FedEx Poland was highly unprofessional. They tried to deliver twice without notice and decided they did their part, then asked me to come pick up my package in their Stacja, 3h away from my place. They lied several times, on the phone, about coming a 3rd and 4th time. The phone employees are rude and clearly do not understand English. I had to declare my package as 'lost' because I was not able to make it to their office. Highly rude, unprofessional and disrespectful company. Delivery fee was more than 5 euros and I never received my package. Outrageous.

At my apartment building it's the same old thing with FedEx. I'm waiting for an Amazon delivery by FedEx and I go to the lobby and there's the sticky note on the door. Did the driver attempt to ring the doorbell? NOPE! They always leave a sticky note that the package can be picked up after 6 p.m. across the city of Seattle. Then you go to computer and it says the "business was closed" and that they'll attempt delivery the next business day (Monday).

The FedEx drivers are lazy and delivering packages to residential areas are not where it's at with them. They leave notes on our doors without any intent of delivering the parcels then off they go to deliver the packages at the businesses and offices so they can empty their truck as quickly as possible. Does USPS have a problem? NOPE! Does UPS have a problem? NOPE! Does Amazon Logistics? NOPE! How's about DHL? NOPE! I've sent a request through my Amazon Prime Membership that NONE of my orders are to be shipped by FedEx--NONE!

I was expecting 5 packages from across the country, all food. They were out on vehicle for delivery. Ok. No one showed up. After 8 pm it then said delivery exception. 1. Security issue. 2. No one home or business closed. What? There were no security issues. We were waiting all day. It was raining that is all... when I called. They gave same excuses I see listed here. They said an attempt was scanned in. There was no attempts made. Then said there was a security issue? What? The rain? Then they said case closed. My food delivered 2 days after scheduled delivery... They are liars and thieves. But I had no choice of delivery services, just FedEx. And the ups guy arrived on time. So did the USPS guy.

They ALWAYS have technical issues. Horrible customer service. Never willing to own up to their mistakes. Untrustworthy delivery drivers. Drivers are never on time. I will never use them again. They claimed I scheduled a pickup from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm when our loading dock closes at 4 pm. I even have my confirmation sheet stating I scheduled it from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. They did not want me to forward them my confirmation sheet but instead they just based my claim off of the incorrect information they had. They were not willing to fix the issue when it could have been fixed. Everyone I spoke to were so rude and had an attitude. FedEx is a horrible company to send packages or schedule a pickup from them.

FedEx has to be the absolute WORST courier out there. They have a system that doesn't work. You go online, create your label and set up your pickup and no one shows up. Then you call and of course no one speaks English as their first language making communicating very difficult. Then they tell you that it will next day for a pick up.

Now UPS, Purolator... you call them by 2pm and they are there same day... doesn't matter what your shipping or how. IN WHAT WORLD does a courier company think it is ok to schedule a pickup 24 hours later? How is that good customer service... So first you don't pick up my parcel... And then when I call to straighten it out I have to wait another 24 hours before someone will come and get it... And their so called customer service reps have nothing for you... In broken English all I keep getting is, "Sorry we schedule pickups next day... Sorry you can drop it off..." I would rather stick a fork in my eye then use their sub par, non-customer service based service. Why our customers spec them as the company to ship their products to them is beyond me. I wouldn't even give them a star. USELESS company.

Then, after wasting time complaining, they try to blame me... "Did you look under the furniture?" "Did a neighbor get it?" FedEx is the worst company we’ve ever had to deal with. We moved about a year ago and we started noticing that all our packages that were supposed to be delivered by FedEx never arrived even though we were getting emails saying that they arrived. After purchasing a Nest we finally l realize the issue. Of course we discovered the issue and not FedEx. The issue was for whatever reason FedEx was sending our packages that were addressed to our current address back to where we lived over year ago and they were unable to track the packages or find them. We finally realize the problem.

They told us it was taken care of and it was not. We had a very expensive package that again we never received. We called for days to try to rectify this problem and to date it is still not been rectified. It is very frustrating dealing with people who are incompetent, unprofessional and all they know how to do Is transfer you to another department who also can assist. If you are a business owner my suggestion is to use another carrier. Do not use FedEx.

I had a shipment that was supposed to get to my cousin at 10am in Texas, paid extra for this and they tell you about "The money back guarantee" thing. After waiting till 12 midday with no delivery, she eventually called FedEx at 1pm to ask for delivery by 5pm, she had to cancel a flight and left for a work shift which she missed already. At 3pm, FedEx still went ahead and made a delivery attempt, we kept calling and eventually she ended up going to the office to pick this said package up.

I called complaining and I was told to call the revenue department after 5 days for a refund. I called again after over 5days and spoke to a "Vanessa" at the revenue department who started with an defense about how they made an attempt for delivery and no one was home, Blah Blah Blah. These guys were supposed to deliver this shipment at 10am, so why is she making claims for delivery that is so late. She then switched to say my cousin had called in and that's why the package was late. She tried putting up all the defense she could just to avoid refund, I guess that's how they were trained. Don't believe a thing about any money back guarantee delivery, service is not worth it. I hope someone from the management sees this and for reference, here is the tracking; **.

I ordered 4 dining chairs & a dining bench on March 1st. A week after I was given my tracking number & for FedEx to receive my package. As I was tracking it online it wasn’t giving me a history/update but said my package would be delayed for March 19th which I’m supposed to get it delivered by March 18th. Then on the day of delivery finally got an update status will be delivered by end of the day on March 18th. I had been anticipating on my dining chairs for the last two weeks then I get a text @6:57pm that it was delivered in person without signature @6:25pm. Which I thought was weird because no one knocked or rang my doorbell.

So I opened my front door and looked around. No package. I had to call FedEx to make a claim & for them to investigate. The FedEx driver delivered it to the wrong address and gave to to the wrong person. I think it’s very irresponsible that it’s not a FedEx routine to photo ID a person or to confirm the name & address or require a signature. I am very upset with their services. Now I have to reorder again and won’t be delivered till March 29th.

Our deliveries are the last area on our driver's route, so if he's running late, which is almost all the time, he just goes home and doesn't deliver our packages. Most of our packages don't get delivered until 10 to 14 days AFTER the scheduled delivery date. Sometimes they never show up at all. We've had two incidents where the driver rerouted our packages to an address in another state, just to be vindictive because we complained about not getting our deliveries. This is the worst shipping service on the planet.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a long-time Fedex customer to detail a horrible experience I recently had with your service. On 1/17/19 I paid to ship a small package (Tracking # **) to an art gallery in Chicago, from a Fedex store also in Chicago. The package was never delivered. Despite the delivery location having a very obvious parcel drop, and despite my marking “No Signature Required” the parcel was not left as intended and instead was brought to the Skokie, IL facility. My assistant called and asked that it be returned; the Fedex employee she spoke to confirmed the return address and said it was on its way.

In truth, that was not the case. The package was (again) not delivered to the intended recipient (me, this time). Instead, it was shipped to a supposed “Lost and Found” facility in Olive Branch, MS. I was not notified. Today, 3/14/19, I called regarding the missing package. The first customer service rep transferred me to a second; the second informed me the package was in fact in IL (which was incorrect, as I would later find out) and told me that there was nothing she could do for me. I, however, could pay to have the package shipped back to me, or file a claim for monetary reimbursement of the package.

Let’s recap: I paid to have the package delivered in Chicago, from Chicago. That never happened. Why the driver didn’t leave it in the parcel area is beyond me. I then requested it be sent back to my address in Chicago from Skokie, IL. I was told no problem. The package is then sent to MS (although this young lady said it was Olive Branch, IL. No such place). As far as filing a claim; while I would be more than happy to pursue this avenue, the package in question was a piece of art whose value is not easily identified. Similar pieces have sold for upwards of $2700, so if Fedex is prepared to pay out a similar dollar value, I will gladly file a claim. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told I didn’t need to.

A word of advice: This is not an acceptable response from an employee. I am not asking for their opinion; I am asking for a manager. I explained as much, and wouldn’t you know it, she put me through to a manager. It is here I had the extreme displeasure of talking to Oscar ** in your El Paso branch. I sincerely encourage you to review my call with Mr. Oscar ** and determine if he really has a place in your organization. It is both my personal and professional opinion that he might be better suited to a job that doesn’t require him to interact with your customers. Lying to them (we’ll get to that in a minute) and doing the bare minimum, not to mention failing to recognize, as a manager, a major customer service issue, is a major problem.

I explained the situation to Oscar ** in El Paso and explained how unhappy I was that I had now paid to ship a package that had never been delivered (and whose absence cost me to miss a major deadline, not to mention who knows how much in revenue). I explained I was a longtime Fedex customer, and that, more importantly, the billion dollar company I work for is a major Fedex customer. I also explained that I would be happy to go to the Skokie, IL office and pick my package up.

Oscar ** then informed me that there was nothing he could do. This is supposedly someone you trust with the title of manager. Consider employing someone who recognizes a major customer service issue when they see one; Oscar ** does not. I asked Oscar to take a step back and consider, for a moment, how I, your customer was currently feeling: Not only did I pay for your company to deliver a package (a task which was never completed), not only was I told it could easily be returned to me (it couldn’t and wasn’t), but your organization was now trying to ransom my own package back to me! Telling me to pay to ship it from one of your facilities to another one of your facilities!

Oscar became flippant and glib; it wasn’t his fault, there was nothing he could do, etc. etc. etc. He made no effort to help. He made no effort to provide me with a further channel of communication. And this is where things truly took a turn for the unusual. When I asked for Oscar’s boss, Oscar ** informed me that he, a customer service manager in El Paso, Texas, had no boss. Wow! Fedex must be the flattest corporate structure ever! Incredible! I asked him again. Oscar ** then informed me he answered directly to the Vice President of Fedex! Wow! Incredible! Oscar, a customer service manager in El Paso Texas, answers directly to Robert B. Carter, Executive Vice President and CIO!

When I expressed my disbelief that Oscar ** did not, in fact, directly answer to Robert Carter (or Alan Graf Jr.), Oscar ** then changed his story. He said that his answer was partially true, as he worked for “corporate.” I did not have the heart to tell Oscar that, as Fedex is a corporation, everyone that works there answers “to corporate.” Again I asked Oscar ** for his direct supervisor’s number at “corporate” and Oscar informed me that “the corporate offices don’t have phones.”

This was a truly enlightening call, let me tell you. Not only does Fedex have the flattest corporate structure on the planet, not only does **, customer service manager of the El Paso, Texas office, answer directly to the Vice President of Fedex, but you guys manage to do it all without phones in the corporate office. Someone should call the Wall Street Journal; Fedex is truly an anomaly in modern times! (It took Google 1.07 seconds to return a number for Fedex Corporate: 901-369-3600).

I’ll admit, at this point in the call, it was a little hard for me to maintain my composure. Though I didn’t swear or yell, I did tell Oscar that he might consider brushing up his resume, and I asked for his name. I think Oscar ** realized, at this point, that he may have reported some inaccuracies, because he began to play the always-fun-for-your-paying-customers game of, “Are you going to let me finish speaking?”

Every time I would ask Oscar ** from the El Paso, Texas office what his first name and last initial were, he would cut me off and say “Are you going to let me finish speaking?” Eventually though, through some persistence, I got the information I was looking for. Oscar’s last snide comment, before I disconnected the call? “Why don’t you write a letter?” Well Oscar ** from the El Paso, Texas office, this one’s for you.

I needed to get some documents, for a court case, from Blue Bell, PA to Halifax overnight. I used FedEx International Priority. I did not notice until the next day that the delivery time said 3 days (my mistake). Why on earth would it take 3 days to get a package from Blue Bell (just outside of Philadelphia) to Halifax, when I can drive there in about 17 hours? A flight takes about 4-1/2. I ship FedEx Priority to California, which is 3 times farther away than Halifax, and it arrives overnight. I was astounded! I have clients who FedEx me items overnight from Canada and they arrive next day. And, when I called FedEx to ask why it was going to take so long, they did not have an answer. I suggested to them that they make it much cleared on the website that it takes 3 days to get a shipment less than 1,000 miles.

This is not my first issue with FedEx. Just last month I shipped with them (within the US) and they misplaced one of our packages for about 4 days. It contained marketing displays for a conference. My coworkers were at the conference, but had nothing to display. The package arrived two days after the conference ended and they had the audacity to charge me for the delivery. If you notice their advertising, they no longer use the slogan "When it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight." That's because they can't deliver that service with any type of consistency.

When scheduled told the service rep that the package would be at side of building at the roll up garage door! Also all 15 employees were on the property. I should also mention that there are 4 separate video cameras watching the roadway in front. Two times in two days the courier/driver used the same excuse when there were employees present, and no employee saw a FEDEX vehicle come near the business. I am at a loss on how to explain that they are still in the package delivery business! BOTTOM LINE USE A DIFFERENT CARRIER.

Package had arrived to Alaska and sat in Anchorage, AK warehouse since Friday to late Monday before it got transferred to USPS for final delivery. FedEx must not pay enough to USPS so the package continues with a fast speed. Now USPS is estimating a delivery time to me in 4 days, that would be 10 days shipping time! If FedEx is not able to deliver it within the time frame, they shouldn't take the job, let UPS take care of it! FedEx is trying to make me feel bad because it's them but not me paying USPS for the final delivery, even though I already paid 2 day Express shipping to FedEx for the complete route from Clearwater, FL to Delta Junction, AK. If you count Thursday that's 6 days/5 business days which is ridiculous since I NEED MY PHONE FOR WORK. I can't get a refund since technically my item was expensive enough for free 2-day shipping only it's not, it's 1-week shipping. This is definitely not the first time with them. When I browse the web, I run a couple of "blocker" solutions: a third-party tracking cookie blocker, and a lightweight proxy which blocks all third-party embedded/forwarded content (which is typically advertising, which in my experience can contain malware and which has caused me no end of trouble in the past). Note that this does not block cookies set by a site itself for its own purposes (such as remembering who I am and/or whether I am "logged in", etc), nor does it block advertising hosted/served by the site itself (which would presumably be vetted by the site before they host/serve it, so they don't end up effectively becoming a "malware site" with all the ensuing consequences).

Just in the past day or so, https://www.fedex.com has completely quit working for me. I have all tracking cookies set by www.fedex.com blocked, but my proxy reports www.fedex.com is trying to access all of the following sites, simply in the process of serving FedEx parcel tracking information: fls.doubleclick.net, www.google-analytics.com, statse.webtrendslive.com, adservice.google.com, sb.scorecardresearch.com.

Note that the above do NOT appear to be cookies, they appear to be actual third-party web content that www.fedex.com is embedding in its own content or is attempting to forward me through in the process of serving their own content (all of which I presume is intended to serve a purpose similar to that of a tracking cookie). This is the first time I have seen this. This is unusually invasive, and implemented in an unusual fashion, to the point that my security measures effectively disable www.fedex.com completely (and in fact www.fedex.com times out, which is not the case with the entire rest of the legitimate web). Additionally, when I temporarily disable my proxy, www.fedex.com "works".

I take a dim view of this. Apparently FedEx believes it is entitled to know my browsing habits and to make use of me and my equipment for their own purposes without my knowledge or consent, and without compensating me... AND they appear to be attempting to circumvent conventional tracking cookie blocker measures using these tricks. I will be contacting all of my suppliers to find out which of them offer carriers BESIDES FedEx, and in cases where a supplier does not, I will change suppliers (or in the last resort simply do without parcel tracking). I feel the consumer public should be made aware of these strange measures being inflicted by FedEx. Hopefully this provides some useful information, and is helpful.

FedEx is hands down the worst shipping provider I have ever dealt with. Their delivery staff is lazy and will not even attempt to deliver a package. I have left more than one signed tag for a delivery for it still to be sent back to the warehouse. One instance I was waiting for a package from Amazon and unfortunately FedEx was delivering my package. I go check my mailroom about 1015am and there is nothing there, no package or no slip. Two hours later I get a notification that delivery was unsuccessful as no one was home...I go to the mail room and there is a slip saying resident was not home with a time of 1000am.

Another instance I talked with customer service three times, I had two signed slips and special instructions for delivery entered, on top of that I had a handwritten note saying to LEAVE THE PACKAGE IF NOT HOME. I also signed that. SO two signed FedEx slips, notes from customer service, and a handwritten note to the delivery. I never got the package, customer service just said that the drop off location was not appropriate to leave the package (This is while there are packages from every other shipping co in the mail room! Even had packages left from other carriers already there!).

Long and short of it is that FedEx is the worst package delivery service. When I order from Amazon (I do a lot) I loathe to see that my package is being handled by FedEx. I just assume that I will not get that package from the get go. Honestly I think that since I am in a Condo complex the drivers are too lazy to carry the package to the mail room and just leave slips that delivery was unsuccessful. I have even had drivers try to scratch out the signature area in the missed delivery slip so I cant sign for it (this even happens for packages that specifically do NOT need a sig to leave per customer service). FedEx is a garbage company. Do not ship packages with FedEx. If possible do no business with FedEx. Do not invest in FedEx, if you have then please sell your stock. There is no reason for this company to still exist. Even Amazon's delivery with random people dropping stuff off like Uber Eats is much better than FedEx.

I am located in California and the shipment was sent from another California store. I got a notification saying that my package would be delivered on Friday (two days from delivery date). My husband and I were both home all day and were waiting for our package to arrive. At 11:30 am I get a notification saying there was an exception due to a customer not being available or business closed.

Now, we live in a gated community so I would understand if it was a gate issue. However, we have never had issues with a delivery truck coming in. When we left the house around noon, we saw a FedEx truck (which I’m assuming was not the one carrying my package) come in through the gate to deliver to someone else’s condo in my complex. An update from FedEx said that the package would be delivered the next day (Saturday). Again, we waited and again our package’s status changed to “delivery exception. Customer not available/business closed”??? Two days with a delivery exception and location is still the city over. I downloaded the app to keep better track of my shipment and noticed there was a door tag ID listed. We never got a door tag. As of today, our package was updated to be in transit and will be delivered tomorrow. I sure hope so.

What I don’t understand is how the excuse that a customer was not available or business was closed makes sense when both myself and my husband were at home both times AND we saw a FedEx truck enter our complex for another person’s delivery telling me business was in fact not closed. Is this just a way to pass the blame on the customer instead of admitting there was a mistake on their end? I would definitely have more respect for the company if I had gotten an honest update. Because this is the first time I have had major issues with a delivery I won’t give them a one star.

First thing that happened was I woke up and checked if it was on the move, no it was not. It was still in NJ at 11:45 pm and by 7:15 am 3/2/19 it finally moves, so I was assuming it would get to me since I'm only 2 states away from there. Takes a bit of time to get it in my state then a few hours more to actually get to my house.

So I waited all day for it and guess what, I waited for nothing. I don't know who to blame, Newegg for being deceptive or FedEx for goofing off. If they shipped with UPS this would NEVER have happened. Everything would run smoothly. UPS actually ships things overnight instead of doing a "well it's 11 pm time to close, see you at 7 am to move it" thing.

FedEx was getting freaky on me saying I'd get it 3/2/19 then turn around and say 3/5/19 (which is 3 business day) to right back to 3/2/19 within 20 mins from getting an email about it changing to 3/5/19. Make up your mind, am I getting it 3/2 or not. Now it's just sitting at "PENDING". What the heck is pending FedEx? No little '?' like they normally would have with something explaining what it could mean. Overall just an awful nightmare. Got my hopes of finally finishing my computer build with that one important part. Nope. First Amazon was getting wonky on me, now Newegg/FedEx.

I went to the corner store for five minutes and came back. UPS package cames on time and left it there but not FedEx. I called just for them to say it was because I wasn't there... Ok. So waiting on it the next day and once again no package saying I wasn't here. Which I was. I even was looking out the windows and had my TV down low so I can hear but no packages. So yeah I was angry because I was waiting on something that apparently never showed. I was supposed to have three different packages come. Let's just see if it comes. I doubt it.

Now almost 7 pm and tracking site says no known delivery date at this time. It is coming from Dallas to Oklahoma City and it will take more than five days. At least I didn't pay for 2nd day delivery this time as I have in the past. There was a time when FedEx'ed meant on time delivery. They have become a joke. I would rather use USPS as it is cheaper and generally on time.

Walked all over property in front yard and side and even called the post office. Nothing. So I called FedEx. Explained no package was delivered, we have no neighbors. Nearest one is on different road. So it will be resent, however, if it was delivered here the way the notice said and it was taken, it's creepy to think that someone would be lurking in the bushes to grab a package especially since this is not a neighborhood nor or there any other houses.

Well this was not true because I've been home all day. I called and spoke to a rep asking him why driver did not ring my bell. He said no signature was required, so the driver (at his discretion) could leave the package in an unsecured area or take it back for redelivery. Okay, that's fine. However, the driver took the time to leave a tag on the door, but could not ring the bell (which is right next to the door). I've gone on the site and left delivery instructions, signed up for text/email updates. I have no idea what else I can do. The service is horrible. s end

After 4 hours on the phone with them, they would not fix the situation, and will not reimburse for their mistake. The Tracy California hub is an absolute joke! Mind you, there are only 2 houses on our street, and our address is on our metal gate, at the top, with numbers and letters 12 inches high, our driveway has been recently regraveled, and is perfectly fine. OnTrac delivers in a beat up old Ford Windstar and has zero problems with our driveway. FedEx has the worst customer service, and the most lazy drivers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It is not mine, I never ordered it and I haven't used that name in 30 years! 2 phone calls and 1 email later to FedEx to retrieve the package, assurances that "it will be picked up by 2 pm" etc all to no avail. While tracking the part I saw that it was on a truck scheduled for delivery. So I contacted my mechanic and let him know that the part was on its way. Checked a few hours later and tracking said delivery exception. I called FedEx customer service to find out what was going on. The service rep looked into it and said that someone would call me around 5:30 pm to explain what was going on. Waited till around 6:00 to call back. Got a different service rep who put me on hold for 7 minutes then the line went dead.

Called back again and talked to the third service rep who initially tried to blow me off. I explained the whole ordeal again and she called the local hub to see what was going on. She said she talked to the QA department and my part had not arrived back at the hub yet and that someone would call me around 8:30 am tomorrow to explain what was going on with my property.

2:00 pm the next day still no call. Called in again. Had to go over the same information for the 4th time. This time the rep said she talked with the hub and that there was only one person who could answer my questions and he was not going to be in till 5:30 pm today and he would give me a call to explain everything. I am not holding out much hope that he will call. I have now lost three days that my mechanic has also lost and still I have no more information than when I first saw delivery exception. The service reps have all been very polite and nice but do not promise something if you know it is not going to happen. Honesty goes a long way.

This problem has not been resolved by FedEx over the last year. My mail and packages go to the nearest post office since we live in a very rural area without home mail delivery. Packages delivered by USPS or UPS seem to make it to us. But, when we buy something which is sent FedEx Express, we don't get the item. The package gets returned to the sender because the FedEx driver cannot get to the post office before the post office closes. The driver just keeps arriving after the post office closes and leaves a message that the "business was closed or customer not available". One definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. FedEx Express out of Las Cruces fits that definition.

Of course, when the driver arrives at 5:31 pm and the post office closes at 3:30 pm, the package will never get delivered. I have called FedEx Customer Service which seems to be in the Philippines and has no clue as to what is going on. I have called FedEx shipping centers which has been no help. I have asked to speak with the office that delivers the Express packages and have been told that I cannot get that number. Terrible service that just remains poor. Updated on 02/27/2019: My continued saga about FedEx. Today is 2/27/2019. Delivery was to be made between 10 am and 1:30 pm, called them at approx. 1:00 pm. No delivery. Said the driver was already here and no one knocked on my door since I have been home all day, FedEx now sent me an email that tomorrow it would be delivered again between 10 am and 1:30 pm and it would be shipped back the vendor. Makes no sense, they wanted me to pick it up at the local FedEx but the box weighs 39 pounds and having problems with both arms I can only lift 5 pounds and have no one to help me. So I spoke with the vendor and once they receive the package that is being sent back they will kindly replace the items to me at no additional cost, by the way they require an adult signature and I have waited and waited, called FedEx again and they are all very apologetic but no one can help. What a racket!!!

Original Review: FedEx was to deliver package to me that required an adult signature on Feb. 23rd, 2019. I stayed home all day but received a notice that I was not home and said they would deliver it on Tuesday. I called FedEx to let them know I had a doctors appointment at 11:20 am and would not home until after 2:00 pm, they suggested that the delivery be about 2:00 pm. I arrived home. I received message that the driver was here at 11:28 am and would deliver on Wednesday. So all of my efforts of waiting (now for Wednesday) all 3 days have been useless. Called FedEx to complain, driver couldn't come back Tuesday because they said he was in another city and they can't help me. I even called the vendor that is sending me the package and asked to have another carrier delivery any future packages. Customer service is absolutely horrible.

It was also torn from the driver struggling to get box off truck. I understand they have dollies but do not know how to use them. My workbench was heavily damaged. I did not have a box to ship damaged desk back in.

Another desk was shipped, of course although the box said do not lift by straps...the driver did and left it again with a broken box in the snow on my driveway... Having no boxes we loaded the 2 benches in truck. Took to store for refund. Ordered desk instead off Amazon and it appears they also use FedEx now... Although I put a sticker to ring bell so my husband could accept package the FedEx driver dumped it next to the sign. Did not ring the bell and the bottom of the box is damaged yet again. Amazon has begun to ship through FedEx home delivery to our house. We live beside a creek, and have a long, gravel driveway that goes up a hill to our house. The driver for our route has now failed to deliver our packages on 3 or 4 occasions due to rain. We know this because we have filed multiple complaints, and after talking to the station manager, she informed us that the driver chose not to attempt driving up the driveway because it’s “too dangerous.” I’m sorry, but we live here and it’s not dangerous at all, so that is simply bogus. UPS and USPS deliver every time regardless of rain.

I know FedEx policy is to allow driver to have discretion, but this driver (if it’s the same person) has left us without a gift for my mother-in-law, and without food for our dogs. The alternative is driving into town (we live in a rural area) and picking up extra items to make up for this. Yet we aren’t compensated by FedEx. FedEx is a horrible company, and despite multiple complaints, the same issues keep coming up. I don’t know what to do. I can’t seem to stop Amazon from picking their service, I can’t get resolution from the station... I’m stuck. I guess next is to file a BBB complaint, though I seriously doubt that will resolve anything. I will never choose FedEx when I have options, and probably even when I don’t. I decided to write this review after my 3 awful experience with this company. My main concern is the lack of importance they have on a person’s time. My first experience was of not getting my package because it needed a signature, which I understood so I called and asked for it to be saved at a location for me to pick up. It was not saved, however, it was attempted to be delivered again. I called and they said it could not be held and they were sorry they didn’t tell me. So then I asked when I should be at home. They said between any time from 8am-8pm but based on the last attempt “probably” 930-1130.

So I went to my mailing address at 9 only to find they had already dropped by. I called again and they wouldn’t let me pick it up or attempt once more. Took me 1 hour on the phone to finally have my package delivered the next day. The second time I thought I learned my lesson so I set up a profile. Tracked the package on their map, got text message updates and left specific instructions on the website. Again, I didn’t get my package.

For 2 days it kept saying the package was rescheduled for the next day. According to the map, package wasn’t near me. I find out on the 3 day that they attempted to deliver but I had no clue because no name was placed on the slip that was left on the door and my family didn’t know who to notify that they missed a package. FedEx didn’t tell me they attempted to deliver only that I was rescheduled (I thought it was just delayed) and according to their customer support, the messages only tells you the day they will deliver but not a ballpark time. They stated it will be from 8am to 8pm. So they expect me to be there 12 hours and refused to give me other options. I offered to pick it up, have it delivered elsewhere, schedule it for another day, but nothing. It would be returned to sender if I wasn’t there the 3rd day! I can believe they are still in service.

Called today on the 19th, and the rep said, "It's due to bad weather and should be there tomorrow on the 20th." At this time there was no bad weather so not clear why that's their excuse. I’m never the one to complain but this company has been getting on my last nerves. So I ordered an Apple Watch series 3 on Friday and just had to verify some things with AT&T which was fine for the squared away. Finally left the warehouse and days gone by I kept an eye of the tracking. Was getting closer but today 30 mins before it was suppose to arrive it was pending saying that the address wasn’t an existing one yet just had one drop off a package an hour ago. They finally called me back after I talked to customer support. They asked where I was. Told them thought I was going to receive it before 530 then I take a look at the app. Guess what? It’s back at the facility and they told me that it won’t be back out till tomorrow. Seriously couldn’t just go back out try one more time. By far the worst company ever. I don’t know why most companies use them when they keep pulling the same crap and never learn from it.

I ordered something from a department store. I looked at the tracking number and it stated the package was delivered. I called the store to verify my address, to see what might have happened. The store did state they didn't include the apartment or unit number on the shipping label. I called Fedex to see what happened. Someone from the tracking department encouraged me to contact the department store where the item had been shipped. I stated the address was incomplete, as there was no apartment number or unit number. I asked how was the package delivered if there wasn't any apartment number or unit number. I got no explanation but to be told they weren't familiar with the department store's policy on delivering items.

I explained I wasn't interested in the department store's policies for mailing out items. I was only interested in how a package had been randomly delivered at some apartment because the mailing label didn't state where to deliver the item. No reply was given. I'm not interested in empty apologies. This does not rectify the issue. Having a policy on how to handle situations such as this one would be the right step in rectifying this issue, instead of acting as though nothing wrong had happened. They should have accepted responsibility for their mistakes and offered some form of compensation for this.

On February 1st FedEx made possession of a package in Erlanger, KY, containing a coffee table I had purchased on Amazon. It is my understanding that the package arrived in Tacoma, WA (where I live) on Wednesday, February 6th and it was out for delivery on Thursday, February the 7th. On Thursday evening the package was marked as delivered but it was nowhere to be found and after the seller and I contacted FedEx we were told that the driver had attempted to deliver my package around 5 pm but there was no one and he felt unsure about leaving my package outside.

He had already scanned the package as delivered so he just took it back to the truck and drove back to the local FedEx facility with it. This is problem number one. The concierge office in my building was open until 6 pm on Thursday and there were 3 people working in it, and me and my husband were home since 2:30 pm on that day. There was no attempt to deliver my package.

The Pacific Northwest was hit with a snowstorm on Friday that was on and off until Monday morning. But I am lucky enough to live in the waterfront/museum district in my city and the roads in and into my neighborhood, including the highway between the FedEx facility in Fife and us, were clean and ready very quickly. In fact, FedEx Express was delivering packages in my building on Tuesday, alongside UPS and USPS. I called FedEx again (so did the seller) and was told that my package should be delivered by the end of the day. That is problem number two: my package was not delivered and there was no clear information of the status of my package online.

Wednesday, February 13th came and went, I had a nice chat with the FedEx Express delivery guy who was again delivering to my building, and saw two school buses bring children to the Glass Museum next door (so, unstable, light-weight buses that carry children were driving around already), but my package never arrived. I called FedEx again and was given a case number (**) and was told that FedEx was on it. An hour later, I got a phone call from a FedEx representative who assured me my package was going to be delivered the next day. I asked to be allowed to pick my package up myself at the FedEx facility but was told that it was not necessary and they would deliver it the next day.

Thursday came, 8 days after FedEx had schedule my package for delivery. Thursday went and I had no package. I called FedEx again and was said that the package had been in the delivery van, but weather conditions did not allow for it to be delivered... Once again, we had no additional snow, the roads were completely cleared, and all other delivery companies had delivered packages that day (I received 2 myself from UPS). Thursday was a perfectly normal day; all school districts and schools had been open and all business had been functioning in the entire metro area. And yet, I still had no package and was getting what seemed to me like a very silly excuse.

That would be problem three. I was then assured that my package would be delivered on Friday. I asked again to be allowed to pick my package up in the FedEx facility and was told that it was impossible because my package was in the delivery van. I should wait because my package was absolutely going to be delivered the next day. By now I assume you suspect what problem four is: I never got my package and today, Saturday the 16th, I called FedEx again in the morning. I was transferred to a representative who was clearly very irritated with me and was incredibly dismissive.

I was told that FedEx had a lot of packages to deliver, that they were behind in deliveries, and that I should wait because my package was definitely out for delivery. I asked again to be allowed to pick it up in person and was told, again, that it was impossible because my package was in the delivery van. This particular representative had little time for me and insisted that I should wait. When I asked what to do if my package was not delivered today, I was told that Monday was a holiday so perhaps I would get it on Tuesday or could then try to make arrangements to go pick it up myself. That would be Tuesday, February the 19th, 18th days after FedEx took possession of my package and 13 days since the original delivery date. That would be problem four.

I understand the area got hit by an unexpected snow storm but the delivery person could have actually made the delivery on the original date it was scheduled (we have had problems with FedEx delivery persons not delivering packages before and marking them as delivered. Last time I spent an entire weekend trying to locate a package that the local FedEx office could not locate because the delivery guy was gone for the weekend and only him knew if he had actually delivered the missing package or if it was someplace else to be delivered later). Or the package could have been delivered in any of the following 5 days that the city and the area were back in full operations and clean and ready.

Neither I, nor the seller have been offered reimbursement for the delivery fee. Frankly, we haven’t been offered anything, not even a truthful delivery date or an opportunity for me to pick up my package. At this point, I feel like I will have to go out of my way to ensure that nothing I buy is every shipped with FedEx and offer any seller to pay extra to use a different company, along with advice anyone I know to avoid your services. It is February the 16th and my problem had received no resolution and I feel grossly mistreated.

Since the package was supposed to arrive on Friday, Feb. 15th I cancelled the trip and wait all day Friday for the package to arrive.

After the package did not arrive by 8 pm I checked the tracking information and still the information said the item was scheduled for delivery on the 15th. About 10 pm I checked the tracking information again and the delivery date had been changed to Monday, Feb. 18th. Fed Ex cost me a mini vacation with their erroneous delivery information. Several times over the past year the same thing has happened. Why can't Fed Ex provide the correct delivery date for packages. I have never had this problem with UPS. I have had multiple packages lost by FedEx in the last 3 weeks. I live in a new neighborhood and the street does not show up on gps yet. I do understand the challenge this presents, but we have had items delivered by FedEx before as have our neighbors. Also when Amazon delivers they actually call if they need help finding the house, this concept is foreign to FedEx.

The issue I have is twofold. The first is baffling to me as I cannot comprehend how the driver goes to a different town, different street name and different house number and I assume looks at the label on the package and decides it’s close enough. This is either due to lack of training, incompetence or apathy. My second issue is the run around I have gotten and continue to get from their customer service. The first incident they lost my package from Rock Auto (so I can fix my car) and a package of diapers and necessities for my infant. They said they would look into it. Turns out the people in the other town called FedEx and asked them to please come get the packages.

This was never done and FedEx never got back to me. I had to call them and then they said there was nothing they could do. They said I had to call the seller directly and start lost package proceedings which I did. So fast forward 2 weeks and guess what? They delivered my packages to a different town again! I called customer service again (did I mention the call center is in El Salvador). I got the same disingenuous double talk. I did receive a call from the Trace department? A lady named Katy. She asked questions about my house, but started getting defensive and snotty with me when I asked what keeps this from happening again? And why would a driver knowingly drop something off at the wrong address? She informed me it was not her job to know what the drivers do.

Anyway long story short I was told once again if in 5 days they can’t find my packages I must call the seller and start list package proceedings again. I’m really disappointed in the whole experience. I really need my packages and I got the idea that they didn’t really care if I got them or not and it was my responsibility to make a bunch of calls to fix this issue instead of them, the company who caused the issue. I personally will use Amazon or UPS in the future. Their customer service is much more responsive and they actually seem to care.

I was expecting a delivery. FedEx promised delivery on a specific date, and when I called to make sure (since their system hadn't updated in a while) they assured me that it would deliver on the promised day. After their usual delivery time had passed, I called again to check and again they promised it would arrive. Later in the day, I called again and they assured me again it would arrive so I asked them to verify. At that point, they admitted they had lost track of it. They got my number and promised to call me back. They didn't call me back. Instead, they just updated their system to show the package would arrive the next day. This was a problem since I'd taken the day off work to sign for this package after FedEx assured me it would arrive.

Up to this point, I have talked with about 14 people at FedEx. Each has either passed me on to someone else, or has promised me delivery within a window that wouldn't require me to drive an hour to pick it up, or take off work. During the process of talking with the folks at FedEx, more than once one of them has said, "that person couldn't have done what they promised you because we don't do that." In one case, a FedEx employee even told me, "the lady you talk to (a FedEx employee) lied to you."

Up to now, the only thing I have asked of FedEx is, since they didn't do what they'd initially promised, please help me receive my delivery without placing the entire burden of your error on me. Help out just a bit so it doesn't cost me money to alleviate the issue of you losing my package and having a deceitful system. That said, there is one station manager I spoke with who was not only polite (and many of them have been polite, but just unhelpful or complete liars) but she was also practical, offered useful options, and even though I'd have preferred a less burdensome result, at least didn't lie to me.

In closing, I won't be using FedEx again. When I buy from sellers online, I will not buy from them if their only option is to ship via FedEx. For company shipments, I will not use FedEx, and I will request suppliers to ship with anyone except for FedEx. I can accept screw-ups, to a point. I cannot accept dealing with a bunch of liars who pride themselves in deceiving their customers.

FedEx on the other hand... I order my dog food through Chewy.com (one of my dogs has a VERY sensitive stomach/stomach issues and can only handle one type of food, which I can only get online) well, Chewy uses FedEx to ship their products. The last 3 shipments have been late by up to a full week (7 days). 3 of those days I got text notifications it was on the truck for delivery (yet STILL did not get delivered). Each time I’ve called to complain the customer service representatives have been so rude and unaccountable for the company's lack of professionalism.

The last rep told me to just go “buy another dog food to hold them over...” with a dog who's been hospitalized due to stomach issues. This is NOT something you tell ANY customer let alone one who is dealing with health issues... So besides this issue, I live in a multi unit home. There are 3 levels. The lower level has an entrance in the front. My level has a side entrance and the very top level has the back entrance. For over a year now I have been filing MONTHLY complaints with FedEx and Chewy.com has been filing complains as well. FedEx KEEPS delivering to front door. The shipping label says in ALL CAPS "DELIVER SIDE DOOR." FedEx told me to download the app and put delivery instructions in there and I made it VERY CLEAR to DELIVER TO SIDE DOOR. You think they’d do it?? Not once have they delivered it to MY HOME.

The person they keep delivering to is elderly and frail, the box is 35 lbs. She has tripped over this box on her porch and most recently they placed the box directly in front of her door and she could not get out!!! I have cancelled all of my dealings with Chewy.com (They are awesome. Just can’t deal with FedEx anymore.) and all other companies I know use FedEx. I have never dealt with such a lack of common reading abilities (delivery side door) as well as I’ve made so many complaints that are being responded to with snide, rude remarks and keep falling on deaf ears. FedEx is the WORST shipping company I’ve ever dealt with and I will no longer do business with ANY company who uses them! Amazon has only used UPS with all of my orders, and you can find anything on Amazon, so I will be officially ordering everything from them. FedEx should be absolutely ashamed, I don’t know how they are still in business.

Had an iPad delivered from Apple. Of course carriers know that packages from Apple are from AI. Supposed to be delivered February 2. Never delivered despite being 'out for delivery' but tracking status updated each day after saying 'to be delivered by end of day **'. February 7 still not delivered and status changes from 'to be delivered by end of day' to 'pending'. I contact Apple and they see the same and ship a replacement immediately. They file a claim (I know this because I couldn't file one because it had already been filed) and the minute a claim is filed the status changes to 'Delivered Feb 3 at 3:28 PM to 'front door'. Now this is just BS because I was home all day waiting for this package on the 2nd and 3rd and I have ring doorbell that would've shown anyone that came to the door.

So, perhaps they delivered to the wrong door. Could happen, but then you're telling me they also forgot to mark it as 'delivered'. What are the chances of that? I admit, it could happen, however I have about 6-8 packages delivered each week. I have had UPS deliver to the wrong door and neighbors always come by and return to the correct owner. It just seems too coincidental that the driver delivered to the wrong door, forgot to mark it as delivered, and it just so happens to be from Apple. FedEx tries to say it's impossible, but they could easily 'misdeliver' to a friend's house and obtain the contents later. I am pretty sure if it were delivered to my neighbors, they would have returned it. Shady and I don't trust them. I looked it up and there was a large case of FedEx employees stealing iPhones around Christmas time. Would never trust this Company. Hopefully Amazon will drive them out of business.

Too bad I have to give 1 star. Absolutely the worst delivery service out there. Took over 2 weeks to get my last package and going on one week for this one. All they do is keep bringing the package from the depot to “out for delivery” and then they say it is undeliverable because of “local weather delay”. That’s their excuse for not delivering. And try getting hold of someone. I live in Canada and the two reps I spoke with live in Mexico and El Salvador, so they probably think it snows here all the time. Our government postal service Canada Post, is so much better.

I was expecting a package but it never arrived. I called the company to figure out what had happened and the woman I spoke with was very nice and professional. Once the time came to give her a review I meant to give her 5 stars but accidentally gave her two so if you see this I just wanted to thank you for your help!

If I could have given FedEx zero stars, I would have. They are a lazy, horrible service. They've delayed our package delivery twice now for "weather delays" when every other carrier has delivered and I do know that because we had a package delivered from UPS and USPS on the same day we were originally supposed to receive the package from FedEx. Their customer service is awful and even when I chatted with a "live person", they send me copy paste answers that have no relevance to what I had asked about. Never will I ever use FedEx again, if I can help it.

FedEx is the absolute worst postal service you could ever use. Sent my sister a birthday package, but is always at work when FedEx comes to deliver. They will not leave the package on her porch no matter how often we call in and no matter how many bites we leave. She cannot get a simple package because FedEx WILL NOT GIVE HER THE PACKAGE! Never use FedEx. They’re pricey, they do not care about complaint calls, and will not give my sister a stinking birthday present. Paying USPS to deliver in two days is 10x more better than FedEx despite the prices.

I paid for an Express overnight delivery Friday overnight Saturday signature required, drop in front of door or mailbox. The delivery guy just stood at the entrance. Put a sticker for pick up by 5pm. On Monday they did the same thing. Never went to the door, nor the mailbox. Another door tag at the entrance at 10 am. Come pick it up by 1 pm.

FedEx is notorious about not delivering packages in my area, they always say that nobody was home or they need a code to get through the gate. There is no gate, just a driveway, and I set outside all day waiting for an important delivery just to get a text at 3pm that it was a failed delivery, nobody was home. The package doesn’t require a signature so if nobody was home why not just leave it? Easy, he never came down my road, never came to the house.

FedEx has consistently been the worst shipping service of the top three available. I've had problems with USPS and UPS before, but for the most part they are consistent and punctual. FedEx however, is consistent only in its inconsistency. I had a package arrive 2 weeks late in January 2019 because it sat in a warehouse 2 miles from my house. Anytime I've paid for a faster delivery option it takes as long as the standard option for other services. What prompted this review is I paid for 2 day shipping on a package I ordered Thursday morning. According to FedEx tracking they had the package by Friday morning. The delivery time is now scheduled for Tuesday.

I understand the weekend can slow things down, but according to the tracking history it was moving across the country both Saturday and Sunday. Why would it not be delivered on Monday? I will never pay for an expedited shipping option with FedEx again, because they don't seem to care about what the customer has paid for. USPS, on the other hand, routinely surprises me with earlier than expected deliveries. In this situation they would probably have scheduled for Tuesday and then delivered it Monday. All things considered, between customer service and the way they treat employees, FedEx should not be used and hopefully will soon end up in the graveyard of failed, mismanaged companies.

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND A SINGLE HUMAN BEING. I’m a college student, and have a decent amount of professors with strong accents. When you go from rough English... to another language while talking to your coworker next to you WITH ME ON THE PHONE. There’s an issue. 100% inappropriate. In conclusion. Got NOWHERE with my phone call. Even after talking to the manager herself.

Wish zero stars was an option. 1. It took FedEx 3 attempts to deliver a package over the course of 3 weeks because they damaged my product TWICE while in transit! The package was “successfully” delivered on the 3 attempt but on the wrong day. I paid twice to have package delivered during a specific timeframe. Need to confirm if my account was refunded. 2. I was expecting to have a very important package delivered and received delivery confirmation from FedEx. Arrived home but no package. I called FedEx but the only solution they offered was to have the driver or another dept call me back within 24 hours. I drove around the neighborhood to discover my important package was delivered to the wrong address. It’s been almost a week since I notified FedEx about my package and still no follow up call.
