    I bought a hover on April 22 at Walmart. The game it's not working right and did a report on july 19th but only I received emails asking Mr to do test and test. I haven't received a nice answer.     The insurance plan that I purchased was reasonably priced, simple to understand, easy to purchase and register. The item I insured stopped working so I had to file a claim. The process was uncomplicated, I had to send the item to Squaretrade for repairs. I was given easy instructions to follow, printed a free return label, packaged it up and dropped it off at a local Fedex pick up location about a mile from my house. After a few days when they couldn't make the repair needed, Squaretrade refunded my original purchase price. They didn't return my item, but as I said it couldn't be fixed, so that wasn't a problem. All in all, they helped turn my lemon into lemonade.

    This was not an easy process at all. It took me numerous times speaking with a representative to get the claim resolved. I had to resubmit it twice and they said it was because of technical difficulties. On the third attempt the customer service representative said the last person had done it wrong and would try to resolve the issue. Big hassle. I have several products covered through the insurance. I hope I don’t need to submit anything else.

    I sent them a Chromebook that needed repaired or replaced. They sent me an email stating that it couldn't be repaired and they don't have a replacement, so they were to send a reimbursement via Walmart gift card within 2-3 days. It has been over a week since I received the email. I still have not received my reimbursement! I called customer service and was given run arounds and then finally told that I would receive the gift card in my e-mail by yesterday. Still nothing! I am highly unsatisfied with this company. Oh and you don't get reimbursed for the tax you pay on the item, so you essentially pay taxes twice when you replace it yourself. It seems to be a scam!

    You can only open one claim at a time. Lame since the couch I bought keeps breaking. Then the Tech comes out, looks, "yep that is broken" then you wait a month after waiting a month for the tech. Meanwhile you are sitting there with whatever is broken. I would get fired if I had this slow of a response at my job. They did final fix my couch but the other side broke and now I have to start all over, One claim at a time....

    I have always been extremely satisfied with any claim I've had to do. The representatives go above and beyond to help satisfy what the customer wants to get the issue resolved whether it be to have a Walmart gift card or check mailed to your home address. I have never had any issue filing a claim, if I have had to send an item in Allstate is very good at sending me a shipping label to be able to send the item in if needed. Which occasionally sometimes no fault of Allstate I may've misplaced the item example: broken Cellphone then it may take me a bit months to find the phone. Albeit it has only happened a couple times.

    Allstate reimbursed me the cost of the item as long as I have proof. Saved emails to show that I put in the claim before the warranty expired. I am very happy with the extended protection plans. I purchase them every time I purchase an item that gives me the option to purchase one. They are well worth the extra little bit of money to spend on an extended warranty.

    I first called your company on 7/5/23 regarding my power recliner, and was told I needed to call WayFair instead. When I called WayFair, I was told that I had to call your company back, as the manufacturer's warranty was only 30 days. To date, this has STILL not been resolved. I received numerous emails from what appeared to be different departments. At one time, I was sent an email with a picture of a technician that was supposed to come to my home. I left work at the appropriate time, and then received a FaceTime phone call instead from a very nice gentleman who had to see the recliner on FaceTime.

    A few days later, I received the parts he ordered for my chair. Another email said I could fix it or ask for a technician. Then another email stating you'd located a technician that should be contacting me in the next few days. Hopefully, I'll hear from someone today since it's been a few days. I work for a company that stresses extremely great customer service, so I would hope you can see why I am so frustrated. I certainly hope this can be resolved very soon. Thank you for your time.

    When I filed my claim, for my extremely large area rug, the process was redundant. They kept asking for the same thing over and over again AFTER telling me that my photos were received. AFTER telling me my affidavit was received. It was a horrible process. Then I was told I would hear from someone in 1-2 business days about pmnt. I waited 5 days n called back after not hearing anything. I was told to wait 1-2 more business days. I hope whatever store I purchase from in the future does not use Squaretrade. I have so many calls on my phone to the company for the same issue. It took too many calls for a resolution. I hated everything about the process. No thank you.

    The claims process has been pretty good. But there was a time that I had an issue and they gave me a little bit of a problem. I hardly ever have to use the warranties because they usually expire on most of the stuff I get before I get to use them. I got upset with Allstate for a little while because they put me through the wringer on my radio warranty. They tried to get it to go and get it done instead of it being quick and easy on me. They had me take pictures and write on a piece of paper the date and time. It was upsetting because I've got a lot on my plate. Thank God they finally worked it out. They said they had to send me a check. But I would rather get the gift card because it’s quicker. I didn't have to wait two weeks.

    When I had a claim for my TV, I also had to wait for a check on it. It took forever. It finally got here after two weeks and I was finally able to go get a new TV. I tried to call in a claim for the stereo but they told me I had to send it by email, which didn't make sense because I already started a claim through email. But overall, it’s worth getting a warranty. I'm able to get my item fixed whenever it's something that's not my fault.

    The little prongs broke off on my vacuum cleaner and Allstate told me to take it to the nearest shop to see if they could repair it. But they were unable to repair it and the guy said it would cost more money to repair it, so I might as well buy a new one. I have warranty on it, so I just filed a claim, got the money, then went and bought another one. It took a little bit for Allstate to process everything, but when it came down to getting a check, I thought it would have come within a week’s time span, but I got it within two days. I also got a check for another item that they didn't have a replacement for, so they sent me $20 and I bought a new one. Allstate is excellent. They respond fairly quickly to my emails and try to take care of me as quickly as they can.

    Submitting a claim was a poor experience. We had issues getting payment. They had a company give us an estimate for repairs before they would approve them. The company told us that the product would have to be replaced. It was a total hassle dealing with Allstate. We had numerous phone calls with them trying to get them to fix the appliance or get payment. They kept screwing it up and losing orders. They kept telling us they were sending the payment. I kept sending them documentation. It took me about three weeks of three calls a day to get the issue resolved. When they finally got it taken care of, one of the checks was in the wrong amount. They sent me two of the same check twice. They just told me to keep the difference because it was such a hassle.

    I buy with them every time I buy something. They've always taken really good care of me. Plus, it's not a hassle to file a claim if I need to. Recently, I had three claims. All of the screens of my kids' tablets were shattered and the charging ports went out. I did two of the claims online and then one of them had said that it was still under the manufacturer's warranty, which would have been through Walmart. So I went through them.     I've purchased Allstate's plans every time I purchased electronics, and normally, the claims process is okay, but now that they've outsourced everything to another country, they don't even understand me. I did a claim for a television, and it was trifling, horrible and took forever. First time, I went online to create the claim, then it sent me an email and said I had to call to do the claim. I called and got hung up on for about four times. I sent a message again through the email and got a response to call again. I called again, then they made me go through trying to turn the TV on four different times. The TV wouldn't turn on, so they said, "Well, unplug it." I did that with four different people. They can't troubleshoot a TV that won't come on.

    It was back and forth, then Allstate denied the claim. I called back again and asked to speak to a supervisor, but I got hung up on. I called back the next day. It took about a couple of weeks to get this done 'cause I was frustrated from calling. Finally, I got a supervisor on the phone who approved the claim, then they sent me a new TV. This was the worst experience. Allstate should stop being so damn cheap and pay somebody that speaks the native language.

    Squaretrade/Allstate is horrible. Yes, they can be good most of the time, however, sometimes they are just so dysfunctional it should be illegal what they do. I had to call in 5 times to get them to get me a refund check on an warranty I canceled after returning the item to Walmart. Each time they said..."Sorry" and the check would be processed and mailed out. Each time it was not. Each time the supervisor said, "It would be taken care of this time." Each time it was not. The company is sitting on millions of dollars from customers who never get their checks from refunds or paid out claims. They know this...and they don't care, because they get to keep that money. This should be illegal what they do...but they don't care and neither does the government.

    One morning, the iPad wouldn't turn on. It was a two-week process to get somebody to explain what they wanted. They needed a serial number which I could get if I open the iPad. They kept passing me off between SquareTrade and Allstate. I finally got a hold of a young lady named Cheryl and she was wonderful. She cancelled everything that had been happening, restarted the claim and put it all the way through. Cheryl was marvelous but this was the worst experience I've ever had.

    The next day, I had what I had to have to send the iPad in. Two or three days ago, they received the iPad and they sent me a link so I could turn the Find My iPad thing off. They sent me a text saying they received my response, but I haven't heard anything since.

    I was very pleased with the way Allstate handled my claim. They had to look for my information to find it so it took them a little while.     Purchasing the Allstate protection plan was straightforward. The rep explained quickly what it will cover and that it will be easy to get solved if something happens to the device in case I want to get the insurance. The controller stopped working so I had to contact Allstate to activate it. The rep explained that I had to scan a code and it would take me to a website where I have to file the claim, put all the information and then go through that. But I felt more comfortable talking to a human that could explain better because I didn't think I was gonna use it until maybe longer than I expected. I only had the device for three months and it caught me surprised. But I had access to the website and from there, it was easy, helpful and fast.

    Allstate ended up giving me a credit. But we're still working through that because the amount was not what I paid. They asked me for the receipt, which I don't have. They said that I have to get a new one with the credit that they gave me and when I find the difference, I have to contact them again to finalize it. I felt comfortable when they said that. I haven't found out how easy it's gonna be for them to complete that promise but I'm in the middle of it and it looks promising.

    I got all of my papers when I purchased the printer and I went online and submitted the claim to Allstate. After about a couple of weeks, there was no response. So, I called them and they had to put it through a review again. I waited a while and then, I called them back. I finally got ahold of a guy that was responsive to me and I told him my problem. I had to get a review again and I thought I had already been reviewed. It seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. But Allstate responded and gave me the original price of that printer that would not print in a Walmart gift card. So that’s resolved. But I'm very dissatisfied with the way that Allstate handled it. Even though we pay them upfront in good faith, they're making the customer work extra hard to get a warranty out of them. But I'm very happy with the Epson EcoTank printer. It’s excellent so I bought another one from Walmart. And I bought the same warranty.

    Their customer service is abhorrent. I was asked to submit pictures of my appliance numerous times, to which I complied. I then receive emails asking me to call them and they request the same pictures all over again. It is going on 1 1/2 months of trying to get issue resolved with my LG refrigerator ice maker. This plan and their customer service is not worth the price. With all my time spent on the phone with them, I could have just called my own repair man and saved money and time. I DO NOT recommend that anyone sign up for this protection plan. The runaround they give you is absolutely not worth it.

    I filed my claim and was sent a list of 3 TVs to replace the defective TV I purchased with this insurance. After a lot of research on the 3 TVs I picked a TV from the list and got an email confirmation that it would be here in 7-10 days. All emails state once I confirmed the TV we can't change it. The next day I purchased a new TV stand for $899 and hired a company to recycle my defective tv and stand.

    After purchasing a TV stand, I get home and get some help setting it up. That evening I got an email stating that my TV is not on the way and they found another TV that was not on the list of 3 TVs on my original list. I've got confirmation on my choice. I've got confirmation it would be here in 7-10 days. 2 days later they tell me I have to take another TV. This is the definition of a bait and switch scam. This is a very poorly ran company that seems to be from overseas. Not in America. It's been very hard to communicate. They are not sending the TV I picked and lied about it being on the way.

    I filed a claim with Allstate for a Ninja coffee maker. Initially, there was a little bit of confusion. I bought it at Walmart. You scan your receipt to the app and it keeps track of any protection plans you get. When I went to file the claim with Allstate, they said that they didn't have any record of me making that purchase. I had to go through the website to file a claim and have them look it up. I had marked on there that I had the receipt, so they asked me to send them a copy of it. I was able to send them a copy of the receipt from their Walmart app. Once they got that, they responded and said that they would give me a refund for the product.     I've used Allstate forever. My boys, when they first got their phones, they dropped them in the toilet and I just filed a claim, sent it in, sent it to UPS, scanned the label, and I had an email. I don't know if there's a way to do it, but it would be nice for the receipt to go from the Walmart app to the protection plan so I don't have to screenshot the receipt and then text it and go through all of that.     Worst company I ever seen in my entire life. I paid for extra warranty with this company for my big screen TV - 2 years later I had a problem with the big screen tv so I called. I filed a claim for the TV to be fixed. They keep asking me for the receipts and paperwork over and over and over for 93 days. They closed my claim twice online. Every time I called they apologize and same thing happen again, and again, and again. Very dishonest people very unprofessional.

    Then finally was threatening the company to take company to the court. Finally nice person has some knowledge about the claim. He explain to me that I have a premium warranty with the Samsung manufacturing company so they took my money and they know I have a premium warranty. Bought it so my advice to everybody when you’re buy electronic online or in the stores make sure you are not buy extra warranty with this, companies, especially Allstate protection. I probably told my stories about to 700 people and I have a retail shop. I will make sure tell everybody I know not to buy warranty from this company. Today is July 2nd my claim was filed on March 15. I did not get my TV fixed yet. I’m still waiting.

    My experience with Allstate didn't go so well. The machine burnt out so I called in and made a claim. They told me I could either send it back in or I could take it to a shop and have it repaired. I took it to Best Buy. Best Buy told me that the machine wasn't good, for me to get my money back if I could. From day one, Allstate told me I was approved to get a refund. Then they told me I needed to send them the machine back. When I sent them the machine back, they told me they were gonna take it to the repair shop. They didn't repair my machine, and they told me they were going to refund my money. I went and bought another machine. I thought they were sending me money so I could cover my Best Buy bill. But they just sent me a whole new machine. Now I'm stuck with two machines and I still got my Best Buy bill that is not paid. I still haven't got any response back from anyone about this situation.

    I got different things with Allstate such as a lawn mower, a shredder, a spa, etc. and it's been excellent whenever I've had to file a claim. It's always been smooth, easy, and quick. I had to talk to a rep once because they couldn't find something but otherwise, I've done it online and it's a simple process. Last month was a coffee maker I had bought from Walmart. They sent me a check. They said a week to 10 days but I got it two days later.

    I'm highly satisfied. Generally, they'll recommend you don't take out extended warranties for different things that you buy at the store. A lot of them give this great big warranty then the fine print says, "We'll pay for the postage to send it back to you, but you've gotta pay to send it back to us," which makes it not worth it, especially what it cost to send anything these days. But it's never been that way with Allstate. It's worth it. It's always been no deductible and no returning. If they do, they pay return shipping. One was my phone. They sent the new phone out first then the thing to send my old phone back in.

    Brought a I Robot Roomba and got the Allstate protection plan. Within weeks of getting this unit it started to make very loud grinding noises. Filed a claim thru their site and after setting all the required info it indicated that I was not covered. I started to send emails to their contact info and finally after several days, I got someone who indicated that she was going to get approval for shipping but that it could take many weeks before I would get unit back. So I was told that they would send me a shipping label. Well weeks later and still waiting for a shipping label! Oh and they do not provide an address at all. Complete waste of money, time and aggravation!

    While your Reps were amazing, the service I paid extra for is horrible. You did not honor replacement warranty. What is the point of warranty if you leave it up to the customer to locate a repair facility (there is none in our area) and handle everything themselves, then you will reimburse us. We find a repairperson to give an estimate but you don't supply parts or part numbers for them work with. This item quit working from an issue you apparently are aware of. So here I have a $700 broken icemaker that I cannot get a repairperson to fix because you give no part number for them to work with. ABSOLUTE TRASH.

    I purchased an extended TV warranty through the Allstate protection plan. After a lengthy process, they sent a repair kit and TV repair man first, he deemed the TV unfixable, I waited 3 days for Allstate to contact me, then called them as I was growing impatient. After many back-and-forth phone calls, they offered to send me a television that was not as good as the television I recently purchased and cost $200 less than the TV I had bought 2 years ago. I refused their solution, and after a few more phone calls, they finally upheld their end of the deal and gave me a full refund for the purchase price of the television.

    Ultimately, I am happy that I purchased the plan as I now have a television that I am happy with. I would recommend the plan, but suggest that you don't settle for their initial offer if it is not the same quality of product you are needing replaced. You should also know that it took me a month of phone calls to get the matter settled, but everyone I spoke with were kind and did their best to help move the process along.

    I requested a replacement phone from Allstate protection and was given the run around at first... The rep tried to tell me to take my phone that was having problems to their shop and have it fix plus for me to pay for it getting fixed and send them the receipt for reimbursement instead of just replacing it (which I pay monthly for the insurance) and YOU fix the old one and resell it as reconditioned... Eventually after a long wait, the rep said his supervisor Ok'd sending me a replacement phone... They are always trying to take the easiest route for them .. why have me take the phone to get fixed just maybe 6 months later to be calling you for the same problem again or worse...

    The most disorganized, unfamiliar, unhelpful insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. And I’ve been dealing with them for over 40 years. This company, approved, repair or replacement of an item that was damaged, then another supervisor came through and undid the approval. Another came through, understood what happened, approved replacement or repair then another supervisor came through and disallowed the repair or replacement. I provided evidence of a non-cosmetic electrical issue that caused the damage to a television set. The company also lying to me about comments made by the repair tech in order to not approve the repair replacement. After 2 1/2 months and 17 conversations, I have reported them to the state insurance commissioner’s office in my state and I’m now providing this review per their request.

    I purchased a tablet for my son on September of 2022. He cracked the screen by accident, and I filed a claim. The card I used to buy the tablet and the protection plan is not linked to my Walmart account. However, the protection plan for the tablet is on my Walmart account, but not the receipt. If under my Protection Plans, I have that specific device why do I need a receipt to file the claim? Obviously, I added the plan to my account and the plan is also showing on my Allstate Protection Plan list under the Current Plans! I paid for the insurance plan, and without a receipt I can't file a claim!? What a joke?! Do you think people are paying and adding plans on their accounts for fun? What a messy way to do business!?

    On June 6 I called to place a claim about a noisy (screeching) refrigerator. She told me that a technician would be there on June 12. On June 11. I received an email saying the technician would not be here until June 15 (today). My husband and I just got off the phone with Tiger Mechanical saying that they will be at our home on June 28. Also they said they didn’t get the request for repair until today. I have rearranged my schedule twice and now I have to do it again.     My initial correspondence to start my claim was quick and efficient. Came to the conclusion that the tv would be replaced and the call ended and my CC was charged for the deductible. After not hearing anything or having an email confirmation I called back 6 days later only to find out that after the initial call the agent did not send the follow up email stating my claim status and confirming that the replacement tv was acceptable. If I would not have called back I would still just be waiting and stuck in the process.     The person that I spoke to was professional and graceful but my experience was terrible. It was a waste of my time. My laptop was malfunctioning. I ran diagnostics, which I understand they wanna run diagnostics to make sure it becomes cost-effective. I fully appreciate that. What happened though was it came back as a software error. I have to go find another laptop to go to a website and download a potential fix, which I still haven't done, to see if I could get my laptop fixed instead of sending it to them for analysis. It's like having health insurance and you go to the hospital and they say, “Go home. We're gonna have you take out your own appendix. If you can make it through that, we'll know that was the solution.” I bought all my laptops through Costco. I'd used Allstate's service. The other ones were reasonable.     One of the buttons on the Xbox controller went out on it seven months after I bought it. So, the manufacturer warranty was expired. I went online and I tried to submit my claim with Allstate. They said, "Your device is still covered by the manufacturer." So, I went to Microsoft and I spent a couple of hours trying to get somebody on the phone there, and they said, "You're beyond your manufacturer's warranty." I had to go back to Allstate and the lady I spoke with understood the situation but it took forever. I don't mind things taking forever if the resolution is cheap.     Three weeks ago I made a call Allstate to make a claim and my experience was good with the process. I had delays on the videos. Sometimes, you could see the image stopping for three or four seconds, and then freezing for five or six minutes. I had to go back to the menu and reinitiate the application that I was running, either in Netflix, Apple TV, or YouTube TV. It was happening in all the applications. After I made a claim, I left the location for about a week. I'm back in the house as of last week, and I'm still seeing some issues. It's less after the help that I got from the technical support. But it's still a little bit lagging.

    The guy told me that whenever I had it happen again, to send a video. I have a couple of videos taken but I haven't been able to upload them because I haven't had the time. The customer service reps were very good. They were very speedy in the process, and very clever on the instructions. It was kind of lengthy instructions for a do-it-yourself. I do work myself with help desk as well. But it was good.

I did the claim, then I called the next day because when I filed, they claimed it was towards the end of the day and it needed someone to send it through.     I have an outdoor swing. I filed a claim but their website had issues. It hung up and the claim wouldn't go through.     We've been using Allstate since 2010 and we have had good experiences up until this one. We got it for a Pixel 5 phone. The phone broke. My daughter is a college student. She's away at school. She got a bright green vertical line down the front of the phone. She had taken it to a uBreakiFix there to see what was going on. They told her that it was not repairable. We said, “We have insurance, so we'll go through there.” We contacted Allstate. Finally, they got us to go to a repair place that was never open when they were supposed to be open. After three days of driving half an hour to this place, he told us that it was not repairable, which we already knew and had already communicated. He did nothing on his end.

    I had to talk to three people on Allstate's end to get them to authorize a new phone without getting information from them. The whole thing was super frustrating and took way longer than it should have. I started an online thing because it was frustrating to call because it took forever. Four different people before I got the right one. Also, every time I'd start an online chat, they'd say, “We can't assist you with that online. You have to call this number. Press this number.” But it never went where it was supposed to. It was really the most frustrating experience ever. I am definitely planning to cancel all the rest of my policies with Allstate.

    I received no solution to my concern from Square Trade (services Allstate Protection Plans for Costco). Since I first filed my claim I have not received a solution. I originally purchased my iPhone 13 Pro from Costco with an Allstate Protection plan (Square Trade). I believed this would be a great option since it was through Costco. Little did I know this was not like the insurance I usually get where my phone is REPLACED not repaired. The first thing I experienced was the website to start my claim had a glitch that created an error that did not allow me to input my address so I would have to reach out to customer service.

    30 minutes later I was able to select a place, A to Z Wireless (1 hour drive away), which ended up telling me once I arrived their shop would close permanently at that location located in San Diego, CA. Waste of day and gas. I reached out again after days of now being without a working device to change the repair location. I was then told by Shah at Square Trade (Allstate insurance) that I had to go to a Best Buy to repair but she could not confirm my device would be repaired and didn't have an address where I can take it. My wife with 3 kids and busy work schedule IS STILL WITHOUT a phone and basically I have to drive around, find a repair shop that will, according to Shah "need to itemize my repair" in order for me to be reimbursed the repair plus a deductible on top of the plan I pre-purchased at Costco.

    This is the WORST service for any device I have ever had. I would not take away time from my family to address this complaint/feedback if it wasn't this bad. Costco, Allstate, Square Trade, BBB please take notice, facilitate, prioritize or contact the required individuals to send me a replacement device ASAP. I am not driving around aimlessly to once again get turned away. I have my proof of purchase, receipt, box, device, and anything you need for reference. I've done my part and more than I should as a consumer who paid a premium.

    I've got a plan for a Nintendo Switch. I'm still having trouble trying to get it fixed. I called Allstate and they said, "Well, it's still under factory." I called the factory and they wanted me to give them a debit card. But I have an Allstate Plan. I can't get into the claim service at Nintendo. So I called Allstate back. I've had zero to no help.     I bought Allstate Protection Plans through Sam's on a microwave I bought. You want additional protection. I've used this service one time on a chair that I bought through Mayfair as it was defective. The stitching came undone and they said they didn't have anybody to fix it. I had to send some pictures of the defect and a week or two later, I got a check in the mail. They gave me a cashback for the initial purchase price. It covered the initial price of the chair but it didn't cover the sales tax or the cost of the warranty. The warranty was $54 or something like that. It was a three-year warranty.

    As far as electronics goes, I bought the plan now on maybe three different things. With the way electronics are today, they're no longer last. The protection plan is worth buying. Most of those warranties may have expired without ever being used. You better be safe than sorry considering how things are made in China. All in all, I've recommended Allstate Protection Plans to several people. I had great experience with them.

    I purchased a 3 year protection plan for $30, and my product stopped working within a week. I was told to file a claim with the manufacturer, who did not respond. Allstate told me they would reimburse the cost of the product for me to purchase a new machine. Fine. However, upon deeper inquiry, my new machine would not be covered by the warranty. I would need to purchase a new plan. So on top of losing any applied discounts, I now have to pay an additional $30 for a new protection plan. I've never heard of such ridiculousness! Never again!

    Purchased a Hisense and the Allstate Protection Plan from Walmart and experienced several occasions where the Wi-Fi would drop and not reconnect unless I reset the tv. Filed claim and was connected with a Hisense rep that had me go through my cell hotspot to update the tv settings. Took quite a while, but when it finished and I tried to connect to Wi-Fi, same error popped up. They insisted they would call back, but didn’t. I logged back into my Allstate account again and noticed they closed my claim, so I opened another and was instructed to call again.

    Upon explaining the issue, I was told my plan did not cover “software issues”. WHAT??? They told me my only option is to refund me the price I paid for the plan, which is $26. Guess that’s better for them than having to pay to have my tv repaired or replaced. By the way, could not find anywhere on their site that “software issues” are not covered. People tell me that service plans are great until you have to use them. Guess I should have listened to them…

    Don’t waste your money and time! I had an issue and called and was told to put in claim online. Well online gave me error codes. I called 5 times and the non English speaking representatives are clueless!!! It’s supposed to be an easy process but took me over a week to get claim processed. After that, I finally received the claim payment in the WRONG NAME!!! Unbelievable!

    Bought glasses at Sam's Club in Abilene, Texas on 4-29-22 with Allstate warranty. On 3-28-23 nose pads were loose and fell off my wife - she stepped on them breaking right lens and frame. Took to Sam's - said broken beyond repair and to contact Allstate. On 4-3-23 @ 2:51 pm filed claim on-line with Allstate. Said claim accepted and Claim #** was assigned. I chose a Sam's Club Gift card for reimbursement so we could replace glasses.

    Email said card would be mailed an to allow 1-2 business days to process. I was also required at this time to pay a deductible of $25 by credit card which was also received and verified by email. One week passed - no card or any contact from Allstate. 4-14-23 tried to contact Allstate but would not allow me other than say "claim in Process"! Contact on 5-3-23 "claim in Process"! Contact on 5-5-23 "claim in Process"! Numerous E-mails sent begging for response since my wife depends on glasses to drive/everyday activities. As of today (5-8-2023) NOTHING from Allstate on claim ** started on 4-3-2023. No response!

    We bought a laptop in November of ‘21 and it stopped working one night. I did not know that we bought a warranty but as I was going through some things, I found it. I called Allstate and it was a great experience. I went online and told everything. Initially, some man that is in the organization with my husband said, “I'll take it home and I'll fix it.” We couldn't even get the screen. The screen looked like it had been broken even though it was never dropped. It was a very weird screen.

    In the end, we sent it to Allstate and I thought they would send us a new one or money. But they said they would be returning our computer instead. We got it last week and it's working. My husband is already using it because he likes it better than the one that he had just bought. I would recommend Allstate wholeheartedly. This made me aware that it is good to have a protection plan on things. When you go into Walmart or Best Buy, they’ll say, “You want the warranty?” Generally, I say, “No.” But if it's within reason, I need to do it. For a $100 item, the warranty may be worth it.

    I have multiple items covered with Allstate such as controllers and refrigerators from Walmart. It's convenient. We recently did a claim for a steamer. My wife just started using it, but it wouldn’t power on. Every time I would send a claim, they would do it right off the bat. But this time, they asked me a lot of forms. I sent it, but they never got back to me. I had to fill out the form again, send it back, but it was the same thing. Finally, it went through. The product was $59, and they sent me a check for $50.
