Our microwave broke and we submitted a claim with our warranty and it was extremely easy and handled immediately, in less than 2 weeks we were reimbursed the purchase price. Couldn’t be happier with the process and the speed of the entire process! Very glad we paid for the warranty plan from Walmart and Allstate.

Allstate was swift with response on my claim and making a decision on how they were going to handle it. They supplied a return label and shipping info and I got it out to FedEx immediately. It has now been 8 working days and I haven't heard anything about my claim. I would have thought it would have been received by now, as I was to be notified when it was received. I will give it a few more days then get ahold of Allstate.

I have a robot vacuum. I heard people are having problems here and there. I purchased a protection plan from Allstate when I purchased the item. I made a claim when the item wouldn't charge at all. The claims process was bumpy. They said, "What do you wanna do?" "I'd like you to replace it." They sent an email and looking and checking my email, they said they're not gonna replace it, they're gonna send me a gift card. So, I said, "Okay. Why did you ask me?" They said, "Oh, they couldn't find one that to replace." It's a robot vacuum. They can. There are tons.
I wanted them to replace it because I felt like it was advantageous to me. I bought the insurance and the prices on everything have gone up. So, I wanted them to replace it instead of just giving me a gift certificate and have me have to go out and shop for it. They sent me an E-card and I still don't have a vacuum. I'm busy. Now, I gotta go shop for a vacuum. So, it's not really over. Everybody was fine. It's just the policy. I asked to talk to a manager, and he said, "We don't replace vacuums. We don't. I don't understand why they have an email going to you asking you what you would like done because we don't do that ever. Never." He's a nice enough person. I don't think that he was lying to me. It was a system glitch.

I bought a carport in 2021, didn't set it up until August 2022. After a year it started coming apart at the seams, and tearing. I filed a claim. Everything went good except trying to file online. I ended up calling customer service to finally finish the claim. Other than the online experience, it was good.

I gave wine cooler as a gift. Within 6 months it stopped working. A claim was filed. We quickly received a reimbursement check in the amount we paid. Customer service representative was courteous and answered all questions. I was surprised how quickly the issue was resolved. I would recommend this protection insurance to others.

I have used your service a few times and I have more than one item under your insurance. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service provided. Just my computer alone has saved me more than once. My thumbprint ID went out, then I dropped a full bottle of water on the computer and the screen was toast. Both times the turn around time was excellent, even though the first time they had a back-ordered part. Great job, Allstate Square Trade!

The item I bought was making so much noise. During the claims process, they told me what to do and gave me an idea of what the issue was. I did it and it worked. The warranty has been working for me so far.

The claim process is simple and quick. In less than 24 hours I had my e-gift and went to Sam's to order my new glasses. I would recommend Allstate insurance for glasses to my family and friends. I found out on most of my products I never have to use Allstate Protection Plans 90% of the time because the products are good. I purchased it on certain things that go outside like game cameras and things that take a rougher environment. The two times I used them, they were good. But they need to have some way to connect them with the product I purchased them with. When I buy a plan, they don't put on the plan what item is on it. I have to tag everything together and that's the drawback of Allstate. Even when I buy it from the store, if I don't staple for it all together or write everything on the pamphlet and put the receipt together, I'm screwed. It's a big process. And I gotta put it all in my file cabinet. It's awful.
I found that if I don't do it right then and there and correctly, I would not know what product it goes with. And when I'm shopping on Amazon and I may purchase three or four of them together, how could I tell which one went where? It shows the amount of money that it goes between the spread of amount of money that I purchased it. But it doesn't make sense. It's awful and it's frustrating sometimes. So, I couldn't print all this stuff out and put it on my printer and be able to go back to it easily and find out what goes where. I've done it for a while and I figured it out, but I would staple it all together and put it in my file cabinet with my paperwork for my item with Allstate. There was no secret number that went with what I bought with it in the early days.
The last thing I did was I had to return a printer. I called Allstate and told them about the issue I had. They sent me a voucher through my email to get another printer and told me to do whatever I wanted to with the printer I had. They didn't want me to send the thing back to them. Cost them too much money. I had to come out of pocket just a bit, but not much.

Most of the time, Allstate is worth getting. I've filed claims a few times and it's been fairly easy. But you have to follow the procedures by the tee and if not, it takes a little longer.

At first, I wasn't getting a protection plan, but I was noticing that all of the things that I bought are not through Walmart and they don't always work. I spent over $300 on a motorized little car and they said to charge the car and I did. After my son rode for an hour, the car would never charge again. I bought a battery and I spent close to $400 on this car. Since then, even if it's a $12 toy, if it says $2 insurance, I buy it.
I had a claim with Allstate for a scooter that I purchased. First, they got my demographic information and then they tried to find a repair shop in my area. It was all in one day. It didn't take that long when they got back to me. They contacted the repair shop and the repair shop was saying that it would cost more to repair the scooter than what it was worth so they just refunded my money. It made me feel like I need to insure all these crappy little toys. The only thing was there was no way to speak to a live agent. It's always a chat. But they should give you both options. Other than that, it's great to get those insurance plans on those toys.

A leaf blower I had been using just a week before refused to start again. I removed the carb. and cleaned with Carb Cleaner, filled with a fresh gas/oil mixture of fuel, installed a new spark plug (and determined there was spark present). I notified the Allstate Warranty folks and they immediately offered me a choice of settlements. I chose one and they carried through from their end very quickly.... very happy with their response and service.

I reported it to ** as I had purchased the protection plan thru AllState. When I talked to AllState, they immediately responded on how to proceed, including what to do with the old phone, and provided a mailing label to return it. The people I talked with were very polite, courteous and made every effort to ensure I knew how to proceed. It was a pleasure dealing with a company that takes the time to make a customer feel important.

My husband & I will never purchase anything without a protection plan, that is in our age (we are an elderly couple) our peace of mind we need. We are thankful that Allstate gives us that option. We do understand that insurance companies, etc... need to find out if a claim is rightfully, unfortunately these days are a lot of people not honest anymore. We tried to keep up with all the rules & regulations, which in our age was a little hard sometimes, but understandable. At the end we were never left alone through the whole process & had great help, understanding & friendly staff from your side & we are very grateful & customers for life. I got a protection plan from Allstate Protection for an awning. I got it online and there was a follow-up email when I applied for it, and then there was a notation on my account for their item. I filed a claim and they only make you do it online and it was cumbersome to do such. They did take care of it. It took several telephone calls and emails, but there seems to be this hesitancy to talk to people live on the front end. So, they keep trying to send you through a web portal that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I found that to be frustrating. The insurance seemed a little expensive, but it worked out. I was successful in my venture of replacement. It did take some time, but it was replaced with a dollar amount where I could buy another one. It was interesting that they wouldn't just send me the exact item. They gave me money to buy my own, but it was just an extra step.

We needed to have our TV replaced because it broke and Allstate insisted that I needed to take it somewhere to get the TV repaired. We live remotely and the closest place was over an hour away. And in the beginning, they pretty much refused to allow me any other options telling me that somebody would come to our house to repair it. So, it took over a month for me to call all these different places that they requested that I call just to be told that they couldn't help me. Then finally, I was able to call back and they allowed me to have a TV mailed to me, which then took another three weeks to get done.
So, it was hard to get a replacement TV and we barely got one. The claims process was complicated because you file a claim then you have to call them. Overall, I made six calls just to get it resolved. Also, I loved our old TV better than the stupid TV they gave us. We've already had issues with it and I don't know if it's refurbished. But we're just stuck with it now.

I got good customer service from Allstate. I bought a TV three years ago and I had issues with it. So, I called Allstate and the gentleman I spoke to was so professional. He talked me through things that we could try to try to get the TV working again. We did that for almost 30 minutes and we had no luck. But he was able to resolve it in an instant by saying he'd send out a new TV. He said it'd take a week or two, and I had no problem with that since I wasn't in a rush. But two hours after I hung up the phone with him, I got a text message from Allstate stating that my TV was on its way. He somehow got it expedited to have it come the next day at 10 o'clock in the morning. That's top-notch service and I appreciate what he did. The only thing is, my old TV was a Samsung and they gave me a different one.
I also bought a $65 microwave from Walmart and we had issues with it. My daughter had to push the "make popcorn" in it twice and if my kids would make frozen dinner, it'd stay on the back of the box for 5 minutes and would still be frozen. Walmart didn't want to do anything about it and they just told me to call Allstate because it was past the 30 days. All I was asking for was store credit so I could get a new one. But when I called Allstate, they took care of it right away and sent me the money back instantly. It happened in a matter of 24 hours because they sent me an e-certificate.
All in all, Allstate has been phenomenal and the only thing they could improve on is the waiting. Also, when using their app, you'd have to put everything in in order to get someone to even contact you and do something about your concern. If I was to file a claim on the app, I would put in every detail I could. But then they'd ask 1001 questions, which would involve everything I would have already done.

I purchased a plan for a weed whacker. It quit working. It was a rechargeable one and something happened to the battery and wouldn't charge and I couldn't replace the battery. I tried and that item was no longer available. The claims process with Allstate went smoothly. Everything worked okay. They sent me a check.

When the hoverboard stopped working, Allstate gave me a check for it. The process was perfect. I always buy protection plans on my big purchases. When I bought a PlayStation 5, it didn't give me the option to buy it. I just bought one 10 minutes ago at Walmart.

Had a bad charging port. Sent it in on a Monday and got unit back on Saturday. Very pleased. Would have liked a sheet showing what they did since I am a techy kind of guy. Would purchase this insurance again. eBay was wise having their techy sales to include this insurance.

I purchased a mattress at Big Lots and the protection plan 1 year ago. In one year the mattress is sagging and causing major back pain. I'm consistently being told by customer service my protection plan covers the free mattress protector they send you-- not the mattress. I would not pay 99 dollars for a free mattress protector. You can buy a mattress protector for less. Then they say you have to report the claim within 30 days. 30 days of what? A mattress doesn't sag in 30 days. I talked to Big Lots Management and they told my protection plan is an extended warranty that covers the mattress. I've talked to both companies several times and keep getting the same results.
Meantime I'm sleeping on a 1300 dollar sagging mattress that's a year old. I've have this plan on my tv and mattress. Thank God the tv is good. I'll never buy this plan or from Big Lots again. To add insult to injury, several customer service reps tried to refund the 99 dollars to avoid responsibility. I don't want that refund; I want to get some sleep. SMH.

When I bought an air mattress that was defective two months after it was purchased they honored the warranty and the insurance. They are responsive and handling the issue. Call them and they begin working on it probably and a short amount of time and the issue resolved. Very pleased with the way they handle the issue.

I made a warranty claim for my tv when a power surge damaged the picture on my 65” tv. The whole process was easy, fast and the customer service agents were very helpful. The replacement tv I received had been damaged in transit so I called them and they immediately sent a replacement tv to me and I give them 5 stars because my new tv is great and the whole process was easy.

They could not have made it more difficult to get my Beats headphone repair paid for. They wouldn't accept my Apple Genius bar receipt which explained where, how and when I got my beats repaired. They said they would only accept my claim with a itemized receipt of repair pieces and labor hours included, which is NOT something Apple provides. I spoke with a representative from the Apple Genius Bar, Apple Care, and Apple Care technical support, ALL of which had never heard of this kind of detailed receipt being issued for a depot repair. I am so disappointed and think this company is scam.

You guys weren’t so helpful. I paid for a warranty on my tv to find out that warranty don’t cover accidental damage. I would have loved to get some type of compensation, half my money back or at least the money back. I paid for the warranty just for the misunderstanding.

Squaretrade offers two types of plans: Standard and Accident Protection. Accident Protection Plans cover items against physical and liquid damage but are typically provided for portable products. This can include smartphones, tablets, etc. In this case, the item was covered by our Standard Protection plan, which covers hardware and electrical failures from normal usage. Standard Protection is currently the only available coverage for TVs, regardless of where it was purchased. My computer was having problems and it was still under warranty with Allstate. I sent it back to them to be repaired and they fixed it. The time frame that it took them to do the repairs was very short and everything was done professionally. I will definitely recommend that they can be used for warranties in the future.

Our 4 year old LG refrigerator stopped working while we were away. All the food was spoiled. LG sent a tech to fix the appliance. We filed a food spoilage claim using our extended warranty from Costco. The Square Trade agents were very accommodating and after verifying our warranty, asked for pictures and value of spoilage via email. The claim was approved in less than 24 hours and the check was received within a week as promised. This is a first claim for us using extended warranty system. The experience was very positive and we would purchase extended warranties for future appliances.

I filed a claim after my bar stools deteriorated and the filing process was simple but I had to make about 6 calls to follow up on my case. A technical issue happened on SquareTrade's end that blocked my claim from being successfully submitted and it took a lot of calls, waiting on hold, being told everything was fine when it wasn't, having to talk to multiple agents to get the claim moving. Luckily the last agent was extremely friendly and solved my issue but it was difficult to complete the claim.

Charger broke off in port. It was mailed and returned to me in perfect condition. The port was cleared and usable for charging. I couldn't charge my tablet with the part broken off. The end was snapped off too short to remove the piece. Thank you very much. I was very pleased with the fast and courteous service I received.

My claim was approved in the quickest time. I got refunded 100% for my Pixel 6. I purchased the phone this year in January. My phone suddenly stopped and it was unrepairable. I am really satisfied with the service from AllState. The customer service was too professional and handled my request each time very nicely. I would definitely recommend AllState protection.

We have to constantly go in and connect. We have rerouted everything to accommodate the TV but it still buffers and has horrible connection at times. I stopped calling because I cannot understand the representative most of the time. I paid for protection and it just seems like it was wasted money.

We had problems with our TCL TV and by answering numerous questions and sending pictures, it was covered under the extended warranty we took out when we bought the TV. Since then, we have taken out the extended warranty on other products. The customer service was second to none. Great Customer Service.

I had serious hard drive problems with my iMac 27", a computer that is key to our video editing. I decided to have it repaired. Luckily, I recalled I had a Square Trade policy, however figured it had expired. It hadn't. Still had a month to go. I contacted Square Trade. They verified the iMac was still in coverage and recommended I take to an Apple authorized service provider. The Austin Genius Bar said the drive passed basic test, however had a kernel loss problem. They recommended we have the mechanical drive replaced by an SSD drive, however the Apple Store couldn't make the switch. We ended up at another Apple authorized provider, MacTronics in Austin. They replaced the mechanical drive with parts they had us order from Amazon.
I submitted the claim and within a couple of hours the claim was approved and a check going in the mail covering all the expenses. I felt VERY lucky that I'd taken out the Square Trade warranty and amazed the coverage was still good up until the end of the period. It's like having a new iMac and the SSD drive has a 5 year warranty. Thank you sooo much!

The team that came and eventually repaired my 82" Samsung TV for Cone Appliance (Scott and Scott) were excellent. The process to get to the actual repair took a bit of time and included multiple calls to multiple entities. Here is my experience: I bought a Samsung 82" TV from Costco 2 years ago with a 5 year Allstate protection plan. Recently my TV Picture went completely out. No power to the TV. Doing my own troubleshooting it was apparent that the power board must have gone bad. I called the Allstate customer service Number to start a claim.
Their system was down for approx 4 hours so they could not submit my claim until my 3rd call to them when their system was back online. Basically they filed a claim with Samsung and instructed me to now call Samsung Service. Upon reaching Samsung service they advised me that it would take a week for someone to come to look at my TV. After Samsung gave me their claim number, they told me Cone Appliance would be reaching out to me to confirm the repair appointment. I then had to call Cone Appliance to explain the them what the issue was with my TV.
The dispatcher at Cone Appliance listened and informed me that she would order a new power board for my TV so the repair techs would have the part when they arrived for my repair appointment. When the repair techs arrived they quickly determined that it was the power board, but they did not have a power board with them as apparently the board was not previously ordered as expected. They had to come back 2 days later to replace the power board... When they returned they replaced the power board in less than 15 minutes and my TV worked fine. It took a while to get there but I am happy that the board replacement did the trick.

I considered not buying the protection plan when I bought my glasses, but the cost was low enough to convince me to purchase the plan. I fell walking my dog and broke my glasses. The process was simple. I received my check promptly and the company informed me with updates at each step of the process. I would highly recommend the eyeglass protection to others. Good value for low cost.

I contacted Allstate regarding a dishwasher that was not working properly. The dishwasher had a warranty which I had purchased through them. Allstate handled the situation promptly and now I have a working dishwasher. Allstate originally tried to find a repairman to come out and had no luck. They allowed me to find someone and reimbursed the expense, but supplied the parts.

I had a very easy and straightforward experience filing my claim. Process was fast and easy. All I had to do was upload my receipt to show my proof of purchase and after that it all was so fast and got a quick response as well. Response came in the form of emails and I did not have to wait much to get a response to have my claim be approved. After it got approved I got different options as to form of pay out and then I just had to pick the one that was better for me.

I purchased a pair of refurbished Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds on eBay that included a two year warranty with Allstate. A year and a half into it, the battery life suddenly and completely turned short lived, and I contacted Allstate. My claim was accepted instantly and I mailed the earbuds to them prepaid; received word extremely quickly that they were unable to repair the buds, but would mail me a payment. Received a payment IN FULL for my initial purchase price within a few days and I couldn't be more pleased. Allstate was OUTSTANDING and made what could've been a major disappointment a surprisingly painless and fruitful experience. FIVE STARS.

When my TV failed I went online and started a claim, I then went through the customer service and it was verified the TV was not repairable, the warranty team located a replacement and sent it to my door. The process was a little lengthy but in the end it all worked out.

We had this same chair before and loved it. But the bonded leather just disintegrated over time. We went to buy the same chairs & explained to the salesman at NFM about the last chairs. He assured us if we bought the Allstate Protection Plan we'd be covered if that happened again. Also covered against spill, tears, animal destruction, etc... So the leather on the back of one of our year-old chairs is starting to do the same thing the last ones did. No problem, we thought, because we bought the protection plan.
But turns out, they won't cover this because it's not a "burn, spill, or tear". So the one thing we asked about when we were sold this protection plan, isn't covered. That is an unacceptable way to do business. There should be some liability responsibility somewhere. The computer monitor would flicker like a fluorescent light bulb that is burning out when turning on or waking up from sleep mode. This warranty plan reimbursed my purchase price of an amount they thought I should be able to replace that monitor. I bought the same protection plan for the replacement monitor. I also bought a new TV and bought an Allstate warranty for it.

TV audio failure reported Sunday 11/5 to Cosco then Allstate/SquareTrade Warranty. 11/7 and 11/9 schedule warranty appointments canceled after they never arrived--we had to call to verify where they were. 2nd Time they claim they did not have any parts? 11/13/2023 - called SquareTrade 1-888-504-2659 to find out the status of our Samsung claim #***. Was told to call Samsung 1-800-726-7864. Called Samsung at 3:30 pm on 11/13/2023. Spoke with Leno. He reached out to the Global Center Part American to check the status of the parts. 3 parts are in transit and 1 part is in backorder. Have no idea when the part will come in.
As I was speaking with Leno my husband received a text message from NISI Samsung Authorized Repair Center for Wednesday, 11/15/2023 To do diagnostic only. The call could take all day with no time estimate given. This is unacceptable. Similar appointment was given on 11/7/2023 between 8 - 12 pm and never received a call from them. Ended up calling SquareTrade then Samsung to find out no part was available and in backorder. I feel this is a gimmick to buy time, while the customer is without the main TV. Again unacceptable! Schedule again for Wed 11/15 -- but parts on back order? We lose the whole day waiting. Allstate SquareTrade Warranty 5 years, plan #** (7/10/2020-25). Up to item's purchase price, exclusive of taxes and fees. Costco $4299.99

I have a plan for a Samsung 60-inch television. When I purchased it, it came with a two-year factory warranty from Samsung. I purchased a three-year extended warranty through Allstate. Exactly one year and five days after the purchase, the TV went to a black screen. I dealt with Samsung for seven weeks and they kept running me around and telling me that the TV did not come with a two-year warranty. They insisted that I got a one-year warranty from Samsung, and the second year is through a third party called Assurant. Samsung kept submitting a work order for a repair, and no one in my area was willing to work on the TV through Assurant Insurance. Everybody told me, if Samsung is going to pay for the repairs, they'd be more than happy to fix it. But if it's through Assurant, they wanted no part of it.
I called Allstate to ask if I had to wait until the two-years was up before I could inform them of what was going on. The rep was great. He made a three-way call between me and Assurant, and tried to help me, which I really appreciated. And when the call was finally done, the Allstate rep told me that if I didn't get satisfaction with Assurant, call them back. He was very helpful. Three weeks ago, I got a check in the mail from Assurant, so there wasn't any need to call Allstate back.

Less than 3 years and I had 3 different service calls (LG Washer), after the 3rd visit the tech said it's no good and need a new one (he was in house for less than 10 min). He took the parts that were sent and informed me I would hear something within 1-2 business days (I called 4 business days later). 3 weeks later and I have had to call 3 different times to get an update and finally was told they will send a 'Payment' to reimburse me (had to call a 4th time to find out how much). The payment is for a washer I bought 3 years ago that is now $200-$300 more. Fam of 5 and we just need a washer.
Now I have to spend extra money on a new washer, pay for another warranty, take a day off work so I can make all this happen, and I'm waiting 5-7 more business days for a 'Payment'. SLOW process that had me going from website to sending emails to calling multiple numbers to talk to the warranty service, service tech, service tech coordinator, and kept being told 1-2 business days which was a lie. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My dogs tore into one of the cushions and I had to file a claim. It was hard to get the reimbursement check. There was an issue with sending and there was limited access for communication. It had to be all through email or through the app, which isn’t user-friendly. I was trying to get into it and there were three different claims they put out there and you can only click on one. It wasn’t always updated. The way the rep who sold me the sofa spoke to me about it was something totally different than what the rep from Allstate Protection explained. He did great telling us about it but it doesn't match up with what Allstate covers. So, that needs to be fixed. Allstate should have an updated information. Also, the coverage wasn’t detailed. The dogs tore up the pillows as well and that was a big ordeal. So, it was annoying. But otherwise, dealing with the customer service team was okay. I'm glad I'm done and over with the claim. Hopefully, my dogs won't do it again.

I have multiple items with Allstate Protection. One of my recent ones is a game system. I got the plan for it to make sure that it can be replaced if it malfunctions within the first few years because most electronics do. I went online and filed a claim. They asked me some information about what was going on with the device. After that, they let me know my options. Recently, my Switch went down, and instead of them just giving me a refund for it, they told me I had to send it in. I didn't like that they were not sending me anything to send it in.
My concerns for other people and even for myself, is if I don't have it at the time to send a box with technology in it to them to get fixed, which would cost me money, that means I won't be getting it fixed off the warranty. They keep the claim open until they feel like you're supposed to send it. I'm having a little difficulty with that one right now, but most of the claims have been easy. They just tell you the refund amount and give it to you at the store. Most of my purchases are at Walmart. So, they give me a Walmart card, and then it goes from there.
When I was having trouble with my Switch, I contacted services. It frustrated me that day, and I haven't called back yet. I also sent an email, but I haven't gotten anything. The website is great. It would just be nice to have someone to chat with more. Also, if you wanna stop a claim, it has no option to stop the claim. It gives you an option to cancel the warranty, but if you wanna just stop a claim at that time, it's a little hasty for me to pay for me to send it in for them to see what's wrong with it, and then tell me if it's feasible enough or they're gonna send me back my money. Allstate is very beneficial. It's necessary. I love the amount because I got a fair price for the amount of years. I really enjoy and I'm gonna keep buying my protection plans especially from Allstate. I have multiple positive things to say about them.

Allstate's website is easy to navigate. But I bought a television and they don't cover it. It doesn't go for a broken screen or it's only mechanical details. It would be great if within so long if it breaks, they could cover it. But the first time was good. It was for a laptop. The screen broke and Allstate fixed it. I was glad about that. They do up to about two to three times.

We started out having a problem with the bottom freezer with ice buildup. The first time Allstate made an appointment for someone to come out, the company never showed up. When I called about that problem, the guy told us that we needed to defrost the freezer first. We took out all the food, defrosted it, followed the instructions, and cleaned it out. When we plugged it back up and were waiting on it to cool off, it stopped working. When a tech came out, they determined the power cord was burned. Allstate mailed a check for the reimbursement. The whole process took a month. We had a good experience.

My JBL speaker wasn't charging properly and I could tell it was messed up 'cause it was cracking. I mailed it out to get it repaired but they sent me a gift card instead. I don't want the gift card. They're reimbursing me the 139 when it's a $240 speaker. I'd rather have the speaker and just get it repaired myself somewhere else. They sent me a prepaid shipping label, which is fine, but I had to get my own box. If I paid $139 for the speaker, then it's fine for them to give me a 139 gift card and I can get another speaker of the same value. But I can't get the same speaker. Other than that, their rep was great and she did awesomely. She guided me through the process.

I recently made a claim through the Walmart app that sent me to Allstate, which they have a contract with. I answered a few questions about what was wrong with my device and then it said, "All right, your device qualifies." Then it came in a week later. This time, it was easy. Other times, I had a rough time making a claim with them because they said the device was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. But, the manufacturer didn't wanna pay it off because they said, "We're not responsible for whatever it was damaged for." I had to go back to Allstate and explain to them what was wrong with it, and then the call would cut off. I had to start all over with someone else. But besides that, I haven't had any issues with them. Everything was straightforward. They were helpful.

The cooktop would turn on by itself, or it would turn off the burner I'm cooking on when I hadn't touched it or asked it to turn it off, or sometimes it could change the temperature. I went back to my eBay account where I had purchased it and it directed me as to how to do the claim. I had to send in a copy of my sales ticket then it sent me to another website. I called the other website and it opened up into an information page. I followed the directions on the information page and spoke to somebody. They told me to contact the manufacturer because it should have still been under warranty. It was only a couple of months old. This was a paint. I contacted the manufacturer and the only time I ever got a response from them was 4:00 in the morning.
The next night, I sent them an email. Within 30 minutes, I had a response. They wanted me to tell them what was happening and what I had done. Then the next contact said, "Stop using it immediately." I came out in the middle of the night to get a drink and all my burners were on. They were flaming red. It freaked me out. I even tried to lock it because there's a mechanism where you can push one of the sensors and it should lock the whole panel. The lock didn't even work. They wanted me to send them pictures of what the controls were doing. I sent them pictures and like I told them in the email, I said, "It's hard to send you pictures of something that does what it wants, when it wants." Sometimes it'll do it, sometimes it won't.
They asked me to have somebody come out and look at it, and I would pay for it then send them the bill. They said they would authorize $35. I said, "You're not getting anybody in this country to come out for $35." That was the first problem. I called a bunch of people and nobody had any information on this cooktop. I called electrical people because they wanted me to have somebody electrical come out. Then I started calling appliance people and the appliance people had never heard of this unit and didn't know where they would be able to get parts to fix it. Nobody wanted to come look at it. I told them that. Then they offered to send me 80 bucks and close the claim. I said, "No. I paid a lot more than $80 for this unit and I'm gonna have to buy another one." They're now over $250. They didn't even respond after that.
I went ahead and contacted Allstate again because I've done everything everybody asked me and I was still stuck. They said they were gonna pay what the claim was for and sent me $236 on a prepaid Mastercard. I have spent more than that buying another stovetop. But I'm good. The process was awesome and I understood why they had to send me to the manufacturer. I had a problem finding a 36-inch cooktop though and I ended up having to wait a little bit. I went directly to Allstate and bought a protection plan for my new unit because the people I bought it from on eBay did not offer an Allstate protection plan. I'm selling iPhones on eBay and some of them have a manufacturer's warranty left while some of them only have a partial manufacturer warranty left. I would like to be able to offer people a full warranty. I would like to know how we can offer Allstate to our customers.

I got a Fitbit Charge 5, and it stopped working after a year. I tried to troubleshoot it and talked to Fitbit support, and their resolution was for me to buy another one. At that point, I got an Allstate Protection plan because a similar thing happened to me a year earlier. So, I followed the steps to get a new product, and so far, so good. It was all online. There were tracking numbers and claim numbers provided. So, it was a user-friendly experience. They sent a new device in the mail. Allstate was a fantastic investment.

I’m so glad I did! It quit working after just 2 months and Fitbit said it wasn’t covered by their warranty. With just a little effort, Allstate agreed to reimburse me for all but about $6 of what I paid and didn’t even require me to send in the non-working item. I’ll definitely buy their coverage again!

I had a claim for the recliner. When I took off the throw blanket from the recliner, I noticed it was coming apart from where it was sewn. It was like the material was old and it started unraveling. We took a picture and sent it to Allstate. I also submitted the receipt and the warranty that I bought. After an hour, I got a thing stating that they had received the claim and that they were gonna look it over. Then they said because it was a big item and I couldn't send it back, they were just gonna refund me the money I had paid. I haven't used it yet but I kept the e-card from Big Lots with the number on it and I can use it when I go into the store. But I would've liked the hard card. Allstate should think about other elderly people like my age who are not computer savvy.

I purchased a Samsung 70” TV, along with an extended warranty from Sam’s Club on 10/30/2020. On 10/06/2023 the TV stopped working. I filled a claim under the extended warranty on 10//07. I was given a claim number and told a repair service would contact me within two business days. They never did. I called them twice but was only able to leave a message. They never called back. Little did I know this service had a consumer rating of 1.7! Once again I contacted Square Trade and was given another repair service. They were much better, they called me. Today my TV was repaired, 18 days after filing the claim. Make your own decision, but I would never buy another extended warranty with Square Trade.

It was easy process to get the claim complete. I thought I would be declined and refused like every other company but Allstate had friendly people who are sympathetic and hassle free process. More companies should operate like this and understand that we pay a fee to feel secure and when we need items replaced it should be done without feeling an additional burden. I will use Allstate again.

I purchase this 65' Vizio in 2021 in good condition, this month when turning the TV on it had lines of color and circle on it. It has never been damage, I did a claim & called Square Trade with Allstate Protection Plans and they stated my TV had a crack on the inside screen when it was on. The TV had colored lines on it and now picture. I take good care of my television and they would not honor my warranty. This is a Scam protection plan. The people were not helpful at all and I wasted my money and time buying a warranty from them. I will never get another warranty from this company. It is a big rip off. I all brought another Vizio 55' in 2020 that had the same problem. SMH, never again, it is something wrong with that brand.

When I called Allstate Protection Plans for my cellphone, they created a claim for me in their system and told me that it was okay for me to go directly to Apple, but it was important for me to make sure I get a work authorization form and if it was not repairable, to make sure they put that down on the paperwork, which I did. I called them and told them that I have the paperwork. They told me to reply back to the email that I received that said warranty support with the paperwork and they should process it and I should hear back from them. I waited two weeks then called to follow up on where the claim was. They said they were missing my receipt. I uploaded the receipt and I was told to wait two more days then I should get another follow-up that said that they had everything. The other day I got the email that said that they had processed it and they were going to mail me a check. We have received the check for $500.
The product is good and having the insurance worked out to my favor. I didn't have to pay out the full amount of the replacement phone. We've had the phone for over a year so 20 times 12 months is 240 bucks for the year. I got my money back from paying the premium. I would recommend it for someone else to get Allstate Protection Plan. Their user portal and communication need some help though. The told me over the phone what they exactly needed and I wrote it down. When I went to Apple, I made sure it met their requirements. A lot of their claim instructions say, "The best way to file a claim is to go to our website and start the claim there which I did. But they also did the claim over the phone with me. There was another claim number that they created after the fact. They gave me a different claim number since some of the things changed.

The day before Idalia, we were watching the news and all of a sudden, the TV went black. So I did the claim and about two weeks ago, they sent me the new TV. At first, the claims process was frustrating because they were giving me the runaround. It took them about a month in order to do my claim and I was a little frustrated. I even told them I was gonna get a lawyer and I was gonna go to Telemundo because they weren't giving me answers. We were almost a month without a TV. But in the end, I finally got my TV. I was frustrated and said a couple of bad words to the customer service team, but they were always nice to me. So the customer service was awesome.

I bought a car alarm from eBay and Allstate was part of the sale that came with the refurbished unit. There was an issue with the unit. The warranty, through the email, said to file a claim if I have an issue. I went online and filed the claim online. It was not very easy getting customer service because it was all done automated on the website. I got an automatic response back that said, "Because it happened with the unit brand-new, basically, as it came, it's not covered under warranty. You gotta go back to the seller on eBay." I went to the seller on eBay and resolved it in that manner. The claim was closed because of that. On the whole, go for Allstate Protection.

I bought the controller from Walmart and it had stick drift. It's an electronic device, so if you just set it on the counter and you weren't touching it, it was acting as if you were pushing in a direction, but you weren't even touching it. We tried to fix everything and I did an hour of some troubleshooting with the Nintendo people, but we were unable to do it. So they told me to call Allstate back, and I did. Their claims process was very easy and the person was very comfortable with me. I didn't have to go Karen, as people would say, and I didn't have to get upset. They just talked me through it and they were able to get me a check to pay for another controller, so I went out and got my daughter that.
I understand that nobody wants to give you free money or make you get that free reimbursement back, but I didn't like the fact that I had to troubleshoot for about an hour to two hours of my time to get it done. I'm a technician by trade, so I'm pretty competent in what I do. So everything that I did with the troubleshooting people, I had already done myself. But I get it.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for a VIZIO TV. I made a claim request because it stopped working. It wouldn't power up. Nothing we did would make it work. Allstate had taken us through several steps, and even that wouldn't allow it to start working again. As far as the claim process, I went through Walmart, and I went through their steps on how to go online and fill out all the information with Allstate. Then, I contacted a representative over the phone. It was easy to get in contact with the agent, but it was complicated to a certain extent to go through all the measures to satisfy Allstate in trying to get it replaced. They wanted me to unplug the TV and manually push the power button for 30 seconds and then do something else. They kept repeating the steps. I'd already done them, and then they wanted me to repeat them again.
I put the original claim in April, and then, I had to call back four months later, and it went fairly fast after the callback the second time. Once Allstate accepted the claim, I got the TV within the week. They shipped it from Walmart. I'm very satisfied with Allstate. Originally, they were offering me a TV that I wasn't quite satisfied with. I have a VIZIO, but they were trying to replace it with an ION, and I wasn't happy with that brand. Somehow, they found a replacement for the same TV, which was nice. Overall, it was definitely worth buying the Allstate.

My recent claim to Allstate was for my angel tree. Her light stopped working. It's already been taken care of. I did the claim online. It was very quick and easy. They sent me a check for the value of the tree. I also had a problem with the vacuum, and one of their gentlemen spent almost an hour on the phone with us trying to get my vacuum fixed. He could hear how bad the vacuum sounded. We had to take everything apart, which was fine to try to fix the vacuum. I was like, "If that breaks, then we're screwed." He was like, "No, we'll send another one." Anything that we've had go wrong, everybody's been really great with us.

I have a protection plan for an MP3 player. I've got my refund for the issue I have. The only problem was sending the paperwork in, the way they would direct you to do it, it was a pain in the butt. They wanted me to take a picture of the receipt, scan it, upload it, and there are some confusing things on the website. But as soon as they got the equipment in with the paperwork, they sent the refund within 10 days.

I filed one claim to Allstate online. It was quick and easy. My back camera lens shattered when I was taking my oldest son to school, and my phone went off the center console and hit something in the back. It shattered the back. So, it came off. Allstate was very cooperative, understanding, and they sent me a shipping label. They told me how to package the phone, and they told me to ship it back to them. They sent me a reimbursement of my choice. I had options. I could have chosen a check or a Walmart gift card or a regular gift card. I chose Walmart because it was where I got the phone from before and I really like that phone. So, I got the same exact phone. I got the gift card within 48 hours after shipping the broken phone out. So, it was efficient. I got a second plan since they were so great.

Extremely online easy filing process! Was top notch until they made an error and sent a check for only the repair diagnosis amount and left out the refund for the covered cost of the generator before closing the claim. I have to say I’m impressed. I bought a tool on eBay that came with a 2 year warranty provided by Allstate. The tool failed a little more than a year later. I contacted Allstate and, much to my surprise, they requested the tool to be shipped to them and in less than a week, declared the tool unrepairable and sent me a refund check. Outstanding!

I took the phone to two repair shops, neither could fix it, then I took it to Verizon, who gave me a new sim card. Phone still not functioning correctly. All they will do is reimburse me for the cost, no taxes, and WILL NOT REPLACE THE PHONE!!! THIS STINKS.

Bought over a year ago a GE stove with glass top and it just got a big crack in the middle and the 5 years product warranty with “All State” says that is not a mechanical or item defect; they described as physical and wear/use so the warranty plan doesn’t cover any of this, but to me it’s a mechanical issue because I think it supposed to last way longer with normal daily use. Called Home Depot to report this and they just said all this is out of their hands because it’s not a Home Depot warranty. Over $1,200 trashed.

I have been trying to get claims done on 5 cell phones since 8/21/23 and it has been a struggle. The CCR's give out wrong information and I still have not gotten all of the claims resolved due to the hoops they want you to jump through. Not worth the cost of the plan because they don't even pay you the full amount you paid for your phone, they pay you what they say the phone is now worth 2 years later. It's a waste of time and a scam.

Allstate personnel were not knowledgeable and rude. This whole ordeal was trying. I had to contact Costco twice to get resolution. It took over 1 month to resolve this issue. The repair personnel, when they finally arrived were terrific. Getting them here was the difficult part. I had 3 different claim ids. One of the claims was canceled by Square trade without my knowledge or consent.

It was really easy to submit a claim when my ice maker broke. I talked to two people at Allstate. The first one I talked to was in the wrong department. But she got me to the small appliances department. I told them I never filed a claim before and they walked me right through the process. Everything was step-by-step. I didn't have to wonder or guess about anything. They were really good at explaining everything, what would happen next, and the emails that I would be getting. They were knowledgeable, fast, and efficient. They were easy to deal with. I loved the rep that I talked to at the small appliance department.
The hardest part for me was finding the receipt. But since I bought it at Walmart, they've got the Walmart app and it tracks all of your purchases. So I was able to get a copy of the receipt. After that, it was three days and I had my email saying that they were just gonna give me the money to replace the item. They gave me a gift card for the purchase price, less plan. So they gave me just the amount to replace the ice maker.

We've filed two claims with Allstate. The first one was great but the second one was a little bit more difficult. My husband spent a lot of time being transferred to five or six people per call and then we weren't able to get enough for the device to replace it so there was some out-of-pocket cost. But other than those, it was a pretty simple process and if we didn't have the insurance, we would have paid for all of the out-of-pocket cost. It's worth it.

Immediate response, great agent, I called because the HDMI connections on my 70” Vizio TV stopped working. The agent walked me through the diagnostic procedure and it was determined the the TV was defective and would be replaced under the warranty I got when I pitched the TV from Costco. My LG TV screen went blank, tech was scheduled but failed to come out due to Covid, quickly rescheduled, tech came out and determined TV not repairable. I purchased this plan because my son is on the spectrum and tends to be rough with electronic items. I purchased a 2 year plan but just found out it termed after one repair. As with most plans there is a catch- if the repairs cost more than the purchase price of the plan they will not cover the damage. So basically they may cover your item once but if anything happens after that it will not be covered again. Just be careful with purchasing this plan especially if your child is similar to mine.

Very easy filling of claim online. After mailing the camera with the provided mailing label, I received regular updates. The camera was repaired and returned within two weeks of submitting the claim. The machine would not heat the brewing water hot enough to make a proper cup of coffee and then the warmer burner would only maintain that temperature of 160-165 degrees. The national Coffee Association states the water should be 195-205 degrees for proper brewing of the ground coffee beans. Gevi told us that 165 degrees was in the normal range and then stopped emailing me, That is when I contacted the extended warranty company I had purchased and they immediately took control and issued our purchase price back.

This warranty service is through AllState. I was very leery of even getting it, but because it was a major purchase--my big screen TV-- I decided to do so. I am so glad I did! I have a 4 year extended warranty on my 50" Samsung TV and it developed major technical problems my 3rd year in. I contacted AllState, who immediately put me in touch with Samsung and now all is well with my TV. I am so glad I bought the extended Allstate Protection Plan through B&H when I purchased my $1000 Wide Angle Video Camera Lens Adapter for my Sony FX9. I only had the adapter for a year, and some internal components became loose which caused the expensive glass to move around. My airplane landing gear snapped on a normal landing and caused other damage. I called in a claim and they asked me to ship it to them. They reviewed it and denied the claim. Then they damaged it beyond repair shipping it back to me. I would have been better off with no protection plan since I now have a plane that can't be repaired. Don't waste your money on this dishonest company.

Explained everything very well so it all went smoothly. We received the new TV the next week, so down time was minimal. I bought the protection plan and within hours of buying it I had an accident. The protection plan was not honored due to timing. I have 2 plans. 1 was accidental the other was a warranty. Neither plan was any good for me. This is why I don't buy life insurance because I have that kind of fate.

It went completely black and had a white burn in the corner but luckily I was able to get in contact with Allstate Protection to help with my issue and I was very happy with my results and how fast everything went. I called Allstate on 9/18/23 to open a claim to have our dishwasher repaired under the extended warranty we purchased. I was told they would order parts and a repair person would repair the dishwasher on 9/22/23. I then received an email that they were not going to order parts and the Friday technician visit was for diagnosis only. The tech did come on 9/22 and did diagnose the problem (which was the same as I told them on the original call). I called on 9/25 to find out when the tech would come back to repair the dishwasher and got the complete runaround from the customer service people I spoke with on the phone. I was told since he didn't do the repair that I would have to wait 2 days for an update. No parts were ordered. The upshot is I still do not have a working dishwasher or any idea when anyone is going to fix it. This is the worst customer service AND WORST TECH I have ever dealt with. I would NEVER recommend Allstate to anyone.

I made a claim on my Sectional that covered accidents. They decided that a refund would be the best way to take care of it. I got a email stating I was going to be refunded directly in full and that I needed to sign an affidavit. So I did. Once they received that they sent another email saying I was going to be refunded in the form of a gift card. Never once was I told that was the form of “direct payment” other than the couch that the store no longer even had. I do not shop there. They refused to change it, then offered to refund me the price of my Protection plans, I got the check and it was half of what I paid. When you are refunding someone it should be in the form how they paid! It also took them so long to respond and a few of the people I spoke with had very bad attitudes.

I purchased a plan from Allstate Protection for a PlayStation 5 remote control. I recently filed a claim because the joystick stopped working all of a sudden. The process was very easy. I ended up buying two generators. They are the same exact generators, but two plans. I'm really glad I did that because one generator was a lemon from the start. So initially, we had a repair within a very short amount of time of owning it, and Allstate did a great job of reimbursing us for that. But then, it was broken. I called Allstate and said, "I'm not gonna do a repair on this again. I just want my money back." So it couldn't have been easier. I got my $250 back for my generator, so the plan was very valuable.

The screen of my son's Samsung cellphone was broken in different places and it wasn't responsive. I filed a claim online and I received a message with the shipping label. I couldn't get the shipping label to populate right away. I sent an email. They replied back. I got it to work. It was super easy. I mailed it off and then it was sent back relatively quickly. They replaced the phone quickly. And with my plan, I didn't have to pay a deductible. It was just an even swap. So that was very nice.

I paid good hard-earned work money to pay for this refrigerator and I'm paying for the warranty as well and you people are not satisfying me. After using Allstate once, it expires. So I paid for a two-year warranty, and then changed the phone out for another one because it cracked. Then they said I had to buy a new warranty. The process of exchanging the phone was easy. But as far as, paying for a two-year warranty and then only using it once, it doesn't seem right.

First I want to say the customer service agents I spoke to were not the problem! I would give them 5/5. Each one was always respectful and friendly, they did everything they could to help me!! The problem I have is with the fact that I mailed my phone to your company on August 25th, and still have not received an email, old phone, or new phone. I waited weeks for an update explaining why I hadn't received a replacement phone.
Finally, a manager decided to send me a check in place of the replacement phone. I do appreciate that manager for at least doing that, but he still couldn't tell me what happened. I have a lot of things that I have insurance with Allstate and I have liked them. Whenever I buy a product, insurance is usually offered and I get them. My kids sometimes break tablets and I have to send them to them and Allstate will fix them and send them back quickly. I used the warranty for the iPad. The claim process was pretty easy. It just asks for your serial number and what the problem is. Once you answer a few questions, they send you the shipping label and you just print that and send the item to Allstate. I did everything online. The information that I have to fill out on the internet is the only thing that I need. It's not even five minutes to do everything. Having the warranty is nice and has saved my pocket. I had a really good experience.

The product was delivered and left in rain with no notice. The box was soaked and sat outside from Saturday until noticed box on Monday am, as was left at entrance I don't use frequently. The good news at the end was that they replaced my TV with an equal or higher quality TV. The process was a bit painful. Every time I spoke to an agent we went through a similar process and they said that should work. After about 5 or six calls to Allstate and the same number to LG going through many of the same steps one of the LG advisors logged on to my TV and reviewed info and said I had defective readings and the TV needed to be replaced. Way too many hours on the phone to reach that conclusion.

I did the first claim online. I had some stains on the couch, and when I filed the claim, the process walked me through. Allstate sent me a cleaning kit. I tried to do the second claim online as well because the kit didn't do anything. They gave me a number to call because they said that I couldn't continue online due to the first one not working. I called and they said they are gonna arrange someone to come and clean it for us. I don't understand why I couldn't do it online for the second time. I think that is a deliberately step to discourage people to continue their claim.

I ordered one or two protection plans in the past from Allstate and any time I ever needed them, it's been fairly painless. I replaced a Bluetooth headset and I thought that was so handy because it's like a $40 headset. Then, I got it for my cell phone and it sure did pay off. I had damage to the cell phone and I called up. I spoke with somebody because one of the problems I was having with the phone was that it seemed like the battery might be going bad. Initially, the system wanted me to send it in, but I got to a screen where I was like, "Well, you know, if the battery might be bad, maybe don't send it in and call this number." I did and I don't remember waiting on hold for very long. It was a one or two-phone-call process and then they sent me a check. I would recommend it to anybody. It's a fairly inexpensive way to insure the item.

The phone fell out of my pocket, hit on the edge and cracked the screen. Allstate gave me an address for a repair shop that doesn't exist. When I went to another one to do the repairs, they told me that they don't do repairs for this insurance claim and that I would have to pay for it and try to settle up with the insurance company. It was a chore. I got ahold of the phone company and talked to them. I also got ahold of Allstate, I talked to the service reps, and they got it straightened out. It was all done through the mail. They sent me a new phone, I took it to the phone company, and they set it up for me. It took me a week to get it cleared up. It was the worst claims process I've experienced.

I had a claim for the TV. The remote control wasn't working. I tried doing the claim online, but it said that I needed to call. So I did. I told them what was wrong and they tried to troubleshoot. Then they recommended that I get a new remote or buy it myself. Allstate covered it. They just explained to me that it was gonna have to be deducted if something ever goes wrong with my TV, that it's probably not gonna cover everything. Whatever I paid for it, they were gonna reduce the amount of the remote control cost. I didn't know that they wouldn't replace my TV. They would only replace the amount that I paid, not even the value. So if I got it for sale for 500, then they would only give me a credit of 500. I thought they would replace the TV itself. So that was not fully transparent.

They compensate me with two items and it was a good experience with them. The cost, comparing with the compensation, is pretty good. I had a claim and at the beginning, their response was very slow on the phone. I had to clarify things and get ahold of a representative over the phone. It was difficult. Advertisements claimed at the time of purchase, and still claim today, that Allstate will repair, replace, or reimburse full replacement. Actual fine print says only reimburses purchase price, and many appliances, etc., cannot be replaced at original purchase price. Allstate refuses to cover the difference for actual replacement, and continues to advertise that they will.

Purchased a $169.99 portable AC unit plus the 4-yr Allstate EPP from Menard's in June 2022. Unit worked beautifully until Sept 4 (Labor Day 2023), when it up and died. Mfr would not deal with it because beyond its 1-yr warranty. I called Allstate and submitted the claim the same day. The next day, since no one around here repairs portable AC units, Allstate agreed to reimburse me the full $169.99. I got the check by the end of the week.

It took 3 days and 3 different associates (one I dealt with twice) before I could get my claim completed correctly. I was put on hold numerous times. I was issued a card for the wrong amount which was 100.00 dollars less than it was supposed to be. Then I was issued a card for the wrong amount again which was way more than it was supposed to be. Finally it was straightened out and I received the correct amount. Never again will I take out this insurance from this company and will advise anyone that ask me not to.

I am unimpressed with SquareTrade. They are slow to provide updates and slow to replace/repair my item. What was supposed to be 2-5 days is on day 15 and I have to chase them down for updates, only to hear “You should have heard from someone by now…”. I asked for them to expedite about a week ago, only for them to tell me via chat that the estimated completion time was two days ago… Thanks for nothing. I used my laptop for work, I lost more than the cost of a new, better system. Never again.

Never AllState recognized a claim, no buy them again:
1. Bose headsets: The Bose seller swore and perjured that it covered cosmetic damage such as broken headset and the Bose brochure said so; The product lasted two years and is in poor condition, and AllState said "Not Covered" because is "working" even they are hanging from my ears. My Beats are three years old and are perfect with the same use.
2. Instant Ace Nova "free of maintenance" now is leaking everything before "Coverage End Date", and same history, the damage is not covered.

I got Allstate for a Bluetooth car stereo. My previous Bluetooth car stereo broke. Instead of having to replace it at full price, I was able to make a claim on the previous Allstate plan I had. And they were able to reimburse me quite a bit. It also helped me to buy a new one. When I submitted a claim, I went online after looking up the details of my plan through Walmart. I just selected the product that I had labeled under my email and hit Start Claim, entered in a few details. They emailed me back a couple of days later and asked me to provide a picture of my serial number and proof that it was broken, if applicable. Once I sent those back, they approved my claim and sent me a paper check. For the stereo I just got, I got a three-year plan for five bucks. Considering how much it can cover, that’s very much worth it.

I bought an earbud off eBay and I got the protection plan. It had been less than a year and the earbud went out. I went back into my account on eBay, found the information and how to do it, and I just followed the prompt. Instead of Allstate Protection sending me a replacement, they sent me a check on what it's worth, which was fine, because I paid maybe about $5 more than what the check was for. It was a very easy and simple process.

Allstate's claims process was very difficult. It took me almost two months to finally get it resolved, but it did get resolved. I went to the store, I talked to the manager, and I talked to customer service. They gave me the Allstate coverage that I paid for. The reason it was so difficult is the item that I bought came with a one-year warranty. So, when I contacted Allstate to get some support, they said, "Okay. We'll, you know, technically, it's still under the manufacturer's warranty." Nobody could give me the manufacturer's phone number or contact information. So, I was kind of like left out to dry. The Walmart managers couldn't figure out who I was supposed to call. Allstate didn't know. So, I wasn't very happy at all. If Walmart is the one who's selling the products, they need to have better access to the right numbers to call when stuff doesn't work. I don't think Allstate did anything wrong there.

Every time I would call Allstate and try to place a claim, they'd tell me to go to the store, and they'd tell me to contact the manufacturer. I finally got mad. A month ago I called and told them I wasn't gonna keep going through that because I paid for this protection and I've been getting the runaround. It took me forever to get them to respond. But they finally reimbursed me for the scooter. But it wasn't a good experience. But the last person I spoke with was great. She got everything handled within that phone call. The coverage itself was also great. It was just the hassle of getting it to work.

I had a barbecue grill and chlorine generator that went down. The grill's igniter wouldn't ignite the barbecue. The claim was done by email and they sent us an email saying "Yes, we recognize this claim. We will be sending a replacement." But a couple of days later, they said that they would just refund me my money for the purchase in lieu of sending me a new one. They refunded my money via e-card. For the chlorine generator, the same thing, they deemed it unrepairable and said they would send me a refund. They mailed me a check for that.

I filed a claim for a garden machine. The issue was on a rototiller. I bought a set of tines, which are the metal parts that dig the soil. Over time, they began to bend, and that made them not work, eventually. I did it online. It was easy. They just asked for the receipt and I submitted that and explained what had happened. They said they were gonna try and replace the item. They looked around for one or two days and decided that they couldn't find a replacement, so they told me they were gonna give me a refund.

I had to submit a claim for my microwave, and the website was very user-friendly. The process was super easy too. Allstate sent me a gift card. I could have opted for the cash, but I opted for the gift card. I have a protection plan on a couch, and the process has not been easy on that.

I thought when I took this insurance out, I would least get the money I paid for the part. I don’t even get quite half of it back. All I get is 19.99. I’ll be 4039 before tax. I don’t know if it quite worth taking Insurance out on some things because if you just don’t pay right at half it’s not quite worth it.

My son dropped his tablet and cracked the screen. I sent it in with prepaid label and it was repaired and back to us in less than 2 weeks. Very nice and easy to deal with. I went to Target and bought the Nintendo Switch. They asked, “Do you want to purchase a protection plan for two years.” The only thing that was available was Allstate. Because I knew the Switch was gonna be for my child and I knew that he breaks things, I purchased the protection for it. I recently filed a claim. That was smooth and easy.

My phone battery went bad and it got to where it wouldn't charge at all. It would charge for a few minutes and then it would quit. It would take three or four days for me to charge my phone completely and then after that, it never would charge completely. The claims process was great. They put another battery in it, which they had to order because they didn't have it in stock and it took about a week. The people they sent me to were really A1 people. They have knowledge of the product and they know what they're doing and what they're talking about. They treat you like you're human.

I had to replace my broken cell phone that was insured by Allstate through Square Trade, Inc. It was completely hassle free! Although my cell phone company no longer carried the Samsung Note phones, I received a new comparable Samsung S 23 Ultra Phone with a stylus within 2 days! It couldn't have been easier.
