    I'm so glad that I decided to get the Allstate Protection Plan for my product.     After calling LG and waiting 48hrs as instructed it was apparent that our dishwasher was not going to repair itself. I then called Square Trade to utilize our 5-year warranty plan. Square Trade was very efficient and assigned a claim number, ordered some parts and assigned an appliance repair shop 1.5 miles away. The parts came in the next day, and I called the assigned repair shop to advise them of the arrival of parts. They could get the repair done on the assigned day and could not tell me of when the repair might take place. Since I had a similar experience with this repair shop on our LG refrigerator, I called Square Trade and suggested a local repair shop in Omaha (about 20 minutes away). Square Trade immediately reassigned my repair to this shop, and they were able to have a technician perform the repairs that same afternoon. Great service by Square Trade and Hometown Heroes Appliance Repair.

    At just under 1 year old this ice maker quit producing ice. I contacted the eBay dealer who said they were sorry but it was only warrantied for 90 days. Thankfully I had purchased an Allstate 3 year Protection Plan and by emailing my receipt for the ice maker and one phone call I received a check for the full amount that I paid for the ice maker! I have had many Square Trade Warranties and they were always the BEST!

    One of my dining set chairs got broken accidentally. It was easier to submit claim online. I attached broken chair pictures. They couldn't order one chair so I got complete dining table and chairs instead as replacement and got to use the old table and chairs as well. Very much satisfied with the claim process.

    I would give 0 stars if possible. They are doing their best to weasel out of honoring claim. They reject all my valid videos I've sent in. They keep stalling and using absurd reasons. I've never been so stressed dealing with a company!

    Allstate doesn’t stand behind protection agreement 2024. Purchased an LG Dryer from Home Depot along with a 5 year Protection plan which was serviced by Allstate / Square Trade. Contacted Allstate/Square trade requesting service for my dryer and was informed:

    1. They did not have service people in the Annapolis Area.
    2. I needed to find my own service provider for the dryer, send the repair receipt to Squaretrade and they would reimburse.
    3. Protection agreement stated they send a service provider and they pay the bill and if appt isn’t scheduled within 3 days home owner receives a 50$ gift card for Home Depot. Neither has happened with 2 weeks passing.

    4. Latest From SquareTrade if I sign their affidavit it they will send me full price I paid for dryer and I can buy a new one. BUT in doing this the pro plan I purchased for 195.00 becomes null and void! They also don’t reimburse for delivery and removal of broken appliance.

    Allstate/Square trade is breaking the protection Plan agreement and also trying to put the loss of the plan on the purchaser because they don’t want to do their job and get my appliance serviced. I have written BBB of CA, gone back and forth with Allstate. Now I am having to take them to small claims court over said matter all for $250.00!!! My Dryer can be easily fixed by a service provider such as Sears home Services which I told SquareTrade but they won’t handle the repair unless I make the call and pay for repair first. Bad business practices. Allstate/SquareTrade not trustworthy. Do not purchase.

    Upon purchase of a 50 inch ONN TV at my local Wal-mart I was told that screen cracking would be covered on the plan I purchased, so when I took the tv home and it was cracked out the box I didn't sweat it much. Lo and behold my oil field job gets me too busy to return it within the store's 30 day window and when I go to file a claim later on I'm simply told that my type of damage isn't covered and I'm out over 200 dollars.

    This is a scam. I would never recommend this to anybody. I purchased a television and got the protection plan and each company the manufacturer the company I purchased a television from and the protection plan keeps put it in on each other. No one wants to take fault and I’m out of $500 because I received a broken TV. Worst experience I’ve had with customer service. I would not recommend this to anyone.

    My experience was absolutely abdominal from start to finish. The rep on the phone kept repeating herself, making me think she didn't know her stuff. Then I had to go thru the hassle of purchasing my replacement battery, and submitting what was asked for by rep on phone and in email for reimbursement by check as I did not want a walmart card. Then told 6-14 days for reimbursement check to come by mail. After 3 weeks I called and my claim had never been processed so I was to wait another 6 days which of course was 2 weeks in coming. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with your process and customer service!!!!

    The replacement was received and it is unacceptable!! The 1 sent is twice as small as the one I purchased insurance for! A replacement should be equivalent to the original item. I always take the insurance out on electrical items and have never had any problems with replacement. I am so disappointed on the claim for my mini fridge!

    Do not get an Allstate protection plan. I paid for a protection for the round about then the technician came took off with the parts that was sent to repair the fridge and never came back. They didn't answer calls or anything. I will never get a protection from them again.

    I must say the whole experience of the protection plan for the PS5 has been horrible as well as the way it was handled. This relates to the experience of when I first sent the device in and it was reported that it was repaired/fixed but it was not. Then the second time I sent it in for repairs it was advised that no issues could be found. I had to file a complaint to get any status, thus when the device was sent back the issue was never addressed, which was the reason it was sent in for repair. Finally, I had to send the device in a third time in order to get a refund for the original purchase amount and the cost of the purchase plan due to the way the claim and process was handled.

    I purchased a 3 year warranty.. My experience has been horrible.. I had my ice maker for about a year.. I filed my claim on April 9, 2024.. I received an email that said.. I will receive an email when a replacement has been found.. Give 2-3 business days... So 2 weeks went by.. No email... I reached out to Square Trade.. Another week or so went by... I emailed them again... Then I received an email with potential options for replacement... I made my decision within minutes of receiving the email.. & responded back.. with my choice..

    I received an email that said my ice maker had shipped a week later.. But NO TRACKING NUMBER!!! I waited about 2 weeks.. Still NO ICE MAKER.. I then reach out to Square Trade again... Telling them I feel they are a scam with no intentions on replacing my ice maker & I feel as if they think I was just going to get frustrated & go buy another while they didn't make good of my 3 year warranty... I then received an email with a number to call & speak to a representative... So the representative couldn't give me a tracking number.. Claim a request had to be submitted for it... She wouldn't even put me through to the department that handles the tracking.. So I ask to speak to her supervisor... He says the same thing.. But offers me a refund... I accept the terms.. Sign the affidavit requesting a refund.. I also was sent an email saying my refund was approved & to allow 5 business days to receive it in the mail..

    Well needless to say.. today makes the 7th business day & no check yet!! It's been almost 2 MONTHS for something that should have taken a couple of weeks.. Smh.. At this point I'm going to get my ice maker or my money back.. Even if I have to get a lawyer... I don't know how many people this has happened to.. But I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one... I have all my emails saved for evidence..

    I won’t buy insurance next time. I would rather pay for the repairs out of pocket and deal face to face with a computer repair shop. Slow confusing service. Aggravating technical requirements to send 11 different image files in separate emails. Needless runaround. They wanted to just replace the charger when the laptop has fried two chargers already. I had to plead with them to actually accept the computer for repair. They asked for images of the computer turned on after I told first rep the thing was sparking and smoking.

    I’ve dealt with at least four different reps. No regard for consumer safety. It's like they wanted me to do the work of a technician. It took a week of messages back and forth for them to even accept my unit for repair and I have to wait on them to send me a box to send it by mail to an unknown service provider God only knows where. Shame on Costco for putting customers through this and shame on Allstate. Also letter says that they won’t cover liquid damage when I have drops and spills coverage. Bait and switch. And they want me to sign a new contract with them accepting vague services with no guarantees.

    I bought a oversized motorized recliner from Nebraska Furniture mart, it cost $1200 and I purchased a 5 year protection plan. The chair died in the fully reclined position in under 18 months. For the last 3 weeks Allstate is saying someone will contact me within 2-3 and they just keep repeating that every 2-3 days. Don't believe the fake reviews. This company is Horrible. Check Reddit to see the unfiltered opinions of real users.

    Purchased a 75" Samsung TV from Costco and purchased the Allstate coverage at the same time. About two months after the Samsung factory warranty ran out the picture quit. Costco concierge service walked me thru the factory resets to no avail. Costco reminded me of the Allstate coverage I had purchased and forwarded Allstate’s number and the purchase receipt for the TV. A claim was filed and a claim number issued. This giant 75” TV now sits off the wall and in our way as we remain on ignore! Do not count on Allstate!

    Poor warranty and very disappointed with the TV warranty this time. They used to be great. It's been 4 days and I'm still haven't got a replacement TV. My wife is handicapped and can't get out of bed so she has to sit there with no TV to watch because Allstate wants to send me a cheap TV when I ordered a brand name TV and they want to replace it with the cheap one but no name brand on when I bought a brand name Philips. I don't understand why they just can't get me a gift card from Walmart so I can just go and get another TV at my local Walmart which would make more sense. I don't feel comfortable having a TV shipped.

    I purchased Allstate for a greenhouse that I bought. Then, I had a claim and I was told that my claim was accepted and that I would be sent out a replacement part or a replacement greenhouse, depending. But a couple of days later, I was sent another email that said they needed pictures so I did. Then, a couple of days later, I received another email that said my claim was denied and that I would be getting nothing. The issue was the material in the windows was very brittle and just in a regular wind blew out. I could understand them not covering that but the one side seam completely split from the bottom to the top. But I was just told that that was the end of it and I wasn't given a contact person. I'd tell others to not get Allstate Protection Plans. It was 30 bucks and it was 30 bucks wasted.

    My experience with Allstate has been good. My game was cutting off randomly and I couldn't figure out what was going on. So, I had to put in a claim to have my PlayStation 5 fixed. I went online through my Walmart app, and it guided me on how to put the claim in. I had to upload a picture of my receipt to the website. It was easy and didn't take that long because I could upload it by just using my phone. Once I put the claim in, it was approved and Allstate sent me an email with the label. I had to provide my own box with the tape and all the packaging materials. So, they just told me what I needed to do. I needed to go about printing the label and where I could take it. Once they received it, the rep went in there and looked to make sure that everything was good. And they cleaned the inside.     Anything high value item, I buy Allstate Protection Plans. Filing a claim and getting it, easy. I had a claim on my laptop screen. I bought the laptop for $650. I put the claim, and they asked me to take to the licensed laptop repair shop. I went there and they gave me a quote of $614. I told them that I bought the laptop for 650. But right now, if I bought the same version laptop, I could get it for 550. But they are ready to pay the repair cost rather than just provide me with a new laptop. They did not allow me to purchase a new laptop. It didn't make sense when they ask me to get it repaired rather than just pay for the new item. Other than that, I would recommend them.

    Our KitchenAid fridge was above 40 degrees again. You had me unplug fridge and let the ice buildup melt. We did and turned it back on and ice quickly formed again. Your agent said it was a sealed system problem and contact KitchenAid on 5/20/24. I said I didn't think that was the problem because you had told me that was the problem in the 2 previous times this has happened. I was told to get Quinco to come out on 5/24/24 to diagnose the problem. Quinco charged $134 dollars which you quickly reimbursed. They found that it wasn't a sealed system problem but the drain in the bottom was clogged with foam from the manufacturing of the fridge and it was not repairable.

    I got a email acknowledging this on 5/24/24 which said: "We are sorry to hear your item could not be repaired and we will proceed with offering an alternative resolution to resolve your claim." Since I had not heard anything further and the fridge is back above 40 already, I called you today 5/31/24. You gave me a new claim number and send it to the replacement team telling me I would get the offer to get reimbursed for what I paid or get a replacement offer in one business day. Agent thanked me for calling in and didn't know why this wasn't sent to the replacement team on 5/24/24 as was mentioned in the email of that day. So now we're expecting the offer to be sent to us on 6/3/24 some 9 days later than it should have been and we will again lose food because fridge is already above 40. We await the offer on 6/3/24.

    My Robot vacuum was shipped in for warranty repair. In the return shipping to me it was damaged by FEDEX. I attempted to file a Damaged package claim and was told the shipper is required to file the claim. Allstate had me ship the now water damaged item back to them then canceled my warranty claiming the item was no longer covered because of the water damage. I attempted to explain that they needed to start a claim with FedEx for the damaged package. They have refused to start the claim. FedEx is insisting that a claim be started by Allstate since they are the shipper of the package. I have been getting the run around from these two companies for over a month and am still out my $200 vacuum. There is absolutely no reason for all of this. I have photos of the package and have documented everything for the case. FedEx agrees it's a damaged package but needs Allstate to start the claim.

    Repairman was late and didn't arrive on time for starters. He said my refrigerator didn't need the icemaker part and took it. He said ice was there and fan was working properly and so the water started to work but ice would work in 3hrs.     I had a reconditioned computer that I got off of eBay which came with a free Allstate coverage for a year. When it had an issue, I reached out to the guy that sold it to me because it had been six months. He told me to talk to Allstate and see what they would say. I called Allstate and they said I had to go back to eBay and get some number. So that took a while because it was a hard thing to get into. I called eBay and they gave me some number. They told me to give that to Allstate, so when I went back, I gave that to Allstate.

    I got ahold of some young guy and he had to talk to his boss. It was a long process. But he walked me through some stuff on the phone. He asked me if it was all right to delete everything and then start over. He reset the whole computer then I had to reprogram everything back in. Then it got all messed up and I just throwed it away. It wasn't worth the aggravation. I'm 81 years old and I don't know about all this stuff. For $200, I'll go buy a new one.

    We paid for a Square trade plan for our Samsung 75-inch TV, 18 months after we bought the TV it failed and since our plan was for four years, we called Allstate Square Trade and expected to receive another Samsung 75-inch TV. What they sent us was not what we paid for when we bought the agreement, what they sent without us having a choice was an LG 75-inch TV and we Hate it. So when you purchase your Square Trade agreement for a certain brand, don’t be fooled into thinking that that is the same brand you will receive if you ever have to file a claim.

    I used the Remus gaming headset for work and it went out on me. People were hearing me, but it was static. So, I filed a claim a couple of months ago. I'm not tech-savvy and I didn't know that I had to follow up on an email. The second time around, they said it would take two to three business days. It'd been seven days at some point and I asked Allstate what was going on. One day, the rep would say, "Well, there was a tracking number. It just never got sent to you. It would be sent to you within 24 hours." But within 24 hours, I got an email that it would be an additional two to three business days. So I got upset.

    There was an issue talking to a supervisor for both days. The first time, I had to pull teeth to get to talk to a manager. Then the second time, when I finally got it fixed, the guy would not give me the manager for nothing. I asked for a supervisor, but they didn't give me anything. I had to keep repeating myself over and over. I told them, "I asked for a supervisor for a reason. It's not like you can't help me. I'm telling you, you can't help me because I've been down that route." Two to three business days is not cutting out for me. I thought I was gonna get my money's worth and just didn't.

    The first time that I talked to somebody, they were unprofessional in how they talked to me and how they wouldn't give me the supervisor right away. On the second day, the guy didn't give me the supervisor right away, but he was a little bit more professional in how he talked to me, even though I was upset. He was still calm and collected the whole time. I ended up not getting my headphones. Allstate gave me a refund. It was a Walmart gift card. Overall, I would recommend Allstate for the most part because they are affordable insurance and it seems like they would get their job right. There's just miscommunication sometimes.

    We were traveling and my daughter had her laptop in her backpack as well as her water bottle.     OS problem, had Windows11 on it (came with W11). Your tech monkeys "fixed" it by loading W10. Then they did a lousy job repackaging it (I sent it in the original box, with its custom packing, which they chopped up and stuffed back into the box). Your shipping company then must have tossed it around like a basketball (google that to see how lousy these UPS/FEDEX drivers can be.) It was returned to me with a broken front to the case, which cannot be replaced (not available) so I'll always be reminded of Allstate's lousy service every time I look at it. Why don't you offer the option of local service upfront, to avoid the shipping and permanent damage that ensues from shippers who don't care about the quality of their service? Why? Why?? Why???

    My screen on the iPhone 11 hasn't been working the greatest and Allstate told me that it was still under warranty with Apple and to go to Apple first. But it’s too old and it was refurbished. So, it was not under warranty at all. So, I don't know why Allstate tried to tell me to go to Apple first. I told them Apple just kicked me back to them and they were unwilling to do anything up front. I would have to just pay out of pocket to fix it and then get reimbursed with Walmart gift cards. I didn't think that was what I paid for. But I got it priced and I can't do it right this second. So, I haven't done it yet.

    I bought a Roomba with a protection plan. I filed a claim and sent it for repair. It came back with a new issue of "charging error 1." I sent it back for "repair" again and it was returned with the same error. I called for a follow up and the claim was denied stating this type or repair isn't covered under warranty and they can done all they can do.     We only had the TV for a month and there was no sound. I sent in a claim to Allstate and I had to call Vizio to let them know that. Why should I have to do it when that's Allstate's job? I pay them to do that. They wanted me to do everything, like call them, let them know what was going on, and then give a call back to them, taking down their name and phone number. When I connected with somebody else, they didn't put it down in the system that that box was already opened when we purchased the box. So they let it go. But they were really arguing with me. At the end of the day, they did what they had to do. But the problem was the attitude that we got.

For the washing machine, I requested a refund for the missing piece. I requested to get a replacement but Allstate gave me a credit reward instead. One of my major issues is engaging in a conversation with somebody over the phone and not interpreting what I'm trying to tell them. But I never had that type of issue with them.

    We have Allstate for several computers and a telephone. We had a claim on one of the computers when one of the kids unfortunately had a coughing spell and spilled their drink. They gave us a credit to get it replaced but on the replacement that we received, one of the keyboards wasn't working any longer after only having it for a couple of months. The keys were getting stuck. We just filed that one and that's being replaced. I filed the claims online and the website was pretty decent. The only feedback I gave them on that was that they should make it a little more friendlier for the elderly population, because you do have to navigate through the page to find the button to start the claim. Other than that, I love to have the extended warranty on any of the products that I purchased because you never know what happens.

    I bought a plan for a PS5 controller through Walmart. When some of the buttons on the controller weren't working properly, we were able to send it in and they were able to fix it then send it back to us. I first started the claim online, then I had to call them and I gave them all of my information as well as what was wrong with the product.     The locking mechanism on my patio umbrella quit working. When it was extended out, it would periodically drop down. I got the umbrella through Amazon so I contacted them. I got an email saying Allstate would be in contact with me the next day but I never got that. It took Allstate a while to get back to me and I had to pursue it further. I went back through Amazon and told them that I had not been contacted. Right after that, I got a call from a representative for Allstate. I sent pictures of what was happening.     I don't have a good experience with Allstate. They're ripping people off. I bought a power wash machine for almost $400. When I bought the protection plan for it, I thought when I'd have a problem, they'd give me another unit or let me buy another one. I took the product to Walmart but they told me it was not them and to go with the third party. I asked, "Who's the third party? I bought it here." They said, "Go talk to Allstate, and they will either give you the money for it or send you another product."

    I called that number, talked to them for over 40 minutes and in the end they said they were gonna send me an email, take the product somewhere authorized to get it diagnosed, pay $100 for the diagnose fee and let them know what the product needed. This is not a warranty. When you buy the plan, the salesman at the store, gives you a really good picture. But now that I have a problem, no one is there to help me out the way that they explained it. I do a lot of things here and there and don't know where I should take this product. They should make an appointment for me, have someone come pick up this item and do whatever needs to be done.

    I purchased a $800 phone for my son. The phone stopped working. He tried to file a claim with Square trade. They wouldn’t let him because I had purchased the phone and the plan.     The experience of when I called was good but I don’t like what happened with what the insurance is doing now, I’ve had to use the insurance a couple of times and both times I filed a claim online and was able to take it back to Walmart and exchange it for something else, now Allstate is giving me 3 choices. None of which I wanted but was closer to what I had, I understand that Allstate can’t give the full value of what it was but they can give a store credit so I (customer) can get something that they want, even if they have to pay more, I don’t know if I’ll purchase the protection plan again and it takes too long. Allstate hasn’t even put in my order and it’s been 1 week, when I filed a claim before I had my new machine in a couple days.

    My iPhone 11Pro wouldn’t power on after dropping it in the shower. I went to the Apple Store to get it checked out. They looked at the phone and said “it can’t be replaced because of water damaged by looking at the front camera." I forgot to get paperwork for this at the time. I contacted Allstate to file a claim. They immediately asked for this paperwork and suggested a local shop closest to my zip code. After getting official diagnosis paperwork for the water damage a replacement iPhone was shipped in two days and gave them a the damaged one. The only complaint I have during this process is the step by step procedures to get it done. It took about three days or a few phone calls to get things clarified. Once things are such as account numbers and initial coverage dates things went smooth but did require some patience.

    I had trouble at first because of my email on record had got hacked and I called them to try and get my email changed to my new email address. It took several phone calls to get that resolved.     My claim took longer than expected. I did the initial claim online, and received a claim number. The website said to take the phone to a specific local repair center. I took it there with my claim number, but the rotator center said they couldn't see my claim in their database. I used the Allstate "chat" feature and was on it for an hour before I was told that they couldn't accept the attached docs in the chat. So, I uploaded the correct documents online to verify my phone purchase, but the first representative said they didn't have the price I paid, or the date of purchase.

    But the documents did have everything needed:
    1: Date of purchase
    2: Retailer
    3: Product model number

    4: Price paid for phone

    I called Allstate and was disconnected from agent when he put me on hold. I then called again and finally got some help. The agent said my docs looked good but that I would have to wait another 24 hours for the final approval. After 2 days, my claim was finally authorized for repair. The repair center "CPR Repair" In King of Prussia was awesome, however. They got my phone fixed in about 90 minutes and it looks great and operates perfectly. I wish Allstate had a faster resolution time and more helpful representatives than the first one I spoke with.

    Samsung Washer WA52AQ5500AV. Purchased at Nebraska Furniture Mart. I purchased this plan in case anything happened that would need to be addressed. I started the claim, it was a waste of time from the start. My washer is making noise as it spins. Started 4 days ago. I've had the washer 2 years 4 months. No damage. Not loud, just whining. Explained it to the CSA multiple times. Was told to take a video of the problem. And we could troubleshoot the issue. I ask WHY am I doing the work, when I purchased this plan from Allstate/Square Trade for a authorized repairmen to come and determine what the issue is. Again, need to take the video for them to identify the issue. The CSA is not state side, nor was the chat agent I tried to talk to. Which could have contributed to the issue of communication. I feel like I wasted my money for this protection plan. Will never purchase anything backed by Square Trade again.

    Horrific company - if you have an alternate choice - choose that! Have spoken to a total of 7 different people after 4 hours of online chat because you can't get a phone number to talk to anyone until after you jump through stupid insignificant hoops. ALL of them had different information - not one person - had same info including supervisors. Everything is to be done on your own including the diagnosing! I paid to have an easy experience in a frustrating event of an appliance not working instead the easiest thing so far is the washing machine is broke. The representatives are useless and incompetent. I may be stuck with them but I will sooner go without an appliance than ever deal with these imbeciles.

    Purchased a warranty on our LG tv when we purchased it from Sam's Club less than 2 years ago. The picture won't come on. I called SquareTrade to start the claim. I submitted my pictures and videos. They sent the parts to my house two days later. They sent me a link to schedule a repair appointment and it did nothing. I called SquareTrade back and they manually made the repair appointment for Friday from 1pm-5pm. I received an email about my appointment confirmation.

    When I clicked on it the appointment confirmation it showed 8am-12pm which was not the appointment timeframe that I requested. I have tried for 2 days to get in touch with the technician. SquareTrade gave me the technician's phone number and literally every number I push at the prompts just lets me leave a message. They have a phone number on their message that says you can text it. I have tried texting and leaving messages...no one returns phone calls. I have yet to speak to an actual person at the technician's office or the technician.

    I received an email from SquareTrade yesterday and when I clicked on the link it said "Important: Please contact the technician to re-confirm the appointment The technician may also contact you in case of any updates". Again...same phone number that no one answers and no one returns voicemails. So I called SquareTrade again and asked them to confirm my appointment. SquareTrade said they would email me.

I called SquareTrade and told them the tech was a no show for my 4 hour window this morning and they said "give the technician until the end of the day and if they haven't came then call us back". Ok cool so now this has turned into an entire day off of work with the possibility that a technician will show up. I have a broken tv, two packages of parts to fix it and no technician.     If I could give them negative stars I would. I Have a claim. I’ve been discriminated against. I am disabled and have a hard time speaking at times. My husband is deployed and has been worrying about us nonstop since Saturday the 4th. Our refrigerator went out still in 5-year warranty. They want me to place a call to have someone out to fix it. Filed the claim and they said we will follow up in a few days. 1st ridiculous email offered me 3 MOTORCYCLE HELMETS with built in bluetooths. I emailed back saying this would be ILLEGAL for me to drive my car with this motorcycle helmet with the built in bluetooth because I would not be able to hear traffic, it would block my vision, etc, etc... And I also sent them 3 comparable bluetooths from Amazon (their source) starting at $50 (same as their options) $74 (same as my cost) and $94 best quality. I also opted for my money back, seeing it is a warranty.

    I hadn’t heard back and I received this email asking for the How’d We Do option I am replying to. It also said, if we missed the mark, to call. I called yesterday and spoke with someone, explained everything, then he spoke to a Manager then said that they would get back to me in a few days. Well today, they got back to me, sent me another email with their means to handling the situation. This time it was gaming headphones, all wired, so please tell me how am I supposed to plug into my – whatever I am listening to—while I am driving my car, going to the bank, taking the kids to school… The point, how do I answer calls and listen to news while plugged into?? Yep, explain that one to me Lucy!! And to top it off, today’s email was "We did such a great job and ordered your replacement." Even though I didn't make the decision yet.

    The mechanical process of filing the claim with Allstate for the headphones was easy but getting indemnified was difficult. I submitted the information and they acknowledged it. They offered three alternative products that were nothing like what my original headphone was like. One thing wasn't even bluetooth and it required one to plug it into a computer. The other was a giant gaming headset. They were not at all like kind or quality and they were all on Amazon.

    I went to Amazon and found something that was similar and also in a similar price range to what they had offered to me. It was another LG product. But they said, “Sorry. We can't consider that. You have to choose among these three or we'll give you a cash reimbursement.” I opted to get a check but my preference would have been that they replaced the headphone and what they offered me was pure laziness. The other negative thing is that you can't call someone and when you interact via chat, even though you authenticated, they ask you the same thing over and over again that clearly is already part of your claim. It's very frustrating and hard to deal with.

    I got a Walmart protection plan covered by Allstate and when I got bad breaks on my new electric bike, they told me to go to Pexmor. But Pexmor said they were not going to cover it and they told me to call Allstate. I explained to Allstate that the Pexmor bicycle coverage is over in one year and that they don't cover the bicycles that we buy directly from Walmart. They got to be bought directly from Pexmor. Since Pexmor sold the bikes to Walmart, then Walmart is responsible.

    But Allstate did nothing and I'm about to call them again. I got to keep telling them that I bought a protection plan for $52 something and I can't get my brakes fixed. I was expecting them to at least take pictures of the brakes and cover it. But it's been a difficult process. After this one, I'm going to resell the bike, get another one, and get another extra bicycle under another different protection plan. I know that Allstate does a good job and this is not their fault. But they should take responsibility of the protection plans instead of having the dispute with Pexmor.

    Worst experience ever. They told don’t you tell their insurance is a one time use so don’t waste your money. Tried to have my couch repaired during my active period and though I had active insurance/2023-2028, representative told me I was denied because I was filing a claim a second time within in the 5 yr period. I’m sorry but a one time use is not insurance. A tear in my couch from an accident was reported as “negligence and abuse”. Awful word choice to a customer that tries to take care of their furniture and extremely insulting regardless of the situation. Don’t buy their insurance!

    I called the Allstate claim team to follow up on the deductible that I was told for a recent claim. When I filed the claim, it was shown that the deductible would be $89, though when I submitted receipts for the claim I was then told that it would be $199. My policy does call for a $199 deductible, which is why I was initially confused about the $89 deductible listed, though it says deductibles may vary from claim to claim so I didn’t think much of it. Each of the 2 representatives and 1 supervisor were confused about what I was explaining and though I don’t think there was an explicit answer given, I was able to get the difference issued since no one seemed to be able to say why I was told different amounts in the first place. The claims process was very smooth up until this discrepancy, so I’m hoping that if I do have to file future claims, I’m able to navigate them more smoothly than I was this one.

    I purchased a Keurig coffee maker from Walmart and got the extended warranty through Allstate. The Keurig failed within the warranty period and I filed a claim, which was accepted, however, I get an email from Allstate giving me 3 options for a replacement. 1 is a Nescafe machine, 1 is a machine made by Famiworths, which I've never heard of but appears to be a Chinese Keurig knock-off, and the last is a travel bag for a Keurig, not even something that, you know, actually makes coffee!! Unbelievably disappointed. The model I have is still readily available... adios Walmart and Allstate. Thanks for nothing.

    Purchased a Gazebo with the protection plan and when it was time to make a claim the claim was denied due to weather. Keep in mind that this is an outdoor furniture. Why sell a protection plan for an outdoor furniture when they know that it will get damaged due to weather. This is a easy way they can make money because they already know that the claim will be denied. This is a scam.

    I did a claim for a bag with Allstate. The wheel was shredded, screws were coming out of the handle and the zippers were messing up. It was fairly easy to do it the second time. I tried to go through the first time, but they said it was under a warranty and I would have to send it back to the manufacturer.     Purchased a ride on truck for grandchildren for Christmas in November 2023, gave as a Christmas present. Kids do not live close, so since December, they have only ridden about 4-5 times. Started having issues with the truck not running. We had purchased the 3 year protection plan. I started working with Allstate/Squaretrade about 2 weeks ago, and we still do not have a resolution. First, it is nearly impossible to get someone on chat, then when I finally called, I was given an option to find a local repair person. I explained that I live in a very rural area, and this would probably not be a good solution, but was told that was where I needed to start. So, I did, and as I thought, the closest repair shop is 4 hours away.

    Allstate wanted me to pay someone to drive 4 hours one way to fix a ride on car. I then started the process to contact someone for another route for our claim, but this time after waiting on chat for 15 minutes, finally called, and was told I needed to call back in an hour for a supervisor to help me. This entire process has been a mess, and I have yet to have a resolution.

    My refrigerator quit working and I have a warranty with the company. Contacted them and they referred me to the manufacturer for repair but told me I could file a claim for lost food. Filed the claim and they approved the maximum of $300 in the form of an e gift card. When I received the gift card it was for Home Depot. Home Depot doesn't sell food so I contacted them and they said they would issue a check for the food, it was their mistake. Three weeks go by and nothing so I contacted them again and they say they are not reissuing the reimbursement. It is completely ridiculous that they would issue reimbursement for food in the form of a Home Depot gift card.

    So we went through the process of claim for our 50" Philips TV, was told they would send us a list of options. When we got the email, there was ONE option. An ON bottom of the barrel tv, that I researched, that was not close to the same and was well over 100 dollars cheaper. What is with the games, why not replace it with the same Make and model, I mean that's what we paid the warranty for right? To get the same item if God forbid it fails? In all, I do not recommend getting this insurance or any tv with this insurance, unless you want to be screwed if your TV fails. STAY AWAY.

    Allstate is the worst company for insurance for any products. You pay for insurance cover and then when the time come for replacement or reimbursement they give you the run around. I had a 15x15 outdoor water slide and they wanted me to take it to a nearest shop and get it repair. This slide weigh at least 60lbs, and then customer service stated I can have someone to come out to repair the slide and they will refund me within 2 business days. I informed representative what’s the minimum amount because for someone to come out it will cost at least 150.00 just to look at the slide. I’m getting an attorney because I had a contract that I paid when making my purchase. I had water slide for three years and I have 5 year protection plan.

    After I stated I need their address to corporate for my attorney to send a letter. The representative came back and said they made an agreement to requirement be for the total amount of slide and she email an affidavit letter to sign. Why do I have to sign affidavit letter for a contract I already have from Allstate when I purchase my waterslide. No thank you. This company is a scam artist. NEVER PAY FOR INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY.. WORST COMPANY EVER…

    Don't buy any Allstate Protection Pan, it's a scam! I bought the protection plan for the e-bike I purchased from Walmart online, and ALLSTATE keeps giving me hard time giving me all non-solution ways to ask me to find my own repair stores and once none of the repair stores I tried to find myself cannot repair, they ask all the stores to write a prove letter why they cannot repair! They didn't even sell me the item why they need to prove to them they cannot repair? Plus, they do provide contact numbers and technicians' names. ALLSTATE can call to verify but ALLSTATE cannot take this phone call method, they have to have written offical letters with company letter heads!

    This is ridiculous. They are just trying to get away from the claims and putting the customers like me in such hardship! Because of this product, I have been going around the town for the past 2 months by myself trying to find a single store can do the work but none of them can do it! Now AllSTATE wants them to write proof of not able to fix LETTERS???? WHY!?

    This has been absolute torture trying to get our office printer fixed. We have a policy that is active and we filed a claim. Because our office name changed, you would think we are trying to scam this company every which way. I have submitted the information over and over and days go by. The original claim was submitted 12/6/23. When I finally get the confirmation that they have our policy, We need to submit all the purchasing information, which was all submitted when we took out the policy, pictures with hand written notes stating date and time (the timestamped date and time on the pictures were not compliant). The people you speak to follow a script and cannot make decisions or speak to anyone real time to get questions answered. I'm curious for the next step, if we get there on how we go about getting a repair. I would steer clear and find another warranty company.

    So far it's been very unpleasant to deal with square trade. Before sending a technician to the house they want you to actually put in some work on the appliance so they can know what parts to order. After failing to guess what the problem they sent a technician to check what was wrong, parts were ordered only to receive the wrong ones. When you call they want to go over everything only to tell you they apologize for the inconvenience and they will try to resolve the issue. I’ve lost two days of work because of this. Money that this company will not reimburse. And who knows when my refrigerator will get fix.

    I bought a 50-inch Samsung television for my mom at Sam’s Club and submitting the claim went well. I didn’t know who to call because I had all of the information written down on my receipt for Samsung. So I called them. Then, I called Sam’s Club and they told me to call Allstate. Once I did, I didn't expect them to tell me to send an email. So it was a new process, but I could understand it. I didn't wanna do that extra stuff but it was more helpful because when we do the email and then send the actual photo, the repair people know what they need to do when they come out. So the process was very smooth.

    The representative was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful, and explained everything. When I was talking to them, I was also talking to my mom at the same time. So it was a little confusing for me. But the representative was very helpful. They sent the email immediately. I sent the wrong thing initially. I only sent photos and a day later, they responded and told me to send a video. It was very efficient and their response was very quick. It was just a matter of a couple of days. And before you know it, within two or three days, my mom had a brand-new TV. So, it was wonderful. That warranty is still good until 2026. Four years for $50 in this day and age was a great deal. I don't have to keep buying TV. I was thankful for that process because I don't know how it works now with repairs.

    The team worked efficiently and was very helpful and stood by that warranty. I felt very lucky because it was just thrilling to know. The TV fits on the same mount. It wasn't heavier even though it was slightly thicker in the back. So it was easy for me to mount. I got thin TVs because I'd like to be able to do it by myself. I don't wanna have to hire someone to put it up. There are some new mounts that are making it easier. So you pop it on. I've been able to do those over the years. But so far, everything has been great with my mom's TV. And I appreciate the warranty coverage. My sons were surprised because Allstate was sitting with me when I was making the phone call. They think in terms of cars or homeowners so that surprised them. I've shared it and I told my mom, she was happy about it too. Allstate has got a great name.

    I used to have car insurance for years and I'm glad that they've expanded to this because it was helpful. I'm hoping that they make money where some of the TVs last for four years and some TVs sometimes don't. The TV was weird. Half of it was getting darker. My sons noticed it but my mom didn't notice it the first week. So it was perfect timing by the time the actual TV arrived to replace it because the right side was almost completely black. So, I'm very happy. A lot of people are like me and never get a warranty. I'll never get it for small items, like a $50 item but for an item like a TV that I use every day, I'll get it. I would encourage my family to do the same thing. So I'll mention it to my family and my siblings.

    The washing machine was leaking water from underneath. We went back to our paperwork from when we purchased the washer and the protection plan through Costco and began filing a claim online. The initial claim process was relatively easy. In filing the claim, we started online, and then once we completed the initial details, they told us to call a 1800 number. Once we called that number, they were pretty quick to dispatch a bunch of parts and get a technician scheduled. But unfortunately they sent the wrong parts. So our claim hasn't been fully resolved yet. They have to order new parts and they should arrive today. The technician should be coming out either later today or tomorrow to fix that.

    The backspring broke on the L-shaped sofa and it lost its cushion strength. Also, the cushion layer at the top was broken. Everything was scratched and the top layer was ripping apart. I submitted a claim initially in January but that was closed without the resolution. And later, a part of the sofa broke and since I have a toddler at home, it was very risky. So, I raised the claim again. It was very hard to reach SquareTrade but I ultimately got a hold of someone and they raised the claim over the phone for me. They scheduled a meeting with the furniture company and today, someone from the furniture company came and reviewed the condition of the sofa. They said they would inform Allstate.     We always do extended warranties on our appliances, and we got one from Allstate for a freezer. The freezer broke. It just quit cooling. The claim wasn't hard to file, but the things that we had to do in order to get them to do it was weird. But other than that, it wasn't that bad. Everybody was friendly but they're not very knowledgeable. The freezer was broken and wasn't cooling at all and they wouldn't file or give me a claim number until I unplugged it for 12 hours and then plugged it back in, which made no sense, where I could have had somebody service it a little bit faster. It was a weird step that they made me go through. Broken is broken. Unplugging it and plugging it back in wasn't gonna fix it.

    I had to call my own service company, pay for it, and then wait to get reimbursed, which I thought was awkward, but it was fast. It wasn't too bad but some people might not have the money to lay out and wait to get reimbursed. It was almost $900 to fix it. I've had extended warranties before in the past and I've never laid out money upfront. Usually, the warranty company pays for you.lem. [He means yes.]

    I have a few things under Allstate, and I just had to file a claim for my Oculus that wasn't charging. I took it someplace and they fixed it for free. I didn't have to use the claim as it was. I canceled it. As far as submitting the claim, everything was online. It was a little confusing because one of my claims is an Oculus. When I bought it, it's listed as Oculus, but they sent it to me and it said I can get my bike fixed and it's not a bike. Also, when I bought my Oculus, I forgot to add my warranty on it. So, I went back and bought the warranty hours later and added it on and I was charged $50 because the Oculus was so much. It was up to 399. And then, when they sent me my warranty it was only for 24.99. It was a different amount. They weren't gonna cover the whole Oculus.

    So, I spent a couple of hours online with Allstate and they still didn't fix it. Verbally, they said they fixed it. They were like, "Ok, okay. Yeah, we'll change that." I said, "Well, can you send updates and send it to me?" "Sure." I never got that. I was on the phone with the rep for over an hour and sent him everything. They kept telling me my warranty was wrong. I have three warranties. I have three Oculus and they kept saying, "No it's right. It's right here." I sent them receipts for all three Oculuses and all three warranties and they were still telling me that I was wrong. Overall, Allstate is efficient, and the process online is easy but they got difficult customer service.

    I purchased quite a few protection plans through Allstate and I had to use one warranty on a SaluSpa hot tub. I was satisfied with the service that they gave but after the claim was done, I had another vacuum that I needed to file a claim on and even though the claim for the hot tub was complete, it was still saying that I couldn't file a claim because they're still in process. And that's been going on for a while. Other than that, the claim was quick and painless. Allstate paid back the amount that was supposed to be there. It was a good service and I was glad that I bought the warranty. The price is fair and usually, it's a good deal.

    I've tried to go to Allstate’s website though and they don’t have the warranty very accessible to where you can purchase it separately. I tried to purchase it for a couple of other things and I never could locate anything. The only way I could find it was if eBay, Walmart and other retailers offered it. Also, the payment card process was a pain because they give you an app for the payment card but the way that it was processed, it would never correctly go to the app. So I had to constantly go back and go through the email to get what the balance was on the card that they sent in for it. That's something Allstate needs to look into. I had to call and go through customer service the first time and get that sent again. Finally, I had an email where I had to go through extra steps because their app wasn't working correctly.

    I made a phone call because I noticed that our gaming monitor wasn't working. Allstate asked me to verify the information on the plan and the receipt. They looked it up and found it, then they asked me to do a couple of things with the monitor. I plugged it in and wiggled it. They also asked if I got a new cord, and I said, "Yes, all of that," and right away, they offered me a voucher. They asked me what would I like, if I would like it deposited into my account or a Walmart voucher, a prepaid Mastercard or a Visa card. I chose the Walmart voucher because I went and got a new one. They sent the voucher, and within a minute or two, I had it in my email. Everything was done perfectly. The monitor was almost $200, and I only paid like $27 for the warranty. It was cheap.

    I had two tablets I put a protection plan with Allstate. Recently, I had my son's tablet sent out for repair. They sent it to the wrong address in Texas and I'm in California. I gave them my address multiple times, and they confirmed it. However, it ended up going to the other spot and they were telling me they didn't how that happened. They were asking me if I was able to go pick it up. When I asked for a refund, they said they had to look into it to see if I qualified for it since the tablet was already issued out even though it was sent to the wrong location. I asked them if I could get the refund electronically but they told me they had to mail a check. They said they sent me an email, but they never did. I called after two weeks and that was when I finally received it. But it was exhausting trying to get my point across. It took them over a month to get me the money back for the tablet.

    One of my kids' tablets when it got sent to repair, they sent me another tablet, a similar one since the other one had damage to it. On the second day that I got it, my son was trying to hold the screen and it turned black. It wasn't new. It was another one they already had as a replacement. I barely got the money back for the other tablet that was sent to the wrong address and I have no working tablet at the moment. When you're calling them, sometimes it seems they're on the right page. Sometimes it feels like they're trying to rush through the conversation to finish the call.

    It's so easy to purchase an Allstate protection plan through Walmart, whether it's in the store or online. I just click it. They will have it. It shows right there and it tells me everything. I've used the protection plan, and it's been easy, except for the part where I have to find the item number. It's a long number, and I don't know it, so I have to go back and either write it down or copy and paste it if the system lets me. Allstate has always fixed my issues.

    I purchased 6 inexpensive outdoor chair pillows from Big Lots. I purchased the 3 year All State warranty because the items were inexpensive and I figured if they weren’t a great quality I could submit my warranty and get new pillows. My pillows faded even without being in sun. I submitted 6 claims one for each pillow. My first two were easily approved and I was sent a check for them. The last 4 were questioned by their audit dept and I was asked to submit photos and a description. Did all of that. I was then asked to call them, nobody would respond via email with any explanation.

    I called and spent a long time answering more of the same questions. Was told I would get an answer via email. My answer was that it was declined. No explanation! I replied to the email asking why? They told me to again call them. I spent $19.20 on each his the 6 pillows and an additional $2.99 for each pillow for the warranty. Give me a break! I’m not trying to pull some major fast one! The Money is no longer the issue, it’s the horrible me service!

    I have been having issues with my touchpad and have done 3 claims on it. The first 2 times they removed the drivers and reinstalled them and the issue came back. The 3rd time FINALLY they said "we will replace the touchpad" and had me send my laptop to their repair place. Then a week later I got my laptop and they DID NOT REPLACE MY TOUCHPAD and they only thing they did was reset my operating system. What kind of repair is that.     I purchased a plan for a PlayStation 4, that has began to have problems and proceeded to get worse. It has no physical damage, no drops, spills or anything, and obviously I can not open it up myself because that would void the warranty so I had to send it in. When I did they said there was an issue so they couldn’t fix it but will not be replacing or repairing and are only sending back the defective unit. There is nothing about such an issue not being covered especially if I can not see inside the PlayStation myself to verify that this was the case. So save yourself the trouble and do NOT waste your money on these plans. They will find any and every excuse to deny claims so they don’t have to pay for something whether it stops working 2 days after or a 2 years into the 3 year plan.

    Picked up my MacBook Pro (2015 model). One day and it started just randomly turning off and not charging so I sent it in for repair since it’s covered in the warranty (I assumed faulty battery). Super easy, print the label, box it, bring it to FedEx. Done. Got it back about a week later: I turned it on and it had 90% battery, so I figured it must’ve been fixed. However, I got to update it and see that the battery is still not charging, per what shows when I click on the battery itself and it states that it recognizes the AC adapter, but it’s not charging. I unplug the MagSafe cord and the whole thing shuts down, even though it’s at 90% battery.

    So I call the customer service line to inform them the problem has not been fixed. She tells me there are photos that prove there’s been water damage. That’s news to me since I’ve had it since December and it’s a refurbished Mac, so I knew there might be issue, but since it’s been in my possession, it hasn’t been anywhere near water (and it’s covered! So I have no reason to lie about it, even if I had gotten it wet). I tell her this, despite her assuming I created the water damage and indicate I’m still having the same issues. She apologizes and says they “fixed” the problem for what it was sent in for, but it’ll need to be sent in again because the original claim did not have water damage listed. Not sure how I’m supposed to know there’s water damage to a laptop I bought in December and was not a result of my action?

    I’m already irritated because this is the same day I received it back, so she tells me she’ll put in a new claim and I can send it back to be fixed. I shipped it off this Monday so this’ll be the 2nd time in 2 weeks I won’t have the laptop and I’m not even confident that it’s going to be resolved since the first time it was “resolved” I continued to have the same issue. I shouldn’t have to keep sending something back to be “repaired” when it should’ve been repaired the first time.

    I have been trying to log into my account for three days. When I put in my email and password it takes me to a page that tells me an email has been sent to my address with a confirmation code. I never get the email. I attempted this for three days, no emails in my inbox, spam or junk. I couldn’t find a phone number but I found a link to email them. I sent an email and 24 hours later I got a email back with a phone number. I called them and told the person the issue. They said they would have to transfer me to technical support. 15, FIFTEEN transfers later I got some who said they could help and would also start my claim.

    They started my claim and then put me on hold for them to talk to their tech support. After about 30 seconds he came back and told me it was a maintenance issue and it would be working in about 24 hours. A MAINTENANCE ISSUE, FOR THREE DAYS… They also told me to do a password reset by using the forgot my password. I tried that, NO EMAIL LINK SENT. And before you say my email is wrong, while I was on the phone with Nicolas I got 2 mails about the call! These people DO NOT WANT YOU TO FILE A CLAIM! They will do everything in their power to make impossible!

    Terrible warranty service. I have had at least 5 phone calls and at least 2 hours of waiting and talk time. I have spoken to people at Allstate and with Walmart. No help from any of them. The first two blamed the other company as the reason for the decline. I sent the item in for repair as instructed. 10 days later I received the exact same package back with no repairs being made. No explanation. Absolutely nothing. The first call was to Allstate (Square Trade). Then after a long conversation claimed I needed Walmart to approve the repairs. 2nd call was to Walmart. They said after a long conversation the decision was aT Square Trade.

    On my next call to Square Trade they basically said they couldn’t do anything about it. I requested a call back from a supervisor. No call was forthcoming. I called ST again. They eventually said l needed to send them proof of purchase. They said I would receive a email with a link to send a photo of the receipt. No email has been sent. I am thinking about what to do next. Would one more call get it done? Should I make the call or should I have my attorney make. At this point I believe I should just ask for my purchase of three 12.9 iPad Pro be refunded. I have had all I can take of both of them. I have responded to at least three customer surveys without hearing anything back. Great customer service!!!

    I purchased a chair on Amazon and decided to purchase insurance. The chair broke and found it best to just get a refund through the insurance. It was difficult to get the pictures uploaded to them as every time I did it, it said I still needed to do it. Then once that was done, I had to continue with the claim, but it would not work on the website. I called and was given the furniture claim phone #. Once I called, it went fairly easy to finish the claim and get a refund credit on Amazon. Other than the issues going through the steps, it was worth it and would purchase again.

    Allstate handled the claim well but, after they put me in touch with Sony Concierge services who would finish the claim they are replacing my LED TV with and LCD and the TV I had was also Energy Star 5 and the replacement is only Energy Star 3, this is very disappointing as I didn't get an extended warranty to get a lower quality TV and use more power than the one being replaced. When I brought these points up to the Sony Concierge they stated that's the only replacement they are offering unless I wanted to pay the difference for a model that matched my current TV's specifics. I will also be bringing this up to Costco's Customer Service once the replacement has been delivered and I can take photos.

    Bought a Samsung 55 inch television, WiFi stop connecting so I bought the 4 service plan, but rest assured I got no service!! I continually got sent back and forth between Allstate and Samsung each one of them kept passing the buck to the other, finally got a Samsung guy to come look at tv and he had to be the rudest, most incompetent, most impatient customer service person I ever Encountered. Nobody had answers for me!! Extremely disappointed in the service provided!
