I submitted a claim to SquareTrade because my son spilled liquid on the laptop because he was messing around with the dog. They said that they were not gonna be able to repair it, so they were supposed to replace the difference off it. They did the claim and they processed everything. I sent back the laptop, they said they would send me a check. They sent me the check, I deposited the check, and within four days, the check came back bounced. It said, "Return to maker." I called SquareTrade and they were saying that they don't understand why that happened and if I tried to get in contact with the bank. I said no because I deposited the check in my account, so now, I'm contacting the company, which I got the check from because my bank had no problem accepting the check. I have yet to hear anybody call me back about it. Prior to now, I would recommend SquareTrade. This situation that's happened leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

SquareTrade is a good company. We've had it ever since my daughter’s first phone 10 years ago from Costco and it works so we stuck with it. When the external speaker of my daughter’s phone quit working, we had to fill out the normal form – what happened to the phone and what the problem was. We live far enough away that there's nobody around to fix it so they just sent me a replacement phone and it all went smooth. It's a pretty quick process too. It takes about a week to get the phone and a week to send it back in. They do a good job.

I'm very happy I purchased Square Trade coverage for my Amazon Basics shredder. Within 6 months of purchase, with a very loud bang, the shredder failed. The manufacturer would not honor the warranty since I bought it on eBay, not directly from Amazon. Square Trade honored its promise and reimbursed me the full cost of the shredder.

The first time I did a claim with SquareTrade, I was actually surprised that it was so quick. It was within a week that everything worked out. It was for wireless headphones and since SquareTrade couldn't send me another set of the headphones, they just refunded me what it was worth, which was $40, so I could reorder another one. That's what I did and the claim went very smoothly. I did that thing online initially and then they sent me an email. They said I was gonna get the check in the mail and then I got it a few days after. I deposited it and I ordered a new pair of headphones, different ones, because they didn't have those anymore.

Signed up for two premium plans. Squaretrade started charging me for three plans. I went to the website to contact them - could get only the "FAQ" questions page. Even the link titled "contact us" would not give a phone number. It only lets you put in a subject, and gives you canned responses on that subject. If your problem is not in the list, then you are out of luck.
After searching through numerous links, finally got "chat." Time to respond is excessive - a minute or two for each response. Chat person obviously did not have English as a well-understood language. Responses ranged from basic understandable one-sentence answers (acceptable) to what seemed to be random phrases strung together (Unacceptable). Check their website and no matter how many links you click through, including "help" and "contact us," you will NOT find anywhere a phone number to talk to a live person. If you ever have a problem not listed in their standard problem list, then getting help is never going to happen. Horrible website, non-existent help!

We bought their standard protection plan for 3 years on our TV. We were told that they would cover anything and everything. Well, they do not. I should have learned from Hurricane Harvey about being totally honest and transparent but I didn't. Apparently, lightning hit close to our home and knocked out the surge protector the TV was plugged into. They call it a natural disaster so they will not take care of us. I spoke with an insurance agent and was told it should have been categorized as an isolated incident since neighbors were not affected. I tried to talk to them again and asked for a manager who ended up with someone in Pakistan; I could not understand much but did get that they still were not standing by their protection plan. I would give a 0 if it was available.

SquareTrade's protection plans are extended warranties designed to provide peace of mind by protecting against mechanical and electrical failures when the manufacturer's warranty has expired, or the manufacturer cannot assist you during their warranty period. However, there are circumstances we will not cover under your warranty agreement.
As stated in your protection plan agreement, we do not cover any accident caused or produced by any physical cause which cannot be foreseen or prevented, such as storms. Due to your damage being related to this type of incident, we cannot pursue a claim.

I bought SquareTrade for an electronic sharpener. It stopped working and then I called Walmart. They told me to call SquareTrade and just file online and they'd send it to me right after I file the claim. The claim process went smoothly and it was good. They sent a new product.

I purchased a prepaid phone for my son. When I filed my warranty claim, I wasn't even allowed to put in the correct phone model. It only gave one choice for a much cheaper phone in the drop down menu. After chatting with customer service and being told that my problem was fixed, it was not. It also took the representative SEVERAL minutes just to reply to a simple message. I had the phone for less than 2 weeks and am being reimbursed for $15 less than what I paid for it! Completely unreliable service! I will not be purchasing another "protection plan" if they are involved.

SquareTrade offers various resolutions for each claim. These are determined based on your device and the issue reported on the claim. One of our options is the Fast Cash resolution which provides the customer with an express reimbursement and does not require the device to be returned to us. Although a lot of customers favor this option due to the quick turnaround, others may not, like in this case.
We are always willing to reevaluate the claim to determine an alternate resolution when necessary and, as we did in your case, the claim was successfully updated to a resolution that satisfied both parties.

I Purchased a 65 inch Vizio television $1700 at Costco a few years ago and the attendant suggested that I purchase the $99 Square Trade 5 year extended warranty. He stated that if anything goes wrong they will replace it. Several months ago the television began taking longer and longer to warm up before it would actually turn on ultimately taking at least 30 minutes. I called square trade and they begin putting me through a series of self diagnostic checks which were ultimately just hoops that they wanted me to jump through in the hopes that I would lose interest. By the time they figured out that I wasn’t going away they scheduled me for a service call but due to the coronavirus said that the state was shut down and they could not perform service calls.
After I eventually explain to them that our state had reopened and was service calls were happening on a regular basis they told me to take the TV to a local repair shop and they would pay for the repair. I proceeded to take my 65 inch television off the wall and to a repair shop who diagnosed it as unrepairable. I forwarded that information to which they responded they would send me “options“ for a replacement. They sent me one “option“ which was a 65 inch Hisense that is sold at Best Buy for $505. They told me that it had similar features and was an acceptable replacement. I explained that if I was driving a Mercedes-Benz and crashed it, the insurance company would not replace it with a Kia and say that it has a steering wheel and wheels so it has similar features.
I have spent no less than 15 hours over the last six months trying to claim a warranty that I purchased on a $1700 television to no avail as of yet. Square trade is owned by Allstate and it is bordering on fraudulent the way that they operate. It’s difficult for me to believe that this is the same company that many people have rated with four and five stars. I will never! Never! Buy a square Trade warranty from Costco or anywhere else and suggest no one else does either.

SquareTrade will continue to protect the replacement item until the protection plan expires or the limit of liability is reached if the consumer's replacement device's cost has not already exceeded the limit of liability.

I bought a guitar on eBay and used Square trade for 2 years protection in September 2019. A couple of days ago the guitar stopped working with no musical sounds. I tried to contact square trade with no success, I signed up online on their website, and I couldn't file a claim. I tried chatting on line 4 times, with no success to file a claim. Finally the last person asked me to logout and log back in after 15 minutes to refresh the system, and when I did, the warranty for the item does not exist, information was changed and couldn't file a claim. And I still cannot file a claim.

The most recent claim that I had with SquareTrade was on one of the tablets I had bought. I tried to do it through email, but I ended up having to do it for a call. It took no longer than a day. Everything went well with it. I was able to take the money that they gave me back and just buy another one. I never had any problems with SquareTrade. I always got whatever I wanted.

I purchased SquareTrade when I bought the electronics from Amazon. With the history of that electronic device, I usually had a problem with them. And so, I felt it would be a good idea to do that. My claim with SquareTrade went really well. I got on the website, answered the questions like they wanted, provided the information, then we settled up. And when I got my replacement, I signed up for another one.

I bought a cell phone on Ebay, it was brand new n the box. I was offered the Square Trade warranty and purchased it. 8 months later the screen is lifting up off of the phone. It was not broken it was coming off of the phone and affecting its operation. The manufacturer would not cover it, said it was purchased from an unauthorized dealer. I was not worried, I purchased SquareTrade. Well I was told that it sounded like an accident and that they would not cover it. I was given no choice but to receive my money back for the purchase of the warranty. They don't cover accidents. IT WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT IT WAS A MECHANICAL FAILURE! The phone is coming apart and will not function properly! Don't rest easy people thinking your covered, the minute you believe they will take care of you, they will let you down. I won't trust them ever again.

SquareTrade offers two types of plans: Standard and Accidental. The first covers mechanical and electrical failures that occur during regular use of the item, and the second covers the same issues as well as any accidental drops or liquid contact. However, some resellers do not offer both plans.
After the first year, some issues with the device are considered wear and tear. Due to the issues experienced occurring during the first year, they would be regarded as physical damage and not covered under the standard warranty.

I bought a portable ice maker from Walmart and spent the extra $8 for a two year warranty, I'm so glad we did as almost a year to the date it died, Called Square Trade and they took care of everything, I got a refund to purchase another one! How easy is that!!?? I highly recommend square trade, we've had this on other items we've purchased and it has really come in handy!

I bought a 65-inch Vizio and the manager was telling me that the SquareTrade insurance covered all damages. So, we purchased it. I called the store first when I filed a claim and they did nothing. They gave me a number to call again. They said the insurance was through them so I had to call them. The rep at SquareTrade was somewhat helpful. When I spoke to them, I thought they were gonna repair the Vizio regardless of the damage. But then, they emailed me and said it was probably self-damage and they weren’t able to handle it. At the time of purchase, it was explained differently to me. It’s not worth having.

SquareTrade mirrors the manufacturer's coverage for our TV protection plans. Since TVs are intended to be stationary, not portable, accidental damage from handling is not covered or offered as additional coverage.
The SquareTrade warranty contract states, "What is not covered: Accidental damage, cracked or damaged monitor, laptop or display screens, liquid damage, lost buttons or knobs, etc. unless optional accidental damage from handling (ADH) coverage was offered and purchased at the time of sale with Your Protection Plan.
In this instance, we were unable to approve your TV claim because the screen had signs of physical damage. Unfortunately, none of our TV policies cover accidental damage. Our TV warranties cover hardware and electrical failures due to regular use of the item, such as the item not powering on, distortion to the picture, and more.
We apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding your item's coverage.

SquareTrade was the only warranty that was offered for the headphones. I just had to go online and answer four questions on their template to submit a claim. I also spoke to a rep who went through the same questions that I answered online. SquareTrade sent a credit for the original purchase price of the item.

This was the worst warranty experience ever. The website is crap, so many errors, it took me two days to finally get someone on the phone who actually did help me. Chat box hell with agents giving me IDs that were not there when I spoke with a live person, who sent me an email that sent me right back to the chat box. Will NEVER buy another SquareTrade.

I got the warranty at Walmart when I purchased my Lenovo all-in-one computer. When I had questions about the warranty, a lot of the cashiers were not trained thoroughly to explain, like they really had to pull pamphlet up and there was a lot of, “I think it does this or you should be able to do this.” There was no basic guarantee. But because I know about it, I took it anyway.
I was using the computer one day and Lenovo sent me a message telling me that there's an update that needed to be installed. I tried to install the update, then once it was done, it asked me to restart the computer. But when I did the restart, the hard drive crashed because it wouldn’t boot up anymore. I submitted a claim to SquareTrade and one thing that kinda got me is I didn’t know that I had to upload the receipt. The cashier didn’t tell me that within a certain amount of time, I need to upload the receipt so I wouldn’t have to keep it. Because when my computer acted up and I went to the pamphlet that they gave me to try to file the claim, the receipt was pretty much faded out. So I didn’t have a lot of information that the website asked me about. Luckily, it was just some numbers that I was able to see through the receipt. I put it in, and they were able to find my warranty. After that, the process was kinda easy.
The only thing I didn’t like was when I discussed the claims for the computer, they told me that the warranty doesn’t cover software issues and they told me I had to call the company. When I called the company, they told me I had to pay them like $100 just for them to give me some type of feedback on what to do. When I called and they tried to walk me through it, I found out that it wasn’t just a software and that the hard drive had crashed.
The warranty portion and the customer service were fine. They helped me right away. They explained everything to me. They sound like they were concerned. They wanted to hurry up and get the issue taken care of. But it's part of their rules that they have to transfer the call over to technical support to try to diagnose the computer. But the tech support kinda felt like they didn’t wanna help me. They kept trying to push me off to either Lenovo or they tried to get me to purchase the flash drive for the operating system through Amazon. They pretty much treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about.
I had to call a couple of times. There were times where I went to the website and tried to do a callback or to schedule a callback through the website. I did it a few times and it wouldn’t go through, so I literally had to call them myself with the 1-800 number. The technical support is the poor part. But the customer service and SquareTrade themselves were great.
Once I found out that the hard drive had crashed, I called back SquareTrade to edit the claim, and once I told them the issue, the process was pretty fast. They mailed me a FedEx box with a label. They told me to package the computer and send it back, or I could go to a repair center, pay for it, and they would reimburse me. I sent it off and I got it back yesterday.
When I got the computer back, the bottom of the computer is cracked. The speaker is cracked. I had to squeeze some pieces back together, like I had to put a little bit of tape on it. I took pictures of it. So I did a survey and explained what happened. I also did a claim through FedEx but it's so much paperwork they want me to do to try to file that claim.
SquareTrade installed the operating system back, but none of the drivers or software that Lenovo originally had in the computer that came factory installed is there anymore. It's basically a blank Windows computer. They wiped the computer completely. I don’t have any software. There's no Lenovo software in the computer at all. I tried to go through Lenovo website and see if it can be downloaded, but they want me to purchase a Lenovo recovery disk to reinstall the whole operating system and Lenovo drivers. But that’s 30 bucks plus shipping. It's like one thing after the other. Also, the power button is real shaky. In fact, I have to press it hard just to cut the computer on.

When you wear headphones a lot, different areas of the headphones could potentially break, which gave me the idea to buy a SquareTrade protection plan. If it was something else, I may not have because if it’s just sitting somewhere, nothing’s really gonna happen to it. But headphones makes a big difference and so, I thought it was important to have those. I bought the warranty through Amazon and I had to go back to them, go into my account and figure how to get that information over to SquareTrade. That was a little bit of an issue but I was finally able to figure that out. It was more of a user error. Other than that, it was perfect.
SquareTrade worked out well for us and I was excited. They were amazing in allowing us to send the item back and didn’t give us a hard time. So, we were impressed and happy about that. Having a protection plan is absolutely valuable. Plus, it was so cheap that it was ideal. It was a no-brainer to me. If it was a lot of money, I might reconsider where I can get another headset for that much.

Well I am glad the phone was replaced. But there was an issue with delivery of the phone. I tried to tell the agent they would not deliver the phone to the home address. She told me UPS would deliver the phone to my home. Yall need to get that clarified that the USP delivers the phone to the post office.

I submitted a claim with SquareTrade for an all-purpose remote. The claim process was just fine. However, it kept saying it was a phone and it wasn’t a phone. It was weird when at the very beginning it wouldn’t give me an option to select anything other than a phone. But other than that, it was pretty simple to do it online. They sent me the shipping label on email. I sent that remote off with all the packaging, and then they gave me a gift card. So, I was able to go back and purchase another one.

The process for making a claim was very easy & I didn't have to wait long for it to be processed. I would highly recommend getting a warranty on all future electrical appliances and fixtures. It is well worth a couple extra dollars.

Christmas gift, a hoverboard, failed to hold a charge. Filed claim by phone. Representative helped filed claim and initiated issuance of check to purchase replacement. Easy resolution. Anticipate check shortly and will purchase again. Good customer service. But review process not so easy.

I submitted a claim for headphones I'd purchased 2 yrs ago that had stopped working on one side. Square Trade was amazing, I submitted my claim & was approved within 2 hours. I had a check for 80% of the original value of my purchase within five days. Because of this plan I was able to purchase new headphones without spending more than $10 of my own money. I highly recommend these protection plans on anything they're offered on. $4 now will save you $50 in the future.

The whole experience was super easy and fast. In fact the whole experience took just a few minutes and I had my e gift card almost immediately! The gift card was very easy to redeem. We purchased a SquareTrade protection plan for $7 and if something goes wrong, you go on Walmart, file a claim and just follow the directions. I bought the extended warranty because you'll never know if something could go wrong and that you'll be covered. I had purchased a phone and it is all cracked up. It dropped a few times and the pictures are blurry. I'm not sure if the port is not charging the phone and so, I was wanting to try to file a claim and try to get another one. Instead of returning it, I tried to do a claim.
I'm supposed to send it back and then I have to print out paperwork and do all that other stuff. It's a headache to do all that and be able to have to send the stuff back when they don't send you a return label or a box. You have to go and seek out all that. With all that's going on now, it's hard to print out anything. If you don't have your own printer with certain things being closed, the library is not open where I usually print out things that I need to. So, I have been unable to print out the label.

When I filed a claim, there was a system error for a couple of days where the link that they sent me to update things didn’t work. But once I logged in to the account, there was a backway to do it and I got it all figured out. The claim went completely fine. This was the third time that I’ve had to use the plans and it helps on the protection just in case something happened.

In Aug 30, 2017, I was notified I was getting a reimbursement check from Squaretrade, from a care plan for a product they deemed unrepairable. They failed to deliver about 10 checks during aproximately 20 months. On May 2019 I requested a solution in the form of a gift card. They denied, and instead delivered to me a check, with the wrong name.
After asking again, and another few undelivered checks, I got one that was under my name. When I took it to the bank, the teller informed me the check had to be verified before being cashed. I asked Squaretrade to do it, and even the bank called 2 people who were the ones responsible for the account. No one verified the check, and I let some more months pass by. A few weeks ago, I asked again for a gift card, and they offered to ship me another check. TLDR, Squaretrade has sent me dozens of checks in 3 years, and none of them could be cashed out, and won't allow for any other means of reimbursement (they usually do send gift cards). I feel like this company is trying to avoid reimbursing me $300 USD.

I purchased a wireless vacuum cleaner from E-Bay with a Square Trade Warranty. They accepted my money immediately. After 3 uses the batteries would not take a charge. I contacted Square Trade for Warranty service. They wanted documentation on the purchase, which I sent. Since the item was purchased from China, the manufacturer, Auto Jare would not repair, replace or refund. I contacted Square Trade for refund and they refused to cover the item on the basis that it should be covered by the manufacturer, who will not cover the item. I have several Square Trade Items on different items. They misrepresent and refuse to cover their own warranty, so why do they take the money???

Everything went well with my claim with SquareTrade. I had a two-year warranty on a vacuum cleaner. It stopped working. The claim process was extremely easy and it was quick. The hardest part was trying to figure out the model number on the vacuum cleaner. Other than that, it was a piece of cake. I got some of my money back. It was a well-run, good process. I have no complaints.

I kept getting this ad on my email. It said to dismiss it and then it kept popping up and blocking my email so I couldn't click on it. I called in the claim for my HP laptop to SquareTrade and the rep was fantastic. He controlled my computer with my mouse and he got rid of it.

Tried 5 times with 5 different representatives from SquareTrade to file a claim (including a manager) to no avail. My Fitbit Charge 2 stopped working and the warranty from SquareTrade that I bought at Sam's Club should expire next year because I get an additional year of protection because I'm a Plus member since 1995. Sent pictures of receipt and member's card. I'm tired of dealing with this company, next time I buy anything, I won't buy SquareTrade warranty, they're useless.

I got an iPad 7th generation from Target and I have a million children, which is why I got SquareTrade for it. I also have other items and devices through SquareTrade. Having a protection plan is extremely valuable. I’ve had to put in two submissions to get the iPad screen fixed. And if I didn’t have that, I would have spent about $500 compared to just paying the SquareTrade insurance on it. So I saved 500 on it and I was pretty excited about that.
It was very easy to put in your claim online. But I kinda hate that you have to send in your item. Then there's a wait until SquareTrade receives it, fixes it, and then ships it back. If you go and physically walk into a store, you can get your screen fixed that same day. With SquareTrade, I waited for five days or so, even with the virus going on, and the kids kept asking for it. I would recommend SquareTrade to any friend of mine, which are more of the mom crowd of getting an easy fix

Appliances are very temperamental these days and electronically forward, which is not something anybody can work on easily and inexpensively. I got an extended warranty for my LG refrigerator and it’s funny because the compressor went out and it was still under warranty with LG. Nick, the gentleman I was working with, stayed with me through the whole thing. He told me he would contact LG for me and give them all the information. He not only took care of all that, but he also stayed on the phone when LG had questions for me. He said he would stay on as long as I needed him to. So, he was a rock star. He was awesome.
The claim was cumbersome at the beginning. You have to jump through a couple of hoops and it would've been okay if the hoops were brought to the forefront. But you have to go and make a claim, wait a couple days, go from another person to transfer to a different department and you have to wait another day. It’s a refrigerator, so all of my food went bad but once it was approved, they were fantastic.

If there was less then a star I would give them. They are thieves, don't waste your money, purchase 2 plans along with my eBay electronic purchase for 2-year warranty, took my money and never send me a receipt, when I called they said it's not on their system, I forwarded to them my bank statement showing that they took my money and the purchase I have on my eBay which has the order number and ID number. Still they said it is not sufficient and they can't locate it!!! And they are saying they can't refund me as well. It's been more than a week with the same outcome. No warranties and no money back even after contacting the manager. Finally, I got my money back from my bank as I filed a dispute and I am gonna contact consumer services. This is a joke. Waste of time and money.

I wanted to have the peace of mind in the event that something happened that it would be taken care of. SquareTrade was offered at Walmart and submitting a claim with SquareTrade wasn't difficult. Sometimes it gets to be a pain though. It seemed every time that I tried to file a claim, they wanted to see a new receipt or the original receipt. It was already sent, it's in the profile. They have the information, and then they'd say, "We don't have your receipt." So then I had to dig and find it. All that information was sent to them by the store itself for the most part. Walmart does, Sam's does, it auto-imports to them. Why I need to find that receipt a year later or something of that nature is difficult. But other than that, it's okay. Having a protection plan is very valuable. The scooter was trashed, so they just sent me whatever the QuickPay was. So, I got a new scooter.

Bought a Keurig and this warranty of Amazon. Great decision. After the Keurig crapped out, I was able to jump onto the Square Trade website and file the claim immediately. The process was simple, quick, and efficient. I got a response from square trade in less than 24 hrs and their offers were fair and clear cut. I went with accepting a check to purchase a replacement myself, the amount was slightly less than what I paid for the Keurig initially so it was a great deal in my opinion. I would definitely buy another warranty from this company and I would highly recommend this to others.

While I could not replace the item covered with the cash offer, and repair was not an option for it. It covered about 3/4 of a new one. After my purchase of Square Trade coverage for the item, I was still paying for 1/2 of a replacement. But it's better than 100%. I would buy coverage again. I was offered the SquareTrade warranty at Staples and I just went ahead and purchased it. I filed a claim for an office chair, which I’ve had for probably a year and a half. The seams on the arm were starting to pull apart and then, the same thing on the top of the back was kinda going against the wall. Filing the claim was easy. You just go on their website and follow the directions. I got a response the next day so it was quick. They couldn’t find the color match and I even went back up to Staples the other day just to see if they had something, and they didn’t have it. So, it was unfortunate because that’s the color scheme that went good with my office. They offered me a refund and so, I’m getting about 90% of the full purchase price. I haven’t received the check yet, but I had a good experience with it. I’m extremely pleased and I would buy a SquareTrade product again.

I purchased SquareTrade when I purchased my TV at Walmart. I submitted a claim when my TV had a line across the bottom, like five inches of it, and it blinks underneath that line. And so, I went and found my receipt that I had through Walmart 'cause they have an app where I scan it in. And that's how I got the information to file the claim, and then I called it in and followed the instructions from the person that I spoke to.
I would send some pictures on email so they could review it. And then they were gonna replace it with a TV, but the TV they wanted to replace it with was smaller and I didn't wanna downsize 'cause I purchased a 60-inch TV. I didn't wanna 55-inch TV. So then, they decided the only other way to help me was just to reimburse me my money. So, that's what they did. They reimbursed just the price of the TV, not the sales tax. There was a little bit of a delay in the response time as well. But it's the time of what's going on right now in the world. So, it's not that big of a deal.

I bought the extended warranty from SquareTrade though Staples and they explained it good enough. It worked out that time for me. I didn't think much of them most of my life and I never had a claim for anything but the girl talked me into it. I’m so glad I bought it because I had $200 chairs and they are badly shaped. They are only a year old but the vinyl is coming off of it. The piston for raising up and down doesn’t work anymore and I told them everything that’s wrong with it, and they said that I get a new one. Putting in a claim, the rep asked me if I wanted a check or a store credit. I said that I would take the store credit because I need a new chair. But I still haven't got my store card in the mail and it’s been a month, which is long for not giving me a card.

Unable to ship laptop because the Fedex has been out of boxes for a month. I am waiting. Have very little money. You should have provided a box with the label sent. It's costing me around 35 dollars to send it to you when they get a box on back order so I paid for insurance and unable to send the laptop yet and out 35 dollars when I can ship it. Not happy.

I tried filing a claim to get the crack in my phone screen repaired. The website was tedious and kept freezing. I made several attempts to file but I wasn't able to get any information unless I gave my card number which would be charged for a $50 deductible fee. I tried calling, no one answered. The online chat couldn't understand what I needed help with. I will no longer be using SquareTrade. The monthly payments I have made were pointless because I received no service.

My replacement TV came with box damage, I stop at the shipment at the door, took pictures, and ask the delivery guy to memo in delivery note, date and sign his name. I called SquareTrade customer service to ask if he want me to open the box. He said I can and take pictures if tv is damage. I did follow his information by took several pictures of TV damage and email back on the same day.
Two days later, I received an email said that I have to waits 7 - 10 business days for the vendor call to schedule for pickup then they send another replacement after vendor pickup the TV. I disagree with that because it not my fault to damage the TV. I been waited for 8 days and nobody call or email to schedule pickup TV. I called to ask the Manager when the TV pickup and she said is nothing that she can do. I have to wait for pickup. I express my concerns the TV damage is not my fault. Why I have to waits and my claim is over a month. She said is nothing that she can do again.
So, this company is not protect the customer good as they name their business SquareTRADE Protection. After replacement, their job is done. We have to pray for the replacement come in good condition. If not, just wait for vendor because nothing that customer service can do to helps. Ask customer to wait when it's not their fault is unacceptable and SquareTrade need to works in this problem to improve customer satisfaction. It's hurt to feel under the bus. Phillip

The hinges wouldn't even work to close the laptop, it was bad. I contacted HP to try and go through them first, but they were going to charge us a lot even though the manufacturer warranty was still active. We chose to wait.
Now that our manufacturer warranty is no longer active, I started a claim with Square Trade. They sent me a box with packing and a shipping label, I sent in the laptop and within a day and a half of them receiving it, I got an email saying it was repaired and being mailed back to me. We received it today, and it's beautiful. Not only did they replace the screen, but they also checked the fans, the USB and HDMI ports, and many other things and they sent a checklist to show what all they did to make sure it's in great condition. Best of all, it was FREE and took about a week total (including shipping time!!). I am very pleased, very impressed, and would say it's totally worth it to buy the protection plan!!

I did the claim online and they responded relatively quickly. I had to send in my laptop and then after about a month, they told me that they weren’t able to fix it and I was able to get my refund to purchase a new computer. With the warranty, it's very easy and cheap to get items fixed.

We are still working on my claim and it's been ongoing since February. They had to go back and get the other piece that would run over the AirPod so we could send it in. Once we sent it in, I had to pay for shipping for some unknown reason and it was about $12 and I did it thru UPS instead of FedEx. They called and told me that that was not where it goes, and that to send it through FedEx with free shipping label, which I finally got a shipping label just the other day. Now I'm waiting for it to come back from San Francisco, California. So I'm tracking it still. The process is a little difficult. I had to be put through several times because we got disconnected. I could barely hear them, but they wanted to call me back because I left my number. Other than that, it went all right so far.

I reluctantly sent my phone in for repair after going around in circles with an agent. Fist, I had to pay a $150 deductible prior to the agent even starting my claim. Then, I was guaranteed my phone would be repaired, replaced or reimbursed by a specific date. That day has come and passed. The agents on the phone keep telling me to wait for emails that never arrive. I'm told to give it 1-3 more business days but the agent still cannot tell me what my resolution will be. It appears my device was "beyond economical repair" and was sent to a 3rd party for recycling... So not only do I not have replacement or reimbursement yet, but they have already given my device away as opposed to sending my property back to me. I'm beyond furious and disgusted with this process, service level, and value for what I've paid out. I will be cancelling ALL of my Square-Trade plans once this one is closed.

Insured Shredder would not feed or shred paper. SquareTrade quickly approved my claim for the shredder and emailed me a shipping label to send it to them. They kept me informed about progress via email. It was returned it to me in a bit more than 2 weeks. It works great now. I am so glad I bought the extended warranty policy.

I called in to exchange a defective product. A 50 inch RCA TV. Any other company I've dealt with, simply exchanges the defective product. But this company gave me the runaround. The representative said I can send it in to be repaired and if not repaired then replace, which would take up a month before I could receive my tv back. Completely unacceptable; Especially considering I purchased protection from this type of occurrence. But I will never EVER use Square Trade again. I also will recommend people I know to not use them as well.

I knew my kids were gonna break the tablet at one point in time and I had to get SquareTrade for it. I got it through Walmart. When the tablet wouldn't charge, I made a claim with SquareTrade. I would've been much happier with a replacement instead of cash, but it didn't go that way. They said that I didn't have to return it and they couldn't replace it, so they sent me a check. And it didn't take too long before I got the check.

I have purchased so many Square Trade plans over the years and never used them. My computer and tablet both acted up at the same time. It has taken months to get things squared away, and things are still not completely resolved. I was lied to and treated rudely. Neither one of my claims is completed, as I am waiting on a refund for a part I was told was fixed, and my accessories were not returned with the refurbished tablet they sent. I can promise I will never buy these protection plans again.

I am beyond disappointed. I have a tv that keeps malfunctioning while we are being quarantined. In October 2019 I called Square Trade because my tv kept flickering on and off. The tech person had me show him what was going on on my phone. The only way I was able to get the tv to stop flickering was to put the tv on game mode. This mode is way too dark to watch all the time. When I told him it was not a permanent fix, I was asked to send pictures. I did that! Months passed and I didn't here anything. By this point the tv malfunctioned even on that mode. The tv would shut off and restart on its own.
I kept trying to call last month and I couldn't get through to anyone. I would be on hold and it would hang up. I finally decided to file another claim although the issues stemmed from the original one. I finally get through only for them to tell me that the warranty expired last month. Even though they admitted having issues at the call center.
Adding insult to injury, after doing research, I realized that the issue is a burnt out led light. The tech should have caught that in October when I called. Additional pictures and video shouldn't have been required since he saw the video on my phone that day and gave me the bogus fix of viewing it on my phone. I will be contacting my local consumer affairs department. The technician misdiagnosed the issue on my TV. Too many hoops for hardworking people to go through to get what was promised when we made our purchases.

I am adding to my previous claim where my HP printer failed and I was just sent a reimbursement check which I had to wait for. The claims representative was not based in the U.S. and this made it extremely difficult to conduct business. Also, during this COVID-19 Pandemic, it seemed he really didn't care about my inconvenience. Pakistan was where he said he was. A call center instead of an actual person that knows anything at all about my product.

Initial claim experience was horrible. First they kept rejecting my proof of purchase, telling me they needed an "Order Confirmation". The document that I was sending them clearly said "Order Confirmation" at the top. They couldn't understand. Finally was able to work through that issue. The second issue was that the only course of action was for me to have my dehumidfier repaired and let them reimburse me for the repairs. That was absurd. These units are sealed units and basically cannot be repaired, at least for a reasonable amount.
I wrote a review that someone at ST read and called me. That agent was finally able to resolve the issue and agreed that the unit was non-repairable. He arranged to reimburse me my purchase price. So, finally, in the end, it all worked out. But not without a lot of heartburn. Be aware you may have to take matters to the next level to get satisfaction. As they did make good on the policy, I may try them again for the new machine.

Purchased a $1,200 Vizio tv from Costco. 4/8/20 Placed claim Claim #: **. 4/9/20 only offered a $400 Hisense to be delivered by Best Buy on 4/20/20. 4/10/20 Best Buy called. I'm on my vmail, upon calling them was informed order was canceled by Best Buy. They did not know why, but rescheduled delivery for 4/21/20. 4/21/20 Called Best Buy after item WAS NOT Delivered within scheduled delivery time; told they no longer stock this TV and could not assist me. 4/21/20 Reached out to Square Traded spent over 1 Hour online with them, Square Trade is unwilling to help or honor the replacement of my TV. Bottom Line NO REPLACEMENT TV issued.

Bought a high-end thermal carafe coffee maker with extended SquareTrade warranty. Two and a half years later, it stopped working. Square Trade was so worth my money. My husband and I purchased a TV and were given the option to buy an extended warranty, which we usually never do. Due to the fact that the TV cost so much and the extended warranty was so reasonably priced we decided to get it. It was worth every penny. Our TV's color went out so I called them. I purchased the Pyle KTMRGS03 Marine sound system for my boat. It worked great all last yr but this yr it worked one day and only played sound out the front the next.. Contacted Square Trade the next day about the warranty and they sent me a return label. Boxed it up and sent it off for repair.. Within days of sending it off it was back. I bought 2 new OnTel swivel sweepers on eBay last July. I gave one to my sister, and she started using hers right away. It works fine. However, mine was bought because my old swivel sweeper was about to bite the dust. I just put mine to use recently, and all it does is spit the dust and cat litter right out the back. I don't know what's going on. I have used these sweepers for probably 10 years and have never had this problem.
I realized it has been well past the time I could return it to the eBay seller but remembered that I had bought the extended warranty from SquareTrade. I tried to file a claim, but the representative told me that since the sweeper never did work correctly that the extended warranty does not apply and offered to refund a portion of my warranty cost which was not acceptable at all. How can what she said possibly be true? The warranty policy even says you can file a claim three days after the policy is in effect. Help me understand this.

After our TV went black we did all of the steps recommended in the documentation that we had, we called Square Trade after we got our order documentation. We called and we got a customer service contact who reviewed with us further steps to take to find the problem. After we identified the real problem, he stated that it could not be fixed and told us that we would receive a refund and we did. We purchased a new TV and add square trade insurance on that TV.

I'm very well pleased with SquareTrade and how my claim was handled. The heater would light, but it wouldn't stay lit. We troubleshot it and realized that it was not working. I got in touch with SquareTrade. I've never had to file a claim for anything before and didn't know what to expect. I thought that maybe they prorate. I was very happy to know that what I thought was gonna happen did happen.
I shared my experience with people that I work with and other family members. In fact, my husband did the same when he was talking with his brother about it. I am so glad that I purchased the extended warranty from SquareTrade. From now on, whenever I purchase anything, I'm going to make certain that I purchase an extended warranty. I have two other items that I purchased extended warranties on, and hopefully, I won't have to use it. However, it is good to have the warranty and it really does work. If you have a problem with your product, SquareTrade would stand by it.

The HP printer I purchased in June of 2018 kept sending a paper jam message. After checking several times for a jam and finding nothing, the printer eventually refused to turn off so I unplugged it and started a claim. I purchased this policy out of response to a good sales person at Office Depot. Not reading the details. I’m a retired automotive service manager and I know better. Your paperwork says it’s a two year warranty when in all honesty, it’s only a one year warranty because the first year is covered by the manufacturer. Luckily, this claim came just before the end of the the coverage. My biggest problem is that my circumstances were not considered when the final decision was made on my claim. And I had already done things to make the claim easy on SquareTrade due to these pandemic times.
I was reimbursed for my original purchase around a week after filing a request for repairs. I was unable to convince the claims rep to send me the part and allow me to make the repairs. Understanding that isn’t a normal way, but neither are these times. The rep did not want to ship me a replacement or have mine shipped to you, due to the expense involved. So I got a check a week later, and I just got my replacement printer installed today, April 19, 2020. My business has been without the necessary use of a printer for close to 5 weeks. But I did purchase another HP product. And another SquareTrade warranty.
I’m just not feeling all warm and fuzzy about it. I’ve spent money for everything I’ve received. I’ve been tolerant. I’ve been patient. But none of this brought me any satisfaction. I feel the rep or his manager could have offered me something against my next purchase. Something to save my valued business and to offset the many weeks and my falling behind on my own work. Instead, he heard my request. He just didn’t listen.

When the computer died, SquareTrade wanted us to send the computer back to them and then they'd send it back with a new cord. It was the cord that was broken and I said I would not send our computer. We went back and forth several times. The discussion took about an hour or so and it got escalated twice. The people we talked to were pleasant, but it seemed that they were working off of a script for certain things that they had to say or ask. Then it took them a long time to understand something even though we explained it to them. It was very frustrating. Then they finally agreed to let us go to a local place, buy the cord, send the receipt and reimburse us. We went to a local place that day, got a cord and it was done.

I purchased a Crossly CD/Radio/Alarm from Amazon with a warranty from SquareTrade.com. The clock ran fast. I put in a claim. They said they fixed it. They did not. It took about three months to show that it was still running fast. I called and they said the warranty was "completed" which means they spent as much money as the item cost attempting to fix it so the warranty is no longer good even though there was two more years on the warranty. After arguing with them online and being transferred to a supervisor, with more arguing, they finally offered to send me a check for the cost of the item. I should not have had to go through that. Their warranty only covers one attempt and they do not guarantee their work.

I've always had weird luck with stuff like lawnmowers and weed eaters so I add a protection plan just in case. I bought a lawnmower through Walmart and they offered SquareTrade. I used the lawnmower for seven months and then I didn’t use it for a while. I changed the oil, the gas, air filter, spark plug, and all that stuff out and went to start it but it wouldn’t start. I looked at it and did everything I could think of. I called SquareTrade and they told me that it would be cheaper to replace than it would be to fix it so they paid me to do that. I got all the information of whatever I would need as far as the receipt and that information. Then, I called the number on that and submitted over the phone. It was a pretty simple and straightforward process. SquareTrade was an easy company to work with.

My iPhone 8+ button was malfunctioning. I filed a claim and took it to one of their recommended local repair shop Ubreakifix in Valrico. They checked my phone and said it could not be repaired because the microchip on the home button is broken. And they'd have to replace the phone's whole chips and it's better off getting a new iPhone.
I called Squaretrade, I was put on hold for so many times, telling me to hold for a few minutes like every 10 minutes. It took me 1 hour on the phone on and off hold. I work as a nurse during the height of the Covid pandemic and told them I need my phone if my work needs to call me back to work. And I only have the iPhone I have now that has home button broken. They would still want me to send them the phone that would leave me without a phone for at least 3 days. This may sound selfish and inconsiderate, but I'm also trying to keep myself available to help sick patients. I wish SQUARETRADE can stand behind the Frontliners fight the battle against the COVID 19 pandemic like everybody else in the country.

iPhone X was not working after being dropped - took it locally to a SquareTrade endorsed company, but they were not able to fix. On April 7th, I was instructed to mail in the phone via FedEx and was told the entire process should take 3 days. I carefully followed the shipping instructions sent via email with the mailing label. As deliveries had already been picked up for the day, the phone was sent on 4/8 and received 4/9. On April 10th, the status of the claim online changed to "BER." Beyond Repair, perhaps? New phone received on 4/13. Much to my surprise and frustration, the phone arrived without a SIM card.
I placed a call to SquareTrade today, 4/13, and was told the claims agent I spoke with on 4/7 should have told me to take the SIM card out before mailing. I was never instructed to remove the SIM card. Furthermore, if you are going to email step-by-step instructions for mailing in the phone, why would you not include such a critical piece of information? The agent today told me my request for a SIM card has been "expedited" and I should expect to hear from an agent within "24 hours." What constitutes expedited? I am now six days into this process with no resolution.

When I contacted the phone number provided to file a claim and about the problem, I was skeptical. But, they provided me with the instructions needed to file the claim and how to provide the pictures they needed to evaluate my claim. Once I was able to provide them the information and pictures the needed they were quick to respond with what was going to happen next. They wanted me to send my TV back for repairs and that they would end me a box to ship it to the repair location.
I live in a rural area of New Mexico and it took awhile for the shipping box to arrive, plus it was awhile before I could get help to place the TV into the box. But before we could shipping the TV back it the picture went out completely. Once we got the TV packaged up I found out there was no shipping instructions or shipping label to ship it back. I called the number they had provided earlier and left a message. They got back to me quickly and we discussed the new problem. They then reevaluated the claim and provided me with a new replacement TV of my choosing. The TV was ordered and shipped to me within a week as promised. I am very satisfied, plus they advised me my new TV was covered under the original insurance that I purchased through Walmart for my original TV.

We were watching at nighttime and the Hisense TV was working perfectly. The next day, I turned it on in the morning and the TV was completely full of color lines. It didn't have any sound or pictures. I purchased a SquareTrade guarantee in the store so I followed all the steps to do the claim. They asked me to send pictures to an email so I did. They wanted to see the pictures if they could send a person to repair the TV. But maybe it wasn’t good for repair so they just sent me an email that they were gonna replace the TV. These people from Square Trade are thieves!!! Never buy an insurance with this company. They guarantee nothing. I opened a claim and provided all information and documents requested, they confirmed the payment of my repair but they paid nothing. I ask them where is my payment that I never received and they just tell me that it is too late and they will pay nothing. Unprofessional and unacceptable practices from a company who generate billions of dollars. Don't trust them!!! Never!!!

When we offer the consumer a local repair resolution, the consumer is approved to have their device fixed by a repair shop within their surrounding area. Once an item has been restored, we ask our consumers to provide us with a copy of the invoice so that we can reimburse for the fees accrued. Since claims have a limit of 90 days of inactivity before they are closed, we require a new claim once the limit is reached. My printer wanted to print everything as a cd and the return tray came out and wouldn’t go back. This was my first dealing with Square Trade and it was great. The only problem I had was getting a big box to put it in because I was 2 + years into the warranty and thrown original away. Everything went well and in 2 weeks had my printer back perfect. I was hoping that SquareTrade could repair my son’s mechanical horse because it wasn’t in my budget to buy a new one. But they said it was an electrical problem with the actual company that produces it. So, they just paid around $100 and I paid $280 for it. When submitting the claim online, it kept referring me back to calling them. Then when I would call them, they would refer me back to the website. I went back-and-forth like that for about eight different times till I got ahold of this very nice young lady in customer service. She told me to call the company that produces the horse and tell them what was going on with them. If there was an electrical issue that they couldn't fix, they should email me a letter saying that they couldn’t fix it and the warranty wouldn’t cover it.

So, they sent me the letter. I got in contact again with the young lady and she submitted my claim. Within half an hour, I had the gift card already in my email with the $113 they paid me back for the horse ‘cause they couldn’t get it fixed. The young lady was very helpful and she didn’t mind helping. It seemed like the other customer service agents from SquareTrade didn’t wanna help me at all. They just kept me referring me back to the website.

Great customer service! Only complaints would be the technology on a couple of the calls was kind of tough, very scratchy and difficult to hear. The other would be that I had to call back a handful of times sending pictures or getting other info, and I had to go all the way through the prompts from the beginning and all the transfers. I told them the troubleshooting I had tried on my own, and the things the TV manufacturer asked me to do, and ST reps accepted that, did not ask me to do the same things again, saving me time. Overall, would definitely purchase from SquareTrade again. New TV arrived within a week, undamaged. Great customer service!

I had bought Plugfones before and they have a tendency to break. If they break within the period, I like that I would be able to get another pair without having to buy them. Great customer protection company. Our 55” tv would not turn on. We called SquareTrade about the problem and they walked us through steps to make sure it was an equipment malfunction. They were polite and understood our concern. After confirming it was a equipment problem, they contacted their tv Dept. The representative was knowledgeable and friendly and rapidly proceeded through the process. To our delight she let us know that we would be receiving a Brand new replacement tv. She said it may take a week to 10 days, but the tv was delivered to our home in 4 days. We would recommend Square Trade to anyone who purchases expensive electronic equipment.

If I didn’t have a plan, if I broke my phone again or lost it or got it wet, I would have no recourse but to buy another one and SquareTrade helped me out with that protection. Recently, my phone got wet. My carrier gave me a phone number. I called the number and told them what the deal was. They got the phone in the mail to me and took the claim. It was easy. This product is not worth the money when you have to fight to get your money back. I sent in a tv to be repaired and they sent it back fixed (or so they say) worked for a week and then it completely quit working. They told me I would get a new box to ship it back and they would fix again... but didn’t and because I complained about it they told me I would get a refund for the cost of the tv which I am still waiting for three weeks later after they told me three weeks ago that they would send a check and never did. I will never use them again. They lie like it’s no big deal... and you're in the “good hands” people... HAH.

I thought the hoverboard was warrantied through the store, but I was informed by the lady that the insurance was through SquareTrade and I was told to submit a claim to them. But I didn't know how long this claim was gonna take, so I ended up buying another overboard. I didn’t want another product that I would have to deal with and mail it back-and-forth. So, SquareTrade just ended up giving me partial credit for the amount of time I used it. The agent who handled my particular claim knew everything. She didn’t have to boss around too much and get me the finances and stuff like that. It was just one phone call and I was surprised by how quickly everything went.

Too much back and forth for a $2 warranty. It took 3 to 4 months to finalize a $9 and a $2 warranty. It seems as if the staff was all to happy to pass the buck. When people are not satisfied with a product do not make them jump more hurdles. It makes things get to this point.

I’m a long-time shopper at Costco and Costco offered SquareTrade as a benefit to us. It’s a reasonable price to protect such a large investment such as our Samsung 65-inch flat screen TV. The TV itself was about either five or six years old, and for some reason, the colors weren’t coming through as clearly and as sharply as they should. After doing some troubleshooting and research, I realized that the TV was still under warranty. I called SquareTrade, did some troubleshooting and just followed their guidance.
The claims process was super painless. I like that it's very easy to file, initiate, and submit supporting proofs or pictures. The online platform keeps me as a consumer updated with every step of the way so I don’t have to be glued to a computer or phone and get notified of updates. That was extremely important to me. The issue was with the display and some with the LCD panel supporting the display. The cost to replace that was much higher than getting a new TV. SquareTrade ended up spending a couple hundred dollars on the TV itself. Although I got a model that’s three years old, still, it’s working and does the job. So, the replacement of the TV was much more cost-effective for them. SquareTrade is second to none with the ease of handling, professional processing, and convenience. I’ve been using it for multiple years. I thank them and their team for all the work they do to allow us as consumers to make good decisions.

My daughter bought a necklace for my son. We got insurance because we never knew how it would be with him. He’s 11 years old but he actually cherished and took care of it. However, the other end of the chain part came undone. I filed a claim and it was easy to call if I wanna speak with someone. They helped me out and sent me the gift card thing through my email. I just haven't been to Walmart yet to get it ‘cause with everything going on. Having this warranty is very valuable ‘cause my son loves his chain. We have all kinds protection plans from SquareTrade because we're a business. We always buy a lot of things - the computers, printers - so we always try to protect everything. My HP printer was spreading the color. It won't give me a clear result and it gets lines every time. At first, I went to Office Depot because I lost my receipt. I got my warranty uploaded but I didn't submit my receipt at the time. And then, I went to Office Depot and they said, "We cannot pull out. That's a year old." So then, we called my accountant because we have a business and had all the data on the file. So, I just pulled up all the files about the date and everything, then I saw it.
SquareTrade tried to help me out to fix it but they could not. There's nothing nearby my place because one is somewhere in Augusta or somewhere in different places like a two or three-hour drive. And then the rep said, "Okay, let me try something else." He put me on hold and then he said, "Okay, let me see what I can do." And then he just put me and say, "Okay, you can just replace it because we won't be able to help you out somehow."
I got not the full amount because I went with the amount and I lost it because I used their amount. It's not much but still, I had to put some from my pocket when I bought another one. It's good because they change something on the printer every other two years. If you're losing $200, it's not bad because still, you got 200 more in a new one. It's a give and take. The new one is a better, different version, and you a lot of upgrade things - it's easy, emails directly from the scanning and everything.

Replaced flat screen TV. I struggled to move the broken TV with each person asking me to disconnect, hold the button, etc. but ultimately you replaced my TV and I'm grateful. The delivery company did not bring the TV to my front door but left it at the cleaner's, and I'm lucky I found someone to deliver it to my front door. Other than that, it only took a week and I'm pleased with the replacement.

I received my Fitbit back on March 18th and less than a week later it was broken AGAIN. It's irritating to be told it's fixed and it works worse after the apparent "fix". It is unacceptable and hopefully will be fixed this time.

I had a SquareTrade protection plan for a dehumidifier. When something happened with the coil and it started leaking, I filed the claim through the Walmart app. It then took me to SquareTrade and I was able to complete everything that way. They sent us a check for the dehumidifier, which took about four days. The process was very easy, once I figured out where to go. I wasn’t exactly sure what I had to do. But once I found it on the app, it was very easy to get through.

Hours on the phone and honestly I felt like the guy was just trying to get out of covering my tablet though I paid for the warranty and registered it. It was a nightmare. Now supposedly he's sending a shipping label and I don't know if it's coming or not because of the coronavirus or if he didn't send it but it's been over a week.

When a claim is approved for depot repair, a prepaid shipping label is emailed to the customer. Generally, the claim approval email with the shipping label arrives at the customer's email address within 3-5 minutes of the approval. In the event and claim approval email is not received, we can resend.

Had great & smooth experience with using S T Warranty to exchange broken phone & key locater. Do want to mention that to help make warranty issues be able to work, you need to have receipts, pics, etc ready to send to S T Associates. I have numerous other S T Warranties and will continue to get as needed for future purchases.

I haven’t been disappointed in SquareTrade yet. I’ve used SquareTrade for over ten years for a multitude of products. I have filed many claims. The process is easy and I haven’t been given the runaround. Two thumbs up.

I’ve been doing business with Staples for many, many years. I bought a bunch of stuff for more than a decade. The manager would make me buy warranties on everything I bought and I would do it. I have over thousands of warranties that I had purchased because of this one manager. No problem. Years after, we started having issues with some of the stuff. I looked into the warranty, got my account number, and started filing. Then it came back that I needed to provide them with receipts of purchase. But this is going back years. The manager is not there anymore and everyone has changed.
I went back to all the stores. They don’t have receipts or they can’t find it. Some of it was online. The manager would just come in because it was bulk order, so I would go into the store, I would pay for it at the store, but he would do an online order at the location. So long story short, I don’t have the receipts for everything that I bought from years of me purchasing and we went back and forth, where they said, “Provide us proof and fill out this form, and on the form is receipt number.”. I filled it out that I don’t have it, and it never went anywhere. Until recently, we came across some of the receipts.
My assistant started filing and it eventually started working. But in the course of the last two years, I lost hundreds, hundreds of warranties that expired. It’s under my account and you could see it. If I log into SquareTrade, you could see pages and pages and pages of stuff that’s there. But for me to claim anything, I need to have the receipt, which is on my account. It was stupid that I had to show them proof of purchase again from moons ago because it’s already in my account. All information is right there in front of you.

When my laptop stopped working, I called and everyone I talked was super nice and very helpful to try to help me to get my computer to get going. My claim was accepted and was told to send my computer in so they can get to work.

Everyone I talked to was very helpful. After claim was settled, I got my new TV in 2 days. I would highly recommend Square Trade. I will definitely get a protection plan from them again. I have told a lot of people about my good experience with them.

I submitted a claim online and received phone call next day to get more details on the claim and determine if the item could be fixed. It could not be fixed locally and authorized full payment. I got the check within four days. This is, by far, the best warranty service I have ever received.

Received my warranted product back in the same non-working condition that I sent it to be repaired for. Now I have to send it back for the same thing and waste more time. From the looks of the dust in the fan, you didn't even clean it when you claim to have cleaned something on the receipt I got back.
