This is the second time I have had a package said to be delivered to my door that was not. The tracker said it was delivered but I was home all day and nothing was delivered. I called FedEx and they opened a case after asking me 50 questions like I'm an idiot who does not know their own address. Why are they still in business when they are messing with mail? It's a federal offense. Is there no way we can put them out of business?

Attention FedEx CEO Fred Smith, I have had issues getting packages delivered properly from your company since 2008. My regular driver that knew the area was laid off, and the replacements do not know the area. Recently a regular driver who was making deliveries properly has gone MIA. A new driver was smart enough to be in the correct area, but could not find my house as he drove by twice. I had to run four blocks to catch him and retrieve my package. It is not the drivers fault, it is your fault and FedEx hierarchy. The drivers need GPS and a steady area, and you need to retain good workers.

I called customer service consistently for 9 years about this very same situation, so it is clear that you are at fault and not the driver. Moreover, I received a neighbors package in 2008, called customer service, and left it on the porch for pickup for three months. Multiple calls to FedEx had fell on deaf ears and the package stayed on the porch for a full year. However, it is 2017 and the package was not picked up. I am sure that same things would happen to my packages if I did not run after your drivers. Very often the drivers are across town trying to deliver my packages in the wrong neighborhoods, and your customer service has no means to contact the driver to make corrections or help them out. You need GPS in your trucks, and or map books! You need to give drivers a regular area and try and maintain a steady workforce of regular employees.

FedEx driver didn't give me enough time to come to the door. The driver knocked on the door and left my package on the ground and ran to his truck. By the time I opened the door and saw the package he was already in his truck. I tried to tell him, "If I didn't answer the door don't leave my packages." I was told that I would have to leave a note on my door.

My daughter's phone was sent to the factory for repair, and when it had been fixed, the factory sent it back to me via FedEx. The delivery person either lost it or stole it, I don't know which, because he keeps stating that he delivered it to my apartment office, and yet I watched the delivery truck drive away from the office and down the road. I would not recommend anyone use this company.

My son was hired by a company who appears to have purchased routes from FedEx. He was given a FedEx truck and a uniform. Average day 12-16 hours. Pay: $1.00 per stop (which means if the truck is filled with 30 bags of dog food, going to one drop, you earn $1.00). The truck had numerous mechanical problems which the owner did not acknowledge (due to a language barrier -- the owner does not speak english very well). The subcontractor is now withholding my son's last paycheck because he wants to examine the truck and deduct the cost to repair the truck from my son's pay. FedEx is obviously NOT monitoring the subcontractors out there... For that reason I will not do business with FedEx. I wish I could give them 0 stars!

I bought a gift due for delivery on Valentine's Day. I kept checking the tracking status and it said out for delivery. Then the delivery day mysteriously changed to the following day. FedEx customer service informed me that someone logged the package on the manifest but never loaded it onto the truck!!! Is there no quality control with these people?! Now the gift, if it even arrives will be at least a day late! Totally ridiculous!!!

Fedex has been unwilling to properly help me locate a $325 package which they lost, creating extreme problems for my business. A Fedex driver has picked up my package from my building. The driver did not scan the box at pick up and it has completely vanished. All avenues of Fedex customer service have shown complete disinterest in helping me locate the box and resolve the issue.

I was initially told that the box was not with Fedex since their driver did not scan it. When I informed them that my building had camera footage of the driver picking up the box, I was asked if camera footage showed the tracking number on the box to prove Fedex had it, instead of asking me any details to help locate the box. Ridiculous.

I have made several calls and stressed just what significant issues this was causing me, since the box contained a product sample, let alone the fact that it was a $325 item. No representative made any reasonable effort to assist, telling me that it could have been any NY Fedex driver, who could have taken the box to any of the numerous NY Fedex locations so they can't help me. What kind of operation is this?

I started an online claim with Fedex. Nobody contacted me from Fedex to get details or try to assist further. I simply received an email stating that my claim was over and that I should expect an answer by mail, which never came. I contacted Fedex again via their website and was told: "The claim filed for this shipment has been denied. We sincerely regret that we did not resolve your claim to your satisfaction." Of course, I will never use Fedex again, as the damage they've done is possibly irreversible and this attitude is absolutely crazy. I urge everyone to avoid Fedex at all costs, particularly if you have an important shipment.

Pickup package myself which I paid for the service. Left emails with FedEx which really does not matter when shipping is below 5 star rating. Would get no stars in my book.

I paid $51.85 to have a package delivery next day because a technician was coming to do work. There was snow so they didn't delivery it. I called that night and asked if it would be here in the morning. They said someone would call me back. After an hour I called back and they said someone will call back it takes two hours. I waited two hours and called back only for them to tell me they could not tell me if the package would be there in the morning for the technician that was getting paid. I requested to pick it up. I got a text it was there. I went to get it and they said I would have to wait ten minutes. I waited 45 mins.

This company is inept and I talked to supervisors even as I was waiting for my package. Two supervisors called where I was to find out what was going on and they did not answer the supervisors. Can you imagine? They even have the nerve to tell me I'm not entitled to my money back. They have some racket ripping people off. I was not the only person upset. This was the Newburgh, NY office pick up. What else can be done legally because they should not be paid? It's one thing a snowstorm but at least notify the person who paid all this money. UPS trucks were out early.

I just ordered an item that was sent to me via FedEx. I tracked it from Ohio. It was located in Pioneer Tennessee yesterday which is about 30 minutes from my home. But FedEx has taken it to Ellenwood Georgia and they have given it to the USPS for delivery. Ellenwood Georgia is below Atlanta. The small USPS post office here in Deer Lodge has been cut back to only open a half day and closed completely on Saturday. FedEx and others have been given the lucrative package delivery while the USPS has been left with envelopes. Thanks to our thieving politicians. If FedEx and others had to deliver all the mail, they would raise their prices to the moon or go out of business. The little post office here has been in business for many years but it may be closed for lack of funds. Why have the politicians allowed this to happen. The answer is certainly not efficiency. Both UPS and FedEx drive their employees like slaves.

My package was suppose to be delivered February 6, 2017. In the morning I never received it so when I tracked the package around 3pm it kept saying "out for delivery". Okay I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I said to myself maybe they're running late so I stood outside waiting for a packaged I ordered for my mother and step fathers anniversary that I paid 250.00 for. And still NO FEDEX. It's now 6 pm. I checked my tracking and this time it said "package delivered". No signature required...

Okay first of all I stated in my comments do not leave my package at my door and require a signature. Second I never even seen FedEx on my block so number 1. They either were too lazy to deliver it. 2. They left it at the wrong house. 3. Or they took it home. Because when I called FedEx to make a complaint someone from customer service told me my package was delivered at 11am. This is all lies and if my package was supposedly be ''delivered'' at 11am how come when I checked the tracking number at 3pm it stated still out for delivery. I made a complaint so someone was to contact me in 2 hours that never happened the next day.

No one still never got back in contact with me so I called FedEx back again. Now it's an open investigation. So I contacted the company I bought the item from and they stated that a lot of customers haven't been receiving their things from FedEx. And that they will replace my money if they can't get any clarity with FedEx. This is sad because FedEx never ever take responsibility. I hate FedEx. This company sucks and I hope I never have to deal with them again.

We have continuous issues. We have a porch for packages to be left in. FedEX not only does not bother to place packages in porch - which is 3 steps, but they do NOT bother to obtain signature and just place package in elements and where it can easily be stolen. Further, when a complaint is made there is zero follow through. UPS always places in porch and obtains signature. We were home when FEDEX dropped off on steps a valuable piano keyboard, and found package in the morning on steps outside. NO more FEDEx ever!

I have ordered a drawer from Wayfair. The package was not delivered the day it was supposed to be. I have tracked it and I saw the message that there the apartment number is missing. OK. My fault. So I have contacted customer service to give them my apartment number. I spoke to guy named MICKEE **. He told me that they can change my address but they will charge me for that. I told him that I am not changing my address, that the location is the same and I am only adding missing apartment number. He keeps saying that in order to change my address I will be charged. Anyway, I was not even planning to be home. Our super normally receive all the packages and store them for all the tenants in the basement. So I told the gentleman to forget about the whole "changing my address" because anyway, our super will receive the package. He said no problem.

Next day, I am tracking my package and I see it has been delivered. Excited coming home, my husband is asking our supervisor to give us our package and he is claiming that he haven't receive anything for us. Make long story short, FedEx has changed my name to completely different name and add wrong apartment number!!! The package has been delivered to our neighbor based on apartment number. On top of everything, the furniture was damaged. I was so upset. I couldn't believe that someone would change my name and address on purpose! I am 7 months pregnant and I am trying to prepare our house for the baby. It was such a terrible and disappointing experience. It couldn't even sleep last night. Me and my husband own a small business. Every dollar made is a blood and sweat. It is so frustrating to give that money to someone for such a terrible service. I will NEVER use FedEx again.

The above rating should be zero stars. I have never rated a company or posted a complaint prior to my dealings with FedEx, but my experience was so bad, that I opened an account here solely for that purpose. Absolutely, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had with any company, period. The below, brief description cannot possibly convey the frustration and anger I have for this company.

First note that I have previously set up countless accounts online with numerous companies and never had issues. The FedEx website is completely unusable. I've had to call customer support every time I get on the website, which has amounted to a minimum of 5 phone calls over the last week. Every new thing you do on the website requires a new registration (e.g. you have to register an account, then register to view or pay bills online separately). It is impossible to find anything on the website as well because everything is under an obscure drop-down menu under an unexpected category. When I tried to enter information into the website, I would clearly see my information typed into the box, but would get an error message telling me I needed to enter the information. After numerous attempts, the website expired.

Calling customer service will get you an automated message asking you to select from inapplicable categories and ask you for information you don't have. I had to spend several hours on the phone with them talking me through the worthless website, which begs the question: if this much input is necessary for the website, why even have a website? Note that they can't do any of the stuff for you over the phone. Additionally, while I was on the phone figuring out how to ship a package to Canada, they never mentioned anything about printing off customs documents. Nor did the individual who picked up the package. Thus the package was returned the following day and I was billed for it. I believe the phrase "going postal" was in reference to dealings with FedEx. For your own sanity, avoid this company at all cost and especially avoid their website.

This FedEx company way of doing business is a joke. I would never use its service. Unfortunately, there are some sellers/merchants that use this company's service (I buy stuffs from Ebay, Amazon, Newegg, DJI, etc.). I bought a drone from Newegg, been on waiting list for 2 weeks, finally shipped by DJI. However, DJI used stupid FedEx and required signature & over 21 years old. FedEx attempted to deliver during business hour, Mon-Fri only due to ground shipment. Of course I work during the day and they returned drone to shipper/seller. This stupid company do re-deliver per customer's request, or different time such as after 4;30 pm, and they don't hold the merchandise at a local FedEx location for ground shipment. I think this FedEx made $ this way by returning to sellers/shippers so that the merchants will spend $ shipping again. Bad business model and unethical. SMH.

I ordered a computer the same time I ordered the other package that was stolen and I called Amazon to alert them that my neighbor was stealing our packages and I needed to have all deliveries signed for because of this. Amazon told me that they cannot make any changes to packages for third party sellers. So I told them to cancel the order mid-delivery because it's gonna get stolen and there is no other option given to me through Amazon Customer Service. After canceling it took 7 business days to receive credit.

At my work there are Amazon lockers. I reordered but the Amazon lockers were not a option for delivery for the reorder and Amazon reassured me that they will get the package to me. Now FedEx is sending package updates to me saying they attempting to deliver the package but there are no stickers on my door. There are other stickers from FedEx outside on our call box but none for me. I talked to my apartment manager and they stated that they give the code to the gate to the FedEx and UPS drivers and they are supposed to put the visit stickers on our doors and not on our call box.

UPS, FedEx and Amazon are liable for the drivers so they give time windows of delivery and really think it works. I always prefer to use USPS and we have lockers on our mailboxes to lock our packages up to 3 feet wide. Amazon, UPS, and FedEx just seems to not know the customers they serve. Too bad... This just inconveniences me and Amazon is going to lose a customer today. Amazon needs better customer service.

I have a concern with FedEx customer service communication or serious networking error. I had scheduled a 6 package pickup on Jan 12th. The zip code is 51503. I received a phone call from a FedEx dispatch stating that I need to call customer service and have them change the zip code from 51305 to the correct zip code of 51503 otherwise my shipment will not be picked up. I did call customer service and straighten it out... so I thought. I then received a call on Jan 13th telling me my address doesn't exist in the zip code area of 51053. So again I call the 1800 number to straighten it out. On Sat Jan 14th I received a call confirming pickup at my address with the wrong zip code again. Once again I straighten it out. Come Monday Jan 16th I received a call stating pickup will not be that day due to weather it had been rescheduled for Jan 17th.

At 3pm Jan 17th I called customer service to see why my packages had not been picked up. I was told the driver could not find my address at zip code 51053. Still incorrect zip code. So I straighten it out again giving the correct zip code and was told pickup was now scheduled for the following day. I then immediately call customer service back just to make sure they still had the correct zip code. Turns out they had the wrong zip code again even after all that I'd been through with correcting customer service. How can this be? This is crazy. So I asked to speak with a manager and told her how many times I've corrected this zip code issue. She assures me they have the correct zip code in their system now for my address and that pickup is now scheduled for Jan 18th.

To say the least I am very disappointed and frustrated with FedEx service and will never use FedEx again as well as tell everyone I know and everyone I meet to never use their services.

When I originally received my tracking number it stated 1/16/2017. I checked it on that date and the delivery date changed to by the end of the day 1/17/2017 so I checked it the following day. The delivery date never changed but FedEx delivered my package to the post office that is literally a block and 1/2 from my home AFTER my mail already ran for the day so I therefore won't be receiving my package until 1/18/2017. This has happened numerous times before where my packages that come via FedEx don't arrive until minimum 2 days after they're stated delivery date. FedEx is HORRIBLE and not good on their word of the correct delivery dates.

I'll also mention that this package is a subscription package that will be coming monthly so when I contacted FedEx to see if they could flag my address and have my packages delivered right to my door instead of the Post Office (then the post office delivers it to my door) a block and 1/2 from my house the customer service representative was rude and continued to tell me it's no longer FedEx's problem and that I should contact USPS. Um... what?!?! My package was sent via FedEx. FedEx is responsible for giving customers correct delivery dates and if they're going to use USPS then they should factor in the potential time it will take USPS to deliver the package as well so the delivery date is accurate!

To follow true to my word I will gladly leave a review of FedEx's service every time I have a package come through them which will be at least once a MONTH until FedEx steps up and takes responsibility for their horrible shipping and service, changes their business ways to put their customers first and FedEx stops giving FALSE INFORMATION to its customers.

I have never gotten upset with any company the way I have with FedEx customer service. There isn't any real customer service. This is the first time I've had to deal one on one with them and it's been one lie/problem after another. I honestly have no clue how this company has gotten away with this for so long. You think "big company" the customer always right. Wrong. The customer is always wrong at FedEx and they don't care because they know you most likely won't have a choice but to use them again. Absolutely ridiculous.

I order on-line from a pet food company. They ship through FedEx. According to FedEx tracking, my order was on the delivery truck two days in a row, but the driver was too lazy to come to my house. He drives right by my turnoff, but didn't bring my order. The company from which I order is in a state other than where I live. FedEx posted on the tracking that delivery wasn't attempted due to extreme weather. Since the pet food company is in another state, they don't have a clue what the weather is like. The two days the driver didn't deliver was the nicest weather we've had in a month. The sun was shining, the HWY was dry and clear and the road to my home was plowed. There is no excuse for my order not to be delivered except pure laziness on the part of the FedEx driver.

My package was set to be delivered to my home on January 13, 2017; it was delivered around 2:30 in the afternoon but not to my address! The first time I called they told me it was delivered at my garage door but I'm not understanding why the delivery driver will put the package at my garage door when I clearly put a note letting the driver know to leave my package between my screen door. The first representative apologize for my inconvenience and told me that my package will arrive around 5 that same day!

5:00 come around still no package so I called back and they explained to me that my package was delivered. Instead of reading all the notes that was put into their system that representative was very short with me and obviously didn't want to do their job! So I asked was there any updated note? Instead of looking she passed me to another rep and that individual explained to me that someone had already picked up the package and it should be delivered a little bit after 6 (that also never happen).

I called back again but this time I called the actual location that it was shipped from! The representative told me that he would contact the shipping and distribution location to see if the driver picked up the package yet. After waiting for almost 10 minutes to find out where my package was located the rep told me that my package still wasn't picked up and most likely I will receive it on Saturday or Tuesday.

Once again they took down my phone number and told me that somebody will contact me as soon as the driver go back to pick up my package. On top of everything I was told yesterday he had the nerve to have an attitude. But he did say my package will be delivered before the night is over. NEVER HAPPENED!!!

Well it's Saturday morning on January 14, 2017 I called again still no updated information and still no package or phone call. BUT they took down my number AGAIN and told me that someone will contact me as soon as my package was picked up from the WRONG address!!! I'm done with FedEx!! I was already tracking my package that is supposed to be next day delivery. To remove the responsibility from FedEx for the delivery... because of work hours... I elected to pick my package up from the facility. I get a phone call from them stating that I can't pick the package up until Monday because they are understaffed and aren't going to break down any new freight. Let's forget about customer service and instead - as easier options have already been put in place because you botch up deliveries - now offer customers the option of coming to the facility and breaking down the freight for you too so customers can receive their property within the time frame promised. If you want to passively deny quality customer service, I definitely recommend FedEx.

I ordered a product off of eBay and it was shipped via FedEx. Everything was going well, then I checked my order status and it showed the product had been dropped off at my front door and did not require a signature. Firstly, this item was being shipped to my motel. My motel is open 24/7. There was no way the FedEx driver would have dropped off my package at the front door. The lobby is always open.

Before I filed my complaint, I wanted to make sure I had all the information I needed before I called. I have a security system installed at this motel. There are a total of 32 cameras on this property. I checked eight hours before and after the drop off time listed with the tracking number. There was never a FedEx at my property at all during that period.

I called FedEx to let them know what had occurred. After taking down my information, I was told someone would be calling me within two hours. That would never happen. I called FedEx again a few hours later and they told me the same thing. I explained to the employee that I have a security system on this property and there was no FedEx driver on my property the day in question. Again, I was told someone would contact me in two hours. No one called me back again.

After this failed, I went on their website and filled out a question/complaint form. I sent that to Fedex and never got any response within the allotted time. The site states to allow 48 hours for a response to the inquiry. Again, no response. During this time, I contacted the eBay seller and told him of the situation as well. He stated, he would contact eBay the next morning.

I was about to contact FedEx again the following day when a person showed up in my lobby and dropped off a package which was delivered to him. It was my order. The FedEx driver had delivered my package to the wrong address. I notified the eBay seller and told him everything was fine. I told him that I would wait for FedEx to contact me to let them know what had happened.

I have never received any communication from FedEx, verbal or written about this matter. I have cameras. I can verify everything. I saved everything to a flash drive if they are interested in knowing what happened. I guess they just don't care that their employee made a mistake. Maybe they thought I would just go away. Maybe, because I had cameras, they knew I wasn't lying, so they would have to actually fix a screwup. No one at that company ever stepped up to find out what happened.

I have called numerous times with them promising to call back within a couple of hours. They have been contacted by myself, Amazon and the supplier of the package with no results. It's been over two weeks and still nothing. Not even a call, supposedly it's under investigation, how hard is it to investigate. The driver screwed up. Plain and simple. Whether he left the package in a field somewhere or took it home who knows. Proper procedure would be if there is no such address package should have been sent back to the supplier, I can't even get a frigging refund until they supposedly finish their investigation. I ordered a package on 1/6/17 through FedEx and was promised a delivery date on 1/10/17, but it got held up in Troutdale Oregon due to weather conditions. This package is a computer case that is very essential to my new college computer for online school. When left Troutdale last night, I said departed at 8:46 pm, so I am jumping up and down saying "yay, there is hope yet that it will appear before next Monday" which is when my motherboard, the last component, is due to arrive. So I am waiting for my tracking info to get updated to tell me where my item is. I waited until about 11 am, then I went on chat and talked with a person who was helpful and they told me the package was in Bend Oregon and that was their last known location. I look back at the tracking info and it still says "last known location was Troutdale".

Now I am thinking to myself "are they really just too lazy to give me, the buyer, the info where my package is that I paid for?" Now when it comes to a company shipping my product that I pay for out of my pocket to have an item I want, I expect when they give me a date they are bringing the package, I expect it to be delivered on that date. I have about 6 more items. 5 are due here tomorrow (huh I guess we will see), and another due here by Monday (I guess we will see there too). At least UPS getting their big boy and big girl pants on and puts chains on their vehicles and makes those deliveries to the person no matter the weather. I don't too much like FedEx, but the site I ordered from doesn't give me the option to pick UPS (or else I would have choose them).

Now have in mind, YES, I am very angry because my computer is borderline frying and I need a new computer, and yes maybe I am a little obsessive and impatient, but I was given a date and time my package would be delivered and when they stopped that then they shown they pretty much run on their own time despite the customer's plans. Which mine are very important since I doing all my college online and I have a live video chat for my math that requires specific computer build requirements. I like to relax and enjoy life, but when I am waiting for a package I pay for that has a tracking number and they just stop updating it because they are lazy, then that makes me wonder and say to myself "if I do this are they going to just stick a door tag on my door after just standing there for 10 seconds and say 'sorry we missed you'?" As I watch a UPS truck drive by my house thinking why couldn't my package be on that truck.

Now I don't mean to complain. In a way actually I do. But when I PAY REAL MONEY for an item I PAY for, THEN I DAMN WELL EXPECT that when they say they are getting it to my house on a certain date, THAT I DON'T HAVE TO CAMP OUTSIDE MY WINDOW wondering if I wasted my day away and if the package will ever appear. I will make sure that I use UPS from now on and I will use people I know to jump through those hoops because this is **. I expect better service from a company that gets paid to make people happy. Happy customer means they use you more. Unhappy customer usually means lots of lawsuits.

UPDATED ON 01/16/2017: I ordered a package on 1/11/17 that was supposed to be here on Friday the 13th of January 2017 and never showed. When it didn't show I was watching the tracking number and it said not available for an estimated delivery window. Now here's the bad part, I paid $20 in my money to get it here in 3 DAYS, that means it should be here today right. Well I called up FedEx asking them if they can update me as to where my package is and I had the same issue with my case except it updated me and arrived on the 13th. And they said "we will look into where it is at and will open an investigation."

A lady calls me back saying that the label may have fell off and is still in the facility in California. Now get in mind I live in JOHN DAY OREGON. Now I said "what, and you guys didn't have the respect and time to call and let me know this so it could be resolved." They said "we didn't know about this," now get in mind I am speaking to one of the administrators who handles shipping for FedEx, and she said she will watch to see if any movement happens and will contact me again on Thursday. And if nothing happens by the 24th then she will call the shipper.

At this point I am furious and she can tell, I told her "I don't have until Thursday or the 24th, I need these parts NOW because I am an online COLLEGE student who does a live video chat for math that requires higher upgraded parts and right now my computer is on the verge of complete failure". Now she say "I am sorry for the issue of this" and she can't do anything with the shipping company over there. I said "really," I told her "I don't mean to be rude but I was told by YOU (as in her) that you are an ADMINISTRATOR of the shipping company so that means you can do something about it. These parts I paid $20 for shipping to be here in three days and Monday the latest because it is required for my college computer build that I paid over $500 for."

So I end the conversation with her and go straight to one of the administrators who shipped my package which would be Newegg. And I tell them my situation and the person said they can't do anything regarding the FedEx shipping department but my packages should arrive today. That put a little ease in my heart but then he asks me to contact FedEx to find the package and I told him they said It's still in California and he said "well I don't know what to do there because he can't see what FedEx is doing as in when and where they ship." So I am thinking in the back of my head that he doesn't even know if that package is sent.

By this time I am panicking and very furious, I will never use FedEx again after this incident because they just are not that reliable anymore. About 5 years ago I ordered my first PC and they rushed it here super quick and so I thought, maybe they are still reliable and can do I again. Man o man I couldn't be more wrong. At least UPS gets my packages to me on time and I actually know one of the UPS shippers because he is my dad's friend's son's best friend and knows who I am and gets things shipped despite the weather.

Frozen biological samples were shipped International Priority from Seattle, WA to Tokyo, Japan in DRY ICE on Dec 19, 2016 with an estimated delivery on Dec 21, 2016. Samples arrived on Dec 26, 2016. SIX DAYS LATER! Obviously, frozen biological samples were destroyed! Called FedEx to get shipping charges removed for a shipment that was not delivered on time and getting my samples destroyed and was put in touch with DANIELLE **. Danielle ** did not understand the issue at hand and repeatedly pointed out FedEx terms and conditions, where money-back guarantee was not available during Dec 19 to Jan 3. She then went further to point out the fact that because the package contained DRY ICE, the money-back guarantee would not apply anyway even if sent on different dates.

Next, she pointed out that the terms and conditions were available to me online 24 hours, 7 days a week and repeatedly tried to get off the phone by saying, "is there anything else I could help you with". I asked her multiple times to please stay on the phone with me while I read over the terms and conditions. Her reply every minute was, "was there anything else I could help you with". My issue is, if I am sending a sample with DRY ICE and shipping it international PRIORITY, there should be a pop-up or a warning letting the sender know the POSSIBILITY of DELAYED shipment! That way this problem could have been avoided by NOT SENDING THE SAMPLES!

I am writing this review because this is the second attempt at sending my frozen biological samples to collaborators in Japan and FedEx not delivering on their promised date! This is the second time my samples have been destroyed and no compensation has been made. FedEx shifts blame on customs. However, then WHY promise a date that can't be made?! They should underpromise and overdeliver! Lastly, they need to train their customer service representatives to be more patient and understanding even if they do not want to be! That's part of the job description as a customer service rep! Danielle ** of FedEx should be given a performance review and previous calls re-examined.

Over the last month, I have had several deliveries utilizing all 3 primary methods of postage/shipping/receiving including FEDEX, UPS, USPS. FEDEX delays delivery until the very last listed delivery day within the scheduled delivery time frame listed by each corporation after making a purchase, rather than the earliest delivery date. FEDEX customarily delivered earlier than most other forms of shipping in the United States. That is no longer true. Moreover, storm notices are often listed at the banner atop their website, of course especially during winter months.

However, if consumers track deliveries, sometimes trucks are not near the storm path, but are within a few hours or closer to the consumer address. Drivers sometimes wholly failing to update customers that request tracking notices on their electronic devices, abandoning all communication to conceal their location. With a shipment history that FEDEX has enjoyed for generations, this new activity is frustrating customers but the excessive delay impedes progress for United States business. Delay also creates a greater risk of theft.

One recent experience with Wayfair.com resulted in my delivery product sitting on a FEDEX truck throughout the weekend, which was but an hour away from my home. Anyone could have broken into that truck and stolen all of the goods he had stored undelivered in his truck from Friday evening to this afternoon on Monday when the item was finally delivered. I received no notice from the FEDEX driver until Wayfair.com escalated the search for the FEDEX truck. Authorities were contacted. Suddenly, I received a slew of tracking notices from the driver as to where the item was and when it would be delivered.

Another delivery from Jet.com - FEDEX driver made through most of the top tier states in the nation... snowstorms and all. Then sat in Kent, NY from Friday until this morning when he decided to drive up to Connecticut. Still only 4 hours from my home, with clear roads today on the East Coast. No excuses. He did not go very far from his weekend location in Kent, NY. Taking his time, this FEDEX driver, too, is waiting until the very last scheduled delivery day. Bad business practices by shipping handlers require new legislation.

Therefore, I urge all that experience similar conditions with FEDEX to contact their members of Congress and senators to set new guidelines for delivery services within the 48 contiguous states so that the consumer is protected, and unnecessary delays do not result in theft. If shipment by a FEDEX driver is excessively delayed, close to your location, but is being withheld by the driver who is not communicating with you, call the state police to find the truck and determine what is going on. I worked for FEDEX as a supervisor in Durham, North Carolina in 2006. This consistent delivery delay activity is wrong.

They told me they have no way to track their drivers or to know where the package was delivered.

A multi million dollar company and they don't know whether drivers are at? I find that fascinating. It's hard to believe. They told me they would call me back in two hours and they did not. So I repeatedly call them two other times for the same runaround and virtually no help. They did not send the driver back out to retrieve the package as they promised, and our evening was ruined. Today is January 2, 2017 and my neighbor brings the package to my front door. The package was clearly marked with my address yet in a hurry was delivered to the wrong home. Thank goodness they're still good people in the world. In the end, buyer beware. If I have any say so I will never use FEDEX shipping company again. Their lack of commitment to customer service, storytelling to pacify and inability to handle simple tasks to execute is less than desirable.

I ordered from Walmart.com to have an item shipped to my house for my son for Christmas. It was guaranteed to be delivered on 12/23/16. My package ended up going from Kearny, New Jersey to Livonia, Michigan. Over 600 miles away from where I live in Vermont. When I called FedEx to get the package sent to the right address, the CSR told me the only thing she could do was hold my package at the Livonia, Michigan facility for me to pick up in person. When I told her I'm not driving 600 miles 1 way to get a package they sent to the wrong state, she told me she was transferring me to her supervisor and then hung up on me.

This is not the 1st time FedEx has seriously screwed up. This company faces 0 accountability, their CSR consistently misrepresents info on resolutions. I actually caught 2 of their CSR giving conflicting info on my package. Raul who I was talking to on the phone told me they had found my package and were preparing it to be shipped to me and at the same time received a private message on Facebook from another CSR saying that my package was lost. Who do I believe in a case like this? The rep on the phone or the FedEx media rep on Facebook. Their so-called tracing department hasn't even called or emailed me the info on the package that they're supposed to finding. If I could give 0 stars for their service I would.

A bit long but shows the disregard of customer service. The package was supposed to arrive December 20th. On the 21st Fedex sent me a notice stating it would arrive on the 27th. On the 28th I received another notice. Yes once again I received the notice the day after it was supposed to be delivered to my door. I looked at where the package has been. OH to Chino to Los Angeles to Chino to Los Angeles. I live in the mountains about 50 miles east of Chino, and a bit further from Los Angeles.

I called Fedex. I was told they would deliver to USPS on Saturday December 31. I explained to the lady, a bit rude she was, that the USPS does not deliver to homes in the mountain area. She then began talking again how it would be delivered to the USPS and they would deliver it to my house. I was explaining again and she started talking and would not stop. When she did finally stop I tried again and she started talking over me. I asked her to quit interrupting and to please listen to me. I told her of the way the USPS works in the mountains. She then put me on hold. She might have been having a cup of coffee or reading the newspaper. About seven minutes later she said the same thing. I said the USPS would not accept the package and it would be returned to sender. She said the same thing again. I said speaking to her was pointless as she would not do anything to help Fedex do its job. I said goodbye.

Today is Saturday 12/31/2016. Fedex did not send me a notification. I went looking at the tracking number and it has been returned to sender because the USPS office would not accept it. UPS has been delivering packages to my home once or twice a month. The one time UPS could not deliver due to snow they called. They left it at one of their offices so we could pick it up. I receive medical supplies to my home monthly. The USPS may not be fast, but they do deliver to my PO Box and to places I send packages and letters to. Ten years ago I was working for a large corporation. Fedex was best this side of Colorado and UPS the other side. Of course UPS was for all international deliveries. Since that time Fedex has become a bit larger, but they seem to have forgotten that customer loyalty will keep your company alive and thriving.

FedEx is terrible. Every single time I get a package from FedEx it's always 3 days late and they always lie about their reasons. For example 2 days ago there's a storm that ended at noon and the roads are completely clear by 1. I had other packages delivered by UPS and USPS during the storm though the storm was long over by 5 p.m. FedEx claim that their delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the storm and went in at 5 hours after the storm was over. Now yesterday they claim customer not here or business closed is why they didn't deliver. Yesterday I sat on my couch all day and waited. They never came and then lied about why they didn't deliver.

And now here I am waiting all day today and they still haven't delivered and if you call they're rude and obnoxious and give you the runaround and just don't care. FedEx is terrible. Never use them. The other services - UPS USPS all of the other ones - if they say it's going to be delivered at this date and time it's delivered that date and time. Not once has FedEx ever delivered when they claim they would.

The address was a residence - not a business. I called their 1-800 number and eventually spoke to a human who told me that someone from the Crofton office would call me within 2 hours. The return call never came.

I called again and finally got the phone number of their Crofton facility. The gentleman at the Crofton facility told me they made a mistake. I asked if they could deliver my package tomorrow (12/31/16). They cannot because the sender would have to pay an additional fee. 12/31/16 is a Saturday. 1/1/17 is a Sunday. 1/2/17, Monday, is a federal holiday. He informed me that they would deliver the package on 1/3/17. I was upset that I paid extra. They "made a mistake" on their documents (business vs. residential) and I have to wait. He hung up on me. Last year I had several problems with packages that were sent by FedEx, in my both worlds: personal and professional (my work has everything to do with logistics and depend on companies like UPS and FedEx). On personal level it was shipment from Wal-mart (I do not understand why they keep working with FedEx). I spoke to supervisors and managers at FedEx, and they did not even offer me to expedite the shipping of the items that they had lost. Unbelievable!

One of the stories from last year: I received damaged good and arranged the exchange. It was 100 lb punch bag kit. When FedEx picked it up, it was said that the package weight was 70 lb. How?! I cannot even imagine. Because of this I had problems later, Wal-mart kept saying they had not received the returned item. FedEx, probably, lost it. They lost my other order, did not deliver on time (and it was the supply for surgery case for the patient at work), and so on. My last drop came a week ago. We exchanged one of the goods by warranty. The label for pick up was created on Tuesday, FedEx showed up to pick that package up only on Sunday. It took them 5 business days to come to pick up the package!!! What in the World?! I personally, would never go to FedEx to serve my family with anything!

They did call me after 5 hours of waiting to tell me that the FEDEX driver will be delayed in picking up my package and will arrive within 3 hours. When 3 hours passed, I call them again and waited a long time on hold for someone to answer my call.

When FEDEX rep from customer support finally spoke with me, I was told someone did arrive 2 hours ago and the driver filed a report stating no one was home which was false. No one rang the bell to my apt in which I live in an apt complex with over 100 apts. I complained to FEDEX that the driver filed a false report. I am appalled by how FEDEX operates and does not monitor their staff specifically their drivers. There should be consequences or fine FEDEX for false advertisement. There should be an investigation into this matter because this is definitely a rip off for the consumers who already paid for this service.

I had to call FEDEX again and reminded them that I officially placed a complaint verbally on the phone and via email to their customer support website.

Interesting to note, emailing a complaint via email to FEDEX website, no response was given as to their action plan to resolve this issue. I only received an automated email receipt that they did receive it which does not mean a thing if there is no actual response with an action plan. I did re-schedule another pick-up date from my apt. and again I have to wait all day for them to arrive... still waiting. I told her I wasn't sure why it wasn't on there, because the label was generated from our billing address with Verizon.

She continued to complain about how she came to my property, had no idea where to go because of the address and how silly it was that I didn't put my address and how I was lucky that she didn't drive away with it and leave me with nothing. Really? She honked the horn, and I came running, IN THE RAIN!!! She literally never left her seat! It is ridiculous that almost every time we have something delivered to our house by FedEx is damaged. Drivers at times don't even try to reach the door or honk, and they throw the package over the fence. Today, we reached the limit with this crappy company. I arrived at my house while FedEx driver was taking the package out the truck, and I was horrified to see how he treated the package. He made a hole in the box to lift the package easier and he throw it on the ground. I told him I was there to take care of it and even when I show my ID he couldn't just hand the package to me. He mumbled something in Spanish and he throw it over the fence! Now I have to return the item and going through hell to find another solution. Enough!

My current laptop of six years is cracked down the middle where the hard drive rests and the screen has almost entirely come off from the base. I needed the new laptop on a Thursday, delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, and I figured if the package was delayed, I'd at least get it before my deadline. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did FedEx not deliver the item on time as promised, they constantly were switching my updates. When I last checked in Friday night, delivery was scheduled for the following Monday, after the weekend. With that in mind, I ran my usual errands Saturday. I was home until I needed to run out to pick up my niece from school. In the ten minutes I was gone, literally, the truck had arrived and left a notice at my door. I swear they must sit in their trucks with binoculars and wait until the customer leaves before making any attempt to drop off their packages.

I could not drive out in the snow to the FedEx location to pick up, and now the delivery update states the package will be delivered Tuesday. What happened to Monday? Whomever is in charge of updates and delivery scheduling must take great glee in the despair of their customers. I swear I'll be lucky if I get my laptop before the new year! For now, I am reduced to utilizing my old laptop which is held together with duct tape and a few Hail Mary's. If you ever purchase something online, always make sure the business uses UPS as their delivery service. If not, you're placing your package in the hands of the most incompetent delivery service known to man. FedEx is not your friend!

However, when he filed a claim they say that maximum liability limits are $1000, when they adjusted the premium to accommodate the declared value. Couple of things firstly, DO NOT USE FEDEX, for shipping valuable items. Secondly, It's time to fix your website to adjust the premium charges in accordance with your maximum liability limits. A company of this size should know better. Unfortunately, escalations team Eva is not helpful and is extremely disrespectful. They have had pretty good marks in the past, but then they decided it was cheaper to deliver mail to the USPS offices "by delivery date" to make them more money. Now they can't even do that on time. Multiple shipments from multiple companies were received by FedEx by Dec. 6, to be delivered "5-7 business days." I'm complaining now, because it's December 15, and my FedEx packages have just arrived at the USPS leg of their trip, and they "should arrive by Dec. 17."

Count them, that's 7-8 business days to USPS, +2 more if you include the day they to be delivered, on a Saturday. This Delivery Address is ATLANTA, GA, I'm talking about! If they can still deliver their 1- and 2-day shipments, I don't know anymore. But, for regular shipments like these, you should completely remove the FedEx leg of the shipment out of the delivery. You should have USPS do it from door to door since FedEx is using USPS to deliver their packages. The FedEx leg is the slow/late leg of your FedEx shipments!

I am furious and upset with FedEx. Two heavy packages containing an expensive machine were delivered to my residence but instead of taking the package to my door, which is upstairs, they left the packages outdoors at the bottom of the stairs. These packages are heavy, weighing around 100 pound each and cannot be lifted up the stairs by me, a 60 year old female without a dolly or assistance. FedEx was hired to deliver this to my door but now the packages sit exposed to the weather and potential theft for the next two days until the FedEx reopens.

I contacted Fedex in the early evening on the day of delivery as soon as I returned home from work and discovered the packages near the parking lot of my building. The rep I spoke with assured me someone would call me back to assist me within 2 hours. No one called back. I again called and was told, "So sorry, can't help you until Monday." This is unacceptable. I paid $1500 for the machine that the FedEx delivery man just dumped at the bottom of my stairs and which is now subject to theft, weather damage and exposure, potentially for several days. I used to think FedEx was an efficient and superiorly run company, but this delivery has changed my opinion. FedEx sucks.

FedEX has informed me that they will not keep security code information on file. Now I learn they will not use a gate code, even when it is printed on the shipping label. Surely I'm not the only person who lives with a security gate, and buys from Amazon? I have a security gate that is about 40 feet from the street, in plain sight of all passing traffic. My house is 1,200 feet away, up a hill and behind trees. I provide the security code ON the shipping label to be used by Amazon, and FedEx still will not use the code and deliver my package to my door.

This is in a very rural area. There is no pavement or sidewalk outside the gate, just grass and dirt. At this time of year, deep wet grass, and mud. The driver just left my $1,200+ Rinnai furnace outside the gate this afternoon, the carton sitting in wet grass - not covered with plastic and getting drizzled on. I didn't know they did not use the code - I thought the delivery was still on its way.

I'm a sixty year old woman, and when I learned by email that my package had been "DELIVERED" (quote, unquote) I got in my pickup truck and drove down to find it at the gate. It's a wall furnace. It's heavy. I had to drag it through the mud to my truck, lower the tailgate, get the bottom edge tipped up onto the edge of the tailgate, then lift and push this heavy box up into the back of the truck. Every time I place an order with Amazon Prime I cringe. If I'm lucky enough to have them deliver by UPS I can relax, otherwise it's nothing but stress.

I was expecting three separate deliveries. On Monday 11/28/16 @ 3:32pm, the FEDEX driver rang my doorbell. I rushed downstairs to answer the door and found that my package was left on the sidewalk up against my gate. The FedEx driver was already in his vehicle and driving down the street. On Tuesday 11/29/16 I was expecting another delivery. This one arrived at 3:42pm. I rushed to answer the door as before and found that again my package was left on the sidewalk up against my gate. I was clearly annoyed because of prior experiences so I went outside to speak to the driver about leaving my packages on the sidewalk. I did not see the FEDEX truck nor did I see the driver and I can usually hear the delivery truck if it is close by. The driver was long gone.

I also ordered merchandise from Verizon Wireless on the 25th of November, and it was set for 2-day shipping. I should have received this package on Monday the 28th of November but I did not receive it. Looking on the FEDEX delivery app it indicated that it was suppose to arrive on the 28th. Then when I look on the deliveries app later, delivery status said the "next day" or "pending". Tuesday same thing happened out for delivery earlier in the day then delivery date changed to next day. On Wednesday 11/30/16, according to FEDEX delivery information package from Verizon would be delivered. Looked on fedex delivery app later that day and found that delivery was changed to "PENDING".

I was more than angry, so I called Verizon Wireless to let them know that the merchandise that had a 2-day shipping I hadn't received yet. Customer Service agent at Verizon called FEDEX then connected my call to FEDEX. I asked the agent to explain why a package labeled two-day shipping has not been delivered within the specified time frame? Why is the delivery time always being changed to the Next Day or Pending? Why the delivery driver left my packages on the sidewalk for anyone walking or driving by could easily steal?

Customer Service agent told me that FEDEX tried to deliver the package from Verizon Wireless on Tuesday 11/29/16 @ 11:59am but I disputed that claim because I took time off work that week and stayed at home to receive the Fedex packages because I know that they will leave your deliveries outside your door for anyone to walk away with. Then the Customer Service agent told me that there was a problem with my address that's why my package was not delivered, then asked me to confirm my address. That too was a lie. My address was correct and I received other deliveries using same name and address on same days. Then he said maybe driver could not locate address.

I asked to speak Supervisor THAT WAS A WASTE OF 10-15 MINUTES ON HOLD! I explained the problems that I was having with their delivery service and also asked why I hadn't received the delivery from Verizon when it was labeled two day shipping? He just said that my package would be delivered on Thursday 12/01/16. One would think that when you speak to a Supervisor of a company with such complaints, that they would bend over backwards to accommodate you the customer as much as possible right? THINK AGAIN!!

I said to the Supervisor that it was a waste of time waiting to speak to him because he was not saying anything different than the customer service agent, and in fact he should being doing everything that he could to make sure that I received my package before the next day. His response to me was "I will receive it tomorrow" to which I said "I AM DEMANDING THAT I WANT MY PACKAGE DELIVERED TODAY!!"

Guess what! I received it finally at 6:50pm that same day. Maybe there was another Supervisor with more sense than the dummies that I spoke to, that knew the right thing to do. Has anyone seen what it said on your FEDEX packages "IT SAID LEAVE IF NO RESPONSE". Unfortunately, when you place an order you don't immediately know what delivery company a company uses. I recommend that we as consumers try some of the smaller delivery services. I have one of the apps on my phone. It is called DOORMAN.

You can also contact the company where you placed your order and let them know the manner in which your packages were delivered and how unsatisfied you are. Also call to see if someone wilI be reading and responding to your email. I did that myself about these deliveries. The first person that responded to my email, I was not happy with their reply. I then replied this person. Then I received another reply from another person. The response did much more to satisfy me as a customer and I was sent a 10% off on my next purchase.

CHECK OUT FEDEX AT THEIR BEST YOUTUBE VIDEOS!!! Showing how they treat merchandise that customers have spent their hard earned money on. PS: I have never had any of these kinds of problems when I receive packages from UPS, and I have received shipments from them for commercial and residential. FAR SUPERIOR TO FEDEX. This company has repeatedly failed to deliver packages. This will be the most recent occurrence when it comes to their failures. Their first attempt to deliver was fair, I was not home to receive this package; however on the 2nd and 3rd attempts I was sitting in silence waiting for a knock, a buzzer ring, a phone call, something! But to no surprise, I received a notification that their attempt to deliver failed because "I was not present." On the contrary, I had been waiting back and forth between a loud buzzer and the door. I then tried to rectify this problem, but can not because they have no humans to speak to (via online "live chat" and phone call). I also, paid the extra $12 to wait anyway. Sad, I know.

Online they say, "I am so and so and want to help", however when you respond to them with the issue at hand. They stop responding to you. You will sit there for hours to come to a realization, no one is actually there. Phone Calls will get you nowhere as well. They only provide you with a voice machine that spits out options to change delivery address, which will make zero sense since they will do the same thing to the other address. It will give you another option that will tell you the window of delivery, which also makes zero sense since they won't show up anyway. Another option is that will defeat the purpose of the delivery option entirely -- Schedule a Pick Up. FedEx is a joke, period. I mean come on, grow a pair and talk to your customers. The package delivery attempt was made at 12/2/16 12:47pm and the expected time of delivery indicated late afternoon on 12/2/16. No big deal. I will call customer service and find out where I can pick my package up myself at FedEx. Customer service tells me that I can pick up my package that evening at the distribution center between 6pm and 7pm the same evening. I drive 30 minutes to the distribution center where I am told to "wait 10 minutes and we will bring the package out to you". After waiting 20 minutes an employee shows up with no package and says "your package is not here, it is with a contract driver." The employee also said, "Your package will be delivered sometime tomorrow". So I drive 30 minutes back home empty handed.

The next morning I contact FedEx customer service to get the status of my package. The customer service rep was very polite but was speaking broken English and was unable to comprehend my questions about my package status. She did tell me that, "I would not get my package till Monday". I let her know that I would not be home Monday to sign for the package, and requested to have the package held a location closer to my home so I could pick it up. The language barrier was complicating our communication and now I am waiting for the next problem to come out of what I view as a extremely unreliable delivery service.

The idea that FedEx is unable to provide accurate information to the customer to allow basic coordination of package delivery has lost my confidence in their service. FedEx should know the status of customer packages (even between employees and customer service). When you get conflicting information from two or more FedEx associates, it tells me the company needs to improve the package status system to ensure the same information is reaching all parties involved. Since moving to a new city/state 6 months ago I have ordered MANY items large and small online and they have been delivered via the following services: USPS, UPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, and Amazon new delivery service. With the exception of FedEx - all deliveries have been on time and intact. Both FedEx Ground and Freight are worthless in my opinion. All packages from them are damages as well as some of the contents. That is IF the packages/freight don't get lost somewhere and I spend hours on the phone with FedEx and/or the original shipper trying to track it down myself. And of course I've already been billed for these items whether I ever received them or not. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. The customer service is the worst I've experienced. They just plainly DON'T DO THEIR JOB!

This last time it's a shipment of MEDICATION that they have lost... Hmmm, wonder who's pocket that went into. They even lied to the pharmacy that shipped it and SWORE it would be delivered yesterday. Needless to say, it was NOT delivered. I don't understand why any company continues to use FedEx delivery service, ESPECIALLY a pharmacy where timing is truly important. Online companies really need to be able to select what delivery services the customers prefer... and FedEx would start feeling the impact of their lousy customer service leading to decrease in business.

When I needed to contact them, never they finished with my problem. I needed to call more than 4 times. FedEx has not qualified workers with a knowledge in Shipping dangerous material to other countries. I went to FedEx central where it is the "only" place that they received this type of material and were only 2 people working without knowledge about all papers that I should present in this type of shipment. Later, of depending the personal assistant (with knowledge) that take the package asked for different documentation, sending the same type of material. The only difference was 3 month. Why the regulation is not clear??

It's nice to be able to plan according to scheduled deliveries. Unfortunately FedEx tracking generally waits till the evening of scheduled day and changes it. I could plan on this happening, but why? UPS seems to have it right as does USPS. FedEx seems to be happy being on par with carriers such as DHL.

You walked up the stairs but left it at the door for someone to steal. I called FedEx and it took them a week to contact the delivery driver after hanging up in my face and defending the driver as opposed to giving great customer service without leaving packages out for thieves. It's unfortunate but I will tell anyone who's looking for a great delivery service to go to UPS. They give the best service and your packages will not be left unattended whatsoever. I'm now trying to get my package replaced but that's a whole other story. FedEx will never get my business again. Poor service. I wish there were no stars because they don't deserve any. I received a notification that my signature required, 2-piece, 150+ pound delivery would be delivered by the end of the day. I had to take a day off from work to ensure that I was home and available for the required delivery signature. I waited all day long at home, repeatedly checking the online status of my delivery- which never changed, by the way- until approximately 7 pm that evening. At this point I called FedEx and was informed for the first time that the delivery couldn't be completed and that it would be delivered the next day- which I will not be able to be home to receive.

At this point the customer service representative repeatedly tells me that he apologizes for my inconvenience- which I don't for one second actually believe- and tells me that he can have my delivery held at the closest FedEx-approved location- which, again, I have no reason to believe will actually happen. The vendor delivering my package included an exception stating that my delivery may not be held at a FedEx facility. Again- no reason to believe that my package will be left at their approved location. BOTTOM LINE: This is not my first issue with FedEx. I actually once had to provide their delivery manager with directions to my house- which is located less than two miles from a major highway. Absolutely pathetic. I will ALWAYS do business with any other company when I have any say in the matter. Federal Express is an absolute disgrace.

FedEx claims that a package was delivered on 11/18 at 9:30a. This was a day and time that I was home. There was no doorbell ring or knock, which is customary for all packages we've received when at home. I took my dog out a little while before 11:40a, when I again left the apartment. That's two times I walked out the door shortly after their claimed delivery time. A package was never seen. There is no other door to our apartment. We are on the third floor of a building in a gated complex. Packages sit at doors regularly for hours and even days without incident. The package was over 40" tall and over 40lbs.

After speaking with neighbors, maintenance, and management, the general consensus is that theft does not occur here, but issues with FedEx have occurred. I spoke to a FedEx Ground driver (who indicated he is the regular driver for our complex) and said it must have been a FedEx Home Delivery driver as he did not see any disputed package alerts for his route. The investigating rep at FedEx informed me that they contacted the driver in question and were told the package had been delivered correctly. I was told to contact the shipper, Balsam Hill, which I had already done and from whom I'm waiting further news of their 'investigation'. So, coming up on Christmas, I am currently out $400 and have no Christmas Tree to show for it. It seems very doubtful that the package was ever at our door at any time.

I called customer service asking if I could get the phone number to the local branch or if perhaps they could radio the driver to deliver my package which I needed. They were not able to do that. This is not the first time this has happened to me. A few months ago FedEx delivered a 50 pound box to my neighbor's home and I had to find a male who was available to carry the box to my home for me since I was unable to carry it and my female neighbor was also unable to carry it. It is their policy to "assume" that you, the consumer, have received the package and they refuse to look into it any further. I have had no problem with UPS and suggest you use them to ship & receive packages whenever possible. UPS has GREAT customer service! I, also, suggest that any time you do not receive a package FedEx and USPS say they delivered, that you file a formal complaint with each entity, call the store from which you purchased your item(s) and suggest the store use UPS instead. Then file a formal charge with your Police Department--even if the officers have a dismissive tone. Thievery is thievery... Even if a package is incompetently misdelivered.

When living in IL I was preparing to make a move and decided to take my packages elsewhere in search for low prices and better customer service. I found FedEx and was told that by using a FedEx account I could save time and money. Every time I went in, I would give them my account number and it would be quick and easy to just drop off my packages and pay with my account. I have successfully moved with all my packages, with many packages late but nothing concerning. It was a week and a half later when I went to check my online banking when I realized that a fraudulent purchase was made to my account a day earlier. This purchase was made in TN by FedEx for the amount of almost $150. Not only have I never been to TN, stopped using FedEx, and I am the only one who posses my FedEx account information.

But also after going through headache and stress because of this I came to find out through the internet that I was NOT the first one to be scammed by the FedEx company specifically in TN. This scares me in so many levels and upsets me as well especially because of how happy I was with FedEx initially. Now I don't have a reason to go back there again. I have never been so dissatisfied and upset about service given to me anywhere before. This could have potentially hurt me financially had I not caught it in time, especially because I have my credit card payment due in just a week. I think that if Fedex cared even in the slightest bit about their customers (the people who support and grow the company) that they would reach out to me, and stop this once and for all.

You know, guarantees fail sometimes. I accept that. But when a delivery is expected by 10:15 am guaranteed, and we call them flustered at 11am because we must board the train with this check on hand, the agent really should not have said "well there's nothing I can do, it's beyond my control." This has marked my typical experience with FedEx, where employees take it personally any allegation of negligence on the part of FedEx.

We had to instruct him to call the driver, get the status of delivery, and determine what the modified time of delivery is. He agreed to do that and call us back... and another 30minutes later, we call fedex back because the driver never called as agreed. We trace the truck all over again with the new agent on the phone, she claims she doesn't know when it will arrive. This is not acceptable. We relied on FedEx to get this check to hop on the train for one of the most important business transactions for my husband, and now our lives are on hold. We can't even call Amtrak to see what options exist for getting to our destination because we don't have the modified ETA.

This agent on the phone can only promise to "place a request to try to find the package, since record shows it left the Emeryville shipping center." This is not acceptable. This is a problem caused by FedEx, and it needs to be fixed by fedEx. This agent insists she didn't cause the plane delay which delayed the delivery-- why even bother saying something like that?

FedEx as a professional company needs to take formal responsibility. The manager came on the phone because the agent simply didn't know "what else to do," that manager said driver whereabouts are unknown and this he cannot give us even estimated arrival time of the envelope, other than that by end of the day today it should arrive.

FedEx advertises its service as if it's reliable, and I'm utterly shocked that when they cause an error how incompetent and apathetic the agents are in responding and actually constructively addressing the error towards resolution. I have seen this sort of issue with FedEx one too many times and I will not patronize this business for anything that requires absolute reliability like this time.

FedEx made us jump 10 too many loops just to get the case escalated to a manager who personally agreed to look into the matter and find the damn check and give us revised delivery time lest we drive to the driver ourselves since we are desperate for this envelope. No one can even find the package now, and three agents said to us it was scanned for departure and it's our problem if that's not enough information. The first agent didn't even call us back despite verbally promising to do so. Never trust a FedEx agent, they don't train their employees, they are not committed to upholding quality and integrity for the company, they may as well be hired temps for less than minimum wage off the streets.

I ordered a bicycle wheel from ebay. I payed $125 with free shipping. The shipper seller shipped item via Fedex with a tracking number. Due to some mix up by the sender, the package had 2 tracking numbers. The first was never sent so that was a bad tracking number. The other tracking number showed its full tracking details from sender to me. According to the tracking details, the package was delivered on Sep 2, 2016 pm with "Left at front door. Signature service not requested". I was not in for most of the day so when I did not see the package at the front door, I reviewed my security cameras. There was no fedex truck delivering a package to my front door anytime during the whole day.

I called fedex to inquire about the package. They sent out an "investigator" to find out what happened along with the delivery driver. I was not there to meet with either but I spoke with the "investigator" on the phone and explained how there was no package delivered and I have cameras to prove it. The investigator did his investigating, taking pictures and checking parallel streets to see if it was misdelivered. He came to the conclusion that it was driver error and that he will file the report and told me to contact sender to file a claim with them. I advised the sender to file a claim but nothing came of it. The shipper replied by saying that the package was delivered according to the tracking details and his/her job is done.

I filed a claim with ebay saying that I never received the package. They referred to the same tracking information and denied me saying the package was delivered. I filed a claim with paypal and they gave me the same response. I finally decided to file the claim with fedex. The first claim I mistakenly used the first "void" tracking number and just wasted weeks with no conclusion. Filed another claim with the correct tracking number and got denied with the same response that the tracking number shows that it was delivered. So... basically the package is delivered by scanning the package no matter where the package is.

For all I know, my wheel was delivered to the wrong doorstep or the driver kept it for himself. The key evidence here is that my 3 cameras show no fedex truck anywhere near my house at the indicated delivery time or anytime during that day. If they are denying the claim and putting their sole trust in the driver's package scan and trustful word, they are without a doubt mistaken.

Even paypal, ebay and the sender are happily satisfied with their hands washed with this "false" information. Meanwhile, I'm out $125, no purchased product, and 3 months of aggravation with no happy ending. Something to think about before buying anything from ebay/paypal and having it shipped by fedex. Based on this video evidence, fedex should fire their driver for incompetence.

The investigator that supposedly filed the investigation report should be questioned as to whether the report was really filed. The claims department should be investigated as to why the report wasn't used for the judgment. Seller, Paypal and ebay should be ashamed for putting responsibility on me but they are just relying on the fact that fedex is reputable enough to provide accurate tracking information when it's far from the truth.

When speaking to investigator, he said that the device used to scan the bar code uses cellular technology so if they were to look up the log of the scan, it would only show up as coming from the nearest cell tower. My suggestion would be that the device has gps and it sends that coordinate along with the bar code and timestamp. That way there is proof that the driver was at my doorstep for their record. As for my evidence, the cameras show that the driver lied about being at my doorstep to deliver package. Screenshot is the driver and investigator trying to figure out what happened.

I left a note on my door for my package to be delivered to the business next door. When I pulled in my driveway last night at 6:00 pm, it was sitting between my driveway and house! I have pictures of my note on my door, where my package was left and the notification from FedEx saying they left it on my porch. The drives didn't see any cars at home, so they didn't even care to go to the front door! Cause if they had... they would have seen my note!! This was a Christmas gift! I live in Blytheville, AR... ANYONE could have taken it!!! I am VERY MUCH UPSET on how FedEx handled my package and does not care!!!

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. If I could give no stars at all, I would. Ordered a piece of furniture. The company I used ships through FedEx. Furniture should never be shipped via FedEx. Had to hire someone to get item from curb to house. FedEx only delivers to the curb. FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays where getting help was easier when those who I could get to help were not working. Customer service was rude and had "that's your problem not ours" attitude. Told company I ordered from to find another company to use for shipping.

Order furniture before from others via internet and it was delivered inside my house. FedEx would not even deliver into my driveway. Not a customer friendly company. Will never use FedEx for shipping as they are not helpful to the recipients. Makes the company where I ordered the furniture from look bad. They were not happy either. USPS is the best so far with UPS second. I order via the internet all the time. In the future, I will find out who the delivery company is first.

Whoever delivered my package from FedEx didn't even bother knocking or ringing the doorbell. My dad and I were home when I received an email saying my package was delivered. I investigated and found the package on my front porch. When I checked what time it stated in the email that it had been delivered it stated it had been 12:48 pm and it had been 1:20 pm at the time. I was upset by this because they didn't bother knocking or anything to let us know that either someone was there or a package was delivered.

In my neighborhood packages that are left unattended on the porch can and will be stolen. Considering I paid for this product and expected that FedEx would ensure it would reach my hands I was angered. In the half hour that it had been on the porch it could have been taken as quietly as it arrived, considering my dog didn't even bark or make an indication someone had been at the door. I am unimpressed with FedEx and will refrain from using them for any further shipments onward.

We were scheduled for a delivery of 500 lbs of building materials. We asked that we be given a call 30 minutes ahead of delivery so we could have plenty of help there to unload. Delivery person did not call ahead. When I asked him why, he said he wasn't told to and he would call his supervisor to find out why he was not told to call ahead. I was home and my husband was on his way. The delivery guy told me he had another delivery 4 minutes away and would return in about 20 minutes and should get back the same time my husband arrived.

I repeated 3 times - "you will be back in 20 minutes correct?" And he said "yes". He flat out lied to my face. My son and his girlfriend also came to help. We all waited well over an hour for his return. The driver did not return. I called FedEx and they said they had put us in another window and would come back later in day when everyone who had come to help had to be back at work. I had 4 adults to unload, so they totally wasted well over 2 hours of our time. I would never use them for a shipment again. I ship thousands of lbs or freight through my business each year. That is why we use Yellow Freight.

You guessed it.

So I call again Monday I get wa wa wa it has the wrong apt number and still isn't being delivered. 5 calls already and they call me finally Monday afternoon saying I need to call them to verify an address. OMG seriously. So by now I'm livid and their excuse is it had apt 35 instead of 45 when I have an account linked with my address so this is all bogus excuses and they don't care that I canceled my family get together on my one holiday and then I cancel a doctor appointment on Monday and now Tuesday I need to be home. I live in a very safe area and was home all day, the weather was in the 70's. Earlier today it said the package was once again out for delivery to arrive by the end of the day Saturday. I just logged in again and now it says no delivery date available. The hub where the package is coming from is 25 minutes away. When I called customer support to see if any clarification was available the CSR could barely speak english and was impossible to understand. All she could get across is that it was out for delivery. Unbelievably poor communication.

Obviously either the driver did not want to make the drive or was given more work than he/she could handle. Security exception? Weather exception? Are you serious? Just tell me the truth and say you're sorry. And then to get a CSR who could barely speak english? My customers certainly wouldn't put up with this. We ship many packages a day in my business via UPS - never a problem. Really disappointing. Not the employee's fault. This is a management issue.

His truck is secure and so is he. On this day I had important package coming and it was coming by FedEx. The driver was excellent. He had took the time to call me on my cellphone. I am thinking that all drivers have their own routine... But this young man took the time to call. I ordered a package for my brother's birthday two weeks ago from out of the country. There was a delay but it was shipped on the Tuesday before his birthday (on Saturday). I had my choice of shipping services and stupidly decided to try FedEx. Well, I paid extra for the package and had them send it via express so I could have it as soon as possible. I received a scheduled delivery time of Friday, 11/4. I was at work late on Friday but had someone home to answer the door when my package was supposed to arrive. It never did. I wake up Saturday morning, only to see that my package has been rescheduled for Monday, two days after I need it. I called FedEx customer service, had difficulty understanding the accent of the agent on the line, and was told that because it was in transit, I couldn't do anything about it and I had to wait until Monday.

No apologies or consideration from the agent. Either they won't or don't deliver it on Saturday, unlike their competition. Perfect. What a waste of money. I could've gone with DHL or UPS, two companies I've had fairly good experiences with, instead of getting screwed by incompetence. My brother is only in town today, and then he has to leave to prepare for a business trip. I won't see him for a month, at least, and this coat is not going to be of any use of him after he gets back. I am never using FedEx again, and will be going out of my way to recommend to all of my friends and coworkers to avoid them, if they want to get their packages on time.

We are a business out of KC that has been very blessed over the past few years and we ship out furniture and decorative items across the US. We left UPS several years back, due to very poor customer service and because they were breaking Ground shipping items at an alarming rate, but yet wouldn't reimburse us or our customers for the packages and contents broken. So... We decided to go with FedEx. We loved their services at first, and were promised all types of gadgets and devices to help our business become more successful with shipping (label makers, scanners, etc). Not only did we never receive anything and still haven't, but in 5 years have never been given an account rep/business rep/ or manager to help us with questions or anything (most other couriers assign you a rep to help you become more successful and get better rates).

At first they sent us a packing rep, who helped us order packing supplies for our items, so we did and pack to their standards... but it is funny, if anything gets broken, they won't reimburse us... unless it is a very cheap $100 item. We find their customer service also very poor and they won't return calls, emails, or anything. This is very frustrating, because we probably spend between $10-20,000 in Ground shipping items each year.

Sadly, we are leaving Fedex and strongly recommend any small business, large business, or just a customer looking to ship an item, to find a local or independent courier that respects and appreciates their customers more than FedEx or UPS. Both companies talk big and pay for good advertising, but if you read their online ratings... they are both truly awful. They love taking your money, but will not support you when things go wrong. Our business has a 5 star rating and we appreciate every customer that orders from us... Can't say the same for large shipping companies like Fedex. It is a shame. :(

I requested to have my package shipped Nov 1st at 1pm. I called 4 days in a row to confirm that I will be getting my package on the day that I requested. Each sales rep I spoke to assured me. I spoke to numerous sales reps who said they put a note on my shipment to have it delayed to Nov. 1st at 1pm. Needless to say, I get a phone call on Oct 31st from the delivery driver that he is waiting for someone to let him inside so he can bring the package up. Mind you, the address I am having the packaged shipped to is my new address and I will be moving in on Nov 1st.

I scheduled several deliveries for that day including the one I am suppose to receive from FedEx. I had to call FedEx again for the fifth day in a row and tell them that they MADE A BIG MISTAKE. I spoke to 3 different sales representatives because each one wanted to keep me on hold for 30 minutes. The last sales rep I spoke told me that Wayfair misinformed me that I could make a time request on my package when in fact FedEx were the ones who told me that I could. FedEx does not want to own up to their mistakes. They put blame on everyone else. Now, on the day that I am moving and expecting multiple deliveries to my new apartment, I have to travel to pick up a package at a local FedEx on Nov 1st. MY PACKAGE BETTER BE THERE FEDEX!

I don't understand why after you were the ones who misinformed me, could not simply bring my package on the time that I requested. I understand that is not the norm for ground shipping, but you told me you would the first 4 times I called to confirm, yet on the 5th time you want to change your minds. I am very disappointed in the lack of great customer service skills and the finger pointing that goes on in your company. The best thing to do was to send my package the time I requested as an apology for your mistake. Now you are inconveniencing me on a very big day for me. Wayfair, please choose a different delivery carrier. FedEx is super unprofessional and they are so disgusting to you when you have a problem that is caused by them. They treat you as if your life is nothing and you don't have other important things to do.

I have never written a negative review in my life, but I am strongly compelled to do so now. I wish I could even say this was terrible service, but I can't even say that, as I haven't actually received any service at all! This is the third time that FedEx has claimed a delivery attempt, but has not actually done so. On three separate orders, I have received a message from FedEx via the seller that a delivery attempt was made, but never once, on a total of 7 supposed attempts, has a delivery attempt tag been left on my door. On two of those occasions, I was actually home, and no one knocked or rang the doorbell.

Furthermore, when speaking with customer service, they insisted that the package wasn't delivered because I wasn't home. In fact, I WAS HOME on multiple occasions. However, the package did not require a signature, so it should have been left in any case. When I mention that, they say didn't have an explanation. Furthermore, I have a porch, and the package wasn't left there. Finally, I went to the distribution center on Poth and spoke to a manager, who assured me that he would leave notes on my address and that this would never happen again. Well, it has.

I have spent a total of 10 hours of my own time trying to sort this out, hours talking to customer services reps, and sending pictures of my home entrance to verify that it is clearly marked and accessible. Still, no one seems to be able to help me solve the problem, which shouldn't be that difficult. All other delivery services, USPS, UPS etc.have no problem delivering. It is just FedEx that cannot competently leave me a package. Unfortunately, I can no longer use FedEx for personal or business reasons, nor can I patronize businesses that use FedEx, as I will never receive my orders. I will have to inform these businesses why. Not only is FedEx hurting themselves, but also other businesses. In the end, I am mystified by this, and in fact suspect that they aren't even trying to deliver my package. Frankly, they can't seem to be trusted. Better take your business elsewhere.

I used FedEx to ship a Asus Chromebook back to Asus for repair. I shipped the Chromebook through FedEx at an OfficeMax store in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They packaged it and transported it. When Asus received it, the body was dented and the screen was smashed in the lower left corner. When I contacted FedEx to file a claim I was told that OfficeMax would have to file the claim because they were the customers. After some trouble I got OfficeMax to file the claim. FedEx approved the claim and mailed a 100.00 check to the OfficeMax corporate office in Boca Raton Florida. Don't forget. I'm in Illinois.

When I spoke to Cameron, the OfficeMax manager, he told me that I MIGHT get the check in six to eight weeks. He also told me that the damage to the package was not their fault. So I get stiffed for a 250.00 Chromebook and OfficeMax gets an extra 100.00 out of the deal for damaging my Chromebook. How is it that FedEx underinsures merchandise then requires the customer to go through a third party (OfficeMax) to file a claim, and then issue a claim check to the third party and not the customer and then say they are done with the issue leaving the customer to deal with the third party to get the claim check.

I called FedEx and offered to pay for customs or have the package delivered and the recipient will pay for it, but they refused. I asked to have the package returned and they asked me to create a FedEx account, add my credit card to the account so they can charge me to return it. after a month. They said I need to write a letter to Morocco's customs. I did and wait for another month.

Later I got an email from FedEx contractor asking for more info. I kept calling FedEx and emailing their third party contractor in Morocco for over 5 months. Then I got an email saying I have to pay for customs, late fees, storage charges and clearness charges which total over $400. I called customer care and I explained to them that the package was worth $900 and I paid $130 and now I have to pay more to ship it back and pay $500 for delay that they caused. I got nothing back. they hang up on me.

I am writing about my recent experience with a FedEx delivery of medical equipment for my husband who has just undergone a total knee replacement and is in considerable pain. The package (tracking number **) was sent out to me on Tuesday, October 11, for two to three day delivery. Thus, the package was expected by Friday, October 14 at the latest.

When the package did not come on Friday, we phoned FedEX consumer affairs department on Saturday to make sure the package would be delivered on Saturday. We were assured that it would be delivered. However nice the representative was to us, the package was not delivered because it was marked as a business delivery. We subsequently learned, however, that FedEX reported that on Friday "future delivery" had been requested. Presumably this was the supposed reason why the package was not delivered to me on Friday. We never requested a delay in the delivery date -- so this was untruthful. Then on Saturday, FedEX shipping records indicated that "we were not available" for delivery. This was also untruthful as we were available for delivery. We were informed today that as the package shipping was changed to 'home delivery' we would not receive the package on Monday, as we had been promised.

It appears that the false information and poor service we received was in part due to a lack of good information provided to FedEx customer service representatives and, likely, total inefficiency at the Broomfield, Colorado shipping office. Now after several telephone calls to customer representatives, we can only hope that the equipment we purchased will come in time to be some small use for my husband's recovery.

The sender mailed a package to me containing a full bottle of my prescription. He said that he had a difficult time with the woman who took his information, but after having to correct her several times in spelling, etc., he was able to confirm the shipping address to be correct. However, between him leaving the store and the package being delivered, the address was completely messed up and not even close to the original correct one. It's been a month now and after speaking to numerous representatives and "managers", we've been told that we have to pay all over again and open up a special FedEx account.

Is there not any other option than to give this company more money and open another account? We were told several different things, but I think it was just to get us off the phone. I was told it was delivered back to the sender, which is a lie. Then I was told it was delivered to me. That was a lie, too. Then, we finally get the information that they will not send it to anyone, they will keep it until we pay and make a special account. I'm wondering if I should file a police report, since I'm not sure how FedEx can claim ownership of someone's medication and property or hold it hostage until I give them more money and open an account with them.

INSTEAD HE DROVE AROUND WITH MY PACKAGE ON HIS TRUCK ALL DAY AND THEN BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE DEPOT. I tracked my package throughout the day and the page stated that it was on the vehicle for delivery. Then at 6:30 I checked the tracking page again and it stated my package was brought back at 5:40 pm!!!

Completely frustrated I spoke with a supervisor named, Kam **, who reassured me saying the package would be delivered the next morning. It is now 1:40 and still no sign of a package. I looked over my entire property, etc. and no package. Contacted FedEx regarding this issue and they stated the driver would have to re-track his steps to find my package and get it to me. I contacted them again the following week and no information was available, and they don't know where my package is.

As I was going to class I noticed my neighbor had a package on his porch and I was very sure it was mine. Contacted FedEx to make them aware of this so they could have a driver come back out and verify this, and deliver the package to me. They kept telling me the driver was coming and he never did. I was so stressed by this. My final call ended with their representative contacting the merchant to ask him to refund my money and start his process of being refunded by FedEx because they never delivered my package to me.

I am not sure why companies continue to use FedEx when they are not responsible nor do they have reliable drivers who care about the customers. This company has terrible reviews from every spectrum of its existence and services. Merchants please do not use this company and use a more reliable and professional delivery service.

UPS has an opt out and they deliver to the door. I can't understand, the carrier goes to my door and leaves a note. Why in the hell can't he deliver the package as he is at the door. This is discrimination. I have notified all my vendors of Fedex's position and am posting on every site I can think of. I have advised the leasing office to refuse every shipment addressed to me from FedEx. This is poor service. But there are other choices. Shame on you FedEx.

The FedEx driver didn't want to deliver my package because it weighed 50 pounds. I live on the third floor of an apartment building. The first "delivery attempt", he buzzed my apartment, then went straight back to the truck before I could answer. He left the package on the truck and said I wasn't home. After a bunch of phone calls, I finally reached someone who spoke English. He said my package would be delivered to my apartment door on the third floor the next day. I waited by the window, watching for him the next day so I could buzz him in immediately. I buzzed him in and he left the package right inside the main door and left.

After a bunch more phone calls, I was told he didn't want to bring it up the stairs and he "didn't have to". How do you expect a disabled woman to drag a 50 pound box up to the third floor? He had a dolly. He could have done it easily. So, after a bunch more phone calls I was able to reach someone I could halfway understand. He told me the driver would be back to bring the box up the stairs. He never came back. So my package is STILL sitting right inside the door at the bottom of the stairs.

If FedEx driver are supposed to be ninja, they are on a league of their own; but for delivery driver, they are the worst. Every single time I am home expecting a heavy package (a package worth my time waiting on) FedEx drivers would either ninja to my side door and leave a blank note saying nobody was home or just take it to the next level and leave the door tag in my mailbox. So either FedEx drivers think they have ESP-like power and determine if anyone was on from their truck or they are just too lazy to actually make the delivery.

I've been waiting in the living room (where the front door is) since 8 in the morning. I see that people here are also frustrated at FedEx. I suspect the problem lies on the fact that we are not FedEx's direct customers, FedEx's customer are the ones paying for their services, the online merchants. We the consumers just have to pressure the merchants to stop using FedEx (ask them to use other mean of shipping, or choose vendors offering options beside FedEx). Businesses typically don't response unless it affect their revenue.

Very important package so I asked two neighbors to text me if they see a FedEx truck so I could meet the driver at the driveway. No FedEx truck ever came through my neighborhood yet the driver listed me as attempt to deliver. With no new door tag it is pretty obvious that no attempt was made however the London hub does not require a door tag with each attempt so how do you hold your drivers accountable? FedEx is only as good as their drivers and not holding them accountable encourages them to lie. In London Ky FedEx drivers can sit alongside the road and sleep and then list customers as attempt to deliver and management will say nothing. From this point I will not deal with any business that uses FedEx to deliver. Management needs to be more involved with customer service.

The type of customer support I have received from FedEx in Houston, TX have ranged from very pleasant all the way to unbelievably unsatisfactory. To start with the positives: the 5 packages I have sent this past year have all made it to the recipients. Glad to be able to say that, but really, that's about all the positives there are. Oh, and there's that one time the person at the counter was actually smiling and very courteous, which was quite pleasant and a nice surprise. Continuing with the cons: I had issues with 3 of these 5 packages in some step of the shipment process. Let me elaborate...

At the beginning of this year, I tried to use a coupon I found off the FedEx website, a clearly advertised coupon right on the FedEx front page. It has the checkout code and everything right on the coupon, begging to be used by everyone. No problems to expect there right? Well, when I showed the coupon to the person checking me out, I was told that I needed a paper copy of it. Alright, never heard of that before, but I'll work with it. They can't just enter the code? (No). Okay, can they just print out a copy of the coupon from their own website then? (No.) Okay, they wanted me to screenshot a copy of the coupon on my phone and then email that screenshot image to them. Then they proceeded to print out that copy from their email and enter the checkout code. A what would have been 5 minutes of service ended up being 20 minutes. Okay, whatever...

Next mishap I encountered: I sent a package to a friend who lives in a clearly marked house on a street in a neighborhood. The shipment tracking information showed that the driver "could not locate the address" the first two or three times he "attempted delivery." A couple days later, I receive a call from FedEx asking for my friend's phone number. Eventually, the package got delivered. I'll just give them the driver the benefit of the doubt and say it's an honest try. But seriously! The address was easily locatable on google maps. If it was that difficult to deliver to such an easy destination, I wonder how FedEx ever gets their packages delivered! I better stop using FedEx while I still haven't lost any packages with them.

This last encounter is the needle that broke the camel's back: I sent a package to a friend in mid-June, and it is now October. I paid close to $30 at the counter for the shipping. A couple days ago (3+ months after the shipment), I received a bill from FedEx with a sheet of paper insert stating that they were "unable to bill the account for the party indicated, therefore we are invoicing you for the charges associated with this shipment." Yes, THREE months after the shipment, I received an invoice for a package I already paid for on the spot, with the "payment" due in 1.5 weeks.

I called the number for "Revenue Services" and went through layers and layers of options before I finally got an operator. Luckily, this operator was quite helpful in somehow realizing that I had already paid for this shipment and removed the charge. (I'll find out how true this is in a couple days). Well, it would be good for me to know what caused this error to occur, so I don't have to deal with this again. So, I proceed to ask, "Could you tell me why this happened?" Immediately after I finish asking this question, the person helping me just hangs up! He asked me for my question, and then just hung up on me after I asked it! I was in total disbelief that customer service could be so rude.

FedEx just lost another customer and whoever else I talk to about my encounters. There is no way I would recommend their services to anyone. My experiences with UPS and even USPS have been better than this! FedEx is far too expensive to have services worse than the more affordable mail carriers. To be honest, I'm not sure how FedEx is even in operation if customers cannot even trust them with the simplest of tasks.

They have been completely unhelpful and now told me that the only way to avoid the collection agency is to transfer the TVA to the recipient. So this now appears as a whole lot of logistics work for me when a return/repair item, originally manufactured in France should not be charged TVA duties at all as it is sent back for repair. It would be nice if someone from FedEx actually gave some assistance rather than threatening with the Debt Collection Agency as the first step.

Fortunately, my neighbor brought it over to me the next day. Seems the deliver person was afraid of my 10 year old Aussie. Today, I expected two deliveries according to their tracking site. The driver arrived a little after 3 pm, then pulled away. Never came to the door. They marked my package as undeliverable customer not home. The second package was supposed to be here before 7 pm. When I called about it they informed me that their tracking site was incorrect. So basically I rearranged my day for nothing and I'll have to do it all again when they decide it's a good time to deliver my packages.
