I am a business owner. 1 week ago I sent a 50 lbs package overnight to another dealer in IN. The package was suppose to be delivered by 10:30 am the next day. It has been 7 days and FedEx has not delivered my package. $37,000 worth of merchandise. Every supervisor who gets on the phone could care less and all they say that they have no info on my box. 50 lb box and they can't find it. It obviously has been broken into a stolen. The box has not been scanned since it hit Memphis TN which is the main hub. The lack of customer service is appalling. $37,000 and I can't even get anyone to call me back. I'm flipping out!! If you ever have to send anything that is expensive or rare DO NOT TRUST FEDEX. The worst delivery company on the planet!!

Shipped entire wardrobe which was 7 boxes of clothes, shoes purses. Only one box was delivered as scheduled and it had been damaged and contents placed in generic box. Clothes were soiled. 3 boxes came a week later. The other 4 boxes were lost or destroyed. I was only reimbursed for ship cost of $127.00 by FedEx. I would not recommend this shipping company to anyone.

The television I ordered was delivered very damaged and then I sent it back. Upon sending it back, I ordered a replacement. The replacement made its way from multiple states away all the way to my state then it was refused and sent back to the shipper. I had to call and arrange yet another replacement. This is not the first time I received broken goods from FedEx and I never use them personally, but unfortunately in cases such as this, it is who the shipper chooses to use.

This is the second time in the last two weeks an expected package was to be delivered and wasn't. Waited around all day only to discover when I checked online that a delivery "had been attempted". This is not a problem with the address - two different addresses were involved and have received multiple deliveries in the past. The drivers are flat out lying and Customer Service is not much in the way of service. It's Friday and the next attempted delivery will be Tuesday. Why are we paying for the privilege of allowing FedEx to determine our schedules and manage our expectations? No more FedEx - I don't pay for the opportunity to be treated badly.

I am a physician and work via telemedicine with a clinic which maintains an account with FedEx. I need to regularly send critical documents to the clinic and had a package scheduled for pickup yesterday which had to be delivered today, as the clinic is closed on the weekend and this involved care for a sick patient. I was given a window of 4-6 PM. When the driver had not arrived by 5:30 I checked online and encountered a message that there were "difficulties with your delivery". Immediately phoned FedEx who informed me that the driver had come to the house, had spoken to me and had been told that there was no package (actually used my name).
No driver came, no one spoke with me and there most certainly was a package - a critical one. I was told that it was too late to send out another driver and that they couldn't accommodate me. Although the package destination is 3 hours from here they told me that they could not pick up the package today and deliver it the same day. As the clinic is closed on the weekend (today if Friday) this has left a patient in dire straits. Should there be consequences to this patient FedEx will be hearing from more than just me...

This is the third time FedEx has cost me money. I ordered parts for my lawn tractor. UPS and FedEx have both delivered to this address in the last month. This time FedEx says "Can't find address", "Invalid Address"! The item was purchased on eBay, and FedEx responded they needed the "Shipper's name and address". These are not available on eBay to the buyer. I responded with directions and GPS coordinates. FedEx advised information has been sent to the delivering department. It is now a week later, and the tracking still shows they need detailed info from me! There is no way to contact a person. I phoned the shipping dept. and no answer after 10 rings. The cust service number is automated, and all I can get is, "Package not delivered due to invalid address"!
This is the worst company ever! I also lost an HP All-in-One Printer. Driver dropped the box on my porch instead of handing it to me. The sound of smashing glass was heard. Driver said to contact FedEx and walked away. I was told by FedEx to contact the shipper! She got the money for the printer from FedEx! It was my printer, and I paid the shipping, about $70. I ended up with $40 from FedEx! DO NOT USE FEDEX! I am contacting eBay to try to get them to NOT USE FEDEX!

I purchased an item in Arizona that weighs a pound. I ordered on Wednesday afternoon. I received an email stating it would be delivered on Monday 8 pm. 5 days later I called FedEx and she said I would have to pay additional 16.00 after I already paid 25.00 for 80.00 item. Insane, I will NEVER USE FEDEX AGAIN. UPS is cheaper and more dependable anyway. Shame on you FedEx. Hope you go out of business.

On more than one occasion the FedEx delivery person has deposited parcels I was waiting for at a different address despite very clear street signs and house numbers. Today my parcel, a very expensive custom photographic print, was left lying up against a neighbor's garage door in the pouring rain. No plastic bag or other protection was used. The parcel was ruined. Neighbor called when she found it. FedEx doesn't care. The driver reported it as delivered to my front door - a total lie. FedEx should NEVER be a delivery choice. Their service is beyond pathetic.

Hi. I want to tell everyone FedEx is the worst delivery company in the world. Besides you want to lose your package and no one take the responsibility for you! I use the FedEx overnight delivery to deliver a very important document. I stay in home whole day to wait for the document. It is tracked in websites has been delivered in 1:00 PM. But I haven't received the package. Also during the delivery time, I wait in home. No one knock my door, no notify! Nothing!!! Just the websites I use the track number. It is said has been delivered! Left in the front door! So if the driver delivered, why don't you knock my door or leave a message or call me? It's overnight delivery. It should be safe, right? I spend $ for this. I got nothing! I lost my document! It has been almost 24 hours! My package is still missing! Who take the responsibility???

Package delivery. I had a package sent from US for research purposes on February 25, couriered so that I get the package in three to five business days. I have not yet received it. In March I got a call from Mumbai, that customs clearance takes place either in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. In Ahmedabad it came some time in March but I was told that unless I pay 5555 Rupees I cannot collect it (and it was not custom's duty). This was for late pickup and FedEx had a policy that if the package gets delivered irrespective of the responsibility the customer has to pay. I paid more in India than that in the original shipment from US.
After paying Rs 5555 (approx 80 dollars) I am now told that FedEx will not deliver and that I have to have an agent pick up the package from customs. It looks like absolute extortion. My advice to anyone planning to use FedEx: Do not use it for international shipments to India and by extension for international shipments to USA. The Indian office has a problem, they do NOT deliver on their promise. I have not yet received my packages.

There is too much to even list. I sent a $595.00 item packed by pack and ship through FedEx. They absolutely destroyed the product by tearing the bottom of the box off then the contents fell on the cement. They just turned the box over on the top, dropped the items through the hole and continued shipping it. Then when my customer got it destroyed FedEx denied even $1,00 of responsibility.

We received a delivery from FEDEX freight. The delivery charges were paid for by our vendor. The items arrived on a lift gate truck. No one ordered the lift gate truck. However the DRIVER chose to use the lift gate because it was easier for the driver. DRIVER NEVER disclosed there would be an additional charge. DRIVER then had the receiver sign for delivery and initial the driver used the lift gate. Now FEDEX is charging us an additional $44 for delivery. This is a very dishonest way to conduct business. I work for a business in the 28803 area code of Asheville, NC. I ordered receipt paper that came earlier than expected which made me happy, but I lost that happiness when I realized that the package had been "delivered" and "signed for" without my knowledge or anyone on my team knowing. So we start asking the other businesses in the suite it had gotten delivered there, nope, no one got our package.
I decided then to call FedEx customer service and though the woman I spoke to was pleasant, it did not make up for how irritated FedEx made me. After being on hold for a few minutes, the customer service representative comes back on the line and says that they spoke to the carrier that delivered my package and that they just left it somewhere inside of my building. "I'M SORRY, WHAT?!" A package that was to be signed for nonetheless, was left in the middle of my floor and would have not been found for a while had we not been told the carrier simply put it down somewhere.
This is a place of business that this package was delivered to, not only that, but there are plenty of people walking around inside of here for the carrier to have asked what to do with the package and where to go. What made this experience even more irritating for me is that the carrier and the customer service representative seemed to believe that just leaving a package sitting somewhere randomly is okay. I will not be using FedEx to deliver packages for me, and if they were my only option for carrier, I'd cancel my order until a different carrier could bring it, like UPS.

I got the text from FedEx about the delivery say it would be delivered on 3/25/16. Then I waited all day. They never showed. Checked online to check on my shipment and said it was received in Knoxville. I am in Sevier County. So I waited for a delivery all day... then next morning get text again from FedEx saying delivery today 3/26/16. Keep in mind this is a holiday. So I'm waiting and wasting my time and my husband's. He works 6 days a week and this was a holiday and we could be out enjoying our time. I get a text saying not able to deliver the package due to not being able at home to receive package. As I said I was here all day long waiting for this package that never came.
So I wasted two days waiting on a package that never showed. I called FedEx at the very moment that I got the text saying there was not going to be able to get my package today. I called FedEx and explain to them "what I'm explaining to you that the delivery never showed up." On the phone they tossed me around on the phone with several different people and never given me An explanation. Just kept telling me they won't be able to resend/deliver my package until Tuesday 3/29/16. I feel like my time was wasted and they expect me to waste another day. My time waiting on a package that should not have be late to begin with. And plus my phone number was there on the package and never got a phone call.

Fed Ex should be ashamed of themselves being such a huge company and having the worst service in this country. There needs to be a class action suit filed against this company to make them be accountable for their lack of service costing consumers tons of money. I had placed an order for samples of veneer stone from a company located in Canada. The first attempt was on Monday March 21 and apparently the wind blew the door tag away. The second attempt was on Tuesday, I was home but no knock at the door. 2 door tags taped to the screen door. I called them and went online and signed for the package as well as signed the door tag and left taped to the INSIDE of the screen door.
On Thursday, the driver took the signed door tag but did not leave the package. I called the 800# and they informed me it would be dispatched to be re-delivered. The local branch called me at home from a private #. He told me that he would have the driver deliver the package in a little while. I had my door open until 11PM and NO Fed Ex delivery. I called again on Friday letting them know that no delivery of my package and that now the sale is off as of midnight March 24 now costing me more than $900.00 more if I purchase the veneer stone. I wanted to see the sample before I ordered it. I have yet to receive the package that was promised to be delivered several hours ago. Fed Ex is an unreliable form of delivery and will NEVER use them.

I am a first time customer of FedEx. Recently my best friend had a baby. I was so happy for my friend that I wanted to send some gifts. Previously I have always used USPS and even though it took a lot of time to deliver, I have never had any problems with them. As I wanted the box full of baby stuff (baby toys, stuffed animals, books, clothes) to be delivered on time, trusting FedEx's good name I shipped the box to Chittagong, Bangladesh for 321 dollars. Even though nothing in the box was expensive, still the accumulated cost of goods came up to 200 dollars. The box reached Bangladesh pretty fast but I noticed a few days delay in delivery. Then my friend tells me, a FedEx representative comes to her house asking for money to release the box. Here I need to point out, it's personally very embarrassing for me. It was supposed to be a surprise gift for my friend.
If any tax money was needed FedEx should have contacted me and should have had a way to collect money from me and pay taxes. I was ready to pay any money needed at the point of shipment. But this is not even the whole story. My friend goes to the FedEx office to find out exactly how much money is needed. Guess what, they are asking for 375 dollars to release the box. I have to remind you, I already paid shipping cost 321 dollars, for a box that is valued at 200 dollars. How can tax be more than the value of goods or the shipping cost? When I call FedEx to complain, they urge me to take one of two options. First option, to abandon the shipment and let 321+200 dollars go down the drain. Or have the box shipped back to me by paying a shipping fee again of 321 dollar!!!
At this point I am feeling like I am being punished for choosing FedEx. Good customer service would have been if my box were shipped back to me and my shipping cost reimbursed. But instead your representatives are making me feel like it's my fault that I relied on FedEx to safely deliver my package. Now the only request I have to you is please kindly stop shipping to Bangladesh. Why do you take up responsibility of a job that you cannot reliably do? Instead the customers are harassed and mistreated. If the FedEx center in Bangladesh is full of thieves then you should stop accepting shipment there.
I trusted on your company's good name for the first time and I suffered a great deal. I am not rich, I am just an average middle class American. I understand profit is important to you. But if you at least did your job properly (that is delivering packages safely, reliably as you are supposed to) I wouldn't have had any complaints. I hope you improve your quality of service.

Called, gave them the store number for the driver to call when attempting delivery because despite having the correct address, he is not going to the right place.
Tuesday... SAME THING and NO phone call! I called and screamed at them. I spoke with 3 different employees and they promised it will be delivered today. Luckily, I didn't my hopes were not high because once again... the package is not coming today. When I asked when will the delivery guy rectify his mistake their answer is "Do not know, sorry ma'am." Ok. I could understand this for certain areas of the country, but I live in St. Louis, and we have 2 FedEx Centers here, and one right across the river in Illinois, only 30 minutes from my house in St. Louis. And the route they give for shipping shows them flying into the St. Louis airport, checking at the FedEx terminal there, then they trucked it to the Illinois terminal, and then is was trucked off the Champaign Illinois, Evansville Indiana, Indianapolis, Lexington KY, and then flown back to St. Louis. It was due on Monday, and FedEx told me they changed the delivery date to the following Friday, even though I paid for expedited shipping. I worked in Logistics for decades, and I have seen some really strange things, but FedEx just really, and consistently takes the cake.
I refuse to choose them if I have a choice. They really don't care, and just do whatever they want to. And don't get me started on their delivery people. UPS is bad, but FedEx makes UPS delivery drivers look like the saints of package delivery. FedEx sometimes appear to just do drive-by toss-outs, and I find packages in the bushes between my house and the street as if they just toss them from the window of their moving van. But most delivery drivers are contractors, so FedEx has an out when it comes to responsibility, of which I have been burned on a couple times in the past on too when filing a claim. Oh how I could go on. But the problem is, FedEx is large, very wealthy, and very well connected politically. So they can pretty much do whatever they want without repercussions for their actions. It's the American way..

I got the tracking number and looked it up. It was sitting in the delivery center even not 50 miles away. I called the facility and was told it was already closed and express wouldn't be delivering to the island until Monday! I said it was something I had to have today and had paid to have it shipped overnight. Was then told there was nothing that could be done. Owning a business myself I know if we would treat a customer only half this ridiculous we would be raked over the coals! This package was extremely urgent and I went to through the proper channels to get it the quickest way possible. Only to be told there is nothing that can be done. I do understand that nothing is guaranteed but in tracking the package it has Sat in Fort Myers since 6:00 this morning. Knowing that it was sent and paid for overnight and a truck had delivered to the neighbors house? If the express truck isn't coming to the island until Monday. Put it on the truck that is.

I was supposed to receive the package on March First. They only did one attempt. I called the following day letting know I will be at home waiting for the delivery. They didn't come. I did three different. Called in 3 different days. They just said the driver passed by. I said I was at home the whole day. Nobody rang my door bell neither left a door tag. They said the driver came. The reality I was at home those 3 days, they never left a door tag and never called me.

FedEx sent me a delivery notice for a package that required a signature so I stayed home waiting for the package, and after the normal delivery time passed they updated it for the next day. I received a "2nd delivery attempt" notice, but was told it was the 3rd. Their driver claimed to have made a 2nd attempt on day of 1st attempt - but it was at a time I KNOW I was home (and there was NO door ticket for that alleged attempt, either). (And if he had made a 2nd attempt on 1st day, then why did today's notice say "2nd attempt"). I tried to sign up for their well-publicized delivery program where you can change delivery date, etc. After 10 minutes of typing, I receive an email that says I'm signed up. But the system still doesn't let me in and I get "error 1000" code. Turns out that means you have not lived at the address you use for at least a year, and that you must have lived there for a year to get deliveries there.
Chat room person was useless. Phone rep. was nice, but her hands were tied. The best she could do was say they'd try to make another delivery attempt, on the date I said I'd take off work to be home, but she could make no guarantees. All this in the age of instantaneous, free-for-them digital communication. Oh, and they offered about 1001 times to have me pick it up. Their 3 pick up locations are miles away, and I'd have to rent a truck. Really, why does service get worse when they now have the technology to make it infinitely better?!

My wife gives me a hard time because I usually order or buy my daughter's birthday gift the last minute. So this year I made sure I ordered it at least 20 days before. Well the package was ordered February 17th, and shipped on the 18th from Arizona to Connecticut. Estimated time of delivery was 2-8 days maximum. Well it will be 20 days in a few hours and the package is sitting in Massachusetts after it spent 5 days in Arizona. Is Arizona that big? It only took the Pony Express 10 days to cross half the country (over 1900 miles). It will not be delivered until the day after my daughter's birthday, so they tell me. Now I will have to take the morning off from work to go buy her another gift. The package was better off on the airplane with Tom Hanks. Thanks FedEx. USPS or UPS or Pony next time.

Several companies that my husband and I have ordered from in the past have insisted on using Fedex as their shipper. It is very unfortunate, but both my husband and I have not received packages which the driver marked as "delivered" and upon calling Fedex's customer service, there is nothing they can do for us because the driver marked the package delivered, when in fact, the package was never delivered. It makes me curious about what happens to all the merchandise that gets "delivered" because the actual recipient of said merchandise never actually receives it!

This was the worst service I EVER experienced in my life... The driver was supposed to contact me when he was outside instead he put a note on the mailbox and drove off. He put the note tag on the door and drove off. Not one time did he ring the door bell or call me like the operator said he would. This is my cellphone and I been without and they didn't make better or try to help me. I talked to the senior manager and he acted I was lying on his driver about not ringing the door bell. This was TERRIBLE and this my last time dealing with FedEx. Now I have to go out my way and spend unnecessary money to pick up my phone because I don't drive. I can't stress enough how bad this experience was. I just can't believe this.

Often times I order from some of my favorite retailers online for convenience. It seems that more recently, my packages are coming from the manufacturing company and are being tampered with at the shipping facilities. It's very scary and frustrating to know that my personal items that I spend my hard earned money on are being opened and tampered with and sometimes even, items being removed from the packages after they've left the manufacturer's warehouse. I ordered a product online from a retailer I often shop with. Upon receiving my package and opening it, I noticed that it was tampered with. Looking further into my package, I realized 1 of my items were missing from the box. It seems like these package sorters are opening the packages as they are sealed, removing items, and resealing the packages as they are when they are shipped from the manufacture.
This is not the first time this has happened and it's so frustrating and makes me not want to utilize online shopping. Something really needs to change about this and there needs to be some kind of resolve. Why do we, the consumer, find peace of mind when there are acts of thievery taking place through major shipping companies like this one?

I had a problem with a neighbor receiving my packages. I complained to corporate because they don't give out the number to the local station. I mentioned how my neighbor got my package a couple of times and they didn't want to feel responsible for the packages being left at their door step. Since then I started getting notices on my door requiring signatures. I called Corporate, and they told me that no signatures were required by the sender. That anything being asked was from the local station.
I happen to be home when the driver came by and asked him if I now needed to sign for all my packages and he said, "Yes, since you made a complaint to our corporate office, we're are now requiring signatures at your home for all packages." I thought about that for a moment and he then said with a stern and demeaning tone "Because I know that I delivered those packages to your doorstep!" So it seemed that he was insulted by what transpired and apparently I was a liar. Since then I have missed package delivery after package delivery. I had to go down to FedEx and retrieve my packages because even the notices they left on my door had the signature tab torn off so I could not sign so they could leave the package.
I was getting another package and this time I had a friend stay over since I knew I wasn't going to be around. He saw a FedEx truck in the area but no attempt was made. He spent 5 hours waiting for a delivery. When I got home I checked online and called. The message stated that an attempt was made today but no one was home to sign.
I made another complaint about this and I was mad. I was told they couldn't do anything because the drivers were Contractors. I was just wondering if they have the FedEx name on the side of the vehicle why couldn't they do anything? If they weren't responsible then who was. I told her that I did not want to deal with this driver because the way he spoke to me. She said she would talk to the driver and give him a chance to correct the problem.
I had another package arrive and the same thing happened again. I missed the delivery and a notice was posted to my door. I have a locking delivery drop box for which I knew one of my packages would fit and they still did not drop off my packages. I called and asked if the packages needed a signature. Corporate told me no. I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor at the local site and they patched me in to this man named Don. He started telling me that I had to sign for it since it was an apartment complex. I told him, ”No it wasn't, it was a duplex and it was just like dropping it off at a house.”
He started telling me that it was policy and I told him that that was not the case before. Not until I made the complaint. He said he didn't understand how. I told I called BS on that and I didn't appreciate being lied to. He began to tell me that a signature was required and I got HOT! I started telling him about all the calls that I made and how I feel he is lying to me and he screamed at me telling me, "You HAVE to sign for the package or you just WON'T GET IT!“, and he hung up on me.
I called several times to complain and I kept getting told that the Top supervising manager would get in touch with me today. I have not heard from him yet. I have spoken to two managers at the local site and no resolution. I still have no packages. I refuse to be bullied into signing for my own property and being present for a delivery, when there is no such requirement.
I told the corporate complaint department that I am refusing to bow because these idiots at the local office have made it personal. Now I have made it personal too. I have at least four days off a week with not much to do. I told them I will finance deliveries of packages that no one will ever sign for. I will finance my friends ordering things online and not accepting delivery. I told them I will make them come to my house as many times as I possibly to make them waste their time and money. I will complain on sites like this on a regular basis as long as I have energy, time and money because I have all three. I have notified all my suppliers not to do business with FedEx when sending me packages and I will recommend all my friends and business partners to do the same. Since they made this into a personal battle now so have I. All of this over someone’s pride and an unnecessary signature.
I invite anyone from corporate to challenge my version of this. I have all the phone calls recorded and saved. I have the blowout with the last manager I spoke with. I have all the calls to customer service. I can and will follow up with more and on other websites since I can. Did I mention I have an insomnia problem? Hehe...

I have been getting dog food delivered from Chewy.com for about 8-9 months with no problems. Now there is a new guy driving a ** guy that is very rude and disrespectful. I am disabled and unable to move those heavy boxes. He was asked to put them in the garage where there is a sign on the wall to put them. He *refuses* to put them where they are supposed to go and yesterday (2/18/2016), he put them right in front of my door to where I cannot get in and out of my door and I can't move the boxes. Now if I want to go get in my vehicle I have to go out the front door, down the sidewalk and around the house to get to my car.
As stated, I'm disabled so this is a hardship on me. This same person when he made the delivery last month, he attempted to put the boxes at my front door DESPITE THE NOTATION FROM CHEWY.COM that the packages are to be put in the garage. When I opened the door and asked them to please put the boxes in the garage where they are supposed to go, the stock ** guy got all huffy and rolled his eyes and pfft at me, then stomped around and *slid* my boxes on their side in the garage. He did NOT put them IN the garage as requested but slid them in the door. Then despite being told he needs to put them IN the garage when making the delivery yesterday he stacked them right smack in front of the door. I was told by his supervisor that he would be told to come and move the boxes today. He was just here delivering to a house the next house over from mine and did NOT come and move these boxes.
I will be filing a complaint with the Americans with Disabilities about this as this treatment is totally unacceptable. Not only can I not get in and out of my garage door, I can't take my garbage out tonight either due to this disrespectful piece of **. I hate pulling the race card here but that's exactly how it appears to me. I'm a 60 yr old disabled ** female that a young ** guy can't even take few extra steps in and put the boxes in a designated area in order to make it accessible for me. Pretty sad state of affairs.

I was told that they would come and get the package before the end of the day; and was instructed to leave the package where it was on the porch.
At 8:15pm, I called them again because the box was still in front of my door on the porch. I was on the call for over 20 minutes, and spoke with two different representatives explaining that this did not belong to me. I told the representative that I was not going to be held responsible for the package and wanted it removed from my property. The second representative told me that the office was closed, so they would not get the package until Monday.
I told them that was not acceptable, and asked what am I supposed to do with it. The representative told me that they did not care what I did with it, they have a process in place to reimburse people for lost merchandise. I was surprised, so I said, "so I can just throw it in the dumpster because I want it off of my porch. I should not have to hunt down someone's address to deliver their package to them." He said that FedEx doesn't care what I do with the package; but they would not be there until Monday.
It is ridiculous that a small package transportation company will just leave someone's merchandise at the wrong address; and not follow through on their commitment to retrieve the merchandise within an acceptable time frame. He pretended like the package was at my apartment office the whole time lol. Now, here we are again, another "delivered" package and another open investigation (shaking my head). Just looking at FedEx's social media and other reviews on here it's clear FedEx don't give a damn about their customers. Rude phone reps and no replies to any complaints made on their pages.

So my wife ordered a coffee table and cabinet from Target. Normally we would do this in store but one of the items was online only. We got notification on Friday at 11:51 AM that it had arrived. My wife had come home from lunch and I was home at that time and I had the day off. I would like to mention I live in a upper level 2 bedroom condo with 2 pitbulls that bark whenever anyone comes up the stairs. The packages that were being delivered were about 50-70 lbs. a piece yet when the package was delivered my dogs did not bark so later on we called FedEx said they weren't delivered and gave us the whole "Are you sure?" crap. Of course we would notice 2 big packages and my dogs would've barked when they were delivered.
So we got a case opened and was told someone would contact us by Tuesday. Luckily we had a neighbor tell us the next day the packages were at building J number 5. We live in building O in what world a J looks like an O. I'm not sure or maybe FedEx needs to teach its employees the alphabet. Nonetheless I had to drive to building J pick up these boxes and haul them to my place after they had been left sitting in the snow overnight. I called and complained and was shown no empathy. I just want FedEx to know you are hated.

I do not want to completely rag out FedEx, as in the past, they have been fairly reliable. But today, I have been the victim of what I consider a lazy, ignorant driver. It is raining. Not hard, but raining. Instead of doing what every driver before him did, this guy decides he does not want to get out of the truck and walk the 20 feet back and leave my pkg. in the plastic bag as all other drivers before him have done. This pkg. was not to be signed for. I am livid, as I have waited for the pkg. for 10 days.
I called and gave customer service order number. The delivery schedule page tells me the pkg. will be attempted to be delivered the next business day. To me and the rest of the world, that's Monday (it's Saturday). She goes on to inform that is not FedEx's schedule, I will likely receive the pkg. Tuesday. It will be almost 2 weeks before I receive my goods. I am blaming the driver, not FedEx as a whole. Like I said earlier, they are normally alright. But this has me really upset. I needed some of what is in the pkg. for Superbowl Sunday... That is now moot.

I have had 3 deliveries through Fedex in the past month. 2 were lost, and the other was damaged. The first lost one was delivered to me by the person it was incorrectly delivered to 6 days later. Fedex never addressed my report of the missing package. The damaged one is pending. Today, the other lost package cost me 2 hours of phone calls with no resolution. I am hesitant, but on the verge of believing the driver may be dishonest. The damaged package was lost for a month before delivery. I will no longer purchase from any company that ships through fedex. My purchases are for a kitchen remodel, and have extended my discomfort of living with no working kitchen. The horrors of a remodel, however, are nothing compared to the horrors of dealing with fedex.

2 days ago, I called a friend to let her know our mutual friend with cancer had passed early in the morning. While on the phone, I heard a thunk outside the door, FedEx had left a package. Thinking it was something for my upcoming wedding, I went to get it. It was someone else's package, called FedEx, told them package was misdelivered and was outside door where driver left it. Yesterday afternoon, the recipient of the package shows up looking for it. I told him what happened, he left. He comes back with his daughter, package was for her, makeup & stuff. What can I do? I felt like I was being accused of stealing a child's makeup. He said FedEx had no record of my phone call, showed him my phone showing a 3 minute conversation with FedEx the morning of the misdelivery. His daughter said "that was when the package was delivered".
Later that evening a FedEx guy came by for package, told him I left it outside, it's not there now. He said the day guy probably has it, was not surprised at screw up. This morning a FedEx guy showed up 2x looking for the package, inspecting my yard. I work from home- this does not mean I don't work, when I'm in front of my computer I'm working. I couldn't get FedEx to come and pick up the package right away when I called, now they have been here 3x in less than 24 hours. My soon to be hubby said the next thing is the FedEx swat team. I understand a little girl is upset about her makeup, but I want to be left alone. In slightly under 10 years, we've had 3 packages that were supposedly delivered, but were not. We live on the cross street of a county road, people throw garbage on my lawn, boxes have disappeared, my car has been vandalized.

I ordered a phone and paid for overnight shipping. I was home the next day, and expected it as the CSR advised it would be there by 8 PM. Around 6 PM I thought, it should've been here by now, since it was shipped from about 6 hours away from where I live. I checked tracking and even though I had paid for and been told overnight, FedEx took upon themselves to change it to 2nd Day without telling me. Next day, delivery comes literally 10 minutes before my wife arrives home (she took half day off to be there for delivery). The door tag states, “Will be available for pick up at 6 PM at local distribution center.”
My wife drives down 30 minutes 1 way mind you, only to be told, "Well the driver is running behind and won't be back until 7 actually." So, you took my money for overnight, FAIL! You say it will be here at this time instead, FAIL! And you say, "Well you can pick it up at this time", FAIL!!! So three strikes FedEx. Your business practices are why your business should never be used by anyone, ever again. FYI, I work for a very, very, very large entity, and I am going to pursue a complaint to my manager, that we never use your services again either. I grabbed the dog and with the package was trying to open the door and get her the package through the doorway. She continued to push against my door making it impossible.
I told her "I am trying to get this package to you." She kept screaming "do you have the dog?" "Yes," I replied "let me open the door." She screamed at me "You don't have to get smart." I said "I am trying to give you the package. I didn't deliver this to the wrong address." She screamed at me, "You didn't call me." I told her I did NOT appreciate how she addressed me. She told me she didn't get smart with me. We definitely have a difference of opinion on that matter. I am seething. I was not forewarned as promised in which case I would have had the dog who is not vicious secured. I do not at all appreciated being screamed at. Just came in for her 5:30pm shift and she was all smug already. She switched over with Alex who helping me and she started taking over the items I am trying to send out for $121.00 and mind you these are medications that can actually save a person’s life. My total came up to $142 which is way over the quote that they give me and I have been sending the same medications for months and I was never charged over $130. So I had to tell her “That is too expensive.” She gave me a look and said "You don't want it?" I said “It is not that I don't want it but the quote that you gave me was pretty far off.”
I asked her politely to give me the lesser charge and upon clicking SHIP? The computer froze! She was in front me saying to the computer “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?” Then, she grabbed no actually she snatched the paperwork in front of me as if I am not a customer. I was there almost 40 minutes standing waiting for my transaction to finish. She went to the other computer and started the process from the start and as swiped my card, it does not want to go through. This is what ticked me off. She looked at me and said “YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE PACKING ON THE BOX AND BRING IT BACK HERE” with an attitude and full of disrespect. I told her I am paying for the packing materials and I am taking the box but not wanting to do business with them.
FedEx you guys should filter your people more. If your employees are going to bring their personal problems at work you guys are going to lose business. Your employees are supposed to help, not look at their customers and JUDGE. But from what I can see Tanya does not want to work! This is the most disgusting service I have ever received in my life! I created an account specifically to write this review for FedEx. I'm of the mindset "if you don't have something nice to say...", but I can't contain myself. I have lost count of how many unsatisfactory experiences I have had with FedEx (mostly their Smart Post shipping option that companies use), but this is my 3rd from a specific online retailer from whom I purchase frequently - not anymore.
They use Smart Post, so when I have to return something, there is no other option unless I want to pay through the nose for an alternate method with tracking. Not only do the items take weeks (literally, 3 weeks minimum) to get back to the destination, but when they lost my last package (the tracking information had no movement for 27 days), they did nothing to rectify it. Customer service read from their list of canned responses trying to placate me and, ultimately (after having to wait an additional 2 weeks), told me there was nothing they were going to do. Thankfully the retailer was helpful and refunded my money, but now they're going to have to fight with FedEx, so they're losing out.
My most recent experience was my last straw. It's been sitting at my local post office for 7 days, according to the tracking. They say FedEx picks up daily, but packages are obviously not being scanned by FedEx because this is where the tracking information halts. I am through with companies that use FedEx, Smart Post, or anything relating to that company. I got my money back last time, but I doubt they'll refund me again - who would? I don't blame them. But now I'm out quite a bit of money.

After I submitted my order with the agent at the front counter to scan two 4x4 inch booklets and two souvenir coins, I stood there for almost an hour to wait for the scan order. After all that wait, the store agent only had one of the four things scanned correctly. It was an exasperating experience seeing a supposedly trained Kinko's employee to try numerous scans on just two 4x4 inch booklets without cutting off corners and edges. I explained to her clearly that the two booklets don't need to be scanned on the same page given the fact there's plenty of space to fit two in one scan. It's a simple job that anyone can handle even myself.
After she saved the scan docs on my flash drive, I asked her to open the folder for me to double check if the correct images were there. Turns out that one image was missing because she forgot to save it. Eventually, she told me to do the scans at the self service station knowing that I had explained to her at the beginning the self-serve scanner was producing poor image qualities and odd coloration when I tested it before I submitting the order to her. I was very upset with her incompetence to perform a basic scan job and customer service skill. In the end, I asked to speak to a store manager, and was told there is no store manager on site. For both days the attempted delivery time was a little after 3 in the afternoon. Wal-Mart was open those days! For the other order, there was no "hold" showing in the tracking activity and actually no other activity was documented for the order. But for 3 days I was told that it was on the truck and would be delivered that day or the next day. I was told it was not lost. I was told it takes 24 to 48 hrs. for the "hold" to show up in the system when it had already been 48 hrs. I was told I would get a phone call with a status of the order the next day. This was selected because I was informed that due to the value of the package it would require a signature. The person receiving the package was unable to stay at their home waiting for the package for the day, thus I selected the shipping method that would have the package delivered no later than 10:30 am. Needless to say the package did not arrive by the guaranteed time. Due to this the recipient had to then call someone to wait at the home because they had to leave for work.
I called FedEx to complain about not receiving the package on time. They explained that the delivery was delayed due to weather. Keep in mind their weather delay was because of a thunderstorm/rain. I opted to file a claim for a PARTIAL refund. Truly I feel that I should get a full refund, but it was delivered so I am willing to pay what it would have cost me to send the package for delivery after 10:30 am.
I filed the claim on 12/18/15, and called back on 1/12/16 only to be informed that it was denied b/c the delay was due to weather. Let me not forget to mention that at this point I have been told that it was due to weather, and then another agent stated that the delay was due to an accident (who knows the truth at this point). I work for the University of Illinois, and along with my purchasing privileges come the necessity to do (normally) very simple tasks, such as obtaining detailed invoices for my purchases. I was appalled to find that FedEx literally will not give you a copy of your invoice for previous shipments, even if you have all information on the shipment, including the date placed and tracking number. This came about because ordering a shipping label online "estimates" what your final price will be, and when the actual shipment is processed it may be more or less expensive than previously detailed. For instance, my first receipt estimated a cost of $6, and eventually I was actually charged $7; as such, a new invoice was required for Purchasing to approve my bill.
This is when my utter frustration began. Apparently, without a FedEx account number, there is no such thing as obtaining a past invoice. Online customer service was entirely useless and dismissive, while simultaneously being insultingly patronizing and also offering irrelevant information. Calling the toll free number they gave me resulted in being disconnected 3 times before finally speaking to a human. She issued me a "receipt" comprised merely of the amount I was charged and on what day. But at least she bothered to help me at all, which is more than I would ever say for their online customer service rep.
When I asked how I might contact the company to review my experience, the same rep responded by sending me the same horrible toll free number... and a fax number, just in case I'm actually living in 1994, I guess. (Back when it also wasn't possible for a huge international company to keep/reissue electronic records of shipment transactions.)

I received a package from Amazon as a gift for my son. In the past, FedEx has dropped packages in front of my garage, which while annoying, isn't that big of a deal. Last night, however, the delivery person decided to leave the package underneath my mailbox, which is right next to the road. The only way I knew to look for it was the person who sent it asked if I had received it. This is unacceptable behavior for a company! Luckily the package wasn't stolen and there wasn't anything important inside. But others may not be so lucky!

On December 22nd I went to a FedEx office location and shipped a small package from Simi Valley to Palm Springs, CA via FedEx Express for a "guaranteed" delivery time before 10:00 a.m. the next day. I confirmed with the agent that the package was guaranteed to arrive by 10:00 a.m. as I had family members waiting for the contents before they could check out of their hotel. The cost was $85.00! The package was not delivered until 3:05 p.m. on the 23rd. Five hours late.
When I contacted FedEx about a credit for not meeting their promised deadline the representative said "Oh, perhaps you did not know but the delivery guarantees were suspended for the Christmas holiday, and therefore we cannot provide you a credit." I told her that the FedEx agent who accepted my package did not inform me of this suspension of guarantees and in fact confirmed the package was guaranteed to be there by 10:00 a.m. The representative then said "We cannot provide any credit, is there anything else I can help you with?"
Afterward, I reviewed the FedEx policy online and it clearly states that their "guarantee is suspended for express deliveries delivered between December 18th and December 24th for packages that are delivered within 90 minutes of their scheduled commitment time." However, my package was delivered 5 hours late and clearly not within 90 minutes of the scheduled delivery time.
I then called back and spoke to another representative who also said there was no guarantee. When I read her the policy from their website she said "You are reading that correctly, but there is no guarantee!!!" I then asked for a supervisor who when connected, confirmed my tracking number and name and told me she credited my account the entire amount. WHAT? After all of that, I was refunded? Why did they put me through all of that nonsense. While I am happy to get the credit, my opinion of FedEx has been marred and I will not use them again. Seems it would have been better for them to honor their policy and take care of their customers. Now they have lost a customer... and probably a lot more like me. Shame on them.

Twice in a row in dealing with FedEx they have delivered my package incorrectly. The first time about a month ago I shipped a package. FedEx delivered it 30 minutes away from the actual destination. Throughout the process of "tracking" the incorrectly delivered package FedEx constantly misinformed me, passed on incorrect information, and never followed up with me when they said they would. After numerous phone calls and hours spent dealing with FedEx one week had passed and my package still wasn't delivered properly.
Finally with the other party's help I was able to successfully locate the package myself and he had to drive 30 minutes out of his way to pick the package up himself. I then called FedEx for a shipping refund and after being placed on hold and transferred to several departments for well over an hour I was told that I would have to call back in 3-4 weeks to request a refund because their corporate office would need to receive the invoice from my local office. Yesterday I was to receive a bookshelf and instead was delivered a car part. The driver didn't stop to even wait for me to come to the door. In the time it took me to walk from my couch to the door (less than 10 feet) the driver was already back in his truck and speeding down my street.
I immediately called FedEx to report the error and was told that the driver would be contacted to correct his error that day and I would receive a call from a tracing specialist within 2 hours. After getting off the phone with FedEx I noticed that they were due to close at 3 PM (which was 20 minutes away). I immediately called FedEx again and was told that I was misinformed and that I would not receive a call from FedEx until Monday morning and that the shipping error would not be corrected until Monday.
Seeing how this was almost the exact same circumstances as their last error 3 weeks ago, I asked to speak with a supervisor. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes FedEx disconnected my call. I finally gave up, tracked, and retrieved my package myself and in the process delivered the package shipped to me in error. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Nothing but headaches. Their drivers cannot read labels, and lots of misinformation.

I ordered a sweater about 3-4 days before Christmas. I expected it to be a bit late because of the holidays, and to be fair I've not had as much trouble as most of the other reviews (yet, anyway), but what really caused my displeasure was when I checked exactly where my package had been. I live in Virginia, and my package shipped from Ohio. From Ohio, it went to Georgia, then to another city in Georgia, then up to Tennessee, then was somehow routed to Florida, and is just now back in Tennessee. My expected delivery date has been pushed back three times and now I don't even have one. I guess we'll see within the next week if I ever get my poor sweater.

If I could go lower than one star I would! It does not matter how many times, who, or what time of the year. FEDEX cannot find me and delivered my packages to all my neighbors. Including a blank bank draft for $40,000. I spoke with every single manager at Fedex just to be told that they will fix this and yet every single package is sprinkled like fairy dust to one of the houses surrounding us. I keep hoping that Fedex will mistake once and deliver our packages to us but NOPE has not happened in the last 5 years we have lived here. Yes the house is numbered and yes detailed instructions are given to FedEx... Last time I spoke with a owner of route who assured me this would not be a problem again, that was a week ago. Today yet again my package is misreported to someone else... No one knows where, I love it how generous Fedex is with my purchases. Ordered Lego set for Christmas from Toys R Us 12/18. Package gets to Memphis Tuesday, 12/22, 6 AM. Said that package would be delivered by the 24th. Package was still there on the 29th. Went from delivery on the 24th to "pending.'' Called FedEx and was told by rep that it arrived without contents and that I should call Toys R Us. My point being, if FedEx knew this and had known this all last week, why didn't they notify one of their biggest shippers of the problem? Why does it take a week for me to do all the leg work? Really, really poor.
So package is shipped again this time from KC. Order was processed 12/29/15 at 12:18 PM. It arrived at the FedEx facility at 7:57 PM. Then how was the pick-up scan for 12:00 AM on the 29th? Magic? Or most likely an automatic computer response to a missing scan? They really can't be trusted too well people. I was home all day and I left a signed note with my cell phone number and told them to leave the note on at the main door if they could not reach me as instructed by the automated phone call I received the day prior (an indirect signature) was required. No attempt was ever made. No doorbell was rang. They did not try to call me, nor did they leave the package at the main door or even a door tag. Then I get a status update, saying a delivery exception. I called their 1800 number within five minutes. I was told by their agent no door tag number was even recorded at the time. So basically, no attempt was even made and the driver basically lied.
The agent informed me that they would try to reattempt on the same day and I would get a call back from the Maspeth office. This is at 11:38 AM. Two hours later, I did not receive a phone call. I called the 1800 number and got connected to the Maspeth office. The agent said they would try to reattempt between 2 to 6 PM and they could not get a hold of the driver. At 4:05, I get a status attempt that says that the package is at the facility. Of course, I call back and after two attempts, I get connected to the manager of the station called Noe. He told me they could not attempt to deliver my package and I would have to wait till tomorrow since there were no couriers. He did not even address the blatant lies and acted like this was my fault.
At this point, I wanted to make formal complaint and talked to executive agent called Janelle **. She said they would handle this matter internally and it was too late to try to deliver this package, and all she could do was apologize. She also said that it was not their delivery driver's job to ring the doorbell. That doesn't even make sense and also there was a signed note on the door to leave the package. So basically, in all, not only did FedEx lie, they gave me the runaround from 11 AM to 4 PM just to tell me it's too late to reattempt at 5 PM even though I called since 11 AM. They never attempted to deliver the package in the first place and never tried to correct it. The agents were completely unsympathetic and acted like this was my fault or issue.
I have never had an issue with UPS or USPS but always have some type of issue with FedEx. They are not accountable for their actions and who can trust a company where the delivery drivers are completely untrustworthy and lie? Also, this is two-day delivery and today is the third day. So not only is this company untrustworthy, they are unreliable. Furthermore, reading previous reviews, this is not the first time this has happened with the drivers. FedEx needs to be accountable for their actions.

I am currently in Costa Rica for a few months (or longer as my sister is ill) and when I buy things on the internet I have them shipped to a freight forwarder in Florida and they consolidate my purchases into one box and bring them to me. One company I deal with on a regular basis recently changed shippers and started using FedEx Express. The problem arose because unbeknownst to me, FedEx Express turns packages over to USPS for final delivery of packages. USPS refuses to deliver to freight forwarders. I think USPS is trying to force people to use their ridiculously expensive international shipping service which I cannot afford to do. FedEx Express should be held responsible for the delivery of my package since they originally took possession of it. They refused to do anything.
I ended up having to file a complaint with the US Postal Inspectors since it is a federal offense to refuse to deliver the mail. It took months and many levels of government to get the package delivered, FINALLY. My point is, that FedEx Express completely washed their hands off the entire process. They should not give packages to someone else to deliver unless they are going to be responsible for final delivery. The end result is that I cannot do business with this company anymore, a company that I had been very happy with until FedEx Express reared its ugly head.

Unfortunately, they used FedEx overnight services to get it to me which as of today (12/26) still has not happened. When I called the customer service group at FedEx they simply repeated what was on their website for tracking and suggest that I try back later to see if anything has changed. The whole point of calling was to make sure that the package had priority and would be delivered today since after all I did have to pay for the next day air service which was 3 days ago and the package was delivered to the local FedEx distribution center.
The kicker in all this is that the package is currently at the local distribution center and all they had to do is make sure that the package was put on a delivery truck. According to the time stamps from their tracking services they had 3 hours to do so but decided that the overnight service should take 5 days. I dropped off two packages by 6:00, the deadline for west coast and Hawaii deliveries, on December 23. The package going to Monterey, CA, which showed as being accepted at 6:02 pm, was delivered at 6:00 pm on December 24. Great. The package going to Hawaii, which showed as being accepted at 6:01 pm, did not even leave that FedEx location!!! It was there the next day! It wasn't even picked up by the driver! When I dropped those packages off, I specifically asked, "These will go out tonight right?" and received a "Yes" answer from the man who helped us.
When I tracked the packages early the next afternoon, I saw that the package to Hawaii was not even picked up! The driver was there scanning packages when I gave them both boxes! The one to Monterey was picked up! This was a total FedEx screw-up! I called both this FedEx location as well as the FedEx 800 number, and was told the driver didn't pick it up because it was accepted after 6:00 pm. ONE minute after! When I was in line before 6:00 pm AND the FedEx agent who took the boxes from me said they would go out that night! AND the box accepted at 6:02, one minute after the Hawaii package was accepted, WAS picked up by the driver. If the FedEx agent who helped me had said one of the boxes would not go out that night, I would have taken it back.
When I called today, 12/24, FedEx said the next time the package could be delivered was NOT Friday, NOT Saturday, NOT Sunday, but MONDAY, the 28th, when the agent who took the package from me said it would go out 12/23 and be delivered 12/24! This package was supposed to be delivered in time for Christmas on Dec. 25! Why the hell would I be sending it on 12/23 if I didn't want it to be delivered on 12/24?
Since of course they don't deliver on Saturday in Hawaii, God forbid, I then had to go the FedEx office today, pick up the package, take it to the US post office, and pay 54.00 to have it delivered on Saturday, Dec. 26, which is still the day AFTER Christmas, when this package was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 24, the day BEFORE Christmas, because they were Christmas presents. FedEx acted like I did something wrong, when THEY are the ones who told me that the package would go out Dec. 23 and be delivered on Dec. 24. On 12/22/15, I checked the tracking status to see that my package was sitting in state within 40 minutes of my home and P.O. Box, but that the package would not be delivered until 12/28/15, which was clearly beyond Christmas.
I emailed FedEx in hopes of resolving an issue, to which I received a scripted response apologizing for the inconvenience, but offering zero resolution. The email specifically stated that delivery commitments is within 5-7 business days. I even communicated with someone in Executive Management Support who stated she had called the Northboro location and explained the situation, and would keep me updated. I have not received an update and the tracking still has a delivery date of 12/28/15. This is a reflection of the company that hired them to fulfill a delivery commitment and I hope they will look to use UPS or USPS in future holiday seasons. Shame on you FedEx.

First complaint was earlier, even contacted FedEx and never got a response. The package was in the middle of the drive on the ground, less than 15 foot from the driveway entrance. The driveway is about 100 ft. long to the house. The package contained electronics. The package was also scuffed, as if it had been tossed rather than set. The tracking info said was left at the front door. The camera we had set to watch the driveway, recorded NO ONE ENTERING THE DRIVE THAT DAY EXCEPT US and a couple squirrels. It was good the electronics were packed good. We do have a container for parcel drops about 50 foot from the road, out of site, out of mind from people passing by.
The latest incident was with a package delivered to the wrong house. It was a vacant house. Took another week to get item replaced. I made a point to ensure I was there the entire day of delivery, costing me work time. The driver had not even went looking for the package, but was trying to get me to say I had it and that he needed to take it back. I told him when we saw it had been delivered, I did check the neighbor's porch for it, but nothing. I guess he didn't believe me, and went across the street to check. He also asked why our address was not marked, it is and was. (Funny, UPS does not have a problem finding us). I will be requesting UPS delivery from now on. Never worried about it before... The GPS system and all the computer maps/locators I have found have us right on target, exactly where we are.

Finally I was being directed to the right person, yipee, but wait someone hung up on me. Well 10 minutes of my time wasted! I called the number back and in about 5 minutes I was finally talking to a lady that was going to help me, she said I could take the package to my local Fed-Ex drop off which for me is about 15 miles or I could pay $4.00 and schedule a pick up. I'm having a horrible experience with FedEx ground. They were supposed to deliver on Friday, 18 Dec. 2015. I miss my delivery. I called and ask to hold it, and I would pick up next business day. FedEx is closed on Saturday. I went to the office to pick up on Monday and my package wasn't there. Rep said it could be on truck heading back at Hagerstown! She didn't know where. I was told they had 48 hours to have it at the store, which is unacceptable.
I am sign up to track package. I hadn't heard a thing and I needed my package Monday. It's Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., and I haven't heard anything. I called again and was told it could at the terminal, or went back to Hagerstown. They don't know where again. I'm willing to drive to wherever it is but reps have no clue. I called FedEx to tell them I never received a package last Friday like it stated on the tracking info online. Well, the lady said, "Which side of the bridge do you live on and which direction?" Your drivers have the address, but being nice I gave her all the info she needed. Well, I get a voice mail from a no ID phone number and the lady tells me that the driver is back out at my home. She says she sees a note on the door and she is assuming the note is for my package. My husband gets home and said the note was gone I left for UPS to leave my package (because UPS actually delivers on time) and my husband said I had a note from FedEx saying they were there and I also had a "sorry we missed you" from UPS. I am VERY upset with FedEx! Why take my note off the door if you're not delivering a package to me??
You fail to realize that I just talk to you, so know that note is not for you! So DO NOT take notes that aren't addressed to you and if it's not addressed to anyone, then use common sense & don't take it off people's doors!! And especially treat me like I'm an idiot by coming back to check to see if my package just magically appears for you somehow at my back door like I don't know how to look for my own package. I don't use FedEx often, my packages are ALWAYS delivered through UPS (thank God!!), but the few times I do use FedEx, it turns into the worst nightmare possible! Just to sum up how awful FedEx really is, I ordered a Vera Bradley purse on Black Friday and it's still just chilling at the FedEx post in Atlanta! FedEx doesn't even deserve a whole star!

The rep told me "don't worry, your package would arrive before Christmas because we just experienced high volume of deliveries" or something. Guess what, I got the message today the 12/21 that my package already delivered on the 12/07.
I was so upset and still tried to be nice to the customer service. She told me she would file a claim for me and she even gave me a claim number, asked me to wait that I would have received a form soon from them to fill out. Been waiting, I called again. Another rep told me "oh the claim was not valid" because she didn't do a trace dispute first in order to create a claim. Which means I have been waiting for nothing. Absolutely unbelievable. These people make themselves look like complete scam artists. Let me tell you the story of why I will never be using FedEx again. I paid over $250 for 2-way shipping across several states, and insuring the package both ways. It is now 5 days and several lies from them since my package was shipped back and it still isn't back here. It was shipped back on Monday and the original scheduled delivery date was Thursday by the end of the day.
On Thursday, someone came by the house only to tell us that the package was crossed off his list because it was "too big for his vehicle" and that a truck would come by later that same day to deliver it instead. He even came by again a few hours later to tell us that "the truck was making its rounds now." Well, okay, no problems there yet, until it becomes the end of the day (8 PM) and still no package.
Checking the tracking number on the website, it says that no attempt was even made to deliver it at all (???) and it auto-rescheduled the delivery for the day after. It was already a minor annoyance at that point, now that I'm expected to wait at home all day for not one, but two days solely because of their negligence, but it gets worse once I check the tracking number again on that day (today) only for it to tell me that the package was picked up at exactly 8:59 AM and was on transit for delivery.
I wait all day (again) up until 7:20 PM, 40 minutes before the location closes, and it changes its scheduled delivery yet again to "pending" and then shortly after to the next day once more, so I decide to call them. All that the woman on the phone says is that she's sorry and they deliver up until 8:00 PM. So I have to wait until that time, which is when they close, and if I still don't have it, call them back again. Okay. I still didn't have it, and called them back a second time, also realizing that my package has apparently spent over 11 hours on a delivery vehicle without me actually getting my package or any more updates on the tracking number.
I spent about half an hour on hold only for them to, again, be extremely unhelpful, and ultimately just tell me to wait until tomorrow morning to call them back since the store is closed and they can't find out anything about the package or why it's delayed, even though they personally told me to wait until after they were closed to call back in the first place. This goes on through the form of several more phone calls, supposed ETAs both on the site and on the phone, and the only thing they seem to be doing at all is delaying my delivery date constantly.
Some people in this world have jobs, and just because they refuse to do theirs doesn't mean I can keep taking time off mine just to sit at home and wait for a package that will seemingly never come. Their service is absolutely non-existent on the road and completely useless on the phone, and I will be advising against FedEx everywhere I go from now on.

I will start by saying that I have had off and on bad and good experiences with FEDEX. That being said, lately they have gotten much worse. For example, today I had two different deliveries (not sure why either). I have learned to register the tracking number on their website to warn me of a delivery, exception or delay. The first delivery was supposedly delivered at 4:06pm to my home office. I was sitting at my desk (I can see when the truck pulls in) when the email popped up stating a delivery was made and of course no truck, driver or package. I searched around the area only to find no package. When I started the chat feature on their website (useless by the way), I get the usual reply and runaround.
That being said, I did receive a follow-up call from a gentleman that wanted to know what happened. After explaining it to him, he said it would take 24-48 hours for him to get back in touch with me after they talk with the driver to see where he left the package. Fast forward, at 5:16 I receive a phone call from a lady that works in the same company my wife does. She asks if she is speaking to the right person and I said "yes this is he." She said "I had some packages delivered today and I have yours." After a conversation between me, my wife and this lady I asked if she wouldn't mind telling me where she lives. She told me and based upon her address she lives 6 miles away from my address where the package was supposed to be delivered. Mind you, not on the same street, neighborhood and almost out of the county.
Now to the second delivery today. I left my home office at 6:33pm to go to dinner with my wife. When we returned two packages were delivered from FEDEX. Of course, not the one from the first delivery that they believe is still lost. I called their customer service number to find out where the other two items are that were part of one package. Meaning, the one package is supposed to have three items with the one tracking number (taped together or banded - still waiting to hear from the shipper how he packaged the three items together). The first and second person on the phone said that "your package was delivered and there is nothing else we can do". I told them that they only delivered part of my package and I wanted to know where the other two items are. Of course, they were no help and by now I am overly mad and my blood is starting to boil.
I was told that I would have to contact the shipper to find out what happened and that he would have to inquire where the other two items are. Two mistakes in one day is too much for anyone to deal with when someone pays good money for an item(s) and pays for the item to be shipped. I am still waiting for information about the two items that are missing from the second delivery. I hope that eBay will refund my money due to the error of someone else. Shipping companies have gotten so sloppy with tracking, delivery and customer service that I am thinking of only buying items locally because there is way too much headache dealing with incompetency.
As a side note, I had just bought a sign to hang in my office and it reads "CAUTION I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR STUPID PEOPLE" and those who work for FedEx in the departments of customer service, delivery and all those associated fit this bill. So long FedEx. Until UPS starts to decline like you have, I will only use them for now. Once they do, I will write a complaint about them too. I hope people read this complaint and be warned about the poor service they are bound to receive.

FedEx what can I say, so much has been said already. First I would like to say good blue collar jobs are not easy to get for white middle-aged men in America anymore, thanks to our country's hiring practices. That said here goes. I was to have received my package on a Thursday by end of day. So I waited and waited and waited. When I checked my email it proclaimed the driver had been there at 2 pm and could not deliver because nobody was home. Yet he left no door tag as proof of his claim. My email stated that another attempt would be made the next day, and guess what. Only this time he claimed the attempt was made at 8:45, but I saw this information on my email at 8:20 almost a half hour before the fake attempt.
I once knew someone that worked for this company, and said it was not uncommon for a driver to skip part of the route in order to get finished early. Especially during the holidays when they might be out until late, and claim they had attempted delivery. The mistake this guy made was going to the same address two days in a row. I returned home this afternoon to be greeted by a knock on my door from one of the apartment complex's maintenance men who informed me that there was a box with my partner's name on it ripped open by the outside of the building next door. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the box was indeed that which contained the painting. When I looked up the tracking number, the Fedex website informed me that the package had been left outside of our door. Feeling that this was a rather poor business practice, I called the Fedex customer service number.
The first time I called, someone answered whose accent was so thick I could not even understand her greeting. I hung up and called back. The second woman that I spoke with informed me that because the person who shipped the item did not request signature confirmation, that the delivery driver was authorized to leave the package at the door. "Of an apartment?" I asked also adding "Doesn't that seem a bit careless to leave a package where someone who is not the recipient might swipe it?" Her response? "Well sir, that's our policy."
I told her that even the postal service, as bad as they are, have never simply left a package on my doorstep regardless of signature confirmation being requested or not. Instead opting to drop it off at the apartment office two doors down from my door. She simply stated that she didn't not work for the post office to which I told her that she should reconsider her employment because she was making the postal service look golden by comparison. So basically, Fedex will leave your packages for anyone to walk by and pick up because taking an extra thirty seconds to walk thirty feet and leave it in a secure location is simply too much work for the drivers. They just lost any future business they may have gotten from me.

I have done all of my Christmas shopping online so of course many of the sites use FedEx to have their item shipped. Now I have never been one to use FedEx. I much rather prefer UPS and here's why: for one I had ordered a Versace bag as a gift and rather than them holding on to the item while I was not home they simply left it on my doorstep. That was a Versace purse that they left wide open for anyone to just steal. Second I ordered a shirt online over two weeks ago and it has yet to arrive. When I made the purchase it said it would only take 5-7 business days and yet it has been well over two weeks. Third another item that was supposed to arrive a week ago is now under "pending" though it's been in Wisconsin for what is now going to be 4 days.
They offer customers a time frame of when items should arrive and they fail at sticking to that timeframe. There is no reason for my item to not have arrived for over two weeks, I would understand if it were an international package but that isn't even the case. I am beyond unsatisfied with this company. You would think that for having such a big name they would know how to take better care of their customers.

FedEx is slow. I was supposed to receive a package on the 4th. I live in California, my package is coming from Ohio. When I checked it was on Arizona, then it went back to New Jersey. They changed the date to December 11. Once it got to California it says on the 14! I'm so mad. China packages arrive faster. FedEx sucks..

Very bad service. Every time I have a package coming to my home from FedEx it's always late no matter what time of season. Or it is misrouted. Never on time. My package this time 1 from Winchester VA went to Indiana not New York. It was supposed to be delivered today 12/9/15 home del, now it's being delivered 12/11/15, five days from Virginia for the del. FEDEX told me that it was supposed to go to New York terminal then out for delivery today. And not only that they have a bad habit of lying to me, why can't they tell me the truth. I have been in shipping and receiving for over 30 years and I know the business and I know when I'm getting snowball. This system is terrible. I am never going to use FedEx again. FedEx changed del date from 12/915 to 12/11/15.

I would love to know how my package shipping from Durham NC, went to Texas, AZ back to Texas then Mississippi and finally to Charlotte NC and then to me. This sure sounds like my small little package had a nice detour. Last I heard Durham was in NC!

Never again FedEx. Absolutely horrible service, customer service and way they handle customer. It is supposed to be an overnight delivery. Driver comes and does not ring bell or anything. Just leaves door tag. I call customer archive next day and ask for time when they will come. Rep tells me that it will be any time up to 8 pm!!! After paying for expensive FedEx overnight, they expect customers to wait for entire day sitting at home. Asked whether they can give a delivery window. They say they cannot. Then I asked for package to be held back so I can go and pick it up later in the evening, they tell me that is not possible either!!!
They tell that the package will be available only after 24 to 48 hours after the driver turns in and they know where it is turned in. Is this the idea of overnight? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. In addition, their reps will threaten you asking personal questions if you press them. The door tag BL nor the sender asks to be signed by a particular person. Yet they will threaten you and say that your name is not there and ask personal questions. WORST SERVICE. EVEN USPS IS BETTER. NEVER EVER WILL USE FEDEX AGAIN.

Order **: Called for pickup at 1:15pm. By 4:30 no one arrived. Called again. Rep could not find order. Called again. Another rep found order. Driver could not locate address even though it is on the outside of the building in 16 foot letters and numbers. Rep suggested I drive boxes to nearest FedEx location. (Isn't that the purpose of their pick-up service - to pickup?) Talked to dispatcher. No help here either. Lab specimens on dry ice - he could not understand why driver couldn't just pick them up next day. Unbelievable rhetoric and nonsense from these people. I'm going to suggest to Quest Diag that they use another carrier.

Placed an order which is being shipped via FedEx Home Delivery. According to the tracking information the package was supposed to be delivered on Friday December 4th because it left the Lewisberry facility on the 3rd and it has not yet arrived and they are not listing a date for arrival. Lewisberry is no more than 2 hours from my location and I have no idea why it is taking almost a week to be delivered. This is totally ridiculous. I just hope that the other orders I have placed and are being shipped arrive on time - especially since I just checked on one of them and it went from NJ to Connecticut and will now have to come back down from Connecticut to Philadelphia.

After posting this review and voicing complaints to customer service, the delivery was expedited and time sensitive documents delivered on time. Someone at FedEx remedied the situation. Whoever that person was, thank you!

Went to FedEx distribution center to ship international envelope containing time sensitive documents. Asked specifically for the fastest delivery. Told two options: Option one FedEx International First with delivery Monday at lower price. Option two FedEx International Priority at $142.41 with delivery Friday. Emphasized documents were needed to be delivered prior to Sunday. Was guaranteed by clerk the envelope would be delivered Friday with International Priority. Next day checked tracking #. Scheduled delivery changed to Monday. Paid for Friday delivery, received slower service delivery at priority price. So Employee #**, you either had wrong information, lied, are new, untrained or don't care. At a minimum, customers should receive honest and accurate information.
Called customer service, no help. Requested to speak to supervisor. Again no help. Told to wait 7 days after Monday delivery and request refund. "Sorry for the inconvenience" is a phrase with no meaning. Side bar: If your business has a billing account, pay close attention to fees charged. Envelopes weighed at local distribution facility show one amount. Invoices later received had discrepancies ranging from $1 to $20 for each shipment. Accounting/billing will tell you discrepancies are result of inaccurate facility scales. Facility personnel stated scales audited monthly. Cancel billing and pay with credit card. This avoids the billing discrepancies.

I ordered a rain chain which was supposed to be delivered by FedEx ground. When I checked the tracking info, it indicated that the package was delivered. I was home at the time of the supposed delivery, but I didn't receive a package or any kind of notice. I filed a claim with FedEx, but because their driver said it was delivered, they're just indicating the package was "lost or stolen" & it was my responsibility to contact the shipper. I noticed that many others have the same complaint about FedEx. How can FedEx just write it off that a package is "lost or stolen" and they have no further responsibility or accountability to the shipper or recipient? I think FedEx needs to be investigated.

I have had a terrible experience with Fedex. Not only did they lose a TV and an Xbox, they claim to have delivered both these things without any proof. Many things happened to the TV: it was scheduled to be delivered the next day "due to business closed". Then it "never made it to the distribution center". And finally, "it is on the truck for delivery today (i.e. three business days AFTER the scheduled delivery day)". If it wasn't for the kindness of the seller, I'd be out $600 since Fedex takes no responsibility of their delivery staff.
Next, the saga of the Xbox. My guess is that the delivery man scanned the package and never got it off the truck. Repeated phone calls to the Fedex Customer Care has resulted in multiple "It has been delivered to your leasing office" or "We have started a trace. Expect someone to call you within 2 hours". Neither of this has happened. While it is correct that somebody at the leasing office signed for it, they never received a package for my apartment.
Finally, the kicker. The TV and the Xbox arrived within an hour of each other. My fiancé signed for the TV. Somehow, hauling a 55in TV to the 3rd floor is FAR more convenient than delivering a comparatively tiny Xbox. Not only did the Home Delivery service make no attempt at delivering it to the actual home, they delivered it to nobody. Hence raising my suspicion of foul play even further. To add insult to the injury, Walmart, the seller, refuses to acknowledge their mistake and start a claims process from Fedex. At the moment, I'm out $400, no Xbox, and no hopes of getting my money back. Well done Fedex and Walmart! I shall happily take my business elsewhere and make sure not a penny is made available to either from amongst the people I know, or myself.

Package was to arrive on 12/4, I happen to go outside to take the recycle to the bin and see the FedEx van (4:40PM) in front of our driveway blocking our cars. I yell to my husband that our package is here. He comes to the door and I join him a second later after and we are both standing there watching him scan items then he gets in the driver seat and drives away without delivering anything. We call right away and are told the package was delivered at 4:41, we tell them the driver drove away and didn't deliver anything and we want to speak to him. Well you need to call tomorrow at 8, so we do and then are told the driver needs 48 hours to respond.
We ask to speak to a supervisor, she says the same thing and maybe he was delivering to another house, "No he was in front of ours and never left his van. Where is our package? Did he steal it?" She then states worst case scenario is you contact the merchant and they refund your money or ship the product again. Wow, I couldn't believe she said that to me. And then again, we need 48 hours, blah blah blah. Called again in the morning on 12/7 and was told they are not allowed to take our calls and hung up. Unfortunately I have another package arriving via FedEx tomorrow, let's hope this package arrives. I did contact the merchant and they are shipping product again. I have reported them to BBB and will go to the new if I have to, they shouldn't be allowed to do this.

Multiple times I have called FedEx as a sender, and every time I've been hung up on. They don't care at all about the senders as they don't have to answer to the end user. They should at least not cold hang up on someone.

I ordered a package from Hewlett-Packard that was to be delivered on a Saturday. I can say unequivocally that four people were in the house at the time the FedEx driver allegedly tried to deliver the package. Instead, all I had was a door tag indicating that he tried to deliver the package, but no one was home... a lie. I contacted Federal Express, only to be told that they were sorry and that the package would be delivered on Monday.
On Monday, I went to the tracking webpage to see the status of my package and saw that it would not be delivered until Tuesday. Allegedly FedEx ground is closed on Monday (!). So I was lied to by the driver and lied to by the person FedEx on Saturday; obviously, to calm me down. When I spoke to Federal Express on Monday to attempt to redirect the package to a local facility so I could pick it up myself. They told me that such an action would delay the package another 24 to 48 hours. Are they kidding? The Postal Service has better customer service.
As a business owner, I can tell you that we will never use Federal Express ground ever again. I would not want to have my packages be unable to be delivered on a Monday. Whoever heard of such a thing? All I got from them is an "I'm sorry". That's just insufficient. Would it be okay if I said I was sorry if I failed to pay? If someone is serious about a consumer's Bill of Rights, there must be penalties for merchants and shippers whose only response is that they are sorry.

Was waiting for a package. Went online to track it and it said "Delivery Exception." They claim they made a delivery attempt and there was no one home. My wife was home all day waiting for the package. While online I registered so I could enter delivery instructions and I requested that they leave the package at the front door hoping that they would comply the next day. Fedex never showed up. I called my supplier. They told me they would contact Fedex and get back to me. When they called me back, they told me that Fedex said they will not make anymore attempts because they tried 3 times, so they are returning the package to them.
They told me they were going to send another item to me via UPS which I received within 3 days, same name, same address. Also, while I was online registering on Fedex website, a window popped up inviting me to a chat session. I clicked yes so I could tell them how I feel about them. Then I got this message: "a Fedex representative will be with you shortly. You are number "62" in the Queue." I was so outraged that I just closed the window and decided to NEVER USE FEDEX AGAIN.

Friday Dec 5th we waited 12 hours (8:00 am to 8:00 pm) for delivery that required a signature. At 6:00 pm we called customer service who assured us it would still be delivered that evening. At 7:53 the tracking website said "Customer Not Available or Business Closed". This is a lie!! Five phone calls, numerous lies (Yes Sat delivery. No facility closed and no delivery) and 48 hours later we've been told the package will be delivered on Monday. Our vacation has now been delayed three days. And we're at the mercy of FedEx.

I first started having issues when I ordered a very fragile item. They kept moving the delivery dates and the package was in the next county over which for me is 30 miles away! So I called, the female rep told me she would have her supervisor check into it and call me back... The supervisor called back and was very rude from the start then they send a driver who is not the ordinary one. I greeted him with respect and he never responded. He handed me my package and then ripped it out of my hand! And asked "are you the one with the problem about delivery?"
So I called and complained. No response then they start leaving my packages in the road so I called back. No one ever called back. Finally I threatened to youtube the driver and then I get a call from a security agent from FedEx stating that threading my packages were being left in the road was because I was put on a hostile list! After speaking with me the agent realized that I had every reason to be upset and that I wasn't as hostile as they were trying to say.
