They were very nice and helpful with finding out exactly why my tablet wouldn’t charge regardless of a new charger used. Very Fast service and highly recommended. They kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and made sure I understood the procedures they were doing.

My television purchased through Costco with a warranty stopped working. I contacted Allstate Protection Plans who walked me through steps to attempt any simple fixes, then prepared a reimbursement which arrived promptly. Thank you for your quick assistance. I purchased a new television, also at Costco, and obtained another warranty.

I got a little bit of a runaround, but it wasn't due to them. We found that my TV had a recall through LG, and so they hooked me up with LG and they were supposed to fix it. Whoever they contract through to fix these things never showed up. Every day they were supposed to show up, they rescheduled. It was more than a month. And in the process of me calling about my TV, I had an accident, so I was hurt. So, I forgot all about it and then I'm like, "Hey, my TV's still messing us."
So, the day I called AllState had it done. It was perfect as it normally is. They sent the technician out and it took them 30 minutes to fix it and my TV's working. The money that I spent on that TV, I do not have right now to replace it. That would have resulted in me having to throw away the TV. But now, I'll have it for a couple of more years. Also, I bought a washer from Amazon and the company was shut down during the pandemic. So, I couldn't get the piece to get it repaired. AllState issued me a check and took care of it. The customer service was great.

The ice maker was freezing up on the inside and looked like a ship that had gotten trapped in the ice in the Arctic. Everything was flawless and very simple with the reps. I was very impressed. Very quickly AllState sent somebody out. They wanted me to send a picture and the only thing that I told them is, "I can't send you a picture because I can't get the ice maker out." And he's like, "Well, can you thaw it?" And I said, "I'm not gonna thaw it because when the guy comes out, there won't be anything wrong with it." So, they were okay with that and we did not send a picture and the guy came out with the part and took care of everything. So far, everything has been fine. My husband is anti-warranties because, frequently, they cost more or 75% of the value of the appliance but this was very affordable and represented a good value.

My cellphone fell. They told me where to go so I drove over to Batteries Plus. They were very nice and they took care of it. I didn't get a refund but they fixed the one I had.

I've used Square Trade for several years. My Apple Watch series 3 (which I bought on eBay) started having unpredictable battery problems after 2 years, so I decided to file a claim online. The process was simple and easy and was addressed quickly, My refund check came about a week after I sent in the watch. I am very happy with the whole process, and won’t hesitate to use Square trade again in the future!

Our Magic Bullet was making a lot of loud noise and it was leaking water. The rubber that was on the bottom of the plastic thing was malfunctioning, so that was why it was making a lot of noise. We just stopped using it and bought a new one. It was covered by a protection plan from Allstate and we submitted a claim through the online portal of SquareTrade. I had to provide my email ID that was used during the initial process and I made a claim. I got three options to choose from - get a payout, get it repaired, and get a replacement. I chose the payout, then they sent the check over to my home.
The claims process was very good and I never thought it would be so easy. I'm glad I took the plan because I had a Magic Bullet before and it went off in a couple of years. So when I bought the Magic Bullet the second time, I purposely took the coverage because I never knew how long this Magic Bullet was going to be perfectly okay.

It has been a month since my tv went out. It took over a week for a repair guy, if you want to call him that, come out and try a part. It did not work. After repeated calls of next steps I was told they would replace the TV. They offered a very inferior replacement. I got them to agree to a set that was very close to identical. But now it has been over a month and they supposedly ordered a new TV almost 2 weeks ago, and this morning I get an email saying they reordered my tv again. "Please give us 1 to 2 days to respond," is all I hear from my Hindu reps. I won't buy another warranty with Allstate/Square Trade. The process is painful, no one responds in a timely manner and I have wasted a ton of personal time just following up to get this replacement. And who knows when it will actually get replaced.

Allstate walked me through every step of my claim. I had to call several times my ticket was there. Each time I got a different person who was just as nice as the first because it was overwhelming but very helpful. Will definitely purchase this plan in the future again.

Although I encountered some challenges getting my email address recognized, once it was recognized, everything proceeded smoothly. I received instructions on mailing my laptop. Once I followed those instruction, the process was wonderful. I received emails which kept me updated about the progress of the repair. I even received an email that informed me of the date my laptop would be returned to me. Based on my experience, I can say that everything happened the way the warranty said it would. Although we got off to a rough start, Allstate did everything that they were suppose-to and I would recommend their warranty. The initial process was delayed by some technicalities which seemed absurd at the time, but Allstate resolved the issues.

I filed a claim for my necklace that broke. I chose the email gift card thinking it would be faster than mail. I have been contacting customer support via chat for 3 1/2 weeks now as I have yet to receive the e-gift card / gift card via email. I have been told at least 10 times the email went out on 10/20 however I have yet to receive it. I have also been told at least 7 times that a request was sent to accounting to send out the gift card. This is been the worst experience I've had with an insurance claim. Seems like a scam of an insurance company.

Allstate replaced my TV with proof of defect photos. It was a painless process. Delivery guys were good. Service was very prompt after determining I deserved a new TV. Only wish I could have received more than a 1 year warranty on my new TV. Happy Customer.

The speaker part on my headphones wasn't working anymore in one of the ears. I did a claim to Allstate online. I went to where the person's name was on and then when I clicked on it, it walked me through all the instruction. It was easy. The site said they would look into it and then they would contact me back. I got an email probably the next day saying I had a gift card amount to repurchase the product. The product was out of stock. So, they just refunded my money through a digital gift card. Allstate is good. I like it. I would use them again. If I had an option between something else and them, I would choose them because they were quick.

I bought the protection plan from Allstate Protection Plans for the over-the-ear Bluetooth earbuds and it was perfect because they got replaced. The company doesn't make the pair that I bought any more. So, it wasn't an even replacement and I had to pay more. But it's been two years. So, the price would have gone up anyway. Other than that, it was very easy to do and I bought the protection plan again for the new ones I bought.

They didn't have the computer chair anymore. So they refunded my money, which was good. The only hard part was sending the pictures. They would say, “Oh, yeah, the picture is fine,” and then I got an email 10 minutes later saying, “Oh, no, I can't see anything in this picture.” But it was the brightest picture I had. So I had to do it multiple times. They should have a better detector for the pictures. But everything else was easy to set up.

I raised a claim for my device and asked if they could do any sort of repair on it. But I got a reply that they were only refunding the amount and they were not going to repair it. I don't need the money. I was happy with this product and I want to retain it. I’m very dissatisfied with Allstate. I had requested a couple of days ago that I don't want a refund and I want the product. But no one has responded back to me.

When I connected the headphones, the speaker was real low. I called Allstate and then I gave the lady I talked to all the information. She sent me the shipping label and I sent my product. This was the second time it broke, and I got it repaired multiple times. Allstate is very efficient. It doesn't take long for them to send a new or repaired product.

This is far after the fact but upon reviewing my emails I was sent attached photos and links to photos of "my laptop" with the supposed bug in it. However the links go to SquareTrade's login portal that I need credentials to access. I had briefly saw a photo of a bug under a chip when the email was first sent to me. The attachments now are corrupted/broken and are actually html files of some sort.
I filed a claim in September 2018 for my Asus laptop. It was having issues charging correctly but would turn on when enough charge was in the battery or it was propped up successfully to make the charger connect and work. The fans would work and the computer would power on and be useable. I sent the computer to squaretrade via the box they sent me. I was returned the laptop with an explanation saying that my warranty was voided for insect infestation. However, the laptop was returned to me inoperable and would no longer turn on. I tried charging it in the same manner I had before sending it and it would not power on even when the same circumstances were in place as before.
This persisted even after I had the soldering to the charger fixed by a professional later. (The charging light would come on but the computer power light would blink in a pattern and would not turn on.) When I took my laptop after the warranty was voided to a repair person, he soldered the charger connection that had come loose (the apparent reason for the difficulty in charging) back together appropriately and the computer had no insect in it. I was and am very upset with how my warranty for a $1400 laptop was voided for no reason and even more upset the computer was returned to me non functional and I received no explanation as to how this happened. The representative I eventually spoke with emailed me the links mentioned at the start of this review.

Aug 11, Square Trade created Claim ID ** when I asked for a new phone because my old one wasn't working (battery dying, no carrier signal, couldn't always hear from phone speaker). Square Trade told me to replace the battery first because that was standard practice. I paid my $50 deductible and took it to the repair shop who also noticed the cracked screen. The battery bill was $57 after taxes, but I did not have the screen replaced. The phone still didn't work, so I contacted them again. Sept 28, they assigned me Claim ID ** to replace the cracked screen. Again, I paid my $50 deductible.
When I told Square Trade that replacing the battery and the cracked screen did not resolve the carrier loss issue or the issue with the phone speaker, they said too bad because I had already used the 2 claims that I had available under my warranty. I had to go to my phone company, **, and have one of their reps call Square Trade. After hours on the phone, Square Trade was able to offer me a $100 refund and give me another claim.
I never received the $100 refund, but I was finally able to submit for a replacement phone. My replacement phone was authorized on Oct 12 with claim number ** which did not arrive until Oct 30. So, to get my phone fixed, it took 3 claims, 1 call to my carrier to get Square Trade to stop swindling me, and 3 months (Aug, Sep, and Oct). I would not recommend Square Trade unless you have a legal team to fight for you when something goes wrong with your covered item.

I submitted a claim and was approved on September 29th 2021. Receipt was submitted for reimbursement on the 30th. Was told I would receive the check in the next five business days. No check arrives. Spend another hour on chat and emails, 16 so far. Resubmit the receipt. Wait two more weeks. Repeat three times. As of November 4th, another promise. We'll see.

With Allstate, I had to have so many different types of pictures taken for different types of screens and it was pretty extensive. The emails weren't the greatest. But when I was able to get in touch with someone on the phone, it worked out really well. It's just that if I didn't get in touch with anyone on the phone, I wouldn't have been able to move the process through. I had Geek Squad before and they had less resistance but that was mostly because it was an in-person. They saw the device and they were able to see what was going on there. That's just the difference between doing it remotely and doing it personally. Overall, I'm happy with how it all played out. In fact, because of the warranty, I’m debating where I'm going to buy my next TV because of how good it was.

Being that it was my first big-screen purchase, I bought a protection plan. All of a sudden, I needed it. The first lady that I talked to had me check a couple of things. I didn't know there was a reset button on the TV and she told me where that was. I tried it and didn't work so she said okay and on we went. I still haven't exchanged it. But they sent me the gift card through email so I got that saved for whenever I needed to.

When I tried to apply, it was a little difficult but everything is okay. I called Allstate. They told me we would get the number for the iPad. I got all the information, the rep sent me a link and told me, "Just fill out whatever is there and send it and they're gonna give you a shipping label and that's it." The first time, the lady helped me to do everything. But in this case, no. Only the guy told me, "Don't do this and that," and that's it. Now I'm guessing if it's the right one or not because I never did this one before. For me, it was different. The lady sent me the shipping label. I didn't have to fill anything. But they inspected the unit and they sent me the free label.

I have an Allstate protection plan for my 32" Sceptre TV. I called their number to submit a claim and I told them what the problem was. For some reason, the buttons wouldn't work. They told me to do a series of tests and those didn't work, so they told me that they would just do a reimbursement. They sent me a gift card. They were very professional. Allstate is pretty good, and the coverage came in handy when I had my issue with a device.

The last person did a good job and understood my issue. The previous one was totally clueless. She told me the remote was solar powered which was totally incorrect. The last person listened to my concern and corrected the situation by providing me a replacement remote.

Even though we gave so many details, Allstate still asks for them continuously. Whenever they would review those, they could call us then they could check. But good thing we may not do that in writing. Sometimes, it gives me a problem. Other than that, the coverage is very good especially for the people who work with most of the higher electronic things. It is good to take it.

It is always a sad situation when a consumer is ignored and or mistreated to the point where they must file a complaint in order to get their issue heard and resolved. The Square Trade folks did finally make this issue right, BUT it is just ridiculous that it wasn't handled appropriately to begin with.

The warranty paperwork states under provision clause #7 that if cash claim is offered it would be equal to a similar item with similar features/benefits. I was initially only offered $328.00 on a 22 month old 55 inch television that I got on a black Friday sale. The same size, brand, and model is currently $600.00. HOW IS THAT EVEN CLOSE to resolving my situation in a fair manner?
It took 2 different people and 3 calls to get another offer. This time it was $378.00. The rep. said that that was all they could do. I tried to explain that your own warranty paperwork states I would get it either replaced with a like model OR an appropriate cash settlement that would buy a like model. After over an hour I was offered $400.00. I was in absolute tears, stressed out, and exhausted (which is a crappy place to be as a stage 4 cancer patient ). As it is I can't afford to get another quality 55 inch Samsung T.V. of similar quality and value. Now I have no television in my living room, because anything smaller I wouldn't be able to properly see the screen.
I bought the warranty because I wanted my T.V. repaired or replaced with a similar quality should anything happen. After all, THAT is what Square Trade by Allstate promises in their paperwork. However, that is not what they delivered. The warranty was NOT supported nor honored by this fraudulent advertisement. I am so upset, as T.V. is about the only thing I can even do right now. Chemotherapy is a beast, so t.v. WAS my lifeline. Thanks to this crappy resolution this company literally cut off my lifeline. I couldn't be more disappointed and disgusted with Square Trade by All-State.

Poor mediocre service slow, slow, slow on compensation. Authentically genuinely fake. Put your compensation where your mouth is and your Bank book. Allstate is sad and their auxiliary coverages companies. Send the damn check and I'll tell you exactly how good and bad you are.

Bought my TV from Costco & customer service explained benefit of purchasing extended protection plan, so I got it. TV malfunctioned after 3 years. Agent extremely helpful & kind. After troubleshooting, determined TV could not be repaired. My full purchase price refunded promptly. 200% will purchase next TV from Costco & buy Allstate warranty again.

I had a wonderful experience. It was easy and quick. I made a claim on a weekend at a late hour and they replied immediately, everything went smoothly. I had everything done and completed in less than 48 hours. They made it super easy. If I sent a email it was immediately answered. I would most definitely continue business with them.

My son’s PlayStation 4 was not working. I was able to put a claim in with ease. I immediately received instructions on what the next steps were. I mailed my PlayStation and received it back within a week. It is working good now and I have no complaints. Great warranty plan! I’d recommend this plan to everyone. Thanks Allstate!

I bought this plan for my Xbox with the intent of protecting it from anything. Which is what it "covered". Then when my xbox caught fire all by itself I was told there was physical damage to my system and I was SOL. No kidding, there was damage, it lit itself on fire!

I received a used and damaged phone with a scratched screen saver as a like new replacement for my damaged phone after 4 weeks of constant calling to file a claim. The replacement will break soon and is not a new or like new phone. I do not accept this resolution for my claim and will be filing a complaint with Costco for selling the customers protection plans. The insurance company replaces products with old and used devices.

My Fitbit charge 3 screen was dimming to the point I could not see it even in a dark room. Fitbit refused to handle the issue and luckily I had a protection plan set to expire in 3 months. My claim was handled with efficiency and kindness. I am very happy with the resolution.

Everything went smoothly filing the claim and getting paid. I assumed the warranty was already registered under my email, but we had to find the original info and submit it -- all good. Only issue is that the TV prices went up for the same model that we bought over 3 years ago, but we got reimbursed for what we were originally promised.

I bought a TV at Costco on 08/14/2017. 4 yrs. after the screen started delaying to display the images for what I used the wty. benefit that I acquired from Square Trade. All issues were handled properly since I made the first call and followed all instructions from the technical support team till we came to the settlement and I was reimbursed the total cost of the TV $419.99. Thanks to Square Trade and I highly recommend to anybody to acquire this type of wty. protection plans when buying electronics equipment, appliances etc..., because you never know when you are going to need them.. I sent in my HP laptop to have the keyboard fixed. They received it on August 12. They said it would be 2-5 days for repairs. I never heard anything by September 1, so I reached out to them. A customer service rep told me it would be arriving that night, and I would receive an email with a tracking number. I never got an email. I contacted them again, and they confirmed that (1) it was not repaired and in the mail, (2) that they only started to work on it on August 30 (18 days after receipt), (3) that a part was ordered on that date and had not been received yet, and (4) that only now had someone requested a further update from the repair shop after I contacted them twice. The whole process, with shipping, was supposed to be 10 days--which I relied on when I sent it. I still don't have my computer after 20, and it isn't even done. I cannot think of a way there could be worse service unless someone lit it on fire and sent me the ashes.

Sent my watch in 4 weeks ago and still have not had issue resolved. I had to contact Square to find out when I would get my watch back. They said they would get back to me. I was the informed that they couldn’t repair it and I would receive a refund. I have not received as of today. I think a month is ample time to resolve this issue. I am not pleased. The refund is only for Walmart so I am limited as to where I can repurchase.

Tried to file a claim for an item but it came up expired. The expiration date is today 8/17/21. Misleading and it isn’t stated that the plan expires the day before instead of the actual day. I’m stuck with a non-working item because their terms and conditions weren’t clear.

Working with Allstate Protection Plan was easy. Once you file your claim (provide all purchase information and receipt), you are then asked to provide proof of your issue/problem (video of the problem) then they review and return their result of replacement/reimbursement. It was quick and easy and I had a new TV in no time.

I have used SquareTrade protection for all my purchased items for years. However, filing a claim has been the worst experience ever. I tried to file a claim with my Coleman Hot Tub in 2019. I was given the run around by the agent and supervisor about uploading a receipt that I did and that I had initially uploaded when I purchased the warranty. So I gave up. However, the Coleman Hot Tub is in worse shape, and my Ello&Allo Shower Tower is not working and required me to file a claim. During this claim process, the reimbursement amount offered was less than the cost of the item, and only after declining the offer was the payout for the total price. Why is this your policy? It’s very inappropriate for paid warranty protection when I paid for both items' five-year protection plans.
And your new web design no longer has the information requested attached with your old web design. So now, I cannot see where I purchased the item, the uploaded receipt, or the serial number. Constantly I was asked for this information. It would be appreciated if you changed how you email your warranty plans to include the item's name or store purchased details and not just a plan number. I currently have a folder filled with “Thank You For Purchasing Your New Protection Plan.” With that said, I’m grateful that both Terrica and Vanessa were finally able to professionally and adequately process my claims. I'm just grateful that Allstate doesn’t handle my life insurance or car insurance policies.

My $1700.00 Vizio P Series, was a bomb from the purchase. I took out the Allstate Plan at purchase. In the 4th Year my TV blew out and everything was colored wiggled lines. I called Allstate and answered their questions. I was wise to take photos with my cell phone since the TV just died. I sent them all that I had and they wrote to me a few times telling me they were working on my issue. They offered me the choice of 3 TV's and I made my pick. Within days I had a new TV. The new Sony TV is so much better. Allstate gets A+++.

The TV that was covered by the extended warranty is no longer in service. I called to obtain service for the device but was told and in my opinion in a very rude way that my issue was a software problem with the SAMSUNG TV and that software was not covered. The TV has been taken to a recycling center. I have no intention in purchasing another SAMSUNG TV at COSTCO nor their extended warranty programs. You can take me off your mailing list.

When I tried -about 6 mo's ago - I found your webpage too byzantine to navigate. A few days ago, while complaining to consumer cellular about my data line, I also indicated I wanted to cancel my $4/mo replacement coverage, since it seemed designed to thwart anyone attempting to make use of the coverage being paid for. She - the ** rep - contacted Allstate and, voila! About 4 or 5 days later a replacement phone arrived (today). Thank you for the quick response. He was on time and contacted me before arrival. Apart from the remote hassle I dealt with and the omission of a new remote in the repair parts package, I give Allstate a thumbs up.

When I had a issue with my LG washer dryer it took a month to get a resolution. I called like 8 times and all I got was a runaround saying they are looking into it, finally they sent me a reimbursement check and now my bank says the check is no good and can't be deposited and I waiting for another resolution

I purchased a two year Allstate protection plan at Walmart for a toaster oven. A mechanism in the door stopped working this morning and the door wouldn't close. I completed an online claim and it came back as denied because the coverage didn't cover accidents. My toaster oven didn't have an accident so I called Allstate Protection Plan. The customer service rep told me that because of the way I entered the situation online, it was flagged as an accident. I explained that something just broke in the door but she told me that there was nothing that could be done. Simply put, Allstate Protection Plan doesn't stand by their agreement with the customer and I feel cheated.

I purchased a device that I wanted to file a claim on because it would not allow me to stream movies when it was one of the highlighted features of the device. When I purchased this device I purchased the SquareTrade protection plan for 3 years. According to the protection plan, coverage is supposed to begin on date of purchase, however, the company refused to file a claim for my device without a letter from Vizio. When I contacted Vizio they didn’t know what letter I was referring to and would not provide me with a letter to forward to SquareTrade. Then I also learned that if I filed a claim with SquareTrade, the warranty would be void. So now I have filed a claim and SquareTrade will not address the claim and now my warranty is void and I still have no solution for the inability to stream on this TV.
If the agreement between customer and company states that coverage begins on a stated date there should be no hoops to jump through to get my device serviced. That’s like getting in a car accident and your Allstate card saying coverage begins at the beginning of the month, but we aren’t going to cover you without a letter from your car’s manufacturer and once you file this claim you will no longer have car insurance. How absurd.

This warranty is useless. I have dead pixels on my oled TV from LG. After exchanging several photos, they decided I have burn-in, and not dead pixels. This is completely false. The photos clearly show zero color produced on a red screen and green color produced on a yellow screen. That is evidence that the red pixels are dead. But they call it burn-in, so they can refuse to honor the warranty. These are a scam. I will NEVER buy an Allstate product again.

Our LG tv went out after only 2.5 years. We received a new tv replacement by this company. They communicated by email. I was curious about tracking information, so I called the customer service center and they sent the tracking information within the next two business day. It was timely, accurate and an overall seamless procedure. We received a new television in 11 days. Thank you for the great service, it was well worth the $35.00 we paid for the extended warranty service.

I love the SquareTrade-Allstate Protection plans. I have yet to have a problem with an item I placed a claim on. As long as you have proof of purchase and are within warranty, they will send you a shipping label for repair or prorate your defective product. Well that's been my experience. Manufacturers seldom answer or return claims, but All-State is always ready to help.

When my TV stopped working I tried to troubleshoot it myself. When that didn't work I called the number listed on my protection plan. The lady on the other end was very pleasant to talk to. She went through all the steps to see if it could be fixed over the phone. Unfortunately it couldn't be fixed. My friends think I'm crazy to spend the extra money on the protection plans. They don't think that now. I had a check in hand within a week. I now have a new TV along with a new protection plan.

I started with the online process which as an old guy it sort of scared me, but once I got online it was as easy As navigating my email. When I was directed to contact live agents my experience was even better because the agents were super polite and patient. Computer stops when playing music and battery says 47% yet it is plugged. This is the third time I contacted you about the same problem. The issue is still not fixed. The computer stops while playing. Your worksheet says you changed the battery and the power cord yet it's still happening.. I did not have a computer for days. I asked for a place here to take it. They are an insurance company and insurance companies do everything they can to get out of paying claim. Just bought a 120.00 bluetooth headset from Office Depot in Store. My wife files away so many receipts because of our business. I asked the store mgr if they'd be able to pull up my claim if needed. He said yes. Not so, Allstate did not even know I existed. They required a receipt. I have to call Office depot's headquarters for copy of receipt and that wasn't good enough for them. They wanted register number which did not come on that receipt and DNA evidence that I'd been there and done that. The receipt had receipt # and item # and warranty item # including date and purchase prices for item and warranty.
They sent me 4 emails. Final one was to send them a copy Office depot had sent me. Then they tell me they'll have to find my account and get back with me in 2 or 3 days. Meanwhile I spent 2 HOURS JACKING WITH THEM AND WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER WHILE WAITING ON THEM TO MOST LIKELY REJECT IT. As it seems they are trying so hard to do. I will not buy another Allstate anything, God willing.

I bought an HP Laptop from QVC for my wife and bought the SquareTrade protection plan, which is through Allstate. A screw broke loose from inside the unit that holds the keyboard plate on. I called SquareTrade and made a claim online. They gave me the option of sending it in or taking it locally, and I took it to uBreakiFix locally. I got an estimate, paid for it and took the laptop home as they had to order the parts. I submitted the receipt for the claim to SquareTrade online and it was approved within a couple hours. I took the laptop back in when the parts came in and it was fixed in a couple of hours. I got a check in the mail a few days later for the entire amount of repair. This could not have been quicker or easier and I would definitely get another warranty from SquareTrade.

We finally received one of two check on Friday, no vital information on the check to indicate or state what claim number it went to. I will be voicing my opinion to Sam's Club tomorrow. We purchased this refrigerator through Costco and included an additional 3 years of warranty over and above the 2 years that came with the purchase. Happy we made this choice as the icemaker broke down in year 3. We called in the claim and the customer service rep was extremely professional and helpful, especially when it came to uploading documents to a website. We got approved promptly and received the replacement part shortly thereafter. Made an appointment with the designated repair shop and they were able to come out within two work days of when the part arrived. Tech arrived on time and installed the part. Icemaker now functions again. This more than paid for itself. It would have been a costly repair without the warranty.

So I hurry home from work and try calling, no one knows what or where my item is. They lost it. Well, two weeks later and still waiting on my replacement for my replacement which is supposedly being delivered today but again no one called with a delivery window. Talk about stressful. Almost better off not getting a warranty.

2. The printer display window was not staying in the upright position so I could read the display. It would flop down into the close position.
Neither of these problems were reviewed and fixed. The printer was returned with a summary sheet of what was completed. The only thing that the "technician" did was perform a print test and clean the printer heads. This is not the reason I mailed in the printer. In addition, the printer was returned damaged. The top manual feed tray was broken.

It was a pleasure to deal with them. My Samsung TV kept powering off and on for no reason. Once the required information was sent to them a new replacement TV was sent out. The only slight issue was that they requested a 10 second video clip of the problem that was less than 5 MB in size. The one I captured was 1 minute long and 20 MB in size. So I found some software that let me truncate it and save the video in a lower resolution. The size turned out to be 7 MB but they didn't have a problem with that. Am not sure how a lot of people could do that. Like I said it was the only issue I had and would highly recommend this extended warranty. If available, I will use definitely use their warranty on any future major purchase.

Was the worst experience ever. It cost me more money to fix it than to go just buy a new one... I sent all the equipment to y'all. Y'all sent half of it back and when I called to complain all I got was "oh yeah we don't return anything but the product". I should kept my cords and remote cause y'all ended up keeping them like how the hell am I suppose to power my speaker and subwoofer with no cords!!!! So then I had to go out buy before y'all would refund me. That was the stupidest ** ever. I will never recommend y'all ever!!!!

I was pleased with the work that was done. The turnaround time from sending to receiving was quick. However the only fault I find with somewhere in the process of replacing the hard drive handling and then returning to me, the power cord of my laptop, the part that plugs into the computer to charge it was damaged. It still functions properly, so rather than complain and return it and wait for another one weeks at a time I just let it go. Other than that I am very pleased with the work that was done. Thank you.

We purchased a refrigerator from Costco because they had the best price for the flex zone four-door option. Unfortunately, shortly after we had it installed our icemaker in the upper left of the refrigerator compartment began freezing over. My husband thought it himself a couple of times, but it kept happening. Finally I called our warranty service and they sent someone out very quickly to address it. It was fixed but soon thereafter began having the same issue. I called again and again had someone come out relatively quickly. We were told both times, by the same tech, that this is a known issue with our particular refrigerator.
Upon the third occurrence I relayed this to the agent. The agent set up another appointment with the tech, and said that if it occurred again they would have to take a different approach. Shortly after that conversation I received email notification that we were just going to be reimbursed for the refrigerator purchase. All things in consideration it took a relatively small amount of effort for me to use our warranty and I am pleased that they fulfilled their end of the contract as, honestly, I was not sure if a company would given the cost of the purchase.

I was beyond happy with how quick my laptop was repaired and being shipped back to me, but somehow my laptop was shipped to someone else, and I was even given the tracking number and thought the numbers were a mistake and I would have my laptop back without issue. But to my surprised, my laptop was shipped to someone and the tracking numbers weren’t a mix up. I was confused and angry, like how did this happen??? I had put off freelance work I needed to do, losing income until my laptop was found and returned and then shipped to me. Yes, my laptop was repaired but having it lost really put me in a financial bind that I’m still trying to recover from. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone after the mess I went through for almost a month.
I kept getting the same repetitive, “We’re working on to get your laptop back,” responses when I was suffering from losing freelancing jobs and having my reputation and work put on the line. It was frustrating and still causing some damage control in my freelance work. Honestly, your repair team worked great in fixing my laptop’s issues, but we’re severely negligent when it came to shipping it back; I trusted you all blindly, but I won’t ever again. I hope my laptop doesn’t break down again, because I would more than likely go into credit card debt buying a new laptop than trusting to send it to your company to have it repaired ever again.

Contacted SquareTrade and explained the situation and that I could not afford to be without my laptop for the time it would take for transportation to and from and the time within the repair shop. Square Trade provided approved repair shops locally and I took it to one of those and the turnaround and service was great. The overall cost was much, much less than the shipping cost. I had an experience with a customer service rep via chat. After receiving an email letting me know that my iPad had arrived and it being reviewed for damage; I started getting pop up notices on my other Apple devices saying someone was using my FaceTime and Messenger and iMessage accounts. The rep calmly investigated everything from his end and continuously apologized for any stress I was going through. Upon researching via my claim number, he assured me that no one was using my account. He suggested I call Apple Support for them trace what was going on. I did as he suggested and all is well.

Problem started February 2021, door gasket on the fridge could not be replaced as gasket is built into the door (4 door unit Right side top). After waiting for months I contacted the extended warranty co, and had to wait 50 minutes to talk to a rep. During the conversation the rep stated that I had been quite patient, and further the parts were not available. He stated he wanted to talk to someone about a buyout and would call back. The next day the refrigerator would not freeze. I called in for service and waited about 45 minutes to talk to a rep. She advised me that City Maytag would handle the service. I contacted City Maytag and was advised that service would be at my home on a Monday. City Maytag responded and performed diagnostics which revealed that a safety switch had failed. It would be 8 to 10 days for the repair while waiting for the switch. The door had been located at that time.
During the wait for the freezer and fridge repair I talked to City Maytag service whom I had talked to on several occasions while waiting for door replacement. During one conversation I mentioned that the warranty co stated they might buy us out of the fridge. She advised me that the warranty co told her that they don’t buy people out, nor do they call customers. She also advised that it was not uncommon for her to wait an hour while trying to contact the warranty co.
The problems I encountered starting in Feb. 2021 are more than a pain in the neck. The lack of parts for months, the statements made by your representative, and outright lies are more than a customer should have to bear. We are waiting for the safety switch part, and the recently found right upper door to the fridge. Further, the City Maytag service person also stated that during her conversation with a rep of the warranty cos he was told that a $250.00 coupon for loss of food would be sent to me, and we should use it. That never happened. Thank you for your concern.

My TV was out of manufacturer's warranty when the picture became dark and muddy, but I did get a Square Trade warranty when it was purchased. After Square Trade had me send photos of the screen and do a couple of other diagnostic checks they determined that a repair tech should install parts that they would send to me. When the parts were installed, the picture was still unacceptable so they replaced the TV with a new one, very quickly. Totally satisfied.

I do not recommend purchasing Allstate Insurance. I have been a member of Allstate Roadside Insurance services for 12 years, and have my vehicles and home insured by Allstate. I have a RV and this service, costing $104.50 per year, covers both the RV and vehicle (if necessary) to be towed. In past year Allstate had provided exceptional Customer Service. Three years ago, within 2 days of using my credit card to make my yearly payment, the card information was used fraudulently by unknown individual’s to purchase over $3000.00 of goods and services.
The next year, when my payment became due, within 24 hours, the card was used fraudulently again with over $700.00 worth of goods and services being purchased. To ensure this issue did not happen again I dealt with an Allstate Individual in the United States, Betty out of the Phoenix Office, who was part of Allstate’s Executive Team. Not only was I able to purchase the Roadside service but she was able to remove my Credit Card Information of the Allstate Data Base and email me that these requirements had been completed after the transaction was verified as paid.
TODAY, the phone number that I used to speak with Betty is no longer in service. The only phone numbers available are those that connect you to someone in India or South America. I even tried getting help from an Allstate Broker and informed that no phone number is available, other than what is online. These individuals will take your money with a Credit Card, state they will remove your card information once the services have been purchased, BUT do not have and will not be able to email you that your card information has been removed from their Data Base.
Auto and Home Owner Customer Service individuals, which are located in the United States, can’t help or provide a way to accomplish the things that will allow one to purchase the Service, ensure all information of the Credit Card is not left in their Data Base, or issue a Conformation these actions have been accomplished. After seven attempts the two consistent irritations are, those you speak with will not transfer you to a supervisor and they do not have the ability or will not transfer the requests I made to Allstate’s U.S. office. I have been told, twice, I will receive a phone call from a manager (Andrea and Maria) who will be able to assist me.
After trying for 15 days, and waiting an additional 5 days for that call back, Allstate has failed. Customer Service (Roadside Assistance AND Home and Auto) is poor and not acceptable. Recently, Allstate Brokers assistance has also become extremely limited. At this time I would not recommend purchasing Insurance services from Allstate, be it Roadside or Home and Auto.

On April 15, 2021 I purchased a LaZBoy Maverick 38 wide leather recliner from Wayfair order number **. On our approximately May 20, someone sit down in my chair and scratched the side of it, during my purchase from Wayfare I purchased a insurance policy, five year protection, which according to the advertisement covered damage due to accidents. The same day that I noticed it, which was approximately May 21 I notified Square trade, A Allstate company, and filed a claim online, the following Monday May 24 I checked the find out status, I was notified that I would need to speak with a specialist. On Tuesday, May 24 at 9 AM, I called the one 800 number listed, 1 - 877 - warranty, and was notified that the warranty did not cover scratch because it was cosmetic.
The point here it was damage caused by an accident not cosmetic, however they told me that was my problem. So I highly advise everyone to be very careful when buying anything from Wayfair, especially in regards to a Square trade insurance policies, which is truly sold by Allstate, because there is no way that they are going to stand behind anything that they sell in these policies. After doing research I found that one out of 100 ever file claims, so they are a bad deal not only because of Allstate does not stand behind them, but in most likelyhood you will not use them. They are truly a total rip off....

The TV would randomly turn off out of the blue and it was periodic. I didn't call and when I finally called it the first time, they said, "You should have called the first time when you first had the problem because that would've started this whole process." They were able to do a temporary fix but the TV had problems. It had the same issue then an additional issue. Then I called again with a new issue. Each time, they were able to resolve it momentarily but it seemed to come back up a month later. I expected a little back and forth and Allstate trying to protect their money. I totally understand that but once I got towards the end, I kept having issue after issue. I've called back probably five times in the course of three to four months and they kept fighting me.
The last time I called, the television wasn't connecting to the internet and they weren't able to resolve that. They passed it along to TCL because it was a hardware issue. It was the fifth hoop I've had to jump through and I was kind of done. Finally, I had to put my foot down and say it was unacceptable that they weren't processing my refund. They ended up finally doing that but it was more hassle than I had anticipated. But for the cost of the insurance, it was still worth it.

Diamond back elliptical machine stopped working, the motor gave out and was inoperable. Filed a claim with Square Trade, product was still under warranty. The initial paper work was satisfactory, but the loading and receiving of the receipts was an absolute nightmare. Supervisor stepped in, and from there on it was smooth sailing. Resolution of the issue far exceeded my expectations and in spite of the receipt issues, we are extremely satisfied and highly recommend Square Trade and the warranty program.

It's easier when you talk to someone on the phone because when you file a claim online, it's asking you for stuff that you can't find or is not available. But other than that, it goes through smoothly. SquareTrade promises if you have to send it back to them, it doesn't take long for them to send a box or for you to receive an item back. If it's not fixable, they'll reimburse you. They believed that there was a place here in Wilmington, North Carolina that could repair the AirPods but there wasn't a place here to repair them so they refunded me the amount of the AirPods. I tell a lot of people about SquareTrade. I've been dealing with them for a couple of years now and they've always treated me right.

SquareTrade worked very well. I was able to provide all the documentation they requested and the resolution of the claim was quick. I would encourage people to get a SquareTrade contract. The contracts that are currently being offered are not quite as favorable as the one when I purchased my television, which went for five years from the expiration of the vendor's warranty. Now, it goes five years minus the length of the vendor's warranty. But it's still a wise thing to do.

The warranty is fine - except I have an electronic TV and electronics are not covered under the warranty. The only thing that the warranty covered was mechanical parts so the warranty, as far as for the TV, was really useless. It was very frustrating to find that out. It took me a long time and many phone calls. But the interactions with their reps were always very professional and they did their best.

Here's my problem, Screen fixed no problem. Battery, had to contact them 3 times, before they OK'd the battery (by Batteries Plus). After that went way downhill. Home button cracked, they OK'd having it fixed by an Apple repair place. Made appt at Best Buy (20mi) to get home button repaired. Took it in, 1/2 hour to check in and test. Went back after 1 hour. Waited another 1/2 hr. only to be told they WOULDN'T fix it as the battery was after market and installed by a NON apple repair??? IF any iPhone has been opened by a NON certified apple repair, apple, or their certified repair places will NOT repair it. SquareTrade should know this!!
SquareTrade decided to give me my money back, BUT what a frickin' hassle. Had to find and order another phone, then ship the broken one to SquareTrade, then wait some more to get money back!! NOW I know what has to happen, ANY repair to an IPHONE has to be with genuine apple parts and done by a certified apple repair!

When we first bought the microwave, it never really worked right. The lights used to dim and it would take a while to heat up the food. Then one day, it just popped. SquareTrade told me what I could do is I could bring it to the post office and send it out. It was a pretty big unit and with the pandemic, I didn't really have a chance to take it to the post office. I waited for about three months and then I called back. I got a gentleman and he was very helpful. He told me I didn't have to mail it in. He said that I'm covered and they're gonna reimburse me for it and that's what they did. They reimbursed 95% of what I paid. I've told people in my family to get SquareTrade because it's worth it.

Everything as far as using the SquareTrade plan worked out great. The only issue I had was when I received my laptop, I received someone else's as well. But that was more of a FedEx issue and I sent it back to FedEx. Having SquareTrade is great. We've used it twice for this laptop and it's been quick and easy to resolve the issues.

Bought RCA 40" TV from WalMart. Bought Square Trade warranty good for 3 years, used a handful of times in my bedroom maybe 10 uses at most. Turn it on 3 weeks ago, screen develops a vertical line on the screen then the next time I turned it on a horizontal line appears, two now in both directions, I was declined repair service, was told it was damaged by an internal crack, I asked how, I never use this TV and never moved from my TV stand since purchased. They would not answer my inquiry on why it was damaged or how since it has hardly been used in 1 year.
They said they would send me a check to reimburse me for warranty at $8.90 but I am stuck with a TV that doesn't work and paid $180.00 for it, do not recommend this service, I believe it was cracked when it was delivered, from WalMart and if so it may have took time to show since I do not regularly watch my bedroom tv unless I am feeling ill from my chronic autoimmune disease.

The zoom mechanism on the camera became faulty and they fixed the camera. I sent it back and they provided me with payment for sending it back. It took three and a half weeks to fix it. I was just concerned that I wasn't hearing from anybody about the status of the claim. It was difficult getting information. They said a couple of times that somebody would let me know the status and that never really happened. It kind of annoyed me. They just repaired it and sent it back to me. I'd tell others SquareTrade is a pretty good deal, but don't expect to hear about the status during the claim period.

I thought the TV was gonna be under warranty where I would get a replacement TV. Instead, I had to go out and get two different things. I paid $200 and SquareTrade only gave me 168 bucks so I was not happy with that. It was probably my fault 'cause I didn't read the contract that was part of it. Other than that, I'm satisfied. They were helpful.

I had purchased a laptop and the cost to me was $700 or so. I wanted to protect it in case something happened and something did happen. The glass on it broke and I was so glad I had coverage. SquareTrade made it so easy to send the laptop in. They couldn't fix it. They sent me my hard drive back and a check for the amount I paid for it. I bought another one and that was why I got an extended warranty on the last one I bought. A couple days before the extended warranty was to expire on the new one, the screws started falling out of the laptop. I was having trouble closing and opening the lid. I contacted SquareTrade and they said to send it in. I sent it in, they fixed it and sent it back. It was less than a week. Compared to the price of the electronic, the cost of the extended warranty wasn't that much. I could’ve spent much more money and just lost the $700 I paid on the first one so I'm very happy.

I have two computers insured by Square Trade. I've sent one or the other in 5 times. The experiences have been excellent. It is easy to get approval, print off the mailing labels, and ship. The turn around is great, fast. Communication is timely and thorough. I whole-heartedly recommend Square Trade! (One time the computer could not be repaired; they refunded my money and shipped back the hard drive!!

SquareTrade is highly recommend. I purchased an extended warranty on my kids’ electric little motorcycle because I have four boys and I know that they're a little rough on things. The warranty was well worth it. One of the boys crashed and the electronic portion of the gear thing broke. I was having some issues filing the claim because I was using my phone and not my computer. Plus I had never done SquareTrade prior to that one so it was a little bit more difficult. I needed to talk to someone and everyone was super helpful. They said to contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer sent me the parts. I also used SquareTrade on my son's iPad and it was super simple. I sent it in and it was a week later it was back in my possession, fixed. I like how all my receipts automatically register and go with the account. It already has all my information. I liked how they showed me all my different things that I have a warranty with SquareTrade on.

I bought the SquareTrade protection plan from Walmart, and they said I got a three-year warranty on the things. I got them for my grandkids and I was thinking, "Okay, well, I'll just get the warranty. It's for three years." If anything happens, things would be covered. I did a claim for Air Hogs. It was not easy just trying to get onto the site to even do it could be improved. I had to call and try to get somebody to put it on there to cover it. Even though they showed I had the insurance, it didn't have anything I can warrant to be able to claim it because it didn't come under that category. I had to call twice because I had two of them, but they wouldn't do both of them at the same time. I had four of them. Two have been working fine. The other two can't charge them or make them work or do anything with them. I had to try to put in a claim two different times to get those two.
Everything was good after I was able to get through to them and talk to somebody, and they did it. But then, I had to go right back in there again and try to do it again. So, it took me quite a while to try to get something that I thought would've been simple. SquareTrade did pay and gave me a check back for a partial. We also had an Allstate protection plan. With Allstate, I'm showing a couple of things, and everything else I'm showing is SquareTrade. The AllState projection plan was the year warranty on it, which it was over, and then SquareTrade is what took over the next three years. I went to Allstate first because that was what I thought I was supposed to, and they told me no and then I somehow found SquareTrade, which was the one I had to keep trying to put my receipt in and it wouldn't go under anything because there was nothing listed for the Air Hogs because it doesn't have electronics. So, it didn't fall under anything.

My coffeemaker broke. Even though there was water in the back of it, water stops pouring out. On Walmart Protection Plan, I said that the coffeemaker was not pouring out water. They didn't have me return it because of the shipping, which I found to be so much easier than past protection plans, and then they refunded me my check. It was done within two weeks. This protection plan is totally worth it. I'm going to insure all my products through SquareTrade because whatever money I have to invest in it the first time, I want to make sure that it's a good product and that if it breaks, I know that I'll get my money back for it.

Your company refuses to honor my claim because the warranty expired one month ago. It’s the same issue I called about during the pandemic when they refused to send anyone out for repairs. So now bc I’m one month expired and that very same issue I reported on, nobody will address. They should extend the warranty during the pandemic especially since it just expired. It’s the same issue I had during the pandemic that they wouldn’t send anyone out for.

I had a mixer that I had the warranty on. I filed a claim for it and I was able to get the money back and got a new one. It was a fantastic experience and it was a very simple process. Everything was closed in less than five days.

SquareTrade was going to replace my TV as long as it was in warranty but that didn't happen. They said that they couldn't fix the TV and the next step was supposed to be them letting me know my options on them replacing it. They sent me a letter and sent back the TV saying they couldn't fix it and that they will be in contact. There is a number on there for customer service but it said that someone would email me with more information, which was why I didn't harass them calling. But no one has contacted me yet and it's almost been three weeks now since the TV's been back here. Still, people should get a warranty. SquareTrade just have to communicate better on their end.

On February 27, 2021 I contacted Square Trade about repair of my insured Dell Inspiron laptop. I was give a claim ID and told I could have it repaired locally at Best Buy Geek Squad which I did. It's April 30, 2021, and I still have not been reimbursed. I have called and emailed multiple times. Each time I call, the representative has all the correct information, including my receipts and assured me that a check will be issued within 7-10 business days. Then I get a follow-up email telling me that I need to get my iPhone repaired and submit a claim. My most recent call was today. The rep had all the correct information. Within an hour or so I get the iPhone repair email again. This feels like a scam.

I bought Allstate Protection Plans for my LG OLED 65" TV C7P about three years ago. It was a four year extended warranty protection plan. I called today to file a claim for green patches start to develop on my LG OLED TV, I was told to send pictures of the issue which I did. I send the pictures showing green patches all over the screen with yellow background. However, I got a rejection email from them simply asking me to contact LG. They even suggest it is a misuse of my TV for which I seldom watch the TV for over 3 hours a day for the last 3 years. Please stay away from Allstate protection plans. I thought this should be a smooth process of filing a claim, and in fact I was rejected bluntly and irresponsibly. If I know this is what I paid for to get an extra peace of mind with $299 at the time of purchase, I would not purchase it. They don't really honor their obligation to written contract. Stay away!

Using the SquareTrade warranty I bought when I purchased my daughter's laptop was easy. The warranty told me what to do. I called and they gave me to a technician. But then my daughter wasn't here, so I had to call back. When I called back, all the notes were in there from the first call. I put my daughter on and they fixed what the problem with the laptop was. SquareTrade works. They did an amazing job.

We had a Vizio TV and the motherboard went out on it. I talked to someone at SquareTrade and he went through all the troubleshooting process with me. Then he said, “We can't do this now. It has to be sent in.” We sent it in and they repaired it and had it back to us. The whole process was two and a half weeks. We figured it to be a month or two process so it was exceptional. This is the first time we've ever used SquareTrade and everything's gone perfect. My only problem throughout the whole thing was they gave me a number after I did the online submission. I still had to go through the whole thing again whenever I talked to them on the phone like I hadn't submitted it.

My claim with SquareTrade went great. It was a lot smoother than I expected. I just went back to my Amazon receipts to look and see when I purchased it. Because I remembered buying a warranty, I just didn't remember when I bought it. It was still inside that period of time. I just hit the submit a claim button and explained what happened. I was emailed a shipping notice and told what to do. There was only one confusing part, though. The shipping said to remove the battery if it's removable. Then another part of the process said that if it's under a certain amperage rating, to leave it with the computer. So I just left it with the computer.

We have the SquareTrade warranty for the pool robot, Aquabot. My email said that they could not repair it and they would be refunding my money that we paid for it. So if I can get my money back, that'd be great. The last person I talked to was able to get everything done for me in terms of shipping my Aquabot back. He got me a shipping label and told me what to do. So it all worked out fine. That was the good part. The first two experiences I had were not good. When they would send me a link to file the claim, the link would not work. It never worked, never has worked and I told them that. The first guy said, “Let me talk to IT and see if we can resolve it.” Got back to me within 10 minutes, said it's resolved, “We're gonna send you a new link.” Sent a new link, but it would not open.
Finally, he said, “Send me a picture of the claim,” that you can't get uploaded on the link, “and send it to my email and I will take care of everything.” I said, “Fine.” Took a picture of it, uploaded it to his email and thought it was resolved. That was the 1st of April. Then never heard, so got a little antsy. After about two weeks, called again. Nobody had any record of any of that as though it didn't happen.
So this person said, “Don't worry about it. I'll take care of the claim for you.” Fine. Waited, but didn't hear anything. Called again, somebody said, “I see where they put a claim in but nobody activated your claim.” But this guy took care of it. I shipped it in. They received it and they said it was not repairable. I would be getting a check in 7 to 10 business days. The biggest concern I had with everything was the inability to understand their English. Some were okay. Some were so bad, it was repeat, repeat, repeat.

SquareTrade was less than I expected because they never send a repairman to the house. My television was acting up. The guy just told me on the phone, “I'm not gonna send anybody but I'll tell you can do this, unplug the TV.” But I'm worried about it happening again and then the warranty's out. He told me how to resolve it instead of coming out and doing it himself. It was all right, but I thought it was different. I thought you call up, you have any trouble with your TV and then they send someone over.

Besides the fact it took forever and a day to get my shipping label and the claim to be accepted it’s a good deal for the money. Usually I say forget the insurance but I accidentally dropped the iPod and my 10 year old had kept it safe for along time so this came in handy. Communication kind of lacks - hence the shipping, claim acceptance, the fact it’s on day 5 of the fixing time and I haven’t gotten word on it. But I’d recommend.

“Green Blob” appeared in middle of TV screen. Blob grew bigger over time. Warranty Company called it image burn-in and denied coverage. However:
2) the “green blob” is a known issue with LG OLED TV sets, caused by back panel overheating
3) my TV is equipped with a screen saver

Out of nowhere, the TV just didn't want to turn on. I was speaking to some guy on the phone and he was like, "Try to do this or turn off to reset it," but it wouldn't turn on. I got a resolution in probably less than a week and by the second week, SquareTrade had already sent me the check. I could have not gotten anything out of it, but I at least got something.

The TV that I bought barely a year ago messed up. It started acting crazy and cutting on and off and wouldn't work. I really liked how easy it was to file the claim. I went to where I had purchased the warranty and it said "file a claim", and I did all that. Then somebody called me. They wanted me to send pictures and a short video of what the TV was doing. I did that and a day or two later, I was told that I was getting a reimbursement for the TV and then I got the check.

SquareTrade helped replace a washer that was only two and a half years old. At first, it was annoying because they said they couldn't find my warranty so I had to go back and do a bunch of legwork. Luckily, I still have the emails. Once I was able to give them the information and figure out why they couldn't find it, it was pretty quick and easy although I would have liked to have known. They made me do a lot of legwork in terms of recording the noise with clothes and without clothes so they could diagnose it from afar. Then they said it couldn't be fixed and they were sending me $900. The communication was good from that point forward and I got the check quickly so I was appreciative of that. I'll probably use SquareTrade again when I purchase a new washer and dryer.

A technician from Sun Appliances arrived to repair an LED fixture on my Samsung refrigerator. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. I could not be more content with his ability to quickly resolve my problem. Thank you.

I filed a claim for my mom's phone that fell in the water. When she got the new phone, something was wrong with the charging port. I called SquareTrade originally and they told me that I would have to contact the network provider. I did everything that the network provider wanted me to like taking the battery out and charging it. After I was on the phone for 47 minutes, they told me that I had to call SquareTrade and ask for a supervisor. Whenever I called back, I did not ask for a supervisor. A gentleman helped me immediately. But I was not happy that we just got the phones and there was an issue. I don't like having to stay on the phone a long time and trying to tell somebody it's the charging port. The phone had to be sent back in and SquareTrade sent a different phone. However, it's harder for my mom to operate it because she was used to the other phone and not the ZTE phone. They told me they sent that one because they were out of the Doro 750s.

I purchased my phone from Costco and the salesman made a good case for SquareTrade and made it seem like a better option than taking the classic AppleCare. It was very enticing so I decided to go with it. The frame of my iPhone bent a little bit which caused the back glass of it to crack a little bit. I was worried that water might get into it so I filed a claim in early January. The process was seamless. I had a few options which were 1) get it fixed here and have the check sent minus the deductible, 2) send the iPhone to SquareTrade to be repaired and 3) get a replacement phone which is a refurbished phone. I opted for the third one because I couldn't stay without my phone for so long.
I received the phone probably a week later. It was back and forth back then because I didn't receive any receipts or tracking number for some time. Eventually, I called and the gentleman was very helpful and told me that the phone was in the mail. I received the phone, activated it and sent back my old phone. However, the phone that I received died a month and a half later. Since I got the new phone replacement, it was in a case. I was making sure that nothing happened to it. I let it charge overnight. In the morning, I picked up the phone and it was stuck on the boot screen. I tried to restore it but it didn't work. I set up an appointment at the Genius Bar. They took a look at the phone and said, “It’s not worth it to fix it. It would cost like $500 to replace that motherboard.”
That was when I decided to call SquareTrade. The first person who helped me said they couldn't do anything about it because my warranty just expired. I was upset with it. I called a second time. The rep escalated to his supervisor or manager and he was super helpful. He understood and walked me through my experience. He listened to the concern and found the solution for it which was good. I sent back the phone and he said, "I got a check issued that covered that phone." I was very happy with that service. We're using SquareTrade for a watch and I'm willing to purchase it again whenever I get new electronics.

When I was buying our 4-channel security system, it was our first security system being put up. Prior to that, I was scammed a few times. I wanted to make sure if it came broken, I wouldn't be stuck with something that was broken. Every two weeks, the whole system shuts down and restarts, which is normal because that's what it does. One day, I looked at the camera and it was off. The time was going, but there was no video, and I was like, "Okay, well, I'll see if someone can come go up there, look at it, and see what's wrong with it."
I couldn't just call someone and be like, "Come fix my cameras." So, after a month or two, the tech looked at it, tried to fix it, and tried re-plugging it in. I tried restarting the system a couple of times. It wouldn't come back on for some reason. So, I got in my email and I tried to see if I still had a warranty on it because it took us almost six months to put it up. We finally got it put up and it was doing good for a while, and then just randomly went off. I tried everything to fix it and that didn't do anything. So, I called to see what I should do, like if there was something that could be done.
I contacted All State first and they had me explain what it was. I told them the receipt information that I had and they set everything up. At first, they were like, "Okay, so you can take the system down and send it in, and then we'll fix it and send it back." I said, "That just sounds absolutely ridiculous. I expected to either send it back and get a new one or something, but not wait for it to get fixed." With COVID, everything's so much slower. And I was like, "If anything, it would be easier to do what I just did - ordered another set." As these got taken down, we put the new ones right in the other spots.
The option that they agreed to with their supervisor was when I get the system down, I could send it in and they would just refund me for my purchase. It worked out. I got the money back for the system and I was able to get another system. It took a bit and I was upset at first because I said, "I don't know how you expect me to just take this system down and then re-put it back up whenever you're done fixing it." But then they said, "Well, you can send it back if you want, and obviously just get another security system somewhere from us or whatever." I agreed to that to make it easier. A whole swap-out. They did good with making sure that at least I got something out of it. I'm glad I have the protection plan. If I didn't call, it would still be messed up and I would have no idea that I could get it fixed.

Our printer ran out of ink, so we put the ink and it started working normally for maybe a week. After a week, my son was printing a project which had 100 pages. On page number 30, the printer started making this noise when you buy a printer the first time and it allocates the ink properly. Then it stopped printing and it said, “Remove cartridge and put it back again.” So we did it and it started printing again. Then after page number five, we heard like poof and when we went to the printer, it was full of black ink. It said to remove the ink again. We removed the ink and cleaned it. We thought that it was the cartridge that came bad. We had another one brand new and put it in but it kept saying something about a mechanical issue and it couldn't read the ink. And it was full of ink inside and out.
I called B&H to troubleshoot because I bought the printer there. They were really helpful and they got me to different steps to see what was going on. It was not fixable based on the troubleshooting. They reminded me that I had the insurance to call for repair. So I called Allstate and explained the same thing to them, what happened and that it was an issue with the ink that exploding side while printing. Then they told me that they were gonna replace it or send it for repair. I don't know. But I live in the desert of Arizona. So the only FedEx location that was close to me was closed and the other one was like an hour away.
I called FedEx and they said that the people that can request pickup was Allstate because the label that I had was for drop-off. I was willing but I was not going to drive an hour and come back. So Allstate told me that the other option was to refund the money. I was fine with it. The printer was here, so they just asked me to discard it. They already had the receipt on file, so didn't ask for anything. I got the money back and we were pretty pleased.

We had a lot of issues with the Nintendo Switch. It is not cheap. So I'm glad I have the warranty with SquareTrade ‘cause I’ve had to send it in three times, whether it’s the controller, the Joy-cons, the charger port, stuff like that. I don’t really think twice. When I have to call in and talk to a live person, that has always been pleasant. They’re always super helpful. That warranty with SquareTrade was probably the best thing I could have done. If I hadn't got it, I would have been buying a piece of equipment for my son, a gaming console, and we would have been out 300 bucks.

The power button which you need to operate the induction cooktop was broken. The first time I called customer care, they couldn't find anyone. The second time I called them, I couldn't find anyone so they told me that they would call me back. But they didn't, so I called them third time and I was lucky I found someone who could handle the case. They offered me the full amount of item's cost and then they sent me a check. One should take the protection from the SquareTrade because it is great.

When my screen cracked and I notified ** they swapped out the phone through Square Trade and the process was so easy. I now have the replacement phone and it is working great. It is great to have Square Trade for equipment of personal use.

My experience was very positive. After explaining the problem to the representative, the claim was handled promptly, and a Walmart gift card was issued via email. The representative was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I would recommend the service for any purchase made. The cost for the service plan is quite minimal.

After moving our refrigerator lights, ice maker and water dispenser stopped working. I placed a call to square trade an explained the situation. They asked me to perform a manual reset by turning off the fridge for 24 hrs. Called back after 24 hrs and worked through the process of restarting the fridge to see if the problems still persisted...which they did. I appeared to me that a sensor or computer boards somewhere was malfunctioning. Square Trade shipped parts they thought would be needed in the repair and dispatched a repairman to complete the work. Nothing they sent fixed the problem and the repairman had to diagnose the problem to figure out what the real issue was.
After 2 more attempts to fix the problem he finally determined the root cause and a replacement door was ordered and installed to correct the problem. While I appreciate Square Trade trying to be proactive by sending anticipated parts for the repair they really had no idea what was causing the problem and should have just allowed the repairman to diagnose the issue and determine what parts were needed rather than having him try their "fixes" first.

When I submitted my insurance claim, I had requested a REPLACEMENT item. I was led to believe that I was getting a REPLACEMENT item. No, instead, I received a check that didn't even cover HALF of the cost of the original item. When I emailed to fix this, I was told that the warranty had been completed, and that no further action would be taken. It didn't matter that they had not fulfilled the warranty correctly. They refused to take any further action in any way, shape, or form. So now, not only do I STILL have a broken voice recorder, I now have less than half the amount of money it cost to purchase another one.
Needless to say, I will never use this service again, and I will recommend to my friends, family, and associates that they never use this service as well. Absolutely abysmal customer service (if you can even call it that). And I will not accept any attempts to remediate this situation. You had your chance. You had TWO chances! And you burned me both times.

The pedal on my sewing machine was not working. SquareTrade was gonna send me either a check or a gift card for it and I told them, a gift card. The process took about two weeks. I didn't receive it the first time but I called back and they took care of it. It was my first time using SquareTrade and they helped me out with whatever I needed.

I've got several things covered under SquareTrade and it was the first time I ever had to use it. The telephone got damaged in the period that it was covered. I thought I would have cover and I had no trouble at all. Quick and easy. I'm thinking of getting SquareTrade for our other three phones.

SquareTrade was offered and it was so inexpensive. And you never know about electronics anymore. One of the stereo's hinges broke on the cover and it started squealing off and on while you're playing an album. We called the 800 number, and then had to email a copy of the receipt. They signed the claim, approved it and sent an address. They originally sent a list of people in Oklahoma who could repair it. However, they were all telephone repair places and none of them could repair it. So, they had us ship it out and have somebody repair it, and ship it back. Once it was determined that nobody that they sent on the list could work on it, they sent us a shipping label and got it back less than a week from the time FedEx picked it up to the time that they shipped it back and repaired. It was easy. Considering that nobody in Oklahoma works on stereos, the warranty is valuable.

The only reason why I got SquareTrade is because it's a grill, and they never last more than a season anyway. 20 bucks now is gonna get me my money back or a new grill come the season if something happens. And sure enough, it didn't make it with one season. The rest of the grill was fine, but all the internal components that push the gas around the grill were brittle. You could just barely touch it. I knew that was gonna happen. It happens with almost every gas grill. I almost forgot that I got the warranty, so I tried to see if there was something on there. And sure enough, I found the receipt for it, and it said I purchased the warranty. I talked to somebody and they were like, "Yes. We'll be able to take care of this." Then the check showed up within a couple of days. SquareTrade is worth it.
