection plan ever again. The money I spend on protection plans I can save to just buy a new item.

Allstate Protection Plans is an easy to work with program. The craft ice maker froze over and did not produce any ice cubes. The representative was very helpful. He made the process quick. And the explanation was clear on what I needed to do. Contact-wise, it was very easy. I had to shut down the fridge for 24 hours, thaw it out completely and start over again to see if that would fix the issue. Once that didn't work, I waited a week to make sure that it wasn't working correctly or how things were going. And it started to have the same issue. So, I wouldn't consider that long. And it was very easy. The company that was contacted to come out to repair the fridge came out quickly.

I needed headphones. Allstate Protection Plans sent me an email that the item was not available on the replacement. The replacement that they sent me was coverage for the headphones so it was not good. The experience went down from that point on. After that, they agreed to refund me with a card that I could only use online. That wasn't cool. They said in the contract that the refund does not include sales tax. Somebody kept the state taxes on the purchase. Being an insurance agent, I know every contract is different, but Allstate did me a disservice.
When I went back on eBay to try to replace the headphones, I couldn't do it for the same amount of money because I gotta pay taxes. It was just a dollar. But it wouldn't allow that because anywhere I went would only take one form of payment. Allstate is forcing me to buy less. I'm not being indemnified. I'm not able to replace the item that I purchased. There's not enough money and I've never seen a claim service this bad.

When my grandson's tablet was cracked seriously, I submitted a claim in, and Allstate returned it fixed. But I had trouble getting the tablet fixed. When I bought the tablet for my grandson, I also bought one for my granddaughter. I uploaded a receipt for her tablet to have her tablet repaired. Both of them was on the same receipt. But when it came time for me to have my grandson's tablet repaired, they would not go any further until I upload a receipt. I could not use the same receipt that I had uploaded for my granddaughter's tablet. I had to go back to Walmart but Walmart couldn't find it. It was very difficult and stressful getting the receipt. I understand they want to know how much they would pay for it, but it was on the same receipt I uploaded for the first tablet that they have in the system. It took over two weeks before I could get a receipt, upload it and get his tablet fixed. That was not a pleasant experience.
I also don't like that the plan doesn't extend two years beyond the year that you got it so you're losing a year with the plan. I bought a Gateway laptop. I sent it in in the second year of the plan. On the second year of me having the laptop, my plan was no longer available. You don't get one year with the manufacturer. You only get the two years with the extended warranty. But I chose to get the warranty for my grandson's tablet because he's a young boy, and he uses his tablet every day. Something more than just the regular warranty would need to be on the tablet for him.

I got Allstate on the Otterbox power bank. The plan was only $5, and I figured it'd be a good plan to have. I used it when the power bank stopped working correctly. It stopped taking a full charge and would only take one charge instead of multiples, but when I first started using it, it would give me multiple charges. The claims process was difficult. When I went to a place to go file it, at first, they kept telling me that they needed a copy of the receipt. I went to my Target app ‘cause that was where I purchased it. I screenshot the receipt and forwarded it. They kept telling me that they couldn't see it. I had to try to download it.
I paid about $54 for the port. They were offering me a port that was below $10 on Amazon that they said they replaced it with. That was unacceptable because I purchased the protection plan. I should get full compensation for the item. It took me four days of trying to speak with upper management. Eventually, when I got to the supervisor, he was able to send me a check for a replacement of the item. It was $49.49 because there was no tax. It's very valuable having the plan if you're able to do what I did and go through the red tape to get what they offer.

I recently used SquareTrade for a Samsung TV I purchased from Costco. It started messing up a ton, so we sent pictures and videos to SquareTrade. They had a technician come and he said the panel was shot. He said that they got to send me a new one. It was a great experience in terms of speed and I was surprised that SquareTrade would just replace it. That was an amazing service. Costco offered the SquareTrade warranty included in the purchase of the TV and at the time, it was $100, but they would give back a rebate of $100. That was the only reason why I did it, but after this experience, I'm considering doing it also for some of my other electronics just in case. The process was so seamless. I also recommended SquareTrade to a friend who was considering purchasing a TV at Costco and someplace else. And because Costco included the coverage, they decided to purchase their TV at Costco.

We have an HP touchscreen laptop, and my daughter had it in the laptop portion of her backpack, but because she had too many school books in there, the part of the screen that's responsible for picking up touches stopped working properly. It was registering someone touching the screen in a certain spot constantly. I tried to submit a claim online, but the whole method of doing it on the web wouldn't work. It was saying that it couldn't find the plan. So I had to call Allstate in order to get it going, and then they said that they added the plan on, that it existed, and then it started the claim on it. It was easy to get it going, but I would have preferred it working on the web when I first tried to do it. However, calling them was only a minor inconvenience, and they were able to get it going quickly. The whole process of sending the laptop in and getting it back was within a few days. It was quick.

Sent my kid's PlayStation 5 in for repairs. Due to it shutting off randomly and no display. I received an email several days later that the unit was full of insects. And no repair will be done and the warranty was now voided. I used my Home Plus plan I have through my cell provider and took it to a local Asurion location. In two days they told me what was wrong being dust and a bad HDMI port and it will be repaired in a few days. I asked if there was any insects inside of it. They said, "no insects were found at all". I knew Squaretrade was lying to me and I'm glad I had another option to get it fixed and find out the truth. I will never ever, ever, ever purchase another Squaretrade warranty again.

Square trade protection is not worth the price. Filed a claim starting the on June 3rd and was approved June 7th. That’s great. Very happy with that. Received an email on June 5th saying that my “parts” were ordered for my couch that day. It has been 14 weeks now and I have not received any updates, no tracking, nothing and called them to find out what was going on. They have no information on it and will get back to me once they do. After the “parts” get here I then have to wait another undetermined amount of time for a technician to come and install said parts. In the meantime this is preventing me from filing another claim for a different piece of furniture. I’m worried that the protection will expire prior to being able to file that claim. Then while the reps are sympathetic they are unhelpful and the only information I will receive will be via email.

I had a good experience with Allstate. They were quick and reliable. My daughter's Beats headphones were accidentally stepped on, and the head piece needed to be fixed. It was simple to submit the claim online, and the head piece is now fixed. Having an extended warranty is very important, especially when people have teenagers.

Allstate was fantastic. My Fitbit watch broke, so I filed a claim and it was simple. I was also totally surprised how fast it was taken care of and fixed. I had one problem and sent the watch in. It got back, and it didn't last a week then it broke again. I sent it back and they just gave me a new watch. I'm very happy with the system. The price of the extended warranty is very competitive, and having one is very valuable, unless people wanna spend an extra $150 on something they don't need to.

All the buttons on my Fitbit stopped working. So, any time I wanted to check my watch, I had to raise my arm up to check it. But eventually, it got to the point where it didn't even come on when I raised my arm and the screen was totally nonresponsive. I made a claim with Allstate and it was pretty easy. I just filled out the information online and submitted it. Then they told me it was covered and sent me a new watch. This protection plan works.

When my TV stopped working, I did part of the claim process online, and then there was a phone call made after I did it online. Allstate said, "Call the 800 number," and I spoke to somebody. The reps were super friendly. My TV was not repairable from the troubleshooting that we did, so they offered to replace it with something of equal value. However, the model they kept trying to replace my TV with wasn't an equal or greater value than what I had before, and the TVs did not have some of the software like in the TV that I had. For example, my TV had the Comcast built-in app, and the TVs that they were trying to replace with did not.
I kept going back and forth with Allstate, saying, “This TV, quality-wise, it looks like all the elements are there, but it still doesn't support Xfinity.” It took a bit of saying no to Allstate multiple times, and after three attempts trying to find the right TV, they ended up giving me a check back and I purchased a new TV from Costco again. Working through Allstate was no problem at all.

My EcoFlow solar generator, model Delta 2 Max asked too much power from the generator. It asked more of it than what I told it to. I had to call customer service. That part is hard. When I tried to do it through eBay's help menu, that was not good. I have to call a human. And I gotta do that horrific process no matter who the company is or just trying to get to a human. But once I got to a human, it was okay. The process happened how it was supposed to.

It ended up being I had a faulty generator. The symptoms seemed as though the machine would do what it wanted to do instead of what I asked it to do. But that wasn't the case. I purchased a lot of protection plans. The most recent one that I got a refund for was the refrigerator. The ice maker in the bottom quit working twice. They came out in May, and they came out in August and said it was unrepairable. The issue of the refund was very quick. It took less than a week. The Allstate reps were super polite, but it was very apparent they were reading from a script, and English was their second language, so it was hard to communicate with them. Sometimes they weren't getting what I was saying and I couldn't ask a question that was out of the ordinary because they would not have an answer for you. But everything else was fine. It was also fine to work with their website. The techs they hired, the local people were good to work with.

I filed a claim to get the replacements but Allstate was saying they needed the box and the numbers. I told them I didn't have the box but I sent the documentation from eBay, where I bought them, three times. I was trying to figure out which one was which and which pair was which. Every one of the reps was so polite and nice about it but they kept telling me to send stuff in. They were like a referee playing by the rules and I understand that. After the third time, I was done doing it and I asked them if I could at least get a refund on the warranty. I didn't like not getting anything out of it.

I've had good and bad experiences with protection plans. I typically don't buy them but for the cellphone, it wasn't that much money to get the Allstate plan. They offered us a substitute merchandise but I didn't feel it was equal to what we had. I gave them a call and they gave me all the money back.

My son breaks his glasses often, so any time I purchase a new pair, I purchase a plan. When I filed a claim with Allstate, it went well. Initially, when you're doing anything online where you have to follow directions and upload this and that, it seems to be a little bit more worse than making a phone call. But since I've had to do it more than once, it's not been a hard process. Allstate sent a check for the amount of whatever I paid for the glasses. It's a good investment and there's no hassle with the refund process.

How in the world do you sell a plan that is bogus. I bought my son the Swagtron skateboard. It's had trouble charging since the start! He tried to charge it and try it again after a while. Pushed off and that thing snapped in half! Not covered even though it was properly used and he was under the weight limit. Owned less than a year.

So I have paid monthly on my dad's phone for years and when I file a claim I am met with they send out used replacements. Seriously, he has a flip phone which is $50 or $60 new at Target. I will definitely be cancelling the insurance at this point.

Made me jump through hoops to get a replacement TV. Although there was a documented, known issue with my LG set, Allstate made me submit no less than 6 photo and video files showing the problem and the requirements they demanded became more difficult to provide each time. They hope to make the consumer walk away in frustration. Then, when I finally satisfied all of their rigorous requirements, they only offered me one model of replacement TV which retailed for less than 1/2 of what I paid for my set 2 years and 6 months ago (I bought a 65" LG for $1,000 at Costco and they replaced it with a $400 Hisense set). I will never again purchase an Allstate policy.

Plan Number: **. Purchased LG 75 in TV from Walmart $768 on 8/17/2022. Purchased protection plan $99. I have had nothing but trouble trying to get TV fixed. Filed a warranty for not being able to get internet on TV. Went back and forth with Allstate. They said it was a LG issue And LG said that it is covered under Allstate extended warranty. Had the Sprout Internet come out to verify that it is the network card in TV. Called warranty again. This time they approved it to be fixed. But told me that I would have to call a TV repair man & they would reimburse. I could not find one at all (Even thru LG)!! Called warranty again. This time he was going to see if there was a repair company thru Allstate. If not that he already talked to his supervisor about just sending a new TV.
I agreed to try to get it fixed. BUT I informed him that I was disabled and that I could not take down the TV and that they needed two men for the job. He said no worries, he would definitely make a note on the ticket. But to make sure and let them know when they call to schedule service. He also said they would call to verify what parts was needed. No one called! So I called the contact number that he had sent me. I left my name and number twice but no call. Then I receive email that parts are being shipped, ok. I called again, had to leave name and # again. Received parts a couple days later but still no call. So called and left message again.
Two days later a guy shows up unannounced by himself. No helper and no note on ticket. He said he could not do the TV but he went on a sales pitch for his pressure washing business, wanted to show me pictures of trailers he had & built for washing I guess. He even gave me a price of $1,000.00 to wash my house & gave me a card. He said they would reschedule with helper. Still have not heard anything!! Called warranty back. Talked to supervisor & now they say. that the network card is not covered. What changed? LG says it is covered under extended warranty. Any help appreciated.

The process was fast and easier than I expected. We were very satisfied with speed of claim acceptance and payment. I could recommend this coverage especially for a careless teen. The shipping process was also very easy. This was the first time I have actually filed a claim on any of the devices that have qualified to be covered.

Very satisfied with the service and repair of my son’s iPad. Once I finally got it shipped, the turnaround time was exactly as promised. I always purchase the Allstate plans with my Walmart products and continue to be satisfied with every repair. I called and spoke with a representative at Walmart who helped me to get in touch with Allstate through their online claims site. I purchased the Allstate accident plan with a laptop that I bought for my teen son and I'm so glad I did. About a year into his usage of the laptop there was a physical mishap that resulted in physical damage to the frame, keyboard and screen. Filing the claim online was hassle-free and the repair itself only took a couple of days! Additionally, I was kept informed on the status of the repair via email, including the return tracking information. This is fantastic customer service.

My experience with Allstate Protection insurance was very favorable. They made it easy and quick to have them repaired. I sent the headphones off on Monday and they were back to me on Friday. I would recommend them when you make a sizable investment in electronics or any item they insure. The online directions were very clear and easy to follow.

Got new phone with insurance..if it wasn't covered with the insurance I would have spent out of pocket again. With the insurance they sent me a check to cover new phone any other time I would not have gotten the insurance..but my wife insisted I get it working on the lake.

I was having trouble with my HDD/SSD dock, but I didn't know it until I tested it and got the same problems with different drives. I decided that it's time to upgrade with Allstate's help. My claim was approved the same day. The prorated amount was more than I expected. I was given the choice of paper check mailed to me or or prepaid card. I would use Allstate again to protect sensitive electronics investments.

I purchased a two year warranty on a large ice maker, it stop working. When I notified Allstate Protection Plan of the issue. They notified me that they were going to send me one of three different Ice maker as replacements. Because my original Ice maker was out of stock at Walmart. They sent me the Ice maker of their choice, it was more than half the size smaller than my original Ice maker. I checked Walmart website, my original Ice maker was in stock. I'm very disappointed, buyer beware.

I followed all the procedures when returning my vacuum cleaner, they took it apart after they received it and denied my claim because in their own words, they found insects. This was their only excuse for denying my claim. Everything I did was followed directly and Accurately. I am sending you a copy of the returned email that informed me of this ridiculous excuse. They also said no photos of the u ace Ts could be sent.

My daughter had left a cup of water on the table that the cats spilled and the water soaked her Nintendo Switch. We filed the claim on the 18th and already received her repaired switch by the 28th. I was worried because my last warranty plan for the switch actually did more damage to my daughter's switch and we had to buy a whole new one, but this company did amazing. Her switch is working they even replaced the joysticks on her controllers which I didn't know needed replaced in the first place. They went above and beyond and her switch screen was in the same condition I left it. Only downside was they removed her tempered glass screen protector (I assume she had cracked it and they were making sure it wasn't the screen) so I do need to get a new screen protector but best warranty plan we have had so far! Will definitely buy from Walmart so I can have the same warranty if I get another item.

I did not want a gift card to Walmart. I wasn’t asked if I wanted Walmart credit or not. The chairs broke from Walmart, along with a few other household items I’ve purchased in the past. As a result of my experiences shopping at Walmart, I don’t trust them for furniture anymore. It’s all cheap and I was automatically given a gift card that would require me to shop at Walmart again. This is crazy redundancy happening right now.

When my TV went out unexpectedly, I thought I was out of luck after trying every troubleshooting trick in the book. I was pretty bummed, but then I remembered I had an Allstate protection plan! Relief washed over me as I filed my claim, sent in the necessary details, and just like that—bam! A new TV was on the way. Huge thanks for making this process so quick and easy. Allstate's service was annoying because it felt like I had to do more of the work than they did. I got the warranty on a couch. I have it on a few things because I bought a bunch of furniture and I put protection plans on them. The motor went out on one of the electric chairs, so it wouldn't extend up. I called Allstate to file a claim. They told me to do it online. So, I created the account, and creating an account wasn't bad. That was easy. I just had to download the app, log in, and register. Once I did all that, my plan auto-populated in the system. They showed them up there. But when I went to select it, since I just bought it, they thought that I had a manufacturer's warranty. So, they wanted me to call the manufacturer and get it repaired. I was like, “But they told me that the coverage starts day one.” I don't understand. They were like, “Well, furniture comes with the warranty.”
So, I called the manufacturer and they were like, “No. This is a clearance item. This clearance item doesn't come with the warranty. So, your plan starts off right away.” So, I had to call back. And when I called back, someone had to go up the management level chain and get it to where they made it to where the couch was available for a warranty. I was like, “This is freaking insane.” I spent a long time. And then when something finally happened and the claim was in there, I didn't get a call from anybody for like two weeks. I had to call back myself and be like, “Hey, what's going on?” When I tried to ask for help through the app, the representative was like, “Well, I'm just a general representative. I don't work with furniture. You need to call this number and get something done.”
I was just like, “Why can't you do everything? You said you elevated my claim to a higher priority, but I don't understand why I'm having to do all this work just to get anything done.” Then I got a text message after I complained. It said, “Call this number,” which was the same number. And it said, “Call this number to make an appointment.” Why do I have to call to make the appointment? I'm doing all the work here then. I should be getting paid to file this claim. I felt like I was a customer service representative.
I called the number that I was given and I said, “I don't understand why you guys do this stuff, man. This is so weird.” With every other warranty I've had, you call and they do the work for you. They call you back and say, “Hey, this is a company that's gonna do it. This is their phone number. They should be calling you within 48 hours. If they don't call back, we'll make sure they call you.” That's what I'm used to. Eventually, somebody came out. And then they found out that the motor was broken. What they did was they ordered the motor and the switch. So, they replaced both. Both of them were fixed.
It's just when the guy came out to inspect it, it was just a vendor from somewhere and I don't even know what company. It was just a random person who called me and said, “Hey, you got a claim through SquareTrade. I got told that I need to come look at it. When's a good time to do it? I can do it on this day.” I said, “Okay. Whatever. Cool. Got it.” Then SquareTrade’s time when the technician was coming out was completely different from the actual vendor's time. The vendor's time was at 8:00 p.m. and SquareTrade told me that they were coming between 11:00 and 2:00. So, we didn't go anywhere or do any shopping or anything that day early like we wanted to because there was that.
Once that time passed, I was like, “I don't even know if these guys are even coming.” My wife finally got a phone call saying, “Hey, can I come early?” My wife was like, “What do you mean early? You guys are way late.” He said, “Oh, no. SquareTrade didn't schedule us until like 8:00 p.m. And I'd really like to go home early. I don't wanna be out late. So, is it okay if I come early?” We were like, “Yeah. Yeah. By all means, come out early.” So, we found out that it's a SquareTrade vendor, and SquareTrade just throws the claim out to anybody.
What ended up happening was when the part finally came in, I called. I told them the part was here and I needed it installed. They said, “Okay.” I didn't get a call for an entire week. I was already done because I already knew it was gonna happen before. I called the next Friday and the lady was like, “I promise you this time, you'll get an email by Monday.” I got no emails at all. No update. Nothing. I just got a phone call from a guy who said, “I can come out Thursday.” I said, “All right. Cool.” I hung up the phone and no more than five minutes later, I got another phone call. “Hey, you need your work order done, right?” I said, “Yeah.” He said, “Okay. I can come out Wednesday.” I said, “Well, somebody just called me like five minutes ago and said they're coming out Thursday.” He said, “Well, do you want it done? I can do it Wednesday.” I was like, “Yeah, I guess.”
I found out that they're not even people who work for SquareTrade. It's just vendors. It's just random workers. I was like, “This is absolutely insane.” When they ordered the part, I figured the work order was gonna stay with the person who ordered it and conducted the work. It was not the same people. The part was ordered and sent to my house. Then once the part came to my house, I had to call back and tell them. When the person came out, he was like, “Hey, what's wrong with your couch? Let me see it. That way, I can get you guys some parts or whatever you need or fix it.” I was like, “Dude, the part’s already here. We just need you to install it.” He said, “What? They didn't tell me that. I need to go back out and get my tools.” So, it was a mess. It's completely fixed now, but the whole process of trying to get it fixed was absolutely annoying. They replaced it 100% for free so while the process is annoying, I can't do anything.

Allstate offers a great protection plan for eyeglasses. At first, I was hesitant to sign up for eyewear insurance. Yet, after I accidentally scratched my lenses, boy am I glad I did! It was very easy to file a claim. Allstate was very responsive and provided me with a quick settlement. Given my experience, I highly recommend this coverage.

My 50-inch Samsung TV was just over two years old when in just one day, the screen suddenly failed and the picture stopped completely. I notified Allstate under my extended service plan, that I had purchased with the TV when it was new, and after just a few communications, including proof of purchase, claim documentation and a few photos and video, they offered me a new television from a number of choices, albeit a different brand. I am very happy with the selections of replacements offered and accepted a much larger TV from a reputable new off-brand. I usually do not purchase extended service plans, but in this instance, I am glad I did. I will likely buy an extended service plan through Allstate the next time I need a new TV. The new TV was delivered within a few days and the entire claim process was as easy and pain-free as can be. Everybody at Allstate was polite, cordial and helpful.

What a ridiculous waste of money! Paid $269.99 for the warranty (which the representative made me look up). Then, when I try to use it for the first time, the representative tells me that I must disconnect the refrigerator, leave it open, and defrost for 24 hours. So, the solution is for me to resolve the problem, and destroy thousands of dollars worth of food AND medication, or transfer the entire contents to another refrigerator?! Had I not purchased the plan, I could have used the amount to hire somebody competent and be done with this by now! I would advise not to waste your money on this scam! If this is the way that Allstate treats their customers, I should get to work finding a different insurer for my home and vehicle. Disgusting!

I was pleasantly surprised that they were so proactive and so prompt. I consider the issue closed to my satisfaction. I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. I would have given 5 stars if the refund was an option in the original replacement selection list.

My dehumidifier failed. Original specs: Frigidaire 50 pints per day, power draw 7.8 amps. Allstate/Squaretrade decided to replace it. They offered only 2 choices: 1) A replacement bucket for a dehumidifier??? or 2) A "50 pint" Wellsle dehumidifier. Why would they even offer a replacement water catch bucket to replace a broken dehumidifier? Makes absolutely no sense. I selected the Wellsle. I received it promply. It is a mini-dehumidifier. It is so much smaller physically than my original unit. Power draw on the Wellsle is only 3.2 amps. The "50 pint" number can only be reached in 95 degF, 90% humidity. The placard also shows the standard industry capacity is 15.1 pints per day at 65 degF and 60% humidity. Very dissatisfied with SquareTrade's limited choice - giving me a Chevy to replace my Cadillac. I expected a Frigidaire to replace my Frigidaire dehumidifier.
They know they are about to cheat you. Here is the text at the bottom of the replacement selection page:- Once you confirm this order, we cannot change it.
- After you receive your replacement, your claim will be complete.
When you are making your choice, you don't know they are going to send you a mini-dehumidifier to replace your failed full-sized dehumidifier. Once you receive it, you have no recourse other than to leave a bad review.

WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! We purchased a Samsung smart TV from Costco in October 2019, and purchased the 3yr extended Square Trade warranty at the same time, for a total of 5 yrs. Last Saturday our TV screen started to fade and go dark on one side, and bright white light was shining up from the bottom of the screen. We tried adjusting the brightness, screen res, etc. Nothing helped. I went online and filed a claim on Sunday at 11am PT. I uploaded photos of the required receipts and proof of Allstate paperwork, which was confirmed back via email at 11:14am PT. The email said we would hear back within one business day with next steps. Between Saturday and Tuesday I spoke to four different customer service reps, each of whom transferred me to someone else who they assured me would "resolve the claim." NOT ONE OF THEM DID.
I received NOTHING on Monday, nor Tuesday morning. I finally called Customer Service Tuesday afternoon and inquired about the status of the claim. I was told I should have got an email requesting photos of the TV. I explained that I had not, and was still waiting. The rep checked the "system" and saw that indeed, no email had been sent to me, so he initiated it. I asked if he would stay on the phone to make sure he got the photos and he told me he couldn't because the email goes to a different dept, and they would be in contact with me after reviewing the photos.
FINALLY, on Aug 22, FOUR DAYS after I initiated the claim, I got an email telling me the claim was approved and to pick my new (replacement) TV from the three choices below. NONE of them are the same brand we have, and only one was rated slightly better than the comparable model to what we have. Even though your policy specifically states "Your replacement TV will be as good or better than your original." To make matters worse, now we have to wait ANOTHER 7-10 DAYS to get the new TV?!?? We could have gone out, bought a replacement, and had it hooked up and working by now, and all SquareTrade would have needed to do was send us a check after we provided proof of purchase.
Instead we've got NO TV, we're not getting not the same brand, and we have to wait another 7-10 days for it to be delivered from who knows where. Is this what you do with your cellphone customers?? Make them go without a phone for 10-14 days while your stupid automated system chugs through unnecessary repeat requests for info that could have all been obtained with the initial claim? Why on earth don't you collect ALL THE PHOTOS with the first claim submission?!?! Why force the customer to jump through so many hoops and wait "one business day" for EVERY step???! Are you hoping we'll just give up?
We had better, faster service and MUCH less hassle with a lost luggage claim in Europe. I filed the claim, uploaded the receipts, got an answer in 24 hours and a check 3 days later. So no, we did NOT have a good experience with SquareTrade/Allstate. It's been six days and we still don't have a TV, and are still waiting for an expected delivery date.

The tablet got knocked off the table onto the floor by a feline. I sent it to be repaired. They received it on a Friday, fixed it on a Friday, and I had it back on Tuesday the next week. I'm very satisfied other than getting the shipping label to ship it out. I had a hard time. I got an email and there was a blue space that said, "Print label." I would click on that and it would do nothing. It took me four extra days to get the label. I sent Allstate Protection Plans an email and they sent me the same email back but that button did not work either. They finally sent it two days after as a PDF, which I got printed. After it happened and I contacted Allstate, it took me another week before I could get the label printed. Be sure that when they send the shipping label that it is with the email. Even if they sent it as an attachment. An attachment to an email would probably be better.

While I appreciate their efforts, I wish the accident and damage never happened. I purchased an Allstate Protection Plan when purchasing my Bosch Refrigerator from Home Depot. Due to an issue with our ice maker not working, a technician was sent to our home to replace it. Unfortunately, during the repair, the technician dropped the unit and it hit the inside of our one year old $3500 refrigerator and cracked the plastic inside of the fridge. I requested resolution and all Square Trade would offer was a $100 dollar check stating that due to it being cosmetic, they are not responsible. I find this unacceptable. While this was an accident, the damage was caused by a technician they hired and sent to our home. There should be greater accountability when these things happen. Do we have to worry about damage to our appliance every time we need a service repair?

There needs to be a different way to check with the item if something happened or if there is a case for the item. Something's missing. Because I didn't find a way to know what happened after Allstate Protection Plans contacted me and told me to choose the item. I emailed them twice, but I had no response. I felt the case closed. I didn't receive a camera. I still have the old one with me, but nothing gets any improved. The last time when we went to buy a TV, they asked us if we wanted a warranty. We said no, because I had a hard time with the experience I had with my camera.
My camera wasn't working. Something was wrong with the wire for the camera, where you put the wire inside the camera. So, the camera wasn't connected. I had to call customer service for them to replace it for me. Nobody responded to me. I had to contact Allstate Protection Plans. They worked with me about it. And the last email I got from them, they let me choose the product that I wanted, like the same one as the one I bought first. But after that, I didn't receive anything for a month or more after I got the email. I don't know what happened with the item. It has been a month.

We're using Allstate now for a washer, and it’s going just fine. The problem is we had to call Maytag, and Maytag sent us the wrong part. The repairman came out and he said, "They got the wrong part that will fit your machine.” The repairman knows what's going on. He ordered another part that's gonna come in. Allstate arranged everything for the repairman to come out and everything. I appreciated them helping us.

I called Allstate for a lawn mower claim, and I spoke to a representative. They sent me a link, and I had to do that part of it. They reached back to me and let me know that at this time they were sending me the refund. I purchased the item at Target with Target credit card, and that was how it was handled when they determined that it wasn't gonna be fixable because of the value of it. They refunded me the money for it once I sent them the information. They put it on a gift card. It wasn't very long. They did what they needed to do on their end. I appreciate that I was able to get the funds refunded since they couldn't fix it. That was helpful.
They didn't make it hard for me. I didn't know what was gonna happen. They made it very easy and convenient for me. At the same time, they were really reassuring. They were quick to respond with, “We're gonna go ahead and refund you for this item.” Normally, I try not to go with warranties, but this time, I did. I did something and when this had happened, I was like, “Oh my goodness. I wish I would have gotten it insured. I wish I got the warranty for it.” I went back to look and I said, “I feel like I did.” I looked into my Target app and I saw that I did purchase it. So, I said, “Oh, man. I hope it's not too late.” I called them back, and it all worked out. It was a good thing I decided to check or I would have lost out on that. I'm very grateful.

I got my Allstate policy through Walmart where I bought the computer at and I made a claim when it stopped working. They sent me my refund then I went and bought one for my son. Initially, once they looked up my warranty, it looked like a new one. But the item was a refurbished item, so there was a little back and forth and it took us a little bit. But overall, everyone was nice and it worked great for me.

The panel in our television, one of the backlights burned out. Allstate sent a repair person to my house who brought a replacement screen and installed it. It is working back to normal now. The reps were helpful. They understood what I was trying to do. Worked on the troubleshooting steps required quickly and we were able to schedule a repair in 20 minutes. Overall, it was an easy experience. However, I had to enter a bunch of information online to get in touch with a person. When I spoke to the person, they had to ask for all the same information. It seemed a little duplicative 'cause they should have had that.

We had damage on the table where the screws were coming off and there were tears in the chairs. I submitted a claim online and they called me, they needed more information. It was easy. I purchased Allstate for my refrigerator. I called them initially. They sent me instructions. They said I had to defrost the fridge, which meant we had to unplug it for 48 hours and then plug it back in to see if that fixed the issue. That was a pain 'cause that took us two months before we got in a position where we could do that. Our issue was the ice maker and that did not fix it. I called back two months later and they sent the parts to me and fixed it. Everything went fine after that.

When I got the futon, it was defective. I still had a warranty from the manufacturer but I couldn't get ahold of them. I told Allstate and they solved it right away. They told me how to go through it and everything was through email. It was easy and they were really helpful. I would recommend them because they were fast on the claim. The insurance was 20-something dollars but I got paid for the whole futon.

They were very helpful to get me all the information I needed and it was super easy to get the claims process started online with Allstate. Once I got the claim number, the appliance company called me and scheduled appointments from there. A repairman came out and replaced a part where the buttons light up on the washer. It didn't work later that day so they had to come back out and fix it. There was a hose that came unattached. After four weeks, it stopped working again. I have been without a washer for two weeks now. They were supposed to come out Monday but the wrong parts were ordered.

STILL WAITING!!!! I took the broken laptop to a shop as instructed, told it cannot be repaired. I submitted (uploaded) the proper documents and was told it was received and to wait 24-48 hours to get a resolution. That was over 10 days ago! They keep saying they cannot reach the repair shop, however the e-mail and phone number is on the invoice that was uploaded. I have visited the repair shop 3 times since I filed this claim. Every time I call, I'm told to follow the instructions in the e-mail.... still zero resolution... waste of money and effort. I would NEVER use this warranty company again and now I am without a laptop and have to buy a new one - more money out of my pocket - which was why I paid for the warranty to begin with.

I started this claim on August 2nd. I was emailed a link showing the only TV that was available in 50 inch at that time so I chose it. I received email updates over the next few days about shipping and where it was coming from (Best Buy). ETA was 12th August. Yesterday the 14th, I called the Allstate number from the email. The gentleman I spoke to gave the order # so Best Buy could trace it. Best Buy said the TV wasn’t In stock when it was ordered and the soonest they might get it was 26th of August.
I called Allstate back and relayed what Best Buy had told me. The gentleman put me on hold while he spoke with his “team”. He apologized and said someone would be in touch today. I got an email this afternoon that some would let me know in one to two days the status of my replacement tv. What started out as a pleasant experience has turned into a nightmare. I paid for a four year warranty and have been waiting thirteen days and still don’t have a tv. I am not at all happy. If something doesn’t happen within the next few days I plan to start filing complaints.

Allstate is a hard company to speak to customer service. I’m 67 and it’s hard for me and the internet. It took me over 5 days to finally have someone help me. It’s crazy that we have to supply the receipt that was 1 year ago. Target corporation was good. They supplied the receipt. But I don’t that should be necessary. When we buy insurance it should automatically go with receipt. You guys need to make it better for us. I always buy insurance when I buy expensive things.

We explained the issue to the store where we purchased the sofa. They said to file the claim with SquareTrade and someone would come out to see if they can fix the issue. The claim was denied before anyone was assigned to come out. What's the point in having this protection if we can't rely on it. Just a terrible experience and even worse product.

I bought a sectional couch from Wayfair not even two years ago. When purchasing the couch, I made sure to get the extra protection plan. If I would have known now, that this is what I’d be dealing with, I would save myself the money. Allstate, squaretrade has been the absolute worst company to deal with hands down! The frame of my couch is broken in several places, as well as the wooden backing, on several pieces. One of the back cushions has a huge rip, from my dog. I started my claim a month ago. Said they would send a technician out to assess the damage and move forward.
The couch is not repairable, but they want to send another technician to my house for 7 plus hours, to rip apart my couch. Fix the damage with wood, as well as sew my back pillow together, which would be noticeable. I’m beyond frustrated that this is their resolution, when clearly, the couch is not repairable! I have been given the runaround for days. And to think they basically want to rig my couch back together is complete nonsense to me! Will never buy anything from allstate ever again! I have never had an experience as difficult or as ridiculous as this! Save your money!

I purchased a Maytag washer at Home Depot late 2022. It always gave me problems. Then it stopped working altogether. I called Allstate to file a claim, so they sent a technician out and he checked the washer and determined that the stripped wires on the panel were because I had rats, to which I said, no I don't have any rats or any rodents of any kind. Allstate refused to send out a another technician for a second opinion. They just closed my claim and I couldn't file a complaint because it so happens they don't have a complaint department, or a supervisor available to take my call. I don't recommend this insurance at all.

Filing the claim was super easy but that was the only thing that I’d say was the best experience. The first options to replace were ridiculous and the second options although better weren’t as good or better than the original product unless it’s a tv maybe. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the insurance plan. That’s been my experience so far.

Purchased a recliner for my dad last year at BigLots. I put insurance on the chair & a year later the chair is literally ripping at the seam. I have called & escalated my claim three times to be continuously declined. I call the manufacturer, they agree it's a defect on their end & don't understand why it keeps being declined. My only option is to pay for a repairman to fix myself out of pocket or pay $250 shipping fee for a replacement chair piece from the manufacturer. Would never do business with this company again.

But I included a large note asking to remove my cassette tape stuck in the unit. Please send it back to me because it was crucial to me. The tape was salvaged with unit. I had phone protection for 2 yrs 6 months with SquareTrade (S/T) with $19.99 automatic payments monthly. June 2024 my debit card was hacked. I rec'd email from S/T of missing June payment. I called to advise bank cancelled debit card, gave new card # and issued new one. Protection policy re-instated by S/T. Aug 6th I received email from S/T both phone policies cancelled by S/T. I replied to email asking why. Aug 7th I received email asking I call S/T. I called this morning. Representative said policy cancelled 2 months ago and can't be reactivated. I asked why. He said they haven't received payment for more than 2 months.
I asked to speak to supervisor. Rose identified herself as a supervisor. She confirmed June email they sent; I called to change debit card #; June payment was made. She said July payment wasn't received. I said we were on auto payment, why payment wasn't processed? No answer. She confirmed they didn't send July email regarding missing payment. Couldn't explain why. She confirmed their system had a clinch and didn't send email advising of July cancellation. She admitted both errors caused cancellation; but due to their policy they can't activate cancelled policy. She said she will refund 2 months of payments for their error; but I'll have to purchase another protection policy.

I inadvertently broke my bracelet and the submission to repair was quick and seamless. After a few standard questions, customer service gave me a claims number which allowed me to ship the bracelet to them right away. Unfortunately my bracelet was unable to be repaired, and so they sent me a reimbursement for the cost of the bracelet.

Had an issue with a Fridge ice maker not making ice. The phone rep from Allstate tried to diagnose it over the phone. This is after I did everything offered on the Samsung website and other web pages. After being told to turn my fridge off for 24 hours then check to see if ice was made, I called back, went through the same questions with a different rep. Finally the new rep ordered parts (not all the correct parts) and gave me what I thought was an service appt. Took the day off from work. Got a call from the service co. a day before the service date and was told a different date. Never was told to turn my fridge off the day the tech comes. Got reprimanded by the tech. Was only sent one of 2 parts that was for the icemaker and a erroneous part. So now the fridge makes ice, but it melts together in the ice bucket.

There is a problem with the replacement vacuum cleaner. The original brand vacuum cleaner was a Bissell and the one you are trying to give me is a Dirt Devil. The dirt devil does not meet all of the specifications. It does not have all of the attachments and the rewind cord mechanism. I am disabled and the Bissell was brought for a reason to make it easy for me to handle. I own a Kirby which is a better appliance than both the Bissell and the dirt devil, but it was too heavy for me to handle, and it does have the attachments, but I could not use the vacuum cleaner is why I went and spent money to buy the Bissell. I feel that you are trying to give me something that you have but no one wants, and I am being taken of advantage. The customers service person was pleasant and professional.

In March 2024, I purchased a pair of Beats Studio Pro wireless headphones. The headband on the headphones split in half in less than 6 weeks. Not dropped, physical design flaw. I submitted for repair. Headphone headband again split a few days after I received them back from repair. The initial contact was frustrating. I filled out the online format which asked me for my current email, then said my current email wasn't valid. Then asked me to use another email which I did, then asked me which email I used when I purchased my item and the insurance, which are the email that they said was not valid. Then once they connected all of my purchases in parentheses, to my newer email, then they asked me why I had not used my email which they had deemed not valid. After I got in contact with an actual person the third or fourth time it went smoother. Thank you.

Claim process was very fast and simple. Repairs were fast and done correctly. I would highly recommend. The insurance was well worth it. Out of pocket cost would have been expensive to fix without the insurance. Everything was done online and through prepaid delivery labels and this made the process very simple and quick.

Laptop was opened too far, and the screen stopped working. Screen was repaired and returned quickly. Very satisfied. Glad I bought the warranty since this is a school laptop and contains a lot of schoolwork on it. Highly recommended warranty. Well worth the extra cost, especially for a laptop that will be used as a portable device — being transported from home to school and back again.

I filed a claim recently my damaged eye glasses using the app. I inadvertently melted a mark on one of the lenses. The claim process on the app was relatively painless and only took about 10 mins. I followed the prompts and uploaded photos taken with my phone. Allstate communication was quick, and provided a swift resolution by emailing me a gift card. I was able to use the gift card at the same retailer to get a replacement pair of glasses. I purchased another Allstate warranty with my new pair of glasses because I was so satisfied with my precious experience.

I purchased a stove from Costco and ended up buying a SquareTrade (Allstate) protection plan. A month before the protection plan expired I contacted Allstate to inform them of problems I was having with the stove. Long story short, they end up having to reimburse me for the stove because the parts were on back order. I am extremely happy and I went with Allstate for this protection plan.

My grandson's PS4 controller stopped functioning properly. No one in our area offered repair service. I was given a full refund in the form of an E-Gift Card. I purchased two electric scooters with extended warranties. Since the purchase we have had mechanical issues and submitted claims for replacement. The claim was acknowledged and approved and a response with replacements scooter was provided. However, none of which was acceptable. The replacements did not meet the same criteria or function whereas, none were electric with exception to an item for a 3-5 yr. old child. Nothing additional has been offered and I responded to Allstate and no reply to date.

In attempting to file a claim for the just over one-year old GE fridge/freezer I purchased (stopped cooling AND freezing) it took several calls to AllState/SquareTrade over a period of four days, as the representatives were not well-versed in the process. I finally was connected to GE, who sent a repair technician to assess and then scheduled another date to do the repair at no charge because this issue with the compressor is a VERY common, known problem. Total time from the initial call to AllState/SquareTrade until the repair: Three weeks. To add insult: While the freezer seems to be doing its job now that the compressor was replaced, the fridge is still not cooling at GE's recommended setting of 37 degrees.

3 weeks from the start of the claim before anyone can come out to repair the TV. They sent an email saying “your provider will call you” to setup the repair date. No call for 5 days, I had to call in to get an appointment. We have a box of parts sitting, waiting for an installer. Should be interesting.

The people working there were Very nice and helpful. The only problem I see is that the keyboard was not included in the warranty because that is part of the computer. You can not do anything without the keyboard and the keyboard charges the pen. So I have to buy a keyboard that my only complaint.

Can't give you a straight answer and always deferring the issue to the "team" that makes the decisions. I purchased this scooter as a birthday present for my 13 year old granddaughter. The scooter developed a clicking noise and then issues with the speed. I called Allstate, who told me to call the manufacturer; which I did. The manufacturer told me I didn't buy it from them and to go back to AllState. This is the answer I got from AllState. "We will email you places where YOU can take it to get fixed, YOU will pay for it, and we will reimburse you with either a WALMART card or will send you a check in 12/14 business days". I will never buy AllState insurance on anything again. Currently I am contacting my lawyer to get the replacement scooter which I should've gotten in the first place!!

Part that held canopy to swing had snapped and could not be replaced or repaired. Many of the screws, nuts and bolts were very rusted even with using the plastic covers. SquareTrade representative was professional and knowledgeable who knew how to follow through with my claim. I would recommend using an Allstate warranty with each eligible purchase.

I would give this warranty company ZERO Stars as well as their resale partner Sam's. They offer to sell you this protection plan with the Intentions of filling a claim if your glasses break etc and the company refuses to process the claim. This is a SCAMMM. DO NOT purchase it- save your money. I will also file a complaint with the BBB. Customer service also sucks! When you speak with a representative 1 day the next day the other one says something totally different.

This has to be the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with. As many other people have the same complaints - they ask you to send documentation then after not hearing from them, you check back and they say, "We never received it." We got an email from them giving us the ok to have my laptop fixed locally, then after having it looked at locally, the next person says, no, "You were supposed to send it back to us." Then they tell us we will be getting a check within six days. When that didn't show up, they tell us, it needs further review. I think they must have morning meetings and go over new ways to frustrated the consumer so they just get so frustrated they give up and then SquareTrade gets out of paying another claim. Do yourself a favor and find a competent warrant company!

This company absolutely Stonewalls you from using your warranty. They use a live agent to collect your information then submit all your information to a review team whom you cannot speak to. Everything is via email. They just keep requesting the same information so you will eventually give up. I will not give up I will triple down on principle alone. I can’t wait for the insurance regulatory agency to follow up on the complaint that I submitted for how great this company is. Abysmal customer service!!!!

I had purchased an extended warranty for my dehumidifier. It developed an issue that was not fixable and Allstate honored the warranty by first trying to find me an exact replacement, but when that failed, they sent me a check for a full refund of my purchase price (but they did not reimburse the tax I paid). I felt this was fair since taxes go to the government and not the seller.

I bought a TV from Walmart and I added the Allstate protection plan//Squaretrade. I began my claim 3/19/24. We are now in 7/24/24 and nothing has been resolved. After speaking with them back in March, they were requesting pictures and videos of everything that I was claiming. When I finally got someone to my house to help me take these photos and videos & when they finally sent me an email for me to reach out to them and I did they wanted more photos.
Allstate Squaretrade want you to jump through hoops as if you were in a circus to get what's rightfully yours. It makes it feel like if they continue to ask for more and more just to you annoyed enough so you can give up, and not to mention customer service is not helpful. After talking to customer service for about 30 minutes I asked to talk to a supervisor, and of course no supervisor was available to talk to me to resolve this problem. This has been ongoing since March. This has been one of my worst experiences I’ve ever had and I’m very surprised that Allstate would treat customers this way. This does not feel like protection plan. It feels like a fraud plan.

This is the first time we have had to use an appliance warranty that we had paid for, so we were not sure what to expect. Although there were a number of steps we had to go to, Allstate was very fair in their assessment of the situation and in the end decided that our dishwasher could not be repaired. They cut us a check for the full purchase price of the dishwasher so were able to purchase a replacement. We are very satisfied with the service Allstate provided.

I purchased my Xerox B610, March 22, 2022. I had two good years with this printer, it started to have constant paper jams. I called Allstate Protection Plan and I was told to have a repair person look into this problem. June 11, 2024, Geek Squad clean the printer and it printed without paper jams for a few days. I called Allstate Protections Plan July 18, 2024, one of their people had me power cycle the printer for 2 minutes. Of course the printer printed several pages without paper jams. July 23, 2024, paper jams again, spoke with Abraham, he had me power cycle the printer for 90 minutes. I am never paying for a protection plan with Allstate Protection.

Ebay wouldn't stand by me as promised. The ebay seller lied in his description and didn't live up so his word. But All State came to my rescue. I submitted the claim and it was approved. Payment was received via email in the form of a virtual prepaid Mastercard. I used part of the card balance to successfully purchase an item online but still need to use the remaining balance which may be a problem if purchase price of item is more than balance. We'll see how that works out. However if I submit another claim I will request a check to be mailed.

The cat knocked the computer off the table while my kids were using it, and the screen went half black, like a TV shattering. I called Allstate and explained the situation. They wanted to know when I purchased it and if there was a receipt. I told them I purchased it through Walmart and there's no proof I got it from Walmart. It didn't even give me a receipt. I even called Walmart customer service and their online department to try and figure out how to fix that problem. I had to go through my emails, find the purchase email that says, "Thank you for using Walmart.com," and give different screenshots of that.
Allstate ended up with multiple screenshots from my phone as well as pictures of the computer that was broken and the serial number. Then I called them and told them I needed to make sure that those pictures were what they needed. I wanted make sure I got it right because I didn't wanna keep going back and forth. The people that I talked to told me those were perfect, that they'd keep me notified, and they did. A couple of days later, I got a confirmation. They were very accommodating.
The coverage is good. Allstate couldn't find the exact one that I had, so they went ahead and sent me a gift card. It only took me a while because I had to get ahold of somebody on the phone, which sometimes is easy and sometimes hard. But I like doing the protection plan because, a lot of times, it has saved me a lot of hassle. However, if I wasn't familiar with the extended warranty, I wouldn't know what to do to get it. All it does is it pops up a prompt asking if I want the extended warranty. It doesn't go into detail.

I have never had claims process as smooth and hassle free as I have had with Allstate. Thank you so much for that!!! If Allstate is associated with any product we purchase in the future, we will definitely get the warranty with it. Again, thank you so much for making our claim move so quick and without hassle.

My air fryer broke and it stopped warming up the food after a while. I had a warranty on it. I contacted Allstate. It was super easy to file a claim. Once I registered, it had a link and it was self-explanatory. I just read what it said, selected what fit the description of what was going on, and right away they got in contact with me. They replaced it.

No help whatsoever!! Had a 3 year warranty for what? Was on year 2, it was recognized there was a defect by different ones spoken with and still unwilling to do anything about it!?!?!? Sad way to make money to represent yourself as being there for the consumer, giving us peace of mind, and leaving us hanging! I have voiced to others and will continue to do so about not wasting money on an "extended warranty"!!!!

However, our Terms & Conditions state that the item has to be fully functional at the time of purchase in order to qualify for coverage. This was not the case with your claim.

I got a phone through Costco and they recommended Allstate. I filed a claim for a cracked screen. The claims process was very good, very simple, and fast. I took the phone to a local person here and they fixed it. Having the extended warranty was very valuable. Allstate was excellent. The experience I had was very good.

It was easy to file a claim...I had no issues at all...I would recommend family and friends. It was quick and easy. I'm satisfied with your service. I was instructed through the process..step by step. I was also impressed on how fast the process took. This is not my first time with your company. I have to say the service has improved.

The overall process was alright. There's a lot of steps before completion and for someone who doesn't check their email daily it would be nice if it was a one and done. When asked to pick another product as replacement it's unclear on how to respond to which product you want.
