I Ordered a package, actually became 2 because of weight. Shipped from company and was to be delivered on 12-3-15 at 10:30 am. We did have a weather issue and one of the two packages made it to my town, the other was in Spokane. Next day (12-4), both are on trucks for delivery by 9:30 with scheduled delivery of 10:30 AM. At 10:45 it shows that it is to be delivered on 12-4... no time, so I call them. "We had a delay of 1 hour due to weather so package will be delivered by 3:00 pm." 3:15, call again, "the item is to be delivered by 5:30 pm."

I then talked to customer care. Upon calling around (they called) the local said that the delivery driver was not in the area and had to be back at the office by 4 to complete delivery of picked up items. So I am curious if delivery matters or not. From my experience, we don't. They just want more money for less work. With the conversation on Dec 4, I am also curious if they only deliver where they want to drive.

FEDEX is a horrible company and very unfair to their consumers. I was supposed to have my package delivered by FedEx on a Friday but FedEx decided to change the day to that following Monday. When the driver arrived he did not ring my bell to inform me that he was downstairs. The driver left my package in the lobby unattended. The building contains 30 apartments and anyone going in or out the building had access to my package. My package was stolen and when I contacted Fedex about the incompetent and lazy driver who was sent to deliver my package I was denied any type of reimbursement. I am now out $200.00 thanks to Fedex's horrible business practice.

These guys are so bad. My delivery guy has a habit of delivering packages several days later than what the tracking report states. When a package doesn't arrive, I check the tracking report and it says the driver attempted to deliver the package but that "the business was closed." Keep in mind that my house in no way is or resembles a workplace and the packages in question didn't even requires me to sign upon delivery. What's more, no notes are ever left on my door, leading to the incontrovertible truth that no attempt to deliver the package was made. Other times, it will say "package out for delivery," and then a few hours later it'll say that the delivery was delayed until the next day with no reason given. If it were up to me, I'd never use FedEx again, but sadly merchants I buy from online seem to like them.

I had a package coming and confirmed to be delivered to me on 12/03/215. I also request notification so all was looking good. I schedule traveling next day for meeting, guess what the package didn't arrive and no notification was made. Just my luck. Went to check the status and was changed for next day. Now Im going to lose the ticket and the meeting for waiting next day for the package. I can't leave since I have no insurance and no one to received. Also I called customer service. It was the worst. She also promise me someone will call me back. No one called. Never again with FedEx.

Fedex recently shipped a Lexmark copier for one of our clients back in Oct and it arrived soaking wet to the point the box was falling apart. My client refused shipment as they didn't know if the contents were damaged inside. Our distributor reshipped a second unit out and they received the second one just fine. What is a huge disappointment is the driver says he used liftgate and 2nd floor delivery and they are being charged extra 81.00 freight charge directly to my client. My client has a loading dock on site which would make no sense to back halfway down and use the lift gate then pull the device up a ramp. Second the client location was on the 1st floor as the unit wouldn't have even fit on a pallet through the elevator.

After explaining this to the Customer service and the local freight manager at the FedEx location in Duncan SC, they still are not willing to take off the Lift Gate and Second story charges for my client. "The client signed for it therefore they must pay" is Fedex stance. They did however talk to the driver and he did use the lift gate because he didn't know they had a loading dock. Their mistake is your cost. They didn't like it that I said I should send them an invoice for the wasted time on the first mistake of a wet soaked device, as we had scheduled hours to install on that date which also is a waste of time. Make sure that you don't sign for things now on FedEx delivery as they can then tack on extra charges you may not be aware of.

The screen was not cracked when I handed this laptop to Yvette ** at the counter. I watched her before leaving the business to make sure she was packing my laptop well, and I was very concerned. So I lingered, pretending to be shopping, only to watch Yvette ** stop packing my laptop to come to the counter to help another customer. She left my laptop on the table in the middle of packing it. I would not use FedEx again.

Worst customer service I have experienced in my life. This is the third day now I am sitting at home waiting for FedEx to pick up my luggage. On the first day they just did not show up. The second day, they apparently were at the house but no one was there. I left the front door open all day and I can see the street from my room, there was 100% no FedEx van all day. I had to reconfirm my address. They had the correct one. Rescheduled pick up for the next day between 10 am and 3 pm. Called them at 2.30 pm to reconfirm, suddenly they had a completely different address (not even similar), had to give them my address for the THIRD time now and pick up for today was scheduled between 10.30 am and 6pm anyways although I specifically told them to pick it up before 3pm. Now I can sit another 3 hours at the window. Never going to use this again!

They have a package of mine being held hostage. Demanding that I have to wait for them for 12 hours to show or not show then they want me to sign ahead to leave the package. Really!!! Are you going to pay the cost if it gets stolen??? I am a night working an average of 12 hrs per night. Who in their right mind can stay up 24 hours to receive a package???

To top it all I have been told that their regular driver for my area is out on medical leave. Really!!! So as big as FedEx is you can't hire extra drivers for the areas during the Holiday season --- All I hear is Excuses. Please do the public a favor & go out of Business. Your Business is driven by customer needs, get with the program or SHUT DOWN. I also put this comment on their Facebook page 2X's & they have taken it off. I guess they don't want to hear reality.

Placed an order through Verizon and it said it would be delivered next day. Now this order was placed the wed, Thursday was thanksgiving so I did not expect anything to happen that day, on Friday FedEx received my package at about 6 am. Now I expect it next day which Verizon assumed the same saying I would have it by 8:30 pm Saturday. I received my tracking number Friday from FedEx and it stated that the package was a "FedEx priority overnight shipping" but noticed the estimated delivery from them was now Monday by 4:30 pm.

Well, Monday came and the tracking said it left for delivery at about 7:30 am, and it is now 7:30 pm. The fact that they did not deliver within the "overnight" or by the 4:30 deadline they created is a double failure to me. They need to send updates to people that are expecting a delivery. This package must be signed for and they have me sitting around waiting while they do whatever. Thanks for wasting my time!!! That will make 2 days of waiting past the day it should have been delivered. As I said if they gave me better updates as to where my stuff is, I would have been better off going to get the damn package.

Item ordered Sat PM Nov 21. Tracking says delivery by Tuesday. I check tracking Tues afternoon, it says "delivered to front door at 1019 AM". Well I was here all day, they did not deliver here. I call FedEx and they first insist it must be somewhere on the property, or did I ask my neighbors. Right, because why, they already know they made a mistake? They didn't believe it wasn't here, but finally say they "will open investigation and call with in 2 hrs". (Not). You can see where this is going. I was later contacted by my POST OFFICE that afternoon, telling me someone had called THEM asking if I had ordered something. Yes that's right. It was delivered at a wrong address. I called the other town resident, yes, she did have my (large) package but did not want to bring it up as she could see it was a gift and didn't want to spoil my surprise. (It is a kid's riding tractor for my son, photo on box). Wow, wasn't my fellow town member so nice? Not so, FedEx.

I called FedEx back (because still no call) and they say my complaint was filed wrong and they would have to restart the investigation. I told them they had misdelivered it, gave them the address, asked them to go fetch, as delivery was to be by Tuesday night. They kept insisting (like they had previously) that it must have been mislabeled and what does it say on the label? Well how the heck would I really know, since it's not HERE, but I could say that yes it did have the right address, because the other resident read it off to me. They say they will "contact the station and get back to me." Uh huh. Later I get a call telling me "they allow themselves 48 hours" to resolve these things. ??? Meanwhile no package for us, no apology, no reimbursement, no nothing??? They won't give me any $, but they will to the shipper? Right because I'm the one tracking down the package?

Husband picked up the package on the way home that night. It's now THREE days later, they did not call. I called FedEx this am, they still can't pull their heads out of that dark place they stuck it, don't know why I haven't called, they are going to contact the station... Blah blah blah. I told him to stuff it, I was done waiting. I'm writing a crappy review. Piss poor customer service.

The sender reshipped it and now I track it every day and it said it was at my house at 11 when I was home and it said that unable to deliver because business was closed which is a lie. Then I call right now because they said I could go pick it up today and they say it's not there.

There was never a hold put on it and they just tried to deliver it 10 minutes ago and nobody was there - business was closed. When I've been here so there's another lie. But yet they can come to my front door and put a sticker on it but they can't try to deliver it to my front door. And what's funny is at 8:30 a.m. I received a FedEx package and at 11 a.m. they said I wasn't here or business closed. Oh and then I told me that they don't home deliver on Monday but yet here it is Monday and they said they just tried to deliver it. On 11/18/15 at 5:41 p.m. your driver is in violation of criminal trespassing and charges could be filed at this time. Driver is recorded on video, pulling onto drive, comes to 3 ft from front door, while talking on phone, throws package on front door and leaves. Had this driver been caught, the truck would have been blocked in and seized, until driver arrested and charged criminal trespassing and court order to release. Again FEDEX has not got the message and continues to drive on my driveway causing cracks from overweight trucks on drive. At this time, the notice and complaint will be filed with the FCC. This complaint will be copied and pasted on FCC complaint to assure FEDEX has received more than ample notice that their drivers will be charged with criminal trespassing if ever return back to this property again.

I will make complaint at this time to Fayette County Sheriffs office, so that when your drivers return they will be arrested on the spot. Complaint of trespassing will become a criminal action upon entrance to location. I make every effort to assure that no shipper will ever ship by FEDEX to this address, this includes every division of FEDEX. I can not however control how others may attempt to send me a package. Therefore FEDEX needs to advise all subcontractors or affiliates that they are subject to arrest if they return to this address.

I have UPS deliveries almost every day and can tell you for over 9 years their software allows drivers to be alerted not to drive on driveway. FEDEX is massively behind by years and losing massively as a result. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY FEDEX EVER. AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE FEDEX HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY WARNED.

It was suppose to be done by 4pm. Got a call at 3pm, the order wouldn't "print" correctly so I left work to inquire, since the sample earlier printed fine. Fold and stapling made it off centered. I directed Gabriel ** to go ahead and "print" I will fold them myself.

I came back at 4, not ready and no poster. At 4:45 checking out I'm told the price is $436 something. Not the price I was quoted and didn't do any of the work that I required. She then decided to I guess get rid of me and charged me $193.98. I read the receipt. It says that it was a deposit on an order. When I got home to view the prints they're dull and not clear. I look at the sample print from earlier and it's totally different. I was given copies instead of prints and the quality is horrible. I can not use these for the memorial service. We are a company that does a lot of shipping to customer and to and from our suppliers. FedEx offered us a decent rate to go with them. They have gotten worse and worse with their shipping. The final straw was two weeks ago (Nov. 6) when we shipped to a customer. One of the three packages - a wooden crate of 20x20x18 - was opened, apparently gone through and then when they could not completely close the crate correctly, they packed the entire thing in a cardboard box and taped it up.

When the customer opened the box we found out what had happened and he called us. We immediately called FedEx and after talking with three people I was told that based on their information the crate had not been repacked. They gave me a case number and promised to look in to the problem and would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. I did not hear from them so I called again. After being shuffled around I finally talked with someone who said the same thing again, they would check the locations the crate had changed hands and call back in 24-48 hours. That was a week ago and no work from them at all.

I have now put in a claim to get money for the equipment that has been lost. We would rather have the lost equipment since it is manufactured by our supplier in Denmark and takes a while to get the new equipment, plus having to pay shipping, duty and taxes again from Denmark into the U.S. The customer needs the equipment to do the installation on his boat. We are having to send him a temporary part from our demo unit until we can get a new part from Denmark. As a small company, we cannot afford to have a shipping company lose, break or deliver late or to the wrong address any of our equipment. FedEx is not friendly to small business at all. They have drivers who are not careful with packages, who are lazy and who aren't smart enough to figure out where an address is. We have had enough of this and are going to take our shipping needs elsewhere.

We were waiting for our delivery Saturday. The driver placed an attempt to deliver on our door and didn't knock! I have dogs, they didn't bark because he never knocked! I saw the note on my door when I was going outside with my dogs around 10:35 a.m. I called customer service and ask the representative to help me to get my package by picking it up instead and he said that the origination FedEx receiving in my city was closed (at 11:00 a.m) and that it would be delivered a Tuesday! I asked if I could do something else and he said I could transfer the package to be deliver to a closer station so I could pick it up the same Saturday. Well, I waited the whole day to later be told by FedEx customer service that the original service station has been open that day until 6. That they don't know why the representative told me that and that when I request a transfer package it takes around 24 hrs to be done, so that I would still get my package on Tuesday.

To make things worst I have to say that the 1st representative that I spoke with didn't speak English. My husband was trying to seek to him, and he just couldn't communicate effectively. I took the call because I'm bilingual and not even I could understand him, I asked him to speak Spanish to me and then we could finally had a conversation that made sense. HOWEVER this person, even after I spoke and explain things in SPANISH, I don't think that he had a knowledge of his work or operations, he was the one that told me to send the package to another location when I could just had pick it up that day and he said I couldn't because it was closed. (That station was not closed; he gave me wrong information) and because of him I couldn't get my package on time.

So int his intense 2 employees at FedEx messed up a denier; First the Driver for not doing his work, and second the CUSTOMER SERVICE representative that did not gave me accurate information and made things worst. Oh, and when I called back to make a formal complaint, the 2nd CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE was another hispanic that didn't speak good English! I am bilingual, I expect a customer service person to speak proper English if she is working in The USA. Has FedEx taken their service call Department to Mexico or other out of country location? Following the shipping notification for my purchases, I saw that the items were being shipped separately in two packages. Luckily they were scheduled to be delivered on the same day and it so happened I was home that day... all day. I live in an apartment building which is on an busy city street lined with apartment buildings. My building is secure with an entry way and a lobby both of which a guest must be buzzed through. The door bell system is also tied into my smart phone so when the door bell rings it registers as an incoming call. By 4 pm when my bell still had not rung, I looked at the tracking info. Imagine my surprise when it said both packages had been delivered at 10:47 am and left at the front door. Now I had already been down to collect my mail around noon and did notice several packages for other residence but none for me so seeing that I went back down to the lobby, the entry way and the front of the building... nothing.

I called FedEx, they told me to look in the yard and ask my neighbors... I live in a city apartment building, what yard, city - neighbors, did they want me to knock on every door in the building? After two calls they agreed to track the packages by speaking with the driver. After two days, they called back to tell me that the driver said he left both packages at the mailboxes of a brick apartment building. All the buildings on the street are brick! And the mailboxes are in the second lobby not at the front door as it said on the shipping information. Also, who buzzed him in, it was not me. The CS rep suggested that I must have missed the door bell despite the fact that I told her the door bell rings my cell phone and there was no missed call. Then she said that was all they could do and I should contact the retailer.

When I asked why I should contact the retailer when it was FedEx who is responsible for delivering, she told me that speaking with the driver is all they do and to pursue any further action I would need to put in a claim for reimbursement. First of all, it was like speaking to a recording, it didn't matter what I told her she repeated the same thing, "The driver said he left the packages by the mailboxes." Secondly, she continued to imply that it wasn't really FedEx's problem because as far as they were concerned the packages were delivered. The whole experience was a frustrating exercise... from the beginning I could tell they weren't going to find the packages or take responsibility for them.

Amazingly, the retailer will reimburse me and since these were gifts for an upcoming shower they will send the merchandise to my nearest store so I can get them on time and more importantly won't have to contend with FedEx. It is unfortunately that this retailer uses FedEx because it means that I will no longer shop online with them or any other retailer who uses FedEx to deliver. What a horrible company and what terrible terrible customer service... an example of a business too big to think that it matters if they are bad at what they do!

I recently ordered a tablet computer from Amazon which was delivered via FedEx Ground. FedEx Ground damaged the computer by crushing the package as was clearly evident by markings and distortion of the package. Upon this realization, I contacted the seller and was given a Return Merchandise Authorization. I then SAT and waited for several days without hearing anything further. I then contacted the seller who ask me if I had been contacted by FedEx.

The following week I found a crumpled and weathered door tag on the driveway. I had no idea of whether it was even related to me or my address or was simply a blown scrap piece of paper. Since it contain no information relative to me and it was essentially blank, I discarded it. 2 days later I saw another door tag this time in a flower bed. At this time I concluded that it must be related to me in some way. But it contained no information or directions. I immediately emailed FedEx to inquire about the door tag number. I received a non-reply email from FedEx indicating that it pertained to the RMA including its tracking number and the RMA number.

With this information, I called FedEx to ask if I could simply drop the package off at a local FedEx facility and thereby quickly resolve the issue. The FedEx representative told me that I could drop off the package at the Holly hall facility here in Houston. Thrilled, drove to that location and presented the package to the lady at the counter. She indicated that she could not accept the package and she mentioned something about it being an Express. At that point I was thoroughly confused because she did not consult the computer or look up any information regarding the tracking number. She told me that I would have to take it to a shipping or drop off location.

I returned home and eventually I found a drop off location in a strip mall. I called that facility to ask if I could drop the package off there and I told them the circumstances. The representative sarcastically told me that that was their reason for being in business and that of course I could drop it off there. This time, less thrilled I drove to that location and the 8300 block of Main Street only to be told that I would have to buy a box and pay the shipping charges back to the seller. Again there seem to be no understanding of what the RMA authorization meant. I knew that the information that the employee gave me was incorrect.

So I determined to seek further information from the seller and FedEx. FedEx left two door tags. But I have no idea what to do. Multiple calls to FedEx gave me multiple directions of what to do. I was told that the driver would have to pick up the baggage and print a mailing label. Only the driver could print the mailing label. The people at the FedEx locations that I've visited could not print the mail slip. After a week, the situation continues unresolved.

In Florida they are very courteous and they were more than willing to put the packages inside. I use a cane, cannot bend, and I am unable to lift. I feel that Those Drivers should respect people more. I think that FedEx should not be allowed to deliver packages. UPS and the USPS put packages inside for me. After 2 hours of waiting after hours on a Friday night, the driver never came. No one could explain to me why each rep gave false information and each one passing the blame to another. I drove 40 minutes to get the package from the FedEx hub without 1 apology. I find this to be beyond, "Very dissatisfied with the experience." I am very frustrated with FedEx and the delivery of my order. The East St. Louis facility called me last Friday night (Oct. 30) to tell me the address on my order was incorrect and the driver couldn't find my home (in reality the address is correct). They then said the item would be delivered on Saturday, Oct. 31. It was not delivered. I then contacted Fed Ex chat on Monday, Nov. 1, giving them explicit directions to my home and was told someone would call me about the delivery in 2 hours - I did not receive any call. The delivery was then rescheduled for yesterday, and it never came. FedEx has my phone number and if the driver can't find my home, he could easily call me for directions. I've lived here approximately 30 years; UPS can find my home, as can the mail carrier. I don't want to order online from retailers using FedEx because I don't want the headache of their incompetency. I'm now waiting to see if the package will be delivered today.

Here is my problem and I'm sure no one will do anything about it but I feel I must send this anyway. I set up a pick up yesterday at our warehouse location like I do any other day, whether the customer requests UPS or FedEx. And scheduled my pick up as I always do, then took my package to its normal pick up location, as I always do so that it could wait to be picked up. But when I arrived this morning, the package was still in the same location and had not been picked up. Now this has happened on numerous occasions and no one ever does anything about it, and well quite frankly I am sick and tired of this happening.

I am using an express service because I need what I am shipping to arrive where I've sent it in a faster time. And I feel as an express service you should want to make sure this happens for the customers as we are paying a much higher rate for this service instead of sending the shipment ground! This was a 2 day shipment that will now take 3 unless as I was told by the customer service operator on the phone this morning, who also didn't give a care in the world about my now destined to be late package, I could change to an overnight service. Seriously, now my company has to pay the extra high price of overnight because one of your carrier decided not to pick my package up?! What kind of logic is that??

I already have to give the customer some kind of discount to help repair the fact that they are not going to receive the materials they ordered in time for the medical research project they are working on. And you're going to say that they called here... They did not, we checked the caller IDs on all the phones in our building and there are no calls from FedEx... Also when you call our system it gives you an option for shipping and they would be my phone and I didn't not receive any calls from FedEx about this pick up! It's pretty ridiculous that this continues to happen. This is the reason we are very limited in our use of your "Services" as we have found them to be so unreliable.

This is the return item letter I sent out from an item I ordered from Amazon. Pretty much sums it up. Unbelievable. "FedEx is returning this item to you today. The delivery was stated for 5-7 business days, which I would be back in town for and the driver attempted delivery the next day. I requested that it be sent to a specific location by me to be picked up, the driver said that would be fine. It was then delivered back to their major warehouse for me to pickup. I called this morning to verify that it was ready and they were open and they said 9 am to 9 pm.

Surprised they were open on a Sunday, I called again to verify and was given the same information. I drove an hour to that location to pick it up to have all of the gates locked. When I called again they said I was given the wrong information and they are closed on Sundays. I told them to return the package to you because I am traveling for the next month and could not come back to pick it up again and that I would never deal with their incompetent company again. I am still interested in this item as it is a gift but unless it can be shipped another way, I will have to get a refund and purchase from another seller. I would strongly consider using another service for your deliveries. What I experienced today was completely unacceptable. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you."

At 7:01 pm (actually didn't received notice until 7:20 pm) a "delivery exception" was put on the package. Because this has happened numerous times, I have the phone # to the FEDEX local hub. Line just kept ringing busy. Called 1-800 FEDEX and they told me they couldn't get through either and that the hub would not read their messages until Tuesday.

Now our package states that it won't be delivered until Tuesday (11/3) by the end of the day. We had some bad rain in Austin on Friday, however, UPS was delivering packages in our neighborhood ALL DAY. There was no flooding where we live. Oh no, not FEDEX. If the weather in Alaska is bad, they post a message saying there are weather delays. If Amazon Prime continues to use FEDEX, we will close our Amazon Prime account.

I told her that I would be glad to pay these charges when the item was successfully delivered, and that I would not prepay them. I was told that delivery could be withheld if I did not prepay. But my point is the consumer now pays more in insurance than the actual cost of shipping a bag. If you give someone a box - and it does not arrive via all the scans the consumer literally loses thousands since a piece of luggage is $500 itself, and then add the clothes..... I might as well leave a bag on the side of the road and ask for someone to deliver it to me.

Why ever would i agree to $227 when I could have picked it up myself. They are complete thieves. This is more than it cost to ship from Italy. I am beyond livid and will never use FedEx again.

I recently ordered a bicycle online, and tracked it through FedEx. The day it was supposed to arrive my husband was home all day. At the end of the day the tracker updated and said the bike had been delivered and dropped off at door, only we never received it. We contacted FedEx who told us they would have to do a 48hr investigation and that they would contact us at the end of the second day. We didn't hear from them so we called the next morning only to have them tell us that they would call by the end of the day, which they did to tell us that they are no longer looking into the situation and closing the investigation as a lost package, that we would have to get with the company who sold us the bike and have them send a complaint to FedEx.

We tracked that bike all the way to FedEx, aren't they then responsible from there with merchandise? The holidays are coming and if this is how they are running things at their company, then we need to worry about all the kids "lost" toys. Am I right in thinking that FedEx has a responsibility to reimburse the customer for the lost item? Any thoughts you have would really be appreciated. If anything, I just don't want this to happen to anyone else especially during the holidays. Thank you.

I paid FedEx to package and ship an item I sold on eBay, and they are denying due to lack of packaging. I even went and got a signed letter from the manager of the store that packed it with their own FedEx letterhead and they have now attempted to ask for more information that I already supplied. No idea who I have to talk to in order to fix this problem. I paid for insurance, but apparently that means nothing. You might be saying to yourself, "Well there has to be something he is not telling us," and you would be wrong. I did everything by the numbers, and I even sent them a copy of their packaging pledge and still I get this. I highly recommend not using them. If package and ship for anything of any value and if it is valuable don't throw your money away by paying for insurance that they will never own up to.

I expected to get a package today. However, it was not delivered. It was the second attempt to deliver the package. I had requested the package to be dropped off at a FedEx location to avoid missing another attempt. I called FedEx to see why the package was not at the FedEx location. The representative told me that it is at a ground warehouse and I can't pick it up there. I did not know that it takes three attempts until the package is held at a FedEx location. He didn't tell me that until later in the conversation. If I would had known earlier, it would had avoided the dissatisfaction of the call. He also said that I couldn't be heard in the phone. There are not any sounds coming from my end. Other people are able to hear me on phone calls. Towards the end of the call, I can hear his tone change. Therefore, it left both parties unhappy. All I wanted was my package and any relevant information.

I tracked the items and in their tracking it was shown that a new date for delivery was requested for three weeks later - this was a lie. I asked them about this and they admitted they had an issue which held up the items and when they put it in the computer they mis-typed the date. They stated the package would be delivered the next day between 12 am and 2 pm. The package again did not show. The customer service is awful and will say anything to get you off the phone. The shipping department puts in changes that are not requested just to hide their screw ups. Terrible company.

I was expecting an envelope to be delivered on October 6. When it didn't arrive, I became concerned, and saw via FedEx tracking that it had been delivered on October 7. Problem is, the envelope was just not there at my front door. I assumed that it had been stolen, and so initiated a FedEx investigation. Their investigation confirmed that it had indeed been delivered to my address. Guess what? It had been delivered by mistake to my neighbor's house, a neighbor who never really uses his front door. So I called FedEx to report this, and they insist that it was delivered to my (the correct) address. I told them they were wrong. They kept insisting it was delivered to the right address. That's why this is bizarre – I kept telling them it went to the wrong house, they kept saying that it didn't. How the heck would they know?? Guess the customer is not only wrong, he also doesn't participate in the FedEx alternate universe.

Fedex has lied to me several times about a delivery. They said they couldn't deliver because my gate was closed but would deliver the next day between 4:30 and 5: 30. I have been very sick recovering from major surgery and was so upset by the constant lies that I almost wound up back to hospital when I just got out after a month of recovery. They are making me sicker and setting me back.

Today I postponed doing a major medical procedure that could kill me if I don't get it done. I opened my gate and locked up my dog. When it got to be 5:30 and no package, I called them which in itself is very difficult because of their impossible automated answering services. They first lied and said I had no packages to be delivered. When I insisted, they said on, "The packages were left in your garage between 2 and 3". That was not what they agreed to do. They said they would deliver it to my door. So they said they would be here in an hour to bring the packages from my garage to my front door. I waited more than an hour and went through the same upsetting process again. This time I was lied to again and the packages didn't come and the driver did not come back.

So again I called and went through the same annoying process and another agent lied to me and said there was no delivery. I asked to talk to a supervisor and someone named "Billy" (no last names give, but he did give me a location ID of SALRC. Refused to email me a confirmation of our conversation or his promise to have my packages delivered to my door tomorrow. I really don't think they will do it. I still have not done my medical procedure and it is getting crucial. So at this point I don't care if I get the packages or not. Even UPS delivered today when they said they would and on time. Fedexcuses and lies should be ashamed. I know there are lots of people who are upset by Fedexcuses and I will just be one of many.

Today I was expecting a package to be delivered. I was home ALL DAY waiting for the package. No one knocked on my door, no slip was left on my door, yet according to tracking info FedEx claims this package was delivered to my front door. I was anxious (and in desperate need) for the arrival of the package. I constantly opened my front door all day to just check to see if my package was here. I have looked outside both doors so many times today my neighbor probably think I'm insane.

I contacted FedEx. They gave me a Case ID number. They said someone should call me by the next business day (tomorrow). That is all well and good except that I am a chronic pain patient due to spinal disease. The item I ordered was to assist in relieving some pain & help me sleep. NO, IT IS NOT MEDICATION.

This has been a CONSISTENT problem with FedEx for over a year now. Every time I order something and FedEx is the delivery company (something I have no control over) items either NEVER arrive or the tracking info says the item was delivered on this day when in fact the item will take several more days to arrive. The last time this happened and I made a complaint the tracking info said "item was delivered on the dock". I live nowhere near any area that we would have a "dock". I live in a single story home on a normal residential street.

I have had it with FedEx in every single way. This is very unprofessional. Companies are certainly receiving constant complaints about packages not being delivered by FedEx. Services are NOT being rendered. Packages just go missing randomly? Packages are delivered, yet mysteriously are invisible or there is a mistake consistently in delivery/tracking information?

If this was an isolated incident I would be understanding. However, the fact that as a chronic pain patient it is easier for me to order items to be delivered to my home due to difficulty walking and never receiving a single item shipped by FedEx on time or sometimes not at all is beyond a minor problem. This is a MAJOR ISSUE with this company. My street sign is clearly visible. My house number is clearly visible on my mailbox and on my house by the front door.

When I receive a package delivered by UPS if they say it has been delivered, then it has been delivered! I can set my clock to UPS delivery times. If the USPS says an item has been delivered then it has been delivered! I wish every company would just stop using FedEx for their parcel deliveries and let the professionals at UPS handle it.

The company sent the package FedEx ground and when I got home, I found the package at the end of our driveway, right by the street where all traffic drives by and people walk by, out in the HOT sun... Luckily, I did not work this day and was able to come home a few hours after it was delivered because it was in the HOT SUN, close to melting... Even the ice bags that were enclosed were ALL melted. If it had not been for the good packaging the company used and me getting home a couple of hours after delivery, it would have been completely ruined.

This is not the first time I have had trouble with FedEx... One year, a package was supposed to be delivered to my work address; the package was left downstairs (I worked in a building on the 11th floor)... Since no one claimed it, it was sent back and my daughter did not get her Christmas present. When I called the company to send it back to me and gave them a different address, they were sold out of the merchandise that I had purchased for my daughter. Needless to say, I am very dissatisfied with FEDEX... They leave anything anywhere without consideration... I do not like FedEx.

So I waited some more. Ordered pizza. The pizza delivery guy shows up and while paying him I notice a notice on my door. No. you have got to be kidding me? The driver had left his number on the note (one for their office in Woodbridge) and I called him. I could not understand a word he was saying at first and, to my shame, I did demand he speak English. He was speaking English, but at a high-rate, like a machine gun, which does not work well when both parties have cell phones. He said he had knocked and that he was no longer in the area. But was willing to meet me somewhere to deliver the package to me. I asked if he would deliver the package and he said he could try again on the weekend. I wasn't going to be here on the weekend and called the 800 number. It seems, as I waited for a live operator, that the computer alerted me to the fact that the driver had tried to deliver the package at 12:44... Really?

I finally got somebody real but she could not help me. She could send the deliver a request to redeliver but not get a reply - the drivers were contractors and there was no system set up for two-way communication. I called again just now, around 5:20 and another operator said, no, he had not heard any reply yet but that the driver had till 9:30 PM to deliver the package. So here I wait. I assume if it is not delivered before nightfall I should just tell them to forget and tell the seller that FedEx refused to deliver the package. NOT couldn't, but wouldn't. Woodbridge and Alexandria are not that far away from each other. I had problems with UPS but I can't say that they were this... Lazy.

I was moving from NJ to Florida, so I shipped my tv via FedEx. Worst decision ever! My tv arrived a day later than scheduled in a damaged box so I asked the delivery driver if it was ok because it did not look like that when I shipped it, so he said "oh, it didn't " then left. Moving along, I bring it in the house and proceed to open it, as I remove the blankets and bubble wrap I used to pack it, I noticed the screen was hanging forward and broken. It looked like someone beat it with a bat and drove over it with the truck.

The box stated "flat panel tv kit, fragile" in huge bold letters on the outsides of the box. The tv was also protected with 8 point protection foam and plastic wrap. I contacted FedEx and opened a claim because I had insured my tv. The claims representative requested pictures of my tv and the box and what I used to package it, so per her request, I provided them. I had made it clear in my photo attachments that I had thrown away the bubble wrap because I cut it off the tv and wasn't expecting to see what I had saw.

After a month, I didn't hear anything and contacted them to find out the status of my claim and I was told they were continuing with the claim. A week later I received a letter stating they denied my claim because I didn't package it properly. Yes I did! My package wasn't handled properly, otherwise the box too would not have been damaged the way it was. Also, the driver lied and said that he had multiple delivery attempts which was not true and apparently they get paid more every time they have to re deliver things.

And so they charged me about 3 times what I was quoted. So not only was my tv completely damaged by a neglectful delivery team, I was also targeted and a victim of fraud. Good thing I paid attention to the tracking and was able to dispute the charges but that still doesn't take care of what they did to my tv or my experience. I find it breath taking that such a well known company can treat customers this way and get away with it.

I pre-ordered an Apple iPhone a week or more ago after a year of really wanting the new iPhone 6 plus. Well, my current phone decided that it wanted to stop functioning and I ran out of storage. So finally I broke down and decided to splurge on myself for my birthday. I bought the Iphone6S plus (Just an FYI I was beyond excited and still am.) This is the most expensive thing I've bought in about 2 years. But now the problem comes with the delivery, which is by no means Apple's fault. UPS is kind enough to deliver when people are home (surprise, surprise, I have a day job like the majority of people) and they know I can't get out of work just to sit at home and wait on a package. This is why I LOVE UPS. Well unfortunately, this isn't the company used to deliver my much-anticipated phone.

FedEx is the company they used. FedEx came at 12:45 while I was at work. When I got home I immediately called the FedEx helpline, because they left a note on my door. On the first call a foreign man whose English could use some improvement answered and I hung up on him after repeatedly trying to understand him and communicate what I needed. Now the man was nice and from what I could make out he really was trying to help but the communication barrier was too much for either of us. I called a second time and after an arduous argument with an automated system I FINALLY got someone with competent English (and by this time I was crying, I will admit that). The lady was very nice and sincere in her apology and by her level of competence in calming down a distraught and upset customer she's had to do it a lot.

I really felt bad for crying on her, but the level of disappointment and the amount of obstacles I went through to find someone to talk to had me frazzled. But I begged her to find out if the FedEx driver was still in town, I would willingly meet him on his route just to get my phone, but alas he had already left with my phone and the only way I could get it is if I drove 1 hour on my birthday to go pick it up from the FedEx holding cell where they had it or, because they don't deliver on weekends, wait until Monday AND use up some vacation time so I could be there to sign for it. Yeah, happy birthday to me because they don't deliver on the weekends and now I have to take time off from my job to wait at my house wasting my vacation hours just to meet the man at the door at whatever ungodly hour he decides to deliver it. I plan to be awake and at the end of my driveway to meet him. I don't even want his truck to be seen in my yard that is how upset I am.

And I'm a very nice person, I work in customer service and I'm extremely flexible but the hoops and annoyance I went through has made me very bitter about the experience. I'm sorry to be one of "those people" but after this nonsense is over on Monday, I will in all honesty not give any other business to FedEx and I plan to hold to that. I can't afford to sit at home and wait on a delivery because they want to come to my house at 12:45. No. I will let my beloved UPS man handle my needs, at least their delivery route lets me be home to greet him and I always get a competent English speaker on the first call. And I realize that they won't leave a phone sitting on someone's doorstep, but if you know it's one of those packages why would you go at 12:45? Why not 3 or 4 or 5 when normal people are home?

And I'm not angry at Apple or the driver or the man whose English makes my head hurt or the really nice lady who helped me stop squalling on the phone, but at the fact that FedEx doesn't plan better. You have a package, containing something very important to someone, that needs to be signed for because it's expensive and delicate and very much anticipated and you choose to deliver it at a time when most people are at work. On a Friday no less. You know that person is unlikely to be home and you know you don't deliver on weekends and that your nearest storage facility is an hour away. Planning makes a difference. Common sense plays a role too. And breaking someone's heart a day before their birthday loses you business and the business of anyone that she has influence over.

And believe me, I cried talking to my mom, my best friend, and a cousin. All of whom had similar bad experiences with FedEx and all vowed they'd never again trust them with their packages because of it. And yes a phone is a stupid thing to be upset over but it was my one thing that I had wanted, I saved for it and planned for it and was looking forward to meeting the package delivery guy at the door to get it. And yes even the UPS delivery man heard me crying because he delivered two packages to me that day and asked why my eyes were red. That is how upset I was. I will, on my life, never allow a package to be shipped to me via FedEx. I will pay penalty fee's, extra shipping or I'll just go without.

On Arrival the driver said these papers are incorrect. They were not. He rejected by throwing them on the floor. He left. Tried again the next day. Same papers no difference. He took the parcels after some altercation. The parcels arrived at the destination to my amazement, as he had said "I will take them and they will sit in our office for 4 days and then they will be sent back to you." They were not! Next thing I heard, was that I was BANNED from FEDEX forever. Saves me time and explanations as I was NEVER going to use them EVER AGAIN anyway. Of all the couriers I use according to destination worldwide I get more problems with FEDEX than any other company. Note to all -- DO NOT USE FEDEX. They really are a bad outfit.

So I was in search of a new laptop for my daughter. I found one on eBay from a top seller and a great price. So, I paid for it and they shipped it out promptly, using FedEx. A few nights go by, and my daughter (who is only 4) was asking about her new laptop, which she was so excited to get, I told her it was going to be here in the morning, as I knew it had to of been here by then. So, just to be sure, I got onto my eBay account and checked the tracking of the laptop. "Delivered" it said, "left at front door" at around noon, earlier that day.

I panicked for a second, knowing that I was home all day, I had gotten the mail around 11 am and UPS brought packages between 1&2 pm. (I work from home, so I receive many packages.) So I immediately went outside my front door and looked everywhere, the bushes, down the steps, inside my front door, the back door, and nothing, no package. This laptop was a 15.6" laptop, it could not have been missed. So I did what most mothers would do in this situation... I cried! I was so upset for my daughter, she had been looking forward to getting her new laptop, and I was afraid I'd have to tell her that it was not coming now.

So I get onto the FedEx website and file a claim, and I let the eBay seller know, he also did the same. I had my husband call FedEx the next morning and they said they would get to the bottom of it. Later that day, the driver came to my door, claiming he had left the package there. I get packages to my house all day everyday! I live in a nice area with nice neighbors, never had an issue before EVER, now I order a laptop and it's just GONE?? BS!

The shipping label had the name of the pawnshop on it called "Cash Inn" so I'm sure "SOMEONE" saw the label and decided to keep it for themselves. I was home that day, I work in my kitchen which is only a few feet from my front door, I got packages at 2 other times that day, before and after the laptop had said it was delivered, and yet it just disappeared, right? The ground suddenly opened up and swallowed the package, yeah ok. So after a few days of them saying they'd figure it out, I get a notice saying the investigation was closed, and well I was out $150 and my daughter was out a laptop. Never heard from them again and never saw the laptop. I will never use FedEx again if I can help it, bunch of crooks!

I had a 21 package business consignment shipped from abroad, paid with insurance cover by the express service. Several days later, 2 arrive late and one is lost. I reported this, however they made me a run around for about 6 weeks, never calling me back or even emailing me as promised. In the end, nearly 6 or 7 weeks later without telling me anything. It arrived repackaged by them with the box clearly labelled by them as "damaged in handling by FedEx". The original box was also in the packaging so I could see what had happened. Clearly the original box was badly torn from bad handling (it was an official USPS strong parcels box). The item inside was severely damaged in a way that could only have been done with very bad handling. As the metal chassis was actual distorted so badly I could not even get it back in place by force.

At first they told me they would grant a claim, but then made me wait even more weeks, and eventually came back and said another department denied the claim and they can’t help. When queried they said they tried to fob me off by saying packaging was inadequate, even though even a simple minded person can see clearly that this nature of damage has nothing to do with packaging, as it was so badly damaged. It’s so obvious the FedEx team had tried hide the item, as it had been so badly damaged, and so it was lost initially, but after my chasing it up and complaining, they mysteriously found and delivered it, and then within the company tried to cover it up under an agreed story of bad packaging.

I always thought FedEx was meant to be one of the best, professional and trusted global couriers. Believe me, you do not want to risk having to deal with them in the event of an issue or problem. To further underline this, they are refusing to even provide me with the customs invoice, that I need to claim back the tax from the government on it. Even the customs government department could not believe how badly FedEx was behaving.

I called the automated FedEx line and it stated that my package was delivered already and left at the front door. I searched and searched. No package in sight! I immediately started crying. I called FedEx customer service and they gave me a case number and said that the truck driver would be by my house to see if it was the same house he delivered it to. I was asked what color my house was, etc. I was promised that a manager would call to investigate more.

I had been crying throughout my call with customer service. My daughter comes home to me crying hysterical, wondering what happened. Finally she saw our neighborhood mailman and asked if he saw a package on our front stairs and he said, "No." Then she asked if he saw a FedEx truck in the area today and he said, "Yes, on Mascot St." My daughter walked around to the next neighborhood at 66 Mascot and found the FedEx package on the front porch. FedEx never delivered a Christmas present (a hand knitted blanket) for my son and his family last year. Your FedEx ground delivery person admitted that he did not recognize their home as the address he delivered the package. My daughter-in-law said when he made that statement his supervisor could be heard yelling at him over the phone. After that visit FedEx changed their story saying that the box WAS delivered to the correct address as promised. We all know the blanket was never delivered. My son’s wife stays at home all day caring for her three children. They have two dogs that bark if anyone approaches. She is sure that no package was delivered. The blanket cannot be reordered because every stitch was hand knitted to become a king size comforter (8.5 x 8). It took me four months knitting every day for me to complete. My arthritis keeps me from making another. It was to be a keepsake for my son's family.

I realize FedEx is trying to cut corners but to not bother delivering packages to the proper address is really hitting bottom. Your company reiterated “reorder the item” like that has become the standard slogan for the way FedEx now does things. But, as in my case, what if you cannot reorder. Consumers should be warned not to trust FedEx with their irreplaceable items. I thought about taking this matter up with the small claims court but just don’t have the energy. FedEx should know, however, that their business practices do cause harm.

He then told the FedEx person that he needed to have it shipped Ground and that the slip needed to be changed. The FedEx person said, "no problem, I will change it before I send it out."

My brother took his word for it but it was shipped out as 2 day and I received a very hefty charge. After telling my brother that this is what happened, he went back to FedEx and asked what the problem was. FedEx said that he forgot. He further told my brother to tell me to call FedEx and ask for a refund and then to call his store and he would charge me via Pack and Ship. That did not sound right to me but I called. When I moved to my current address about two years ago, I ensured that the drivers had the gate code since my place is a gated community. I called the main office at FedEx and complained about this issue with a solution, I gave them the gate code. I was told by the FedEx representative that the delivery trucks would have the gate code in record. Don't know what this meant but, seems like I told them not to deliver items at this household!

Just yesterday 28 August 2015, I had an item to be delivered by FedEx. Was I worried as always that my items wouldn't be delivered to my doorstep. I was home all day and constantly checking the FedEx shipment tracking online. I did not want to miss the shipment, so I check it again and to find out at 12:52 pm it states on FedEx website shipment tracking "Delivery exception, Customer not available or business closed" REALLY!!! I WAS HOME ALL DAY WAITING!!!

So I immediately called FedEx to schedule a pick up at the store that same day (Remember this was an automated voice recording that I was talking to over the phone). When I walked into the store around 6:00 pm, I told the young lady that I was there to pick up a delivery that I had scheduled to pick up today. She claimed that it takes a day to get the delivery checked in their records. I was PISSED!!! I told her this is not true, "Every time I've rescheduled a pickup at a different store, my items was there and ready for me to pick up!" The young lady asked me, "They didn't tell you that it take about a day?" There is either lazy personnel or incompetence this needs to be rectified. I pay for a delivery service and end up going out of my way to pick up a delivery at the FedEx store. It's Saturday 8:84 am and going to FedEx now to see if my item is there and ready to be delivered.

I will never use FedEx again. Not necessarily for the staff working there, but for the shoddy online system they have to ship a package. I thought it would be easy to ship one 18x18x16 box full of my things home after moving across the country. I made an account online and started the shipping process of creating a shipment online. Right from the get go the system was horrible. If I filled out something wrong on the shipping page, it highlighted in red and I had to attend to it. The only problem was it set all the other sections of the shipping page (time for pick up, box size, box weight) to the default, and for some reason took the city and province away from my shipping address. Not a problem, filled everything in and double checked before hitting submit so I wouldn't be left with any red areas. I then got a shipping sheet to attach to my package.

The only problem was I did not have a printer attached to the computer I was on so I would have to print it later on a different computer. When I called customer service they told me I could not email or save the shipping sheet in any way. After clicking around the website for a while they also told me that I had to be on the shipping sheet page to have access to my receipt, and once I left the page the receipt was gone. They had told me to leave the page BEFORE letting me know I would lose my receipt. What a horrible system. Why can't I e-mail myself the shipping sheet and receipt? Sketchy. After that I was unable to find an area of the website that told me when my pickup would be. When I called back customer service I was told that my account "wasn't available" so they could not see my information. They also worried me because since they couldn't see my account they believed I didn't have one.

Keep in mind I needed my package picked up the next day because I was leaving the province a few hours after pickup, forever. I asked them what to do. I supposedly didn't have an account, and I couldn't create a package shipping page the day of pickup. I got the answer "I’m sorry, there's nothing we can do." I repeatedly got the response "I’m sorry." Do you know how vulnerable I felt when the supposed experts on the phone just gave up? I went to bed angry and very stressed out. The following day (the day of supposed pickup) I called customer service again, hopefully to get someone else that did not leave feeling so horrible. I received better service in the morning, but again, the woman on the line could not access my account, and therefore could not verify all the information (shipping time, shipping sheet, etc.) that I was seeing on my end of the screen.

She also told me that FedEx pickup drivers could not call the individual (me) upon arrival. Um... that is the only way I could let the driver into my building. That is the only way ANYONE could get into my building. The driver was set to pick up between 9 am-12 pm. I was not waiting in my lobby for 3 hours for him. I was then told that my pickup time was changed to 9 am-6 pm (Though they could not see my account? How does that make sense?). But at the time I just wanted my package out of my hands, and I was not going to wait in my lobby that whole time. I decided at this point to call up a friend and get her to bring my package into a FedEx store. I wasn't going to risk it. But I also inconvenienced her for something that should have been so simple. Once in the store, there were 3 people in line and one person working.

I waited 20 minutes before literally handing her my package and sheet, getting an ok it's good to go with the shipping sheet and walking out. What a waste of my time. I asked the person working at the store about my "nonexistent" account, and she rudely replied that she had no idea. She just takes the package and the shipping page and that's it. It was my responsibility to make sure the package was legit. Not the company that was shipping it. Hmmm. If you don't read the long winded rant/vent above, please read this last section.

All I wanted when I called in the first time for help was someone to walk me through the process, possibly helping me create a new account and entering the details in the shipping page for me. What I got was individuals who didn't care, and basically had no answers for my "nonexistent account" and information, and left it at that. Something so simple, took me 6 phone calls and 2 days to figure out. What a shoddy online system, and literally at the worst time possible where I was already stressed enough with the move. I will not be using them again.

I wrote a similar review on UPS, sad to say FedEx is no better. I always ask for notifications and add instructions since I am disabled. They ignore them and since I reported it they now claim I am not home when I am. This has happened 3 times recently. My bells work, they either don't bother or are ringing the wrong bell - my apartment number and floor are written on all packages and they have it too.

I called again today and all I get is "I am sorry and this will be corrected." Well it hasn't. I have to wait until tomorrow to get my delivery, and I was home for today waiting. Each time I speak to a supervisor, they take my info, but nothing seems to be corrected. I may be disabled of body but not mind. If this is happening to me how many others are going through the same thing? I used to write, please ring bell, give me time to answer and hand me the package adding a thank you. Now I write, I am disabled please ring my bell, give me time etc, etc. All I am asking is for them to do the job they are paid to do, nothing more. Customer service no longer exists.

Federal Express Corporation Did Not Deliver My Package To Me Properly... I had a blackberry to be delivered to me coming from Canada and Yes, a signature was required, however, it was supposed to be my signature and I did Not know that anybody could sign for it. Sadly, somebody else signed it in which I was Not aware of and never received the Blackberry.

Yes, I did contact Federal Express's Corporate Office to find out what to do and/or to see if they could go through their insurance to give me some kind of reimbursement and that Served No Purpose since they were Unwilling To Take Care Of My Loss. Furthermore, I did sue them in small claims court and lost because their representative stated that there were supposedly three ways that my item could be delivered to ME and once again, I never received my blackberry.

In any case, this damn corporation obviously does NOT care about their customers since I am still without my Blackberry and whoever it got delivered to certainly was NOT me! I am therefore not totally happy with Federal Express's Policy, nor how they did NOT take care of me as their Customer!

When I start worrying something is wrong, I search for it to be told it was left on my doorstep on the 6th and it is now the 19th. It was never left on my door step. Talked to Customer Service and told I would get call back in 2 hours. Not called back until next day, was told I was informed wrong, they would call back next day. I guess I was told wrong again, but it has been 3 days since I heard from them. Will stick with UPS. UPS delivers my packages all the time and I get them, not run around like FedEx. Still waiting to hear about package, but I guess it was my fault because it didn't have to be signed. I was never told that by UPS.

On Aug 20th, I spent another day waiting for it, but it delayed due to traffic again. Oh by the way, the FedEx facility that my guitar is at only takes me 20 mins driving to get there, but it is taking more than three days to come to me after it arrived at there.

Today, I thought I would get my stuff. I woke up in the morning to wait for my guitar while I was reading complaints about FedEx on Google. About 11:30 AM, I refreshed the tracking page again and it said there was wildfires and attempt would be made on Aug 22nd. I filed a complaint on the FedEx website, then I got told attempt was made today but NO ONE WAS HOME. I was like seriously? Today I dropped a package and was told that the label was too big and could not accept it... was able to locate another FedEx location and they had no problem accepting it.

I believe is their weight that keeps from doing any work in there, they are all approximately about 500 lbs each, if they do not like to work they should just hire people that are willing to work... this place should shut down... absolutely a disgrace in customer service as we are the ones that keep them working by our business with FedEx. I didn't hear the door bell at any time nor did I hear a knock on the door. I do not believe any sort of attempt was made and at best, poor effort.

I called Fed Ex customer service around 9:40 a.m. to see if they could get the driver to turn around. She (Customer Service rep) stated that she called the local branch to have the driver paged. She advised that the branch will call me back when they can confirm whether or not the driver could come back. I asked when I can expect a call and from who. Why would it sit in one hub for 3 days? Your guess is as good as mine but Federal Express is useless and if I could ask companies not to use it, if I had a choice between Federal Express in the United States Postal Service, I would take USPS any day. Very disappointed with my service from Federal Express and had I known it was going to take longer than was expected, I would have paid the extra dollars to have it delivered sooner. I ordered a pool cleaner through Amazon on Sunday 8/9 with 2-day shipping, and should have received my package on Tuesday 8/11. Sure enough around 1:30 I get an email stating that my package was delivered and left on my front porch. Very excited to check out my new 'toy', I got home from work around 5:30 to find that - surprise! - there's no package. I checked with family members, who had been home all day, and confirmed there was no delivery. I thought maybe it was left on a neighbor's porch instead, so I went and looked on porches in the area and knocked on a few doors. No one around had received the package. I called FedEx customer support shortly thereafter to report the missing item, and was told that a case was opened and that I would receive a call back the next day (Wednesday).

Of course this call never came so I called again Wednesday evening after getting home from work. This CSR told me that the previous CSR had opened the wrong kind of case and he was correcting it - and again I would be called the next day. Thursday came and went and nothing. Called again Thursday night, and then was told that they needed to contact dispatch, and that dispatch would call within 2 hours. Dispatch actually did call within the 2 hours - the only promise that was kept - and told me that they were investigating with the driver, to allow 48 hours, and that I would receive a follow-up call on Saturday. I doubted they would call on a Saturday but figured maybe it was possible. The weekend came and went and no call.

I then received a follow-up call on Monday around 1:30 stating that the driver had just delivered the package and to contact the shipper if I had any further issues. Unfortunately I couldn't take the call at the time and this was left on a voice mail. Somehow, supposedly, the driver had magically found and delivered the missing package. Upon getting home Monday night there was, of course, no package to be found. I again called FedEx support and told them that I still had not received anything. The CSR went through the same initial set of questions that I had been asked a week prior and promised a 2-hour follow-up call from dispatch. Another call that never came.

After getting home on Tuesday I called them yet again and was told that the investigation case was closed since the driver had delivered the package, and that I would need to contact Amazon from there on. No one ever offered any explanation as to what happened to the package, how it was suddenly found on Monday - almost a week later - or any suggestion as to how they would fix this issue. All I got from this experience with FedEx was a lot of promises not kept, ineptitude, and an overall attitude that I was basically bothering them with this investigation.

After this I did contact Amazon and the issue was resolved in about 15 minutes time. The Amazon CSR listened to my complaint, apologized profusely for FedEx's lack of response, and promptly reordered the item for me at no charge. She also stressed that I should call them (Amazon) directly any time I had an issue with a package not being delivered. This was, for me, the first time I had to deal with this and I was none the wiser as to what to do. If there is a next time I will certainly go straight to Amazon. Kudos to them and their efficient and painless resolution.

I'm sure Amazon has insurance that will pay for these kinds of mistakes, but it seems a shame that they need to replace items due to the utter lack of quality control and accountability from FedEx. What irks me most of all is that, in FedEx's system, there is no way to reach the dispatch team directly, and they and the drivers hide behind this fact. I suspect the driver that supposedly delivered my package has already listed the pool cleaner on eBay. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for the next person that is subjected to dealing with FedEx customer service. And hopefully UPS is delivering the replacement package that is en route!

I was home the morning of 08/15, expecting the delivery of a package shipped overnight. I receive a text alert saying a delivery attempt was made. No one rung my bell, knocked on my door, or left a door tag. They lied. I called The FedEx phone number to get an explanation of what happened. The representative had to answer, but said they would send a message contacting the driver to get him to come back. I provided my cell and home phone numbers, as well as confirmed that the bell downstairs was working. I get a call from someone at the Bronx facility and he said the driver will be back before the end of the day. I explain that it is VERY important that the package gets delivered on that day by 2 pm. About 45 minutes later, I get another alert of an attempted delivery. Once again, no contact in any form was made.

I call FedEx again to clarify what could have happened this time. The representative told me that the delivery person said one elevator was working and the other would not move. I still don't understand why I wasn't contacted to come downstairs. I could have figured out how to get the package back up, or declined. But, it ultimately would have been my choice. Once I explain this to the representative (who clearly is operating from a call center overseas), he replies that the delivery person came twice... and I can pick up my package from the facility (in the Bronx) after 3 pm. I live in Harlem. So after much frustration and thought, I put in a request to have the package sent to my local FedEx store, so I could rush out and pick it up. My request was never confirmed. Fast forward to Monday, and all of a sudden I get an alert saying the package is headed to the store. Why? It makes no sense now.

I call FedEx AGAIN and ask them to have the package sent to my apartment. I explain the reason for me wanting it sent to the store, on Saturday, for me to run out and get it. The customer advocate department representative I spoke with kindly place me on hold and contacted the Bronx facility. She said it should be delivered at home. She also jotted down my ordeal and put in a complaint/investigation for me. I keep tracking the progress on the package, and suddenly I see that it was delivered to the store. How and why? Have you not tortured me enough with poor customer service and idiotic decision making? So I now have to rush home after work to pick up this package.

I am appalled, disappointed, and surprised by the way this situation unfolded. Due to the laziness and inability to think critically as a representative of FedEx. I am the one paying for this person's decision to not do their job. If someone cannot or will not complete a simple task as making valid attempts to get in touch with a customer so they can get their package they SHOULD NOT be employed in a position it with it is their responsibility to do so. This infuriates me at the deepest level.

This has happened multiple times and results in my package arriving way later or myself going to pick up the package. I pay for shipping and I just want my package to be delivered in a timely manner. I contacted customer service and asked to be reimbursed for the shipping costs because their drivers cannot deliver packages properly.

I may be reimbursed for the shipping costs, but I highly doubt it. I followed up to see if the package could be delivered on Monday, 17 August 2015 and I was informed that FedEx only delivers to residences or homes Tuesday-Saturday. This is not true as in the past I have received FedEx packages on a Monday and I see FedEx vehicles in my area on Mondays. I have a fedex shipping account for my business. I had to overnight a package to a client so I went to my local fedex office to do so. I hand over the package, it is weighed and measured. To overnight $480.00. I collect my package and walk out. As a small businessman completely unaffordable!

I contact my client and inform them that there is no way I can fedex the package and that I will need to find a cheaper way. The client asks me to go back to fedex and use their account number instead of mine. So I do that. I get back to fedex, I hand over the package and then weigh and measure it. The clerk then says to me "well this account is much better than yours" I say "really". He shows me the screen, $48.00! For the same distance overnight! I have to tell you I am disgusted. That is 1000% more that I am paying!! I don't care if he uses his account more than mine. Why should I (the small business man) supplement the rich man's expenses! I think this is a clear indication of what is wrong with this country at the moment. The wealthy receiving all the benefits and the not so wealthy getting Screwed over! I can understand a discount for using your facility more frequently, but 1000% is completely unacceptable.

I will not be doing business with FedEx anymore, On principal! Your business model is WRONG. Corporate America abusing the system. I would not have known how badly if I was not able to compare my account with theirs. I would imagine most of your customers completely unaware! The straw that broke the camel's back: The package arrived on time but it was damaged! The contents - a "marine inflatable" wrapped in bubble wrap and then boxed! The box torn, the inflatable punctured! $500 value! Now I have to file a claim. Wasted time I simply do not have to spare.

Just because it's not important to them doesn't mean it's not important to anyone else and to pick up my package is just telling me to pay for transportation to get it. Well, today, Wednesday, August 12, I received a call from FedEx and they claim they spoke with the driver and he stated he delivered a package but could not confirm if it was my mattress! Really? Companies should refuse to use FedEx for deliveries. Hope to never use FedEx again.

I had someone purchase a triplet stroller and 3 toddler seats from me. I had no idea how to ship these items due to their size and awkward shape. So I decided to bring it to a Fedex shipping center. The manager of the store took measurements and then called an employee on his cell phone to bring him a different size box. He explained that the toddler seats would have to ship in their own box and that the stroller would have it's own box. The manager proceeded to box the seats and the employee still had not shown up with the other box. They took measurements several times. He said to make sure everything would fit.

After a significant amount of time the box still had not arrived so the manager decided to check me out. He said he would box and ship everything once the other box arrived. I was not in a hurry, it was his decision to check me out. He gave me a price (nearly $200). I swiped my debit card and left the store feeling like the transaction was complete. I was obviously wrong. The following week an additional $110 was charged to my card. When I called asking about the charge the manager told me the stroller didn't fit in the box that he anticipated so he had to use a bigger box, thus increasing the shipping cost. I never authorized my card to be charged an additional time and I disagree with the way this business was done. I am very disappointed with my Fedex experience and will likely not use their services again.

World Music Supply shipped an expensive limited edition Fender guitar by FedEx Ground. I received an update on my tracking search that it had been delivered 30-45 minutes earlier and left on our porch. After searching everywhere it could have been left and checking with all nearby neighbors, we concluded that the driver never delivered the package but drove by to cover his theft with GPS positioning tracking. His supervisor says it is the driver's word against ours and they won't even send an investigator to our house. This would easily disprove the driver's lies. FedEx driver's can get away with anything they want to steal and the company won't do anything about it! We can prove that we were home and we can prove that the driver didn't even enter our property. FedEx's solution was to send the driver out to lie to our faces but refused to send an investigator to confirm their driver's theft and subsequent lies.

Updated on 08/13/2015: FedEx Ground security called today to let me know that they had completed their investigation of my claim. Their conclusion, without interviewing me or visiting my house to see how preposterous the driver's lies were, was that they didn't know where my package was but their driver says he delivered it. Claim denied. End of story. Conclusion: If you ship with FedEx Ground without a required signature on delivery, your valuable package will disappear with no accountability for the driver. All he has to do is drive by your residence and his GPS tracking device will "prove" that he made the delivery. You could be sitting on your front porch waiting for your package to be delivered and that is not enough for FedEx if the driver says he delivered it and it is missing. Boycott these thieves!

Too many bugs in the system: I was expecting a delivery from a different department. Tracking info showed it was going from Dallas to Tucson, but did not show the full address. After it was sitting in Tempe for a long time, I called and found out the ZIP code was incorrect. How am I supposed to realize that if you don't show the shipping address? How come the tracking info realized that the package was going to Tucson, but instead they sent it to Tempe? Then the office in Tempe was sitting on it without taking any action? Too many bugs/mistakes:

They need to show address info in tracking system, at least Zip code/city. If they send the package to one city it should show the same city on the tracking info. Don't track to Tucson and send to Tempe! Hire a real programmer and cross check the addresses automatically. If no match, immediately take action. When I went to contact them via their email form, it did not appear to send it. Hitting the send button did not do anything. No error message either. I tried IE, Firefox and Chrome and double checked all fields were filled out. They need to have their web page fixed.

I purchased a TV through Amazon, paid for next day air. Package arrived at Memphis and then disappeared. This is the second time I've had a package mysteriously go missing once it hit Memphis. I called the day it was late and instantly knew the package was gone forever because I heard the same line as when I called about the other package. Here is a summary of what I've been told in the 5 days of following up: Plane was rerouted due to weather causing the delay (not true), package sent to Phoenix by mistake (not true), package is in Memphis still, a team of people are looking for your package, the package will be sent to our lost and found to be claimed, and, we have no updates since arriving in Memphis.

I've been told on three different occasions someone would call me back and it has never happened. The fourth time they told me someone would call I laughed. After explaining why I found that humorous, I was transferred to a "Customer Advocate" that didn't know anything but was willing to hear me complain. The suggestion I was given, just like last time, was to call Amazon and have them ship it again. It's a good thing Amazon is so great with these kinds of things. I know they will make it right, but my problem is that FedEx gets away without consequence again. They take no responsibility in losing/stealing packages because the shipper will make it right.

The pharmacy sent the mess overnight, which, ready for this, I know it is shocking, but FedEx offers a service they absolutely cannot do - deliver in their said time frame. So due to their complete lack of regard for their customer, humanity, or even upholding the service they promise, you just get a headache, ton of hassle, and then a customer service rep who basically says, "sorry, who care, I guess you can pick it up at a facility tomorrow."

I have never had such an amazingly horrific experience with such a large company, one which could care less that these were medications I needed, not ten days for now, but overnight, which is why we paid over 100.00 to have them sent that way. Terrible company that I wish would go out of business, or maybe at least have their top execs suffer some medical mishap due to their inability to do what they say they can do, even when deemed a medical emergency. After about 2 weeks FedEx tells me they lost the package and are only liable to give me $100 even though I provided proof the contents were well over $1000. A short time after I filed the claim I see that FedEx had not lost my package as they told me they had but sent it to Amazon (which just happens to be where I purchased the items from). Amazon gave me a refund for all the items (proving they received the box) expect for the most expensive item, the $981 Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Even though FedEx clearly hadn't lost the package but sent it to the wrong address they refuse to take responsibility and say they do not know how our package got to the Amazon warehouse. Packages just don't deliver themselves yet FedEx doesn't have any tracking for our box getting sent anywhere even though they supposedly conducted "a thorough investigation" and thinks it's acceptable for us to be out $981 while somebody else has our Surface Pro.

He told me he would help me if I help him up. After a couple of seconds of attempting to help him, he put the package down and told me to open up the box and then it will be lighter. He then ran out the door. As I was attempting to get it up myself, a piece snapped off. I first called FedEx about this and they advised me to call Amazon. Amazon is of course replacing the item but now I am stuck in today waiting for UPS to pick the item up to return to Amazon. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Avoid if possible!!! I ordered an incredibly important book for my masters degree a week before class started and now, a month later, I still don't have it. When the package didn't arrive when I expected it to, I tracked it online only to find that it was already here in Edmonton but that FedEx couldn't find my address. I found this strange as I had also ordered several other books from many different sources and they had all easily found my place on time... if not early. My address is VERY straightforward. I call customer service so I can pick it up. I'm refused.

The customer service rep was incredibly rude and abrupt. I'm told that I can only fill out a claim form. I explain that I don't care about that and that I don't want to complain. All I want is to pick up the book. Again, I'm refused. I fill out the claim report and their grand resolution was to SEND THE BOOK BACK! I call AGAIN to find out what on earth happened and why I was made to fill out a claim only to be ignored. I'm assured that a manager will call me in 24 hours.

Several days later NO ONE has called me so I call yet AGAIN. The customer service rep was INCREDIBLY RUDE. I told the story again and explained that I just needed answers as I was charged for the package a month ago and needed to get this settled. The rep asked me not to think of her as a liar. I started laughing and tried to explain that of course I didn't think that and that I wasn't blaming her or anything like that. I simply wanted to get this resolved. Before I could finish she actually moved the phone a bit away and then screamed "UGHHHH CAN YOU JUST LET ME TALK! JESUS!!!" I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do. After a few moments I managed to pick my jaw off the floor and hang up. First time EVER that I've hung up on a rep. Incompetent delivery, complete lack of organization and hands down, the worst customer service I've ever received.

But I was wrong and after 3 failed attempts to deliver they returned the shipment to the shipper. The original shipment was originated in Shanghai, so I hope they really have got the item back there.

Anyhow, when I contacted them to find out why this has happened, instead of admitting that someone has screwed up they just kept telling me "contact your shipper"; well I do not need an incompetent FedEx agent to tell me that, I know that I should contact the shipper and request that they arrange redelivery hopefully through another company. FedEx tracking informed me via email that my package had been delivered. Tracking was updated to reflect package was left at my door. I was home, anxiously and obsessively awaiting delivery and never heard anyone come to the door. I offer a suggestion: make an attempt to communicate to persons inside the house that someone on the outside of the house has traveled here for any number of potential but certainly not delivery-related reasons.

Regardless of the lesson I've learned regarding your practices, maybe some good can come of losing any potential business from me or any merchant who cannot offer alternative shipping options. I don't believe the FedEx assertion that my package was delivered. It will always be my word against FedEx and for whatever reasons, I'll lose. Here's a story from this week where the exact same assertion was made but in this case, camera evidence irrefutably disproved that: **. The tracking scan process is clearly not definitive and it leads me to believe not only is it possible to have inconsistent (FALSE) standards, but could easily be common practice. Like many facets of modern life, technology is shedding light on the mysteries that are otherwise just tall tales and fantasy.

Time for surveillance equipment because a simple search reveals a pattern of disregard and zero liability for driver error, once they've marked your package delivered they are free of any responsibility. How can you deliver to the wrong address and refuse to correct the error as others have experienced, as a business practice? Because of this, I think you should at the very least leave a note to physically prove you were there. I believe it would be strong evidence for the driver that delivery was made and theft was instead to blame. I doubt drivers would have time to leave a printed note as a cursory internet search seems to suggest FedEx is a horrible employer with questionable working conditions and the very bare minimum for non-corporate "customers".

At times I have personal items delivered to my place of employment to avoid worrying about it sitting on my porch at home all day. I recently order such an item to have delivered to the store. I still had not received it late into the afternoon so I checked the tracking number and it showed that the item had been delivered and signed for by someone at the store. I had no one in the store by the last name that showed on the receipt. I called FedEx and dealt with their terrible voice automated system. Finally when I reached someone I was told that they had no idea where my package was and that they would have to get back to me. Still being at work I can't drop everything to answer the call.

I missed the call which of course comes from an unavailable number that I was not able to call back. I called customer service once again. Was told that I would have to wait for another call. Finally after another missed call and another call into customer service I was finally able to speak to someone. When speaking with the lady at the station she stated that she found my package and it was at another store that I could go to ON MY OWN and pick it up. Otherwise she would arrange for pick up on the next day. I paid for two day shipping on my item which meant I should have had it two days before it was sent to the wrong address and now I have to wait another day. I expressed my concerns and the lady laughed at me! Never before have I ever been treated so awfully. I will never do business with them again.

They knock once on the door, drop the package, and walk away without checking to see if anyone is home. We had a driver tell us that is not how it is supposed to be done but at least we are made aware that there is something on our porch. We were waiting on a TV to be delivered because the first time it was damaged during transit. I opened the door to walk our dog and found a giant package leaning against our door frame. We never heard a knock and our dog didn't bark which he always does. I specifically put a sign on my front door that says if we are not home please leave all packages in the office. I wrote this because I have had packages stolen off my porch before.

This is an expensive TV and I am shocked they didn't require a signature or that they didn't bother knocking. This is not the first time this has happened and I am sure it won't be the last. After checking the FedEx policy for delivery, the drivers aren't responsible for anything. I have had stuff say it was delivered and I know for a fact it wasn't. When expecting a package I make sure I am home and that I look out into the parking lot frequently. I do this because we have had so many problems. I wish we were able to choose which company delivered our packages because I would make sure not to select FedEx. I am fed up with their lack of consideration when handling other people's items.

Because of the incompetence of FedEx I have been living a nightmare for the past month and it seems to keep getting worse. After investigating the whereabouts of my package for the past few weeks, and with much effort on my part, the situation was escalated to FedEx's executive offices, my package was not found. It is I am at loss of two months work, costing 4,500.00 dollars, and sales of upwards of over 10,000.00.

The package has been missing ever since one FedEx's employees caused my package to be untraceable. What is the point of shipping with FedEx if the package is not traceable? How this can happen is outrageous; the gross incompetence of FedEx agent(s) is disturbing and upsetting. I cannot understand why my package was relabeled and not cross referenced with the old tracking number, which was registered into their system! Why didn't their agent do his job properly? Doesn't FedEx train their employees? FedEx telling me that the package could "show up, an honest person returning it to FedEx, after receiving it mistakenly" does not reassure me, nor does it demonstrate confidence in FedEx's services.

Although FedEx has admitted fault, the mistake of not cross referencing the new label to the old label (as they should have), is not excusable, and "sorry" is not good enough; this does not fix the problem caused by the incompetence of FedEx. This mistake has ruined my vacation (a rare occurrence), caused GREAT distress - making me on the verge of tears from anger, and may complicate future plans.

This mistake due to the lack of proper training of FedEx employees will have great consequences and could potentially compromise the medical treatment I am embarking on; stress is a poison and FedEx has caused me undue, restless stress for the past month and the upcoming several weeks. The package lost by FedEx contained an order that took eight weeks to make. I scheduled my medical treatment for after my orders were complete and finished. Because of FedEx's mistake I will have to remake the order for the next few weeks, which may compromise my medical treatment - this is a problem!

Hope ** of the claims department has offered me her executive offer of $1,000.00 for reimbursement for FedEx's admitted fault in the loss of my package. This compensation is insulting and unfair. Why should I have to shoulder the responsibility of remaking the order and paying for the cost of a 10,000.00 mistake made by FedEx? According to Ms. **, this is what she claims is fair! $4500,00 is just the cost of making the order, the out of pocket value to date is 10,000.00; FedEx offering me 1000.00 is outrageous! This was FedEx's admitted mistake. Why should I have to shoulder the entire responsibility of replacing the goods? FedEx has poorly and neglectfully, created a new label, and not crossed referenced the new label to the old label and it's old tracking number, therefore making the package untraceable.

This mistake is FedEx's fault and the poor training done by FedEx. Why should I suffer a loss of over 10,000.00, redo two months work by having to remake the order, and compromise my well planned IVF treatment, which was scheduled months in advance? I do not think I should have to suffer FedEx's mistake alone. Why is FedEx admitting to poor service and "hoping to regain my confidence" but do not wanting to reimburse me for their loss, which would be the fair and honorable thing to do?

FedEx has owned up to their mistake by a meager apology and 1,000.00; I would like full reimbursement for good lost and loss of sales to date. Why should I have to pay for the replacement of goods caused by FedEx's mistake; FedEx admitting fault does nothing for me when I have to redo two months work, suffer a loss of over 10,000.00, and compromise my well planned IVF treatment, which was scheduled months in advance! I do not think I should have to suffer FedEx's mistake, which they have admitted to...

All this could have been avoided, if FedEx's agent was properly trained; I cannot understand why the label I created, that was logged into FedEx's system was not cross referenced to the new label created by FedEx. This error has and will have a tremendous consequence on my life for the next couple of months. This "mistake" made by FedEx must be properly dealt with. I deserve reimbursement for all the loss, grief and unrest FedEx has caused. If this matter is not dealt with fairly. I deserve a fair reimbursement for all the loss, headache, stress and unrest FedEx has caused me. I am a small business owner and have dealt with lost packages before, but never in the past 20 years have I dealt with such improper training.

I'm asking that someone please talk to this FedEx driver that continues to cut traffic off! It's a fat, chubby, black guy with dreads! Maryland tag **. This happens around 1:09 pm during the week day. He makes a left on sixth and K street NW. He almost caused an accident with the metrobus I was driving turning in front of me, and forcing people out of the cross walk. This is not the first time he has done this. Please update me on this matter. Thanks a lot.

Fed Express said they tried 3 times to deliver a package that needed signature. I was home for 2 of those 3 dates and no one came. Did not leave a delivery tag as UPS does. Refused to schedule a delivery to home or to the Fedex office nearby. Had to drive over an hour to pick up package - I would have gone to my local store had I know that delivery with Fedex means you have to go to them. Tried calling their 800 number several times and NO ONE answers. Very very poor customer service. They used to be a highly reputable business. What happened?

My first experience with FedEx was about three months ago. A package was mailed from a company. I tracked it daily. To my knowledge, there was never an attempt at delivery. There was always someone home, and the 2 supers also sign. (Note: My UPS packages ALWAYS arrived before delivery date or on delivery date.) FedEx said they attempted delivery twice, even though they left no attempted delivery slip. I worked with the shipper and FedEx for three days. They only lied and aggravated me. I eventually picked it up at their facility.

I am now waiting since Monday for a FedEx delivery, which has been sitting in my location since Monday. This package was mailed as a replacement for a package which FedEx claimed to have attempted to deliver once, and promptly shipped it back to its origins. (There was always someone here, plus two supers. Also, they posted no slip to support their allegation.)

Four different people from the shipping company have been working with FedEx on my behalf, since yesterday; who were all told that I would receive the package yesterday. Since Tuesday, FedEx has not updated their tracking, but even this morning FedEx told shipper that I would have package by midday, and that they would update tracking page, which they have not done. It's after 1:00 p.m. and I am still waiting. The people who are answering the phone are uncaring, unhelpful, inefficient, unreliable, and what appalls me, VERY DISHONEST. What can be done about this company? Please, someone, protect the consumer.

This has happened multiple times. A package being lost in Memphis and you are assigned to customer care but never receive word if package is found. They must have a lost package department where pkgs are not matched up to FedEx tracking number. Why won't someone call you or you send in contents descriptions so when opened the contents can get to the right people.

Last week I was expecting a package, a package I paid $18 shipping to receive in 3 days. I checked to see the status of my order and it said, "delivered to your front door on July, 10th at 11:07 am." Well there is no package at my door! So I call my neighbors and no package at their doors! Finally I call FedEx, and they "investigate" and find that the driver could not find my home, so took my package 3 houses down from me to whom we do not get along with! Needless to say, he may as well burned the package! Well I talked with FedEx and the company I ordered from and everyone was so nice to help and actually got another package shipped to me overnight.

So as soon as I get my tracking number I called FedEx to give the driver my number to call when he was close and the lady I talked to was so rude and interrupted me. Finally she asked for directions, so I asked which way he was coming from, and her response was, "No Idea." I tried telling her directions, and I hear her sigh, so I said "never mind, you better just hope my package comes today!" If you're going to be rude at your job, quit, stop being ugly to the people that are trying to support your job and feed you!!!

I took a small package to our local FedEx location to have delivered to Chicago on the morning of 7/14/15. It had to be there before noon. I chose the Priority Overnight option. The tracking site told me that the package was on a truck in Indianapolis at 7:14 am and there were no updates. A phone call to customer service told me that due to a "violent thunderstorm" the plane couldn't land in Indianapolis. My package won't be delivered until 7/15/15. There's no refund due to the weather delay. This is at least the third time that this has happened to me within the last 12 months. In the winter, snow is a constant problem for FedEx and in the other seasons it's always terrible weather that seems to strike FedEx.

Why is my package going to Indianapolis? Aren't there enough packages going to Chicago so that deliveries are sent directly to Chicago? Time for FedEx to stop being cheap. Their delivery prices aren't inexpensive, in fact their prices have risen considerably and their service has drastically declined. I guess I have to trust the post office or deliver packages myself. You can't count on FedEx. My business depends on prompt delivery. I can't tell clients that they have to be patient with FedEx and expect problems.

I also live in an apartment and I asked my neighbors if they had seen the FedEx truck deliver a package to me and they said they didn't! I tried calling their customer service, was on the phone for almost an hr and I couldn't get through to anyone! I had to call the company I ordered my crib from and explain the situation. My father recently lost internet, so he couldn't order anything online. He needed to buy some replacement shaving foil heads and asked me to do it for him. The ordering process wasn't a problem. The shipment was the very next day. The problem was FedEx. The Tuesday or Wednesday after the 4th of July the package was supposed to be delivered. I got a call from the delivery guy saying he could find the mailbox, but couldn't find the house. That part was certainly understandable as my dad's house isn't all that big and there's trees obstructing the view from the road. Also the house is across the street from the mailbox. (That isn't too unusual in Michigan.) He said he could leave it with a neighbor or at the end of the driveway. I said no to both options as I wasn't too sure about how my dad would feel about it. I told him he could leave it at the porch. Now this is where we started having issues.

The driver said his truck couldn't fit under the overhang from the trees. (My dad lets the trees grow pretty wild.) I told the driver he could just get out of the truck and walk up the driveway. It's not that long of a walk and once you get to the end you can see the house right there. Well, this driver is either really scared of nature or is just plain lazy as the package wasn't delivered that day; he said "Well let's just see what happens" when I told him where he could leave the package. I called my dad later that day, relayed what happened, and asked he'd prefer; he said leave it on the porch or at the end of the driveway.

A day or so later I get a call from the delivery guy about the package again. I told him what my dad told me. He could leave it at the end of the driveway or at the house; either was fine with my dad. Again, we have this same issue as mentioned above. I gave him explicit directions again; his response hadn't changed. I call my father later that day to see if he got it. He still hadn't gotten it. He checked the mailbox, the driveway, and the porch; nothing there. He lets me call the folks from FedEx to see what the heck is going on. The guy on the phone (different person from the driver) says the driver was having issues. He presented me with two options: Pick it up from a facility or wait for it to be delivered again the following Monday. By this point I'm fed up with the delivery guy so I say we'll pick it up the next day, Saturday. He gives us the address. I call Dad back and tell him the address and whatnot; he's cool for picking it up the next day.

The next day arrives and he and I hang out for a few hours before going to the place. After a couple of hours of technical difficulties and issues with construction on the roads, we pull out his GPS and make our way there. We get down the road, which looks fairly empty. The street was littered with mostly empty warehouses. The GPS tells us that we are passing it up several times as we go back and forth. Finally we make a turn into what looks like an empty lot; the GPS responds that we've arrived. However, we didn't see a FedEx place. What we pulled into was an abandoned power station and warehouse!!! There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how angry we were. The closest would be livid.

As we pull out my dad says call them and have them change the address to mine because at least the driver can't say he can't find the place. (They've delivered to my place once before.) The representative on the phone tells us the only person with the power to do that is the party that originally shipped the package. Makes sense, but doesn't ease our frustration one bit. As we're driving around trying to get to the highway we find the place where we were told that the package would be at. We try to get in only told be told that they were closed. On a Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon.

At this point we're both fed up with this mediocre business. Dad says either have them send it back to the shipper and ask for a refund or try to get them to ship it to my place. Next time I order from someone, if the send it via FedEx, don't bother with them. And there's one thing I forgot to mention: On the tracking site the driver marks that the package has been delivered. FedEx is a joke. Their drivers are either incompetent or lazy. They lie to you left and right about where the package is and addresses. I am so done with this company. I am not ordering anything that uses FedEx and I suggest you folks not use them either.

I called Canton, OH Fedex office to find out why it was not delivered. He had absolutely no idea, did not offer to try to find out for me. So I guess whenever the driver decides he wants to make a scheduled delivery, he'll decide if he wants to or not or just take the package back to Canton warehouse.

I called a second time and talked to another person, he was no better than the first. He didn't know how to check on my package. He finally just said a truck driver had it and I would have it by 8 pm. I told him by Fedex web site it was sitting in a warehouse not on a delivery truck. He told me I couldn't go by what the internet site said. By 8 pm, no package. I called again. This time, got a person I could hardly understand. She was stupid and reading lies from her paper that FedEx gives to employees.

So when will I receive my package? Who knows, but the last girl told me if I wanted my package, I could drive to Canton and pick it up myself. I have no idea if it will be delivered or not. This is not the first time I have had delivery problems with FedEx. I will never make a purchase again if they use Fedex. I will only use UPS. They are dependable!!

My favorite FedEx experience is when they told me a package was delivered to my house (their proof was the driver marked it was delivered in their system). I work from home and my office literally faces the driveway. Had FedEx been here, I would have seen the truck. I called customer again and the guy had me looking all over the place for it. Even the garbage can. He said they have had multiple drivers put packages in garbage cans. How ridiculous is that?!?! Why would a package delivery company deliver it to a garbage can!?!? I set up an account, requested text & email alerts. Was told I needed to wait to get a tracking # -- they would email it to me. Lies. I stayed home, no package. Value is over $5,000 & my account info was internally deleted. No tracking #. Called, keep calling, no help. Asked for a supervisor when Anthony was no help. David tried but was awful. Used their services for years, but I've never been this upset, felt this violated -- If someone treated me this way in person, I would have called the police. Shame on FedEx for caring so little about the people who entrust their most valuable possessions to them. Been years since I've raised my voice & they turned me inside out till I was screaming -- unforgivable what they have done). On 7/1/2015, I sent a very important, time sensitive package of docs through FedEx to be overnighted priority 10:30 delivery. It was not delivered. I called tracking services at FedEx and the lady said it was stuck in Tennessee due to weather and wouldn't be delivered until Monday at the earliest. (The tracking shows it was delivered to Memphis, TN at 12:49 pm 7/2/2015. FYI: that's 2 hours AFTER promised delivery time of 10:30 7/2/2015 to Newport Beach, CA. So, on 7/2/2015) I scramble, driving an hour back to my office to get a second set of docs signed and to send the second set of docs overnight to be delivered at 8:30 am 7/3/2015.

I told the clerk at the FedEx store about the experience with the first package and I stressed to the clerk that it is imperative that the docs get there at 8:30 as the office closes at 10:30 due to 4th of July holiday. She guarantees it will be delivered at 8:30 a.m. which, FYI, is the earliest FedEx option... 8:30 a.m. is their earliest option... not 7:30 a.m. The clerk tells me that it will cost $72.13. I then told the clerk that I shouldn't have to pay for 2nd package and should be refunded on the first package and that that is the least they should do for me. She told me to wait and she would get someone that could help with that as she didn't have the authority to do refunds.

The second clerk comes over to assist and only says that they are just a store front and do not do refunds and that I would have to call corporate. I asked her who to contact and how to go about it. Her only response was that the only thing she could do is leave a note for her manager. I repeat my question as to how to go about contacting the right department and what steps do I need to take. She again responded the exact same response of only being able to leave a note for her manager. So, I pay the $72:13. The next day, 7/3/2015, my contact at the delivery point office calls me and says when he got there at 7:45 (early, as they open at 8:00) there was a note on the door that said tried to deliver at 7:30 a.m. and no one was there to accept so will be back to deliver on Monday.

So I frustratingly wonder, who delivers to an office as early as 7:30 a.m.??? Does FedEx really not care to the point that they will try to deliver to a place of business at unreasonably early hours (for a business location) just to say they tried, but oh well, no one was there so not their problem? I called FedEx and was transferred once again to customer service who then transferred me to specialty customer services. On my call to FedEx specialty customer service at 10:14 a.m. 7/3/2015 I talked to Brittney, who also confirmed that she thought that 7:30 was unreasonable for a business delivery. I was also told by Brittney that the first package, that was sent 7/1/2015 with the guaranteed delivery time of 7/2/2915 at 10:30 a.m., would be delivered by 10:30 today, 7/3/2015 and that weather had delayed it. At 10:30 a.m. 7/3/2015, it was still not delivered.

Also, according to tracking notes it wasn't even delivered to the Memphis, TN location until 12:49 7/2/2015... 2 hours after guaranteed delivery time for delivery to Newport Beach CA. If it isn't even delivered to Memphis TN until after the promised delivery time, how does it get stuck there due to weather when it hadn't even arrived there yet? Then Brittney tells me the second package that I requested to be delivered at 8:30 a.m., had been flagged to be delivered before 8:00 a.m. And that she didn't know why they would have flagged it like that.

I told her that wasn't even an option offered. I was told I could pay more for early 8:30 delivery (cost was $72.13) or pay for 10:30 delivery(cost: $43.00). Those were my two options. I chose 8:30 a.m, at the higher cost so I could rely on package getting there at least before 10:30 a.m. As by this time I have little faith and feel like it's just going to be by chance that it's even delivered on Friday. Also, Brittney says the first package is in Costa Mesa and will be guaranteed delivery by 10:30 a.m. today, 7/3/2015. It wasn't. So, I check tracking again and it just says "delivery exception," I don't know what that means. I talked to Brittney about refunding me on both of these packages as FEDEX guaranteed and did not fulfill their guarantee. She says she cannot do anything about it and that I will have to call back 7-10 days after packages have been delivered to request a refund.

She also said that the first package will not be refunded cuz it was due to weather and that the second package may refund but she couldn't be sure. That is when I asked for her name for reference verification of conversation. She gave me her first name but wouldn't give her last name or any type of agent number to verify that I talked to her. And she said she had no way of making any notes in system. And she wouldn't give me a direct phone number to the correct department for when I call back but that she hopes I have a wonderful weekend!!! So, I will have to go through the "being transferred" process again. I have to start all over with all the explaining and pleading my case 7-10 days from whenever they deliver my packages. And now I know that their promises are only at their own convenience no matter how much they charge for those deliveries.

Meanwhile, the deal is dead in the water anyway, unless when and if docs do arrive the accepting location decides to honor the docs. I stressed and stressed the importance of time sensitive docs when I stood at the customer counter paying for priority delivery. I received promises of guaranteed on time delivery. What I ended up with was a total of $115.12 for guaranteed priority deliveries, frustration, stress and more stress and no reconciliation. Unfortunately I will never trust FedEx with any of my packages in the future. I have always used them for my business. They have been my go to service. I refuse to ever use them again. That is sad that they have left such a negative impression on me. I always thought that if I ever did have a problem with FedEx that they would be happy to make it right and do everything possible to make it right. They haven't even given me any inclination of their concern. That's cold.

We sent a letter that needed to be delivered on time. It arrived two days late. The excuse was a two hour weather delay in Memphis. No refund of any sort, because it was a so-called weather delay. Not even a partial refund, and we never received a warning email that it would be late despite signing up for email notifications. Very poor customer service, we will never use FedEx again and will tell everyone we know the same.

I ordered The Halo hair extension from the U.K. Two days later I got a FedEx notice it would be delivered that day by 10:30 a.m. I was home all morning and no deliver attempt was made. Later that day I got an email saying I had to pick it up. After going through the torturous ordeal of setting up an account on their VERY unhelpful site, I notified them that I was going out of town for 6 days and could not pick it up. I requested delivery to my home. No response. When I got back in town I decided to just drive out to the facility and pick it up.

I did, and learned they had sent it back to the U.K. The clerk gave me a tracking number and provided no other assistance (not even the number to call), just said I had to call FedEx with the number. The number, of course, was an automated voice that was about as helpful as the desk clerk. All of this hassle just because FedEx is a very non-consumer oriented business that could care less about actually providing customer service. I never had this problem with UPS.

A package with critical financial information was not delivered today, delaying a property closing. The ramifications could be in the thousands of dollars. They even refused to refund the cost of delivery. I should have used UPS!! Never again FedEx.

These people will lie straight to your face... I ordered $600 item from Barney's and paid $25.00 for next day delivery. The package was sent from N.J. to Oakland Ca. which is about 20 miles from my home. That same package 20 minutes later was sent to Memphis Tenn. I was told by the Fed-Ex customer service rep the package was late due to weather... These people are too stupid to read their own tracking information. I refused the item and told Barney's why I won't be shopping in their store again. I just wasted almost 3 days of a 5 day vacation with these morons.
