My NEEDONE icemaker kept stating that the ice was full when there was no ice in it. The model that I had purchased was no longer being sold. I filed the claim and they were able to find me a comparable replacement with the same functions in a timely manner from the time that the claim was filed.

This has been absolute torture trying to get our office printer fixed. We have a policy that is active and we filed a claim. Because our office name changed, you would think we are trying to scam this company every which way. I have submitted the information over and over and days go by. The original claim was submitted 12/6/23. When I finally get the confirmation that they have our policy, We need to submit all the purchasing information, which was all submitted when we took out the policy, pictures with hand written notes stating date and time (the timestamped date and time on the pictures were not compliant). The people you speak to follow a script and cannot make decisions or speak to anyone real time to get questions answered. I'm curious for the next step, if we get there on how we go about getting a repair. I would steer clear and find another warranty company.

So far it's been very unpleasant to deal with square trade. Before sending a technician to the house they want you to actually put in some work on the appliance so they can know what parts to order. After failing to guess what the problem they sent a technician to check what was wrong, parts were ordered only to receive the wrong ones. When you call they want to go over everything only to tell you they apologize for the inconvenience and they will try to resolve the issue. I’ve lost two days of work because of this. Money that this company will not reimburse. And who knows when my refrigerator will get fix.

I had the policy from a different company and then it changed to AllState. I didn't even know it had changed to Allstate when I needed to use it but it was easy enough. I put the claim in through the previous company and they were supposed to send a phone in three days. After a week, I called and Allstate recognized there was an issue. A supervisor came on and she pushed it through again and I appreciate her effort in that. It worked out pretty good.

I purchased protection plans for a desk and a lamp in the store on the day that I purchased the items. They asked me if I wanted to. The lamp stopped working and it was very easy submitting a claim. The reps were very informative and the website was easy to use. I had a different email address, which made it difficult. So, I had to update it. But they were able to send me all the necessary paperwork. Allstate ended up giving me my money back and it was more than the full amount. It was a great experience with Allstate. I will be doing protection on my product from now on because it's very helpful.

I have been shopping with Walmart and Amazon for a while and I always known to put insurance on my stuff because I know things do play out and stop working at a certain time. So, it eases your mind knowing that you will be able to either get it fixed or replaced. I recently filed for my mom's phone that I purchased for her. She ended up dropping the phone and cracking it. I filed the claim. I told Allstate that I was gonna purchase my mom another phone and then I would send them the phone since I already knew that once I sent the phone to them, they would give me my refund back of whatever they say I was eligible to get. So, they sent me a shipping label. Now, I'm in the process of taking the old phone to FedEx and shipping it off back to Allstate.

Allstate is good. I got a protection plan for an electric scooter for my child. The scooter stopped working. We put a couple of time charging it also, but it still did not work. Then, we filed the claim. It was easy. They returned the money within 48 hours.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for some earbuds. They always go out before the year. I didn't know that I only get to file one claim. They said since I filed a claim, my thing is over. So if the earbuds go out, I'm out of luck. I filed the claim because my earbuds stopped charging. Their website was cool. I tried doing it on the phone but they kept telling me I had to do it on the internet. I just got a new pair of earbuds yesterday. They sent them. At first, they said that they were gonna send me credit because they couldn't find them, but they did. I didn't have to buy some earbuds again, so it's worth it.

I bought a 50-inch Samsung television for my mom at Sam’s Club and submitting the claim went well. I didn’t know who to call because I had all of the information written down on my receipt for Samsung. So I called them. Then, I called Sam’s Club and they told me to call Allstate. Once I did, I didn't expect them to tell me to send an email. So it was a new process, but I could understand it. I didn't wanna do that extra stuff but it was more helpful because when we do the email and then send the actual photo, the repair people know what they need to do when they come out. So the process was very smooth.
The representative was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful, and explained everything. When I was talking to them, I was also talking to my mom at the same time. So it was a little confusing for me. But the representative was very helpful. They sent the email immediately. I sent the wrong thing initially. I only sent photos and a day later, they responded and told me to send a video. It was very efficient and their response was very quick. It was just a matter of a couple of days. And before you know it, within two or three days, my mom had a brand-new TV. So, it was wonderful. That warranty is still good until 2026. Four years for $50 in this day and age was a great deal. I don't have to keep buying TV. I was thankful for that process because I don't know how it works now with repairs.
The team worked efficiently and was very helpful and stood by that warranty. I felt very lucky because it was just thrilling to know. The TV fits on the same mount. It wasn't heavier even though it was slightly thicker in the back. So it was easy for me to mount. I got thin TVs because I'd like to be able to do it by myself. I don't wanna have to hire someone to put it up. There are some new mounts that are making it easier. So you pop it on. I've been able to do those over the years. But so far, everything has been great with my mom's TV. And I appreciate the warranty coverage. My sons were surprised because Allstate was sitting with me when I was making the phone call. They think in terms of cars or homeowners so that surprised them. I've shared it and I told my mom, she was happy about it too. Allstate has got a great name.
I used to have car insurance for years and I'm glad that they've expanded to this because it was helpful. I'm hoping that they make money where some of the TVs last for four years and some TVs sometimes don't. The TV was weird. Half of it was getting darker. My sons noticed it but my mom didn't notice it the first week. So it was perfect timing by the time the actual TV arrived to replace it because the right side was almost completely black. So, I'm very happy. A lot of people are like me and never get a warranty. I'll never get it for small items, like a $50 item but for an item like a TV that I use every day, I'll get it. I would encourage my family to do the same thing. So I'll mention it to my family and my siblings.

I got an Allstate protection plan for a nursery furniture set. I had to submit a claim for teeth marks around the rail. I did it online. I had to submit some photos. They wanted the area that was damaged. Then they wanted the furniture and the position where it was. It was easy to upload the photos. They reimbursed me for the price and then I was able to keep the item. Allstate did well.

My experience with them was incredibly frustrating. Despite setting up an appointment, the technician didn't show up for a week due to a delayed work order. Then, they struggled to find another technician, leaving me to find my own. After waiting for out-of-stock parts, my washer was finally fixed, but it been four weeks and still didn’t get reimbursed. Each time I call, they blame the previous person I spoke with for not processing correctly. It's a hassle, but I suppose that's par for the course with insurance—quick to take your money, slow to pay out claims.

The washing machine was leaking water from underneath. We went back to our paperwork from when we purchased the washer and the protection plan through Costco and began filing a claim online. The initial claim process was relatively easy. In filing the claim, we started online, and then once we completed the initial details, they told us to call a 1800 number. Once we called that number, they were pretty quick to dispatch a bunch of parts and get a technician scheduled. But unfortunately they sent the wrong parts. So our claim hasn't been fully resolved yet. They have to order new parts and they should arrive today. The technician should be coming out either later today or tomorrow to fix that.

We purchased a TV and we got the extra warranty from Allstate. The price was great. I called them and I filled out a deal in my email and they sent us another TV. But the only problem I had was that I would like to have picked my own brand, which was the Phillips that I got my extra warranty on. I got a Pioneer. But the color was a little bit better on the Philips.

The backspring broke on the L-shaped sofa and it lost its cushion strength. Also, the cushion layer at the top was broken. Everything was scratched and the top layer was ripping apart. I submitted a claim initially in January but that was closed without the resolution. And later, a part of the sofa broke and since I have a toddler at home, it was very risky. So, I raised the claim again. It was very hard to reach SquareTrade but I ultimately got a hold of someone and they raised the claim over the phone for me. They scheduled a meeting with the furniture company and today, someone from the furniture company came and reviewed the condition of the sofa. They said they would inform Allstate. I think it's SquareTrade now. So, Square Trade will get back to me on what has to be done. Unless they give all the parts, they won't be able to fix it. So, I have to wait for them to take the final call.

I wanted to get my cracked cell phone screen fixed. I bought cell phone protection/warranty almost a year ago. The insurance company offered to fix it or give me a payment for it. The process was easy, quick, and satisfying. The website was easy to use. I am extremely happy with the outcome.

The screen on the HP All-in-One stopped working, called and opened a claim, sent it out and a few days later received a Email saying it was being shipped back and is repaired. Still waiting to receive the computer and confirm it is repaired and working. Hope it will arrive in the next 2 days and works like new again. Will see in a few days.

My granddaughter's Beats stopped working on the right side, within 10 minutes of filing my claim it was approved and within three days I received an answer and a gift card towards a new pair because they were beyond repair. My granddaughter was very upset and did not want me to send them away, because God knows she can't live without them. Within a week I ordered the last pink Beats and received them within a week. It took a few days because I needed to contact the company that I bought the tv from to get a copy of the receipt before the claim could move forward. And then I needed to find the numbers but after that it went quickly. I had to do the troubleshooting things, once that was done the claim was approved and four days later the new tv was delivered.

The refrigerator stopped dispensing water and making ice. I called and spoke with a service advisor and followed the instructions given. Three separate maneuvers were performed and water flow was not restored. Technician arrived 4/10/24, replaced the electric switch and water flow has been restored. The technician arrived in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

I have a claim for my sofa but the online claim form didn't have what my specific issue was so I just listed what was available. My claim was immediately denied. I need to speak to an actual person to see if my issue is covered. The online form does not allow any details or an alternative problem. My sofa has a defect in the fabric.

After finding my account it took several people to get to the point of repairing my freezer. At first they wanted me to try and do self repair. It was my insistence that I wanted a repair technician. It took awhile for the company to agree. So thank your cooperation at last.

This is unresolved. They offered to replace our TV with a poorer quality and less feature model. Still waiting to hear from them on what they will do about their poor choice. They say they are offering "choices", but only sent the one low quality one. Hoping to hear from them soon.

The whole process was easy, the time between the 1st call and receiving the replacement was about two weeks. The first replacement choices were wrong, so I called back same day and within 2 days received the correct TV choice. This was by far the easiest process for dealing with an insurance company I’ve ever had.

The ice machine went out, stopped working. Called Allstate and they were ready to help in a Hurry. Was not able to get it fixed but they had my check for a new one in my hands in under a week. Awesome service. Would highly recommend Allstate for your peace of mind in taking care of your expensive investments.

The initial call and quick response were awesome! I was told I would be receiving parts in the mail and to NOT open them. I was told I would be receiving an email to schedule a date and time for the repair once the parts were delivered. I received the email with a link to schedule but neither of the links worked. I replied that the email didn’t work and received an apology. The person said someone would be contacting me to schedule the in-house repair. Today, I received another email saying the repair was already scheduled on a day I am working and the timespan is 8A-5P. I work that day from 7A-7P. Well, I guess I found the weak spot, everything was going too smoothly.

Ceiling fan stopped working and I filed a claim and it wasn't a couple days later but I had a check coming in the mail. Already got my new fan. I'm a happy camper. I highly recommend protecting your Investments with an Allstate Protection Plans. I'm sure glad I did. If not I would be sitting here with a non-working ceiling fan however that's not the case.

One and a half years ago, I purchased an extended warranty for a fitness tracker. Unfortunately the tracker quit working after the manufacturer's warranty period so I submitted a claim to Allstate. They were very responsive, approving resolution the same day. They went out of their way to make me whole. I would use them again if given the chance.

I purchased a protection plan from Allstate for my phone. I'm clumsy. I dropped my phone a couple of weeks after getting the insurance. It was really quick to submit a claim, pay for it, and then it took a couple of hours to get the money. I just did the process through their online chat. They emailed me because I submitted the claim and it didn't go through the first time. So, I had to resubmit it. But after that, there was no issue. I'm keeping the insurance because I'll never know when my phone is gonna break again.

I bought the insurance plan at Walmart for my Samsung phone. I called Allstate because I have a cracked screen and I never got the Walmart card from them. They told me they were gonna mail me the card but they never did. But when I sent in the claim, the reps were really thorough and very nice. They were awesome.

We always do extended warranties on our appliances, and we got one from Allstate for a freezer. The freezer broke. It just quit cooling. The claim wasn't hard to file, but the things that we had to do in order to get them to do it was weird. But other than that, it wasn't that bad. Everybody was friendly but they're not very knowledgeable. The freezer was broken and wasn't cooling at all and they wouldn't file or give me a claim number until I unplugged it for 12 hours and then plugged it back in, which made no sense, where I could have had somebody service it a little bit faster. It was a weird step that they made me go through. Broken is broken. Unplugging it and plugging it back in wasn't gonna fix it.
I had to call my own service company, pay for it, and then wait to get reimbursed, which I thought was awkward, but it was fast. It wasn't too bad but some people might not have the money to lay out and wait to get reimbursed. It was almost $900 to fix it. I've had extended warranties before in the past and I've never laid out money upfront. Usually, the warranty company pays for you.lem. [He means yes.]

I have a few things under Allstate, and I just had to file a claim for my Oculus that wasn't charging. I took it someplace and they fixed it for free. I didn't have to use the claim as it was. I canceled it. As far as submitting the claim, everything was online. It was a little confusing because one of my claims is an Oculus. When I bought it, it's listed as Oculus, but they sent it to me and it said I can get my bike fixed and it's not a bike. Also, when I bought my Oculus, I forgot to add my warranty on it. So, I went back and bought the warranty hours later and added it on and I was charged $50 because the Oculus was so much. It was up to 399. And then, when they sent me my warranty it was only for 24.99. It was a different amount. They weren't gonna cover the whole Oculus.
So, I spent a couple of hours online with Allstate and they still didn't fix it. Verbally, they said they fixed it. They were like, "Ok, okay. Yeah, we'll change that." I said, "Well, can you send updates and send it to me?" "Sure." I never got that. I was on the phone with the rep for over an hour and sent him everything. They kept telling me my warranty was wrong. I have three warranties. I have three Oculus and they kept saying, "No it's right. It's right here." I sent them receipts for all three Oculuses and all three warranties and they were still telling me that I was wrong. Overall, Allstate is efficient, and the process online is easy but they got difficult customer service.

I purchased quite a few protection plans through Allstate and I had to use one warranty on a SaluSpa hot tub. I was satisfied with the service that they gave but after the claim was done, I had another vacuum that I needed to file a claim on and even though the claim for the hot tub was complete, it was still saying that I couldn't file a claim because they're still in process. And that's been going on for a while. Other than that, the claim was quick and painless. Allstate paid back the amount that was supposed to be there. It was a good service and I was glad that I bought the warranty. The price is fair and usually, it's a good deal.
I've tried to go to Allstate’s website though and they don’t have the warranty very accessible to where you can purchase it separately. I tried to purchase it for a couple of other things and I never could locate anything. The only way I could find it was if eBay, Walmart and other retailers offered it. Also, the payment card process was a pain because they give you an app for the payment card but the way that it was processed, it would never correctly go to the app. So I had to constantly go back and go through the email to get what the balance was on the card that they sent in for it. That's something Allstate needs to look into. I had to call and go through customer service the first time and get that sent again. Finally, I had an email where I had to go through extra steps because their app wasn't working correctly.

I made a phone call because I noticed that our gaming monitor wasn't working. Allstate asked me to verify the information on the plan and the receipt. They looked it up and found it, then they asked me to do a couple of things with the monitor. I plugged it in and wiggled it. They also asked if I got a new cord, and I said, "Yes, all of that," and right away, they offered me a voucher. They asked me what would I like, if I would like it deposited into my account or a Walmart voucher, a prepaid Mastercard or a Visa card. I chose the Walmart voucher because I went and got a new one. They sent the voucher, and within a minute or two, I had it in my email. Everything was done perfectly. The monitor was almost $200, and I only paid like $27 for the warranty. It was cheap.

I had two tablets I put a protection plan with Allstate. Recently, I had my son's tablet sent out for repair. They sent it to the wrong address in Texas and I'm in California. I gave them my address multiple times, and they confirmed it. However, it ended up going to the other spot and they were telling me they didn't how that happened. They were asking me if I was able to go pick it up. When I asked for a refund, they said they had to look into it to see if I qualified for it since the tablet was already issued out even though it was sent to the wrong location. I asked them if I could get the refund electronically but they told me they had to mail a check. They said they sent me an email, but they never did. I called after two weeks and that was when I finally received it. But it was exhausting trying to get my point across. It took them over a month to get me the money back for the tablet.
One of my kids' tablets when it got sent to repair, they sent me another tablet, a similar one since the other one had damage to it. On the second day that I got it, my son was trying to hold the screen and it turned black. It wasn't new. It was another one they already had as a replacement. I barely got the money back for the other tablet that was sent to the wrong address and I have no working tablet at the moment. When you're calling them, sometimes it seems they're on the right page. Sometimes it feels like they're trying to rush through the conversation to finish the call.

It's so easy to purchase an Allstate protection plan through Walmart, whether it's in the store or online. I just click it. They will have it. It shows right there and it tells me everything. I've used the protection plan, and it's been easy, except for the part where I have to find the item number. It's a long number, and I don't know it, so I have to go back and either write it down or copy and paste it if the system lets me. Allstate has always fixed my issues.
I like to buy the protection plan because it gives me security for the future. If something happened, it's gonna get taken care of, whether they can fix it or not. I've been purchasing from Walmart for years, and I've never had a problem with the protection plan. If they can't fix something, if anything, I know that they'll give me back the money for the original price I paid. I bought a Switch a long time ago and something was wrong with it. They couldn't fix it, and they gave me my money back. I used it towards the new version that came out. I just had to put in a little instead of a full price, and I was super happy about that.

I purchased 6 inexpensive outdoor chair pillows from Big Lots. I purchased the 3 year All State warranty because the items were inexpensive and I figured if they weren’t a great quality I could submit my warranty and get new pillows. My pillows faded even without being in sun. I submitted 6 claims one for each pillow. My first two were easily approved and I was sent a check for them. The last 4 were questioned by their audit dept and I was asked to submit photos and a description. Did all of that. I was then asked to call them, nobody would respond via email with any explanation.
I called and spent a long time answering more of the same questions. Was told I would get an answer via email. My answer was that it was declined. No explanation! I replied to the email asking why? They told me to again call them. I spent $19.20 on each his the 6 pillows and an additional $2.99 for each pillow for the warranty. Give me a break! I’m not trying to pull some major fast one! The Money is no longer the issue, it’s the horrible me service!

My first call resulted in no help. But the second time I called was great! I received full reimbursement of a faulty printer & was able to use that to purchase a replacement. I only wish I would have called a second time much sooner. I would definitely use this service again, if offered when purchasing another product.

I have been having issues with my touchpad and have done 3 claims on it. The first 2 times they removed the drivers and reinstalled them and the issue came back. The 3rd time FINALLY they said "we will replace the touchpad" and had me send my laptop to their repair place. Then a week later I got my laptop and they DID NOT REPLACE MY TOUCHPAD and they only thing they did was reset my operating system. What kind of repair is that. Now I will have to do a 4th claim as I still have the same issue. My warranty expires at the end of the year and I have been having the same issue since 2023. This is NOT RIGHT AND UNACCEPTABLE.

I purchased a plan for a PlayStation 4, that has began to have problems and proceeded to get worse. It has no physical damage, no drops, spills or anything, and obviously I can not open it up myself because that would void the warranty so I had to send it in. When I did they said there was an issue so they couldn’t fix it but will not be replacing or repairing and are only sending back the defective unit. There is nothing about such an issue not being covered especially if I can not see inside the PlayStation myself to verify that this was the case. So save yourself the trouble and do NOT waste your money on these plans. They will find any and every excuse to deny claims so they don’t have to pay for something whether it stops working 2 days after or a 2 years into the 3 year plan.

Same problem still exists, nothing was fixed. Received back today and connected to laptop and same message appears stating paper jam which is why it was sent in for repair, very frustrating and disappointing. Don't understand what they said they fixed cause nothing has changed other than it going for a ride and coming back the way it left.

Picked up my MacBook Pro (2015 model). One day and it started just randomly turning off and not charging so I sent it in for repair since it’s covered in the warranty (I assumed faulty battery). Super easy, print the label, box it, bring it to FedEx. Done. Got it back about a week later: I turned it on and it had 90% battery, so I figured it must’ve been fixed. However, I got to update it and see that the battery is still not charging, per what shows when I click on the battery itself and it states that it recognizes the AC adapter, but it’s not charging. I unplug the MagSafe cord and the whole thing shuts down, even though it’s at 90% battery.
So I call the customer service line to inform them the problem has not been fixed. She tells me there are photos that prove there’s been water damage. That’s news to me since I’ve had it since December and it’s a refurbished Mac, so I knew there might be issue, but since it’s been in my possession, it hasn’t been anywhere near water (and it’s covered! So I have no reason to lie about it, even if I had gotten it wet). I tell her this, despite her assuming I created the water damage and indicate I’m still having the same issues. She apologizes and says they “fixed” the problem for what it was sent in for, but it’ll need to be sent in again because the original claim did not have water damage listed. Not sure how I’m supposed to know there’s water damage to a laptop I bought in December and was not a result of my action?
I’m already irritated because this is the same day I received it back, so she tells me she’ll put in a new claim and I can send it back to be fixed. I shipped it off this Monday so this’ll be the 2nd time in 2 weeks I won’t have the laptop and I’m not even confident that it’s going to be resolved since the first time it was “resolved” I continued to have the same issue. I shouldn’t have to keep sending something back to be “repaired” when it should’ve been repaired the first time.

Conducted all applicable testing with Allstate techs, and with Vizio techs to determine what, caused the discrepancies. The final results was determined that either a tech would be send out or a replacement. I was called a few days later and told that a check $ would be sent to replace said television. It's been over two (2) weeks and we are still waiting. The service was professional and personnel handling said discrepancy answered our questions.

I made a claim on the phone and it was very easy. The rep was helpful. Four days later, I got a text back from Allstate that my hearing aid could not be fixed and they were gonna refund me my money. They refunded every penny that I paid for my hearing aid. My whole experience was okay, and I didn't have any problem. Having Allstate is valuable because if I hadn't it, I'd have just lost my $1,000.

I used Allstate recently for a purchase from Target. It's for a gaming headset. The jack part that goes into the controller, like the wire broke apart. It was really easy to file the claim. It was a two-part process. I did it online, and then they sent an email to verify the exact product that it was. Their website was easy to put everything in. And it tied directly to the Target receipt, so it was no stress. However, they couldn't find the same one, so they gave me options to pick from. I didn't like any of them, so they gave me the value that I paid to buy a different one.

I purchased an Allstate protection plan for an iPad. I was going to purchase on eBay. I canceled my order for the iPad on eBay and I tried to cancel the protection plan because I would not need it and was unable to do so. They are a scam, and I would never do business with them.

I have been trying to log into my account for three days. When I put in my email and password it takes me to a page that tells me an email has been sent to my address with a confirmation code. I never get the email. I attempted this for three days, no emails in my inbox, spam or junk. I couldn’t find a phone number but I found a link to email them. I sent an email and 24 hours later I got a email back with a phone number. I called them and told the person the issue. They said they would have to transfer me to technical support. 15, FIFTEEN transfers later I got some who said they could help and would also start my claim.
They started my claim and then put me on hold for them to talk to their tech support. After about 30 seconds he came back and told me it was a maintenance issue and it would be working in about 24 hours. A MAINTENANCE ISSUE, FOR THREE DAYS… They also told me to do a password reset by using the forgot my password. I tried that, NO EMAIL LINK SENT. And before you say my email is wrong, while I was on the phone with Nicolas I got 2 mails about the call! These people DO NOT WANT YOU TO FILE A CLAIM! They will do everything in their power to make impossible!

Terrible warranty service. I have had at least 5 phone calls and at least 2 hours of waiting and talk time. I have spoken to people at Allstate and with Walmart. No help from any of them. The first two blamed the other company as the reason for the decline. I sent the item in for repair as instructed. 10 days later I received the exact same package back with no repairs being made. No explanation. Absolutely nothing. The first call was to Allstate (Square Trade). Then after a long conversation claimed I needed Walmart to approve the repairs. 2nd call was to Walmart. They said after a long conversation the decision was aT Square Trade.
On my next call to Square Trade they basically said they couldn’t do anything about it. I requested a call back from a supervisor. No call was forthcoming. I called ST again. They eventually said l needed to send them proof of purchase. They said I would receive a email with a link to send a photo of the receipt. No email has been sent. I am thinking about what to do next. Would one more call get it done? Should I make the call or should I have my attorney make. At this point I believe I should just ask for my purchase of three 12.9 iPad Pro be refunded. I have had all I can take of both of them. I have responded to at least three customer surveys without hearing anything back. Great customer service!!!

I purchased a chair on Amazon and decided to purchase insurance. The chair broke and found it best to just get a refund through the insurance. It was difficult to get the pictures uploaded to them as every time I did it, it said I still needed to do it. Then once that was done, I had to continue with the claim, but it would not work on the website. I called and was given the furniture claim phone #. Once I called, it went fairly easy to finish the claim and get a refund credit on Amazon. Other than the issues going through the steps, it was worth it and would purchase again.

Allstate handled the claim well but, after they put me in touch with Sony Concierge services who would finish the claim they are replacing my LED TV with and LCD and the TV I had was also Energy Star 5 and the replacement is only Energy Star 3, this is very disappointing as I didn't get an extended warranty to get a lower quality TV and use more power than the one being replaced. When I brought these points up to the Sony Concierge they stated that's the only replacement they are offering unless I wanted to pay the difference for a model that matched my current TV's specifics. I will also be bringing this up to Costco's Customer Service once the replacement has been delivered and I can take photos.

Bought a Samsung 55 inch television, WiFi stop connecting so I bought the 4 service plan, but rest assured I got no service!! I continually got sent back and forth between Allstate and Samsung each one of them kept passing the buck to the other, finally got a Samsung guy to come look at tv and he had to be the rudest, most incompetent, most impatient customer service person I ever Encountered. Nobody had answers for me!! Extremely disappointed in the service provided!

Allstate told me they were sending me a check to reimburse me for the headphones they could not repair. They said they sent a check to the wrong address. I asked them to void it and send another. They confirmed that they were doing it, and that I'd receive it in 6 business days. The check didn't come. I contacted them again and they said they were sending the check in 6 days. It didn't come. I contacted them a third time, same thing. I'm left with no recourse. Just outright lied to.

My claim was to repair or replace or cash payment of my iPhone. The repair option at Apple's Genius Bar was attempted as one of the options offered. However, it turned out to be non-feasible. The repair cost would have exceeded the purchase price and the warranty coverage. I submitted the Apple repair estimate along with an estimate for an Apple refurbished phone. Allstate then promptly mailed a check for the value of the warranty. I received the check in the mail within a week of Allstate's notice of payment. The claim process including communication and payment action exceeded my expectations.

I was very pleased with Allstate protection plan. After 2 years my washer started making squealing noises. Video was sent to company. Service tech. came and checked out washer. The repair cost was more than the cost for the washer. About 10 days later, I received a check to replace the washer.

This makes 5 (five) times we have contacted Allstate / Square Trade in the past month. I bought this particular drone as it has dual Hasselblad Cameras. I also saw it had a 2 year warranted insurance. I also bought it through a DJI (manufacturer) dealer. Weekly (5X), I have been promised a return label and off and on a shipping box. I got my own box, pack it to Allstate / Square Trade instructions, and for the past month it is still waiting to ship due to no label or even a return address. Problem is the telephoto lens won't operate.

My washer can't be fixed. I have a 5 year warranty. I have spent $40 at the laundromat already. I need a new washer??? Where is my compensation. The only good thing about all of this was Kevin the repairman was awesome. A Good guy! I was notified after the repairman left that I would be hearing something in a day or two about compensation. I have heard NOTHING. I think this is a big ripoff. Not heard anything. I need money to buy a new washer. Getting hold of someone to file a claim was also a big joke.

Very easy and quick process. Was satisfied with outcome of the claim and it was a hassle free process. Replacement phone works very well and would recommend getting a protection plan on any device or items purchased. The issue I have with this process is that I was not offered comparable replacements for my item. The replacements did not have the main feature of the item I was replacing. I called and was told there was no comparable replacement, so I could just get a refund instead. This ended up being fine, but it took me a bunch of emails back and forth and a phone call to get this. It feels the company is just trying to save money by offering cheaper replacements than the actual item being replaced, and making customers go through hoops to get a fair value.

I purchased a bike from a retailer and bought the warranty. My bike had issues after a month of buying it, so I filed a claim. I was told that I could pick my form of reimbursement and could get a check, digital debit card or retailer gift card. I picked the digital debit card because it's faster and more convenient. After my claim was approved, I was told that I could only receive a check. Classic bait and switch! I still haven't received my check, and I was told it was sent out over a month ago. I never wanted a check to begin with and I've asked repeatedly to change my form a reimbursement to the digital debit card that I originally wanted, however, they refuse to do it and tell me I can only receive a check. WHAT COMPANY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD KEEP SENDING OUT CHECKS BY MAIL THAT HAVEN'T BEEN RECEIVED?!!

I'm satisfied with Allstate. Everything was done over the phone. My television has a discoloration on the left side, and I had to take pictures and submit them. Based on the pictures, they made their decision not to cover it. They said it could have been damaged because of the moves that I made and I didn't realize it. Overall, the process wasn't bad, and I realized that it probably was damaged, so I agree.

I lost count at how many calls I made trying to get my phone fixed. A replacement was sent and couldn't get it to work either, they also sent me the wrong color phone. The techs I spoke to could not figure out what to do. At this point neither the old or new phone worked. I spent 4 days on the phone and I literally spend a total of 7 hours on chat, still not working because not too many attempts were made and was locked out. Had to wait 24 hrs. Went to Verizon and they fixed it in 10 minutes. We've been with Verizon for decades before it was Verizon. I hate the color you sent me. It is not what I bought. Not sure why I wasted time writing this since a computer will just store it. Maybe you should have sent a 15 for all the hours and days that were wasted. VERY, VERY UNHAPPY.

We file claims all the time on warranties, and Allstate, by far, has been the easiest. The website was so easy to navigate, and it was very self-sufficient. I didn't need anybody to be able to do it. I purchased a ride-on car, a bike and a scooter for a kid. And all of them, I put a protection plan. I filed a claim online for the ride-on car and it went smoothly. They gave me a payout option but it wasn't quite enough because it was 270, and they gave me 196. But Allstate Protection Plans is good to have.

I bought an iPad 10th generation back in November as a Christmas present for my son at Target. Being young, we decided to get the Allstate Protection Plan with it. The iPad fell off the table and landed face down on the tile and cracked. The claims process was fairly easy. I just had to upload my receipts and describe what happened. Then they sent me a shipping label to print out. I just had to take the iPad to a FedEx location and it got sent off. I did everything online. The process was pretty easy since I had a receipt. Then I got an email from Allstate saying it had been shipped, and another email saying that they had received it. I got an email yesterday saying that they were able to repair it and were shipping it back. It should be here by Monday.

A microwave wouldn't power on. Allstate Protection Plans' website was easy to navigate. Allstate said since it would cost more to have the microwave repaired, they sent the money to have it replaced.

My son complained that the laptop screen was snowing. We couldn't see the screen good anymore. There was a fuzz and lines going through the screen. I went to the website, uploaded the receipt, voiced the reason for the complaint, sent the email, got a confirmation, and the next day or two, Allstate Protection Plans sent me an email requesting me to send the laptop back and sent me a return label. I sent it back. After I sent it back, the next day, they told me that they already got it and fixed it. The next day, they sent another email saying it was back on the way. Allstate is a great plan. The experience was professional, knowledgeable, understanding, and never time-consuming.

From the very beginning, it seemed like whenever the vehicle was cold, the ignition coils weren't working. And as it started getting colder, I had a hard time starting the vehicle. But ever since I swapped the ignition coils out for the new ones, they have been working good. The vehicle doesn't have issues starting up anymore. I got the maximum money back from the claim but the prices of the new ones were a lot higher than the original ones. So, I had to pay out of pocket for that. But Allstate helped me out and the customer service reps answered my calls and emails quickly.

I had a great experience. I have moved from New York to Ottawa since purchasing the item in question and, given the relocation, instead of demanding me to ship the item in for repair, a cash settlement was offered, which was an easier and more efficient solution for me. Thanks again Allstate!

I've bought two of these plans with purchases and my experience has been great. Most recently, I bought a used fitness apparatus on eBay which developed problems through normal use. I was able to fairly easily file a claim -- and Allstate is reimbursing 85% of my purchase price! There was a little back-and-forth to get the claim right but it's paid off and I'm very satisfied with the company.

Claim was handled quickly, given a website to find certified repair near me, but there wasn't one in 100 mile radius. As soon as I let the rep know, he quickly got approval to reimburse. The Samsung Television I purchase from Walmart in January 2023 had multiple issues to include power on/off problems, internet connectivity issues and other issues that would not connect to APPS that were installed by Samsung (HULU, Netflix, YouTube etc.). Samsung did a remote diagnostic test in November 2023 - while under Samsung Warranty. The remote troubleshooting experience was unsuccessful - and took more than a two hours on the phone with a technician who had extremely poor English skills. In February 2024, I contacted Samsung again. I went through the same exact process to troubleshoot the issue with a non-english speaking technician. This was a complete waste of time. Samsung told me that anything beyond November 2023 was simply a courtesy on their part.
I filed a claim with Square Trade (Allstate). The technician at Allstate wanted to go through the exact same process troubleshooting the issues. (3rd time.) After receiving poor service from Allstate, I contacted the CEO of Walmart and informed him that the Walmart Protection Plan they sold me was a complete a rip-off. Of course after telling the CEO at Walmart that I was going to sue them in Small Claims Court, a brand new Samsung Television showed up at my front door the next day - Imagine that! My advice: If you do spend money on a Square Trade protection plan through Allstate, and you do have some type of issue with the product you purchased and need to file a claim.... prepare to be put through hell.

The fast boil electric kettle was purchased and did well for 17 months. The protection plan was purchased to cover in case there was a problem. The protection plan is the problem. It wants to re-place the energy saving fast boil kettle with a much less efficient stove top kettle. Not the same. The idea is to not use the stove top. Greatly disappointed. Watch your reviews.

Tired of it calling and nothing happens. Allstate passed it off to Costco. They dropped the ball or the firm they hired did. Very disappointing. I spend tons of money at Costco and normally they are great.

Sent it it to get fixed, it was not fixed, pictures are still fuzzy and now they are black when you take a picture.. The first picture I took turned out after that every picture I took was mostly black. The person I talked to could not tell me how come the camera was not fixed properly, and that it came back worse.

I sent the product on the 19th of February. I looked on the 21st, and saw that Allstate had received it. However, they did not give me an update. I asked on the 26th for an update. They told me to wait until the 28th. I asked again on the 28th. They said that parts had been on back order. They told me to check back later. I asked again the next day, the 29th. They said that the repair was done and that they had shipped it. However, like before, I got no update or shipping label. I had to talk to a chat person in the "need help" thing on the bottom right. I asked for another update on Friday, the 1st of March. Someone said that they would put in a request for an update.
I finally got the first update on Tuesday, March 5th, that my item was repaired and had shipped. I checked the FedEx number. It said that you had shipped it out a few days prior. Once again, no update. I am the one who had to reach out to get an update. You returned my laptop to me broken. It cannot turn on on its own. When I plug in the power cable it turns on without me touching anything and lets out a loud beep. Unplugging it turns the laptop off.

I was happy at first when I sent my item off to get repaired and tablet was sent back working. I've charged the item on the account if it did not arrive to me dead so it had some charge so it easily charged all the way. The tablet died last night all the way and I have spent all day trying to charge it and power it on. No success so I went out and bought a new charger still nothing. Now they want me to ship again for the second time which is ridiculous. Just send me a used one or something my 5 yr old goes crazy without his tablet. I am highly upset and dissatisfied

I Purchased, an adult electronic scooter from Walmart, along with a protection plan for two years that is provided through Allstate/SquareTrade. Scooter failed to operate within less than six months of having it. Went through the process of putting in the claim. Was told it was accepted but that I would need to contact the manufacturer first before putting in a claim through the insurance. They gave me the phone number for the manufacturer which was not a good working number, called them back. Told him it was not a good working number. Then I proceeded to put in my claim through the insurance. They told me I had the option of getting it repaired locally by someone or a replacement. I agreed on replacement. He then proceeded to tell me I would receive an email with a photo of an equitable scooter within 5 days and I could either accept offer or not.
At which time I then received a photo of the exact scooter I purchased at Walmart showing me that it was available for purchase online and if that was OK. I agreed. Then five days later called to find out the status on the order only to find out it is not been ordered yet at all, The person did not know why and said that out that was not their department but that it should be ordered the following day. I called back the following day to make sure it was ordered. Was then told that it was not going to be ordered because they were no longer able to find one available online. I told them that was it an absolute complete lie because they had provided me with a photo of the one available at Walmart and I verified it myself by going on walmart.com.
They insisted that it was not available and that the only thing that they were able to do at that time was to give me a refund for less than what I purchased for the scooter, via an electronic gift card, and in multiple payments, not even one lump sum. And for less than what I paid, and in multiple pymt firms and methods. Completely odd. To me it sounded like Allstate contracted an agreement of sorts to this 3rd world country to handle all these. And this is the manner that they’re doing them. I did you ask for a manager to escalate the issue and was only tossed around on some telemarketing floor buying out of the country 16-year-old girl it sounded like who couldn’t even verify the name of the corporation she supposedly worked for.
This third and final girl I spoke with, was supposed to have found find out who her manager was and have them contact me the following day. And then received a voicemail the following day by sounds like the same girl, stating the exact same thing over again, they could not find a replacement and the only option was to receive a refund for less than what I purchased for it via e-gift card, and mail. Absolutely criminal and Allstate should be ashamed to have their reputable name involved around any such scam, unless they are involved and aware, and which they probably are! It’s a scam, absolute criminal activity and they all should be criminally prosecuted .

We had the repair scheduled in the window from 10a-1p. At about 9a I got a call that it would have to be in the 12n-3p window. I said I had an appointment and had to leave by 3, and the person said it would be ok. I went on the appointment and returned home at about 5:15p, and the repair person still had not shown up. Finally he came at about 5:20, but it took about 50 minutes for the repair because the tech didn't know how to get the defective part off. Finally, at about 6:10, he finished, and the refrigerator light was fixed. I wish SquareTrade was organized.

When I started to noticed a color spot on my TV, I knew that wasn't right. I made a claim to Allstate and they were very help on helping me troubleshoot the problem. The protection plan only covers certain issues. Please be careful when purchasing this plan. I had a RCA TV that I paid about 235$ for plus 25$ for protection. Here it is 3 years later and my TV is now giving me problems which the cord is burning out. It keeps getting hot on every plug in so to keep my home from catching fire I've completely unplugged it. Also the back of the TV gets extremely hot. The rep I spoke with told me it was my fault for plugging my TV into my wall sockets.

The process of filing a claim, getting approval, getting a repair lined up and then parts delivered to our house was excellent. Service level by tech was less than desirable. Tech showed up a day earlier than our scheduled appointment. Arrived at our home with no identification (shirt, logo on truck etc) that ID’d him as a repairman. He did repair washer quickly. Told me he was done and walked out with whatever parts were leftover.
I then ran a test load and realized that washer was filling basin with hot water when knob was clearly turned to cold. I called him back. He returned, made some adjustments and told me it was good. A few minutes later I noticed water puddling in the laundry room on the hardwood floors. Checked out the issue myself and realized that now both supply lines on the back of the washer were dripping. I called the tech back and he said “he thinks he finally fixed it”. So far, I’ve not had any additional issues, but I’m not holding my breath. I would 100% like to see better techs contracted with for any repairs that are scheduled in my home. Had I not noticed the issues right away there’s a good chance our floors would be ruined.

Instead of processing a refund of the purchase price of phone I was coaxed into choosing from a range of similar phones. These phones that your offering would be less than my old phone. This phone was bought at Walmart and their in store phones use Verizon towers on the Straight Talk network. I chose to receive a check mailed to me for the purchase price of the phone. I can take that and choose another phone at WalMart.

I still have not received my visa card with over $50 in value due to my claim being approved. It's been 2 weeks. I am sick and tired of wasting my money on protection plans that are not honored by the company. This Allstate is a joke and shouldn't be sold to people if they are not allowed to use it within the first year anyway. I'm going to file a complaint with the superintendent of insurance for failure to pay on this claim. You need to fix your system and honor people's claims as it says you should in the information given about the protection plan at purchase.

My grandson earphones cracked/broke when he was putting them over his head. He tried gluing them back but it didn't work. Although the crack/break in the headphones is clearly visible because he glued them they were sent back without repair saying that they had been tampered with. Anyone can see that the glue didn't cause any extra damage.

They were sending a check for me to buy a new phone but it's going to take a week. I'm glad I had an old phone to use otherwise I would not have anything for a week. I am happy they are giving me more than what I could have gotten from a kiosk but not sure it's worth it unless you have a back up phone.

Your overseas call center leaves a lot to be desired… Give them a call yourself… It is obvious your executive team has not had the opportunity to experience what your clients go through.. The call center had some folks that are fluent in English and others that are not. It is very frustrating to explain every time you call what the situation is. Your local service people are very good..our service person was based near our home and was very personable.

I filed my claim quickly and easily and selected an approved repair center. This is where the process fell apart. The repair center wanted to refer me to a different business. When they couldn't help, I called the original place who referred me again to another location of their same business. That location then referred me to yet another location. When I finally got my screen replaced, it was not an OEM screen and I lost my fingerprint reader, have an underperforming screen, and it has drastically reduced my battery life. I was directed by Allstate to deal directly with the business to resolve the issue. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the repair center to confirm that they will/will not be able to resolve this problem by getting an OEM screen for my device.

This was the 1st time I filed a claim on behalf of a large purchase. I recommend the extended warranty (mine was three years) for the price of 89.00$ for the 1000.00$ generator. The company we bought it from hem-hawed for over a month only to tell me that I was to file a claim with Allstate. Lost time. Called Allstate, and they said file the claim online. Easy instructions, by the way save your sale receipt of item and the extra insurance. I am telling you what, Allstate had my claim done within a day and we are pretty please with the outcome!

The process was not difficult. When I first contacted Allstate, they provided a debug sequence. Once this was preformed, and the information sent to Allstate, they recommended replacing the TV. I was able to select my replacement from a few possibles. That process was easy and the new TV arrived in under a week. I was pleased with the whole process.

I just called and within the same day, they sent me the gift card for the amount for the phone so I can still purchase a new one. Allstate's customer service people were good because they understand. They wanted the phone sent back to them. I was like, "My son needs a phone in case of emergency." They said, "Okay. We'll just give you a gift card," and that was what they did.

I have been buying Square Trade warranties for as long as they have been available.. They are so affordable and always come in handy. I have had several items repaired and a couple replaced. This item was my Surface Pro 7. It was stressing me out because it was not always charging. I knew it had to be the charging port on it because my husband has the same computer. Chargers that will charge his computer would not work on mine. I was beginning to think one day it would not charge at all. I began the claim online, then was told to call. The representative told me to send it in and sent me an email that contained a shipping label. I was informed when it arrived at the repair facility. I was informed a few days later that it could not e repaired and they would be sending me a replacement. A day later I received it. Every claim I have had (probably 4 or 5) over a span of over 20 years has been seamless.

My experience with Allstate has been good. Every time I request about my protection plan, they respond quickly and they make it easy to claim it. The knob of our Switch was loose and it fell off. We requested to get it fixed. We got it back, and after a week my son was using it, he came to me and said, "My Nintendo is not turning on." I said, "It needs to be charged." He charged it but he said it would do the same thing. We sent it back and everything went through and easily. Their customer service is good. Every time I send an email, they'll respond quickly. They make it easy for the customer. The first time I requested repairs, they sent me an email quickly and the instructions and the label too.

I filed a claim on a rechargeable battery for my cordless drill in January, and supposedly everything was said and done. They said they would send me a check, but I never got it. I called them a couple of days ago, and they're having problems with their computer. So the rep told me to call back in a couple of hours, and I forgot. I called today, and they claimed that the check is being sent out and I should get it within six business days.

Last week when I tried to use my laptop computer, It didn't even start. My wife and I thought, "Oh my God we are going to have a Big Bill if we send it for repair". The timings of claim processing was impressive, but the replacement was unsatisfactory. It was replace with a smaller air fryer, no choice given to choose a larger quart size for food. The replacement is for a single person, not as large capacity like the Gourmia which was 6-quarts. It would have been a good experience if the replacement was the same capacity as the original Gourmia size.

I have not been pleased with this claim. No one came to my home to look to determine what was wrong with the chair. So whatever the gentleman saw in the virtual call I don't know what resolution he proposed because no one informed me. We had a call. I showed him the power didn't come on and I showed him the back of the chair. I responded to one of the emails where I was informed parts were ordered but I don't know what parts, and I asked someone to call me and have yet to receive a call.

Having Allstate for Walmart electronics is awful! It’s like going in a constant circle and doing duplicate processing attempts for the claims. You're better off going to buy another device because by time you get help or get the claim completed it's pointless OR what you go to have fixed can’t be done because that vendor no longer provides that service.

I have never had a quality experience as I recently received from Allstate Protection Plan, my claim was handled super fast and finished just as fast, there was no bullcrap about dotting my "i"s or crossing my "t"s.... It was as follows, explain what was happening with the coffee maker, make sure all the paperwork and info was correct and the claim was processed and completed in 1 "one" day. That is actually unheard of with any warranty company, all said and done in one flippin day, and no sooner a comparable unit was obtained, it was shipped out and received by me, I don't know what to say, other than keep up the great work, I love the transparency that was open at every step of the way, everything was explained ever step of the way, and the claim was completed flawlessly, BECAUSE of this awesome service, I am now looking into Allstate for my auto and motorcycle insurance. I filed a claim 12/14/23 and it did not get resolved until 2/15/24. I still have not received my second check of the second claim # **. I did not know you had to submit all receipts at the same time on a claim??? I had back orders for my repair which took weeks to get the second repair bill and send in the second bill. It took them 3 months to get the things together after a dozen call and being told the same thing each time that did not work until they gave me a second claim ID number to file the second invoice. You need to state on your claim form to wait to submit all invoices at the same time before submitting a claim!!!!

Purchased a Juice mobile power bank. The instructions required a full charge before use. I charge the power bank about two weeks after purchase. Once fully charged, I tried using the power bank. While out but it did not charge my phone. It showed charging, but phone was losing charge. When I returned home, tried other charging cables but no charges were activating. I contacted Walmart, to return the item, because I had the protection plan I was unable to return. Contacted Allstate Protection Plans, activated my account, provided a copy of the receipt and filed a claim. After 2 years the Element brand tv picture stopped working. My protection plan covered this and Allstate replaced it with a TCL 55" new TV. The tv was delivered on time and the picture is working fine. Allstate representative was very pleasant and helpful in completing the warranty. I highly recommend the warranty protection for TV's.

I had an iPad, one for my daughter and one for my son. The one for my daughter just stopped working and screen said update with iTunes. I tried with my windows laptop which was stressful because iTunes is an Apple product hard to get. I then took it to an Apple Store who tried for a day and dude was super nice. Said it would seem like it was updating then turn off and return to the same screen. I was like darn then I tried my insurance company who uses Allstate Protection Plans for my electronics. I explained many times to them it’s a glitch because it attempts to download the update, turns off and comes back on. They received my product. Stated they couldn’t fix it until I turned of the Find My Location. I doubled check it was off. Even went to Apple Store to ensure I only had my cellphone and my son iPad. They were like it still shows on!
I then stated well I mean it’s broken lol so maybe that’s a glitch. They like welp we can’t help you! Me funny the Apple Store tried and that FML wasn’t on when they tried. The guy states we’ll get them to put it in writing then turns around a states welp it still won’t matter if it shows on, on our end we can’t work on it! I was like so Apple did but you can’t notes! I kindly asked for my deductible because they didn’t do anything and I was mad I spent 10 on a box to place it in! I have notice anything over a certain amount they have every reason not to but my items under $150 no problem. They be refunded without any inspection. Welp I am making sure I find another company who actually lives up to if we can’t fix it we will send you a new one or repair it!

TV began having audio problems after two years. Allstate replaced it with no red tape or difficulty. TV was delivered within two days. Every person I spoke with was very friendly, polite, and helpful.. Something you rarely encounter in today’s world. I recently pursued another electronic device and added the protection plan, which I intend to do with each purchase of this type.

I got my reimbursement and they said they sent the cheque and would receive it within 3 weeks. 3 weeks later I called back to check the status of the cheque and found out that they had not sent it yet. They lied to me many times because I've been checking within 3 weeks but all they keep saying is that they sent the cheque. I will not buy appliances from Home Depot anymore because of their warranty.

I had some earbuds that stopped working, so I submitted a claim via a phone call a year ago. Allstate said I had to contact the manufacturer because it stopped working in such a short amount of time. I was miffed that I had to go through all this extra work, so I put the earbuds aside, waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, and they never responded back. Since I had a case number, I went back to Allstate and started to pick up the claim where it was left off at, and they helped me. I had a little difficulty in understanding the person, but they seemed very competent. Allstate replaced the earbuds but there was a bit of misinformation there. They indicated that they found them and that it would come within a couple of days, but it was a bit longer than that.

I've purchased Allstate protection plans for a lot of things. I have two projectors, two bed frames, a fabric closet, a PS4 controller, an Xbox, also something for a laptop and a couple of phones. I like having that security knowing that if I get the protection plan, if something is defective, then I can get it fixed. The insurance works for me. There were a couple of claims that I made. One of the projectors messed up. So I filed a claim on that and they satisfied that claim. I had a computer and they satisfied that too. The items had a defect to them and they had them fixed. It was very easy to file the claim. Just went online, filed the claim and found my receipt. I found the insurance on the item and then it took no time.
If I get insurance on something like that and they don't offer me Allstate, I'll buy the plan outside of getting it. Allstate is so dependable. I don't have that disposable income. So if something happens, I know that I can depend on that extended warranty working for me. And I'll still have my product. I had a couple of instances where I spoke to them over the phone and they were professional and personable, just all around great attitude. I also did a virtual chat and it went smoothly. I told the rep the problem and he told me what my options were. I chose an option and we got it done in less than 10 minutes too. It's been a great experience with Allstate.

I bought a controller from Xbox and it stopped working after a year. I called in the claim and the experience was not bad. The only thing was it took a minute for Allstate to reply. I sent them an email again and they responded after a few days. They said they would get back to me but no one responded for like a good week or two and then, they just sent the gift card.

My Philips 50-inch TV all of a sudden just went out and wouldn't show a picture. I had the protection plan with Allstate and I went back to my Walmart app and filed a claim. It was a fairly easy process and the reps got back to me right away. They had me submit pictures and the serial number and model number. They’re supposed to let me know if they were gonna replace the TV or scrap it. It’s been about a month. I've been busy and not able to get to the phone so I've been having a lot of missed calls. They have probably tried to contact me.

I was very disappointed to learn representatives are from overseas. Also, difficult to understand the representative although this representative seemed nice. My TV continues to have issues but there are too many steps to get to a representative. It seems ridiculous to have to send in copy of purchase receipt and make redundant phone calls when information already on file with them.

I bought my son's headset and I asked for the protection plan. Then, the microphone wasn't working so I opened up a claim and they said that they were gonna send me three options of headphones that I could choose from, but none of the three was the same one or the same thing that my son had. I asked them if they could replace it with the same item and they said no. They said that what they can do is give me a gift card but then I would have to come out of pocket for the rest. I thought that with the insurance, they will replace it with the same item or give me something similar. But I didn't feel like they were assisting me because they were giving me the runaround and won't give me the same item that I purchased. I got frustrated. What's the point of it? It's a waste of money because I'm not gonna get the same item.

Allstate was great. I recently had to use my plan to get my TV repaired. The sound stopped working on it. It was extremely easy to file a claim. I went online, I started the process, somebody called me, and they sent me a new TV. The customer service was great. The guy helped me tremendously. He walked me through the process. We tried to fix the TV, and then when they couldn't, they just sent me the new TV. Allstate is a great service. It's worth it.

TCL would not honor the mfg. warranty claiming it was a software issue (Roku). ROKU claimed it was a TCL problem because they were the mfg. Finally I contacted Allstate, explained the problem with TCL/ROKU and they jumped right to it and sent me a replacement tv even though they didn't have to because tv was still under mfg. warranty. Great job Allstate.

Once I figured out how to make the claim, it was very easy. I spoke with a rep to confirm everything and was paid via gift card within a few minutes. When I ordered my replacement it was more than the initial refund. They paid that as well. Once I ordered my replacement I took the insurance again.

I had a set of gaming headphones for my son under warranty with Allstate. It quit working and they approved the claim. Before I knew it, I was getting an email saying that they had ordered it and they shipped it. The headphones that they were going to send me was $20 less than what the ones I paid for but I wasn't worried about that. However, when I got the shipping email, they had the wrong address down, which was my old address. So they shipped the warranty fulfillment to the wrong address after I changed it on my claim then chatted with two people and gave them the correct address. I called and their suggestion was to get ahold of Amazon. Seeing how I didn't order it, it didn't show up on my orders on Amazon. And the only thing I had was a tracking number, no order number. I couldn't even use the tracking number at Amazon to find out where it was in transit.
Finally, Amazon was able to track that but then their solution was to give me a refund, which was supposed to go to my Amazon gift card. But I have not yet got the refund because it wasn't an order that I made. So, even when it gets returned, it's not going to come through to me. Amazon says it could take 30 days and I'm upset because I've never had a problem like this before.
Other than that, reaching a rep at Allstate wasn't that hard. But I had an issue in getting them to understand the situation. The last person I hung up on sounded like an Asian woman and she kept going around and around about the fact that the package had to be signed for. But I kept telling her that the last guy I talked to said the solution was to talk to Amazon. All in all, I would let my friends know about this experience but I wouldn't leave out the fact that the other times I used Allstate, everything was smooth and easy. When I had a claim was for another set of headphones, they didn't want to try and refurbish them. They just sent me the money in a gift card to get them replaced.

I bought a bike for my kid and, at the register, the Allstate plan seemed really cheap. So I figured it was a no-brainer since a bike is obviously something you physically use. Recently, the chain on the bike kept falling off. So I submitted the claim to have it repaired. I dug up the receipt and went to the website and it was super easy. It was 1,000 times easier than I thought it would be. So it was super quick. But it just gave me an option to take the payment. So I took the payment and wound up buying my kid a new bike with the money. The Allstate plan was absolutely worth it.

They were very easy to work with. The website is easy to use. I was constantly updated. They resolved my issue right away. I never thought that the protection plan I purchased was really any good. But it turned out to be the best decision I made. I would definitely recommend getting the protection plan offered. Thank you Allstate.

The claims process was very smooth. I just had to answer questions truthfully. Then Allstate reviewed my answers and proceeded to let me know whether or not the claim could be processed and go through. Usually, what happens is they just send me the reimbursement money so I can then purchase the same product. This is probably not good on my part because I keep purchasing the same thing and then having issues. But besides that, I love the product.
This last time, they picked out three products for me to choose from, and I chose. But then they came back and said that they weren't able to get that. So they emailed me the money that I spent on the earbuds initially, and I was able to purchase different earbuds that way. Normally, getting the refund is a quick process. But this time it took a little longer because they were trying to find the product for me. But overall, I'm extremely satisfied with Allstate. They were quick to respond to any questions I had and very informative.

The washing machine wasn't working correctly and I wanted to get a part for it. I couldn't get a part for it to try something. It was spinning intermittently. It wasn't wringing out the clothes. I called Allstate first and then I had to fill stuff out. I had a very good experience with the reps. It's a great company.

I bought a Galaxy tablet. I had it for three weeks and accidentally dropped it and cracked the screen. I filed the claim online and got an email yesterday saying that they sent me a FedEx postal thing, ship it to them for free. So, I shipped it off. Sent it off. Allstate Protection Plans got it yesterday. And I don't know when I would get it back. They just let me know they would evaluate it and decide if they would fix it or give me the money to buy a new one.

I went online and filled out a claim. Then it somehow pulled up my things that I had covered. After that, it said what things were covered, and I put my eyeglasses that was broken and then it asked me to scan a picture of the receipt. So I scanned it, and then it asked a question and they said, “Well, just wait. You need to just wait for two days at the most, usually.” So I waited, and then they sent me an okay, except that I needed to do an electronic signature on something. I did that, and then the next day, they said that I was approved and that I didn't need to return anything because it was not viable.
I don't like filling things out online because I'm 58. We learned typing in school but we didn't learn about computers. So filing online is kind of hard. The first time I did it, I didn't know how to do it. But I went back to Sam's Club and they showed me how to do it. They were real nice. So I was real happy. Allstate's website was easy to understand. The customer service was good. Personally, I would have rather talked to a live person, but it went without a hitch.

My grandson accidentally dropped his Switch and it broke. Submitting a claim with Allstate Protection Plans was smooth, except my grandson had to wait three weeks, which he was not happy about. But it takes time for these things to get through the process. They repaired the Switch. But it ended up not working all the way. It wouldn't accept the disks to read the little games. So, I called them and said, “This is a problem. And he shouldn't have to wait three more weeks to get a working Switch. So, please give me my money back.” They gave me a Walmart gift card, which I've downloaded into my Walmart wallet.

When I would turn on the TV, there were lines everywhere and it would only turn on for five minutes, turn off, and go back to home. Also, every day, it would take even longer for it to turn up. I called Allstate and by goodness, it was covered. I sent them a video and walked them through it. They were very nice and helpful. They sent me a new TV and somebody from Walmart delivered it and set it down in my living room. I was very happy with the service.

I'm guessing it had to be because of the price, but they were unable to find the 'exact pair' despite me being able to find one on Walmart and ordering those with the gift card I was provided with. It was an 'okay' experience, but I'm just glad I was able to get an exact pair like the ones that broke in the beginning.

I completed my claim online. The site was very easy to navigate and the response time was impressive. As someone who cannot see without my glass, I received an answer confirming my claim in less than a day and the check 3 days later. Thank you for making my life a little less stressful Allstate!!!

I recently had a claim on the Char-Griller, which was no longer burning the pellets. It wasn’t getting hot for it. I submitted the claim online where I gave a detailed description of the issue and the date that it occurred. Then, it asked me if I would like a form of payment for it and they gave me a reimbursement for the amount. I'd tell others to go with Allstate Protection. They're good.

When I have a claim, I would go to my Walmart site and click on my protection plan. It would take me to the item and I would put in the model number and what's wrong with the item. Then, it would let me know that I’d get an email or someone would call me. I would get the email or call really fast and mostly, the resolution was a refund of the full price, which I would get within 24 hours. The protection plan is something that's good to have and the service is good.

After over 10 calls, nothing is resolved. Last time I called I was told they would not be able to help repair and I should repair on my own then submit my receipt for reimbursement. They never sent the forms/instructions they said they would send and I doubt I would ever recover this money based on the unorganized mess I already experienced. Complete waste of time and money.

Took going on 4 months to solve these problems... I won't do anything with them again..numerous problems like, power assist quit working, heat and massage quit, padding was breaking down, and the seat springs were broke.. the chair leaned to the right... I don't know why they took so long to come to that conclusion.. I'm handicapped and I need that power assist to help get up.
