Ordered a gift from Walmart. I paid extra to use FedEx and the delivery was never made. I went to view the FedEx site and the Walmart site and both said the delivery was made. When I contact Walmart they said FedEx delivered and I have to file a police report and fraud against my cc #. Really! Come to find out my package didn't come from Walmart (where I ordered it from). It came from a third party vendor "Ingram Micro". I won't purchase online from Walmart. I will stick to Amazon and I won't use FedEx for deliveries.

This is the worst. I won't ever order something through Fedex even if I will die. I requested something through Fedex and I asked them to call me before the delivery. Is it hard? I am living alone and I need them to call me before delivery. I don't think it is a big deal? But they are saying "no we can't." Sometimes, they are saying, "we will try but we can't commit." I hate Fedex. At the end, we agreed on time and they told me "we will come at a specific time" and they never showed up. And I am still waiting...

I was told FedEx was a fast and reliable, compared to the USPS international service but I have found out they have no idea from the local level to to the final international delivery. They have no idea what the hell they are doing cause of a lack of communication. So good job to the United States Postal Service, at least they won't lie to you. Receipt so old it's faded.

Tried to sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager to track a shipment. Their system displays 4 PERSONAL INFORMATION questions about me, my location, my relatives, and my address -- two of which were FALSE - totally unrelated to me or anyone I know. Have been at my home for 11 years. I know who lives here -- me. System rejected my sign up and there was no option to dispute it. Contacted Customer Support - totally worthless. 3 non responses and one explanation that did not even attempt to resolve the issue. Just more excuses. Should be investigated for using fraudulent information against consumers - for what? Because I wanted to sign up for a notification system? The fact they are BUYING my personal information bothers me. That they are buying FAKE, FALSE information and using that fake information to deny me services is worse.
"Please be advised that enrolled addresses must be classified as residential. Customers enrolling must pass an authentication exam. Authentication questions are provided by a 3rd party vendor who collects data from many sources. The questions are designed to identify the person signing up and validate they belong to the residential address they want to register. If insufficient data exists, the customer will receive an error and will be unable to enroll. Customers who have moved in the last 30 days may not be able to pass the authentication exam. According to the 3rd party vendor, they capture authentication data 30 to 60 days after a move so customers who have recently moved may not be able to authenticate until at least 30 days have passed."

I will give a 5-star salute to FedEx... Your drivers take the time to deliver regardless of where you live... I live in a apartment/complex and understand this is sometimes difficult to deliver the package. I help the driver by being there when the truck pulls up... and I just sign at the door. His truck is secure and so is he. On this day I had important package coming and it was coming by FedEx. The driver was excellent. He had took the time to call me on my cellphone. I am thinking that all drivers have their own routine... But this young man took the time to call. His name is Curtis and he was very surprised when I told him that this was the first time I got a call. Just wanted to give him thanks for going the extra mile. And thank you FedEx... I can relax when FedEx is bringing my package.

I ordered a package for my brother's birthday two weeks ago from out of the country. There was a delay but it was shipped on the Tuesday before his birthday (on Saturday). I had my choice of shipping services and stupidly decided to try FedEx. Well, I paid extra for the package and had them send it via express so I could have it as soon as possible. I received a scheduled delivery time of Friday, 11/4. I was at work late on Friday but had someone home to answer the door when my package was supposed to arrive. It never did. I wake up Saturday morning, only to see that my package has been rescheduled for Monday, two days after I need it. I called FedEx customer service, had difficulty understanding the accent of the agent on the line, and was told that because it was in transit, I couldn't do anything about it and I had to wait until Monday.
No apologies or consideration from the agent. Either they won't or don't deliver it on Saturday, unlike their competition. Perfect. What a waste of money. I could've gone with DHL or UPS, two companies I've had fairly good experiences with, instead of getting screwed by incompetence. My brother is only in town today, and then he has to leave to prepare for a business trip. I won't see him for a month, at least, and this coat is not going to be of any use of him after he gets back. I am never using FedEx again, and will be going out of my way to recommend to all of my friends and coworkers to avoid them, if they want to get their packages on time.

I have been using FedEx for at least 10 years and never had a problem until I decided to compare prices with other Courier companies. After researching prices I found a better deal through a company which I will not mention as this is not the point of my complaint. In my dealings with FedEx my Company (**) had couriered many times docs to the U.S. Long story short, I had canceled FedEx and started using the other Company, the problem was the Company use to send my docs to in the U.S. were fraudulently using my account! Ready for this, FedEx said it was not their problem and I should go after them, even though I canceled my account and they allowed the other company to use my account!! Just wild!!! Their service is deplorable!!

We are a business out of KC that has been very blessed over the past few years and we ship out furniture and decorative items across the US. We left UPS several years back, due to very poor customer service and because they were breaking Ground shipping items at an alarming rate, but yet wouldn't reimburse us or our customers for the packages and contents broken. So... We decided to go with FedEx. We loved their services at first, and were promised all types of gadgets and devices to help our business become more successful with shipping (label makers, scanners, etc). Not only did we never receive anything and still haven't, but in 5 years have never been given an account rep/business rep/ or manager to help us with questions or anything (most other couriers assign you a rep to help you become more successful and get better rates).
At first they sent us a packing rep, who helped us order packing supplies for our items, so we did and pack to their standards... but it is funny, if anything gets broken, they won't reimburse us... unless it is a very cheap $100 item. We find their customer service also very poor and they won't return calls, emails, or anything. This is very frustrating, because we probably spend between $10-20,000 in Ground shipping items each year.
Sadly, we are leaving Fedex and strongly recommend any small business, large business, or just a customer looking to ship an item, to find a local or independent courier that respects and appreciates their customers more than FedEx or UPS. Both companies talk big and pay for good advertising, but if you read their online ratings... they are both truly awful. They love taking your money, but will not support you when things go wrong. Our business has a 5 star rating and we appreciate every customer that orders from us... Can't say the same for large shipping companies like Fedex. It is a shame. :(

I ordered an accent chair on Wayfair.com. To make delivery requests, Wayfair told me to call FedEx. So I did call. I expressed to them that I will not be able to receive a package on Oct 31st. I requested to have my package shipped Nov 1st at 1pm. I called 4 days in a row to confirm that I will be getting my package on the day that I requested. Each sales rep I spoke to assured me. I spoke to numerous sales reps who said they put a note on my shipment to have it delayed to Nov. 1st at 1pm. Needless to say, I get a phone call on Oct 31st from the delivery driver that he is waiting for someone to let him inside so he can bring the package up. Mind you, the address I am having the packaged shipped to is my new address and I will be moving in on Nov 1st.
I scheduled several deliveries for that day including the one I am suppose to receive from FedEx. I had to call FedEx again for the fifth day in a row and tell them that they MADE A BIG MISTAKE. I spoke to 3 different sales representatives because each one wanted to keep me on hold for 30 minutes. The last sales rep I spoke told me that Wayfair misinformed me that I could make a time request on my package when in fact FedEx were the ones who told me that I could. FedEx does not want to own up to their mistakes. They put blame on everyone else. Now, on the day that I am moving and expecting multiple deliveries to my new apartment, I have to travel to pick up a package at a local FedEx on Nov 1st. MY PACKAGE BETTER BE THERE FEDEX!
I don't understand why after you were the ones who misinformed me, could not simply bring my package on the time that I requested. I understand that is not the norm for ground shipping, but you told me you would the first 4 times I called to confirm, yet on the 5th time you want to change your minds. I am very disappointed in the lack of great customer service skills and the finger pointing that goes on in your company. The best thing to do was to send my package the time I requested as an apology for your mistake. Now you are inconveniencing me on a very big day for me. Wayfair, please choose a different delivery carrier. FedEx is super unprofessional and they are so disgusting to you when you have a problem that is caused by them. They treat you as if your life is nothing and you don't have other important things to do.

I knew I was in trouble when the Go FedEx guy told me that my package was in Covington, Los Angeles. He didn't know that the state designation for Louisiana was LA. I have been trying to get a package for a week from them. I waited until noon two days and they didn't deliver until the afternoon. I put the package on hold at the Covington office, went on the third day to pick it up, and it wasn't at the Covington office (45 minutes away) because they were still trying to deliver it to my apartment. Now they won't deliver it to my apartment. They take down my number, say they will call, and then don't. Now I am so confused I don't know how it is going to work. It appears they will send it back to the shipping company and I will be out of luck and have to start all over. The Customer Advocate office is rude and does not help. FedEx is very good on regular packages but does not seem to know how to deliver a signature required package.

I really can't understand "WHY"!! FedEx Carriers can wait at least 1 to 2 minutes for the customer to be able to go downstairs to received their packages. Just this morning I had call Walmart to inquire about my package, because FedEx supposedly delivered it on 10/26/16 and also give someone my packaged slipped, of course "Lose it". So meantime I call Walmart to be able to get the tracking number so I can arrange my packages to get delivered, because my building "DOOR BELL" wasn't working. Even I know that Walmart has be sending me email stating that I will receive my package on the 10/27/16. I look out my window saw the FedEx truck didn't even give me a minute to run downstairs. As soon I open the door he drove away. "RIDICULOUS"!!

All the company if packages not fit in the mailbox they will placed them in the desk which is located in front of mailboxes or by the unit door. However, Fedex doesn't leave the packages. They don't even bother themselves to knock the door! My husband stay home for 3 days and I asked him to check the main door of apartment every hour!
They will never show up and only when you track your shipment online there is delivery exception that business closed or customer is not available! But they don't even try. They don't leave the tag! They don't leave the note! They don't call cause it's not allowed! They don't knock the door! And they don't leave the package! I assume they are expecting people to stay at their door waiting for them! I call 3 times and chat with 4 different agent (Regine **, Pauline **, Nikki **, Ralph). They are all polite and they follow what I really need and promise me that the next day it won't happen again. However same problem happened the following day! Even customer service have no idea what's the problem! At the end they ask me to pick up my package from their office myself! They never explain what was the problem!!! What is the use of post with FedEx.

A package was scheduled to be delivered to my residence on 10/26/2016 by FedEx. No package showed up and when I checked the website tracking information, it showed my package was delivered. I called the FedEx so called "customer service" number and reached people in Mexico who I could not understand and apparently they could not understand me. After many verbal requests to connect me with a representative in the United States and a long delay, I finally was able to speak with a FedEx call taker in the USA. So far, nothing has been done to resolve the delivery failure. After going through this nightmare with FedEx, I am going to insist that every supplier, and I have many, that I buy from ship my purchases by sources other than FedEx. This is a nightmare that just keeps going on.

I hardly ever use FedEx and my story proves why. I waited at home for a delivery that had to be signed. I designated two days making sure I was home for the entire day as they do not specify time slots. I even attached notes to both doors asking to knock loud and not be shy. Alas! I signed up to FedEx message alerts and received a notification that I was not home when in fact I was right there sitting and waiting like an idiot... with my partner. I might add that this was supposed to be a delivery of wine. And I hope it is still there in one piece. Dear Winc, I highly recommend opting out of FedEx as they are killing your potential customers.

Next time, I am using your competitor and then I will see if maybe I can obtain better customer service. Every time it's a problem with getting my packages somewhere on time.

I ordered a package from China, paid 350$ to FedEx, then I had to help them because they did not know how to clear a package. Then I had to pay for the clearing service, although it is part of the service. Then the package got stuck at the customs, and the customs charges parking space per day. So FedEx charges this amount to me, although I ordered simple common metal machine parts. Then I needed to pay FedEx for the "clearing service etc.." All in all I paid almost 800 dollars for transporting a package of 350$ value.
When you try to make a complaint, they will tell you that it is your own fault?? Like I am supposed to know a thing about clearing custom article numbers etc??? AND the clearing service they promised was part of their service??? SCAM ARTISTS, Terrible service, totally incompetent. Calling customer support, and filing complaints does not even let them follow up on the issue. This is by far the worst experience with any transportation company ever. Heck the worst experience with a company period. DO NOT USE FEDEX... EVER. DO NOT USE FEDEX.

Received email stating package was delivered at door - I was home. I went out to check and it wasn't there. I walked up and down the street to see if it was delivered to the wrong address - it was not. I then called FedEx immediately and they said they would look into it. 3 days later FedEx said they talked to their driver and he said he delivered it. Customer service then informed me that they were no longer tracking it because it was delivered. I told her that it must have been delivered to the wrong location and she said "case closed". Package was delivered. There is definitely something wrong with a company with so many of the same complaints and I am worried now every time FedEx is listed as my carrier on orders. FedEx should be investigated for theft and negligence.

I have never written a negative review in my life, but I am strongly compelled to do so now. I wish I could even say this was terrible service, but I can't even say that, as I haven't actually received any service at all! This is the third time that FedEx has claimed a delivery attempt, but has not actually done so. On three separate orders, I have received a message from FedEx via the seller that a delivery attempt was made, but never once, on a total of 7 supposed attempts, has a delivery attempt tag been left on my door. On two of those occasions, I was actually home, and no one knocked or rang the doorbell.
Furthermore, when speaking with customer service, they insisted that the package wasn't delivered because I wasn't home. In fact, I WAS HOME on multiple occasions. However, the package did not require a signature, so it should have been left in any case. When I mention that, they say didn't have an explanation. Furthermore, I have a porch, and the package wasn't left there. Finally, I went to the distribution center on Poth and spoke to a manager, who assured me that he would leave notes on my address and that this would never happen again. Well, it has.
I have spent a total of 10 hours of my own time trying to sort this out, hours talking to customer services reps, and sending pictures of my home entrance to verify that it is clearly marked and accessible. Still, no one seems to be able to help me solve the problem, which shouldn't be that difficult. All other delivery services, USPS, UPS etc.have no problem delivering. It is just FedEx that cannot competently leave me a package. Unfortunately, I can no longer use FedEx for personal or business reasons, nor can I patronize businesses that use FedEx, as I will never receive my orders. I will have to inform these businesses why. Not only is FedEx hurting themselves, but also other businesses. In the end, I am mystified by this, and in fact suspect that they aren't even trying to deliver my package. Frankly, they can't seem to be trusted. Better take your business elsewhere.

I used FedEx to ship a Asus Chromebook back to Asus for repair. I shipped the Chromebook through FedEx at an OfficeMax store in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They packaged it and transported it. When Asus received it, the body was dented and the screen was smashed in the lower left corner. When I contacted FedEx to file a claim I was told that OfficeMax would have to file the claim because they were the customers. After some trouble I got OfficeMax to file the claim. FedEx approved the claim and mailed a 100.00 check to the OfficeMax corporate office in Boca Raton Florida. Don't forget. I'm in Illinois.
When I spoke to Cameron, the OfficeMax manager, he told me that I MIGHT get the check in six to eight weeks. He also told me that the damage to the package was not their fault. So I get stiffed for a 250.00 Chromebook and OfficeMax gets an extra 100.00 out of the deal for damaging my Chromebook. How is it that FedEx underinsures merchandise then requires the customer to go through a third party (OfficeMax) to file a claim, and then issue a claim check to the third party and not the customer and then say they are done with the issue leaving the customer to deal with the third party to get the claim check.

I am writing about my recent experience with a FedEx delivery of medical equipment for my husband who has just undergone a total knee replacement and is in considerable pain. The package (tracking number **) was sent out to me on Tuesday, October 11, for two to three day delivery. Thus, the package was expected by Friday, October 14 at the latest.
When the package did not come on Friday, we phoned FedEX consumer affairs department on Saturday to make sure the package would be delivered on Saturday. We were assured that it would be delivered. However nice the representative was to us, the package was not delivered because it was marked as a business delivery. We subsequently learned, however, that FedEX reported that on Friday "future delivery" had been requested. Presumably this was the supposed reason why the package was not delivered to me on Friday. We never requested a delay in the delivery date -- so this was untruthful. Then on Saturday, FedEX shipping records indicated that "we were not available" for delivery. This was also untruthful as we were available for delivery. We were informed today that as the package shipping was changed to 'home delivery' we would not receive the package on Monday, as we had been promised.
It appears that the false information and poor service we received was in part due to a lack of good information provided to FedEx customer service representatives and, likely, total inefficiency at the Broomfield, Colorado shipping office. Now after several telephone calls to customer representatives, we can only hope that the equipment we purchased will come in time to be some small use for my husband's recovery.

He said that he had a difficult time with the woman who took his information, but after having to correct her several times in spelling, etc., he was able to confirm the shipping address to be correct. However, between him leaving the store and the package being delivered, the address was completely messed up and not even close to the original correct one. It's been a month now and after speaking to numerous representatives and "managers", we've been told that we have to pay all over again and open up a special FedEx account.
Is there not any other option than to give this company more money and open another account? We were told several different things, but I think it was just to get us off the phone. I was told it was delivered back to the sender, which is a lie. Then I was told it was delivered to me. That was a lie, too. Then, we finally get the information that they will not send it to anyone, they will keep it until we pay and make a special account. I'm wondering if I should file a police report, since I'm not sure how FedEx can claim ownership of someone's medication and property or hold it hostage until I give them more money and open an account with them.

I looked over my entire property, etc. and no package. Contacted FedEx regarding this issue and they stated the driver would have to re-track his steps to find my package and get it to me. I contacted them again the following week and no information was available, and they don't know where my package is.
As I was going to class I noticed my neighbor had a package on his porch and I was very sure it was mine. The FedEx driver didn't want to deliver my package because it weighed 50 pounds. I live on the third floor of an apartment building. The first "delivery attempt", he buzzed my apartment, then went straight back to the truck before I could answer. He left the package on the truck and said I wasn't home. After a bunch of phone calls, I finally reached someone who spoke English. He said my package would be delivered to my apartment door on the third floor the next day. I waited by the window, watching for him the next day so I could buzz him in immediately. I buzzed him in and he left the package right inside the main door and left.
After a bunch more phone calls, I was told he didn't want to bring it up the stairs and he "didn't have to". How do you expect a disabled woman to drag a 50 pound box up to the third floor? He had a dolly. He could have done it easily. So, after a bunch more phone calls I was able to reach someone I could halfway understand. He told me the driver would be back to bring the box up the stairs. He never came back. So my package is STILL sitting right inside the door at the bottom of the stairs.

If FedEx driver are supposed to be ninja, they are on a league of their own; but for delivery driver, they are the worst. Every single time I am home expecting a heavy package (a package worth my time waiting on) FedEx drivers would either ninja to my side door and leave a blank note saying nobody was home or just take it to the next level and leave the door tag in my mailbox. So either FedEx drivers think they have ESP-like power and determine if anyone was on from their truck or they are just too lazy to actually make the delivery.
I've been waiting in the living room (where the front door is) since 8 in the morning. I see that people here are also frustrated at FedEx. I suspect the problem lies on the fact that we are not FedEx's direct customers, FedEx's customer are the ones paying for their services, the online merchants. We the consumers just have to pressure the merchants to stop using FedEx (ask them to use other mean of shipping, or choose vendors offering options beside FedEx). Businesses typically don't response unless it affect their revenue.

Received a door tag stating what day my package would be delivered so I took the day and worked in my driveway until dark waiting for FedEx. Very important package so I asked two neighbors to text me if they see a FedEx truck so I could meet the driver at the driveway. No FedEx truck ever came through my neighborhood yet the driver listed me as attempt to deliver. With no new door tag it is pretty obvious that no attempt was made however the London hub does not require a door tag with each attempt so how do you hold your drivers accountable? FedEx is only as good as their drivers and not holding them accountable encourages them to lie. In London Ky FedEx drivers can sit alongside the road and sleep and then list customers as attempt to deliver and management will say nothing. From this point I will not deal with any business that uses FedEx to deliver. Management needs to be more involved with customer service.

All went fine and then I got the Bill - £170 for the whole process - Royal Mail would have done it for about £25. After complaining to them I was told that I put down 1KG and selected Priority Service. This means nothing to me and I feel like I've been truly ripped off. Not at any stage did they provide a quote or tell me how much this would be and then they just expect you to pay the bill afterwards. Customer Service is so poor - They told me I have to pay and I've told them they can go jump. Rude and only after your money!

The type of customer support I have received from FedEx in Houston, TX have ranged from very pleasant all the way to unbelievably unsatisfactory. To start with the positives: the 5 packages I have sent this past year have all made it to the recipients. Glad to be able to say that, but really, that's about all the positives there are. Oh, and there's that one time the person at the counter was actually smiling and very courteous, which was quite pleasant and a nice surprise. Continuing with the cons: I had issues with 3 of these 5 packages in some step of the shipment process. Let me elaborate...
At the beginning of this year, I tried to use a coupon I found off the FedEx website, a clearly advertised coupon right on the FedEx front page. It has the checkout code and everything right on the coupon, begging to be used by everyone. No problems to expect there right? Well, when I showed the coupon to the person checking me out, I was told that I needed a paper copy of it. Alright, never heard of that before, but I'll work with it. They can't just enter the code? (No). Okay, can they just print out a copy of the coupon from their own website then? (No.) Okay, they wanted me to screenshot a copy of the coupon on my phone and then email that screenshot image to them. Then they proceeded to print out that copy from their email and enter the checkout code. A what would have been 5 minutes of service ended up being 20 minutes. Okay, whatever...
Next mishap I encountered: I sent a package to a friend who lives in a clearly marked house on a street in a neighborhood. The shipment tracking information showed that the driver "could not locate the address" the first two or three times he "attempted delivery." A couple days later, I receive a call from FedEx asking for my friend's phone number. Eventually, the package got delivered. I'll just give them the driver the benefit of the doubt and say it's an honest try. But seriously! The address was easily locatable on google maps. If it was that difficult to deliver to such an easy destination, I wonder how FedEx ever gets their packages delivered! I better stop using FedEx while I still haven't lost any packages with them.
This last encounter is the needle that broke the camel's back: I sent a package to a friend in mid-June, and it is now October. I paid close to $30 at the counter for the shipping. A couple days ago (3+ months after the shipment), I received a bill from FedEx with a sheet of paper insert stating that they were "unable to bill the account for the party indicated, therefore we are invoicing you for the charges associated with this shipment." Yes, THREE months after the shipment, I received an invoice for a package I already paid for on the spot, with the "payment" due in 1.5 weeks.
I called the number for "Revenue Services" and went through layers and layers of options before I finally got an operator. Luckily, this operator was quite helpful in somehow realizing that I had already paid for this shipment and removed the charge. (I'll find out how true this is in a couple days). Well, it would be good for me to know what caused this error to occur, so I don't have to deal with this again. So, I proceed to ask, "Could you tell me why this happened?" Immediately after I finish asking this question, the person helping me just hangs up! He asked me for my question, and then just hung up on me after I asked it! I was in total disbelief that customer service could be so rude.
FedEx just lost another customer and whoever else I talk to about my encounters. There is no way I would recommend their services to anyone. My experiences with UPS and even USPS have been better than this! FedEx is far too expensive to have services worse than the more affordable mail carriers. To be honest, I'm not sure how FedEx is even in operation if customers cannot even trust them with the simplest of tasks.

Today 10/1 after 7 phone calls I'm informed that no they can't deliver after 4 PM. There is no one that can sign for this package. My neighbors are all at work as well. So much for them arranging service at my convenience.
My package has been held up since the 24th of September and I'm not in a position to travel to Harrisburg or Lancaster, PA to pick up this shipment. The last customer service rep was rude after I explained to him I've been told by 6 other reps that this package could be delivered after 4 PM. I've read some reviews and I have to say I relate 100% to all of them. Service in third world country are far better what FedEx is provided. My client paid for overnight delivery to Quebec from Ontario. It was supposed to be next day. It wasn't delivered. Then FedEx said they had issues at the terminal.
One agent said it was foggy. One agent said truck couldn't make due to traffic. Then FedEx decided to do their own thing, let us deliver even when the business are not open yet after I instructed for the package to be returned. They have been completely unhelpful and now told me that the only way to avoid the collection agency is to transfer the TVA to the recipient. So this now appears as a whole lot of logistics work for me when a return/repair item, originally manufactured in France should not be charged TVA duties at all as it is sent back for repair. It would be nice if someone from FedEx actually gave some assistance rather than threatening with the Debt Collection Agency as the first step.

If you can't find an address they can call a concern person to come and collect the package.
Finally, I have arranged to find an address of FedEx (what they have provided on their Web site as well as Google Maps are totally wrong). After searching for 2 hours finally found the location of the office. My Dad has collected the package and strictly informed me not to send any package via FedEx because it sucks in service. The driver arrived a little after 3 pm, then pulled away. Never came to the door. They marked my package as undeliverable customer not home. The second package was supposed to be here before 7 pm. Reason for review: failure to deliver in a timely fashion despite being paid for a service. I ordered 4 packages which were to be delivered via FedEx overnight. I paid over $200 for shipping for a total of ~$5,000 in merchandise. The following day, 3 out of 4 packages arrived. No phone call/e-mail (which I requested) once the merchandise arrived. I asked that it be delivered to the management office of my complex with a required signature... nope! They drop it off at my front door when I'm not home, no signature. $4,500 of supplies, left on my doorstep. Luckily, my management office was amazing enough to go get it and bring it to the office until I got home. That was fail #1.
As for the missing package (fail #2) - I follow up the evening of anticipated delivery and FedEx tells me it will still be there by 8pm as they are "delayed". Long story short, it never made it. At that point, they promise next day delivery (Saturday) because it had arrived at Massachusetts and they'd be driving it to Rhode Island tomorrow morning. They said they'd call me when the truck was en route. Never called. I follow up with them by 10am the next day- they said the truck left 8:28 am and they'd call me as soon as it arrives at the shipment building. I call at noon, then again at 2pm - no one knows where the truck went. It's then 4pm and no follow up (the FedEx in RI closes at 5pm). I call back, and I find out the truck never left Mass. They are going to deliver it Monday now.
No apology, no excuse as to why they can't communicate properly, no follow up throughout this entire process until I initiate the phone calls. This company needs to be seriously revamped because it has no accountability for its actions. They know they can always say "contact your shipper" if something goes wrong. In my profession if you don't do your job efficiently, people die. In the FedEx world, they can completely fail at life and still keep their jobs with no reprimand. The irony truly makes me shake my head in disgust.

I ordered my new phone and FedEx tried to deliver the package to me while I was at work. When I got home I got the door tag that said they could not deliver it. I tried to reroute online, but the system would not allow me to do so. So I called FedEx. They told me the package was scheduled to be delivered the next day at 11 AM. I told them that I would not be there because I worked during the day and that they should not come at that time. The customer service representative called the station and got back to me to say that the package would be delivered the next day at 5 pm. I received a call later that day and FedEx left a voice message that there were no drivers left to redeliver, which was not what the note was supposed to be. So the next day, despite their assurances during my call that the package would be delivered after 5 PM, the tried to deliver the package again at 11 AM, for which I was not there because I was at work, just as I said I was.
So I called FedEx back and explained the situation that the package was supposed to be delivered after 5 PM. Once again they called the station, and got back to me saying that the station understood the situation and would in fact deliver the package after 5 PM. After I left work early and made it home by 4 PM and waited for 2.5 hours for FedEx, I checked the tracking to discover that they tried to redeliver at 1:33 PM, which again is not after 5 PM. Once again I called customer service and they informed me that they could not help me and that all they could do was deliver on Monday at 11 AM while I was at work. I ask to speak to a Manager and they passed me off to a customer advocate who told me that FedEx could not deliver after 5 PM and that I was "misinformed".
Despite my repeated recounts of the events to the FedEx customer advocate she refused to provide any service. Her only statement was FedEx does not have drivers this late and that they could not do anything for me but deliver at 11 AM on Monday, when I was at work, or put it on hold at a facility that was an hour drive from me and I am sick and told them so. They would prefer customers who are sick drive a hour to pick up a package and expose their personnel than to attempt any type of satisfactory resolution. FedEx completely failed to adhere to their commitments to me on the phone, failed to attempt any resolution for me as a customer and was dismissive and unhelpful. I subscribed to the Blue Apron box meal service. They ship via FedEx ONLY and Friday is my delivery day. I live at the end of the FedEx route. This has been a problem since boxes containing perishable food rides around on a truck from before daybreak until as late as 7:45. And this is in the Alabama heat. I am easy to find since I live on a numbered street that is well marked. And I am the only house in my 9-digit zip code and the only house on my street. The problems come in when the drivers near the end of the day and it is raining, or cold, or hot, or whatever and they will just skip me and deliver on the next business day. The drivers openly tell me that they do this --- because FedEx keeps adding more deliveries without more time.
On Friday, 1/16/16 I was due a package. I was careful to be available so I would get it refrigerated quickly. By 8 PM, the box had not arrived. So I pulled up FedEx tracking and it had a delivery record showing it was delivered at 7:45 PM. I called FedEx and was told that it had been delivered, but as we were talking an additional entry was made saying that delivery was pending. The FedEx guy said that "no problem" that they would deliver it on Monday. I questioned why it was marked "delivered" when it obviously was not. The FedEx employee became belligerent and even more so when I questioned why there were two different entries for the package, one that had appeared during my call. I was called a liar and told that I was trying to pull a scam. He kept referring to people "like me" as nothing but trouble (I live in a mixed upper middle class neighborhood) and said he could cause me no end of trouble.
The next morning a FedEx driver showed up with the package which was wet, dripping and partially collapsed. Needless to say I refused the package --- this is the third time. And I cancelled my Blue Apron account. Not only did FedEx tracking show the package delivered the previous day, apparently this was told to Blue Apron who sent me an email saying that FedEx would keep the box frozen until it was delivered. The driver said this was untrue that it was just sitting behind her van in the warehouse.
But my cell phone had died last Thursday and I needed to buy a new one. I live in Tuscaloosa. FedEx tracking showed that the package reached Birmingham, about 40 miles away, on Sunday afternoon. I tried to retrieve the package from the local FedEx shipping point and was told that even though it was there and accessible and technically my property, someone had added instructions not to deliver it until Friday, 9/23. It appears that someone is making good on the threat to cause me problems. When I returned home from the FedEx office, my mail box had been knocked down. A neighbor said that it was a FedEx truck which seemed to be having trouble making a turn and backed into it in the process. FedEx denies that this happened.
An email was sent to their customer fraud site. FedEx cooked up a story that they had delivered it to the wrong house and had to pick it up. They now contend that they stored it in a non-existent freezer overnight. And that they had every right to hold any package coming to this address until the last possible contractual second --- 7:59 on the 5th business day. I do not have problems with either UPS or the USPS and my house is very visible, and the shipping address is correct. Throughout FedEx employees have refused to give their names or an identifier such as employee number.

I have been in contact with FedEx back and forth for the past 3 weeks. FedEx gouges on customs fees and presents fees when there is no reason to charge them in the first place. There are only two companies in the world that gouge customers to this extent - one being FedEx and the other being DHL. They have both been doing this for years based on the technicality of "there is no competition so we can get away with it". Luckily, such is no longer the case. From my experience it is best to use regular mail rather than FedEx or DHL for any small value international shipments. The much vaunted "service standards" for each are a bunch of hot air, as they are based on actual complaints received rather than on actual on-time deliveries, so you are paying extra for something that does not exist anyways. I was in the business and I know how these statistics are created. Using regular airmail will avoid the gouging and the headaches of dealing with same after the fact!

I paid a lot of money to have a package overnighted. After 2 days the package arrived at my local FedEx and I am told I can't even go pick up and not wait for delivery since they don't want to unpack the shipment. So when FedEx says overnight it really means 4 days. This package was super important for the day that I needed it and am now being told it will be delivered after that day. And when I expressed that was not ok and I really needed to go pick up, was told to have a nice day and basically hung up on. The package was an 8 years in the making and was needed for a once in a lifetime moment. So when you pay the most money possible to have it here overnight that's what that should mean... Not 4 days later! So disappointed and at all costs I will never use FedEx again!

The tracking number provided with my purchase stated the delivery was made to my door on 9/2 at a time when I was home and actually sitting with a window view to my front door. Box was never left -- no doorbell rang, nothing. I checked with the leasing office and it was not there either, so I filed a dispute in order to have the driver figure out where my package was. The driver confirms he dropped my package off, but when he describes the location where he left it, that is not my unit at all. He NEVER even dropped the box off anywhere near my door and now I am stuck in limbo between FedEx and the shipper. Disputing or doing the trace is completely ridiculous if it's just going to be my word that the box was NOT delivered and the driver who claims he dropped it off properly -- which is simply inaccurate.
There was nothing done to help me except an "I'm sorry." Now I have to provide my shipper with an alternative address, which is annoying because I work from home -- so now I have to go out of my way to give a relative's address and then drive to pick up my box all because the FedEx driver was lazy or didn't care that he wasn't in front of my unit when he left the package. I also don't appreciate that he's acting like he did his job when he even stated in the dispute that he left my box near another unit number.

Around 5:15 pm I noticed a FedEx truck fly by my residence, so I figured he would come back with my package which was said to be on the truck, out for delivery. The truck never came back. I checked the tracking again and it was indicated the package had been delivered at 5:11 PM. Left at front door. There was no package left at my residence, the truck did not stop. I made a call to FedEx to make a complaint and to see if the could contact the driver and have him backtrack. I got this fast talking employee that took my information, said someone would call me in 24 hours. I'm still waiting. My complaint sounds similar to several reviews I read, maybe THE BBB should look into the shady way FEDEX employees operate. If a box is address properly how can one not be deliver to its correct destination? They are ripping off the consumer.

They know who supposed to delivered it, and when confronted him he mentioned it was even delivered at that blue house, and I told him my house isn't even blue...they google my house and showed him. Then he said it was delivered to the wrong address. How could some have an address then leave a mail at totally different address. I was waiting for a delivery. I live in a locked apartment building, there is a sign - "deliveries at the back" because that door is usually open during the day. Three days the FedEx guy put the "Sorry we missed you" notice on the FRONT DOOR, right above the "deliveries at the back" sign. So, I called the national customer service because I live in traffic hell and I really did not want to go to another city to pick up the package and was trying to have it sent back. They refused to send it back and were extremely rude acting like I was an awful person for not camping out in my front yard in 90+ degree weather for an entire day to catch the delivery guy and making me feel like I am a pest and a liar (I was doing this through the company that I made the order from, so their customer service rep, who was extremely polite was handling the conversation).
When I asked for it to be sent back, the FedEx customer service rep started yelling at me that they made three attempts to deliver, that they were done helping me and that wanting my package was my problem, not theirs. My main issue is just the rudeness. I get delivery people are underpaid and it's frustrating but there is no reason a national customer service should be treating customers like they are bad people for missing deliveries or for asking for information. I avoid using FedEx at all costs. I would rather sit at the DMV or get a root canal than have to deal with this mess again.

FedEx delivered it to the wrong house -- the number was a huge difference. At 10AM, and the owner of the house it was delivered to came and told us it was left at their house by mistake. We called FedEx at around 1:30 and told them about the issue, and they said since it was a total of over 100 pounds they'd send a truck to pick it up and deliver it to the right address.
By 3:30, we still didn't have the packages, so we called again and they said they'd have a truck out by 5:30. Early Tuesday morning, I called FedEx to complain and inquired when my package will arrive; I was assured that I will get it between 8 AM and 8 PM. I complained that I'd rather not spent the whole day for FedEx and the FedEx girl suggested that I sign door tag and repost it on my door. Which I did. Furthermore, I cancelled and/or re-arrange my errands for the day to wait for the package which never came.
This morning, 8/29/16, I called FedEx again, to complain and check the status of my package and I was told a supervisor will called me back within two hours to update me. With a Sony pre-paid printing label in hand. I approach the FedEx counter as the FedEx clerk calls me forward saying: "Hello sir, how can I help you?" As I had the clerk my prepaid Sony printing label I say in response to this question: "I have a Sony dvd player to go back to Sony electronics and a prepaid printing label." I continued by asking him about the cost of the boxes that were on display. He says to me "well those boxes may not be big enough. I have one here in the back." He goes back and brings out a box. He takes my DVD player and put it in the Box he had retrieved from behind the counter and this is where the confusion began.
Scene 2 FED EX STORE WITH CLERK. After looking on his computer screen he says: "I cannot locate Sony electronics name so we can Bill them for your package." The confused look I answered back "well what do you mean you can't bill them. Here is the printing label?" Clerk: "I'm sorry sir I cannot locate the name of the organization that I am to bill for this package. Sony electronics is not named here as one of the parties will accept responsibility for this package." I look at the printing label and I look at the email that Sony has sent me to see if there were any other names that I could give him that he may have on his computer so we can bill for the package. Finding one name I give it to him and sure enough that name there was not located it as well.
Puzzled and somewhat frustrated because my wife is in the hospital and I took 10 minutes to spin off to the FedEx station to get this package out because you were looking forward to getting a replacement DVD player for the one we had purchased six months earlier had broken and Sony said they would send us a new one. So I called Sunny and spoke with representative. After a few moments he was just as puzzled and confused as I was and I said "could you please speak to the clerk" as I handed the clerk the phone that worked up the phone and he position does upside down and kept saying "hello-hello hello!"
Taking the sound back from the clerk the Sony representative could not answer my question. He said "let me contact the billing department." So Sony wanted to contact their billing department to find out what was going on. At that time the clerk said "don't worry about it. We'll just send a package out for free no big deal" but having an understanding of money and its importance to manage well I was eager to make sure that FEDEX got paid for their package and I said: "No sir let me just just hold on a minute. I want to get you your money for the package etc etc..."
But realizing that waiting for Sony in their billing department probably more confusion as my wife waits for my return as she's in the hospital; So I took the clerk's offer of the free package and I said to the FedEx Clerk: "well let's do it that way please." Taking the package he readies the tape and I noticed there's no packing material inside to protect to DVD player from any harm due to shipping as it was the DVD player would just be bouncing around and probably wind up in worse condition and I said to him: "sir could you please put some packing material in the Box?" He replied: "well I'm really not supposed to do this but ok."
Final Scene. Recap. Once again I had come up to the counter I asked him: "how much was the box that was on display?" He said that "the box might not be the size you're looking for so he grabbed one from behind the counter, took my DVD player, put it in the Box without any packing material tape in hand ready to close it. Danny said I cannot find the organization to bill for the Package. So after putting some packing material and he brings out the taste and we get into a little sad but I caution and I come to find out that I had been wasting all this precious time. I repeat. I left my wife to spend on the year. He grab the DVD player, put it in a box and when he said "I don't know what the bill for this package" he was talking about the cost of grabbing my DVD player for my hand putting it in the Box without packing material and pick it up. You paid doing that there's a cost of $10 for that. Yes folks $10.
I put my DVD player and a box and tape it up. This is absolutely ludicrous. It's pathetic. It's scam. It's so pathetic I want to puke right now. Just talking about it it makes me angry. It makes me sick that the company would steal from me and probably the other hundred thousands if not millions of people older people, younger people who may not be too concerned or understand or have those with say why why why am I paying $10 for you to put the DVD player in a box and tape it. Why am I working 45 minutes or maybe even more than an hour for you to do that but that's simple. Are you kidding me America. Are you kidding me FedEx. Somebody do something about this RIPOFF.

The problem I have is that my package was left on my doorstep in the pouring rain for 6 hours. From 1430hrs, when it hadn't arrived yet and I had to go to work, to 2100hrs when I came home to see it soaked and, to top it off, crushed into my door step.
The items I ordered are not supposed to be out in the rain, humidity, heat, etc. I would have expected my package, if not able to be delivered, to be returned to a local FedEx location so that I may at least pick it up myself - or it could have been sent for re-delivery. The last thing I expected was for it to be crushed and completely soaked through from being left in the rain. Luckily the company from which I ordered has excellent customer service and will replace my items if need be. I am disappointed in your company, and do not see a reason for such error. I would appreciate better quality customer service and delivery in the future.

She then stated that she could not contact the driver directly, but she could put a request in for a pick on that day - however, she needed to give the driver at least two hours for the pickup (so approximately 6:30 PM). I told her that I was sure someone would still be here and that was fine. Thursday morning, I arrived at my office at 8:00 AM and the FedEx envelope was still sitting on the front desk. I immediately called them, and Vicky in Customer Support told me (after several minutes because she could not locate my confirmation number) that the driver arrived at 4:30, but our offices were closed. NOTE that our office door is always open until the cleaning crew leaves (approx. 9:00 PM) and "they" lock the doors at that time.
These people are idiots. My theory is that, after they find out they screwed up royally, they immediate come up with ANY excuse to cover it up! In this "one" instance, they made three mistakes and lied three times (that I had told them that we were open 24 hours... after calling them a second time that the driver would arrive at 6:30... and that the driver showed up at 4:30, but our office was closed). I will never use FedEx again unless I absolutely have to. I would love to contact the regional office and speak with someone higher up, but my time is too valuable to deal with these morons any longer.

On 27th July, 2016 I had created priority overnight delivery package for official document and had dropped off the package by 2:30-3PM time slot in office area where FedEx facility is present (FedEx facility address: 100 Century Court, San Jose, CA). Package did not get picked up till 4th August, 2016. Online service shows online label creation on 27th July 5PM as per FedEx however I had created label by afternoon 2PM itself and was waiting on my package to be picked up on same day for 4:30PM pickup. Not even next day but whole week delayed happened to pick up package which had urgent official document. Although I had requested email notifications on delivery, I did not get single email even after package delivered on 5th August, 2016.
FedEx online service is absolutely pathetic. I would recommend go to UPS to have such things done rather than wasting couple of hours on call to find out where is gap. They do not provide refund by referring to some reasoning which is absolutely unbelievable. It was very clear in my situation that FedEx delayed picking up package where they should be doing it every day at some interval. Fedex Sucks!!!

I paid a ton of extra money for two day delivery on thursday morning for an item purchased from newegg, which was processed and put in the hands of fedex by thursday noon - I checked the fedex website where they proudly state that 90% of their locations deliver on saturday for a bunch of services including FedEx 2Day (like USPS or UPS) unlike their competition (which they obviously just lied about) which gets it their sooner.
I easily would have paid another 20 dollars to have had it for the weekend for my nephew - but this company is **, my updates have been updated in 3 days and it looks like I'll be receiving my package on monday ruining the weekend for my nephew. BS company, and newegg is terrible too for using them. Never using fedex or newegg again. Amazon take the cake. Looking at the reviews for fedex and ups it's obvious how these companies operate. We don't have a choice so they dont care whether or not we like their services.

The FedEx driver required to delivery in North Clarksville coming from 1750 Jardco Dr is an outright LIAR and the supervisor at the hut is as lying and unconcerned as the driver. Wednesday, Aug 3, 2016 a driver LIED indicating that he delivered a package to a residential address @ 1:50 pm. I received email confirmation from the shipper indicating the package had been delivered. However @ 1:50 pm it was a complete THUNDER STORM with heavy winds and all.
The thunderstorm lasted at least until after 4 pm! I knew the driver had lied because of several reasons: 1. The thunderstorm and no driver wants to get and do their job in conditions like this although that is what they get paid to do; 2. The driveway is a walking distance from the porch of the home so he would have to get out and get soaked; 3. The house is a freaking in home day care and there were people in the home. The driver lied indicating that the package was left on the porch however there was no door tag or anything. The only reason I was notified is because the shipper did so.
I called to report the LIES and was told the claim could take up to 48 hours for review. This was so unacceptable. I checked with neighbors on both sides and in front to make sure the package wasn't delivered to them. It had not been. Then, after the close of business or right before the close of business (AFTER THE RAIN STOPPED AND THE COMPLAINT HAD BEEN FILED) this lying ** came pulling back up to drop the package off. Please explain to me how you can pull up and drop off a package that you claimed had been delivered already? Two days later the supervisor from the hub called me to say the driver must have just delivered it to the one of the neighbors in error.
I explained to her that I had already spoken with the neighbors and that was a lie as well. If he did not want to do his job because he is too freaky lazy or due to the weather he should have stayed at home for the day. Had I not received the confirmation from the shipper FedEx would have gone on with the lie trying to insinuate the package had been delivered and left without a signature. I explained to the supervisor that there was no way the driver had delivered that package. She stated that the driver gave her a description of the house in which the package was left.
Again I asked how could he have left the package at the house if he pulled back up with it when he delivered it. The only thing the supervisor did was to continue to make excuses for the driver. This is horrible service. I have contacted the shipper to inform them that I will no longer do business with them if they are going to use FedEx as their carrier. I would not recommend FedEx to anyone. If you want your packages you had better find another way to get them because for all I know this driver could have been trying to steal my package. FedEx is known for hiring criminals anyway.
This is not the first time I have had an issue with this Jardco Drive location. Once before about 3 years ago a driver lied indicating he had delivered a package to me that was never delivered. It contained a $10,000 settlement check. I literally went in the office and REFUSED to leave until the driver came back to the station to obtained my package. They are horrible, unprofessional, lazy, and a bunch of lying bums. I am NOT happy with them at all. I don't have a receipt for my package to add to this review because one was never provided but I do have a tracking number.

I ordered a laptop a week ago and the package arrived yesterday needing a signature. However, I was unable to sign since I was at work so I called customer service so they would hold it at the facility after work so I could grab it. I go to the facility (1 hour away from where I live) to get the package, but I get there and they say there is a special restriction on it so they can't touch it. I call customer service again and they say they will hold it for pickup the next morning.
The next day, I take the time out of my work day to drive out in the morning to grab it. Upon arrival they tell me to wait in the car and that they will check because there is a chance that it left on a truck. After wasting an hour of time sitting there, I finally told them to have it ready for me that afternoon to pick up after work since I had to go back to work. Still have no idea if I will get the package today. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN AT WORK WHEN THEY DELIVER EVERY TIME??? Their system is completely flawed and requires a much better solution for customer like me who work 9-5 jobs.

So I have given this company a lot of latitude. I understand the difficulties in finding a house or apartment you are scheduled to visit. I also have some close friends who work for Fedex and one who is pretty high up in the company. My wife doesn't work and she homeschools our kids, so there is always someone home. For several years, across three areas I have been on the receiving end of Fedex's business. Almost 80% of deliveries I get through Fedex becomes problematic. Calling them with a dispute is pointless. Expecting the delivery driver to ring a doorbell is like pulling teeth. I have had numerous things delivered to a neighbor, left out in the rain, left at the roadside by my or my neighbors mailbox, and signature required deliveries mysteriously signed for yet never delivered.
For this latest fiasco we were justifiably concerned when Walmart only allowed Fedex for rush packages. We paid for faster delivery in the hopes it would make it before a birthday. Paid for next day delivery 7 days out from the birthday. Walmart drag their feet in shipping a bit, but the tracking of the package stated "picked up" 4 days prior to the date we needed it before. So 3 days to make it through their system until it finally showed out for delivery. The problem is it kept saying "on the truck for delivery for 4 more days."
Now on a Saturday a few days after I needed it, the tracking showed it was delivered. Surprise, surprise, nothing was at my front door, around my mailbox, or on my carport. Walked the street and happened to notice a large box sitting out in one of my neighbors driveways right after a rainstorm today that looked like it may be ours. Or neighbors were not home but not wanting it to get any more damaged in the rain that was threatening, we looked at the label and yep, it was ours.
Now understand that I have been made in the past to pay for shipping a second time due to Fedex refusing to address their drivers not delivering things to us. Usually in those cases I call the local FedEx hub and request them hold the packages and I go and pick it up. I go out of my way, spend my time and gas money to complete the job they are paid to do in most cases. Once we had some fairly expensive electronics shipped through Fedex only to have them refuse the loss claim because they said they had my signature on the receipt. I asked to see this receipt which they could not produce due to a "computer error".
At least the online stores usually will work with you when Fedex fails. I have had this happen in Northern Mississippi, Southern Mississippi, and now South Central Louisiana. Out of those three the North Mississippi guys seemed to at least try, usually leaving things on my neighbors carport (which happened to be my parent's house so not as big a deal). The Southern Mississippi guys are the ones who committed forgery and leaving things just anywhere, and the ones here in Baton Rouge just can't seem to find the right house or get things under an overhang.

Also my wife and I were both sitting where we could see the driveway and the time the driver supposedly tried to deliver the package.
I called the office in Wentworth Ga, where the package was coming from. And my wife called the main FedEx office. Neither one of them would do anything. What is really upsetting is the driver lied. He didn't try to deliver the package and FedEx didn't care that they have dishonest drivers. Other companies would have contacted the driver and made him deliver the package, but not FedEx. I am very disappointed how FedEx is ripping off their customer for international shipping. I ordered a small package from US. Only $90 + $66 shipping, papers all OK. Under 100$ no extra custom duties. When the package arrived FedEx charged me again $65 for clearance. After many complaints, one of the staff explain to me that the value of the package ($90) is too less so FedEx Broker Service added the $66 shipping charges to the value of the goods (total $156) so the value of $100 exited the free custom duties, and they charge me the same amount for shipping again. So I have to paid Clearance Tax for the FedEx freight cost. This is clearly a ripoff from FedEx. I also will take further actions on this.

Now it seems to me that they would still deliver the package or return it to me but I never got anything but a "screw you." To me it seems like straight up theft as the package was never delivered or returned and they never even returned what I paid to ship the item. If he even bothered for a few seconds to knock on door, anyone in my family could have answered and checked during anytime. My package wouldn't have been stolen. He walks away after reaching down. Tracking showed he left pkg at 11:31 (same time on our camera). No pkg. Waited to call FedEx 5:00. Opened case, they stated they would contact driver. Called 3 hrs later (as they said they would call 2 hrs later but never heard from them). Still no change on the tracking info according to operator. "Somebody will call you tomorrow." No call.
I called noon the next day. Operator stated it was delivered today at 11:16. Yes, it's on my porch. Our street address is actually crossed out on mailing label. Something else written next to it but then that is crossed out also. Operator stated that driver left it at a wrong address and went back to retrieve it. Ok, then why was he at my door on Weds appearing to put something down on porch? We had no other pkgs that day, but he is clearly on my camera. Thursday, tracking report changed and shows he did not come here Weds, (shows 6:36 a.m. it was on FedEx truck, no other activity after that for Weds). Current tracking report shows pkg was delivered Thursday. Shows "retrieved shipment" at 11:15 a.m., and 11:16 a.m. was "left at my front door." I called their customer service and they told me someone called and asked that the delivery be moved to the 13th. I told them no one called. 13th came and went and I checked the website that night and it stated incorrect address need additional information and I needed to call. This time I called Amazon and they were very polite. Meanwhile I got an email from Fedex customer service stating the package is being held and that I need to verify the address, which I did. Morning of the 14th the website showed out for delivery. It is now 5 pm on the 14th and the package just arrived as I was writing this review. The driver was a very polite young man in a FedEx truck. When I questioned him if he had this package for the last 3 days he told me it was given to him just today and that it previously had been on another route. Since he was driving a company truck and wore their uniform I got the impression he worked directly for them and appeared honest and sincere. He apologized for the trouble and said that he did know of a contract driver that they had issues with in the past but that he has been gone for a year. I told him I think you now have his twin brother.
Together we checked the address and he said he had no issue with it and came straight to me. Nevertheless I had a similar experience a few years ago with FedEx and a damage issue with their freight and it is no more FedEx for me. I have better things to deal with than lying drivers and customer service people that want to give you a runaround. In order to receive a package that required a signature I waited a day beyond the scheduled delivery day, then the package traveled 200 miles round trip to return to my location the next day. After 40 minutes on the phone with their "customer service rep." the corporate secret was released that for an addition fee I could receive the packed the following day, after 5 pm when I would be home, another wasted 200 miles of travel for my package.
When I arrived at home the next afternoon early the FedEx driver would not release the package until 5pm, requiring the driver to waste 2 1/2 waiting in my driveway to release the package. After pleading for 30 minutes and being put on hold for 10 minute a district manager informed me that the package could not be released until 5 pm because that is the company's policy. What a waste of my time and the driver's resources, clearly the contract that was not negotiated between the drive and the non-union FedEx corporation show the inefficiencies of this market relationship. FedEx shipping procedures are for the good of FedEx profit margins only.
I call FedEx byzantine because it reminds me of the rigidly bureaucratic top down system that allowed a dead 4th century Byzantine emperor to rule for several months after he was dead. Listening to a district manager tell me that a package could not be released for 3 hours though I was standing only feet away was like reading proclamations to a dead emperor as though the reality of his passing could not be acknowledged because of a inane concrete hierarchical decision making process. Fedex clearly operates in a market economy that favors its relationship with the shipper and not its drivers of receivers of packages. If it was truly an efficient expediter (as it district manager claims) it would acknowledge the waste in the system that is being unfairly borne by its non-union drivers and the receiver of the package that FedEx admittedly does not consider a customer... gotcha capitalism at its worst!

I will never never use Fedex again and will spread this story with everyone I know. They will lose more in the long run that's for sure.

I paid additional money to have an item delivered by 10:30 am on July 11, 2016. At approximately 8:40 AM a driver pulled into my driveway and turned around by my house without getting out of his vehicle. According to tracking they had tried to deliver two different days prior but a notice was never left. I assume he was too lazy to get out of his vehicle to leave the notice. I end up finding out that my order had been delivered to the mall. FEDEX was no help in resolving this matter at all. As far as I am concerned their delivery is the worst.

I sent package in the Philippines. Charged with $$ amount for shipment. I found out they also charged the person in the Philippines with ridiculous amount. They said item will be delivered 4-5 business days which did not happen. They failed to disclose that the consigned person will pay in said country. The broker here said no extra fee yet they held the item for very long since they asked the person there to produce documentation that she does not have instead of communicating to their office here in Canada. I hope their Customs or head office will pay attention to this.

Now we are on July 8th and has not been delivered yet. They ruined the whole gift surprise to the people I am sending to. My package was in France for 3 days and then was sent to Ukraine for 4 days and was shipped back to France for 3 days and spent 1 day in Spain and finally made it to Morocco last Tuesday. We are on Friday 8th and I called them this morning and they told it will be delivered on Monday. Last time I am using them. I will stick with USPS.

2:59 pm: Delivered. 2:54 pm: Delivery exception. Retrieved shipment. 5:22 am: On FedEx vehicle for delivery. 5:01 am: At local FedEx facility. NEVER RECEIVED PACKAGE. My package was allegedly ORIGINALLY delivered at 10a.m. The driver then picked the package ("retrieved shipment") because he "misdelivered it" and then almost 5 hours later at 2:59 p.m., he "redelivered it to the right location". The driver also put that my package was signed for... Well, he put that it was signed for by my "Patio" and I don't even have a patio.
FedEx said they were waiting to hear back from the driver to see where he delivered it to. They informed me that the drivers have 5-7 days to follow up with these claims. The driver NEVER contacted them. They said it was still under review. The case was closed and they denied my claim even though the driver did not respond to the case.
So I do not have my package. Maybe the driver noted that he redelivered it but really he just stole it. It was merchandise from Barneys. He knows the company would trust him so he just put that 5 hours later he "redelivered it" and kept the package for himself. I was there when the update sent to me saying it was delivered and I called FedEx immediately saying that my package was not there. Maybe he delivered it to the right place the first time and redelivered it to the wrong place the second time.
I only got the immediate update delivery notification for the 2:59pm delivery, I was never notified of the 10am delivery. But FedEx shows AND explained on the phone that the driver misdelivered at 10am and redelivered at 2:59pm. Whatever the case, the story on their end doesn't add up especially that the driver never followed up with his own company like it isn't his responsibility or something. Or FedEx just doesn't care and it was not urgent for them to make sure their drivers are following up with these claims.
Thanks a lot for not being able to do anything about the packages YOU deliver, and thanks a lot for making sure your driver NEVER followed up with my claim. Thanks a lot for closing my case and DENYING IT (Whoever the person sitting at their desk is that stamped a denial on it since they trust their driver so much that my nonexistent "PATIO" must have signed for my sunglasses). Thanks that all you have to offer is "I'm sorry ma'am but there's isn't anything we can do on our side, you have to call the place you ordered from and dispute the charge with your credit card company." Does your drivers info not sound the slightest bit fishy to you, especially not contacting his company to say his part of his delivery story??? WHATEVER. Obviously not using FedEx anymore unfortunately.

We don't have an electronic doorbell at our house, but we do have a LARGE brass bell next to our door and a BIG sign that says: "Ring Bell LOUDLY." Today we were expecting a very important, very expensive package. We rearranged our schedule to be here for the package delivery. Two of us were home and in different parts of our house; we could have easily heard the bell. Imagine our surprise when we opened the front door to find FedEx's paper slip of attempted delivery (15 MINUTES EARLIER) but "customer not available." WTF? The delivery person did not ring the bell, nor, apparently, even knock very hard on the door and split within just a few seconds, taking our much anticipated, much needed package. We immediately called FedEx to see about turning that guy around, meet him somewhere, or at least be able to pick up our package later this evening at a distribution center. We were told "No," on all three counts.
The service rep said that it was a "contracted" delivery person and that there was no way to get in touch with the driver because "they are not supposed to carry phones with them." WTF? Well then, what about picking the package up at a FedEx center? No can do, the rep explained. Such contracted drivers take undelivered packages home with them in their vans. WTF? My rare and expensive package is sitting God knows where in someone's van overnight? WTF? At every turn in our experience the service was PATHETIC. 1) Obviously the driver was too rushed to concern about Priority No. 1 - the customer, 2) It is incredulous that FedEx drivers, any drivers, cannot be contacted immediately? 3) Contract drivers taking undelivered packages home to likely totally unsecured locations? If this is FedEx's standard operating procedures, NO THANK YOU, I won't be doing further business with them.

After 42 minutes of holding, I was told that they had the wrong zip code and had tried to contact me multiple times to find the correct information, to no avail. They refused to deliver the package after three failed attempts. Yet, when I looked up the shipping information that they were given, the zip was correct, and the phone was also correct. In other words, FedEx dropped the ball on this one and wanted to blame errant info -- seems to be their standard mode of operation. This is my last bad experience with FedEx. There are other options.

I have used FedEx Delivery Manager for the past couple of years b/c I place lots of online orders so I get lots of packages delivered to my house. Recently I tried to change my address b/c I have moved. The FedEx website would allow me to change my address in one place but not the address to which packages are to be sent. Instead I got an Error 1000. My husband, who has had a FedEx Delivery Manager account almost as long as I have, tried to make the same address change and got the same result.
This is not the first time I have had problems w/ the FedEx website. About a year ago, I logged in and requested a change of delivery date b/c I was going to be out of town when something was to be delivered. The website accepted the change, but I started getting email notices that the driver had attempted to deliver the package on the original date. I called my local FedEx and was told that they NEVER receive any notification when changes like that are made online. In other words, making that kind of request on the website is useless b/c it will NEVER be communicated to the local office which is responsible for customer's deliveries.
I don't know if FedEx will read this review or if they do read it, whether they will care to do anything to correct the problem. I found numerous online complaints by people who have had the same experience with the FedEx website. Surely FedEx has read a few of these complaints, but nothing seems to have been done to date to resolve the problems. Perhaps the FedEx website is functional for business customers but not for residential ones. If that is the case, then why even bother to offer residential customers the FedEx Delivery Manager option?
In short, FedEx has a dysfunctional website. It appears that the company does not care enough to hire IT staff who are capable of changing the program to make it usable. Too bad they don't take a lesson from UPS which offers a similar service. The only difference is the UPS service WORKS. For that reason, whenever I make a purchase which is to be delivered, I request that the merchant use UPS instead of FedEx. Perhaps if more people did the same thing, it might grab the attention of FedEx b/c nothing else has.

After filing 2 complaints and several phone calls with FedEx you think a supervisor will call to apologize or to make sure the customer gets their packages!! I was supposed to get an overnight delivery, I took off from work to wait since they gave me a tracking number and an estimated time of delivery which was 8pm. The driver's claims that on the first try I was unavailable, there was no door tag, didn't ring the doorbell even though he knew this is an apartment building and in order to get in someone has to buzzed the in!!
I call FedEx. Within 10 minutes of the so call attempts they couldn't get a hold of the driver that the next day they will try again between 10am-2pm. Again I take off from work to wait, driver claims they attempted at 2:30. I called at 2:45. I was asked by my contact info, they were going to see if they can get the driver to turn before going into the center to park, no response. I call back at 4pm. Another representative ask me the same questions again. I waited. I called at 5pm (all of this the same day, now this is day number 2). That representative takes my information. Their system states that they are trying to get the driver but is unresponsive. They call the site to speak to a supervisor. All supervisors are not onsite!! Now I am beyond annoyed and frustrated. File a complaint that night, there is nothing they can do!

So I sold some items on eBay. Went to go ship them, checked out all my shipping options. Selected FedEx due to the fact they were 8 cents cheaper than USPS. (Even though I would have to drive 20 mins to drop it off at their building. Was quoted the same price in store rate as well as the online rate. Printed my labels and dropped them off at your store.
Then a month later, I check eBay and FedEx charge me after the fact over 200% the price quoted to me. Contacted FedEx, they agreed they should refund me but since I paid through eBay they had no way to refund me directly. So I filed a complaint with the BBB regarding the scam they pulled on the shipping charges. (Keep in mind had I just paid in the store. There would have been no way for them to try and charge me twice the amount later.) Received a response FedEx saying "that shipping charge is just an estimate and that they can actually charge you whatever they want after the fact”. (For example what if the truck did not have any parcels that day it would cost me more because the truck still had to do the route.)
SO in other words this company quotes you a rate just under USPS to rope you into picking them and then later charging you twice as much as you agreed. BAIT AND SWITCH ALLLL DAY, not to mention they continuously change the delivery day as they push-off your package on trucks later and later but that is just a whole different type of scam they pull (not complaining about that one - just the fact that they scammed me on shipping charges). I have a FedEx account. I needed to send a package today by noon. I took it to the FedEx hub at the airport. My receipt said $65.91 and I was not told it may be more when I get my bill. When I got the bill it was $87.63. I disputed the amount and received an email that the dispute was denied due to correct pricing. There is no option to dispute this or contact anyone else. I will be calling by phone tomorrow. The breakdown on the new bill is: 76.37 transportation charges; 11.26 special handling charges. On the receipt at the bottom it says "Subject to additional charges. See FedEx Service Guide at fedex.com for details..." ...which I did and read everything in it that applied to what I sent and the area I sent it to and I paid upfront for deliver services.
So unless FedEx charges extra for having an account and penalizing you for billing, I cannot see what applies. I shipped a painting, to a business. It was not in an out of way area. It was not unusually heavy. It was a regular box. The business was open. Anyone could accept the package there. I will NEVER use FedEx for shipping again! I do not understand how you can ship with them, pay extra at the airport for what you are shipping to make sure it gets there in time, and then be sent a bill for a much larger amount. Maybe companies with billing do not pay attention to the receipt they are getting and then just pay the bill when it comes. NO OTHER shipping carrier does this! I don't go to the post office, pay for something to ship and then get a bill later with no explanation as to why.
Is FedEx charging for the drivers lunch? I don't know. What a scam. Nowhere do I know where this is acceptable. How can they not know how much to charge you for shipping when you take the package yourself to their hub at the airport, have them measure and weigh it? And, how can they not tell you when you take it there that "Oh, by the way, you are going to get a bill that may be much higher than what I am quoting you now"? Do they honestly think the people would not walk out the door and go to another shipper? Is that why it is printed at the bottom of the receipt? I will be closing my FedEx account tomorrow!

The South Jersey location I shipped from originally (the damage occurred on the return trip) in fact told me I didn't need a box since my suitcase was hardshell and sturdy.
FedEx is encouraging people to use their luggage shipping service and not adequately informing people of the conditions under which they will and will not take responsibility for suitcase damage. Otherwise they would keep my property forever or until I die. So I paid the extortion fee. They called it duty and taxes. So the best way to get a package to Uganda, is to fly it yourself, on a trip there in your luggage or the best way is to send it with someone going there who's a Uganda citizen. The workers are foreign, and are clueless or limitless on what they are able to do. The promise made to me point a-z was an empty promise.

I ordered an item and received shipment details for FedEx. The tracking detail showed it should be delivered on 6/1. As of 6/4 they still have not delivered the package although it was on the truck for delivery on 6/1 and 6/2. Status said "delivery not attempted." So on 6/2, when it hadn't arrived by 8pm, I changed delivery to pick up myself at FedEx/Kinko's since I figured the driver could find that location. I also called FedEx on 6/3. I was told the package needed "a label update" and would be delivered on 6/4. Once again, no delivery to the FedEx/Kinko's today...
I contacted FedEx again tonight because I received no notifications today that my package was available for pick-up. Now the tracking details show an expected delivery of 6/7... When I called I was told that now the package is "in inventory." None of the explanations make sense to me given the package was on the truck for delivery since 6/1. See attached screenshot for tracking history. I'm concerned that something has happened to my order and I may not receive it. I didn't have the option to pick up at store but if this is a common experience for FedEx then I wouldn't trust them to deliver in the future. Most companies don't tell you who they contract for delivery which is disappointing.

Packages received via FedEx have been consistently late over the last several years. More recently, I have been tracking a shipment since the package was sent on 05/27/16. After a day the tracking information estimated that the package would arrive a day late on the 4th of June. Now the tracking info indicates that it will arrive 3 days late on June 6th. I called FedEx customer service to ask about the delay and was told that shipments are not guaranteed by the estimated date for ground shipments.
I asked for my feedback to be passed to a higher level and the FedEx CSR said that information is periodically reviewed and seemed to indicate that mine would be as well. Unfortunately the company I bought the product from only had an option for ground shipping (though apparently expedited shipping is available via their webstore but I didn't see an option on eBay). I did send feedback to the eBay seller via their customer service email system to let them know about the delay.

I had ordered something online & the company used FedEx as their carrier. It was standard shipping, so I expected it within a week or so, give or take since it was coming from California & I live in New York. The package took almost a month to arrive. I was tracking it all the while with the number & the updates were so few & far in between that I thought it might have been lost after two weeks. A few days after I had ordered this package, I also ordered something else from another company that used UPS. That package also was shipping from California, yet that package arrived 4 or 5 days after it had shipped, despite me ordering it after this package that had yet to arrive. I contacted FedEx multiple times about the status of my package to which I got no response. The tracking info updated every couple of days & my projected delivery date kept changing & being pushed back farther & farther.
I'm not impatient, I know stuff happens & I know how long a package usually takes to get from one place to another, but near a month is ridiculous. As the tracking info updated there was also one point where it was in NJ & then it went to a town in PA that was farther away than where I lived & then it went to someplace in CT. Why?? I went to the Better Business Bureau with a complaint & got a stupid letter in the mail from FedEx in response that "estimated delivery dates" are just that, estimated, meanwhile this stupid person is clearly ignoring the obvious that it shouldn't take that long for a package from California to New York to be delivered & why on earth is the package being transferred to places more out of the way than going to me?? I wish I hadn't let it slide but pushed it farther with the BBB cause this was horrible service & it shows how much they care about their job or business.

What happened to Friday, Saturday (end of Saturday would have marked the 2-day delivery period). I see trucks delivering on Saturday and then of course there was still Tuesday. I have been tracking my package for about five days and finally it arrived my city. I was so happy that I can finally do my homework on my new laptop this holiday weekend. I got home from work and met a Door tag from FedEx stating they attempted to deliver my package but no one was home. It also stated another attempt will be made the next day so I asked my wife to please stay home and receive the package on my behalf.
To my surprise, she called to tell me FedEx never showed up but said they tried to deliver the package and no one was home and left another Door tag. But the thing is someone was home and there was no Door tag but on their website, it stated the package was scanned attempted and there is a Door Tag number. I called FedEx customer care and they couldn't provide a solution. Now, they are saying I have to wait till 2nd of June before they will attempt to deliver the package again.
This is so disappointing and the worst customer service I have experienced in recent time. You will think; with all their charges, they provide exceptional service but the truth is they lie about your package and they do very little to make sure you receive your item on time. It is a very large sum for me and I cannot just forget about it. I spoke to numerous FedEx employees but not yet received professional response. This level of service is expected from some no-name bodega around the corner but not Federal Express. Your company switched tracking numbers and was unable to provide any information about the lost package from 3/25/16 until 4/21/16. Your company didn't collect signature upon delivery despite it was requested. As a result PayPal unable to verify merchandise receipt by seller (recipient) and issue refund of $4,905.00 to me. I didn't do anything wrong, why should I lose money?
At this point please do what's right and either issue payment of $4,905.00 that otherwise would be paid by PayPal upon proper delivery of the package with signature confirmation or provide signature confirmation from the seller proving that he received package so we could reattempt to resubmit claim through PayPal.

Didn't even bothered to wait a few more seconds.
The package had to be picked up. I got her best friend to pick it up at the nearby FedEx place. I hate that I had to bother people for it. They ruined my plan! She had a hunch I was sending her something. In fairness to them, the way it was packaged, was good. The scrub suit was not wrinkled and the bear was not deformed. I personally NEVER use FedEx but I am subjected to by companies who think FedEx actually knows how to deliver packages in a professional, courteous, timely manner. Oh this latest delivery really takes the cake. I ordered a very expensive item from a company who will remain nameless. I paid a ridiculous amount in shipping to said company. I did not know FedEx was their 'choice' delivery company. I receive an early notice the item had shipped (YAY!) because this particular item isn't suppose to ship for anyone until June. Lucky me, right! I decided to work from home on delivery. The tracking info said it would be delivered at the latest 8 pm.
After work, decided to check the tracking info, it says they tried delivering at 2 pm. Well that can't be? I was home all day, didn't leave once. Sat in my living room, 10 feet from the front door. Never heard a knock. Opened the door a couple time because they've been sneaky in the past by running up and tacking one those post-its to the door without ringing the bell and running off back to their truck and peeling off like they stole something. Never seem folks so anxious NOT to do their job.
At any rate, I called FedEx, waiting. Finally I get a customer service rep. Before I get into my conversation with this person, let me set the stage. I live at an address where 2 blocks away there is a kind, older gentleman who has the exact same address as I EXCEPT my address ends in Terrace and his ends in Avenue. On numerous occasions he has received my packages. He has be kind enough to call FedEx to have them come pick up the items. He even delivered once. Oh and one other time he was so mad that FedEx REFUSED to pick up an item he called the cops. It just so happened I was home that day. I'll never forget it because whoever think a police officer would deliver a package. But the officer did. Scared the crap out me because I didn't know if something happened to my Son or Husband.
On the last botched delivery, I spoke to a nice woman at FedEx who specifically told me the (FedEx) had changed the street name and she did not know why. Okay now, back to my conversation this time. The guy asked for the tracking number, my name, and asked for the situation. I told him the tracking info said they tried to deliver...I was home all day...FedEx ALWAYS delivers to the wrong address. He asked for my address twice, I gave it both times. He says, "Well it says Avenue" I said "yes because your company changed it." He says, "No it came from the company you ordered the item from with Avenue." I tell him I have my invoice in my hand that shows my correct address.
The customer service (HA) rep repeats what he already said. I said, "Well let me arrange to pick it up." He tells me "No because there are restrictions on the package." I told him "I already know it needs a signature, so why can't I sign for it at the FedEx location?" He again repeats his self about the restrictions. At that point I asked for a supervisor or manager. What do I get 'escalations' which is a glorified title to try and fix major situation without additional pay. I know because I worked in that type of an area for a different company. So the lady I get gives me the same song and dance. BUT she tells me the shipper is the one who changed my address.
I called B.S. on that saying "Now why would this company do that when they're not even in the same state? How would they know if there's two address almost identical and two blocks apart." I told her what the last customer rep told me on a previous delivery FedEx botched. She says "No we don't do that." I called B.S. again and asked for her supervisor/manager. Again, I hear "No, there is no one else to speak with." Then she says "You'll have to have the shipper contact FedEx to change the address." At that point I hung up. I tried contacting the company but they are now closed. Something really needs to be done about FedEx. The company has terrible customer services all around. I know, I used to work in that area for many years and would have NEVER told a customer "No" as many times as they told me.

It's 2016 and the same issue with Fedex charging additional for "something" is still a complaint. As well as unusually rude staff at an "independent" ship location and/or with Fedex customer service. How does the company handle prepaid, large retailers shouldn't use FEDEX until it can CLARIFY what and when they plan to charge: additional rates, packaging material, Jiffy use, stapler... YES, a Fedex independent told me they wanted to charge $2 for USING packing tape for a prepaid item being dropped off. When the boxes arrived, it was raining. The person in charge of delivery was very disrespectful to me saying he was tired and the boxes were too heavy to be carried up one flight of stairs. He kept picking up boxes from one location and throwing them forcefully to the next. Boxes were in very bad shape when I first saw them in the truck but when they got up the stairs they looked so much worse. 2 of the boxes were completely ripped and things were falling out. When he dropped the last box on the floor, I was standing right there. A frame in the box broke and pieces of glass fell out of the box. He just looked at it and repeated that the box was heavy!
Those 2 boxes were so damaged that I couldn't even bring them inside the apartment. I had to bring each item in individually and clean all the broken pieces of glasses. All my crystal wine glasses were broken along with some of China and other things. I will send a claim to them soon with pictures included but I will never forgive them for how they mistreated my belongings! I will never work with them again.

I ordered a package online towards the end of April, and it shipped on 4/26/16 via SmartPost. I still have not received it. FedEx has not provided an estimated arrival date, and online tracking information has stated that it has been in the same location, the city surrounding my college campus where the package is supposed to be delivered, for six days (four business days). When I called FedEx after the company I'd ordered from and my post office were both unable to help me, woman I spoke to was fairly rude and insinuated that there was nothing FedEx could do. When I mentioned that my PO box was on a college campus, she told me that the company I'd ordered from had not included the name of my university on the package. This simply isn't true. On the company's site, my shipping address includes the name of my college, and when the FedEx representative read back my address, it did include the name of the college.
I guess she didn't recognize "--- State" as the name of a college. Instead of answering my questions, she repeated the same shipping information - that the package was "in transit" - instead of addressing the problem that my package had been listed as "in transit" in the same location near where it was supposed to be delivered for significant length of time. Additionally, she spoke in a relatively derogatory tone of voice and refused to put any responsibility on FedEx, telling me that I should contact the company I ordered from instead. I had already contacted them, along with my local post office, and they told me that I would need to contact FedEx. When I asked about the length of time that had passed while still "in transit", she said that SmartPost could take up to ten days. The shipping option that I selected stated that it would take 4-9 business days, not 10.
This simply doesn't simply fair, and it shouldn't be this difficult to ask about a package from a company that specializes in shipping them. I'm giving them two stars because there's still a chance that I will be able to receive my package (here's hoping it isn't completely lost), and the second woman I spoke to when I called back later was actually helpful and transferred me to someone from SmartPost who is working to help me locate my package.

I never received that package. I was told someone would return my call and explain, but this didn't happen. I'm obviously not able to place my trust in this company to deliver as promised. Someone clearly made a big mistake and tried to cover it up. For this reason, I will never do business with this shipping company again.

If I could post with negative five stars, I so would. This company is absolutely ridiculous. For a year I have been getting a package with diapers and wipes from the honest company. FedEx has been the delivering corporation for the package every time, no issues if I was home or not. This one time I NEED the diapers, they are telling me I have to be home to sign for the box. I okayed the package to be left at the door after the first failed attempt, since I would be at work... Still no package the next day. Call again, once again, they tell me they cannot leave it without a signature even though I okayed for it to be left, since again, I had to work. Left for California for the weekend, expected it on Tuesday, as they told me they said they would leave it at the door, and once again, nothing Tuesday.
Called customer service, they told me that they aren't sure why it wasn't left, but if I signed the door tag and put "leave at door", they would leave it on Wednesday. So, signed the door tag, put "leave at door". Wednesday, left for work, came home, again no ** package, but another door tag. Called AGAIN. Guy told me that with the door tag signed, it should have been left. He would send them a message saying to leave it, but to go ahead and sign the other door tag and put leave at door. Once again signed door tag, put "leave at door", put both tags back on the door. Thursday... Still... No... **... Package. Just got off the phone with some ** named Carlos. He told me that because it was an apartment building, they cannot leave the package.
Where I live should NOT affect if I get my package or not. I okayed for it to be left. My neighbors are NOT going to steal ** diapers and if they do, they needed them more than I did. Carlos proceeded to tell me that I now have to drive to go get my package because it's been failed to deliver. Are you ** serious?! I asked if he worked, he said he was at work. I asked if he was supposed to get a package today while he was at work, how would he sign for it?? Let alone, if at work, how are you supposed to drive to a FedEx location to pick up a package?!
I am sooo very disappointed with this company. I wish I was able to choose who my packages were delivered by, because every issue I have had with UPS they have made that extra effort to make their customer happy. FedEx on the other hand could care less - clearly. I hope this company finds better, helpful people, to provide customer service.

This company seems to have been good in the past but over the years, it has slowly became something bad. I have paid for $12 in extra shipping and the package has yet to be here. Waiting extra time is a hassle especially if it's sitting only 3 miles away. My package has also sat in one area for 11 hours without movement. The area has no reported delays. I am tired of waiting on a shipment I have paid so much for. I say use the truck that makes your mood go UP and is fast and reliable. Go brown not white.

I moved to Idaho a few months ago and each month I pay extra money once a month to have my shipment be here the next morning by 10:30am. This is the 2nd time I have used FedEx for this and it's an hour and a half after my package should've been here and it's not. I've called 2 times today and each time they say I should receive a phone call back, still no call. I have meds shipped to me every month and the only reason why I pay for priority shipping is because my insurance will only let me fill it the day before. I used UPS before I started using FedEx and they would get it to me an hour before the time it was supposed to be here.
Oh and every time I've called to ask about my package they tell me its delayed due to bad weather. This is 2 months in a row bad weather had happened to fall on my shipment days. Then the 1st time I call today the girl tells me it was due to bad weather in Memphis, Tennessee. The 2nd lady told me it was due to bad weather in Fort Worth, Texas. Which is it?

I had a package that I was expecting and was purposely working from home in order to be able to receive it. Early that afternoon, a neighbour brought up a door tag left by FedEx saying that they had attempted delivery. I was surprised as I had not heard my buzzer go off. I called FedEx to find out what had happened and I gave them the number on the door tag. They told me that the number on the door tag was not linked to a package, and that I should contact the company that sent the package to track it. This being unacceptable, I asked to talk to a manager. The woman I was then put in touch was at least willing and able to locate the package and driver. She then called the driver who claimed that he did press my buzzer - however this was not true. In my conversation with this woman I told her many times that the driver had not pressed the buzzer, that I had been home the whole time, and she repeatedly insisted that he had pressed buzzer.
I asked to speak with someone else. Although a much better communicator, this third person was not able to do anything for me, and I had to have my package redirected and won't get it until the end of the week. I called the company I ordered from and luckily, because of so many complaints about FedEx, they are going to give customers the option of having their packages sent by Canada Post. I will definitely choose this option in the future.

Opened our door and saw a door tag left by an unknown driver. The Driver never knocked. Called "customer service," and explained what happened; asked for the Driver to return. The Rep attempted to convince me that the Driver could not return. I asked for a Supervisor, only to be transferred to another Rep. That Rep placed me on a 30-minute hold, came back on the line, and repeated what the first Rep said. Asked again to speak to a Supervisor, placed on a 5-minute hold, then told ALL the Supervisors are in a meeting. This poor customer service is unacceptable!!!

Every time I get a shipment sent to my house via FedEx never goes flawless. Brown never fails me and even our local post office beats Fedex by far. This time I was sent a package that required a signature. The driver came 4 times and 2 of those there were people in the house and he just softly knocked on the door and just slapped a door tag on the door and runs away. I know cause I can see home my home camera. I called and complaint but all the customer service was outsourced to India and they have no clue of what is going on. I asked from the first attempt to give me a location for me to pick up but they would refuse to provide one.
After the 4 attempt the shipper contacted Fedex to try to release the package without a signature and was not allowed. We tried to change the address to my business address and also was not allowed. Finally they took the package of the truck and was awaiting for instruction for 2 days. I decided to go to their depot to pick it up and finally got my package. The team there were extremely busy solving other pending complaints and took mine as a routine complaint.
After driving 37 miles the opposite way to pick this up I received 2 calls from Fedex to arrange for delivery. I already had the package and they were contacting me for delivery. This is definitely the last time I use this service, I rather buy at stores that don't deal with Fedex and if they can't use UPS then I won't buy. I was told that most of the delivery drivers are now subcontractors, and don't work directly for Fedex, that reflects the terrible service of the company, they just don't care about the customers.

I went to where I got the fruit ship to VT and MI to complain along with my family members refusing the fruit and having it left there continue rotting. I can't get my money back from the dealer because she is blaming FedEx. FedEx is blaming the shipper. I spent $141 to send 2 cases of fruit to Vt and one to MI. I can't believe that FedEx drivers can refuse to take the fruit back when asked. Well if this is the case I will tell all my friends and family to boycott FedEx since they don't stand by their delivers. Shame on you! The shipper kept the order sheet so I don't have a receipt. I am totally disgusted with the shipper and FedEx. I hope you won't screw anyone else. If I could have given you a lower rating I would.

NO WAY. We were home. I was expecting another delivery yesterday, I left a note on front door to leave package with neighbor. It was left with Super but no notice of delivery. I thought it was lost again when I saw it was delivered on the computer. I asked neighbor if she got my package and she said no. I went to Super's apt and there it was. I don't like this at all. I would NEVER have delivery by FEDEX again.
