    The headphones weren't working and when I tried to do the claim with Allstate, I answered all the questions like I was supposed to. Then, I was asked if I wanted to get a gift card or get a new device or get it looked at. I wanted to get the Walmart gift card but I clicked the wrong thing. I tried to go back and redo it. But I never heard anything back. It didn't go well because Allstate didn't get anything done with it. The cost of the warranty wasn’t a problem. But I regret getting it if I never got any assistance with it. I tried reaching out to the contact support and I'm not happy.

    The claim was for the little pegs that go at the bottom of the bed. They were stripped out. They weren't able to hold up the bed. Allstate replaced them, and everything is going fine with it now. It was just hard trying to get on the website that Allstate sent. Other than that, everything went fine.

    I use Allstate Protection Plans for all my electronics. And if jewelry is an option, I use that as well. I had to log in and verify the purchase date. I typically do a digital pay or if I can pay in the app so my receipts are automatically uploaded so I don't have to keep up with them. So, my receipt was already on file. I just had to submit the claim for what item I was filing the claim on. I had the option to either get a gift card or have Allstate send me a check. So, I just picked “send me a check”.

    The last claim I submitted was for my daughter's washer. The timer went out. The problem is if you buy this warranty and you buy a part, it's up to the seller. If the part is no good when you get it, you have to go back to the seller and not the warranty people. When I did the claim on the first part I bought, the rep asked, "Well, did it work when you bought it?" I said, "No, it didn't." She said, "Well, we can't warranty that."

    Also, when I log into the site, things are not just cut-and-dry. There's not an option for what I need. If I was able to get a hold or chat or email or something to somebody, that would be better. I was trying to talk to somebody about what I need to do because it wasn't clear on the website. They should try to make that easier to do online. It was a long process to get somebody. Other than that, they gave me a refund either on the part or on the warranty too.

    The tablet got knocked off the table and it was broken. I went online and saw how to file for Allstate to fix it. I filled out the form and followed their directions. The process took a little longer than what they said it was going to take but I wasn't tripping over it. In the end, the tablet came back working and my grandson was so happy. All his stuff was still on it. Last Christmas, I bought another one for my other grandson and I bought the Allstate warranty for it. I'm so glad I did because they did such an excellent job with this one.

    The customer service representatives at Allstate were horrible. I bought a TV through Costco. They wanted me to do their job when Samsung said that the TV needed to be repaired. There were two weeks of back and forth. “Take pictures of this. Take pictures of that. Do this. Do that. Unplug it. Factory reset.” We did everything they requested, and Samsung said it needs to be repaired. It took two weeks of complaining to finally tell the person that I wanted to speak to a manager. The repairman finally called and said, “Oh, I can just imagine what you went through.” I was doing their job instead of doing what Samsung told them to do.

    Allstate could be honest and they could take the advice that when the manufacturer is saying it needs to be repaired, send someone out to repair it. I must have sent them three videos. Then they said, “Well, you need to send us another video.” That was when I finally lost it and said, “You know what? I'm not doing your job. The manufacturer said it needs to be repaired. I'll just take this to social media.” It was amazing how fast I had a repairman schedule. Then the repairman called and said, “Well, do you have the parts?” I was like, “No. Because they told me you were just coming out to decide.” It's over two weeks now that I'm waiting for parts to come in to the repairman. It was beyond frustration.

    I purchased the Allstate plan because it was on two recliners. So, due to their mechanical nature, I thought a three-year coverage would be good. Unfortunately, both recliners malfunctioned, and one of them in a catastrophic manner. I put in the claims, and everything went through just fine. I sent pictures and description, and the claim was covered. The process was electronic, and they went through email. They ended up compensating me pretty much the entire retail price of each chair. It was 100% valuable for me. As far as this plan went, it worked very well for me in the past, too.

    When I was in Walmart and I bought a necklace, the rep asked me if I wanted to purchase an Allstate plan, and I said yes. I bought the item as a gift for my son, and he got in an altercation with someone and they tore it off of his neck. I did a claim. I didn't have any problems, and they sent me a check for it. I appreciated it a lot. I would advise others to get it because it pays off, and it doesn't cost a whole lot.

    I got the protection plan for a cellphone and the experience with Allstate has been good so far. I had an issue though. I made a claim but I haven't even mailed off the product yet because the shipping label that was sent to my email was unprintable. I sent an email back to Allstate stating that and they sent me another email saying that it should be clear, I should be able to click on it now, open it and print the code. I just need to make sure I can print this label.

    Our daughter works for Nebraska Furniture Mart, and since she started working there, we simply buy most of our things there. We've purchased several things, and SquareTrade is the option for the extended warranty. Recently, we had an issue with our dishwasher. We did a claim and SquareTrade sent someone out and he fixed it. Within 30 days, it broke again and now they've replaced it. We got the check and we went out and purchased another dishwasher. It was a great experience. SquareTrade was very easy to work with. My only problem is that my floor got ruined because the dishwasher leaked. SquareTrade does not cover that. It just covered the repair of the dishwasher.

    We also have an ice maker claim out right now with SquareTrade. The ice maker was not getting water, so it was not able to produce ice. The guy came out to repair it and SquareTrade sent some parts, but all the parts didn't arrive before he came. He apparently did not know what part was expected to have available to him, so he did not know that he should have also had an ice maker there ready to install. He only had one part when he should have had two to replace, so they have to come back out to do the ice maker. I don't know if there was just a disconnect on this one. Because when I talked to somebody else, they said, "Oh, no, we share all that information. He should have known what parts he should have had." So, my only suggestion would be to let the parts arrive, and then schedule. The parts simply got held up in FedEx. It doesn't happen often, but it happens.

    I filed two claims and I tried doing them online and I had some issues. One of them wasn't showing up at first, the Chromebook and for the air fryer. Based on the reason I put in for the claim, I wasn't getting anything. They said they couldn't process the claim. But I called in for the Chromebook, and it was super easy. They were very informative and professional, yet friendly. They got it done within minutes and told me that I would receive an email with the information to ship the product back by FedEx, which I did, and I got that done either the next day or maybe the following week. So the process was very smooth. They got there, I tracked it and they sent it back. Everything was done within a week. So that was great. Based on how much I paid for that plan versus how much the Chromebook costs, I paid about $40. It was great based on what I got.

    When I was speaking to the gentleman about my son's Chromebook, he told me that it's another department that deals with air fryers, so I was able to get over to them. When I told them what was going on with the air fryer, they told me that they would be able to process a claim for that, and they did. I could either choose to have the money, a gift card or a check. I got back about 80% of what I paid for the air fryer and this was after having it for almost two years. They sent me a check to purchase my new air fryer. So it was great.

    The TV screen would get a big, black blotch on it, and it would spread, and you couldn't see anything. We initially contacted the third party company and after two and a half hours on the phone, they were not the people that needed to be contacted because the Allstate Protection that we had as a five-year warranty on the TV when we bought it was still in effect. The third party company told the Allstate people what the problem was, and then the Allstate's offshore person got on the line with us but she was totally given the wrong information about what the actual problem was. I ended up having to spend another hour or so with her on the phone, explaining exactly what happened.

    It was a situation where it ended up being a software instead of hardware issue, and I ended up fixing the problem itself. I was able to get it to a point where I got to the device maintenance application on the TV itself, and I ran that. I saw that the levels of cache and data on certain apps on the TV were extremely high, so I cleaned that out and the problem went away. By the time the rep from the Allstate Protection program called us, I had already taken care of the issue. What they were going to do was send out a maintenance person who was actually going to address it as a hardware issue, which it was not. However, the person that did call me was extremely helpful. So all in all, I wasn't extremely happy with it. The only positive effect of that was that we were told, and it was confirmed in writing, that we had a five-year warranty on the TV instead of three, which was printed on the box when we bought it.

    I call on February 3, I was given appointment for February 7. That appointment was canceled due to the part was unavailable then then I was given an appointment for February 15.     On Thursday February 23 they offer me a replacement for my TV. I agree with the replacement. They give me a new claim #**. When I call back in the late afternoon they tell me that they cannot offer me a replacement TV, that they going to offer me a coupon for the amount I paid for my TV. So now I have to waste properly 700.00 to 800.00 dollars to buy a TV. That is not good customer service. So today is February 25. It’s going to be month with no TV!!!

    The process was a little dodgy because I didn't think that it was handled fairly the way it should have been. I bought an LG TV, which is not the top of the line, but it's not the bottom either. Then, when I went to exercise my warranty, they offered me a Hisense, which in my mind is not the equal of the LG. I offered to pay the difference, but they were intransigent in their position and they would not budge.

    At the time, my husband decided to buy a protection plan. It was only 5 bucks, but I'm not purchasing another one. We used the protection plan recently for a weed whacker, and it was difficult when I had to go on to try to upload my information to find the place because they kept wanting everything electronic. A weed whacker's not electronics. I also had to upload the information three times and the system kept saying, "We got your information," and then the next day, I get another email saying, "We need you to upload it again." I even spoke to a person on the chat and she verified that they received the information. In the end, Allstate sent me a check, but it wasn't for the full amount. It was prorated. All in all, it was a hassle getting the money back and it wasn't worth my time. We just bought a new weed whacker.

    The first few days, I tried to make a claim with Allstate but the website kept shutting me down. It kept telling me there was an error. That lasted four days so that was frustrating. When I finally made a claim, it was smooth sailing after that. They walked me through the process, and within a few days, I got my replacement TV. There was a little bit of back and forth but it wasn't horribly complicated. Allstate is better than other warranties that I've dealt with. I got a warranty with a different provider on a recliner chair. They were a horrible nightmare. It took weeks upon weeks then they didn't even honor the full warranty. Having compared to that, Allstate was amazing. I will recommend it to everybody anytime.

    I had a recent claim for my damaged coffeemaker. They emailed me back saying that it was not possible to fix it. They were gonna keep the coffee maker that ultimately couldn’t get fixed. As soon as I gave them my receipt code on the bottom of the OR when I purchased the item, the process was quick online. That same day when I fill out all the questions and the stuff that I needed to fill out, they gave me the steps to send the damaged coffee maker back. The only thing was when they gave me the QR code or the code, I still had to pay out of pocket to get it sent over.

    Also, I didn't get a notification right away when the item was with them. I was just wondering if they got it or not. I was on edge. But I trusted and checked my emails constantly. When they actually got it, I got an email saying that they weren't gonna be able to fix it. But at least there could have been a heads-up, like, “Hey, we already got the coffee maker. We’ll give you an update in a couple of days.” My nerves wouldn’t have been all over the place then. In the end, Allstate kept in contact with me and it was great. I was given the option to choose between getting a refund or getting a replacement. I wanted a replacement.     I got a protection plan for an icemaker. When I bought it, the idea was that if it broke, I'd be reimbursed. But that wasn't the case and truth. When they asked for the receipt, I sent them a copy of it but I wasn't paid in full. The receipt was for $80, I got paid $50. Also, the price of the icemaker increased. The cost of a new one would have been $100 as opposed to the $80. Aside from that, the local repair people couldn't repair the broken icemaker. The repair would have cost more than the item and they found that out quickly. But after all was said and done, Allstate settled at $50 and to me, that means they didn't honor the agreement.

    We make claims online on the website, then Allstate gives either a credit for the amount in some cases, or they'll ask to ship the item to them. I've done it both ways. They'll either fix it or give me the purchase price. I can also send them an email or a chat, then they get back to me in a day. That's good. Allstate's price varies based on what is being insured, but it's reasonable in most instances. Overall, having a protection plan is quite valuable, but only if it is not too expensive. I've seen protection plans worth $200 for something that is worth $500. That doesn't make sense. I just roll the dice in those scenarios.

    I have Allstate on the phones and I'm glad I do. Typically, my husband and I haven't had phone insurance. We usually just have our old phone as backup and my son always made me get it because he works in the field where it’s a little rougher with stuff construction-wise. This time, my husband and I both ended up with $1,000+ phones and the Allstate protection plan was 120 bucks cheaper than the monthly plan. I was even told by them, technically, if I don't use it, I can return it for a refund if it has never had a claim or anything before the end of the contract.

    I ended up having my phone in my pocket, getting gas, and it fell out of my pocket face down onto the blacktop by the gas station, and cracked my screen. It wasn't even a couple months old. It was a $335 repair. I just deposited a $250 check last week. 85 bucks is a fair deductible because it's an expensive phone but I got back 250. My 120 is paid for two times already and I still have coverage. That's the first thing that happened to my phone in years, because the last time I had something happen, I didn't have insurance then. If you don't need it, fine. But if you do need it, thank God you got it.

    This claim was fairly easy to submit and figure out where to go. I submitted everything and then I ended up with an email back where it said I was approved and told me to go somewhere to get it fixed. I already got it done. So when I responded back and when it's already been fixed, there's a little bit of redundancy on the whole getting it done. But I had the check within the week. I already exceeded the purchase cost in money back in recovering a repair on my phone. But the Wireless Advocates is no longer in Costco, so we won't be able to buy phones at Costco anymore. Hence, I won't be able to buy the Allstate Plan. We just got phones in August and I had my last phone for four years, so I'm hoping to ride this one out for a little while, but I'm still bummed.

    I purchased a SQUARE TRADE Premium Warranty for a refrigerator and somehow they lost my info. I have been calling everyday for over a week and keep getting the runaround and they keep asking me to send more pics of my receipt and pics of my refrigerator with a handwritten not of the date and time the pic was taken. Over and Over... I have sent them in more than once and I keep getting the same response...That it will take 48 hrs to respond...but in the meantime I have been dealing with a leaking refrigerator for over a week even though I have a warranty that I Already Paid For!!

Then I am told everything has to go through email. This makes me feel even more sorry for the elderly who purchase a warranty and have little knowledge on using a computer to complete the process.

    I purchased this refrigerator a Nebraska Furniture Mart and they are no help whatsoever. I should've learned the first time when I made a furniture purchase and bought a warranty through Guardian Warranty Services and they were the exact same way when I tried to file a claim, but that time I finally did just give up, but I was told this is a different provider so I bought into it...     We bought multiple controllers and I pulled the receipts out and had them all jumbled together. So, I wasn't sure what receipt went with what box. When I had a claim, I had to call Allstate three times. The first time, the guy said we needed the right receipt. I wasn't sure what receipt it was, so the second time that I called, the girl said that I needed to submit an email with such and such receipt because there was not an open claim or policy. So I went online and went through each receipt and typed them all in. Finally, I found the one that was the receipt specifically for this controller. Then I called back the third time and the gentleman said that I needed to try to reach out to Microsoft. So I did reach out to them and they said there was nothing they could do for it and to call Allstate back.

    I called Allstate back and it was taken care of right then and there. So, this is the second time that we've had this happen. It wasn't explained to me till the second time. But it doesn't matter. The guy that I spoke to was a fellow gamer himself, and so he understood the frustration and disappointment when you start having issues and then you can't play. Then you gotta go to the store and call about the money, et cetera. So Allstate sent over an e-gift card.

    The gentleman told me that if there was a difference in cost, and if we submit the receipt, Allstate will end up giving us the difference somehow. But I told him, “I think the difference is only a couple of bucks. And I don't really care for the convenience and all that stuff. You guys are already doing us a big enough favor.” Granted we're paying for the insurance, but in my opinion, it's a big enough convenience just to get the majority of it back.

    Overall, the people at Allstate have been very patient and informative. But it would be nice if everyone across the board was trained the same way. If there is a drastic difference in cost, the people should know that the customer is being told that you do have the option to submit the receipt or however the process is to be able to get the money back.

    I used to be a manager of a call center and I know it's important that everyone's on the same page so someone is not telling the customer something and then they call back and someone tells them something different, or they're not knowledgeable of the product. But other than that, I've always been extremely satisfied with the entire process at Allstate. Every rep that I've spoken to has been very nice and helpful.

    The tablet wouldn't come on anymore. I called up the number that they had on the warranty. They were very helpful and patient with me. I had to hold on until they had something else to do as far as my claim, and whenever they came back, they always apologized. They sent me a free return label so that I could return the tablet. I did then it came back in four days after I had sent it to them. When I opened it up, it still wasn't working. It was doing exactly the same thing. I had it on the charger like they told me to but it didn't work. When I talked to Allstate about it and said that it still didn't work, they offered me a refund.

    I got Allstate for an electric toothbrush that I got at Walmart. We had an Oral-B that broke down pretty fast. So, I said, "Sure. Why not?" We didn't even have the toothbrush for a year and it started having problems with the charge on it, and then it just wasn't charging at all. To submit a claim with Allstate, I had to send the toothbrush in. It was only a day before they got back to me and told me, "We're sorry, we can't fix it.     Any time I've had issues with anything, Allstate always fixed it, and every time, I've been satisfied. The only thing I would complain about is that there's one TV I couldn't find the receipt for, even though I purchased the plan for it, because I didn't register it, which was all my fault. They couldn't do anything with the claim. Luckily, I ended up finding the receipt. People need to make sure and fill out the information in when they first get the protection plan and also hold on to receipt. ‘cause if they don't, then they're SOL. Any time I buy something with a protection plan on it, I take a picture of my receipt so I can have it for our records.

    I've had two claims recently. The last one was for a TV that was plugged into a surge protector. We had a storm and the lightning fried the main board on the TV. I called the 1-877 number and started the claim that way. I had to give the TC number off of my receipt in order to do the claim, and the reps did a good job. The claim went through the manufacturer's warranty, and Samsung sent somebody to come fix it. There was a factory warranty still under the unit, then after a year, it goes to the warranty that I paid for through Walmart. The time before that claim, Allstate just went ahead and reimbursed me for the TV.

    Allstate is like an electronic extended warranty. All they really are is they provide either a replacement or a fix. It's something that you would buy when you purchased something electronic, maybe even a phone. Sometimes they cover things like bicycles as well. One of the speakers on my headphones detached. I looked on the receipt and called the number that was on it to replace it. Allstate reimbursed me for them. Get the warranty.

    I got Allstate Protection Plan for my Ninja blender. I don't usually purchase insurance for electronics, and the reason why I purchased that one was because I knew it was going to be every single day use. What drew me in was the price of the insurance. I also submitted a claim and it went well. I sent out an email and then they replied requesting information, serial number and what was wrong with the item.

    I went ahead and provided all those information and then they sent me a gift card. It's less than the amount of the blender cost, but they said that once I purchase it, I could email them back the copy of the receipt and they would send me the difference in a gift card form.     We had our television about three months and when we went downstairs and turned it on, it wouldn't. It didn't get any power. We took a picture of our receipt and did a claim online. We had to talk to a claims person and submit a couple more pictures, then we talked to another claims person. It was a bit of a process, and I would have preferred a reimbursement, but Allstate offered a replacement. I went to show it to my husband and it was gone. Apparently, it was a one time thing and I couldn't get it back, which sucked.

    When we were picking out our replacement, we had three televisions to choose from, Samsung and all these other good ones. The rep told us the selection would be good for 24 hours, that it updates every 24 hours, but it was gone within an hour. Allstate mailed the replacement straight to us, but the brand we got wasn't Samsung, which is what we wanted. Besides that, my husband said the replacement is easier to work than our old TV.

    I bought a pressure washer and got a warranty for it through eBay. I used the pressure washer for about an hour the first time, then my son came in and said, "Hey, we're losing oil in the washer." I said, "What do you mean we're losing it? Is it leaking?"     My GE Opal ice maker quit making ice and it started making a loud noise. It was just before the holidays and I called Allstate. Filing a claim was a little learning experience and I didn't get a lot of guidance. It was a pain in the butt because I called and they said I had to submit it through email. It was difficult to get a claim number. That took me a week or two. Then, once I got the claim submitted, I called a person and they eventually got back to me a week later, then another person a week later, and another person a week later.

    I needed to get a quote to submit back to Allstate but I reached out to three or four people to come look at it and nobody in my area will come out here. But I don't like it that many times when I get to Allstate, it just has a plan number and it doesn't say what the item should be.     When we were buying the carpets, they sold the Allstate plan really well. They said it covers everything, pets, spills. We have five dogs and we spent 10 grand on carpet. But the process of filing a claim was horrible. We're a little challenged technically. The app that they have for it is hard to use. It didn't seem to work. I finally had to call and insist on speaking with a supervisor to do it for me, because the process online was ridiculous.

    First of all, they didn't have everything listed that was on there. I had to go back, pull last year's files out from my original receipt, and send them receipts of all of our carpets because they didn't have it. That was the first thing I had to do and that took about a week. They have this app. It's called Square that you're supposed to go into to file a claim and you click the item. It would only let you do one item at a time or one claim at a time. The whole claim process would have to be done before you could do the next one.

    Out of the 20 rugs we bought, I had nine then. I was not gonna send them out one at a time and then have them come back and do this for three months. So, I spent hours on the phone getting it set up. I had to tell them, “We are an elderly couple. We both have some disabilities. We need some help in this easy Square app and to get to a human on the phone.” They said, “If you're trying to file a claim, hang up and go to our website.” “No. I wanna speak to someone.” I’d get someone on the phone and they'd say, “You gotta do this.” I said, “I've done that.” It took many phone calls and several hours of time to get it taken care of. A supervisor had to go in and do it herself and get us in touch with someone to come take care of it. Then the tech did a great job. The company they used was really good. However, he took my carpet pads and didn't return them. So, I had to spend money to buy new carpet pads.

    My phone screen cracked so I took it in for repairs with the Allstate SquareTrade protection plan after paying my deductible. Called the location a week later and they said they were unable to locate a replacement screen—perhaps because the device was too new. So I called Allstate SquareTrade and they gave me a new place to take the phone. I picked it up and took to the second location—same problem. Finally they said to ship it to them for next day free repairs. This I did (after backing up my data).

    A week later they got back to me that the device couldn’t be repaired and they would send a check to replace it for $524.99. What!? How do I replace a $1200 phone for that? After being on the phone for an hour trying to get this fixed, they indicated that they could add an extra $200 but that was it. I said I would rather get my phone back but they said they couldn’t do that! What!? So unprofessional and worse than unhelpful. They stole my phone--this is highway robbery.

    The controller button was a month old and it just stopped working and a piece of plastic snapped off. We did the claims process right on the phone and it was easy. The only hard part we had was we weren't sure if the bar code works at the store. We brought the controller back to Walmart and I was one day short of returning it because they have a 30-day thing. But we had bought the Allstate protection plan, which was fine. Somebody at the store who had more knowledge got to the bar code, and they used that and applied it to the new controller. We exchanged the controller that I had purchased to the exact same one but the protection plan didn't cover the cost of what you paid for the controller, considering you even paid for the protection plan. Allstate doesn't cover taxes. But that’s the only downfall. Otherwise, it was great and simple. So we got another controller and bought another protection plan.

    We bought an LG microwave oven and a refrigerator and we put them on a protection plan. If we're not gonna take protection, we may get in trouble and lose a lot of money by fixing appliances ourselves. Any kind of breakage has happened more often in the recent years than it’s happened before. We submitted two claims to Allstate and to start it, I had all the information and we just went online. We called and I was surprised that we were able to reach somebody. It was after 6:00 and they were open and working. The experience was nice and good because we could reach somebody even if it was late and speak with them.

    With the microwave, we were told right away that it was not gonna be fixable. With the range, we were told that the technician would come but they never showed up and nobody responded to the phone number that we received to get in touch with them. So we had to call the insurance company again for the next step. We received the information that they cannot find at this time technicians who can come and fix it. So, we just returned the parts and received the money. I personally had a great experience with Allstate and I would recommend people to take insurances.

    We purchased a $3000 TV a few years ago, so getting a protection plan seemed to make a lot of sense. A few months ago a faint green line started appearing against certain color backgrounds. We filed a warranty claim with Allstate and they asked for pictures of the issue. I provided the pictures and they immediately rejected the claim, stating that it was screen burn in which they won't cover. First, it isn't screen burn in, second the TV has a screensaver which has been active on the screen since the day we bought it. I explained these things and they said I can try to get a refund from Costco for the price of the warranty. So it seems that their scam is to sell warranties and hope there are no claims. If there are claims, then they reject your claim and tell you to go get a refund for the warranty you purchased from them. What a sham.

    iPad was delivered to repair center on December 6th… It is now December 23rd…. After repeated calls and emails almost every other day, Allstate still has no expected delivery date.. iPad is still in repair department. Have been provided with false information as to status and delivery date. Allstate has stated that ipad is ready for delivery a week ago and then today they say ipad is still in the repair department with no delivery status update. Rep is unable to provide any diagnosis of the repair. This has been exasperating! Turnaround is supposed to be very quick.. 2 to 3 days… This is unacceptable.

    My experience is with this claim wasn’t the best. When I contacted the company I was told to go get the phone fixed and they would reimburse me for the money. At no time was it mentioned that they would only cover up to the cost of the phone. Had I known this I could’ve just put the money towards a newer phone.     Purchased a policy protecting headphones bought from Walmart. Headphones broke. Filed claim. Was told to contact company. Walmart refused to help pointing me back to protection plan. Allstate said to contact manufacturer. Because the headphones were made in China, which so much is nowadays, I couldn't reach any manufacturer. No reason to buy protection plan if AllState won't back their policy. I'm out the price of the headphones and the price of the protection plan.

    I was hesitant to buy a protection plan for one of my electronics which was a Xbox controller. When I called to get this replaced, and after being transferred by Walmart, the CSR that I spoke with, I felt had listened and solved my problem there on the phone.     I like having Allstate Protection Plans. I have them for multiple items from Amazon, Walmart and other places. Sometimes, filing a claim goes easy and there's less involved than other times. It doesn't make sense though that it's not the same every time. Allstate wanted me to submit stuff for the receipt for an online purchase that they were already aware of that I made. They don't require that on other insurance things and you just can tell them. Also, sometimes there's waiting time for hearing back on an item. I should have heard back on an item recently that I already submitted stuff for. It's taking longer than necessary and I'm wondering what's going on with that. But it's not a problem.

    Claims is out of country, can not understand reps cause English is broken, was a very bad process that took over a hour, had to call they 6 different times to get claim processed. Take it from this. Avoid the purchase of this warranty. They try everything possible to avoid the process of claim with so many questions and each rep is different, like, "What is the IME number of your IPHONE," or "Your address is not listed in database or does not exist, you name it & stay calm" which will be hard. Next thing was, "Take phone to a Apple repair center 2 hours away. Pay the bill (From estimate) of $549 and send us bill and we will reimburse you in two business days for a phone that was refurbished for $275," You got to be kidding me!!!!

    In order to use my protection plan, I needed to find the receipt and my membership number to the store where I bought my cellphone from. I needed to wait on hold for hours and days and try to talk to the right person. Nobody was helpful. I went from call center to call center in Bangladesh, India, and Mauritius. Nobody could quite comprehend the issue that I was going through.

    It took over two months for the final resolution. I had to keep calling to try and figure out where the refund was going to be. Every time I called, they would tell me to set up my account with them even though I already set up an account. They were not finding a record of it and that I should start over. I’ve never dealt with anything so chaotic. It seemed like somebody misfiled something in the beginning. They kept thinking that my protection plan was for something else and I would have to send them the receipt again.

    The protection plan was $20 for the cellphone and it had it clearly on the receipt. Whenever they finally did punch in the numbers I gave them, they're like, “Oh, I see it is for the cell phone.” I figured Allstate is a good protection plan for people who are proactive because if it was anybody else but me, that person might have given up. There were so many steps to it.

    The problem was I was speaking to people and there was a massive language barrier. No matter how much I explained it to them, they went back to their script. I sent the email probably 50 times and they still said they did not have it. Days later, I still didn't hear back. I finally called again and I had to open a whole new case. I was like, "This is probably how it works. Most people will not go through this. And so most people are probably not going to utilize it.” It's just 20 bucks and you think you have a production plan. The chances of you using it are probably low and the chances of you actually fulfilling the whole process of the protection plan is chaotic.

    I finally got the check and it took every ounce of patience left in my body to do so. There were moments along the process where I was like, “Is this even worth it? Let's just go get a new phone. My time is more valuable than sitting on hold for four days straight.” The worst part is I’d tell them one thing and then they would put me on hold then be for 30 minutes. I sat in silence. I kept asking, “Is there any way possible you can not put music on when you put it on hold?” It was driving me into a madhouse. Also, they didn't actually cover a replacement. They covered a refurbished phone and that was what I got. It only lasted another month and died. It's still under the warranty and I just don't have the heart to do it again.

    The claim that I was working on was with a Nintendo Switch. I was a little upset about it because I sent the product in the very first time because it had some liquid damage. I filed the claim, they sent me the shipping label, and so I sent it in. Then I got a confirmation that it had been received. They were working on it. Then I got a confirmation email that they were sending it back and that it had been repaired. I got it back but it wasn't repaired. So, I sent it back a second time and got the FedEx label, sent it in again, and returned it, and they sent another email, “Hey, we fixed it, we're sending it back.” I get it back the second time and it still was not repaired. This was weeks of going on. I sent it back the third time. I called after the third time that I sent it in, and they said that they would issue a refund. So now, I'm waiting for that refund.

I bought a Dyson refurbished from Walmart, along with a 3 year extended warranty. 1 year into ownership, and the battery didn't seem to hold a charge for as long, from the time we bought it.     I had a three-piece furniture set that was all torn up. I sent all the pictures in, and they said that they couldn't send somebody out to repair it. So they just refunded me, which was $999. But I can't replace the furniture with that. I would have rather had somebody come out to see if it can be fixed. But it didn't go that way. Allstate gave me a $500 eGift card to be able to shop on Wayfair, which was ridiculous. I don't want to buy furniture from Wayfair.

    I spoke to a gentleman at Allstatethe next day and told him, "Wait a minute. I only got the 500 and I thought it was my total 999 you guys were refunding me." He said, "Oh, yes. For some reason, it didn't go through. We'll submit it again." Then I got an email later that day stating all gift cards were unavailable. So they would be mailing me a check. It took a while, but they did send it for the remaining balance. I am kind of dissatisfied due to the fact that they should have sent me the whole amount, and I could have bought a set at another furniture store.

    It’s been 10 days since I placed the order for a gaming console on eBay in which I cancelled the order 16 minutes afterwards. Allstate refused to cancel the order for the protection plan even after the gaming console order was refunded. I’ve tried to contact Allstate 5 times, but with no response. Even though I paid for the worthless protection plan I never received it. The fact that EBay doesn’t cover this item with their buyer guarantee indicates that EBay is a complicit enabler in this money grab scam. This ordeal that wreaks of fraud has been a learning experience for me. I’ve been a buyer and seller on EBay since 2010 and this is by far my worst experience.

    We bought the TV in January for the Super Bowl and it was already giving us manufacturer issues. There's a line that was going through the TV and it wouldn't go away. It would disappear and it would come back. So I decided to file a claim to Allstate. Mike, the rep, put it in and got everything going. Then he said that they would send an email and to take some pictures of the TV. I sent all the information and didn’t get a response. I sent the claim back in March and I called again in October because now, the TV just didn't want to turn on at that point. You could hear it, but you couldn't see a picture.

    I had to file another claim because Allstate closed it. So, I had to call back and I was extremely frustrated because they said they never received the email when I have the email and the confirmation of the attachments. Then, they said they never received the claim and I was a little bewildered about that. So, I was upset. I talked to a supervisor and she was able to take care of me. She told me that they were gonna send me an email regarding a replacement for the TV. A month passed by and I got it in November.

    About a couple of days ago, I had to call back again to find out the status of the replacement of the television. I talked to another gentleman and he helped me out and stayed on the phone with me while I got the email and explained to me this and this. So now that we filed the claim, we went through the Fast Cash thing so my husband could go pick out another television. We haven't received the check yet, because I just got an email saying that it was mailed out to me. It would take about five to seven business days, which is fine. So once we get that, then I'm literally just gonna hand it to my husband and tell him to get his TV and be done with it. But other than that, it has been resolved for the most part. But it was just the process, the frustration. We're in November. So, it’s about nine months. I could have had a baby by then.

    Allstate Protection Plans sent a repair person for the dishwasher. On the third attempt, they figured the machine was dead. Allstate reimbursed the price of the machine. We're in the market of purchasing a new one. I was satisfied with the service. However, it was unusual going into the internet to try fill up the claim then they said it was not available on the internet and to call them. When I called, they told me to go back to the internet. Sometimes it's easier to talk than to write the explanation. But it was resolved and I was impressed.

    I had a problem with this machine during the first two years. It was a lemon from the get-go. When I was calling through the Costco, it was a lot longer time to schedule. Costco would provide through other means an appointment then I would wait but nobody showed up. Apparently, the other guys didn't get that notification. On the previous few attempts through the Costco, it was a lot more painful versus this time. We have a family of seven so without the dishwasher, it's an issue. This time, I made the call Tuesday and following Monday, a person was already here. Allstate's response was quick.

    Allstate Protection Plans is a great option. If anything goes wrong, you get a replacement or get reimbursed for something equal to the value of the product. If you don’t get the full amount, at least you get something where you can put a little bit of money with it to replace whatever went wrong.

    I filed two claims at the same time. One was for the subwoofer speaker that I purchased from Walmart. It was turning on, but the speaker was not working. The other one was for the Noco battery jumper cable where you could self-jump off your vehicle without having to use another vehicle. It was not taking a charge anymore. I did the claim from the Walmart app. I clicked into that, went to protection plans and logged into the Allstate website. Sometimes you have to add more information where you type in, especially what you're experiencing with the product. The times I did it in the past, it’d take you to the next screen and ask you what you'd like to receive. It gives you a value for the product and asks you would you rather get a check in the bill or get a gift card for the amount to use at Walmart. Sometimes you have to send the product in, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes they'll arrange for someone to come out and check it out.

    I'm not very happy with Allstate. When I first contacted them, they could not see where I had purchased the protection plan. They couldn't find it off the receipt. I sent them a copy of the invoice from Menards. The next day, they finally found where I had purchased the protection plan. However, I have called so many times to get correct answers, which I could not get. I talked to Shania. She was a good girl. She told me what I needed to do and confirmed that the claim has been approved, and I had to pay it out of pocket for the technician to come out and look at the refrigerator to determine what was wrong with the refrigerator. She told me if it was more than 80%, don't let them repair it. That's exactly what happened.

    As the refrigerator guy was here, I called them again because he wanted to let them know that this particular part would not be available until March of 2023. I had to go around and around to try to get somebody to talk to him to let them know that this is not being repaired. I paid him $171. I had to send that receipt in too. Then they couldn't find that receipt, so I had to send it again. I can't even get into the claim now. I talked to a supervisor. I was supposed to have a Menards gift card so I could go out and purchase another refrigerator. That hasn't happened. You have to go through the same process. If you've got a claim number, you shouldn't have to go through the same process then ask you where you purchased the refrigerator. They should be able to look at that claim and understand what it is. I'm without a refrigerator and have been since October the 21st. I'm tired of hollering and trying to get it taken care of. I'm in the process of sending out something to the CEO on the poor processes.

    Filing a claim was easy. Lucky I had a box and shipping materials to send out laptop. Fast return had me excited not being without my laptop for too long. Sadly I was disappointed when I pulled laptop out of shipping materials. Cosmetics damages were repaired. Palm rest and bottom cover were bent back to descent shape with scuffed edges. Cracked screen was replaced while outer shell of screen was also bent back to accept replacement screen. Although there is still a largely noticeable dent towards upper corner. The web cam has a slight glitch. That glitch consisting of cam privacy.

    When disabling web cam via button on keyboard, there is a white Sutter that covers cam. It remains open despite of disabling web cam. Shutter partially closes for a split second and remains open despite of web cam being disabled. I am aware the product is functional to an extent. Corrupt hard drive was replaced with less performance than what was factory installed by HP. I simply had high expectations or repairs.
