First off I was very glad to see UPS deliveries come to my house via USPS. We have a very decent local delivery company already in place and I hope to get more small packages this way. UPS is set up for this, why not use them? We all benefit. It would be MUCH better, too, being able to drop off packages at the post office with the same local convenience or have our mailmen and women be able to take returns as well. YEAH USPS.

For almost all my sipping needs I use the USPS. Our local branch has always been quite helpful with any problems that I've had. I use the self-serve stations for just about all my shipping needs or when I need to buy stamps. For the most part our deliveries have been very timely, including some Sunday package deliveries.

Packages always seem to be taken care of and the mail carrier is always smiling. They deliver my Amazon packages and they are always on time according to the tracking labels.

I have learn to appreciate the work and time it takes for USPS to ship. I have nothing but good reviews and thoughts and really have enjoy their on time delivery. Only information would recommend to be look at is the tracking, as not a member don't wish to sign up just to see where my parcel is.

I'm a big fan of less hassle in my life. USPS prepaid boxes save me time and money. Best deal out there if your item fits the size boxes they offer. Even better is ability to use the automated kiosk to expedite your shipping. - and no waiting in lines. Good job USPS!

My mail carrier that delivers to my home, is an awesome person that does her job very well and is very personable. We offer her water when it's hot and she deserves to be paid better. However, the post office personnel inside the building, are rude and sarcastic. Heaven forbid you walk in at 10 min to 5, which is closing time. I hate using them because I leave there annoyed every time.

The USPS is all about getting things done in a rush, no matter if the mail gets to the right house or not. I often get other people's mail, have not had my mail forwarded when I put in a change of address. Being a former mail carrier, I personally know what goes on there. The "regulars" often call out and the replacement carriers do not know the route they are doing, so it's just a complete mess.

I have confidence in shipping all of my parcels and all of my 1st class, express mail, and priority mail envelopes via of my local USPS office. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good prices. Highly recommend your local Post Office.

Dependable service. Packages have little or no damage to box or package. Have not had to file a claim for any deliveries from the USPS. Have an app to tell what is being delivered for that day. I have at least 4 deliveries a week from several carriers and usps has been the most reliable with no damages.

USPS has always been family and I try to have them as my choice for shipping whenever I can. I just received a message from my carrier letting me know he was retiring after 35 years on my route. Needless to say he will be missed more than he'll ever know! He's been delivering my mail for 22 years through rain, wind, snow and everything nature could throw at him for 30 plus years of country road both coming and going. He always made it somehow! That was one thing I could always count on. He was late sometimes but it was always for a darn good reason!

I myself have never had a problem with getting mail from the United States Postal Service. I do think it is pretty costly just to mail a letter. You would think they would charge less to mail a letter or package since Amazon does all their mailing for free.

I have an online account with my address and the carriers don't pay any mind to my delivery requests. Therefore they always say they are not able to deliver. Pay attention! The automated system is maddening. Can't navigate through it for issues like this.

I've had far less problems with getting my packages delivered to my address with USPS than with other shipping carriers. Additionally, so far, their prices seem to remain lower than other carriers...which is another plus.

They are not doing bad. However we do get the occasional missing package. I think this is most often due to maybe rushing or new route carriers. I go to the post office in town and they are friendly and willing to help the best that they can. Will the mail service ever be perfect no, but they are appreciated thank you.

Very reliable usually if says will be delivered by a specific day it is here before or on time. Very seldom is it delayed. And they deliver a lot of the Amazon packages as well. I order a lot online due to my job and not a lot of time to go to a store.

After Using the US Post Office for a lot of Sales among regular mail, I have learned that when sending important mail thru the USPS Make sure to use at least Priority Mail and add $100 Insurance, not necessary Ship-Cover Insurance But USPS Insurance. By doing that you will Guarantee your package gets there on time and it probably cheaper than any other carrier for the service that you are receiving.

She was able to fit my package into my mailbox. Very glad she did not have to leave it with anyone else. Would very much such recommend United States mail. Saved me a lot of frustration. My bldg has a wonderful mail woman. Jackie is great!

I enjoy the ease of use when it comes to shipping via the USPS. You can print labels at home and just drop the box off at the post office. If you don't have time for that you can also schedule an appointment for a mail carrier to pick up your package as well. You can also add free tracking when creating a label through the Click N Ship option. Once the package is entered into the USPS database you can request updates to track it.

USPS used to be slow and packages not treated well, but not anymore. Mail is delivered faster now and packages are handled with care. There is now no need to use another carrier for packages.USPS can handle anything that needs to go from here to there in a timely manner. Rest easy; USPS has you covered.

My experience with USPS has always been a pleasant one. First, their customer service is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This includes during the holidays when most people are short-tempered and impatient. Their prices are much more reasonable than their competitors. Finally, when packages are delivered to my door the delivery man/woman is always well mannered and very helpful.

USPS has been delivering everything from letters to live oak seeds in a timely, undamaged way. They deliver early if not on time, in good condition most always and if they give you a date and time (or you request one) you can count on it, unlike most of the privately owned competitors. The pricing is most reasonable and there are many, many more stores with which to use their services.

USPS is really a gamble. One day the service could be really great, get the package to its destination on time and great. But then the next day you can have a dried up lemon for a personality with a line out the door and package takes 3 weeks to reach destination. Can’t be sure. Do you wanna roll the dice? Feeling lucky?

The postal service provides a cost effective method of flat rate shipping. Cost is much less than other services and arrives on time. Not only do they provide service direct but many times other shippers will use them for final delivery. The only downfall is the lines to ship at times is their only drawback. They provide containers free of charge and offer many sizes to choose from. The website provides a rapid label system and pricing, when scheduled will pick up from your home. The tracking is very up to date and can be relied upon for actual date and time and place where the package arrives.

I don't think packages should be left at the door when a Person who is receiving the package is asking to not do this from the customer. Specially if the place they live in is not safe at all. We need for Caring people too. If it was their package what would they think.

Our post office and especially our mailman, Kevin go above and beyond to process and deliver our mail quickly and efficiently! We send out a lot of packages for our business and they almost always get there faster than expected and in great condition!

It took the USPS 10 days to deliver a letter (paid for overnight) from Ferndale MI to Chicago, IL!!! Also they sent a packet to CA that was address to Hoover, Al.. We got the packet back, Posted not paid!!! Seen photos from the USPS showing the Packet with YELLOW stamps on it with the postage on it!!!

Postman skips us sometimes, other times it's someone else's mail in my mailbox. The quality has gone so far down, actually there's not much quality in the USPS anymore. And it's worse when you move. Post Office holds on to your mail for weeks - between Lawrence and Methuen offices but they both tell you they don't know where it is. After a month or 2 you get a ton all at once.

This company always puts the item at my front door. Also, they have never delivered an item to the wrong address. I have received packages for my neighbors that were delivered from other delivery services.

I have always relied on USPS, they are the mainstay of postal service. If ever I have a problem I am able to reach out and get an immediate response! They have been around forever and can’t imagine the delivery world being what it is without them. They deserve much more respect than they get.

This is a very mixed review. The USPS is very on time with their deliveries that is if you get your package. In my area, they don't knock on your door, ring the doorbell or anything, they just leave it on your porch. So if you are at home you don't know it's there, leaving it vulnerable to be stolen. I wish there was a policy against just leaving packages on a front porch.

Very dissatisfied with the condition my packages are received vs other companies. My boxes are mangled and retaped and usually the contents are broken, leaking or shattered completely. For the price I pay to ship a box priority $14.88 I would expect it to arrive in piece. After the last incident I will drive a little further to have FedEx ship my packages.

Dependable shipping reasonable on speed and packages arrive in good condition. Can't complain on pricing as it has several tiers of priority to fit your needs. Other than that I would choose USPS over all other companies.

They have got it going on, they are on the ball. I'm very pleased with the speed of service and friendly employees. I Put big mailbox at the road so they can leave packages inside of it, and it's been very good for them and us. No more stolen packages. Keep up the wonderful work USPS.

First of I am disabled. I got a note on my door that say, "Knock hard, door bell don't work," and they just leave it on porch and we got letter and it had a check in they left it on porch and the time never on time. Everything needs to get better.

I'm pleased with USPS. They have been delivering my packages that I send and receive in a timely matter. Even during the holidays they were very sufficient. Pricing was also pretty good when comparing them with their competitors.

My packages always arrive on time and in great shape. I have never had a problem with their shipping and would recommend anyone to use them for fast, no damage delivery! Keep up the great work! (I regularly order from Amazon and online due to convenience.)

I like that for small mail, I get email images of what I’m getting for the day. It doesn’t work for larger packages. I also like that I also have a place to pick up my packages should they be undeliverable. What I don’t like is that some employees at post office act like they hate their jobs and people.

Packages usually arrive in good shape. Lead time is not always accurate but fairly close to the time they give you. Prices are reasonable but convenience is not comparable to UPS or Fed Ex. Always get it insured if it has any real value.

I have shipped via USPS for several years. They have always delivered on time or sooner and packages arrive safe and undamaged. It is also very convenient to just put the flag up on my mailbox and my mailman picks it up. I find that the rates are best under 5 pounds. Above 5 pounds, I will use FedEx.

Too many times have parcels been delivered damaged. If I had control I would have all deliveries done by other means. Deliveries by FedEx or UPS rarely come damaged. Complaining to postmaster does not seem to do any good.

In general, USPS has been better lately. I have had a few times, with a specific mail person, that a package was opened and the item was removed, or neighbors received our mail. Last Christmas there was a package that was on the road that was to be delivered to the house on the corner. As I walked my dog, I spotted it, and put it in my neighbors mailbox. I have been having nothing but trouble when a package is delivered via USPS. They are the worse. I have had more packages lost than it appropriate for any company. When they do deliver it is either in a box at the end of the street and hopefully the key is put in your box or they deliver it to the front porch by standing at the end of the walkway and throwing it to the porch.

USPS is always consistent on making deliveries. I use their tracking system and know the status and location of package each day. Also, the delivery time of the package is consistent because the same postman usually delivers package with mail.

USPS is not as reliable as other package/parcel services on the market. Packages sometimes arrive damaged or take longer to arrive than expected. The cost of shipping packages overseas is perhaps competitive with other privately owned companies.

I've lived On this street for almost a decade and have had multiple carriers in my area. They still deliver mail that doesn't belong to me even though there's a change of address. The carriers are always different so I never have stability with them. I've had parcels (prepaid postage) dropped off at the outside box on the Ups premises and they didn't get post dated For more than 48 hours after drop off which I had a deadline to ship.

I have no problems w USPS at all, but my dog does. She can hear those big brown trucks a mile away. I'm not sure why USPS upsets her more than any other delivery services. I'm thinking maybe if those trucks were a little more colorful she wouldn't find them so ominous. Just saying. Lol.

I have always found the postal service helpful. Our mail carrier is friendly and he takes great care of our package and mail. We have a home business and sent out at least 3 to 10 package daily. He picks them up every day without fail. He never drops our mail in the mailbox. He always leaves it at the door for use. Any issues we have had they are pretty prompt to fix the issue.

Considering the volume of items the USPS handles daily, it does a great job of processing and delivering all mail. They go to every address six days a week. The rates are reasonable and the service is above the rest.

USPS is cheaper than any other delivery service. Most of the items come intact unlike other delivery services. The only drawback is that staff at the post office aren't very friendly and respectful. They are actually surly at times. There are people who haven't completed the forms, etc. and instead of having them step out of line to fill things out, they let these people hold up long lines. There also aren't enough windows open, especially when there are long lines.

If you go to the office..the lines are always too long. The people there are just downright rude. When have a problem. They won't help you resolve an issue..Even when part of their job should help you resolve an issue. They won't. It was very frustrating. I use a different shipping company in the future.

When I send a package through USPS it arrives on time and the exact day that it is suppose to whether it is next day or two to three days. They are very reliable for my needs every time. They are my first go to when my daughter that stays out-of-town needs a quick loan, a package she left from a previous visit, I just want to send her something. The packages always arrive looking like I just packed them, free from any damage.

I like the price of the post office over other delivery services. I can almost always get problems solved quickly and they come to my house every day. I feel closer to the mail delivery person and they have become a friend as well as a service provider.

In the past 2 years the service has be service has been poor... Package lost. Delivered 2 months later.. Fragile instructions. Ignore and items in package broken I pieces and return months later..

Has anyone noticed at their end when using USPS.com calculator that packages that were, in my case, $27 dollars a week ago are now $54 this week almost double the cost? WTH! How can that be? I totally understand price hike but 85% that's crazy. Same package via UPS is only $21 dollars. I try to use USPS exclusively. Kind of my way of keeping the money in the family making America Great Again. But at this rate,. no pun intended, I won't be shipping USPS for much longer. It's ludicrous!! I'm hoping it's a glitch really but can't get anyone to admit to the problem. Even eBay is unsure what's happening ... smh.

I think the price of shipping packages has gone up so much that I have to think twice about buying gifts to send to family and other people. Of course, the mail office you go to has different experiences, some are not so crowded and service is quite fast. Other offices are loaded with customers and there is a waiting line. I have moved into a new apt. in Vegas and I'm finding that I am getting a lot of old mail addressed to former tenants and even if I take the letters to the post office and ask for them to be cancelled because I am the only one in the designated apt, the post office has sent them back to me. Crazy! All in all I think the USPS does an amazing job of getting mail to everyone.

My USPS driver is always polite, and on time!! I can trust that my packages arrive in great shape and as expected. I enjoy being able to have a personal relationship too. Nice seeing the same person each time.

I think the flat rate priority box rates are priced too high, and there is no guarantee they will even get there in the time they should. Further, even though you are paying for “priority shipping,” unless you are actually shipping one-day priority, you have limited claim benefits. I've had multiple problems with packages I've sent through USPS not getting to their intended recipients.

Packages are delivered when expected, and are delivered intact. Pricing is less expensive than other delivery services. Only problem is that, on occasion, delivery person leaves the mailbox door open.

Prices have skyrocketed within the last six months. Many of my packages over the holidays were left at the end of our long country driveway instead of being brought up to the house. Thankfully we did not notice that any of them were stolen. I've actually started checking into other ways to ship due to the large price increases.

I had a package to ship to my mother for her birthday and I was afraid it was going to get there late if at all because I put the street address on the package which they do not ship to anywhere but P.O. boxes. They called the post office where the package was going and got the P.O. box number for me for future and asked if and when the package arrives if they can put it in the P.O. box. That saved me $24 otherwise they would have returned and I would have to pay to send it out again but to the P.O. box.

Satisfied quality care. I am really satisfied and I would recommend to my friends and to everyone I know. I received my packages always earlier and in very good shape and I can easily track my order and my questions are answered whenever I needed. Thank you!

I really like using the USPS for mailing packages. I mail many packages during the year and especially during the Christmas season every year. I send cookies, candy and other baked goods every year and sometimes during the year. When they say a pkg is going to be delivered--It usually is always delivered by the date promised. The Postal service is such a reliable and so much more reasonable means of shipping than other companies. Yes... they are my most trusted means of shipping.

USPS is my go to service for personal or business shipping needs. I have never had a package lost or delayed in transit either being delivered to me or one that I have shipped. I lived in various states and always had excellent service at the office. USPS should receive more funding and investment.

I'm an eBay seller. Packages are left at wrong addresses, left in rain instead of at door, packages are mishandled and broken when parcel said fragile glass (put the word glass & fragile n each side of the box in RED). Parcels are Shipped to wrong town, tracking shows delivered but not delivered until following day. I always insure and track packages.. If package not received call 1800 275 8777. I 800 ask USPS. Keep your receipt until parcel is safely received. YOU NEED YOUR RECEIPT to file If your parcel is lost or damaged. Also check with your neighbors to see if the package was left at your Neighbor's door instead of your door. Immediately have your post office file an immediate claim. In my area many postal workers have taken early retirement. Many post offices are understaffed.

They usually says that it will arrive on this date and it happens earlier or on the date promise. They will give you the tracking number so that you can monitor or track your package. They handle my package with respect.

Very helpful and great value for the level of service they provide. I cannot recall the last time I had an issue with a delivery or a service. Other delivery providers are not as competitively priced and the level of service does not outshine the value of the USPS.

I have used several shipping companies in my 22-years of being in the mail-order business. I have found the United States Postal Service to be the best by far. My packages arrive within the allotted time frame, pricing is considerably lower than other leading companies, packages are easy to track, and my packages arrive without damage.

I have found USPS extremely reliable and their tracking of packages is easy and accurate. I have also found the employees helpful with my packaging and any assistance I need. I have never had a problem with packages getting to the correct destination. I recommend priority service - flat rate- as it is efficient and quick. I have always had success.

I only have one issue. Sent my cousin some pictures of her mom and grandma before Christmas. She confirmed I used the correct address but the mailman delivered it to the communal box instead. Most of the people are snowbirds so no one is checking this box. To my knowledge my cousin still has not received this priority mail envelop.

I’ve ordered many articles online and am particularly satisfied when they are delivered by USPS. They tend to get packages here on time or before. They deliver to the door and articles arrive in good condition, unlike some of their competition. I find their service superior to most other companies. Being particular as to punctuality I appreciate their dependability.

It really depends on the carrier regarding on time delivery or not. If the carrier is new then the delivery suffers. I know because I get 'delivery attempted' when it is late in the evening when no delivery has been attempted. The issue was a new carrier that was overloaded and couldn't keep pace with the load while learning. Not a big deal but don't say delivery is imminent and then say an attempt was made just because it's late in the day. People take time off to grab packages based on this delivery notice.

My packages seem to be damaged a lot of the times but thankfully the products inside the packages haven’t been damaged. Only a couple of times I had to file a claim because of damage but I worry there is going to come a time that there will be loss from a torn package or damage to my products and it is making me think I may need to seek out other shipping methods.

I think USPS is great but their prices are too expensive just like UPS and it is ridiculous. I can no longer afford to send a package overseas. I feel the shipping companies are geared toward the higher income classes and they don't care about the ones who have less money to spend.

I have never experienced a problem with mailing a package. I like having tracking. Almost always delivered when promised. I compare prices and it is most cost effective, never arrives damaged. However, I do not like when I am receiving packages handed off by FedEx or UPS to USPS to complete delivery.

Have all my packages delivered to the store site. Very friendly group of people. The truck that comes to my neighborhood is very aware of boundaries and make every effort to put packages in a spot not too visible from the road.

I received an email from a shipper that my order had been delivered, however it was nowhere to be found. The same day I got a phone call from a person on the other side of town saying that he had found a package addressed to me sitting on the ground in the parking area. When I went to pick up my package the gentleman explained that he had found it sitting on the ground earlier in the day. Fortunately, I still have a land line, so he could find my contact in the local phone book.

Rates are reasonable, Saturdays delivery available. Lots packaging options with minimum rates for different weights. Employment opportunities for part time and full time availability. Happy with USPS service.

I am a fan of the new Visual Mail Notification. I dont always check my mail daily so this is life saver when I'm waiting on something. They generally deliver about the same time every day and any boxes that dont fit in the box, come in the morning. This makes my life a lot easier.

I would like to State that Wayne, my postman, has always been @ my home between 3:30 and 5:30pm EVERY DAY! My local post office are very helpful and friendly in Yalesville office. They always give me all options for shipping my packages. Very glad to have postal representation and wouldn't want to have anyone else.

A BIT overpriced for sending packages for, BUT OTHERWISE SHIPPING IS FAST.. DRIVERS ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY and professional dressed. ANOTHER PLUS. They will pick up the items you want to send at your home.

This service is easy to use and I’m able to order stamps online as well as printing labels to send packages from home. I can also sign up to get tracking numbers and alerts with the location of the package and when it is delivered.

I have checked prices of other carriers, but Priority Mail is always less money and often just as fast. I have never had a package go astray, whether shipping or receiving. They also deliver to places that are way off the beaten track. I really like the Post Office.

Excellent online and counter assistance. Lacking in delivery responsiveness. Unable to follow packaging instructions. Rushed drivers lack necessary care in placing packages in safe locations. Customer service follow ups are defensive and lack the care expected in today's service oriented world.

I have found the drivers very friendly and upbeat, even when running to the door in 109 degree heat index in the summer. I live in Florida. I haven't had a problem with damaged items and they do deliver mostly when scheduled.

This company in no way handles any packages with care. I have seen them deliver packages to the apartment complex that I reside at and they drop, throw, toss and pile heavy packages on top of packages that says handle with care or it say fragile. Boxes are busted open peoples item are hanging out or just out on the floor broken. Liquid spilled all over the floor from busted packages etc. I have returned multiple packages to stores due to being extremely damaged or have had to just toss them in the garbage, thank God some of the store understand and will refund or replace after sending photos of the damaged boxes and item.

Like any shipping company, there are glitches. But I've had amazing service and help from USPS when that happens. I sell on eBay and USPS is my shipper of choice, and I think that it is cheaper to ship via USPS. I like the personal connection at my local post office.

Although USPS seems to have a bad reputation sometimes....I have always found that they are on time, courteous, and most of all dependable. Competitive prices and efficient handling are characteristics that go along with their professionalism. I would recommend them every time and I think many potential customers forget about USPS because there is so much competition out there. Don't forget about USPS!

Overall good services. I’ve received a few packages with obvious damage, but never damaging the contents. Once a package came open missing all but one item.

My Postwoman makes the mail great, no worries on delivery, I can count on her. She delivers all the mail and packages with a quiet persistence that I feel lucky to have her. No worries on packages, she makes it a point to deliver.

I prefer the post office although lately they have been messing up leaving packages on my doorstep and I live in a bad hood and boxes get stolen. It upsets me. I just think they can do do do do a better job.

I have zero confidence in their reliability to get my package delivered. Twice now I have sent packages with USPS and neither one got there- got lost. 0 for 2. Once you add the tracking, the cost is near UPS and at that point, I would rather use UPS as I trust them with my packages.

I've dealt with these folks a long time and in various states from Arizona, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Tennessee. Several years ago they seemed more concerned about parcel care and customer satisfaction, not so much anymore. It seems like speed is more important at the expense of product integrity. They have also gotten more careless and aggressive on the major roadways I travel. In fact, today we suffered a deluge which frequently impeded visibility.

Usually get packages when stated and delivers on time most of the time. Packages always deliver and promptly placed out of site from public view "for the safety of your package.” Very dependable. Enough said for this company.

They will show in tracking that a package will leave a facility then go to another and then back to that facility before going to another only to repeat the process again. Total waste of time, money and resources.

USPS is reliable, local and efficient. Their use of modern delivery technology makes them even more timely in processing. In 30 years of daily delivery and New package agreements with Amazon I have never had a package lost.

They are the most dedicated personnel that performs their weekly function with deep professionalism. No matter who is on duty, they have very a timely and predictable delivery service. They even call out my first name if we meet on the street.

At my local post office the staff are incredibly helpful with all of the USPS products. I send several packages weekly all over the US and I have only had one problem out of the hundreds of packages I’ve sent and not because of the post office. I did not know the packaging from the USPS was specifically provided for certain labels. I was mortified that a packaged has been return with a note stating this was the wrong packaging. This cost me loss of funds, but when I went to the post office I was explained the reasoning behind this and since then I have had zero issues.

I’ve always had a good experience with USPS. My boxes are shipped from MA to HI and yes be never had a problem. Arrives in about 5 days and boxes are intact. A bit pricey but it is what it is. Even during the holidays the boxes arrived in 5 days.

When you get a notice that your shipment is out for delivery it will be delivered at the time specified. The delivery person is always very courteous and hands you your package with the right words and a smile.

USPS is been servicing the public forever. It's affordable and reliable. It has a delivery fee for every budget and they are in every community close to you. If you can't go to them, they come to you. I call that service!

I paid $20+ for a certified mail to China. It's just a simple 2-page invitation letter. After 21 days the mail was returned. They couldn't find the address. I mailed it using FedEx with the same address in China, the mail was delivered in one week.

Whenever the mail person delivers packages to my home, they make sure to put them in a safe place and also puts our daily mail with them as well. I get daily emails showing me what mail and packages I can expect to receive that day.

I honestly really like USPS. I've done a lot of business with them lately. They may not have the fastest shipments, but they absolutely have the best value. +25% shipping time for -50% cost? Absolutely. Unless I need to move it overnight, then I will go with another shipping company. Also is very nice to have such low costs when shipping at the book rate.

I use USPS to mail packages during different times of the year. The if it fits, it ships boxes are great for packages being shipped long distance. The packages always arrive on time and they arrive in good shape. I also use the mail hold feature frequently.

Deliveries probably arrive late 30% of the time..The tracking site is totally useless... It's impossible to track properly on their tracking app... Their delivery information never updates until after delivery of package.

High prices, slow delivery, but very friendly service in the post office! Instead of running very costly advertising they should invest that money in keeping post offices open and hiring more people to speed up delivery without higher cost.

I think that the United States Postal Service does an incredible job. Their delivery is fast and efficient. Their employees are truly dedicated and helpful. Their website allows you to calculate delivery prices at home or at the office.

Our local post office and employees are some of the best. You can always get an answer to all your questions and help when needed. I just wish the counter was open longer hours, as sometimes it is hard to get there before closing. If you work out of the town, you have to take time off to get there before they close.

I can see how it is hard for USPS to compete in this space. When I lived in a single family house, USPS was great, but now that I'm in an apartment it just doesn't work. They refuse to deliver to the door and the leasing office refuses to accept them. So I can only get packages that fit in my mailbox now.

The Postal Service often times is not careful with packages as I have received some damaged ones in the past. Also, even when I am home and my car is visibly parked in my driveway, they will just leave a package and not ring the doorbell to let me know a package is sitting there. I have been a victim of porch pirates in the past.

Recently, I was waiting for a package that was brought to my house. The package wasn’t left. But, a note was left regarding the attempt to deliver. The note apparently blew away before I got home. A few days later I went to my local post office and the postal representative went out of her way to search for the package and contacted the delivery person for my area in an attempt to locate it. We were unsuccessful at that point. But, she made sure I knew who to contact the next morning. It turns out that I didn’t need to contact anyone. The package was brought to my house that night.

It seems packages take a bit longer to track, but tend to be delivered sooner than expected. I receive mail that isn't mine often, even though we have repeatedly returned mail. Packages don't seem to get as much care as the other carriers.

For a lesser price, they do a great job. Of course human error cannot be ignored as to delivery times and accuracy but if you have no time constraints, a couple of days delayed is worth the amount of money you paid.

Reliable, daily visits, their big post box and they can fit it in, too big will walk it to porch. Courteous if I find them, easy pick up if they leave a note, cost effective, local branch with good hours.

Very reliable service and having the ability to track a shipment is extremely helpful. I live in Hawaii and shipping here can create issues, including prolonged delivery times, with certain retailers.

I appreciate that the USPS provides previews of the mail. Furthermore, all of their shipping emails have been accurate when it comes to the timeline for items that are scheduled to be delivered. None of my packages have been damaged or lost in transit.

Our US Postal Service is so under appreciated and underrated! I use a PO Box and could not be more satisfied with the SERVICE I received daily. I can't say the same for other shippers listed. The TRUMP administration would like to "profitize" the Postal Service and that would be a huge mistake, especially for people in rural areas!

Cheaper versus than the 2 largest national shippers and packages arrive in the same time frame. Their customer service has also gotten better in recent years and their wait time has gotten better as well.

I can no longer count on USPS. Their rates are too high, their processing is too slow and really just no longer competitive with the market. I rarely use them due to my previous experiences and do not recommend my customers using them.

I have always thought the post office did a great job. Recently though they seem to have dropped the ball. In 2019 I had packages sent to me returned to sender while post office claimed they tried to deliver to me. They did not attempt any delivery as I have email notification. Now this new year it has started up again. I had 3 packages returned to sender claiming they could not deliver. Yet one notification sent to me claims they delivered to my address. I asked post person they don't have a package for me. I have now made a formal complaint as it is getting ridiculous and is so frustrating when you need the items asap.

The drivers always go above and beyond when making deliveries and they are very courteous. I am always sure to offer them a bottled water in the summer for their efforts. Always topnotch service!! Thank you UPS!

Of all the choices, I find the USPS to be the most conscientious of all. Their driver do not bang up boxes, I have never received damaged boxes or merchandise. They take pride in their work. Their customer service is 2nd to none.

I get packages delivered at least twice a month from USPS. So far, they deliver on time with no problems. I have also signed up to get emails daily on what to expect such as package or mail. This is very helpful to me.

It is really hit and miss with these folks. Sometimes my package would come in a decent timeframe, while other times it would take several weeks to get my packages. There have been more than a few times where packages have been lost or took much longer to get to me when they should have been delivered within five business days.

They really do deliver rain or shine. Always to my front door on my front porch. Friendly when engaged. Come to deliver on day or date called for by shipper. Always seem to be reliable. Packages usually in good shape upon arrival.

I have never had a problem with USPS. The guy who delivers to my apartment makes sure you get the package he will ring your bell a couple times and knock wait a few minutes to see if your home before leaving. That's good customer service. I have only sent off a letter with a flat rate of 9.00. I think the 9.00 is too much for a envelope but I will continue to use their service.

Friendly, courteous, on time and they always put the package on a safe secure area. Never open to the elements. I truly like the onetime concerns. You can tell they are well trained. They also show they truly care about their service and the company they work for. Let me add that their vehicles are always neat and clean. Never dirty. Why does this make a difference? It is a direct reflection of a commitment to quality service to its suppliers and the community they serve. It gives us— the customers— a vision of quality and commitment in a service area that we all expect from Amazon. You definitely are the best in all areas. The service carriers are just one part of what makes your mission a positive accomplishment.

Needs to be more reliable, handle packages more carefully. Sending packages is too expensive when other carriers are far more dependable. Timeliness of delivery could be improved also. A ground delivery 300 miles away might come in 1 day and other times 3 days, even when you pay for express delivery at a premium rate.

I have shipped with USPS, UPS and FEDEX. All of them have shipped within their time frame. The question is what shape the shipments were delivered in. UPS indicated I needed to ship in their box in order for it to ship in good condition. In 40 years I never heard that but they changed owners so that explains that. USPS consistently sends shipment at lower cost, within time frame, no excess surcharges, fuel charge, etc. Packages arrive in perfect condition and I can check on line to see delivery progress. The other shippers offer the same option.

Love the personalized care. She’s a part of my neighborhood. She’s friendly and concerned. I can count on her hand delivering packages by knocking and ringing my bell rather than just dropping it off on my doorstep. She understands the importance of my getting and picking up my packages quickly.

I think the USPS has become lax with mail and packages. The online service is helpful but the packages will say delivered a day or 2 before they actually are. I also constantly get other people's mail. I deliver to neighbors if it's there's but I repeatedly write on envelopes to return mail. Been over a year and still get the same people's mail.

I receive advance notice of shipment, which is good. I can watch for the package and be sure the porch pirates don't attack. Also advised when package has been delivered. I order a lot from Amazon. Have never received a package that appeared to be mishandled.

I've had many packages delivered to me from USPS and they always arrived in a reasonable time and in good condition. The mail person is always polite and helpful especially if it is a heavy package. And I have nothing but good things to say about USPS, also at the post office they are very nice a helpful.

Shipping a larger package is very expensive. However the USPS is quick and efficient. The employees are very helpful and offer you choices as to which is the most economical way to ship it. They also offer you materials needed to secure your box for free.

I deal with the USPS often. I send packages out more than occasionally. The packages I send always get there in a timely manner and they are not bent up or messed up in any kind of way. That's all I ask for with this kind of situation.

I have found that they deliver on weekends (not just holidays). Their trucks will be out on Sunday morning, delivering packages. Not sure if just my neighborhood or all over the country. I will say that they are trying very hard to be as good as possible and competitive with all the other companies, including Amazon.

Not a bad company but certainly not the best. Packages are thrown onto porches and delivery can be a little iffy! I would prefer to send all of my packages By FedEx. I have never had a problem with them and I’m afraid I can’t say that about USPS. We have been experiencing an ever increasing problem with porch Pirates and you would think that USPS would put the packages in a somewhat concealed space. However, it is certainly not Case.

I am very ambivalent when it comes to the USPS. It can deliver seven Christmas cards, all mailed at the same drop time and place, over a period of three weeks. Two sent to the same address arrived twelve days apart. One going to Colorado arrived a month later, the rest dribbled in over time. They were mailed twelve days before Christmas and the last arrived the middle of January. All but one contained checks for Christmas.

USPS postal service can be really good but sometimes they're wrong with information given to me as I have experienced it twice with one being very recently. Sorry but have no time but that's the correct answer about USPS as they can be great but again, they can also mislead you unintentionally.

I have shipped from multiple places to Greece, they always make sure my packages make there safely and in perfect condition. No matter what you get tracking information, I have never had any problems. I’ve been shipping to Greece for over 20 years.

We live in a town and have our mail delivered by a person. We can ask the PO to hold mail if we go away, and they have been impeccable about that. We have not had such great luck with other shipping co's. And often we will have to drive 1/2 hour to go pick up package if it is held by another shipping co. USPS has been excellent.

I don't ship often but when I do I'll ship via USPS. The post office nearest me is run better than most. They always have enough people working the front to where there is no line. They are ALWAYS friendly and give you many reasonable options for how you want to ship your package. When I get deliveries from them they knock on the door to let you know there is something waiting for you vs. FedEx who just dumps it on your porch and leaves. I've never shipped or received anything that was broken in transit and the boxes are in good condition when they arrive. I have several letter carriers and they are all very polite and helpful.

The USPS really needs to get it together. They constantly lose mail, put in someone else's box and have continue to raise prices a couple times a year for years. Their worker 90% of the time are not nice, very unfriendly and have very bad attitudes. Their customer service needs major improvement.

The price of stamps keeps climbing while the levels of service declines. Really think it’s time to privatize this service. The government is top heavy and we need to drastically cut the fat. I understand the need for a good pay scale and benefits but really it’s out of control in the postal service. Try to get rid of a bad employee and good luck with that. Total reform is badly needed.

I love the reliability of the service, the fact that I get an email of what I am receiving that day, and that if I go into my branch they are always as helpful as possible. Not a lot of frills, but has all the things I need.

The mail carriers are always kind and thoughtful, they remember who you are and always have a pleasant attitude. They always make sure my packages are delivered on time. They have such a stressful job during the holidays its nice to see their pleasant disposition.

UPS delivers on time. Notifies you if there is a problem. Knocks on door to Let you know a package is there. Very couterous drivers. And customer service if you need to call them are helpful and couterous.

I know our delivery guy. He’s nice and professional. Have never had an issue with delivery. And he’s given me our packages if he sees us out of the house. And really appreciate the no knock-and-run mentality.

Bad. They make mistakes, and hand you a paper to fill out to correct their mistake. Their mistake they should be required to fill out the paperwork.

I order a lot from Amazon and Ebay and have never had a problem with USPS. The people who deliver are courteous and very helpful. They make sure all my mail is together with a rubber band and leave everything in a safe place. I really appreciate their extra mile that they go when they deliver to me. Thank you USPS.
