I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for my washer. Recently, the washer stopped working. When I submitted a claim for it, it was very pleasant. They came out and had the right parts with them, because they knew what the problem was and fixed it right away. It was just a great experience overall with Allstate. They were very easy to work with and great workers came over, as well.

It's been over 30 days approved but no reply or replacement product. I'm just concerned and don't know who to talk. I did get a response saying my claim was approved and that's great news but how long should it take to receive a product after filing a claim. Does Allstate really stand by their investment with customers?

Our controller stopped charging, so I filed a claim with Allstate, but it hasn't been replaced. They said they were gonna send out a new link. But I haven't seen it. I've had good luck with them in the past, but this one is not a good experience.

We bought a Kenmore Elite Vacuum. Getting the warranty claim completed was very difficult. I had several phone calls. I was not advised of the status of the claim until day 6 or 7. The supervisor I spoke with was very terse and rude. She gave me 2 minutes to cover the issues I was having with the warranty claim. After the claim was approved, I received an email from Square Trade that said I was getting a Wal-Mart gift card. I called in to say this was not acceptable and I wanted a check to be issued to me. I was told that I had already accepted the Wal-Mart gift card. This was not a true statement. I asked for proof or evidence of my acceptance. None was provided.

Getting Allstate Protection Plans is a great deal. A lot of people aren't interested in getting warranties. But when it comes to certain types of electronic equipment or appliances, they should get it. I hardly place a call. I almost always do it online. It's easy. Also, the turnaround time is quick. Allstate had somebody come out to attempt to fix the washer. It was still under warranty. They sent someone out twice, but they weren't able to fix it the right way. So, they gave me the money to go out to buy another one. That's fantastic.
I might have bought at least nine different plans from Allstate over my lifetime. I've been in enough situations that I know it's worth it. It may not seem like it at first and it's not always I use it for everything that I buy. But for the things that have broken, it has been worth it. If I had to buy a new washer, they gave me the money for it. I didn't have to buy it out of my pocket. Between $50 and $100, that was worth it.

The extended warranty was pretty handy. When the heater I had quit, I filed a claim with Allstate and they did real good. It was a pretty easy process.

Filed a claim for my item that had the protection plan. I had already contacted the manufacturer to file a claim through them but manufacturer's warranty had expired. The website is not user friendly and when you contact them directly they are not helpful. Once I was finally able to get through to someone that could help me complete the process. They assured me that everything was completed. Followed up after 2 weeks to be informed that pictures of the items were REQUIRED, despite this not being listed in the terms and conditions or policy guidelines. Asked to speak to a manager and they were of no assistance. After 2 months of sending all "required" information my claims issue has still not been resolved. They have done everything possible to not fully process my claim. At this point I feel as this is a scam and do not recommend to anyone.

I've purchased a few things, mainly electronics, over the years that I had Allstate's protection plan on. The last items were on a dehumidifier and some dishwasher parts. Submitting claims is easy although it's a little weird at times. It was off at the beginning, but the customer service rep I had took care of everything for me. She knocked it out of the park and it was seven days while everything was approved.

I've had to file a few claims with Allstate. The product stopped working. It's been easy to file a claim, but they can provide better customer service. A lot of them just seem very nonchalant about helping you. I had a washing machine that I went through several repairs with, and finally, they just went on and replaced it. I don't know how many times they sent somebody out here. It was very inconvenient. But the protection plan is always good to have.

Our LG TV has a problem with the volume fluctuating. It will go down then up. I called Costco and after all of my info was taken, I was transferred to Allstate. My information was taken and a claim was made. I was told to call back when it was actually happening. I called back 67 minutes later and was told I needed to record the volume problem and send it to them. That was too much. I told her NO I was not recording for maybe an hour or more to record the problem. I have a service call set up in 9 days (my choice). We will see what happens.

It was a very easy process to file a claim. They almost immediately accepted my claim and told me they would mail a check. There were no arguments or doubt if they should cover it. It was just covered and taken care of in a very timely manner.

Our claim was initiated on December 29th. Now, almost four weeks later, and after four visits by the technician, we have one of the two ice makers working. The second ice maker was replaced on Tuesday January 20th, and within four hours of the technician leaving, not only did the ice maker stop working, but now we cannot even get water. The company is claiming that this is a new problem, and unrelated to the repair.

They were very professional. I got a to talk with a real person with almost zero wait time. They helped me get my Samsung tv replaced. I would only get a television with an Allstate Protection Plans at Costco.

I would leave zero stars if that was an option. When I bought the plan I was told all repairs would be made within 2-3 days. A tech did come out a week and a half after I called, however he couldn’t do anything because Allstate never ordered the required parts. He said I would have to call them, gave them order and get him back out. When I called Allstate, they initially blamed the tech, then said they would have to research the issue which would take 1-2 days. 2 days later - nothing. I called again and they gave me the same research line. I asked to speak to a manager and got hung up on 3x in a row.
After another 2 weeks of the same BS conversations they finally have another tech scheduled to come out. However, the tech is supposed to be out in 2 days and my status still shows they haven’t ordered the parts. When I called today they said the parts were back ordered and they would let me know when they order them. When I mentioned their 2-3 day service guarantee they said they would mail me a $50 check for the inconvenience. Really? I haven’t had a stove/oven for 3 weeks. $50 doesn’t make us for the food I had to throw away as I don’t have a means to cook it, or for the $ I’ve had to spend eating out. This isn’t is insane. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A WARRANTY.

I bought an extended warranty on my vacuum cleaner from these people. It quit after 8 months. So nice they were on the phone. They did not know what was wrong with it, but sent a part that took 3 weeks to get here. It did not solve the problem. When I tried to call back, the number would not work. They somehow ghosted me. In summation, I paid $400 for a vacuum for only 8 months. THEY SUCK!!!

I made the mistake of buying a SquareTrade extended warranty from Costco. When the LED lamp in my refrigerator died, I called Squaretrade to submit a claim. At first, it was a straightforward process of submitting a description of the problem, providing serial number and pictures. So far so good. Then I had to speak to a "specialist" more than once. The call center appears to be in India and some of the agents barely speak English.
Squaretrade scheduled an appointment for 8:00 AM the following week. They neglected to tell me it was 8:00 AM PST (I live on the East Coast). The repair person was from a construction company 90 minutes away from my home. How a person from a construction company is qualified to perform a repair on a major appliance is beyond me. Anyway, he never showed up, so I ended up performing the repair myself. The only positive thing about this experience is Squaretrade did send the required part, and it was OEM, not a cheap knockoff. Lesson learned, get your extended warranty from the manufacturer, not Squaretrade.

We have a broken dishwasher and have been calling and writing Allstate for 3 weeks and they aren’t helping us at all. They keep saying someone will contact us within 24 hours and nobody ever calls or emails us. Costco has tried to set up an appointment for repair and same story. No one calls or does anything. I would like all the money I have paid them for the coverage. I DEFINITELY NOT BUY THIS AGAIN!!!!

A waste of time and money if you purchase a protection plan with Allstate and need customer service. Good luck. I purchased a protection policy for a Pottery Barn carpet I ended up returning. I was not efficient costumer service chatting with a bot and/or AI when things are not being resolved because they keep repeating the same responses. With no contact number provided at all it is very difficult for resolution. I'd think twice about a purchase with Allstate.

Thus far I am happy with the process. Sadly it took me a while to figure out that I should have expecting and looking for an email from Allstate not Walmart. I have since located the email requiring my signature on the affidavit required in order to release my long awaited refund. I anticipate that my continued contentment can only be topped by actually receiving my refund in a timely manner.

Submitting the claim with Allstate Protection Plans for my earphones was easy. I spoke with someone from customer service because it was in the instructions. If it wasn't in the instructions, I wouldn't have had to call anybody. Allstate replaced the earphones. They were shipped in three days.

An Allstate protection plan was offered with our NC portable vacuum purchase through Walmart. After eight months, the vacuum quit working wherein the power button was trying to give out. I couldn't change anything and it wouldn't shut off. I submitted a claim and it was very easy. The customer service rep I dealt with was very polite and user-friendly as far as getting information and knowing the status on everything. The replacement was nice. Overall, it was outstanding. I definitely learned my lesson on protection plans a long time ago, and I would recommend Allstate. It's worth the money and they have great customer service.

At the beginning, it was difficult to file a claim. I'm not computer-savvy, so I had to have my daughter help me out. Allstate claimed they fixed one of my children's headphones, and they sent it back, but it's still not working. They fixed the right side with a part and put it back together, but we don't hear any music coming out of that side. The gentleman told me that it was approved for me to send it back, but I never got the label for me to do it. I called the lady yesterday, and she told me to give her two days to call them back because their system was not up. But so far, I'm very pleased with Allstate. I would recommend them to a friend.

Having a protection plan is extremely. I wanted to warrant my glasses from scratches and damage and an Allstate protection plan was offered through Sam's, the place I bought the glasses through. When my lens were scratched and I couldn't see out of them, I submitted a claim. It was extremely easy, but Sam's also assisted me, which was helpful.

When we purchased our washer and dryer, the sales person highly recommended the protection plan. We had an issue with our dryer. We had somebody come out and it was just that the vent was closed, not a mechanical problem. The tech reopened it and it was fine. But while he was at the house, I mentioned to him that the lid on the washer made a clicking sound. He said, “Report it and I'll come back and fix it,” which I did. Allstate sent the part, and he replaced the lid. We were pleased with everything from start to finish. If I have to buy another protection plan somewhere, it will be Allstate. I highly recommend them. They did everything within a great amount of time, and everything was taken care of.

I have Allstate for my Samsung washer and dryer combo, sectional, couch, for my $3,000 Samsung refrigerator that has all the bells and whistles. I always purchase the extended warranty for anything that I buy from Nebraska Furniture. My couch is a year and three months old, and it's collapsing in two different areas. The chaise area is completely concave, and Allstate hasn't fixed it yet.
Allstate said they will send somebody out between this time and this time. The first time, they changed the schedule on me. When they change the schedule, they give you a link to "view" the new scheduled but you can't click it. So, I sat at home all day on Saturday just hoping they show up. Dan did show up. He thought there was a bunch of springs that might have come undone inside on the base area. Also, he said he will order a new chaise cushion because it was bowed in. He was very nice and made me feel like he was going to get something done. But that's it. I never got the parts.
A new tech came out a couple weeks later, this last Saturday when I sat there all day again. I received an email saying that I'll receive parts, and not to open them. The technician has to open them. But I have not received any. The tech came and said he didn't have any parts and so, he couldn't do anything. Somebody called a couple of days before he came and said the parts should be here. I don't know what's going on. That was weeks ago. I don't know why Allstate sent the other tech out if they weren't ready. I lost two Saturdays now, and I still have the same situation. If the couch is not gonna get fixed, I don't know if it was worth purchasing the plan.

I had a bit of a challenge using Allstate's online kind of portal thing. I don't know if there was a difference between my trying to access it via cell phone versus laptop, but eventually, it worked out. It was two repairs, one for each appliance. It was a stove and my dishwasher.

The stovetop on my oven needed replacement and Allstate’s response was fairly fast. It was replaced and done within a week. Everything has been perfect since then. The pricing was reasonable. Warranties are always such a double-edged sword. They feel like a scam sometimes but it worked out in this case.

I love the Allstate protection plan and I buy it for everything that has it. I bought it for my Motorola phone and other items, including my printer, computer and Vizio television. I've had to use Allstate before and I've never had any problems. The reps helped me on how to delete everything off the phone.

Walmart offers Allstate Protection Plans, and I got it for the handheld vacuum I bought yesterday. I get a warranty for everything. They’re very important. I recently filed a claim online for a security camera that stopped working. Allstate is always very quick and thorough, though I have to mail everything back in.

I recently had a dishwasher repaired by Allstate. I wasn't happy with getting in touch with the service. Nobody spoke English. I couldn't understand a word they said. They must’ve had a speakerphone. I couldn't hear them. Also, someone was supposed to be here. They didn't show up and I never got a call. I called Allstate back again. The people came the next day. However, they never said they were coming that day. They just showed up at 6 o'clock that night. But it was wonderful dealing with Allstate. I recommended them to somebody else.

The sales rep was awesome when I got an Allstate protection plan for our washer and dryer. I got it through Home Depot and I was very satisfied. I needed to file a claim because our washer broke down and Allstate replaced it. The process was super easy and the people who helped me were very good.

The Allstate protection plan was cheap, and the coverage was for two years. It wouldn't hurt in case something happened, so I got it for my Keurig coffee machine. I filed a claim two years ago and it was super easy. I should have done it sooner. I just never got around to it because I thought it was gonna take a while so I kept pushing it off. I got a response within a week starting from the initial claim to getting reimbursed. The product is cheaper now but Allstate gave me the amount that was needed. It was a good and hassle-free experience. They were able to handle everything electronically.

Anytime people order from Walmart or they get a TV, I always let them know to not forget to get the Allstate protection plan because it worked miracles for me. Allstate always helps me out. They have been very good to me since I started with them. And I'm not gonna go without it, unless I go somewhere else.
I use them for every item I have, like electronics or things that I know that I want to get a protection plan in. I order from Walmart all the time and they provide Allstate, so I use Allstate all the time. Every time my air mattress started sinking, they always send a new one. I recently went with them for my TV that had blacked out. But when we took it to the place, they did not fix it. I threw it away because they said the motherboard and the whole screen were broken. They couldn't do anything about it. I said it's fine. I'll just buy another one. I will get Allstate protection plan on the new TV as well.

I purchased Allstate protection plans for an Xbox XXL and a VR headset for my son. I had to file a claim six times for my son's VR and the first time I called it in, I encountered some confusion about whether I needed a receipt. Initially, I was told I didn't need it, but then they asked for it. After clarifying, the process went smoothly, and they fixed the issue without further problems.
Everyone should have a protection plan. It's great to have when you have kids and you buy them high-priced gaming products, earphones and anything that you spend money on because you can get it replaced or fixed. I started using the Allstate protection plan last year and I always go back to Walmart because they have it and that's who I go for. I just used it this Christmas on four other new items that I purchased, though I haven’t used my receipt to put it in yet.

The place I purchased my wedding ring from offered an Allstate protection plan for it. When my wife tried to file a claim due to wear and tear, it was very hard. Nobody tried to help her. I got involved online and it was not easy. I got somebody to help me out on the phone and it was not good, especially foreigners, so I had to request someone in the united states to help me out. I got help, but so far, it has not been a good experience. I don't think my ring thing got lost in the mail. I called Allstate again, and there was no help. I'm still waiting.

I purchased a dehumidifier online through Walmart and I was offered an Allstate protection plan. It was a wise purchase for me ‘cause I needed it and it did what it was supposed to do when the dehumidifier quit working properly. It was running and it sounded fine but it was not pulling any moisture out of the air. I contacted Walmart and they gave me bad instructions. They said I had to go to the manufacturer, so I wasted about an hour trying to do that. When I finally went back to my email from the protection plan company, it said how to contact them if there was a problem. Once I contacted the protection plan company, everything went fine.
The protection plan was very valuable for me. Otherwise, I would have been out, totally, the money. While I was a bit disappointed that Allstate didn't offer me to buy another one when they shipped me the new one, they offered me comparable items. I would have liked to have had the same unit back, but I've made a choice and the new unit has arrived. It's working fine, so I'm happy. Overall, getting an Allstate protection plan was worth it for my purchase.

The water cooler was leaking. Filing the claim with Allstate wasn't easy at first. They denied the claim immediately when we did it. We had to call them and then once we talked to somebody, they were fairly quick about processing the claim. I explained to them exactly what happened. They listed the reasons for failure. I gave the reason that the cooler was leaking, and they just assumed that I was filing a claim that I wanted them to repair my floors for the damage that it caused. But once I explained to them that I was looking to get reimbursed for the cooler itself, then things progressed.
I'm satisfied that I got somewhat reimbursed. But the water cooler wasn't a high-priced item, so I'm not sure I would get the extended warranty again. It was a $140 item, and the extended warranty plan was 20 bucks. First of all, Allstate only gives you a store credit. They don't give you your money back. So, I was kind of disappointed with that. It may have been in the fine print, but I didn't read it before we purchased the extended warranty. But for a higher-priced item, I would do it. It may be worthwhile.

The rep from Allstate told me to go to the store and I could purchase one, take a picture of the receipt, send him a picture of the receipt, and they were gonna reimburse me the money. And they did.

When the service man arrived he was able to Reset the button in a matter of Minutes. The instructions that came with the Refrigerator did not explain the process thoroughly. He was very helpful at explaining the whole process. None of the parts that were sent out were necessary and he took them with him and he was going to return them to the manufacturer.

My daughter needed a watch, and I got an Android smartwatch. I got a protection plan online at Walmart and Allstate Protection Plans was the option that was given. When my daughter was taking the watch out of her backpack at school, it got caught on something and it flew out, cracking the screen. I filed a claim with Allstate, and it wasn’t hard. Everything was through text messaging, and it was easy to communicate with them. I got an email saying that I had options, so I picked what I wanted. A few days later, I got a message saying that it was gonna be reimbursed instead. So, that's irritating. It got my daughter’s hopes up, too.
If you're gonna send options to somebody, they're thinking that they're gonna get it replaced. I was informed that the item was out of stock and I said it didn’t matter if none of the options were exactly the same one that I bought. It didn’t make sense what difference it made whether I got reimbursed, since I could just turn around and buy the watch that I chose online myself. I usually don't buy a warranty but I did for the watch. The warranty would be more valuable if it provided a replacement rather than just a refund. To get reimbursed is pointless.

When the washing machine quit, we called the store. They were having us go a different direction. They wanted us to have somebody come out from our local area and diagnose our problem. They wanted $110 to do that. But we didn't wanna do that. Somehow, they got ahold of Allstate and then everything went really smoothly from then on. We were told that a gentleman would come from Allstate and fix our washing machine, that the parts would be coming to us and that's exactly what happened. He fixed it and he left. But then we threw a load into the washing machine and it said that there was no water supply. We called him and he came right back out. He had just forgotten to hook up a little hose.

Allstate Protection Plans is the worst. I have an upright freezer with them. When I called them about the warranty, they started talking to me and said, “We're gonna fix it right away. No problem at all.” They took weeks to find somebody. I called them because they never called me back. I asked what was going on. They said they couldn't find a technician so they will send me a catalog, I choose the freezer I want, and they will send it to me. I said, “Okay. That sounds great.” That never happened.
I called them back a week later. They said they didn't have the product. The only thing they can do is refund me. I said, “I'm disabled. My wife's disabled. And we're 70 years old. I don't have the time to go to the store looking for a new freezer.” They said, “But that's the only thing we can do.” I received the money by check.

Things happen and you wanna get your money's worth for what you pay for. Having that extended warranty gives a self-assurance. I filed a claim with Allstate Protection Plans to get a new controller because the PlayStation 5 controller stopped charging. Filing the claim was of moderate difficulty. Allstate gave me a number and it told me to go on to the website. But it has no information on it. I called the 1800 number back and it tried to keep sending me back to do it online, but it isn't working. They need to make the app user-friendly because it was confusing and frustrating. I tried for two weeks just doing it through the app before I said, "Forget it. I'm just gonna try to talk to somebody." I had to keep going through all these prompts until I get someone on the phone. But I explained the situation and I had no issues after that. It was a good interaction.

The little snap on my headphone where you can put on your belt loop broke, and it fell about 20 feet in the air, and it got ran over before I could grab it. It was destroyed, so I made a claim to Allstate about it, and they gave me my money back. The claims process was straightforward. All I had to do was go on the website and claim it. They sent me an email and they had all the stuff. They told me what to do, and to put it in the box and make sure that there weren't batteries that explode or leaking. Then I sent it off, and they sent me a email, and it showed me where everything was. It was pretty good. It was fast, easy and reliable. The extended warranty is very good to have one. The only bad thing about it is if you forget about it, and then you break it after it's gone, and you don't get another warranty, you screwed up right there.

I did one claim last month because the washer went bad. The technician came in, checked in, and they said the repair and parts cost is more than the cost of a new unit, so they wouldn't be doing that. So Allstate reimbursed the original cost of the washer in the form of a Home Depot gift card. When I used Allstate before, they used to respond within 24 hours. But now, the communication is mostly in email format. Sometimes, their reponse took two days, but 24 hours should be good enough for that. It took more than two weeks to get my reimbursement. I didn't have a washer, and I was going to a nearby laundromat to get my clothes washed. There was a technician appointment delayed. It was supposed to be a Friday, but he came next Monday. It should have been handled better, but other than that, I don't see any issues.

I bought this plan for a few things, but they ran out on me. They didn't break. I recently had a trimmer that broke about four months before the plan ran out. Allstate paid me $24.95 for it and sent me a check in the mail. I made a claim one time before and it was so hard that I wasn't even going to submit a claim for the trimmer. I called up six or seven times. But I figured I'll try and this time, it went fast and easy. I did it online and didn't have to call anybody.
The website was horrible before. My merchandise wasn't listed on the list of merchandise that I had to choose from. Nobody was giving me help at Allstate. So, I had to get Walmart involved because I spend about $600 a month on Walmart plus, they do my pharmaceuticals too. I told them I'm gonna move all my stuff to Publix. They jumped on it and called Allstate with me on the phone and got it all cleared up, and I got paid.
In terms of the price, I'd give it a 3-star because 25% is a lot. I was going to buy an underwater camera, but I didn't. I was like, "Does Allstate trust this camera that's why they're charging so much?"

Extended warranties as the ones offered by Square Trade are an insurance against the inferior quality we see in today's manufacturing. Appliances used to last half a lifetime, we live longer but appliances suffer from a shortened lifespan. Hopefully the government will intervene on this issue protecting us consumers. What a shame to have to resort to those safeguards.

My son's bike broke. I had no issues get a replacement bike sent out and delivered in a timely manner! So appreciated! The first time it broke the manufacturer sent us parts to replace it ourselves. After it broke a second time the manufacturer warranty had expired and I was able to use my extended warranty through Allstate to get a replacement bicycle.

I never received a renewal notice nor was I warned that my policy would be canceled nor was I informed of said cancellation. I was able to get my policy re-instated 1 year later with the help of a great agent in Ottawa. In addition, they took away my 30 year historical record which added $448 to the premium when the error was at your end.

My TV remote was not keeps its charge. I called Allstate Insurance, they made it easy replacing my nonfunctional TV remote. The customer service representative was very friendly and knowledgeable. I received my replacement within a few days. Once I received the remote, reprogramming was easy. I highly recommend Allstate and Costco insurance.

Took over a week for Tech arrive to the First time but wrong parts ordered. Then, over a week later, tech arrives again, but no new parts have been delivered. I bought an open box pc on eBay with a one-year warranty through Allstate. The pc died after 2 months. Ebay will not help because it is over one month, Allstate won't help, referred me to Squaretrade. Squaretrade will NOT honor the agreement. I spent over 40 hours trying to resolve this and I am having to go to court to make SquareTrade honor the agreement.

I purchased an Allstate Protection Plan for my Garmin Vivoactive 5 smartwatch at the time of purchase. The watch has a retail value of $199, and the protection plan cost $30. I filed a claim under the protection plan, and my watch was received by the authorized repair facility on December 16, 2024. As of today, the device has been in their possession for over three weeks with no confirmed repair completion date.
When I requested a status update, I was informed that the delay was due to waiting on parts from the manufacturer. While I understand occasional delays, the length of time without a clear resolution or replacement is unacceptable. When I follow up for escalation I just get told we will get with depot and get you an update. Then I never receive an update.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I have requested either a guaranteed repair date or confirmation of replacement or reimbursement. When purchasing this plan I was not aware this was a repair service, and assumed it was an insurance policy that replaced the device if there were issues with the device. Had I known what I was purchasing I would not have agreed to this protection plan.

Updated on 01/06/2026: I got a call from SquareTrade today. They promised an email within one hour. Nothing arrived. I called back three hours later. Another rep gave the same excuse and promised an email within two hours. Still nothing. This company wastes your time and delivers nothing. The communication is terrible. The follow-up is a joke. I would never recommend to anyone.
Original Review: I do not recommend this company. You get a constant runaround. You call over and over and hear the same line every time, "We will send an email to escalation." Nothing changes. They do not work on Mondays, yet they scheduled my appointment on a Monday. No one communicates or takes ownership. They told me they have no idea when a technician will come out, even though the required part has been sitting at my house for over a month. This shows poor coordination and lack of basic planning. This process wastes time and shows no respect for the customer.

We haven't had any problems with Omega Auto Care every time we've had a problem with the truck. The claims process is easy. The dealership calls Omega, does all the back and forth, and we just pick it up. So everything Omega said were gonna do, they’ve done. The transmission went out and that was handled well. The axle was messed up, and the issue hasn’t been addressed, and we have to take the truck back. But that doesn't fall on Omega, that's on the dealership.
What’s so frustrating is we bought that truck brand new and they told us it’s covered from front to back. Later on, we were told that the stuff they said they’re covering had nothing to do with the repairs we've had. And we’re in awe of the problems we've had with this truck because it hasn’t even reached 100,000 miles and we’re having repairs at 50,000 miles. If we didn’t have Omega, we’d be in a lot of trouble ‘cause these repairs are very expensive at the dealership.
The only thing we don’t agree with is Omega keeps raising our premium even before our contract is up and they won’t honor the current rate we’ve been paying for. And they say it’s because of the economy and unforeseen circumstances. If you set a contract, no matter what the economy is, you should stick to it. On this point, I feel Omega has failed us as a customer. Aside from that, we’re glad we have it ‘cause they’ve been good as far as covering expenses, and there hasn’t been any issues yet.

When we turned the TV on, it started an update. It was supposed to finish after the update but didn't really bring the system back to normal. It's just still resetting by itself and doesn't go farther than that. So I called Allstate. They sent a technician and told me to do a reset. I followed the instructions, but the problem stayed the same. They decided to just send me a new TV. It's good that I got a protection plan. I work with electronics, and you never know when you're gonna need it. I just try to cover myself. Overall, I'm satisfied with their service.

My tablet was not working properly. It wouldn't stay on and was not charging. I filed a claim online but it just kept prompting me to go to the Allstate site from the buyer that I bought it from. When I went there, it says file a claim. But when I press the button, it wouldn't go any further. It just kept staying at the same screen.
I had to call the number that was associated with Allstate Protection Plans and I got it done over the phone. Everything went smoothly. But I did not like the fact that I didn't get the same item back. I had to get a similar item that was available. That's the only process that I don't like. If I'm filing a claim for something, then I should be able to get that exact item back and not a different one.

When one of the earbuds was damaged Allstate replaced it free of charge. They didn't even have to take it back. I was impressed by that. It was a pain in the butt going through but I was very pleased with the outcome. I have recommended it to others. It’s a unique experience. It’s not for nothing. They said it covered anything, and they did.
I called them on the phone a little bit too for some questions and took pictures of the receipt. It was a very good experience. They did what they promised. If anything happens, it's covered.

I purchased an item through eBay and got this plan. It broke down so I reached out to file a claim. They had a 3D printer listed as an appliance plan. Which didn't cover the printer, so they would have to cancel it. No. They could update the plan because they didn't insure items that are broken.

We always get protection plans for our appliances. It was just normal. Recently our dishwasher started intermittently beeping when it wasn't running, and even when it was running, it would just beep and make all these crazy sounds. Then the light shut off and the door would just flash on and off.
I called Allstate and it took too long. I kept re-explaining what was going on. It took over 30 minutes to have the rep understand and then once she did it was a lot smoother. However if she understood it better, then maybe the right part would have been sent out.
The repair person who came out was expecting to see the control panel. Had the right part been sent out, then I could just have the part replaced rather than having to get a whole new dishwasher. I'm appreciative that they took care of my problem. There is room for improvement though.

My daughter’s Chromebook was pre-used and refurbished. I know how my kids are with their belongings. I read what Allstate covered and it didn't cost that much for what it covered. It fell off the bed and it hit the corner and the screen has a crackle inside of it. I could not get nothing to work after that.
I went online. I looked up through my protection thing that I got in my email and I followed the link and the instructions. At first, it was a little confusing. It took me a while to get it fully finished. I tried to give the description to the best of my ability.
I spoke with somebody through chat which got disconnected but once I was able to get back in and finish speaking with someone, the filing was really quick. We chatted for about 30 minutes just asking me the general questions and going through that process with me and then letting me know how things were going to work and what to expect.
After it was settled, they let me know when to expect the refund to get another one. The whole process went really well. I was very impressed. The check came and I was able to cash it. I'm currently waiting for the new Chromebook to get delivered. When I sent back the old one, I didn’t know what box to even get. The guy pointed the laptop box. I was able to get a cute little box and bubble wrap for it. I ended up only coming out of pocket for the packaging for $5.
Allstate was definitely worth it so I got another one for the one that's coming so if anything like that happens again, I know that it's covered. It's really worth it. And I would recommend it to anybody asking if it's worth it.

I filed a claim for my PlayStation controller and the process of just getting the claim through Allstate was the hardest. The manufacturer’s warranty had already expired so I filed the claim online, and it kept getting denied. It took me a whole day to reach Allstate, but when I finally got through, I explained what was going on and they expedited the process. They replaced my controller, and I got it within five days, and that was nice.

Square trade claims are very frustrating and they love to play games with you. Not quick to respond nor helpful, tell you lies all the time. If I was Allstate I wouldn’t want them associated with my company name. Been told I would be contacted next day and I always have to contact them and they ask for more documentation that the person I spoke with 2 day before stated they have all documentation. Been two weeks and counting for resolution on claim and still nothing.

This company is a scam. I recently purchased an iphone and the motherboard went out. They said they would approve it and kept giving me these tasks to complete before approval. I did everything they asked and there was always a different reason for them NOT to approve it. Every agent I talked to said something completely different. I doubt anybody gets approved, they give you the runaround for weeks hoping you’ll give up. Definitely a scam.

I purchased my Allstate Plan for the tire filler from Walmart. The device suddenly stopped working. When I charged it, it was showing full charge within 15 minutes but when I tried to fill the air, immediately, it was discharging. The tire itself is not filling. I went online and I put the request. Within 15 minutes, the amount got settled. I got the message that they will refund the money to my original payment method. I was very happy with Allstate.

Allstate was a bad experience. The audio jack in my televison had been malfunctioning where the television thinks something plugged in, but there's nothing plugged in there, which causes no sound to come out from the internal speakers. It just does that randomly.
The three times I called Allstate, we went through the troubleshoot steps and that didn't resolve anything and everything sounded scripted. And every time I called them, it seems like no records were kept of my previous calls. I pretty much hung up on the last call.
The problem has not been fixed and still exists. On the second call, I told them that if I tapped the headphone jack on the television, it may or may not start working. It did start working when I was on the phone with them, so they think it was fixed and wouldn't acknowledge that this is still an ongoing problem.
This is the only incident that I had trouble with. I've had Allstate coverage on other electronics before, but I never really had to report a large claim like this one. Allstated has been reliable, but difficult at times.

The claim for my washing machine went fine. It was fixed in about a week. They had to come back twice because they didn't have the right parts the first time. But they got everything taken care of.
The warranty is totally worth it, considering what I probably would have paid if I had to pay for the repair out of pocket. I’d tell people Allstate is good.

It's been good with Allstate. My icemaker’s lights burned out and it's defrosting when it shouldn't. The company they were dealing with told me they want me to send it and then they’d send me one. I told them they need to send me one, and I can send it back in the box. And I told them what's going on. I shouldn't have any hassle. I just bought it six months ago.
I've had Allstate before. I get it with anything I buy if offered. It makes sense to buy because when the little things happen, you can take care of it. Everything I've done with them, they took care of me. They've been good to me.

It’s the reliability and good service of Allstate that I enjoy. I made a claim online through the SquareTrade app and it wasn't hard. They repaired it, and it's en route to be returned.
Getting a protection plan is just something I've always done because I've seen the benefit in it. If they can't fix it, they’ll send you your money back. Paying an extra $8 on an $80 item is better knowing it can be repaired or replaced, as opposed to nothing. It’s reassuring to know that you're gonna get the type of results for what you paid for. If it stops working, if you left it in your pocket and somebody washed it, and it's your fault, they're willing to fix it or give your money back.
And with kids these days, things get thrown to the side and they never get to use them, or it’d be broken in a year and it doesn’t work anymore, I'm all about saving the dollar and budgeting. So, anything that can put money back in my pocket is still better than nothing at all.

The guy that sold the GE refrigerator convinced me to get Allstate. It wasn’t even 18 months and the ice maker quit making ice so I had to file a claim. Everyone I've spoken to has been very nice, courteous and helpful but my problem is not resolved. Every time I speak to someone, no one follows up, and I still have no ice maker. I've been through Thanksgiving with no ice maker and I feel like I'll probably have to go through Christmas without one. It’s very frustrating.
While they mailed a new ice maker to my house, I contacted a repair company, they came and changed it. The guy seemed very professional and knew what he was doing but the ice maker seemed to be defective. It never came on. He asked us to wait 24 hours and if it didn’t make ice, we have to call him and it didn’t.
The repair company said we’ll have to contact Allstate to file another claim and get another work order. I did that but I didn’t hear back from them. This afternoon, I got an email from Allstate saying that they were mailing me another ice maker and they were gonna send the same repair company. I hope this time it works. I'm not satisfied with the fact that it's not repaired.

I got my Allstate Protection from Costco. I had problems with the TV but it broke within two years so Costco took it back. When I went back to buy another one, I figured, just in case it goes longer than two years, I should buy a plan. Then I bought the new TV, I bought it again.
When I filed a claim they sent me a check because that TV was five years old. It was easy. There was just a lot of delays because you have to wait for somebody to get back to me. But it went pretty smooth. It was a good deal for about $100 and they got me a new TV five years later. It’s even better now because Costco paid for the whole insurance. It's included in the price.

My experience with Allstate has been pretty good. The claim process for my GE washer and dryer combo was pretty easy. They sent me some parts for the unit and a repair company contacted me. Their guy came out and he said that Allstate sent the wrong parts. He was going to have to contact Allstate and have them send out the right parts. I got the new parts from FedEx a few days later and the repair guy came back and he repaired my machine.

We have a TV in the house, but then my wife wanted one for the bedroom so we got an LG. The reason we like the LGs is because our family likes the LG channels. We use our TV watching channels through the internet, cable and antenna.
When the tuner for the antenna burned out, I filed a claim with Allstate. They said they will get me a new TV. The ones they offered weren't bad choices. It's just I could never see the LG channels. They're in the process of trying to find me an LG equivalent. They've been working on it for about two and a half weeks. In the meantime, the TV's still working for the LG channels but it's not working for the standard TV. I'm trusting that they're going to do something honest and ethical.
I placed a claim before on the dehumidifier and that experience is was fine. I do not usually buy this type of warranty. But in a few cases, the benefits are worth the money. For these electronic gadgets and maybe for cameras, they're very complicated and now they're largely expensive. These fancy electronic gadgets can easily break and that's where warranties are helpful to me. Unless the price gets too high, I won’t get it.

Fast response. My coffee pot quit a week or two prior to the warranty running out. Honestly, I had forgotten about the warranty. I happen to see it was still in date so I entered the required info. They checked for a similar replacement pot, but it was not available. They said they would send me a check instead. I ordered a new pot. A short while later, the check arrived. Although it did not cover the entire purchase price of the new pot, it was more than I expected. I'm very happy.

They send you technician dumps, they don’t know the technician but they trusted on those s technicians, the technician tell me he don’t know anything about the electrician and leave my stove plug without ground. He tell me I don’t know but I let know you insurance company. And later Allstate representative send me one email and said they don’t cover my issue, they want you make thousands call before send the dump technician for nothing. They stolen you money and your time. Not buy that Cain the insurance protection, because they never protection you, they protect their future with you money.

The interactions with Allstate the customer service team were really good. They sent us money to replace our refrigerator after the manufactuere couldn't fix it. Having this warranty is essential for us. If we didn't have it, we'd probably have a refrigerator that we didn't know if it was going to stay working or whether we were going to come home and there would be water all over the floor.

I've been dealing with Allstate Protection for years, and they are dependable. I purchased a protection plan for my 50-inch Vizio television. I had issues with the product and I tried to resolve it. I ended up calling them and reimbursing my money.
Having it very valuable. I tell my parents and my siblings to make sure they get extended warranty on products because in the long run, it does pay for itself. It doesn't give you a headache. I also remind my husband to get an extended warranty for whatever he buys.

Buyer Beware!!! This warranty is definitely not worth the trouble of buying. We purchased two phones and bought the warranties to go with them and Allstate is refusing to fix them. They keep sending me daily emails saying they can't locate the warranty (receipts have been uploaded), can't verify the devices (sent pics of boxes with serial numbers), and now after 3 weeks of sending emails, talking to agents, taking the money out of my account for the repair fee, and asking for more detailed information on how the phones were damaged, we're still no closer to getting phones fixed. Was actually told by a customer service agent that even though we have a warranty of the phones, it is up to them whether they want to honor the warranty and it looks like they're not wanting to honor these warranties.

Purchased a Phillips TV from Walmart 1.5 years ago. Hardware problems with Wi-Fi and network connection. Purchased Allstate three year warranty. Emailed Allstate five or six times. Called Allstate on the phone, could barely understand the woman on the phone. She basically told me to call Phillips and sent me on my way. Sent another email to Allstate about this, Allstate never responded. That was two weeks ago. I have bought eight TVs from Walmart. Never had a problem until now. I will not buy any more of anything that has Allstate warranty.

Bought son a laptop from Costco and usually only get the protection plan for electronics and so glad I did because someone bumped into son at school and he dropped his bookbag with laptop in it but didn't know there was a problem until he finally had to use it again. The locking mechanism came dislodged from the freezer door. Technician was able to reinstall with a stronger sealant. The technician was a true professional and quickly resolved the issue. Allstate denied my claim on a TV. They said the screen was cracked based upon a photo that was sent to them. The TV screen was NOT cracked. I suggested that they send someone to look at the TV personally. They were adamant in denying my claim. Do not purchase their warranty plans.

My Brother printer is NOT connecting to our wifi (a brand new TV is hooked to wifi and working just fine) last week. I called and the technician went through a list of things to check and started a claim. I sent in on Friday 11-21-25 and the printer was received and serviced and shipped back to me and received by me today 11-28-25. I tried to connect printer to wifi and was still not successful so I called and again the technician went thru a more detailed check of all the system setting with my laptop and printer setting and an hour later the printer still was not connecting so I have to send back in for future repairs.
The technician was very polite and patient and I was able to follow all his requests for him to check what needed to be checked. I did not feel comfortable letting anyone into my computer and was very grateful that he was willing to working with me to do the checklist that he needed to do to try to find and fix the problem but again printer is being sent back per his request.

I've talked to three different customer service reps while trying to get my claim resolved. During the first call, everything seemed straight forward enough and I thought I'd get my payout in a couple of weeks. After two weeks passed with no payment, I called again. That rep said my electronic affidavit hadn't been reviewed. And I just called again today; this time the rep says I didn't sign the electronic affidavit! When I buy my replacement appliance, I'm not going to bother with this "insurance."

First appointment was a no show. Appointment range was 0800 - 1700 so had to take a day off of work just to have no one come out. After several calls, they ended up putting in my service tag incorrectly and scheduled a guy who was on vacation and was never going to come to my house Second appointment was cancelled without contact. Was supposed to call within 24-48 and never received a call. Spent several days calling. Dryer is still not serviced.

Went on the Walmart website. Easily found the product. Could’ve been shipped to me, but now you’re lowballing me paying me even less than I paid for the item and it was a replacement process. You could’ve just replaced it. Not gonna spend all my time arguing with you about it just will not recommend and strongly tell people not to use you ever.

Instead of giving Walmart ecard/gift cards for claims being offered, please change it to where we get a check or a visa gift card so we can get the money into our banks, I don't really like being bound to only Walmart to use the money especially since I had to pay for my repair and get reimbursed for what I spent to only get paid back in Walmart ecard.

This is been the worst purchase I have ever made in 60 years. Purchased an $1,100 tricycle electric tricycle kit and it's a nightmare. I've been working on mine for the past week and it has never ran. Tried everything that tricycle simply will not run. So I paid for free or protection plan for this tricycle. And there's no justice for that either even though I spent over $1,100 on this electric tricycle. No refunds nothing.

Very unjust reason is chosen to deny company's responsibility for mechanical failure caused by a manufacturing defect. "Counterweight broke likely due a loose screw" - the repair technician that was appointed by Allstate, told me. The warranty company is now blaming the "water supply", which is by the way the same for entire geographic area. Never saw such a lame reason to deny services to a customer. WHAT does WATER SUPPLY HAVE TO DO with the CEMENT counterbalance failure?? You do not have to be a repair person to understand that water has nothing to do with what is going on outside of the drum (if there is no leak).

Throughout the years, I have had many different insurance companies for my business, auto and home. Allstate has been one of them. However, I have not purchased any insurance on electronics or appliances, because I try to purchase the best products that I feel do not need insurance. But, when I purchased my last TV from Costco, it came with Allstate’s extended warranty. Well, my Sony Bravia 75” TV recently lost its audio and then the power. So, after 4 years, I thought that it was just an anomaly and I would just bite the bullet and buy another one. Then, I remembered that I might have extended coverage and I did. It took some time, patience and determination. Thanks to Allstate and Costco, I was given a refund, which I used to purchase another Sony Bravia from Costco. And I purchased the Allstate insurance coverage!

The water heater Allstate Plan I purchased from Allstate through Home Depot. It is supposed to cover the water heater and installation. Allstate offers me a check for the original cost of water heater, nothing for installation. They can't give me a reason why, that’s just the way it is! I persisted and am waiting for another email. Both the reputations of Allstate and Home Depot are severely damaged by this experience. 🤬

Service was accomplished efficiently. No issues. The Samsung appliance (all-in-one washer and dryer/ventless), Allstate should be taking a technician report on appliance improvements and sending report back to Samsung. My appliance problem root cause was a dirty filter. No parts needed.

I had problems in the past buying new stuff, and then I had to pay out the wazoo to get it fixed. The person at Home Depot, where I bought my oven from, suggested I get the warranty with Allstate Protection Plans and they came through for me when I needed them. My oven wouldn't heat up, so I called Home Depot, then I called Allstate. I told them I needed help with the oven. It was easy to submit the claim and they sent somebody out here who did the work. I hadn't heard any more from anybody, and it's been taken care of. It's working now.

I had Allstate fix my freezer one time and replaced the ice maker. Then they come down here about a month ago and fixed the stove in my other house. It's pretty easy to file the cliam. We just called in and Allstate took care of it. They've done real good. The protection plan is pretty valuable because otherwise, I've been having to buy another refrigerator-freezer.

A few weeks ago, our dryer would not stop running for some reason. We unplugged it and got in touch with Allstate, who sent out a technician. He replaced the computer that had been pre-sent to my house. When he left, we turned the dryer on, and it shut off after four minutes and was giving an NP code. This was followed by a back-and-forth process where the technician needed to return several times, installing various parts and components. Frustratingly, each visit followed the same pattern - the dryer would still not function beyond 4 minutes. The communication was challenging as the technician primarily communicated through Google Translate, as his preferred language was Russian.
After multiple visits and unsuccessful repairs, I asked at what point the technicians would stop trying to fix it. I hadn’t had a dryer for six weeks. The representative asked how many times they had been out, and I said three or four. She said she needed to do some research and called me back later, saying they were working on a solution. I got an email the next day saying the same thing, and then another email the day after that saying Allstate would issue a Home Depot gift card for the value of the dryer and that I should be receiving it soon.
It took me a while just to get someone to talk to, and overall, my experience was not great. The technicians eventually came back with a solution and offered a replacement dryer, but it took a long time. Also, almost every time we called, we spoke with someone we had trouble communicating with and we kept running into misunderstandings. We had to repeat the same explanations over and over, and they kept saying it was a power issue and that we needed to contact an electrician. We kept explaining that this was under warranty, the technician didn’t come back, and they needed to send someone out to fix it.

I recently had a washing machine that needed repair, and Allstate sent out a repair person twice to address the problem. After he determined that it wasn't fixable, they replaced it. They gave me a voucher to use to purchase a brand new machine. The broken unit was taken away, which was part of Home Depot's plan, but the dollars that I received from Allstate covered that cost.
I had to go through Home Depot to get to the Allstate website, except when they sent me an email and that allowed me to go directly to what I needed to do in order to handle the transaction. It was easy to follow. Allstate is a great company. I also have auto insurance with them. They're a brand name Corporate 500 company. They have a stellar reputation, stand alone without the agreement that they have with Home Depot for appliances.

I never received my replacement TV after almost two months from the incident (Oct. 7). The replacement TV I did receive was cracked beyond repair and was already picked up by NFM, and I sent my pickup slip through email (Nov. 7). Now, every time I call your company's phone number they tell me the claim was closed and to wait another business day, but no confirmation or delivery email arrives.

We bought a washer and dryer, and a counter-depth Samsung refrigerator. We got them from Home Depot and we also bought Allstate protection plans for them. I've been buying protection plans for a few years and with Allstate, I have filed a claim online and over the phone. I would give them a pretty good score on their communication, follow-up, and reimbursement. I would recommend them to family and friends. But they should honor what they communicated to me as opposed to just changing their position on an item.
For example, when we had an issue with the icemaker of our Samsung refrigerator, I communicated the issue and we went through some diagnostics together. They told me that they would send me parts, then once the parts arrived that I would be able to schedule the local repair person to make the repairs. But about a week or so later, I got multiple emails that said they were not going to do that. Instead, they would first send someone over to take a look at the issue. So, that dragged the issue out for another week and a half. We also used Allstate on the dryer when we were getting lint all over our clothes. I had a repair person come out half a dozen times before the issue was resolved. It shouldn't take six different appointments, dragging the issue out for months before we come to a resolution.

I'm very satisfied. I'll tell people I know to get Allstate. It's worth it. It's a good program and I'm glad I got it.

I have a French door on my refrigerator that slides out so the air would not escape, and that piece was broken. Setting up the claim with Allstate was simple, which is important. I initially called, and then they sent me a link, and I did it through their website. I took a picture or a video of the problem and uploaded it. Instead of two appointments, we just had one. I tend to buy protection plans for electronic equipment and I've always made my money on it. So, I'm a fan.

I agree — I just had an issue with them and they really do feel like a scam. I bought a product from Walmart and chose the optional 2-year warranty. I added the warranty to my account through the Walmart app (I’ll post a picture), which is supposed to serve as proof that the warranty is active. Nine months later, my controller stopped working, so I filed a claim using the app since the warranty was saved on my account. They then told me I couldn’t use my warranty because I didn’t have the printed receipt. What’s the point of offering the option to save the warranty to your file if they won’t actually accept it when you need it? It creates a false sense of security — You think your warranty is safely stored in the app, so you don’t worry about the paper receipt. Then when something goes wrong, they refuse to honor it, and you realize you basically paid an extra $20 for nothing. It feels like they’re just taking people’s money.

The Whirlpool washer started making a loud noise the entire wash and rinse cycles. I filed a claim on 10/30/2025. It's now 11/20/2025. I still have not received an appointment to fix the washer. I have been in contact with Allstate Protection Plans daily, and nothing seems to be getting done. Allstate Protection Plans shipped and delivered parts, but I cannot get Allstate Protection Plans to get a technician to fix washer. I asked for a refund for the washer and warranty but they will only refund the price of the washer. I am only 3 years into my 5 years warranty. Also, the Home Depot says 3 days of service guaranteed.

Absolutely BS service, does not cover enough, no American call centers. Requires you to pay all upfront charges. Super high deductible for super low cost phone. I have now paid more in my insurance prices than my phone cost and they won't replace my phone. The Indian call centers you get are disgusting. All State needs to be closed down, they don't deserve to be in business.

The dishwasher door was not able to close properly, and there was a slant on the left-hand side, which indicated there might be something wrong with one of the hinges. Allstate sent the part based upon my complaint and when the technician arrived, he did a visual inspection and determined that it wasn't a part, but it was a screw that had dropped out from somewhere, which was holding the left side of the door. He fixed it with a screw that was missing, and there was no need for the part. So, he took the part with him. The only thing is that I don't understand why he had to travel an hour and a half to get to my premises. The last time I had a request or a claim, I was able to pick a local technician.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for an LG 10 cu. refrigerator. I had to file a claim when the refrigerator was only a couple of years old, which really shocked us, but there's the rule of thumb that if something's gonna break down, it's gonna break down the first couple of years. What happened was the icemaker wasn't working and the bottom freezer didn't get cold. It defrosted and ruined all my food. These new refrigerators have these codes on the screens, and this code kept on coming up. We googled the code and it told us to unplug it. If you didn't unplug it and the code stayed on it, then it would overheat and that's where the melting would happen. So, we called Allstate and filed a claim with the protection plan we had.
The customer service team at Allstate must have a generic using of how they said, "Okay.” We tell them the problems. They type it into their computer and they tell you that you have to empty your refrigerator and defrost it for 24 hours and see if the code clears. That's a pain when you got all that stuff. You have to have it done for the guy to come out anyway so he can replace all the components. You just want someone to come out and push a button and get it fixed. They are helpful though.
I was complaining about how I had to throw out some food. We had to buy a little icemaker at Home Depot for $100, so we can make ice to keep the other stuff cold since the freezer wasn't working. The rep was very nice. She said, "I could send you another claim where you can say the cost of what food you lost and any expenditures that you had to incur." I was just too lazy to fill that stuff out. She was very helpful and she did process another claim for me.
When the tech came, he replaced some fan blower unit, and then he went ahead and changed both icemakers up and down just in case. They covered all the boxes. For a brand new refrigerator, you could have spent almost 3,000 on it. All the parts he brought was probably a good $400. So, it's definitely worth it. In my old-fashioned way, I want the old-fashioned refrigerator guy to come out the next day but they couldn't come out for five days because we live out in the sticks here in Tennessee. The parts were delivered to our house and then the repairman came the next day. So, it's new technology and a new process. I won't ding them because it's just times are different. They did a good job.

Having Allstate Protection Plans is very valuable, especially with prices now. I have already dealt with them in the past and when I purchased a washer from Home Depot, I got the protection plan too. When my washer wasn't starting up, filing a claim wasn't difficult, but I had a lot of setbacks because for some reason, there was an email that was entered that I had no idea who created it or what it was. Apparently, they were sending the information to that email. Besides that, the customer service reps were friendly and helpful. The service people were also really good about going out to my house and fixing my washer.

My washer was repeating its cycle. As soon as the cycle was done, it would start all over again. Supposedly, it was a glitch in the board itself. I found my extended warranty that I purchased from Home Depot and I called the number on it. It sent me to Allstate, then I spoke to two different agents. The first Allstate agent I spoke to wasn't the most pleasant. He hung up on me after he made me troubleshoot and turn off my power and put it back on. He also told me to unplug the machine and plug it back in, which I told him did nothing for me. On the other hand, the second agent was very delightful, helpful, and I appreciated all that they did. From when I called, the claim process took about a week. They did a good job.
Allstate pre-sent the parts, at least like three days prior to the tech showing up, then he came in and changed out the board. He was a very nice gentleman, and my washer is working 100 times better now. However, that machine is only about six months old. So, for it to stop working right off of just buying it is a bit upsetting. I had the previous model from before 10 years, and it worked amazing. Besides that, my washer is working right now, and I'm a lot happy. Allstate Protection Plans is, overall, a decent insurance company and I would take advantage of it. They pick and choose who works for them, but they can't possibly know how everybody's gonna be when they hire them. Some people lie in their resume.

The techs who repaired the stove were nice but it is a defective device. It has been repaired for the same issue so many times and at one point, I looked it up and there was probably a recall. It’s an electric range and most of the time, you put it on a low setting but for some reason, the stove gets super hot. It’s working fine now, but it’s usually just a matter of time. We've had it for four years now and we still use it cautiously. I can’t cook with peace of mind because this has happened before. I turned it on, went outside, and the house was filled with smoke because the setting blew out of proportion. It feels like a fire hazard.
One of the techs who I’ve had twice said that it was the same issue again and that I should be careful and see if there was something Allstate could do. I have tried, but it hasn’t happened. They just sent it out, and the last tech was pointing fingers, saying he was only there to repair it and that I had to call them. But I’ve called Home Depot and they reached out to Allstate SquareTrade. Then, when the tech comes, he would say it’s the only piece they sent. I was hesitant to even let him work on it. It’s concerning to have a recurring issue. But I would still recommend the protection plan. There will always be issues but at the same time, it’s worth it.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot, where Allstate was offered, and the plan sounded good. The icemaker issue turned out not to be the icemaker. The water and ice weren’t working, and when I first called, the reps sent the wrong parts. When the technician came out, he immediately knew it was the bottom piece where the filter goes. That part wasn’t seating right, which caused a slow leak. I thought it was just condensation in the refrigerator, but it wasn’t. Once he identified it, he fixed it right away, and everything is running smoothly now.
When I filed the claim, the reps should have told me to try this one thing and they didn’t. So, this caused a delay. But once the correct part was ordered, it arrived promptly within a day or two. This experience says how valuable it is to have a protection plan. We did not take a warranty for our Kenmore dishwasher, and it cost us nearly as much as the appliance itself when it needed repairs. So, the coverage from Allstate was well worth it. Everything was exactly as they said it was gonna be.

I got Allstate plans for a refrigerator, a stove, a dishwasher, and a microwave. I bought them all from Home Depot and I had to use the one on my dishwasher recently. When we pressed the panel that starts it, nothing would happen. It was dead. I called Allstate and their reps were very good. It was repaired in two minutes and overall, the policy was extremely valuable. I don't know how much that panel would have cost.

We had an issue with the water intake of the dishwasher. We filed the claim to Allstate over the phone and then they set up an appointment with someone to come out to take a look at the dishwasher. The tech came out and there was a part that they had shipped to us from the description of what was wrong with it, and then he installed it and left. It was fairly easy.
We were happy with everything with Allstate. Based off of the item that you get and the reasonable price of the coverage, it's well worth it because it was very easy to go through the process whenever there was an issue. It was just a phone call, and the next thing we know, we got a guy here a week or so later and fixed it and replaced everything and left. It worked out fantastic.

We purchased a refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer, and then we bought the Allstate warranty. Our refrigerator was gonna be out in our garage, so we decided that same day, we didn't need the warranty for the refrigerator. We just needed it for the washer and the dryer. When our washing machine went out, we submitted a claim and it didn't show that it was under warranty. The refrigerator did, so they took the warranty off of the wrong item. Home Depot blamed Allstate. Allstate blamed them. It was a bummer because we were without a washing machine for 8 weeks and even though it got resolved, I talked to a lot of different people. A few customer service people weren't able to help me, and then I finally spoke to someone who really got it done.
It was a very lengthy process before someone came out and repaired our washing machine. I wasn't gonna look at it negatively only because I don't think anybody knew how to handle it. I went to Home Depot, talked to someone on the phone a dozen times, and it ended up working out. We also have Allstate warranties on a few other little items like headphones, but we haven't had to use them for anything.

According to Allstate, they will reimburse 50% of my expense for the basket of my refrigerator that cracked. They replaced an electronic part for the icemaker that was replaced. But for the part that was cosmetic, I had to submit the claim once the purchase had been made, which I already did. They asked me to attach it to the email and they would take it from there. But that wasn't more than two weeks ago. I was assuming the reps who were supposed to reimburse would do something on my behalf. But nothing has been done. Fixing the right part for the refrigerator worked out well, but not the reimbursement for the cosmetic part.

Total waste of time. Without listening my whole concern and issue, agent on Chat cancel the plan and of no use. Don't ever buy it again. They first argue to have manufacturer warranty and then they cancel plan without consent. Cancel plan, give you $ 9 and say, "Go and call to store." That kind of peace of mind with plan.

I called and sent Allstate the paperwork about when I bought my dishwasher and about my warranty through Allstate. Once I found the right paper, the claims process was easy. I got a call in about three days from somebody that said, "I'm coming out on Monday to fix your dishwasher." He was here about 40 minutes and fixed my dishwasher. He was very nice, efficient, and careful not to scratch the floor. All in all, I had a great experience with Allstate Protection Plans.

Allstate fixed our washing machine about a month ago. It was on the fritz. We filed the claim on a Friday, and they said they were gonna send the parts in the mail. They had to replace the pump motor. The guy came the next week on Tuesday, and he was in and out in 40 minutes. He fixed it just like that. So we're very happy with the service. The machine works great.

I had claims on my clothes washer and clothes dryer. Getting the claims submitted was easy. I called the Allstate number that was given to me upon purchase. They had to replace the washer. On the dryer, they replaced a knob that you twist to start the dryer. Overall, I was very satisfied. This experience was quick, easy, and good.

Bought above ground Coleman swimming pool from Walmart, also purchased an extended warranty with Allstate that is a ripoff. I purchased everything 06/21/2025, had to make a claim with manufacture 10/01/2025 for liner that they honored but denied the claim for pool cover due to accessories only being covered for 90 days. So I called Allstate, whom I paid at time of purchase for a 3-year warranty with only to get runaround, hung up on and finally saying claim denied, so if you ever was considering purchasing this insurance, don’t, unless you just like to give money away.

I bought an extended warranty for a water heater. 1. On October 22, 2025 I contacted them about my water heater problem. I was given a claim number and companies to call. I was told I would have to pay the service call but would be reimbursed within 6 days of submitting the receipt. The receipt was uploaded to them on October 22nd. I have called many times and told it was paid, but as of today I have not received my refund. I called today, November 10th, and was told the refund was not processed and I have to wait another 6 to10 days. It has been 17 business days and I need my money. 2. I was also told not to get any repair that cost more than the item itself. The cost was more and I was offered a refund for the water heater only because there was not another one available. The same water heater is at Home Depot but $20.00 more so they won't replace it.
If they refund me the cost of the water heater, they will not refund me the balance of my warranty. So now, I have buy another water heater and pay the labor for the install if I accept there proposal. If I find the water heater for the same price, they will replace it and then cancel the remainder of the warranty and again, not refund me the balance of the warranty. If I can't get paid for the service call, how would I get paid for the water heater. Do not buy this warranty.

Paid for insurance on a pair of beats pro in ear headphones. The left earbud stopped working, sound was crackling and phasing in and out. Opened a claim, shipped it off and received it back 5 days later, with the same issue. Chatted with them, they had me send it back in. 5 days later, I received the device back with the e set same issue still. Chatted again, and was told that I used all of my claims and they couldn't open a new claim for me. They did offer to have me go fix the device and then they'd send me a check after. At this point, I don't trust anything they say and will never waste my money again.

Allstate was very easy to deal with from the time I filed the claim until my problem was fixed. I spoke to customer service. Told them the problem I was having and they ordered the needed part. I received the needed part in two days, I called the technician and he came right out to install the new part.

My microwave died within the time frame for the warranty. This plan is a joke. I filed a claim and was told a response would be given in 24 hours. 48 hours later I called, now they need the receipt for the plan I purchased. Again 48 hours later and still no word on what they are doing. Will I ever purchase another protection plan? Of course, as long as it’s not Allstate.

The whole experience I was easy, from start to finish. My only issue is that I was informed my headphones had been repaired, but I received an entirely different pair when they were sent back. They are the same, so it's not an issue, but I would have liked to have been informed so I knew I would have to pair them as a new device under "ClapTrap"'s headphones. Ew.

Our sleeper sofa had cat claw damage, I called the retailer to see if I could buy new cushions, but I could not because it had been discontinued. I filed the claim online and had payment within 10 days. I took pictures of all the damage sent it via email… It was so easy. Absolutely amazing company. I will buy this coverage on every piece of furniture I ever buy again.

My LG OLED TV had some burn-in spot and serious problem with some pixels on top of the TV. ALLSTATE instead of fixing the TV, they replaced it with a brand new 2025 OLED model, THANKS to them. This was awesome experience and I couldn't expect more. I still have the old TV because they let me to keep it. OLED TVs are great but this burn-in issue is normal thing for them. Thanks to Allstate, they solved my problem so quick in just couple steps.

I had purchased the dining room chairs from Wayfair and I had the chairs a very short time. On our 5th day use I notice that one of the chair had a stain. I reached out to Allstate as I had purchased insurance on the chairs from Wayfair. I was immediately sent a kit to remove the stain. I followed instructions as provided to me. I waited for the chair to dry, when it did it left a stain. I informed Allstate and they immediately rectified the issue for reimbursement of the chair.

Bought my laptop at Walmart. Bought Allstate warranty. I dropped it and broke screen in corner and how the top connected to bottom. Had a very good experience. Every rep was helpful. Although, my issue couldn't be fixed, the replacement process was quick and easy. I didn't expect them to replace the phone but once determined the fix was not possible they jumped into action to have it replaced. The same phone style model and equivalent memory was ordered and I received it within 2 days. I truly appreciated it.

In my 5th year of warranty, I had an issue with my covered Television. When I called immediately, I was connected to an agent who was very knowledgeable of the help I needed, and she went right to work on helping me. Unfortunately, my parts required for repair were no longer available, so I was given 3 options on a brand-new Television with similar features of my current one. I was so impressed with the decisiveness and the quick resolution of my issue. As well as the immediate turnaround time to receive my new delivered Television. This is truly how a protection plan should function! I am forever a supporter of All State Protection plans. Great Job!!!!

I've used protection insurance with Allstate because it was an add-on service provided by retailers. I've been happy with results until my TV started to go funny. When I first filed the claim, I was jumping through hoops trying to get them to believe me and what exactly the problem was. I spent an additional $60 on something I didn't need to prove that it was the tv. After I finally got back up with them and after several explanation, they finally gave me a new TV. This should have not taken so long and I shouldn't have spent any more on it as I did.

The repairman reported my dishwasher DOA but since it was under warranty, Allstate immediately issued a Credit and I have already purchased and had installed a brand-new Dishwasher. Process was painless once I knew whom to call, and I can't say enough good things about the customer support staff.

We purchased a washing machine through Menards two years ago and got the extra protection through Squaretrade/Allstate. A month ago the washing machine broke. We called and told the customer service what was going on. The washer was leaking from bottom, not agitating and making an awful sound. She set up the appointment and said that she ordered parts. The parts came and it was hoses, which is not what we needed.
The technician looked and verified that we needed a new transmission for the washer. He then ordered new parts. And when he came out to fix the washer, he said that the washer was not replaceable. It has been a month. I still do not have a washing machine. And we are fighting with customer service. They wrote our email down wrong. So then when they corrected it, it started the process all over. There is a washing machine 5 miles down the road from me. Same exact washer. We've offered to even go pick it up. I just want a replacement, and instead they're giving us the run around everything. Takes days and days, then they want to issue us a check for what we paid for the washer 2 years ago, not acceptable, because now the same washing machine is $250 more. I would never use Square Trade/Allstate again.

It was surprisingly easy filing a claim with Allstate. I simply had to get my receipt showing proof of purchase from Wayfair, go on the app, and create an account based on the product number of my recliner. Once I did that, all my information popped up, and it gave me options to file the claim. It said it would take 24 hours for a response, and it actually took less than that.
I decided on a refund instead of a repair. It could either be credited to my account or through a check, and I chose check. They asked me to take pictures of the defects on the product and said that I could discard it if I wanted to. Since I chose refund, there was no need to send it back. After I was given the refund, Wayfair gave me the option to purchase again. Through all of my experiences, purchasing products, I highly recommend customers to get the protection plan.

All of a sudden, the power quit working on the chair. The headrest worked, but the legs could not be lifted. It was a power lift chair and none of the bottom part would work so we opened up a claim. The guy came but didn't do much. He just reconnected it. He said something wasn't connected right but it had been that way since we brought the chair home. He said there was nothing wrong with the motor and hooked it back up, and that was what it was. It is working now but my mom is not pleased with the chair at all. It was just very uncomfortable and they're not using it.
When we bought the chair, my dad was coming home from the hospital and he needed a lift chair immediately cause we weren't sure how he was gonna get up out of the chair. So we rushed and bought it at Sam's because we needed it that day. I didn't even realize that I put the warranty on it. When it stopped working, we've had the chair for a year. I went to Sam's and they said we have the warranty on it. That's when I discovered that I had the warranty. Then it took me a week to find the receipt for Sam's. I had to call and order that and had to wait a week for the receipts to come in. The whole process was not great.
The claims process was cumbersome. I went to Sam's, and they said I have to call. Then I kept calling to try to find out what I had to do. But I couldn't get anybody. I would be on hold and I got disconnected several times, so that process sucked. I ended up doing it online because I couldn't get through on the phone.

The light fixture's not working and I started the claim at the end of September. I had to report Allstate to the Business Bureau because Allstate kept denying me. First there were 20 photos where all the solar lights didn't work and they wanted me to take 36 pictures of each lamp individual, and put the time and date on it.
I asked twice to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor said they would get back to me in three weeks. He said it takes 10 business days to respond to another office. For two days, I got an email doing the same thing over and over again with the same reply. They need all these items. I kept emailing them back because they didn't respond back to me previously. It took two weeks to respond, and they kept denying me, telling me I had to do it their way or else.
That was unfair that they wanted me to take all these pictures. I don't even want the money back. All they had to do is to give me another Wayfair coupon. It wasn't even about the money. I give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe because there were so many solar lights that they just wanted me to do the serial number.
I buy a lot of items and the other day I purchased something that had the Allstate Protection on it but I'm afraid to use it because I don't know what to expect. Don't buy the solar lights. I have 4 acres of land and I put them on an outside driveway so people can see the lights. They're small lights, maybe 3 inches. They need to be honest with them. They know them lights not gonna last two years. They didn't even last two months. They took it off the market and now they got it back on the market with Wayfair.

Allstate Protection Plan was offered when I bought my $600 TV from Walmart. Filing a claim was very easy, and the interaction was smooth. At first, they walk through the process of troubleshooting, and whoever I spoke to in the call center was professional.
The turnaround was really fast. They gave me three different examples of TVs close to the one that failed, and we picked one online. It showed up within days. It was amazing. The TV was delivered, which I didn’t know would happen. Last time, we had to go out and get our own.
We would do it again. It all depends on what you’re buying, but for a TV, we usually do it.

I got Allstate for an air mattress. This was my second mattress that I had problems with, so I just added the plan. I filed a claim because it had a tear in the seam. I called Walmart, the manufacturer, then finally Allstate, then they told me to call the manufacturer again because they said it should under warranty. I went through like eight phone calls that day trying to get it resolved. Finally, they agreed that they were going to replace it.

I filed a claim to Allstate for one of my kids' bikes. I did it online and it was super easy. I didn't have any interaction with anybody.
They helped me out to get him another one. They said they were going to replace it, but then they sent a message back saying they couldn't replace it because they couldn't find something equal. They instead sent me money fast and I found something equal right away.
I always get Allstate and it actually helps me a lot. If anything is damage, I go online and I get a response right away.

I filed a claim to Allstate for a kid's tablet. The screen went black and it's not working anymore. I went to the website and completed the claim online. I was done within a couple of hours and they gave me immediate feedback. The next step would be that they would be sending me a new tablet and I needed to choose one, which I was able to do while I was still online within the same hour. It took a week for the tablet to arrive. I don't have any issues with Allstate. I am pleased that the process was easy and swift.
I had an issue with another tablet before that also stopped working and Allstate said the manufacturer warranty was still in place, so I needed to go through them. We don't have that tablet because it's too much of a hassle to try to figure it out. In comparison to that, I was completely satisfied with the recent tablet. When everything is electronic and we depend so much on these electronic devices, it's good to have a warranty.
