I called Allstate to file a claim. My computer broke. The rep said, “You send the computer, and we'll send it back in seven days.” But, I couldn't do that when I was using it for work. He gave me three options, like send it to wherever and they repair it. Or find a repair shop near me and pay the money, and they'll refund me. I told him that was absolutely unacceptable when I paid $80 for their insurance so I wouldn't have to do that. He said, “Okay, no problem. Let me see what I can do.” He came back on the line and said, “We're going to issue you a full refund.” He asked me, “Do you accept this as your settlement on this insurance claim?” I said, "Absolutely." They sent me an e-gift card in two days. I'm impressed.

Everything was good with Allstate. I've never had to use it before and this is the first time I've ever done it, but it was very easy to do and it's nice that you can do it all online, too. I made a claim on a recliner. The process was fairly quick for everything. Everything from start to end was just a matter of weeks. They replaced the item. It was a good experience.

The first time I filed claim, I did it online and I needed to call back the customer service. The second time, everything went smoothly and I didn't even reach out to anybody. I got a confirmation email in the next two days, and the techs checked in a couple of days. It's really worth purchasing the warranty. The service and response are really good.

I had purchased a Vizio Sound System & it died a little over 2 years. I had purchased a 3 years extend warranty. I contact All-State Protection Plan, they e-mailed me a shipping label, & I shipped it out on a Friday, They rec'd it on the following Monday & I rec'd a Check on the following Saturday. NO QUESTIONS asked, NO PROBLEM, they were AWESOME! I would suggest everyone to purchase an extended warranty.

The person that I spoke to was professional and graceful but my experience was terrible. It was a waste of my time. My laptop was malfunctioning. I ran diagnostics, which I understand they wanna run diagnostics to make sure it becomes cost-effective. I fully appreciate that. What happened though was it came back as a software error. I have to go find another laptop to go to a website and download a potential fix, which I still haven't done, to see if I could get my laptop fixed instead of sending it to them for analysis. It's like having health insurance and you go to the hospital and they say, “Go home. We're gonna have you take out your own appendix. If you can make it through that, we'll know that was the solution.” I bought all my laptops through Costco. I'd used Allstate's service. The other ones were reasonable. I would have complimented them on everything up to this point.

It took me three trips to Menards before I could get ahold of someone. Explained it was something with the electronics. They sent a drain pump which didn’t change then they sent a lid lock. I put it in and it didn’t change anything. It’s still something electronic. I have an appointment on 6-17-2023. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a warranty in 30 years.

The screen of my 75-inch video TV had lines through it. Then while I was on the phone submitting a claim, it went completely black. Allstate had me do some other things. I was on my phone for about 30 minutes. But it didn't fix it. So they said they were gonna replace it and it would take a couple of days. But they wouldn't let me put the TV that I wanted. The next day I received an email and they were just gonna send me the money for the TV because they couldn't find one that would replace the same TV that I had. Within five days, I received what I paid for my TV originally, and I went and bought another TV.

Allstate insurance protection. I cannot tell you how amazing is coverage is. That’s far I’ve had the privilege and honor of working with Allstate to resolve six online purchase. Either the electronics broke or they stop working. Initially, I was apprehensive at first in purchasing the coverage along with the technology. What I can tell you is it is worth every penny. In six cases out of six, all were either replaced, or I received a check for the entire amount of the purchase securing the protection from Allstate at the time of purchase, is one of the wisest choices I’ve ever made in shopping online. The coverage gives me complete confidence to shop with ease, and without stress with the purchase, because I know they will cover me.

I was heartbroken when my television went out and I called the claim agent and they attempted to help me fix it and it couldn't be and to my surprise in no time I had my check with no hassle and the staff are so friendly. My check came within 3 days. I am so happy. Thank You.

I have been waiting since 5/24 for a check for my sectional couch. I have been getting the runaround about when my check was mailed. I did not receive that check. Then I called again on 6/2. I was told the check will be mailed. Here we are on 6/9 and I still have not received that payment either. This is the third week and I AM STILL WAITING. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISORGANIZED.

From start to finish I was helped through the whole process. Printing out the return label was easy and shipping it wasn’t bad either being I was able to drop it at a Walgreens Fedex drop off. Fix time was about 5 days and I was returned my fixed item in no time.

One of the buttons on the Xbox controller went out on it seven months after I bought it. So, the manufacturer warranty was expired. I went online and I tried to submit my claim with Allstate. They said, "Your device is still covered by the manufacturer." So, I went to Microsoft and I spent a couple of hours trying to get somebody on the phone there, and they said, "You're beyond your manufacturer's warranty." I had to go back to Allstate and the lady I spoke with understood the situation but it took forever. I don't mind things taking forever if the resolution is cheap. She put me on hold several times but always came back to say, "Hey, you know, I haven't forgotten about you." She was great. She got me where I needed to go. She was very understanding.
In the last five years of having an Xbox, me and my sons had gotten about 12 controllers between us, and we're not hard on them, but they stuck. Microsoft makes really bad controllers. I talked to the Allstate rep about the broken button, and she gave me an option of cash or a Walmart gift card. The cash would have taken over a week to get it. But the gift card was immediately made available to me, and I was able to run to Walmart the next day, which was great. The gift card was $10 less than what I spent originally. So, I had to come out of pocket for some of it, but I didn't wanna be on the hold anymore.

Three weeks ago I made a call Allstate to make a claim and my experience was good with the process. I had delays on the videos. Sometimes, you could see the image stopping for three or four seconds, and then freezing for five or six minutes. I had to go back to the menu and reinitiate the application that I was running, either in Netflix, Apple TV, or YouTube TV. It was happening in all the applications. After I made a claim, I left the location for about a week. I'm back in the house as of last week, and I'm still seeing some issues. It's less after the help that I got from the technical support. But it's still a little bit lagging.
The guy told me that whenever I had it happen again, to send a video. I have a couple of videos taken but I haven't been able to upload them because I haven't had the time. The customer service reps were very good. They were very speedy in the process, and very clever on the instructions. It was kind of lengthy instructions for a do-it-yourself. I do work myself with help desk as well. But it was good.

Chair reclining mechanism broke. Allstate reimbursed me with minimal waste of time. Info was sent online and resolution was quick. I have had a lot more hassle from some companies when it was their product that failed. Allstate was respectful and fast.

Refrigerator's fan runs constantly. Before any service, many calls/emails from Square Trade, Allstate, Nana Home Services (most difficult) and Appliance Fix (AF). AF came 6/6/23 at 1:00 pm. 3 reminders for service 6/6/23 service 8:00am to 12 noon by many to remind us by phone/email early morning. None came until 1:00pm arrived by Jose (and his phone calls to Jamie). Jose could not fix as a part is needed, plus Freon. Will the part and Freon fix the problem?? Or, is there a Freon leak that will occur? AF to return in 3 to 5 days or June 12: Please ADVISE.

I purchased Allstate for an outdoor umbrella for a patio set that we have. I initially made a phone call last year. It was a five-year plan, so I decided to hold off another year, since it faded so badly the first couple of years that I had it. It was not in horrible shape. But I had another issue that happened last summer with it, so I decided to do it this year.
When I called, I couldn't dial an 800 number any longer to roll through the claim. I had to go through some process through a website and register it and send photos. It was a little bit more tedious than initially it would have been. It was just a little confusing to get the process going. But once that was done, it was quick. We've already gotten our refund check, so we appreciate that.

At first it didn’t seem like they were gonna take care of my claim because it was filed the day prior to it ending. After chatting with a claims adjuster online they took care of my problem and sent me a check for the cost of a new machine including shipping price … They don't pay the shipping but I was able to find a great buy on a new one with free shipping but they’ll cover whatever a new one cost, if it’s over the amount they gave you send them the receipt and they’ll pay you back. I already bought another warranty for the new machine. Thanks for coming through. Square deal ..

I got the warranty with my Midea air conditioner. The AC blew out and I tried to get a replacement but they don't make them anymore. Allstate tried to give me money on a Visa card. But I asked them if they can give me my money back on the payment and they said no. I talked to the supervisor and she just sent me out a check. The process was quick. I will refer people to Allstate.

I have a warranty on my tablet, and I called to get it back online when I couldn't get it to take my password. They walked me through it and it was great. The only problem I have is sometimes it's hard to understand certain people. They have a foreign accent. Other than that, I'm happy with Allstate. I also have renter's insurance and car insurance through them and it's been great.

I bought a griddle last year and took it to places, to other people's houses, the creek and the lake. I found that one of the burners wasn't working properly, and it was out of the manufacturer's warranty, but I had a protection plan through Walmart, which is with Allstate. I did the claim, then I called the next day because when I filed, they claimed it was towards the end of the day and it needed someone to send it through. They took care of it and sent me a gift card to replace the griddle. All in all, getting the protection plan is worth it. It was just an extra 30 bucks on top of my purchase and I was able to work out everything to get a new one. I don't know what happened with my last one, but I'm glad I had the protection plan.

I bought another GE air conditioner a couple of years ago, and this year, it wouldn't cool. I contacted Allstate, and they were very helpful. I thought they would want me to take it somewhere and get it fixed. But no, they sent me the money. I'm pleased with them.

When I went to put my hand in my pocket, the ring bent. I had a claim but after getting it fixed, I had another claim because two diamonds fell out. Plus the ring is still bent. Submitting the claim is a pain because not everybody has a printer to print stuff out and that's the only way you can do any claim.

I have an outdoor swing. I filed a claim but their website had issues. It hung up and the claim wouldn't go through. I had to do it all over again including waiting on hold for somebody to get on the phone. Other than that, I'm happy. They refunded me to get a new one. It was three days before they sent the check out. Having an extended warranty is very good. I just wish that they sent me another swing instead of giving me a check because it wasn't even for the full amount that I got back. It was just for what the swing cost before taxes and shipping.

We've been using Allstate since 2010 and we have had good experiences up until this one. We got it for a Pixel 5 phone. The phone broke. My daughter is a college student. She's away at school. She got a bright green vertical line down the front of the phone. She had taken it to a uBreakiFix there to see what was going on. They told her that it was not repairable. We said, “We have insurance, so we'll go through there.” We contacted Allstate. Finally, they got us to go to a repair place that was never open when they were supposed to be open. After three days of driving half an hour to this place, he told us that it was not repairable, which we already knew and had already communicated. He did nothing on his end.
I had to talk to three people on Allstate's end to get them to authorize a new phone without getting information from them. The whole thing was super frustrating and took way longer than it should have. I started an online thing because it was frustrating to call because it took forever. Four different people before I got the right one. Also, every time I'd start an online chat, they'd say, “We can't assist you with that online. You have to call this number. Press this number.” But it never went where it was supposed to. It was really the most frustrating experience ever. I am definitely planning to cancel all the rest of my policies with Allstate.

I had a steamer for clothes that I used a handful of times then it wouldn't turn on anymore. I had it for less than six months and it stopped working no matter how much I did. I changed out everything and it didn't work. It was a Walmart item, so I went to Walmart Protection and it asked me a couple of questions. I answered it, and because the item was beyond repair, they just issued me the credit. The experience was easy going. It got me out, and it got me throughout my day.

I use Allstate for my home and auto, and they are good. I also have their protection plan for a Nintendo controller, and it's fantastic. When a button on the gaming controller wasn't working, I reported it and they offered either to replace it or to just give me the money so I could buy another one. I did that, and they gave me a couple different options to get the money, which was great. I got Target gift cards.

I needed my cell phone replaced. The agent was helpful, knowledgeable, courteous. He explained it all to me. Processed my claim, asked what happened. I told him. I was told by ** the replacement will be free, totally free, but I had to pay $50. You need to get your information to them so they know not to tell people this. That is the only thing I was upset about. My phone came in one day. Thank you.

I filed a claim for a 58 inch TV, it was the best experience I have ever had with a protection plan, I contacted Allstate to file the claim, they wanted me to call them so we could do some troubleshooting on the TV. It took about 10 minutes to complete and told me I would be getting a refund with a check in the mail, it took about 4 days to get it and the claim was complete. Very fast and friendly service, I would recommend everyone get this protection plan when you buy a TV. It is well worth it.

I received no solution to my concern from Square Trade (services Allstate Protection Plans for Costco). Since I first filed my claim I have not received a solution. I originally purchased my iPhone 13 Pro from Costco with an Allstate Protection plan (Square Trade). I believed this would be a great option since it was through Costco. Little did I know this was not like the insurance I usually get where my phone is REPLACED not repaired. The first thing I experienced was the website to start my claim had a glitch that created an error that did not allow me to input my address so I would have to reach out to customer service.
30 minutes later I was able to select a place, A to Z Wireless (1 hour drive away), which ended up telling me once I arrived their shop would close permanently at that location located in San Diego, CA. Waste of day and gas. I reached out again after days of now being without a working device to change the repair location. I was then told by Shah at Square Trade (Allstate insurance) that I had to go to a Best Buy to repair but she could not confirm my device would be repaired and didn't have an address where I can take it. My wife with 3 kids and busy work schedule IS STILL WITHOUT a phone and basically I have to drive around, find a repair shop that will, according to Shah "need to itemize my repair" in order for me to be reimbursed the repair plus a deductible on top of the plan I pre-purchased at Costco.
This is the WORST service for any device I have ever had. I would not take away time from my family to address this complaint/feedback if it wasn't this bad. Costco, Allstate, Square Trade, BBB please take notice, facilitate, prioritize or contact the required individuals to send me a replacement device ASAP. I am not driving around aimlessly to once again get turned away. I have my proof of purchase, receipt, box, device, and anything you need for reference. I've done my part and more than I should as a consumer who paid a premium.

I like the Allstate insurance that they provide for any electronic devices. I have used it in the past and the process went smoothly. They told me what to do. I returned the product, and they analyzed and repaired it then sent it back. Their response is quick, and they don't give you a hard time. I put in a claim recently for an iPhone, and they told me that the phone is still covered under Apple, so I had to take it to an Apple store.

My first set of subwoofers burnt out. I contacted Allstate for the claim and Kicker's for the subwoofer. I shipped everything to them and they shipped the new pair back on to me. I had to pay for shipping and I had to get a copy of my contract and send to them.

The tv's screen went out. We could hear the sound, but there were no pictures. I talked to the people at Allstate Protection Plans. They had a few of them, all of us having the same problem. They sent a new TV. It was a different brand, which brand is a little better. I called them on a Friday. And I had the tv Tuesday. It took less than a week. Everybody should get Allstate when they purchase electronic if it's offered to them. Because it did what it was supposed to do. And it wasn't a hassle to replace the unit.

I've got a plan for a Nintendo Switch. I'm still having trouble trying to get it fixed. I called Allstate and they said, "Well, it's still under factory." I called the factory and they wanted me to give them a debit card. But I have an Allstate Plan. I can't get into the claim service at Nintendo. So I called Allstate back. I've had zero to no help. I tried to get on chat, and the rep was taking 15 hours to try to reply. I work 12-hour shifts on night shift. I don't have time to sit up all day and try to talk to people.

I bought Allstate Protection Plans through Sam's on a microwave I bought. You want additional protection. I've used this service one time on a chair that I bought through Mayfair as it was defective. The stitching came undone and they said they didn't have anybody to fix it. I had to send some pictures of the defect and a week or two later, I got a check in the mail. They gave me a cashback for the initial purchase price. It covered the initial price of the chair but it didn't cover the sales tax or the cost of the warranty. The warranty was $54 or something like that. It was a three-year warranty.
As far as electronics goes, I bought the plan now on maybe three different things. With the way electronics are today, they're no longer last. The protection plan is worth buying. Most of those warranties may have expired without ever being used. You better be safe than sorry considering how things are made in China. All in all, I've recommended Allstate Protection Plans to several people. I had great experience with them.

I had a claim for a TV set. I bought it less than a year ago, and there are lines that are running from top to bottom of the screen. I spoke to a couple of reps doing the initial investigation and everybody was very polite. They. resolved the issue in a timely manner and they refunded me the total price. I'm satisfied with the warranty.

My son's Switch has stick drift. The screen is cracked and the buttons don't work like they're supposed to. We were trying to get the warranty because it's expiring this year. It was my first time making a claim and Allstate emailed me saying that someone will be in touch but no one did. So, I didn't know what else I was supposed to do. I mentioned it to the chat people online and I still didn't hear anything back from them.

I had an issue with my seat and they were supposed to send out a check. I was supposed to receive it within 10 business days. But I never got it. Other than that, the their explanation of the plan when I purchased it 'cause I was able to get my money back.

One of the latches on the headphones to twist the earmuffs ended up coming loose, so I used the warranty to send it back. Previously, when I first bought the warranty, Allstate sent me an email, so I went for that email then went on their website and put in the serial number and the order number. After a day, they responded, requesting that I ship it back. They ended up replacing the part, and I got my headphones back after a week. It's really important to have a warranty, and Allstate is very convenient. It's very useful in case something unexpected happens.

My husband dropped the phone and the screen broke and cracked. I went through Allstate to see if it was still within my time frame and it was, thankfully. I submitted the claim online and then it said that they would contact me and to wait to be approved. It was approved, but they ended up calling me and asking additional questions. They mailed me the wrong phone because they were out of stock of the phone that we had before. So I had to return that one. They ended up mailing me a check for the price of my original phone. The reps put me on hold a lot, but they were really polite and they made sure everything got sent to me. It was a smooth process. They were very helpful and took care of what I needed. Allstate is a great company. They took care of us.

On 3-9-23 I filed a claim, the claim was approved and I was told I would receive a reimbursement check for 118.00 within 5 business days, since then I have called the claims center several more times, each time I was told I would receive a check for 118.00 in 5 to 7 business days, it's been over 2 months now and I still haven't received it.

I purchased a 3 year protection plan for $30, and my product stopped working within a week. I was told to file a claim with the manufacturer, who did not respond. Allstate told me they would reimburse the cost of the product for me to purchase a new machine. Fine. However, upon deeper inquiry, my new machine would not be covered by the warranty. I would need to purchase a new plan. So on top of losing any applied discounts, I now have to pay an additional $30 for a new protection plan. I've never heard of such ridiculousness! Never again!

Purchased a Hisense and the Allstate Protection Plan from Walmart and experienced several occasions where the Wi-Fi would drop and not reconnect unless I reset the tv. Filed claim and was connected with a Hisense rep that had me go through my cell hotspot to update the tv settings. Took quite a while, but when it finished and I tried to connect to Wi-Fi, same error popped up. They insisted they would call back, but didn’t. I logged back into my Allstate account again and noticed they closed my claim, so I opened another and was instructed to call again.
Upon explaining the issue, I was told my plan did not cover “software issues”. WHAT??? They told me my only option is to refund me the price I paid for the plan, which is $26. Guess that’s better for them than having to pay to have my tv repaired or replaced. By the way, could not find anywhere on their site that “software issues” are not covered. People tell me that service plans are great until you have to use them. Guess I should have listened to them…

Don’t waste your money and time! I had an issue and called and was told to put in claim online. Well online gave me error codes. I called 5 times and the non English speaking representatives are clueless!!! It’s supposed to be an easy process but took me over a week to get claim processed. After that, I finally received the claim payment in the WRONG NAME!!! Unbelievable!

Bought glasses at Sam's Club in Abilene, Texas on 4-29-22 with Allstate warranty. On 3-28-23 nose pads were loose and fell off my wife - she stepped on them breaking right lens and frame. Took to Sam's - said broken beyond repair and to contact Allstate. On 4-3-23 @ 2:51 pm filed claim on-line with Allstate. Said claim accepted and Claim #** was assigned. I chose a Sam's Club Gift card for reimbursement so we could replace glasses.
Email said card would be mailed an to allow 1-2 business days to process. I was also required at this time to pay a deductible of $25 by credit card which was also received and verified by email. One week passed - no card or any contact from Allstate. 4-14-23 tried to contact Allstate but would not allow me other than say "claim in Process"! Contact on 5-3-23 "claim in Process"! Contact on 5-5-23 "claim in Process"! Numerous E-mails sent begging for response since my wife depends on glasses to drive/everyday activities. As of today (5-8-2023) NOTHING from Allstate on claim ** started on 4-3-2023. No response!

We bought a laptop in November of ‘21 and it stopped working one night. I did not know that we bought a warranty but as I was going through some things, I found it. I called Allstate and it was a great experience. I went online and told everything. Initially, some man that is in the organization with my husband said, “I'll take it home and I'll fix it.” We couldn't even get the screen. The screen looked like it had been broken even though it was never dropped. It was a very weird screen.
In the end, we sent it to Allstate and I thought they would send us a new one or money. But they said they would be returning our computer instead. We got it last week and it's working. My husband is already using it because he likes it better than the one that he had just bought. I would recommend Allstate wholeheartedly. This made me aware that it is good to have a protection plan on things. When you go into Walmart or Best Buy, they’ll say, “You want the warranty?” Generally, I say, “No.” But if it's within reason, I need to do it. For a $100 item, the warranty may be worth it.

I have multiple items covered with Allstate such as controllers and refrigerators from Walmart. It's convenient. We recently did a claim for a steamer. My wife just started using it, but it wouldn’t power on. Every time I would send a claim, they would do it right off the bat. But this time, they asked me a lot of forms. I sent it, but they never got back to me. I had to fill out the form again, send it back, but it was the same thing. Finally, it went through. The product was $59, and they sent me a check for $50.

I have bought all my Electronics from there and bought the protection plan on everything that I buy and I've had a difficult time getting claims to go through. They get approved but I never see any of the results like my Blu-ray player. This is the second time I've had to have them send me the money to buy a new one because the same thing went out of it that went out in the first one and trying to get them to send me in the mail mailing labels for the other two items I have to send to them one for repair and one for cash back, the Blu-ray was a cash back too, but they keep telling me they're going to send me a gift card through the email. That's been 10 days ago. He said it would be 24 hours and it's been way more than that.
And every time I call in to ask they say it's going to be another 24. Today they told me to keep the Blu-ray and they would just send me a Walmart gift card within 24 hours. That was over a week ago and still haven't received it. This morning they said they were sending it in the mail. This time instead of on my email. Too bad I've had nothing but trouble with this protection plans. I hope they figured it out because I'm getting tired of having to sit here for an hour on the phone with them while they figure out what's going on.

I got reimbursed for the electric hairbrush that did not work for me. I’m very satisfied. If I buy another item that is offering me insurance, I will definitely go for it. It pays off. However, I called Allstate as soon as the hairbrush broke but couldn't do it through the phone. I had to get online. I was ready to forget about it but did it. I sent a copy of the receipt. But I didn't get any notice if I had to return the item so I still have it here.

I did two claims with Allstate. For the claim on the grill, Allstate told me that I need to find someone to repair it. They said it's not worth repairing it. But I haven't found anyone that will give me that on writing. The claim for the gaming chairs was solved. In the beginning however, I had a lot of trouble because they were broken and the leather was coming off. Allstate said the leather wasn't covered. I called Office Depot and they said that everything should be covered including the leather coming off, but Allstate kept on telling me no. I kept on calling Office Depot, and Office Depot keep calling Allstate. That was how Allstate ended up giving me whatever my chairs were worth. But that took at least a month and they made me go back and forth with the store.
When you still have a warranty on your stuff that you purchased, Allstate wants you to go through the warranty first, and if the warranty doesn't wanna cover, then you have to go through them. I'd rather purchase the item and if I still can return it to the store, I'd rather return it to the store instead of going again through all this.

I have a claim pending on a refrigerator that we purchased. We have reached out to a service provider but we don't have a service scheduled at the moment. I did not know the inner workings of the Allstate extended warranty plan. I just made an assumption that it would extend the service through a service contract and whatever the manufacturer's servicing company would service the product. But I learned that I would need to engage a service provider, request service, get an invoice, get reimbursed for that invoice, et cetera. I've never bought an extended warranty plan that worked like that and for me, it's inconvenient because I don't want to hunt down the right service provider for the product, schedule that, get them out here, pay for it out of my pocket, and submit a reimbursement. All of that is extra work that I would prefer my extended warranty company to care for themselves.

They didn't ask how. They were like, "Okay, well, it's not covered under the warranty." So I accidentally smashed my 5 year old's tablet after her just getting it two weeks before!! I felt so bad. Not only did we pay $129 for it but we also got the insurance on it for an extra $30! It was one of those recliner chairs that when you push it, it's capable of going all the way up so that the person can stand. I was charged for the assembly of the chair and for the protection plan. The chair didn't work and I contacted Wayfair. They answered my complaint and they said they were gonna send somebody to fix it because it would only rise and recline. If they could not fix it, they were gonna replace it with a new one. I then got an email that said, "In talking with the manufacturers, the chair has been discontinued." They also sent me an email saying, "You bought the chair in October, and it's now January and we only have a 60-day warranty on our products." It was past 60 days when all this was going on and there was nothing they were gonna do about it.
Allstate handles the product protection plan and Wayfair connected me to them. They said that the only thing that can be done is to refund my money. The people that I dealt with at Allstate originally told me that my protection plan covered me through October 2025. When I originally called them, this was before they told me that I went over my 60-day warranty. I dealt with so many people.
From the time that I had the chair, I was paying them on my Wayfair credit card $100 a month. In addition to the money that they owed me for the chair, they owed me $300 that I had already paid on the chair, for which they're now going to refund my money. This went on and on. They started playing games with me about returning my money. The experience was horrendous. I'm going to the Department of Consumer Affairs because they are liars. At first, I got a thing that they're gonna $56 in change then I got another that said $300 in change. I couldn't get a straight answer. Finally, I got one check and I got a note that they're gonna send me a check for $410.17. I never got it. I called them and they said they sent it out to me. When I said I never got it, I was told they were gonna connect me to the one who handles the financial end of it.
I am dissatisfied with Wayfair. At one point, I asked them, "Well, if you're telling me that the manufacturer said that the chair was discontinued, and you told me you're gonna replace the chair if you can't fix it, then why don't you provide me with a chair of equal monetary value?" They said, "No, we deal with lots of manufacturers, and we don't do that." I thought I was asking a valid question. I told them to send me a chair of equal monetary value and they said they don't do that.
I was also told that the one who has to issue the checks is Citi. I spoke to somebody named Kyle. I was told they were gonna issue me a check. I said, "I just got an email that you're gonna send me $410.17." they said they sent it and that is I don't receive it by the end of the day on Friday, which was the 17th, I was to call back. I called on Tuesday and this time I spoke to somebody by the name of Baron who said they will reissue the check. I got the chair in October and I finally got a check for 400 sometime last week.

Allstate has been very good. With this kind of stuff, you can be on the phone for five hours when you call in for diagnostic. But the process with Allstate is very straightforward. They take it and fix it. I recently filed a claim for a laptop. My son mailed it in. Years ago, I had one issue but the claims process is usually smooth. It got mailed back. I was able to reroute it to have it delivered to a Walgreens store instead of my son's apartment. They tried to accommodate things. It would have to be mailed back to me then I would mail it from California out to New York, which would be absurd. The plan is usually not terribly expensive if you buy it directly through Costco or one of those providers. I bought the plan for the laptop separately so it was expensive.

I did a claim for my Fitbit. I had to get an order number from Allstate. I gave them a little bit of information and the process wasn't too hard. They covered X amount of dollars and gave me a refund check. I paid $100 for my Fitbit and I got 70 some dollars. I bought my first Fitbit on QVC and it was discounted. But when I went to Sam's Club and bought a new one, it was a little more pricey. I didn't have to pay the whole amount though. My check come right after I purchased it. Having Allstate Protection Plan is important and I'm very happy with it. I am very satisfied with the customer service. They walk you through any type of questions you have. It's easy for your claim to get submitted and for them to follow through with making it correct.

I turned the computer over on its side to set it on a desk, and then it started clicking instead of working. I reached out on the online form and then Allstate told me that I still had a warranty so I needed to call HP. But when I went to HP, there was no warranty. There was no service because it was a refurb. So then I reached back out to Allstate, and they said they needed some kind of letter that said that they HP was not servicing it anymore. So I reached out to the seller of the item who only gave a 30-day warranty with the item. I got the email, and then somebody had called me back in a couple of days later. I told him it was a refurb and it was not covered anymore. So he took care of it from there.
The rep gave me a phone call and after we got off the call, he asked me to push a couple buttons on the computer. Then he said, “Okay. Well, it sounds like your hard drive came undone, came detached or something. So I'm gonna email you a label.” He emailed the label. I printed it off and I put the tower in a box and took it to FedEx. They fixed it and sent it right back. It only took a week to get it back, which was really surprising. They covered the whole shipping there and back here.

My iphone battery failed to hold a charge within the warranty period. There was some confusion about the possibility of repairing it, and I had trouble finding a good method of communication, but eventually it was determined to not be repairable and I was refunded.

Our 14 month old Kitchenaid dishwasher just stopped washing on the day before Easter. We called SquareTrade on Monday, April 10. They scheduled a repair person for the following Monday, April 17. The repair service contacted us later on April 17 to tell us that they had a technician available on April 11. The technician arrived later than expected but on April 11 and diagnosed the issue. The circulating pump had failed. He ordered the parts while still at our house. The parts arrived on April 13 and we notified the repair service. The technician returned on April 17 and completed all repairs, test ran the dishwasher, and provided us with a Paid In Full invoice for the repairs. We were very satisfied with the support provided by SquareTrade and the repair service they engaged.

Allstate authorized me to take computer to local computer repair and they would refund "immediately" upon sending them the receipt. That was April 5 and this is April 26, so 21 days later and I still don't have my refund despite calling them several times. It's always the same story, I'll receive it within 5 business days and I'm still waiting.

I was approved to get a new phone with few questions. Then the phone arrived quickly. It even included a tool so I could remove my SD card and put it in the new phone. Only drawback was I had the older 2022 version which had the camera in a different spot so my case doesn't work. Small price to pay for a new phone at no cost for it and free shipping each way.

A week after approving my claims & telling me to dispose of the items as I see fit, regarding two electric blankets that don't heat anymore, they cancelled the gift cards they had ALREADY issued & insisted I take pictures of the items. The Samsonite rolling bag I purchased in August 2021 was going to be my daily work bag. I travel to people's homes to provide occupational therapy services for children. I used this bag every work day to carry files and toys. I did purchase the extended warranty when I bought the bag. In April 2023 the zipper began to fail on the main compartment. I was worried that I would lose my trusted companion on my home visits and then recalled having the extended warranty. I contacted Allstate Protection Plans on Monday morning and by Wednesday had confirmation that I would be refunded the purchase price. I will be able to get a replacement bag and continue on my daily visits with children in confidence.

Rocor tv stopped working, Allstate handled the claim with professional results, they sent a check that made it possible to replace it...I was very satisfied with the results...The telephone operator who took the claim, was very good...I would use Allstate again, and I would recommend them to others.

My computer broke down, and I thought now it's just trash. I filed a claim to Allstate. It was fairly straightforward. The lady did the diagnostic on my computer with my assistance, and she made the determination that the hard disk was corrupted. She asked me to repeat the serial number, and we went through and wrote down the serial number. She issued a sticker. It prints out with shipping information. So, I boxed it up and taped the label and I sent it back. Within a week, they said, “Your computer has been repaired and they are sending it back to you.” So, it was relatively pain-free. I didn't expect it to be under warranty, but apparently, it was warranted for one year.
Allstate loaded the new operating system on the computer with only the updates. So when I received it, I did not need to do any update which is a pain. They replaced the hard drive. They did not promise that they were going to retain the hard drive or transfer the data. I knew that, so that was not a problem. They replaced a hard drive, reloaded the operating system, and it seems to be fine since then.

Check was lost when depositing at bank window and after informing Allstate my issue they quickly resolved the problem by re-issuing a new check. I have not received it yet but it should arrive any day now. They have kept in touch with me via E-Mail and were very helpful! Customer service is outstanding and would definitely use them again for future insurance needs.

I had an issue with a 65" Vizio television where after a couple of years, I started seeing this burnished image of what almost looked like a waffle, but just a part of it had lines going diagonally and some lines going horizontally. You can see it the clearest on a screen that was a lighter background, but it forever stayed there even if the screen was not lit. So, I filed my claim to Allstate. I gave them a short description and several different picture angles of the screen. After I submitted something that was clear enough for them to see what I was talking about, they didn't even bother going any further, they just reimbursed me for the cost of the unit because of the fact that it was up under a certain amount. Everybody that I spoke to, even in email correspondence, was very professional and done properly.

Claim process was rather redundant. First I filled out the form on the website describing the issue and all of the specifics of the item. Then the website directed me to call. So I called and was asked to restate everything the website asked for. I was told to send the item in for repair and it was fixed and returned to me a week later.

I started a claim for a television that went out. The reps with Allstate told me to start at the manufacturer since it had not been a year. I did so. They could not help me. So I have had about 10 phone calls between Phillips and the warranty plan and nobody seems to want to help or provide support. I purchased the plan with the idea that IF I needed to buy a new television timely if something happened I would have protection neccesary. I likely wouldn't purchase a warranty through Allstate/Square again. It's been a nightmare.

My electric scooter started failing and need to contact the manufacturer company... Besides all time I spent trying to fix this issue with the manufacturer...like new parts I needed to changed and time I have to wait for the answers etc, but at the end, the e-scooter still not working and the manufacturer company wouldn't do anything else to help me. At the beginning, I was a little skeptical if they would help me or make me wait even more time but I was totally wrong... because as soon as someone answered me the phone...it makes me feel like I was in control of the things I wanted to be helped... I recently filed a claim to Allstate for two bicycles, but they only gave me money for one of the bikes. One of them stopped working. The other one had something with the brakes. They're identical bikes because they’re for identical twins. It stopped working not too long after I bought them, but they didn't let me know. I just asked my granddaughters, “How come you guys don’t ride your bikes?” They said they don’t work, so I checked it out. I said, “Well, you guys should have told me because I took out an extended warranty.” When I went in and looked at it, I said, “Oh, the warranty is still good.”
Allstate must have thought it was one bike. They gave me a partial refund on one bike. For the other one, I tried to get in touch with someone at Allstate to let them know, but to no avail, so I just gave up. I’m too old to go through all that. First I did the one, and then after they said they were gonna send me the card through my email, then I went back in to do the other one. I noticed both of them had the same warranty numbers on them. They could see there are two bikes but they had the same numbers on both bikes. The number that I had to use for the claim.
As far as the claim process, I had to fill out a form online just saying what was wrong with them, but they didn't ask me for a lot of information. It took a while, though, for them to okay the refund because they couldn't find the bikes in there. I have a lot of items. Then when they found it, it was easygoing. When I was filling out the paperwork, they sent me the numbers that I needed to put into the paperwork. So, that was cool, but when I was putting it in, I didn't know they were the same number until I went to do the second bike, because I kept trying to do the second bike, and they kept telling me it was solved. It only took 10 minutes that same day after we got done for them to send me the e-card through my email. I kept trying, but without having a different number, I couldn't get anywhere.

All-State caught hold of my situation right away and refunded my money right away, the only logical action. When I bought the chair several months ago it was delivered broken. Over a number of calls Angi determined they just couldn't fix it and stopped working with me. From time to time I was contacted by someone somewhere and when I explained the situation they would drop me, too. Took over 2 weeks to process this claim. Made multiple phone calls to resolve the issue. Customer service reps were located outside of the United States and that resulted in language barrier problems. Several times, when a rep would transfer me to another department, I ended up back in the main queue or disconnected. All in all, this was a terrible experience.

My experience was excellent. I hadn’t had my Fitbit long and all of a sudden it quit charging. Many others experienced the same thing. Since I had purchased the protection plan I just had to pay $15 for a new Fitbit. I’m hoping it doesn’t have the same issue as before. But for now I am a happy camper!

I filed a claim and was told that they would waive my deductible. When I turned in the receipt, they took the deductible out of the reimbursed amount. Then they told me that the insurance would be canceled moving forward because the repair amount was high. I emailed them and have not received a response. I have had wonderful experiences with this company over the years but this time, they missed the mark.

Could not find a repair shop anywhere near me to repair it. Was given the purchase amount in the form of a check sent to my address to replace it. Having a protection plan is very valuable when it comes to electronics. I bought it on my washer because the previous one died on me less than two years of owning it. Luckily, I had the protection on that. I got the plan for the next one as well. The claims process went really smooth. Allstate ended up sending me a check, and since it was such a large item, they just said, "Get rid of it." I'd give Allstate the highest rating.

At first I was a little disappointed because I had to keep calling to get results. My claim started 6-20-22 with the matter not resolve and 6-28-22 sent in pictures. Id **. I was then told by the Allstate TV team to talk with the tech support. Still the matter was not resolve and on 7-7-2022 id ** I was told to take a full screen photo with the TV menu displaying also close-up of the issue. This situation still was not resolve until my last call in Feb 2023 and the matter was resolve. This should not taken so long. Very disappointed.

I filed my claim through the Allstate Squaretrade website March 17th for my microwave. I had the 3 year protection plan. The microwave is smoking and popping. The claim was accepted and I chose the gift card reimbursement because it said I would receive the refund within one day. Received an email saying I would receive the email within one day. Never received a gift card. 6 calls later it is currently April 9th still no gift card. So much for getting a replacement microwave within a few days. It's been weeks. Still getting a runaround on the phone, no solution has been made and no gift card. They refuse to send a check in the mail or reimburse my original payment method. I need to receive a call from Allstate and not square trade and I need a check in the mail. Emails read, "Hello Chelsea, Your gift card has been processed and will be emailed to you within 1 business day to email address: **. Sincerely, The Allstate Protection Plans Team".

Don't buy this Allstate Square Trade Warranty. It is a scam. When I made a claim, it took multiple times contacting them to get a check. I wanted the item replaced which cost 32.99 now, but instead they sent me a check for 23.99 which was the cost 3 years ago. It was such a pain I just deposited the check and it bounced. I incurred a $12 fee. Horrible warranty.

I reported I had two issues with my TV. One being the sound issue with the Netflix app, and then I also had issues with the internet connectivity. It would randomly disconnect. The Allstate Protection agent gave me the phone number to Netflix and then I was on the phone with someone with Netflix for about an hour, and we were going through troubleshooting steps. In the middle of going through the troubleshooting steps for trying to get the sound to work, Netflix stopped working because of the internet disconnection.
Allstate wanted me to record something and send it to them. When I was recording, it said, “You have no internet connection. Please try again.” I went to the internet connection board, and as it was recording, it showed that the internet would disconnect and then reconnect, and then disconnect. It did it three times. So I reported that. They sent two pieces. One for the motherboard and one for the wireless situation. The repair person came, and when he changed it out, he changed out both the motherboard and then the Ethernet thing, and then he realized that the motherboard that they sent was bad. Then he had to open the TV back up, change the motherboard out, put the old motherboard back in, and he said, “Ok. Well, this thing works so I'm leaving.”
Three days later, my internet was disconnected. So I'm not too happy about that aspect. When the repair guy was here, we both had to dismount the TV. I couldn't go and I had to sit there because I needed to assist him. It's a 65-inch TV. You need two people for it. At this point in time, I've wasted about six hours on troubleshooting, and time is money. I was working that day.

I completed everything online and never had to speak with anyone. I had kept my email message with the confirmation of my warranty coverage and that made things very smooth. I complete the fields on the online form, paid the $30 fee to process the claim, and submitted the information. About a day later I received an email that my request was accepted and they were sending me a replacement. I submitted a claim for a cell phone that was run over by a car. I followed their instructions to take it to one of their authorized repair stores who comfirmed that it was not fixable (after sending my $114 deductible to Squaretrade). I submitted the forms, waited 5 days and contacted them by phone. They said I needed to take my phone to one of their repair centers. I already did that and submitted to paperwork back to them, then they said they did not show it being received. I stayed on the phone as I emailed the scanned forms to them, and the person confirmed they received them. 5 days later, still nothing, I called again, this time to be told to take the phone to UPS using a label they would email to me. 3 days later, no email form or label.
Called again, this time stayed on phone until I received the label, immediately took the phone to UPS and got a receipt with tracking number. 2 days later contacted them again, they said I would get the full cost of the phone paid via check, send to my home address. 3 WEEKS LATER, still no check, contacted them again, after being on hold for 15 minutes, was assured that the payment would be mailed in 5 to 7 days. STILL NO CHECK.

I love the Allstate/Square Trade Protection plan received with my refrigerator from Costco. I trust Costco and I trusted Square Trade because it is what Costco used. The Whirlpool refrigerator has been a big disappointment. It uses non-user replaceable LED bulbs in series. So anytime one bulb goes out, all bulbs are affected. Between the 1 year manufacturer warranty, Costco extended warranty (2nd year) and Allstate/Square Trade warranty (3 years), I have had to have a repairman come to change light bulbs 4 times in less than 4 years. I will never buy another Whirlpool refrigerator, BUT I will buy my next refrigerator from Costco and I WILL get the Allstate/SquareTrade warranty because (unlike Whirlpool) they have always delighted and never disappointed me. I am very happy with the plan.

Our 70-inch Onn TV was not turning on at all. I tried all of the recommended fixes before I called Allstate and the rep said, "I have a list of things." I said, "Let me tell you what I have done." I went through him and he said, "That's what I would have had to do. Hang on a minute." He came back and he said they'd offer a full refund. The rep was absolutely wonderful, kind and thorough. I opted for a Walmart gift card because I went right back to Walmart and got another television, just a different brand. I got the Allstate plan on it too.

It took a little extra time and some persistence on my end to get the issue resolved, but it got resolved, and I was happy with the outcome. There was one guy in particular who was really helpful. They offered to fix my phone or have me take it locally to be repaired or refund my money. It was a very expensive phone and it was doing some things that I couldn't control. Originally, Allstate was gonna replace it, then two days later, they sent me an email saying that they didn't have anything like that in stock. They got approval from somebody a little higher up and just refunded my money, and I trashed the phone. It was gonna be too much money to fix it.
The more valuable an item is, the more you need something for it. I've bought a few protection plans from Allstate in the past, including the one for my phone and another one for an engagement ring I bought two years ago for my fiancé. I just bought another phone yesterday, and I didn't get the protection plan, but I have 30 days to do it. I'm just making sure this is the phone that I want.

Buying the Allstate Warranty for my TV at Costco was a the best choice I made because of the TV came with a 1 year manufacturer warranty plus 3 year Allstate Warranty = 4 years total protection. My TV stopped working after 3 years and it was easy filing the claim and fast completing the claim to receive my reimbursement.

I've purchased six protection plans throughout my life. I always buy them. I've bought Christmas decorations with them, and all my computers or phones have had them as well, but the one that I had a claim on was for a Fitbit that I bought for my husband. On the face of his Fitbit, there are two pieces of hard plastic that you run the strap through that goes on his arm, and he broke them.
The guy I dealt with at Allstate was super nice. They sent me the thing, and I sent them the email with four sentences and a picture. They sent me an email saying it was approved, and they mailed me a check, which I got it in four days. It was easy. We had our Fitbit for 10 months and they came out with a new one that was a Charge 5. My husband wanted the Charge 5, and Allstate just paid us the money because it was $69.

I had a TCL 65-inch TV and the screen went black. I bought the same brand before and it did the exact same thing this one did. I did not have insurance then, but I got it this time. It was a bit difficult to file a claim because of the way Allstate has it set up. I filled it in with them and I had look at my emails and call them back to finish my claim. That was the only weird thing. Everything else was easy. I submitted pictures of the TV. They offered to send me a similar TV or cash, and I decided to take the cash and to switch TV brands this time, but they decided to renege on the offer. They sent me back an updated claim where they offered me two TVs and no cash, but I told them that wasn't acceptable. Eventually, they refunded me the entire purchase price of the TV. Go for Allstate Protection Plans. It's a good deal.

Having a protection plan is valuable. It helped a lot. When I had a problem with my Astro A10 headset, I went to Walmart first, then they gave me a pamphlet to call the Allstate number. I opted to have a replacement, but within seven days, they sent me a gift card with the amount on it to get the headset again. They also said to just throw the old one away.

I cannot complain at all about the response time regarding my claim. The only problem I have is that the company I had to take it to, the only one in town that works on a lawn mower, is they are running a month behind on repairs. No complaints with Allstate Warranty Protection Plans. So far, the claim has not been completed because the lawn mower has not been looked at yet.

Tablet on my son's tablet was accidentally cracked. It still worked great, but we needed the glass to be replaced. Service to get a claim and send was really quick. Was not able to replace glass, very disappointing because it was a good tablet and was still in use. I'm guessing it would have cost more to replace glass than for the buyer to just get a new one. I just bought this tablet on Christmas, so I will not be able to buy it again because it is not on sale at the time And it is not anymore. So now we are left with nothing.

SquareTrade received my phone 3/31. Today 4/4 I’m told I will be sent an email about the, “delay” in the next 24 to 48 hours. The policy states the phone will be repaired or replaced in 24 hrs. As near as I can tell the policy I’ve been paying for is false! Why? I’m betting your phone would be back/replaced within the policy, why not me?

Every time you dispense the water in the vacuum cleaner, the water would not suction out. I did the claim online and it was very easy. Allstate told us not to send the vacuum cleaner back and gave me money through a gift card. I’m very satisfied with the process. People should take the plan. It’s nice.

My iMac computer was a refurbished one and everything was working good. Then, it just stopped working. First, Allstate said that I had to go through Walmart because it was under a year. But because it was pre-owned, I didn't have to because they don't do refurbish. After that, I still went with Allstate. The rep helped me but the computer still didn’t work. So, I waited until the date and I called it in. He tried to help me and when he couldn't, he told me to send Allstate my receipt. I did and they sent me my money. I got an e-card for Walmart. The protection plan is convenient and the price is always good for the insurance. I used Allstate a long time ago and that's why I did it. My grandson's PlayStation 4 had gone out and I sent it in to them and they sent it back. My grandson is still using the PlayStation and that's been years. I’m very satisfied with Allstate. People should get the plan.

I've called Allstate a couple of times. Both experiences have been pretty good. The second time that I called because my husband had either lost or somebody stole his phone. I’m not sure which one, but I was disappointed because that coverage is not on that plan. It's basically for repairs. The agent was very apologetic for not covering lost and stolen items. She requested a refund for my warranty.
I had to call back because it was taking quite a bit of time for them to send my refund and to make sure that it had been processed. Come find out that something happened with the system. They had to do it all over again. But it only took three to five days. It was a smooth process and that agent helped me very well. What I ended up doing was canceling the protection for that particular phone because we had to go out and purchase another phone. But with my first claim, the agent was very helpful. I just sent them my receipt and they reimbursed me.

Our recliner got a really bad squeak under it and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The claim process at Allstate was very simple, easy and quick. I did everything online and someone got right with me after each time I sent pictures or inquired about anything. They sent me a gift card in the amount of the recliner to use on another recliner.

For the amount I spent on the earbuds, Allstate's plan seemed like a reasonable amount of money to add to it. The rep gave me enough detail for something to stick for me to think that it was a good plan. If it's something worth a couple hundred dollars, I would suggest it. Especially if it's something that's gonna be used on a daily basis.

The tablet's screen still worked, but it was broken. Glass, children, not a good thing. So, I sent the tablet off. I did everything online. The rep said, "If you need to utilize the plan, this is the website, and this is your product number." It was easy, and they sent me an email that had the FedEx printout. So, I took it to FedEx, and they shipped it off. I got it back within a week.
I ended up having the same tablet before when I didn't think I needed it and I had to repurchase a new one. So, the protection has already been a lifesaver because the coverage itself is only 30 bucks, but the whole tablet is over 100. So, to have to replace a whole tablet and I don't have insurance as opposed to getting the insurance and having the protection on it, it makes it much worth it. If you're gonna get furniture, get it as well. Because if you have pets, that is also a very good important protection plan to have.

Allstate paid off on the settlement that I claimed for my phone. It broke and there was no place within 100 miles that could repair it, so the agent I spoke with chose to give me my replacement price. But he did his very best to not do it. He would jump through a whole bunch of hoops and it took me a bit more than 45 minutes to get us to the point of agreeing that they'd just give me a replacement price. A few weeks later, I got the check. All in all, the protection plan was valuable enough that I've got it on my new phone. I was also glad I had the insurance, even though I didn't know I had it until after I was informed about it. I was glad that the PureTalk agent had put it on there. Otherwise, I would have been out.

I got an Allstate plan for a gold chain and a pendant. When their tech offered it to me, she didn't actually explain the contract but they had a brochure that had all the information. It covers everything except if somebody stole the items. I also used an Allstate plan before for a griddle and when I filed a claim, it was difficult because the receipt that I had was an old one. The letters have faded out and it was hard for me to tell them some of the information in there. Other than that, I had a pleasant experience with Allstate.

Seven months ago, I noticed that the iron started malfunctioning. At first, I thought the electricity in the old home that I was at that was getting it overheated. Then we moved to another house that we bought and when I used the iron again, there was still something wrong with it. It would overheat to the point that I couldn't even grab the handle. I made the claim with Allstate and I said what was going on. They were very helpful and they sent me a reimbursement to be able to purchase a new one. The claims process went very smoothly and I was very impressed. I'm in the rural area and I wasn't expecting it to be that fast. I wish other companies would work that way. At the moment, my washer's lid is rattling really ugly and it's leveled. I made a claim and it's been two months, but the techs have not come out. It's because I'm in the rural area now.

We got Allstate for a Samsung 45-inch TV. When there was no sound to it, I called Allstate, and they had me go through the different tests to make sure it was something wrong with the TV. Then they said they'd send me a new one. The first one they sent had a cracked screen. I had to call them back, and they told me to send them a picture. I did and they told me they'd replace it. The second one finally made it safely. But Allstate was a pain. They kept insinuating that there was nothing wrong with the TV and I kept telling them there was. They had me reset this and that. They tried to fix it over the phone which took three hours.

Keurig Brewer started having major problems as it would not brew a 10 oz cup unless you tried 5-6 times. Sometimes after you set it to brew it would just turn off. It had some major problems and I replaced it and found that I had the Allstate protection plan. So I filed a claim and ALLSTATE honored it and sent me a check. I also had bought a two year plan for the new brewer.

My airpods went out, and my Allstate Protection Plan was able to solve my issues. They gave me some instructions to tackle on my end. So I bought a refurbished laptop on eBay that came with a SquareTrade protection plan. Basically, I’ve been trying to get this whole thing resolved since Oct 26, 2022. During normal use, the laptop bursts into flames during normal use while surfing the internet and they keep denying me that they won't cover due to the damage under 8 (K) reference in the '"What is not covered'' section of the contract, but after talking to a few sqauretrade supervisors over the phone. Because the damage was caused by mechanical or electrical failure due to the laptop overheating, the laptop should be covered because that’s the thing that caused the fire damage and not an accident. The most helpful supervisor has been David ** who told me I should be covered for this, but the claims review department think differently. It seems like my item is supposed to be covered and, in the end, I'm being run around in circles.

I tried to cancel my policy because the item I purchased was defective. Product bought at Walmart and credit was received for the product. I paid $30 for the coverage and don't understand why I can't get that $30 refunded on a defective product.

Started on around March 22, took the Roomba to Walmart and was told I was over the 90-day return policy. Came back home and emailed Allstate and made the claim. They sent me to the manufacturer, who sent me back to Allstate who sent me back to Walmart who sent me to Allstate who wanted me to call the manufacturer again. I can't make anyone understand, I do not want this, I don't want it repaired and I don't want to fight with the darn thing any longer. I have spent hours on the phone with various departments and can't get anyone to help. I have only tried to use this thing three times, once was terrible to figure out, second time a bit better and the third time it would not even leave the base. I do NOT want it. I just want a full refund and a shipping label to return it.

My cell phone fell out of my pocket into a bucket of mop water. I immediately pulled it out, dried it off and followed the Samsung directions to dry it internally. It worked that evening and all next day. I put it on charge that next night and the next morning it was dead and never came back on. Called Allstate and they said no problem. I had a new Samsung S22 in three days. Will definitely keep Allstate Protection on my tech!

My 14-month old Canon Pixma printer suddenly began printing out everything absolutely unreadable. The Canon warranty had expired. I first performed all the self maintenance steps and nothing helped. I called Allstate/Square Trade. The tech tried a few more maintenance maneuvers with me and nothing helped. At that point, he offered a full refund for the printer! I was so relieved. One doesn't expect a 14-month old printer, and one not used every day, to quit after 14 months. I was extremely impressed with Square Trade and Allstate. I'll be sure to purchase their extended service warranty for the new printer I purchase.

Nothing accidental happened with the TV, when I called to file the claim I was told the TV has a software issue and they only cover mechanical & electrical claims. Complete scam of a protection plan! I have been going back and forth with Squaretrade for a week now. I get different information from each rep I speak to (everyone has the wrong information). I was supposed to send my product in and get a email gift card within 1-2 business days. On Monday you received the item, yet I didn’t get a gift card even after 2 business days. Yesterday I got a call saying there was a glitch in the system and I now have to fill an affidavit form, which I did fill out. Then I got an email saying it was accepted and I will get a email gift card soon. Later I got another email saying the check will be sent to my house.
I called in and each person I spoke to gave me different information - 1 person said they ran out of gift card, another person said the email was a mistake, another person said they attempted to send a gift card and it didn’t work so now they are sending to my house a check. This is very unfair. I want to receive a email gift card and it shouldn’t be this difficult to handle a customer and especially provide correct information.
