Email received that package was delivered; checked all doors - no package. The next day the package was found at the end of a 200 ft. driveway (at the main road) hanging off the mailbox flag. This was a Walmart purchase. Must I cease as a Walmart customer?

I have a weekly perishable delivery shipped by FedEx. It is always delivered 24 to 48 hours after the promised delivery window. When I'm not there to receive the package in person, it's ALWAYS placed upside down or on its side, even though four faces of the box are clearly labeled "Important! This side up!" with arrows pointing up.

I was supposed to receive my package on Oct 2. It was 2 day shipping. There was no tracking info on it on the 2nd so I started calling customer service on the 2nd and made subsequent calls daily. I was told it was escalated and repeatedly promised a callback. I never received one. Finally, on Oct 6 I got someone who was helpful and discovered that my package is in a truck at my distribution location but no one cannot give me a guarantee when or if I will get it. They say there is too much volume for them to handle.

I asked if I could go pick it up and was told no because it was not accessible. We had a hurricane over three weeks ago, so I understand possible delays. But no one can tell me if and when I will receive this package? Most of the customer service agents I spoke with were not helpful, nor did they do their job properly. I have received packages from UPS and the postal service regularly since the storm, so having a hard time accepting their lack of answers.

No matter what address my orders are shipped to they always receive a "deliver exception for Incorrect Address" but, my addresses are always correct. I contact FedEx customer service and they verify the correct address with me and again I receive notification of "delivery exception for incorrect address". Then, it takes they addition days to over a week to delivery. Can't the drivers get it right the first time and try getting out of the truck and coming to the door??? Very dissatisfied!!!

This has happened before, but the most recent experience was Oct 2018. Purchased a new iPhone along with the trade-in service of my existing iPhone from Apple online. Received shipping confirmation for the iPhone via UPS with a scheduled delivery of 10/2/2018. Received on time. Received shipping confirmation for the Trade-In kit via FedEx with a scheduled delivery of 10/2/2018. Hadn't received by 10/5, Shipping status was pending with a delivery exception status. Spoke with customer service rep & they put a formal trace on the shipment, stating that their info showed 3 attempted deliveries. I received no notification of any of these (either physically at my residence or via phone/email). My address and contact information was all correct on this shipment!!!

Received a call back from the trace and was told that they couldn't locate my address. Package is sitting in the Londonderry, NH facility. I asked why I wasn't notified of their inability to find me and she mentioned that sometimes they are delayed in sending out postcards. Really, postcards??? So we're supposed to wait 2-3 days to received a USPS postcard to be notified of a problem with the delivery? You can't make this stuff up. She then apologized and stated that they will process the delivery. Not sure why they are confident they can suddenly "find" my residence, so I'll be picking it up myself directly. Obviously, this facility falsifies attempted deliveries to either cover up their incompetence, laziness or worse. Receivers beware!

Was supposed to get package from FedEx. Waited till 8 o'clock and called because package did not arrive. Man at FedEx told me he did not know or care if package was delivered. If I wanted it delivered, I should have paid more to ship. He stated that FedEx does not even ship ground, that is handed off to some other no named company. I terminated the call as the man would not assist any further other than stating I should have paid more. Called again to get a female who told me that since they did not deliver on the said date she would step me up to 10:30 delivery.

10:30 came and went, no package. Called again. Person on phone told me the package was not delivered due to "internal problems" giving no idea what in fact happened. Seems to be typical for FedEx to collect money and the heck with the package. I guess all the videos of FedEx drivers stealing packages and throwing packages is the norm for what used to be a fine company. Sad it has come this.

I called to set up a time for pick up of a package, and the employee who answered the phone was completely unhelpful and didn't seem to know how to do their job about arranging a simple pickup. I ended up having to drive to the Fedex shipping center 45 minutes away just because they can't get their heads out of their behinds.

I contacted FedEx by email, asked whether their policy requires to ring the bell to notify about delivery, asked this question 5-7 times, but FedEx refused to answer. I know that packages were stolen in the neighborhood in the past, so it does not make any sense just to drop and go, while residents might be at home...

Failed to get my package for 3 days. First, saw driver parked at a wrong address. Thought that was delivering there as well. I continued waiting at the front of my building. He started driving thinking will park and I pick my package. I was wrong. He drove past me at my address and left. I called customer service. They mentioned that was unable to trace my address. Simple clear address not complicated at all. I decided to wait the following day. I stood out again in front of my building. Got tired and went inside my house but checked through the window. I saw the car. I rushed out only to see him driving going. Ran after him but all in vain. Missing work for 2 days but nothing worked. Got so frustrated and asked for refund for the product I had bought online. Wasted my time. I think they need more training.

The other, coming from NJ, arrived at Willington, CT at 3:11 am on Saturday, 9/29. Only 1 of the packages was delivered even though they arrived at the same facility within 4 seconds of each other!

The first package, which technically arrived at Willington before the other, now says it isn't scheduled to be delivered until TUESDAY, 10/2! Of course, that is the package I needed the most. I sent an email to FedEx on Monday morning which they said they'd respond to "shortly." I'm not quite sure what shortly means in FedEx land, but it is now 29 hours later and I still haven't heard from them and the PACKAGE STILL HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED! So much for Customer "Service!" My package has been sitting in a warehouse 38 miles away from me FOR 3 DAYS AND 12 HOURS SO FAR! I wonder if FedEx has a different definition of EXPRESS?

Updated on 10/08/2018: When I finally did receive the package, very late on Tuesday afternoon, the box was completely crushed! The bottom of the box was almost completely open! Of course, the driver couldn't be bothered to speak with me. Probably too embarrassed to look me in the eye. At least he should be! It's very lucky that the contents were not terribly fragile! This kind of service is totally unacceptable!

Bad experienced from assistant manager at the Lake Woodlands Texas location. I sent and paid for shipping supposed to get overseas in four days but was pending because of an error caused by an assistant manager Meghan, Who forgot one very important details not provided of a description of the goods. I came back hoping they could help but instead she insisted and refused to offer help. Put me on the phone and then took a break. Finally, a manager came out and handed me an invoice with no apology and just acted liked it wasn't a big deal.

I have asked her and Meghan to assist and help me but they didn't quite know what to do or just didn't seem to care. I've told them repeatedly that part of that shipment was a back brace that my niece was waiting and needed to wear because her doctor had required her to but because of not having enough money and the third country like Philippines are very limited to this. Not that I wanted them to have compassion or understanding the severity of an error but I think they did not realize the impact of what it caused. It bothers me that this is one of the most important information but neglected to do.

Custom will not release the package if it is not declared and for sure I thought since they work in FedEx this is something they know already and just standard guidelines for every item that they shipped every day. They blamed the computer and they told me that the computer supposed to just generate it but I told her if you didn't type or let the computer know what to do it wouldn't do it by itself. Not only that they can't offer a solution, but the manager and assistant manager also, did not seem to care. How is that for the quality of service???

Each time I called about the case I spoke to someone different and each person didn't know anything about what was discussed last time. Shortly after hurricane Florence ended FedEx delivered a package to my house. The next package was lost. They sent me an email telling me the package was delivered and signed for but no customer service 'professional' knew the name of the person who signed for it. The excuse I began to get was that hurricane damage had slowed down delivery. This is after one package was delivered and an email said the next was delivered and signed for. That's the stupidest excuse imaginable but I was supposed to believe it. I will not accept any shipment by FedEx whatsoever ever.

Tracked and it was in GA just outside Atlanta. Stated would be delivered Sept. 28. Waited all day AGAIN!!! Tracked the package. Stated customer was not available for delivery. Oh, REALLY? Called FedEx, then called company sending package. Was told by FedEx and then by company I ordered from that they promised delivery today, Sat. Sept. 29. Waited all day AGAIN only to discover at the end of the day that there is NO delivery on weekends. Three whole days waiting and watching along with the fact that the driver LIED that I hadn't been at home to receive package.

I was where I could see and hear if a truck had arrived in my driveway and them promising delivery when they knew they didn't deliver on Sat. I needed to go to the grocery store and to a larger town for shopping because I live in a small rural town. Company hires blatant liars. I will have to spend a FOURTH day waiting for a delivery that may or may not arrive. Have to wonder if they've lost my package. I wish there were some way I could send all these complaints to the company I placed order with. I see others too have been lied on that they weren't at home and on the delivery dates given. Well, 2 days ago we were told FedEx tried to make a delivery but there was no answer so they held onto the package. However, nobody knocked or rang the doorbell. We received a text saying our package was out for delivery after the failed attempt. So, here we are on day 2 waiting and it is approaching 8 PM and still no package. The day before the package was attempted at 11 AM. So, this seems very cruel to do this to those who need less stress not more. If FEDEX will do this to us after a terrible event I can only imagine what they do to others. This is also not the first time FEDEX has done this. Verizon should be ashamed at how poorly FEDEX reflects on them but they are too busy cutting costs to care I guess. Be cautious when ordering from Verizon due to FEDEX and their terrible customer service.

FedEx ground tracking is horrible. Basically it's just a touch better than USPS, which is almost non-existent. Any ground package I get comes with a range of expected delivery dates (Expected delivery: March 3-March 8) and never gets any more specific. The tracking points are sometimes days apart, so I can see it left x facility, but nothing more for days, sometimes up until after it is delivered. My packages are often left at the wrong address or shown as delivered when it hasn't been, or shown as delivery attempted when the driver hasn't even been on my street (I live in a small town and can tell).

I like packages to be left at my door if I am not there (again, small town so we trust each other) but they have some indiscernible process for determining which packages can be left and which can't. I have had no signature deliveries left at my door and not left at my door and I can never get a straight answer as to why. Literally a $10 item was not delivered when I wasn't home, but a $200 was left on the porch. Neither required a signature and were okayed for leaving at the door. UPS has their logistics down pat. I wish FedEx would up their game a little. Thankfully almost all packages I get are UPS.

I know when ordering from someone you are at the mercy of the seller but I try to do everything I can to avoid this company. If I know they will ship with FedEx I will go elsewhere for my stuff. When looking up my tracking number it says in transit to location and it's been like that for 4 days now and the last location is only about an hour and a half from where I live. If I would have known it was going to be like this I would have drove there and got it myself. Yeah how stupid is that you pay to have something shipped and you would be better off going and picking it up yourself.

I did trying calling customer service and all they were willing to do is open a case to "try" and see if they could find my package. But in order to do this they wanted all my information. I just told them to forget it if the best they could do was to "try" and find it. I figured if they have the package they should know exactly where it is, what truck, train or plane the this is on not just guess where it may be. So calling customer service really got me nowhere. So I'm still wait to find out when or if they are going to deliver it. This is the third time they have screwed up one of my deliveries in the last four months. The last one I had $700 worth of stuff delivered to the wrong address. Thank god those people were honest and brought my package to me. Long story short "AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST." The delivery driver just get out of their vehicle and leave a door tag on my gate, if the package doesn’t require a signature. All they do is put the packages inside a bag and leave it hanging in my gate facing the street where the item can get stolen. I have cameras on my property where I seen the delivery person just get out of the vehicle without even attempt to knock on my door or at least call me. Made calls numerous times and at one point the customer service on the phone hang up on me. Since this has happened more than once. I noticed that FedEx doesn’t care about customers, not even on the phone they try to help you.

The manager also told me that it is NOT a federal offense for their driver to steal my package because they aren’t under federal law. Today I found where the package had been delivered a week ago, they called FedEx several times to come reclaim the package and left it on their porch. The package had been rained on, destroying the contents.

It arrived today and they somehow managed to make the bottles leak all over the place. I know that they messed this one up because the shipping label had been cut off and taped on another package, and the bottles were wrapped in a plastic bag (Probably to keep from leaking on the way here. Also, the company does not put their products in plastic bags either). It was not their driver's fault, it happened in the shipping dept, because the drivers don't have the extra box it was put into. 3 times in less than a month. I called on Tuesday to schedule a ground shipping pickup and was told that the package would be picked up Wednesday by 8:00pm. I waited at home the entire day, calling the main FedEx Customer Service Department periodically for any updates. I was always given the same update (including the call I made at 8:13pm), “You are scheduled for pickup today between now and 8:00pm.” My last call of the evening was made at 8:53pm, where I was finally able to transfer to a live person who informed me that Dispatch leaves at 7:45pm and nobody was there to speak to, and now my pickup would be sometime Thursday. So, come Thursday, I waited at home all day again, periodically calling the same number for any updates. Once again, I was given the same information, “You are scheduled for pickup today between now and 8:00pm.”

At 5:44pm, when FedEx had once again never arrived, I called to inquire about the status of my pickup. I was informed that the driver had made a pickup attempt (they absolutely did not). I informed them that I had once again been home the entire day, and nobody from FedEx had been to my house. After being placed on hold for a lengthy period, I was told that my pickup would be Friday. I told them that this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I was then placed on hold for 20 minutes, after which time I was told that no supervisor was there, and I was going to be placed on hold again and transferred to another supervisor.

After explaining the situation to this supervisor, I was once again told that my pickup would be on Friday. I stated that I was not going to spend a third day waiting at home for someone to possibly show up, and that I wanted someone from FedEx to pick up my package that day. I was again placed on hold as they contacted Dispatch, after which I was informed that there were no trucks out and my pickup would be on Friday. I told them that I would not spend a third day waiting around, and was instructed to leave the package on my front stoop.

I am shipping a computer, which I would not leave sitting by my front door even if package theft were not an issue, which it definitely is. When I stated that this was not acceptable, I was told by the supervisor that I could take my package to a drop off location. If I wanted to take it to a drop off location myself, I would have done that on Tuesday and saved myself wasted days, a delay in shipping, and a lot of frustration. This call wasted over a half hour more of my time. I honestly cannot believe how unprofessional this national company is and that they do not value their customers enough to make things right when they mess up two days straight. I cannot understand how they are still in business. In the end, I made the trip to the drop off location because I refuse to waste a third day waiting for a pickup that never happens. Needless to say, I will never use FedEx for anything in the future.

It started with an email received shortly after watching the FedEx truck drives by. The email stated the our package was dropped off at the front door. Such was not the case. Called FedEx and notified them of the situation. They would not tell us where the package was left and suggested that we go to each neighbor and ask if they had a wrong package delivered. So I took it apron myself to make a sign that stated “Looking for Package——FedEx delivered to wrong home” and placed at end of driveway. Later that day a neighbor brought us our package. The label was damaged and the number of the street hard to read. Understandable mistake.

Several days later FedEx delivered us a package with label of our address laid over another. The other being our neighbor’s. Asked driver about it and he stated he picked it up yesterday because it had the wrong address. The first label was an UPS label and was correct. In short, the FedEx driver was told that he delivered a package to the wrong address and return to the neighbor’s home and picks up a UPS package that he thought he delivered the other day and relabeled it us our address. Asked why would he think that he delivered a UPS labeled package the first time. The driver’s solution was, “Why don’t we use UPS?”
So FedEx slogan should contain the phase “Hide and Seek” and if you don’t like it “Use UPS”. It’s not in their job description to rectify errors. Such a shame.

Thanks for great neighbors. The issue was resolved by our own effort.

I scheduled a pick-up of a prepaid FedEx Express package by phone. The pickup was supposed to be done the next day. However FedEx refuses to provide any confirmation of this by email or other traceable means for a customer. Instead they provide a pick-up number by phone. Needless to say no-one has showed up to pick up the package on the agreed day. When I called FedEx customer service at the end of the day, I was informed the customer representative gave me the wrong date and it will be picked up next day.

When I requested to received an emailed confirmation or some traceable confirmation with date and time window of a pick up, I was refused on the ground that FedEx only says it by phone. The customer representative could barely speak English and was highly incompetent. I requested to speak to the supervisor however I believe I was transferred to another customer representative who refused to give his full name and position and just reiterated the incompetent blurb. It is a horribly incompetent company, who does not want to hear from customers and has no intention of resolving issues. This is not the first time I receive terrible customer service from incompetent staff at FedEx - both face to face and on the phone. Stay away.

I have a broken wrist, 3 tears in my shoulder and 4 herniated discs in my neck from a car wreck in March. Neurosurgeon wants to do surgery as my neck is "too wiggly" now. I am temporarily disabled. I am in constant pain and stress wondering if I am going to be further damaged. To cheer myself up, I decided to do a makeover of my tiny little condo. I have never shopped online for furniture. Someone said go to Wayfair or Amazon online. I shopped and shopped. I finally found a couch that I liked, excitedly bought it on Amazon. Then the nightmare began. FedEx is delivering my package... except they don't come upstairs, and won't put it in your house. I told them why they would need to bring the couch into my actual house. (Disabled, and a senior). I called and called, then finally, I was told the only way I could get it in the house was to meet the driver and see if I could talk him into it. (I figured that meant to tip him).

After numerous attempts to get a straight answer, the package finally arrived. I had to pay an additional $70.00 to get the couch in the elevator, and into my place, then out of the box, and set up. The installer took the giant box and all the wrapping down to the dumpster. THEN I TRIED OUT the couch. Like a plank of wood. I called Amazon the next day, said I do not want it. Amazon will not interfere with the third party company - the seller- Furniture Mania, or FEDEX. The one and only person at Furniture Mania claims she does not have a supervisor. She is now saying that even though I agreed that I would return it in the original box, she will allow me to return it in a box that I "may happen to have", or I can go purchase one. This starts the whole scenario over again. I will have to hire someone to do all of that for me.

I do not have the desire to ever go back to Amazon, FedEx, and especially FURNITURE MANIA. Now, I have filed an ABC claim, which takes one to two weeks, and they expect me to store their couch here (for free). I have already bought a new couch (local store, their own delivery company), and have scheduled to have my house painted. I want their couch out of here, so it does not get paint on it, and I can put my couch there when it arrives. The part I really do not get is the part where they ignore the problem: that I am disabled, so cannot participate. Is this discrimination? AGEism? I think so.

I say accurate because today I was told around 10:30 am and it is now after 2 pm, still I have been waiting on this package like a dog by the front windows to make sure I can see when they arrive. Why have I been sitting by the window all day? Because they deliver to my neighbor's home every single time and so I have to run out there before it seems like I'm stealing a package at my neighbor's home... My father has a Galaxy S3 Gear Frontier smartwatch that he absolutely loves. One night, I got interested in buying one for myself and, after getting the feel of the device from his and doing my research, I ordered one off of Amazon for $250 on Saturday, August 25th. When Amazon said they would ship it with FedEx... I grimaced. Now, it is Friday, September 7th, and now I guarantee that will be $250 dollars I'm most likely never going to see again.

When I ordered it along with the accessories, I thought it would ship along with them, y'know, like a logical person would assume. That Tuesday at my workplace, I got the bands and cases... but no watch. I look to the tracking, and the delivery got pushed back to Thursday. Now, it was Thursday and no sign of FedEx anywhere. I'm watching the streets like a hawk, and nothing shows up. After my shift ends, I look back at the tracking and it got pushed back AGAIN to today. Needless to say, I was getting to the end of my wire waiting for this $250 watch.

Well, it gets to a state over from where I live, and guess what? No, really, I want you to pause reading this review and just take a wild guess at what the FedEx tracking showed me. I'll wait. You done? Well, if you guessed that the expensive $250 package got botched, THEN DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER! Yep. FedEx carelessly set fire to my money, needless to say. I mean, who cares, right? Amazon already paid them to ship it, they got their cut, who cares about the owner of the package? $250? Well, they make that by overbilling their unfortunate customers in just one day!

I've heard a lot of horror stories from my coworkers about FedEx, too many to count. Stories of fragile packages being thrown at their front doors, stories of packages arriving absolutely decimated, and if you were on the fence about if these were simply over exaggeration, well I can put your mind to rest because I and several other people in this review section can 100% confirm these stories are true.

Please, please, for the love of all that is holy, if you are shipping something, don't put your consumers through the torture that comes with shipping with FedEx. There's a reason why it's cheap. Also, if you have come under the most unfortunate circumstances in which your package is shipping with FedEx, I IMPLORE you to go ahead and ask for your money back and save yourself some time. Do not give these people your business!

Called customer again & they informed that due to system error the unit # provide got never updated in the system, provide unit # again & the customer service confirms that the pkg will be delivered by next day. The next day, the pkg got delivered & receives automated text message saying that pkg was not able to delivered as a unit # is missing on the shipping address. Called again, was getting the same ** excuse saying that the due to system error, the provided unit # never got updated in the system.

I had requested for manager at the FedEx location that they have my pkg held at. The manager from the south San Francisco informed me with same excuse & asks if I want to pick up the pkg myself. Told he that I will pick the Pkg myself after work. When arrived at the location after work, the pick up location had no instruction for how the item can be picked & after waiting for about 15 minutes, someone came & asked for the tracking & he had disappeared for about 20 minutes without any update. Other people standing there for their Pkg told me that they have been standing there waiting for someone to look for their pkg for 45 minutes & some waiting over an hour. Asked for the manager & she tells me they are still looking for my pkg. After waiting for another 15 minutes, other guys comes over & ask for tracking # for my pkg again.

When asked where do the 1st who took the tracking # to look for my pkg, the another tells me he does not know. At that point, I just lost my patience & had asked for the manager again but she never showed up but another came back with my pkg after waiting her for almost hour. This location the over FedEx experience was the was & this place definitely needed some serious reorganization as well as there was basically no management or process at all. If someone from FedEx in upper management position, they really need to re-evaluate current management at this location, as employee at this location is basically killing its business & reputation. I both ship and buy a lot online. I've never had much luck with the quality of FedEx shipping so I hesitated to use them. Going against my own instincts because they were cheaper on shipping items via eBay so I thought I would try it again. In around a month, I shipped out to 3 buyers. Each order contained 3 items and each shipment there was trouble. The driver blamed it on FEDEX SOFTWARE so they couldn't enter the tracking information right supposedly although all 3 items in each shipment had COMPLETELY DIFFERENT tracking numbers.

The items would not show up on tracking, the story is too long to tell on here but the last shipment disappeared for days. Showed completely bogus information on the tracking as to the shipment origin etc. Later I went to check my eBay invoices to find that eBay and FEDEX had over billed me on the items because the tracking was entered incorrectly. They On each of these orders, they showed one amount when I shipped and on ONE ITEM in each of these orders, I found out later when I got my invoice from eBay, that they had OVERbilled me around $20-25 EACH on one item in each of these shipments.

Mind you 2 of the items out of 3 in each shipment were identical, came from the same place but when I got the invoice, the charges showed that it would cost 28-32 dollars to ship these items and when I got the bill, they charged me $48.00 for one and 58.00 for the other. I looked back and found they had did it on all 3 orders. Meaning in 3 ORDERS they over billed me around 70.00 total.

They knew they did it. Their rep online even SAID they did it and they REFUSED to give me my money back even though their software over billed me. The rep told me that if they refunded the money it would go back to eBay instead of me that I would have to get EBAY to do it and eBay said that FEDEX got the money not them. Basically they are committing OVER BILLING FRAUD. If you sell on eBay you should check every invoice and copy it to make sure they aren't stealing from you.

The story continues. I order all the time from WALMART online grocery shopping. At least once or twice a week. I complained to FEDEX over and over about my packages disappearing and then this overbilling issue. I complained to the drivers because all of my items since around that time come to me damaged or torn all to pieces. I've complained to Walmart and they've documented it over and over.

I don't know why Walmart won't give us a choice of shippers. I am going to continue to order from Walmart. It's not their fault that FEDEX employees apparently don't care how they treat your items and have no respect for other people's property. It's just sorry how they treat their customers and even while they admit that they've over billed me on these items, they still refuse to refund my money. That's theft and it needs to be looked into by Some kind of government agency. If they did it to me, no doubt they're doing it to other people.

As far as their destructive behavior. I don't know how they stay in business doing things like this and I don't know how they allow their employees to treat people's merchandise entrusted to their care like this and worse of all, I don't know how they get away with overbilling customers which is fraud. They even admit they did it and refused to give me my money back. I felt I had no recourse but to warn people.

If you own a business, I suggest you use another shipper and if Walmart wants to have any success with their Online shipping and grocery departments, they should strongly consider giving their customers another shipping option. I would pay extra to be given another choice. Even if it cost me an extra $5.00 a shipment, I would gladly pay it to NOT have to have FEDEX ship my items.

Lastly, I'm going to post a review every time they destroy my property from here on out to warn other businesses and people and make them understand how this shippers' employees have continually abused my merchandise and let people know that they should check all of their invoices done through EBAY BILLING for FEDEX. You're probably going to find some billing fraud going on. I shipped with them 3 TIMES in around a month and ALL 3 TIMES, they ripped me off of around 20-25 dollars. As you can imagine, I won't be using them any longer and if WALMART would give me a choice, they wouldn't be bringing my items either. Until then, Walmart chooses to replace the items so I'll have to put up with it because quite apparently, nobody cares about what their customers think.

However, when I contacted the person I was refused my questions being answered and instead told to call the service desk (because my 90 days was up). This is severely dissatisfying, as with Purolator I always have a representative I can contact by email for business purposes; it should be the same for FedEx. The package is indirect signature required, so I had to be at home waiting; however, it looks like that the drivers did not even attempt to deliver it, they marked that it was delivered or they just say that they tried to deliver it, which is also a lie because there was no doortag on my door and I was at home waiting for it.

Also, a problem that appeared to me was the impossibility to track the package myself, some representative of your customer service said that was normal a driver mark as delivered and not deliver the package, I do not understand how is something like this normal. I can't be waiting days and more days for a package, it really affected me mentally and financially at school and at work. In addition, the Representatives from the FedEx customer service does not know anything about my package, they keep saying that they could not reach out the facility of South San Francisco because "there was no one there" or "they don't answer". It was not the shipper's issue, it is FedEx. I am so angry! FedEx used to be great, now they are just another big corporation that doesn't care about the end consumer.

An automatic shipment order I have had coming to my house for over a year, has been delayed by a week each of the past three scheduled deliveries. FedEx changes the tracking data daily stating shipment is out for delivery, but it never shows. Eventually after a few days of FedEx changing the tracking data, the tracker will indicate the driver cannot find my house. We are again in a situation with FedEx in which my daughter ordered a time sensitive package and again FedEx keeps changing the tracking info stating it is out for delivery, but the package never comes. When calling FedEx about this problem, agents do not seem to be concerned and just indicate they will pass the information along to the local distribution center. Is there any recourse against FedEx for their improper handling of deliveries?

It was supposed to be a 1-2 day express home delivery. I got a notice by mail the second day it would show up at 6 PM. It never did and I waited frustratingly 40 minutes only to call their customer service and find out they close at 6 PM. Finally I get a number which takes me to their robot customer service. Which after 15 minutes of hassle tells me the package is on route for delivery. So I continue waiting. Of course no one shows up.

By the third day I get a new notice that it will be delivered by 11 AM. Home from work, waiting in the kitchen, in good hearing distance from the front door. Together even with my Doberman (guard dog) who - if I against all odds would've missed it - would bark and run to the door at any sounds. After waiting 2 hours I head back to work only to find the delivery man has left a notice claiming to have called - this obviously ain't so. By the fourth and fifth day I get two more notices by mail that it will be delivered by 6 PM. No one shows up. Both me, my dog and my two flatmates have been home.

After writing to their customer service I've gotten to know it is apparently impossible for them to make a phone call before delivery or give any more precise delivery time than between 9 AM to 6 PM. As a normal, working man I have NO possibility to wait around for 9 hours on a weekday to wait for a delivery-man that might not even ring the doorbell.

The only feasible way for them to deliver is if I write a note on the door. The package is private in nature and I do not wish to have it waiting in the open to be opened or stolen. I chose express 1-2 days international home delivery and paid extra for it. I needed it for a special occasion, thought that perhaps I could still have a use for it after it arrived late - but not on the eighth day and it is still not delivered properly I have emailed them that they might as well return it. A waste of 20 pounds, 6 hours of waiting and emailing and I've got nothing. Use anything but FedEx.

Last year, a driver SUPPOSEDLY made a delivery to my home noted as "delivered" on the sender's and FedEx website. PACKAGE WAS NEVER delivered at least not to my home (security tape to prove it). After I complained to all parties involved, mysteriously the driver showed up 3 days later with the package. When I inquire about the whereabouts of the package, I could not get any answers. On 8/28/18, another driver delivered a package to my address. The instruction (which is also clearly stated in my profile on FedEx manager) is that the package is to be delivered to the back door for medical reasons. Instead, the driver dropped the package at the front door which is not easily accessible to me given that the package is heavy and I only have one working arm.

I immediately called FedEx, the first agent I spoke to offered to send the driver back to rectify their error. It is now over 24 hours, no one has showed up to move the package, instead all I get is "Sorry, we don't know how it happened" or " I don't know why the driver dropped the package at the front". People do make it mistakes, BUT when you can rectify it, you should do the right thing. FedEx had an opportunity to rectify this issue and chose to do nothing. Where is the leadership at FedEx? What kind of training are they giving nowadays? Where is the decency? Anyone should be able to access their package regardless of any limitations they may have as in my case a medical illness.

Okay, my mailbox is 50 yards from my front door!!!

They say my dog won't let them on the front porch, she came running around house barking... She is a 12-year-old Boxer and we have never heard her bark. She wiggles a whole lot and love to play with tennis balls but that's it. I call and they tell me the driver had a bad experience before so he was afraid. Huh, get a new driver that isn't afraid of dogs, not my problem. Get an email telling me delivery today 8-29-18 have waited for it all day, just get another email 3:26 pm now it will be tomorrow by 8:30 pm! Place of the package in the wrong place. I requested all packages to be delivery at the front door of the house, for two reasons: I had an operation of my lower back, and can only lift 10 pounds. And I don’t know when a package is delivery, plus my cameras only monitor the front of the house. Every time a package is delivered to the side of my house my car is damage or mirror re-arrange, the space is very tight. By delivering the package at front I can monitor the package and protected from people and rain (until my daughter gets home), and not when is on the side of the house. Plus he never ring the doorbell.

I just got a call on Sunday from our client saying that items that were supposed to arrive Friday weren't there. I'd always thought FedEx was one of the more reliable shippers, but I haven't used them in a while. And I won't use them again. We scheduled a home pickup for yesterday to get several boxes of my son's belongings up to his college before move-in day. We were told that the pickup window would be between 8 am and 6 pm or something, so we sat home all day and waited for the pickup. When no one had arrived a little after 6, my son called and was told that the driver had come by at 4:30 but no one was home--total BS. (I even know exactly what I was doing at 4:30--feeding my dog in the kitchen because she gets grouchy if she's not fed at 4:30)!

Then I called them myself. The rep had nothing useful to say at all, except that maybe we should put a big sign with our apartment number on our door in case the driver couldn't see it. I have stuff delivered here all the time--no one else seems to have a problem "seeing" the apartment number! And there are only two apartments in the building--two doors! Really not so complicated... So now we have another pickup scheduled for today--another day of waiting around. I called customer service again to see if we could get an approximate time... nope.

The rep obviously didn't give a rat's ** about the issue. I'm usually pretty polite to customer service people, but they are so unresponsive that I actually said, "Do you people actually care about any of this?!" They act as if they're still writing orders down on slips of paper rather than using any kind of computer system, and apparently their drivers either just lie or don't know what the letter "B" looks like. And FedEx doesn't care. So here we sit for another day... not holding my breath for a pickup. Through with FedEx.

As I urgently needed the content of the box, I order with FEDEX an International Priority shipment. I paid for this 273,87$ for this service- this was more than I paid for my personal flight with 20kg luggage and the transport to the Hotel on the same route some hours before!

While I did not expect that you can ship at the same time as I traveled- even if it cost more- I was expecting a “priority” shipment in around 2 days- based on previous experiences on such shipments (4 times the physical shipment time). It took them 7 days(!) for a priority shipment. As a result I could not conduct some urgent business, had to postpone my departure from the hotel in Reykjavik, spent additional money on Taxi, phone calls and time. FedEx has a nice tracking system- It showed that most of the days the priority package was not moving at all! I complained with them- again a nice tool- but no response. Would not recommend to use them at all.

FedEx was once an excellent company providing excellent service. In my business experience in a huge metropolitan area it always was. Unfortunately, my current home experience with FedEx has been absolutely dreadful. I don’t know if this has to do with the fact that I now reside in the boondocks and no longer in a huge metropolitan area. Below are two situations that have occurred far more than once. I often have to be present for certain deliveries as they require an adult signature. So I come home at the time I am informed the deliveries will be made: between 12:05pm and 8pm. I arrive at my home at 11:00am only to find that delivery has been made to some other individual more than two hours before 12:05pm, and signed for by this other person.

So, I request that packages ONLY be delivered to ME. Yet they frequently are delivered to whatever person the FedEx idiot lays eyes on - if that much. So, MY packages with MY name are delivered to anybody who happens to be around. The FedEx idiot does not obtain the name of the receiving and signing person, so they enter MY name over someone else’s signature. I DID NOT SIGN FOR OR RECEIVE THE PACKAGE. The person who was given the package never turns it over to me.

When I file a complaint I am rudely informed that I signed for it and hence have nothing to complain about. I lost my time, and I lost my package. Something else that occurs is that if it is raining, or the FedEx idiot does not see a vehicle in front of the home, THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOCK - they fill out the sticky note indicating that there was nobody available to sign for and accept delivery of the package, stick the note on the door, and leave.

I have actually witnessed this while I was at home waiting for a delivery I was instructed to be at home for - I saw the FedEx truck pull up, driver get out and place sticky note on my door. HE DID NOT KNOCK, or ring the doorbell. I opened my front door, called out, FedEx idiot runs by right in front of me while I am hollering at him, he jumps into truck, and leaves. With my package. Once again, I do not have my package. For all this I take time off work to be at home to sign for and receive my delivery. For all my efforts to follow FedEx’s instructions, my packages either get delivered to someone else, or no attempt is made to deliver. And I PAY LOTS OF MONEY for this nonsense.

They actually suggested I go to all my neighbors to see if they have my package. This is not my responsibility. Then I was told to resolve it with the company I ordered from. How are they involved? They did nothing wrong. FedEx should be the ones researching that. I haven't written a review in the past when this happened but I've had it.

When I called today for the 3rd time I was told it will be picked up tomorrow. We'll see, but that will be 4 days after delivery. Imagine if someone really needed this package! At 12.50 I phoned him up and asked where he was, only to be told that he had been stuck in traffic for at least half an hour, and it would be at least another hour before he could deliver to me. I asked if he was 'working' his way to me instead of what he promised - to come to me straight away, - "NO, NO, not at all." was the reply.

It is just a hassle to deal with FEDEX. What is the CEO doing about all of this complaints? The FedEx website has fake news on their website about being so diligent with their service. Oh please. I can't wait till they close down like the Toys-R-Us. POOR SERVICE. DON'T USE FEDEX, USE UPS OR USPS INSTEAD!!!

I would give this a zero stars if I could. FedEx CONTINUOUSLY leaves packages at the front of my gate instead of walking them up to the door. The gate is NOT locked. There are package thieves that browse the area just looking to steal. I have called to report this issue several times and every time I do, the driver leaves the package in my neighbor's yard, down the street instead of mine. Disgruntled employees need to be fired. Find a job you enjoy more if you cannot do yours effectively!!!

A FedEx package was scheduled to be delivered to me today. Then suddenly it says A delivery attempt was made but the business was closed. 1. I am not a business. 2. My driveway is alarmed and photo taken when alarm goes off. No one ever pulled into my driveway to even try to deliver to me. I called FedEx support and they are very unhelpful, I told them their employee is a liar and should be written up for lying. They acted like this was a normal occurrence there.

FedEx doesn't appear to have cracked the home delivery market. It's still much better at delivering to an office, where human contact is found. I stayed home all day for a wine.com delivery and nobody showed up. This allows the driver to claim they have made an attempt, but nobody but the driver knows if that's true. On my delivery day, nobody buzzed my apartment number, nor phoned me, nor left notification that they had made an attempt. Even the updates on the site simply say, Loaded onto truck for delivery in the morning. This provides an easy method for drivers to cheat the system because FedEx doesn't make contact for attempted delivery, like a phone call or attempted delivery notification. The bad news for wine.com is I no longer make regular orders to them unless they plan on changing shippers.

This is the second time FedEx has done this to me, I got an notification stating my package was delivered @ 12:01 pm. Mind you my daughters were home and mom was there as well. Called and ask. Did anything to check outside. My daughters looked and nothing was outside, I asked did anyone ring the doorbell, they said no one rang the bell. I get off work. Call FedEx. Worst customer service. No one had empathy. Advised they'll have to speak with the driver.

Called today @ 12:30 pm. Spoke with the rep asking why I haven't gotten a call. Per the notes they're still waiting for the driver to respond and will get to me this afternoon. Keep in mind this has happen to me before I ordered something for a family reunion. It says the package was delivered. It was delivered to a house that almost has the same address. I live on 13th ave and 68th ter and they live on 13th ave and 68th St. Of course the first thing I did is drove to the home, ask the people who lives there did they receive a package. Of course they said no. They did not. So I'm livid with the driver and the customer service.

I recently shipped the package via FedEx from Las Vegas that required a signature. It was due to be delivered on Saturday, 11 August. The FedEx man rang the doorbell and left saying no one was home. The door was open and you could see that someone was home. My husband had literally just stepped into the bathroom. The FedEx driver was gone before he could get to the door and now we have to wait until Tuesday to get our package. When I called the number on the sheet I was told I couldn’t even pick up my package. This is unsatisfactory!

Updated on 08/14/2018: My package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday and required a signature, they left a note saying no one was home even though my husband was. This morning I got a notice saying it was delivered but it was not delivered to me. My husband called FedEx within 30 minutes of the notice and they said they would track down the driver and get the package back. It is now seven hours later and I just got off the phone with FedEx again. The driver delivered two packages today but is out of the area until tomorrow and he will try to get it back then.

If I do not get it by 16 August I must initiate a lost package claim through FedEx. This package was valued have $1000 and required a signature from my home but someone else who is given my package. It contained clothes and gifts that I purchased in Las Vegas, are they also going to pay for me to fly out to Vegas and buy these things again - I think not!!! The lady I spoke to on the phone said, "Let’s hope for the best, and thank you for using FedEx." The gall of this person, I will never use FedEx again!

My company uses FedEx to send documents and packages. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called a customer because the FedEx website claimed that their package was delivered, only to hear “I’ve been home all day and haven’t seen a FedEx truck.” Or, the FedEx website will have the status “Undeliverable - returned to shipper” so I’ll call the customer to let them know and they’ll say, “What are you talking about? I got it hours ago.”

On a personal note, I’m writing this while I’m waiting for someone at Customer Service to answer the phone (42 minutes and counting) because my package was supposed to be delivered today, but it’s been sitting at one of their distribution centers for 24 hours and hasn’t moved. Do you remember the scene in Cast Away where Tom Hanks was washed up on the shore surrounded by undelivered FedEx boxes? I think that scene perfectly sums up this business.

We left our gate open today to receive a package that needed to be signed for from FedEx Ground. My husband was working in our yard all day. The gate was opened since early morning. And when I tracked the shipment, they claimed no one was home and they would deliver on Tuesday. The guy I called at FedEx asked if a message was left. I told him if there was it was left at the gate. There was a note attached to a delivery box at the gate. {We do not live in the box.} He made no attempt to drive down to our house. We both were home all day.

Ordered a PC for my daughter. She is turning 13, you all know that age. It's a pretty big deal in most homes. FedEx was supposed to deliver it on Friday, the day before her family get together/celebration. Needed a signature. So I took the day off. I watched 2 FedEx vans drive through my neighborhood, l and then a lady in a large box truck. (Talk about inefficiencies and waste...)

As the big truck left I checked my status for delivery, irritated because we all gate to wait haha, and it said "unable to deliver." Right as she left... I immediately called and was given sorry after sorry.... was told "Saturday delivery, miss work and the bday party to sign." So here it is Saturday. I waited from 7 a.m. because I didn't know their start time, until 2 p.m. when I seen the box truck pull in, same lady from the day before, gets out. She walks to the door across the street, bangs once, immediately walks away and jumps in her truck and rolls out faster than I could go out the door.

I check my updates online. Wont attempt delivery again until Tuesday. 3 days of missed work. Maybe 4 if I stay home Monday out of fear they may try to deliver them. I call. Im told sorry. Im told "let me see what I can do." They come back on to tell me they have no way of doing anything, basically... so basically I should just ** off and maybe they will come back today and if not then Monday and if not then Tuesday or January 3rd, 2057... What the ** kind of ** is that? In what ** world does any of this make sense? Are you people tired of money and looking for bankruptcy as a financial aid for your company or are you all morons? Huge gaps in service. Complete ** disgrace.

I paid FedEx to ship my transmission. This is the biggest regret and nightmare I’ve ever had in life. Not only was it not picked up on scheduled date but it was delivered days after the scheduled drop off. Upon delivery they completely destroyed my transmission. Customer claims department then refuses to pay for it or even take responsibility!!! The problem didn’t stop there. One customer service manager by the name of NICHOL began to slander my character. "You are just like the rest of the unsatisfied customers that try to scam us now to paying for your broken item." NICHOL customer service manager at the Bristol office. Reason for not approving and owning their mistake were: 1. no claim value; 2. package was never securely protected.

So doing my own leg work I received a security video of the auto yard I bought transmission from showing my package on a pallet with plastic wrap. I never received my pallet or the plastic with my transmission. They then began to increase the lies even with video confirmation!!! Reason 2. No claimed value... Well my receipt from my local FedEx office clearly state I claimed the value. Still I was denied my refund. After weeks of fighting and calling everyday I finally got approved to find out 3 weeks more waiting for my money was still not approved by a manager!!

As it stands today my car has been sitting at a shop collecting storage fees as the mechanic had taken my car apart in expectation of a fully functioning transmission to be delivered the day of dismantling my car. So $25 dollars a day for 30 days now is 750$ (And still adding up) that I should not have to pay due to FEDEX negligence in shipping and caring for my package. By the time they finish I’ll have more debt than my car is actually worth by KBB standards.

We have used FedEx multiple times and have had horrible experiences with them. We live in a condo in Kansas City. The Condo is located near an apartment building. They consistently deliver to the apartment building (a completely different address) and then leave, leaving the package as undeliverable. Today, they stopped in front of our condo, remained in the truck, and then posted the package as undeliverable. They said there was no one available to receive the package. We were standing in front of the door looking at them!!! When we called the helpline, they said... "Sorry. Maybe tomorrow or the next." Really??? We have now learned to use UPS or USPS. What does it matter if it take an extra day or two... at least we get it.

I work for the post office. Most people don't know that both UPS and FedEx use the postal service to not only initiate shipments, but to deliver many of their packages. I had to return a camera that didn't work. I used the printed shipping label provided by the maker of the camera and dropped it off at the post office where I work. It took FedEx four days to pick the package up from the post office. It then took another four days for the package to arrive in Houston, less than 200 miles from the origin. Now, three weeks later, there is still no further scans indicating the package has gone anywhere.

On to customer service: FedEx makes you jump through some hoops just to access their online "chat" with a customer service rep. And then you find out you're in the queue at number 34. Seriously? I have to wait through 34 other unhappy people before I can find out that you do not, in fact, have any clue where my package has gone? It isn't like I actually need the camera, right? The next time I have to ship something I will not be using FedEx. Ever.

Updated on 08/09/2018: After finally getting to "chat" with a FedEx customer rep I was told that since "too much time" has elapsed they cannot track the package. They took the package, scanned it into their system, lost it somewhere, and conveniently deleted the tracking information. Now I have to contact the manufacturer, who foolishly utilized FedEx for their package returns, and get them to initiate a claim.

At this point I will now have to purchase another camera at my expense if I expect to ever get to use it for the intended purpose. Waiting another six months or so for FedEx to issue any claim money isn't an option. Using any other available shipping service, including the guy down the street with his donkey, rather than FedEx is certainly an option I will take. What a ridiculously inept company.

What a disaster of company, I honestly do not recommend anyone to use this company to send absolutely nothing. My experience was very bad, I sent a package, exactly an Apple table and so many things went unanswered by this company that "supposedly" ended destroying the article they say. When I placed the claim because that item cost almost $ 700 they were not responsible for their lack of professionalism and incorrect information given to me.

Delivery person rings my doorbell. I open up the door to receive the package and she has her back to me and doesn't acknowledge my presence. After several seconds she drops the package on the doorstep and walks away without a word. I sarcastically say, "I'll take it", as she walks off and she says, "I hear you". There's no real recourse for correcting this type of behavior, but I'll say, if you don't like your job go get another one.
