    The claims submission process with Allstate was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be. I just got online with my receipt and typed in the number on it, and they brought everything up for me. They sent me a gift card for reimbursement. I'm assuming the printer was on sale because we got it at Walmart so it was less than what it was supposed to be but it was something. It went towards the new one. If I do have to talk to someone, I want someone that speaks English. But the experience was super quick and easy.

    Allstate refunded for the warranty claims for a Megalodon RC Car for my son so everything worked out okay. I did everything online but I spoke to someone a couple of times, trying to get the serial number for it.     I had a claim a little over a month ago and a rep said the claim was already issued out but I came to find out that it wasn't issued out on that day, it was just the affidavit. I spoke with another representative and she explained to me that that could have been the reason why she said it was sent out. Other than that, everything was very helpful. They reissued the amount that I paid for the product, but not the sales tax though. Normally, they give you the sales tax back but I let that go.

    The printer started paper jamming and all I could get was black. The red, blue, and yellow were completely gone. I called Allstate to file a claim and it took me three calls to find somebody who could help me in the way I needed to be helped. Then, they said they were going to mail me a full refund. They said they're gonna send me a check but online would have been so much better. Also, I recently moved and my old address was officially a business address because I was the manager of a yoga studio. The post office does not forward from business addresses so I haven't received it yet. I had to get a PO Box and I've checked with the yoga studio once or twice a week and I haven't seen that check. Another critique I have is anytime they send someone an email about their policy, they should not include just the number, include the item.

    My kid dropped the Chromebook and you couldn't see anything come on the screen. Submitting the claim was easy because the information was already there after I used something from the receipt from Costco. Once I identified the computer, everything else was pretty straightforward. They came back and gave an approval or disapproval message. They then gave me a shipping label to ship the Chromebook off. They said they would communicate with me on what's wrong and the timeline would be a week or so. But I need to send it in still.

    The warranty is very valuable. This is our second claim. So it's definitely worth the money to have the protection, especially for kids who are more vulnerable to having an accident.

    Purchased oven from NFM and we purchased a warranty plan. Burner failed and a claim was submitted. We were told to pay for the claim and then submit the invoice with receipt showing paid. The audit team actually sent an email indicating that we must submit a valid invoice. The paid invoice was from a company in Dallas Texas who has done business for over 40 years. Had to file a BBB complaint, then was told we would receive the check within 5 business day, (June 29), and as of today (10 days) no check. Refiling BBB complaint. THIS IS THE WORST WARRANTY COMPANY EVER. THIS WAS SOLD FROM NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART.

    Dealing with customer service is frustrating not only that it takes them a long time to find a claim or account but that you have to repeat yourself every time you call. On June 23 I was authorized to buy a phone at an Apple Store I called twice one before going to the store to make sure the store was approved and they say yes to make sure I buy an auto warranty phone. I got to the store and the Apple store in Schaumburg Illinois had no idea what I was saying about it out of warranty phone. They only sell new phones.

    I called again SquareTrade customer service. Was put on hold. I advised him that I was at the Apple store and they do not have auto warranty phones if I could purchase a phone and they approved as long as the cost was below the approved amount of $1499. Since the cost was below that the reps said it’s okay. Now I get an email that it has been denied. When I called customer service I was advised by a supervisor Sean that it was declined because it should’ve been out of warranty. Now he has escalated this to the concerned team So they can review the calls on that day when I got the approval.

    Going through this process has been very painful and difficult I have not sure why AllState backs SquareTrade and how they do business. Now I’m at risk of losing the money and they will take up to two business days for me to get another email with the resolution. I am very disappointed of how my claim has been handled and how difficult your system is to file claims. I do hope that your customer service department has the right thing and he’s able to verify the multiple calls I made on that day prior to buying the replacement phone.

    Bought a yoga chair on Amazon and the Allstate protection plan because our kid would be using it for gaming. So after about 2 weeks it broke. It's supposed to recline and lock into several positions. Well doesn't anymore and flops flat. So we filed a claim as per the guidelines and filled out their form and took pics. Well weeks later and then months later nothing about approved or denied.

    Call them and was told it's denied and have to resubmit, because they need pics of damaged are. Well 1 it say nowhere on your info that's what is needed 2 you only allow 1 pic. So I do so and send a email also stating that. Get a response which I was blown away by. Need pic of whole item....like for real are you kidding me!!! No wonder no one wants allstate plans and or get anything fixed, replaced or refunded. Allstate denies every claim!!! Worse company ever, what a rip off they are. Pretty much stealing your money and will never cover anything!! DO NOT BUY ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLANS EVER!!!!

    The dealer told me that this plan will cover "wheel replacement, no questions asked, even for curb damage" or anything similar. We had road debris that went through the tire, out the sidewall, and damaged the wheel on a new 2022 SUV. Took it to the dealer and they put on a new tire, but said that I'd have to have the wheel taken to a repair shop for repair and repainting and polishing. Allstate only replaces wheels that are damaged "beyond repair" - beware!

    My iPad screen was broken. So, I called Allstate 100 times and finally, they got to it. It's taken more than three weeks now and I didn't receive it yet. When I put the claim, they told me they will send me a voucher for the shipping. I waited a long time and every time they'd send me an email, they told me, “You can't open it from your phone. You have to do it from a laptop.” I don't have a laptop. So, I went to Staples to print it out. I printed it, and I sent it. After that, I called them. They told me it's gonna take three days. When I called them, they told me they gonna repair it, and it's gonna take 10 to 15 days. The experience was so bad.

    I purchased a portable AC unit almost 4 years ago. When hooking it up for use this summer, it failed to get cold. I thought I was too late to get coverage (expiration in 9 days). I filled out a claim form and was informed online that I needed to have the unit looked at to get a final determination. Shortly thereafter I received an email stating that I needed to call the claim center.     I purchased a Tv from Amazon and got a 4 year plan from SquareTrade to cover it. The Tv went bad 2 1/2 years later and the plan was to cover a replacement or refund the BASE purchase price. I paid $430 and the base cost was 377.99 for the Tv. Everything was moving along and was informed that I would be receiving my check via post. I was disappointed that I was out a Tv, but happy to get the base cost back to buy a replacement. The check came in for a prorated amount because "It was a used product and to save me the shipping cost " as said by Billy the customer service rep. via chat. That is total nonsense and a lie. There was no mention of a prorated amount in my previous discussions and was specifically asked to provide a base cost as that would be the amount refunded.

    I feel like I'm being given the run around. Representative Billy informed me that he and his team are not equipped to assist customers with these matters and gave me a number to call. In true "BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE" fashion the department that handles Tv claims is closed. I was told to call again tomorrow. Why would a customer service rep tell me to call now when they know what hours that department operates at?! At the very least inform the customer of the department times.

    The Allstate plan helps me a lot because when my phone is broken or damaged or not working in any way, shape, or form, I can be certified to get it replaced if I send it back and get a renewal and not have to worry so much. It's quick and easy. I just make a call on the landline and provide the necessary information they need. They tell me what to do, I do it, they get me the new bits, I give them the old. I can do this however many times until the warranty expires. It saves a lot of money, time and headaches. I've been having problems with my phone for what sources have described as ghost touching, where it acts on itself and opens apps and swipes on its own as if a ghost was using it. They sent a brand-new one to replace the one I have.

    This is the best thing I have ever brought. I get the protection plan on everything I buy. I have a son and he is very curious on how things work. As long as the plan isn't expired, they will fix/repair/replace your items that is protected. I tell everybody to get the protection plan because it is worth the money.     Very disappointed in the communication. Technician was sent out and was told that repair material would be ordered. Also received an email from AllState stating that the repair parts had been ordered and I would be notified when the next appointment would be scheduled. I waited about 3 weeks and no contact. I contacted Allstate and at that point was told that the parts were not being ordered and the fridge would not be repaired. I was told it was not covered and that we would need to take care of the issue. I then waited another few weeks and called about another issue with the fridge and the representative kept going back to the original issue and repeating that they could not help me.

    I finally asked to speak with a supervisor. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes. I think they were hoping that I would hang up. When a supervisor finally came to the phone she again started quoting the previous notes and kept interrupting as I tried to explain. At that point I got upset and demanded that she be quiet and at least listen to me. After I calmly explained AGAIN what the issues were she said that she would have to discuss this and get back to me. I received a call back and was told that they would send another technician out and order the needed repair items. This was the most frustrating time that I have ever had with a protection plan. Actually don't recommend it.

    The issue was a microwave that stopped working. It wouldn't come on at all. I went back to my app, and I pulled the receipt from my purchase history in my Walmart app. It was easy. I did it online. I got a gift card because I needed a new microwave. And I went and got another microwave in the next day. Everything was fine. I just have to do my part and make sure I have access to the receipt. Knowing my receipt will fade out, and I don't make a copy of it and keep it on file, make sure I got access. If I do my part, Allstate does their part.

    I recommend Allstate to friends. I try to tell them, “Make sure you get the coverage when you buy electrical anything. From computer, microwave, fridge, whatever you buy from Walmart or Sam's or what have you, add the coverage.” The past experience had been with a laptop and I didn't get it. I've only ever had to fight with them once and that was because I bought some generic Google box, and it didn't have a serial number on it. I was confused on why I had to give that information when it didn't even have it on the actual device. Recently, the printer completely stopped working as far as printing goes. It still scanned, but it was worthless. The claims process with Allstate was cake because it's just filling up the form.     It took you close to two weeks get your end done. Wait times were at times a half hour. You kept asking for photos with the TV on and continued doing so when I told you the TV would not turn on. You asked for photos of each corner of the TV and of the full screen which I supplied and you kept sending me emails asking for the photos even when I responded that you had them as the email requests sent to me for the photos attached as trailers!!!

    Your wait times to get the warranty department were so long that one of your reps asked if would minding calling back the next day. She did not to stay on with me as the wait was too long. In addition your Reps. Made some really stupid statements. One told me the photos of the TV would enable the repair person to know what parts to order—-I would like to know how a black screen could provide the Tech. diagnostic information as what was wrong with the TV. Maybe it would show if the TV was damaged which I assume would not be covered warranty repair. Overall your customer service was one of the worst I have ever encountered. The warranty staff. Would never acknowledge my emails. I will say the Concierge staff were always very pleasant.

    The pump I purchased no longer works and in the past, Allstate would have repair shops. You could take it to them and they would repair it. So, you wouldn’t just throw out and buy a new pump. Now, they write you a check and you buy a new pump. So, it was disappointing a little bit because it was serviceable. It would be less expensive for SquareTrade/Allstate to have it serviced but they don't do that anymore. It states when you purchase the warranty that they have a repair option and I'd prefer that.

How do I know they will actually pay me? Why do I need to spend more money even though my device is apparently under warranty? It feels like I may be headed down a rabbit hole with these folks.

    The pool pump would stop and start and at first, I was told to take it to a place to get it fixed. But that was not reasonable. You can't take a pool pump somewhere to get fixed. That was gonna cost more money. It was cheaper to get a new one than to have somebody try to fix it and there was nobody in the area that was gonna fix a pool pump. They tell you to buy a new one.     We purchased AllState on all the kitchen appliances. The first time I called to file a claim, the refrigerator's compressor was down. They took almost a week to fix it. They said they could send a check up to $400 for all the food we have there. But they want me to send receipts. I don't keep my grocery receipts with me. I just throw them away. I was disappointed but I said, "Whatever".

    Between last month and this month, I called about the microwave and I was in shock because the service was great. I got service in the next couple of days. But I was kind of disappointed with the contractor, Nana's Repair because it took me two weeks back and forth to hear from them. The first time the tech showed up, he said, "Oh, no, we need to order a different part, but you need to get approved by the warranty." And I said, "So how long is it gonna take it?" He said, "Maybe seven days." And I said that was fine.

    The part that AHS sent to me, he took possession of. I said, "Wait a minute. Why are you taking that piece?" He said, "Oh, because I'm gonna take possession of that.". I said, "But it's not yours. It's not Nana's. It's coming from the warranty center." So, I've been calling back and forth for another week. That technician was supposed to show up on a Saturday but he was a no show. I called back on Monday and said I needed to speak to a supervisor. The reps told me that they don't have supervisors. I said, "Don't tell me that you don't have a supervisor at your business. Somebody has to run the place, right?" When I said that, they called me an hour later and said they were gonna send a technician on Saturday.

    They contracted somebody else that the guy who showed up was really nice. I asked him, "Oh, you work for Nana's?" and he said, "I just took the call from them because they pay me, but I don't work for the company." It was a third-party company but he was really professional. He fixed the issue and said, "Anything else, ma'am?. If there's anything, don't call Nana's. Just go straight back to your warranty center. Because right now, I don't know why they dismiss all your calls and evidence." He gave me a heads-up. So, I sent an email to Nana's and told them everything that happened and that I'm not really satisfied with the service.

    The only good thing I will say is that eventually my Projector was fixed. The submission/filing system for a claim is absolute garbage. I feel like it's designed this way on purpose because why would they actually want you to file anything.

    1. Their system doesn't allow for ANY errors, you messed up? Too bad you're now screwed and the only way to fix it is find a hidden phone number to call in and be tossed from underpaid employee to underpaid employee.

    I’ve called twice about issues with my LG TV from Costco. I got transferred to someone who barely speaks English, who told me to do the same things over and over again. Wasted 45 minute of my time. And the tv still randomly shuts off and has other issues. I don’t understand what the point of purchasing the protection plan is. It’s pointless and a waste of money. I’m basically paying to have my time wasted. If I call again I’m pretty sure they’ll tell me the same thing over and over again. They may send someone one out and it still won’t get fixed.     There was a problem at first for which I had to get Costco involved to verify that I had purchased an extended warranty. Once that problem had been solved the agent tending to my claim was outstanding. She followed up, listened carefully, was responsive, and arranged for my reimbursement for $300 of food lost (that is their maximum allowance- with inflation this needs to be increased in my opinion), the one truly negative experience in all of this (besides the hassal of their recognizing my coverage) was the serviceman. He tried to intimidate me into giving him a $100 tip. I only had $10; when I gave it to him he showed dismay. There were other problems with him as well. He first tried to put off the repair, saying he did not have a compressor with him. When I told him it could not be put off as I had medication that was life threatening if I did not have it, he suddenly found a compressor.

    We got an extended warranty on my daughter's laptop, and we have an existing extended warranty on our television, which we bought through Costco originally. When we had a problem with the TV, we went to Costco and they explained that there was a process involved. They gave us the correct phone number and information to give and we learned we would be dealing with Allstate because that’s who the protection plan goes through.

    When we bought the TV and the extended warranty on it, I wasn't thinking about what company that was going to because everything is done through Costco. I was thinking more that I was dealing with Costco, not with an insurance company. It makes sense to me that Costco goes through an insurance company, whether it’d be Allstate or anyone else. Once we were into the game of having our TV dealt with, I understood the aspect that they were going through an insurance company rather than it just being Costco who dealt with it.

    I understand that it's more expedient for Costco to hand it over to a company such as Allstate rather than try to deal with it themselves. They probably would have simply said, “Well, your TV's bad. Bring it back and trade it in for another one,” and the problem when you do that is you don't get any assessment as to exactly what the problem is. You're simply blindly replacing the TV. I also have a feeling Costco would say, “We are not in the repair business. We're not into the assessment business of trying to determine what's wrong with the TV. We provide a product. And we have people sign up to the warranties. And then they deal with the insurance companies that work with those.” Allstate’s business is to decide how they wanna deal with those claims, and that's fine with me.

    We made a call and worked with the Allstate people with regards to what it was gonna take to either repair or replace our TV. Everybody was very nice and friendly. However, the time the process took was pretty invasive. We had to go through a regimen of things in order to finally make our claim and it took at least a week before we got approval.

    The only thing that was concerning me during that process was that I ended up going through two or three different people and there was a review process, but I understood that because they had to look at the information we gave them and they had to decide what was most cost-effective. Was it to send a technician out to examine and possibly repair the TV? Or based on what they knew about the problem, was it more beneficial to simply replace the TV? That was their call and not ours. If they wanted to send a technician, that would have been fine. The nature of the problem was possibly one of the gazillion little lights in our TV that formulate a picture had gone out, so they determined that it was an internal problem. It sounded like it would have been fairly invasive to try to repair and replace that little light and it was more cost-effective to simply replace the TV and be done with it.

    They shipped us the new TV and I haven't any complaints in that regard. They explained very explicitly that the warranty we had on the TV would continue to run until it ran out, which will be in a few more months. If something happens between now and then, fine. Otherwise, after that, it’s gonna be on our dime as far as replacing or repairing it. There would be no new warranty created on this new TV as it was a replacement. We'll hope that this will continue to run for some time.

    Purchasing the warranty was simple. There seemed to have been some issue between Costco and Allstate though. The reference number with Costco wasn’t connecting with Allstate. They were like, “You gotta go back to Costco.” Costco was like, “You have to call them.” We were caught in the middle. But we didn't have to make contact with Allstate and get anything started because we were able to resolve it with the cable company. But when my husband would call, they would say, “You have to go online and you have to do stuff online.” He's not very good at going online. They weren't able to help him over the phone and that was a bit frustrating.

    I had Allstate for a suite of kitchen appliances, the microwave, stove, and refrigerator. All of the electronics on the new appliances are fairly new ones. I called Allstate when I had a claim and had a good response. I used it twice. The stove had a problem and they took care of that quickly and efficiently. They sent me a check and it was enough money that I could replace the stove. I got $100 more than what they gave me.

    I also used the plan when the microwave went out. In both cases, it had something to do with the electronics. That one was a little bit more problematic. I call Allstate and I had to send them copies of my receipt where I had purchased the item. They told me they were going to send me an email with a link to it. I needed to click on the link and give them some stuff. It took me three tries before they sent me the link. I got a lady on the phone and I was getting a little frustrated. The lady sent me the link while I was sitting at the computer and I took care of it right then and there. They sent me a check. In this case, that one also was a little bit more than what they had given me. I was buying an individual piece and not a suite of stuff. On the whole, I was very glad that I bought Allstate.

    My husband's cellphone was not charging. We thought something was wrong with the charging port. So I reached out to open a claim. We took it to a local repair shop, and they deemed it non-repairable. We paid the bill and I got a receipt and I submitted it to Allstate. Then I was told, “Well, go ahead and send the phone in. The day we get it, we will process it. We'll check it out and then mail it back to you.” They sent me a shipping label and I mailed it in. But it was a nightmare. It took two weeks to get a phone back and to get any status. Every time I called, I was told, “Well, we'll have to get back to you. The tech hasn't looked at it yet.” At one point, they also agreed that it was non-repairable, and I said okay. They were going to give us the value of the phone, so that we could use that money to buy a new phone. But a day later, they reached out with an email again saying they were going to send us a phone.

    I contacted Allstate and said we don't want a refurbished phone. We still owe on the phone that he currently has. We'd like to be paid out for that so that he could get a new phone, and not a refurbished one. We were told that it wasn't an option and that we had to get stuck with a refurbished phone. I said, “Okay. Well, then we want a phone exactly like what he has.” They sent him a phone and it's the wrong color. But at that point, he was literally so pathetically disgusted that he kept that phone. A customer shouldn't have to be calling in daily to find out what the status is on their claim and why it was not being processed. I was not impressed.

    I like Allstate's warranty process. Going through the claim process is really easy and simple. They always have the information online and I can add my receipts on there. I have to find a serial number either on the receipt if I can see it or just off the machine. It's pretty much step-by-step. Generally, I fill out the claim then let Allstate know what it is. If it's under warranty, they send me the return shipping label, and I return it. They do it in a couple of days. They'll let me know that they've received the device. When they send it back, there's a piece of paper in there letting me know what the issue was and what they did to fix it. Always purchase the warranty plan when it's offered to you, even if it costs a little bit extra. The last time I did it was for my husband's PlayStation. The three years of extra protection is better than getting a year then having to replace the product.

    There was something wrong with the TV and I spoke to about three people at Allstate. Rebecca was the last one and took up the whole time with us. She went through everything on the TV and said it was frozen. I put batteries in the remote and it would not take me anywhere. She was pretty okay but she said we would get a replacement and then the other rep came and said that they cannot do anything. I was told it was only one year warranty with the protection and we have to go back to Walmart. I'm not satisfied with that.

The screen would sometimes get all fuzzy. At that point, my daughter said she stopped using her computer. That was crazy. I spent extra money on protection. $500 is a lot of money for us.

    I called up Allstate and we troubleshot one more time. It still didn't work. I told them I wanted my money back because there was obviously something wrong with the computer. Even though they keep fixing it, there's still something wrong. I called in a claim and they could see it through the concierge service that there were multiple times where we called in and where the computer was sent in.

    Allstate followed through and I am grateful for that. But it was a very difficult process. We were having to call in so many times. Each time, you're put on hold for a good 30 minutes to an hour sometimes. Lately, it's been a little bit quicker when we did it. I was sitting on the phone and going through all the troubleshooting and being on the phone for at least an hour with them. They eventually said in the end that they don't usually give money back. I told them, "It's obvious that we've tried just everything. I'm not going to send in the computer again and have it come back not working, because there's a history of it not being fixed correctly." At this point, it was like I almost had to fight them for my money back. They had to get a manager or a supervisor. They finally said they were going to make an exception and give me my money back.

    There were parts of the experience where people were nice and they were just trying to do their job. But the process was very long and arduous. It wasted a lot of my personal time when I could have been doing stuff with my kids or I could have been relaxing. I wish we didn't have to jump through all these hoops. Other than that, Allstate mailed me a check. After we okayed everything and they said it was going through, the check came within a week. Allstate is mostly good. There were a couple of times at the beginning where one person said to do something and another person when I called back would tell me, "You should have done this." There was some conflicting information within. But everyone tried their best.

    The ice maker stopped working on my refrigerator. It took a week and a half to get repaired. There was a bit of communication between Allstate and the company that was supposed to do the repair. They had me schedule a time on the phone when I called to make the claim for the repair company to come out. But then we had some bad weather in the area, so Allstate rescheduled me. I was told by the repair company that Allstate didn't communicate clearly that my appointment had been rescheduled and when. Luckily, I called them the morning that they were supposed to come to get an estimate on the time that they were coming and they got me in on that day. They fixed the ice maker and it worked.

    The claim process was pretty easy. I went online, filled out the paperwork, and then I got a phone call. They tried to fix my computer online for an hour and a half but it was determined that there wasn't anything that could be done. They said I can go to a local person and have it repaired. Then, I would have to upload the bill and they would pay it. That's the only hassle. They did offer for me to send it in but the delay time on that could be a couple of weeks and I'm not willing to do that.

    The screen of my computer was broken on the corner. I was working with it until my daughter dropped it and the screen came apart from the keyboard. The process with AllState was smooth. We sent them the computer but I didn't hear back from them until I followed up three weeks later. That was when they told me that the parts were in backorder. I told them I couldn't be without a computer and I absolutely must buy one.

    I have a GE induction range that I bought at Costco and I bought the extended warranty there. When something went wrong with it, I called for service and Allstate kept doing the service call through the same guy who doesn't answer the phone. Finally, they just gave up and paid me. They could try harder. There are plenty of appliance service repairs. Why don't they have a list of appliance repair services instead of one number that they keep trying?     I have always had a good experience in the past with SquareTrade fixing a phone and Allstate was my car insurance for years, so I was shocked when this mess started. I have a graphics card that stopped working and I was relieved to see I was still in coverage for another year almost. However, after Filing online snd calling either 4 or 5 times, I’ve gotten the run-around and punted between different people trying to sort it out. I was told to go to a local repair shop. Luckily I live in Chicago area so lots of those to choose from.

    Unfortunately for me, every single one I stopped into, graphics card boxed up in hand, told me that repairs aren’t done on graphics cards, that there’s nothing they can do for me. So I called back to Allstate and was advised to go to a different location, which resulted in the same darn reply. Finally I knew I had a work trip this last week so I tried in Wisconsin just in case it was some strange IL rule.. nope! I’m so disappointed and frustrated at this point. Help!

    Allstate did such a nice job the first time so I'm happy. I bought a TV from Costco which went bad so, Allstate refunded all my money. I went out and bought a new TV, and I got new insurance from Allstate. During the claims process, I called the makers of the TV and they walked me through trying to get it started again. After about an hour on the phone with the guy and jumping through all kinds of hoops, he designated that it was a dead and gone TV. He said it needed a blue light and to call Costco. So, I called them and at first, they told me that they were going to take care of the claim. I called a couple of days later and they hadn't done anything. So, I called Allstate direct and that turned out to be a fiasco. They wanted copies of everything but my birth certificate. Then, they told me that it was going to be taken care of and nothing happened for a couple of more days.

    I called Costco back and said that Allstate was dragging their legs. Costco sent them a message which prompted them to do something about it. Someone from Allstate called me and he was very nice. He only kept me on the phone for maybe 15 minutes and said he would send me a check. I bought the new TV that day in anticipation of getting a check, and I got it in a nice fashion in a couple of days. When you're talking to someone who's 81 years old, we get frustrated fast. The whole thing could have been handled the first day that I called and it wasn't. It was dropped and Costco sent Allstate a copy of the receipt because they look everything up. It would have been nicer than being without a TV for a week but Allstate still took care of me. It just took a lot of doing and time on the phone. Nobody likes to spend time on the phone. So, if any way of them handling this so that it would be quicker and not so difficult would be nice.

    The claim process of Allstate was all done online and it was fine. It was just a little keyboard type of thing and you can't really repair that. It's not even worth repairing.     I got the protection plan for the AirPods Pro of my son. The sound was completely gone on one of them. Then the other one was crackling. You could hear it like staticky. It would pick up and drop the call. So, when he was talking to someone, the other person couldn't hear him. The claim process with Allstate went pretty well. The first time I called, they told me I needed to make an appointment and take them into a Genius Bar for Apple. But the one here in town was shut down. The Apple Store is still open, but they don't service anything. You have to send it out. I had to go through Best Buy. Then Best Buy told me that it would be better for them to get them replaced. So, when I went back to talk to Allstate, there was some confusion because they kept asking for paperwork. But Best Buy didn't give me any paperwork. I asked for it. They said they wouldn't give it to me unless I paid $200.

    It was back and forth for a little bit because I was telling the Allstate person that they weren't giving me the paperwork unless I paid and I didn't wanna pay if they weren't gonna cover it and to send me new ones. It just didn't make any sense. So, there was a little bit of an issue with that. But then they were able to resolve it and tell me to go ahead and send them in and they would give me a refund as soon as they received them. I already received the check.

    After writing this review Square Trade/Allstate contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience. They explained that they get electronic gift cards from a third party vendor which they are having issues with and noted that as the customer that is not my problem and it shouldn't affect me. As compensation for the issue they sent me not only a check for 180.00 dollars but a second check for 100 dollars. In my opinion the extra money for the wait is beyond proper compensation. I have purchased another television and, due to the resolution of my problem, have insured it with SquareTrade/Allstate. All companies are bound to have issues some time and I honestly believe they wanted to fix it the right way.

    On February 1st I contacted Allstate and after working with tech support I was promised they'd send me an electronic Walmart Gift Card for $180.00 in 24 hrs. Two days later after I hadn't received said gift card I contacted Allstate through the chat app and was apologized to and told it takes up to three business days. So on the end of the third business day I contacted them again through the chat app. NOW I am being told "Walmart RAN OUT of electronic gift cards" and I am being sent a check for 180 dollars that will be there in 5 to 7 business days. So now, after only agreeing to take 180 dollars for something that will cost me 220 dollars to replace so I could have the replacement quickly, I get to wait another 7 days for a check that's not even enough to replace it. By the way, you can't RUN OUT of electronic gift cards. So, thanks for lying to me and giving less money than the product I insured and making me not have a television for over 10 days.

    Machine was purchased from Costco. I purchased extra 3 year warranty (total 5 years). Samsung Washer stopped pumping out water in the middle of a load. It also made a grinding noise. For starters SquareTrade makes it difficult to talk to someone. You have to jump through many on-line hoops to get a real person, and you have to jump through the same hoops if you have a follow up question. SquareTrade told me tech would arrive in 4 days. Tech arrived in 11 days. The repair company said ST does not know their repair schedule. I had to call to find out when repair would arrive. They gave me window of 12 - 5pm. Tech arrived at 4:45. When he hit start button the machine worked. It had not worked on my last dozen attempts. Tech did not want to put in new pump although I had it on hand. Now we are waiting for machine to not work again. Stay tuned.

    I purchased Allstate when I first purchased a television. I wanted a protection plan in case something go wrong. Because a lot of times, things go wrong. Their claim process was a headache, though. I had a lot of problems ‘cause they had paperwork that was screwed some kind of way. There were some mix-ups and it took me a while to get it straightened out. They advised over the phone as to what to do. Apparently, it worked to a certain extent. I haven't had any major complaints about it. As far as the claim process is concerned, there are quite a few things they could do. They already had the policy. I should be able to look at the policy number and then go and file a claim. Hopefully, we'll get a repairman out to see about it soon.

I'd refer other people to Allstate too, especially with large appliance purchases. ​The problem was on the technician's side, 'cause it was originally scheduled for repair, but he had not dealt with Allstate before. I called the main office and they said that I should see another department. So, they gave me another number for that and then, I had to go online and they wouldn't let me complete the process because they didn't have my receipt. So, for whatever step I used, I had to get some assistance with the chat group. Even after I uploaded the receipt, it still did not process. So, I had to call the chat group again and they did some things in the system through the portal. I had to wait a couple more days for the rep to reset. I went in there again and they said I needed to call the number again. So, I went to the chat group again and there was another glitch, so they had to unblock that and it went forth then.     The appliance is an LG dishwasher. Your company dispatched an appliance repair company that failed to show for the appt and failed to notify me. The company seems to have nothing but complaints and one star reviews on Yelp. Finally after several phone conversations with your company, I was told to obtain my own repair and that I would be reimbursed. I did just that, having the manufacturer LG come do the service calls. I submitted my 2 receipts online as per your instructions and then had to call Sq Trade to see what the hold up was with my check. The rep had me re-email my 2 receipts a couple weeks ago. To date, I still have not received my reimbursement check, and when I sign in online, the account still states error code. I have NEVER had such bad customer service with any warranty company!

    I contacted Allstate about a problem on my Samsung QLED purchased from Costco in 2018. I.also purchased the Trade Square Protection P!an at that time. The TV was.problem free for three years. However, late in 2021 the tv started to have the backlight leak around the bottom edge of the screen. I went online to place a claim and was contacted in 24 hours. I was asked to send pictures of the problem and they received them that day. The next day I received an email informing the tv would be replaced. The replacement arrived less than a week later.     Ice maker started freezing up after 3 years, a known Samsung defect. Allstate gave me defrosting instructions, unplug for 2 days, then intermittent defrost with hair dryer if needed. This worked for a few months, but the ice buildup pushed the case away from the cabinet allowing more air in and more ice buildup. Called them back. Repairman came and asked me how I defrosted it. I told him the two steps above. He told me the case separation was not repairable and referred me back to Allstate. Allstate told me that because I used a hairdryer (per their instructions), it voided my warranty.

    I bought a 65" Element Roku TV on Black Friday of 2019. When we purchased the TV we also bought the All State Protection Plan. The TV screen became dim this month so I filed a claim with Square Trade. They have decided to reimburse me for the TV instead of replacing it. The problem is is that TV costs about double now. When I called to say that I would not accept reimbursement and they needed to send a replacement, they told me the claim was already accepted. I asked who accepted the claim, because I didn't accept their resolution. I spent over 4 hours on the phone through this whole process and when they were trying to hold for a supervisor, none was available and I was told to call back.

    A pixel went out vertically on our TV and I filed a claim online. Someone called me and asked me a few questions, troubleshot stuff and had me submit some pictures of the issue. Then, I got an email saying I was approved for a replacement. I got to choose the TV but they were out of that one after I chose it, so they sent me another email that said that it was a different TV but it was the other option they could get me right now.     I bought a booster pump back in 2018 for my home to help the water pressure. It failed during the warranty time, and I got on the phone and started making the calls. But during that time, I had also purchased another pump with another warranty so I could get the pump back up and running. After working with Allstate, they got it all worked out.     I had a power surge that damaged my HiSense 65' TV., I contacted AllState Protection to file my claim and to my dismay I encountered the most robotic insensitive rep I've ever experience. After not only explaining the reason for the power surge and the fact that my profession deals with repair of electronics and residential voltage, the rep still wanted to read from a script and tell me that my claim would still be denied and as a consultation-would refund my warranty cost. That to me made no sense as per the extended warranty and the factory warranty electrical components ARE a feature that is a coverable under said warranty. By far the absolute worse claims experience I have encountered and I plan to not only tell every customer I speak with that owns this product & deals with this company for ANYHING, I plan on letting my corporation know so that they will not invest anything into either.

    I called in a claim to Allstate for my computer and it was wrapped up fairly quickly. Being a person who's done a lot of work on computers, I had already tried a lot of their troubleshooting tactics. They took the computer that hasn't worked since I got it and sent it back a week later. They did a very good job and I was very pleased. They changed the hard drive and a fan. The computer worked great for about a month. Unfortunately, I have to call Allstate again because my computer is right back doing the same thing it was doing before.     The light burnt out on the TV and I only had it for less than two years. When I called Vizio, I was up, which was when I called Allstate. They told me to call them first and see if I have the protection, which I didn’t, and Allstate said they could help me. The claims process was quick and understandable. I did it through their online chat, and the person was helpful. I didn't know if I was gonna go back to Walmart with Black Friday sales coming so I took a check. Then, I bought a TV on Black Friday. I've worked with Allstate before in a claim. I bought a hoverboard last Christmas for my daughter and she rode it in the basement, and it broke within a couple of months of having it. I tried to call the hoverboard number but they never answered, and I got ahold of Allstate over the phone. The guy said they would cover me.     A part of the headset cracked and it wasn’t a piece that was replaceable. You had to replace the whole thing. It was close to where the ear pad thing is. We didn't drop it. It was from taking it off and on, and it finally gave way. I went to the Allstate site, put in the claim and filled out their form. After that, it was all done through emails. They asked a bunch of questions, but it wasn't anything out of line. The process wasn’t difficult. I sent pictures and gave information from the actual manufacturer website about the part isn't replaceable, and Allstate did a review, and let me know that they're gonna honor the claim. It wasn't anything that I wouldn't expect.

    Allstate gave a gift card and we bought another headset. The protection plan is very valuable that we even have protection on our cellphones with it. It’s a good thing to buy.     I forgot I carried my Allstate policy for my GPS Mini until I got up with Garmin. Garmin told us that it's our issue, that it wasn't part of the device, that they can't do anything about it, and that batteries in it cannot be replaced. I did some seeking and discovered that I had an Allstate policy. Allstate said that they would either replace a battery or provide a new one. So, when I sent it in, they replaced the battery. There was conflicting information given to me as to how long it would take and when the battery would arrive. Also, there was little to no follow-up so I'm not sure how the policy stands now. They didn't tell us whether or not the device is still insured or the policy lapses if I make one claim, or if I can make several claims. It wasn't clear in the literature either. But other than that, they made it easy.

    I got a protection plan with Allstate Protection Plans for the headset for three years. They neither repaired or replaced it. They ended up giving me my money back for that. The only thing I had problems with was the fact that it said I only needed to send back the power cord with the device. But they sent it back to me and said they needed the other thing. They need to do a little bit better with saying what needs to go back with the device. Other than that, the process was quick and getting it to them wasn't hard.     The screen of the laptop was leaking ink. Allstate called me for a five-minute call so I could explain what happened. After that, everything was done by email. The process was seamless. I received the laptop and I saw that win an email saying, "Hey, this is your tracking number". Now that I've gone through the process, I'm happy. When I purchase something from Walmart and I see that it is Allstate, I'm not afraid to get it.
