I ordered a treadmill from eBay a year and a half ago, and they recommended insurance for it. I had a small claim for the item with Allstate because it stopped working, and all went well. The claim process took less than two weeks. I started online, but I did not have enough information about my equipment, and so I then talked to a gentleman who was helpful. Then after that, it was all online again. Allstate and SquareTrade were timely easy to deal with. The closure was very satisfactory, so it was positive experience overall.

Allstate Protection Plans were excellent. Their customer service was great. The only issue with my first claim was that I didn’t realize they would send me the money back after I paid to fix my phone. They were supposed to send me $211 after the deduction, but I didn’t receive it until later.

I purchased an Allstate warranty for my PS5 because its manufacturing warranty wasn’t long enough. When I filed the claim, Allstate asked for my basic information and the serial number of my PS5. They provided excellent customer support.

I purchased a protection plan for some living room furniture from Allstate at the store. I made a claim for some pet damage and submitted it online. Having an extended warranty is very valuable if you can get the people to call you to come do the work. So far, the customer service has been good, but I still haven’t heard back from the contractor.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for my eyeglasses. You never know what’s gonna happen, so it’s a good thing to have. I ended up making a claim and filed it over the phone. The representative I spoke with was great.

Was allowed to pick replacement of countertop ice maker that makes nugget ice from around 3 choices. Took a couple of weeks but only had to check with Allstate once to see when ice maker would be delivered. So glad I took out the warranty and it had not expired. I was not charged anything for delivery of replacement ice maker. Allstate made it easy to go through process.

I purchased a couch through NFM, and I also purchased a 5 year warranty to go along with it! We are two SENIORS, and not abusing items! The couch started to tilt, bed would not come out smoothly,, and when we did get it out (took several people), and there was a gash in the mattress, springs came out, and is really unusable! Allstate wanted pictures, and then proceeded to tell me it was not covered! I wrote them back, politely, and demanded further action. They sent Danny, a very nice gentleman, who agreed that it would cost more to fix it than replace it, but I have heard nothing since (except this survey)! Please help me, as I purchased the plan in good faith!

I have several plans from Allstate and purchased one on ebay along with my Samsung Galaxy 7 Watch. A few months later and it's got all kinda of issues. Samsung isn't even. Able to figure it out so I file a claim with Allstate. They tell me to go to Samsung, I tell them I already did, they just repeated go to Samsung like I was taking to a wall, I keep telling them I already did until one CSR finally listens. We troubleshoot for 2-3 hours, finally offers a "Payment" of $20 less than the cost to replace. Whatever, I accept it. They go through all the terms, I sign and accept, they mail a check, I cash it, 2 days later I get a charge back because Allstate canceled the check and just sent a random email that went to spam because it was such a generic looking email. They provide no explanation. I now owe my bank $200 from this $150 after fees from the canceled check.
I finally get an "explanation " that is was canceled because the receipt I sent didn't have enough information, they tell me what information they need. But the receipt they say isn't good enough had all the info they are requesting. I went ahead and sent new receipt pictures with all required information and they will not respond. They have closed my warranty saying it's satisfied and will not make things right or even respond to me at all. This seems highly unethical and I am going to be looking into if I can take any legal action. I am -$200 at my bank because they accepted the recipts then rejected them after already mailing me a claim check. Can anyone advise me on anything I can do to hold them accountable?

I have an Allstate Protection Plan which I purchased through Home Depot when I bought a new refrigerator. Plan was great until I had to use it. I registered through the portal and the only way to submit a claim is through the portal. However, the portal won't take my receipt submission. I've tried contacting them through chat and text and phone and nobody will help me. Plan is useless because I can't submit my claim. A waste of money. I do not recommend the Allstate Protection Plan.

The tablet will not turn on. After charging, the tablet will not start. Will not light up or show any signs of being g able to function. I only had the product a little over 30 days. I returned to Walmart, and was told to file a claim. I did and have not heard from anyone.

I have purchased many of the ALLSTATE Protection plans for TVs I have purchased at COSTCO. Recently, the 77" LG TV I purchased from COSTO with the ALLSTATE Protection plan failed due to a defective screen (the screen was turning off intermittently). After many rounds with the ALLSTATE customer service people (all of whom were working out of India and were very difficult to understand) to try to debug the issues they agreed to send a tech out. The tech didn't show on the first day but arrived on the second day. Two PCBA's were send in advance of his visit to my home. He used his remote control when he arrived for a few seconds on the TV and immediately said it was a bad screen. (I told him I told the ALLSTATE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE THIS many times because the LG self diagnostics test showed this to be the issue.)
So this was 34 days ago. AllState said they would now replace the TV. This is where the real shenanigans started. I live in an area of San Diego where US Postal does not delivery to the HOME ADDRESS. So when AllState said that they could only us USPOSTAL to deliver the TV, I told them that they would need another carrier to do so. They balked and said that was impossible. So they told me to give them the PO Box address I had and they would send me the tracking number in advance of the shipment.
After days I heard nothing and followed up. They said it was not possible for them to ship a 77" TV to a PO Box (not kidding I had told them this). Said there was nothing to do and they could not replace the TV. No options. This is a $2,400 TV by the way. So I called COSTCO to get them involved. They called ALLSTATE (RUDY WAS AWESOME FROM COSTCO) and he got ALLSTATE to agree to ship the TV out to my PHYSICAL ADDRESS using UPS or FEDEX. Problem solved. He said I would get the tracking information later in the day (that was this past Friday). The next day I receive this email from ALLSTATE below: Claim #: **.

I called them immediately to ask how they can ship via this carrier called NSD (have no idea who this is?) for a "DOORSTEP" delivery with "adult signature required" when the address they have used is a US POST OFFICE BOX??? I had JUST been over this with them and COSTCO the previous week and they had agreed to ship to the physical address with either UPS or FEDEX. They had done nothing they committed to. So I contacted them and they told me I was right and wow they would need to pull back that shipment and escalate this again to somebody who could help.
I called COSTCO again and spent an hour with COSTCO and ALLSTATE INDIA on the phone. In the end they said nothing could be done. If I did not have an address which US POSTAL could deliver to then I was out of luck. I was left wondering how a US POSTAL TRUCK (the mailman) would even handle the box that this 77" TV comes in??? IT IS HUGE? How would he carry it? How would he fit it on his truck? So I checked with the Post Office... and they indeed came back to me saying:

Maximum Length: 108 inches (for most services)Maximum Combined Length + Girth: 130 inches
Maximum Weight: 70 lbs (for standard services)
A 77" TV (boxed) usually exceeds both the size and sometimes the weight limits, especially when factoring in:
Protective foam and packagingDimensions that often exceed 70 inches in length and 20+ inches in depth, pushing total girth and length over the limit"
So I guess the ALLSTATE INDIA WARRANTY people were lying to me about this too??? It REALLY seems to me that they DO NOT want to replace this LG TV because it is too expensive. So they are blocking on every alternative. When I call COSTCO now to try to get them back involved they say that this is between me and ALLSTATE and that "COSTCO DO NOT PROVIDE THE WARRANTY SERVICE" so there is nothing that COSTCO can do? I then think to myself... wait a moment. I PURCHASED this ALLSTATE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM COSTCO? How is this different from any other product or service I would BUY/PURCHASE from COSTCO??
I am now giving up and will lose the $2,400 and have to buy a new TV on my own dime... but boy have I learned a lesson about Warranties and how worthless they are. And I learned about COSTCO and their warranty partners... You can buy them and pay for them... just don't expect to cash in on them if you need to because they do not back it up.

Initial response was to take phone for repair. Turned out on investigation that would involve having to order parts, if they're available, and could take some time. Revised solution was to send replacement phone, which "finally" arrived and is in use. Note: Perhaps might not want to use USPS Priority Mail again. Phone arrived 3 days late and was just put in mail pickup, not signed for.

So, they are a total fraud. They denied my legitimate claim despite reaching them multiple times. They refused to provided the contractual services for our sofa cleaning. I am launching official complaint against them with consumer affairs & and with state of Missouri.

I’ve been without my refrigerator for three weeks and have two repair appointments cancelled on the day of. Allstate coverage has been a nightmare. I bought an LG refrigerator at Home Depot and purchased the extended warranty. The fridge $2500 fridge died in year four. We call Allstate. They say “someone will come out tomorrow between 8am and 5pm”. Nope. No one came. We get an email. “Your new appointment is in 2 weeks so I wait two weeks and then all day” and no one came.
Fridge just sitting jn the kitchen basically bricked for weeks! New email. Some will come next week! We say no! We want to replace this. This is unacceptable. If I knew that it would take weeks to get it fixed, I NEVER would have purchased this “warranty”. They say, "Ok! We will call you in 24 hours about replacement." Nope. They didn’t. Allstate is great at collecting my money and then running us in circles to try to receive what I paid for.

Chair stopped working and was replaced amount paid. Was no comparable chair available at time so was refunded amount paid for the chair. Everyone was very helpful and it was taken care of in a timely fashion. I have only good things to say about my experience concerning the replacement of my chair.

I was not sure about getting the warranty. They always seem like a hassle to process. It wasn't the case this time! I am so happy with the warranty I got through Walmart. I got my vacuum replaced with no problem and very quickly! I got a check because they weren't able to replace the original vacuum exactly. I waited about a week or so and there the check was! Very cool. Thank you!

On August 24, 2024, I placed an online order that included an Allstate Protection Plan. I later decided to cancel the entire order on the same day, and Walmart promptly refunded the amount for the purchased item. However, the Allstate Protection Plan was not refunded, even though the order was canceled immediately. Months later, I discovered this issue when my daughter's tablet malfunctioned (another purchase), prompting me to request a cancellation of the protection plan.
Instead of refunding me in full immediately, Allstate repeatedly cited their policy, stating that I was not eligible for a full refund—even though the original purchase was canceled the same day. This experience feels like a predatory practice, as it allows them to retain money for a service that was never needed due to the order cancellation. I strongly advise potential customers to carefully review refund policies before purchasing an Allstate Protection Plan through Walmart. If a canceled order does not automatically refund the protection plan, you may risk losing your money due to unclear policies and rigid customer service responses.

Allstate keeps their word and stands behind their warranty. It has been easy through the whole process with my air fryer. I’m a senior citizen, and I spoke to a young lady and a gentleman. They walked me through it step by step. They were very kind, professional, and represented Allstate very, very well. They returned the air fryer. I’m just waiting to get a ride to the Federal Express office so I could get it and waiting for them to send me my compensation. I would recommend them and tell people to cover their appliances.

My experience with Allstate was 100% great. I purchased a protection plan for a PS5 online, and their website was easy to use. I did have to file a claim, and it was smooth. It took them two days to process it, and they sent me a check. I’m very pleased as a customer.

I have a PlayStation Portable, Collector's Edition. I had to file a claim for it because the left joystick on it got locked up. Allstate sent me a box and I put everything I needed to put in there. They gave me a free shipping label as well. I put it on the box and shipped it out. I kept an eye on it as it went through the process. I was following them online, like their process of looking for parts. They said it should take two to three days for them to do the repair. I was amazed by that. I worked in the video game industry and it was just take it apart, unsolder the left joystick, put a new one in there, solder it in there, and screw it all back together.
This claim was taken care of in a timely manner. In three weeks to a month, I got my PlayStation Portable back. It works perfectly now. I bought another one, and I've got insurance on it, too. Walmart has Allstate and I tell all my friends, "If you purchase something from Walmart, make sure you get the insurance on it. Even if it's the radio or something stupid, buy the insurance on it because it might break on you.“ I bought a mixer five years ago and broke it at Thanksgiving. I went out and bought a new mixer to finish my food and I got the warranty on it. I was like, "If this one dies on me, I'll be covered it again."

We purchased Allstate Protection Plans for our two tablets, TV, and computer. Filing a claim with them was pretty straightforward. I first filed a claim online, and then I got an email back with a claim number and a detailed explanation of what they were going to do. Then we sent the product back to them. They returned the product all repaired within the week.
The other claim was done over the phone. It was the same thing as the online claim. They tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone and it didn't work, and so we went ahead and got a return address. In both claims, I got a return address and a shipping label that was emailed to me. So, I packed the product and sent it back. It was returned to me, and all working again. They were very professional.

I filed a claim for my cellphone and it was very easy. It didn’t take long, not even a month. When I went to get my replacement phone, there was a little problem with the gift card that was emailed to me. But the issue could’ve been on Walmart’s end. Other than that, everything is good.
I got the warranty on my son’s Switch too. He has autism, and he broke my cellphone and his Switch. So, it’s definitely a good thing to have.

Dishonest company. I bought a used printer on eBay and bought the Square tease warranty. The printer broke after a few weeks. SquareTrade gave me the runaround for a couple weeks, then asked for a print sample. I sent a sample of a spreadsheet I printed. They cancelled the warranty saying I was using it for a business. They offered to “prorate” the time that had passed and refund me the balance I had paid them. When I threatened a small claims action, they agreed to refund the purchase price of the warranty. These folks are dishonest.

I was told that you were going to send me a shipping label 3 weeks ago. It is going on one month now. Your representative said that it was in the mail two weeks ago and I never got it. No one seems to know where the shipping label is coming from. Very unhappy with you guys.

My experience was not an easy road to a satisfactory outcome but eventually everything worked out. I only wish Allstate Square had referrals to facilitate the repair process but then the integrated disincentive would be countered. I did not give up, but came really close to just throwing the machine away.

I appreciate their patience in this matter another day and I recently bought a couple other TVs and have the Allstate plan on them because I'm hoping that this will be an easier process next time if something happens. As someone on a low, fixed income, I purchased an Allstate protection plan, thinking it would give me peace of mind. Instead, I was left feeling manipulated, dismissed, and emotionally drained. When my TV failed, they offered me a cheap, outdated Insignia model—which I accepted and then returned due to its poor quality. Shockingly, they tried to send me the exact same model again. Other options they provided were older, HD-only TVs that weren’t even close to the 4K model I originally had. When I tried to explain this, they talked over me, twisted my words, and made me feel like I was the problem.
I asked for a reasonable cash settlement, but they refused while dangling the same TV I’d already returned. I was pushed into accepting a resolution out of emotional exhaustion—not because it was right. This was never about customer care—it was about making me give up. Allstate’s behavior was manipulative and deeply inconsiderate of anyone in a vulnerable position. I regret trusting them, and I want others to know: if you can’t afford to fight back, they’ll walk all over you.

The service was quick, understandable, and very professional. Best I've ever dealt with. My son's VR charging port melted from regular use and it was simply repaired and sent back in less than 2 weeks at no cost to me. Overall it's was an excels experience! The initial contact back from the warranty company was suitable - not short but not too long. Upon video phone examination of the warrantied product - an electric recliner, a determination was made to honor the warranty and order parts for repair. I received the parts in about 2 weeks. That same day when the parts came, I installed them in about 2 hours. The recliner is now back to full service.

Dealing with Allstate Protection Plans has been an absolute nightmare. Filing a claim feels like going through 100 unnecessary steps—each more frustrating than the last. Every time I call, I’m told something completely different, as if no one has a clue what the actual process is. There’s zero consistency, and it’s incredibly time-consuming. I completely regret buying this bogus warranty. It’s nothing but a headache, and it’s honestly insulting how much runaround they put customers through just to avoid fulfilling their end of the deal. Home Depot is just as guilty for promoting and selling such a useless service. They should be ashamed for pushing this plan to loyal customers when it’s clearly not reliable or customer-friendly. Save yourself the time, energy, and disappointment—avoid Allstate Protection Plans at all costs.

My treadmill was powering off every few minutes and making a claim with Allstate only took a few minutes. They reimbursed me for the treadmill instead of a replacement. I am a field service engineer specializing in root cause diagnostics and I was denied a claim for a mechanical failure (banging and a leak) because they found bugs in the washer even though it's a known failure point for the springs to fail. It was even previously serviced by the manufacturer for the same issue loose bolts and bad springs. But they still attributed to bugs how can a bug undo bolts and cause a leak that was probably caused by the loose bolts?

I was giving a timetable of 5-7 Business days and 2 days for shipping but having gotten my laptop yet. I had to call to see why it was taking a lot. The reason was that they couldn't fix it at the original spot so it stayed there for like 2 weeks. I called again and it's finally got to New York where they can hopefully fix.

My tv broke. I tried to get you to fix the problem but I was given the runaround over and over. I finally got approval for a replacement. And the replacement was smashed so more weeks went past and finally I got the replacement for the replacement and it was smashed just like the other replacement. It was damaged in the factory. I was repeatedly told I have to wait for a email 1 to 2 days and then had to wait the same time until months has passed. I have asked for compensation. For all the runaround time aggravation.
This is also have been given the runaround and avoided the subject. As I can't get anything out of anyone. About compensation. They tell me that they have put it in and someone will get back with me about compensation. And no one ever replied. I believe that compensation is a is definite need right now. Someone needs to get back to me ASAP. Unhappy. You need to treat your customers as if their needs are met and not hope that they will go away if you blow them off long enough. Contact me with a real compensation offer. And I would rethink this review. But not happy!

Do not go through Allstate for Apple Products. Everything you have heard that is negative is valid. I have led customer service teams and call centers for years. Clearly, they make it as difficult as possible to file a claim. They are referencing info on my receipt (once I finally got to a human), but can't find my protection plan in the system. This is with the receipt with the plan ID# in their possession. I also had to state the 20-digit receipt number 4 times and enter it manually during one phone call.

I buy a lot of stuff on Walmart and I get the Allstate insurance with it. I filed a claim for my recliner but the website doesn’t help at all. You have to scroll down and try to find that item and try to put in the issue, you still have problems. There's no resolution. The website is not conducive at all. It took a while for the chair claim to be rectified when it shouldn't have been.
If they take my money, then it shouldn't have taken as long as it had taken, because I have lupus and I have flare-ups. That's why I use the chair. But even before I filed the claim for the chair, I put in two claims for handbags. And I still haven't even rectified just yet. And you have to send over the pictures and all of that. And then nothing happens. I don't like how the website is set up because it's not conducive to what we pay for.
When I called in, they kept redirecting me. So, when I called Walmart, there was only one person who gave me a phone number to actually call. And then I called. And then we started emailing and calling and it finally got a resolution. But it shouldn't have taken my son to get involved in trying to get the situation rectified.
They ended up having to send a refund because the chairs that they were sending me had nothing to do with the chair that I have now. They were sending similar chairs but didn't have the same dynamics as the chair that I had. And they wanted to send me the Wayfair, Amazon. And then when I picked out the same chair, it went over $339. I told them my son went to Walmart and found one. They sent me a Walmart card so we can get the chair. We received it quickly.

I always buy the Allstate warranty through Costco because I live in Hawaii close to saltwater and the electronics don't last as long as they're supposed to. Just a month ago, my TV I've had for a few years died. All the connections inside were corroded. So I went through Allstate and they replaced my TV.
The process took two weeks. I had to hunt down the old receipt. That was a huge pain to go all the way to Costco just to go find an old receipt. But once the process was started, I had a brand-new TV delivered to my front door. I have nothing bad to say about Allstate. They have a very happy customer.

I described the issue. Allstate tried resolving the issue with no success. Immediately sent me a prepaid shipping label the same day. I mailed it out on the following Tuesday and it arrived back to me on the next Monday. All fedex ground and paid for and fixed. Great service. Thank you very much.

I sent my PS5 to the authorized repair center because it had an issue, and customer service later told me that a technician needed to replace a part on the main board. However, when I got my console back, I realized they had actually replaced my original PS5 with a different, used unit—the serial number on the console was different from mine. What’s more concerning is that they didn’t transfer my external SSD to the replacement console. My external SSD, which contains important data, is now missing. I have contacted customer service three times about this issue, but I still haven’t received a solution or any update on the status of my SSD. I am frustrated because I was not informed that my console would be swapped instead of repaired, and now my external SSD is missing with no clear resolution from customer support. I need assistance in recovering my SSD or getting a satisfactory solution to this problem.

It was easy to file a claim with Allstate. I did it all online. The only thing was when they asked me for the name or the model number, there was no other option. There was an issue as far as the information that you wanted to look up and it wasn't something you could fill in. You had to look at the drop-down box to find that item. It says, “Is it made by this manufacturer?” and if it doesn't fall under that, then you have to figure out where to go. If you can't find what you're looking for, then it’s a little annoying. I found out I was in the wrong spot anyway, so it was a good thing they didn't have it. But it’s been very positive with Allstate. The protection plan itself is priced nicely and fortunately, when I had to do a claim, it was quick, easy, and painless.

I have the Bose Ultra earbuds and they're fantastic. I got the protection plan for them because of the price and it's a great product. I wanted to make sure if anything happens, then they’re insured, especially if they're in the ear and they pop out and get damaged by accident. But I didn't know I had to pay upfront with Allstate. We’ve had very good luck with Allstate. We purchased it for all our kitchen appliances. I had a little trouble getting somebody on the phone, but the online part was easy. We had a guy come out and fix our stove. On the microwave, they just wrote us a check. We've already told our friends that it went very smoothly. It was awesome.

I spoke with someone when I first did the initial claim. They sent me a notification that it was approved. They asked me if I wanted them to send money, but I said I wanted the actual battery charger. That's what I bought the plan for. They said they were gonna locate it and send it to me. I have not received it. It's been four weeks. I can see it online when I go to my protection plan. Evidently, they're having trouble finding it. Other than that, I had never run into any issues. I usually buy protection on my electronics and household goods because it extends the life of the product.

I purchased a handheld Shark vacuum from HSN with a protection plan, but ever since I received the item, it wasn't working properly. The battery would die immediately. The first time we charged it at home, we did everything correctly. But then a female voice kept saying, “Battery low, battery low.” I didn’t understand it and got scared, thinking someone had entered my house. I’m disabled, so I was really scared.
But every time we charged it, the battery would drain quickly. Within a day, it was dead again, causing missed words and disconnections. Last year, I didn’t have a chance to address it because I was in the hospital for over three and a half months, and I just didn’t have the energy to call. This year, things calmed down, and I finally contacted HSN. I called the protection plan, and they were very nice.
The first time I called, they said I was using the wrong battery, which I wasn’t. The second time I called, the representative was very nice and said, “Don’t worry, I’m issuing you a refund.” So I thanked her.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for my children’s headphones for school. The reason I got the protection plan is that, them being so young, things could happen.
To be honest, when I purchased a protection plan online, I didn’t read through the packet like I should have because it would have made the process a lot easier, and then I ended up losing it in the long run. But the claims process was really easy and quick when I got in touch with the representative on the chat. It was a very smooth transaction.
I would definitely recommend Allstate Protection Plans to a friend, especially if they have kids where things could possibly get damaged or lost.

If I could give zero or negative stars I would, I purchased a protection plan for both of my new tvs and it said clearly in the policy that both tvs were covered from any kind of damage, while trying to file a claim on one that was damaged and supposedly covered it was denied all 3 times that I tried. The first 2 online and the last one over the phone saying that my policy didn't cover that kind of damage when the policy in my email clearly says it did, do not purchase these plans, it is a waste of time and money, they will not cover anything they don't want to cover and will just just take your money.

We purchased a multifunction printer at Office Depot and they told us about Allstate. We haven't had an Epson printer before and just wanted to have some sort of protection on it. When we purchased the GE refrigerator over at Grand Appliances, the Allstate Protection Plan was what they offered us. The representative there walked us through how the plan works, and then we actually had to file a claim. We did it all by phone, and it worked out as expected.
They sent someone out to repair the refrigerator, and I haven't had other issues since then. Everything went good, though the only thing is that the price is expensive.

My sister got me an item and bought they insurance. I missed placed the receipt and found it months down the line then when I report something and try to be a stand up person they denied my claim after telling them I couldn’t find the receipt. They are terrible and need to go out of business so someone else can because what is the point of having insurance if they won’t allow you to use it.

It's been an ordeal. It's taken over 20 business days and no replacement. Got TV few days ago only to find out that it was all messed up, screen damage to no use. Yesterday I got an email that FedEx was going to pick up but tracking number provided was not valid and return label was on somebody else's name, a total confusion. Hope there is some compensation for such bad attention and process.

I bought a rocking chair from Walmart for the arrival of my grandson April 2025. The chair was used a few weeks upon his arrival 1 month ago. The rocking chair was showing signs of deflecting and began falling backwards. We filed a complaint, I received a denial back due to pre existing??? Then when I was talking to customer service they said, it was damage on arrival. I was in shock the audacity for somebody in Allstate to say something like that. There’s only one claim filed. No pre-existing claim was filed. There was no pre-existing. There was no damage on arrival. I am going back back-and-forth and they keep just sending denials like United Healthcare.. I am not giving up. I’m gonna go to the Better Business Bureau. There’s gonna be more reviews on this.
I cannot believe that these calls are supposed to be monitored and they’re still denying it. We have sent pictures with that chair leaning all the way back receipts. I paid for warranty & this is happening!! It is especially troubling that this company provided warranty refuses to offer any resolution to replace what I paid for. The warranty is still covered til 2026. The defect happened under this coverage & yet no valid explanation has been given only denial. This kind of service is unacceptable. I want my full refund for the protection plan I paid for.

I always purchase an Allstate protection plan when offered the opportunity at check out. It provides great added peace of mind to know that you have them standing behind your item. RIDICULOUS that you have to go through 3 or 4 different organizations to get warrant done on lift/recliner. After a number of days, finally a service rep (Danny) came out and told us that motors needed to be ordered (5-9-25) and would put a rush on the order. No one could find info on request for parts and/or when they will be in. Because of my wife's health issues, she needs to sleep in this chair. She has had to sleep setting up. Communication on with text (terrible). Could not talk with a person. This warranty and procedures are terrible! If I could rate service, it would be sooo far down you would need a shovel just to find it.

I have used the claim service 2 times and was very satisfied with their service and reimbursement. I started my claim on April 17th for a meta quest 3 and it is now May 14th and I am still waiting to have a replacement sent to me. I was told that my item could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. My item was sent back and received with no problem they looked it over and told me that they could not repair it and it needed to be replaced. I was told about 3 weeks ago that a replacement was being ordered and it would be sent out in 1-2 days. It is now 3 weeks later and when I contact them I am being told again oh my products will be ordered in 1 to 2 days over and over every time I have contacted them, which has been many times, within the past 3 weeks. Apparently my item has still not been ordered to be shipped out.
I don't understand what is taking so long just to order a product and send it out to me. They had no problem taking my money when I paid for the replacement plan, and no problem at all receiving my product but for some reason it's a huge issue to get my replacement sent back and I keep running around in circles getting the same answer or will let you know in one to two days once it's been ordered multiple times now. This is totally unfair when I have been waiting 3 weeks for an item that can very easily be ordered and sent out.
Every time I contact them I am getting the same exact answer and nobody can tell me anything different other than oh it will take one to two days to order. I don't understand why in 3 weeks it could not have been ordered and already sent back to me. I am very dissatisfied and very frustrated with the claims process considering on their website it says that they have a 5-day service guarantee. I'm really not understanding what is going on and I'm very, very upset since this could have been handled and taken care of much easier had I gone through a different company.. I attached a copy of the service guarantee so everyone can understand what my frustration is. This is not what I have been experiencing and if this is what they're guaranteeing I'm not understanding why a month later I'm still waiting for a product that I clearly should have had considering that our repair did not even need to be done and all I'm getting is a replacement.

I wanted the bad USB port on my laptop replaced. But they went more thorough in the repair than what I was expecting. I wasn’t warned that they were gonna be removing and reinstalling an operating system. Luckily, I had backed up most things. Perhaps that’s just the way of being safe and making sure that things are okay. All in all, I’m happy and it was as smooth as it could be.

Took one month for repair. I had to call several times for 2nd service after wrong parts were delivered. I was asked to find someone on my own to service it after 1st visit. One email from you said I missed my service call which I did not. Poor communication. Burden was on me to follow-up.

I purchased a portable air mattress and used it once. I stored it properly, but when I went to use it again, it wouldn’t hold air. It wasn't abused. It was used one time, and folded, deflated properly, and put back in the box. It kept leaking air, not a fast leak, but overnight it would deflate completely if someone slept on it.
I had lost my receipt. I first checked my Visa account to confirm the purchase and it showed the warranty, so I submitted that. They still wanted the actual receipt, so I contacted Walmart. I went in with my card, and they were able to produce the receipt. After I had a copy of the receipt, I submitted it and everything went well.
I was completely satisfied. I thought it might be a hassle without the receipt, but once I got it, everything went smoothly. In the future, if I purchase a warranty, I’ll make sure to keep the receipt.

I got this insurance, which honestly feels like a waste of money. I had to order the part myself because they couldn't even send it to me. It's just a detergent tray. I don't need someone coming to my house to install it. It simply slides in and out. They emailed me saying they didn’t have the part and I needed to schedule a technician to come out. I ordered the part and It cost $35. It's more hassle to deal with them. Now, I need to go back and see if I can get a refund.
This process is so aggravating. My time is worth more than $35. I’ve got a lot more going on in my life than to sit on the phone with Allstate, SquareTrade, or whatever they call themselves. I don’t have time to go back and forth with customer service asking for this or that. It’s a waste of my time.
With all the technology in appliances now, they’re always pushing extra coverage. It’s the same with buying a new car, they try to sell you an extended warranty because of all the electronic components, saying certain things won’t be covered if something happens. If it goes out, then that means it's poorly made. That’s my opinion, but it feels like everything is a racket these days.
I'm not impressed with this insurance, or the amount of work that I have to do. “Oh, you gotta take photos.” Fine. But then they tell me to call back. I'm not calling you to sit on the phone for another 15-20 minutes while reading a script. I get that people are doing their job, but the process needs to change when you get these stores selling Allstate Warranties for buying appliances. but if my washer or dryer broke right now, I’d have to go through their whole process because they don’t just take my word for it.
It’s supposed to be an easy process, but it’s not when I’ve got a million things to do. I don’t have time to be on the phone. I have work, I’m helping take care of my grandbabies, and I’m dealing with my own health issues. My body’s flared up, so I’m a little agitated. And then they expect me to keep running up and down the stairs? I don’t have time for that.
They emailed me saying that I had to call a service provider and handle all of this. I'm paying, and you're putting all the work back on me. Why don't you call the service provider and coordinate a schedule? You're putting the burden on me to go and find a service provider.
I need to go back and ask them for a refund, which will probably be pro-rated, and it’ll take a year to get it back. They take your money, but it takes forever to get back. Then they ask, “What are you requesting? How can we make it better?’ I don’t even want to talk to them like that. They charged me upfront. I paid around $300, maybe $500. But for that price, I could buy a new washing machine if mine went out.
I bought the warranty because that’s what they sold me. In the store, they made it seem like, “If you have any issues with your appliances, it’s an easy process to handle.” I bought a washer, dryer, and refrigerator, and I thought, Okay, I’ll get it since I don’t spend that much on appliances. I’m sure that’s what everyone thinks. “I spend so much on appliances, I might get insurance.” That’s what they play on. They also talk about technology, but I feel like, if it doesn’t work, it’s poor quality.

I bought a Samsung tablet A9+ for my son and decided, since it was for him, to buy insurance for it. I ordered Allstate online. I was able to navigate through the website easily. I clicked on it and added the plan, and I picked it up at the store.
I filed my claim online on my smartphone. I thought it was going to be hard, but after going through it, it was easy. I advised them that the tablet had a broken screen, and they sent me a return label. I printed that, got a box, stuffed it in with bubble wrap, put the label and took it to the shipping center. I didn’t have any issues with service. They replaced the screen and returned it pretty quickly.
It’s good to have the protection because I didn’t know it was going to happen. I always buy protection, but I never use it. This was the first time, so I was glad that I had it. It’s definitely affordable. It’s not that expensive.

I have over 15 protection plans through Walmart, so whenever I buy stuff, they always ask if I want a protection plan. I always add protection because kids mess up stuff, or anything can go wrong, especially with electronics. I also buy stuff ahead of time for gifts, or when I see a sale, so the extra protection helps if something goes wrong outside the store return window.
I’ve had to file a claim with Allstate a couple of times this year, and it was good. Sometimes, electronic stuff I buy from Walmart from these third parties goes wrong, like batteries die down or stop running properly. My last experience with Allstate was that they tried to offer me a replacement, but it was downsizing what I got. So, I told them that wouldn't work. They ended up letting me get what I wanted.
When I filed a claim, they answered their phone, stayed on the line, and helped me through the process. The only issue I had was that the link that they sent me to make another option wouldn't open clearly on my phone. So, it ended up pushing on the wrong link.
Allstate has been good overall. Some smaller things I haven’t returned or filed claims for because I don’t have the time or patience, like PS4 controllers or small ride-on toys. But for the bigger things that I know my kids use, I go ahead and use the protection. I’ve filed claims both electronically and verbally, and both ways work nicely. I've had to speak to a person because sometimes the manufacturer is not listed in the drop-down box, and they help me since they can see my plans because I'm registered.

I filled a claim, they tried to resolve the issue, but the post that was send was not the correct one for the model, so they refunded my purchase price so now I can but a new one. Customer service reps were outstanding and the service they provided was fast! I hope I don't have to use then again, but if I do I'm confident I'll receive excellent service again.

I filed a claim with Allstate for my 77-inch LG TV. I started doing it online but mostly I handled it over the phone after a few calls.
I talked to four or five different people during the claim process. Everyone was nice except one woman, who gave me a hard time because I said my name and she wouldn’t give me any information until I explained what my short name was. I’d already completed the claim with someone else, so having to redo it was a bit confusing and frustrating.
Everything was in my wife’s email because we bought the TV through Costco using her card. I picked out the TV and handled all that stuff. I had them switch it to my email. That caused a little confusion at first, but after that, the process was smooth and simple, and I was happy with it.

This was the second TV that I had purchased. I had a claim with Allstate in the past and they sent me a check. And I went and bought another TV just like the one I had. And now, this one went bad within a year and just blacked out. I tried to file a claim with Element TV and it went nowhere. I just got a whole lot of people talking to me and nothing happened. Updated on 05/14/2025: They called me after my first complaint. After that conversation, the outcome was to have someone come out and replace the mechanism in my chair. They told me I would receive a call to confirm an appointment and I did get a text. So I called and they tell me they are doing another inspection, not a repair. Now remember I was told “I would have someone come and replace the mechanism.” So now they want to inspect again before they do anything else. At this point, I have requested a refund for both the warranties I have purchased because they do not stand behind their product. As of this post, they are still insisting on another inspection.
Original Review: To start with setting the appointment is not easy but once set there is a video call that pictures are taken then someone comes out. Checks the item. Has to get approval from Square trade. Email comes to me telling me it has been approved then 3 days later saying it was denied. I call back and they say it was reapproved and I received a e-mail that I should get a email within 2 days when parts will be delivered. So far 4 days later I have not received anything about parts or anything else for that matter.

I have a couple of items I bought online, including a sweeper and a Dyson straightener, for which I purchased protection plans from Allstate. When I added them to my cart, a little pop-up came up about the warranty. The items were expensive, so I wanted to make sure they were covered. I’ve filed claims before and have had good luck. They’ve taken care of it within a week or two. One item wasn’t replaced because they couldn’t find it, so they sent me cash for it. I also sent the sweeper to be checked, and they said they cleaned it out. I wasn’t really sure they did because it didn’t look like it was cleaned out or anything. I wasn’t really happy with that. Right now, it seems to be working, but it didn’t look like they did anything.
I usually file claims online because it’s hard to find a phone number. One time, I was able to, but it took me a while to dig up a number. It’s not very easy to call. Filing a claim is easy—click this, click that—and they get back in touch right away.
Overall, I do the warranties and have had no issue getting help for them. I’m okay with Allstate and would recommend them. For the price, I paid $25 for three years of coverage. It could be a little lower, but it’s not unreasonable.

We purchased an Allstate protection plan for our refrigerator, and when the icemaker quit working, filing the claim was actually fairly easy. We’d never done it before, but it was not difficult.
I initially filed the claim online, and then they said I had to call them. They had me try a few things to see if I could resolve it, but when that didn’t work, I called back and told them it did not fix it. They told me to contact somebody who could fix it, and as long as the repair was less than the purchase price, they would pay for it. After that, we contacted somebody local, submitted the bill once it was fixed, and they were able to pay for it with no problem. That part was super easy.

It’s a Huffy Torex ride-on toy, and it was recalled because it caught on fire and several children had gotten burnt.

I purchased Allstate for all the electronics in my house, and the last thing I wanted to use it for was a LG TV. I put in the claim on Sunday, and the only thing I didn’t like is I did not get a response from the claim until four days later. That was ridiculous.
When I talked to the person over the phone, they told me that I had to start over. I told them I was not going to do that and I needed to speak to a supervisor. She then came back and assisted me, suggesting that I turn off my TV. But, I already had it unplugged for the whole week that it has been off. And then, I plugged it back in and it started working. So, I didn’t end up making the claim all the way through. Allstate is bundled in with my home warranty, and the price is good.

I easily submitted my warranty claim for my malfunctioning trail camera thru the link in my protection plan email. I was given the option of a credit of my purchase price to a Walmart e-gift card or replacement with a comparable item. I chose replacement. I was given 3 options and unfortunately none of them met the same specifications of the model I was trying to replace, so I was given the e-gift card option again. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the issuing of the e-gift card, but I received a check in the mail instead within a few days. I am very happy with the process and have bought a new trail camera, along with another protection plan.

I have never had such a hard time filing a claim. No follow up and was given the run around for days on end. All correspondence was via email and it felt like an automated experience. So dissatisfied and would never recommend Allstate ever again. The level of professionalism was less than excellent. The only response I would get is that I would hear something within 1 business day and than another. Was less than satisfied and felt like I was a bother to them. Famous Tate was the only shining star. Famous Tate was the only reason my issue was resolved.

Allstate's website sucks. Their app sucks. I can't file a claim. They're requesting that I have the serial number to a device that I can't even power on so I can file a claim and that's ridiculous. So, I'm not satisfied with the service that I'm paying for to have covered on my device. I'm stuck with a protection plan that I can't even file a claim on. I've submitted all the receipts and everything and that's not good enough. I still have no resolution for the claim that I'm still trying to file, even though they have taken the information that I was required to submit and I submitted it successfully and they still can't do anything. So, I'm not pleased and I'm not satisfied with the service that I've gotten or the coverage that I have.

I contacted my Allstate protection plan about a problem that I had will the adjustment of the baby seat. They took care of me right away. I recommend Allstate protection plan to all. The site was easy to navigate and I was kept informed of the steps that they were taking to resolve my issue.

Dishwasher was purchased in March, 2024. In Nov 2024 it was repaired under manufacturer warranty. Drain was the replaced. In April 2025, dishwasher had same issue. No longer under manufacturer warranty but under extended warranty as it was one year and one month old. I reported it and requested repairman. Woman I talked to was able to clear drain remotely, but because of smell from drain I requested drain be replaced. Part was sent to me. Your repairman came one week ago today, took all the screws out but could not remove dishwasher. He said he would get someone to help him. Then I was sent email saying I had to get it out myself. He also took replacement part with him. I have made multiple calls to you and have been sent same email refusing to help me. Meanwhile, my dishwasher is unusable and parts were left on my kitchen counter. I purchased extended warranty when I bought this dishwasher and it is your responsibility to repair or replace it. At this point, repairing is probably not an option.

Updated on 5/7/2025: I filed a complaint about the service I was receiving for both my dryer and wall oven repair last week. I received a call and was told my complaints were being investigated and I am to receive $195 to reimburse the cost of the protection plan for my troubles. The invoice for moving my dryer unnecessarily was $150. The dryer was successfully serviced this week. But I am still trying to get a technician to repair my wall oven. A second appointment was scheduled for tomorrow with a technician who understood the wall oven has to be removed from the wall. I was advised by Allstate/Square Space to check with him to be sure he could do it. I immediately tried to make that call yesterday after being advised to do so and got a recording saying to leave my name - and then a message that the mailbox was full.
It took several calls today to get through and to have the technician tell me he can't do it. When I said my husband could help remove the oven he said that would not work and at any rate he was not going to be in Baltimore tomorrow (this is after I have received confirmation of the appointment and organized our schedules to be here). So - if I had paid someone to take the oven out of the wall to be ready for him tomorrow he would not have shown up and I would have an oven sitting in the middle of my kitchen for days until he could come. He said he was calling Allstate to advise of this and to have them re-assign someone to the case.
I called Allstate (again) and the customer service person on the phone ended up telling me he can't schedule anything now - all he can do is expedite my complaint and turn it over to another team to schedule the appointment. So after many calls over 2 weeks I don't even have an appointment at this point. The customer service person who called yesterday had assured me that my case had reached the highest level and she was sure things would be sorted out. Also she sent an email and said if I reply to that email she would take care of any further issues right away. I wrote her shortly after she and I spoke yesterday to let her know I was having trouble getting in touch with the company that was to repair the oven and have heard nothing back more than 24 hours later.
Original review: I remodeled a condo and purchased a new double wall oven, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. For all appliances I purchesed the extended warranties - which were through Allstate. My experience with repairs has been a nightmare. The washer and dryer are stacked and in a closet. I was told I had to have them out of the closet to provide access to the back for the service person to be able to provide service. I paid two men to take the unit out the morning of the appointment, which had been confirmed the day before. I waited all day and around 3pm someone called and said I was "next" on his call list. He called again around 3:30 and said he was looking for parking. I told him numerous places he could park.
He then admitted he was 10 minutes away and as I was talking to him he hung up. He never called back. I called Allstate and was told they were "sorry." I had to have the washer/dryer moved back (at my expense) because they were blocking my hallway. The next day I spent at least 2 hours calling both Allstate and the contracted company, Home Technology Solutions, to submit official complaints and to figure out a way forward. I was connected by text only to Home Technology. They assured me that the next person assigned would take care of taking the unit out of the closet. I then received an email that a different contractor was assigned the dryer. I contacted that company and they had no idea the unit was in a closet and said they cannot take it out.
A different company (also contracted by Allstate) is supposed to fix my wall oven, which has had problems since purchase. During the original warranty an Allstate technician came out and said it "was fine" and did very little to try to diagnose the problem. Since then I had an electrician look at it to confirm that it was not an electrical issue and to also document that the temperature fluctuates in the oven. I am now trying to get it repaired. A technician came out for the oven and a small problem with my refrigerator. He said a part was needed for the oven and that when he came back to fix it the oven would have to come out of the wall. He said they "could do it" but would prefer me too. I indicated I couldn't.
When the appointment for the next visit was sent, I called to confirm it. I am now told they don't have the manpower to take the oven out of the wall and suggested I call Allstate and explain to them what is happening. I have tried and tried to get through and it is virtually impossible. I think Allstate and their contractors are just trying to exhaust customers so that ultimately they hire private technicians to fix their appliances.

Got protection for a fishing rod purchased at Walmart. The rod broke after a year and half while fishing, obviously a manufacturing defect (weak spot under eyelet). Allstate refused to honor the coverage stating "the damage is not covered under your plan". So it's basically a scam where you pay them and then they say that whatever damage you have is not covered.

Worst experience I’ve ever had and not worth the monthly. I’ve attempted two separate claim for a product I insured over 12 months apart for unrelated issues. They deny every claim regardless of timing or reason. I will never use this service again in the future.

I am having a HORRIBLE experience with All State square trade protection plan purchased on a Home Depot appliance. The red tape to talk to anyone takes forever, they keep sending the wrong parts or wrong model number for my dishwasher repair. It has been TWENTY TWO days since my dishwasher broke and they still have not repaired it. I WILL NEVER purchase a major appliance from Homedepot or you the protection plan again.
Update: day TWENTY FOUR of my dishwasher being broken. I have since talked to a customer service about my abysmal experience. I was promised a resolution in one business day. It has since been two business days and I’ve heard nothing. I’m not at all surprised due to the lack of urgency and follow through this company continues to demonstrate.

Bought the chair for $569.99 and the warranty for 69.99 total cost with tax $681.58. Made a claim to Allstate twice. 1st was denied because as they said I didn't bought enough warranty (The one I got covered from $300 to $799.99. The chair price was $569.99.), they asked me to resubmit when I brought prove that the warranty I bought was more than enough. Then was denied because "loss of resiliency" is not covered and sent me to read the contract. Will never get another one of the Shaquille O'Neal's chairs nor the worthless extended warranty.

Getting a warranty from Allstate was worth it. I filed a claim for a television because you could barely hear any sound. It was fuzzy, and crackly, it was really horrible. The claim process took just a few days and went smoothly. We asked for a warranty repair or replacement, and they sent a new television that is beautiful and works great. We’re happy with it.

I got a protection plan for the new game that came out for my grandson. It didn't work on his Xbox. And it kicked him out and said he has to download it. And he ended up going to buy a new Xbox from Walmart. And then he had to download it from the company rather than buy another one from Walmart because it wouldn't work.
I tried to get ahold of the vendor but heard nothing back from them. And I didn't call Allstate back because I thought it was over with. I got frustrated with the whole thing after talking to people three or four times.

I got an Allstate Protection Plan for my coffee machine. It wasn’t very expensive. I filed a claim once on the phone and it was very easy. The reps were very courteous. He was very friendly and he practically did everything. I like how efficient he was. I recommend my friends to buy the insurance. In fact, I made my friend buy one yesterday.
Their price is was very reasonable. Their sales and marketing it’s helpful but it would be good if it would say the name of the company because I didn't know it was Allstate until I was going to file the claim.

When I bought my laptop from Walmart, it had an option whether I wanted to get a warranty through Allstate. It was good because if I had not had it, I would have been spending out of my money.
I contacted them by phone and sent back the computer because the number keys were malfunctioning. They fixed it. I just got it back, and I’ve been charging it. I would say they are good. They solved the problem that I was going through.

My glasses became scratched and frames got bent. Allstate charged me a deductible of 25 dollars and I was able to purchase new glasses. Was easy to fill out the forms and they responded quickly. Dealing with Allstate Protection Plan today was an exercise in extreme patience, to say the least. I spent a staggering seven hours on the phone – from 9 am to 4 pm – trying to get a resolution for my nine-year-old son's Meta Oculus Quest 2. After what felt like an eternity, I was finally told that a refund would be issued. Relief washed over me, thinking the ordeal was over. However, that relief was short-lived. I was then transferred to yet another representative, who informed me that instead of a straightforward refund, I would now have to wait an additional 6 to 10 business days.
To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The initial promise of a refund, only to be met with further delays and bureaucratic hurdles, is incredibly frustrating. When dealing with insurance, especially concerning a child's item, a swift and clear resolution is expected and appreciated. This experience with Allstate Protection Plans has been anything but. The excessive phone time and the subsequent backtracking on the refund timeline have left me feeling thoroughly inconvenienced and frankly, quite annoyed.

They did cover our claim but be aware of the fine print. 2-3 days applies more to ordering the replacement parts and not having it usable again. The first parts took about a week to arrive and then they were completely wrong parts. When the correct parts arrived 2 weeks later our dishwasher was not fixable. It was at this time that we found out that they don’t replace your actual product, they refund what you spent on your product.
We bought our dishwasher on sale and had a sign up bonus for a credit card. They sent us a gift card for the discounted price. I understand not reimbursing the sale price but the credit card promotional discount seems shady to me. They are not overly helpful on the phone and I was told different things by different people. Some thought I would get the full reimbursement and others didn’t. The customer service is seriously lacking and communication is poor. I am not sure I will use them again. There was no consideration of the time it took to get to this point or the miscommunications.

I use to use Allstate insurance for my automobile, also for items that I buy at Walmart and other retail store. They are not reliable on all their policies, claims take weeks and they make your claim last forever, beside the running around calling them with no resolution, I escalate my case, with no positive resolution. After they make you wait asking the same questions over on over, I got feed up, I'm no longer use their service at all, is a waste of time. Don't insurance nothing with Allstate, believe me you will regret it. Follow this advice as a consumer. Thanks everyone for reading my review.

Bought a protection plan from Home Depot who use Allstate Square Trade. For my microwave purchase. 2 yrs later microwave stopped working and notified square trade. I was told the microwave Whirlpool model has been discontinued and there is no serviceman in my area, so I asked for a refund. I was told I could only get a home depot gift card instead of a refund. I do not want to purchase a microwave from home depot again. This is an unfair practice.

This was an incredibly horrible experience. I had a faulty hard drive, within the replacement period, and was looking to have it replaced under the warranty. They provided a myriad of different reasons they couldn't give the replacement, ranging from "a similar device is not available" to "it's not within your coverage limit". There is no coverage limit on the warranty I had. They were just choosing the lowest value possible for the claim. When I pointed this out, they shared the "terms" they were following which did not match the terms & conditions I initially received. Overall it took an online claim and 3 phone calls to complete the warranty process, only to get a dollar amount which does not cover the replacement. I do not recommend anyone get this warranty.

When I initiated a claim, I did it online because that’s the only way you can do it, the way I understood it. Then someone from another company reached out to schedule the service, verify what was wrong, the part, the serial number, the model number, and all that stuff.

All the rest of transaction done through very easy, filling out claim form, provide pictures which uploaded via claim form. Notified via email in a few days that my claim was honored, money would be sent in the form of a gift card at Amazon. l thought payment should have been a choice of direct check or Amazon gift card at Amazon. Nevertheless with the small difference of $13.68 in reimbursement between what paid for chair and reimbursement amount and the simplicity of claim forms and short time took to get my reimbursement amount rates the whole transaction a 5 star. I will certainly have how easy and pleasant the whole claim transaction took when l consider future purchases and insuring them with Allstate.

We called the mobile carrier for support. They determined the problem could not be resolved and told us to file a claim with Allstate. The claim was approved immediately. A new replacement phone was shipped quickly. A return label was provided to ship damaged phone back. The entire process went smoothly. The replacement phone was an upgrade.

I probably used Allstate Protection Plans once or twice, and I can’t remember what item I used it for this time. I just used one for my brother, and he had Allstate insurance. And that was on some headphones. So, I’m not sure if it was that or if it was something else. But my overall experience with Allstate was good. I don’t have any complaints.

We turned my son’s TV on, and we could hear it, but we couldn't see anything. It's hanging on a wall in a bracket. Not one of those brackets that are easy to take off. So it's not like it fell. Allstate had us do a video and show that there were no cracks on it.
And then they said, normally, they'll get a repair person to come out here. But because it wasn't a very expensive TV, they decided to replace it after a couple videos, pictures and anything that they asked for. We had the replacement within three days, even if he said it would take two weeks.
I'm glad that I have Allstate Protection especially for anything over $200 plus. I don't even think this TV was that much but the protection plan was affordable. The agent that I worked with who finished all this up for me was fantastic.

There’s nothing in the world like having that just in case protection. Everything went smoothly just as advertised and check in the mail meant it was in the mail. I received it within five days. 100% Will recommended to anybody. So happy I bought the protection plan. What a hassle it would’ve been had I not. Allstate is the best.

It took about two calls to get a resolution when I submitted a claim for my television. It just powered off and wouldn’t turn on. It was hooked up to a circuit breaker and I don’t know why it zapped out and wouldn’t turn back on.
I had to call Allstate once and submit a bunch of paperwork and pictures, but I didn’t hear anything back. So I had to call again and start the process over. The second time, it all went through.
I feel like they did the best they could with the tools and options they were given to assist me. They ended up sending another television, but it was slightly less quality.

I had ordered a phone from HSN that got put in the wash with the sheets. I called HSN because I couldn’t turn it on or do anything, and they said to file with Allstate. They gave me the order number and other details. Online, where I filed for stuff, it seemed user-friendly.
I called Allstate to find out about them replacing it. Later, I got an email that said they are working to source a replacement and that it would take two to three business days once they found it. I may reach out to them now because it’s been more than two weeks and nobody's gotten back with me. I don't have anything, so that’s not very good.

It was actually really easy to submit the claim to Allstate Protection Plan. They don’t have the item in stock, so they’re going to give me a check or a gift card, and I prefer the check, and they said they’re going to reimburse my money in two days.
However, I did have to search for information through the internet and the website because nobody called me back. Nobody asked me anything, and I have to send an email every time. The item isn't working anymore. The same thing happened with one I bought last year, and now this second one I bought with my insurance doesn't work either. I don't know why or what happened. I actually have both of them in my house because I like the item, but I don't know what's going on, it's just not working anymore.

We got the protection plan for an Xbox remote. And my experience with Allstate was poor. They were unable to get the remote replaced at all. Nobody would replace it, even Walmart. Walmart would say that we had to go through Allstate, and Allstate would say that we had to go through Walmart. We were just given the runaround.

The pricing for the Allstate Protection Plan was actually pretty good, so I got it when it was offered to me for a printer I bought. Eventually, the printer had some type of issue where it wasn’t connecting to the Wi-Fi. Epson told me it was already out of the manufacturer’s warranty, so that’s when I contacted the insurance.
At first, they offered for me to take it to a service and pay out of pocket, but the representative was able to speak to a supervisor and they were supposed to send out a check instead. However, I never received the check, so I had to contact them again to let them know. They’re supposed to be looking into sending out another one now, but I still haven't received it.

I bought the Beat Solo 4s headphones and got the protection plan for it. I usually don’t get it, but I’m glad that I got it this time because the headphones stopped working a couple days after. So, I filed a claim for it online, which wasn’t hard. It was the easiest thing I’ve ever done in my life. And then it took maybe a day for them to get back to me and let me know that they would be able to send me a new headphones if mine weren’t able to be fixed.
And so, I had to send them in so they could review them and see if they were able to fix them themselves before I would get a new pair. And they did let me know that they were beyond repair, so I had just got a new pair that following week. So, Allstate Protection Plans was good.

I purchased an Allstate plan for a dishwasher, refrigerator, and and oven stove. My most recent claim was for the oven, which broke. I had a very mixed experience since the person I filed the claim with filed the claim under the wrong appliance. So that screwed everything up. I didn't get the service date and I had to cancel and reschedule, so my oven was out of commission for a longer time. The part also wasn't ordered. And when the part was ordered, they sent the wrong part. It was not a great experience.

We weren't able to use the Allstate warranty for the TV because we still have the manufacturer's warranty. Also, the closest place was three to four hours away. It was useless to get it for the TV. So I paid all that money and thought I was safe with the warranty, but it wasn't. They're supposed to be coming out to fix the recliner, so I'll have to see about that. Allstate is not really worth it.

I got the Allstate protection plan for a couch. They told me about it at the location, but I did it online. When I had to file a claim, it went great. I had to go online and then file it, and then everything was done in email. The store that we have purchased the couch from went out of business so there wasn't any more. Allstate tried to find some in a different state, but they said they couldn't. They gave a check of almost the amount of the couch. Everything was handled properly and fast.

I really, really like the service from Allstate Protection Plans. I had no issues with it at all. My item didn’t power on and it didn’t work at all, so I submitted the claim online. The process was very fast and I didn’t have any problems.
They sent me a replacement, and even though it wasn't the exact same one, they gave me three different options to choose from and I picked the one I like.

The plan is pretty easy to use but you need to be aware that the plan you purchase is only worth the product price and does not include the taxes. So if the item is $200 before taxes your replacement cannot exceed $200 to include taxes and shipping fees. It also made me trying to find a comparable replacement difficult. However, since the replacements choices didn't have the same specifications I was able to get an e-gift card. Now the only reason I got the gift card was because they were trying to replace my office chair with chairs that were half the price and I was not having that. They will not just offer you a gift card.

I purchased a Massage Mat from Walmart and the item was defective. When I purchased the item I placed a 2 year warranty on it. I had to return the item because it wasn't functioning properly. Because it was after 90 days I had to file a claim. The claim didn't take long to process. Customer service was very friendly and handled my claim in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the outcome.

So it took hours to get through to claims. Yes, filling with them though costco was easy, especially where I had my receipt. But first call after all the prompts and chat through chat, 2 plus hours later chat rep said I had to call a number. The number she gave me was where I ended up with the chat. Oh she said they closed 1/2 hour ago.

I brought a printer 2023 I may have used it few times not many most of my printing is done at work so the day my printer stop was because of a paper jam I remove the jam place brand new ink in to discover a plastic piece kept the from going across I reported my claim but still nothing yet I explained I wanted printer that uses the same ink I just purchased that hadn't been used or if they would fix mine it's something small but yet no answer yet . I just don't have to buy more ink when I just bought new ink from Amazon I don't have money to throw away. Still no answer.

I bought an LG TV from Costco for a significant price and added five year Protection from Allstate for $100. The sound on the TV started having issues, and I found the policy and called and they told me to proceed to get a Tv Repairman and submit the receipt and I would be reimbursed. And that’s exactly what I did and they reimbursed without question and very promptly. Highly satisfied with Allstate insurance.

I had my glasses on my face and looked down, and they fell. One of the lenses got shattered and cracked. It’s been about a month now and I still haven't received my glasses back, so I’ve actually been wearing sunglasses indoors. I wish Allstate Protection would have expedited things so I could see again.
Submitting the claim online was very simple, and I even got a phone call from one of the reps afterward. They did collect my money and I paid whatever fee they asked for, but I haven't gotten my glasses fixed since then. Everything went smooth until now, but I haven't heard anything and I’m still waiting on them.

The last claim I did with Allstate was for a chainsaw. Everything was online. It went perfectly. I picked categories for the chainsaw, and there weren’t any problems with the refund.
They sent me a Walmart gift card because there was no way for me to take the chainsaw in to get it repaired. I’m not sure if it was the same amount because the chainsaw was from two years ago, and I wasn’t sure how much it was.

It took some length of time about 4 months to finalize my claim. I have never made a claim on an appliance so I have no frame of reference. It seemed like I was put off a lot but that may be the way these things go. But eventually my claim was paid and now I have to buy a new refrigerator. My biggest irritation was I couldn't get someone to fix my fridge. But after all the aggravation I most certainly purchase another Square Trade insurance. All State is a great company!

They don't tell you that the Allstate warranty kicks in after the manufacturer warranty. It kicks in after whatever the manufacturer has which in my case is a year. So I bought the Allstate insurance FOR NOTHING. Allstate completely doesn't help and directs you to whoever is the manufacturer, so what's the point in buying it?? I may not even have the item in a year.

The Allstate protection plan has created an experience that results in an outcome that is not in good faith. The executed warranty plan now offers "comparable features only". Yet, their contract states to replace my product with comparable features AND functionality to the original item. They are offering to replace a bad "outdoor" TV with indoor tv models (as comparable features only). They have outdoor replacement models available but somehow that's an 'upgrade function'? Even though that's what I purchased and paid a warranty for (in good faith)!!

West Elm uses a third party company for their protection plans. The company they use is Allstate Protection Plan/SquareTrade. I purchased a piece of furniture on April 9th. Paid $2081 that included $209 for the Extended Warranty. I called to cancel the order on April 10th, West Elm said they will refund and cancel the shipment, but I would have to call Allstate to cancel the warranty before they can refund me. Odd, but ok.
Over a week later of daily calls, and emails and Allstate saying "they cannot find my plan" I realized I was getting the script talk and refused to deal with these people anymore. The sofa was never delivered, a plan was never found, and I'm out $2081.... Not Today,!!! I canceled everything with my American Express and now they can figure it out themselves. Save yourself the runaround never use AllstateProtectionPlan.com

When I first submitted a claim I asked for replacement metal post and top rails for my pool, because of rusting that occurred. They were available in a kit for just a little while on a website, however they weren’t available very long as I found out. The only other option was a was a website that sold just one post or top rail not the kit. No local stores sold them either. After reporting this back to SquareTrade, they reviewed my information and gave me a full replacement refund just like they said they would do. They honored the warranty.
