    They already lost my 4 packages past 3 months. All mails are late anyway but lately no package. No refund when I file claim with agent. I've got case week later. It says case closed and arrived. I've already did this 4 times. I keep emailing shipper. They keep sending me tracking info and apologies. Same thing with USPS. Usps mailed to me and saying, "We are sorry," but nobody refund no package. Nothing.

    Package delay and I seen the mail man coming down my road.. I was waiting on an important package then boom he never shows up.. Had me clueless like I know I just seen the mailman. Why are you guys hiring people who don’t have common sense.

    USPS did not deliver the package at all. They claimed to have attempted a delivery, but four people were home all day. They left a slip in the mailbox (rural, so down a long driveway) to follow up for another delivery attempt. I followed the instructions and received confirmation that they would attempt to deliver the next day. They never tried once, as no new slips were made in the mailbox with normal mail, no one knocked on the door, and the tracking did not change once, even though I signed up for all notifications. 4 days later, I went to the post office, where it was just sitting. It took the employee less than 30 seconds to walk over and grab it off the shelf. So it was not even on a truck being attempted to be delivered. On top of that, the box had been smashed up with no attempt, even to make it look like it was not. They should be out of business for what USPS charges and the reviews online. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

    If you want to mail something I would NEVER use the post office. Sure it may cost a little more to use other carriers, but like all things in life, you get what you pay for!! The post office delivered 8 packages to the wrong address and I had to pay those bills! I'm not talking about a case where packages were lost in shipping, and it's unknown who is responsible. I'm talking about actually discovering the exact employee or branch responsible and STILL there is no compensation from the post office. If you have a tracking number, paid extra for priority mail, etc, NONE of this makes a difference because even when they agree they were at fault, they NEVER reimburse customers! Why would anyone want to use a service, that not only employs a great deal of incompetent individuals, but will not reimburse when they discover the error to be on them?!! They should have signs at all post offices, saying we try but we fail a lot, and when we do, you get screwed.

    There is no incentive to do their job correctly, because they know if errors occur, it makes no difference! I actually had one branch, TELL me the carrier was incompetent and STILL nothing changes. I stopped using the post office years ago, but unfortunately when I buy online I can't help it if sellers use them. I now have to start asking sellers what carrier they use, and not to buy if USPS is the answer! It's no surprise the government screws over people but this is just one more way of how they screw people, that I was not aware of. If you ship items and you use the post office, and this occurs, you have only yourself to blame. Fyi.

    I mailed a package priority mail on Monday 3/25/2024. I also mailed a priority envelope at the same time. I was able to track the envelope but not the package. USPS is spending millions of dollars of taxpayer's money to advertise that they are making the USPS more efficient. Besides not being able to talk to the local post office by phone, you have to call an 800 number that can do no more that you can do online except to give you a case number. If I had wanted to wait 3 days for a response, I could have probably drove my package from the east coast to the west coast. This unacceptable and no entity is holding the USPS accountable for false advertisement, transparency, and waste of taxpayer's money.

    This is the worst business that deserves to be taken over by something better. On multiple occasions, orders from Amazon were delivered for bizarre or unknown reasons. This time, a small package was held for pickup "after a failed delivery" under blue sky, no reason is given. It is a good bet the driver didn't even bother to drive over and deliver it and made up excuses. There is nothing blocking the delivery. They could easily leave the small package in the mailbox. USPS is one big lie!

    My son shipped breast milk via the US Postal Service, with dry ice, Priority Mail In November of 2023 for their vacation here in SC from Minnesota. The US Postal service literally delivered the box to my front door today, 3/25/24, rang my doorbell and said there's bugs all over this. They literally tried to deliver a weeping, tattered box wrapped in plastic and covered in bugs to my house. What the heck is wrong with these people. Someone had to put this on truck, after truck and then the delivery driver brought that nastiness to my front door and delivered it.

    They lost 2 credit card, 1 debit card. All were sent separately, I had to re-order them again. They lost my passport. Every time I see that it’s USPS delivering, I already know they won’t deliver. Now I am expecting very important package from out of country and I know they will lose it and I will back here writing another review.

    Don't use them for any form of shipping, unless you enjoy receiving your items late. My items are once again "delayed" and five more days were added to my wait. I now will not work with or purchase any goods from any company that uses USPS as their shipping provider.... Trash.

    At this point I’m done. I have a package that could have been redelivered. Only attempted delivery once. Claimed that there there was no secure location. Which, I had never had this issue since my partner and I moved to Vegas. I had call them twice to request a redelivery. First request; leave package at the front door. Nothing. Second request; redeliver. Then received a call back the same day just so she can tell me they can’t make the delivery. She wasn’t trying to listen to what I had to say either and was short with me. Now I have to pick up my tiny package. Ridiculous! Please keep this in mind I don’t have a car and I had voice that this would be inconvenient for me to pick it up. Now I have to pay Uber because no one was able to follow simple instructions to leave the package at my front door! I just can’t. Here is my sequence number for the second request: **.

    There were 2 things working correctly for a number of centuries - telephone service and mail service - someone in their ultimate wisdom decided to 'make things better???' - I want to know why I paid extra money for priority service when it is not guaranteed - I sent a package that landed in Boston 1/2 hour from the delivery address at 9:00 PM in the evening of Thursday with a 'priority delivery' of Saturday - here it is Monday and it's still not there - it would have gotten there before or on time if I walked it there... What seems to be your problem. When the 'government' gets involved with anything it gets screwed up... worst people in the world are in charge of this... Do your job and get rid of them!

    I was given the wrong key to access a package. Left a note for my carrier in our 'outgoing mail' slot. Nothing happened. The next day, I spent almost two and a half hours making phone calls before speaking to a person. That person had to get in touch with my local post office because my local does not answer their phone. Online reviews back me up on that. The next morning I got a call that my carrier knows about the key. Nothing happened. I left another note on top of the key, in my mail slot. The note was gone. The key was still there. Nothing happened. The person I spoke with told me they had 2-5 business days to take care of things. That was Wednesday. It is Saturday. It will take 5 days minimum to solve this.

    All that needs to happen is my package needs to move from the box that won't open to a box that does. The project I had setup in anticipation of getting the package won't happen and I have lost money. Carriers are not allowed to give mail directly to people so waiting for him to show up and asking for my package will do no good. I have never had so much trouble talking to someone at a business or getting an issue resolved. The USPS is too large for negative reviews to do anything. It is an organization without a boss. There is systemic apathy among the employees as there is in any job where you don't get fired for incompetence, you get transferred. Negative reviews are for writers to blow off steam. I feel a little better for writing it.

    Recently ordered some packages off of Amazon, 7 of the 9 items I ordered were sent out by the seller using USPS. Of those 7 items, everyone of them has been delayed in transit and has had the delivery date moved up, not just the next day but 4 packages were moved up a week. Literally every package I've received so far has been over a week late and the rest of the packages, if they get here at all will be over 2 weeks late. I ordered these items because of the shipping and estimated date they would be here but now. Out of the 7 packages, 6 I'll need to send back since I had to go out and purchase. Not only does this hurt the seller but also the environment and is just such a waste. USPS has become just horrible and more than unreliable, but they are good at excuses and blaming others as I've been told.

    From now on, I will not purchase any products from any vendor who ships with USPS which to me is sad because it hurts those just trying to make a living but I'm also trying to do the same and continuing to use and or rely on USPS is just a bad decision. However, my junk mail is here reliably and I can always count on having something useless in my mailbox.

    I paid $35 to have the lock changed on my mailbox on October 20, 2023, it's March 6, 2024 and still hasn't been done. The work order said it would be completed within 2 weeks. I've been to the post office twice to request a refund and have been given the runaround. I went in December and again in January. I've spoken to the mailman who is aware of the request and inquired about it as well. He actually laughed and wished me luck. The second time I went into the office in January the clerk pulled out the work order from the folder of forms and acknowledged it should have been done within 2wks...still couldn't get a refund. Now it's March, still no new lock. Thank God I found my key months back!!! I was still going to have them changed so I would have 2 keys as I only have one.

    I called the customer service to try to get somewhere with them. They put in request for refund to my local office and I got a call saying they don't think I can get a refund on this. I now called and got the runaround from the manager too. I'm going in at 11:30 today and he's going to "see what he can do!!!" Incompetence ALLL THE WAY AROUND. I paid for something they didn't deliver, you need to give me back my money!

    It is with the utmost importance and deep concern that I share my experience regarding the order of my anniversary gift commemorating my 16+ years of dedicated service at Publix Supermarket. Publix honored my commitment by graciously allowing me to select this meaningful token of appreciation. Regrettably, despite Publix's thoughtful gesture, upon placing my order, the delivery process through USPS has been fraught with challenges. While I received a confirmation email stating the dispatch of my package on March 1, 2024, the subsequent notification on March 4, 2024, indicating delivery to a parcel locker at 5:42 pm has left me disheartened.

    Today, March 5, 2024, my anniversary package remains conspicuously absent, prompting significant distress. Despite my attempts to address the issue with the USPS representative responsible for my area, I encountered a dismissive and unhelpful attitude, which is deeply concerning. As a taxpayer and loyal customer of USPS, I implore them to recognize the gravity of this situation and expedite the necessary measures to locate my long-awaited anniversary gift. It is imperative that USPS upholds its responsibility to assist customers with care and diligence, particularly in matters as significant as this.

    I would just like to start off by saying I use USPS for many years but over the years their service has fell off as far as customer service and your delivery experience. You pay money to have things shipped and their loss are either employees are simply not doing their job. I had a package sent to me from a friend. Paid over $20 to send it. It took over a month for me to get it in. The only reason why it arrived because I thought a complaint and was trying to get the insurance and it finally came said my daughter package a week before Valentine's Day and guess what is February the 27th and she still has not received it yet.

    USPS lost my package and has done nothing but make it hard for me to get a refund and submit a claim. Apparently you can't go through the process of getting a refund on priority mail at a USPS, and you have to do it all online, when the USPS website is an absolute joke. The website also said that my package isn't eligible for a refund when it 100% is. I have been playing a game of phone tag with the USPS where I live, because every time I call them, after getting past the automated system (which is absolute garbage) they never pick up the phone. I am out $100 of items I ordered, with no help on their side. The only plus is that the lady who helped me at my local USPS was very kind and tried to help me the best she could.

    I sent a package to Austin to the IRS on 2-10-24 as of today it still says it is in Coppell Texas. I was told 3 days to deliver. I went to the postal office 2 times and was basically told, "Oh well." It has personal information in that envelope. I’m afraid someone has stolen it and cause possibly use it to try identify theft. I had no ideal the mail was a 3rd party vendor now.

    I paid priority overnight service, USPS dropped my package in a wrong place 4 days after they promised, then they refused to send it to the correct address arguing that they don't have it in the system. Previously I received mail here, and it is in Google. Rude customer service from people at Olympia, WA office located at Jefferson Street. My packet is still lost after a week of given to USPS.

    Shows delivered and was picked up at post office at 8:30 pm which is a lie. Our post offices are closed at 2:00 pm. USPS is a joke and now I have missing packages and out of money on my end. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

    The post office does not allow forwarding of mail for more than 30 days so I was forced to enter a temporary change of address. The last mail I got was on Dec 20th, 2023 and today is Feb 17th, 2024. I am in desperate need of my mother's death certificate and all my tax documents and some paper checks. NO ONE at the local post office cares and they just shrug their shoulders. I stand in line and wait for a supervisor and have talked to three different ones who all tell me they will call me after talking to the carrier. Not one phone call to date. UPS, FedEx and Amazon are all able to deliver, but the post office somehow cannot even find a letter I mailed to myself locally.

    I sent a package on January 29th and it was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, February 3rd, but it was not delivered, so I contacted them and asked them to deliver it, and they tried to deliver it on Saturday, February 10th, but the business was closed, and the message said it would be delivered on Monday, February 12th, so I waited, thinking it would be delivered on Monday, February 12th. Then I got a call from a representative on Tuesday (February 13th) and they said they would deliver it on Wednesday (February 14th), and today is February 15th, and it still hasn't been delivered.

    So I contacted them again today and asked them to please deliver it quickly because it's important, and I'm very disappointed to be told that I have to wait 3 days again. Even sent it certify mail because I needed it to arrive when I needed it, but the USPS ignores these things and doesn't even take care of them when I contact them, and I want everyone to know about it, and I want to insist that the system needs to be improved so that these problems can be corrected properly.

    I was mailed a diamond ring from St Louis Missouri in July, the last time it was scanned was Memphis, Tennessee. The postal service took the scan off after I requested a investigation. I have requested 3 investigation, still no package with my ring. What happened to my package in Memphis Tennessee the last place it was scanned Nobody Knows. I out of $658.00 for the. The person who mailed it to me didn't know to add extra insurance plus it was too late to get the $100.00 after all the useless investigation were done. For me thumbs down for the USPS.

    I have a P O BOX at Norwalk. I place online orders. Most of the time my orders say it coming UPS, FED EX, OR ONTRAC. But since the post office has financial problem they have Surepost. Every time I get a package I have to stand in line to pick up package. Every time I get harassed telling me I do it all wrong. On my online it tell me it's being ship with UPS, FED EX, OR ON TRAC. Never are my intentions to have it go to the USPS. Stop harassing me. I just need my online orders. I am sure I am not the only one that this happens to. I feel nervous going to stand in line to do pick ups.

    Service is really bad in my area, tried a POB & became expensive. I've gone digital because of service. I receive mail from various neighbors & surrounding streets. Mail left on trash receptacle. Poor Service!

    This is the worst company not just in the US, in the whole world. Even in the 10th world countries, you would never find a worse company. We shipped a valuable package at the end of November which was supposed to be delivered in a few days. It stayed in the distribution center for 3 weeks! When we called, they instructed us to file for an interception. We paid another time. After that, the package is gone. Literally, till this time, we have no idea where the package ended up. When you call customer service, their only job is to throw the responsibility on someone else. No accountability, no respect, no system. This is the 3rd time USPS has lost our package. I advise you and everyone you know to never ever think for a second about shipping with this company....

    Priority was about 2 times the cost of First Class, which I should've done. First, it said delivery on 1/25/2024. No tracking for 6 days almost. Well, it sat in Tomball Texas from 01/22/2024 to 01/28/2024 when it finally moved an ENORMOUS 40 miles to Missouri City, TX. LOL Finally, on 01/28/2024, the tracking was updated and said it was in Missouri City. It moved 40 miles in 6 days. Still have NO idea when it'll be delivered. Priority Mail is a RIPOFF! Send your stuff first class mail. Why call it "PRIORITY" if it's slower than the Pony Express? LOL Some mail I get is a month late in the last 5-6 months. From now on, I go UPS or I don't waste my time paying for 'PRIORITY" with USPS. It's a scam and a ripoff.

    In the past year USPS has never delivered a package on time or even close. I used to get packages from Kentucky in 3 days but now not so good. Here's an example of the same delivery a couple of weeks ago.

    The package sat in Kansas City distribution center for 8 days. That was actually good for this year. Normally now they send it to another city and back again before it sits around for another week.

    Recently I paid for and sent a Certified letter with a Return Receipt. I got the Return Receipt card back, which I paid an extra $4+ for that Service, with NO signature or date delivered on it. I NEED the SIGNATURE! I called the PO and they said I'd have to come down to the PO to get a copy of it. I stated, "This is what I paid for, to have the signature on the Return Receipt card delivered back to my address!" So, I drove to the PO, 50 minutes one-way to get a copy of the signature. I requested a refund of the $4+ I paid for the Service. They said "NOPE, here's your signature."

    Well, I was a strong believer in the PO, and still mailed ALL my bills and correspondence in the mail. About a book of stamps a month. Well, No More! Today I have finally set up ALL my bills to be sent and paid for on my computer. My daughter set me up and I love it! Stupid PO. They lost $10 a month in revenue (receiving a bill and mailing a bill in the mail each month) for NOT reimbursing me $4+ in a service I never received! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid! Now, I'll use 4 stamps a year ---2 Birthday & 2 Christmas Cards!

    From two months USPS deliver some mail but some mail got missing. The funny thing is they sent me pictures of the mails to email on informed delivery those supposed to be deliver. But those mail somehow disappeared. Those are priority mails. I requested inquiry to find my mails. They call me three times just to ask me if I receive the mails but not knowing where those mails are. Very unprofessional.

    I mailed out 60 envelopes with thank you cards from my wedding in November 2023. Approximately three to four weeks later, my husband and I realized that not a single family member or friend had received our cards. We inquired with friends near and far, across the country, and found that NO ONE had received them. It became clear to us that something had occurred with the mailing process. I first tried to contact my local post office, who did not answer the phone 5 times. I then called the national USPS line, and spoke with someone who opened a case for me, which would force the local office to contact me. This contact ultimately ended up being an email that said they could nothing. They then did not respond to any of my three follow up emails over the course of the next month.

    I called the national USPS number again, and spoke to a wonderful customer service representative who essentially let me know that something was not right, either the box was broken into (and the office should know this) or there was employee negligence. She reopened my case and escalated it to consumer affairs, informing me that I should receive a refund of some kind. Finally, I was hopeful that my case was going to remediated in some way - I was upset not only due to the money I had spent to buy the cards and the postage, but also the time I put in to handwriting each and every card. However, today I received an email from USPS essentially telling me they will be doing nothing to investigate this or remediate the situation. I deeply upset at the way USPS is handling 60 pieces of missing mail, all mailed within the same day. Clearly there is an issue here.

    I paid for a package to be delivered overnight. The package contained an item that was to be served at a special dinner the following evening. 3 days later it is still lying in the distribution center...spoiling. I'm wondering what the guarantee part of this transaction could possibly be. I'll NEVER use this service again unless I absolutely do not care if an item is ever received. Pitiful indeed. I used the Arnold, Missouri post office which did their part in getting the package to the St. Louis Reginal Distribution Center in a timely manner, unfortunately, the package is still there. I wish there was some way I could let them know they should just open the package and eat what's in there. At least that way, it would not be wasted. I will NOT recommend using USPS EVER again to anyone.

    I ordered something on January 2nd, and it is now January 19th. I haven't received my item. There is zero communication. USPS tries to make it as difficult as possible to talk to an actual person. While the tracking system seems to work pretty, it does no good to have a good tracking system if customers consistently get their packages 2 weeks after they're supposed to get the actual package. Very disappointed. This is my first time using USPS and I will not be using them again.

    After calling for 2 days and sending a fax (no one ever answered), I used the "contact us" feature on the website and stated that I called and faxed and that I thought it was inexcusable for a federal employee to not answer the phone. Noel or Nicole from the Elizabeth Post Office called me back and stated that she had got my complaint. Then proceeded to tell me, "to clarify, I don't work for you, we don't operate from tax dollars", she called me a jerk and stated that I was entitled because I didn't understand how busy they are the day after a holiday. I told her that every business (who wants to remain in business) should answer the phone when customers call. She hung up on me. Wow! send an email, don't buy stamps, go paperless, whatever you can do to NOT use the Post Office. This is why their reviews are so bad - people like they have at the Elizabeth Post Office. Horrible Customer Service!!

    For a few years now my mail has often been delivered to my neighbors, once I got someone else's Social Security check and hand delivered it to them across town. Now Informed Delivery marked one as out for delivery, on Jan 2, and two weeks later it's yet to arrive. Called the local office and they blamed another post office and suggested we scroll down and click an option to re-deliver. That option is only available for packages that failed to deliver because nobody was there to sign etc. This was a supervisor that clearly had no idea what she was talking about and should be immediately fired from the Murchison branch. You can report fraud and such to inspector general, but they DO NOT INSPECT INCOMPETENCE. There is no option to request an audit and firing of anyone failing their duties. It is unacceptable that they are unaccountable and pass the buck when you inquire.

    A mail was sent by my lawyers in Sacramento, CA, to USCIS post box in Chicago, IL. The mail was sent on 3 Jan 2024. The USPS tracking records initially showed expected delivery by 5 Jan 2024. The tracking records kept showing that the mail is in transit in Chicago. It did not get delivered till 9 January. I tried calling USPS customer service on 1-800-275-8777 and they help me to raise a service request on 10 Jan 2024 to check the status of the mail. The service request department called me on 12 January to say they are still working on the issue and the person could not tell when they will deliver the mail. After 9 days, at the time of writing this review, still no clue about expected delivery date. USPS needs to look into the matter and make the mail delivery service more efficient.

    Package assigned to delivery was not anything that need to be signed for. Driver decides according to phone representative to bring to drop off location. I never got a clear answer to why package couldn’t be left at address on porch .03 lbs weight of package. This is why I figured they had to ride yellow bus. What kind of company allows drivers to make decisions if packages should be left on property or not. Company should have detailed instructions on how to handle deliveries, not line level workers making decisions based on their observation or thought process. USPS should take tips from Doordash, Amazon and other companies in modern use of technology on efficient delivery to assure your customer base is happy. Delivery is a convenience so it should be convenient to consumers not send customers on a run around based on driver’s opinion. No wonder it ranks 2 stars. Get it together…

    I'm still waiting for a package to be delivered from TX to MI and it's been over 2 weeks. It sat in a Houston facility for 9 days and then Dallas for 3 days. It's now "in transit" again for who knows how long or to where. It's been pathetic since DeJoy took over. I'm not sure if I'll ever receive my package.

    Terrible. I sent a package through. Used the priority mail service and it was never delivered. It took more than 1 week to receive the news that it will be returned to me again! The telephone customer service is malicious! The staff that works at the Jose Marti post office on 26th Ave NW Miami Florida is terrible, they are liars and they don't do their jobs well.     After several complaints including submitting video evidence it's getting worse and seems like retaliation. The delivery driver refuses to get out of their vehicle when the weather is not sun shiny and or when the delivery of multiple items are involved. They pull in and pull right back out so fast that we can't even get outside fast enough to catch them. They then lie and report that we were closed and they could not make the delivery. At times our items consist of medical supplies that are needed asap and these deadbeats cause us to wait even longer for them. Sadly it seems the higher ups could care less.

    I have no idea why it is so hard to deliver mail to an address. For some odd reason as of March the USPS has been sending my mail back as undeliverable for wrong address. I've open up a mail tracking account, file two Missing mail complaints, been down to the local post office and talked to the mail carrier. I've confirmed my address with the company multiple times. Which is a check I was supposed to receive from the State of Mich. That they've rejected 4 times. I'm glad I didn't need it for rent. I would be homeless and I'm sure the USPS wouldn't help to rectify the situation. I'm also glad I'm not on probation or Parole. I have to have my mail sent to my job in order to get it mail. If I was I would be a goner thanks to USPS.

    I've filed numerous complaints! No one ever follows up! This is be beyond ridiculous that you have to go through all these hoops just to get what your mail!. I'm a tax paying citizen who actual is pay for USPS to do a job. That seems to be a challenge for you all. I wish Amazon would get into the mail business. 'Cause the UPS is doing a Horrible job!!

    I attempted to change my address in person at my local post office. After 18 days, I finally received a letter at my new address that it could not be completed due to the request being “more than 45 days in the past” which is impossible since I chose the date a few days in the future. The clerk even reviewed the paperwork I gave her. I did all of this very much in advance to ensure I would get mail that I need.

    Now, I am in a different state, with mail sitting in my old mailbox. I called customer service to find out why it did not go through and to figure out how to get my important mail that was supposed to get sent to my new address. The customer service representative was dismissive and rude to me the entire conversation. I asked if they would tell me what I needed to do in order to fix it and they replied “I can’t fix it for you, I have no way to know why it was not approved.” There was no apology and no helpful information whatsoever. I also spent 15 minutes just trying to get through the awful automated system that is confusing and unhelpful, to then sit on hold for another 10 minutes just to speak to someone who was dismissive about my issue. This ended with no useful information and put me right back where I started. The whole USPS system is out of date and very frustrating, it should not be this hard for people to do their jobs.

    When you go to change your address online they charge you a $1.10 Fee but Always say that the transaction can't be completed at this time. Then proceeds to put a hold the money, but never allowing you to change your address. It says the same thing over and over and you know all of your information is correct.     I renewed my license in NJ in November and when I didn’t get my license in the mail, I called DMV, I was told it was mailed on Dec 2 so another one was mailed on Dec 23 and I still haven’t received my license as of to date. I also ordered from Newark, NJ FOP in December, a week before Christmas and have not received my envelope. This is ridiculous. USPS needs to get on the ball and start delivering the things that needs to be delivered. I am frustrated and livid with their services.

    For some reason my mailman didn't follow the rules he must do fist before making my mailbox vacant. My mail was never held and no one contacted me to find out if I still lived here. Also there is another tenant who lives downstairs and her mailbox is right next to mine on her front porch. She even told the mailman I was still living upstairs. That I had broken my back in three places making it hard for me to get up and down the stairs. Then I got covid. My friend was bring my mail up to me twice a week, but for some reason my mailman decided not to check my apartment or leave me a message asking if I still lived here. He also didn't leave me a message informing me that my mail wasn't being picked up enough. I noticed one day that that the only mail I was receiving was junk mail.

    I contacted Jessica the supervisor at our downtown post office to see what was happening. I was informed that my mailbox was tagged as vacant because my mail hadn't been picked up for over a week or more. This is not true and I tried to explain this to the post office. I explained how I never got a notice from the mailman. He didn't even hold.my mail. The mailman needs to check before making a decision on his own that a person has vacated their apartment. This shouldn't be so easy to do. Like I said the downstairs tenants mailbox is right next to mine and she talks to the l mailman regularly. Because she sits on the porch for hours smoking. But he never asked her. I don't know how the mailman could tell if my apartment was vacant since my apartment is upstairs and the entrance is out back. You can't see anything unless you go around back and l through a locked fence.

    My friend had been helping me when she could as was my brother by picking up my mail and bring it up to me. But everyone got sick with covid and for three days my mailbox did not get checked. When it finally did my friend found a vacant sign on the outside of the box. There was some junk mail. I couldn't go down to the post office directly because I was under covid isolation. So I called them and talked to a john. I was able to answer his questions and prove I still lived here.

    My mail was supposed to start being delivered again the next day. This was the end of October. I had two days where it looked like my mail was being delivered. But then I got an email from my insurance company asking me for a forward address. I explained what happened and gave them my driver's license and proof I still resided at this address. I was able to return the vacant card with my name and address on it. By this time I was getting in to trouble with metropolitan housing voucher program for return mail and not informing them I supposedly moved. So down to the post office I went this time I talked to a woman named Jessica. She had me fill out more paperwork and promised me the issue would be resolved. By this time it was now the beginning of December and I had important mail coming around the twenty seventh.

    I report this to everyone in there. And I waited and nothing changed. Nothing. My mail was still being send back to sender because they still had me down as moving without a forward address. I called and went down to the post office again and begged Them to get my mail back they told me they couldn't do that. So I had to report the same thing. I've been repeating now for over close to four months. The mail I was waiting on also got sent back to sender even after I filed a complaint. there was no reason why my mail wasn't being delivered to my apartment. I was waiting for help from family so I could get some food. My Christmas gifts where also send back to sender. I have filed a complaint with the the Ohio post office and they are supposed to do an investigation. In the meantime I have no money, no food and my lose my food stamps, ssdi and medical. This is not right and someone needs to pay for the hardship I've been put through.

    Terri, the clerk looked for my package and claimed it was not there, so then she sent me to another USPS location indicating that the package was there. I arrived at the location only to be told it was at the 401 NE 136th Ave Vancouver 98684 location, which was where I was previously. So, basically I've been playing "hide and go seek" with these imbeciles in attempt to pick up my package! Then, returned back to the 401 location with the printed sheet of all the package scans that the other location printed out for me as proof of tracking activities. Even the employee at: 2700 Caples Ave Vancouver Wa 98661 told me to ask for someone other than Terri to assist upon my return, which said a lot about her competence level regarding her job. At first, I wasn't sure why he said that, until she proved him right after my second visit.

    Then, I asked to speak to a Supervisor (Pam) and explained the entire situation to her, but she was very rude. USPS lost an extremely important package of mine by sending it to the wrong zip code. I reiterated the situation to Pam again, but she expressed absolutely no empathy and was unbearably unapologetic. At one point she even shrugged her shoulders (no joke), so then I gave her a piece of my mind in front of her colleagues and customers. I made sure that "everyone" knew what was going on. Even the other customers that witnessed the situation sympathized with me. That lady Pam should NOT be a Supervisor, or employed for that matter. I had to coach her and her colleague Terri on how to do their jobs in front of everyone! Pathetic. Also, I asked Pam for the complaints contact information, but she walked away and never returned

    I have literally chased this package around for a month, only to find out that they sent it to Atlanta to the "lost" package center. This was absolutely the WORST experience that I've ever had with USPS. I will no longer utilize their services moving forward, unless I absolutely have to. Next step, I will be reporting this horrible experience to Consumer Affairs. Oh, and they rejected my refund request on top of it all! Thank goodness there's FedEx and UPS! I will be utilizing their services moving forward.

    There is a reason the USPS has not shown a profit in over 15 years! They are out of touch with how the modern world uses their service and couldn't care less. In our area were have frequently seen the following problems... Carriers marking mail as delivered and waiting until the next day to actually do it, not delivering or picking up mail for days at a time, marking mail as undeliverable just so they can deliver it the next day instead, frequent (and I mean FREQUENT) packages and mail being delivered to the wrong addresses, lost and late packages, toxic and rude staff, uneducated and untrained personnel.... and the list goes on.

    So if the USPS wants to get to the root of the problem USPS (which I know they don't), it's not staff shortages or funding as they so LOVE to claim. it's their own lackluster policies, uncaring blind eye practices, and lackadaisical way they do business with the public that is bringing them down. We simply do not want to use their service because they almost always mess it up - simple as that. If I ever have a choice, I will always pick the alternative.. Even DHL is better than the USPS!

    My packages seem to take the scenic route being delivered to me. My main post office is in Pompano Beach, FL. My most recent package spent 6 days in Colorado traveling a total of 80 miles (Fort Collins to Denver to Aurora), then made its way to Miami two days later, on to Opa Locka, FL, back to Miami again, then to Pompano Beach. You think its journey would be done, but no, now it is in Homestead, FL. It is ridiculous how many people have handled this one package and the amount of resources that have been wasted driving this package around. P.S. I still have not received my package. 11 days in transit.

    I have friends and family that work for USPS, and for the majority of workers, they're just doing their job, and trying to deliver the best results possible. However, the USPS is a big machine that envelops both its workers and customers into a bureaucracy with no accountability. With that said, as consumers we have to realize that things don't always go perfectly, accidents happen, and the best way to a happy ending is through a team approach to finding a solution.

    As consumers, we also have expectations that should be met, without question. When things do go wrong, we expect the vendor to accept responsibility and put forth their best efforts to politely work to a satisfactory solution. I know that's not too much to ask for. I receive a lot of packages from vendors, and they use various shippers, including USPS. Unfortunately, the only packages that I have ever lost were handled but the USPS, and it happens all too frequently. This loss of shipments (and who knows how many letters) in any other business would be intolerable, but the admins at the USPS act like they are immune from any recourse.

    Two horrible consequences for me, and all of the other poor souls that are victimized by USPS negligence, are as follows:

    1) The handler brings a box of mail into my UPS Store, which are supposedly individually scanned before being dropped off, however, on way too many occasions, my parcels were not in that bin, even though my shipment is now marked as delivered. The problem is that now the vendor believes that I received my package and won't give me a refund. Even if they believe me, they can't file a claim, because according to the USPS, the package was delivered... So I am out of my shipment, and the money I paid for it.

    2) You literally have NO recourse. USPS will never take responsibility, no matter how many supervisors you speak to, or investigations you try to initiate. According to them, "The Package Was Delivered" and they will even show you the GPS information to prove it. Well on more than one occasion I was standing right there when a handler (mailman) dropped of a bin of mail and packages that one of my anticipated packages was supposedly in, but after a thorough inspection of the bin, my package was nowhere to be found.

    I spoke to one administrator on the phone, and when he couldn't argue my factual account, he "Accidentally" hung up on me. So, I went to visit the USPS office that handles my shipments, and they, of course, recited the company talking points, assuring me that my package was delivered, oh and again, here is the GPS proof. Well as for their proof that the package was delivered, let me restate…

    - I witnessed the bin being delivered.
    - I went through the bin, and my package was Not in the bin.

    - 4 weeks later, the USPS miraculously delivered my missing package.

    BTW out of the many unaccountable missing shipments the USPS was responsible for, at least 3 of them mysteriously showed up weeks later, and one showed up 6 months later. The fact that they eventually found, and delivered my missing package (without any explanation, or apology) proves that they had it all along. Furthermore, my evidence proves that They Were Wrong, their GPS "Evidence" is nothing more than a Cover Story, and they don't care about Customer Service in the Least. Very sad for anyone that has to go through this. We should stick together and make our voiced heard otherwise these bureaucratic machines will continue to roll over us.

    We paid extra for priority mail of an envelope - not even a package. It took over 8 days to arrive even though they advertised 2 day priority mail. We had dropped this envelope off in the Post Office itself. We stood in line at the post office for a long time to see about a refund for our extra postage (around $10.00). The postal worker said the priority mail we paid extra for was not guaranteed in any way whatsoever. That is, paying extra does not mean they will treat priority mail differently from regular mail.

    In our experience, the USPS takes money for services they DO NOT RENDER. They provide an expectation of faster delivery, but the mail is not handled any differently from regular postal mail. So this is an example of a scam. If you advertise a service you have NO INTENTION of providing, yet take a premium in payment from people - you are, BY DEFINITION, a scammer.

    What else can I say? When they don't deliver, you may take it or leave it—this is the best illustration of monopolizing a service. Used their services to send a "legal" document that was certified with a tracking number and a return receipt. Name it. The staffer "assured" me that the item—a letter, in this case—would reach its destination in three to four days. The fact that the tracking information is still the same after 13 days indicates that they are not even aware of the item's location. Any option? Nope, just ask for a reimbursement for the unfulfilled service. You "trust" them, use their services in accordance with recommendations, and yet they fail.

    I was charged $121 per am international package for my aged mother in India. After 20 days, the package which did not even leave California, was returned saying I used the word ‘accessories’ on the customs form. They did not provide any refund. There was no option to correct the entry and resend the package. Grievance filed my USPS mail to the postmaster general and consumer advocate with proof was not even acknowledged. USPS crushed the holiday for an old mother eagerly waiting for the package. Terrible customer service.

    To begin with, today is Tuesday and it is 7:15 p.m. I have letters in my box that have been there since 11:30 this a.m. They have not been picked up and people on my route as far as 5 miles before my mail is to be picked up have received no service today. And this is a common occurrence for Route 1. I have no knowledge of the other routes but there will be day of no delivery and then days of late delivery with very little mail. I was a mail carrier for 11years and this was unheard of. I worked as a clerk for 13 years until my retirement and this is utterly ridiculous.

    I object to being subjected to USPS’ deceptive surveilling done via surveys.

    For example:

    1) Delivered to our mailboxes, USPS’ solicitation for part taking in its online “Customer Experience Survey” contains a login ID and a password to be used. This makes every Experience Survey taker identifiable by the association of login ID and a password entered at survey with one’s home address to which they were delivered.

    USPS - this company complains about losing money. Recently my package was shipped from Indiana and finally made it to Syracuse, NY. en route to Guilford, NY. Instead, it sat a day in Syracuse then routed to Rochester and was there for two days. Still not sure what the status is as the package was due for delivery Dec. 1st and today is Dec. 5.     I have waited a full week for what the USPS says is 3 day mail. I still have no idea where the letter is. I had one letter from Daytona to Atlanta take 7 business days. I know now to not count on the mail to get anywhere in a week now. The new leadership appointed has slowed the system down and created a cluster F staff of post office is always nice, but their system to ship mail is about useless if you really need something mailed.

    I have had more than two instances now where USPS has just blindly decided not to deliver my mail or ship the products because they just didn’t feel like it. Worse part is that their customer service is also very bad. Day before yesterday I was on call with the customer service for help and she just ended up being arrogant.     Why would a package that is supposed to be delivered come to your local post office and then shipped 50 miles away instead of being delivered. This is a joke of a way of doing business. I was tracking my package and was stated it was at my local post office and would be delivered on November 12, I knew that wouldn’t happen because November 12 was a Sunday. When I checked next it said it would be delivered on November 13 so I checked the updates and instead of being delivered it was shipped 50 miles west. Now it will have to be shipped 50 miles back. Maybe I will get it by Christmas.

    Sent a priority envelope with a signature required. The package contained sensitive documents I waited 11 weeks to be processed. The mail carrier at: Alpharetta Carrier Annex - Post Office 1295 Bluegrass Lakes PKWY STE A Alpharetta, GA 30004-9998 failed to deliver the package to the home addressed on the package to obtain the signature. Instead she forged the signature and typed in a erroneous name for the receiver section. It was determined she was standing in front of the community mailbox at the time she signed for the package and not at the residence. Then she placed the envelope in the wrong mailbox.

    My package has been lost since 9/8/2023 and was never turned in. I wrote the Chief Postal Inspector, **, a letter which I never received a response. I also sent Ms. **, Inspector General, a letter. No response. I submitted 6 different service requests requesting a manager contact me. They do not contact you back. Instead they close out the service requests. Horrible customer service all the way around!!! Now I have to repeat this 11 week process all over again. I will be using DHL or FedEX for important documents moving forward. Zero confidence in USPS.

    In Royal Palm I was looking for a standard large package cover. But what they had was an express priority cover. I put my package in and stood in line to make my payment and mail. The weight was about 1 pound and was charged close to $50. I was little bit shocked, but was told it would reach next day, would be handed over to a person at the address for his/her signature and it's also insured for $100 if does not reach or delivered on time. I was looking at the tracking and it was blank, so I went to the post office to complain. I was told it was put in the mailbox and I had to ask the person it was addressed to go to the local post office and ask about the package. In this busy world who has the time to investigate to find about the lost item and claim the insurance?! I was not happy with USPS when they put the responsibility on us. It would be better if they don't give false promises and genuinely give disclaimers.

    Do not use express overnight delivery. On day 3 and still hasn't got to destination. Use different company if you need to get there when it is supposed to. Will save you the headache especially if it is absolutely necessary to get there and you pay extra for that service but USPS doesn't care. I could have sent regular mail if I wanted it to get there in this time but I paid extra to ensure express delivery.

    the USPS carrier sign for my expensive package and left. Individual cause loss my package. The tracking note said sign by my name. Also the delivery proof show the carrier signature.     THE USPS IS A JOKE!!!! My sister posted me a package from United Kingdom on the 9/15/23. It has been over a month and I have still not received the package. It shows on the tracking it arrived in Austin 10/2 and departed the US Regional facility. And then on the 10/6/23 it says in transit to next facility and the package is moving within the USPS network. It has BEEN OVER A MONTH now.     I have saved all of my certified labels. Most all of them have been late up to 6 weeks. The last was priority, delivered 9 days later? One letter lost 10 months ago. The people at the post office are confused as to the services. News articles of truckloads of dumped mail. The service is negate of responsive conversation as to call the central line is a portrayal of virtual rebuttal. Rain, shine, sleet or snow. USPS? The lack of moral character, dedication and responsibility are a lingering reminder of the escalated expense.

    We went to the post office and spoke with a wonderful woman who helped us with hand cancelling our wedding invitations. However, the wonderful interaction stopped there. We put in a lot of research, MONEY, and effort to make sure that our beautiful (expensive) invitations with their wax seals were properly paid for to avoid returns and that there was an extra level of care. Half of our guests have sent us pictures with our wax seals torn off of their envelopes and this is after it taking 14 days from dropping them off to start delivering to people. Don't waste your money for special care and make sure that you can send your invitations with a basic forever stamp. NJ USPS sucks.

    So this has been happening for some while, packages have either not been delivered by USPS or they have been damaged by USPS. I requested that nothing is sent through my Amazon account through USPS and yet it has. Their drivers are lying. Their driver said that she couldn’t make a delivery because there is no access to my apartment. Mind you there’s a big old parking lot in front of it, that’s a lie. They will not deliver anything package wise to my apartment when I specifically put it in the delivery instructions to deliver it to my apartment, or to hand it to specifically me. (Mind you I’ve seen a few USPS employees, handing packages to other tenants at my apartment complex at their door.)

    If I could leave them a zero star review and absolutely just abolish the USPS completely, I would in a heartbeat, because it is the use the most useless postal system, a huge waste of money and not to mention I’m not the only one seeing it, a bunch other people are leaving reviews similar to this, so if that is happening that begs the question, why is it happening countrywide? If it’s happening countrywide, it’s obviously got to be the entire company, right? Anyways, enough of my rant, don’t go through USPS. I am going to make sure that anything that I get delivered from now on never goes with them again. I am so tired of not getting my packages. Mind you these packages are usually between 100 and $500 apiece, so is irritating.

    I WILL NOT ever ship fragile heavy items ground advantage ever again. I have been shipping for over 17 years and had my first damaged item. Heavy cast iron that was packed safely, should not have been damaged. With all the bubble wrap and foam around it, it had to have been shoved between 2 other boxes with great force for that type break to occur. It took an entire 30 days for them to deny my claim, based on an inspection at the receiving post office, giving me no recourse. I have had postal employees tell me they expect claims to go up because of how ground advantage is shipping small and large items together and USPS is going to nitpick claims. I am disgusted, but not surprised considering the idiot who is over it now…

    The USPS has got to be one of the worst managed entities of all time in my personal experiences. Out of the last 43 packages I have had sent to me 9 were either lost or missent and three packages damaged. The USPS wants more money from the federal government, they want to increase shipping fees but still remain one of the worst shippers I have come across. I use Fedex and the UPS shippers all the time but the USPS, well, the worst. Fedex- 29 packages NONE lost. UPS- 107 packages NONE lost, 1 damaged. I try my very best to choose suppliers who do not use the USPS but sometimes there are no other choices so I grit my teeth and know what is coming. I can not recommend the USPS for ANY shipping.

    My package was misshipped to the wrong post office in my area... 3 days with no update on the tracking as it sat and sat... I called my local post offices and they filed a report for the main hub which the item was returned to (15 miles away).... I received a call from my post office where the item was to be sent and no one was able to say: "I will contact the hub and clear the issue up"... It was like, "We just have to wait and if the package does not move by tomorrow, call us back...." Are you kidding me!! Item was shipped from Ohio to California! It has been 12 days now!

    I have a package headed for my place of employment that requires a signature. They tried to deliver at 9:30 this morning and failed because "Business was closed delivery will be attempted tomorrow." Tomorrow? How about in an hour and a half when the business opens? They're just gonna show up at 9:30 again? The only service in the country you have no control over, you can't provide input. You have to basically just pray the weather is right and everything works out for the postal service or else you can have your mail.

    If you believe you have your package covered in your Click-N-Ship, beware or any insurance they offer. The post office offers $100.00 coverage for free on the first $100.00, but they do not honor this insurance. I sent a half envelope to my bonus son for his birthday. The envelope was ripped open, contents removed and then it was delivered empty. They claim they didn't steal it, well please explain to me who did? You had possession of this item from the time I put in the box until it was delivered to the other box. So please enlighten me on who did it. The gave a few dollars and basically said F.O. I won't be using them any longer. I would rather wait and see the people I care about than to give you one more penny of my money. Be aware, they don't care! If you insure something for a specific amount, you expect to collect on this insurance that you have purchased, right? For that amount, right?

    I never for 30 years in USA was upset with USPS. But since 2021 in local 10463 my mail is tampered and stolen on regular basis for 21 months by Manager O ** and his few staff accomplices. The tampering of my mail related to a fraudulent deregulation of building which was for decades affordable housing of NYC. Post office workers are being bribed and doing a felony of mail theft. The case was confirmed by DC headquarters, closed, and mail theft is continue.

    My human rights are neglected by USPS. Not only mine, same most infamous realtors have a scheme: many low income tenants being evicted while never received eviction notices, even 14 days eviction notices and Marshal notices, it is known by attorneys who are checking in courts if clients have eviction cases. Shame on USPS to not stop such felony in massive amount. There is no personal insults in this review but only truth and desire USPS would preserve human rights for information. Alas I am avoiding now any purchase through USPS, I am using any carrier but never ever USPS now.

    United States Postal “Service”? The post office delivered to the wrong address, a package from Amazon worth hundreds of dollars. Today, I realized that our postal system is in really bad shape with bad policies and bad leadership. The post office admits to delivering it to the wrong address and even showed me their internal tracking to that address. They showered me with worthless apologies, but added since the package was not insured, they will not reimburse me or do anything about it. They did provide me with a “vendor letter” which states USPS made a mistake and with the letter and they hope that the vendor will pay to resend another unit. However, as far as UPSP, they will not pay for anything.

    I actually know where the package was delivered. However, the people at that address have not contacted me or left the package at my address. If an uninsured package gets damaged or parts are missing, I understand their policy of no reimbursement. However, since they know that they delivered it to the wrong address, in my opinion, it is their fault and they should replace the item regardless if the package was not insured.

    I spoke with them on their toll-free line and they said they are sorry but everybody makes mistakes. I agreed, everyone does make mistakes but there are consequences for mistakes. If they can misdeliver to an address without any consequences, then what’s to keep them from being careless with packages or even outright stealing packages? Certainly, you would think they would at least track things like that on a monthly dashboard to see how well their “service” is working.

    When the guy said there is nothing else he can do (as if he actually did something), I made a promised to him, that I would spread the word about their poor “service”, bad policies, and lack of leadership. He told me to go ahead and say whatever I want to and then asked if there was anything else he could “help” me with. He did say I could speak with the post master of the Cedar Elm Post Office to see if he would make an exception. I asked him how do I contact him? He said I would have to make an appointment. I asked him how do I make an appointment? He said I would have to drive to the post office to make an appointment in person.

    So that means, I would have to drive there to make an appointment and then dive back again for the appointment. No emails, texts, chats, or anything remotely resembling modern communications. That means my time and my gas money are on me. I did try to call the local phone number that appears at the bottom of the vendor letter. It rang a bunch of times and then just stopped ringing with no voice mail. I spent a ton of time and the UPSP did nothing but give me apologies for losing a package worth $250.

    This been a long time coming for me to write this review since the USPS is not doing anything to solve my issues and it keep happening. I don't understand why a company like this will have a poor customer service. My packages have been stolen on several occasions and it starting to make me angry because these are business delivering of worth $300 every time and every time I called; they will ask you to file a complaint (FYI: the complaint they never do anything about). I will pay $12 - $15 each time to mail my complaint form that will never get resolved and at the end, I will give up and forget about the whole thing. Now again today as of 8/16/2023, my package says delivered like always and it was never delivered. Mind you I have a ring camera in front/every corner of my house and I live in a good, safe neighborhood. My package said it was delivered and it wasn't.

    And I have been calling USPS since 8/14/2023 and they keep telling me their customer service number is busy and that they will call me back and they never did. I have not been able to speak to a real person only the computer and even when someone manages to pick up, they don't know what they are doing, and they will tell me to wait to be transferred to another customer service. And mind you, that new customer service doesn't know what they are doing or what to do either.

    I have proof of every package that has been stolen from me by USPS. I have every receipt and every order complaint. Other companies have proof of delivering with a picture of it when you track your packages and when it was delivered. But USPS don't and that makes it easy for them to steal your package every time. I just spoke to a Woman named Bridget and she was so nice; I have never spoken to anyone at the post office that was that professional and knows what they are doing, and she paid attention to my complaint and promised to report my case for a follow up. I will be waiting to hear back and hope this gets resolved. And I will come back to update my review. This is my first review on USPS because this pattern is getting out of hand. Thanks.

    The latest switch to Ground Advantage is a nightmare for shippers. Not only is it costing more money to ship, the delivery times have increased by a huge amount. It used to take 5 days to ship a first-class package from PA to CA. Now I am seeing 10-day travel times as the norm, 2 weeks! Packages are traveling to their destination only to be sent back to their origin and resent, adding weeks to delivery time. A package from PA to UT has been in transit for over 2 weeks, having arrived in Utah after 6 days only to be returned to PA where it has been sitting for over 3 days. Horrible service that has become a joke. It looks like DeJoy will be privatizing the Post Office as he has been planning. The only way to fix it is to kill it!

Background - been living in Colorado Springs for 9 years and service here has been worse of all States I lived in - 6 States.     We spent the last few years looking for a Lladro Figural piece from Spain called "Fox Hunt". When it was discontinued in 2014 it sold for $10,000.00 and in some instances it sold for $15,000.00.     On June 14, 2023, a package with tracking number ** was mailed going from Los Angeles, CA 90043 to Cypress, TX 77433. The package never made it to its destination. What came was a note from the Post Office stating, We Care, and a bunch of lying gibberish below. The contents of the package was missing. That tells me that someone at the within the Post Office stole the contents of the package and kept it for themselves. Thieves. The sender deserves to be compensated for the contents of the package which is $50, and also reimbursed for the postage which is $10.20. This is unacceptable and will be reported to Consumer Affairs, and I don't care if people get called to the carpet, everyone needs to be help accountable for this. I will not stop until this is corrected, and the sender is compensated. The people within the Post Office is a joke, lazy, thieves, and just plain awful.

    I sold something on Mercari. I packaged it up and took it to my local USPS. It sat there for days, not being scanned. I called on 05/26 and spoke with someone who stated it was scanned internally on the 20th, but called later and told it was scanned on the 30th. My sale had already been cancelled as they didn't think I shipped it. On the 26th, I was informed that it would be returned back to me. It was not. They delivered it to the person and Mercari and USPS is refusing to pay me for my goods. The person blocked me and ultimately received my product for free. USPS didn't even attempt to make it better. I really hate the post office. They don't care about their customers nor their jobs. I still want my compensation for their mess up.

    USPS service varies from excellent to failure. 10% to 12% of first class, priority or certified mail items are delayed or opened by others. The longest delay was one year. I recently a found an opened letter containing a large amount payment check stuck in my front door. A gift certificate was delivered opened in our PO box several years ago - the certificate was for $100 & anybody could have used it - a careless but honest person opened my letter.

    The latest problem is a letter sent via USPS First Class, Certified Mail to a business 125 miles from our home on June 2, containing a large amount check. USPS tracking indicated a delivery date of 5 June. Normally, I would be patient & expect a 5-10 day period for a 125 mile surface delivery but bad USPS experiences make me think item was either lost or stolen. The receiving business receives large amount payments & my letter could have been tagged as containing bank account or credit account info that could have been used for fraudulent purposes. I never send sensitive info via USPS and used a bank check without account or credit card info. Today is June 7 and no indication of delivery. "The item is late but enroute..." I recently shipped 4 high value items via Priority Mail with no problems but delivery did not involve surface transit thru many small-town post offices.

    I had my elderly parents stay with me for the winter. When they moved back into their home they made a change of address request at their local post office. Shortly after this was done I come to find out via the mail that they changed the address for the whole home which included myself. I immediately contacted USPS customer support about this issue. I was told that my parents would have to go back to their local post office and redo the change as individuals. In the meantime the customer service agent told me she would email my local post office to ensure that my mail would continue to be sent to my address. Two weeks pass and I have no mail. I make another call to customer service expressing my frustration. I explain the story again and I was advised that it would be taken care of.

    I was told that it was shown that my parents did make the address change to individuals and I should start receiving my mail. Yet again, another message would be sent to my local post office. This time I received emails that the situation was handled and should begin to receive my mail. Here we are almost a month later and I have yet to receive any mail. I asked the kind woman on the phone what the next step was if I continued to receive no mail. She advised me to contact Consumer Affairs. My informed delivery has stopped and I have a month worth of mail that is nowhere to be found. PLEASE SOMEONE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!

    On several occasions I have had issues with either receiving an empty package delivered or a package not being delivered at all, but states that it was either picked up Individually or delivered. No help at all when you file a claim. They so call review the case and assign a case number. Within a few days I received an email stating that there was nothing that they could do about it. The 2nd incident they wanted me to bring the empty package to the Post Office. My leasing office has the Postal Worker delivering the empty opened package to the mailroom. At this point I am so done with USPS. I think that USPS has hired a lot of thieves.

    People work hard and spend their hard earned money on items to only get them stolen by the vicious Postal Workers. I really hope the Office of the Inspector General would take these cases to another level by really reviewing the cameras and spending more money on a better surveillance system to eliminate the thievery that takes place at the Post Office.

    The Lehi, Utah United States Postal Service routinely provides terrible service. Most recently, I looked up a tracking number for a delivery that was overdue. The USPS global system said that my package (weighing only a few ounces) was undeliverable and that I needed to come down to the local post office to pick it up. It was an important package I needed for work, so I left my office (30 miles away from the Lehi Post Office) to pick it up. After driving there and waiting in line, I was told that it was on a truck out for delivery and that they would update the status online.

    This is one of several recent negative experiences. It really seems that they don't realize that their job is to deliver mail. Communication is terrible. I went on their website to provide feedback which is impossible because they updated the status of the package and it shows that delivery is on schedule and that they communicated this to the customer. As if telling me after they changed I went to the post office was good communication and that a website that does not allow feedback for a resolved issue is good service.

    Having an online business and shipping via USPS for 20 years, I finally had to process an insurance claim from an ebay order that was not delivered. Went thru all the channels and trying to located the package and speaking with USPS in the district, told the package was not scanned and "lost" and to file a claim since this was a Priority mail insured small flat rate box. Refunded my customer on ebay and filed my claim, turning in documents from my ebay sale that clearly showed the seller, the buyer, the address and the tracking number. After a few weeks, received a letter from USPS, DENIED, told that I did not have enough evidence of the value, even though the items in question were sold for over $150 and their max insurance was $100. Even though it clearly stated the total the buyer paid.

    Printed out more documentation from ebay, sent the appeal with all my info, including printed docs of the money taken out of my account to pay this ebay customer back. Waited another 2 weeks, DENIED. Seriously a waste of all my time and efforts, USPS does not do enough locally to meet with people so that they can look thru and explain or understand people's documentation, and they clearly do not understand how Ebay works. Super disappointed and a total waste of my energy. USPS knows they lost my package, so they collected on the fees I paid for an undelivered package, know they lost it but because they cannot decipher how much the value is even though you have provided it, they will just deny you and case closed. Obviously I still need to ship, but I will try shipstation insurance instead.

    USPS Plano, Tx claims it delivered my package and left it with an individual. They show no name nor actual address where they claim to have delivered my package to. To make matters worse, they say they have 14 days to investigate. This means, I will be without my vehicle for another month due to their shoddy, unprofessional so-called delivery service and they could NOT CARE LESS! Never again!!!

    Some complain about the recent price hikes with USPS. Well let's look at a 3 cent increase X 10 envelopes you mail per month. Equals 30 CENTS. Now compare that to the 3 trips you make to your coffee place, per month. Keeping it simple. Coffee was $1.99, now $2.39. Those 3 trips just cost you $1.20 more. A 12 pack of soda was $6.59 in January, now $8.99, a $2.40 cent increase. I can go on & on & on. No one likes price hikes, but 30 cents is way better than the others I mentioned and the other 100-500 items you buy each and every MONTH. Just saying.

    So I had 250 dollars stolen from me. When I told USPS they said it was the third party sender. They can’t do anything about trying to redeliver package because they dropped it off but it has no address where it was delivered? How is there no street address you can give me? And how come the usps doesn’t have my name and address I have informed delivery. Sounds to me like even if went through third party the usps had been in on the scam either way. That’s ** theft.

    USPS seems to have an issue posting where packages are. For example: Sunday night, April 9, a package was shown in Connecticut. At 1:32 AM on Monday, April 10, it was supposedly in Fife, WA. By 4:11 AM it was back in Connecticut (?), then at 10 AM it was in Kentucky! The tracking system for the USPS is obviously a problem. The package is supposed to be in Ocean Shores, WA by tomorrow, but according to the tracking it is going on a journey!

    So, I ordered this rare plant from Canada on Etsy (US), paid for first class shipping, and I was super excited to get it. But guess what? It took more than a freaking month to arrive and when it finally did, it was totally dead! Second experience with USPS, I ordered some perfume samples from the states and paid some extra bucks for first-class shipping again, and my order has been chilling in the local facility for a freaking week now for absolutely no reason!!!     It's so sad to see how far the USPS has fallen. I ordered a product from Amazon and I didn't realize it was going to be delivered by USPS. It was suppose to be delivered yesterday and all day. On Informed Delivery it said my package was out for delivery and would arrive by 8pm. Well 8 pm came and went no delivery. When I checked again after midnight there was a message in big red letters saying Alert Awaiting Delivery Scan. So now it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. My question is how does the status of from out for delivery to Waiting for Delivery Scan? It's so sad I don't get my mail sometimes until 6-7 o'clock PM and every Package that has been shipped to me from USPS is never delivered on the day it's suppose to be delivered.

    I didn't get my delivery upon the initial delivery or second attempt. It's difficult to contact customer service. Through phone OR E-MAIL. It's difficult to get a real person on the phone and even sending an E-mail has so many hoops that I just gave up on the waste of time that is even sending an E-mail to a real person. I was contacted by USPS and given instructions to get a refund for my package, and then I followed the instructions and the website told me I couldn't file a claim because my purchase wasn't insured. This is when I tried to E-mail USPS rather than get back on the phone and even that is wasting so much of my god damn time. I will never get what I ordered, nor will I get a refund.

    I only made an order through Amazon, which used USPS as my carrier. I'm going to go out of my way to make sure that USPS is not my carrier from now on. I at least know that when your package is scanned by UPS your phone receives a text. All I needed was a god damned text and I would answer my door. I am on the 5th floor of an apartment building, but a bell is only rung for the 1st floor. And someone is usually home down there, if they actually rung that bell, my package would've been received. I was going to have something delivered monthly. What the hell is the point if I can't receive my **?

    USPS are responsible for stealing valuable jewelry and refusing to reimburse the insured purchase. It has been 8 months dealing with this . They even stated they lost the certified letter with the appraisal of the jewelry.     I always have a bad experience when shipping a package via Priority Mail. When shipping priority mail, you expect the package to get to its destination within 2 to 3 days, especially if it's the next state over. I have never had a package arrive on time. Lesson learned, no more shipping priority and paying the high price, better yet, I'll start using UPS, maybe more, but at least I know my package will get there on time.

    On Jan 30, 2023 I went to the USPS post office located on 5th Ave Brooklyn (Sunset Park) to send a priority mail package to my cousin. The contents of the envelope included credit cards, NYS ID, certified documents and post office mailbox key. The package was to be delivered to an address in Puerto Rico (Hatillo, Puerto Rico 00659). It is now Feb 22, 2023 and my package has not been delivered. I have placed over 5 "Lost package" complaints on the website, spoke to a number of customer service reps and no one has been able to tell me what happened to my package.

    The most frustrating part is that I get an email almost every day telling me the route of my package from an email, "Statuspnr.In" my package has been all over the place but has yet manage to make its destination. I have called and also placed a "Missing package" complaint adding once again the address that was already on the label. USPS cannot give me any answers to a package I paid priority mail for!!! Can someone explain to me how a package is en route to Carolina, Puerto Rico on the 18th of February, then 1 hour later I get another status saying it is in Atlanta. Priority mail is 3 days!!! That is all it should have taken!

    What happened here? Why can anyone give me answers to a package with a tracking number!?? This is insane and I need this package delivered to my cousin as it contains valuable information that she needs. My missing package tracking #**. Can someone please get me a status on this package and check the numerous complaints I have already placed on the website.

    Package delivered to me was damaged by USPS. Took the package to a local USPS location to have the packaging material and item inspected. While the packaging was considered more than adequate, the inspector warned me in advance that USPS doesn't pay a majority of their damage claims. In the end my claim for damage was NOT paid. I will never, ever again, send a package through USPS, nonetheless pay for insurance if they aren't going to pay for damages they caused. No wonder USPS is losing business. Wonder why??

    I was to receive live baby chicks on February 10 2023. I received a call that evening from a post office in N Carolina. The chicks were delivered there. It was their final destination. I live in Kentucky. How they got shipped to N Carolina I have no clue. I called USPS in Washington DC. I was told the package was never sent out. If the package was never sent out how did I receive the above mentioned phone call? My phone number was on package for me to pick up. So I have no idea where my package of live chicks are. Chicks are most likely deceased by now. I was given a tracking number but that package wasn’t traceable for some reason.

    Mailed several pieces of certified mail from my post office. Went online daily to track progress. 3 pieces gave the response "arriving late, in progress in the system". One piece of mail had a check enclosed. The only way I know it was received is the canceled check posted. The other 2 never showed up as received. Requested help from postal service.     Purchased product from online sales professional. Seller quickly set up shipping with USPS and a label was created. Tracking the package USPS will not take responsibility for handling the package. Tracking number is **. Upon additional investigation, the seller worked with USPS to ship the item and all attempts to track the package, all USPS can provide is, “Label Created”. The seller has since sent another item because it’s their reputation the professionalism they wish to maintain. What a shame that USPS is so difficult to work with and takes NO responsibility for package handling. It’s a known problem and some day, the package might arrive at our location. BTW, the second package was sent by UPS. Personally, I avoid USPS because of poor performance and customer service.

    I sent a package to Germany more than 2 months ago using their international priority mail paying ~$100. It was in Germany customs for a month and for some reason sent back to the US. All the time I called USPS about my package, they said they had no control over the package once it left US soil. Once it was returned to the US, it was resent to Germany instead of being delivered to me! They cannot explain why it was resent when Germany refused to accept and deliver the package! I have called USPS many time and all they parrot is "we don't know why it wasn't delivered" or "we don't know why it was resent". No accountability! Never send a package abroad using USPS. Inefficient, horrible service and no accountability. Asking them to return my package is like banging your head against the wall. Use a private carrier like Fedex.

    I shipped a 40 lbs package to the Netherlands. Even though I stuck to the rules on the website, it got send back because of the batteries inside (which, again, I shipped the right way). Also I insured the package for $600, but according to the tracking site it was only insured for $200. Customer service for international shipments isn't good either. They only have the possibility to call them, but however I tried, the call never came through (I tried with multiple mexican simcards and with or without +1 at the beginning). So this company doesn't stick to their own rules, doesn't insure properly and is (to me at least) impossible to reach. I would not recommend their service to anyone.

    I moved into a rental home in August 2022, in Navarre FL. I have called into the postal service on 3 separate occasions to make a complaint in the past 5 months. I am receiving mail from a Michael ** and others, so much so that it loads my mailbox and I can't get my own mail. I have written "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS" and "RETURN TO SENDER" on about 40 letters over the months and the mailman refuses to take the assignment. I can't change his address online without a debit card. I don't know what else to do. The USPS told me that if it didn't get resolved after ALL this to make a Consumer Affairs complaint so here I am. I would like someone to contact me to resolve this issue.

    On December 15th I sent from Seattle one Priority Mail to a family member in Lessport, PA. containing to Christmas Cards for my niece and nephew with $ 300. each. The tracking showed it made it to the Philadelphia distribution terminal and then disappeared. No refund from the US Post Office when clearly in their possession. Their website should read: Looking for a temporary job over the holidays? Apply at the Postal Distribution center. Great benefits. Priority mail flat rate package generally contain money. Steal as much as you can. We at the post office provided no guarantee therefore have little to lose. Tell your friends. We need the help.

    USPS has mismanaged two of my packages. Today I received a text message saying my package was delivered to my front door. I open my door and there was no package. I went to check my mailbox No package!!! A week ago same thing happened. I ordered a box of contact lens which are small enough to fit in my mailbox, so why would any mailman walk to my door and put the contact lens package in front of my door when they can put it in my mailbox with the rest of my mail, I believe these employees are either stealing these packages or they’re just leaving them at the wrong place and the resident is taking them. They told me the package won’t scan if the mailman was at the wrong location and the scanner will not allow them to scan it… I do not believe that and I’m pissed about my packages!!’ I do not recommend them!!

    I was moving from NYC to California. I shipped 3 boxes of my belongings and they lost all 3 boxes. The total value of the stuff inside are $2000+. USPS did an investigation and did not find the boxes. They refused to give me any insurance money even though the boxes were insured. I do not understand how they are still in business while great shipping options like FedEx are around. If you are about your belongings, I urge you to stay away from this horrible company with horrible customer service and awful experience. DO NOT USE USPS IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANY OF YOUR STUFF. Use FedEx or Lugless instead for shipping larger boxes (low prices and great customer service). So disappointed and Lesson learned. I Will never use this horrible company ever again.     On May 6, 2021, the Postal Service Board of Governors decreased service performance targets for most of its mail classes from 2.8 to 26.6 percent. The Postal Service stated this was done to ensure the targets were meaningful and to account for the ongoing and unprecedented impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic... Am I the only one who notices a 950 percent decrease in Postal Delivery performance standards? My local PO is fine, my Postal Carrier is great but gutting the Postal Service infrastructure, increasing postal fees and worsening sub-standard service means only one thing Postal Service Board - you're heading toward putting yourselves and the USPS out of a job.

    By the way, what's with the redacted statistics in your published audit reports? Perhaps even with the embarrassingly abysmal delivery standards, Mr. DeJoy is still not delivering for America? On a personal note, via tracking, I notice much too frequently, mail and packages arriving in my local regional distribution center only to be shipped away in error rather than directed to my local Postal Office for delivery. Perhaps you don't realize; this inefficiency costs you more money AND displeases customers. Great work Mr. DeJoy - good progress in shuttering the USPS and Postal Service Board. Perhaps XPO Logistics will be USPS' successor?

    The United States Postal Service (USPS) has been on a steady decline for a long time. In my experience, they can't even deliver a package from Point A to Point B. A clerk once overcharged me because he mistakenly sent my package intended for the United Kingdom to Ireland instead. I had all the evidence to prove I was right and the internal USPS investigative team decided they were right. They are so corrupt, it's scary. Now, a postal employee has stolen a package with Christmas gifts worth $250 and I am being given the runaround about it. I plan to find out what happened and press charges.

    This entity is inefficient, disorganized, incompetent--at best! At worst, they condone and enable criminal behavior (theft) and abuse customers. We've had enough.     I placed an order from a company a while ago. I selected 1-3 business days for shipping and is coming from NC. This is by far the slowest shipping possible I have ever seen. It took 2 days to get to a town 30 min away and then sat there for a couple more days and then arrived at my post office for pickup which the tracking was "too long to read" by a worker and didn't want my last name to search for the package. Even though it got there at 4:13 am and it is now 4pm. 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my package. Do yourself a favor and choose UPS or FedEx.

    Over and over again, packages get "stuck" at some facility for days, or goes to the wrong facility, bounces back and forth, etc. They have zero service guarantees, pay for 2-day, probably will get there in 3-7 days. It used to be that a first-class item would go from coast to coast in 3 business days. Expect it in a week to 10 days.

    I had a package coming to me from China (we don't make things here). It took them 5 days to get the parcel to Los Angeles. Then, for 14 days, the parcel went to Irving TX, just 13 miles from my address, to Dallas TX, to Amarillo TX, to Coppell TX, back to Amarillo, then to Claude TX (just outside Amarillo) and finally to Arlington, but to the wrong distribution point, and finally "disposed of" within 10 hours of its receipt. No notice, no explanation. It was nothing illegal or dangerous, or perishable. Just DISPOSED of. Does that mean they destroyed it? Was it taken by an employee? I don't know, but it's gone and I'm out $85. I only found out about it when the sender asked for confirmation of receipt.

    My mail has been thefted for about a month now in the beginning of October 2022 and it is only financial mail that is being stolen. The local post office for my zip code manager continues to ** me and tell me it is not their fault. They clearly have mail carriers losing purposefully and or throwing away or stealing mail. The letter I was supposed to get was three letters that all said the same address. It is funny to me how no one realizes that it is me when they deliver everyone else’s mail that doesn’t even live there. USPS is garbage and I have even complained to consumer affairs the district office. I’m sure nothing will be don’t because they don’t care!

    There is a constant lost of content from the packages I mailed to my customers. Someone cut or rip the package off and pull out the content then deliver empty package to my customers. I filed so many cases in the past with USPS and have no result, they can't retrieve the contents. There is nothing you can do if the mailman is a thief, isn't it?

    This is the 2ND TIME USPS have lost COMMERCIAL TENANT MONTHLY LEASE PAYMENT CHECKS in the past four months!!! My commercial tenants of over 10 years faithfully send their monthly payment between the 26th and the 28th of each month then USPS scanned them and sent me a copy in my USPS informed mail notification system but then NEVER delivered them because they got lost in the USPS system or either the mail carrier delivered them to the wrong address (as they be delivering wrong mail to my address multiple times). Then when I file a complaint, their USPS representatives always just uncaringly tell me, “we don’t know where your mail is!” This is a major inconvenience as well as a problem! I wish the USPS could be forced to take responsibility for their incompetence!!!!

    I take care of my mom who is in Hospice at the age of 94 and so I am unable to get out to go shopping. So I place a lot of my purchases to be delivered directly to my house. I live in a townhouse complex and we have had numerous situations involving porch pirates. In fact I have had deliveries stolen off my front porch. So I went as far as having a sign made asking that all delivery people please ring the doorbell when placing deliveries on my front steps. Yet, the USPS delivery people don't feel that they should follow a simple request such as taking a minute to ring a doorbell and so they just drop the boxes and leave. Half the time I think it's because the boxe(s) have been damaged and there's hole(s) in them and they don't want to be confronted. When I speak to a supervisor regarding these issues, I get told that there is nothing they can do about it. So POOR service from the Postal Service, yet they continue to raise rates. Disgusting!

    Over the past ten years I have had plenty of pieces of mail go missing when sent to me AND when I have sent packages. Last year I sent a huge box to family in another state and it was never received or found and I had important items in there. This month, I was supposed to receive a package, the company sent another package and BOTH were sent back with "moved" on both labels. I have not moved, and I am still at the address that was on those packages. I once had a package I sent years ago to someone that did not get the package, but I got the top of the box that was ripped off and found in another state and papers to fill out back.

    This is getting ridiculous and none of this gets refunded especially with the huge prices that are being paid to send big packages. I don't know if some of your employees are stealing packages or just more careless and dropping them off wherever, but I will be not using USPS anymore and will use the other sending services. I am EXTREMELY upset.

    Lost my package multiple times and still blatantly put "delivered" in the tracking system. There are all sorts of tricky terms there to stop you filing a claim even if your package is insured. Customer service agents are the rudest I've ever dealt with in this industry.

    USPS is now a joke. Packages are routed to the wrong side of the country, destroyed, lost, or damaged. There seems to no pride in the job anymore. I'm very disappointed. And they're raising rates AGAIN? They don't deserve what they get now, based on the level of performance. I'm a seller on eBay, and rely on USPS to ship my stuff. In the past week alone, I've had 6 different people contact me, that their packages have not arrived. One package was supposed to go to New Jersey, from Missouri. How in the hell it ended up damaged in Bakersfield, California is anybody's guess. USPS needs a MAJOR overhaul of their practices, policies, and standards. I think I'll switch to UPS. Maybe I'll have better results.

    I'm giving USPS at least two stars because I feel that their team tried hard to resolve my issue. While USPS is necessary for domestic deliveries and shipments, I highly recommend using other services for international shipments. I believe you may be you'll have more of a guarantee with FedEx and possibly other services. I have used USPS many times in the past and had little problems, this last experience was hard to let go. I shipped an iPhone to my girlfriend in the Philippines costing over $1000, and it wound up missing and is still missing.

    I do want to make something clear that it could have gotten stolen in transit over seas, meaning that it could be out of the hands of USPS, but to keep in mind that shipping by FedEx once it arrives to the Philippines it is still controlled by FedEx where USPS has no more control after it leaves US borders. Please consider the risks. Save yourself the heartache.

    I’ve ordered from Etsy twice in the past week, both orders were confirmed, shipping labels made and tracked along the way. BOTH orders were ‘delivered’ to my mailbox but never actually arrived. USPS is the worst shipping company I’ve used in a while. This is nothing on Etsy, as the small business owners sent proof of orders/shipping labels.     I had the package sent overnight with USPS. The next day it was delivered but to the wrong address/room. I had to call customer service to locate the package. Well, customer service does not work at USPS. They have an automatic voice to transfer the customer and then hang up.     Yesterday, a delivery driver showed up while my dog was outside on a leash and my husband was standing in the doorway. The driver half way got out of his truck and then immediately got back in is truck before my husband could even step outside. We then get an update that the package is available for pick up at the post office. So Today, I got to the post office it was supposed to be delivered at only to be told they don't know where the package is, but it must be at the other office and gives me a phone number to call. Phone number just rings and rings and rings and then hangs up on you. So I drive over to the other post office for the rep to tell me that the delivery driver attempted to deliver and I said, "No that's a lie. I was standing right there." For the rep to then pop an attitude and go 'WELL, if a dog is there they won't deliver (which is a lie).' And then said 'I wasn't there so I don't know.' I was and I'm telling you what happened.

    They said that it was mislabeled and that it would be redelivered today. I then asked why the tracking information would tell me it's here for pick up, and he then said that they would go back and check. Man never returns, instead about 5 mins later another man walks up without introducing himself or who he was says that it was mislabeled and would be redelivered today and told me to leave. This is completely unacceptable and I completely wasted my time trying to hunt down this package because people cannot do their jobs and getting mad when they are called out for it. USPS has been useless for a while, but they are just completely pathetic now and a waste of time. Not helpful, unfriendly, defensive, rude. 10/10 don't recommend. Just use Fedex or Ups.

    Don't know about everyone else's shipping experience with USPS, but mine was the worst I've ever had. My friend used them, on the 20th May this year, to send me a package, containing Disneyland merchandise, from the US to Singapore. According to their tracking system in the first five days, they only created its label and it was transiting to the "next facility", without stating what this place exactly was. Then, the next update came 11 DAYS later on 3rd June which, to my horror, said the package had not even reached their customs facility! And again, no update for the FOLLOWING FOUR DAYS.

    I had to call USPS's service hotline, on the 8th, to ask where my package exactly was and their operator said they, unfortunately, sent it back to my friend as it couldn't be cleared for shipping. Then on the following day, We got UPS to ship our package instead since we didn't want to risk going through the same horrible experience with USPS. Fortunately, UPS cleared it without any issues and took only six days to deliver the package to me.

    Even now, we still don't know why USPS couldn't clear the package, when UPS easily could. But I can only think it's because they had too many other packages to ship ours. So, definitely don't use USPS for international shipments (especially urgent ones) since they might also make you wait for weeks and end up not delivering it at all.

    Totally worthless. Getting mail from PA to Norwich NY takes 10 to 14 days to get here. Also all the mail they never delivered or lost they go from PA to syracuse ny to binghamton. Come on you go by norwich ny to start with. They are idiots. I could drive and pick it up faster than they can deliver it. They don't care. No customer service whatsoever. It's the government. They are on a higher level not Zell to amazon to guys suck.

    I am writing this review simply because I was having a bad day and while driving back home, one of the drivers smiled and waved at me as we passed. He then repeated the process when we went our separate ways on the road. It was a sweet friendly interaction but it made my day brighter if even for a moment.     When the United States Post Office became the United States Postal Service, it was the beginning of the end of a good, dependable, affordable delivery service. This (dis)organization can't compete with the likes of UPS, FedEx, and Amazon when it comes to package delivery, and their first class mail delivery is about is pitiful. Why does it take a first class piece of mail 6 business days to get from Point A to Point B, less than 5 miles away in the same city. If this sort of delivery was an occasional thing, it could be excused, but it's now the norm. I foolishly sent a one page form to a niece 11 miles away within the same county on May 26, 2022 and here it is June 9, 2022 and she still hasn't received it. Even more foolishly, I spent almost $11.00 for a tracking number, and get tracking info that it's running late but is on its way to the next facility. Doesn't even say where this or that or the next facility is.

    "Customer" service? Oh, please! It's not CUSTOMER service, it's PROVIDER service, meaning communication between the customer and the provider/retailer is geared to their convenience, not the customer's. "We may or may not get back to you when and if we feel like it." Looking for good customer service? Try finding it in a mid 20th Century museum, 'cause it doesn't exist any more. And, BTW, who is the real world charges more for less service and expects to win friends and influence people? The USPS is run by a bunch of nitwits.

    On May 3, 2022, I sent a package to China. The only option is Priority Mail Express International. The cost is $76.20, and it supposes to be 3-5 days. It takes USPS 5 days to send to Chicago Airport and arrives on May 8. After three days of no activities. I called on May 11 to check the status. The USPS Rep informs me this status is normal, and she tells me to be patient. She will open a ticket to escalate my request. It is my mistake not to ask her for a case number. I waited for a week. There is no tracking movement. I called again on May 19; the USPS Rep informed me that she did not see an escalation case open for my package. This agent is kind enough to help me open a ticket and provide me with the ticket number. She did tell me to check back in 12 days. She also said that I could request a refund for the postage since the USPS did not deliver my package to the shipper in a timely manner.

    After the May 19 call, the package did leave the US for China. The tracking shows arrived on May 22. On June 2, I called USPS again to inquire about my package. This time the USPS Rep is not friendly at all. She said that the problem is not USPS. It is China's hold-up. I asked her why it takes five (5) days to get to the shipper in Chicago Airport since the service I paid for is 3-5 days. It should arrive at the shipper within three (3) days instead of five (5) days. She insists this is not a USPS issue. Also, she said no refunds for the postage since COVID-19 happened. The USPS is so poor that they need to cheat to get funds, and it is no different from a thief. As of today, my package is not yet delivered.

    Bought a P.O. Box online. Within hours of purchasing it online, I learned I wouldn’t be moving. I immediately contacted USPS by email asking to please close the P.O. Box and issue the refund. I did not hear anything back and learned I could close it myself online. I attempted to close it and the usps kept half of my money. I paid $88. Not even 48 hours later, as I cancelled online, the usps kept $44 of my money. The box was never used and no mail ever went there. I contacted usps within hours of opening the box to please close it and they are still refusing to give me my money.

    I mailed a small package to South Africa, and paid the maximum possible amount for the express mailing including insurance. I was told the package would reach my recipient in 3-5 days. I am now on day 31 and still waiting. From date of mailing, the package took 12 days to actually get into a plane leaving the US. After that, there was silence: My package just disappeared, with no updates in the tracking information. I have called USPS several times to try and get a sense of what is actually happening, and each time they provide unhelpful and incomplete information. They have just told me that their international team is conducting research. So I will just wait and wonder while they conduct their indefinite review.

    I have even inquired about a partial refund given that the package is over 25 days delayed (a week's delay would be reasonable). The kicker is that they have expressly told me that they do not offer refunds for excessive delays. So I can wait 60, 90 days or longer, and not get any credit for the inconvenience while using their "premium" service. So for anyone considering mailing a package, to South Africa, using any USPS, please be wary. If you can, go with more expensive courier services including Fedex, UPS or DHL: Trust me, you do not want the stress of dealing with USPS.

    Monday morning 5/16/22, I stopped by UPS in Bellevue to check how many days it will take to deliver A4 envelope with a notarized doc to Israel. The answer was 3 business days. Later the same day, Monday 05/16/22, of my way back from Olympia I stopped by UPS store in Kent to mail a package in Israel. I chose the fastest & the most expensive way, the guy/manager/who knows said it will be delivered in 3-5 business days and...

    After 2 days I started to check the status of the shipping on UPS website (using their tracking number), spent a couple of hours, called to UPS and found out that the store operates as USPS store (UPS customer service explained to me that it was USPS store and I paid double price for the shipping, $130 instead of $66). OK, this time I checked USPS website (using the tracking number) and found that the package was still in Seattle (May, 19th), after 3 days! it was still there. I called to USPS customer service, they couldn't helped me and recommended to wait when 5 days will expire.

    After 2 more days I got a text message that the package arrived to Carson California on May 22nd early morning and later the same day it arrived in LA California. And today, when I'm writing my review, 05/24/22, 9.20pm, it's still in LA. No words... Yesterday I had to notarize this document again, went to Olympia to get an apostille again and mailed it with DHL. Let's see who win this race...

    I wish I could give a less than 1 review. USPS don't care about you or your crap when mailed. My package took over 33 days to reach its destination. This was a $4000. clock that was busted all to hell. Now, it's been another 60 days and 2 appeals and still the insurance has not paid a dime. The post office or USPS has not even offered to refund my shipping cost. This is a Government agency that won't give customers the money it owes them but will send Millions to the southern boarder and overseas. NO accountability at all. NO wonder USPS has a 1 star review status.

    Pkg scheduled for 2 day delivery 4/22 in MN and returned to PHX. Tracking number ** Noted as sent to mail recovery center. Missing mail search

    ID #** shows as "resolved" on 4/26. No one can tell me what the resolution is. Neither myself or the recipient has received the package and it is now 5/3. I was advised the mail recovery center is at the Van Buren Post office in Phx, so I drove the 1 hour down there today to be informed the mail recovery center is in Atlanta.

    When they get the packages, it is because the label is illegible, usually wet or torn, so they can determine where to send the contents. The documents have my address in AZ, and my dad's address in TX, and his mail is forwarded to me. No one can tell me where my package is and what is going on. I need help. Envelope has driver's license, state ID card, birth certificate, power of attorney, medicare card, insurance card, Covid vaccine record. We need the ID to get my dad on a plane. Need help--the post office is not helping. They give me numbers to call that are disconnected or no longer in service, and I am being sent on a wild goose chase.

    Businesses should stop using USPS altogether and simply stick with UPS or FedEx. You'd think companies would get tired (and broke!) from constantly having to give refunds for all the packages the lazy, fat hippos at USPS either lose, misplace, steal, or return to the post office if it's still on the truck at the end of the day and they're too lazy to bother delivering it the next day, as their fat cow ** are paid a nice salary to do. They just mark a package "available for pickup" with no consideration that someone can be without a car, disabled, or afraid to venture into the nasty crime-prone areas the post office tends to be located. Fat ** want that big ol' fedgoob salary from usps but don't want to earn it. I guess companies that ship packages want to go broke from refunds.

    Oh, and YOU CAN'T EVEN EMAIL USPS anymore. A gazillion tries and it's always "there was a problem submitting your request". And forget about calling them. Even if you eventually get a live person it'll just be lazy mumbling without offering a solution, and that's if you don't lose patience listening to the half-hour recording about the fake ** "virus" which to them is an excuse to goof off. Bottom line is USPS SUCKS!

    Ordered a package that is very timely. Product ordered from California. Sent to distribution center in Missouri. Silent for 2 days from there on tracking other than "In transit, arriving on time". No ETA. Today it updated and is now in a distribution center in Georgia. I'm in Texas. Wrong side of the country, folks. So much more the package arriving when I need it by.

    Service can not be worst than what it is, you guys are first from last. I tried to send a letter to IRS and sent the same letter in four different times within different postage but still can not see the status and IRS did not received the letter. It happened to me in 2020, IRS didn't receive the letter and since I sent it through certified letter it never backed to me.

    Not support for an item that was forward scammed. Item was sent to Germany instead of Delaware. When they told me to file a claim it didn't work. It kept clicking me out and saying claim was too large or something and didn't help with anything after that.

    Three times in three years they have failed to do the ONE THING they are supposed to do: take an envelope from one place to another. They are not capable of achieving mediocrity. They DID, however, deliver one of my checks FIFTEEN MONTHS LATE!!!! Even with a tracking number they failed to track it (only the government can pull that off). I will never use the USPS again for any reason ever. Not even sure why I am posting this, as if they will ever improve.
